- 0:01Speaker 1: Good day, good week, holiday, Christmas. Merry Christmas to everyone
- 0:10Speaker 1: who is alive, I guess, at a good start, you know, because, yeah.
- 0:16Speaker 1: And ghosts, I guess, if there's some ghost. Ghosts, I guess,
- 0:21Speaker 1: do they celebrate things like that? I guess they do. Yeah.
- 0:27Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 0:30Speaker 1: I wonder if it's fun celebrating something if you're a
- 0:32Speaker 1: ghost or not. Like, I wonder if you have a
- 0:34Speaker 1: lot of friends, if you're a ghost. Cause a lot
- 0:38Speaker 1: of times people see one ghost and be like, Oh,
- 0:40Speaker 1: we call it, you know, somebody saw this ghost or whatever.
- 0:43Speaker 1: He was hiding behind a tree or something. He was
- 0:45Speaker 1: just being scared, you know, you know, like, Ooh, just
- 0:49Speaker 1: doing vowels or whatever. Just, Ooh, you know, but they
- 0:54Speaker 1: never like, Oh yeah, we saw some, some ghosts, some
- 0:56Speaker 1: dope ass ghosts. Um, That were just fucking bawling. That
- 1:01Speaker 1: were hooping or something. Or just like, yeah, we saw
- 1:06Speaker 1: some ghosts. They were vaping and laughing together. And maybe
- 1:11Speaker 1: splitting a brownie or something. Or just doing like something fun. Yeah,
- 1:16Speaker 1: I don't know. I never really thought about that. Yeah,
- 1:20Speaker 1: so I don't, yeah. Anyway, doesn't matter. All that matters
- 1:24Speaker 1: is the spirit. The spirit of Christmas. That's what's going on.
- 1:30Speaker 1: right now. It's that time you hear the music. That's
- 1:33Speaker 1: what gets me into it. You know, they say it's
- 1:38Speaker 1: Christmas and they say it's Christmas. Now, uh, a lot
- 1:45Speaker 1: of the, a lot of the radio channels now, it's
- 1:49Speaker 1: like very Latino, you know, it's like, um, They said
- 1:56Speaker 1: the newborn king. And then you'll have one. They said
- 2:05Speaker 1: the newborn king. That's what's up, bro. Last night we
- 2:14Speaker 1: let the liquor talk. But, yeah, I love the Christmas energy.
- 2:20Speaker 1: That's what I got to embrace. You know, see somebody
- 2:24Speaker 1: and you just give them a little hug. Or if
- 2:27Speaker 1: they don't like you to hug them, I'll do this sometimes.
- 2:29Speaker 1: I still take two hands, tap them on the shoulder
- 2:31Speaker 1: like that. Give them that little penguin hug, that little
- 2:37Speaker 1: perverted butterfly hug. Just pat, pat, pat, pat, pat, pat.
- 2:41Speaker 1: Just let them. Some people don't like a damn hug.
- 2:45Speaker 1: Some people don't like a hug. And sometimes I don't.
- 2:47Speaker 1: Sometimes I'm a cactus. Sometimes I'm a cactus. don't touch me,
- 2:57Speaker 1: but sometimes I just want to, I just, I just
- 3:02Speaker 1: want a hug, I won't ask for a hug though,
- 3:07Speaker 1: that's who I am, I ain't no hoe, you feel me, oh, oh, oh, sorry,
- 3:11Speaker 1: I know Santa gets offended if you say I ain't
- 3:13Speaker 1: no hoe, because that's his thing, but yeah, you know,
- 3:19Speaker 1: I won't ask for a hug. I'll stand by you
- 3:22Speaker 1: and look like I need a hug or do some
- 3:26Speaker 1: shit or just do some shit like this, you know.
- 3:30Speaker 1: What's up? But I won't be the one to ask
- 3:34Speaker 1: for a hug. But I'll need a hug. But I
- 3:39Speaker 1: won't ask for a hug. Now I'll stand by you like,
- 3:41Speaker 1: you know, I'll loiter. I'll loiter right around your arms
- 3:45Speaker 1: and chest. but I won't ask for that hug, but
- 3:49Speaker 1: I need it, but I won't ask for it. So
- 3:53Speaker 1: that's kind of who I am. Let's listen to a
- 3:54Speaker 1: little music to get us in the spirit. And then
- 3:56Speaker 1: we're just going to get into some calls from you guys. Um,
- 4:00Speaker 1: and thank you so much. Uh, thank you so much for, uh,
- 4:04Speaker 1: just letting us be together right now. That's really nice.
- 4:11Speaker 1: Here we go right here. This is, uh, some sounds
- 4:16Speaker 1: we like to check out every year. And this is
- 4:18Speaker 1: Christmas Miracle by One Man Quartet. Mmm, that's nice. Mmm.
- 4:40Speaker 1: What's happening, homes?
- 4:43Speaker 3: Mmm. Mmm.
- 4:48Speaker 1: This is like nighttime kind of. There's a candle maybe.
- 4:57Speaker 1: This is Santa. We're waiting for Santa. Everything's out and
- 4:59Speaker 1: the kids are asleep. This is kind of just the
- 5:04Speaker 1: ambiance that's in the energy downstairs if you sneak downstairs
- 5:06Speaker 1: and look at the tree. That was the most fun.
- 5:15Speaker 1: That was the most fun as a kid was sneaking
- 5:17Speaker 1: down there and look, you'd be like, oh, is he
- 5:19Speaker 1: here yet? And you knew he wasn't there. It was
- 5:21Speaker 1: just like 1030 at night, the Christmas Eve. And you'd
- 5:24Speaker 1: go down there and my siblings would all like, we
- 5:29Speaker 1: had to come down the stairs and then go like
- 5:31Speaker 1: around the edge of the wall. And then you could
- 5:33Speaker 1: kind of see the living room and stuff. There was
- 5:36Speaker 1: still like a little dinner table, but then you could
- 5:39Speaker 1: see the living room. And yeah, that was, it was
- 5:45Speaker 1: just like, is he here? Did he come? And we
- 5:48Speaker 1: would all kind of like bottleneck at the bottom of
- 5:50Speaker 1: the stairs in our pajamas and shit. And we would like,
- 5:54Speaker 1: we would be like, dude, no, you're not going, you're
- 5:57Speaker 1: not going. And our sisters, they were little. So they
- 5:59Speaker 1: were like, fuck, you know, they didn't have any rights
- 6:01Speaker 1: or whatever at the time. Cause they were women also. And, um,
- 6:05Speaker 1: and so we had to, you're like, you're not going,
- 6:07Speaker 1: we'll tell you what we see, you know? And they're like,
- 6:09Speaker 1: tell us what you see. And then we'd sneak around.
- 6:14Speaker 1: And then once we got around, my brother was older
- 6:16Speaker 1: than me, so then he took jurisdiction. But he also
- 6:19Speaker 1: had bad eyesight. He was born, I think he didn't have,
- 6:23Speaker 1: his levels in his eyes were off. He didn't have
- 6:26Speaker 1: enough water in his eyes or something. So he'd have
- 6:29Speaker 1: to fucking, he'd have to splash water in his fucking
- 6:32Speaker 1: eyes every 40 minutes so he could even get a
- 6:33Speaker 1: gander at anything. Shit, I remember at his birthday, he'd
- 6:37Speaker 1: miss the candles if he didn't rub a little bit
- 6:39Speaker 1: of water in his eyes just to kind of, You know,
- 6:42Speaker 1: sometimes if you heat up some leftovers, like I'll drip
- 6:48Speaker 1: a little water on them. That's me. I'll crack open
- 6:52Speaker 1: a leftover if it's in a container. I'll pour, you know,
- 6:55Speaker 1: about an 11th of a cup of water on that, whatever.
- 6:58Speaker 1: I don't care what it is. Lasagna, piece of bread, whatever, sassia,
- 7:02Speaker 1: whatever's going on. You know, hint of spice, hint of tomato.
- 7:07Speaker 1: I will pour some. I'll just drip that bitch out.
- 7:11Speaker 1: and then put it in the micro, and bam. But
- 7:14Speaker 1: that was like my brother. If we didn't, you know,
- 7:17Speaker 1: if mom didn't spray a little bit of water in
- 7:18Speaker 1: his eyes right before he blew out the candles on
- 7:21Speaker 1: his birthday cake, he'd miss that bitch. He'd just be
- 7:28Speaker 1: spraying a cold right out into the distance, miss the
- 7:31Speaker 1: whole cake. But anyway, so at that point, you know,
- 7:35Speaker 1: my brother would be like, and once we turned the
- 7:38Speaker 1: corner of the stairs, it was me and him. So
- 7:40Speaker 1: my sisters were like at the back and they didn't
- 7:44Speaker 1: know shit. And they only knew what we told them
- 7:46Speaker 1: and we lied to them because we were family. And
- 7:50Speaker 1: so we would go and have to get closer to
- 7:52Speaker 1: the tree and sneak up. And my mom's bedroom was
- 7:54Speaker 1: right off of the living room. And so we had
- 7:58Speaker 1: to be quiet. And the carpet was kind of wet
- 8:01Speaker 1: because our apartment was sinking a little bit, like by
- 8:03Speaker 1: the kitchen area. And so you fucking, bro, your knees
- 8:06Speaker 1: would start getting all wet. But it helped my brother
- 8:09Speaker 1: because he could just put his hands into the carpet
- 8:10Speaker 1: and then rub them into his eyes and activate those bitches.
