- 1:52Speaker 2: Let's get right into the business.
- 1:56Speaker 1: So y'all today, it's September theeenth, twenty twenty four. If
- 2:03Speaker 1: for you it's September the thirteenth, twenty twenty five, well
- 2:10Speaker 1: why are you taking a year to watch this episode?
- 2:12Speaker 1: I appreciate you, though, subscribe rode to five hundred, but nevertheless,
- 2:19Speaker 1: get your ass out of here. But September thirteenth, nineteen
- 2:25Speaker 1: ninety four, the Notorious Big released his debut album, Ready
- 2:31Speaker 1: to Die Now. For those that was outside back then,
- 2:37Speaker 1: you know what it was like. You know the hype
- 2:39Speaker 1: leading into that album. You know how it was all
- 2:42Speaker 1: over the radio, especially if you was in and why
- 2:45Speaker 1: I'm not too sure about other places, because I was.
- 2:48Speaker 2: I was in New York when that album dropped.
- 2:51Speaker 1: You basically know what it was like around the time,
- 2:55Speaker 1: the climate, you know, the songs, the excitement around the
- 3:00Speaker 1: album when it dropped.
- 3:03Speaker 2: Really quick.
- 3:04Speaker 1: For me, you know, I was a Biggie fan because
- 3:08Speaker 1: I had heard him on Heavy D's a Bunch of
- 3:12Speaker 1: n Words, the song off the album Blue Front Funk.
- 3:16Speaker 1: Then I heard his single off the Who's the Man
- 3:19Speaker 1: soundtrack called Party in bull Ish and I was like, yo,
- 3:22Speaker 1: I really kind of liked this, dude, I.
- 3:25Speaker 2: Want to hear more.
- 3:27Speaker 1: And then came the Mister c Rest in Peace to
- 3:30Speaker 1: Mister C DJ Mister C Mixtape The Best of Biggie,
- 3:35Speaker 1: where it was solidified, Like I told myself when I
- 3:38Speaker 1: heard that, especially when he hit the intro, which is basically,
- 3:42Speaker 1: you know, for those who don't know, mister C's Best
- 3:46Speaker 1: the Biggie was like a mixture of unreleased Biggie records
- 3:50Speaker 1: at the time, some demo stuff, but a number of
- 3:54Speaker 1: features that he did with R and B artists, hip
- 3:57Speaker 1: hop artists and all kinds of stuff.
- 3:59Speaker 2: From Luke to you know, Mary J. Blige and stuff
- 4:03Speaker 2: like that.
- 4:04Speaker 1: But the intro was like a freestyle that Biggie did
- 4:08Speaker 1: that's just so crazy, and I think a lot of
- 4:10Speaker 1: people forget about it. So the hype was real for Biggie,
- 4:14Speaker 1: especially in New York, especially in Brooklyn, And when the
- 4:19Speaker 1: album dropped, I just remembered it was I knew it
- 4:23Speaker 1: was going to be good. Just how it started, right,
- 4:26Speaker 1: Biggie's being I think, well, yeah, he's being born in
- 4:30Speaker 1: the intro, and it kind of goes through different stages
- 4:33Speaker 1: of his life and ends off with him leaving prison
- 4:37Speaker 1: and saying he never gonna come back, and then it
- 4:39Speaker 1: gets right into the album where things done changed. Classic
- 4:45Speaker 1: album without a doubt, really set Big up to be
- 4:50Speaker 1: one of the top MC's, one of the top rappers
- 4:54Speaker 1: in the game at that time, helping to swing the
- 4:58Speaker 1: pendulum in the directional at least the attention of hip
- 5:05Speaker 1: hop fans in the area of the East Coast because
- 5:09Speaker 1: Death Row was like on a roll and they still
- 5:12Speaker 1: won't't to roll around this time. But now Bad Boy
- 5:15Speaker 1: Records was establishing themselves. They had already had Craig Mac
- 5:19Speaker 1: who had a hit, but Biggie solidified Bad Boy Records
- 5:24Speaker 1: with his debut album, featured Method Man on their you
- 5:29Speaker 1: Know production from Buck Wolde to DJ Premier. I think
- 5:34Speaker 1: Lord Ferness also Easy Mob, of course, you can't forget
- 5:39Speaker 1: Easy Mob. Just just a very dope album that had
- 5:44Speaker 1: so many different styles and looks. Because Biggie was transitioning
- 5:50Speaker 1: from the you know, Biggie got the hype like the
- 5:53Speaker 1: hype version of Big right to the mellowed out you
- 5:58Speaker 1: know Big Poppa's style or delivery or really more like
- 6:04Speaker 1: I guess Warning was like both styles, but definitely you
- 6:09Speaker 1: can see the change in his style happening. I remember
- 6:13Speaker 1: when I first heard Juicy. I wasn't a big fan
- 6:16Speaker 1: of Juicy because you know, I just heard partying bul Ish,
- 6:20Speaker 1: I had heard just playing, you know, the when he
- 6:24Speaker 1: talked about all the R and B singers he would
- 6:26Speaker 1: sleep with kind of thing on, some playful stuff, and
- 6:31Speaker 1: Juicy was just so different. You know, it was like,
- 6:35Speaker 1: why do you have this beat? Why are you doing this?
- 6:37Speaker 1: Because typically a beat like that with a rapper would
- 6:40Speaker 1: have been strictly about the ladies. But what I love
- 6:44Speaker 1: about Juicy is the lyrics because it was literally it starts,
- 6:48Speaker 1: it was it was all a dream.
- 6:50Speaker 2: If you're watching on video, I got the biggie shut on.
- 6:52Speaker 1: It was all a dream and a lot of rappers,
- 6:56Speaker 1: a lot of people who are trying to make it
- 6:59Speaker 1: out of humble beginnings or should I say the ghetto instead,
- 7:03Speaker 1: I don't know. In his case, it was hold up,
- 7:05Speaker 1: I got my mic in the shop, my bag there
- 7:07Speaker 1: would go boom, But you know what I'm saying. It
- 7:10Speaker 1: was for me being in high school at the time
- 7:15Speaker 1: and getting very close because the following year I was
- 7:18Speaker 1: going to go to college.
- 7:19Speaker 2: So it was like.
- 7:22Speaker 1: I wanted to have a future that was better than
- 7:25Speaker 1: my present, but all I could do was dream at
- 7:29Speaker 1: the moment because I had so many more steps to go.
