- 0:00SPEAKER_48: Let your voice be heard on the John Justice show by leaving a text or voice message blast.
- 0:04SPEAKER_48: And call the blaster line at 651-964-0294.
- 0:08SPEAKER_48: That's 651-964-0294.
- 0:11SPEAKER_48: 4.
- 0:13SPEAKER_04: I gotta fix that.
- 0:14SPEAKER_04: It gets cut off there at the end.
- 0:17SPEAKER_04: It is incredible how effective artificial intelligence is at creating songs.
- 0:25SPEAKER_04: And my whole theory about how in the future you will be able to any given night of the week put in a prompt of the movie that you want to watch with the actors that you want to see in that film, and artificial intelligence will create it.
- 0:43SPEAKER_04: There is now a program.
- 0:46SPEAKER_04: Yeah.
- 0:46SPEAKER_04: There's an LLM that can actually go and create that now.
- 0:50SPEAKER_04: So all that is to say, um, you can expect to embark the movie coming very first.
- 1:29SPEAKER_04: I have not purchased the program to create movies out of my science fiction books, which are available on Amazon.com.
- 1:38SPEAKER_04: Just search for uh John Justice on Amazon and embark.
- 1:41SPEAKER_04: You can find him.
- 1:42SPEAKER_04: Find him there.
- 1:42SPEAKER_04: No, it's something that I, you know, I might consider doing in the future, but I also think there's a level of time that needs to be dedicated to it.
- 1:48SPEAKER_04: And I don't have the time currently to go and do something like that.
- 1:52SPEAKER_04: Uh David Garzenstein Ross will not be on today's show.
- 1:55SPEAKER_04: He will be on tomorrow's show.
- 1:57SPEAKER_04: Uh, I know that some of you have already dropped your comments for David.
- 2:02SPEAKER_04: I am uh attempting to go and hang on to those via the email, john.justice at american experiment.org, and to the blaster line voice or text message 651-9640294.
- 2:15SPEAKER_04: He was uh busy uh this AM, but we'll be joining us tomorrow.
- 2:19SPEAKER_04: And I'm really looking forward to that uh conversation, especially considering the uh the doomsday scenarios uh that have been going around since one of the employees at uh Anthropic bailed and said, I don't trust what they're doing with AI.
- 2:34SPEAKER_04: It's gonna destroy humanity, and I'm out.
- 2:38SPEAKER_04: And now, of course, because this is the world that we live in, uh there is division over whether or not we should or shouldn't be concerned about the pending AI overlord apocalypse.
- 2:48SPEAKER_04: So that's just one of many items that we will uh discuss with David Gartenstein Ross on tomorrow's show at 6:30, but we still have the whole show to get through uh today.
- 2:58SPEAKER_04: The Supreme Court slapped down, uh slapped down Trump's attempt to block mail and ballots, temporarily, by the way.
- 3:06SPEAKER_04: The Supreme Court's not one to want to get too to make decisions that are too impactful regarding elections.
- 3:16SPEAKER_04: And I think my read, and I'll give you the details coming up, my read on the Supreme Court decision going against the Trump administration regarding the mail-in ballots uh was aligned with that.
- 3:29SPEAKER_04: The Supreme Court was like, eh, you know what?
- 3:32SPEAKER_04: Uh, we make this decision now, and we're not sure that it can be implemented before the midterms, and we don't really want to be the ones to have to go and have that kind of uh impact.
- 3:40SPEAKER_04: So we'll dive into that a little bit uh later on this hour.
- 3:43SPEAKER_04: We do have Dan Pilla, our tax guru, joining us on the comfy couch here in the center of the American Experiment Studio.
- 3:52SPEAKER_04: That'll be at 8:30 this morning.
- 3:55SPEAKER_04: So if you want to get your questions in for Dan, we've got a couple of different things we'll be talking about with him that we are scheduled to talk about with uh Dan Pilla.
- 4:03SPEAKER_04: But um, he loves answering your questions, sort of an ask our tax guru anything.
- 4:07SPEAKER_04: Uh, so you can get those in early in the same ways that I mentioned before, either via the blaster line or uh drop me an email.
- 4:14SPEAKER_04: IRS audit review down 35%.
- 4:19SPEAKER_04: Dan Pilla says not so fast.
- 4:21SPEAKER_04: So we'll talk about that with him.
- 4:22SPEAKER_04: I want to get his thoughts.
- 4:24SPEAKER_04: I'm sure they're not positive regarding the Trump dividend checks, which we haven't heard anything about since Trump made that announcement at the midterm RNC uh last week because the reception on his$5,000 uh dividend were Republicans to maintain control of Congress didn't go over very well with anybody.
- 4:43SPEAKER_04: We still don't have the details, so I have not rendered an opinion uh on this.
- 4:48SPEAKER_04: So uh joining me is uh producer uh Devin pushing the buttons uh this morning.
- 4:53SPEAKER_04: I know there was an update on Kyler Murray yesterday.
- 4:55SPEAKER_04: Sounds to me like Carson Wentz is probably gonna start.
- 4:57SPEAKER_04: They're playing again this weekend, right?
- 4:59SPEAKER_04: Yes, sir.
- 4:59SPEAKER_04: Who will be playing this weekend?
- 5:00SPEAKER_04: Probably Carson.
- 5:01SPEAKER_04: Okay, who are we playing against?
- 5:03SPEAKER_04: Oh, uh the Bears.
- 5:04SPEAKER_04: Okay.
- 5:04SPEAKER_04: And it's on the fly, but I was confident you knew the information.
- 5:08SPEAKER_04: So there you go.
- 5:08SPEAKER_04: All right.
- 5:09SPEAKER_04: So yeah, it'll probably be Carson Wentz.
- 5:11SPEAKER_04: So hopefully he has a uh he has a uh a good game.
- 5:14SPEAKER_04: Uh the investigation into Ilhan Omar appears to be legit.
- 5:19SPEAKER_04: We'll talk about that just after uh eight o'clock uh this morning.
- 5:23SPEAKER_04: And uh boy, Hennepin County attorney Scary Moriarty.
- 5:27SPEAKER_04: There is a piece at uh Alpha News today that we will get into.
- 5:32SPEAKER_04: So for all of the hubbub controversies surrounding Operation Metro Surge, the cost of Metro Surge, Scary Moriarty, the Hennepin County attorney talking about how it's safe in Minneapolis.
- 5:46SPEAKER_04: Yeah, she's the taxpayers are are footing like$500,000 in security for her.
- 5:55SPEAKER_04: Like I get it.
- 5:56SPEAKER_04: There's threats against public officials, and I think that's per month, if I'm not mistaken.
- 6:02SPEAKER_04: I have it in the stack for the uh for the eight o'clock uh hour, if you give me two seconds.
- 6:08SPEAKER_04: Uh see.
- 6:12SPEAKER_04: No, it's not not per month.
- 6:15SPEAKER_04: Oh, just since November.
- 6:17SPEAKER_04: So in total, in total, she spent a half a million dollars on security.
- 6:21SPEAKER_04: Yeah, so we'll dive into that coming up uh next hour.
- 6:24SPEAKER_04: And of course, we want to hear from you throughout the show.
- 6:26SPEAKER_04: Uh the blaster line, 651-964-0294.
- 6:30SPEAKER_04: Leave us a voice or text message, and we'll share those uh here on the uh on the show and the email, john.justice at americanexperiment.org.
- 6:39SPEAKER_04: You can watch the show live on my X feed at John Justice.
- 6:44SPEAKER_04: That's J-O-N.
- 6:46SPEAKER_04: Also at Center of the American Experiment Facebook and YouTube page.
- 6:49SPEAKER_04: Uh, the show is posted for a week, uh rewatch in all of those locations.
- 6:53SPEAKER_04: You can listen to the show live, and the best way to do that, well, you can listen through AmericanExperiment.org.
- 6:59SPEAKER_04: We encourage you to uh download the completely free Mix LR app.
- 7:02SPEAKER_04: The podcasts are available on the app as well and on all major podcast uh platforms.
- 7:07SPEAKER_04: So we kicked off yesterday's show uh talking about gubernatorial candidate to Congressman Tom Tiffany's crash into uh Lake Wasa over the weekend.
- 7:19SPEAKER_04: There was um ring door camera footage of the plane going into the water.
- 7:26SPEAKER_04: You can't see much.
- 7:28SPEAKER_04: It's way, way off in the distance, but you can hear the plane sputtering and you can see the light on the aircraft as it hits the water and then the spray of the crash.
- 7:42SPEAKER_04: I mean, it would it's kind of surprising to me, just based off of what you can see in the surveillance footage that the pilot and the gubernatorial candidate, uh Tom Tiffany, were not injured uh more than what they were.
- 7:56SPEAKER_04: I was a little bit surprised uh by that, but thank the good Lord Almighty, they they uh they weren't.
- 8:01SPEAKER_04: Uh Tom Tiffany did go on Fox News yesterday to provide an update.
- 8:04SPEAKER_04: Uh, here's what he had to say.
- 8:06SPEAKER_47: What are you thinking at that moment when you know you're going down and you know you're gonna land a plane in water?
- 8:11SPEAKER_47: Uh I don't think I'd be feeling too good.
- 8:16SPEAKER_50: Yeah, my memory is so vivid on that, Sean.
- 8:19SPEAKER_50: As we were making that final turn before we were going to approach for landing, the pilot turned to me and he said, Tom, we're going down.
- 8:28SPEAKER_50: Pull your seat belt as tight as possible.
- 8:31SPEAKER_50: And it was like staring into the abyss, and you don't know how far down it is.
- 8:36SPEAKER_50: Well, I pulled that seat belt as tight as I could, and it was just a couple seconds later, we hit the water and we hit it hard.
- 8:44SPEAKER_50: But the plane stayed upright, thankfully, as a result of the skilled work of the pilot.
- 8:50SPEAKER_50: And we looked at each other and just said, Are you okay?
- 8:54SPEAKER_50: And when we were both okay, I just said to him, Get this door open, because you know what?
- 8:58SPEAKER_50: The door was right there on my side in the uh co-pilot seat.
- 9:02SPEAKER_50: And we got the door open, got out, and um the rest from there, we were able to be um saved by the um local law enforcement as well as the first responders in the Waw area.
- 9:14SPEAKER_50: I can't thank them enough for what they did, but it's by the grace of God that we're here today.
- 9:20SPEAKER_04: Boy, and um I would imagine that and I don't know if this was the pilot's intention, but it sounds like as Tom Tiffany described it, you know, he basically said, We're going down like right because they were apparently they were very close to the airport when they were when they were coming in and they ended up losing power and just couldn't maintain altitude and had to go and ditch into the into the lake.
- 9:44SPEAKER_04: But uh I'm listening to it and I'm going, well, I'm glad that like if it were me, I would be uh happy that I found out like at the last minute.
- 9:52SPEAKER_04: So I don't have to sit on it for a long time.
- 9:54SPEAKER_04: I suppose they knew they were in danger for a while, but it sounds like it wasn't until right before they hit the water where the pilot was like, hey, you might want to not might want to strap in as hard as you can.
- 10:04SPEAKER_04: We're you know, we're we're gonna hit the water, and then right afterwards they did, just to have it prolonged.
- 10:08SPEAKER_04: I just worst nightmare realized, by the way.
- 10:12SPEAKER_04: My son's a pilot.
- 10:13SPEAKER_04: He's flying today.
- 10:15SPEAKER_04: I won't go up with him.
- 10:19SPEAKER_04: I'm good.
- 10:20SPEAKER_04: I trust him.
- 10:21SPEAKER_04: I already don't like being the passenger in automobiles.
- 10:26SPEAKER_04: I already don't like particularly flying on commercial airliners.
- 10:29SPEAKER_04: I will.
- 10:31SPEAKER_04: And I don't I don't experience any sort of debilitating anxiety over and just don't prefer it.
- 10:36SPEAKER_04: Uh but getting into a tiny, tiny plane, I'm good.
- 10:40SPEAKER_04: I'm good, I'm good right right here.
- 10:42SPEAKER_04: You know, the funny thing is when it comes to Logan, just as a side note, hate heights.
- 10:47SPEAKER_04: Ladders at the edge of the Grand Canyon, cliffs, and things like that.
- 10:52SPEAKER_04: Doesn't like him.
- 10:54SPEAKER_04: But yet he's totally fine being up in an airplane.
- 10:56SPEAKER_04: I I do that is that makes no sense to me whatsoever.
- 11:02SPEAKER_04: All right, let's go here.
- 11:04SPEAKER_04: New York officials are moving to close a loophole that has allowed self-described um man Mangioninistas, Mangioninistas, Mangionistas, Mangionistas, Luigi Mangioni fangirls, for as disgusting as that sounds.
- 11:23SPEAKER_04: They're closing a loophole that allowed these self-described Mangionistas to obtain and flaunt official press credentials.
- 11:33SPEAKER_04: So this is in response to Luigi Mangioni, who of course murdered the United Healthcare CEO and the supporters of Luigi accessing restricted areas and acting as advocates during the murder suspects' latest court appearance.
- 11:48SPEAKER_04: The city uh council has introduced a bill that's designed to make it much easier to revoke abused press passes.
- 11:57SPEAKER_04: There is nothing new.
- 11:59SPEAKER_04: We have different ways of bringing about information, receiving information.
- 12:07SPEAKER_04: We have different clicks in society.
- 12:11SPEAKER_04: You may have an increase of wack-a-doodles who are susceptible to social contagion, but the fascination of individuals and those that have committed horrible crimes, infatuation in some cases, like here, this is nothing new.
- 12:29SPEAKER_04: It's been going on, it's been going on forever.
- 12:31SPEAKER_04: Unfortunately, as I've been talking about on the show, we as a society just see a lot more of it.
- 12:35SPEAKER_04: And there may be a lot more of it, considering that more individuals see other people that align with their twisted demonic views and then decide to follow suit.
- 12:47SPEAKER_04: So currently taking away the press pass for the New York uh in New York City is a high bar uh to uh to get over legally.
- 12:57SPEAKER_04: Under existing rules, the mayor's office of the media and entertainment must prove uh by clear and convincing evidence at a hearing that revoking or suspending the credential is justified.
- 13:09SPEAKER_04: Yeah, I would think that these lunatics carrying around their pro Luigi Mangioni science would be a first indicator of that.
- 13:17SPEAKER_04: Me personally, but I'm not on the mayor's office of media and entertainment, although I should be.
- 13:23SPEAKER_04: I would be good at that job.
- 13:26SPEAKER_04: A new bill seeks to change that by amending the administrative code to lower the burden of proof to a preponderance of evidence.
- 13:35SPEAKER_04: According to the bill's sponsors, the change will ensure that while due process is maintained through the office administrative trials and hearings, the city can more effectively address the obvious abuses of the credentialing uh of the uh yes, the credentialing system.
- 13:52SPEAKER_04: The legislative push comes on the heels of national outrage over the behavior of several individuals holding city-issued press passes outside the New York State Supreme Court hearing.
- 14:03SPEAKER_04: Uh, City Council speaker Julie Mean stated the new reform aims to address the problem of Luigi Mangioni fangirls.
- 14:14SPEAKER_04: Said this uh during an interview with Fox Five in New York City.
- 14:18SPEAKER_04: These fangirls are not journalists, they're showing up at the trial with press credentials that the City of New York is giving them.
- 14:25SPEAKER_04: Menon said.
- 14:26SPEAKER_04: These individuals, including credentialed influencers Ashley Rojas and Lena Weisbrott, made incendiary statements to the press, according to Fox News.
- 14:37SPEAKER_04: Rojas aggressively dismissed the victim and his mother while Westbright, uh Westbrook, Weisebrott, doesn't matter, attempted to justify the killing by comparing Thompson to Osama bin Laden.
- 14:49SPEAKER_04: Now we're gonna go with the idea just for the sake of this story and the point that I want to make, that these two women are being legitimate in their fangirl Mangionistas of Luigi Mangioni, because there is an argument to be made that they could be doing this just as a grift.
- 15:08SPEAKER_04: That being said, as I mentioned, there is nothing new.
- 15:10SPEAKER_04: There are individuals out there that align themselves, become attracted to and support straight-up murderers like this.
- 15:18SPEAKER_04: I mean, look at what's happened in the Lindsay Clancy situation.
- 15:23SPEAKER_04: Beyond changing how the passes are revoked, the new bill forces a hard look at how they are handled and handed out in the first place.
- 15:30SPEAKER_04: If passed, the local law will take effect immediately.
- 15:34SPEAKER_04: However, it will not apply any revocation hearings that were already officially noticed prior to the to the law's enactment.
- 15:43SPEAKER_04: Uh, these people, these women specifically, they need a Bible and a strong alpha male in their lives.
- 15:51SPEAKER_04: They're searching for a God in all the wrong places.
- 15:55SPEAKER_04: It's a savior complex.
- 15:57SPEAKER_04: There's a lot of different angles to this.
- 15:58SPEAKER_04: But you have the savor, uh, the savior complex of women like this, and you've seen this in other circumstances, you know, I guess the first one that comes to mind and it dates me, you know, there was a char the the Charles Mansion the Mansion uh Charles Manson sycophants, not just those that ran with the Manson family, but those that were actually fans of Charles Manson even after he was he was arrested.
- 16:21SPEAKER_04: But there's this idea that women have that they can oh they can oh I can change him.
- 16:26SPEAKER_04: I can I can change him.
- 16:29SPEAKER_04: But also it's the admiration of an alpha male in this case.
- 16:35SPEAKER_04: You know, they've bought into this idea and the propaganda that Luigi Mangioni and what he did in murdering the CEO, like this woman says, where she compares the murdering of Thompson to, you know, the taking out of Osama bin Laden.
- 16:51SPEAKER_04: I mean, you do that, and then they take on this mentality that, you know, this man is actually protecting them.
- 17:00SPEAKER_04: You know, how many of these women, just I mean, questions that I have.
- 17:03SPEAKER_04: Like, how many of these women, and I will I would venture a guess that the majority of them probably experienced past trauma?
- 17:10SPEAKER_04: And with that, they see strength and alpha male strength in a murderer like this, but there's also a safety aspect because he's behind bars.
- 17:20SPEAKER_04: So they can fawn over them, they can go and visit them in jail, send them letters, but it's all safe because he's locked up, he can't go anywhere, can't cheat on him, essentially.
- 17:38SPEAKER_04: They have a captive alpha male that they can go and throw their admiration on.
- 17:43SPEAKER_04: There's no, you know, flight risk of the dude.
- 17:46SPEAKER_04: He's he's locked up.
- 17:49SPEAKER_04: And once again, another example of individuals attempting to fill that God-sized hole in their heart, you know, this is the absence of a true Lord and Savior, like our Lord Jesus Christ.
- 18:01SPEAKER_04: This is a this is an aspect of this.
- 18:03SPEAKER_04: But it also, as I mentioned, isn't anything new, even though we tend to see more of it.
- 18:09SPEAKER_04: And I do think there's an argument to be made that perhaps more and more individuals have actually aligned this way than have in the in the past.
- 18:20SPEAKER_04: Because of the social contagion aspect of it, you see like-minded individuals online, you think that your mentality is now justified and you move forward uh with that.
- 18:29SPEAKER_04: But ultimately, it just comes back down to the sinful nature, and as I mentioned, individuals that are searching to go and fill a void in their life and doing it in all the wrong places.
- 18:38SPEAKER_04: 651-964-0294 is the number for the blaster line.
- 18:43SPEAKER_04: Leave us a voice or text message.
- 18:46SPEAKER_04: We'll get to those coming up in just a moment here on the show.
- 18:48SPEAKER_04: Also, on the way, do you guys remember the panic over the baby formula shortage that we were dealing with?
- 18:59SPEAKER_04: I know I do.
- 19:00SPEAKER_04: Do you guys remember how Trump was blamed for that over and over and over again?
- 19:07SPEAKER_04: I I I remember I I remember.
- 19:10SPEAKER_04: I remember how Trump was blamed for that.
- 19:12SPEAKER_04: Uh turns out uh Trump had nothing to do with the baby formula shortage.
- 19:17SPEAKER_04: The story has now come out, has now come out as to what happened.
- 19:21SPEAKER_04: Abbott Laboratories has agreed to pay out nearly$385 million over the baby formula shortage, and we now know the truth.
- 19:33SPEAKER_04: And again, it had absolutely nothing to do with the Trump administration and Trump's policies.
- 19:40SPEAKER_04: I'm gonna bring you the details on this story coming up on the show.
- 19:44SPEAKER_04: Again, 651-964-0294.
- 19:48SPEAKER_04: I see the text and voicemail uh messages already rolling in here to the John Justice show presented by American Experiments.
- 19:54SPEAKER_04: So we will dive into those coming up in just a moment.
- 19:57SPEAKER_04: Now, you may be like me, and perhaps you're a little behind the eight ball when it comes to spring cleaning.
- 20:03SPEAKER_04: And maybe not even so much spring cleaning, but just making sure that as we head into the fall and we head into the cold winter months, that your house is running, you know, at the level that you expect, that you're not dealing with any unwanted issues.
- 20:17SPEAKER_04: Right now is the perfect time to reach out to the home service company that is not going to give you what you typically get.
- 20:24SPEAKER_04: And that's upsells, that's commissions, and that's one trade fixes.
- 20:28SPEAKER_04: I'm talking about Ericsson Plumbing, heating, air, and electrical.
- 20:31SPEAKER_04: They are local, they are family-owned with licensed experts across all the major trades.
- 20:36SPEAKER_04: I've had the opportunity to meet with the amazing folks over at Erickson a few times in their offices.
- 20:41SPEAKER_04: I had their non-commissioned technicians come into my home and do a full home mechanical analysis right on down to water quality testing.
- 20:49SPEAKER_04: You see, they can go and identify any potential problems now, fix them sometimes on the spot.
- 20:56SPEAKER_04: I had them do some quick fixes.
- 20:58SPEAKER_04: They didn't even cost me anything.
- 20:59SPEAKER_04: They're just like, oh, this is an easy one.
- 21:00SPEAKER_04: Boop.
- 21:01SPEAKER_04: But if they hadn't fixed it, it would have cost me a ton in the in the future.
- 21:04SPEAKER_04: It's all part of their iHeart My Home Club.
- 21:06SPEAKER_04: You can see all the details at the website, iHeartErickson.com.
- 21:10SPEAKER_04: And I also want to mention that because their techs are non-commissioned, it means that you're going to get an incredibly honest and true assessment that's in your best interest because, again, they're not going to be looking to upsell you.
- 21:24SPEAKER_04: They're not looking on looking at commissions.
- 21:26SPEAKER_04: You can trust the individuals at Ericsson Plumbing, Heating, Air, and Electrical.
- 21:30SPEAKER_04: Check them out today.
- 21:31SPEAKER_04: Trust me, this is who you want to go with for your home service needs.

- 21:40SPEAKER_04: That's 763 783 4545.
- 21:44SPEAKER_04: And when you call Ericsson, do me a favor and let them know that John Justice sent you.
- 21:48SPEAKER_41: All the special interests are represented in St.

- 22:18SPEAKER_04: What's the biggest fear you have about selling your home?
- 22:21SPEAKER_04: What if it doesn't sell, right?
- 22:23SPEAKER_04: That's why upfront cash offers can sound so appealing.
- 22:26SPEAKER_04: But what if you can sell your home without fear and without leaving equity on the table?
- 22:32SPEAKER_04: That's the advisor advantage from Hallway North real estate advisors.
- 22:36SPEAKER_04: Hallway North doesn't just put your home on the market, they help prepare your home, strategically position it, and launch it in a way designed to generate attention and create competition among buyers.
- 22:47SPEAKER_04: Now you have options like better offers, terms, and more equity for you.
- 22:52SPEAKER_04: Get your free one-on-one consultation at hallwaynorth.com.
- 22:56SPEAKER_04: That's hallwayNorth.com, brokered by Bridge Realty.

- 24:00SPEAKER_41: Think about it.
- 24:01SPEAKER_41: Minnesota has always been a low crime state.
- 24:04SPEAKER_41: But according to the most recent Bureau of Criminal Apprehension data, we are now above the national average when it comes to part one crimes, a category that includes crimes like murder, assault, rape, and carjackings.
- 24:17SPEAKER_41: Think about it.
- 24:18SPEAKER_41: Minnesota is now a high crime state.
- 24:22SPEAKER_41: Visit highcrime.com to learn more.
- 24:25SPEAKER_41: Think about it is brought to you by Center of the American Experiment, Minnesota's think tank.
- 24:31SPEAKER_04: We were just discussing here on the John Justice Show, presented by American Experiment.
