- 0:13Speaker 4: What you gonna do?
- 0:14Speaker 2: John Jay and Rich.
- 0:15Speaker 6: We're not talking about Ren 1010.
- 0:16Speaker 3: We're not talking about Lassie.
- 0:18Speaker 7: It's the one and only dog, y'all.
- 0:19Speaker 6: The classiest Lassie.
- 0:20Speaker 3: Big Snoopy, Deagle, Double Jizzle. In your face to be
- 0:23Speaker 3: and in the place to be.
- 0:24Speaker 4: And you're listening to John Jay and Rich. Wake your
- 0:26Speaker 4: ass up.
- 0:27Speaker 8: Rich, what's so special about today?
- 0:29Speaker 2: It is National Banana Split Day.
- 0:32Speaker 4: Don't put bananas in my butt.
- 0:34Speaker 2: Oh, gosh.
- 0:35Speaker 9: Not again.
- 0:35Speaker 2: No.
- 0:36Speaker 10: Please.
- 0:36Speaker 4: Don't put bananas in my butt. No, don't put bananas
- 0:40Speaker 4: in my butt.
- 0:40Speaker 2: Banana split.
- 0:41Speaker 3: I've told you several times before.
- 0:44Speaker 4: My butt is not a banana. Happy Banana Day. What
- 0:47Speaker 4: else you got?
- 0:48Speaker 2: It's also National Secondhand Wardrobe Day. I know you're way
- 0:52Speaker 2: into thrifting, Peyton. Yeah. It's National Whiskey Sour Day. And,
- 0:57Speaker 2: John Jay, it is National Kiss and Makeup Day. So
- 1:00Speaker 2: maybe wander on down to Vince Vaughn's place. See if
- 1:03Speaker 2: you can get it. You said you wanted to apologize
- 1:05Speaker 2: to him for a long time.
- 1:07Speaker 4: I want to apologize to him?
- 1:08Speaker 5: No.
- 1:08Speaker 2: Or you want to put him in his place? I
- 1:09Speaker 2: have no desire to apologize. It is not National Put
- 1:12Speaker 2: You in Your Place Sir Day. It is National Kiss
- 1:15Speaker 2: and Makeup Day.
- 1:15Speaker 9: The feud lives on.
- 1:17Speaker 2: I guess it keeps going.
- 1:18Speaker 4: I get so bothered sometimes when I see him pop
- 1:20Speaker 4: up on my Instagram.
- 1:21Speaker 2: But if anybody wants to kiss and make up, I mean,
- 1:23Speaker 2: on our show and use our show as a vehicle,
- 1:24Speaker 2: we're open to that, right?
- 1:25Speaker 4: Totally, yeah.
- 1:26Speaker 2: Because we are purveyors of peace, not just for ourselves.
- 1:29Speaker 4: My high school reunion is coming up.
- 1:31Speaker 10: Yeah.
- 1:32Speaker 8: It's in October, and I just got all the information
- 1:35Speaker 8: on it. You know, I went to Chandler High. Let's go, Wolves. Yeah,
- 1:38Speaker 8: so this is... The legend continues. The week of October 23rd.
- 1:43Speaker 8: Book your travel now.
- 1:44Speaker 4: I live here.
- 1:44Speaker 8: I don't have to book my travel, but... And I
- 1:46Speaker 8: thought I'd go over some of it with you.
- 1:48Speaker 4: It's two days. Two days, these people.
- 1:50Speaker 10: For a..
- 1:51Speaker 1: No.
- 1:51Speaker 6: One day, one night.
- 1:52Speaker 9: Well, think about it.
- 1:53Speaker 11: You live here, so two days to you is like, really? But, like,
- 1:56Speaker 11: the people that come out of town?
- 1:58Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:58Speaker 1: Oh, true.
- 1:58Speaker 4: So, listen to this.
- 1:59Speaker 2: We should do a picnic or something.
- 2:00Speaker 8: The Hilton has graciously allowed us to use their lobby
- 2:03Speaker 8: to sit and visit. They also have a pool, max
- 2:06Speaker 8: of 25 people. From 6 p.m. to 1 a.m., Courthouse Hangout. Courthouse,
- 2:13Speaker 8: 201 South Washington Street in Chandler. You guys been there?
- 2:16Speaker 4: You know it?
- 2:16Speaker 12: No.
- 2:17Speaker 2: Isn't that the speakeasy?
- 2:20Speaker 4: I have no idea. Courthouse.
- 2:21Speaker 3: Oh, I don't know.
- 2:22Speaker 2: Or is that the little bar that's on the end
- 2:23Speaker 2: that's kind of a little, you know, it's like right
- 2:25Speaker 2: across from the BFW Hall?
- 2:27Speaker 8: It's dog-friendly, no admission fee, basketball, half-court, cornhole, and a
- 2:31Speaker 8: DJ playing your favorite jazz.
- 2:32Speaker 2: Yeah, actually, that's right on the, do you know where
- 2:34Speaker 2: the strip where Santan Brewery is? It's right in there. Um,
- 2:38Speaker 2: and it's near, uh, Murphy's law.
- 2:40Speaker 4: That's on, that's on Saturday. Sunny woods is going to
- 2:42Speaker 4: have a smoker.
- 2:43Speaker 8: They're selling food, $ 20 per plate, pulled pork, hot links, barbecue, chicken, beans,
- 2:47Speaker 8: potato salad, and rolls.
- 2:50Speaker 13: Uh, I'm like, you just invited the public to your
- 2:52Speaker 13: class reunion.
- 2:53Speaker 8: Let me tell you what's going on Friday night. Check
- 2:56Speaker 8: out Friday night, October 23rd, 24th. They got a block
- 3:01Speaker 8: of rooms being held at the Hilton, by the way,
- 3:02Speaker 8: in case you want to go, but, uh, At 345.
- 3:05Speaker 4: That's the new one. The Hilton's brand new. At 345,
- 3:08Speaker 4: you get a tour of Chandler High School. You know.
- 3:11Speaker 8: You meet at the registration office. After the tour, we're
- 3:13Speaker 8: going to cross the street and eat at Elmer's. I
- 3:15Speaker 8: used to go to Elmer's.
- 3:16Speaker 4: All the time.
- 3:16Speaker 8: 7 p.m., downtown Chandler Bar Crawl. Gather at the Hilton
- 3:21Speaker 8: Garden Inn Lobby at 7 p.m.
- 3:23Speaker 4: Sharp.
- 3:23Speaker 8: Then we're going to hit the Stillery, the Uncommon Chandler,
- 3:27Speaker 8: Murphy's Law Irish Pub, Rebel and Rogue, The Perch, Black
- 3:31Speaker 8: Sheep Wine Bar and Merchant.
- 3:32Speaker 1: Yum.
- 3:33Speaker 4: How's that sound?
- 3:34Speaker 13: Honestly, it sounds really fun because that downtown Chandler area
- 3:38Speaker 13: is popping right now.
- 3:39Speaker 2: And it's still a little greasy. It's like not too uppity.
- 3:41Speaker 13: Exactly. It's not giving like downtown Gilbert, but it's also
- 3:45Speaker 13: definitely not giving downtown Scottsdale.
- 3:47Speaker 9: It sounds like a lot of stuff, though.
- 3:49Speaker 4: Sounds like a lot of stuff.
- 3:50Speaker 11: Take a drink, but drink it quickly because we got
- 3:52Speaker 11: to get to the next 12 bar.
- 3:54Speaker 2: Murphy's Law was, remember when my band was playing there?
- 3:57Speaker 2: I think I told you that there was a knife
- 3:58Speaker 2: fight in the girls' bathroom.
- 4:00Speaker 14: Yeah.
- 4:01Speaker 2: The girls came out fighting, and it was right about
- 4:03Speaker 2: the time Grant, our drummer, and I were taking pictures
- 4:05Speaker 2: with teachers. And they called in because I hid behind
- 4:08Speaker 2: the teachers during the night fight.
- 4:10Speaker 4: Surprise, surprise, you hid.
- 4:12Speaker 2: Going down.
- 4:13Speaker 4: That's my reunion. So, yeah, if you want to join us,
- 4:16Speaker 4: join us. Because, Peyton, you said you have your reunion
- 4:17Speaker 4: coming up too, right?
- 4:18Speaker 13: Yeah, ours is coming up in November.
- 4:20Speaker 4: Is it as detailed as mine?
- 4:21Speaker 13: We haven't gotten as much details as yours has, so
- 4:25Speaker 13: who knows if it's actually happening. I will say, though,
- 4:27Speaker 13: Desert Vista, one of my friends, she went there. They're
- 4:29Speaker 13: having their class reunion in a couple of months, and
- 4:33Speaker 13: the people that are hosting it is the daughter of
- 4:35Speaker 13: some lawyers around town, and it's at their fat house.
- 4:38Speaker 13: It's about to be popping.
- 4:39Speaker 2: Oh, that's cool.
- 4:40Speaker 13: I am jealous I'm not.
- 4:41Speaker 2: A part of Desert Vista Class of 2016.
- 4:42Speaker 1: Forget that, man.
- 4:42Speaker 4: Mine's at the Hilton.
- 4:44Speaker 15: No.
- 4:44Speaker 4: Mine said Elmer's.
- 4:46Speaker 13: But the girl that's throwing their class reunion at her parents'
- 4:50Speaker 13: house used to have all of the parties when we
- 4:51Speaker 13: were in high school. So it's going to be like,
- 4:53Speaker 13: I'm jealous.
- 4:53Speaker 4: That's great.
- 4:54Speaker 9: You just show up. You're like, this is what we do, right?
- 4:56Speaker 9: If it's a high school reunion, it's like everyone that
- 4:58Speaker 9: was at your parties, right?
- 5:01Speaker 4: Good morning, Jules.
- 5:03Speaker 7: Good morning.
- 5:03Speaker 4: What's going on?
- 5:05Speaker 16: So I ordered.
- 5:06Speaker 7: Takeout the other day. And when I got home, I
- 5:09Speaker 7: realized they gave me somebody else's order of along.
- 5:13Speaker 1: With my order.
- 5:15Speaker 7: And it was way more food than I purchased. So
- 5:17Speaker 7: I just called the restaurant to tell them in case
- 5:19Speaker 7: someone was missing theirs. And the guy goes, oh, that's
- 5:22Speaker 7: probably the couple who ordered the breakup meal. And I
- 5:24Speaker 7: just laughed because I was like, thought he was joking
- 5:27Speaker 7: and didn't even know. I don't know what he was
- 5:29Speaker 7: talking about, but he was like, no, seriously, this couple
- 5:32Speaker 7: ordered two steaks, one cheesecake and a bottle of wine,
- 5:35Speaker 7: then called and said that they broke up and didn't
- 5:37Speaker 7: want it anymore. So he just gave it to me
- 5:40Speaker 7: and I apparently and accidentally got the final meal of
- 5:44Speaker 7: a relationship. But mind you, I paid for a salad.
- 5:47Speaker 7: So no loss was my gain.
- 5:49Speaker 9: You've got dinner and lunch for the next few days.
- 5:51Speaker 8: Literally.
- 5:52Speaker 17: Yeah, for real.
- 5:53Speaker 13: I would be like, though, if I got broken up
- 5:55Speaker 13: with or I broke up with somebody, I would be sad.
- 5:57Speaker 13: I would want to eat my feelings away.
- 5:59Speaker 9: Absolutely.
- 6:00Speaker 1: Oh, yeah.
- 6:00Speaker 13: Wine and cheesecake.
- 6:01Speaker 18: That's like a perfect final meal.
- 6:03Speaker 17: Right.
- 6:04Speaker 7: Like, OK, this is what's happening. And let's just part
- 6:06Speaker 7: ways after eating an incredible meal.
- 6:08Speaker 12: But.
- 6:09Speaker 7: Whatever. If anyone wants to come over for dinner the
- 6:11Speaker 7: next couple.
- 6:11Speaker 2: Nights, I got you.
- 6:12Speaker 4: Hey, let me ask you this.
- 6:14Speaker 8: Do you think that when you call the restaurant, they
- 6:16Speaker 8: have something called the breakup meal?
- 6:18Speaker 7: Well, that's what I didn't know. I was like, this
- 6:21Speaker 7: is really funny if there is such a thing because
- 6:23Speaker 7: that's kind of iconic marketing in many ways.
- 6:26Speaker 2: If someone's like, hey, we're going to.
- 6:28Speaker 7: Go to this place.
- 6:29Speaker 13: I have a reservation.
- 6:33Speaker 7: They know you should know ahead of time that that's
- 6:35Speaker 7: what you guys are ordering is a breakup meal and you're.
- 6:36Speaker 19: Going to get done.
- 6:37Speaker 8: And what if you go to the restaurant and you
- 6:38Speaker 8: just like what the breakup meal is? So you order
- 6:40Speaker 8: the breakup meal, even though you're not.
- 6:42Speaker 2: And we're fine.
- 6:44Speaker 4: We just want the breakup meal. It looks really delicious.
- 6:46Speaker 2: So that must be at the restaurant. They make it.
- 6:48Speaker 2: It's ready to go. And the customer calls like, I
- 6:51Speaker 2: don't need it. We're done. We're broken up. So that
- 6:53Speaker 2: is referred to as the breakup meal. That order is
- 6:55Speaker 2: the breakup meal.
- 6:57Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 6:57Speaker 10: Yeah.
- 6:57Speaker 2: That's whatever. Right on, Jules.
- 7:00Speaker 8: You know, Rich, you and I were in Reading over
- 7:02Speaker 8: the weekend, and we actually ate the breakup meal.
- 7:04Speaker 2: That's right.
- 7:05Speaker 8: There were two steaks, a bottle of wine, and cheesecake,
- 7:07Speaker 8: except we got the chocolate cake. But we didn't eat
- 7:09Speaker 8: any of it.
- 7:10Speaker 3: Wow.
- 7:10Speaker 4: I hope we don't break up.
- 7:11Speaker 14: Never.
- 7:11Speaker 7: But you're not broken up, right?
- 7:13Speaker 10: No.
- 7:14Speaker 4: I think the chocolate cake saved us. It's got to
- 7:16Speaker 4: be cheesecake. All right.
- 7:17Speaker 3: Thanks, Jules.
- 7:18Speaker 4: You got to switch it up somehow. Hey, thanks for listening.
- 7:19Speaker 4: Thanks for calling in.
- 7:20Speaker 7: Thank you.
- 7:21Speaker 4: I love random stories.
- 7:23Speaker 5: Good morning.
- 7:24Speaker 1: Wake up every morning.
- 7:25Speaker 2: Start your day with John Jay and Rich.
- 7:27Speaker 20: I wake up with my favorite artist.
- 7:28Speaker 3: Hey, this is Sabrina Carpenter.
- 7:29Speaker 17: What's up, guys?
- 7:30Speaker 6: This is Post Malone.
- 7:31Speaker 9: It's Benson Boone, and you're waking up with John Jay
- 7:33Speaker 9: and Rich.
- 7:34Speaker 4: Peyton, what's the vibe for horoscopes today? Peyton's predictions.
- 7:37Speaker 13: Yeah, I'm just letting you know what excuses your zodiac
- 7:41Speaker 13: sign needs to stop making and really lock in. So
- 7:44Speaker 13: if it's your birthday today, you are a Virgo. You
- 7:46Speaker 13: share a birthday with Blake Lively, Chyna Ann McClain, Tim Burton,
- 7:49Speaker 13: and Billy Ray Cyrus.