- 7:33Speaker 2: To achieve those goals.
- 7:35Speaker 1: So for Big, it was like I was here on
- 7:38Speaker 1: the block at one point, and now look at all
- 7:41Speaker 1: of this we have, look at what we're doing based
- 7:43Speaker 1: off of, you know, rapping. So it was a dope
- 7:46Speaker 1: story from a hip hop head situation because he shows
- 7:50Speaker 1: a lot of love to hip hop in the song
- 7:53Speaker 1: to telling his own story and the album plays out
- 7:56Speaker 1: in that way. A lot favorite record on there is
- 8:03Speaker 1: probably every Day Struggle. It's easy to say unbelievable because
- 8:08Speaker 1: it's probably literally the dopest you know and the what
- 8:11Speaker 1: with Method Man was crazy, But Everyday Struggle is my
- 8:17Speaker 1: favorite record off of there.
- 8:19Speaker 2: For what I just said, I.
- 8:20Speaker 1: Mean, it was Biggie doing what he does one of
- 8:24Speaker 1: the things he does best, storytelling, and every Day Struggle
- 8:28Speaker 1: was really like the grounded version of Juicy, right. Juicy
- 8:34Speaker 1: was more like I'm telling this story from my new
- 8:38Speaker 1: mansion and everybody's happy and we're toasting with champagne and
- 8:43Speaker 1: every day struggle was like, I don't even think that
- 8:47Speaker 1: dream is a reality. I'm here down on the ground
- 8:51Speaker 1: my homies, you know, dying out of state, and all
- 8:55Speaker 1: these things are happening, and I.
- 8:57Speaker 2: Don't know what the future holds.
- 8:59Speaker 1: So ready to die when you look back at it
- 9:03Speaker 1: in thirty years. Obviously a classic, but I think if
- 9:09Speaker 1: you've never heard it because you're younger or you're just
- 9:12Speaker 1: new to hip hop, regardless of your age, you should
- 9:16Speaker 1: listen to it because it's one of the reasons why
- 9:19Speaker 1: we like certain artists more than others. Biggie's telling his story,
- 9:25Speaker 1: and he's telling a story also that may not necessarily
- 9:29Speaker 1: be his, but he's also telling his story within the album,
- 9:33Speaker 1: and he's one of the greatest storytellers in hip hop history.
- 9:38Speaker 1: So not only do you get to know big but
- 9:41Speaker 1: in a lot of ways, you get to know a lot.
- 9:43Speaker 2: Of his peers, and you get to know what a.
- 9:46Speaker 1: Lot of people are thinking in the hood, you know,
- 9:49Speaker 1: as opposed to just saying, oh, rappers, gold chains and
- 9:52Speaker 1: girls and stuff like that, but you really get to
- 9:55Speaker 1: know their motivations to this point, and I think Ready
- 10:00Speaker 1: to Die was one of those great albums that did
- 10:05Speaker 1: two things great again, which is told Biggie's story but
- 10:09Speaker 1: at the same time told a story that a guy
- 10:13Speaker 1: who's ready to die and really doesn't care and has
- 10:16Speaker 1: all these things happening and ends up. You know, not
- 10:19Speaker 1: to spoil it, but the last record is called Suicidal Thoughts,
- 10:23Speaker 1: so very dope album classic. If you've never heard it
- 10:28Speaker 1: or it's been a while since you ran the album back,
- 10:32Speaker 1: you should check it out. Two thousand and twenty four
- 10:39Speaker 1: has seen some very notable hip hop albums released, a
- 10:44Speaker 1: historic hip hop battle like for it to be the
- 10:50Speaker 1: fifty first year of hip hop, after celebrating fifty years
- 10:56Speaker 1: of hip hop like it's it's been a great year
- 10:59Speaker 1: so far for the music, for the hip hop conversation
- 11:02Speaker 1: in general, it feels like in a lot of ways
- 11:05Speaker 1: lyrically musically where course correcting and not getting rid of
- 11:11Speaker 1: certain artists and types of music, but just saying art
- 11:17Speaker 1: matters in hip hop specifically, it matters in hip hop.
- 11:23Speaker 1: But one thing that's happened in twenty twenty four since
- 11:26Speaker 1: we're talking about art, is we've had at least three
- 11:31Speaker 1: that I know of. Notable hip hop artists make albums
- 11:39Speaker 1: outside of the genre. Now, the one that comes to
- 11:42Speaker 1: mind for most is Andre three thousand making a flute album.
- 11:47Speaker 1: Now we call it a flute album because honestly, I
- 11:51Speaker 1: think we just love the joke of saying a flute
- 11:54Speaker 1: in hip hop and Bobby Humphries is dope, so don't sleep.
- 12:00Speaker 1: But it was more so an alternative album for him.
- 12:04Speaker 1: In the name of the album, for those who don't know,
- 12:06Speaker 1: it's called New Blue Sun.
- 12:08Speaker 2: Right.
- 12:08Speaker 1: So, Andrey three thousand, three stacks of outcasts finally returns
- 12:14Speaker 1: to music with an album, and he's playing the flute. Now,
- 12:18Speaker 1: spoiler alert, every time we saw him in between that time,
- 12:22Speaker 1: he was playing the flute in public, so it makes sense, right,
- 12:25Speaker 1: he was kind of building towards what he was gonna
- 12:27Speaker 1: do anyway, which is kind of dope from that standpoint, right,
- 12:32Speaker 1: And I'll say what I think about all these albums
- 12:35Speaker 1: after that, then Riza mentioned this, and I thought it
- 12:40Speaker 1: was like a hypothetical. But Rizza said, oh, well, I
- 12:44Speaker 1: have a classical album that I'm gonna put out, and.
- 12:46Speaker 2: I'm like, what.
- 12:48Speaker 1: First, Andre, Now you Risen and Riza put out that
- 12:52Speaker 1: album and it's called a Ballet through mud Rizza, Colorado
- 12:58Speaker 1: Symphony and Christopher Racket, right, and obviously this is a
- 13:04Speaker 1: classical album. Then I look up and I'm like, well, wait,
- 13:10Speaker 1: wait a minute, what is going on JUICYJ. For those
- 13:15Speaker 1: who don't know, they like, wait a minute, is anything
- 13:17Speaker 1: like the dude from the movie Half Bait with Dave Chappelle,
- 13:23Speaker 1: Like the guy who was fighting the squirrel Master. I
- 13:27Speaker 1: don't think his name is JUICYJ. But it was really close.
