- 0:00Speaker 1: John Jay and Rich we need a contestant for Doja
- 0:02Speaker 1: Cat tickets. She'll be here in October at mortgage matchup.
- 0:06Speaker 1: Call us at eight seven seven nine three seven one
- 0:09Speaker 1: four seven. We have a very specific Doja Cat game
- 0:11Speaker 1: we're gonna play just for you while we wait for
- 0:14Speaker 1: a contestant. How about that storm last night?
- 0:17Speaker 2: Yeah, I like the power went out at our house.
- 0:20Speaker 1: Oh it did. Actually kind of scared me for how.
- 0:23Speaker 2: Long, about like two minutes, and then I just kicked
- 0:26Speaker 2: right back on.
- 0:27Speaker 1: Power to go at my house. But my backyard did
- 0:28Speaker 1: that thing it does all the time where it floods now.
- 0:31Speaker 3: I literally could not stop thinking about you. When it
- 0:34Speaker 3: started raining hard. I was like, oh, poor John Jay,
- 0:36Speaker 3: he's in his backyard. And then I was talking to
- 0:39Speaker 3: Scott on the phone because I was actually driving through
- 0:41Speaker 3: the storm, which always freaks me out, and I'm like
- 0:43Speaker 3: and he was like, yep, sure enough, John Jay's getting
- 0:46Speaker 3: the sandbags out.
- 0:48Speaker 1: I thought all I got fixed. It did, and it didn't.
- 0:50Speaker 1: The I think the backyard landscaping is done, but the
- 0:53Speaker 1: gutters on my roof are still jacked up. So I'm
- 0:56Speaker 1: getting a new roof in our at our house and
- 0:58Speaker 1: hopefully the roofers putting new gutters. Hopefully that that's I
- 1:02Speaker 1: you know, I just don't know. I know, but it's
- 1:03Speaker 1: so frustrating because of the stupid pool company from years ago.
- 1:07Speaker 1: But that's another story. Meanwhile, get this. So I woke
- 1:10Speaker 1: up this morning and I get up before anybody in
- 1:12Speaker 1: my house, and I walk downstairs and usually my dogs,
- 1:16Speaker 1: if they want to come in, they're outside in the
- 1:18Speaker 1: backyard by the window, by the door, and I'll open
- 1:20Speaker 1: the door let him in. They run up in the
- 1:21Speaker 1: jump in bed with my wife. And this morning, same thing.
- 1:25Speaker 1: They were right there. I open up the door and
- 1:27Speaker 1: my house alarm goes off. So the whole house lone,
- 1:30Speaker 1: and I mean it's louder than it's ever been. I
- 1:32Speaker 1: don't know what the hell it was so and red
- 1:34Speaker 1: lights are going off of my I never had that before. Yeah,
- 1:36Speaker 1: so I turn off the alarm. I was like, oh,
- 1:38Speaker 1: I totally forgot to turn off the arm. So I
- 1:40Speaker 1: turn off the alarm and just getting prepared, my son
- 1:44Speaker 1: Jake gets up a little before me. He works at
- 1:46Speaker 1: five am, and he comes walking downstairs. Now I'm wearing
- 1:51Speaker 1: because what I do in the morning now is I
- 1:52Speaker 1: get up in the morning, I have my normal routine
- 1:54Speaker 1: and I get on a treadmill, and what I do
- 1:56Speaker 1: when I get on the trad after I get on
- 1:57Speaker 1: the treadmill, usually get in the hot tub with the
- 1:58Speaker 1: cold plunch. So I don't really want to get a
- 2:00Speaker 1: pair of swimsuit wet and dirty for no reasons. I'm
- 2:03Speaker 1: in my underwear, but I'm also put on shoes and socks.