- 7:51Speaker 4: Guess what? I believe it's Adam's birthday today. Am I right, Adam?
- 7:54Speaker 3: You are right.
- 7:55Speaker 4: Happy birthday, darling.
- 7:57Speaker 13: Happy birthday.
- 7:58Speaker 4: Thank you, guys.
- 7:59Speaker 3: Appreciate it.
- 8:00Speaker 19: Awesome.
- 8:00Speaker 13: Okay, so for my Virgos today, and this goes for
- 8:03Speaker 13: you too, John Jay, you guys are kind of running
- 8:05Speaker 13: at peak efficiency today because we are officially in Virgo season.
- 8:09Speaker 13: So really try to take the lead on group decisions
- 8:11Speaker 13: and set some high standards. Everyone else is going to
- 8:14Speaker 13: be looking for you for direction over the next few weeks.
- 8:17Speaker 4: That's absolutely true.
- 8:17Speaker 3: That's what I'm doing right now.
- 8:19Speaker 4: Oh, that's awesome. Take leadership. Take ownership, Adam. Do it.
- 8:22Speaker 4: Do it.
- 8:23Speaker 1: Thanks, guys.
- 8:23Speaker 3: Appreciate it.
- 8:24Speaker 4: Have a great day, dog.
- 8:25Speaker 8: You too.
- 8:26Speaker 4: Mary Kay, hi. What's your sign?
- 8:29Speaker 21: Hi, good morning.
- 8:30Speaker 22: I'm an Aries.
- 8:31Speaker 9: Okay, awesome.
- 8:32Speaker 13: So for my Aries this morning, you guys got to
- 8:34Speaker 13: stop trying to rush through your to-do list. Kind of
- 8:37Speaker 13: slow down, check the small details, and fix that one
- 8:40Speaker 13: thing that you've been ignoring before it catches up to
- 8:42Speaker 13: you and bites you in the butt.
- 8:43Speaker 21: Oh my gosh, that is so crazy because that's literally
- 8:47Speaker 21: what I'm doing right now.
- 8:48Speaker 13: Okay, well that's good. I'm glad that you're getting ahead
- 8:51Speaker 13: of it.
- 8:52Speaker 21: I'm trying to. I've been working on it all weekend.
- 8:55Speaker 3: That's awesome.
- 8:56Speaker 13: What is it? What are you doing? Are you like
- 8:57Speaker 13: creating a craft or something?
- 8:59Speaker 21: Gosh, I wish it were that amazing.
- 9:01Speaker 23: No.
- 9:02Speaker 21: Unfortunately, I'm adulting, doing bills and paperwork and budget, and
- 9:07Speaker 21: my dining room.
- 9:08Speaker 22: Table is a hot mess.
- 9:10Speaker 24: So trying to be the adult.
- 9:13Speaker 8: My wife has now turned our dining room table into
- 9:15Speaker 8: her office. She said to me yesterday, she goes, I
- 9:17Speaker 8: was cleaning my office.
- 9:18Speaker 4: I go, office? That's what I did at my house.
- 9:21Speaker 9: It's my little craft room office now.
- 9:23Speaker 4: Your dining room table?
- 9:24Speaker 9: Yeah, it is also a hot mess.
- 9:25Speaker 8: Okay, so Kyle, Mary Kay, and my wife, Blake, have
- 9:29Speaker 8: now turned their dining room tables into their office.
- 9:31Speaker 2: Kitchen table for me with my wife. She sits at
- 9:34Speaker 2: the kitchen. Not even in a dining room, just the kitchen.
- 9:37Speaker 4: Mary Kay, have a great day. Thanks for listening.
- 9:39Speaker 24: Thanks, you guys too.
- 9:42Speaker 4: How about Pisces?
- 9:42Speaker 13: Yeah, Rich, for you today, since you're our Pisces in
- 9:45Speaker 13: the room, your relationships are going to require a lot
- 9:48Speaker 13: of effort over the next couple of days. So you
- 9:50Speaker 13: really got to show up for the people that you
- 9:52Speaker 13: care about through real life actions and make sure that
- 9:54Speaker 13: you're communicating, over communicate, because that's what's going to work
- 9:57Speaker 13: out for you.
- 9:58Speaker 2: I was just over communicating with Nick. and he got
- 10:00Speaker 2: mad sorry.
- 10:03Speaker 25: Just over communicating i'm so sorry.
- 10:15Speaker 4: What do you got for Libras?
- 10:17Speaker 13: Kyle, for you today, your social battery, it needs a recharge.
- 10:21Speaker 13: Don't feel guilty about saying no to some people today.
- 10:24Speaker 13: Mute the chaotic group chats and really protect your peace
- 10:26Speaker 13: and catch up on the behind the scenes things that
- 10:29Speaker 13: you've kind of let go of.
- 10:30Speaker 26: Okay.
- 10:31Speaker 9: Seems fun.
- 10:33Speaker 4: And wrap it up with Leo's.
- 10:35Speaker 10: Yeah, Leo's.
- 10:36Speaker 13: We need to shift our focus entirely to our bank
- 10:39Speaker 13: account today because we are struggling. We need to cut
- 10:41Speaker 13: out a subscription or maybe a habit that we don't
- 10:44Speaker 13: need and really focus on building some stability over the.
- 10:46Speaker 2: Next couple of weeks.
- 10:48Speaker 4: All right, we're going to get your sign there. All
- 10:49Speaker 4: posted on our website, johnjainrich.com.
- 10:56Speaker 16: The John Jane Rich Show. Intelligence, beauty, charm. Of course,
- 11:02Speaker 16: we're just describing Kyle and Peyton.
- 11:04Speaker 2: Your four best friends are live.
- 11:06Speaker 4: Jess, good morning. You're on the air.
- 11:07Speaker 24: Hey, I don't know about you guys, but I am
- 11:09Speaker 24: such an eavesdropper in public. Like, the second that I
- 11:13Speaker 24: hear drama occurring, like, in my vicinity, my ears immediately
- 11:16Speaker 24: perk up. And I was getting my nails done, and
- 11:19Speaker 24: the girl next to me starts FaceTiming her best friend, which...
- 11:22Speaker 24: FaceTiming someone in public is a whole other discussion. But
- 11:26Speaker 24: they're talking about a wedding. So obviously I'm leaning over like, oh,
- 11:29Speaker 24: what are you.
- 11:30Speaker 7: Guys talking about?
- 11:31Speaker 24: And her friend asks, are you still going? And she goes, obviously,
- 11:34Speaker 24: because I already bought the dress. I'm like, oh, this
- 11:37Speaker 24: is getting super juicy. And then her friend says, even
- 11:40Speaker 24: though the groom asked you not to, like, asked you
- 11:44Speaker 24: not to.
- 11:44Speaker 16: Right? Right?
- 11:45Speaker 2: Okay.
- 11:46Speaker 3: I'm in.
- 11:47Speaker 24: So, yeah, then the other girl goes completely silent. And
- 11:52Speaker 24: I'm waiting to hear more. I'm sitting on the edge
- 11:54Speaker 24: of my little foot spa thing they put you in.
- 11:56Speaker 24: And apparently, she was friends with the bride, but she
- 12:00Speaker 24: had hooked up with the groom before him and the
- 12:02Speaker 24: bride had gotten together. And then the groom had specifically
- 12:07Speaker 24: asked her not to come to the wedding because his
- 12:10Speaker 24: fiancée does not know about that.
- 12:13Speaker 9: Oh, that's messy.
- 12:15Speaker 11: Yeah.
- 12:15Speaker 13: And you definitely can't have a girl that you slept
- 12:17Speaker 13: with at your wedding and your wife not.
- 12:19Speaker 9: Know about it. Like how was she invited in the
- 12:22Speaker 9: first place?
- 12:22Speaker 13: Because she was friends with the girl that's about to
- 12:24Speaker 13: get married.
- 12:25Speaker 12: Oh.
- 12:26Speaker 9: So it makes sense. I wouldn't want to go.
- 12:28Speaker 13: I wouldn't want to go.
- 12:29Speaker 9: That's uncomfortable.
- 12:30Speaker 13: Why would you? Like the fact that she wants to
- 12:32Speaker 13: go kind of says everything about who she is as
- 12:34Speaker 13: a person. Like messy.
- 12:36Speaker 2: Well, what if she's trapped in that thing where it's like,
- 12:39Speaker 2: what would my excuse not to go be?
- 12:42Speaker 13: That I slept with the groom?
- 12:44Speaker 2: Yeah, but you can't say that.
- 12:45Speaker 11: Well, no, Rich has a point because if all of
- 12:47Speaker 11: a sudden she can't go after saying she was going
- 12:49Speaker 11: to go, the friend's going to be like, well, why
- 12:51Speaker 11: wouldn't she go?
- 12:52Speaker 9: What reason does she have? So now she's going to
- 12:53Speaker 9: have to come up with an excuse.
- 12:54Speaker 2: Yeah, you can't come up with a truth. The truth
- 12:56Speaker 2: won't set you free there.
- 12:57Speaker 8: You know what's funny about this? You guys have a
- 12:58Speaker 8: totally different perspective than me. To me, it's like, wow,
- 13:01Speaker 8: I bet you that made the whole getting your nails
- 13:03Speaker 8: done go by really fast.
- 13:06Speaker 4: Right, because it's like, come on, you're all caught.
- 13:07Speaker 8: Up in their drama before you know it, you're all done.
- 13:09Speaker 8: And if you're done and they're still going, do you
- 13:11Speaker 8: just wait? No, I'll take my time, I want my
- 13:13Speaker 8: nails to dry. Like, while you're trying to listen to
- 13:15Speaker 8: the car, what do you do?
- 13:16Speaker 2: But I love this.
- 13:18Speaker 24: No, she was like... not quite fully done with the
- 13:21Speaker 24: story and my toes weren't completely dry yet. So I
- 13:24Speaker 24: was like, I'm going to stay here for a couple
- 13:26Speaker 24: more minutes if that's okay. And since the lady drew
- 13:28Speaker 24: my nails, I was like, that's fine. But yeah, like
- 13:30Speaker 24: she's already RSVP'd, yes.
- 13:32Speaker 4: Wait, what if then it starts getting really, really more
- 13:34Speaker 4: hectic and you're like, you know what? I think I
- 13:36Speaker 4: want to know the color.
- 13:37Speaker 2: What I like about this though is you got enough
- 13:41Speaker 2: of the drama for pretty much the whole story. So
- 13:44Speaker 2: whenever I eavesdrop, I don't get enough of the whole story.
- 13:49Speaker 2: Poor Hemplo. I was leaving the gym and a lady
- 13:52Speaker 2: was walking in on the phone and she's talking to
- 13:55Speaker 2: somebody on the phone. And she said, I told him
- 13:58Speaker 2: there are four cardinal rules to a relationship and you
- 14:02Speaker 2: broke them all. Then she walks to the door and
- 14:04Speaker 2: she disappears out of my life. I want to know
- 14:06Speaker 2: what the four cardinal rules are and which ones he broke.
- 14:08Speaker 2: But you got the whole story. That I think is fascinating.
- 14:11Speaker 2: You did a good job of listening.
- 14:13Speaker 24: Some of my friends joke that I should be in
- 14:14Speaker 24: the FBI.
- 14:16Speaker 8: You know, Rich, if you just Google or ask Chachi,
- 14:19Speaker 8: what are the four cardinal rules?
- 14:20Speaker 4: I wonder if it'll give you.
- 14:21Speaker 2: I hadn't really thought about that until this moment. I
- 14:23Speaker 2: just remember that conversation.
- 14:25Speaker 27: She said, I told him this is my conversation.
- 14:29Speaker 2: I heard word for word. I told him there are
- 14:32Speaker 2: four cardinal rules in a relationship and you've literally just
- 14:35Speaker 2: broke them all. So I don't know what all four
- 14:37Speaker 2: of them are. But I thought about maybe turning around
- 14:40Speaker 2: and following to see if I could hear more of
- 14:41Speaker 2: the conversation. But that would be creepy at that point.
- 14:43Speaker 2: I had to let it go.
- 14:44Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 14:45Speaker 16: Okay.
- 14:45Speaker 4: I'm asking Chance BT. There are four cardinal rules in
- 14:48Speaker 4: a relationship. What are they? Respect, trust, communication, commitment. There,
- 14:52Speaker 4: you're done.
- 14:52Speaker 1: Okay.
- 14:53Speaker 13: There you go.
- 14:53Speaker 1: Okay.
- 14:54Speaker 2: Respect, sure. Let's say he must have cheated, huh?
- 14:56Speaker 4: You know, for me, it's like I'm walking through the airport.
- 14:59Speaker 8: I've seen this a couple times, and I see somebody crying,
- 15:02Speaker 8: but I'm going to my flight, and they're whatever, and
- 15:04Speaker 8: I want to go. Then I just start making up
- 15:06Speaker 8: stories like, why are they crying? Did they just get
- 15:08Speaker 8: broken up with? Are they going to a funeral? Did
- 15:10Speaker 8: they get into a fight? I was like, what is
- 15:12Speaker 8: this story? And I think we should be allowed to
- 15:14Speaker 8: ask people.
- 15:15Speaker 2: No!
- 15:16Speaker 4: I'm late for my flight. Why are you crying?
- 15:19Speaker 9: Excuse me, I just must know the tea.
- 15:21Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 15:23Speaker 2: Jess, you've done a good job. You're a real good eavesdropper.
- 15:26Speaker 2: I'm proud of you.
- 15:26Speaker 4: Thanks for calling in. Thank you so much for listening.
- 15:29Speaker 24: Thanks, guys. Have a good day.
- 15:30Speaker 16: It's John Jay and Rich.
- 15:32Speaker 1: Susanna.
- 15:33Speaker 7: Hello.
- 15:34Speaker 4: So yesterday we were talking about, like, animals that bit you.
- 15:38Speaker 13: Mm-hmm.
- 15:39Speaker 4: You got a bit story?
- 15:40Speaker 18: Yes.
- 15:41Speaker 1: What?
- 15:41Speaker 18: So my husband and I took my two kids out
- 15:44Speaker 18: to Route 66.
- 15:44Speaker 4: Mm-hmm.
- 15:45Speaker 18: We thought it would be a fun road trip. We
- 15:47Speaker 18: went up to Oatman, which I don't know if you know,
- 15:49Speaker 18: but it's covered and, like, super populated with donkeys. And
- 15:53Speaker 18: we got these little brown bags with snacks in them.
- 15:56Speaker 18: And they were like, yeah, you guys can feed them.
- 15:57Speaker 18: Your kids can feed them. Super friendly.
- 15:59Speaker 22: We had a great time.
- 16:00Speaker 18: We leave, and we're driving. And up in the mountain,
- 16:03Speaker 18: we see some donkeys. And we're like, oh, my gosh.
- 16:05Speaker 18: You know, like we're donkey whispers now. Donkeys love us.
- 16:08Speaker 22: Let's feed them.
- 16:09Speaker 18: So we get off. We're shaking the bag of the snacks.
- 16:12Speaker 18: And the donkeys come to us. And so we're really excited.
- 16:15Speaker 18: My kids are really happy. Everybody's laughing. They come up
- 16:18Speaker 18: to us. They're smelling us. And then a donkey bites
- 16:21Speaker 18: my finger.
