- Chris Laker: Dude, I'm still fucking tired. I thought I was g ready to get up and now I'm recording and realizing I should have slept another ten, fifteen minutes. But here we are. So I'm gonna continue on. Maybe I go back to sleep when this is over for a little bit. But i if you see like my eyes right now and they look tired Yeah, I'm tired. I've been told you look tired a lot throughout my life when I wasn't tired, which I don't know why you say that to somebody. You look tired. Thanks. I've I get told I look angry, I get told, you know, I look tired, I it's not usually a compliment. except when I've been told that I look like Mark Wahlberg. That's the closest to a compliment, and that's only happened three times. in my life, all from dudes. I would never tell somebody they look tired. That I don't know this isn't like a good friend of mine saying you look tired. This is somebody I don't really know saying I look tired. Good friend saying I look tired, hm, yeah, whatever. maybe they misjudged the relationship. maybe they were trying to level jump in the relationship and go straight to honesty about the other person's appearance, which that is a very high level of a relationship. that isn't acquaintance level. you can s tell me anything you want about yourself at acquaintance level. you could tell me that your father was an alcoholic and went to jail for murder, but don't tell me I look tired. that's for really close friends. But I do look tired right now. But don't tell me about don't comment about it. so there's some new reviews. on Apple Podcasts. I notice thank you. They didn't write anything, but they just gave the stars, but there's more. And if you want to do that, you know, go do it if you haven't done it. I don't think you do it more than once. That's illegal. That's voter fraud. And you will be visited by the Apple police who have more power than you think they would. And you can always email me if you want Chris at Chris Laker dot com. If you have news tips, you just wanna fucking email me 'cause you feel like it, that's fine. yeah, sorry, I'm so tired. It is Saturday though. It doesn't really matter because I do this show every day. But there is a Saturday feeling in the air. So it's a little sleepy, don't get up. enjoy your Saturday. But I'm gonna get to the news now. prison chief and Krista Pike case oversaw five botched executions, lawyers say. Five. That's a lot. I don't know if that's including this last one. Let's just be generous and say it does. that's a two strikes you're out situation. One. You get one. the executioner's going through a divorce. He wasn't paying attention, didn't give enough of the lethal injection. You know how it is, these guys. Won't happen again. Second time it happens well, you're really making the death penalty look bad. But four you're going in with four losses on your record into this one I could be wrong. But as a prison chief, killing people should be the easiest part of that job. Nobody escapes from prison anymore, like barely ever. It does happen every once in a while. A good prison escape. Gotta appreciate that. He wouldn't be able to get away with four prison escapes. and the next story is Tennessee's prison chief is resigning after failed execution of Krista Pike, governor says. So that is five year out. That's it. We thought four, come on, people make mistakes, but five, that's it. Where do you go? Maybe you can go into private security. They don't have executions. on the job interviews for this guy, very easy answer for what's your biggest weakness? Killing people. I couldn't execute on the executions. If this job has any aspect of executing people, I don't think I'm the person for it. If you need me to oversee what is essentially slave labor in a corrupt system, that I can do. But yeah, I won't be able to kill anybody involved. US Coast Guard searching for missing Hamilton based air ambulance with six passengers. I say I hate helicopters. Every time I see one of these helicopter stories, I'm assuming that's what the air ambulance is. they love to airlift people out. Well, this is Canada. If you are in the United States and they do one of those helicopter you to the hospital things, you want that helicopter to go missing because they're gonna ruin your life with whatever that bill is. Yeah, you didn't have a choice. We came in there with a helicopter and that's gonna cost you two hundred thousand dollars. I don't know what they cost. It's probably not two hundred thousand dollars. It's so much money Enough money that it just fucks you up. in Canada they might just say, yeah, you need a helicopter to live. You shouldn't also wanna kill yourself after that. It's covered. They say hey, we're gonna rescue you. Get on this helicopter. Well, what good is the rescue if we're gonna crash? Hopefully this is not a crash. I don't know they don't know where it is. And hopefully everybody's okay. Axe wielding Fly Dubai co pilot had been flagged over extremism concerns. I was reading this story on here the other day either they had the details all fucked up or I can't read. And I can't. But I read that story and there wasn't anything about an axe and it was it said the pilot stabbed the co-pilot. I remember that. Because I was thinking if the co-pilot stabbed the pilot, maybe the copilot wanted to be the pilot. But no, it was not that. It was the pilot stabbed the copilot and they didn't say why whatever. So now they're saying the co pilot took an axe. 