- 2:07Speaker 1: So I'm in my underwear with shoes and socks. Good look, Yeah,
- 2:10Speaker 1: it's a terrible look. So Jake comes walking downstairs and
- 2:14Speaker 1: just without a flinch or just saying he just says, oh, hey, Dad,
- 2:18Speaker 1: the police are at the front door and it's it's
- 2:21Speaker 1: it's three thirty in the morning. He's like, the police
- 2:23Speaker 1: are at the front door. I'm like, oh, because the
- 2:25Speaker 1: alarm on off. So and I also don't have I
- 2:28Speaker 1: discontinued the doorbell. So they're standing there. I don't know
- 2:31Speaker 1: if they're walking around and if they're knocking on the door.
- 2:33Speaker 1: So I walk over to the front door and there's
- 2:36Speaker 1: two cops in the dark in my front door. I
- 2:38Speaker 1: open up the door and I'm like, I'm so sorry.
- 2:40Speaker 1: I said I turned I thought I turned off the alarm.
- 2:42Speaker 1: Fast enough, and the cop goes, oh, you didn't. And
- 2:44Speaker 1: I go and I realized I'm in my underwear with
- 2:47Speaker 1: black shoes on in white socks, so clearly you're not
- 2:50Speaker 1: the bandit, the underwear bandit. And I'm like, I'm so sorry.
- 2:55Speaker 1: The guy goes, and what's your name? And I say
- 2:57Speaker 1: it's John J. Van Asty and he looks at something
- 2:59Speaker 1: he goes, okay, you're good, like all right, So I'm like,
- 3:02Speaker 1: then my dogs they start coming down the stairs. I go,
- 3:06Speaker 1: I have five dogs. They're on their way. Are we good?
- 3:09Speaker 1: Can I close the door and the guy, the cop
- 3:11Speaker 1: goes I hear them. I go, they're coming, are they?
- 3:14Speaker 1: He goes, yeah, you're good. I close the door and
- 3:16Speaker 1: the dogs go.
- 3:19Speaker 3: God chaos at your house always at.
- 3:24Speaker 1: Three thirty in the morning. Nuts. You don't need a
- 3:26Speaker 1: cold plunge after that, you're awake. I did it. I
- 3:29Speaker 1: did the cold plunge anyway, So thank you to the police.
- 3:31Speaker 1: Thank you, Phoenix, p D. Marge, good morning, Good morning.
- 3:36Speaker 1: All right, Marge, you're playing a game with us for
- 3:38Speaker 1: Doja cat tickets. All right, I hear you on a
- 3:44Speaker 1: speakerphone or a bluetooth or something. Can we get off
- 3:46Speaker 1: of that doesn't sound very good. I can't hear you.
- 3:49Speaker 4: Yeah, I'm driving, I have my head sits you want to.
- 3:52Speaker 1: Pull over because it doesn't sound good. We can't play
- 3:54Speaker 1: the game with you. We'll have to get another It's
- 3:55Speaker 1: no big deal. We'll just get another contestant. Yeah, sure,
- 4:00Speaker 1: no problem. We should do this when you're on hold
- 4:01Speaker 1: or something. That'd be great. Dylan, you told make sure
- 4:04Speaker 1: she does it. Listen to her, do it before you
- 4:07Speaker 1: patted it through, or get another kntesta. It doesn't sound good, okay, Yeah,
- 4:13Speaker 1: night and day, Margie. Okay, all right, what game we
- 4:16Speaker 1: gonn play? Nick?
- 4:17Speaker 5: You guys are playing a game called cartoon Cat, doja
- 4:19Speaker 5: Cat or person named Cat? Excellent, I've got some clues here.
- 4:24Speaker 5: First round it's gonna be uh some trivia. Second round
- 4:28Speaker 5: will be a fun audio portion of the game. We're
- 4:31Speaker 5: gonna start off with John Jay. Hey, John Jay, you
- 4:35Speaker 5: need to tell me if this is a cartoon cat,
- 4:37Speaker 5: dojakat or a person named cat? This cat loves Lasagna
- 4:41Speaker 5: but hates Mondays, cartoon Cat and Garfield.
- 4:43Speaker 6: Yeah, there we go two for two, John Jay.
- 4:46Speaker 5: In in round one, here Rich, this world famous newlywed
- 4:50Speaker 5: played a cat and owns cat's name Meredith Gray, Olivia
- 4:54Speaker 5: Benson and Benson or excuse me and Benjamin Button.
