- 0:00Speaker 1: Sir, this is a hospital waiting room. It's one more thing.
- 0:04Speaker 2: I'm strong.
- 0:05Speaker 3: Andy.
- 0:08Speaker 2: We had a Michelangelo led podcast or than a Weekend
- 0:11Speaker 2: Now like Katie led podcast.
- 0:12Speaker 4: Uh break, I really do enjoy the long running joke, sir,
- 0:16Speaker 4: this is Wendy's drive through all the place amusing.
- 0:19Speaker 2: I appreciate you resetting it. We have breaking Obama's divorce news.
- 0:25Speaker 4: Wow, breaking news on the podcast that's etathetical to the
- 0:30Speaker 4: idea of this podcast.
- 0:32Speaker 2: Jack Anethema. Uh. Michelle Obama just said in a sit
- 0:37Speaker 2: down interview between the two of them, there hasn't been
- 0:39Speaker 2: one moment in our marriage where I've thought about quitting
- 0:41Speaker 2: on my man. Michelle Obama said, oh, wow, okay, I
- 0:44Speaker 2: don't know where the divorce rumors came from. I actually
- 0:47Speaker 2: liked that she came out whenever that was a month
- 0:50Speaker 2: or so ago and said there were times when the
- 0:54Speaker 2: kids were younger and they were in the White House
- 0:56Speaker 2: that she did not enjoy him very much. More people
- 1:00Speaker 2: should say that out loud, Oh yeah, rough patch, sure, yeah,
- 1:04Speaker 2: well it's real. Well, of course it is. More. People
- 1:07Speaker 2: should say that out loud, though, so that there aren't
- 1:09Speaker 2: some people that have unrealistic expectations for how pleasant things
- 1:13Speaker 2: should be always right. AnyWho, what do you got, Katie?
- 1:18Speaker 1: Oh dude, So yesterday was a little bit of an
- 1:23Speaker 1: s storm and Drew went through some stuff, ended up
- 1:27Speaker 1: in the emergency room.
- 1:28Speaker 3: He's totally fine, everything's good.
- 1:31Speaker 1: But so I went with him, and I was sitting
- 1:34Speaker 1: in the waiting area and it was an active waiting room.
- 1:37Speaker 1: I mean there was a guy who walked by and
- 1:40Speaker 1: he had blood coming out of his head.
- 1:41Speaker 3: There was another hit.
- 1:44Speaker 1: He I mean he had his ear was bandaged and
- 1:47Speaker 1: he was bleeding down his face.
- 1:48Speaker 2: Wow.
- 1:49Speaker 1: Another chick was puking into one of those hospital bags.
- 1:53Speaker 1: The guy next to me was not well, don't I
- 1:57Speaker 1: don't know what was going on with him, but I'm
- 2:00Speaker 1: suspecting some liver issues because he was a different color.
- 2:03Speaker 3: Like I mean, it was, Oh boy, there was a
- 2:06Speaker 3: lot going on.
- 2:07Speaker 2: When you show up to the ER, it is a
- 2:11Speaker 2: it is a trip to the human zoo. Well, and
- 2:13Speaker 2: you never have any idea. I mean, the most recent
- 2:15Speaker 2: time I went to the r just got luck time
- 2:17Speaker 2: of day, day whatever when I went because I had
- 2:19Speaker 2: too much coffee. Oh my god, the most embarrassing ER
- 2:23Speaker 2: trip ever. I was there for three hours. Uh, there
- 2:26Speaker 2: was like nobody there nice except one of our babysitters,
- 2:30Speaker 2: and that was uncomfortable for both of us. Why are
- 2:32Speaker 2: you here? Why are you here? But there was like
- 2:36Speaker 2: nobody there. But I've gone to the VR before where
- 2:38Speaker 2: it's like what you just described. It's it's just a
- 2:41Speaker 2: sea of unfortunate circumstances.