- 8:14Speaker 1: So we would get closer and be like, is he here?
- 8:16Speaker 3: Is he here?
- 8:18Speaker 1: And then we would just see. We would see the
- 8:20Speaker 1: tree and the lights. And it would just kind of
- 8:23Speaker 1: look like it had during the daytime a little bit.
- 8:25Speaker 1: Like definitely more mysterious and nighttimey. And the stockings. And
- 8:31Speaker 1: it was all just kind of magical. it was just
- 8:38Speaker 1: like a thing of like possibility, you know, what were
- 8:42Speaker 1: we going to get? What was going to happen tomorrow?
- 8:44Speaker 1: Everything was going to be great. Something new was coming,
- 8:49Speaker 1: you know, it was just, yeah, there was just, I
- 8:54Speaker 1: don't know. There was just something just so magical about
- 8:56Speaker 1: that scenario. And I remember we had the colored lights
- 9:00Speaker 1: on the Christmas tree and I didn't really like them.
- 9:01Speaker 1: They looked a little cheesy. I thought sometimes, but at
- 9:06Speaker 1: this time at night, It just looked kind of nice.
- 9:10Speaker 1: And the stockings just hang in there. And he'd be like, oh,
- 9:15Speaker 1: we'd have to just, oh, go back, go back. My
- 9:18Speaker 1: brother would be like, go back, you little f *
- 9:20Speaker 1: * * head or whatever. And I'm like, what? And
- 9:26Speaker 1: we'd get back to the stairs. And my sisters would
- 9:31Speaker 1: be like, what did you see? And I'd be like, fucking.
- 9:37Speaker 1: Cause yeah, we just as kind of family we were. And, uh,
- 9:40Speaker 1: but yeah, there was just something beautiful about it, but no,
- 9:42Speaker 1: we'd be like, he's not here. Or sometimes we would
- 9:46Speaker 1: do this. Yes. All the gifts are out there. He
- 9:49Speaker 1: already came, but you guys have to go to bed.
- 9:52Speaker 1: We would kind of take this superior role with a lie.
- 9:56Speaker 1: He'd be like, he already came, but you guys have
- 9:57Speaker 1: to go to bed. Or maybe he's not coming. I
- 10:01Speaker 1: don't know. We're one of y'all bad this year. What
- 10:03Speaker 1: have you guys been doing? Who's been showing their tits
- 10:06Speaker 1: or whatever out on the street, right by the highway.
- 10:08Speaker 1: Cause we did live by a highway right next to
- 10:11Speaker 1: that bitch. Like if your hair was wet in the morning,
- 10:14Speaker 1: you could put it right outside. If they're like right,
- 10:16Speaker 1: hanging out the window at the apartment, And in the morning,
- 10:19Speaker 1: you know, that was high traffic time. And if enough
- 10:21Speaker 1: semis went by, just the wind would whip up and
- 10:23Speaker 1: just dry your shit right into a beautiful look. God,
- 10:27Speaker 1: you'd look good. And people are like, what do you
- 10:31Speaker 1: have in your head? You like fucking 18 speed? You know,
- 10:35Speaker 1: I got a damn, I got a damn Mac. I got, oh,
- 10:39Speaker 1: just new wins off a Mac truck. So, but that
- 10:43Speaker 1: was fun, man. That was a good time. And that,
- 10:45Speaker 1: that music reminds me of that a little bit. God,
- 10:49Speaker 1: those memories were nice. You know, memories are so nice
- 10:53Speaker 1: because it can really take you into a place. Oh,
- 11:02Speaker 1: this is another song. This is hip hop ready for Christmas.
- 11:06Speaker 1: Let's listen to a little bit of this. Okay. Type shit.
- 11:25Speaker 4: Christmas, Christmas, Christmas.
- 11:40Speaker 1: Okay, this one Christmas is going to get a little
- 11:42Speaker 1: bit black. You know what I'm saying? Santa pulling up.
- 11:51Speaker 1: This is the kind of look like, say if you're
- 11:53Speaker 1: a white guy and you see it, you're in high
- 11:55Speaker 1: school and you see your sister talking to, flirting with
- 11:59Speaker 1: a black guy and you're okay with it. This is
- 12:03Speaker 1: the kind of music that backs that up. Like, all right.
- 12:08Speaker 4: Okay.
- 12:09Speaker 1: Go ahead, Allison. She doing her shit. So that's that
- 12:17Speaker 1: kind of, that's a Christmas beat right there. I feel
- 12:18Speaker 1: like that kind of fits, you know? Yeah, if you
- 12:22Speaker 1: see your sister flirting with black guys at school and
- 12:24Speaker 1: you're okay with it. That's that heartbeat right there, that
- 12:29Speaker 1: black heartbeat. Dude, you ever heard of black heartbeat? That shit,
- 12:36Speaker 1: it's different, bro. Go put your ear up to a
- 12:40Speaker 1: black guy's chest, dude, which I know sounds very dangerous, right? Overall, it's, yeah. black,
- 12:46Speaker 1: they're not going to welcome that. They're not, they're not
- 12:48Speaker 1: going to do it. You know, a lot of them turn,
- 12:50Speaker 1: turn into that guy. Who's that guy on, uh, that
- 12:53Speaker 1: place for golden state or whatever that always beat people
- 12:56Speaker 1: in the media, acting like it was okay all the time.
- 12:58Speaker 1: He would just punch white dudes. Draymond.
- 13:01Speaker 2: Yes.
- 13:02Speaker 1: Yes. That dude. That, yeah. Which shit seemed hella racial
- 13:09Speaker 1: to me, but, um, But yeah, that dude that was always,
- 13:15Speaker 1: I think he did hit a mixed guy also. But yeah,
- 13:19Speaker 1: so I'm just saying, some guys, you can put your
- 13:21Speaker 1: ear up to their chest, they might be okay with it.
- 13:23Speaker 1: Some guys might get Draymond on you. But I think
- 13:27Speaker 1: a black heartbeat is different. That shit got drums, it
- 13:30Speaker 1: got probably some 808s, trap beat. Like if you ever
- 13:32Speaker 1: go to a doctor's office and he puts the stethoscope
- 13:35Speaker 1: and he puts it up to a black guy's heart,
- 13:37Speaker 1: he'll listen sometimes for 20 minutes. There's different tracks, there's fucking,
- 13:41Speaker 1: you'll have somebody feature on somebody's heartbeat. You're like, holy shit,
- 13:45Speaker 1: this heartbeat has, there's a, you know, there's little dirks
- 13:48Speaker 1: on it. You know, there's a young boy and Bailey Zimmerman, like,
- 13:53Speaker 1: what's going on? So, like, damn, holy shit, what are you,
- 13:59Speaker 1: you got some big X the plug in you. So
- 14:01Speaker 1: there's that that happens where, oh, the white heartbeat is
- 14:04Speaker 1: just like, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom.
- 14:09Speaker 1: But that black heartbeat, that shit's got it's got cymbals,
- 14:13Speaker 1: it's got, it's just got different, you know, it's got
- 14:16Speaker 1: different levels, they got a horn section, that shit's trapping, bro,
- 14:29Speaker 1: so that's what I'm saying, bro, this shit has a
- 14:31Speaker 1: little bit of that Black Heartbeat vibe right here. So
- 14:53Speaker 1: there we go. A little bit more Christmas music right
- 14:55Speaker 1: there getting into it. We did have some calls that
- 14:59Speaker 1: came in. The hotline is always 985-664-9503. And we had
- 15:03Speaker 1: talked about some things in the last episode we'd spoken
- 15:08Speaker 1: about you know, people doing different challenges. There was a
- 15:16Speaker 1: Movember where you grow out a mustache for, uh, epilepsy
- 15:21Speaker 1: or whatever. I can't remember. Um, or there was six shit, uh,
- 15:28Speaker 1: June or whatever. What was it? 16 shit June. Yeah.
- 15:32Speaker 1: 16 shit June where people were only doing 16, um,
- 15:35Speaker 1: defecates in June for, um, To support seizures or whatever?
- 15:41Speaker 1: I'm not even sure what it was. I think it
- 15:42Speaker 1: was seizures. Let me see. Let me look that up.
