Transcript
- 0:00Speaker 1: Cisco's Stateside with Mitch McCann. Mitch, the latest Epstein from
- 0:04Speaker 1: beyond the Grave. These Epstein emails keep coming, and this
- 0:06Speaker 1: one mentions Trump quite specifically.
- 0:09Speaker 2: Yeah, that's right, Good morning, Ryan. New allegations this morning
- 0:12Speaker 2: that suggests Donald Trump may have known more about the
- 0:14Speaker 2: exploits of Jeffrey Epstein than he has led on. Now,
- 0:17Speaker 2: the context of this is that the administration has been
- 0:19Speaker 2: under a lot of appreciator release of all the Epstein files,
- 0:22Speaker 2: these documents and emails, which some believ will shed light
- 0:25Speaker 2: to the extent of his crimes and may disclose the
- 0:28Speaker 2: involvement of other high profile names. Now, House Democrats have
- 0:31Speaker 2: released emails today from Epstein's estate. Now keep in mind
- 0:35Speaker 2: here before I read them, that Donald Trump has always
- 0:38Speaker 2: said he wasn't involved or had any knowledge of Jeffrey
- 0:41Speaker 2: Epstein's crimes. This is one email from April twenty eleven.
- 0:44Speaker 2: Epstein wrote to Gilaine Maxwell. He said, I want you
- 0:47Speaker 2: to realize that the dog that hasn't barked a is Trump.
- 0:50Speaker 2: He also added an unnamed victim spent hours at my
- 0:53Speaker 2: house with him. He has never once been mentioned. And
- 0:56Speaker 2: in twenty nineteen he wrote to the author Michael Wolfe
- 0:59Speaker 2: about Donald trum of coursing you about the girls as
- 1:02Speaker 2: he asked Elaine to stop. Now, the White House sees
- 1:05Speaker 2: these stories and nothing more than bad faith efforts to
- 1:07Speaker 2: distract from his historical accomplishments. The White House is due
- 1:11Speaker 2: to speak at a press briefing in about an hour,
- 1:13Speaker 2: and you can expect that conversation will dominate the press
- 1:16Speaker 2: briefing much.
- 1:17Speaker 1: Where are we at with releasing the full files? So
- 1:20Speaker 1: it hasn't happened yet.
- 1:21Speaker 2: Day, It hasn't happened yet, and the White House sees
- 1:24Speaker 2: there's essentially no need to do so. But I think
- 1:26Speaker 2: this will increase the pressure on them. Caroline Leavitt will
- 1:30Speaker 2: be asked about this and Donald Trump later in the day.
- 1:32Speaker 2: And you know, one of the big issues for Donald
- 1:34Speaker 2: Trump is this just keeps coming up. I think you
- 1:36Speaker 2: said beyond the Grave. It keeps coming up every couple
- 1:38Speaker 2: of weeks, and it's really infuriating Trump and it's really
- 1:41Speaker 2: upsetting many of his base because he campaigned on releasing
- 1:45Speaker 2: all the files. So I think this increases the pressure
- 1:48Speaker 2: to do so.
- 1:48Speaker 1: It does a much Thank you for that much, McCann,
- 1:50Speaker 1: and you is correspondence for.