- 2:45Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 2:46Speaker 4: Yeah, the puking thing that reminds me. I used to
- 2:48Speaker 4: use this, used to give this as a handy hint
- 2:50Speaker 4: if you're in the emergency room, because it worked for
- 2:52Speaker 4: me at one point as a kid. I I got
- 2:54Speaker 4: too many concussions. But at one point in the egency room, yeah,
- 2:58Speaker 4: I know, and it and and it was like yeah, okay,
- 3:01Speaker 4: great to fill out the paperwork, all right, now sit down,
- 3:03Speaker 4: we'll let you know when we're ready for you. Some
- 3:05Speaker 4: time went by and I went into shock and I
- 3:07Speaker 4: started to puke everything, and it was like that good guy,
- 3:11Speaker 4: that's who we're helping, get Pukey mcpukerson back here.
- 3:14Speaker 3: That was a good plan to have that good call.
- 3:17Speaker 2: They've got bags now, yeah.
- 3:19Speaker 1: They've got these bags that have a plastic hole or
- 3:22Speaker 1: a plastic like ring so you don't get it anywhere.
- 3:25Speaker 2: So I the ring innovation that America is known for,
- 3:29Speaker 2: That's right.
- 3:30Speaker 1: But so I'm sitting there and I'm on my phone
- 3:32Speaker 1: and I'm I noticed this guy and he's probably i'd
- 3:35Speaker 1: say early sixties, long, rugged beard looks, you know, he
- 3:40Speaker 1: looks like a hardened old older guy walks by, and
- 3:44Speaker 1: he walks by again, and then he walks by a
- 3:47Speaker 1: third time, and then the fourth time he stops and
- 3:50Speaker 1: he looks up at the television, which at this time
- 3:53Speaker 1: is showing the hospital rules in Spanish. So I'm pretty
- 3:56Speaker 1: sure he's not obtaining any info from what's going going
- 4:00Speaker 1: on on the screen. And he finally just comes and
- 4:02Speaker 1: sits down in the chair directly next to me.
- 4:06Speaker 3: Oh boy, And I'm I'm scrolling out.
- 4:08Speaker 2: My head down next to the cute blonde, and I.
- 4:11Speaker 3: In my head, I'm looking at my phone, going, come on.
- 4:13Speaker 2: Dude, this is not the place to sit next to
- 4:15Speaker 2: the cute blonde and start a conversation.
- 4:18Speaker 1: And sure enough, man, they sure make us wait in
- 4:21Speaker 1: here forever, don't they.
- 4:22Speaker 3: And I'm all, yeah, yeah, they.
- 4:24Speaker 1: Do, sou man. You know, I just I just moved
- 4:28Speaker 1: here and I'm taking care of my mom and blah blah, blah,
- 4:32Speaker 1: and I'm like, going, good god, sir, like I said, sir,
- 4:35Speaker 1: this is a waiting room in a hospital. I don't
- 4:38Speaker 1: and he's talking kind of loud, so everybody's kind of
- 4:41Speaker 1: looking at us, and I'm at this point I'm giving
- 4:44Speaker 1: every female nurse I can the women's like help eyes,
- 4:48Speaker 1: like could you like maybe.
- 4:51Speaker 2: Man, some dudes shoot their shot everywhere, everywhere, doesn't matter
- 4:54Speaker 2: emergency room.
- 4:56Speaker 3: So the last part of it, he goes, yeah.
- 5:00Speaker 1: You know, so, so basically what I'm getting as I
- 5:03Speaker 1: just I would like to show you a good time,
- 5:05Speaker 1: you know, and my mom.
- 5:06Speaker 2: He actually went that far us.
- 5:08Speaker 3: He said, I would like to show you.
- 5:10Speaker 1: And also I was sitting there kind of like this,
- 5:12Speaker 1: like trying to blatantly flash my wedding ring hoping maybe
- 5:15Speaker 1: you know now.
- 5:17Speaker 2: That didn't work nothing to him? Zero. What is it?
- 5:19Speaker 2: What these dudes? Where did it come from?
- 5:22Speaker 4: I don't know, but well, you got the generation that
- 5:25Speaker 4: is terrified or uninterested in contacting a woman in any way,
- 5:29Speaker 4: in any setting, and then you've.
- 5:31Speaker 2: Got that guy. Can we go for something in between?