- 15:46Speaker 4: Six....
- 15:48Speaker 1: Sixteen, sorry.
- 15:49Speaker 4: Sixteen. Shit.
- 15:53Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 15:54Speaker 2: Four seizures.
- 15:56Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 15:57Speaker 1: Yeah, for seizures. So, you had that. You had... No
- 16:00Speaker 1: Nut November. You had 40 Fart March. You had all
- 16:03Speaker 1: these different things that people are trying to do to support,
- 16:06Speaker 1: to raise causes. You know, like, remember a couple years
- 16:08Speaker 1: ago they were dumping ice on people with Down Syndrome
- 16:12Speaker 1: or whatever to help them out. But, yeah. Anyway, we
- 16:18Speaker 1: had some calls in with people saying, well, what were
- 16:21Speaker 1: similar things like that that they'd had in their town?
- 16:23Speaker 1: Is there another one that you remember, Trevin? I think
- 16:26Speaker 1: it was actually 11 Shit June to get specific, so
- 16:28Speaker 1: less than.
- 16:30Speaker 1: Oh, anyways, talking about a call that came.
- 16:34Speaker 2: In that I remembered. No.
- 16:35Speaker 1: Was there any other ones that you remember that people
- 16:38Speaker 1: do annually? Oh, yeah. 2000 September. Oh, yes. People only
- 16:43Speaker 1: taking a certain amount of steps in a certain month. Oh,
- 16:46Speaker 1: sober October. That's another one. That's a big one. So
- 16:49Speaker 1: there's these things that start to happen. And then people
- 16:52Speaker 1: called in with a few of their own. So let's
- 16:54Speaker 1: hit them right here. Here we go. Hey, CEO.
- 16:58Speaker 6: This is Sonny from Phoenix, Arizona. And I just wanted
- 17:01Speaker 6: to tell you that every.
- 17:03Speaker 1: Sonny. It's Sonny in Phoenix. Come on, guy. Sorry. But
- 17:16Speaker 1: that's a sound I would make if I were a cat.
- 17:18Speaker 1: I'd be like... And then every now and then I'd
- 17:21Speaker 1: be like, you're a f * * * g it
- 17:22Speaker 1: or whatever. Anyway, let's hear more, brother. Thank you for calling.
- 17:25Speaker 6: Year here in Phoenix.
- 17:27Speaker 3: We do a little thing called No Burr October.
- 17:31Speaker 6: It's where you don't actually get cold all October long.
- 17:36Speaker 5: And, you know, it's actually not something that anyone is
- 17:38Speaker 5: trying to do.
- 17:39Speaker 6: It's just circumstantially so hot here in Phoenix that no
- 17:43Speaker 6: one ever.
- 17:43Speaker 3: Gets cold the entire month of October.
- 17:46Speaker 7: You have to wear, like, no shirt on Halloween.
- 17:51Speaker 6: You got to wear a slutty costume on Halloween just
- 17:53Speaker 6: to survive.
- 17:54Speaker 1: I don't know. It sounds like you're just trying to
- 17:56Speaker 1: meet guys or whatever out there. But whatever, dude, I
- 17:59Speaker 1: agree with you. It's a very sunburned area. You know,
- 18:03Speaker 1: I lived out there in Tucson for a little while.
- 18:04Speaker 1: You'll get sunburned just looking at, you know, you go
- 18:08Speaker 1: outside and you're sunburned. You don't know what to do. Dude,
- 18:12Speaker 1: I would go to get the mail and I wouldn't
- 18:14Speaker 1: know how to get back home. I would be dehydrated.
- 18:17Speaker 1: I would have to, you know, I'd have to have
- 18:19Speaker 1: somebody from the cartel help me get back to my yard,
- 18:21Speaker 1: hire a coyote.
- 18:22Speaker 3: Okay.
- 18:23Speaker 1: To get me to. So yeah, it's alarmingly hot out there. Um,
- 18:29Speaker 1: but you know, it, that's the crazy thing. Sometimes people
- 18:32Speaker 1: are like, man, it's, I can't believe it's, it's so
- 18:34Speaker 1: hot today. Like no shit. It was, it was hot yesterday.
- 18:39Speaker 1: It was hot 700 days ago. It was hot 58
- 18:41Speaker 1: days ago. So you just don't know patterns. That's the problem.
- 18:46Speaker 1: You don't know how patterns work, dude. The deer, the
- 18:52Speaker 1: reindeers are coming. Dude, the first time you had a
- 18:56Speaker 1: Mexican dude like singing like Christmas carols, like early Mexican
- 19:02Speaker 1: dudes that came to America, they didn't fucking know the
- 19:05Speaker 1: words to them bitches, homie. They did not know the
- 19:08Speaker 1: words to the Christmas carols, you know?
- 19:11Speaker 8: They'd be like, I'm dreaming of a Christmas for whites
- 19:21Speaker 8: and others.
- 19:23Speaker 1: You know, I'd like to be changing the lyrics to
- 19:25Speaker 1: try to diversify the portfolio a bit. And I respect it,
- 19:29Speaker 1: but that's, you know, it's just kind of wild, you know?
- 19:31Speaker 1: Maybe like, Arruda, nos rentes, y remerien, eh, eh, bebe.
- 19:42Speaker 1: They were just fucking kind of, hey, what's up, huh?
- 19:45Speaker 1: Let me see that skirt, mommy. You're like, what the fuck? Anyway,
- 19:50Speaker 1: let's hear another one that came in. Yeah, no burr.
- 19:54Speaker 1: There's no burr out there. It ain't cold at all.
- 19:56Speaker 1: Let's see what we got here. Another one came on.
- 20:00Speaker 3: What up, Theo? Jason here.
- 20:03Speaker 1: Good day, Jason, and happy Merry Christmas to you, brother.
- 20:07Speaker 5: Onward.
- 20:09Speaker 3: So you asked on episode 629 to give some recommendations
- 20:13Speaker 3: for things like No Nut November and such. One of
- 20:17Speaker 3: the coolest ones that I started doing about five years
- 20:19Speaker 3: ago was Every Day of May Challenge. So for Every
- 20:22Speaker 3: Day of May, I do a certain amount of push-ups.
- 20:24Speaker 3: It started off with Every Day of May, I'm going
- 20:26Speaker 3: to do 100 push-ups. Two years ago, my Every Day
- 20:30Speaker 3: of May Challenge was Every Day of May, I'll do
- 20:33Speaker 3: 500 push-ups a day, every day.
- 20:34Speaker 1: 500 push-ups? Man, you're going to be up. You're going
- 20:37Speaker 1: to be all the way up. What? That's amazing. Elmwood?
- 20:42Speaker 3: Every day of May, I'll do 500 push-ups a day.
- 20:45Speaker 3: Every day of May. I think it's a really good
- 20:48Speaker 3: thing to push on to people. I think it's a
- 20:51Speaker 3: great way to kick off. It's like the middle of
- 20:54Speaker 3: the year. We've kind of all pissed off with our,
- 20:57Speaker 3: you know, we stopped doing our yearly, uh, what are
- 21:00Speaker 3: they called? New Year's revolution or new years.
- 21:03Speaker 9: Yeah.
- 21:03Speaker 1: You don't even know what it's called, dude. So obviously
- 21:05Speaker 1: you're not getting it done and that's fine. Sorry.
- 21:08Speaker 3: Go up more, more, uh, resolutions where you, you know,
- 21:12Speaker 3: I'm going to work out this year. Everyone's kind of
- 21:15Speaker 3: stopped already, but, but you know about that one, since
- 21:18Speaker 3: you did not call it out, want to let you
- 21:20Speaker 3: know that, Love you, Theo. All of us fans love you.
- 21:23Speaker 3: You're the best.
- 21:25Speaker 1: Thank you, brother. I appreciate the nice words, man. Every
- 21:28Speaker 1: day in May, that's a nice one. Because it kind
- 21:31Speaker 1: of takes on a challenge, you know? There was this
- 21:34Speaker 1: thing that was going around a while back. It was
- 21:35Speaker 1: like 76 hard or something. And it was like you
- 21:38Speaker 1: had to meet somebody that was born in 1976 and
- 21:41Speaker 1: show them your cock, you feel me? Anyway, yeah. But
- 21:47Speaker 1: that's an old trucker joke. But, uh, but yeah, I
- 21:52Speaker 1: like that every day in May. Cause that you're saying, Hey,
- 21:55Speaker 1: I'm gonna do something here. Cause people have new year's
- 21:58Speaker 1: revolutions and them bitches are horrible. You know, my buddies
- 22:02Speaker 1: was like, yeah, he's like, I'm not going to stalk
- 22:03Speaker 1: my ex and I'm going to learn a new language.