- 16:21Speaker 6: Oh.
- 16:22Speaker 18: And, like, part of my hand. And so I scream,
- 16:25Speaker 18: scare my kids. They're screaming. My husband's, you know, just, like, frantic.
- 16:30Speaker 18: He starts kicking the donkey. He can't get him off.
- 16:33Speaker 18: He finally lets go. Another donkey comes up, starts fighting
- 16:36Speaker 18: with the donkey that bit me. My kids are screaming
- 16:39Speaker 18: their heads off. I'm trying to get them in the car.
- 16:41Speaker 18: My husband's, like, trying to punch the donkeys.
- 16:43Speaker 10: And kick them.
- 16:44Speaker 16: And I'm crying.
- 16:45Speaker 18: My kids are crying. And then we get in the car,
- 16:47Speaker 18: and then we're just, like, quiet and quiet. We're like, yeah,
- 16:49Speaker 18: we probably shouldn't.
- 16:50Speaker 16: Have done that.
- 16:52Speaker 4: Oh, my God.
- 16:54Speaker 18: And then now my kids, you know, it was like
- 16:56Speaker 18: six years ago, my daughter's 18. She's like, yeah, remember
- 16:59Speaker 18: when a donkey almost killed us? And I was like, yeah, sorry, guys.
- 17:02Speaker 18: That's probably a bad decision.
- 17:04Speaker 2: That good old Route 66, that's America's highway. Yeah, yeah.
- 17:09Speaker 18: But you should go to Oatman.
- 17:10Speaker 3: It's a lot of fun.
- 17:11Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 17:11Speaker 8: So, like, let's just, I want to try to reimagine
- 17:15Speaker 8: what happened when the donkey died. like, bit you, maybe
- 17:20Speaker 8: didn't like your snacks?
- 17:21Speaker 18: Yeah, I think, honestly, my husband and I talk about
- 17:23Speaker 18: it every once in a while, and my kids remember
- 17:25Speaker 18: that we almost died.
- 17:26Speaker 2: How come you didn't bring a parfait? Should have brought
- 17:28Speaker 2: a parfait.
- 17:29Speaker 3: I know.
- 17:29Speaker 12: Every donkey likes a parfait. When are you going to
- 17:31Speaker 12: ask a donkey, you want a parfait? Donkey say, no,
- 17:33Speaker 12: I'm not interested. I'm always interested in a parfait.
- 17:36Speaker 28: Exactly, exactly.
- 17:38Speaker 8: So that's why donkey bit her. You're bringing snacks. What
- 17:40Speaker 8: were the snacks from Oatman? Oatman should only have parfaits.
- 17:43Speaker 4: Or waffles.
- 17:44Speaker 8: Or waffles.
- 17:46Speaker 18: I mean, once we thought about it, we think that
- 17:48Speaker 18: the donkeys in the town of Oatman are used to people,
- 17:50Speaker 18: and they're used to people feeding them. The ones up
- 17:52Speaker 18: in the mountain are probably not used to that.
- 17:54Speaker 12: No.
- 17:54Speaker 18: It was just a.
- 17:55Speaker 7: Really bad decision on our part.
- 17:57Speaker 2: Not city. They're county.
- 17:59Speaker 4: Did Oatman give you carrots?
- 18:01Speaker 18: No, they gave us these little alfalfa cubes.
- 18:05Speaker 4: Alfalfa?
- 18:08Speaker 18: Like in a brown bag.
- 18:09Speaker 12: How are you going to feed me alfalfa when you
- 18:11Speaker 12: could have gotten a parfait at a diner on Route 66?
- 18:16Speaker 7: How dare we?
- 18:17Speaker 4: Thanks, Susana. Thanks for calling in. Glad you're okay.
- 18:19Speaker 18: You're welcome.
- 18:20Speaker 29: Thanks.
- 18:20Speaker 5: Bye, guys.
- 18:49Speaker 2: It's kind of cool, son. Remington's a cool first name.
- 18:51Speaker 8: According to Grand Theft Auto 6, which, by the way,
- 18:54Speaker 8: will be the biggest game in the history of..
- 18:56Speaker 4: It'll probably be the biggest thing in entertainment ever.
- 18:59Speaker 8: The people that have leaked and seen the game, they
- 19:01Speaker 8: say that players are required to refuel their cars. That's
- 19:05Speaker 8: good for realism, but it could get annoying, especially if
- 19:07Speaker 8: you've got to pay for.
- 19:07Speaker 4: Gas, gas prices. You've got to refuel your car.
- 19:11Speaker 8: The makers of Cup Noodles now have a new dorm
- 19:14Speaker 8: survival kit, which includes Cup Noodles... Two appliances for ramen,
- 19:18Speaker 8: a rapid egg cooker, and an insulated electric kettle.
- 19:21Speaker 1: Genius.
- 19:22Speaker 4: Costs 70 bucks.
- 19:23Speaker 2: Food news.
- 19:24Speaker 6: Food news.
- 19:25Speaker 4: You guys ever drop a soda can and then you
- 19:26Speaker 4: do that thing where you tap the... Yes.
- 19:28Speaker 2: So it doesn't explode.
- 19:29Speaker 13: Yeah.
- 19:30Speaker 4: Guess what? Doesn't work.
- 19:32Speaker 8: What do you mean it doesn't work? Says he ever
- 19:33Speaker 8: dropped a soda can, but then tapped it before opening
- 19:35Speaker 8: it to keep it from exploding. Turns out it doesn't
- 19:37Speaker 8: make much of a difference. The best way to avoid
- 19:38Speaker 8: a fizzy mess is simple. Let the can sit for
- 19:41Speaker 8: a few minutes, then open it slowly.
- 19:42Speaker 2: Yeah, but when you want a tasty beverage, you want
- 19:44Speaker 2: it now.
- 19:44Speaker 9: I feel like it does help.
- 19:46Speaker 4: According to this, well, I guess we have to try it.
- 19:48Speaker 2: Let's try it.
- 19:49Speaker 1: Let's do it.
- 19:49Speaker 4: Let's do it.
- 19:50Speaker 1: Do it.
- 19:50Speaker 4: I say it doesn't work. Who's got some soda?
- 19:53Speaker 2: You said it.
- 19:53Speaker 4: You guys said it works. You guys said it works.
- 19:56Speaker 4: Let's do it. Do the tasting.
- 19:58Speaker 2: Let's do it right now. Bring in the 7-Up, Noah.
- 20:00Speaker 2: We finally got to use for 7-Up.
- 20:02Speaker 4: Hey, is there a can of 7-Up in there, Noah?
- 20:05Speaker 4: Can you shake? We need two of them, yeah.
- 20:06Speaker 13: We need two of them.
- 20:07Speaker 9: Because we need to tap one and we need to
- 20:09Speaker 9: just open.
- 20:10Speaker 5: The other one.
- 20:10Speaker 2: The control elements.
- 20:11Speaker 8: Well, no, the other one they say you just let
- 20:12Speaker 8: it sit. Let it sit for a few minutes so
- 20:14Speaker 8: that would make it just normal. So you only need one.
- 20:16Speaker 11: I know, but they're saying it's relatively the same thing.
- 20:18Speaker 11: So if we drop two cans and we tap one
- 20:21Speaker 11: and we don't tap the other one, we'll see if
- 20:23Speaker 11: it's relatively the same.
- 20:24Speaker 13: And we're going to open them at the same time.
- 20:26Speaker 2: That's science.
- 20:26Speaker 9: Do they both explode in the same fashion?
- 20:28Speaker 1: Okay.
- 20:29Speaker 9: Or does the tapping actually help?
- 20:31Speaker 13: Bring the seven up.
- 20:32Speaker 4: Okay.
- 20:33Speaker 2: And do we shake it or just drop it?
- 20:35Speaker 13: No, we drop them.
- 20:35Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 20:36Speaker 13: I think Kyle can drop one. We're right next to
- 20:38Speaker 13: each other.
- 20:38Speaker 2: We'll both drop them.
- 20:39Speaker 13: One, two, three, drop. Oh, do you have two?
- 20:41Speaker 4: You have two or just one?
- 20:43Speaker 2: I do have two.
- 20:44Speaker 4: I shall return.
- 20:45Speaker 13: I shall return.
- 20:46Speaker 9: Thank you, Noah.
- 20:47Speaker 8: I can't be carrying one can of time. That's the
- 20:50Speaker 8: new 7-Up with the lemon-lime flavor, too.
- 20:51Speaker 3: Lime-lemon.
- 20:52Speaker 8: Lime-lemon.
- 20:52Speaker 17: Yeah, yeah.
- 20:53Speaker 4: That's wild.
- 20:54Speaker 13: But that's a little look. It looks like it says lemon-lime, though,
- 20:56Speaker 13: the way that can is.
- 20:57Speaker 9: But it says lime-lemon.
- 20:58Speaker 13: But if you hold it straight up, it says lemon-lime.
- 21:00Speaker 2: I figure if you drop it.
- 21:01Speaker 9: If you read backwards, yes.
- 21:02Speaker 2: I figure if you drop it, the top will look
- 21:04Speaker 2: like it's pushed up a little bit, and then you
- 21:06Speaker 2: know it's going to blow up.
- 21:08Speaker 29: Nope.
- 21:08Speaker 1: I don't know.
- 21:09Speaker 13: I feel like when I drop mine, I always just
- 21:11Speaker 13: crack it a little bit and let it..
- 21:14Speaker 4: Okay, here we go.
- 21:15Speaker 13: Okay, let me see.
- 21:16Speaker 8: Okay, so now, you ever drop the can of soda?
- 21:18Speaker 8: So now drop one can of soda.
- 21:19Speaker 9: Okay, ready? We're dropping it. Okay, same height.
- 21:22Speaker 13: One, two. Wait, do we do it this way or
- 21:24Speaker 13: this way?
- 21:24Speaker 2: Drop it on its side.
- 21:25Speaker 4: I'm so confused dropping two of them.
- 21:26Speaker 13: One, two, three.
- 21:28Speaker 19: Science.
- 21:29Speaker 2: We're going to open one and let one sit.
- 21:31Speaker 13: Okay, hurry, Kyle. Are you going to tap?
- 21:33Speaker 2: I'll tap.
- 21:33Speaker 13: Okay, three, two. Wait. Three, two, go.
- 21:40Speaker 9: It's exploding everywhere.
- 21:41Speaker 13: Kyle's exploding more.
- 21:43Speaker 9: The tap didn't help.
- 21:45Speaker 2: You tapped up the explosion.
- 21:47Speaker 9: Kyle's exploding more. The tap did not help. I stand corrected.
- 21:51Speaker 2: Here's what we do know. If you drop a can
- 21:53Speaker 2: of soda, it's probably going to explode if you open
- 21:54Speaker 2: it right away.
- 21:55Speaker 27: That is what we have discovered.
- 21:57Speaker 4: It's going to be all sticky. Hey, try it. That's
- 21:59Speaker 4: a new one. Try it. How's it taste?
- 22:01Speaker 29: Okay.
- 22:03Speaker 19: The same.
- 22:04Speaker 9: It tastes limey.
- 22:05Speaker 4: Oh, wait, wait. So you say it tastes the same.
- 22:08Speaker 4: But Kyle says it tastes limey.
- 22:10Speaker 12: Yeah.
- 22:10Speaker 4: We just did a try Tuesday. Right now, improv try Tuesday.
- 22:12Speaker 7: Oh, my gosh.
- 22:13Speaker 9: Look at that.
- 22:14Speaker 2: Guys are done.
- 22:15Speaker 1: Woo-hoo.
- 22:15Speaker 2: You already tried a Tuesday.
- 22:17Speaker 4: Wow.
- 22:18Speaker 2: It's good, though.
- 22:19Speaker 4: Wow.
- 22:20Speaker 13: On a Tuesday.
- 22:20Speaker 3: Hold on.
- 22:21Speaker 4: Now Noah's bringing out a baby 7-Up can.
- 22:23Speaker 9: Oh, now he's got, oh, between, yes, we have the
- 22:25Speaker 9: original lemon-lime versus the lime-lemon.
- 22:29Speaker 4: That's the original one right there?
- 22:29Speaker 26: Yeah.
- 22:30Speaker 4: I don't remember being so small. Is that Airplane?
- 22:31Speaker 13: Those are the mini ones.
- 22:32Speaker 9: It's a mini can.
- 22:33Speaker 13: Okay, so do we need to try that one, too? Yes.
- 22:36Speaker 2: It shrunk because he dropped it.
- 22:37Speaker 9: We don't have to drop that one.
- 22:38Speaker 13: No.
- 22:42Speaker 4: Seven up taste test right now.
- 22:44Speaker 13: I will try lime lemon.
- 22:46Speaker 2: That's the new one.
- 22:46Speaker 3: Okay.
- 22:49Speaker 13: And lemon lime. There's a little bit of a difference.
- 22:53Speaker 4: All right, Kyle, you taste it.
- 22:54Speaker 13: There's a little bit of a difference.
- 22:57Speaker 19: Original.
- 23:02Speaker 4: Okay.
- 23:04Speaker 9: Lime lemon.
- 23:05Speaker 13: Okay. Hmm.
- 23:11Speaker 26: Is there a difference?
- 23:11Speaker 13: There's a little one.
- 23:13Speaker 2: Quite the marketing campaign they've got going on there. Is
- 23:16Speaker 2: there a difference?
- 23:19Speaker 11: It feels like a marketing play.
- 23:22Speaker 9: They do kind of taste the same to me, I
- 23:23Speaker 9: feel like.
- 23:24Speaker 13: Okay, well, Noah, I feel like he's the ultimate taste tester.
- 23:27Speaker 4: Noah, what do you think?
- 23:28Speaker 2: Yeah, Noah is a connoisseur.
- 23:30Speaker 29: I'm a literal connoisseur, so if they change recipe and
- 23:32Speaker 29: I don't like it, we're screwed. So here's the old one.
- 23:34Speaker 3: The Ridge.
- 23:36Speaker 2: Familiar. The Uncola.
- 23:38Speaker 4: Classic.
- 23:39Speaker 3: Classic.
- 23:40Speaker 4: Okay, new one? I think you're going to like it. Hmm.
- 23:46Speaker 2: It is different, but it's actually really good.
- 23:48Speaker 1: It is?
- 23:48Speaker 2: So I'll get used to it. I mean, they're still
- 23:50Speaker 2: selling both.
- 23:51Speaker 4: They didn't get rid of it, right? They just gave
- 23:52Speaker 4: you an option, right?
- 23:53Speaker 2: No, they are getting rid of the old version.
- 23:55Speaker 1: What?
- 23:55Speaker 29: I was at the store the other day, and they're
- 23:56Speaker 29: having a sale. It was like, buy two, get three free,
- 23:59Speaker 29: which is insane. Who needs that much soda?
- 24:00Speaker 2: Stock up.
- 24:01Speaker 29: But I was like, should I stock up on the
- 24:02Speaker 29: old one just in case the new one's bad? Because
- 24:05Speaker 29: we still hadn't tried it up until this point.
- 24:07Speaker 2: Stock up on some vodka.
- 24:08Speaker 4: It's good enough.
- 24:08Speaker 2: It'll do.
- 24:09Speaker 4: Wait, so they're getting rid of the original? That's such
- 24:11Speaker 4: a mistake.