- 24:35SPEAKER_04: Luigi Mangioni fangirls could have press passes revoked under a new New York City bill.
- 24:43SPEAKER_04: Let's go to the uh blaster line and hear from some friends of the show.
- 24:46SPEAKER_45: The inability to be discriminating about a man's character.
- 24:50SPEAKER_45: That's precisely why these kind of women they marry men that end up beating them and abusing their children.
- 24:57SPEAKER_45: No discernment at all.
- 24:59SPEAKER_04: Yeah.
- 24:59SPEAKER_04: It's tragic.
- 25:01SPEAKER_04: It's absolutely uh tragic.
- 25:03SPEAKER_04: And you know, and I don't mean to disparage the internet and social media.
- 25:07SPEAKER_04: I think it's great for a lot of things, but like a lot of things in life, it's also really, really bad and it perpetuates social contagion.
- 25:14SPEAKER_04: Whether it's fangirling over murderers like Luigi Mangioni, or whether it's actually going and defending other, you know, mothers who murdered their children.
- 25:26SPEAKER_04: Yeah, these are uh not positive developments here in the United States of America, but also not anything uh new.
- 25:33SPEAKER_04: Neither is uh trashing the Trump administration when they didn't do anything wrong, which was the case when it comes to the baby formula panic.
- 25:41SPEAKER_04: You guys remember that?
- 25:42SPEAKER_04: Well, the feds have just revealed what actually happened.
- 25:46SPEAKER_04: Why it took this long to find out, I have absolutely no idea.
- 25:52SPEAKER_04: So you all remember the baby formula shortage panic of 2022.
- 25:56SPEAKER_04: Uh, the article, uh writer in Daily Wire says I was driving from Boca Raton, Florida, all the way to the Keys, five hours checking every single store along the way.
- 26:06SPEAKER_04: I was posting on Facebook asking anyone and everyone to check their stores.
- 26:11SPEAKER_04: I had people flying formula in from around the country just to make sure I could feed my baby and I wasn't alone.
- 26:19SPEAKER_04: And remember, it was all Trump's fault.
- 26:21SPEAKER_04: Trump's bad.
- 26:22SPEAKER_04: It's all his fault.
- 26:23SPEAKER_04: Years later, we're now learning that the government uh what in the gov uh what the government says was actually happening behind the scenes at one of the plants making the formula.
- 26:33SPEAKER_04: Some of the details are enough to make any parent's stomach turn.
- 26:38SPEAKER_04: Abbott Laboratories has agreed to pay nearly$385 million to settle allegations tied to baby formula and nutritional products manufactured at its plants between 2018 and 2022.
- 26:52SPEAKER_04: We're not talking about some minor paperwork violation here either.
- 26:56SPEAKER_04: Apparently there were roof leaks and a lot of them.
- 27:04SPEAKER_04: There was a post online by a Trump uh official that says the DOJ wants to send a message that America's food supply is non-negotiable.
- 27:14SPEAKER_04: According to the government's complaint, leaks were so common inside the Sturgis Michigan plant that water would run and drip over the equipment instead of permanently fixing what was causing them.
- 27:28SPEAKER_04: Prosecutors say Abbott used temporary fixes, including something called roof leak umbrellas to divert water away from the areas where products were being processed.
- 27:40SPEAKER_04: All the while, according to the complaint, the company leadership understood that a wet environment increased the risk of microorganism contamination.
- 27:48SPEAKER_04: And then there were the spray dryers.
- 27:51SPEAKER_04: These are massive pieces of equipment that are used to turn liquid formula into the powder the parents scoop into their baby's water bottles.
- 27:59SPEAKER_04: The government alleges that Abbott continued running them even after the cracks and pits have been documented inside.
- 28:05SPEAKER_04: Conditions prosecutors say also increase the risk of contamination, particularly when moisture was present.
- 28:13SPEAKER_04: And then it gets worse.
- 28:15SPEAKER_04: The Justice Department also alleges that Abbott increased the number of batches that went through the dryers between cycles, allowing them, allowing the company to pump out more product, and then perhaps the most stunning revelation of all what Abbott allegedly chose not to test.
- 28:35SPEAKER_04: According to the complaint, Abbott intentionally avoided testing for bacterial growth because it did not want to get positive results showing contamination.
- 28:46SPEAKER_04: It sounds like fraud in Minnesota.
- 28:47SPEAKER_04: Well, we don't want to investigate any potential fraud in Minnesota because we might actually find fraud in Minnesota.
- 28:54SPEAKER_04: I can't test this stuff.
- 29:01SPEAKER_04: But remember, guys, it was all Trump's fault.
- 29:06SPEAKER_04: The government also alleges that in some instances, when testing did show microorganism contamination, Abbott failed to disclose those results while responding to the FDA requests during the inspections in 19 and 2022.
- 29:21SPEAKER_04: Abbott has now agreed to pay$384,999,040 to resolve the allegations.
- 29:29SPEAKER_04: And that makes me uh smarter than the uh uh one of the finance directors on the Minneapolis City Council.
- 29:36SPEAKER_04: I didn't even I didn't even pre-read that big number.
- 29:39SPEAKER_04: I just I just read it on the fly.
- 29:41SPEAKER_04: That's right, Devin.
- 29:43SPEAKER_04: Roughly$348.7 million will go to the federal government to settle false uh claims allegations.
- 29:49SPEAKER_04: Hey, maybe that's part of where we're all getting the$5,000 dividend checks.
- 29:56SPEAKER_04: That's a joke.
- 29:57SPEAKER_04: It's not nearly enough.
- 29:59SPEAKER_04: Still don't know where that money's supposed to come from.
- 30:01SPEAKER_04: I don't think it's happening, but we'll talk about that with Dan Pilla coming up uh in about two hours from now.
- 30:08SPEAKER_04: Uh let's see.
- 30:09SPEAKER_04: While another 36.3 million is going to go to states over claims involving Medicaid and the uh special supplemental nutrition program for women, infants, and children.
- 30:19SPEAKER_04: SNAP.
- 30:21SPEAKER_04: Or also uh WIC.
- 30:23SPEAKER_04: More than half of all the infant formula purchased in the United States was paid for with USDA funds through WIC, according to the Justice Department's state Medicaid programs, and they also pay for certain infant formulas.
- 30:35SPEAKER_04: Federal officials had already raised concerns about the conditions at the Sturgis facility, the FDA uh found at the uh found a particular bacteria, which I am not even going to attempt to try to pronounce on the show, that can cause serious and even deadly infections in babies.
- 30:54SPEAKER_04: Abbott eventually reached an agreement with the federal government outlining what the company had to do before it could restart production.
- 31:02SPEAKER_04: You know, it's stories like this that don't have me jumping to conclusions or firm opinions on particular things that, you know, not that the Trump administration wants to move forward on, like the dividend checks, or with the complaints that come from the mainstream media, and that's a given.
- 31:24SPEAKER_04: Any kind of complaint that moves forward about President Donald Trump coming from the mainstream media should always be taken with a grain of salt until you get the actual truth.
- 31:33SPEAKER_04: I mean, sometimes it's valid and sometimes it's not.
- 31:35SPEAKER_04: And in stories like this, as to the reason why, because I remember the commentary.
- 31:41SPEAKER_04: And that's the sad part about stories like this, too, because we really should spend more.
- 31:45SPEAKER_04: I mean, I'm not going to, I don't have it in front of me, but we should.
- 31:48SPEAKER_04: We really should spend more time.
- 31:50SPEAKER_04: Maybe not for you, the friends of the show, or for me or for producer Devin, but for the casual political watchers out there.
- 31:59SPEAKER_04: It would behoove the media to go back and grab the sound bites of all of those leftist politicians that were just basically talking out of their butts regarding the baby formula shortage and blaming it on Trump when it had nothing to do with Trump and everything to do with Abbott technologies and what was happening at their own factories.
- 32:23SPEAKER_04: This is me sitting here on a Tuesday morning on the John Justice show, not holding my breath for fear of passing out live on the show.
- 32:31SPEAKER_04: Might be entertaining though.
- 32:34SPEAKER_04: Go watch John just passed out on the microphone during the show.
- 32:39SPEAKER_04: But Devin, that would be disingenuous, and I refuse to go and do something like that.
- 32:45SPEAKER_04: All right, let's go here.
- 32:47SPEAKER_04: Bad news for Trump.
- 32:49SPEAKER_04: That was some good news.
- 32:50SPEAKER_04: This is bad news.
- 32:51SPEAKER_04: Uh the Supreme Court rejected Trump's mail ballot restrictions, allowing states to continue using the existing uh process for the midterm elections.
- 33:02SPEAKER_04: Uh, the restrictions, which would have required states to adopt a uniform envelope style and submit the voter lists to an online portal were challenged by Democrat state officials and voting rights groups uh groups.
- 33:16SPEAKER_04: Uh so the decision allows states to continue sending out mail ballots under the same process that they've used for years.
- 33:22SPEAKER_04: So it's incredibly disappointing, but it's also not the end of the world.
- 33:28SPEAKER_04: Elections can still be won with this.
- 33:30SPEAKER_04: We should do something about this.
- 33:31SPEAKER_04: I don't know if Trump has anything else in his toolbox to use to change this, given the fact that we are within, what, seven weeks now, less than 50 days before the election, probably nothing can be done.
- 33:44SPEAKER_04: I'm not gonna personally get discouraged.
- 33:46SPEAKER_04: And I would also encourage you to not get too discouraged over stories like this, because not everything is gonna go Trump's way.
- 33:55SPEAKER_04: And this administration has accomplished plenty that the left is never going to admit despite setbacks like this.
- 34:05SPEAKER_04: Now, Justices Samuel Alito and Clarence Thomas dissented from the brief order.
- 34:12SPEAKER_04: Uh, Justice Brett Kavanaugh agreed the restriction should not go into effect for the midterms, but indicated that he might rule in favor of the Trump administration later.
- 34:20SPEAKER_04: And this is what I was talking about before that the Supreme Court often does not want to get in and make a decision that is going to have any sort of meaningful impact on an election, especially this close to an election.
- 34:35SPEAKER_04: And what's funny about this, by the way, is that they actually have a point.
- 34:39SPEAKER_04: There's a piece in the Minnesota Reformer uh this morning.
- 34:44SPEAKER_04: Trump's plan to limit mail voting hinders Democrats more than the GOP, according to analysis.
- 34:52SPEAKER_04: I hope nobody got paid for that analysis because I could have told you that.
- 34:58SPEAKER_04: I mean, it's kind of one of the biggest duh.
- 35:01SPEAKER_04: I mean, one, of course, if Trump is moving to get rid of mail in balloting, there probably is an assumption here that while it's good for all of America, regardless of political party, there is an obvious assumption here that it is going to be more beneficial to Republicans than it is uh Democrats.
- 35:16SPEAKER_04: But you're always gonna, you're never gonna have an even split of it affecting either party.
- 35:19SPEAKER_04: It could have gone either way.
- 35:22SPEAKER_04: But to the justice's point, I mean, I wish they had ruled the other way, but the story from the Minnesota Reformer where a Democrat-aligned voting rights group, fair fight action, FFA, analyzed vote-by-mail data in seven swing states and found that Democrats voted by uh mail more often than Republicans.
- 35:46SPEAKER_04: The analysis suggests eliminating mail-in voting could benefit Republicans in the 2026 midterms, as Democrats have a larger advantage in mail-in voting.
- 35:55SPEAKER_04: Trump's campaign against mail-in voting, citing concerns about fraud, could potentially impact the outcome of the key House and Senate races, but the Supreme Court has now made its decision on that.
- 36:04SPEAKER_04: The case does have major implications because nearly one-third of the country votes by mail.
- 36:08SPEAKER_04: That is tragic, in my opinion.
- 36:11SPEAKER_04: It shouldn't be that way.
- 36:13SPEAKER_04: As Trump has said recently, when it comes to vote the voting by mail, it should be something that is done in only specific circumstances.
- 36:21SPEAKER_04: Election officials have said there was simply no way to carry out a complete overhaul in the weeks before the midterm, so this should have been done long beforehand.
- 36:30SPEAKER_04: Indeed, Alabama, North Carolina, and Wisconsin began sending mail uh ballast to voters over the past week while the new system was still not active.
- 36:38SPEAKER_04: Uh, which also probably means, and this is worse news, that even if Congress were to get the Save America Act passed, it probably could not do anything prior to the to the midterms.
- 36:51SPEAKER_04: Sidebar uh note though, uh Congressman uh Mitch McConnell is back.
- 36:57SPEAKER_04: Looks worse than Joe Biden.
- 36:58SPEAKER_04: Holy cow.
- 37:00SPEAKER_04: They got him in a wheelchair.
- 37:02SPEAKER_04: He looks like the crypt keeper for crying out loud.
- 37:04SPEAKER_04: He's got his, he's like his, it's like his weekend at Bernie's.
- 37:07SPEAKER_04: I saw footage of him this morning, and I'm like, everybody's just okay with this?
- 37:14SPEAKER_04: With Mitch McConnell basically hopped up on whatever they're giving him, probably something similar to what they gave Joe Biden to keep him just alert and able to speak, even though it wasn't coherent half the time.
- 37:27SPEAKER_04: Oh, but he's back in Congress now.
- 37:29SPEAKER_04: He's just a mess, and everybody is apparently well, not everybody's fine with it.
- 37:33SPEAKER_04: Commentators like myself and others pointed out, but all those who are surrounding him in Congress need to get their heads checked.
- 37:39SPEAKER_04: Here's uh President Donald Trump talking about his thoughts on mail in ballots and why it needs to be.
- 37:45SPEAKER_12: You read recently in New Jersey where tremendous numbers of people were found out that they were on the voter rolls totally illegally, and that's all over the country.
- 37:54SPEAKER_12: That's nothing compared to what's going on in California and Minnesota and so many other states.
- 38:00SPEAKER_12: And hopefully there will be no mail-in ballots.
- 38:03SPEAKER_12: Mail in ballots are inherently corrupt, except for illness, disability, military deployment, or travel.
- 38:10SPEAKER_12: If you're in the military, you're far away, absolutely.
- 38:13SPEAKER_12: If you have to go someplace, absolutely.
- 38:16SPEAKER_12: But mail-in ballots have proven to be a disaster.
- 38:20SPEAKER_12: We're the only country in the world that in this form does them.
- 38:23SPEAKER_12: There's no other country in the world because they're crooked.
- 38:26SPEAKER_12: They pass through too many hands.
- 38:31SPEAKER_15: Hey John, good morning.
- 38:32SPEAKER_15: This is James Dickey.
- 38:34SPEAKER_15: In the Supreme Court's decision to block the mail-in voting thing, there's two things that are just really irksome.
- 38:40SPEAKER_15: Justice Leto in his dispatch points out a really good point, which is that when the previous thing where the court had enjoyed the executive order that was actually preventing.
- 38:54SPEAKER_04: Oh, James, you got cut off there.
- 38:56SPEAKER_04: So leave us um leave us another um comment if you don't mind.
- 38:59SPEAKER_04: I didn't get a chance to catch it in the transcript, but I definitely want to hear uh your uh your thoughts uh on it.
- 39:05SPEAKER_04: I got a couple of texts that have rolled in to the blaster line.
- 39:09SPEAKER_04: Again, uh 651-964-0294.
- 39:13SPEAKER_04: Somebody asks, is it really Mitch or is it a robot fitted out with AI to act like Mitch?
- 39:20SPEAKER_04: Joe from Blaine having fun today.
- 39:21SPEAKER_04: Thank you, Joe.
- 39:22SPEAKER_04: You could have said you were Joe from Blaine.
- 39:24SPEAKER_04: I would have known you were joking.
- 39:26SPEAKER_04: No, because and listen, let me just take a serious stance on that for just a moment.
- 39:29SPEAKER_04: It's one of the things that drove me nuts about the conspiracy theorists saying that Joe Biden was uh a replacement for the real Joe Biden who had something had happened to him and we had a different Joe Biden.
- 39:42SPEAKER_04: Why would you make an almost catatonic substitute for Joe Biden?
- 39:47SPEAKER_04: Like if you were gonna bring out Mitch McConnell, let's just say for the sake of argument, and I'm sure there are people out there saying that it's a a crisis actor or whatever you want to call it.
- 39:55SPEAKER_04: But if that's the case, why would you make it so that the replacement Mitch McConnell or the replacement Joe Biden is a disaster?
- 40:04SPEAKER_04: You would at least make them somewhat co coherent.
- 40:09SPEAKER_04: Never made any sense to me.
- 40:10SPEAKER_04: Uh this comment also rolled in.
- 40:12SPEAKER_04: Mail and voting should be like the left used um when it comes to abortions, rare and safe.
- 40:19SPEAKER_04: Now, that's also a very, very good point.
- 40:22SPEAKER_04: Thank you for that.
- 40:23SPEAKER_04: Speaking of elections, let's go here.
- 40:25SPEAKER_04: And again, uh James Dickey, a friend of the show, uh, leave us another uh blast.
- 40:29SPEAKER_04: I want to hear the totality of your comments on the Supreme Court's uh decision.
- 40:33SPEAKER_04: I appreciate your uh your input.
- 40:35SPEAKER_04: Uh Democrats and activist groups are preparing for potential interference in the midterm elections by the Trump administration.
- 40:42SPEAKER_04: This includes plans to recruit volunteers to guard polling places, organize mass protests, and distribute legal advice to judges.
- 40:51SPEAKER_04: The concerns center around Trump's attempts to change the election rules, which isn't happening, but this is not gonna stop groups like this.
- 41:00SPEAKER_04: One of them, by the way, is indivisible, in case you were wondering, and now you're not surprised to hear that it's indivisible.
- 41:08SPEAKER_04: Uh, but the concerns center around Trump's attempts to change election rules, deploy federal agents to polling places, and overturn election results.
- 41:16SPEAKER_04: I'm gonna bring you some more details regarding this story here in uh just a moment, including I have uh a story here regarding Tom Holman saying that there is no plan for ICE to go to polling locations.
- 41:28SPEAKER_04: So all of this is for not.
- 41:32SPEAKER_04: So details coming up in just a moment here on the John uh Justice show.
- 41:37SPEAKER_04: I want to take a moment and remind you that if you have any difficulty getting a good night's sleep and you have not tried the night gummies from Mini Leaf, check them out today.
- 41:49SPEAKER_04: They're incredibly effective.
- 41:51SPEAKER_04: They have different blends depending on what you're dealing with in terms of not getting a good night's sleep.
- 41:57SPEAKER_04: And that used to be the case for me.
- 41:59SPEAKER_04: Everybody always um is surprised when they hear my sleep schedule.
- 42:04SPEAKER_04: And I've just I've been doing this for almost the entirety of my radio career where I go to bed about 6:30.
- 42:11SPEAKER_04: I'm usually out between 7 and 7.30, and I get up at 2.30 in the morning.
- 42:15SPEAKER_04: I like the schedule, but unfortunately, it's not exactly a healthy uh sleep schedule.
- 42:20SPEAKER_04: The my circadian uh rhythm does not um exist for me.
- 42:26SPEAKER_04: And often I'd have a hard time getting a good night's sleep.
- 42:28SPEAKER_04: That's not the case anymore with the night gummies.
- 42:30SPEAKER_04: I take one made with all natural ingredients before I go to bed, and even if I have to get up in the middle of the night, even a couple of times, when I get back into bed, I am out like a light and I wake up to the alarm feeling refreshed and ready to come in and talk to you here on the John Justice show presented by American Experiment Monday through Friday, 6 until 9 a.m.
- 42:47SPEAKER_04: Maybe you're getting a good night's sleep, but you're dealing with some chronic or acute pain.
- 42:51SPEAKER_04: The Triple Diamond Pain Cream will take care of that.
- 42:53SPEAKER_04: Maybe you're looking at another way to unwind other than alcohol.
- 42:57SPEAKER_04: Their spooky mini leaf tonics are brewed right here in Eden Prairie.
- 43:00SPEAKER_04: They taste spectacular, a lot of great flavors.
- 43:03SPEAKER_04: The fun gummies, the dark chocolates, it's all available at minileaf.com.
- 43:08SPEAKER_04: So head on over to the website, M-I-N-N-E-L-E-A-F.com.
- 43:14SPEAKER_04: That's minileaf.com.
- 43:16SPEAKER_04: We're gonna take a quick break.
- 43:17SPEAKER_04: I'm gonna get back to your uh blasts that have been coming into the blaster line text and voicemail.
- 43:23SPEAKER_04: I believe James Dickey has uh left us another comment.
- 43:26SPEAKER_04: So we'll hear um from lawyer James Dickey and his thoughts on the Supreme Court ruling pushing back on Trump and his attempts to rein in the mail in uh ballots.
- 43:36SPEAKER_04: And then we'll turn our attention over to uh fraud, a couple of different items.
- 43:40SPEAKER_04: Remember all that COVID catch, uh cash?
- 43:43SPEAKER_04: The feds just came knocking.
- 43:46SPEAKER_04: $245 million in loan fraud related to 160 defendants have been discovered during the summer anti fraud surge.
- 43:56SPEAKER_04: I have audio from JD Vance and FBI director Cash Patel.
- 44:00SPEAKER_04: And then we'll get into further details of the Star Tribune investigation, finding that Walls and Flanagan turned a blind eye to the fraud.
- 44:08SPEAKER_04: And now you have Clobichar and Lisa Damuth coming out and calling for people to be fired.
- 44:15SPEAKER_04: I think there's something else that's happening with this article and Expose that the Star Tribune printed over the weekend.
- 44:20SPEAKER_04: I'm going to share with you my thoughts on it coming up here on the John Justice Show, presented by American Experiment, and continue to get those comments in to 651-964-0294.
- 44:31SPEAKER_48: And now here is commentary from the guests, hosts, and policy fellows of Center of the American Experiment.
- 44:36SPEAKER_48: To learn more, go to AmericanExperiment.org.
- 44:39SPEAKER_46: And when you're when there's money attached to it and you're being told, like, you know, not only do you have to bill for this time now, but you have to bill like this amount of time in order to like keep an organization viable in order to pay employees, then it becomes a whole separate thing.
- 44:55SPEAKER_46: And then suddenly, you know, programs and organizations were giving incentives if you bill a hundred hours a month.
- 45:03SPEAKER_46: If you, you know, and there's like maximums for every single person.
- 45:07SPEAKER_46: But essentially, organizations wanted you to build a maximum.
- 45:09SPEAKER_46: And I understand, in a sense, because when it started, that meant that other housing programming like funding was going away.
- 45:16SPEAKER_46: So then you were supposed to like replace it.
- 45:18SPEAKER_46: Replace it, yes, with the HSS stuff.
- 45:20SPEAKER_46: So I get it.
- 45:21SPEAKER_46: Like as an org, like you just had to, if you needed to pay your employees, they had to bill a certain amount of time.
- 45:26SPEAKER_46: But of course, we know what that leads to, you know, fabrication of hours and all that kind of stuff.
- 45:31SPEAKER_41: All the special interests are represented in St.
- 45:33SPEAKER_41: Paul.
- 45:34SPEAKER_41: But who speaks for you?
- 45:35SPEAKER_41: Center of the American Experiment does.
- 45:38SPEAKER_41: Our policy fellows dig into the tough issues that matter to you and offer common sense solutions on education, taxes, crime, and energy.
- 45:46SPEAKER_41: American Experiment is the trusted, nonpartisan voice of Minnesotans like you.
- 45:51SPEAKER_41: We are working every day to make Minnesota a better, safer, more prosperous place.
- 45:56SPEAKER_41: We are American Experiment.
- 45:58SPEAKER_41: Go to AmericanExperiment.org to learn more.
- 46:01SPEAKER_46: Because the barrier to entry was so low for HSS, like literally, you fill out some paperwork and you pay, I can't remember what it was, like 700 bucks or something like that.
- 46:10SPEAKER_46: They ask zero questions about your background, like nothing.
- 46:12SPEAKER_46: I think if you're serving actual people, like if you're like a you have to do a background check, but not if you're just like starting it or like doing admin stuff.
- 46:19SPEAKER_46: Okay.
- 46:20SPEAKER_39: Support the John Justice show by becoming an advertiser.
- 46:23SPEAKER_39: For more information, email john.justice at americanexperiment.org.
- 46:30SPEAKER_04: It is a John Justice show presented by American Experiment.
- 46:34SPEAKER_04: Let's go back to the uh blaster line and get some of uh your thoughts at 651-964-0294.
- 46:42SPEAKER_19: Good morning, John.