- 22:06Speaker 1: I'm like, well, that's good. It's a lot, you know,
- 22:09Speaker 1: it just could be a lot. So anyway, I don't
- 22:12Speaker 1: know what I'm talking about. Who cares? It's the end
- 22:15Speaker 1: of the year, dude. I used up all my good
- 22:17Speaker 1: words throughout the year. I'm at the bottom of the bag, dude.
- 22:21Speaker 1: I'm just down here shaking vowels around, you know? You
- 22:25Speaker 1: know what stopped me from investing in the past was
- 22:28Speaker 1: just that I didn't know. I didn't know the value
- 22:33Speaker 1: of putting away a little bit at a time. I
- 22:36Speaker 1: didn't know that it builds on itself. that it can
- 22:39Speaker 1: create more, which can create more. I didn't know that
- 22:43Speaker 1: time was really my greatest asset. I felt like I

- 24:47Speaker 1: That's a good one. Every day in May. Here we go.
- 24:50Speaker 1: We got another one that came in.
- 24:51Speaker 9: Hey, CEO. This is Charlie from Cincinnati.
- 24:56Speaker 1: Charlie from Cincinnati. Shout out, Charlie, boy.
- 25:03Speaker 9: Hey, I just wanted to call in and comment on the,
- 25:07Speaker 9: you know, you talking about 2000 September. We got, oh,
- 25:11Speaker 9: what do you say, 11 shit June?
- 25:13Speaker 1: It's 16, but yes, onward.
- 25:16Speaker 9: You know, me and my family, a lot of times
- 25:19Speaker 9: around the holidays, what we'll do, you know, we'll do a,
- 25:21Speaker 9: and maybe not me personally, but I know a lot
- 25:25Speaker 9: of the ladies in my family, they like to do
- 25:27Speaker 9: a 40-queef Kwanzaa.
- 25:30Speaker 1: Ooh, 40-queef Kwanzaa, wow. Yeah, I, yeah, I didn't even
- 25:36Speaker 1: know it, you know, Gesundheit. Yeah, let me get you,
- 25:41Speaker 1: let me get your family a box of Kleenex, brother.
- 25:43Speaker 1: Let's hear more, brother.
- 25:45Speaker 3: As you know what I'm saying.
- 25:48Speaker 9: Let me know if you know anybody in your life
- 25:52Speaker 9: that likes to do a 40-piece Kwanzaa.
- 25:54Speaker 1: Let me let you know. I don't know. You told
- 25:56Speaker 1: us about it, so I don't even know about it.
- 25:59Speaker 1: That's new to me. But that's a great one. That
- 26:02Speaker 1: is a great one, man. And that's tough, I think, to,
- 26:06Speaker 1: I don't know how you exactly arrange that. Because I
- 26:10Speaker 1: don't know if that's a seasonal thing. I don't know
- 26:12Speaker 1: if that's definitely like something that happens more in the
- 26:13Speaker 1: spring to women. because of, uh, pollen, if that's a bigger,
- 26:22Speaker 1: if that brings it on or whatever. Um, all right,
- 26:27Speaker 1: let's get another couple of calls here that came in.
- 26:31Speaker 7: Uh, I've been, uh, I've been watching you for a
- 26:37Speaker 7: while and I really like, uh, I really, it really helps, uh,
- 26:41Speaker 7: with the situations people go through hearing them out and, uh,
- 26:45Speaker 7: It just makes everything easier. Right now I'm going through
- 26:47Speaker 7: a situation I didn't ever think I would be the
- 26:49Speaker 7: one to be calling you, but things end up how
- 26:52Speaker 7: they are. I just need some advice right now and
- 26:55Speaker 7: I don't know what to do. My girlfriend, I've been
- 26:59Speaker 7: with my girlfriend for four years.
- 27:01Speaker 1: Okay, thank you brother for sharing that information. Let's hear more.
- 27:04Speaker 7: She's basically, I'm 22 to start off.
- 27:08Speaker 1: I'm 22, she's 19.
- 27:08Speaker 3: We started dating young.
- 27:14Speaker 7: About four years ago, and she really changed my life.
- 27:18Speaker 7: I wasn't on the right path, and she helped me
- 27:21Speaker 7: out a lot. She got me through addiction. She got
- 27:24Speaker 7: me through all of my problems in my life, and
- 27:28Speaker 7: I left my house to be with her. I left
- 27:30Speaker 7: my home with my family when I was 18 years old.
- 27:32Speaker 7: I wasn't living in an ideal spot, so I decided
- 27:36Speaker 7: to leave and pursue a life with her. We've been
- 27:40Speaker 7: up and down over the years, but it just came
- 27:41Speaker 7: to a point where I guess she got bored or
- 27:44Speaker 7: tired or I don't know. Cause she, she just lost
- 27:48Speaker 7: interest in me. And we recently decided to split, not split,
- 27:52Speaker 7: but just like take a break. And I left the
- 27:55Speaker 7: apartment that we lived in for a little bit to
- 27:56Speaker 7: go be with my family just for like a month
- 27:58Speaker 7: or two, just to take some time apart. And, um,
- 28:02Speaker 7: I just received the text a week ago that she
- 28:05Speaker 7: ended up getting pregnant by another guy.
- 28:09Speaker 3: And, um, it's just, uh, It just hurts.
- 28:14Speaker 7: I just don't know what to do. I don't know
- 28:15Speaker 7: who to tell. I don't know.
- 28:17Speaker 1: Well, thanks for letting us know what's going on, brother. Yeah,
- 28:22Speaker 1: if you leave your apartment for a month or something
- 28:25Speaker 1: and somebody and your ex or your girl gets pregnant,
- 28:29Speaker 1: that's a tough thing. That's wild. You know, if I'm
- 28:36Speaker 1: real honest with you, when you talked about the buildup
- 28:37Speaker 1: to you guys' relationship, you said that You know, she
- 28:41Speaker 1: helped you get through addiction. She helped you with this
- 28:42Speaker 1: and she kind of helped solve all your problems and
- 28:45Speaker 1: you guys moved in together. It felt like to me
- 28:50Speaker 1: that you were putting way too many, you was putting
- 28:54Speaker 1: way too many candles on the altar of her for y'all's,
- 28:59Speaker 1: for your wellbeing. You know, like she's the reason for
- 29:04Speaker 1: all of these things as opposed to you are the
- 29:06Speaker 1: reason for some of them. Or you guys' union, I think,
- 29:11Speaker 1: can be a catalyst for more positivity. But to put
- 29:14Speaker 1: that much energy where it's like, she was the reason
- 29:17Speaker 1: everything got better and I left my family to be
- 29:19Speaker 1: with her. It just, that feels like it's a lot.
- 29:24Speaker 1: It felt like a lot of pressure, which is okay, bro.
- 29:27Speaker 1: I mean, I definitely, yeah, I put, yeah, I had like,
- 29:30Speaker 1: when I was in a relationship, it would be like,
- 29:33Speaker 1: this girl was.
- 29:34Speaker 3: Almost like, you know, it'd be like.
- 29:36Speaker 1: A girlfriend, but also it's like times. She was like,
- 29:38Speaker 1: she was like my mother. It was just like, there
- 29:40Speaker 1: was all this weird other energy that I was attaching
- 29:42Speaker 1: that I didn't know it to the relationship I was in.
- 29:46Speaker 1: So I was expecting like this girlfriend to be so
- 29:51Speaker 1: many things. Um, and more than a human could really be. Cause, uh,
- 29:58Speaker 1: you know, you got to be, you know, you got
- 30:00Speaker 1: to stand on your own business of your, of your
- 30:02Speaker 1: own feelings in your heart. You got to have 10
- 30:05Speaker 1: toes on you. So, yeah, I just felt like, man,
- 30:11Speaker 1: it felt like you were putting a lot on that
- 30:15Speaker 1: and no judgment. I'm not judging. I'm just kind of
- 30:17Speaker 1: looking at it.
- 30:19Speaker 4: Dude.
- 30:19Speaker 1: Yeah. I was like, Oh, I, one time I stayed
- 30:24Speaker 1: with a girl that I was, You know, I thought
- 30:26Speaker 1: I was in love with them, but really I was just,
- 30:28Speaker 1: I didn't want to be alone type shit. I also, dude,
- 30:33Speaker 1: I once stayed with a girl. This is the worst
- 30:35Speaker 1: thing to even admit. God, I feel horrible. I stayed
- 30:38Speaker 1: with a girl that I couldn't stand. I couldn't really
- 30:42Speaker 1: stand her. I loved her also, though, at the same time.
- 30:46Speaker 1: And that's how love works. You know what I'm saying? Love,
- 30:49Speaker 1: I'll give you a bouquet of flowers, but it don't
- 30:51Speaker 1: have a uh. It don't have a knife in the
- 30:53Speaker 1: middle of it. You know, that's just how love is.