- 5:34Speaker 2: You manage some middle ground, some of it in this generation,
- 5:37Speaker 2: but some of it is just the kind of guy
- 5:38Speaker 2: and it's got to be disappointing to women that you've got,
- 5:41Speaker 2: like now eighty percent of the population won't approach you
- 5:44Speaker 2: at all, But then you still got that five percent
- 5:47Speaker 2: of weirdos that are going to approach you, even if
- 5:49Speaker 2: you've got a wedding ring on and you're sitting in
- 5:50Speaker 2: the er.
- 5:53Speaker 1: I felt like I was I was living in a dream.
- 5:56Speaker 1: But so the end of it, he goes, yeah, I'd
- 5:58Speaker 1: like to show you.
- 5:59Speaker 3: A good time. You know my mom's house.
- 6:01Speaker 1: It has a ranch, and I've got a horse. She's
- 6:04Speaker 1: not a pretty little pony anymore that you could ride.
- 6:06Speaker 2: But I've got a horse, boy.
- 6:08Speaker 1: And thank god, at that moment, Drew came out, Wow.
- 6:12Speaker 3: He's so eighty. I'm sorry, I think you're being narrow minded.
- 6:15Speaker 2: Shut up. Michael made him for coffee once, he might. Okay,
- 6:19Speaker 2: you guys are useless. That is something. So you got
- 6:22Speaker 2: the wedding ring, you've got the setting of the emergency room,
- 6:25Speaker 2: which is ridiculous.
- 6:28Speaker 3: Chick puking six feet to my right.
- 6:30Speaker 2: Well, when you mentioned he's in his early sixties, so
- 6:32Speaker 2: quite the age gap. So I'm gonna hit on somebody
- 6:35Speaker 2: decades younger than me who's married at the er.
- 6:39Speaker 4: At a bassy woman pukes within arms reach. Yes, I
- 6:43Speaker 4: mean that's an optimist. You gotta salute him for that.
- 6:47Speaker 4: Or he's an insane person.
- 6:49Speaker 2: Maybe try bumble instead of this.
- 6:53Speaker 3: Have you heard of tinder?
- 6:54Speaker 2: Wow? Wow?
- 7:00Speaker 1: If was just you know, and he was a nice
- 7:03Speaker 1: enough guy, you know, if I had met him, Let's
- 7:05Speaker 1: say we were at the bar and he wanted to
- 7:07Speaker 1: talk for a little while, undivided attention. Absolutely, But dude,
- 7:12Speaker 1: emergency room waiting room no.
- 7:16Speaker 2: Wow, Yeah, that's just amazing. I could show you a
- 7:19Speaker 2: good time check any better time than this being at
- 7:23Speaker 2: the emergency room.
- 7:25Speaker 4: Like we often say when we run into various sorts
- 7:28Speaker 4: of people, I want to interview him at length.
- 7:31Speaker 2: Know more about all the other aspects of his life,
- 7:33Speaker 2: which have to also be interesting.
- 7:35Speaker 3: Run is your last attempt at a funeral.
- 7:39Speaker 2: Home to say is there a limit for you? While
- 7:43Speaker 2: the body's still warm?
- 7:46Speaker 4: At an accident scene? Thank god you survived, ma'am? Say
- 7:51Speaker 4: would you like to while she's giving birth? Would that
- 7:54Speaker 4: be too much?
- 7:55Speaker 1: I see your cars a little messed up. I have
- 7:57Speaker 1: a horse you can ride.
- 7:59Speaker 2: The babies come. Would you still hit on that woman? Now?
- 8:02Speaker 4: Clearly you were with somebody like I don't know forty
- 8:05Speaker 4: weeks ago, but are.
- 8:06Speaker 2: You single now? I like kids. Kid is not a
- 8:12Speaker 2: deal breaker for me. You just thought i'd let you know. Up,
- 8:15Speaker 2: I can see the head anyway. Just Tuesday work I
- 8:20Speaker 2: met my wife had an accident. Seen she was on
- 8:22Speaker 2: the stretcher.
- 8:22Speaker 3: She had hit her head and I asked her out
- 8:24Speaker 3: and she said yes, and here we are married today.
- 8:27Speaker 2: Yeah, find love anywhere.
- 8:31Speaker 3: I kid.
- 8:32Speaker 2: Well, I guess that's it.