- 13:30Speaker 1: But JUICYJ of three six Mafia Fame said I'm releasing
- 13:36Speaker 1: a jazz album, and at first, you know, I love jazz,
- 13:40Speaker 1: so I was kind of thinking, like, well, does he
- 13:43Speaker 1: play instruments, because this could potentially be interesting. And then
- 13:48Speaker 1: I saw he was teaming up with like Robert Glasper
- 13:52Speaker 1: and a couple of people, some real legit people in jazz,
- 13:56Speaker 1: and I was like, this might be good, but I
- 13:59Speaker 1: don't know if these I don't know instrument he plays,
- 14:03Speaker 1: and I don't think he sings, but he's not really
- 14:07Speaker 1: singing for the most part. But it's categorized, at least
- 14:11Speaker 1: on Apple Music as a jazz album. So Andre three
- 14:15Speaker 1: thousand gives you an alternate alternative album, Riza gives you
- 14:20Speaker 1: a classic album, and JUICYJ gives you a jazz album
- 14:24Speaker 1: in twenty twenty four. Now, I know you're saying to yourself,
- 14:27Speaker 1: all of them have to be whack because they're not
- 14:29Speaker 1: hip hop. No, but I will say this, if I'm
- 14:33Speaker 1: going to give you a quick review, because I listened
- 14:35Speaker 1: to all three, I would say Andre's album is an
- 14:40Speaker 1: acquired taste. It's not terrible, but at the same time,
- 14:45Speaker 1: I'll never listen to it again because it's just not
- 14:48Speaker 1: the alternative type of music I like.
- 14:52Speaker 2: It's more atmospheric, you know what I'm.
- 14:55Speaker 1: Saying, Like you playing that in like a store or whatever,
- 14:59Speaker 1: you know, like if you sell tea or candles or
- 15:01Speaker 1: something you just got that, let that rock out. It's nice.
- 15:06Speaker 1: Or you're on an elevator and that's playing. It's nice,
- 15:12Speaker 1: but don't I don't really do that. Like I'm not
- 15:14Speaker 1: going to drive to it. I'm not going to clean
- 15:16Speaker 1: up my house to it. I guess if I had
- 15:19Speaker 1: a dinner party, you know, with some Horty Tody people,
- 15:23Speaker 1: I could probably throw that on and it'd be nice
- 15:25Speaker 1: to rock out, you know, in the background. But not
- 15:28Speaker 1: something I would listen to again because it just didn't
- 15:31Speaker 1: leave a big enough impression on me as a music
- 15:34Speaker 1: fan to listen again. Regardless if it's Andre three thousand
- 15:39Speaker 1: with Juicy J a jazz album, it starts off where
- 15:45Speaker 1: I'm like, oh, this might be better than I thought.
- 15:49Speaker 1: But then I realized this album ain't nothing but a
- 15:51Speaker 1: hip hop album. Now there's some jazzy tunes and they're
- 15:56Speaker 1: jazz artists musicians playing on the record. But I think
- 16:02Speaker 1: I was more into Juicy J when he was trying
- 16:05Speaker 1: to do what felt more like spoken words than when
- 16:10Speaker 1: the majority of the records he's rapping, and his style
- 16:14Speaker 1: of rapping does not match of jazz music. But let alone,
- 16:20Speaker 1: most of the beats don't sound like jazz.
- 16:22Speaker 2: It just sounded like hip hop.
- 16:24Speaker 1: So I just had to turn it off after a while,
- 16:26Speaker 1: like this is not what I thought it was gonna be.
- 16:28Speaker 1: I don't even know why it's in a jazz category.
- 16:31Speaker 1: To me, it leans heavy in the hip hop section.
- 16:33Speaker 1: That's where it should be as far as how it sounds.
- 16:37Speaker 1: But Rizza Ballet in the Mud, I said, okay, well,
- 16:44Speaker 1: all three of these albums I have the Sony m
- 16:49Speaker 1: fours or whatever. Right, nice quality. I guess you would
- 16:53Speaker 1: call him high quality. Headphone go over your ears so
- 16:56Speaker 1: you kind of sink into the sound. And I did
- 17:00Speaker 1: that for all three, you know, to kind of absorb everything, right,
- 17:03Speaker 1: because I like bands and I like instruments, so I
- 17:05Speaker 1: want to hear everything. I want to hear the quality
- 17:07Speaker 1: of everything. And when I did that with Riza. Now
- 17:12Speaker 1: I have an Apple Music subscription, and Apple Music also
- 17:16Speaker 1: offers an Apple Classical app, so the app it self
- 17:22Speaker 1: is specifically design top the bottom for listening to Apple
- 17:28Speaker 1: I mean, not Apple listening to classical music. So I'm like, okay, boom,
- 17:32Speaker 1: I got some writing a dude, and put the headphones
- 17:34Speaker 1: on and I'm gonna listen. Riza has the best one
- 17:38Speaker 1: out of it because I really like it and it's classical.
- 17:42Speaker 1: I don't have a lot of classical. I have a
- 17:43Speaker 1: ton of jazz. I don't have a lot of classical.
- 17:47Speaker 1: I don't have any classical at all. What am I
- 17:49Speaker 1: talking about? Nothing in my music collection is classical. Riza
- 17:55Speaker 1: is the first. And the reason why I say that
- 17:57Speaker 1: is because this does it. When I say classical music,
- 18:02Speaker 1: we all think baching stuff like that, right, basically stuff
- 18:06Speaker 1: we might not listen to if we don't listen to
- 18:09Speaker 1: classical music. But Rizza's version of classical sounds like Rizza,
- 18:15Speaker 1: and it sounds more like scoring a movie. So if
- 18:20Speaker 1: you think about Rizza's style, and it's heavily or at
- 18:25Speaker 1: least in the past, heavily and influenced by music, you
- 18:30Speaker 1: were hearing a Kung fuol Flay right, like think of
- 18:33Speaker 1: like Into the Dragon, right. They did a lot of
- 18:36Speaker 1: dope things with music in that movie, especially with the
- 18:39Speaker 1: intro to the different fighters, like Jim Kelly, Jim Kelly,
- 18:45Speaker 1: Jim Kelly right now, is that buffalo whatever?
- 18:47Speaker 2: You know what I'm talking about? The brother Okay, but.