- 46:43SPEAKER_19: So we're gonna have a really good morning, John.
- 46:51SPEAKER_19: So we're gonna have a really good turnoff at Minnesota this year.
- 46:55SPEAKER_19: We got a few uh Republican ballots already printed out.
- 46:59SPEAKER_19: We got a couple you know ballots ready to be delivered to the uh post office early, you know.
- 47:05SPEAKER_19: We're gonna have the higher turnoff for Republicans in Minnesota history.
- 47:09SPEAKER_19: You know, so then we got a couple of late ballots that we're gonna be sending a couple of those ballots to, you know.
- 47:19SPEAKER_04: Thank you for the comments, Rich.
- 47:21SPEAKER_04: I'm sorry it sounds like they might have gotten uh cut off there at the end.
- 47:23SPEAKER_04: I don't know why we're having any issues.
- 47:25SPEAKER_04: Maybe I need to do uh refresh the page here at some point in time.
- 47:28SPEAKER_04: Let's uh try out uh Paul from uh Brooklyn Park.
- 47:31SPEAKER_21: Morning, John Paul from Brooklyn Park.
- 47:33SPEAKER_21: So this uh protest group set election sites, yeah.
- 47:37SPEAKER_21: That's that's great.
- 47:38SPEAKER_21: So we're not gonna have the mail in voting regulations, but we are gonna have a bunch of loonies getting in the way when you're trying to walk into vote.
- 47:48SPEAKER_21: That that can't go over on, can it?
- 47:50SPEAKER_21: And regards to mail in voting, Steve Simon's been the Secretary of State every year that mailing voting's been going on.
- 47:57SPEAKER_21: Surprised.
- 47:58SPEAKER_21: Democrats have never lost a statewide election since mailing voting.
- 48:02SPEAKER_21: No no excuse mealing voting with adoption.
- 48:05SPEAKER_21: That's just crazy.
- 48:08SPEAKER_04: Thank you for the comments, Paul.
- 48:09SPEAKER_04: I appreciate it.
- 48:11SPEAKER_14: If you're on the right, do not just care about the Supreme Court decision.
- 48:15SPEAKER_14: We need to get the right and the cows out to the poll in place.
- 48:20SPEAKER_14: And if you're one of those that say you want to vote on day of, but you don't know if you're gonna make it, you better start filling out those ballots and filling them in and making sure they make it there.
- 48:31SPEAKER_14: The left is just playing um feeding and the corruption that comes with mailing value.
- 48:40SPEAKER_14: So we need to get it out there.
- 48:42SPEAKER_14: Even if the Canada is not one hundred percent what you want, abortion issue, whatever it might be, you need to get your butt into the polling place or fill off that ballot.
- 48:54SPEAKER_14: Because you need to overcome the stronghold in Manample, St.
- 48:57SPEAKER_14: Paul, Rochester, Duluth, St.
- 48:59SPEAKER_14: Cloud, and Mankato, which are gonna vote 100% Democrat.
- 49:03SPEAKER_14: Get out there, get your neighbors out there, vote, vote, vote.
- 49:08SPEAKER_14: That's the only way we're gonna win and save your family.
- 49:10SPEAKER_04: Yeah, from your lips to uh to God's ears.
- 49:13SPEAKER_04: A fantastic comment.
- 49:15SPEAKER_04: And Republicans, it would be it would be well to do for those voting Republican, if you're looking to increase voter turnout, to make sure that you're talking about the accomplishments of this administration.
- 49:29SPEAKER_04: You know, even on the show, we typically go and focus on that which gets pushback from from Trump.
- 49:37SPEAKER_04: Okay, because a lot of times it becomes more entertaining to talk about the bad than the good, but that's what makes stories.
- 49:43SPEAKER_04: That's what drives the headlines.
- 49:45SPEAKER_04: But the reality is no, this administration has accomplished a ton.
- 49:50SPEAKER_04: And if Republicans look to win and want to increase voter turnout, that's a way to go and do it.
- 49:55SPEAKER_04: Getting back to these activists that are needlessly planning to protest if the Trump administration tries to interfere with voting or ballot counting, it doesn't matter.
- 50:03SPEAKER_04: They're going to protest anyways, even despite the Supreme Court ruling.
- 50:07SPEAKER_04: The unprecedented efforts, according to the uh article from the AP, are in response to Trump's equally unprecedented moves to interfere with this year's midterm elections.
- 50:18SPEAKER_04: The bias just drips from the pages written by the Associated Press.
- 50:27SPEAKER_04: Used to be such a solid outlet to go to for just straightforward news.
- 50:34SPEAKER_04: That's what the Associated Press was meant for.
- 50:37SPEAKER_04: If you wanted an unbiased, un, you know, if you want an unbiased view of the news, that's where the Associated Press, you know, was best.
- 50:48SPEAKER_04: And now it's just trash anti-Trump narratives, equally unprecedented.
- 50:56SPEAKER_04: Now, the fair way to do it would be to say Trump is trying to shore up election integrity.
- 51:00SPEAKER_04: Even if you want to mention how it may make it more difficult to vote, that's fine.
- 51:05SPEAKER_04: Nothing should be easy.
- 51:07SPEAKER_04: The reality is it's too easy to vote now, especially for those that aren't eligible.
- 51:12SPEAKER_04: The anxious contingency planning as voting gets underway has become a marker for how fraught democracy has become in a country that once stood as an example in the world, writes the AP.
- 51:24SPEAKER_04: We have never prepared for an election sabotage event like we have now, according to Ezra Levin of the far-left leaning group Indivisible.
- 51:35SPEAKER_04: Let me read that again.
- 51:36SPEAKER_04: We have never prepared for an election sabotage event like we had now.
- 51:41SPEAKER_04: These individuals are living in fantasy land.
- 51:47SPEAKER_04: It's straight up propaganda fear-mongering.
- 51:55SPEAKER_04: Chad from Anoke here.
- 51:56SPEAKER_04: Sure, it's funny how Democrats have ignored Jimmy Carter's uh finding that mail-in voting is the easiest way to commit voter fraud.
- 52:02SPEAKER_04: Yeah, isn't that interesting how that uh how that happens?
- 52:06SPEAKER_04: By the way, to my point, and we'll talk more, uh, Tom Homan, especially regarding uh Ilhan Omar, uh coming up in uh just a few minutes here on the show.
- 52:17SPEAKER_04: But the borders are Tom Homan stated that immigrations and customs enforcement has no plan to conduct sweeps of polling locations during the November midterm elections, which is unfortunate.
- 52:26SPEAKER_04: Because I kind of wish that they would.
- 52:31SPEAKER_04: Uh this comes amid concerns that Democrats and voting rights groups uh that immigration enforcement and other Trump administration policies could imitate, could intimidate voters, particularly Latino voters.
- 52:42SPEAKER_04: I don't care.
- 52:43SPEAKER_04: We have a story later on in the show, time permitting to get to it.
- 52:47SPEAKER_04: Uh, the continued effort to keep Operation Metro Surge top of mind for voters here in Minnesota.
- 52:54SPEAKER_04: Uh the latest salvo is uh healthcare providers talking about the missed services for those that are still in fear of Operation Metro Surge.
- 53:09SPEAKER_04: It's funny how life happens.
- 53:10SPEAKER_04: There's actual consequences to your actions, both positive and negative.
- 53:14SPEAKER_04: Uh the Trump administration has denied plans to deploy ISET polling locations and argues that it its election integrity measures are necessary to prevent uh fraud.
- 53:26SPEAKER_04: That's right.
- 53:26SPEAKER_04: So again, we'll talk a little bit more homing uh coming up a little bit uh later on next hour here on the John Justice show presented by American Experiment.
- 53:35SPEAKER_04: Remember, leave a voice or text a message to the new blaster line, 651-964-0294.
- 53:41SPEAKER_04: Uh so a lawyer James Dickey has dropped me a text where we can get into uh his thoughts on the Supreme Court ruling pushing back on Trump's efforts to rein in mail and balloting.
- 53:51SPEAKER_04: Uh Justice Alito points out in dissent that the court sat on that previous judge order that was preventing the mail ballot rule from being finalized.
- 54:02SPEAKER_04: They reviewed it during July and August because Justice Jackson was writing a ridiculous dissent that frankly doesn't make any sense.
- 54:11SPEAKER_04: The chief just let that happen.
- 54:13SPEAKER_04: So then they passed the final rule and it gets set aside by the court with all haste.
- 54:20SPEAKER_04: And they're able to shut this down without an explanation from the majority.
- 54:24SPEAKER_04: Then you have Justice Kavanaugh who says that he doesn't want to let this rule go into effect because he's worried that it's going to upset the apple cart before the election.
- 54:33SPEAKER_04: But just a week ago, Kavanaugh agreed to let the Missouri Supreme Court set aside the Missouri congressional district map that was used in the actual primary election.
- 54:44SPEAKER_04: It just doesn't seem even-handed.
- 54:47SPEAKER_04: Yeah, I tend to agree with lawyer James Dickey's assessment here.
- 54:52SPEAKER_04: I wonder if the argument from Kavanaugh is the difference in terms of ease of implementation.
- 55:00SPEAKER_04: Not that I want to give excuses for Kavanaugh.
- 55:03SPEAKER_04: I don't know if this is the case or not.
- 55:06SPEAKER_04: But that could be one reason why he went that way.
- 55:08SPEAKER_04: Wherein he's saying, well, letting the Missouri Supreme Court set aside the Missouri congressional map used in the primary election, although that was right on top of it.
- 55:18SPEAKER_04: So maybe that doesn't make sense either.
- 55:23SPEAKER_04: As I mentioned before, though, either way, don't get too down on this.
- 55:28SPEAKER_04: It's not like things got easier for Democrats when it comes to mail and voting.
- 55:33SPEAKER_04: Things just are the way that they are.
- 55:35SPEAKER_04: And as we've seen in the previous election, including here in Minnesota, Republicans can still make gains if you're looking for Republicans to make gains.
- 55:43SPEAKER_04: Can still make gains even with the current election system that we have in place.
- 55:50SPEAKER_04: All right, let's get back to some of your thoughts from the blaster line this morning, 651-964-0294.
- 55:56SPEAKER_07: Hey, John, Jerry Rosemont.
- 55:58SPEAKER_07: Hey, uh you know, this whole thing reminds me, all this voting stuff and all this protesting about everything and just the craziness in the world.
- 56:09SPEAKER_07: I think it started when we had participation trophies for everybody who participated but didn't actually win.
- 56:17SPEAKER_07: Because this crowd reminds me of the participation generation.
- 56:25SPEAKER_07: I don't understand it.
- 56:26SPEAKER_07: Why do they think their opinion matters so much?
- 56:31SPEAKER_04: Always great to hear from you, uh, Jerry.
- 56:34SPEAKER_04: Appreciate you leaving us a uh a blast this morning, and it's an interesting um assessment.
- 56:38SPEAKER_04: Thank you so much for uh dropping the comment to 651-964-0294.
- 56:45SPEAKER_04: Coming up in the very near future, uh there will be a post-show podcast.

- 59:50SPEAKER_04: So yesterday, big press conference took place.
- 59:54SPEAKER_04: Cash Patel, FBI director, vice president J.D.
- 59:58SPEAKER_04: Vance, among others, the Justice Department and the Small Business Administration announcing yesterday the summer uh the summer crackdown on COVID era loan fraud produced enforcement actions against more than 160 defendants tied to approximately 245 million in intended losses to taxpayers.
- 1:00:20SPEAKER_04: Ahead of the presser, you had Attorney General Todd Blanch, who apparently is going to be doing the White House press briefing today.
- 1:00:26SPEAKER_04: That should be entertaining.
- 1:00:27SPEAKER_04: FBI Director Cash Patel, the Small Business Administrator, the Fraud Task Force lead, all holding a round table with their partners at the FBI facility in Kansas City.
- 1:00:38SPEAKER_04: The Trump administration officials impressed upon their counterparts that they are deadly serious about stopping fraud around the United States, and they shared their excitement at achieving such startling results.
- 1:00:48SPEAKER_04: We do have some audio to share from that yesterday, and we will get into coming up how apparently on the heels of the DHS, Mark Wayne Mullins talking about how Ilhan Omar did marry her brother.
- 1:01:03SPEAKER_04: That investigation is apparently very real and continues.
- 1:01:07SPEAKER_04: I'm gonna give you the information on that coming up in just a moment here on the show.
- 1:01:11SPEAKER_04: But let's go ahead and uh hear a bit from this press conference yesterday.
- 1:01:14SPEAKER_04: Here is uh JD Vance.
- 1:01:16SPEAKER_02: Under the leadership of Kelly Leftler, who by the way has been an amazing advocate for the American people, has probably been the most zealous anti-fraud person in the entire administration.
- 1:01:26SPEAKER_02: We are gonna spend 870,000 people permanently, people who defrauded the government over the last couple of years, uh the last couple of decades, we're gonna make it impossible for them to get loans from the federal government.
- 1:01:40SPEAKER_02: Think about the PPP program, which was set up by Congress and by the administration during the first COVID administration to ensure their small businesses were able to operate in the incredibly challenging environment that was created by the COVID pandemic, and of course, by the state government response to the COVID pandemic.
- 1:01:57SPEAKER_02: What we did is we created a program to ensure that small businesses were able to operate, and importantly, American workers were able to be supportive.
- 1:02:05SPEAKER_02: But as happened with so many of the programs that are born out of the generosity of the American taxpayer, we had many, many people who took advantage of those programs.
- 1:02:15SPEAKER_02: People who decided to steal from the American taxpayer, steal money that was supposed to go to small businesses and American workers' wealth.
- 1:02:23SPEAKER_02: We think it makes sense that if you were caught stealing from the American taxpayer, you shouldn't be able to benefit from these loans anymore.
- 1:02:29SPEAKER_02: So we're gonna spend about 870,000 people from being able to access these funds in the future and from being able to borrow money from the American taxpayer.
- 1:02:38SPEAKER_02: If you screwed the American taxpayer, the federal government is now gonna say you're cut off, no more, you shouldn't be applying anymore, and if you do apply, you're no longer able to get those benefits.
- 1:02:49SPEAKER_04: Listen, this is all fantastic news.
- 1:02:54SPEAKER_04: And my comments here are not a criticism in the slightest of what J.D.
- 1:03:00SPEAKER_04: Vance and others announced yesterday.
- 1:03:02SPEAKER_04: But the the question that I want answered is okay, what are we also doing to make sure that this doesn't happen again?
- 1:03:12SPEAKER_04: You know, it's interesting, just as a side note, I learned this this morning uh that those countries where USAID, where your money was being funneled through USAID that ended up being shut down, suddenly now there's been a wave of elections that have taken place, the normal elections.
- 1:03:33SPEAKER_04: And suddenly now a whole bunch of right-wing candidates have been winning where they hadn't for like decades.
- 1:03:43SPEAKER_04: There was fraud going on.
- 1:03:44SPEAKER_04: I mean, you know that, I know that.
- 1:03:46SPEAKER_04: I wish Doge was continuing.
- 1:03:48SPEAKER_04: The question that I have is okay, this is this is fantastic.
- 1:03:51SPEAKER_04: Hold people accountable.
- 1:03:52SPEAKER_04: That'll certainly, I hope, do some good in stopping individuals from conducting the fraud.
- 1:03:58SPEAKER_04: But beyond that, the question is, okay, what else are we doing to make sure that this fraud cannot happen any longer?
- 1:04:04SPEAKER_04: Or if there were to be a changeover in power, that they wouldn't just allow it to go and happen again.
- 1:04:10SPEAKER_04: Here's more from uh JD Vance uh yesterday.
- 1:04:13SPEAKER_04: Uh this time, slamming Democrats for uh defending uh fraud.
- 1:04:17SPEAKER_02: If you're looking to cast a ballot in November for somebody who's gonna protect your taxpayer dollars and ensure that the food stamp program actually goes to young families, who ensures that the Medicaid program actually ensures that our low-income children have access to a doctor, to ensure that our small business administration goes to upstart companies, not the fraudsters, then you need to think seriously about why congressional Democrats have refused to help us at every step of the way.
- 1:04:52SPEAKER_04: Well, let me go here to Cash Patel.
- 1:04:53SPEAKER_04: I have one more clip from JD Vance.
- 1:04:56SPEAKER_04: Before I get to that, though, because it's a little off the path that we're currently on, let me go to uh the FBI director uh Cash Patel.
- 1:05:05SPEAKER_04: Um again, continuing the discussion regarding the individuals that have been wrapped up in their investigation conducting fraud across the country.
- 1:05:15SPEAKER_04: Here is the uh FBI director, Captain.
- 1:05:17SPEAKER_28: Thanks for the Vice President.
- 1:05:18SPEAKER_28: We put together the most wanted fraudsters list.
- 1:05:20SPEAKER_28: And in just the last three months, Mr.
- 1:05:22SPEAKER_28: Vice President, as you know, we have captured five of the most wanted fraudsters.
- 1:05:27SPEAKER_28: They were on the run for a collective 4,000 days.
- 1:05:31SPEAKER_28: We went to three separate continents and captured fraud totaling value of$2 billion.
- 1:05:36SPEAKER_28: Five in just three short months.
- 1:05:39SPEAKER_28: But, Mr.
- 1:05:40SPEAKER_28: Vice President, we have even good more good news for you today and for the American people, and a message to the world that we will manhunt these fraudsters on every corner of the planet.
- 1:05:49SPEAKER_28: Just this past weekend, the Federal Bureau of Investigation, along with our international law enforcement partners, captured Emily Ty, a most wanted fraudster on her most wanted fraudster list in Vietnam, who had been there hiding.
- 1:06:00SPEAKER_28: Since at least 2023, she herself was responsible for more than$100 million of Medicaid fraud.
- 1:06:07SPEAKER_28: So, as a result of the Vice President's Most Wanted Fraudsters list, this FBI and our state and local partners, along with our international law enforcement partners, have captured six of the most wanted fraudsters on planet Earth, spanning every almost every continent in the world and totaling over$2 billion in just three short months.
- 1:06:23SPEAKER_28: And I hope to bring the same resolve that we did with the FBI's top ten most wanted lists to this most wanted fraudsters list and double that number by the end of the year.
- 1:06:32SPEAKER_04: So let me uh I want to spike this in, and then I got some really interesting uh comments that have come into the uh blaster line at 651-964-0294 here on the John Justice show presented by uh American Experiment.
- 1:06:46SPEAKER_04: So last hour, if you missed it, be sure to check out the podcast and get caught up.
- 1:06:52SPEAKER_04: But we gave you the story of how Abbott Laboratories is paying out some$380 plus million dollars over that 2022 baby formula shortage that the leftists and the mainstream media blamed on Donald Trump.
- 1:07:09SPEAKER_04: No, it turned out that this was a factory issue.
- 1:07:12SPEAKER_04: There were leaks in the ceiling contaminating the baby formula, and Abbott Industries didn't take the necessary steps in order to protect their supplies, which ended up causing this massive shortage for a company that is one of the largest delivering baby formula.
- 1:07:30SPEAKER_04: So you shut down Abbott, they're not producing any, and then there's a run on the existing supplies of other companies, and there you see the the problem.
- 1:07:39SPEAKER_04: I I mention all of that because JD Vance explains um why we are fighting with Canada over the tariffs.
- 1:07:50SPEAKER_04: In plain English, for everybody listening and for those even in the way back.
- 1:08:06SPEAKER_49: If it drags on.
- 1:08:08SPEAKER_02: Well, one of the things the president's trying to do is just make things more fair for the American worker.
- 1:08:12SPEAKER_02: If you look at what to your point about that$4 billion export market, we've got to ask ourselves: is Canada applying restrictions on Kansas City workers or Missouri workers or Kansas workers that it's not applying to anybody else?
- 1:08:26SPEAKER_02: The unfortunate answer is despite the fact that we all love Canada, it's obviously a friendly country in a lot of ways, their government has imposed extraordinary trade restrictions on American workers all across our country for many years.
- 1:08:39SPEAKER_02: And you see this in some cases in the agricultural space where, you know, if if you buy a pound of butter from Canada, we're not applying any tariffs on it, or at least we weren't.
- 1:08:49SPEAKER_02: But if we actually send agricultural products into Canada, sometimes our farmers are paying 200%, 300%.
- 1:08:56SPEAKER_02: The same basic principles applying to our lot of manufactured goods.
- 1:08:59SPEAKER_02: And at the same exact time, while Canada is imposing a whole host of tariffs on our workers and a whole host of export and import controls on American workers, they're letting products come in from the People's Republic of China with nothing like those that level of restriction.
- 1:09:16SPEAKER_02: So what the president is doing here, it's not in an effort to hurt anybody, certainly not in the United States, not even in Canada.
- 1:09:24SPEAKER_02: We're trying to make things more fair.
- 1:09:26SPEAKER_02: And what we're saying to the Canadian government is if you want access to American markets, you have to be fair to American workers.
- 1:09:32SPEAKER_02: This is gonna lead to a place that's much better for American workers.
- 1:09:36SPEAKER_02: I think, frankly, much better for Canadian workers, too, but they've got to be more fair.
- 1:09:40SPEAKER_02: And if they're gonna mistreat American workers, then it's incumbent upon the President of the United States to fight back, which is exactly what he's doing right now.
- 1:09:47unknown: Next slide.
- 1:10:02SPEAKER_04: Going with the ridiculous claims because, for the most part, those on the left don't ever want to do any internet searches to verify the claims that are made against President Donald Trump.
- 1:10:16SPEAKER_04: For example, those indivisible lunatics that parked themselves on the street outside of the GOP building at the Minnesota Strait uh State Fair wearing the cowardly yellow shirts with all of these claims against the president and Republicans.
- 1:10:30SPEAKER_04: If you just go Google those, you can refute every single one.
- 1:10:34SPEAKER_04: They're all bogus.
- 1:10:37SPEAKER_04: Lacking context, false narratives, redirects to the actual truth.
- 1:10:45SPEAKER_04: But they've done such an effective job for so many of their broken and brainwashed on the left that when it comes to actually examining the motivation of the Trump administration, they don't even bother.
- 1:10:57SPEAKER_04: They just completely dismiss it outright.
- 1:11:00SPEAKER_04: Now, this is not to say that every single move by the Trump administration is a good, solid, productive move and best for the American people, but it is to say that the moves that Trump makes, they're calculated.
- 1:11:13SPEAKER_04: They're doing it for a reason, not just willy-nilly, as J.D.
- 1:11:18SPEAKER_04: Vance laid out in that clip during the press conference where they were talking about fraud.
- 1:11:21SPEAKER_04: And we'll keep with the fraud theme coming up in just a moment.
- 1:11:25SPEAKER_04: Uh John Phelan, policy fellow here at American Experiment, has a follow-up to the Star Tribune investigation, finding Walls and Flanagan administration turned a blind eye to fraud.
- 1:11:34SPEAKER_04: This has now prompted Lisa Damath and Amy Klobuchar to call for individuals to be fired.
- 1:11:39SPEAKER_04: And I believe this is all one big massive setup.
- 1:11:42SPEAKER_04: Much like the Truth Council, which will make an appearance on the show today when it comes to Operation Metro Surge.
- 1:11:49SPEAKER_04: The same thing rings true with the Star Tribune expose.
- 1:11:52SPEAKER_04: Because it's not the number of individuals reading these articles because the Star Tribune is floundering right now.
- 1:11:59SPEAKER_04: They're going to be hurting even more so because apparently a developer was looking to buy the now vacant Star Tribune building to turn it into a data center and they've backed out.
- 1:12:10SPEAKER_04: So now individuals in that area who protested against it get to have a vacant building sitting there that's just going to be occupied by drug abusers, homeless people, and squatters.
- 1:12:22SPEAKER_04: No, it's not about the individuals and the the diminishing readers of the Star of Tribune.
- 1:12:28SPEAKER_04: No, it's about establishing a narrative that shields Amy Klobishar and Peggy Flanagan from scrutiny.
- 1:12:36SPEAKER_04: So we'll dive into this coming up in just a moment because I do have some blasts that have come in that I want to address.
- 1:12:42SPEAKER_04: First off, though, if you need help with your home, most companies try to sell you more.
- 1:12:47SPEAKER_04: Ericsson Plumbing, Heating, Air, and Electrical is wholly different.
- 1:12:51SPEAKER_04: This is a fantastic group of people.
- 1:12:54SPEAKER_04: I've been over to their offices a few times now, just always incredibly welcoming.
- 1:12:59SPEAKER_04: And that's even before you get to the fact that they're licensed to experts, incredibly knowledgeable, friendly across all the major trades, and non-commissioned.
