- 0:01Hello and welcome back to an episode about Lorencia.
- 0:03How are you all doing up? You're doing great for today's
- 0:06episode. Don't talk about singer Simi.
- 0:08Simi is in hot waters. People are not letting Simi
- 0:12breathe because according to them, Simi, the double standards
- 0:19is too much. Now, Simi has always been very
- 0:23vocal on social media regarding women's rights, women's issues
- 0:30and some people can call her a feminist.
- 0:32And Simi has always maintained that yes, with her full chest
- 0:36that she's a feminist. Now, the current problem that
- 0:40she's going through started when a Tiktoker, Mirabelle, came out
- 0:46and lied about being sexually assaulted.
- 0:50She said somebody broke into her house on Sunday and took
- 0:54advantage of her and also caught her in her private areas.
- 0:59Now that went viral. A lot of people were calling for
- 1:02the heads of those who or the guy who actually did that to
- 1:07her. Simi also came out and said that
- 1:10no women should be, you know, RAPED that people men should
- 1:16stop RAP women. Now, when it then come out or
- 1:22when it was then revealed, or when the lady Mirabel confessed
- 1:26that she lied, people were expecting see me to say, listen,
- 1:32I was championing this 'cause maybe justice should take its
- 1:38full course. Because if she was lying about
- 1:40being sexually assaulted, then she should also face the the law
- 1:45because everybody was calling for the guy who did that to her
- 1:48to go to gaol. So a lot of all female
- 1:52celebrities were also saying that if she had lied, she should
- 1:56face the same gaol time as the person who maybe she accused did
- 2:05that to her. Simi went mute.
- 2:08Simi did not say anything. Twitter or ex warriors got
- 2:14angry. They started digging up tweets
- 2:18or yeah, then it was tweets from Simi's old account or her
- 2:23current account old tweet from over 10 years ago where she was
- 2:27tweeting. I mean she was sharing so many
- 2:33like cringe Walley tweets. Now the one that got people
- 2:40talking was see me talking about a four year old because her
- 2:45mother runs or used to run a daycare.
- 2:48So according to see me, the four year old was trying to, you
- 2:54know, sexually assault her. Simi was 23 at that time and the
- 2:59child was 4 year old, the toddler, if I may see.
- 3:03So one of the tweets or some of the tweets that she she shared
- 3:06was she said David, the four year old has a crush on me.
- 3:12He keeps coming close acting like he wants to lock lips and
- 3:17then he put his head on my lap. Should I give him a chance?
- 3:22PS he is 4. The next one that people called
- 3:29out she said I love to kiss the kids at my mom's daycare.
- 3:34They are super adorable and I am crazy about them.
- 3:39Another one she said why this 4 year old boy trying to put his
- 3:44hands inside my shirt or Benny wash ito damn.
- 3:55Another one says I wonder if anyone ever used breast milk to
- 4:00bake cake before now. I think the particular one that
- 4:06people are angry about was the four year old boy, which she
- 4:11said was trying to, you know, some do some things to her like
- 4:16a four year old. You know how 4 year old or
- 4:19children maybe you're on your phone and they come very close
- 4:23to you, just try trying to put their heads inside the phone.
- 4:28You know how kids are. That doesn't mean that the child
- 4:31wants to do anything with you. That doesn't mean that the
- 4:33child, I mean, kids are kids. You know, they're always going
- 4:38to be kids, especially when they see phones.
- 4:41Right now, kids are more used to phones, but I think then it was
- 4:45very new. So when they see phones, they
- 4:47want to see what is inside. They're very curious.
- 4:52Somebody had called that house on Twitter or on X at that time.
- 4:56And Simi said, well, because the person said this is a child,
- 5:00they don't know what they're doing.
- 5:02Like, why would you say such things about child a child?
- 5:07And she said that she is also a child.
- 5:09Simi was 23 at that time, so people were expecting Simi to
- 5:14come out and apologise. So Simi wrote a statement.
- 5:19She said that she had not been on Twitter for X for some time.
- 5:24She just woke up to log in and she's seen all the backlash.
- 5:27She said that had seen her actively deleting some of her
- 5:31tweets. They are actively deleting some
- 5:37of her tweets. She said she was 23 years old at
- 5:40that time, that everything that she tweeted was not out of
- 5:44perversion, but she was just tweeting every anything that
- 5:47came comes to her mind. People were now saying what if
- 5:52the reverse was the case? What if it was a man writing
- 5:56such thing about a girl child? They said Twitter or social
- 6:01media would have been on fire. But because she's a woman, I
- 6:06think that also got a whole lot of men angry because they
- 6:11started releasing more tweets, more messages, more
- 6:16communications from Simi's X account from 1011 years ago and
- 6:25they are cringe worthy. It is sad because people
- 6:31expected her to come out and say listen or make a video because
- 6:34that was what a whole lot of people are saying, that she
- 6:36should have just made a video to say, I am sorry, I am sorry.