- 18:50Speaker 1: They did a lot of dope stuff with the music,
- 18:55Speaker 1: you know, the scoring when they were introducing them, like
- 18:58Speaker 1: Bruce Lee and all of that. So in some ways
- 19:03Speaker 1: when I was listening, I was like, I guess this
- 19:07Speaker 1: is classical and ballet with a riser vibe. So it's
- 19:15Speaker 1: really like hip hop by way of classical. If you
- 19:21Speaker 1: get what I'm saying, I guarantee you you press play
- 19:24Speaker 1: on it, you're gonna be like this, it is classical.
- 19:26Speaker 1: This don't sound nothing like Beethoven. This almost sound like
- 19:31Speaker 1: hip hop. Put it this way. When I heard it,
- 19:35Speaker 1: I kept thinking, if Ghosts and like Ray and Gizzl
- 19:40Speaker 1: or whatever would rhyme to these beats, this will probably
- 19:42Speaker 1: be a dope woul tang album and be very different.
- 19:46Speaker 2: Right, there's no like super drums.
- 19:49Speaker 1: No, it's not boomback, but the way it sounds, it
- 19:56Speaker 1: doesn't sound so far away from hip hop that it's
- 20:00Speaker 1: not hip hop, but it doesn't sound so hip hop
- 20:03Speaker 1: that is not classical, If that makes sense. It's a
- 20:07Speaker 1: perfect goal between. So again, think about Rizzi's scoring in
- 20:13Speaker 1: different films he's done, and think about those early albums
- 20:17Speaker 1: that always had a Kung Fu flick influence, not in
- 20:23Speaker 1: the skits or what he's you know, sampling voices, but
- 20:27Speaker 1: within the music from Kung Fu flicks. So what do
- 20:32Speaker 1: I think about this whole you know, artist doing different things.
- 20:36Speaker 1: I don't mind it, because if you watch this podcast
- 20:40Speaker 1: for a certain amount of time, lilu YACHTI did like
- 20:44Speaker 1: a rock album and I liked it, and I don't
- 20:47Speaker 1: even like Lil YACHTI.
- 20:48Speaker 2: Now did he make the greatest rock record ever?
- 20:51Speaker 1: Or it needs to be in a conversation with such
- 20:54Speaker 1: and such, no but I thought it was good enough
- 20:59Speaker 1: to not be hip hop and still be enjoyable, right,
- 21:04Speaker 1: So I wouldn't be mad if more artists who seriously
- 21:09Speaker 1: had the talents and seriously knew those genres of music
- 21:14Speaker 1: to create in that space instead of you know, saying
- 21:18Speaker 1: I'm gonna do that genre of music and sort of
- 21:20Speaker 1: disrespect it because you know, maybe just put a cowboy
- 21:24Speaker 1: hat on you, Like I made a country album but
- 21:26Speaker 1: it sounds like hip hop. But you could tell Rizza
- 21:31Speaker 1: had an idea of what he wanted to do, and
- 21:35Speaker 1: he's in a lot of ways been doing it since
- 21:39Speaker 1: he was producing for The Woo, even like with the
- 21:43Speaker 1: second album where he had people from symphonies playing and
- 21:46Speaker 1: stuff like that.
- 21:47Speaker 2: So I think y'all should check it out. If you're
- 21:50Speaker 2: that interested.
- 21:51Speaker 1: You have to be a music fan, because if you're
- 21:53Speaker 1: going in there looking for Bobby Digital or The Woo
- 21:55Speaker 1: or early Riza or whatever, and you don't your mind
- 22:01Speaker 1: to hear a classical album but made by Rizza, you
- 22:06Speaker 1: may not like it. Those other two albums, the Juicy
- 22:10Speaker 1: Jay Joint, I don't even listen to. It's not jazz
- 22:13Speaker 1: okay to me, it doesn't sound like jazz sounds like
- 22:15Speaker 1: hip hop. So and lastly, all right, it's been a
- 22:25Speaker 1: long week. Okay, it's been a long week. The NFL
- 22:32Speaker 1: season kicked off. Go Birds Fly, Goles Fly last week,
- 22:38Speaker 1: and on the day that the NFL was kicking off,
- 22:43Speaker 1: Batman Ak Kendrick Lamar pops out on Twitter and social
- 22:47Speaker 1: media in general and post a video I'm gonna be
- 22:53Speaker 1: headlining the super Bowl this year. And when you watch
- 22:57Speaker 1: the video, there's some there's some shots in general, considering
- 23:02Speaker 1: he just came off a huge battle, most notably saying,
- 23:06Speaker 1: you know, you only got one opportunity to win the championship.
- 23:10Speaker 2: No round twos.
- 23:11Speaker 1: Now, the whole round twos is because Drake and his
- 23:14Speaker 1: minions meaning academics, have been promoting Uh wait for round two,
- 23:20Speaker 1: wait for the second round here, wait wait wait wait wait.
- 23:24Speaker 1: But then Kendrick was like, I'm doing I'm headlining the
- 23:26Speaker 1: super Bowl. You've never done it? Who cares? What Mal says?
- 23:30Speaker 1: Maul lives in Drake's lap, like abroad, Okay, even if
- 23:35Speaker 1: he just likes him a lot. Dog I like Drake too,
- 23:38Speaker 1: But what you're doing, you know, like, do you have
- 23:41Speaker 1: a lady? What she think about your behavior? That's what
- 23:46Speaker 1: I mean.
- 23:47Speaker 2: But then they kind of switched and it's like, oh, well,
- 23:52Speaker 2: you know Drake was turning he turned down super Bowls.
- 23:56Speaker 2: Now I wouldn't.
- 23:58Speaker 1: I don't feel like that could be a lie that
- 24:01Speaker 1: he's turned down super Bowls to headline. But I think
- 24:05Speaker 1: that's also stupid, and I think he would have taken
- 24:09Speaker 1: the opportunity to headline, especially this super Bowl, because that
- 24:13Speaker 1: would have been a strike, a little like he's lost
- 24:16Speaker 1: the battle, but that would have been a nice I
- 24:19Speaker 1: can come back because now you have to watch me
- 24:23Speaker 1: on the super Bowl, but no, you're gonna watch Kate
- 24:25Speaker 1: Dot instead. Right, But then social media and not all
- 24:32Speaker 1: hip hop fans started to blame jay Z because the
- 24:38Speaker 1: super Bowl's taking place in New Orleans in February of
- 24:42Speaker 1: twenty twenty five, and there are a lot of people
- 24:46Speaker 1: who felt it should have been Lil Wayne. Now what
- 24:51Speaker 1: also transpired is and Lil Wayne did respond. But before
- 24:56Speaker 1: Lol Wayne responded to this announcement, Nicki Minaj, Juvenile Master,
- 25:03Speaker 1: p Baby all gave their opinions on Drake. I mean,
- 25:11Speaker 1: Kendrick being chosen over Little Wayne, as if that was
- 25:16Speaker 1: the choice, We're gonna choose him over Little Wayne. Where
- 25:19Speaker 1: the choice was no, we're choosing Kendrick Lamar.