- 24:12Speaker 29: They changed Sprite a couple years back, too, and that's...
- 24:15Speaker 29: That's hard on me. It tastes hard on me. It's
- 24:19Speaker 29: hard in my feelings.
- 24:21Speaker 4: We just did the 7-Up taste test in the middle
- 24:23Speaker 4: of Stacks and Hacks. We got for life hacks, Rich.
- 24:25Speaker 2: Okay, so I've been looking for things that show up
- 24:27Speaker 2: on TikTok that are wellness trends. So this one you've
- 24:31Speaker 2: been seeing where they say put salt in your shower
- 24:33Speaker 2: and it'll make you sleep better and pull all of
- 24:37Speaker 2: the toxins out of your feet. Well, I checked it
- 24:40Speaker 2: out and that is absolute crap. They will not pull
- 24:43Speaker 2: out toxins out of your feet. You don't lose toxins
- 24:46Speaker 2: through your feet. You actually lose it through your liver
- 24:48Speaker 2: and your kidneys. But if you do it before you
- 24:52Speaker 2: go to sleep, it actually is like a tiny little massage,
- 24:55Speaker 2: and it can melt away a little stress and help
- 24:58Speaker 2: you sleep like a baby. So if you want to
- 25:00Speaker 2: go to sleep, sure, put the salt in your shower.
- 25:02Speaker 2: If you want to detox, I don't know, stop drinking
- 25:05Speaker 2: so much, step it up, I guess. That life hack
- 25:06Speaker 2: and many more on johnjainrich.com. All right, we're getting ready
- 25:09Speaker 2: for second date update. Bobby, give us a little bit
- 25:11Speaker 2: about what's going on.
- 25:12Speaker 17: Yeah, so I really hit it off with this girl, Chloe.
- 25:16Speaker 3: And she's just gone ghost protocol on me.
- 25:20Speaker 8: Okay, no problem. This is what we do here, dawg.
- 25:22Speaker 8: All right, so hang on. We want to hear the
- 25:23Speaker 8: whole story. Second Date Update starts next with John Jay
- 25:25Speaker 8: and Rich.
- 25:35Speaker 13: The next segment we're going to do is called Second
- 25:38Speaker 13: Date Update because that's what we're going to try and get,
- 25:41Speaker 13: and that's what the bit is called.
- 25:43Speaker 2: Second Date Update starts right now on John Jay and Rick.
- 25:46Speaker 4: All right, it's time for Second Date Update. You meet somebody,
- 25:49Speaker 4: you got a date, you have a good time. You
- 25:50Speaker 4: expect there to be a second date. Doesn't happen. You
- 25:53Speaker 4: come to us. We're going to help you get answers. Bobby,
- 25:55Speaker 4: good morning. You're on the air.
- 25:56Speaker 17: Yeah, so I met this girl. It's strange.
- 25:59Speaker 3: It's like totally random at this restaurant bar.
- 26:03Speaker 10: She's with one of her friends. I was just, like,
- 26:05Speaker 10: grabbing a drink at the bar. And somehow, you know,
- 26:09Speaker 10: we start talking. We hit it off right away.
- 26:12Speaker 3: I get her number.
- 26:15Speaker 10: And, you know, we're, like, texting back and forth for
- 26:18Speaker 10: a few days and eventually agree, like, you know, it's going.
- 26:22Speaker 3: Well, so we should meet up. Go on, like, an
- 26:25Speaker 3: actual date.
- 26:27Speaker 17: And I don't know, dude.
- 26:30Speaker 3: I felt like it was really... really going well, um,
- 26:34Speaker 3: or it went well. Uh, you know, we like just.
- 26:38Speaker 10: Chatting the whole time, laughing.
- 26:40Speaker 3: Uh, you know, she has this great, really funny laugh. Um,
- 26:45Speaker 3: and there was just like a lot of chemistry.
- 26:48Speaker 17: And so, you know, I'm leaving. I'm like, I think
- 26:54Speaker 17: I like this girl.
- 26:54Speaker 10: I even told one of my buddies about it. And, uh,
- 26:59Speaker 10: he's like kind of making fun of me, busting my balls. And, uh,
- 27:03Speaker 10: You know, but ever since then, now he's.
- 27:05Speaker 3: Really busting my balls because she's, like, just disappeared.
- 27:07Speaker 26: You know, I texted her a few times. You know,
- 27:12Speaker 26: I'm not, like, crazy stalker or anything. But, yeah, I'm getting, like,
- 27:16Speaker 26: nothing back. And, yeah, my buddy's, like, trying to help
- 27:21Speaker 26: me work it out, figure out what happened.
- 27:24Speaker 3: And, you know, he's actually the one who told me
- 27:26Speaker 3: to call you guys. So I just figured..
- 27:30Speaker 17: Here I am, you know, ready.
- 27:32Speaker 10: To hopefully find out what the heck happened.
- 27:36Speaker 3: You know, I just, yeah, the not knowing.
- 27:39Speaker 17: Is harder than the like, you know, I can get.
- 27:42Speaker 3: Over never hearing from her again, I guess. But yeah,
- 27:46Speaker 3: I don't know. I have to know what happened. It's
- 27:48Speaker 3: like this weird thing. You just, there's no closure. You
- 27:51Speaker 3: know what I mean?
- 27:52Speaker 4: So we do here, brother. Okay. So essentially you've saw
- 27:55Speaker 4: her twice, right? You met her, exchanged numbers, then went
- 27:58Speaker 4: out on a real date.
- 27:59Speaker 1: Okay.
- 28:01Speaker 3: Yeah, with a lot of kind of back and forth
- 28:03Speaker 3: in between.
- 28:03Speaker 4: Any intimacy in the date?
- 28:08Speaker 3: I mean, we, like, kissed, but, you know, that was
- 28:10Speaker 3: about it.
- 28:10Speaker 4: Well, that's a big deal. In case she liked you
- 28:12Speaker 4: enough to kiss you.
- 28:14Speaker 13: I wonder if she did, like, a deep dive on
- 28:16Speaker 13: your social media. Are you all private on everything, or
- 28:19Speaker 13: is all of your business out there?
- 28:20Speaker 3: I keep my business out there.
- 28:22Speaker 17: I got nothing to hide, you know?
- 28:23Speaker 1: I know.
- 28:24Speaker 13: I'm wondering if she sees, like, I don't know, something
- 28:27Speaker 13: in your likes, your comments. Because, I mean, it seems
- 28:29Speaker 13: like you guys had a great time together. So where
- 28:31Speaker 13: could have things gone wrong?
- 28:33Speaker 2: He might be a bad kisser. It might have been
- 28:34Speaker 2: great up until the kiss.
- 28:35Speaker 13: You always lead to that.
- 28:36Speaker 2: Well, when all the evidence we have is we laughed,
- 28:39Speaker 2: we had chemistry, we talked about the future, I asked
- 28:42Speaker 2: her out again, and then we kissed goodnight and then
- 28:44Speaker 2: nothing else happened. You got to figure maybe he's got
- 28:47Speaker 2: like those, when you go to kiss, his lips feel like,
- 28:50Speaker 2: you know, like, like ceiling tile. There's just no gift.
- 28:54Speaker 11: What if it had nothing to do with Bobby though?
- 28:56Speaker 11: Like what if she had other things going on in
- 28:58Speaker 11: her life? She was dating someone that, They were on
- 29:00Speaker 11: a break. So she felt like, hey, I meet this
- 29:02Speaker 11: guy at the restaurant.
- 29:03Speaker 9: This could be great.
- 29:04Speaker 11: And then, you know, the ex comes back in her
- 29:06Speaker 11: life and she feels like she's got to cut Bobby off.
- 29:09Speaker 8: I saw this Instagram post of a girl that met
- 29:11Speaker 8: a guy at a bar like this. They end up
- 29:14Speaker 8: drinking for most of the night. And the next day
- 29:16Speaker 8: he sent her a text. And it was an AI,
- 29:20Speaker 8: they didn't hook up. They just spent drinking, talking, right?
- 29:23Speaker 8: And he felt guilty and he wrote, I wish I would.
- 29:25Speaker 4: Have saved it. He made an AI song.
- 29:29Speaker 8: He sent a picture of Winnie the Pooh and the
- 29:31Speaker 8: AI song was singing to her that, I'm sorry, I'm married.
- 29:34Speaker 4: I have a i have a family oh my gosh
- 29:36Speaker 4: i hope.
- 29:37Speaker 2: You have a great time oh but he made her
- 29:39Speaker 2: a song that's.
- 29:39Speaker 9: She had closure.
- 29:41Speaker 8: But he was but if you think about it he
- 29:43Speaker 8: didn't he was just sitting at the bar talking to
- 29:45Speaker 8: her all night yeah and then got her number it
- 29:47Speaker 8: was like oh man i feel bad i have your
- 29:48Speaker 8: number i shouldn't have got your number just to let
- 29:51Speaker 8: you know and it's just the way i'm married.
- 29:57Speaker 4: Anyway, all right, Bobby, let's call her. What's her name?
- 29:58Speaker 17: Chloe.
- 29:59Speaker 3: And I didn't send any creepy AI songs.
- 30:02Speaker 4: All right, hold on line, okay? Hold on, hold on,
- 30:04Speaker 4: hold on. I found it.
- 30:05Speaker 9: The song?
- 30:06Speaker 8: So this is what happened. This guy goes out with
- 30:08Speaker 8: a girl. Now I think it's a trend. Now it's
- 30:12Speaker 8: like a guy goes out with a girl, and then
- 30:15Speaker 8: you find out he's in a relationship. Because when I
- 30:17Speaker 8: was searching for it, I found where a girl spent
- 30:19Speaker 8: the night with a guy, and then he sent it.
- 30:22Speaker 4: So this is it.
- 30:23Speaker 2: Oh my god, I met this guy at the bar
- 30:25Speaker 2: and he sends me this.
- 30:26Speaker 3: I'm cringing so bad.
- 30:28Speaker 2: I probably should delete your number.
- 30:31Speaker 3: Turns out I have a wife.
- 30:32Speaker 5: Oopsies.
- 30:33Speaker 19: Oh my god.
- 30:34Speaker 7: I hope you can find a man that doesn't forget his.
- 30:36Speaker 2: Entire marriage while buying you tequila shots.
- 30:38Speaker 4: Oh no.
- 30:40Speaker 1: Oh my god, I'm never going to the bar again.
- 30:44Speaker 6: Whoopsies whoopsies whoopsies anyway Dylan why don't you try to
- 30:49Speaker 6: get Chloe on and see if she'll jump on with
- 30:50Speaker 6: us real quick second date update continues next we're.
- 31:03Speaker 27: In the middle of second date update this is the
- 31:05Speaker 27: story of Bobby and Chloe they actually met the old
- 31:08Speaker 27: fashioned way talking in public at a bar Bobby got
- 31:12Speaker 27: her digits And asked her on a date, she said yes.
- 31:16Speaker 2: He said that they laughed a lot and the chemistry
- 31:19Speaker 2: was really great. He even told his friends about her.
- 31:21Speaker 2: But after the date, radio silence. He has no idea
- 31:25Speaker 2: what went wrong. The kiss goodnight was actually a kiss goodbye.
- 31:29Speaker 2: No response. No closure. Bobby wants to know what went wrong.
- 31:33Speaker 4: All right, Bobby, so you hang tight, okay? You got it?
- 31:35Speaker 4: You stay quiet. You jump in one moment. All right,
- 31:37Speaker 4: hold on. Dylan says Chloe's ready to go. Hey, Chloe.
- 31:40Speaker 5: Hey.
- 31:40Speaker 4: Hey, good morning. So you're on the radio with us.
- 31:43Speaker 4: How are you?
- 31:44Speaker 2: I'm good. How are you?
- 31:45Speaker 4: All right, look, we have an interesting situation. We got
- 31:47Speaker 4: a call from a guy. He says he met this
- 31:49Speaker 4: great girl. You're the girl, and you're ghosting him. Talking
- 31:52Speaker 4: about Bobby.
- 31:54Speaker 2: She doesn't sound all happy altogether.
- 31:56Speaker 4: Can you give us a rundown of what's going on?
- 31:58Speaker 3: Oh, my.
- 32:00Speaker 7: I did ghost him. It doesn't sound that bad because
- 32:04Speaker 7: it was just a really weird date. Like, it was
- 32:07Speaker 7: going really well at first, but out of nowhere, he
- 32:10Speaker 7: just starts... trying to get me on a GLP-1 and
- 32:15Speaker 7: that's so inappropriate. And it was like not even casually
- 32:18Speaker 7: mentioned it. This man was like pitching me the GLP-1.
- 32:22Speaker 7: Like he kept saying he had a discount code. He
- 32:25Speaker 7: had like 30 people on it. It was like so
- 32:27Speaker 7: pyramid scheming to me. And he was like, I can
- 32:29Speaker 7: hook you up. And I just was like, am I
- 32:34Speaker 7: on a date with a pharmaceutical rep? Like what is
- 32:35Speaker 7: going on right now? He just kept bringing it up.
- 32:39Speaker 7: And I was like, are you trying to tell me
- 32:40Speaker 7: that I need to lose weight? Like, then I started
- 32:42Speaker 7: feeling like I was being judged and he thought I
- 32:44Speaker 7: was fat. And I was like, it was just like,
- 32:46Speaker 7: it was so weird and uncomfortable. And I don't know, like,
- 32:52Speaker 7: it just was not a good first date vibe. So I'm, yeah,
- 32:55Speaker 7: I ghosted him and I don't care.
- 32:57Speaker 9: I probably would have as well.
- 33:00Speaker 13: That's a pretty good reason. I'm like, absolutely valid.
- 33:02Speaker 16: Shocked.
- 33:03Speaker 3: I'm sorry, are you serious? Oh, my God.
- 33:07Speaker 7: Are you on the..
- 33:08Speaker 3: I'm sorry, guys. Was I not allowed to, like, jump
- 33:10Speaker 3: in yet?
- 33:10Speaker 17: No, that was fine.
- 33:11Speaker 4: You can. That was fine.
- 33:12Speaker 7: Well, it's crazy that you think that you can just, like,
- 33:15Speaker 7: call the radio station and, like, get me to come
- 33:18Speaker 7: back on... Like, I don't understand what you're... I ghosted
- 33:21Speaker 7: you for a reason. You should know that because..
- 33:23Speaker 10: You wouldn't call me back. I've been trying to figure
- 33:25Speaker 10: out what has happened since our date.
- 33:27Speaker 7: Well, you just..
- 33:28Speaker 3: Like, this?
- 33:30Speaker 7: It's, like, not that hard to figure out what happened
- 33:31Speaker 7: when you're trying to get me on a GL1P..
- 33:35Speaker 2: That's a little different.
- 33:37Speaker 1: GLP-1.
- 33:37Speaker 2: Whatever they are.
- 33:39Speaker 10: If it's a GLP-1, I was going to say, if
- 33:41Speaker 10: you're going to call me out on that, you at
- 33:43Speaker 10: least get the acronym right.
- 33:45Speaker 1: Oh, I'm sorry.
- 33:45Speaker 7: I'm not, like, super up-to-date with that. And, like, who
- 33:48Speaker 7: cares if I put one letter in front of the other, like...
- 33:51Speaker 7: That was so inappropriate for you to do.