- 4:57Speaker 7: Oh yeah she was. She was a cat in cats.
- 5:01Speaker 7: Yeah you're talking about Taylor swiz.
- 5:02Speaker 6: Ye Tater squiz it.
- 5:04Speaker 5: Two for two can be bent boone, Peyton. This cat
- 5:11Speaker 5: was a broke girl, was friends with Thor and her
- 5:15Speaker 5: eventual stepdad.
- 5:16Speaker 6: Was a forty year old virgin.
- 5:21Speaker 5: Cat woman, cat woman, cat man, cat man.
- 5:28Speaker 1: Cat.
- 5:29Speaker 6: Okay, do you think it's an actual cat?
- 5:31Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 5:32Speaker 5: Okay, that wasn't one of the options. That's a person
- 5:34Speaker 5: named cat. We were looking for cat Dennings.
- 5:36Speaker 6: Who can.
- 5:39Speaker 1: Few of them? Anyway. That's that's a hard one. Sorry,
- 5:43Speaker 1: cat cat Dennings. I'll send you super curls.
- 5:46Speaker 6: All right, good try, Peyton.
- 5:48Speaker 5: Hey Kyle, this cat in tall footwear, the friend of
- 5:54Speaker 5: a donkey is an expert swordsman. You just need to
- 5:58Speaker 5: watch out for his hairball.
- 6:00Speaker 3: That's cartoon cat poo.
- 6:03Speaker 5: Poos in boots is correct. Two for two Kyle unfuged.
- 6:07Speaker 5: Two points for John Jay, two points for Rich, two
- 6:09Speaker 5: points for Kyle. Move on, now here we go, Margie, Okay,
- 6:14Speaker 5: this cat credits her name to all the marriage Juana
- 6:18Speaker 5: she smoked when she began making music. Doja Cat is correct? Alright,
- 6:27Speaker 5: we've got a three way tie heading into round two.
- 6:29Speaker 5: We're gonna start off with John Jay, John Jay. Who's
- 6:31Speaker 5: this cat? Their mom star Sylvester Sylvester cartoon cat.
- 6:40Speaker 6: Four points for John Jay Rich.
- 6:43Speaker 3: I've always hear his tribute.
- 6:45Speaker 7: Jennifer Larns. Oh Cat Sephardeine from Hunger Games. There we go,
- 6:49Speaker 7: fictional cat.
- 6:50Speaker 6: We'll take that.
- 6:51Speaker 1: Good job.
- 6:52Speaker 5: Two points, Peyton, Oh what I chose this one for
- 7:05Speaker 5: you specifically?
- 7:10Speaker 2: So that's Carl Anthony Town's whining.
- 7:12Speaker 6: Yes, let's go. Good job, Peyton.
- 7:17Speaker 1: Cat is ridiculously Kyle.
- 7:24Speaker 5: That's what you drink on Monday, Wednesday, Friday, his birthday, Jesus' birthday, Hennessy.
- 7:31Speaker 6: He is comedian.
- 7:33Speaker 3: Oh my god, I'm forgating his last name.
- 7:35Speaker 6: Cat Cat Cat.
- 7:37Speaker 1: Stephen Cat Cat. I know I can see him.
- 7:45Speaker 6: His name is cat, his name is Cat. I'll give
- 7:47Speaker 6: you a half point.
- 7:48Speaker 5: Really for cat will William William, Yes, all right, think.
- 7:52Speaker 6: Of that right, Good try, Kyle.
- 7:55Speaker 5: You get a half point either way, all right, Margie,
- 7:58Speaker 5: If you can get this one, you're gonna go see
- 8:00Speaker 5: the Doja cat. There we go, all right, Margie, thanks
- 8:22Speaker 5: for listening.
- 8:23Speaker 1: Hold online. We will set you up those budget you
- 8:25Speaker 1: got it, and we'll do it again tomorrow every day.