- 1:13:09SPEAKER_04: So they're not going to try to upsell you.
- 1:13:12SPEAKER_04: You know that the recommendations that you get, for example, if you go with their iHeartMy Home Club, a full home mechanical analysis, seasonal tune-ups, water quality testing, you know that they're not going to be taking advantage of you.
- 1:13:24SPEAKER_04: They want to give you the right assessments that are in your best interest because they want to keep you as a customer.
- 1:13:31SPEAKER_04: That's what a good business does.
- 1:13:33SPEAKER_04: And when you need home care, you want to go with a business that you can trust, a business that your neighbors trust and that I trust.
- 1:13:40SPEAKER_04: That's Ericsson Plumbing, Heating, Air, and Electrical.
- 1:13:42SPEAKER_04: From leaky pipes to heating, cooling, and electrical fixes, Ericsson does it all.
- 1:13:46SPEAKER_04: Fast and done right the first time, local and reliable, and always ready to help.
- 1:13:51SPEAKER_04: Visit iHeartexon.com or call Ericsson Plumbing, Heating Air and Electrical today to find out more.
- 1:13:58SPEAKER_04: And be sure that when you do, you tell them that John Justice sent you.
- 1:14:01SPEAKER_04: That number is 763 78-34545.
- 1:14:04SPEAKER_04: That's 763 783 4545.
- 1:14:07SPEAKER_42: Join Center of the American Experiment on Saturday, September 19th for our 2026 fall briefing featuring Byron York.
- 1:14:14SPEAKER_42: Byron York is the chief political correspondent for the Washington Examiner, but you probably know him from his frequent appearances on Fox News.
- 1:14:21SPEAKER_42: York will give us an update on the race to control the U.S.
- 1:14:24SPEAKER_42: House and Senate, and will show how Minnesota fits into the 2026 electoral map.
- 1:14:29SPEAKER_42: Will President Trump beat the odds and grow his power in Congress?
- 1:14:32SPEAKER_42: Or will Democrats take over and throw Washington into gridlock?
- 1:14:36SPEAKER_42: Join us at the beautiful winery at Sovereign Estate to hear York's timely message.
- 1:14:40SPEAKER_42: Plus, enjoy great views, conversation, and food and drink.
- 1:14:44SPEAKER_42: Tickets are going fast, and we do expect this event to sell out.
- 1:14:48SPEAKER_42: Get your tickets now at americanexperiment.org/slash events.
- 1:14:52SPEAKER_42: That's AmericaneExperiment.org slash events.
- 1:14:57SPEAKER_04: I will be out there for uh this event on uh Saturday uh to say hi to everybody.
- 1:15:02SPEAKER_04: So I hope that uh if you haven't gotten your tickets yet, there's still just a few left at Americanexperiment.org.
- 1:15:08SPEAKER_04: I hope you uh go and purchase them and come on by and uh say hi.
- 1:15:12SPEAKER_04: I'd absolutely love to uh to see you.
- 1:15:14SPEAKER_04: We had a blast that came in last hour to 651-964-0294 here on the John Justice show, presented by American Experiment, talking about encouraging other Republicans, they were, uh to get out and vote and encourage others to get out and vote.
- 1:15:29SPEAKER_04: It just comes out to voter turnout.
- 1:15:30SPEAKER_04: I have this question that rolled in that I wanted to address.
- 1:15:33SPEAKER_04: Good morning, John.
- 1:15:34SPEAKER_24: See the blaster this morning.
- 1:15:36SPEAKER_24: We talked about Steve Simon, reminds me of what I've been thinking about.
- 1:15:40SPEAKER_24: Why do not the Republicans go after Steve Simon?
- 1:15:43SPEAKER_24: He is corrupt, he's demonstrated that, and the blaster pointed that out.
- 1:15:48SPEAKER_24: And I don't understand why the Republicans do not go after him harder.
- 1:15:52SPEAKER_24: He should be out.
- 1:15:53SPEAKER_24: He's a menace to the state and what he's what he's done with the with the mail and voyeur.
- 1:15:59SPEAKER_24: Everything he does in the Secretary of State office.
- 1:16:01SPEAKER_24: Thank you.
- 1:16:02SPEAKER_24: Have a good day.
- 1:16:02SPEAKER_04: Well, I I guess I would ask what rises to illegal behavior and criminal behavior.
- 1:16:10SPEAKER_04: I'm not saying that I disagree with you.
- 1:16:13SPEAKER_04: I think as a person, I think he is corrupt.
- 1:16:16SPEAKER_04: I think most of the DFL is corrupt.
- 1:16:19SPEAKER_04: The left is corrupt.
- 1:16:21SPEAKER_04: But unless you can point to actual illegal activity and not turning over voter rolls at the request of the administration, why while that might rise to that level, that's up for the administration to find out, and we know that they're pushing lawsuits against it.
- 1:16:41SPEAKER_04: So just an assumption, unfortunately, is not enough to hold somebody accountable.
- 1:16:46SPEAKER_04: And in the middle of an election cycle, you don't want to waste resources on a feudal effort.
- 1:16:55SPEAKER_04: Put your focusing on, if you are interested in having Steve Simon not, you know, be the Secretary of State, then focus your efforts on removing him during the election cycle.
- 1:17:06SPEAKER_04: Got a couple of comments that rolled in that I was unaware of.
- 1:17:08SPEAKER_04: I was talking a moment ago about USAID and what's been happening overseas with regard to elections post-USAID funding being turned off, and suddenly now conservative right candidates, right wing candidates, for lack of a better way to describe them, have been winning these elections.
- 1:17:24SPEAKER_32: Hi, John and Annie.
- 1:17:26SPEAKER_32: Um good thing like you.
- 1:17:27SPEAKER_32: I don't know if you heard the condition or not, but um Somalia now requires uh your picture ID for uh uh elections.
- 1:17:36SPEAKER_32: So you need a picture ID in Somalia now.
- 1:17:38SPEAKER_32: So create your own.
- 1:17:40SPEAKER_04: Yeah, you're not the only one to go in uh and mention this either.
- 1:17:43SPEAKER_04: Hey, good morning, John.
- 1:17:45SPEAKER_21: So I saw something uh pop up on X last night that Somalia is actually adding voter ID to their elections.
- 1:17:53SPEAKER_21: Well, if they can find IDs in Somalia, maybe we can have IDs in this country too.
- 1:17:59SPEAKER_21: That's a thought, right?
- 1:18:00SPEAKER_21: You know, that's an Democrats want integrity, they don't want you know Trump messing around.
- 1:18:10SPEAKER_04: No, you're not wrong, but you're dealing with a party that doesn't exercise common sense and rational thought and doesn't care about being hypocrites.
- 1:18:20SPEAKER_04: It just doesn't matter.
- 1:18:22SPEAKER_04: It doesn't matter when you have vilified and demonized your opponent to the to the level wherein you believe that they are truly evil incarnate, that is the left looking at the right, then justifications don't matter anymore.
- 1:18:42SPEAKER_04: I again look at the world that we live in where you have women openly supporting a mother who straight up just murdered her children.
- 1:18:51SPEAKER_04: And again, while it's nothing new, and neither, you know, is those on the left being hypocritical, but when you look at the standards, when you go on down the line, like justifying the murdering of children, you know, post-birth abortions for as horrible as it sounds, being way up on the list, you get down to voter ID and you expecting any level of consistency from a party that supports the other one at the top, yeah, and ends up making a real easy argument for somebody on the left to be a hypocrite regarding things like voter ID.
- 1:19:28SPEAKER_04: John Phelan writes this in the AmericanExperiment.org on the website.
- 1:19:34SPEAKER_04: This weekend, the Star Tribune carried an excellent report from Ryan Fairclough, which looked into detail about the Walls and Flanagan's administration's handling of the Minnesota epidemic of fraud.
- 1:19:43SPEAKER_04: It opens with Governor Tim Walls was finally taking decisive action.
- 1:19:48SPEAKER_04: It was the summer of 2025.
- 1:19:50SPEAKER_04: As my colleague Bill Glaun, who was on the show in the final half hour yesterday, if you missed that conversation, fantastic conversation talking about fraud with Bill.
- 1:20:00SPEAKER_04: He noted recently that in his in the five years after the Department of Education paused payments to Feeding Our Future and was being sued by them for doing so, taking the wave of fraud more broadly, Faircloth asks, why had it taken them so long to see it?
- 1:20:20SPEAKER_04: By then the warning signs have been accumulating for several years, Faircloth writes.
- 1:20:25SPEAKER_04: The Feeding Our Future scandal revealed that alleged fraudsters were involved in multiple taxpayer-funded programs.
- 1:20:31SPEAKER_04: State spending on autism services, housing assistance, and other Medicaid funded programs skyrocketed.
- 1:20:37SPEAKER_04: Providers were warning about potential abuse, yet no one at the top of the walls administration appeared to examine whether those red flags pointed to a broader problem.
- 1:20:47SPEAKER_04: Federal prosecutors ultimately sounded the alarm on what they described as a staggering industrial-scale fraud, eliminating billions of dollars that may have been stolen from more than a dozen Medicaid funded programs.
- 1:21:00SPEAKER_04: Faircloff goes on to say officials overlooked alarming spending growth in some programs, wrestled on whether to stop payments to known fraud defendants, bristled at fellow Democrats who voiced concerns and did not grasp the scandal's political significance until it became a major threat to Walls' reelection.
- 1:21:21SPEAKER_04: He's absolutely right.
- 1:21:23SPEAKER_04: This article, by the way, is akin to Governor Dim Walls allowing himself to fall on the sword.
- 1:21:31SPEAKER_04: I won't bury the lead on this.
- 1:21:33SPEAKER_04: I am convinced that the reason this article even exists, this expose exists, and the words by Ryan Faircloth, regardless of how excellent the reporting is, it was done, in my opinion, in my speculation, with the approval of Governor Dim Walls, for him to take the heat over this and maybe even some individuals to be fired in the wake of this, all to shield gubernatorial candidate Lamie Klobishar and Petty Flanagan, Senate candidate, from the level of scrutiny that they both deserve.
- 1:22:05SPEAKER_04: One for Klobuchar not doing anything about it with her position as a senator, and two, the fact that Peggy Flanagan was the lieutenant governor as all this was happening, and yet she's been avoiding the scrutiny of all of this.
- 1:22:19SPEAKER_04: The breakdown was compounded by the Walls leadership style.
- 1:22:23SPEAKER_04: Former aides and advisors to Walls, who were granted anonymity to speak candidly, described the governor who is heavily delegated to his commissioners and senior staff, rarely immersing himself in the details of the programs his administration oversaw.
- 1:22:37SPEAKER_04: Yet some of the governor's top advisors also appeared to be out of the loop at times.
- 1:22:41SPEAKER_04: And Walls did not take a substantially more direct role in the state's fraud response until 2025.
- 1:22:48SPEAKER_04: Of course, by then the billions of dollars, taxpayer dollars, have been ransacked through fraud.
- 1:22:53SPEAKER_04: The whole article is worth reading, John Phelan writes, for the light it sheds on a thoroughly dysfunctional administration.
- 1:23:01SPEAKER_04: And in my opinion, it was dysfunctional by choice.
- 1:23:05SPEAKER_04: Faircloth notes that the governor's office declined to make walls available for the interview, and the office did not respond to an extensive list of written questions and details from the Star Tribune's findings.
- 1:23:16SPEAKER_04: Of course it didn't.
- 1:23:18SPEAKER_04: It was probably part of the deal.
- 1:23:20SPEAKER_04: Steve Grove runs the Minnesota Star Tribune.
- 1:23:25SPEAKER_04: He is best buds with Governor Dim Walls, and I don't think for a second that this article wasn't written without approval.
- 1:23:34SPEAKER_04: And it's just more of Governor Walls saying, you know what?
- 1:23:38SPEAKER_04: Fine, I'll do my part.
- 1:23:40SPEAKER_04: The commie that I am to make sure that I shield my colleagues, my fellow DFLers from scrutiny, I'll take the fall for it.
- 1:23:49SPEAKER_04: The question is, what is he getting in return in the future?
- 1:23:52SPEAKER_04: If Clobuchar wins the cushy assignment within his within her administration.
- 1:23:59SPEAKER_04: Perhaps.
- 1:24:01SPEAKER_04: Maybe it also sheds light on, and we'll talk about this a little bit later on.
- 1:24:06SPEAKER_04: We have an update.
- 1:24:08SPEAKER_04: The free school meals program that's way over budget that Walls is saying.
- 1:24:14SPEAKER_04: The fact that it's blown beyond the millions upon millions in the projected dollars it's supposed to cost you, the taxpayer, me, and Devin and everybody else.
- 1:24:24SPEAKER_04: And now he says this is a good thing.
- 1:24:26SPEAKER_04: It shows that it's popular.
- 1:24:28SPEAKER_04: No, it's a further example of how Walls doesn't care to do any investigating regarding the free school meals program, just like he didn't give a rip when it came to the fraud that was being perpetuated.
- 1:24:39SPEAKER_04: To this point, follow-up in the Star Tribune today, Republican gubernatorial nominee Lisa Damath called for the firing of two Walls administration officials yesterday following this report from the Star Tribune.
- 1:24:50SPEAKER_04: In a news conference at the state capitol, we have some audio to uh share with you coming up in just a moment here on the uh on the show.
- 1:24:58SPEAKER_04: Damoth called for the immediate firing of the assistant state education commissioner, Darren Corte.
- 1:25:04SPEAKER_04: Not to be confused with Forte.
- 1:25:07unknown: Sorry.
- 1:25:08SPEAKER_04: Had to get that in there spelled the same, but just a K instead of an F.
- 1:25:11SPEAKER_04: And former Walls advisor Lee Montgomery, who is now the Deputy Commissioner of the Department of Children, Youth and Families.
- 1:25:16SPEAKER_04: Yeah, I would venture, I guess, those two individuals are probably going to get canned.
- 1:25:20SPEAKER_04: Because Amy Clobuchar is calling for the same thing.
- 1:25:23SPEAKER_04: Now, Damath faulted Forte for being aware of the irregularities with Feeding Our Future as early as 2020, failing to prevent the nonprofit from continuing to receive public money.
- 1:25:35SPEAKER_04: Astra Montgomery, Damath said that she should be ousted for previously referring to fraud as a Republican talking point with conversations to DFL legislators.
- 1:25:45SPEAKER_04: Now, in a statement on Monday, the Wall spokesperson said the governor installed new leadership at the Department of Homeland of Human Services and the Department of Education following the fraud scandals.
- 1:25:55SPEAKER_04: The former Human Services Director, Jody Harpstead, told congressional investigators she resigned voluntarily after telling Walls' office she did not have the fraud fighting background needed to lead a more aggressive response.
- 1:26:10SPEAKER_04: This is just a word salad with no substance.
- 1:26:14SPEAKER_04: You didn't need a fraud fighting background.
- 1:26:16SPEAKER_04: You just needed to identify the fraud, investigate it, stop it, and then prosecute it.
- 1:26:21SPEAKER_04: It's not that hard.
- 1:26:24SPEAKER_04: What she gave was just a straight-up excuse.
- 1:26:26SPEAKER_04: Oh, I just above my pay grade.
- 1:26:28SPEAKER_04: Sorry, guys.
- 1:26:30SPEAKER_04: Corte and Montgomery declined to uh comment through the governor's office.
- 1:26:34SPEAKER_04: Klobichar also weighed into the Star Tribune's report saying, This is why I've made clear on day one that I will launch a top-to-bottom audit of the state government to root out fraud, replace decades old technology to stop fraud before it happens, and strengthen criminal penalties to make sure people who commit fraud go to jail, Klobichar said.
- 1:26:51SPEAKER_04: If she meant any of that, she would have a press conference today.
- 1:26:56SPEAKER_04: No, let me rephrase.
- 1:26:57SPEAKER_04: She would have a press conference yesterday or the day before or weeks before when she started making these claims with Governor Tim Walls announcing that that's exactly what they're going to do right now, and then say, and I will continue to do this as governor of Minnesota.
- 1:27:13SPEAKER_04: That's what a real leader would do.
- 1:27:16SPEAKER_04: This is akin to what other individuals were saying, and this is the reality of what other people were saying.
- 1:27:23SPEAKER_04: President Donald Trump and his$5,000 dividend check was a bribe.
- 1:27:27SPEAKER_04: No, this is the bribe.
- 1:27:29SPEAKER_04: Hey, vote for me and I'll do all this stuff for fraud guys, but you got to vote me into office first.
- 1:27:33SPEAKER_04: Even though Lisa Damath is saying that she's going to do something about it too.
- 1:27:37SPEAKER_04: The difference is Lisa Damath was already calling to do something about it in her role in the legislature, while Lammy Klobuchar issued dozens upon dozens of memos and never mentioned the fraud.
- 1:27:51SPEAKER_04: She says, I will not wait to take action.
- 1:27:53SPEAKER_04: This is Klobuchar.
- 1:27:55SPEAKER_04: And that includes firing people who were in charge and failed to stop the fraud and replacing them with new legal.
- 1:28:00SPEAKER_04: Leadership that will deliver results.
- 1:28:01SPEAKER_04: You could pick up the phone today and talk to Walls and have him do that.
- 1:28:07SPEAKER_04: For the sake of the taxpayer of Minnesota, do the right thing, Governor, and take care of these individuals, fire them and do an audit right now.
- 1:28:18SPEAKER_04: It would actually be benefit.
- 1:28:20SPEAKER_04: Like I'm almost, I don't even want to say it out loud.
- 1:28:22SPEAKER_04: I'm going to, because it would be beneficial to them in the election.
- 1:28:26SPEAKER_04: Oh, instead this up.
- 1:28:27SPEAKER_04: Nope, you gotta wait till I get in office, everybody.
- 1:28:29SPEAKER_04: Because I don't want to be too closely aligned with Governor Dim Walls because he's kind of toxic.
- 1:28:33SPEAKER_04: But at the same time, I also want to make sure that I'll let you know that I'll take care of the fraud, even though he hasn't, even though I could encourage him to do it now.
- 1:28:42SPEAKER_04: Clobichar noted in uh that her fraud fighting plan has been endorsed by U.S.
- 1:28:47SPEAKER_04: attorney uh of uh Minnesota, Andy Luger.
- 1:28:51SPEAKER_04: That's great.
- 1:28:52SPEAKER_04: Damath has argued that Klobichar was mostly silent about the state's fraud scandal until she launched her campaign for governor.
- 1:28:59SPEAKER_04: And as I said before, in my opinion, this is all a setup.
- 1:29:02SPEAKER_04: People will more than likely be fired.
- 1:29:05SPEAKER_04: That's my guess in the wake of all of this.
- 1:29:08SPEAKER_04: But only, as I said, to provide cover for Klobichar and for Peggy Flanagan.
- 1:29:14SPEAKER_04: All right, here was uh some of uh Lisa Damas' comments yesterday talking about this uh expose, this fraud expose, exposing Governor Dimwalls' failures.
- 1:29:25SPEAKER_04: Um, and again, this took place yesterday at a press conference at the state capitol.
- 1:29:29SPEAKER_31: In the story and also revealed through the fraud committee that I established, we have seen that reports that lower-level staff are sometimes afraid to act or speak up.
- 1:29:40SPEAKER_31: Amy Cloverstar has already demonstrated an abusive leadership style towards them.
- 1:29:46SPEAKER_31: If we're actually going to end the fraud here in Minnesota, we need all government employees to feel free to say something if they see something.
- 1:29:58SPEAKER_31: When I think governor, Minnesota will not see the same type of toxic leadership stories that we've seen so many times regarding Senator Close.
- 1:30:08SPEAKER_31: There were a number of things that we passed in the legislature as I have served as Speaker of the House.
- 1:30:12SPEAKER_31: One of them is additional, additional whistleblower protections.
- 1:30:17SPEAKER_31: Again, employees of our state need to feel free to speak up if they see something.
- 1:30:32SPEAKER_21: And remember when Kristen Robbins and the Minnesota Fraud Oversight Committee were out there doing hearings in Washington, and they had Walls and Allison.
- 1:30:41SPEAKER_21: Out of curiosity, wouldn't our senators just happen to wander down to hear what those hearings are?
- 1:30:47SPEAKER_21: You know, you got the governor and the attorney general in the building.
- 1:30:51SPEAKER_21: Maybe uh elected state officials from Minnesota could be curious about the fraud oversight committee hearings about Minnesota in Washington.
- 1:31:00SPEAKER_21: Crazy.
- 1:31:01SPEAKER_21: Wow.
- 1:31:03SPEAKER_04: Thank you for the blast to the blaster line at 651-964-0294.
- 1:31:09SPEAKER_04: I have uh a little more than I want to share from uh Lisa Damath here in just a moment uh on the show.
- 1:31:16SPEAKER_04: Since we were talking, though, about the Star Tribune, plans to convert the former Star Tribune printing plan to into a data center in the North Loop neighborhood of Minneapolis have been scrapped, according to sources of care 11.
- 1:31:30SPEAKER_04: The Virginia-based legacy investing had initially agreed to convert a 13-acre site, a 571,000 square foot facility into a data center, and mixed-use development, including housing and retail.
- 1:31:44SPEAKER_04: You have businesses like Summit Brewery shutting down for no other reason than businesses are dying in Minneapolis.
- 1:31:52SPEAKER_04: There's way less to do about the craft brew industry and way more to do about the economic climate, the negative economic climate going on in Minneapolis right now.
- 1:32:02SPEAKER_04: And here you have a company that wants to come in, take a massive building that's vacant right now, and go turn it into a data center.
- 1:32:14SPEAKER_04: You know, Trump has been saying whoever wins uh AI wins.
- 1:32:18SPEAKER_04: We'll talk with David, Gartenstein, Ross tomorrow on the show at 6 30 with an AI update.
- 1:32:22SPEAKER_04: Really looking forward to that conversation.
- 1:32:24SPEAKER_04: Make sure that you're around for it.
- 1:32:26SPEAKER_04: Also, including housing and retail, and they said, nah, we're good.
- 1:32:30SPEAKER_04: Because, you know, we've been told, you know, online that the data centers are horrible and awful and we shouldn't support them.
- 1:32:37SPEAKER_04: And I agree with everything that I see online.
- 1:32:41SPEAKER_04: That's not a hard stance on data centers, either way.
- 1:32:44SPEAKER_04: I think data centers are good.
- 1:32:45SPEAKER_04: It just depends on where they're located at.
- 1:32:47SPEAKER_04: This location would have been perfect.
- 1:32:50SPEAKER_04: North Loop Neighborhood Association about the description, the decision to scrap the project, says, We're surprised and relieved.
- 1:32:56SPEAKER_04: We hope that in the next potential buyer plans will benefit the people who live in the neighborhood.
- 1:33:03SPEAKER_04: Yeah, enjoy your abandoned building.
- 1:33:04SPEAKER_04: Great for squatters and drug users.
- 1:33:07SPEAKER_04: Maybe they can turn it into a bathhouse.
- 1:33:12SPEAKER_04: There you go.
- 1:33:14SPEAKER_04: A local builders' union said the city needs to find a way to remain open to development while protecting its residents.
- 1:33:20SPEAKER_04: The decision to abandon this proposed investment should concern anyone who cares about Minneapolis and its economic future.
- 1:33:26SPEAKER_04: That's according to Dan McConnell, a business manager for the Minneapolis Building and Construction Trades Council.
- 1:33:31SPEAKER_04: You know, this is an individual who actually knows what he's talking about, as opposed to a bunch of hacktivists that sit on the neighborhood association boards or the Minneapolis City Council.
- 1:33:43SPEAKER_04: He says residents have a right to ask serious questions about energy use, water and noise, neighborhood impact, and whether a development will genuinely benefit the community.
- 1:33:51SPEAKER_04: Those concerns deserve thoughtful answers and strong standards.
- 1:33:54SPEAKER_04: But many uh Minneapolis must also be able to have constructive conversations with developers before projects.
- 1:34:00SPEAKER_04: And the jobs, the tax revenue and investment associated with them, or they'll simply disappear.
- 1:34:06SPEAKER_04: He's right.
- 1:34:07SPEAKER_04: In the meantime, you have the city of Minneapolis looking to regulate autonomous vehicles.
- 1:34:12SPEAKER_04: You know what their solution is?
- 1:34:13SPEAKER_04: To put somebody in the car.
- 1:34:19SPEAKER_04: That defeats the purpose.
- 1:34:21SPEAKER_04: It's because they're catering to the lobbying groups who are running rideshare programs and taxis who are concerned about the new innovations.