- 33:54Speaker 10: Yeah, I'm obviously sorry about wanting to try and prioritize
- 33:58Speaker 10: your health. What? I was just telling you what worked
- 34:03Speaker 10: for me, and I was trying to be helpful.
- 34:05Speaker 3: Maybe it could work for you, too, a little bit.
- 34:07Speaker 7: You're trying to lure me into your little cave of,
- 34:11Speaker 7: GLP-1 girls that are like wrapped around your finger and
- 34:15Speaker 7: you're like raising them up as part of your army.
- 34:17Speaker 5: I wouldn't have even brought it up if you hadn't
- 34:26Speaker 5: been the one to bring it up and you wanted
- 34:28Speaker 5: to get healthier.
- 34:29Speaker 19: What?
- 34:30Speaker 7: I did not bring it up.
- 34:32Speaker 17: You were talking about how you were.
- 34:33Speaker 10: Having trouble at the gym or, you know, a little
- 34:36Speaker 10: bit of this and that. And, you know, I was
- 34:39Speaker 10: trying to be helpful. I'm a thoughtful guy. And like
- 34:41Speaker 10: I said, I've helped out a lot of other people.
- 34:43Speaker 10: So it helped me out.
- 34:44Speaker 17: I'm not ashamed to say that.
- 34:46Speaker 7: You totally just misinterpreted my words because I said I
- 34:49Speaker 7: was interested in getting healthier. And getting healthier doesn't mean
- 34:53Speaker 7: taking some– random drug from a man I've never met
- 34:56Speaker 7: to lose weight. I was talking about, like, wanting to
- 34:59Speaker 7: go on walks after work and, like, get.
- 35:01Speaker 2: Out more and go to the gym more. So, Chloe,
- 35:04Speaker 2: why did you kiss him goodnight, Chloe, if he was
- 35:06Speaker 2: such a bad date?
- 35:08Speaker 7: I mean, to get him, like, out of, like, just...
- 35:12Speaker 7: I mean, he's cute, like, whatever, but I'm just, like..
- 35:15Speaker 2: The pity kiss.
- 35:17Speaker 13: Is a real-life thing.
- 35:18Speaker 3: Yeah, sure.
- 35:18Speaker 11: Also, like, I don't understand, Bobby, why you're, like, so
- 35:21Speaker 11: blown away. Like, do you understand the message you're saying
- 35:23Speaker 11: to someone when you push.
- 35:24Speaker 13: That on them?
- 35:25Speaker 4: I didn't push it, though.
- 35:26Speaker 3: I mean, she brought it up, and I was merely..
- 35:29Speaker 10: I was sharing my experience and the experience of... It's
- 35:32Speaker 10: been over 30 now. I have 34 people that I've
- 35:35Speaker 10: shared this with, and it's like, I mean, come on, you..
- 35:39Speaker 3: You want to get healthy.
- 35:40Speaker 7: So I have a question, Bobby. Did you go on
- 35:43Speaker 7: 34 first dates with these women to get them hooked? Like,
- 35:46Speaker 7: I had to kiss them to get them to leave.
- 35:49Speaker 7: That is creepy behavior.
- 35:51Speaker 3: You seemed really into that kiss.
- 35:52Speaker 10: So, like, don't bullshit because we're on the radio and
- 35:55Speaker 10: be like, oh, you aimed in.
- 35:59Speaker 3: You threw some tongue back at me.
- 36:01Speaker 2: Oh, wow.
- 36:02Speaker 3: This is inappropriate.
- 36:04Speaker 2: It is really inappropriate.
- 36:06Speaker 11: Bobby, I don't like you anymore.
- 36:08Speaker 7: I don't like Bobby either.
- 36:10Speaker 4: Okay, so no second date with Bobby. But I got
- 36:12Speaker 4: to tell you guys something. As someone who.
- 36:15Speaker 8: Takes GLPs and what I've learned a lot about, there's
- 36:17Speaker 8: a lot of healthy people. that are in shape that
- 36:20Speaker 8: take the GLPs. It's because not only does it curb
- 36:23Speaker 8: your appetite, but it does all these other things. It
- 36:24Speaker 8: helps your liver. It does all these stuff. So there's
- 36:26Speaker 8: people that are in good shape that take GLPs. But
- 36:29Speaker 8: I will say that if you're on a date with
- 36:31Speaker 8: a woman, I probably wouldn't bring it up for a while.
- 36:34Speaker 8: Maybe not even on the first date. Certainly not over
- 36:36Speaker 8: and over again. Yeah, but there are lots and lots
- 36:40Speaker 8: of benefits.
- 36:41Speaker 5: It felt like she wanted the help.
- 36:44Speaker 10: And, Chloe, if you change your mind after we're off
- 36:46Speaker 10: the radio and you want to text me, I'm still going.
- 36:49Speaker 7: You will never be hearing from me.
- 36:51Speaker 18: Off.
- 36:51Speaker 2: Actually, I got a deal.
- 36:53Speaker 17: Oh, yeah?
- 36:54Speaker 2: Better than Bobby's? Bobby sounds pretty straight.
- 36:56Speaker 4: Dude, let me tell you. The deal I have at
- 36:57Speaker 4: Viro Wellness.
- 36:58Speaker 2: Yeah, go on. I want to hear about it.
- 36:59Speaker 4: If you do, I think it's JJR20, and you get 20%
- 37:02Speaker 4: off for life.
- 37:03Speaker 2: How long?
- 37:04Speaker 4: For life.
- 37:05Speaker 3: For real.
- 37:05Speaker 4: Chloe, are you interested in that? Oh, my God.
- 37:07Speaker 3: Don't do that.
- 37:08Speaker 4: I start selling, Chloe.
- 37:10Speaker 7: Chloe, hear me out.
- 37:12Speaker 4: I got a better deal.
- 37:12Speaker 3: For you than Bobby.
- 37:14Speaker 2: I thought you said you wanted to be healthier.
- 37:15Speaker 4: Viralwellness.com, promo code JJR20 for life.
- 37:20Speaker 2: For life?
- 37:21Speaker 4: Yeah, for life.
- 37:22Speaker 3: All right.
- 37:22Speaker 4: So no second date. Bobby, Chloe, thanks for jumping on
- 37:24Speaker 4: the air with us. You guys are awesome. Thank you. Obviously,
- 37:26Speaker 4: no second date.
- 37:27Speaker 3: No.
- 37:28Speaker 4: All right. Second date update, John Jay and Rich.
- 37:38Speaker 3: Oh, my God.
- 37:40Speaker 8: The phone lines are blowing up right now. So it's
- 37:41Speaker 8: some behind-the-scenes stuff going on right now. Second date update
- 37:43Speaker 8: just happened. The guy said he was going to put
- 37:45Speaker 8: her on a GLP-1 while they're on a date.
- 37:50Speaker 5: 877-937-1047.
- 37:50Speaker 4: Was he out of... What's the word I'm looking for?
- 37:53Speaker 13: Out of pocket.
- 37:54Speaker 4: Was he out of pocket by saying that?
- 37:55Speaker 19: Yes.
- 37:56Speaker 4: And has that ever happened to you? But while... Well,
- 38:00Speaker 4: we're going to take your calls in a second. First, though,
- 38:02Speaker 4: big announcement with iHeart.
- 38:04Speaker 10: Huge.
- 38:04Speaker 8: We just played Zara Larson. She's performing at our iHeart
- 38:07Speaker 8: Radio Music Festival. Friday night is sold out. Tickets on
- 38:10Speaker 8: Saturday are still going fast. You can get all the
- 38:14Speaker 8: info at 1047kissfm. com slash festival. You can buy tickets at axs.com.
- 38:19Speaker 8: But we're making an announcement of three new artists that
- 38:23Speaker 8: are going to be performing.
- 38:25Speaker 3: Ciara.
- 38:25Speaker 10: Ciara.
- 38:26Speaker 1: Sweet.
- 38:27Speaker 10: Sweet.
- 38:34Speaker 2: If I remember, this CD, and I mean CD, Kyle
- 38:37Speaker 2: Lundflug had on repeat for like a year and a half.
- 38:40Speaker 9: I love me some Ciara.
- 38:41Speaker 13: I mean, who doesn't? And the fact that Ciara and
- 38:44Speaker 13: Zara Larson are both going to be performing. You know
- 38:46Speaker 13: the amount of booty shaking that we're about to get?
- 38:48Speaker 13: I am so excited.
- 38:50Speaker 8: At the festival, they always do weird crossovers and stuff
- 38:53Speaker 8: that's never happened before.
- 38:54Speaker 13: And Cardi B.
- 38:55Speaker 2: Come on.
- 38:56Speaker 8: And we added Stella Lefty.
- 39:12Speaker 4: And Smashing Pumpkins.
- 39:15Speaker 3: It's freaking nuts.
- 39:16Speaker 2: That covers all the genres all at once right there.
- 39:21Speaker 8: Along with Benson Boone, Snoop Dogg, Goo Goo Dolls, Laney Wilson,
- 39:24Speaker 8: Kenny Chesney, Weezer, BTS, the iHeartRadio Music Festival.
- 39:30Speaker 4: Tickets available at AXS.com. Daisy, you're on the air. Second
- 39:35Speaker 4: Aid Update. Your thoughts. Go ahead.
- 39:38Speaker 30: Okay, so in my personal opinion, so first of all,
- 39:42Speaker 30: he kind of was out of pocket.
- 39:43Speaker 7: But second of all.
- 39:44Speaker 30: If it was a me thing, I would say, sure,
- 39:47Speaker 30: pay for it. I'm broke, but I get it.
- 39:50Speaker 22: Like, pay for it.
- 39:51Speaker 30: I'm okay with it.
- 39:52Speaker 2: But he didn't offer that. He only offered a discount code.
- 39:56Speaker 30: Well, then shut your mouth.
- 39:59Speaker 17: There we go.
- 40:00Speaker 2: There's a few problems there.
- 40:02Speaker 30: If you're going to put it on the table, then
- 40:03Speaker 30: offer it for me. Other than that, don't comment on it.
- 40:07Speaker 30: I'm broke, not stupid, you know?
- 40:09Speaker 2: She's like those people that sell you the vitamin packages
- 40:11Speaker 2: where it's like, use my name at checkout. And then
- 40:14Speaker 2: he gets points. So he's just looking for customers.
- 40:18Speaker 10: Oh, my God.
- 40:19Speaker 30: I would now at this point just do it just
- 40:20Speaker 30: to spite him and use somebody else's pro rewards.
- 40:25Speaker 3: All right, Daisy.
- 40:26Speaker 4: Thanks for calling in.
- 40:26Speaker 1: Thank you.
- 40:28Speaker 4: Have a great day. You too.
- 40:29Speaker 8: We're going to play Minute to Win It.
- 40:32Speaker 4: We need a contestant.
- 40:33Speaker 5: 877-937-1047.
- 40:35Speaker 8: Some behind the scenes, just to give you a little
- 40:37Speaker 8: picture of what's going on here on this radio show
- 40:40Speaker 8: and how we always talk about being human and not
- 40:43Speaker 8: AI is our phone in the producer's room where Dylan
- 40:49Speaker 8: would be answering phones for some reason doesn't work.
- 40:53Speaker 4: So Dylan isn't here answering phones.
- 40:55Speaker 8: So you're going to hear her answer phones in the
- 40:57Speaker 8: background while we're trying to do a radio show.
- 41:00Speaker 5: Right?
- 41:00Speaker 4: So to play, you're going to hear her find a
- 41:01Speaker 4: contestant for Minute to Win It.
- 41:02Speaker 2: We're not doing a telephone. This is not one of
- 41:04Speaker 2: those things where things are going on behind us. It's
- 41:06Speaker 2: just Dylan doing her gig.
- 41:08Speaker 8: 877-937-1047 to play Minute to Win It. Yeah, something's going
- 41:13Speaker 8: on in my throat. You had me last night.
- 41:14Speaker 2: Get this.
- 41:16Speaker 4: So about a week ago, we had.
- 41:18Speaker 8: All that big announcement about that reality show that's dropping
- 41:20Speaker 8: with Kim Kardashian.
- 41:21Speaker 9: Team Moms.
- 41:22Speaker 4: Team Moms. I interviewed..
- 41:25Speaker 8: Will, it's his baseball team, right? So the players on
- 41:30Speaker 8: this baseball team, it's his team he put together. And
- 41:33Speaker 8: I interviewed Will, and I remember him talking about it.
- 41:35Speaker 8: I interviewed him like a month ago, and he was
- 41:36Speaker 8: telling me all about the show. And I came in
- 41:38Speaker 8: here and told you guys about it. So I took
- 41:39Speaker 8: a clip, and I put it on my Instagram. I
- 41:41Speaker 8: don't know if you guys saw it or not.
- 41:42Speaker 1: I did.
- 41:42Speaker 4: And he talks about a lot of stuff that happens
- 41:44Speaker 4: behind the scenes.
- 41:45Speaker 26: Mm-hmm.
- 41:46Speaker 4: Paramount wants me to take it down.
- 41:48Speaker 2: Oh yeah come on let's go.
- 41:50Speaker 9: Yeah why do you always find yourself in these.
- 41:52Speaker 19: Yes predicaments this is everything you're looking for so paramount
- 41:56Speaker 19: told him for me to take down the post i
- 41:58Speaker 19: haven't taken it down yet because i said well i
- 42:01Speaker 19: said to him i go tell them i'll gladly take
- 42:04Speaker 19: it down if i can a get kim kardashian billy
- 42:08Speaker 19: bob thornton or anybody, or Tyler Sheridan, or.
- 42:11Speaker 8: Anybody from the cast of those movies, those TV shows,
- 42:12Speaker 8: those are my favorite shows, they're all on Paramount +.
- 42:14Speaker 13: Oh my goodness, I feel like, don't take it down
- 42:17Speaker 13: unless you get a personal cease and desist from lawyer
- 42:20Speaker 13: Kim Kardashian.
- 42:21Speaker 4: Oh, that'd be cool.
- 42:23Speaker 9: Kim Kardashian Esquire.
- 42:24Speaker 2: If you haven't seen it yet, go look at the
- 42:27Speaker 2: post before it gets, you know, taken down.
- 42:28Speaker 13: I was going to say that's low-key tease. So what
- 42:30Speaker 13: are you talking about with him that makes Paramount be like, okay, whoa, buddy.
- 42:34Speaker 4: Chill out. So you didn't see the clip?
- 42:36Speaker 13: No, I haven't seen it.
- 42:37Speaker 8: In the clip, he talks about three things that happened
- 42:39Speaker 8: during that show. They're not really spoilers, but maybe they are.
- 42:42Speaker 2: I guess so. They must be.
- 42:43Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 42:43Speaker 4: I'm not going to say what they are, so you
- 42:45Speaker 4: got to go to look at it.
- 42:45Speaker 8: It's on my Instagram at JohnJVanS, and it's the third
- 42:48Speaker 8: post that you can see me It's the third.
- 42:51Speaker 4: It says Kim Kardashian in the screenshot.
- 42:54Speaker 2: It didn't seem like tea when I watched it, but
- 42:56Speaker 2: I guess it could be.
- 42:57Speaker 4: For Paramount people, you don't want that out yet. Big
- 43:00Speaker 4: time tea, man. Big time tea.
- 43:02Speaker 8: And I will take it down if they ask me again,
- 43:05Speaker 8: but I don't want to get into a fight with Paramount.