- 8:28Speaker 1: And then about an hour we got diamondback tickets, so
- 8:31Speaker 1: keep listening. And then we also got we're gonna pay
- 8:34Speaker 1: your bills in about a half hour and some point
- 8:36Speaker 1: this morning we got a minute to win it where
- 8:38Speaker 1: you can get your chance at one thousand bucks. Let's
- 8:41Speaker 1: go around the room real quick about TV. Who's watching?
- 8:43Speaker 1: Because I know that we keep saying there's not a
- 8:45Speaker 1: lot of TV, but I know, like Rich has watched
- 8:46Speaker 1: a lot of TV. Payton, you watch a movie, Kyle,
- 8:48Speaker 1: what do you watch? I'm watching a Little House in
- 8:50Speaker 1: the Prairie. I'm really in the Little House in the
- 8:52Speaker 1: Praye right now in episode six. There's only eight episodes,
- 8:55Speaker 1: and I'm liking it. I just damn it makes me
- 8:57Speaker 1: want to dig a well and build a happen, you know,
- 9:01Speaker 1: by the way I was, I was. I did a
- 9:04Speaker 1: deep dive in the Little House in the Prairie and
- 9:06Speaker 1: People Magazine did an article on it, and I thought
- 9:08Speaker 1: it was really interesting. And I can see why they're
- 9:11Speaker 1: trying to compare the two. But I guess the Little
- 9:13Speaker 1: House of Prairie storyline takes place at the exact same
- 9:16Speaker 1: time Bridgerton is happening. Really so Little House of Prairie
- 9:20Speaker 1: is happening in the United States. Bridgerton's happening in the UK.
- 9:23Speaker 1: Kind of cool, how And I can see now, like
- 9:26Speaker 1: the there's there are some similarities as far as the
- 9:29Speaker 1: outfits not. But now I look at it and I go, oh,
- 9:32Speaker 1: wait a minute, you know what I mean, It's something.
- 9:34Speaker 7: It seemed like in a way, it seems like Bridgerton.
- 9:37Speaker 7: They've have they have more a bridge analogy. Bridgington's also
- 9:40Speaker 7: not real. Little House of Prairie is a real story
- 9:44Speaker 7: that like really happened. That was pretty cool. But anyway,
- 9:46Speaker 7: what are you watching, Kyle?
- 9:47Speaker 3: I am watching the latest season of Dark Winds.
- 9:51Speaker 1: Oh I watched the first three seasons. Yeah that's a
- 9:53Speaker 1: good show. Yeah, I forgot about that show.
- 9:55Speaker 7: I know.
- 9:55Speaker 1: I actually thought about it too.
- 9:56Speaker 3: And I was a little upset that they didn't do
- 9:58Speaker 3: a better recap move into the season because I was
- 10:01Speaker 3: like having to figure out what characters did what, literally,
- 10:05Speaker 3: and I'm on the fourth episode still trying to figure
- 10:07Speaker 3: some things out. But it has hooked me a little
- 10:10Speaker 3: bit took a couple episodes to get back into it.
- 10:12Speaker 1: Did you watch season three? I don't know. I don't
- 10:14Speaker 1: think you did. I might not because I maybe I'm
- 10:17Speaker 1: so confused. Halfway through season three, I'm confused. I currently
- 10:21Speaker 1: hear that. Yeah, yeah, I love Dark Wins. It's great.
- 10:24Speaker 1: I thought it was a good show. But it usually
- 10:25Speaker 1: comes out on AMC and then it goes on and
- 10:27Speaker 1: then it goes on Netflix later. But I haven't seen
- 10:30Speaker 1: this season yet. But anyway, okay, so what else? Do you watched?
- 10:33Speaker 1: The Maximum More Drive thing?
- 10:34Speaker 3: Yeah, I've caught up on Maximum Pleasure Guaranteed on Apple
- 10:37Speaker 3: TV and that there's one more episode left. The season
- 10:40Speaker 3: finale comes out tomorrow.
- 10:42Speaker 1: Oh, I'm caught up too. I thought he's a finale
- 10:45Speaker 1: came out already. Yeah, okay, what about you, Peyton?