- 1:34:29SPEAKER_04: It's completely short-sighted.
- 1:34:32SPEAKER_04: But I expect nothing from a bunch of hacktivists.
- 1:34:36SPEAKER_04: So again, enjoy your abandoned building.
- 1:34:39SPEAKER_04: I'm sure if it's not graffitied already and the windows aren't already knocked out, it will be soon.
- 1:34:43SPEAKER_04: All right, coming up, more of your thoughts.
- 1:34:46SPEAKER_04: Plus, ICE investigating representative Ilhan Omar.
- 1:34:50SPEAKER_04: Yes, you heard that correctly.
- 1:34:51SPEAKER_04: I had a comment that rolled in and says the information that Ilhan Omar married her brother has been around for 10 years.
- 1:34:56SPEAKER_04: It's all bread and circuses.
- 1:34:58SPEAKER_04: They aren't going to do anything about it.
- 1:34:59SPEAKER_04: Okay, maybe.
- 1:35:01SPEAKER_04: You're right.
- 1:35:02SPEAKER_04: It has been around for a long, long time.
- 1:35:03SPEAKER_04: I've said as much here on the show.
- 1:35:05SPEAKER_04: We've talked about it as much here on the show.
- 1:35:07SPEAKER_04: But there seems to be at this point in time more smoke coming from the fire than there has in the past.
- 1:35:15SPEAKER_04: So I want to raise the question coming up as well, whether or not if they are actually going to finally try to hold Representative Ilhan Omar accountable for marrying her brother and potentially committing immigration fraud.
- 1:35:29SPEAKER_04: Okay.
- 1:35:31SPEAKER_04: Should it be done now before the election or after the midterm election?
- 1:35:34SPEAKER_04: So we'll get into that coming up in just a moment here on the John Justice show.
- 1:35:38SPEAKER_04: If you've gone through the yo-yo dieting before in the past, you can stop that today by making one simple phone call and getting an almost$300 value in the process.
- 1:35:49SPEAKER_04: The$300 value is a truth metabolic scan.
- 1:35:52SPEAKER_04: Completely simple.
- 1:35:55SPEAKER_04: It's really easy.
- 1:35:56SPEAKER_04: Comprehensive.
- 1:35:57SPEAKER_04: It gives you a good look, a comprehensive look at what your body's current makeup is to make sure that the program with Neutrowave is going to benefit you exactly the way that it should.
- 1:36:09SPEAKER_04: Plus, it includes a free red light therapy session on the spot effectiveness.
- 1:36:13SPEAKER_04: I've done both of these.
- 1:36:14SPEAKER_04: Spots are limited every single week, and this$300 value is yours just for calling and finding out what the NeutralWave program is all about.
- 1:36:23SPEAKER_04: The website is N-U-T-R-I-W-A-V-E.us.
- 1:36:26SPEAKER_04: And I think I failed to mention this when I brought it up the last time.
- 1:36:29SPEAKER_04: But I'm going to be talking with Dr.
- 1:36:31SPEAKER_04: Bob later on this week in a post-show podcast, talking not just about the program, but his thoughts on the Maha movement.
- 1:36:37SPEAKER_04: A lot of praise coming out of the midterm RNC that took place last week over the comments that RFK Jr.
- 1:36:46SPEAKER_04: made regarding Maha, one of the most praised speeches of the night.
- 1:36:50SPEAKER_04: So we'll talk with Dr.
- 1:36:51SPEAKER_04: Bob about this.
- 1:36:52SPEAKER_04: It'll be available to you, if not the end of this week, the beginning of next week.
- 1:36:55SPEAKER_04: But call Dr.
- 1:36:56SPEAKER_04: Bob today.
- 1:36:57SPEAKER_04: If you're tired of the yo-yo dieting and want to do one of the best things that you can do when it comes to your health, and that is drop the weight, this is the program that's going to help you do that.
- 1:37:07SPEAKER_04: 952-260-1965.
- 1:37:11SPEAKER_04: No pills, no shots with Nutrowave, and individual results may vary.
- 1:37:14SPEAKER_04: Again, 952-260-1965 for NeutroWave.
- 1:37:21SPEAKER_04: Check out this program today.
- 1:37:23SPEAKER_04: Trust me, if you're tired of going through the yo-yo dieting, this is absolutely the fix that you have been looking for.
- 1:37:31SPEAKER_04: Again, 952-260-1965.
- 1:37:34SPEAKER_04: That's 952-260-1965.
- 1:37:38SPEAKER_04: We'll get some more of your comments coming up in just a moment and whether or not this investigation into Ilhan Omar and potential election fraud is actually going to stick.
- 1:37:47SPEAKER_04: It's coming up here on the John Justice Show.
- 1:37:50SPEAKER_04: Don't go anywhere.
- 1:37:51SPEAKER_04: In the meantime, let me share with you further thoughts from uh Lisa Damuth as we take a quick break here on the show.
- 1:37:56SPEAKER_41: Think about it.
- 1:37:57SPEAKER_41: A famous politician once said, You're entitled to your opinion, but you are not entitled to your own facts.
- 1:38:03SPEAKER_41: But in a world full of AI and fake news, where can Minnesotans find the facts?
- 1:38:08SPEAKER_41: Center of the American Experiment is Minnesota's go-to source for fact-based analysis and common sense solutions for taxes, energy, public safety, and our kids' education.
- 1:38:18SPEAKER_41: Visit AmericanExperiment.org for more information.
- 1:38:22SPEAKER_41: Think about it is brought to you by Center of the American Experiment, Minnesota's think tank.
- 1:38:26SPEAKER_04: Gubernatorial candidate Lisa Damath was on the show recently talking about paid family medical leave.
- 1:38:33SPEAKER_04: Here's that commentary.
- 1:38:34SPEAKER_31: We were looking at trying to modernize our IT systems within our social services program.
- 1:38:40SPEAKER_31: So for your listeners, the way this works is programs when people are applying for SNAP and some of those other things.
- 1:38:46SPEAKER_31: The counties administer those programs that are state required.
- 1:38:51SPEAKER_31: The IT systems, the computer systems that these counties are working on are 30 plus years old.
- 1:38:57SPEAKER_31: So if you remember back with me, green screens, spinning dials, delay after delay.
- 1:39:04SPEAKER_31: This is something that with an$18 billion surplus, those IT systems that are required by the state absolutely should have been updated back then.
- 1:39:13SPEAKER_31: Democrat Control said, we're not going to do it.
- 1:39:16SPEAKER_31: We were able to infuse some dollars this last year into the modernization, uh the SSIS modernization.
- 1:39:24SPEAKER_31: And I give a lot of credit to Representative Paul Torkelson, who has fought this battle for years, and we were in the same room with the governor and other leaders saying this has to get done.
- 1:39:34SPEAKER_31: When I found out about the$70 million, because it was originally for IT in the paid family medical leave, and we're looking at another IT program, I said, why don't we take that$70 million and infuse it over here where we need to fix into the modernization?
- 1:39:51SPEAKER_31: IT, IT, state level, it made sense.
- 1:39:54SPEAKER_31: I was told, no, we're gonna need that for the paid family medical leave.
- 1:39:58SPEAKER_31: That way we don't have to raise taxes as fast.
- 1:40:01SPEAKER_04: What uh would you do?
- 1:40:03SPEAKER_04: What can you do about paid family medical leave moving forward?
- 1:40:09SPEAKER_31: Well, we're not, you know, we wanted it gone, we wanted it um in the beginning where it would have been limited to the size of business, or it could have even been an opt-in.
- 1:40:18SPEAKER_31: Ideally, it should have been a private market and a credit potentially given for businesses.
- 1:40:23SPEAKER_31: Can't go back that far.
- 1:40:24SPEAKER_31: What we can do is tighten the requirements, tighten the, you know, you're hearing, starting to hear about that potential fraud or loopholes or people misusing the program.
- 1:40:34SPEAKER_31: Those need to be tightened immediately, and then it's going to take changes by the legislature and a motivated governor to watch those programs change.
- 1:40:43SPEAKER_31: It should be still a potential opt-in.
- 1:40:45SPEAKER_31: We should not be doing this for seasonal workers.
- 1:40:48SPEAKER_31: Our schools are struggling under this because of both the cost and backfilling those positions.
- 1:40:55SPEAKER_31: So there's many things that we're gonna need to look at, but changes to paid family medical leave, still taking good care of employees, but allowing more flexibility for employers is what we absolutely need to do.
- 1:41:07SPEAKER_04: It's John Justice, and be honest, your old self would be disappointed in you right now.
- 1:41:11SPEAKER_04: That was certainly the case for me.
- 1:41:13SPEAKER_04: And then I found the Neutrowave program.
- 1:41:16SPEAKER_04: You used to own the room, now you don't anymore.
- 1:41:19SPEAKER_04: Let's change that starting right now.
- 1:41:21SPEAKER_04: With no pills and no shots, Neutrowave, over 13 years, has helped thousands of men and women lose the weight and keep it off for good.
- 1:41:30SPEAKER_04: I've lost 25 pounds on this amazing program, and I cannot say enough good things about NeutroWave.
- 1:41:37SPEAKER_04: It all starts with a free truth metabolic scan plus a free red light therapy session.
- 1:41:42SPEAKER_04: You've got nothing to lose and everything to gain except all the weight.
- 1:41:46SPEAKER_04: Spots are limited and they go fast.
- 1:41:48SPEAKER_04: Call today at 952-260-1965.
- 1:41:53SPEAKER_04: Mention the word strike.
- 1:41:54SPEAKER_04: Again, 952-260-1965 and mention the word strike, and that almost$300 value is yours absolutely free.
- 1:42:04SPEAKER_04: No pills, no shots, Neutrowave at N U-T-R-I-W-A-V-E.us.
- 1:42:10SPEAKER_04: Proud sponsor here of the John Justice Show.

- 1:43:38SPEAKER_04: That's minileaf.com.
- 1:43:40SPEAKER_13: Morning, John.
- 1:43:41SPEAKER_13: While I agree that some people may get fired, some others may resign.
- 1:43:46SPEAKER_13: But as I've said many times, the Dems just play musical chairs.
- 1:43:51SPEAKER_13: The uh when the music stops, no one removes the chair.
- 1:43:55SPEAKER_13: They just get moved to a different job in the administration.
- 1:43:58SPEAKER_13: It's been happening for decades with the Dems.
- 1:44:01SPEAKER_04: Yeah, that might be the case.
- 1:44:03SPEAKER_04: Um but at the same time, you still got to do what you can to hold people accountable, regardless of what the reaction is going to be from those surrounding those who are held uh accountable.
- 1:44:15SPEAKER_04: But thank you uh for the comment.
- 1:44:16SPEAKER_04: Again, 651-964-0294.
- 1:44:19SPEAKER_17: Morning John Alex Self River.
- 1:44:21SPEAKER_17: Um did you hear anything about uh Clobishar throwing staplers at uh people?
- 1:44:28SPEAKER_17: There's something on X about um some whistleblower came forward and said that uh she liked to throw staplers for some reason.
- 1:44:38SPEAKER_17: I wonder if you heard anything about that.
- 1:44:40SPEAKER_17: Have a good day.
- 1:44:41SPEAKER_04: I have not.
- 1:44:42SPEAKER_04: I'm gonna have to look that up when I get a chance.
- 1:44:45SPEAKER_04: That would hurt.
- 1:44:46SPEAKER_04: Like imagine this thing getting hurled at you.
- 1:44:48SPEAKER_04: That would suck.
- 1:44:50SPEAKER_04: I know combs and salads, I know that story.
- 1:44:53SPEAKER_04: I have not heard about the staple.
- 1:44:55SPEAKER_04: So I can't help but do the guy from the office space.
- 1:45:01SPEAKER_04: Uh let's go here.
- 1:45:02SPEAKER_33: Hey John, just a comment about Amy Clovishar, you know.
- 1:45:06SPEAKER_33: There's a million reasons why I wouldn't vote for her, but the one that drives me the craziest is every time I see her, she looks like she got dressed with the lights off at a cold dressing room.
- 1:45:18SPEAKER_33: I mean, does she not have a stylist?
- 1:45:19SPEAKER_33: Does she not have anybody that can sit her down and say, You're the frumpy, dumpiest, looking politician that's out there and you don't look credible.
- 1:45:28SPEAKER_33: Um I can't stand it.
- 1:45:30SPEAKER_04: So Dustin Gragey, who apparently uh also has the uh stapler story.
- 1:45:39SPEAKER_04: I have to go look at his account.
- 1:45:40SPEAKER_04: I'm on X right now, so just bear with me for a moment.
- 1:45:43SPEAKER_04: He posted this yesterday.
- 1:45:46SPEAKER_04: And it it may seem innocuous and irrelevant to most people.
- 1:45:50SPEAKER_04: It wasn't to me.
- 1:45:53SPEAKER_04: So Dustin posted again at Greg E Dustin, G-R-A-G-E Dustin.
- 1:45:59SPEAKER_04: Uh it's if you're not f if you're on X and not following Dustin, I can't help you.
- 1:46:03SPEAKER_04: It's a great great account to follow.
- 1:46:05SPEAKER_04: Amy Clobichar has now used the exact same photo to ring in the Viking season opener four years in a row.
- 1:46:15SPEAKER_04: I'm looking at the photographs right here.
- 1:46:16SPEAKER_04: As a matter of fact, let me let me bring it up so I can read.
- 1:46:20SPEAKER_04: I want to read to you what she's written every single time she's posted this.
- 1:46:25SPEAKER_04: So we have game day against the Packers.
- 1:46:27SPEAKER_04: Time to get out the shirt.
- 1:46:29SPEAKER_04: And it's Amy standing in front of a brick building.
- 1:46:33SPEAKER_04: Yes, Vikings, odds were against them.
- 1:46:35SPEAKER_04: This is 2005.
- 1:46:36SPEAKER_04: Odds were against them this week, but JJ McCarthy is back, and we're optimistic since 19 more optimistic than 1961.
- 1:46:44SPEAKER_04: So this the first one was this year, that was last year.
- 1:46:47SPEAKER_04: 2024, optimistic since 1961, big Vikings game.
- 1:46:52SPEAKER_04: And then the Lynx final game tonight.
- 1:46:54SPEAKER_04: I'm in for two wins.
- 1:46:56SPEAKER_04: Same photograph.
- 1:46:57SPEAKER_04: Get it ready to watch the Vikings game.
- 1:46:59SPEAKER_04: As the shirt says, Optimistic since 1961.
- 1:47:02SPEAKER_04: It's the same picture.
- 1:47:04SPEAKER_04: And I know most people would kind of just blow that off, but it's so lazy and trite to do.
- 1:47:12SPEAKER_04: Now, giving a little bit of a free pass on this, I doubt that Amy Clobishar is the one actually posting this.
- 1:47:18SPEAKER_04: She probably has a handler.
- 1:47:21SPEAKER_04: But you couldn't take another picture with the same shirt in a different location.
- 1:47:26SPEAKER_04: It just shows how fake all of it is.
- 1:47:31SPEAKER_04: Alright, I'll have to do some digging on um Dustin's feed.
- 1:47:36SPEAKER_04: Because if somebody uh wants to send it to me as I scroll live on the air, I'm not seeing the uh I'm not seeing the stapler story.
- 1:47:43SPEAKER_04: So I would be uh I would be curious to check that out.
- 1:47:46SPEAKER_04: So if somebody wants to forward that to me, please do.
- 1:47:48SPEAKER_04: Just because I don't want to do a live online search.
- 1:47:50SPEAKER_04: And if uh producer Devin, if you want to take a look at his account, if you find it and you want to text it over to me, go for it.
- 1:47:56SPEAKER_04: Greggy G-R-A-G-E Dustin at Greg E Dustin.
- 1:47:59SPEAKER_04: You can go and check it out there.
- 1:48:00SPEAKER_03: All right.
- 1:48:01SPEAKER_03: Uh let's uh let's go here.
- 1:48:07SPEAKER_16: Good morning, John.
- 1:48:07SPEAKER_16: Just as I've been watching Ted Lasso.
- 1:48:12SPEAKER_04: Me too, by the way.
- 1:48:13SPEAKER_04: I know some have been down on this season of Ted Lasso.
- 1:48:16SPEAKER_04: It's been great.
- 1:48:17SPEAKER_16: I've really enjoyed it.
- 1:48:18SPEAKER_04: My wife has too.
- 1:48:19SPEAKER_16: Sure.
- 1:48:20SPEAKER_16: And I couldn't get it out of my head when they went when they didn't do Amy Cobajar, like the doot do do do do do, and I was just laughing because of the what you have for Amy Cobajar.
- 1:48:35SPEAKER_16: So I guess I came from that show.
- 1:48:37SPEAKER_16: I don't know.
- 1:48:39SPEAKER_04: You can tell me, but I think he's referring to the to the baby shark Amy Klobuchar song, which I do have in my possession, but I don't have it loaded.
- 1:48:47SPEAKER_04: So my apologies for those that that's not usually a popular one for most people, by the way.
- 1:48:54SPEAKER_04: I was able to get the majority of my need to talk to.
- 1:48:59SPEAKER_04: I just haven't had a chance to go and uh and upload uh that one, uh that one yet.
- 1:49:05SPEAKER_04: All right.
- 1:49:05SPEAKER_04: Homeland Security Investigations.
- 1:49:08SPEAKER_04: Conducting an investigation into Representative Ilhan Omar over allegations of uh immigration fraud.
- 1:49:14SPEAKER_04: This is according to White House Border Czar Tom Homan on uh Sunday.
- 1:49:19SPEAKER_04: I got a couple of audio clips to share.
- 1:49:20SPEAKER_04: We will start with uh this one.
- 1:49:22SPEAKER_44: Well, I'm not gonna comment on an ongoing criminal investigation.
- 1:49:26SPEAKER_44: I know things are going on, uh, but I can't give specifics uh on of what's happening.
- 1:49:31SPEAKER_44: But uh no, we'll see.
- 1:49:33SPEAKER_44: I mean, um if someone committed immigration violation, if someone committed marriage promoter or anything like that, we can hear it if there are Congress women.
- 1:49:41SPEAKER_44: Um's above them up.
- 1:49:42SPEAKER_44: So um I'm leaving it then, we'll let the um um HSI, Homemade Security Investigations and uh continue the investigation.
- 1:49:51SPEAKER_42: Okay, so you're confirming that there is an investigation into Congresswoman at Homework?
- 1:49:57SPEAKER_44: I'm confirming that I see uh Yeah, I'd like I said months ago, that is something that's been reported and it needs to be looked at.
- 1:50:04SPEAKER_04: Okay.
- 1:50:06SPEAKER_04: All right.
- 1:50:06SPEAKER_04: I want to get into more of this in just a moment because I have further uh audio to share.
- 1:50:12SPEAKER_04: Uh Brett Baer uh talking about this issue.
- 1:50:15SPEAKER_04: Also, uh Newsmax had a bit of a round table.
- 1:50:18SPEAKER_04: I'll share with you some uh a few minutes from it of individuals uh talking about the potential of an Amy Klobinchar investigation.
- 1:50:25SPEAKER_04: Before I do that, though, I did have a uh foe of the show.
- 1:50:28SPEAKER_04: Uh Mildred has uh left us a uh blast uh this morning.
- 1:50:33SPEAKER_04: And uh yeah, we're gonna have some fun with this one.
- 1:50:36SPEAKER_23: Tell me Lisa Damath has nothing to run on without telling me Lisa Damath has nothing to run on.
- 1:50:41SPEAKER_23: You guys are going after Amy Klobinchar for wearing the same shirt.
- 1:50:45SPEAKER_23: I don't know what this campaign strategy is, but uh you guys are blowing it again.
- 1:50:52SPEAKER_04: So let me let me let me stop here really quick.
- 1:50:58SPEAKER_04: You can't get much more stupid than that commentary right there.
- 1:51:06SPEAKER_04: So playing the game that Mildred is playing here on the blast, okay, tell me you have little to complain about with the logic and common sense and rational commentary that I've been presenting on the show without telling me that you have little to complain about regarding the common sense and rational commentary I've been providing on the show.
- 1:51:30SPEAKER_04: I'm not a part of Lisa Damath's campaign.
- 1:51:34SPEAKER_04: I'm John Justice, talk show host for Center of the American Experiment.
- 1:51:39SPEAKER_04: I don't work with her campaign, I'm not paid for her campaign.
- 1:51:43SPEAKER_04: I haven't even said who I'm voting for on the show.
- 1:51:46SPEAKER_04: I'm doing commentary.
- 1:51:49SPEAKER_04: Lisa Damath is not out there talking about Amy Klobischstar shirt.
- 1:51:53SPEAKER_04: I was on my show, and I'm not running for office.
- 1:51:57SPEAKER_04: And it was just an observation like we do every single day, and then we move on.
- 1:52:02SPEAKER_04: But I'm glad that I must be firing on all cylinders this morning if this is the pretzel logic that irrational leftists like Mildred have to deploy to try to criticize individuals like Lisa Damath or myself.
- 1:52:20SPEAKER_04: Oh, but wait, there's more.
- 1:52:22SPEAKER_23: This is an Alex Predict got shot in the spine ten times kind of election, not a look, guys, Amy wore the same shirt.
- 1:52:32SPEAKER_04: And still can't let it go.
- 1:52:34SPEAKER_04: Damoth didn't say anything about that.
- 1:52:37SPEAKER_04: I did.
- 1:52:39SPEAKER_04: One's got nothing to do with the with the other, even though they're all circling within the same conversation.
- 1:52:44SPEAKER_23: Oh, but there's more election.
- 1:52:46SPEAKER_23: I don't know why you guys are wasting time on this.
- 1:52:49SPEAKER_04: Amy's because I'm a talk show and it's funny and it's relevant when we're talking about the election, that the DFL candidate, in my opinion, is so lazy that her campaign staffers can't even bother to get an updated shirt to promote the Vikings and the new season kicking off that they have to use the same damn one every single year.
- 1:53:12SPEAKER_04: I think it's funny.
- 1:53:13SPEAKER_04: We talk about funny stuff.
- 1:53:15SPEAKER_04: I was talking about Luigi Mangioni before.
- 1:53:17SPEAKER_04: We talk movies all the time.
- 1:53:18SPEAKER_04: You're gonna start combining that too?
- 1:53:20SPEAKER_04: Oh, you guys are talking about the new Supergirl movie.
- 1:53:23SPEAKER_04: Is this the new campaign stance for Lisa Damuth now?
- 1:53:27SPEAKER_04: Oh, but wait, there's more.
- 1:53:28SPEAKER_23: More relatable than Lisa will ever be.
- 1:53:30SPEAKER_23: That's why she's hiding behind Ryan Wilson.
- 1:53:33SPEAKER_23: And you guys are running on no policies, but hey, she wore the same shirt, guys.
- 1:53:39SPEAKER_23: Come on.
- 1:53:41SPEAKER_04: I must be doing an amazing job on the show this morning.
- 1:53:44SPEAKER_04: Thank you, Mildred, for pointing that out.
- 1:53:46SPEAKER_04: If that's all that you have is to complain that I mentioned Lamie Clobusar's shirt and then attempt to go and create some sort of argument that this is a campaign stance or an attack by Lisa Damath.
- 1:53:59SPEAKER_04: Wow.
- 1:54:02SPEAKER_04: Listen with better ears than that.
- 1:54:04SPEAKER_04: All right, while your comments continue to roll in, I want to get to a few of these.
- 1:54:08SPEAKER_04: Let me play for you this clip from Fox News, Brett Baer, talking further about this potential criminal investigation into Representative Ilhan Omar.
- 1:54:19SPEAKER_04: And again, this is information that we've known about.
- 1:54:21SPEAKER_04: It's like the worst kept secret in Minnesota.
- 1:54:22SPEAKER_04: The question has always been whether or not something was going to get done about it.
- 1:54:26SPEAKER_04: If it rose to enough evidence leading to potentially a criminal prosecution or even her, you know, being deported.
- 1:54:44SPEAKER_44: If someone committed immigration violation, if someone committed marriage fraud or anything like that, regardless if they're a congressman or not.
- 1:54:52SPEAKER_44: Uh no one's above the law.
- 1:54:53SPEAKER_38: When pressed on whether the federal government possesses evidence of Omar's alleged immigration fraud, Homan declined to comment.
- 1:55:12SPEAKER_38: Republicans have long claimed he is her brother, and she married him as part of an immigration scheme, though she has never been formally charged.
- 1:55:20SPEAKER_38: Omar denies the charge, which is not proven in available public records.