- 30:58Speaker 1: But dude, I stayed with this girl one time because
- 30:59Speaker 1: I didn't want her to find a guy. I didn't
- 31:02Speaker 1: want her to find a guy that would actually care
- 31:06Speaker 1: about her. That's crazy, bro. That's crazy. And I feel,
- 31:12Speaker 1: I didn't know at the time that's what I was doing. And,
- 31:16Speaker 1: but yeah, that's what I was like, man, I'm not
- 31:18Speaker 1: breaking up with her because she might find somebody that
- 31:20Speaker 1: actually cares about her. Fuck, that's crazy. Does that sound
- 31:26Speaker 1: too crazy to even say, Trevin? No, I mean, I
- 31:28Speaker 1: think it's like the mentality, if I can't have her,
- 31:30Speaker 1: no one can. Yeah. Yeah, just like desperate young shit.
- 31:37Speaker 1: You know, that Romeo and Julian type shit. You know?
- 31:44Speaker 1: And that's the street version of Romeo and Juliet, Romeo
- 31:47Speaker 1: and Julian, bro. And that's gay, too, bro. Romeo and
- 31:52Speaker 1: Julian sounds hella gay. Hollywood will probably come out with
- 31:55Speaker 1: it in a week. Romeo and Julian. All right. Fuck it.
- 32:03Speaker 1: I forgot to even give this guy a suggestion, but yeah,
- 32:05Speaker 1: I think if she got, I think it's just, it's,
- 32:07Speaker 1: it's time to let it go. It's time to move on.
- 32:10Speaker 6: And, and.
- 32:12Speaker 1: It's time to tell yourself like, uh, because it's, it's, it's,
- 32:18Speaker 1: it's tough to put the responsibility of our own feelings
- 32:22Speaker 1: about ourself onto ourself. It's easy if I can be like, oh,
- 32:29Speaker 1: if she's mad at me or if this is good
- 32:31Speaker 1: or this is always a problem with her, then that
- 32:36Speaker 1: keeps me from dealing with anything about me. You know,
- 32:41Speaker 1: I would always have a problem when I was in
- 32:42Speaker 1: an early relationship. I would always have a jealous, ton
- 32:45Speaker 1: of jealousy. Oh, I was so jealous. So... Yeah, I
- 32:54Speaker 1: think it's tough, bro. It's tough to look at ourselves.
- 32:59Speaker 1: Because if I have somebody else, then, you know, but
- 33:05Speaker 1: if I just got me, oh, how scary does that feel?
- 33:12Speaker 1: That's why when I see a candle, I'm always like,
- 33:13Speaker 1: that bitch is brave. When I see a fire, that's
- 33:18Speaker 1: just like a big orgy or whatever. That's just a
- 33:20Speaker 1: big orgy. But I see a candle. I'm like, damn,
- 33:23Speaker 1: that bitch is standing on business right there. So, yeah.
- 33:31Speaker 2: Look, man.
- 33:32Speaker 1: And if they're having a child or they're in love
- 33:33Speaker 1: or something, don't get in there and be raising that
- 33:35Speaker 1: child or whatever. Buying that little, little, little, little, little tot.
- 33:40Speaker 1: Don't be buying that little whippersnapper or a little bicycle
- 33:43Speaker 1: or whatever. Or get him a little shiffer robe or something.
- 33:47Speaker 1: Don't be doing all of that shit. Don't go down
- 33:49Speaker 1: that path. I think you gotta stand on your own
- 33:52Speaker 1: shit and get out into your own life, bruh. That's
- 33:57Speaker 1: what I feel like. And also, God bless, bruh, type shit.
- 34:00Speaker 1: I'm gonna do a hat toss for you, bruh. Shout
- 34:07Speaker 1: out to 845 Hat Toss, bruh. All right. We got
- 34:12Speaker 1: a thang right here. This fella call up.
- 34:16Speaker 2: Hey, Theo. Uh, I've just been listening to a couple
- 34:19Speaker 2: of your podcasts a lot recently and I'm thinking about
- 34:22Speaker 2: proposing to my girlfriend, uh, three to almost four years. Um,
- 34:28Speaker 2: what's some advice that you would give on doing that
- 34:31Speaker 2: and what's something I could add into doing it?
- 34:34Speaker 1: Well, look, I think you got to add some, you
- 34:36Speaker 1: have to add some something to it. You have to
- 34:37Speaker 1: add some charm because here's the thing, then engagement is
- 34:40Speaker 1: kind of the first real moment of a marriage, right?
- 34:43Speaker 1: And if that means something, if you put something into that,
- 34:45Speaker 1: you're going to put something in everything. Maybe, I don't know.
- 34:50Speaker 1: That might be out of my mind. I don't know.
- 34:51Speaker 1: But I saw this one the other day, and this
- 34:53Speaker 1: one kind of disappointed me a little bit. And this
- 34:55Speaker 1: is a fella, you can't see this, but this is
- 34:56Speaker 1: a fella in a small home. I believe it's a
- 35:01Speaker 1: trailer home, probably. And he's asking his lady to marry her.
- 35:07Speaker 1: He gets up in the living room near the television.
- 35:11Speaker 1: It looks like Masked Singer or something is on. But
- 35:13Speaker 1: that's not part of the engagement story. It's just he's
- 35:15Speaker 1: standing up. And they got a series of... A pit
- 35:19Speaker 1: bull is running around. Beautiful little animal is running around.
- 35:23Speaker 1: And here we go. He stands up and he's got
- 35:26Speaker 1: a ring with him. Here we go. And he's beckoning
- 35:28Speaker 1: her to get off of the couch to come over
- 35:30Speaker 1: and see him. And I believe the mother-in-law or a
- 35:32Speaker 1: friend is recording.
- 35:33Speaker 4: Let's go. Are you on a fart?
- 35:36Speaker 1: No.
- 35:36Speaker 8: You don't want to dance?
- 35:40Speaker 4: No. Ready?
- 35:47Speaker 7: Ready?
- 35:48Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 35:53Speaker 1: And that's it. She takes the ring, doesn't even hug
- 35:55Speaker 1: the guy, walks over to the sofa. So yeah, it's
- 35:58Speaker 1: just a wild, like, he kind of gets down on
- 36:00Speaker 1: his knees, or he's standing in the living room, and
- 36:02Speaker 1: he's like, come over here. Come here. I mean, that's
- 36:06Speaker 1: not a way to start.
- 36:06Speaker 2: Come here.
- 36:07Speaker 1: Come here! You know, like you're fucking Mortal Kombat, like.
- 36:10Speaker 1: And then, here's the craziest part. She goes, you're going
- 36:15Speaker 1: to fart. Like that's where, you know, and that's almost beautiful,
- 36:19Speaker 1: I guess, in a way, because it's like that if
- 36:25Speaker 1: you did do a nice fart or something during the
- 36:27Speaker 1: holidays that you'd want your loved one to be there
- 36:29Speaker 1: for it. That's, there's something very tribal about that and very, um,
- 36:37Speaker 1: you know, uh, symptomatic or something. Maybe, I don't know, but,
- 36:42Speaker 1: but yeah, but in this instance, you can just tell
- 36:43Speaker 1: it's not. So anyway, Yeah. You don't want to beckon
- 36:48Speaker 1: your girl over to hit the knee to propose. And
- 36:51Speaker 1: she thinks, oh, you're going to fart. And you want
- 36:54Speaker 1: me to get over there and be a witness to it. Now,
- 36:57Speaker 1: also having someone to witness a great fart is, it's nice,
- 37:04Speaker 1: but I think it's also nice. Like one of my
- 37:06Speaker 1: favorite things that Shane Gillis ever told me was that
- 37:11Speaker 1: when he was in high school, they would sit in
- 37:13Speaker 1: the pews because they were at a Catholic school. And
- 37:16Speaker 1: they would sit in the pews during mass. And every
- 37:20Speaker 1: now and then somebody would just rip a butt wrangler
- 37:25Speaker 1: off of the wooden pews during complete silence when all
- 37:31Speaker 1: your friends were in there. And it would just be,
- 37:34Speaker 1: I still think about, I still laugh at that sometimes
- 37:37Speaker 1: when I'm walking around. So yeah, there's different degrees of
- 37:40Speaker 1: handling that. But you want to do something nice. You
- 37:42Speaker 1: want to do something that means something. So just being creative.
- 37:49Speaker 1: Be creative. Get creative. Make something. And it can be silly.
- 37:56Speaker 1: It can be kind of ridiculous. It could be a
- 37:58Speaker 1: scavenger hunt. It could be maybe you feed the ring
- 38:02Speaker 1: to an animal. Maybe you guys like to hunt, right?
- 38:07Speaker 1: So you hide the ring in some feed for an animal.
- 38:11Speaker 1: The animal eats it. Then you guys go out hunt.
- 38:16Speaker 1: hunt the animal. You get the animal butchered or whatever.