- 25:24Speaker 2: Period.
- 25:26Speaker 1: And Nicki Minaj in particular was really irate about it,
- 25:30Speaker 1: but that's kind of what she does now. She rents
- 25:33Speaker 1: and goes live and all of that. Because I don't know,
- 25:36Speaker 1: I guess she tried to take down Megan thee Stallion
- 25:39Speaker 1: and she's almost hotter than ever at this point. And
- 25:43Speaker 1: you know, talked about like jay Z being a hater
- 25:45Speaker 1: and why punish Lil Wayne because you hate Baby Me
- 25:49Speaker 1: and Birdman, And.
- 25:50Speaker 2: I'm thinking, like, why jay Z hate y'all? Why would
- 25:54Speaker 2: he do that?
- 25:55Speaker 1: But do they not know jay Z just as a fan?
- 26:00Speaker 1: They know him better than I do, But as just
- 26:02Speaker 1: as a fan, Yeah, I know this man. It doesn't
- 26:06Speaker 1: care what I got to say because he's well above
- 26:08Speaker 1: y'all at this point financially and business wise and career wise.
- 26:15Speaker 1: So there were a lot of people who said a
- 26:16Speaker 1: couple of things. I think Master P was probably the
- 26:19Speaker 1: most respectful with what he had to say as far
- 26:23Speaker 1: as you know.
- 26:25Speaker 2: And most of them wanted you to know that it.
- 26:28Speaker 1: Was not about Kendrick, and it was just about them
- 26:33Speaker 1: not selecting Lil Wayne to headline this particular super Bowl halftime. Now,
- 26:40Speaker 1: where's all this coming from? And again, this whole thing
- 26:44Speaker 1: I'm doing right now is for people who just don't
- 26:47Speaker 1: know what all the fuss is about and for those
- 26:50Speaker 1: who just want to get the timeline right. Well, Lil
- 26:53Speaker 1: Wayne did a interview I think back in January where
- 26:59Speaker 1: the interview or asked him about the super Bowl. Hey,
- 27:03Speaker 1: the super Bowl is going to be in New Orleans
- 27:05Speaker 1: next year, how great would it be for you to
- 27:08Speaker 1: do the halftime show? And he expressed how much he
- 27:11Speaker 1: would love it and how much, like you could see
- 27:13Speaker 1: it in his face, how much that would be so
- 27:16Speaker 1: awesome to do right. And he said something about like
- 27:22Speaker 1: getting it right, you know, or or putting in work
- 27:26Speaker 1: ahead of time in order to secure that. What I
- 27:32Speaker 1: don't think Lil Wayne anticipated. And not to say this
- 27:36Speaker 1: has anything to do with him catching strays, but the
- 27:42Speaker 1: Drake and.
- 27:44Speaker 2: Kendrick battle showed you how hot Hendrick is right now. Now.
- 27:52Speaker 2: He was quiet for.
- 27:55Speaker 1: The most part, but then he couldn't need the first
- 27:59Speaker 1: person shoot it, and he he was like, you know,
- 28:00Speaker 1: I'm kind of tired of all of this. Let me
- 28:02Speaker 1: just go in and we just do a friendly fade.
- 28:06Speaker 1: And then Drake took it too far, so then Kendrick
- 28:09Speaker 1: took it even further and the end result was a
- 28:13Speaker 1: bop Not Like Us that just became this phenomenon and
- 28:16Speaker 1: will probably win awards if politics don't play a role
- 28:21Speaker 1: and that song winning and probably will be performed at
- 28:25Speaker 1: the halftime at the halftime show because it was a
- 28:29Speaker 1: huge record this year.
- 28:31Speaker 2: It'd be different if it was a huge record for hip.
- 28:35Speaker 1: Hop, then don't perform that at the super Bowl even
- 28:38Speaker 1: I would say that, but you almost can't do the
- 28:43Speaker 1: super Bowl without performing Not like Us.
- 28:46Speaker 2: It just seems weird to not do that. It does.
- 28:52Speaker 2: I went to I was in Bmore.
- 28:54Speaker 1: I went to an Orioles game and they had it.
- 28:58Speaker 1: They played it, they played the whole but they played
- 29:00Speaker 1: Daylight like us because they was you know, Orios was
- 29:03Speaker 1: beating up on the White Sox, and I was just like, man,
- 29:06Speaker 1: this thing is just everywhere, and homecoming season is around
- 29:10Speaker 1: the corner. When those campuses get crowded, you are going
- 29:14Speaker 1: to hear that record. Whether it's the band or at
- 29:17Speaker 1: a party you go to, you're gonna hear it.
- 29:20Speaker 2: It's going all the way. It's going to be a year.
- 29:22Speaker 1: So with that being said, Kendrick is so hot right
- 29:26Speaker 1: now as an artist that it makes sense that it
- 29:33Speaker 1: would be him and not over little Wing. Now, a
- 29:40Speaker 1: lot of the things that came about that people talked
- 29:43Speaker 1: about and reasons why and blah blah blah it's his
- 29:45Speaker 1: hometown and why you're going to give it to blah
- 29:47Speaker 1: blah blah.
- 29:48Speaker 2: Let's be clear. The super Bowl is the super Bowl
- 29:53Speaker 2: halftime show. It's never about getting an artists who's from
- 29:58Speaker 2: the town. Rihanna when she performed, she is not from Phoenix.
- 30:05Speaker 1: Beyonce performed when the super Bowl was in New Orleans
- 30:10Speaker 1: maybe ten years ago, almost she's from Texas.
- 30:16Speaker 2: We can continue to go.
- 30:17Speaker 1: Down the line of people performing at the super Bowl
- 30:22Speaker 1: and not being from there. Now, logistically and professionally, it
- 30:27Speaker 1: would be stupid to do that because as you hit
- 30:30Speaker 1: each town now you have to decide.