- 1:55:24SPEAKER_38: In December, she dismissed the claims as, quote, bigoted lies, and said President Trump is obsessed with her.
- 1:55:31SPEAKER_38: It's time for us to impeach this cabinet.
- 1:55:34SPEAKER_38: Other cabinet officials have taken the accusations against her even further.
- 1:55:39SPEAKER_05: We know that she married her brother.
- 1:56:01SPEAKER_02: You read the things about Ilan Omar and about, you know, who she married and whether she didn't marry this person or that person.
- 1:56:28SPEAKER_38: Brett?
- 1:56:28SPEAKER_29: Julian Turner, live at the State Department.
- 1:56:30SPEAKER_29: Gillian, thank you.
- 1:56:32SPEAKER_04: The Trump administration has launched a broader effort to denaturalize foreign born individuals accused of fraud as part of the immigration process.
- 1:56:43SPEAKER_04: In May, Vice President J.D.
- 1:56:44SPEAKER_04: Vance said the Justice Department was actively investigating Omar over the fraud claims.
- 1:56:49SPEAKER_04: Now, Omar, for those that want a little backstory on this, born in Somalia, arrived in the United States in 1995 as a refugee before securing her citizenship in 2000 at 17 years old.
- 1:57:00SPEAKER_04: And there is some speculation as well and controversy surrounding um whether or not she may have lied about her age, too.
- 1:57:07SPEAKER_04: That's been a part of this controversy for the longest time.
- 1:57:10SPEAKER_04: In 2009, she married a British citizen, Ahmed Nuar said Elmy, who and had some allege being her biological brother.
- 1:57:20SPEAKER_04: The couple reportedly separated in 2011, formerly divorced in 2017.
- 1:57:25SPEAKER_04: It was Omar's second marriage in 2022.
- 1:57:28SPEAKER_04: Omar married Ahmed Hershey in a religious ceremony, but the union was never legally recognized.
- 1:57:36SPEAKER_04: Omar has said that she split from Hershey in 2008.
- 1:57:40SPEAKER_04: Just months after her separation from Elmy, Omar and Hershey reconciled.
- 1:57:45SPEAKER_04: Omar has, of course, denied the allegations that she married her brother, calling them absurd and offensive.
- 1:57:51SPEAKER_04: Senator Tommy Tuberville called for the deportation of Representative Ilhan Omar overnight, accusing her of being a fraud and claiming that she hates America.
- 1:58:02SPEAKER_04: Toberville.
- 1:58:02SPEAKER_04: Or is it Tuberville?
- 1:58:03SPEAKER_04: I always forget.
- 1:58:06SPEAKER_04: I feel like whichever way I say it, it's the wrong way.
- 1:58:10SPEAKER_04: Anyway, the senator.
- 1:58:12SPEAKER_04: Cite of the ongoing investigation into Omar's immigration history, including allegations of marrying her brother, which Omar has denied.
- 1:58:19SPEAKER_04: However, deportation of a natural citizen like Omar is complex and requires a legal process.
- 1:58:25SPEAKER_04: You know, here's a question that I have.
- 1:58:26SPEAKER_04: Um, and I'll throw it out.
- 1:58:28SPEAKER_04: We're gonna get to I got a quite a few uh blasts that have rolled in, so we will dive into those here in just a moment on the John Justice show presented by American Experiment.
- 1:58:36SPEAKER_04: Um but if they let's just say for the sake of argument that, and we talked about this on the Freedom Friday show last week, that they have found enough evidence to launch um a criminal prosecution and potentially deport Ilhan Omar.
- 1:58:55SPEAKER_04: Is it better for this to happen in the next seven weeks before the midterms?
- 1:59:02SPEAKER_04: Does that motivate uh Republicans to get out and vote?
- 1:59:06SPEAKER_04: Or would it be better to wait until after the midterms because to do it before the midterms would potentially motivate the left because you know what the backlash would be and the commentary would be from the mainstream media if Ilhan Omar were actually deported?
- 1:59:26SPEAKER_04: John.justice at American Experiment dot org.
- 1:59:30SPEAKER_04: Leave us a text or a voice message on the blaster line at six five one nine six four zero two nine four.
- 1:59:59SPEAKER_04: And it's officially the third hour here at the John Justice Show presented by American Experiment.
- 2:00:05SPEAKER_04: It seems as if the investigations are growing into the potential that Ilhan Omar may have committed uh immigration fraud.
- 2:00:13SPEAKER_04: Again, the worst kept secret here in Minnesota.
- 2:00:17SPEAKER_04: But the question is whether or not it would actually rise to criminal allegations, prosecution, and potential deportation, and whether or not it should happen now over waiting until after the midterm election.
- 2:00:32SPEAKER_04: Curious to get uh your thoughts.
- 2:00:34SPEAKER_04: Again, 651-964-0294.
- 2:00:37SPEAKER_04: I do want to share with you some more audio.
- 2:00:39SPEAKER_04: Newsmax had a round table talking about this very issue, so I'll share with you some details from this in a moment.
- 2:00:44SPEAKER_04: First off, though, we need to go back to the uh blaster line this morning.
- 2:00:48SPEAKER_04: Got a lot of comments that rolled in from uh Mildred.
- 2:00:51SPEAKER_04: Uh that's uh Eric from uh Brainerd's uh real name is Mildred, just for those that are curious.
- 2:00:57SPEAKER_08: You are so dumb and I'm so smart.
- 2:01:01SPEAKER_08: I should be right, dude.
- 2:01:04SPEAKER_08: You guys are just a bunch of dummy heads.
- 2:01:10SPEAKER_04: That was like a bizarre combination of Kevin from The Office, Eric Mildred from Brainerd, and Elmo.
- 2:01:27SPEAKER_04: If we were doing a blast of the day, which we should get back to, that would definitely be in the running.
- 2:01:33SPEAKER_14: Apparently Mildred has her knickers in a bunch.
- 2:01:36SPEAKER_14: To be worried about this.
- 2:01:51SPEAKER_22: Whereas that other app they could listen to other stations, so it makes sense that they'd stumble across yours, but they followed you all the way over to Center of American Experience.
- 2:02:00SPEAKER_22: Just to say the dumbest thing.
- 2:02:03SPEAKER_22: No substance, just like tip just like typical Democrats, no substance, just like Amy Clobashart.
- 2:02:10SPEAKER_22: The only substance that he offers to he is the lamest criticisms about the jokes that you make on the show.
- 2:02:19SPEAKER_22: I mean, this is the whole capturing of the DFL on this state just in those stockbacks.
- 2:02:26SPEAKER_22: Rather.
- 2:02:26SPEAKER_04: That's fantastic.
- 2:02:27SPEAKER_04: He's absolutely right.
- 2:02:29SPEAKER_04: I do such an effective job that my detractors follow me wherever I go.
- 2:02:36SPEAKER_04: It's also why I keep a burner less lethal launcher on me at all times.
- 2:02:42SPEAKER_04: Not a joke, it's right over there.
- 2:02:47SPEAKER_10: Hey Mildred, Laney Clovachar is more relatable than Lisa Damon.
- 2:02:55SPEAKER_10: Oh my god, what have you been smoking this morning?
- 2:02:58SPEAKER_10: And are you even listening to the same show?
- 2:03:00SPEAKER_10: The comments that you're making, I I don't even relate him to the show.
- 2:03:09SPEAKER_04: You know, I'm convinced, I'm convinced that the the comments made by by Mildred, they're done just to go and derail things.
- 2:03:18SPEAKER_04: The only reason why I give it attention is because in in the off chance that they're actually being legitimate, it's fun to mock.
- 2:03:26SPEAKER_04: But I do there is a part of me that thinks because they're so completely and utterly ridiculous and irrational, that they're done just simply to try to go and derail the uh the show.
- 2:03:39SPEAKER_04: But you know, on occasion it's fun to go.
- 2:03:41SPEAKER_04: But regardless of the motivation, it's entertainment, and that's ultimately what I'm here for.
- 2:03:45SPEAKER_04: What I've always been here for.
- 2:03:46SPEAKER_04: I'm not here to get people elected, I'm here to entertain.
- 2:03:50SPEAKER_04: It's really, really quite that uh simple.
- 2:03:54SPEAKER_11: How is it and why is it that the daughter of a drunken St.
- 2:03:58SPEAKER_11: Paul newspaper sports writer is qualified for a Minnesota political office?
- 2:04:05SPEAKER_11: Is it simply name recognition?
- 2:04:08SPEAKER_11: Hell, Monica Lewinsky's got name recognition.
- 2:04:13SPEAKER_04: Thank you for the comments.
- 2:04:14SPEAKER_04: We'll get to more of them uh coming up in uh just a moment here on the John uh Justice show.
- 2:04:19SPEAKER_04: Also, uh, we're gonna be diving into the uh free school meals and the cost are rising as Minnesota serves.
- 2:04:26SPEAKER_04: Over 450 meals to students in three years.
- 2:04:29SPEAKER_04: We're gonna revisit uh this story.
- 2:04:30SPEAKER_04: There's an update from uh KSTP that we'll uh be diving into.
- 2:04:35SPEAKER_04: And speaking of meals, one of the amazing things about the Neutrowave program is the fact that you get to eat the food that you want to eat.
- 2:04:43SPEAKER_04: You choose the food while you're on this amazing program.
- 2:04:49SPEAKER_04: And it really does make all the difference.
- 2:04:50SPEAKER_04: It changes your relationship with food, and this is what I did with the program this time around.
- 2:04:54SPEAKER_04: I did my first round before we went on our America 250 road trip.
- 2:05:01SPEAKER_04: Uh Kyle, my son, and I.
- 2:05:03SPEAKER_04: And actually did the program while I was traveling because I wanted to know what it was like to be on the program while I'm not at home.
- 2:05:11SPEAKER_04: I was able to continue to lose weight, and more importantly, I lost 22 pounds, finished the program when we got back from our trip, and then I went off it for several weeks.
- 2:05:20SPEAKER_04: Because I wanted to see what would happen when I returned back to my normal eating habits, and I found out that my eating habits had changed.
- 2:05:26SPEAKER_04: I had a better respect for food.
- 2:05:28SPEAKER_04: I was still enjoying the food that I love because I love to eat, but no longer was I using it as a crutch and for comfort anymore.
- 2:05:36SPEAKER_04: And I didn't put any weight back on, and I decided, you know what, I'm gonna do another round on this program to see if I can lose even more weight, and I've done that.
- 2:05:43SPEAKER_04: I've lost 30 pounds on this program.
- 2:05:45SPEAKER_04: You can do the same thing, and I know that you can keep the weight off just like I have.
- 2:05:49SPEAKER_04: No pills, no shots.
- 2:05:50SPEAKER_04: For over 13 years, neutral wave has helped thousands of men and women lose the weight.
- 2:05:55SPEAKER_04: It all starts with the free truth metabolic scan, free red light therapy session.
- 2:05:59SPEAKER_04: You've got nothing to lose, but spots are limited and they go fast every week.
- 2:06:03SPEAKER_04: So call today, mention the keyword strike to 952-260-1965.
- 2:06:08SPEAKER_04: That's 952-260-1965.
- 2:06:12SPEAKER_04: N-U-T-R-I-W-A-V-E dot us.
- 2:06:15SPEAKER_04: That is the website to find out more information.
- 2:06:17SPEAKER_04: But call Dr.
- 2:06:18SPEAKER_04: Bob today.
- 2:06:18SPEAKER_04: I'm going to be talking with him later on this week.
- 2:06:20SPEAKER_04: We're going to be uh recording a post-show podcast, talk about the program, about the Maha movement of which he is all about.
- 2:06:28SPEAKER_04: No pills, no shots with neutral wave.
- 2:06:30SPEAKER_04: Individual results may vary.
- 2:06:32SPEAKER_04: We'll get back to more of your blasts coming up uh in just a moment.
- 2:06:36SPEAKER_04: Here is that uh conversation about the potential investigation into Ilhan Omar marrying her brother and committing allegedly immigration fraud.
- 2:06:46SPEAKER_04: And this is the most that we've heard about these investigations ever, to be honest with you, even though we've known about these allegations for a long time.
- 2:06:55SPEAKER_04: Here is uh this uh roundtable discussion that took place yesterday on a newsmax.
- 2:07:01SPEAKER_29: Okay, the Trump administration's fight against fraud returns to Minnesota, once again targeting a Somali immigrant.
- 2:07:07SPEAKER_29: This time, this one sits in Congress.
- 2:07:09SPEAKER_35: She sure does.
- 2:07:10SPEAKER_35: President Trump's border czar, Tom Holman, confirming that Democratic Congresswoman Ilhan Omar is under investigation, although he would not confirm the details, or if it had anything to do with allegations that she married a man that critics allege is her brother as part of an immigration scheme.
- 2:07:27SPEAKER_44: I'm not coming in an ongoing criminal investigation.
- 2:07:30SPEAKER_44: I know things are going up, uh, but I can't get specifics um on what's happening, but um we'll see.
- 2:07:37SPEAKER_44: I mean, um, if someone committed immigration violation, if someone committed marriage from a lot, or anything that can happen.
- 2:07:44SPEAKER_44: We can hear it if they're a congressman or not.
- 2:07:46SPEAKER_44: Um it's above the law.
- 2:07:47SPEAKER_44: So um I'll leave it at that.
- 2:07:49SPEAKER_44: We'll let um um HSI home extreme investigations and uh continue the investigation.
- 2:07:56SPEAKER_29: The investigation stems from Omar's 2009 marriage to a man named Ahmed Elmy.
- 2:08:02SPEAKER_29: Now, critics and some administration officials allege the marriage was a sham intended to help Elmy gain immigration benefits in that the two are biological siblings.
- 2:08:12SPEAKER_29: Although no public evidence or court findings has confirmed a sibling claim, Omar has repeatedly denied these allegations.
- 2:08:18SPEAKER_35: All right, and joining us now with reaction is former DHS Senior Advisor Bernie Flowers and back on set GOP district leader Dwayne Moore.
- 2:08:26SPEAKER_35: All right, welcome to both of you.
- 2:08:27SPEAKER_35: Dwayne, I'm just gonna hand it over to you.
- 2:08:29SPEAKER_35: This is uh an awkward topic in many ways, but at the same time, if they were doing it to thwart the U.S.
- 2:08:36SPEAKER_35: government for immigration status, uh certainly wouldn't be the first time.
- 2:08:40SPEAKER_00: Yeah, I think what people on the left have to realize is that a a country is a home.
- 2:08:43SPEAKER_00: And the first thing that you do to respect a home that you're in is respect our laws.
- 2:08:47SPEAKER_00: And if Ilian Omar is responsible for breaking our laws, then she should be held accountable.
- 2:08:52SPEAKER_00: But it's also interesting when you meet the fact that she's possibly broken our immigration laws, but also the rhetoric she's had.
- 2:08:58SPEAKER_00: She came here as a guest in this country and then spread hate saying that we should be fearful of white men.
- 2:09:04SPEAKER_00: But why did you choose to come into a nation filled with white men that actually welcomed you into this nation?
- 2:09:09SPEAKER_00: She's someone that I think is more loyal to her country in Somalia than she is the United States.
- 2:09:14SPEAKER_00: And she is not trying to assimilate, not trying to better our country, but she's actually been connected to a lot of the fraud because it seems like she's more interested in her Somalian community.
- 2:09:23SPEAKER_00: So if it's true, then maybe she'll be welcomed back in Somalia.
- 2:09:26SPEAKER_29: Now, Colonel, I think a lot of us are thinking, great, okay, a criminal investigation's happening, but what what'll actually come of it here?
- 2:09:33SPEAKER_29: Or is this just another one of those?
- 2:09:34SPEAKER_29: We're gonna look into it.
- 2:09:36SPEAKER_29: They find out.
- 2:09:37SPEAKER_29: Yeah, it kind of just goes away here.
- 2:09:38SPEAKER_29: So what do you foresee happening?
- 2:09:40SPEAKER_43: Rob and Katrina, thanks for having me.
- 2:09:43SPEAKER_43: I think that it's serious this time.
- 2:09:45SPEAKER_43: Um HSI is a serious organization under DHS, under Secretary Mullen, and um it will be the results of the president.
- 2:09:54SPEAKER_43: I mean, the results of the investigation will make it up to the president eventually, and I think that she will be sent home.
- 2:10:00SPEAKER_43: I hope that happens because our system is designed to make sure that we have honest information in the system.
- 2:10:07SPEAKER_43: And if the system doesn't have honest information, it will work, it won't work.
- 2:10:11SPEAKER_43: And it's not fair for someone who works in Congress to take advantage of the system and use it to their own advantage.
- 2:10:18SPEAKER_43: So I just hope that um HSI will come up with an honest investigation, turn it over to the president, and send her home.
- 2:10:25SPEAKER_35: Yeah, it'll be very interesting to see what they find out, if anything.
- 2:10:28SPEAKER_35: But but I just want to talk uh, you know, mention uh what you said, Duane, here just about um, you know, Ilhan Omar's loyalty.
- 2:10:36SPEAKER_35: Uh certainly based on her politics, on her rhetoric, doesn't seem that it has been to the United States, potentially even to all of her constituents.
- 2:10:45SPEAKER_35: Even thinking uh back last week, the 25th anniversary of September 11th, both Ilhan Omar and Rashidich leave, they chose silence.
- 2:10:52SPEAKER_35: They they they they really didn't say anything about the tragedy, but once again, they served the United States, uh at least technically, but perhaps not in their minds and hearts.
- 2:11:05SPEAKER_00: Actually, and when she was speaking in front of CARE, she said that 9-11 is just an event that some people did things.
- 2:11:10SPEAKER_00: She's minimized it.
- 2:11:11SPEAKER_00: And when you think of immigration and what it used to be in this country, you had people that came here and kissed the ground that they entered because they love being American.
- 2:11:19SPEAKER_00: And they were willing to go and to fight the same countries that they even left.
- 2:11:23SPEAKER_00: Now we have people like Alien Omar that wouldn't bust a grape in a fruit fight for this country, but they get to benefit everything that we have while spitting on our culture.
- 2:11:31SPEAKER_00: The United States is a culture.
- 2:11:33SPEAKER_00: It is a people, and it's worth defending.
- 2:11:35SPEAKER_00: And I know plenty of people growing up in New York that come from Guyana, that are pilots and in finance and love this country.
- 2:11:46SPEAKER_29: She was also associated with many people who were busted and all that fraud happening in her state, too.
- 2:11:51SPEAKER_29: All right, we'll see what the investigation unveils here as we wait here.
- 2:11:55SPEAKER_29: Bernie, Duane, we always appreciate it.
- 2:11:57SPEAKER_29: Thank you both.
- 2:11:58SPEAKER_04: And again, that was a Roundtable discussion that I uh thought was worthy of sharing with you regarding the ongoing investigation into uh Ilhan Omar.
- 2:12:08SPEAKER_04: Now, let me just back up for a moment.
- 2:12:09SPEAKER_04: I do have a few comments that rolled in and just mentioned this whole thing started with Mark Wayne Mullen, DHS, over the weekend at the midterm Republican National Convention, talking about how he believed that there was proof that he he straight up said Ilhan Omar married her brother.
- 2:12:29SPEAKER_04: So that's where all of this is stemming from.
- 2:12:32SPEAKER_04: And clearly with Tom Homan not wanting to go and comment further about the ongoing investigation, we seem to be closer than we ever have been in potentially getting to some accountability if she indeed indeed did go and commit uh immigration uh fraud.
- 2:12:49SPEAKER_25: You know, John, if they were to deport Ilhan Omar to Somalia, they would toss her in their brothel faster and she could say, Don't you know who I am?
- 2:13:03SPEAKER_04: I don't think that would be the case.
- 2:13:05SPEAKER_04: I understand your your joke there.
- 2:13:06SPEAKER_04: I don't think that would be the case.
- 2:13:07SPEAKER_04: I think that she would probably find herself in a rather lucrative position given how well known um she is.
- 2:13:16SPEAKER_04: Uh this is an interesting comment, though, regarding the whole controversy.
- 2:13:19SPEAKER_11: Would this whole Ilhan Omar investigation simply dry up and disappear if she would give blood DNA tests to the government, say here nope, we're not related.
- 2:13:33SPEAKER_11: Here's the test.
- 2:13:36SPEAKER_11: If that was me, that's what I would do.
- 2:13:38SPEAKER_11: If you're trying to investigate me for marrying my brother, I would prove to you that no, he's not, she's not.
- 2:13:44SPEAKER_11: Yeah.
- 2:13:45SPEAKER_04: No, that's never yeah, you're not wrong.
- 2:13:48SPEAKER_04: And I believe that I believe that the that the ex-husband slash brother is like living over in Europe.
- 2:13:54SPEAKER_04: Like they know where he's living at.
- 2:13:56SPEAKER_04: Uh one more comment that rolled in that made me uh chuckle regarding uh foe of the show, Eric from Brainerd slash Mildred.
- 2:14:04SPEAKER_20: Good morning, John.
- 2:14:06SPEAKER_20: Uh very rarely do I disagree with you.
- 2:14:08SPEAKER_20: I I tend to share a pretty close worldview, but you said something earlier specific to Mildred slash aka Eric and said when referring to the Lisa Damon thing that it couldn't get any dumber.
- 2:14:21SPEAKER_20: And I respectfully disagree.
- 2:14:24SPEAKER_20: I think that there's no level to the depth of the stupidity we're about to hear in the next couple of months as it relates to their approach to how they want to fight back against all the fraud and other things that they come up with.
- 2:14:38SPEAKER_20: I believe that it's gonna get much dumber if you just stay tuned.
- 2:14:41SPEAKER_04: Yeah, no, we actually do agree.
- 2:14:43SPEAKER_04: Yeah, buckle up because the next uh uh the next seven weeks, yeah, it's gonna get it's gonna get nutty.
- 2:14:52SPEAKER_04: Just wait.
- 2:14:53SPEAKER_04: Again, 651-964-05 uh 65.
- 2:14:58SPEAKER_04: That's the number for the blaster line.
- 2:14:59SPEAKER_04: Leave us a voice or uh text uh message.
- 2:15:03SPEAKER_04: Also, I want to remind you that if you're looking to get services done for your home, there is no better company that you can trust.
- 2:15:10SPEAKER_04: It's the company your neighbors trust and the company that I trust.

- 2:15:28SPEAKER_04: It's trusted service for your home.
- 2:15:29SPEAKER_04: They have an iHeart My Home Club, and I had their uh non-commissioned, trained professionals across all the major trades, plumbing, HVAC, electrical, uh, gas, even safety and security systems.
- 2:15:40SPEAKER_04: They came in and did a full home mechanical analysis right on down to the water quality testing.
- 2:15:45SPEAKER_04: And they even identify quick fixes on the spot that cost me no money that would have in the future if they haven't, you know, hadn't examined it.
- 2:15:52SPEAKER_04: Now, they may come up with things that may actually cost you some dollars in order to correct them.
- 2:15:58SPEAKER_04: But because their technicians are non-commissioned, you know that you're not getting an upsell, you're not being taken advantage of, and you can trust the recommendations from Ericsson Plumbing Heating Air and Electrical.

- 2:16:12SPEAKER_04: Again, iHeartErickson.com, or give them a call today and make sure that when you do, you tell them that John Justice uh sent you.
- 2:16:20SPEAKER_04: And that number is 763-783-4545.
- 2:16:24SPEAKER_04: That's 763-783-4545 for Ericsson Plumbing Heating Air and Electricity.

- 2:17:26SPEAKER_04: He's gonna be joining us in studio sitting on the uh comfy sofa here at the American Experiment Studio.
- 2:17:32SPEAKER_04: We're gonna be talking about a couple of different issues with him.
- 2:17:35SPEAKER_04: The$5,000 check heard around the world.
- 2:17:39SPEAKER_04: Donald Trump looked to reverse the trend when it comes to the midterms, although they haven't mentioned anything since Trump made that announcement last week at the uh RNC.
- 2:17:49SPEAKER_04: Also, IRS audit review.
- 2:17:51SPEAKER_04: Word is this down 35% maybe not true.
- 2:17:55SPEAKER_04: Dan Pill is going to bring us the truth on that.
- 2:17:57SPEAKER_04: He has a brand new piece at National Review.
- 2:17:59SPEAKER_04: Also, any tax-related questions that you have for Dan, get them in now.
- 2:18:04SPEAKER_04: You can email John.justice at AmericanExperiment.org or you can drop us a blast as 651-964-0294.
- 2:18:14SPEAKER_04: And you can do text or voicemail with those uh blasts.