- 38:21Speaker 1: And then she, you guys are, you make the meal, bam,
- 38:25Speaker 1: is venison or something. You crack it open. And yeah,
- 38:32Speaker 1: will you marry me? And then, so I'm just, yeah,
- 38:36Speaker 1: there's different ways to do it. But that's it. I
- 38:39Speaker 1: just think make it mean something, man. And whatever that
- 38:41Speaker 1: means to her as well. Like what would make her
- 38:45Speaker 1: think it's nice? What would make her... What would mean something?
- 38:52Speaker 1: You know, just don't let it be a fart, bro.
- 38:57Speaker 1: All right. Let's get into another call or two.
- 39:03Speaker 7: What's up, D.O.? It's Jack from.
- 39:08Speaker 2: Good old Midland, Texas.
- 39:10Speaker 1: We did a shot there in Midland, man. Thank you
- 39:11Speaker 1: for the call, Jack.
- 39:12Speaker 2: Onward.
- 39:14Speaker 6: And.
- 39:16Speaker 5: I don't know.
- 39:17Speaker 6: I was just going to talk about, I feel like
- 39:19Speaker 6: sometimes I get a rush to grow up.
- 39:25Speaker 2: I'm 18 years old.
- 39:27Speaker 7: I graduated high school as a junior.
- 39:31Speaker 3: I'm already working.
- 39:32Speaker 2: Like, I don't know.
- 39:35Speaker 1: Sometimes I just feel like I get in a rush, man.
- 39:37Speaker 2: Like I need to slow down, but I also need
- 39:40Speaker 2: to get my life together. I don't know.
- 39:43Speaker 7: I was just going to see if you had any advice.
- 39:46Speaker 1: Thanks, brother. Thanks. Sorry to cut you off. Thank you.
- 39:50Speaker 1: for the call yeah oh dude I've I've rushed through
- 39:57Speaker 1: everything alright yeah I don't want to be in anything
- 40:02Speaker 1: I don't want to oh I gotta be here I
- 40:05Speaker 1: gotta stay I gotta do yeah I got commitment to
- 40:13Speaker 1: the I got commitment sometimes just to life to moments
- 40:16Speaker 1: I you know it's hard to slow it down enough
- 40:26Speaker 1: But I think also some of that rush is you
- 40:27Speaker 1: want to be able to control things. Well, if I
- 40:29Speaker 1: can get freedom to have some money, if I can
- 40:31Speaker 1: get freedom to have my own place, if I can
- 40:32Speaker 1: get freedom to have my own car, my own wheels,
- 40:35Speaker 1: my own station wagon or whatever, my own wheelbarrow, my
- 40:39Speaker 1: own pressure washer, you know, my own bass boat, my
- 40:43Speaker 1: own girlfriend, you know, then you're controlling. You're not in
- 40:47Speaker 1: anybody else's orbit, really. You're in control of things. So
- 40:51Speaker 1: some of that's kind of nice. You know, when they
- 40:56Speaker 1: say discipline equals freedom as well, I mean, Jocko Willink
- 40:59Speaker 1: preaches that, that you get things going, you get things
- 41:02Speaker 1: organized and get things cracking. I mean, even like I
- 41:07Speaker 1: talk about with that investing app and stuff that I like,
- 41:09Speaker 1: it's like, you know, that planning ahead and that strategizing,
- 41:13Speaker 1: it helps. You know, if I'd have invested a little
- 41:16Speaker 1: bit of change early, I'd have money now. So I
- 41:21Speaker 1: think there's a lot of value to that. But, yeah. But, yeah. Oh, dude,
- 41:30Speaker 1: I always want to get through this to get to that. Oh,
- 41:33Speaker 1: it'll be better then. Let's just get to that. I'm
- 41:37Speaker 1: always out here looking in the distance. And I'll be
- 41:43Speaker 1: tripping over beautiful shit while I'm just looking at who
- 41:48Speaker 1: knows what that's a million miles away. Um, and I
- 41:58Speaker 1: don't know if it's bad or good. I think you're like,
- 42:00Speaker 1: you're saying, like you said, right in here, you said,
- 42:02Speaker 1: let's play it.
- 42:03Speaker 2: Um, I'm already working. Like, I don't know.
- 42:08Speaker 1: Sometimes I just feel like I get in a rush, man.
- 42:11Speaker 2: Like, like I need to slow down, but I also
- 42:13Speaker 2: need to get my life together.
- 42:16Speaker 1: Yeah. Slow down, rush, get, you know, get my life together.
- 42:19Speaker 7: I don't know.
- 42:20Speaker 2: I was just going to see if you had your mind.
- 42:22Speaker 1: Yeah. So that's it, man. You're, you're doing fine. Meditation
- 42:25Speaker 1: will help you slow down for sure to give you
- 42:27Speaker 1: a little bit of peace even in moments of overwhelmingness.
- 42:32Speaker 1: So that might be all you need. You're really sticking
- 42:36Speaker 1: to some meditation, man. That way you can be going fast,
- 42:40Speaker 1: but you're slow on the inside, baby. You're in control.
- 42:43Speaker 1: You got a cockpit. You're not just running around with
- 42:45Speaker 1: your cock. Type shit, boys. Praise God. That's what's up. Hey, Santa.
- 42:51Speaker 4: Hey. Hey.
- 42:55Speaker 1: Let's say you write a letter to Santa telling him
- 42:58Speaker 1: how good you've been this year. And then you hand
- 43:01Speaker 1: it to your mail carrier. But your mail carrier is
- 43:06Speaker 1: the Grinch. There's a reason why you wouldn't let the
- 43:09Speaker 1: Grinch deliver holiday mail. Just like there's a reason why
- 43:13Speaker 1: Morgan & Morgan is America's largest injury law firm. When
- 43:17Speaker 1: you have a problem, you want experts to handle it.

- 43:38Speaker 1: the wrong one and you may be beat before you
- 43:41Speaker 1: even start. If you're ever injured, you can check out

- 43:48Speaker 1: For more information, go to forthepeople.com slash Theo. That's F-O-R thepeople.com
- 43:55Speaker 1: slash T-H-E-O. This is a paid advertisement. Let's see if
- 44:00Speaker 1: one other call came in.
- 44:02Speaker 6: Yeah, so I thought it'd be a fun thing to
- 44:07Speaker 6: take my wife to a raid room and we went
- 44:11Speaker 6: out for dinner first and everything was good. We wasn't
- 44:14Speaker 6: arguing or anything and we went in this raid room Hell,
- 44:18Speaker 6: she started beating the piss out of me. And really
- 44:25Speaker 6: pissed me off. I don't know why she done it,
- 44:30Speaker 6: but kind of turned me on. I wanted to swing back,
- 44:35Speaker 6: but she had a bat in her hand, and that
- 44:39Speaker 6: didn't look too fun. But it would have been kind
- 44:43Speaker 6: of hard to fight her when I was bricked up,
- 44:45Speaker 6: you know. But we went home and had a quiet
- 44:51Speaker 6: ride home. As soon as we got home, I was
- 44:54Speaker 6: so bricked up. I just ended up just plowing that thing,
- 44:59Speaker 6: you know, like, uh-uh. Like, you know what I mean?
- 45:02Speaker 1: Oh, yeah, 40 acres and a mule, baby.
- 45:04Speaker 6: I was wondering your advice on that. I don't even
- 45:07Speaker 6: know what brought it on.
- 45:10Speaker 1: Well, look, there's something. If you watch a woman beat
- 45:12Speaker 1: the shit out of a damn Honda Civic or whatever.
- 45:16Speaker 1: And break all the windows and headlights out of that
- 45:18Speaker 1: bitch with a baseball bat. And you don't get erect.
- 45:28Speaker 1: Then you some kind of little hoe. I mean, shit
- 45:33Speaker 1: like that turned me on, dude. Especially where I grew up, dude.
- 45:38Speaker 1: Every now and then you see a woman come out
- 45:40Speaker 1: there angry at her husband or some guy that was
- 45:43Speaker 1: having sex with her and not... and not claiming her. And, uh,
- 45:49Speaker 1: you'd see a woman come out there and beat the
- 45:50Speaker 1: book and just beat the dang, uh, headlights out of his, um,
- 45:56Speaker 1: Caprice classic. God. Hell yeah. That's something. No, man, there's
- 46:08Speaker 1: nothing wrong with getting erect. If you see a woman
- 46:11Speaker 1: beating the shit out of something with a bat, I mean,
- 46:15Speaker 1: that's why I love the whole movie of League of
- 46:17Speaker 1: Their Own. That's what the whole movie is. So there's
- 46:22Speaker 1: nothing wrong with that. God, yeah. Now, you're all so lucky.
- 46:28Speaker 1: I can't keep an erection around broken glass. Cannot do it. Dude,
- 46:34Speaker 1: if my wiener hears a window shatter within probably 80 yards,
- 46:37Speaker 1: that thing just punks a tiny fill right into my nuts, baby.