- 43:06Speaker 13: But technically, they.
- 43:07Speaker 9: Didn't ask you. They asked your friend to ask you.
- 43:10Speaker 1: Right.
- 43:10Speaker 4: But also my friend, you know, he also owns Viola Wellness.
- 43:14Speaker 2: Got a discount code from him.
- 43:15Speaker 13: Did he seem impressed about it? Was he like, I
- 43:18Speaker 13: need you to take it down?
- 43:20Speaker 4: No, because he ended it with an LOL. Right.
- 43:23Speaker 8: And then he ended it with an LOL. And then
- 43:26Speaker 8: I went to his Instagram and he had posted in
- 43:28Speaker 8: his stories.
- 43:30Speaker 2: It was still up.
- 43:31Speaker 1: Huh?
- 43:31Speaker 2: And it was still up when you looked at it?
- 43:33Speaker 4: On his story.
- 43:33Speaker 17: Yeah.
- 43:34Speaker 4: He told me. So I was like, okay, but still paramount.
- 43:36Speaker 10: So.
- 43:37Speaker 9: Anyway, interesting.
- 43:39Speaker 13: Yeah, I'm definitely going to go watch that. I want
- 43:42Speaker 13: to know what, what the spoiler, not spoilers are.
- 43:45Speaker 4: There's just a couple of them.
- 43:47Speaker 8: And I think they're really interesting because I think, I
- 43:49Speaker 8: think what it does, it gives you a little behind
- 43:50Speaker 8: the scenes of the reality show because they kinda, I
- 43:54Speaker 8: don't want to ruin it, but there's three things they
- 43:56Speaker 8: talk about. He talks about in the clip. And if
- 43:58Speaker 8: you really dissect it and pull back, you can see
- 44:01Speaker 8: what the producers are trying to do on this type
- 44:04Speaker 8: of show.
- 44:04Speaker 11: Okay, how much involvement did Kim Kardashian actually have in
- 44:07Speaker 11: the show?
- 44:08Speaker 4: A lot.
- 44:09Speaker 1: A lot.
- 44:09Speaker 4: That's all in the clip. You have to see the clip.
- 44:11Speaker 1: All right.
- 44:12Speaker 4: Dillon, we're going to play a minute to win it.
- 44:13Speaker 4: Who's our contestant? Renee. Okay, let's see. Hey, Renee. Hello.
- 44:19Speaker 4: What are you doing, Renee?
- 44:20Speaker 17: Where are you?
- 44:20Speaker 4: What part of town?
- 44:21Speaker 24: I'm down in Gilbert waiting in line to drop off
- 44:25Speaker 24: my second son.
- 44:27Speaker 4: Okay.
- 44:28Speaker 15: All right.
- 44:28Speaker 4: You ready to play?
- 44:30Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 44:31Speaker 31: John Jay and Rich have $ 1, 000 cash for you from
- 44:34Speaker 31: Peoria Ford right now.
- 44:36Speaker 4: Minute to win it.
- 44:38Speaker 2: Okay, Renee, 60 seconds on the clock. Just nail all
- 44:41Speaker 2: 10 of these questions and you will win $ 1, 000. I
- 44:44Speaker 2: have so much faith in you. Shall we get after
- 44:47Speaker 2: it right now? Let's go. What pop star's real name
- 44:51Speaker 2: is Peter Gene Hernandez?
- 44:54Speaker 3: Bruno Mars.
- 44:57Speaker 2: What organ is responsible for pumping blood throughout the human body?
- 45:02Speaker 22: The heart.
- 45:03Speaker 2: What sport is James Naismith credited with inventing? Football.
- 45:09Speaker 27: Oh, no.
- 45:12Speaker 2: But playing basketball.
- 45:15Speaker 9: That was a tough one.
- 45:16Speaker 19: Naismith.
- 45:17Speaker 5: Sorry, Renee.
- 45:18Speaker 4: Sorry, Renee.
- 45:20Speaker 13: That's so tough.
- 45:21Speaker 4: Renee Russo.
- 45:21Speaker 19: That's such a.
- 45:22Speaker 13: Hard question because I feel like you don't know that
- 45:24Speaker 13: unless you were like a basketball player.
- 45:27Speaker 2: Well, and I was, so that.
- 45:32Speaker 1: Stinks.
- 45:32Speaker 2: You don't even know that you're a basketball player.
- 45:34Speaker 4: It seems that way, Renee.
- 45:37Speaker 24: I have NFL draft on the brain.
- 45:39Speaker 4: Makes sense. But hold on the line. Thanks for playing.
- 45:41Speaker 3: Hold on.
- 45:41Speaker 8: Sorry about that. Speaking of basketball, I was, I texted
- 45:45Speaker 8: Peyton yesterday. I texted Peyton yesterday at one o'clock and
- 45:48Speaker 8: she didn't respond to my text. I was watching a
- 45:51Speaker 8: show on Apple. It was a documentary on Yukon women's basketball.
- 45:56Speaker 8: It's three episodes. It's three hours. I watched all of it.
- 45:58Speaker 8: It was so good. It was so compelling. And I
- 46:01Speaker 8: had no idea the talent that came out of that school.
- 46:05Speaker 8: And I fell in love with the coach and I
- 46:07Speaker 8: fell in love with all these people. And I'm so bummed.
- 46:09Speaker 8: Diana Taurosi has just retired because I didn't know.
- 46:12Speaker 4: She went there and seeing her. In college and in
- 46:15Speaker 4: high school, I was like, my God, this woman's amazing.
- 46:17Speaker 2: She's got to be something.
- 46:19Speaker 13: There's a reason that Diana Taurasi's jersey is in the rafters.
- 46:22Speaker 13: I mean, she played with Sue Bird. Maya Moore came
- 46:24Speaker 13: out of there. Paige Becker.
- 46:26Speaker 4: Sue Bird? Yes, Sue Bird. I mean, it was crazy.
- 46:28Speaker 13: Sue Bird and Diana Taurasi played together.
- 46:31Speaker 2: I know. They went nap.
- 46:32Speaker 13: Breonna Stewart, like, come on. This is like, I love this.
- 46:35Speaker 8: And then watching Paige. In fact, the documentary is three
- 46:38Speaker 8: episodes at the end of the documentary. Like this is
- 46:41Speaker 8: one of those shows where I'm watching, I pause it
- 46:42Speaker 8: and I Google, how many wins does he have? Cause
- 46:44Speaker 8: the guy's got like 13 fricking championships.
- 46:47Speaker 3: Right.
- 46:47Speaker 8: So I'm watching Paige Beckers is on it.
- 46:49Speaker 4: And I'm like, and it's building up.
- 46:51Speaker 8: All this anxiety. She got, she tore ACL, she tore meniscus.
- 46:55Speaker 8: And then like, she's a star player. And then I
- 46:58Speaker 8: got a pain in my stomach. I paused it. I
- 46:59Speaker 8: had to go Google, did she win? And then I
- 47:01Speaker 8: watched the rest of it. And at the end, when
- 47:02Speaker 8: she hugs the coach, I started crying.
- 47:04Speaker 10: I know.
- 47:05Speaker 13: When he's like, I love you. And she's like, I
- 47:07Speaker 13: hate you. Because the relationship that Geno and Paige Beckers
- 47:12Speaker 13: have together, it's truly one of a kind. And Geno,
- 47:15Speaker 13: he is one of those coaches. He does not care.
- 47:17Speaker 13: He is going to tell you exactly how it is,
- 47:19Speaker 13: especially if you want to be great. UConn is one
- 47:21Speaker 13: of those programs. Geno won. He won like 160 games individually.
- 47:25Speaker 13: in a row like that is no easy feat and
- 47:29Speaker 13: so it was really fun because we got a look
- 47:30Speaker 13: on Paige Becker's and AZ Fudd's relationship which has been
- 47:33Speaker 13: huge for the WNBA and they're so and I you
- 47:36Speaker 13: guys know me I am like Paige Becker's number one
- 47:38Speaker 13: fan and doesn't that documentary make you just love her yeah.
- 47:41Speaker 8: She's great I went to her TikTok and watch all
- 47:42Speaker 8: her dances I know she's awesome she it's like god
- 47:45Speaker 8: what the hell's wrong with my microphone why is everything
- 47:46Speaker 8: falling apart in here our phones and microphones anyway uh
- 47:49Speaker 8: but speaking of so then I was all excited to
- 47:51Speaker 8: watch the Mercury now the season's over No, well.
- 47:53Speaker 13: It's playoff season in Mercury. Unfortunately, we didn't have too
- 47:57Speaker 13: good of a season, even though last year we literally
- 47:59Speaker 13: went to the finals. But Kelsey Plum, she is actually
- 48:02Speaker 13: playing tonight, which is going to be a huge deal
- 48:04Speaker 13: because she was one of the players who got traded
- 48:06Speaker 13: in free agency. And so we're hoping that she wants
- 48:08Speaker 13: to stay and that she re-signs with the Mercury.
- 48:10Speaker 2: For next season.
- 48:11Speaker 13: Oh, yeah, so next season.
- 48:12Speaker 2: Bring it home.
- 48:12Speaker 13: She is like a true, true point guard. She went
- 48:15Speaker 13: to University of Washington. She went to UW. She is
- 48:17Speaker 13: so talented, and she's exactly what the Phoenix Mercury needed.
- 48:21Speaker 4: Well, I was very excited.
- 48:22Speaker 8: And it's on Apple TV. It's called Dynasty UConn. Dylan,
- 48:25Speaker 8: who are you taking here?
- 48:26Speaker 4: Who's on line one? All right, it's line five. It's Noel.
- 48:30Speaker 4: Line five is Noel. Noel, hi. Sorry, we're having some
- 48:32Speaker 4: phone problems. Noel, what's up? You're on there.
- 48:33Speaker 14: Hi.
- 48:35Speaker 4: Hi, guys.
- 48:35Speaker 1: Thanks so much for having me on. I have the
- 48:38Speaker 1: worst DIY project you will ever hear.
- 48:40Speaker 4: Okay. Well, let me set this up.
- 48:43Speaker 3: Hold on.
- 48:43Speaker 1: Hold on.
- 48:44Speaker 3: Hold on.
- 48:45Speaker 4: Let me explain. When did we get into that? Was
- 48:47Speaker 4: that yesterday? Yesterday.
- 48:48Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 48:48Speaker 8: Do-it-yourself project has gone wrong.
- 48:50Speaker 4: Okay. So go ahead. So what happened?
- 48:52Speaker 1: So it all started when we moved to a small
- 48:54Speaker 1: town in Nebraska for a job offer I got and
- 48:57Speaker 1: we needed to build a house. We built a house
- 49:00Speaker 1: or had a house built, but when we moved in,
- 49:03Speaker 1: it would rain and the rain would wash away the
- 49:05Speaker 1: dirt from all around this new built house. So my
- 49:09Speaker 1: husband and I took a look outside and we're like, okay,
- 49:11Speaker 1: if we build this retaining wall, it'll maybe be two
- 49:14Speaker 1: feet tall at most.
- 49:15Speaker 4: We don't need a permit. We could do that.
- 49:17Speaker 1: Like, let's totally do it. We, you know, priced out
- 49:20Speaker 1: the materials. We decided to drive 45 minutes to the
- 49:23Speaker 1: nearest hardware store and we bought all of the stuff
- 49:26Speaker 1: we needed with our one drill with the rechargeable battery.
- 49:30Speaker 1: And so we started building and we started in May
- 49:33Speaker 1: and And about a month in, we started adding more
- 49:38Speaker 1: and more layers because somehow it needed to be higher
- 49:41Speaker 1: and higher. And so about eight layers of lumber later,
- 49:46Speaker 1: our retaining wall ended up being over 10 feet tall.
- 49:50Speaker 1: We broke the law and didn't have a permit to
- 49:52Speaker 1: keep building. We didn't know anything about retaining walls. So
- 49:55Speaker 1: there was no drainage behind the retaining wall.
- 49:58Speaker 17: We didn't know.
- 49:58Speaker 1: Where to properly put screws for this retaining wall. And literally,
- 50:03Speaker 1: we had a fine from the town because we built
- 50:06Speaker 1: this wall. We were over $ 5, 500 in materials. We now
- 50:11Speaker 1: have a collection of over 10 different drills that we
- 50:15Speaker 1: bought to try and get through the project. Endless mashed fingers.
- 50:19Speaker 1: And basically at the end of it, water was pouring
- 50:21Speaker 1: like through the back of the retaining wall and through
- 50:24Speaker 1: the lumber out into the neighbor's field, ruining their whole field.
- 50:27Speaker 1: So we ended up having to sell the house and
- 50:31Speaker 1: we moved back to Colorado.
- 50:34Speaker 4: So did the place look like a prison with 10
- 50:36Speaker 4: feet walls? I mean, kind of.
- 50:40Speaker 1: Somebody that came out to help us like backfill the
- 50:42Speaker 1: dirt after we built it said that literally had a
- 50:45Speaker 1: construction company built this wall. It would have been like
- 50:48Speaker 1: a $ 90, 000 retaining wall. And we DIY'd it as best
- 50:52Speaker 1: as we could. And it looked pretty amazing. It just
- 50:55Speaker 1: wasn't a good, efficient retaining wall.
- 50:57Speaker 2: You just completely destroyed your neighbor's property.
- 50:59Speaker 4: Yeah, that is a great one.
- 51:00Speaker 3: Basically.
- 51:01Speaker 1: So I'm no longer allowed to DIY. And we have
- 51:04Speaker 1: some projects that I look over at my husband.
- 51:06Speaker 16: And kind of go, maybe if.
- 51:07Speaker 7: We do this.
- 51:08Speaker 1: And I just get a head nod. So I'm not
- 51:10Speaker 1: allowed to DIY it anymore.
- 51:11Speaker 4: I'll tell you what, though.
- 51:12Speaker 2: A man with 10 power drills, that's a cool thing.
- 51:15Speaker 2: You get cool points from me.
- 51:16Speaker 15: Right?
- 51:16Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 51:17Speaker 17: All right, Noel.
- 51:18Speaker 4: Thanks for sharing that story. I'm glad. Thank you. Thank
- 51:20Speaker 4: you for listening.
- 51:21Speaker 13: Thanks.
- 51:22Speaker 4: That's so great.
- 51:23Speaker 8: Again, if you're just tuning in, the phones in our
- 51:26Speaker 8: producer's room don't work. So Dylan is in here answering phones.
- 51:31Speaker 8: So Dylan, who's on line one?
- 51:33Speaker 4: Isaiah. Isaiah.
- 51:34Speaker 3: Okay.
- 51:35Speaker 8: Isaiah, I believe you're calling about animals, right?
- 51:37Speaker 4: Because we were getting into animals.
- 51:39Speaker 19: Okay.
- 51:40Speaker 4: What's your story, Isaiah?
- 51:42Speaker 16: So I'm moving from Phoenix. I'm moving across the country.
- 51:45Speaker 16: And along the way, I'm like, oh, I'm going to
- 51:46Speaker 16: stop in Colorado, visit my cousin who lives out there.