- 2:18:18SPEAKER_04: Again, 651-964-0294 if you have any questions for our tax guru Dan Pilla coming up just after uh 830 this morning.
- 2:18:27SPEAKER_04: A pair of Minnesota healthcare providers published an article, speaking of immigration, in the New England Journal of Medicine this month, detailing the impact of the Trump administration's immigration crackdown on patients.
- 2:18:39SPEAKER_04: This is nothing more in the Minnesota reformer of local media continuing to carry the water for the DFL in keeping Operation Metro Surge on the top of mind of voters as much as possible.
- 2:18:53SPEAKER_04: You get further into the article, and you know what you find out?
- 2:18:57SPEAKER_04: You find out that the experts are doing that thing with my fingers that are reporting to the New England Journal of Medicine, they are presenting the findings to the Minnesota Truth Council.
- 2:19:10SPEAKER_04: That's the whole point of this whole thing.
- 2:19:13SPEAKER_04: You have a family nurse practitioner, public health nurse, founded Inspire Change Clinic in South Minneapolis, says patients went missing at the beginning of Operation Metro Surge.
- 2:19:25SPEAKER_04: Quickly reoriented the clinic to deliver home care.
- 2:19:29SPEAKER_04: Great, good for you.
- 2:19:31SPEAKER_04: You had another individual involved in the article posing a question for large hospitals and clinics, saying what obligations do healthcare institutions hold when fear becomes the primary barrier to care?
- 2:19:46SPEAKER_04: If people, just like so much of this, they didn't go to work, but more specifically when it comes to healthcare, if individuals decided they weren't going to go and get healthcare out of fear of what was happening with Operation Metro Surge, that's 100% on the decision that they personally went and made to live in fear.
- 2:20:03SPEAKER_04: But it's also equally ridiculous because one of the safest places you could go to would be a healthcare provider because of the rules that they generally have to help anybody, regardless of your immigration status.
- 2:20:17SPEAKER_04: The article goes on to say the incidence of miscarriage and stillbirth, premature delivery due to malnutrition, parents who did not visit their child in the neonatal intensive care unit for up to eight weeks, and a father who was detained days after the baby was born.
- 2:20:34SPEAKER_04: It's tragic.
- 2:20:35SPEAKER_04: It's sad.
- 2:20:36SPEAKER_04: I wish it didn't happen, but guess what?
- 2:20:37SPEAKER_04: We live in a world of consequences.
- 2:20:40SPEAKER_04: And every single one of those instances, there is personal responsibility and accountability of the actions in place when it comes to the parents of those children and the individuals' decisions that they made regarding immigration in this country.
- 2:20:55SPEAKER_04: I just have I I'll pray for them.
- 2:20:58SPEAKER_04: I feel bad for them.
- 2:21:01SPEAKER_04: That being said, there are consequences for your actions.
- 2:21:05SPEAKER_04: But all of this is nothing more than a massive setup for the Truth Council that Governor Dim Walls has put together.
- 2:21:15SPEAKER_04: As I mentioned, my expectation, because the reports uh is going to be released coming up on October 31st, we're talking a handful of days before the election.
- 2:21:28SPEAKER_04: And make no mistake, everything in this truth council report is going to be beneficial to DFLers.
- 2:21:37SPEAKER_04: And my theory on this whole thing was the whole reason why you had local media outlets going and downplaying the amount of money attached to fraud was simply so that when this truth council report comes out, they can say that, well, through our investigative reporting, we can go and calculate that when it came to Operation Metro Surge, it actually cost us more money than the fraud ever did in the state.
- 2:22:04SPEAKER_04: And they'll use things like this here.
- 2:22:10SPEAKER_04: Just wait.
- 2:22:11SPEAKER_04: It's gonna happen.
- 2:22:12SPEAKER_04: And what's cracked me up about this is they have this massive investigation going into Operation Metro Surge that's clearly politically motivated with this truth council.
- 2:22:22SPEAKER_04: And yet, when it comes to the Minnesota Free School Meals program, Governor Walls views the program as a success and a positive outcome, even though it's running millions of almost 50% higher than what their projections originally were.
- 2:22:37SPEAKER_04: And he has no curiosity whatsoever in getting to the root cause of why it's costing so much money.
- 2:22:45SPEAKER_04: Channel 5 picked up on the story and has uh did a report on it last night.
- 2:22:50SPEAKER_04: I want to share with you some of their reporting.
- 2:22:52SPEAKER_04: Free school meals cost rises.
- 2:22:55SPEAKER_04: 450 meals to students in three years.
- 2:22:59SPEAKER_04: Right, meals to students is one thing, but how many of those meals were thrown away?
- 2:23:04SPEAKER_04: Just one of the questions, of many that should be asked.
- 2:23:09SPEAKER_30: Proponents of this program say it makes sure that kids have a free and healthy meal every day, and it saves families money.
- 2:23:16SPEAKER_30: But I spoke with one GOP lawmaker who says the program lacks checks and balances, and some of that money could go to teachers or elsewhere in the classroom.
- 2:23:27SPEAKER_30: The state of Minnesota has served up 450 million free school meals the past three years.
- 2:23:32SPEAKER_30: Governor Wolf say last week it's one of the programs he's the most proud of during his two terms.
- 2:23:38SPEAKER_34: We know what the research shows when they come in and eat a nutritious breakfast, they do better in the classroom.
- 2:23:43SPEAKER_30: The program began in 2024 and saw a surge in participation right away.
- 2:23:48SPEAKER_30: But that's also one of the reasons it's become more expensive than originally projected.
- 2:23:52SPEAKER_30: Take a look.
- 2:23:53SPEAKER_30: According to the governor's office, the program was originally projected to cost the state about$400 million in the first two years.
- 2:24:00SPEAKER_30: But it's much more expensive than that.
- 2:24:02SPEAKER_30: The program cost$276 million in 2024 and$294 million in 2025.
- 2:24:09SPEAKER_30: We've also learned the most recent forecast for the program is estimated to be another$637 million split over the next two years.
- 2:24:18SPEAKER_30: When asked about the growing costs, Governor Wallace said it means the program is even more important than they originally thought.
- 2:24:25SPEAKER_34: My guess is early on we saw that the cost was a little more than the original projected, and I saw some people complaining about that.
- 2:24:30SPEAKER_34: I saw that as a wonderful problem to have because it showed how important the program was, and we knew that it was an investment.
- 2:24:36SPEAKER_30: We also asked where the extra money comes from if the program runs over the projected costs.
- 2:24:41SPEAKER_30: And a spokesperson for the Minnesota Department of Education told us that free school meals aren't funded by a specific tax, they're paid for out of the general fund as part of the education budget, with lawmakers deciding how much to allocate during the state budget process.
- 2:24:56SPEAKER_37: You have to ask yourself: should the uh tax dollars of a middle class family be used to pay for meals for children of a CEO?
- 2:25:06SPEAKER_30: Minnesota State Senator Carlin Nelson is one lawmaker who says the program should be targeted rather than universally free for every student.
- 2:25:15SPEAKER_37: Should that money be used for education priorities like classrooms, teachers, special education, or safety?
- 2:25:23SPEAKER_30: Senator Nelson says that many of her GOP colleagues have been pushing for changes to this program for some time in the Senate.
- 2:25:30SPEAKER_30: She said, depending on how elections go in November, she expects that to continue in this next legislative session.
- 2:25:37SPEAKER_30: Reporting at the State Capitol, Ellen Gallis, five eyewitness news.
- 2:25:42SPEAKER_04: And I just want to circle back to my comments here is that we have this comprehensive investigation.
- 2:25:48SPEAKER_04: We have more of a concerted effort to look into Operation Metro Surge than certainly we do this meals program, okay, which Walls is just saying, oh, this just shows how successful it is.
- 2:26:03SPEAKER_04: When I think you and I both know, based off of what we've heard from you on the show, about the amount of food that's being uh wasted.
- 2:26:11SPEAKER_04: But there's more of an there's there's more of an interest in getting to the bottom of Operation Metro Surge in their eyes, and there is even the fraud.
- 2:26:19SPEAKER_04: But much like the January 6th investigations, it's not like this is going to yield any sort of fair and balanced coverage of what actually took place when Operation Metro Surge.
- 2:26:29SPEAKER_04: Like I said, at the end of the day, when this report comes out on October 31st, just watch.
- 2:26:34SPEAKER_04: Everything in it is going to be beneficial to the DFL.
- 2:26:38SPEAKER_04: I have no doubt about it whatsoever.
- 2:26:41SPEAKER_09: John, if Tim Wall said that kids do better in school when they've got a full belly off of a free meal, why aren't they doing better?
- 2:26:48SPEAKER_18: Yeah.
- 2:26:49SPEAKER_18: That's an uh excellent point.
- 2:26:51SPEAKER_18: Good morning, John Devon.
- 2:26:52SPEAKER_18: To hear Timmy Wall sit and say that these are nutritious breakfasts is absolutely ridiculous.
- 2:27:00SPEAKER_18: I'm getting all tongue-tied.
- 2:27:03SPEAKER_18: My wife works in a school.
- 2:27:04SPEAKER_18: I've seen the lunches.
- 2:27:06SPEAKER_18: It's sugar, carb, fat.
- 2:27:09SPEAKER_18: Sugar, sugar, carbs, fat.
- 2:27:11SPEAKER_18: And they can't wonder why our kids have an obesity problem.
- 2:27:15SPEAKER_18: What a crazy, crazy man this guy is.
- 2:27:19SPEAKER_18: And we need to make sure his predecessor, Amy Amy, doesn't get into the governor's office.
- 2:27:27SPEAKER_04: Thank you.
- 2:27:27SPEAKER_04: As always, boy, that was uh ScottCon5.
- 2:27:31SPEAKER_04: So much so that he was actually fumbling over his uh his words a bit.
- 2:27:34SPEAKER_04: Thank you, Scott, uh, for the uh blast.
- 2:27:36SPEAKER_04: I greatly appreciate it.
- 2:27:37SPEAKER_04: 651-964-0294.

- 2:28:05SPEAKER_04: A lot of people I know have reservations about these products.

- 2:31:18SPEAKER_04: That voice you just heard is in studio on the comfy sofa.
- 2:31:20SPEAKER_04: Dan Pilla.
- 2:31:21SPEAKER_04: Good morning, Dan.
- 2:31:21SPEAKER_04: How are we doing this morning, sir?
- 2:31:22SPEAKER_01: Well, John, how are you doing this morning?
- 2:31:24SPEAKER_04: I'm doing great.
- 2:31:24SPEAKER_04: It's great to see you.
- 2:31:25SPEAKER_04: It's good to see you.
- 2:31:26SPEAKER_04: Hey, what out right now, what primarily um what are people asking for for help?
- 2:31:31SPEAKER_04: I know with your expertise uh in dealing with taxes.
- 2:31:34SPEAKER_04: This time of year, uh, what are people looking to address and wanting to get your help on?
- 2:31:39SPEAKER_01: Collection issues, John.
- 2:31:41SPEAKER_01: That goes on all year long.
- 2:31:42SPEAKER_01: We focus on solving collection problems.
- 2:31:45SPEAKER_01: So if you've got a tax debt you owe the IRS and you can't pay you$50,000,$100,000,$5 million, it doesn't matter what the number is, even$10,000, it just doesn't make any difference what the amount is.
- 2:31:57SPEAKER_01: If you're dealing with uh any sort of collection function with the IRS, that's about 70-75% of the work I do.
- 2:32:04SPEAKER_01: We do a lot of uh with a lot of audit defense as well.
- 2:32:07SPEAKER_01: Audits go on all year long, collection goes on all year long.
- 2:32:11SPEAKER_01: We do a lot of appeals work and tax court work.
- 2:32:14SPEAKER_01: So anybody that's got a litigation problem with the IRS, that's that's the sweet spot for me.
- 2:32:19SPEAKER_04: When it comes to this election cycle, are there do you have concerns about the outcome of the of the election and what it will mean for future tax uh policy?
- 2:32:30SPEAKER_01: Well, I'm always concerned about about more Democrats in control of the purse strings at the federal level and the state level.
- 2:32:37SPEAKER_01: John, they just want to spend more money.
- 2:32:39SPEAKER_01: Uh the the you know, you know this.
- 2:32:40SPEAKER_01: We you you were talking this morning about the uh about the food programs here in the state.
- 2:32:44SPEAKER_01: There just is no limit to the amount of money these people want to spend.
- 2:32:48SPEAKER_01: And that that's always concerning.
- 2:32:51SPEAKER_04: I have a uh text that rolled in here.
- 2:32:53SPEAKER_04: Says I'm 64 years old.
- 2:32:55SPEAKER_04: I've always been a blue-collar worker.
- 2:32:57SPEAKER_04: I have not filed a tax return for over 25 years.
- 2:33:00SPEAKER_04: What should I do?
- 2:33:01SPEAKER_01: Well, see, okay, now that that that's more common than you think.
- 2:33:06SPEAKER_01: Is it really?
- 2:33:06SPEAKER_01: Well, yeah.
- 2:33:07SPEAKER_01: Oh, yeah.
- 2:33:07SPEAKER_04: We we I was questioning the validity of the blast.
- 2:33:10SPEAKER_04: Is that something that actually?
- 2:33:11SPEAKER_01: Oh, absolutely.
- 2:33:12SPEAKER_01: We get I'm telling you, John, we get three phone calls a week at my office from people just like this.
- 2:33:18SPEAKER_01: How is that possible?
- 2:33:19SPEAKER_01: Well, I'll tell you how it's possible.
- 2:33:20SPEAKER_01: First of all, if if you've got if you've got a uh self-employed individual, it's very common for self-employed individuals to earn income without getting income reports sent to the IRS.
- 2:33:31SPEAKER_01: All right, you as a wage earner, you get an income report sent to the IRS, a W-2.
- 2:33:36SPEAKER_01: They know how much money you've earned.
- 2:33:37SPEAKER_01: All right.
- 2:33:38SPEAKER_01: So if you don't file a tax return, it's common that the IRS will use that wage information to rattle your cage.
- 2:33:44SPEAKER_01: They do it with a notice that says, hey, we've got information that says you were supposed to file a return and you didn't, you know, we want that tax return.
- 2:33:52SPEAKER_01: But if you're self employed and there's no wage reports, then you're not going to get that wage, you're not gonna get that notice.
- 2:33:58SPEAKER_01: And so it can go on year after year.
- 2:34:00SPEAKER_01: It is not uncommon.
- 2:34:01SPEAKER_01: It's unusual, but it's not uncommon even for a wage earner where the IRS has wage reports that they will go year after year without filing a tax return.
- 2:34:10SPEAKER_01: And there's no rhyme or reason why the IRS wouldn't contact such a person, but it does happen.
- 2:34:16SPEAKER_04: So if they haven't filed in 25 years, I mean Well, there's good news.
- 2:34:24SPEAKER_04: I mean, listen, if it were me, I'd be going, well, if you haven't done 25 years, don't alert them now for crying out loud.
- 2:34:29SPEAKER_04: But that's that's just me.
- 2:34:30SPEAKER_04: That's not the extra.
- 2:34:31SPEAKER_01: Well, there's good news and bad news.
- 2:34:32SPEAKER_01: And the bad news is that there's no statute of limitations on the IRS's right to assess tax when you haven't filed a return.
- 2:34:41SPEAKER_01: They can go back five years, 10 years, 20 years.
- 2:34:43SPEAKER_01: They could go back to 1913 when the income tax act started.
- 2:34:47SPEAKER_01: But they don't.
- 2:34:48SPEAKER_01: All right.
- 2:34:48SPEAKER_01: So that's that's the bad news.
- 2:34:49SPEAKER_01: The good news is their policy is generally to only go back six years to chase delinquent returns.
- 2:34:55SPEAKER_01: So what I do in a situation like that is I will have the client put together their their uh their records, income, expenses, assets, and liabilities, and so on.
- 2:35:05SPEAKER_01: And then we build a picture of what their what their financial situation looks like.
- 2:35:09SPEAKER_01: And then we go back six years to cure the delinquent return filing.
- 2:35:14SPEAKER_01: Generally, there's unusual circumstances where the IRS will go back more than six years, but generally six years is the window.
- 2:35:21SPEAKER_04: So um I want to get into this national review piece that you have.
- 2:35:25SPEAKER_04: Before we do, though, I do want to get your thoughts.
- 2:35:27SPEAKER_04: Um, and I already prepped you on this.
- 2:35:30SPEAKER_04: So um my guess is you're probably not the biggest fan on this, but he hasn't, Trump hasn't mentioned it since last week.
- 2:35:35SPEAKER_04: So um I do want to uh make sure that everybody realizes that you can go and leave a question.
- 2:35:41SPEAKER_04: Um, even if I don't think it's legitimate, and that was a legitimate question.
- 2:35:45SPEAKER_04: Uh 651-964-0294.
- 2:35:48SPEAKER_04: 651-964-0294.
- 2:35:52SPEAKER_04: You can leave us a voice or a text message for our tax guru uh Dan Pilla.
- 2:35:57SPEAKER_04: If you have any questions uh for him, you can also email me john.justice at american experiment.org.
- 2:36:03SPEAKER_04: Okay.
- 2:36:03SPEAKER_04: So President Donald Trump during the midterm RNC presented a proposal to give every American a$5,000 check if Republicans win the House, meaning if they are able and the and maintain control of the Senate.
- 2:36:18SPEAKER_04: Okay.
- 2:36:18SPEAKER_04: Um obviously he's not going to be able to get this done if he wanted to, if he doesn't have control of Congress.
- 2:36:24SPEAKER_04: Uh there was no details on where he was pulling this money from.
- 2:36:30SPEAKER_04: There was a lot of extrapolating of previous comments about the possibility of this happening.
- 2:36:36SPEAKER_04: Some people pointing to the tariffs.
- 2:36:37SPEAKER_04: We've talked a lot about that with you.
- 2:36:39SPEAKER_04: Others pointing out that J.D.
- 2:36:41SPEAKER_04: Vance had said there would be some monetary income stipulations.
- 2:36:45SPEAKER_04: It wouldn't be every single American.
- 2:36:47SPEAKER_04: Um, I do want to preface that Trump has not said anything about this since he made that announcement.
- 2:36:52SPEAKER_04: It went over like a ton of bricks.
- 2:36:56SPEAKER_04: I was waiting to see what what the what the details were, but they haven't provided any.
- 2:37:00SPEAKER_04: So all that being said, uh your thoughts when you heard when you heard about this.
- 2:37:04SPEAKER_01: Well, there used to be a time, John, when only Democrats tried to bribe voters with programs and benefits and free stuff.
- 2:37:14SPEAKER_01: And we've we've seen uh we've seen uh President Trump doing this now more than once.
- 2:37:18SPEAKER_01: He talked about the he talked about the Doge dividend of$5,000, and he talked about a tariff dividend of$2,000.
- 2:37:25SPEAKER_01: And now he's talking about this uh this economic prosperity dividend of$5,000.
- 2:37:30SPEAKER_01: And and and and I am I'm frankly personally offended by this because a dividend implies profit, right?
- 2:37:38SPEAKER_01: If you're a shareholder of a corporation and you receive a dividend, you get that dividend because the company made money.
- 2:37:44SPEAKER_01: All right, the United States of America is in egregious debt.
- 2:37:48SPEAKER_01: The deficits have been have been mind-blowing.
- 2:37:51SPEAKER_01: I'm looking at 2024, for example.
- 2:37:53SPEAKER_01: There was roughly$5 trillion in revenue in 2024, and the federal government spent 6.7, more than$6.7 trillion.
- 2:38:03SPEAKER_01: That's not a profit, John.
- 2:38:04SPEAKER_01: That's deficit, right?
- 2:38:05SPEAKER_01: Now you go to 2025 and they collected more money in 2025, almost$5.3 trillion, but spent over$7 trillion.
- 2:38:15SPEAKER_01: There is no profit, no surplus that they can distribute money to taxpayers if they're going to distribute$5,000 to every the number I heard or the criteria, the only criterion that I heard, John, was that it would be U.S.
- 2:38:30SPEAKER_01: citizens.
- 2:38:31SPEAKER_01: Now, you know, as you correctly pointed out, there are no other details, right?
- 2:38:35SPEAKER_01: So we don't know.
- 2:38:35SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 2:38:36SPEAKER_01: But but if but if you use the number of uh or use the criterion of U.S.
- 2:38:40SPEAKER_01: citizen, you know, there's about 235 million U.S.
- 2:38:44SPEAKER_01: citizens in the United States, adult citizens.
- 2:38:47SPEAKER_01: You're gonna give these people$1.3 or$1.4 trillion.
- 2:38:51SPEAKER_01: That money is gonna come out of debt, John, not out of profits.
- 2:38:55SPEAKER_01: They're gonna borrow more money, pump it into the economy, and I think it's absurd.
- 2:39:00SPEAKER_04: I have a uh question that came in uh to the blaster line again, 651-964-0294, as we talk with uh Tax Help Online at Tax Guru Dan Pilla.
- 2:39:10SPEAKER_04: If you're a wage earner and you don't file, the only time they care um uh they care is worth when they do the math and they don't oh think you owe them money.
- 2:39:21SPEAKER_04: If they can see that they would have to send you a refund, they don't care and they don't contact you, they just keep your money.
- 2:39:28SPEAKER_04: Did you make sense of that?
- 2:39:29SPEAKER_01: Well, I can make some sense out of that.
- 2:39:30SPEAKER_01: First of all, they always care if you don't file a tax return because the responsibility to file a tax return, John, attaches to the receipt of income and not tax liability.
- 2:39:39SPEAKER_01: So even if you don't owe the IRS any money, you still have a legal responsibility to file a tax return if your income is above a certain amount.
- 2:39:47SPEAKER_01: Now that now the caller is correct in this sense.
- 2:39:50SPEAKER_01: If you don't file a tax return, there's no statute of limitations on their ability to go back and chase that return.
- 2:39:57SPEAKER_01: As I said a moment ago, they can go back five years, 10 years, 20 years, it doesn't matter.
- 2:40:01SPEAKER_01: But if they owe you money and you file that tax return more than three years late, you you waive your right to a refund or a credit.
- 2:40:10SPEAKER_01: They'll just keep it.
- 2:40:10SPEAKER_01: Now, here's the other problem.
- 2:40:12SPEAKER_01: When you don't file a tax return, the IRS has the authority under law to make a return for you.
- 2:40:17SPEAKER_01: It's called a substitute for return.
- 2:40:19SPEAKER_01: And they can just make up numbers, and they do just make up numbers.
- 2:40:22SPEAKER_01: And so if you don't file a tax return, even as a W-2 wage earner, they can your W-2 can say you made$60,000 last year, but there could be some guy sitting at a chair looking up at the stars, scratching his chin, saying, Oh, I don't know, I think this guy made$360,000 last year, and put that number down on a uh on a tax return called a substitute for return and mail you a bill, and now the burden of proof is on you to show that you didn't have that kind of income.
- 2:40:47SPEAKER_01: So it's it's a tricky situation when you don't file a return.
- 2:40:50SPEAKER_01: It's not just as simple as they don't care if you don't owe them money.
- 2:40:55SPEAKER_04: How does the how does the IRS determine who they're going to go after?
- 2:41:01SPEAKER_04: I mean, you don't have I mean, you've got, you know, millions upon millions of people that are filing tax returns.
- 2:41:07SPEAKER_04: Um, has it changed?
- 2:41:08SPEAKER_04: But ultimately, I mean, how are they determining whether or not you get audited versus, you know, myself getting audited or Devin getting audited?
- 2:41:15SPEAKER_01: Yeah, that's a good question.
- 2:41:16SPEAKER_01: And it and it's uh it it and here's the the basis of the piece in national review that's up right now is is is that issue right there.
- 2:41:23SPEAKER_01: Uh, you know, people are panicked over the IRS that they uh panicked at the idea that the IRS is auditing fewer people, right?
- 2:41:30SPEAKER_01: The face-to-face audit numbers are going down.
- 2:41:34SPEAKER_01: But what's been happening for years, John, even decades, is that the number of correspondence audits are going up.
- 2:41:41SPEAKER_01: So, you know, you've got 270 plus or minus 270 million business and individual tax returns filed every year.
- 2:41:48SPEAKER_01: And even if the IRS had a million employees, which certainly they don't, but even if they did, there's no possible way they can audit all those tax returns in a face-to-face environment.
- 2:41:57SPEAKER_01: They have to use computers to do it, and they are using computers to do it.
- 2:42:01SPEAKER_01: And generally they're using a program called a discriminate income function system.