- 30:35Speaker 2: You're thinking, like, who's here. We gotta go get.
- 30:38Speaker 1: Such and such now because this is the most popular
- 30:41Speaker 1: artist here.
- 30:42Speaker 2: It's stupid.
- 30:45Speaker 1: Nobody does that and they've never done that, so why
- 30:47Speaker 1: would they do it now? Also, the selection process for
- 30:54Speaker 1: who is to perform is a committee decision. Now Jay
- 30:58Speaker 1: Z is still in charge of that thing. But it's
- 31:02Speaker 1: a committee decision, right, people have to sign off, including
- 31:08Speaker 1: the city of New Orleans.
- 31:11Speaker 2: So if.
- 31:14Speaker 1: Lil Wayne was kind of making a campaign for it
- 31:17Speaker 1: early and this committee still decided to go with Kendrick,
- 31:22Speaker 1: it didn't really have anything to do with where people
- 31:25Speaker 1: were from. Now, let's just talk about a lot of
- 31:28Speaker 1: people were arguing Lil Wayne's merits and history. He's a legend.
- 31:32Speaker 1: If there's a hip hop Hall of Fame, he is
- 31:34Speaker 1: a first ballot legend. I've liked Lil Wayne since Cash
- 31:38Speaker 1: Money Days, you know, the Carter series, the mixtape, run everything.
- 31:46Speaker 1: But Kendrick is the hottest hip hop artist right now.
- 31:50Speaker 1: Every time he drops, everybody drops to say he dropped
- 31:55Speaker 1: another one? What is it a disrecord? Blub blah blah.
- 31:59Speaker 1: He stops everything you're doing on social media? Who album
- 32:03Speaker 1: you were talking about? Every you have, everybody stops to
- 32:06Speaker 1: hear what he's gonna do. You want that person to
- 32:12Speaker 1: put eyes and butts and seats or whatever the phrase
- 32:16Speaker 1: is when the super Bowl comes, right, you want.
- 32:20Speaker 2: People to be hyped to watch.
- 32:22Speaker 1: When they announced it was Usher, which was in Vegas,
- 32:24Speaker 1: and Usher's not from Vegas. He did a residency, but
- 32:27Speaker 1: so has a number of artists done residencies in Vegas, right,
- 32:32Speaker 1: Jodas is doing a residency. Jodas is not doing a
- 32:35Speaker 1: halftime show. Wu Tang of all groups had a residency
- 32:42Speaker 1: and they don't have to. So you get what I'm saying.
- 32:46Speaker 1: But you look at everything that was being said and
- 32:52Speaker 1: why and who and if it's jay Z, it's a
- 32:57Speaker 1: committee decision period, business, not emotions. This is the reason
- 33:01Speaker 1: why some of you guys have the jobs you have
- 33:05Speaker 1: because your understanding of industry and business and professionalism is limited.
- 33:11Speaker 1: And that's okay because as long as you're seeking knowledge,
- 33:15Speaker 1: I don't have no static with you. But if you
- 33:18Speaker 1: are the type who don't want to hear that it
- 33:20Speaker 1: should be him, then you don't know what you're talking about.
- 33:23Speaker 2: Now.
- 33:26Speaker 1: Hendrick did drop a song after that announcement, and not
- 33:32Speaker 1: the same day. He waited a little bit, everybody started arguing,
- 33:35Speaker 1: and he dropped a song called Watched the Party Die
- 33:39Speaker 1: and it was released on nine to eleven, which is crazy.
- 33:44Speaker 2: I wonder if there's some connections with that. Maybe not.
- 33:47Speaker 1: It's also was the night of the MTV Video Music Awards.
- 33:53Speaker 1: I think that probably had more to do with him
- 33:56Speaker 1: not getting I don't think he won any awards or
- 34:01Speaker 1: one for Not Like Us, which I think he probably
- 34:04Speaker 1: should have, and that could be a politics thing, but honestly,
- 34:08Speaker 1: I never watch award shows, and everybody wasn't talking about
- 34:13Speaker 1: the award shows when he dropped that record. They were
- 34:15Speaker 1: talking about Kendrick that was trended. The ward show was
- 34:19Speaker 1: like after like, you know, okay, well now we can
- 34:22Speaker 1: see what happened at the ward show. Shout out to
- 34:25Speaker 1: the go LJ who did a great performance. So in
- 34:30Speaker 1: the song watch the Party Die is less of a
- 34:33Speaker 1: disrecord to Drake and more of.
- 34:38Speaker 2: Like a end of the party, last call for alcohol.
- 34:42Speaker 1: You know, he released all these disrecords and partied out
- 34:45Speaker 1: when Not Like Us and this is kind of like
- 34:47Speaker 1: the end of the party, wine down type of song.
- 34:51Speaker 1: And it's just really a lot of reflections on people
- 34:55Speaker 1: in and around the business of music making.
- 35:00Speaker 2: Dope.
- 35:02Speaker 1: And again he furthers the I don't want to say
- 35:07Speaker 1: the narrative. That's what people say when they basically say
- 35:10Speaker 1: something's made up, and it's the story that's not true.
- 35:13Speaker 1: But he furthers the reason why he was chosen to
- 35:18Speaker 1: do the Super Bowl halftime show, not just because of
- 35:22Speaker 1: the disrecords, not just because he's had successful music, but
- 35:27Speaker 1: everything he's done recently to go from you not even
- 35:32Speaker 1: seeing him to being the main person you pay attention
- 35:36Speaker 1: to every time he pops out. And I'm pretty sure
- 35:42Speaker 1: that last minute Apple what it was it, Amazon Music
- 35:47Speaker 1: La pop Out Concert or Inglewood or whatever it was
- 35:51Speaker 1: pop out Concert also had a lot to do with
- 35:53Speaker 1: it as well, I'm assuming so.
- 35:58Speaker 2: So that was dope.
- 36:00Speaker 1: But as all of this was happening, and I'm going
- 36:02Speaker 1: to wrap it up, but as all of this was happening,
- 36:05Speaker 1: then Lil Wayne decided to make a video to chime in,
- 36:10Speaker 1: and part of me was kind of proud of the
- 36:13Speaker 1: fact that he didn't jump out there real quick and
- 36:17Speaker 1: respond to this.
- 36:19Speaker 2: But then.