- 10:49Speaker 2: I watched the five Star Weekend that star Jennifer Gardner
- 10:52Speaker 2: and Regina Hall.
- 10:53Speaker 6: It's on Peacock.
- 10:54Speaker 2: It's actually really good, but I was looking at some
- 10:56Speaker 2: of the reviews and they're saying that the trailer doesn't
- 10:58Speaker 2: give what the actual is. Basically, like Jennifer Gardner, she's
- 11:02Speaker 2: this footy influencer and her husband dies, but she has
- 11:05Speaker 2: this like weekend in Nantucket where she grew up, but
- 11:08Speaker 2: she finds out that one of the girls in her
- 11:09Speaker 2: inner circle was the reason that her husband had the affair.
- 11:12Speaker 2: So it's like one thing's happening after another, and it
- 11:15Speaker 2: was really good.
- 11:15Speaker 1: Her husband had an affair and died. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 11:18Speaker 1: When you watch the trailer, it looks like it's the.
- 11:20Speaker 2: Hangover exactly, but no, does it.
- 11:23Speaker 1: To me? It did. I was like, oh, it's a
- 11:24Speaker 1: hangover sprides Maids. It's alway we can go away and
- 11:27Speaker 1: chaos happens.
- 11:28Speaker 2: You get girlhood, you get sisterhood. You see a relationship
- 11:30Speaker 2: with Jennifer Gardner and her daughter, you see grieving, you
- 11:33Speaker 2: see like all the good friendship memories. It was just
- 11:36Speaker 2: like it was. It was sad, but it was also
- 11:38Speaker 2: like funny.
- 11:39Speaker 1: Is it a comedy, It's a both.
- 11:41Speaker 2: It's like it's all of the things. It makes you
- 11:42Speaker 2: feel all the things really really good.
- 11:44Speaker 1: Actually by Rich Kate Fear Kate Fear, Oh my god.
- 11:47Speaker 7: That is the darkest show perhaps since Dexter, that I've
- 11:51Speaker 7: ever seen.
- 11:52Speaker 1: But Dexter's a good dark This is a good dark too.
- 11:55Speaker 1: It's just I watched five minutes of it. I turn Gary,
- 11:58Speaker 1: is it? I turned off? Jason? They shoot it like
- 12:00Speaker 1: a Hitchcock movie. I mean it is.
- 12:02Speaker 7: It has got like scary music, and it has wild
- 12:06Speaker 7: angles and criminals, and this guy basically gets out of
- 12:09Speaker 7: jail for a murder maybe he didn't commit, maybe he
- 12:11Speaker 7: didn't commit, but he starts terrorizing the lawyers that screwed
- 12:14Speaker 7: it up and made him go to jail and messing
- 12:17Speaker 7: with everybody in their family. And it is as dark
- 12:20Speaker 7: as the first couple episodes are it, it's even darker.
- 12:24Speaker 1: So I watched the first five minutes and I turned
- 12:26Speaker 1: it off on a on apple Thue because I got.
- 12:28Speaker 1: I got. I was like, this is twist, this is dark.
- 12:30Speaker 1: I don't want to and I couldn't get this thing
- 12:31Speaker 1: out of my head. So I went to Google reader
- 12:34Speaker 1: and all the reviews I read or it's not as
- 12:36Speaker 1: good as the It was a movie with Robert de
- 12:38Speaker 1: Niro that Martin Scosese he made and they made it
- 12:40Speaker 1: and he was like, it's not as good. They're not
- 12:42Speaker 1: letting the actor do his craziness. So I was like, oh,
- 12:44Speaker 1: I don't need to watch it. Yeah, no, No, he gets
- 12:46Speaker 1: even crazier. And Mark, what's up man, what are you watching?
- 12:49Speaker 4: It's on Netflix, not what you think it's gonna be.
- 12:55Speaker 1: What are you season one or season two? Well?
- 12:58Speaker 4: I started season two somehow when I turned it on, Right,
- 13:01Speaker 4: that's not no idea.