- 2:42:05SPEAKER_01: And it's a sophisticated program that compares every line of your tax return with national and regional statistical averages for a person in your same income category and profession.
- 2:42:15SPEAKER_01: And if any one line of your return is out of sync with those averages, the difference is scored.
- 2:42:19SPEAKER_01: And the and the greater the difference, the higher the score, right?
- 2:42:22SPEAKER_01: It's called a diff score.
- 2:42:23SPEAKER_01: And so that means that the higher the score you have, the more likely it is that that particular entry is wrong.
- 2:42:30SPEAKER_01: Doesn't mean it's wrong, but it means that it could be wrong.
- 2:42:32SPEAKER_01: And so that's how the IRS focuses its power.
- 2:42:35SPEAKER_01: They simply cannot audit everybody.
- 2:42:37SPEAKER_01: They know they can't audit everybody.
- 2:42:39SPEAKER_01: They have to profile, John, and that's what they do.
- 2:42:42SPEAKER_01: They do financial profiling.
- 2:42:44SPEAKER_01: If we did this at the airport, people would be screaming.
- 2:42:46SPEAKER_01: But the IRS does it every single day.
- 2:42:48SPEAKER_01: The IRS does it every day.
- 2:42:50SPEAKER_01: They use financial profiling to decide who they're going to go after because they can't possibly go after everyone.
- 2:42:57SPEAKER_04: Has um have you have you looked at all into the I have let me let me back let me phrase it this way.
- 2:43:03SPEAKER_04: I have to imagine that the advancements in artificial intelligence right now, they've got to be looking to take advantage of those advance advancements.
- 2:43:11SPEAKER_04: And I'm wondering if you've looked at all of that and how that might end up changing um, you know, not just how we do our own taxes, but how the IRS responds to, you know, audits and and taxpayers putting in their tax returns over.
- 2:43:24SPEAKER_01: Yeah, I got a piece on National Review a couple of months ago, or maybe maybe a month ago or so, that talks about that very thing that the IRS's use of artificial intelligence isn't going so well.
- 2:43:33SPEAKER_01: All right.
- 2:43:33SPEAKER_01: So they got their chatbots that they're using that are AI driven, and they've got their assistance programs, taxpayer assistance programs that are AI driven.
- 2:43:42SPEAKER_01: And they're getting they're getting a very high level of wrong information out to taxpayers using that system, John.
- 2:43:49SPEAKER_01: In addition to that, there the the uh the uh uh Tigda, Treasury Inspector General for Tax Administration found that there's over 200 very common keywords and queries that taxpayers use to get help from the IRS that their AI systems didn't even recognize.
- 2:44:06SPEAKER_01: So wow.
- 2:44:07SPEAKER_01: They're they're kind of behind the curve on that.
- 2:44:09SPEAKER_01: And it and it uh it's a it's a little it's a little troubling.
- 2:44:12SPEAKER_04: Let's get back into this piece.
- 2:44:14SPEAKER_04: Um IRS audit revenue down 35%.
- 2:44:17SPEAKER_04: You say not so fast.
- 2:44:18SPEAKER_04: Um, and I know you talked about this, you know, briefly a moment ago, but get into what you hope people take away from this particular uh this particular piece that you have in national review, Dan.
- 2:44:29SPEAKER_01: Well, there's two there's two key points there regarding this piece on national review right now.
- 2:44:33SPEAKER_01: Number number one is is that Tigda looked at audit revenue in 2025, and the leftist Democrats panicked and said, look at this revenue is down in 2025, and it has to be because the IRS lost 20, 20%, 25% of its workforce in 2025.
- 2:44:52SPEAKER_01: And so there's a direct correlation between the reduction in IRS employees and their ability to collect money.
- 2:44:57SPEAKER_01: And the and the conclusion that I came up with by looking at the totality of the numbers is you can't, you can't you can't come to that conclusion at all, John.
- 2:45:05SPEAKER_01: And the reason is because audit revenue in 2025 is not tied to audits conducted in 2025.
- 2:45:12SPEAKER_01: It takes a long time to go through a tax audit.
- 2:45:15SPEAKER_01: If your return is selected for audit today, it would be probably by the end of next year before the resolution was reached on whether you actually owe that money or not.
- 2:45:24SPEAKER_01: And another very important point that that uh that is uh that is lost in all of the hysteria from the Democrats is that when the tax when a tax auditor recommends a number, all right, you go through an audit, uh you go through an audit and and the auditor says, John, you owe us 10 grand.
- 2:45:41SPEAKER_01: And you look at that report, you say, that's wrong.
- 2:45:43SPEAKER_01: I don't, this is wrong, that's wrong.
- 2:45:45SPEAKER_01: And you exercise your appeal rights.
- 2:45:47SPEAKER_01: By the time that washes out, John, you owe less than half of what the auditor recommended.
- 2:45:53SPEAKER_01: And I point this out in my book, How to Win Your Tax Audit.
- 2:45:56SPEAKER_01: I've been using these numbers for years, and these come right out of the IRS's appeal uh documentation that these auditors are wrong 60 to 90% of the time.
- 2:46:05SPEAKER_01: So you can't just go by the recommended number, all right?
- 2:46:08SPEAKER_01: It's just it's a false flag.
- 2:46:10SPEAKER_01: It really is.
- 2:46:11SPEAKER_01: Now, the other point, we talked about this already.
- 2:46:14SPEAKER_01: Yes, the number of face-to-face audits is going down.
- 2:46:17SPEAKER_01: Yes, the number of revenue or the amount of revenue from face-to-face audits is going down, but at the same time, simultaneously, correspondence audits are going up through the roof, and revenue recommended from correspondence audits is likewise going through the roof.
- 2:46:31SPEAKER_01: Now, they're not any more accurate, so let's let's make sure we distinguish between recommended, uh, recommended tax owed and actual tax owed.
- 2:46:40SPEAKER_01: They're different.
- 2:46:40SPEAKER_01: But the fact of the matter is, they can't audit everybody in a face-to-face environment.
- 2:46:46SPEAKER_01: They never could, they never will be able to.
- 2:46:48SPEAKER_01: Correspondence audits driven by by uh machine intelligence, that's where that's where they're going.
- 2:46:55SPEAKER_04: What is the um what's the future gonna look like for or how do younger generations deal with the fact that you've got now more than uh anecdotally speaking, I don't have the evidence in front of me talking with Taskeru Dampilla, but you know, we live now in this gig economy where so many young people have multiple income streams, um, more so than I've than I've ever seen before.
- 2:47:21SPEAKER_04: Um, individuals even doing what I do now.
- 2:47:23SPEAKER_04: You've got in in places that you never imagined, you've got these multiple income streams.
- 2:47:27SPEAKER_04: And of course, you have the tax burden that falls upon them.
- 2:47:30SPEAKER_04: You know, what's the future going to look like when it comes to the fact that we have been moving towards this different style of employment where we don't just have one job and it was the easiest thing in the world when you had one job and one tax return, now you've got multiple ones.
- 2:47:44SPEAKER_04: Um, how do you deal with that?
- 2:47:46SPEAKER_04: And how has the IRS responded to this?
- 2:47:47SPEAKER_01: Well, and furthermore, John, it's not just that they have more than one job, they've got self-employment income.
- 2:47:52SPEAKER_01: And as I alluded to earlier, that self-employment income is often unreported to the IRS.
- 2:47:57SPEAKER_01: And so they're screwing themselves into the ground, finding ways to track that income so that they can tax the so-called gig economy, just exactly white what you described.
- 2:48:08SPEAKER_01: And they're driving themselves crazy trying to figure out how to do it.
- 2:48:11SPEAKER_01: Now, here's the thing that young people don't understand, and that is the IRS has got pretty ready access to your bank account, not in terms of getting money from the account, seizing money.
- 2:48:21SPEAKER_01: There's a whole host of steps they have to, they have to jump through, uh, hoops they have to jump through in order to be able to take money out of your bank account.
- 2:48:29SPEAKER_01: But they can get the information out of that account pretty easily.
- 2:48:32SPEAKER_01: They don't need a warrant, they don't need a judge, they don't need any of the trappings of the Fourth Amendment, all of that stuff is gone, gone, gone when it comes to the IRS getting access to the information in your bank account.
- 2:48:43SPEAKER_01: And so this is what is going to surprise a lot of young people is, you know, okay, they're getting a check from here and they're getting a check from there.
- 2:48:49SPEAKER_01: It's all going in their bank, John.
- 2:48:51SPEAKER_01: It's all going in their PayPal, right?
- 2:48:52SPEAKER_01: They're they're using all these tools, these electronic tools that that I that I have no idea how this stuff works, right?
- 2:49:00SPEAKER_01: I don't use it.
- 2:49:01SPEAKER_01: But anyway, the point is they're using them and it's all available to the IRS, the information.
- 2:49:05SPEAKER_01: So these kids need to learn what the responsibilities are of a self-employed person.
- 2:49:11SPEAKER_01: I would strongly recommend my book, Dan Pillow's Small Business Tax Guide, that will help all of these people to comply with the reporting requirements so they don't get in trouble.
- 2:49:21SPEAKER_01: But to the bigger part of your question, I think that this is gonna be one of the things that drives the United States away from an income tax system.
- 2:49:29SPEAKER_01: I have, I have maintained for decades, John, that this income tax system is gonna collapse of its own weight.
- 2:49:35SPEAKER_01: And one of the things I believe that's gonna be one of the, uh, you know, one of the one of the jingle sticks that that you know that we pull out of the pile is the fact that there's so many young people out there that got income from so many sources that's not reported.
- 2:49:48SPEAKER_01: That is going to cause the uh it's gonna have to cause Congress to rethink this system.
- 2:49:53SPEAKER_04: Yeah, because it's just it, I would imagine it's made it that much more complicated for the IRS to stay on top of it.
- 2:49:59SPEAKER_04: And, you know, those young, younger generations need to know that if you're pulling in money from Instagram or YouTube or TikTok, I mean, they're reporting that.
- 2:50:09SPEAKER_04: The IRS is aware.
- 2:50:11SPEAKER_04: So if they see there's a, you know, I would imagine that if they see a discrepancy between the amount of money that's been reported and what you've been bringing in or haven't been bringing in and haven't been reporting, they're gonna be able to flag that pretty easy.
- 2:50:21SPEAKER_01: That's exactly right.
- 2:50:22SPEAKER_01: But it's more than that, whether it's reported or not, that money's going into a bank account.
- 2:50:27SPEAKER_01: And the IRS has access to that bank account information and they can see what you deposited in your bank account.
- 2:50:32SPEAKER_01: So if you've got a tax return that reports W-2 income of, you know,$20,000, but you got$150,000 deposited to your bank account.
- 2:50:40SPEAKER_01: Well, guess what?
- 2:50:41SPEAKER_01: Yeah, there's a discrepancy there, and they want that explained.
- 2:50:44SPEAKER_04: Before I let you go this morning, again, talking with our tax guru Dan, uh, Dan Pilla, uh your enthusiasm is always impressive.
- 2:50:53SPEAKER_04: What what brought you to this and and why do you get so excited?
- 2:50:59SPEAKER_04: I mean, I I get it.
- 2:51:00SPEAKER_04: I mean, you you feed off of it and I appreciate it.
- 2:51:02SPEAKER_04: But I'm just wondering when it comes to something, you know, the running joke is, you know, I just had as much fun at a tax audit.
- 2:51:09SPEAKER_04: I'd rather watch drawing paint for crying out loud.
- 2:51:12SPEAKER_04: And yet you're coming in here with the energy like I'm talking about Star Wars.
- 2:51:15SPEAKER_04: So why does this interest you so much?
- 2:51:17SPEAKER_01: Well, I got started in this business, John, in the early 1970s.
- 2:51:22SPEAKER_01: I didn't get started in the early 1970s.
- 2:51:24SPEAKER_01: What happened in the early 1970s is the IRS shut my father's business down.
- 2:51:28SPEAKER_01: He had a small business in St.
- 2:51:30SPEAKER_01: Paul, got behind on his employees' withholding taxes.
- 2:51:33SPEAKER_01: In 1974, John, they padlocked the doors and they auctioned his equipment off for a couple cents on the dollar.
- 2:51:39SPEAKER_01: And then in 1978, 79, they tried to seize our family home.
- 2:51:43SPEAKER_01: And that's when I got involved.
- 2:51:45SPEAKER_01: I was 18 at the time.
- 2:51:46SPEAKER_01: I came home one day, and my mom was sitting at the kitchen table and she had an envelope in her hand from the IRS, and she hands me this letter and says, What do you make of this?
- 2:51:54SPEAKER_01: And I read the letter and I said, Well, it looks like they're going to try to seize the house.
- 2:51:57SPEAKER_01: And she said, Well, what do we do?
- 2:52:00SPEAKER_01: And of course, I had no idea what to do.
- 2:52:02SPEAKER_01: But what I did is I went over to local law school, law library, John, and I started fumbling through the internal revenue code.
- 2:52:08SPEAKER_01: I didn't even know what I was looking for, and I stumbled onto an area of the tax code that deals with taxpayers' rights issues and limits the power of the IRS.
- 2:52:16SPEAKER_01: I start reading in this section of the code, and I didn't get six pages into it.
- 2:52:20SPEAKER_01: And I thought, well, these they can't do this.
- 2:52:22SPEAKER_01: They're proceeding illegally to seize this home.
- 2:52:24SPEAKER_01: So I did what any 18-year-old would do at the time.
- 2:52:27SPEAKER_01: I pasted together a Mickey Mouse lawsuit using the books I found in the law library, and I sued the IRS in federal court to get it, to get an injunction against them taken my mother's house.
- 2:52:39SPEAKER_01: And I found myself in a federal courtroom in Minneapolis in front of a federal judge, Miles Lorde, at the time.
- 2:52:44SPEAKER_01: And I make this argument that they shouldn't be allowed to seize the house.
- 2:52:48SPEAKER_01: And they flew an attorney for an attorney in from the Justice Department in Washington, D.C.
- 2:52:53SPEAKER_01: to have my case thrown thrown out.
- 2:52:55SPEAKER_01: And so here we are in this courtroom.
- 2:52:56SPEAKER_01: And I make my little argument, judge, here's what the law says, and they shouldn't be allowed to do this.
- 2:53:01SPEAKER_01: And this attorney from the Justice Department stands up and he starts blathering on about court cases this and statutes that.
- 2:53:08SPEAKER_01: And he's going on and on for 15 or 20 minutes, and I had no idea what the guy was talking about.
- 2:53:12SPEAKER_01: And I'm not sure he did either, but I certainly didn't know.
- 2:53:15SPEAKER_01: And when he was all finished, the judge looked over at him like this, and he pointed at me and he said, He's right.
- 2:53:22SPEAKER_01: And he slammed the gavel.
- 2:53:23SPEAKER_01: And I thought, well, this is easy.
- 2:53:24SPEAKER_01: I I've I stopped it.
- 2:53:27SPEAKER_01: Now, here's the interesting part is in between the time my dad got in trouble in the early 70s, and in that courtroom now by 1979, he got involved in the tax protester movement.
- 2:53:37SPEAKER_01: These are the people that say that taxes are illegal and they're voluntary and they violate the constitution and all these things, right?
- 2:53:43SPEAKER_01: You've heard all those.
- 2:53:44SPEAKER_01: We could talk about that someday.
- 2:53:45SPEAKER_01: It's it's it's a fun it's a fun topic.
- 2:53:47SPEAKER_01: Anyway, he had all these tax protester buddies.
- 2:53:50SPEAKER_01: There were probably a hundred people in the courtroom that day, and I'll bet 90 of them were my dad's tax protester buddies.
- 2:53:56SPEAKER_01: And they all had tax problems.
- 2:53:58SPEAKER_01: So when I got, you know, and they saw the judge slam the gavel, and then they heard him, they heard him say to this DOJ attorney that I was right and and he was wrong.
- 2:54:07SPEAKER_01: And so by the time I got home to my mother's house, they were lined up at the door and said, Dan, can you help me with my tax problem?
- 2:54:13SPEAKER_01: I said, Sure, baby, I'm undefeated.
- 2:54:15SPEAKER_01: Let's go here.
- 2:54:15SPEAKER_01: Wow.
- 2:54:16SPEAKER_01: And so that's that's how it got started.
- 2:54:17SPEAKER_04: You know, I I'm I'm gonna pat myself on the back a little bit.
- 2:54:20SPEAKER_04: I knew there had to be a story.
- 2:54:22SPEAKER_04: There's there's a there was no there was no way you just sort of, oh, I went to school and studied tax law, and this is really no, I knew there had to be, you know, what the you know, you know, in in an inciting incident that sent you on your way.
- 2:54:36SPEAKER_04: Uh, I have enough time to squeak the to squeak this in.
- 2:54:38SPEAKER_04: Got a question for you.
- 2:54:39SPEAKER_04: Uh, can you ask Dan about the legal requirement to not uh not paying Minnesota tax?
- 2:54:45SPEAKER_04: It's been gone six months and a day, he's questioning, or is it being uh in another state proportionally a longer period of time?
- 2:54:54SPEAKER_04: Do you understand?
- 2:54:54SPEAKER_01: Well, well, yeah, the the answer is not just being gone six months and a day.
- 2:54:59SPEAKER_01: You you must spend the majority of your time in another state.
- 2:55:02SPEAKER_01: That's true.
- 2:55:03SPEAKER_01: But there has to be an intent to move your residence from Minnesota to another state.
- 2:55:09SPEAKER_01: What is your intent?
- 2:55:11SPEAKER_01: And that intent is inferred by the surrounding facts and circumstances, John.
- 2:55:15SPEAKER_01: So not just the location and the time, but where are you registered to vote?
- 2:55:20SPEAKER_01: Where is your car license?
- 2:55:21SPEAKER_01: Where do you have your driver's license?
- 2:55:23SPEAKER_01: Uh, where do your kids go to school?
- 2:55:24SPEAKER_01: Where do you go to church?
- 2:55:25SPEAKER_01: All of those questions.
- 2:55:26SPEAKER_01: There's about 25 or 30 questions that the state will ask to glean the totality of the circumstances to ascertain whether you have an intent to not return to the state of Minnesota.
- 2:55:38SPEAKER_01: That's the key.
- 2:55:38SPEAKER_04: I think this last one might be a joke, but you never know.
- 2:55:41SPEAKER_04: Says if I'm a paid protester, will I get a W 2 from George Soros or from some other leader?
- 2:55:46SPEAKER_01: So well, you probably would if you're on if you're on a payroll.
- 2:55:49SPEAKER_01: Now it's it's possible that Soros, uh, that Soros engages these folks, John, as independent contractors, and pays them, uh, pays them a check, in which case they have to, he's got to issue a 1089 if it's more than$600.
- 2:56:02SPEAKER_04: Tax guru, Tax Help Online, Dan Pilla.
- 2:56:05SPEAKER_04: Really enjoyed the conversation today.
- 2:56:06SPEAKER_04: Thank you for coming in this morning.
- 2:56:07SPEAKER_04: I really do appreciate it.
- 2:56:08SPEAKER_04: My pleasure, John.
- 2:56:08SPEAKER_04: Yeah, and thanks for your support of the show as well, Dan.
- 2:56:10SPEAKER_04: My pleasure.
- 2:56:12SPEAKER_04: Tomorrow on the show, let's wrap on this.
- 2:56:14SPEAKER_04: I have one more story that I want to share with you today.
- 2:56:16SPEAKER_04: We don't have time to get into the details of this story.
- 2:56:19SPEAKER_04: We will spend some time with it tomorrow, and I know you're going to want to respond, which is why I want to hold off on it.
- 2:56:24SPEAKER_04: Hennepin County has spent over$500,000 on private security for County Attorney Mary Moriarty since November of 2023.
- 2:56:32SPEAKER_04: The expenditure contradicts Moriarty's public statements, downplaying crime concerns in Minneapolis.
- 2:56:40SPEAKER_04: The security services were provided by relative Intel with contracts totaling$615,000.
- 2:56:50SPEAKER_04: So while she's out there saying that we're not worried about crime's fine, it's going down and all that, she's out there paying$500,000 for a private security firm to keep her to keep her safe.
- 2:57:01SPEAKER_04: This is one I wanted to share with you, though.
- 2:57:03SPEAKER_04: And I just want to take the moment talking about Mary Moriarty and rap on this.
- 2:57:07SPEAKER_04: It's an opinion piece by Brian Strasser from the Minnesota Gun Owners Caucus.
- 2:57:13SPEAKER_04: The laws, and this relates to Mary Moriarty because of that revolving door of criminality and the lack of the will and desire that the social justice zealot Moriarty is in not prosecuting the criminal element.
- 2:57:29SPEAKER_04: Brian Strausser says the laws to stop the Loring Park shooter were on the books.
- 2:57:33SPEAKER_04: Nobody used them.
- 2:57:35SPEAKER_04: Senator Scott Dibble, DFL of Minneapolis, said last week that Carlton Johnson II, who allegedly killed two neighbors and shot two police officers at Shoreline Plaza apartment building in Minneapolis, should not have had a firearm.
- 2:57:49SPEAKER_04: Strasser says, well, he's he's right.
- 2:57:52SPEAKER_04: He shouldn't have had a firearm.
- 2:57:54SPEAKER_04: The question is why Johnson had one.
- 2:57:56SPEAKER_04: Not because Minnesota lacked the laws, but because the officials who were empowered by the existing laws looked at his record three separate times over seven years and chose not to uh not to act.
- 2:58:06SPEAKER_04: Two days after the shooting, Dibble, along with Protect Minnesota, a self-described coalition of 16 statewide groups committed to working together to prevent gun violence, doing that thing with my fingers, they uh held a news conference.
- 2:58:19SPEAKER_04: Their remedy was last session's gun control package, which can be characterized as a ban on commonly owned semi-automatic rifles, a magazine capacity limit, restriction on homemade firearms, binary triggers, and a stronger red flag law.
- 2:58:35SPEAKER_04: Now, in the Shoreline Plaza shooting, Johnson had a hand used a handgun, carried on a permit the sheriff issued.
- 2:58:43SPEAKER_04: He was not stopped by the red flag law that already had let two public offices seek an order against him.
- 2:58:49SPEAKER_04: Nothing in the legislative package reaches this case.
- 2:58:53SPEAKER_04: A reporter asked Dibble what had been missed.
- 2:58:56SPEAKER_04: His answer was, I don't know if something was missed or not because I don't know enough about the circumstances.
- 2:59:02SPEAKER_04: That is the problem with the pivot to the new legislation.
- 2:59:05SPEAKER_04: It moves the conversation away from three decisions by public officials and toward the rights of hundreds of thousands of Minnesotans who hold the permits to carry past the same background check and have done nothing wrong.
- 2:59:20SPEAKER_04: The legislature wrote these statutes to give sheriffs and prosecutors discretion to keep firearms from dangerous people.
- 2:59:26SPEAKER_04: But discretion never exercised is no law at all.
- 2:59:31SPEAKER_04: Adding petitioners to a red flag statute does not make a prosecutor file.
- 2:59:37SPEAKER_04: Judges on call at midnight do not matter when no petition reaches them.
- 2:59:42SPEAKER_04: A stronger law no one uses to produce the same result as the one we have.
- 2:59:48SPEAKER_04: The honest question is not what law Minnesota lacks, it is why, with this record in front of them, the offices holding the authority did not use it.
- 2:59:58SPEAKER_04: Minnesotans are owned and are owed answers before they are asked to accept new restrictions.
- 3:00:04SPEAKER_04: Hennepin County voters will elect a county attorney, Reich Bryan Strasser, and a sheriff this November.
- 3:00:09SPEAKER_04: Dibble is right that this man should not have had a gun.
- 3:00:13SPEAKER_04: The record uh shows who could have prevented it under the laws Minnesota already has and did not.
- 3:00:19SPEAKER_04: Before the state writes another law, it should ask why does the ones it has went unused when they mattered most?
- 3:00:27SPEAKER_04: It's Brian Strasser, again, chair of the Minnesota Gun Owners Caucus.
- 3:00:31SPEAKER_04: And he's absolutely uh spot on.
- 3:00:33SPEAKER_04: And in the meantime, you got Mary Moriarty talking about how crime is fine, there's no Somali gangs, and yet everything points a different direction, and she's paying a private security firm hundreds of thousands of your taxpayer dollars to protect her if crime is so great.
- 3:00:47SPEAKER_04: And I know that officials get threats, but to that level, makes you wonder.
- 3:00:52SPEAKER_04: We'll talk about it more on tomorrow's show.
- 3:00:54SPEAKER_04: Also on tomorrow's show.