- 46:42Speaker 1: That thing won't be out. That thing just saw its shadow, dog.
- 46:47Speaker 1: Eight more weeks of winter down. Yeah. But God, yeah,
- 46:52Speaker 1: I used to love that type of shit. In our neighborhood,
- 46:56Speaker 1: this lady used to make me go sit in her
- 46:58Speaker 1: car with her. And she'd be all drunk drinking daiquiris.
- 47:02Speaker 1: Miss Carol, that was her name. She'd be drinking daiquiris
- 47:04Speaker 1: over there. And she would just tell me, She wished
- 47:11Speaker 1: I was old enough to drive. I wish you were
- 47:13Speaker 1: old enough to drive. I'd let you drive me somewheres. God.
- 47:20Speaker 1: I was so fucking erect. I couldn't even. God, I couldn't.
- 47:25Speaker 1: My fucking scoliosis was cured. I was just like, oh, God.
- 47:31Speaker 1: And then she'd get out. Sometimes she had cut off
- 47:34Speaker 1: pants on and she'd get out and rub her little butt,
- 47:36Speaker 1: like rub the bottom of her butt on the damn
- 47:39Speaker 1: warm headlights of that car that vehicle that's back when
- 47:44Speaker 1: headlights used to get warm them bitches used to get
- 47:46Speaker 1: warm and she'd just be bending over kind of drinking
- 47:49Speaker 1: that daiquiri and rubbing her little tail on that warm
- 47:53Speaker 1: light wish you could drive me yeah damn brother hell
- 48:00Speaker 1: yeah god i couldn't even i didn't have enough blood
- 48:04Speaker 1: flow in my eyes at that moment I just had
- 48:09Speaker 1: so much erection going on. I didn't even have any
- 48:11Speaker 1: blood in my eyes to keep me active. I could
- 48:13Speaker 1: barely see. It's like my damn brother. He had to
- 48:16Speaker 1: come over and rub some of his water in my eyes. Yeah,
- 48:20Speaker 1: it must be a family optical disease that we got
- 48:22Speaker 1: in certain moments. But God is good, brother. At least
- 48:27Speaker 1: you have a wife. At least y'all are going out
- 48:28Speaker 1: and doing something. Yeah, taking your wife to a rage room,
- 48:31Speaker 1: that's cute. All that matters is what am I putting
- 48:35Speaker 1: into the relationship, whether I'm getting married, whether I'm– doing
- 48:39Speaker 1: an engagement, you know, what am I putting into this thing?
- 48:45Speaker 1: Am I trying to make some moments special? Because if
- 48:48Speaker 1: I don't make some moments special, there ain't going to
- 48:50Speaker 1: be no special moments. That's the most I realize just
- 48:53Speaker 1: about life. You know, sometimes I'll be like, man, nothing's exciting. Well,
- 49:00Speaker 1: things just aren't exciting. They're not just going to be magic.
- 49:04Speaker 1: You got to, you know, you got to be your
- 49:06Speaker 1: own David Blaine sometimes. Or Chris Angle. Or Kurt Angle even. Shit,
- 49:12Speaker 1: I don't care if you wear a damn leotard while
- 49:13Speaker 1: you do it or a unitard and body slam somebody.
- 49:18Speaker 1: But you got to bring the magic. Except at Christmas.
- 49:26Speaker 1: That's when there's just something kind of built in, you know?
- 49:30Speaker 1: There's just something kind of special about it. Just that sound,
- 49:35Speaker 1: those kids coming down the stairs. You see that Christmas tree, boy.
- 49:45Speaker 1: And I'd come later at night too. We all would.
- 49:47Speaker 1: I think I, I bet if I asked my siblings,
- 49:49Speaker 1: we all kind of did. People would wake up at
- 49:50Speaker 1: a certain, you just woke up all night during Christmas time.
- 49:55Speaker 1: You sneak down. And at some point the presents would
- 49:59Speaker 1: be out. You're like, oh, they're hiking. And half the
- 50:05Speaker 1: cookies would be, I'd eat one, I'd eat two bites
- 50:07Speaker 1: out of that bitch. Hell, sometimes I'd come down early
- 50:11Speaker 1: and the cookies and milk hadn't been eaten yet. I'd
- 50:14Speaker 1: drink half that bitch and eat one of them bitches.
- 50:16Speaker 1: My mom was like, who was here? But yeah, you
- 50:21Speaker 1: come down and you see that tree all lit up.
- 50:27Speaker 1: And that was one of the nicest times to kind
- 50:29Speaker 1: of go back to bed then. You were just excited.
- 50:34Speaker 1: And it wasn't really about the gifts. It was something
- 50:35Speaker 1: about the magic of it. There was free magic Yeah,
- 50:46Speaker 1: it just meant something. And that was beautiful. Those were
- 50:51Speaker 1: beautiful times. That Christmas spirit. That Christmas spirit, man. There's
- 51:00Speaker 1: something to it. There's something to it. I want to
- 51:04Speaker 1: wish everybody a Merry Christmas. And I'm trying to think
- 51:11Speaker 1: of anything else that needs to be said. You know,
- 51:18Speaker 1: it's a special time of year. It's a special time
- 51:21Speaker 1: to forgive ourselves and forgive others. Just to let go.
- 51:29Speaker 1: Let go of the ways we've done it. Yeah, ask
- 51:36Speaker 1: God to help us have a new year. You know,
- 51:42Speaker 1: the Lord sent his son, baby, that crazy baby. Yes, baby. Yahweh, baby,
- 51:50Speaker 1: to take away the sins of the world. So let
- 51:55Speaker 1: him do it. Let him do it, baby. Lord, drive
- 51:59Speaker 1: a dump truck into my heart and take away all
- 52:05Speaker 1: this confusion, pain, uncertainty, control, anger, hatred, vitriol, And self-infliction.
- 52:20Speaker 1: Take away. Just take it. Take it. And recycle me,
- 52:26Speaker 1: baby boy. Recycle me. Yeah, I love you guys. Thank
- 52:33Speaker 1: you guys so much for letting me be a part
- 52:35Speaker 1: of your year. There is some fun stuff that we're
- 52:39Speaker 1: going to be doing in the new year. I'm excited.
- 52:41Speaker 1: I want to add some new things to the solo
- 52:43Speaker 1: episodes that are uh, that are going to be more
- 52:47Speaker 1: like regular occurring type of things. So I have some like,
- 52:52Speaker 1: just like light plans and strategy. We want to, we
- 52:55Speaker 1: want to talk to more miracles. You know, we've got
- 52:58Speaker 1: a couple of miracles. We had that one fellow that
- 53:00Speaker 1: was doing dope that fell off that building and he
- 53:03Speaker 1: fell 13 stories or whatever. And, uh, he passed by
- 53:07Speaker 1: some of his neighbors, remember, and saw them smoking dope
- 53:09Speaker 1: on their balcony when he went, when he fell pretty crazy.
- 53:12Speaker 1: And then our other fella got hit by two trains, baby.
- 53:16Speaker 1: Two trains! And God, and he survived. He had headphones
- 53:21Speaker 1: on and got hit. Just, whew. God dang, brother, sometimes, whew,
- 53:29Speaker 1: you wish the Lord would just give you a crosswalk.
- 53:34Speaker 1: Give me a crosswalk. Yeah, that was Dalton. Dalton, baby.
- 53:39Speaker 4: Two trains!
- 53:41Speaker 3: Whew.
- 53:44Speaker 1: We got to check in with Dalton, but we need,
- 53:47Speaker 1: we want to add more miracles to next year. If
- 53:49Speaker 1: you have experienced a miracle or someone, you know, in
- 53:51Speaker 1: your life that has experienced a miracle that have felt
- 53:55Speaker 1: the powers of the great beyond, keep them safe in
- 54:00Speaker 1: a moment that could not have happened. Otherwise hit the hotline, nine, eight, five, six, six, four, nine, five,
- 54:06Speaker 1: zero three. Or you can contact the producers through the email.
- 54:11Speaker 1: on the Theovan.com site. Yeah, that's all we got. We're
- 54:17Speaker 1: happy to be alive. And who knows what it looks like.
- 54:20Speaker 1: This may be the last year we're allowed to celebrate Christmas.
- 54:24Speaker 1: I'm not sure what they have planned for us. But
- 54:29Speaker 1: we're going to keep fighting. We're going to keep fighting.
- 54:34Speaker 1: And we're excited to try to do that. And to
- 54:39Speaker 1: learn as we go. Trevin, what are you thinking?
- 54:42Speaker 6: I dig it, man.
- 54:42Speaker 1: Merry Christmas. Merry Christmas to you, too, man. Merry Christmas
- 54:46Speaker 1: to you, too. Our producer put in this note right here.