- 36:21Speaker 1: I got a little upset when I learned that he
- 36:24Speaker 1: did make a video, and then I calmed down a
- 36:28Speaker 1: little bit when I watched it. Now I'm just gonna
- 36:33Speaker 1: say this, and this ain't got nothing to do with
- 36:34Speaker 1: the fans, because we can do what we want, we
- 36:36Speaker 1: can feel how we want. But to Nicki Minaj and
- 36:41Speaker 1: Juvenile and even Master P, even though he's being you know,
- 36:44Speaker 1: cordial about it, in peace about it, and definitely Birdman,
- 36:50Speaker 1: it's extremely unprofessional because guess what, they're not just people
- 36:54Speaker 1: out like they're not somebody out in the court playing
- 36:56Speaker 1: street ball. And I'm like, you're being unprofessional like the
- 36:59Speaker 1: Street were in the street but they are professional recording artists, executives, producers.
- 37:05Speaker 2: And all of that.
- 37:07Speaker 1: And I felt it very unprofessional because even though you're saying,
- 37:12Speaker 1: you know, no disrespect to Kendrick and you know, I
- 37:15Speaker 1: love Kendrick and all of that, as you say it
- 37:18Speaker 1: should be Wayne, I wonder about you, the fact that
- 37:23Speaker 1: you would just go and do that, the fact that
- 37:25Speaker 1: you would just only look at jay Z when you
- 37:29Speaker 1: know it's not just him. Now you may feel like, well,
- 37:33Speaker 1: I know it's not just him, but he's the person
- 37:36Speaker 1: we got in the room that we can tangible, you know,
- 37:39Speaker 1: that's tangible enough to go to and say, yo, Wayne
- 37:43Speaker 1: want to do this?
- 37:44Speaker 2: Can you help us out?
- 37:48Speaker 1: But it just makes me feel like and shout out
- 37:50Speaker 1: to the homie ad because we did a little coaching
- 37:52Speaker 1: cipher on this, Okay, Like for one like you, you
- 37:58Speaker 1: sound like you needed more than Wayne. Because if I'm
- 38:04Speaker 1: not mistaken, if Wayne gets to do the Super Bowl
- 38:08Speaker 1: halftime show without a doubt, you're gonna see Baby on stage.
- 38:13Speaker 2: Without a doubt.
- 38:14Speaker 1: How the hot boys are coming out on stage without
- 38:16Speaker 1: a doubt, Nicky and Drake are coming out on stage.
- 38:23Speaker 2: So it wasn't just Wayne's opportunity.
- 38:27Speaker 1: It was an opportunity that they miss out out on also, right,
- 38:33Speaker 1: And judging by their anger and all of that, it
- 38:36Speaker 1: felt like y'all don't have too many big deals on
- 38:41Speaker 1: the table, because if you did, you wouldn't jump on
- 38:43Speaker 1: social media trying to stir up a campaign to say
- 38:47Speaker 1: it should have been Wayne Bars. But Lil Wayne's video
- 38:51Speaker 1: is very different because most people like Lil Wayne, right.
- 38:57Speaker 1: It's not many people I've heard that just don't like him.
- 39:01Speaker 2: Right.
- 39:01Speaker 1: Him and the clips had they thing, but I had
- 39:03Speaker 1: more to do with Baby, and his video is more
- 39:08Speaker 1: so of how crushed he felt by not being chosen
- 39:15Speaker 1: and how he didn't rush to make a video about
- 39:18Speaker 1: it because he was trying to keep from crying essentially
- 39:23Speaker 1: about it. And he also kind of blamed himself for
- 39:28Speaker 1: not preparing for the fact that it could have been
- 39:31Speaker 1: a no. He was so convinced that it would be
- 39:36Speaker 1: him that he told himself it was going to be
- 39:41Speaker 1: him at halftime. I give them props for that, because
- 39:44Speaker 1: most people don't admit stuff like that, right, Like, why
- 39:49Speaker 1: did I sell myself on it so much? It tells
- 39:52Speaker 1: you that he felt it wasn't about entitlement for him.
- 39:57Speaker 1: He just thought he'd be the perfect one to do
- 40:00Speaker 1: do it as a legend from New Orleans.
- 40:03Speaker 2: Now. Granted, if any if that battle.
- 40:08Speaker 1: With Drake and Kendrick Lamar just played out on some
- 40:11Speaker 1: hip hop stuff and it was really only us that
- 40:14Speaker 1: picked a winner and moved on, Lil Wayne might have
- 40:18Speaker 1: been a choice. But to his point in that original
- 40:22Speaker 1: interview where he was asked, where he said, I got
- 40:26Speaker 1: some work to do to get there. Well, let's look
- 40:29Speaker 1: at the timeline I checked for Lil Wayne music. He's
- 40:36Speaker 1: re released mixtapes, He's put out singles, singles that I
- 40:40Speaker 1: thought was hot that I put on best of the
- 40:42Speaker 1: year so far. But I hear pete from y'all. I
- 40:49Speaker 1: seen mad slander thrown in his direction. I seen hype
- 40:55Speaker 1: for two seconds because a mixtape from back in the
- 40:58Speaker 1: days is now available on stream.
- 41:00Speaker 2: But then I ain't see nothing else.
- 41:02Speaker 1: And I'm talking about like maybe a week of you
- 41:06Speaker 1: talking about Lil Wayne. The most I've seen around Lil
- 41:11Speaker 1: Wayne is that he probably doing the show with Skip
- 41:13Speaker 1: Bayless that that's the most hype. So even though he's
- 41:21Speaker 1: not going to be tapped to do the super Bowl
- 41:25Speaker 1: and only do new material this year.
- 41:28Speaker 2: Obviously it's about his catalog.
- 41:32Speaker 1: Kendrick is so hot right now and if they're looking
- 41:36Speaker 1: to go with a rapper, it just makes sense. Now
- 41:42Speaker 1: if they didn't all come out and jump out the
- 41:44Speaker 1: window and do this, I would put money down that
- 41:49Speaker 1: Kendrick was going to bring out Lil Wayne and cash
- 41:52Speaker 1: money anyway, right, because that's how Kendrick gets down. But
- 42:00Speaker 1: now that they've done all of this, and he may
- 42:02Speaker 1: still do it, it's a lot of time. Now that
- 42:05Speaker 1: he's done all of this, Now it looks now it's
- 42:08Speaker 1: awkward because now some people would think, like, oh, Kendrick
- 42:13Speaker 1: just cleared the piece of his joint just so they
- 42:17Speaker 1: could get on because they was crying. You know what
- 42:19Speaker 1: I'm saying, Like it just makes it all awkward now.