- 51:49Speaker 16: And she's a river guide in Colorado. And so she
- 51:51Speaker 16: doesn't actually have a house. She lives in one of
- 51:54Speaker 16: the buses that they use to gut it out to
- 51:57Speaker 16: take passengers to the river. And we were out super
- 52:01Speaker 16: late last night, and I was going to leave early
- 52:03Speaker 16: in the morning. And so we said goodbye. And so
- 52:07Speaker 16: she's like, hey, you can sleep in the bus, and
- 52:10Speaker 16: I'll sleep in my car. And I'm like, cool. So
- 52:12Speaker 16: around 1230, 1 a.m., I hear some ruffling in the
- 52:17Speaker 16: bus because they have like a little kitchenette and I'm
- 52:19Speaker 16: sleeping on the couch in the back and there's like
- 52:20Speaker 16: a little kitchenette in the front. And I hear some
- 52:22Speaker 16: ruffling around and she didn't say anything, but she's making
- 52:25Speaker 16: tons of noise. And so I'm like, I'm going to
- 52:27Speaker 16: scare her with my phone flashlight. And so I turn
- 52:31Speaker 16: my phone flashlight on. And I'm not making this up.
- 52:34Speaker 16: I'm not joking. I see a freaking black bear in
- 52:37Speaker 16: the front of the bus. And I'm like, oh, my gosh.
- 52:43Speaker 16: I turn the light off. I'm like, is it going
- 52:44Speaker 16: to charge me? I don't know what's going to happen.
- 52:46Speaker 16: I like quickly try and put my shoes on and
- 52:49Speaker 16: I'm going to try and open the back door.
- 52:50Speaker 8: Of the bus.
- 52:51Speaker 16: But it's stuck. So I'm like, I don't know what
- 52:53Speaker 16: to do. And there's no way that I can take
- 52:55Speaker 16: a freaking bear on. And so it's still making a
- 52:58Speaker 16: bunch of noise in the front of the bus. And
- 53:01Speaker 16: so I'm like, all right, I'm going to turn the
- 53:02Speaker 16: light on again. And I turn the light on again,
- 53:05Speaker 16: and I'm not even joking. The bear's head turns, and
- 53:07Speaker 16: I just see the two little beady eyes staring at me.
- 53:10Speaker 16: And I'm already 6'1. I'm not even joking. This thing
- 53:14Speaker 16: is at least 7 feet tall. Its head is touching
- 53:17Speaker 16: the top of the bus. And luckily, when I turned
- 53:19Speaker 16: the light on the second time, it scurried out the
- 53:21Speaker 16: door of the front of the bus.
- 53:23Speaker 2: I'm like, oh, my.
- 53:25Speaker 16: What just happened? It's freaking midnight, and I'm in a
- 53:28Speaker 16: freaking bus with a freaking black bear.
- 53:32Speaker 2: You were so lucky that that went where the bear
- 53:35Speaker 2: didn't find what it was looking for.
- 53:37Speaker 4: Seriously.
- 53:39Speaker 7: Yeah, dude.
- 53:40Speaker 16: I had no idea, which is, you know, that's why
- 53:43Speaker 16: I ended up at Denny's at 1 a.m. this morning
- 53:46Speaker 16: because I'm like, I clearly can't go back to sleep.
- 53:48Speaker 4: So this is now. This is now. This happened today,
- 53:52Speaker 4: this morning.
- 53:53Speaker 16: Yeah. I haven't slept in it.
- 53:56Speaker 4: And when you left, did you go to your cousin
- 53:58Speaker 4: and say there was a bear in the bus?
- 54:01Speaker 16: So what I did is I waited like 20 minutes
- 54:03Speaker 16: in the bus, and I was looking out the windows.
- 54:04Speaker 16: I'm like, okay, I don't see it. I don't know
- 54:05Speaker 16: if it has like cubs or something with it. And
- 54:07Speaker 16: so I have a Tesla, and so I flashed the
- 54:09Speaker 16: lights on my car, and I was looking at the camera,
- 54:11Speaker 16: and I'm like, okay, there's no activity around my car.
- 54:14Speaker 16: So I waited like 20 minutes, and I just freaking
- 54:16Speaker 16: bolted to my car. And of course, she's sleeping in
- 54:18Speaker 16: her car on a different side of the property, so
- 54:20Speaker 16: she has no idea this happened. So I freaking bulked
- 54:23Speaker 16: to my car and that's when I freaking drive to
- 54:26Speaker 16: Denny's because that was the only thing that was open.
- 54:28Speaker 2: No, Denny's is safe for you.
- 54:29Speaker 8: What about, since you were flashing a light, did you
- 54:31Speaker 8: get a picture or video of the bear?
- 54:34Speaker 16: No, I didn't.
- 54:35Speaker 1: No.
- 54:36Speaker 4: I know your life was on the line.
- 54:37Speaker 8: I got to tell you though, when you say bus,
- 54:40Speaker 8: is it a school bus?
- 54:41Speaker 4: What kind of bus is it? I'm trying to get
- 54:42Speaker 4: a visual.
- 54:45Speaker 16: Have you ever been like salt river tubing? Like one
- 54:47Speaker 16: of those giant buses? Like it's one of those really
- 54:49Speaker 16: big buses, but like it.
- 54:50Speaker 9: Was a couch.
- 54:52Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 54:53Speaker 13: Like a charter bus.
- 54:54Speaker 1: Wow.
- 54:55Speaker 4: So you're right there.
- 54:56Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 54:56Speaker 4: I mean, I don't know.
- 54:57Speaker 8: Look, if you put yourself in that situation, I don't
- 54:59Speaker 8: know if I would have flashed the flashlight the second time.
- 55:02Speaker 8: I think I would have just curled up and prayed
- 55:04Speaker 8: to God that the bear leaves. I don't think I
- 55:05Speaker 8: would have been able to.
- 55:06Speaker 2: You've got to try something.
- 55:07Speaker 16: You know, because, like, I thought she was opening the
- 55:11Speaker 16: door to the bus. And I'm like, okay, it's my cousin, whatever. But, again,
- 55:14Speaker 16: she was making so much noise. And so, like, that's
- 55:15Speaker 16: when I finally woke up. And so when I did
- 55:17Speaker 16: it the first time, I didn't even realize what was
- 55:18Speaker 16: going on until after a couple of seconds because I
- 55:20Speaker 16: had just woken up. And I'm like, oh, dear Lord,
- 55:23Speaker 16: am I dreaming? Like, we thought about taking mushrooms, but
- 55:26Speaker 16: we didn't take any mushrooms.
- 55:29Speaker 2: I mean, I can tell by how fast you're talking
- 55:31Speaker 2: that your heart is still flying out of your chest.
- 55:34Speaker 4: Wow, what a story, man. What a story.
- 55:37Speaker 2: I'm like, thank the Lord that.
- 55:39Speaker 19: I'm still alive.
- 55:40Speaker 16: Like, legit, I had no idea what I was doing.
- 55:45Speaker 2: A seven-foot bear. Who knew that the iPhone flashlight would
- 55:50Speaker 2: save you? You need to get that to the Apple
- 55:52Speaker 2: people so you can get a commercial.
- 55:53Speaker 4: So where are you off to now?
- 55:55Speaker 16: So I'm driving to Florida. That's actually where I got
- 55:58Speaker 16: my new job at. So I'm, yeah, I'm a month away.
- 56:03Speaker 4: I don't think there's a lot of bears there. You
- 56:04Speaker 4: just got to deal with alligators.
- 56:06Speaker 2: Yeah, that's no fun either.
- 56:07Speaker 4: All right, Isaiah. Well, good luck and thanks for listening.
- 56:09Speaker 4: Keep listening. We really appreciate you for calling in. What
- 56:11Speaker 4: a story, man.
- 56:13Speaker 16: Thank you, guys.
- 56:14Speaker 4: What a story.
- 56:15Speaker 9: Also, I may want to give your cousin a heads up.
- 56:16Speaker 17: No, literally.
- 56:17Speaker 9: Just call her.
- 56:20Speaker 17: She's at Denny's.
- 56:21Speaker 2: He's fine. She's having a grand slam. She's still sleeping.
- 56:26Speaker 8: Hey, so just announced this morning, Ciara's Smashing Pumpkins, Stella Lefty,
- 56:29Speaker 8: all joining the iHeartRadio Music Festival. We got your tickets
- 56:32Speaker 8: just after 9 today for free and $ 1, 000 spending cash.
- 56:36Speaker 8: So much going on. Our phones are broken in the back,
- 56:39Speaker 8: but still, please call in and participate.
- 56:41Speaker 4: Anything going on... We are going to get into what
- 56:50Speaker 4: makes couples compatible.
- 56:51Speaker 3: Compatible.
- 56:52Speaker 4: Compatible. Apparently, Cindy's got a revenge story. Last week, we
- 56:56Speaker 4: were talking about revenge.
- 56:58Speaker 8: And apparently, Cindy, you have a revenge story that's fantastic.
- 57:04Speaker 4: Cindy? Is Cindy on line one, Dylan? Oh, she's on
- 57:10Speaker 4: line two. Oops, my bad.
- 57:12Speaker 6: Cindy?
- 57:13Speaker 4: Cindy?
- 57:14Speaker 28: Hello?
- 57:14Speaker 10: Yeah.
- 57:15Speaker 4: Sorry about that. Nope. It's okay.
- 57:17Speaker 15: Yes, I do.
- 57:18Speaker 23: So I have a great revenge story. I was living
- 57:20Speaker 23: in Washington state and I was with my ex-boyfriend for
- 57:23Speaker 23: about two years and I found out that he had
- 57:26Speaker 23: cheated on me. And all the bills were in my name.
- 57:30Speaker 23: So I called the electric, the phone, everything. I had
- 57:33Speaker 23: the bills shut off right then and there. He had
- 57:37Speaker 23: a home phone that he did his work from. Well,
- 57:40Speaker 23: I changed the password so he wasn't able to log
- 57:43Speaker 23: in to check any messages and get his work. And
- 57:47Speaker 23: I collect elephants. And he bought me a very expensive
- 57:50Speaker 23: elephant statue. And I broke it in pieces and left
- 57:53Speaker 23: it all over.
- 57:54Speaker 3: The floor of the house.
- 57:55Speaker 10: Oh, gosh.
- 57:56Speaker 4: You got him good.
- 57:57Speaker 7: Yeah, I did.
- 58:00Speaker 23: Yeah, he came home to everything turned off.
- 58:02Speaker 4: He was like, let's address the broken elephant in the room.
- 58:09Speaker 2: So you guys didn't get back together?
- 58:10Speaker 4: Oh, God, no.
- 58:12Speaker 2: No.
- 58:14Speaker 23: I moved out of his house and I was gone.
- 58:16Speaker 4: How many elephants do you have?
- 58:18Speaker 23: I probably have over 300.
- 58:20Speaker 4: All sizes and stuff? Do you have any real elephants?
- 58:22Speaker 23: All sizes, yeah. They're all like figurines and stuff.
- 58:25Speaker 4: Oh, no real ones?
- 58:27Speaker 2: I wish.
- 58:28Speaker 8: Do you have any stuffed animals of Horton from Horton
- 58:31Speaker 8: Hears a Who?
- 58:32Speaker 2: I do.
- 58:32Speaker 4: I figured that. He's a great elephant.
- 58:34Speaker 23: I have a woolly mammoth.
- 58:35Speaker 4: I have Horton.
- 58:36Speaker 23: I have a Dumbo.
- 58:37Speaker 2: I have it all. All forms of Elephante.
- 58:41Speaker 4: You have it all. I mean, that's everything in life.
- 58:44Speaker 4: Those collections. Well, thank you.
- 58:47Speaker 32: Elephants are life for me.
- 58:48Speaker 4: They are.
- 58:48Speaker 23: Thank you.
- 58:49Speaker 2: You have a good day.
- 58:50Speaker 8: Have you been to the zoo and seen elephants? Or
- 58:51Speaker 8: have you been to safari? Is that a goal of
- 58:53Speaker 8: yours at all to do that?
- 58:56Speaker 23: So when I first moved to Tucson, I actually volunteered
- 58:58Speaker 23: at the zoo because they said that we would be
- 59:01Speaker 23: able to work with elephants. But they lied.
- 59:03Speaker 1: All I was doing.
- 59:04Speaker 23: Was picking up elephant poop so that it would last.
- 59:07Speaker 1: Too long.
- 59:07Speaker 2: That is working with elephants.
- 59:09Speaker 16: Yeah.
- 59:10Speaker 9: But you want to hang out with the elephants, not
- 59:12Speaker 9: the zoo.
- 59:12Speaker 4: Let me tell you something.
- 59:13Speaker 8: I think the Tucson Zoo is one of the best
- 59:16Speaker 8: zoos in the country, if not the best zoo.
- 59:18Speaker 4: It's all right there.
- 59:20Speaker 23: It is, especially whenever you have a kid who doesn't
- 59:24Speaker 23: pay attention a lot. It's small, so they don't get
- 59:26Speaker 23: bored easy.
- 59:27Speaker 4: That's why I like it. You see all the animals
- 59:29Speaker 4: in 10 minutes. Yeah, and they're right there.
- 59:31Speaker 3: Exactly.
- 59:32Speaker 1: It's great.
- 59:33Speaker 4: Well, thank you, Cindy. Thanks for listening.
- 59:35Speaker 13: All right.
- 59:35Speaker 2: Thank you.
- 59:36Speaker 24: Y'all have a good day.
- 59:37Speaker 8: Okay, so Peyton's got this list on what makes couples compatible. 877-937-1047.
- 59:42Speaker 8: We're going to go over this list. Also, what makes
- 59:47Speaker 8: you compatible? We're getting to it next after Dominic Feig.
- 59:49Speaker 8: All right, Peyton's got this list of what makes a
- 59:56Speaker 8: couple compatible. compatible, but first, Faith, before we get into
- 1:00:00Speaker 8: the list, Faith, what makes a couple compatible for you?
- 1:00:06Speaker 7: For me, it's the people that never post online how
- 1:00:08Speaker 7: happy they are.
- 1:00:10Speaker 2: Well, you know, Faith, I'm on your side with that.
- 1:00:13Speaker 2: Because I feel like the more you go on about
- 1:00:16Speaker 2: your other online, the more trouble you guys are in.
- 1:00:19Speaker 4: Is that your theory, Faith?
- 1:00:21Speaker 2: Yeah, basically.
- 1:00:23Speaker 7: Every time I see those people that are like, My.
- 1:00:25Speaker 24: Partner's so great.
- 1:00:26Speaker 32: He's so awesome.
- 1:00:27Speaker 7: He's so great.
- 1:00:28Speaker 22: And we're doing this and.
- 1:00:29Speaker 7: We're doing that.
- 1:00:30Speaker 9: I'm like, you guys are so not happy.
- 1:00:32Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:00:32Speaker 2: I'm okay with the picture of the two of you
- 1:00:34Speaker 2: and like, happy birthday, Dan. That's it. Yeah, exactly. That's
- 1:00:38Speaker 2: all Dan needs.
- 1:00:38Speaker 32: Love you.
- 1:00:39Speaker 7: Love you. Happy birthday.
- 1:00:41Speaker 8: You're the best.
- 1:00:42Speaker 11: I wonder what the term is going to be for that. Because,
- 1:00:45Speaker 11: you know, when you're in a relationship and it's kind
- 1:00:47Speaker 11: of like that, it's called love bombing.
- 1:00:49Speaker 10: Yes.
- 1:00:49Speaker 9: So I wonder what, like the social media version of.
- 1:00:51Speaker 3: That term is.