- 6:40It was a different time. I was young, I was stupid, I
- 6:45just take responsibility. A whole lot of people now said,
- 6:49what if it was your child that that happened to?
- 6:52What would you say? Would you say, oh, they are just
- 6:5423 years old, my child is 4. They don't mean it now.
- 7:00A lot of guys who were actually sexually abused at 4536 started
- 7:11writing messages about women who actually took advantage of them.
- 7:18One of them is social media commentator Omic.
- 7:22He said he he made a video. He said listen this happens a
- 7:26lot and just because they are women, men don't talk about it.
- 7:31Now let me play that video for you to to hear what he has to
- 7:34say. See, me, I did not want to get
- 7:38involved in this whole situation because your husband is somebody
- 7:42I owe dearly. Very easygoing guy.
- 7:45But I have to because this is my job.
- 7:50I think you're a very bold woman, very strong woman, always
- 7:53coming out to speak against rape.
- 7:55Absolutely. Because you're not the only
- 7:56celebrity we have. And a lot of female celebrities
- 7:59will like either turn the blind eye, look away, but you boldly
- 8:02do it. Good.
- 8:04But accountability Luffy by DJ just coming out and apologising
- 8:10that what I said. I'm sorry you didn't.
- 8:13And now it's been going on for this.
- 8:15In fact, the same Arab girl. And now it has propelled into a
- 8:22bigger issue paedophilia. And whether you like it or not,
- 8:27even though I know this is more witch hunting than it is
- 8:30anything, the facts are there that these are your tweets.
- 8:34You did write these things. Yes, you were younger, but you
- 8:38were over 20 and you consistently wrote it.
- 8:41In fact, somebody warned you in the tweets that why would you
- 8:45say this about an underage? You said that the kid, a four
- 8:47year old, was sexualizing you. You wrote those things and
- 8:53instead of coming outside to apologise but she lagged me and
- 8:56this is where the issue is. What's because I don't know that
- 9:02they are witch hunting you. You have to understand that
- 9:07paedophilia, rape is just as big as it is on the feminine side as
- 9:11it is on the masculine side. I know you might not have even
- 9:14acted on those things you were just saying but it doesn't
- 9:17matter. This were your treats you want
- 9:19to call for sure you are me and your men in your Dominique and
- 9:25they look back at Jimmy. In fact, I speak to therapists
- 9:30today and they're like that's one of the reasons why I am very
- 9:33hypersexual. The next person that by the time
- 9:40I'm 6 and so that would do her thing and someone would have
- 9:46been at least 2839. I was 4 and so have a lot of men
- 9:51been abused as a child. In fact, if you don't believe me
- 9:55let's play in the comment section.
- 9:56As a man, most some of them are married.
- 9:59But I beg you if you can please comment in the comment section
- 10:02with the name of the woman that abused you.
- 10:04Most men were dis virgin played with as a child by an elderly
- 10:09woman. How about that?
- 10:10Let's check it in the comment section.
- 10:15Just like he said, this should not have like escalated to this
- 10:19level. If she had apologised, if she
- 10:21had taken accountability. They were her tweets, she wrote
- 10:26those messages. She was 23 years old.
- 10:29She wasn't 9, she wasn't 10, she wasn't even 13.
- 10:34She was 23. She was an adult talking about a
- 10:42four year old toddler. So she she should have come out
- 10:48full on her sword. Just say, listen, I have two
- 10:52kids. Then I was, you know, probably
- 10:56high on something. Just make it.
- 11:04I think the the the major challenge or what got people
- 11:11really angry was the fact that she said her team are actively
- 11:16deleting tweets. They were like, what?
- 11:22So it was that bad. See me come out, make a video,
- 11:32make an apology video is sincere.
- 11:35You are a mother. If somebody has had written that
- 11:40about your child, whether they were 13, whether they were 12,
- 11:47not to talk of 23, if it was a man writing that about your
- 11:53daughter, would you have come out and say, oh, my team are
- 11:59actively deleting tweets? You would have called for the
- 12:03head of that person. So come out and apologise.
- 12:07Apologise sincerely. Sincerely.
- 12:13Anyway, let me know what you think.
- 12:14Do you think that people are just witch haunting Simi or do
- 12:18you think that she went too far regardless, Yes, it was a decade
- 12:21ago but those were her words and she needs to take
- 12:27accountability. Let me know what you think.
- 12:29Thank you very much for watching today's episode.
- 12:30Please like, like, like and share.
- 12:32Thank you very much for watching.
- 12:34Bye.
