- 0:00Speaker 1: Come to Positively.
- 0:01Speaker 2: Three hundred and sixty five, a podcast by Joe wattis
- 0:04Speaker 2: he wished to entertain, instruct and motivate, nothing else inspire.
- 0:15Speaker 1: Hope you enjoy this message.
- 0:22Speaker 3: A man was driving through the countryside when his car
- 0:26Speaker 3: suddenly breaks down near a farm. As he's inspecting the engine,
- 0:32Speaker 3: he hears a voice say, the problem is with your alternator. Surprised,
- 0:39Speaker 3: he looks around but doesn't see anyone over here, says
- 0:44Speaker 3: the voice again. He looks towards the pasture and sees
- 0:48Speaker 3: a horse staring right at him. Did you just talk,
- 0:54Speaker 3: the man asked, bewildered. Yes, says the horse, and you
- 1:00Speaker 3: know a little bit about cars, trust me, it's your alternator. Stunned,
- 1:06Speaker 3: the man calls for a tow truck. While waiting, he
- 1:09Speaker 3: walks over to the farmhouse to share his bizarre experience. Hey,
- 1:15Speaker 3: the man says to the farmer, Your horse just told
- 1:19Speaker 3: me what's wrong with my car. The farmer looks at him,
- 1:23Speaker 3: chuckles and replies, AH, don't listen to that horse. He
- 1:28Speaker 3: doesn't know anything about cars. The man, still in shock, says,
- 1:34Speaker 3: but he was so convincing. The farmer grins and says,
- 1:39Speaker 3: I'm not surprised that horse thinks he knows everything. He
- 1:44Speaker 3: even claims to give stock market tips. But just between
- 1:49Speaker 3: you and me, if you want real advice, you should
- 1:53Speaker 3: go talk to the cow. There's an old saying which
- 2:07Speaker 3: tells us that practice makes perfect. It's not totally true
- 2:12Speaker 3: that practice makes perfect. What makes perfection is learning from mistakes.
- 2:19Speaker 3: The mistake, when it happens, can be a good thing
- 2:23Speaker 3: because it opens us up to new possibilities. We will
- 2:28Speaker 3: talk about this in this week's episode of Positively three
- 2:32Speaker 3: sixty five, but first we have our trivia question of
- 2:36Speaker 3: the day. Are you ready for it? Here it is
- 2:41Speaker 3: what is the only metal that is liquid at room temperature?
- 2:48Speaker 3: We will have the answer when we come.
- 2:50Speaker 4: Back either Amazing listeners, if you're enjoying the show, don't

- 3:30Speaker 1: Thanks for tuning in, and now back to the show.
- 3:45Speaker 3: Do you know the answer to this week's trivia question?
- 3:50Speaker 3: The question was what is the only metal that is
- 3:55Speaker 3: liquid at room temperature? The answer mercury. Mercury is the
- 4:02Speaker 3: only metal that remains in liquid form at room temperature.
- 4:07Speaker 3: The melting point of mercury is thirty seven point eight
- 4:13Speaker 3: nine degrees fahrenheit below zero. Its unique properties make it
- 4:19Speaker 3: useful in thermometers, barometers, and certain electrical switches. However, mercury
- 4:26Speaker 3: is also highly toxic, and its use has been largely
- 4:31Speaker 3: phased out in consumer products to protect health and the environment.
- 4:38Speaker 3: Now you know, mistakes can be a good thing because
- 4:57Speaker 3: they offer valuable lessons that help us grow and improve.
- 5:03Speaker 3: When we reflect on what went wrong, we gain insights
- 5:08Speaker 3: that guide us toward better choices in the future. Mistakes
- 5:12Speaker 3: teach resilience, encouraging us to try again with greater wisdom
- 5:17Speaker 3: and perseverance. They also foster personal growth by reminding us
- 5:23Speaker 3: that failure is part of learning, not the end of
- 5:27Speaker 3: the road. By embracing mistakes opportunities for improvement, we can
- 5:34Speaker 3: turn setbacks into stepping stones for success now and in
- 5:41Speaker 3: the future. In the bleak, if milk is wasted, it
- 5:58Speaker 3: becomes yogurt. Yogurt is more valuable than milk if it
- 6:04Speaker 3: gets any worse, it becomes cheese. Cheese is more valuable
- 6:10Speaker 3: than yogurt and milk. And if grape juice turns sour,
- 6:16Speaker 3: it turns into wine, which is even more expensive than
- 6:20Speaker 3: grape juice. You're not bad because you made mistakes. Mistakes
- 6:27Speaker 3: are experiences that make you more valuable as a person.
- 6:32Speaker 3: Christopher Columbus made a navigation error that led him to
- 6:36Speaker 3: discover America. Alexander Fleming's mistake led him to invent penicillin.
- 6:45Speaker 3: Don't let your mistakes depress you. It's not practice that
- 6:50Speaker 3: makes perfect. It's the mistakes we learn from that make perfect.