- 13:02Speaker 1: This season one. Oh, season one's really good. It's all
- 13:05Speaker 1: different actors. Now, the season one, I think it's kind
- 13:07Speaker 1: of like Lotus. Yeah, season one's what way better than
- 13:09Speaker 1: season two in my opinion? Is it? Yeah? Season two
- 13:14Speaker 1: is like White Guys.
- 13:15Speaker 7: Yeah, that's cool to know that was my show and
- 13:18Speaker 7: then that every summer every year after on Prime is
- 13:22Speaker 7: like number one, two or three right now. And it's
- 13:24Speaker 7: like I was telling Peyton about it because I thought
- 13:26Speaker 7: she would love it. Yeah, I ended up watching the
- 13:28Speaker 7: whole thing over vacation. It's just a young romance in
- 13:32Speaker 7: like in a small lake town. But you're you're gonna
- 13:35Speaker 7: like it, Kyle, you would dig it.
- 13:37Speaker 1: What about voicemails? Raasabell, I know you saw that. I
- 13:39Speaker 1: refuse to watch that. Kyle. You loved it too, right,
- 13:41Speaker 1: you said? Richard said happy ending.
- 13:43Speaker 7: It does have a happy ending, but it's tough getting there.
- 13:46Speaker 7: I was very sad during the show.
- 13:47Speaker 1: Yeah, the bear rich.
- 13:50Speaker 7: Last season it was good but slow. I keep on
- 13:54Speaker 7: telling you guys to watch it, John jay U Kyle,
- 13:57Speaker 7: because I think that you will end up loving the
- 13:59Speaker 7: characters on that show, but you won't.
- 14:01Speaker 1: Start it all right, House of Dragon Rich.
- 14:04Speaker 7: Good, it's better this year than it was last year.
- 14:07Speaker 7: I've watched a lot of teav.
- 14:08Speaker 1: Better this year than last year. Yeah, it's better this year.
- 14:10Speaker 1: The first year.
- 14:10Speaker 7: I haven't got through the first episode. Yeah, yeah, it's good.
- 14:13Speaker 7: It's like they're finally getting to it. They're finally getting
- 14:15Speaker 7: to the Game of Thrones.
- 14:17Speaker 1: Robert, what's up man, you're on there? Good morning?
- 14:21Speaker 4: Hello?
- 14:21Speaker 1: Yeah, what's up? You're on the air?
- 14:23Speaker 4: Hey, I was calling about the Rover you're talking about
- 14:26Speaker 4: Rover dot com the other day, and my wife used
- 14:28Speaker 4: to do that and uh, we had all of our
- 14:30Speaker 4: repeat customers coming through and such, but we ended up
- 14:33Speaker 4: keeping one of those dogs.
- 14:35Speaker 1: Are you supposed to do that? Well? Yeah, after after.
- 14:39Speaker 4: There was something up with we We knew there was
- 14:42Speaker 4: something up with her because she she you know, we'd
- 14:44Speaker 4: always send pictures off, you know, playing with a dog
- 14:46Speaker 4: in the park and things like that. That way they
- 14:48Speaker 4: felt comfortable. But after nine days she didn't, she didn't
- 14:51Speaker 4: come back to us.
- 14:52Speaker 1: So eventually she.
- 14:53Speaker 4: Came back and when we took the dog back, we
- 14:54Speaker 4: told her, hey, if there's ever an issue, you know,
- 14:56Speaker 4: we'd like to take him. And that's how we ended
- 14:58Speaker 4: up with him. We were going to get him new
- 15:00Speaker 4: and find him a good home and keep doing it
- 15:01Speaker 4: because my wife and I just enjoyed watching the dogs.
- 15:04Speaker 4: They're like grandkids. You get to spoil him for a
- 15:06Speaker 4: little bit and then send them on back. But in
- 15:09Speaker 4: that case, after we got a newter, we we ended
- 15:11Speaker 4: up keep him. Best dog I've ever had.
- 15:13Speaker 1: That's awesome, Robert, thanks you, thanks for listen, Thans for