'Cause they have an axe in the cockpit, which I don't even know about. Maybe it depends on the airline In case there's a crash, they have an axe. So there's just an accident in that cockpit, which I gotta think is gotta be tempting. what happens if I grab that axe? You know, you just have those thoughts. It's probably in glas wouldn't it be behind glass? You're not just gonna leave it loose lying around. But there's one of those in there. He grabs that and he wants to bring the plane down 'cause he's going from Dubai to Israel and he's thinking Israelis are on there and he wants to take the plane down. That's what they're saying the motive was. so was this dude a co pilot and then he decided he wanted to do this or did he become a co pilot with the intention of doing this? Like instead of the the nine eleven hijackers go to flight school in Florida for like a few weeks just to learn enough. He said, I'm gonna go all the way, get the job, start making that co pilot money, it's probably all right. Living that life and then all right, let's I'm gonna do this terrorist act At least he didn't get away with it. So that is the actual story. I didn't really tell a story the other time. I I thought the guy they got into like an argument where he's just like smoldering workplace resentment and then I'm just gonna stab this motherfucker. I and I thought maybe they allow pilots to have knives. But no, it was a failed terrorist attack by a co pilot, And he had been flagged for extremism concern. Once there is a flag, that should be kind of Hey, not flying today until we figure out this flag. Arizona doctors sentenced for thirty-six point five million dollars in Medicaid fraud case. That's a lot of Medicaid fraud. Not as much as Senator Rick Scott was involved in. That was a billion. Over like a one and a half billion? I forget. Over a billion dollars. He's a senator. He didn't get in any trouble because he was working for a company that did it. as opposed to like being a guy who did it. You gotta be a company. Then you can do all the fraud you want. If you're a guy doing fraud, that's stupid. You'll go to jail. Company doing fraud, you there's nothing. You get to walk away. The company gets in trouble. And you still get paid. that's the only way to do fraud. So this doctor, not too smart. Family of FSU shooting victims files lawsuit alleging ChatGPT help shooter plan attack. I would hate to be in a mass shooting at all. But I feel like I would be a little bit more upset if I found out it was some hack using AI to plan the shooting and not just doing it on their own. Yeah, sue chat CPT, take as much money as you can. And maybe somebody over there turn off the planned shooting feature That's not free chat GPT. You you gotta pay for that, but still, I'd say get rid of it altogether. Krista Pike, unconscious, on ventilator at Nashville Hospital, her lawyers say. so they screwed up her execution. I was saying when I heard that, well, she's alive. They shouldn't get to execute her again. Sounds like not doing great. On a ventilator. they gotta keep the machines running. They don't just pull the plug on you there. They will kill you in prison, but they won't pull the plug on you in a hospital. that's against God. Riot police clash with the students as education protests rage in France. Gotta love how they protest in France. They don't fuck around. They get out there and they cause problems. And I'm not saying anybody should do that in protest here. I am not doing that in protests here. I'm saying I'm seeing I see when it's done in France and I admire that. About France. I don't even know what this protest is about, but I am I'm with the protesters. National Guard's been arrested in DC for carrying a pistol without permit. The National Guard should understand the law. You deployed in DC, walking around off duty carrying his personal gun that's registered in Oklahoma. You know you've got to have a permit to carry the place you're at. The law that from your home doesn't transfer I live in California where weed is legal. I go to Oklahoma with weed. They no, I'm California. I have California laws. They don't they don't do that. I don't know, is it that legal there? it's illegal in Texas. They want to put you away for a long time. If I go to Texas, say, Hey, I have California laws though. Look at my driver's license. I don't have your your your laws are stupid. Or yeah, abortion. they probably don't have that in Oklahoma either. They do have open carry. that's the freedom of the freedom is the open carry. The other freedoms no. Those are not freedoms. They're bad freedoms. The good freedom is the gun freedom.