- 42:22Speaker 1: And this is the last thing I'll say about it.
- 42:25Speaker 1: And it has more to do with the professionalism or
- 42:30Speaker 1: like thereof from people like Nikki, not necessarily Lil Wayne.
- 42:35Speaker 1: I get it, but Baby and most of the new
- 42:41Speaker 1: Orleans except for Jay Electronica, but we ain't gonna get
- 42:44Speaker 1: into that because he went kind of heavy because he
- 42:47Speaker 1: was defending jay Z.
- 42:49Speaker 2: But they were.
- 42:52Speaker 1: Highly unprofessional in my opinion, because if you lose out
- 42:57Speaker 1: on a deal, you lose out on a deal. When
- 43:00Speaker 1: you put it out there to the public, you're messing
- 43:02Speaker 1: with the money. And in a lot of ways you
- 43:04Speaker 1: think you're messing with somebody else's money, you're only messing
- 43:07Speaker 1: with your own. You may have made it so people
- 43:11Speaker 1: really want to see what Kendrick going to do. Now
- 43:14Speaker 1: you know what I'm saying, and you've probably made it.
- 43:17Speaker 1: So he's like, who at the door? Who to bring
- 43:21Speaker 1: out on?
- 43:21Speaker 2: Stays with me?
- 43:23Speaker 1: Oh, Lil Wayne, Yeah, you can come, homie. You know
- 43:26Speaker 1: I've looked up to you and all of that. You
- 43:28Speaker 1: can perform everybody else stay outside. That's how you've made it.
- 43:35Speaker 1: And thinking that whole no fly zone thing that you
- 43:40Speaker 1: think that applies to the NFL into the city of
- 43:44Speaker 1: New Orleans. Now y'all outside with the guys selling T shirts.
- 43:48Speaker 1: At this point, you're not really touching nothing because you can't.
- 43:54Speaker 1: We always and when I say that, I'm talking about
- 43:57Speaker 1: black folk, we always like to look at each other
- 44:01Speaker 1: when we're mad when it wasn't just jay Z's decision right.
- 44:07Speaker 1: And what I think is most unprofessional about all of
- 44:11Speaker 1: this is not only to air it out in the public,
- 44:18Speaker 1: but Kendrick is a fan. He looks up to Lil Wayne,
- 44:25Speaker 1: and even if you say we're cool with Kendrick blah
- 44:27Speaker 1: blah blah, state, it still makes them feel some kind
- 44:30Speaker 1: of way about whether it's anger or disappointed or kind
- 44:35Speaker 1: of really don't want to do it, or just hate
- 44:38Speaker 1: the industry in general because of all of this that's happening.
- 44:42Speaker 1: It's kind of one of those things where it's not
- 44:45Speaker 1: Wayne versus Kendrick, it's just making us look bad as
- 44:51Speaker 1: a people, a people who have businesses, who have money,
- 44:55Speaker 1: who have cloud not knowing how to deal with business. Accordingly,
- 45:02Speaker 1: all of that talking man go get a different deal.
- 45:06Speaker 1: The super Bowl is a huge event, so I understand
- 45:10Speaker 1: how Wayne feels, but that doesn't mean you can't go
- 45:15Speaker 1: and do other things to make up for it. Put
- 45:21Speaker 1: that Carter album out, make sure it's the best it
- 45:24Speaker 1: can be, especially now that there's a lot of people
- 45:27Speaker 1: who feel sorry for you.
- 45:30Speaker 2: Get them. Sympathy plays too right.
- 45:36Speaker 1: Cash money records Reunion Tour do better. People saying it
- 45:41Speaker 1: was trash when they were at the essence veest y'all
- 45:45Speaker 1: fighting amongst each other. We're not gonna ignore when jay
- 45:50Speaker 1: Z was the one who paid Little Wayne's taxes to
- 45:53Speaker 1: get him out of a buying.
- 45:57Speaker 2: Not Birdman.
- 46:01Speaker 1: Berdman was also the one who wasn't even paying Lil
- 46:04Speaker 1: Wayne is money jerking him. We all know this is
- 46:08Speaker 1: well documented. Son Young Felg has a replacement for Lil Wayne.
- 46:15Speaker 1: We forgot about that.
- 46:17Speaker 2: I don't think so.
- 46:19Speaker 1: So with all of that being said, and there's even
- 46:21Speaker 1: more to talk about, but this is probably the longest
- 46:24Speaker 1: episode of Hip Hop Now podcasts I've done in a while.
- 46:29Speaker 1: I just wish we would concentrate more on great music
- 46:36Speaker 1: and celebrating each other. Because there's no one who thinks
- 46:42Speaker 1: Wayne is whack or washed up, and that's why he
- 46:46Speaker 1: can't perform at the super Bowl. I think if he
- 46:50Speaker 1: got the super Bowl, he would give it. He would
- 46:53Speaker 1: look to give his best performance ever. And this isn't
- 46:56Speaker 1: the only super Bowl. Doesn't have to be in New Orleans. Hell,
- 47:04Speaker 1: half the time I look in the sand, I don't
- 47:05Speaker 1: see us in the stands, see us on the field.
- 47:10Speaker 1: It doesn't have to be that okay, and it doesn't
- 47:15Speaker 1: have to It just means Kendrick gets hot right now
- 47:20Speaker 1: as professionals recognize that and move on. Because if you
- 47:27Speaker 1: can't move on, I wonder like, do you not have
- 47:30Speaker 1: anything else going on? Or were you telling bill collectors, Yo,
- 47:35Speaker 1: I'm gonna be performing at the super Bowl and don't
- 47:38Speaker 1: take my whips And now you got to tell them
- 47:42Speaker 1: that money ain't coming through. I don't understand. And I'm
- 47:44Speaker 1: not talking about Wade. I'm talking about the people who
- 47:47Speaker 1: he would potentially bring out if he were performing. I
- 47:51Speaker 1: like to think Kendrick is going to do something to
- 47:55Speaker 1: celebrate New Orleans and New Orleans hip hop, and I
- 47:59Speaker 1: think hip hop in general, and I think it's going
- 48:03Speaker 1: to be a treat and I think people will instantly forget.
- 48:07Speaker 2: About all this Nazise. What do you think?
- 48:11Speaker 1: Do you think it was a no brainer to have
- 48:15Speaker 1: Hendrick perform or do you think it should have been flitting?