- 54:51Speaker 1: Our other producer, Zach, Merry Christmas to him. Nick, Andrew Baxter.
- 54:57Speaker 1: Raleigh Mal, who knocked a woman up. Gosh! That's crazy, dude.
- 55:04Speaker 1: But that's how it is, bro. Like, You know, I
- 55:08Speaker 1: think he'd had sex five times and that fifth time
- 55:10Speaker 1: he made a child. Boy. Bro, you got to use
- 55:14Speaker 1: that syrup sparingly, homie. Dang. But it is what it is.
- 55:19Speaker 1: I remember when I learned about condensed milk, dude. The
- 55:21Speaker 1: second I had one taste of that stuff, I was like, dang,
- 55:23Speaker 1: this shit's good. And then you want to use it.
- 55:26Speaker 1: You want it on everything. But you can't put it
- 55:29Speaker 1: on everything, Riley. All right, here we go. One more
- 55:33Speaker 1: call from the hotline before we end the year. And
- 55:38Speaker 1: next week we'll have a best of episode. And then
- 55:40Speaker 1: we may have a week off. I'm not sure. We
- 55:42Speaker 1: may not. We'll see what's going on. But I love
- 55:46Speaker 1: you guys. And you guys be good to yourselves. Thank you.
- 55:50Speaker 1: And thank you for all, just all the support. There's
- 55:52Speaker 1: so many nice things that I never get to say
- 55:54Speaker 1: that happen. Nice messages people send or nice things people
- 55:57Speaker 1: brought out to shows. I mean, just all it does
- 56:04Speaker 1: is like, there's so many, so much, uh, kindness has
- 56:08Speaker 1: been extended towards me by you guys and thank you
- 56:13Speaker 1: I love you and I appreciate it.
- 56:16Speaker 5: Here we go hey Theo my name is Jake and.
- 56:22Speaker 1: What's up Jake thank you for calling onward I'm feeling.
- 56:26Speaker 5: A little emotional right now but in a really good
- 56:30Speaker 5: way I'm in the military I've been in the army
- 56:35Speaker 5: for over six.
- 56:37Speaker 1: Years now Thank you for your service, champ.
- 56:40Speaker 2: Onward.
- 56:41Speaker 5: And I'm currently driving home to go spend Christmas with
- 56:47Speaker 5: my family for the first time in four years. And
- 56:54Speaker 5: I just wanted to thank God that I'm able to
- 57:00Speaker 5: do that. And I want to reach out to all
- 57:03Speaker 5: my fellow soldiers who listen. to your great podcast and
- 57:10Speaker 5: just say, you know, if you're able to go visit
- 57:12Speaker 5: your family, I'm very happy for you. And if you're
- 57:16Speaker 5: not able to, if you have to spend it somewhere
- 57:19Speaker 5: where you don't really want to be, you know, I,
- 57:22Speaker 5: I know how it feels. I know a lot of
- 57:26Speaker 5: other soldiers know how it feels and, you know, it sucks,
- 57:31Speaker 5: but we're here for you and stay strong. I know
- 57:34Speaker 5: it sucks missing holidays, birthdays, you know, kids' birthdays and
- 57:41Speaker 5: all of that. So, you know, thank you, Theo, for
- 57:45Speaker 5: what you do. You've gotten me through a lot of
- 57:48Speaker 5: these years that I've spent away from my family. And,
- 57:52Speaker 5: you know, prayers to you and your team and prayers
- 57:57Speaker 5: to all my fellow soldiers out there spending Christmas with
- 58:00Speaker 5: their family or without them. Love you, brother.
- 58:04Speaker 1: Amen. Amen, man. Yeah, that's the feeling. That's the feeling.
- 58:12Speaker 1: That's the candle. That's the pilot light I needed right there.
- 58:19Speaker 1: When I'm pulling up to my family's or I'm going
- 58:20Speaker 1: to walk into my home just to be grateful that
- 58:23Speaker 1: I get to be there. For the positive or the negative,
- 58:27Speaker 1: whatever it is. For the apple pie or the uncooked
- 58:32Speaker 1: dang chowder or whatever somebody made one time, forgot to
- 58:35Speaker 1: boil the dang things and everybody god dang dysentery whatever
- 58:40Speaker 1: clams or whatever yeah that's the thing for the good
- 58:48Speaker 1: the bad whatever it is that there's people that don't
- 58:51Speaker 1: get it there's kids that have to do their holidays
- 58:55Speaker 1: over zoom with a loved one there's a parent that
- 58:58Speaker 1: has to do that as well a soldier who's having
- 59:03Speaker 1: to make that who's made that choice in their life
- 59:07Speaker 1: And it's a choice they made, but still, it's one
- 59:09Speaker 1: I'm not brave enough to make or haven't been. So yeah,
- 59:15Speaker 1: so to take some time to acknowledge that, pray for
- 59:18Speaker 1: those families and that peace. And yeah, just to know
- 59:24Speaker 1: that you soldiers aren't alone that have to do, put
- 59:27Speaker 1: that energy into the world. These people, they're not alone.
- 59:33Speaker 1: And we pray for them and their kids grow up
- 59:35Speaker 1: healthy and nurtured and taken care of. That we pray
- 59:39Speaker 1: for the confidence of their spouses who are at home
- 59:42Speaker 1: on the front lines with their children, holding things down,
- 59:47Speaker 1: having to kind of be one parent. Not one parent,
- 59:51Speaker 1: but do most of the hands-on parenting. And we pray
- 59:57Speaker 1: for those people and to those soldiers that when they
- 59:59Speaker 1: get to spend time with their comrades during the holidays
- 1:00:01Speaker 1: away from their family, that they feel some sense of
- 1:00:04Speaker 1: joy and peace and love. Yeah, so light a candle
- 1:00:09Speaker 1: for those people this time of year. Yeah, maybe I
- 1:00:14Speaker 1: need a, every time I'm lighting a candle, I'm thinking
- 1:00:16Speaker 1: it's for my own light. Why don't I light one
- 1:00:17Speaker 1: for somebody else? For a prayer and peace for somebody
- 1:00:22Speaker 1: else's joy or possibility. for a moment that's not mine. Yeah,
- 1:00:38Speaker 1: those are great things to pray for. Dude, I watch
- 1:00:41Speaker 1: those soldier coming home videos all the time and God,
- 1:00:47Speaker 1: oh God, I will just, I will just start bawling
- 1:00:52Speaker 1: right into a dang bag of ruffles. And then they
- 1:00:56Speaker 1: do the dog sometimes. And sometimes, Loki, the dog does
- 1:00:59Speaker 1: not know the person. I'm like, whoa, this shit, something's
- 1:01:02Speaker 1: going on here. But, yeah, sometimes at the airport, you'll
- 1:01:11Speaker 1: see somebody waiting for somebody like with flowers and a
- 1:01:13Speaker 1: sign or something. Or when the soldiers, one time I
- 1:01:16Speaker 1: was in Chicago and I think it was, I don't
- 1:01:19Speaker 1: remember the airline, but a bunch of soldiers had just
- 1:01:24Speaker 1: gotten back. They'd all just gotten back and they were
- 1:01:26Speaker 1: like walking all back. I mean like hundreds. And it
- 1:01:31Speaker 1: was just like this huge thing. It was like a
- 1:01:32Speaker 1: special moment. But thank you, brother. Thank you for helping
- 1:01:36Speaker 1: us think about that. That's the feeling. That's the candle.
- 1:01:41Speaker 1: And you guys be good to yourselves. Let's go out
- 1:01:46Speaker 1: with some music here. And the music we've played already
- 1:01:49Speaker 1: is from One Man Quartet that played Christmas Miracle. And
- 1:01:55Speaker 1: Ready for Christmas was by Zorro. And then this song
- 1:02:00Speaker 1: we're going to play right here on our way out.
- 1:02:01Speaker 1: We wish you a Merry Christmas by Timothy Infinite. Merry
- 1:02:09Speaker 1: Christmas to everybody. Love you guys. Glad we got to
- 1:02:13Speaker 1: spend some time together today. Hey, it's Santa. Dog, I
- 1:02:46Speaker 1: heard blitzing is a bitch, homie. Whatever you are, good
- 1:02:52Speaker 1: tidings for Christmas and a happy new year. Wish you
- 1:02:58Speaker 1: a merry... Prancer's a f * * * it, homie.
- 1:03:02Speaker 3: Mm-mm-mm-mm-mm-mm-mm-mm-mm.
- 1:03:04Speaker 4: Mm-mm-mm-mm-mm-mm-mm-mm.
- 1:03:19Speaker 1: Mm-mm-mm-mm-mm-mm-mm-mm. Merry Christmas, everybody. God bless you. And head into
- 1:03:27Speaker 1: a happy new year while we'll meet you there. And
- 1:03:32Speaker 1: praise God, man. Be good to yourselves. You deserve it.
