Measles Spreads Fast in Wisconsin | Milwaukee News
Measles is surging in Wisconsin with 39 confirmed cases—18 in just the last week—and spreading beyond Iowa County into Lafayette and Grant. Health officials first noticed it in August and suspect more cases are out there. Alarmingly, 40 of the 41 cases this year involve unvaccinated individuals, despite the MMR vaccine being 97% effective. Two patients have been hospitalized.