- 1:00:51Speaker 2: Unnecessary relationship bragging.
- 1:00:54Speaker 9: It's kind of long, but I think we can workshop it.
- 1:00:57Speaker 4: Well, thank you, Faith. Peyton, is that on the list?
- 1:00:59Speaker 13: Not that exactly. This is things that what actually makes
- 1:01:03Speaker 13: a couple compatible. So a relationship expert, she was talking
- 1:01:06Speaker 13: about how like the strongest couples aren't necessarily the couples
- 1:01:09Speaker 13: who never fight. So I think she might have, she
- 1:01:12Speaker 13: has a point there because if you're posting on social media,
- 1:01:14Speaker 13: you're probably trying to distract and disguise and, you know,
- 1:01:17Speaker 13: play like play people for a fool for what your
- 1:01:20Speaker 13: relationship truly is versus being actually vulnerable.
- 1:01:24Speaker 5: Good.
- 1:01:25Speaker 13: Yeah.
- 1:01:26Speaker 1: Okay.
- 1:01:26Speaker 4: So what is one on the list?
- 1:01:29Speaker 13: If you can take feedback from your partner, then that
- 1:01:31Speaker 13: means that you're probably compatible with them. If you don't
- 1:01:34Speaker 13: go into defense mode and gain your feelings that they're
- 1:01:37Speaker 13: attacking you, if you can just take it to the
- 1:01:39Speaker 13: chest and be ready to move on.
- 1:01:41Speaker 2: Isn't it how you deliver the feedback, though, too?
- 1:01:43Speaker 11: Yeah, which I think speaks to compatibility because you have
- 1:01:47Speaker 11: to know your partner. And know how to approach them
- 1:01:50Speaker 11: if you're going to bring them some sort of feedback. Like,
- 1:01:53Speaker 11: you know, Rich, Stacy could come to you and say
- 1:01:55Speaker 11: something like, you know, I don't really like the music
- 1:01:57Speaker 11: that you're making.
- 1:01:58Speaker 29: Right?
- 1:01:58Speaker 9: And that would hurt.
- 1:02:00Speaker 11: But if Stacy knows you really well, she could be like,
- 1:02:02Speaker 11: I think your talents would be useful elsewhere.
- 1:02:04Speaker 9: And maybe a different style of music. Or something.
- 1:02:07Speaker 19: You know what I mean?
- 1:02:08Speaker 2: I think your talents would be more useful if you
- 1:02:10Speaker 2: sold all your guitars.
- 1:02:12Speaker 4: Christina, what makes a couple compatible?
- 1:02:16Speaker 18: First, I agree with Faith, but what I think is
- 1:02:20Speaker 18: speaking about.
- 1:02:21Speaker 30: That other person in rooms that other person is not in.
- 1:02:26Speaker 2: Oh, so when you talk..
- 1:02:28Speaker 13: How they speak about that person.
- 1:02:29Speaker 2: You talk nice about them when they're not around.
- 1:02:32Speaker 7: Yeah, you don't go behind their back and, you know,
- 1:02:35Speaker 7: you're talking crap or disrespecting them.
- 1:02:38Speaker 22: You always have respect for them.
- 1:02:40Speaker 4: So you can go behind their back, you just have
- 1:02:42Speaker 4: to say nice things.
- 1:02:43Speaker 1: Mm-hmm.
- 1:02:45Speaker 24: Yes.
- 1:02:45Speaker 9: Okay.
- 1:02:48Speaker 13: No, I'm with you. How your partner speaks about you
- 1:02:51Speaker 13: when you are not around says everything. And that definitely
- 1:02:54Speaker 13: falls in line with they know how to set boundaries.
- 1:02:56Speaker 13: Healthy boundaries, how you speak about your partner is a
- 1:03:00Speaker 13: big one.
- 1:03:00Speaker 2: Everybody in this room, I feel like, does that too.
- 1:03:04Speaker 2: I see them building up their partner in here.
- 1:03:06Speaker 4: Terrence, you're on the air. What do you think about
- 1:03:07Speaker 4: compatibility in couples?
- 1:03:09Speaker 15: So one of the big things when me and my
- 1:03:10Speaker 15: wife go out to dinner or any kind of event,
- 1:03:13Speaker 15: we always see couples sitting at a table by themselves
- 1:03:16Speaker 15: and they're both on the phones with each other. So
- 1:03:18Speaker 15: we see couples engaging with each other just when we
- 1:03:20Speaker 15: know they're compatible.
- 1:03:22Speaker 8: But you also don't know what's going on at that
- 1:03:24Speaker 8: very second. Hey, what time does the movie start? I'll
- 1:03:26Speaker 8: check this theater. You check that theater.
- 1:03:28Speaker 4: And you just happen to see them.
- 1:03:30Speaker 3: This goes on for a long period of time.
- 1:03:31Speaker 15: We can be there for an hour and they'll be
- 1:03:33Speaker 15: on the phones for the entire hour.
- 1:03:35Speaker 9: You're like, why are you even there together?
- 1:03:37Speaker 4: And Terrence, I think you brought up something.
- 1:03:39Speaker 2: When you're with somebody that you're compatible with, what you
- 1:03:43Speaker 2: do is you watch other couples and you start breaking
- 1:03:45Speaker 2: down what they're doing together. So you're like almost being
- 1:03:47Speaker 2: like secret spies together. I think that's a fun couple thing.
- 1:03:49Speaker 2: I love watching other couples.
- 1:03:50Speaker 26: Oh, me too.
- 1:03:51Speaker 27: It's the best.
- 1:03:51Speaker 8: I was eating dinner and I was watching... my wife
- 1:03:53Speaker 8: and I were watching another couple on their phones. And
- 1:03:56Speaker 8: what was funny is the woman was taking pictures of
- 1:03:58Speaker 8: her food and the husband was taking pictures of her
- 1:04:01Speaker 8: taking pictures of her food.
- 1:04:03Speaker 9: That's funny.
- 1:04:04Speaker 4: Thanks Terrence. What else on that list Peyton?
- 1:04:06Speaker 13: They actually say what they need. Like if they aren't,
- 1:04:11Speaker 13: they're not, we're not mind readers out here, right? So
- 1:04:13Speaker 13: if you go to your partner and you say, Hey,
- 1:04:14Speaker 13: I need some more affection and some reassurance. And your
- 1:04:17Speaker 13: partner actually takes that and understands and makes the steps
- 1:04:20Speaker 13: that To change that, you're probably pretty compatible.
- 1:04:25Speaker 4: Cecilia?
- 1:04:25Speaker 23: Good morning.
- 1:04:28Speaker 4: What makes a couple compatible?
- 1:04:32Speaker 23: I think that what makes a couple the most compatible,
- 1:04:35Speaker 23: in my opinion, is the fact that you guys can.
- 1:04:38Speaker 22: Never find things to..
- 1:04:41Speaker 23: We'll never find things to.
- 1:04:43Speaker 18: Run out of, like, topics.
- 1:04:45Speaker 23: Like, you don't... The, um..
- 1:04:49Speaker 22: Laughter is always there.
- 1:04:50Speaker 23: You guys have, you know, never run out of things.
- 1:04:52Speaker 7: To talk about.
- 1:04:53Speaker 5: There you go.
- 1:04:54Speaker 17: All right.
- 1:04:54Speaker 4: Well, thank you, Justine. What about you? What makes couples compatible?
- 1:05:00Speaker 22: Did you say Justine?
- 1:05:01Speaker 4: I sure did. Hello.
- 1:05:03Speaker 16: Hi.
- 1:05:04Speaker 22: I think this is totally off base of what everybody
- 1:05:07Speaker 22: else is saying, but I found out that me and
- 1:05:09Speaker 22: my husband were compatible when we both hated camping. Okay.
- 1:05:13Speaker 2: So you have disdain for the outdoors together. I'm not
- 1:05:17Speaker 2: against that.
- 1:05:18Speaker 7: You spend a lot of money to live homeless.
- 1:05:20Speaker 4: Were you camping when you both discovered this? Were you together?
- 1:05:25Speaker 15: No.
- 1:05:25Speaker 22: No, we just both decided, and I was like, I
- 1:05:27Speaker 22: hate camping. I just want to put it out there,
- 1:05:29Speaker 22: and I'll never go camping. And he's like, me too.
- 1:05:31Speaker 22: And I was like, perfect.
- 1:05:32Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean, a nice hotel. That's nice.
- 1:05:34Speaker 4: Do you guys have kids?
- 1:05:35Speaker 23: Exactly.
- 1:05:36Speaker 11: We do.
- 1:05:37Speaker 22: We have six between the two of us. But camping
- 1:05:39Speaker 22: for us is like staying anything under a four-star hotel.
- 1:05:42Speaker 4: Is anything, any of your kids Boy Scouts? Because that's
- 1:05:45Speaker 4: a big part of camping.
- 1:05:47Speaker 17: No, definitely not.
- 1:05:48Speaker 13: She's like, and I would not put them in there
- 1:05:51Speaker 13: if there was a choice.
- 1:05:52Speaker 22: And I didn't even think I was going to hold
- 1:05:55Speaker 22: the note with you guys, but I had some cocktails
- 1:05:57Speaker 22: and I was drinking and I was like, well, obviously
- 1:05:59Speaker 22: it's that. No camping and having separate bank accounts.
- 1:06:02Speaker 2: Wait a minute, you're having cocktails right now?
- 1:06:05Speaker 22: No, I was at the gym. I didn't think you
- 1:06:07Speaker 22: guys were going to call, so I'm.
- 1:06:08Speaker 7: Kind of breathless because I was on the treadmill. So
- 1:06:10Speaker 7: I was like, here I am.
- 1:06:11Speaker 4: All right. Thanks, Justine. Thank you.
- 1:06:13Speaker 2: Yep.
- 1:06:14Speaker 4: Melissa, good morning.
- 1:06:17Speaker 32: Good morning.
- 1:06:18Speaker 4: What makes couples compatible?
- 1:06:21Speaker 32: I think for my husband and I anyways, it's opposites attract.
- 1:06:25Speaker 32: He's very chill and I'm not so chill maybe sometimes.
- 1:06:31Speaker 32: He's very relaxed and calm.
- 1:06:34Speaker 4: All right. Thank you, Melissa.
- 1:06:35Speaker 13: I've got that 100%.
- 1:06:36Speaker 2: Type A, type B.
- 1:06:38Speaker 13: The yin and the yang.
- 1:06:40Speaker 19: Yeah.
- 1:06:40Speaker 4: Have you hit this whole list already?
- 1:06:42Speaker 12: Yeah.
- 1:06:43Speaker 13: I mean, and everyone that had called in, I feel
- 1:06:45Speaker 13: like has definitely hit on this list. They're willing to
- 1:06:47Speaker 13: be vulnerable. If you know how to set boundaries with
- 1:06:50Speaker 13: your partner and kind of put your foot down, then
- 1:06:52Speaker 13: you're probably pretty compatible with your person.
- 1:06:54Speaker 1: Okay.
- 1:06:54Speaker 4: So if you go over a mom real quick.
- 1:06:56Speaker 13: They can take feedback. They actually say what they need.
- 1:07:01Speaker 13: They're willing to be vulnerable and they know how to
- 1:07:03Speaker 13: set boundaries.
- 1:07:04Speaker 4: Okay.
- 1:07:05Speaker 2: Those are serious.
- 1:07:06Speaker 26: Yeah.
- 1:07:06Speaker 13: And this is from a relationship expert. So, you know,
- 1:07:09Speaker 13: does it.
- 1:07:10Speaker 4: Say the person's name? Who's the election?
- 1:07:11Speaker 13: It doesn't say the person's name. It just says I
- 1:07:15Speaker 13: am relationship.
- 1:07:16Speaker 4: You have to remain anonymous.
- 1:07:17Speaker 2: Do you know one of the things I think works
- 1:07:19Speaker 2: is like if there's a serious situation and you can
- 1:07:22Speaker 2: make the other person laugh, that's good.
- 1:07:24Speaker 9: Oh, yeah, for sure.
- 1:07:25Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:07:25Speaker 2: You can break the break the tension with a funny joke.
- 1:07:28Speaker 13: Also, too, I know we had talked earlier, like, if
- 1:07:31Speaker 13: you can just keep a conversation going and always have
- 1:07:33Speaker 13: laughter and fun. For me, I feel like if I
- 1:07:35Speaker 13: can just be quiet and be in nothingness with you
- 1:07:38Speaker 13: and not feel awkward or weird or pressure.
- 1:07:41Speaker 9: That's a good one.
- 1:07:41Speaker 19: Yeah.
- 1:07:42Speaker 13: I feel like if you can just be.
- 1:07:44Speaker 9: Because it's just complete comfort that way.
- 1:07:45Speaker 19: Hold on.
- 1:07:48Speaker 4: Denise says something.
- 1:07:50Speaker 2: Hey, Denise.
- 1:07:51Speaker 4: What makes a couple compatible?
- 1:07:56Speaker 1: Denise?
- 1:07:56Speaker 29: Denise?
- 1:07:57Speaker 13: Oh, sorry.
- 1:07:59Speaker 28: So my biggest thing I'm going to say is the
- 1:08:02Speaker 28: same sense of humor. I think that makes a couple
- 1:08:06Speaker 28: so compatible because if you have super dry, dark humor
- 1:08:10Speaker 28: and the other one has a very light humor, it's
- 1:08:14Speaker 28: not going to work out because you're going to throw
- 1:08:16Speaker 28: jokes at them and it's not going to land. And
- 1:08:19Speaker 28: it's just going to be a fight after fight.
- 1:08:20Speaker 20: But you need to be able to mess around with
- 1:08:23Speaker 20: each other, joke with each other, kind of like... be
- 1:08:26Speaker 20: on the same lane with each other. Cause then it's,
- 1:08:30Speaker 20: it's just not going to work. Like imagine someone that's
- 1:08:32Speaker 20: just like, Oh my God, you're going to wear that.
- 1:08:34Speaker 20: And then they just like, Oh my God, which one.
- 1:08:36Speaker 4: Is what I'm wearing?
- 1:08:37Speaker 20: Like you need to be able to take the joke. Like,
- 1:08:41Speaker 20: you know, like I was just kidding. Like if they
- 1:08:43Speaker 20: don't get the joke and they don't get your sense
- 1:08:45Speaker 20: of humor, I don't think it's going to work.
- 1:08:47Speaker 4: Yeah, I agree. Well, there's an evolution to that, I think.
- 1:08:50Speaker 2: Yeah, you've got to kind of train them to take
- 1:08:52Speaker 2: the darkness. Train them.
- 1:08:53Speaker 13: I think, though, what Denise is saying is find your
- 1:08:55Speaker 13: person who is already there so you don't even have
- 1:08:58Speaker 13: to worry about that.
- 1:09:00Speaker 2: You know, you find a nice one and get them
- 1:09:01Speaker 2: to laugh at the darker stuff.
- 1:09:03Speaker 11: People are adaptable, but you kind of, you need someone
- 1:09:06Speaker 11: to be open to that too.
- 1:09:08Speaker 4: Hey, on TV tonight, our guy Gino, right? How do
- 1:09:12Speaker 4: you say his name?
- 1:09:14Speaker 3: No, no, no.
- 1:09:15Speaker 4: Gino from America.
- 1:09:16Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 1:09:17Speaker 8: Gino Plager is performing on America's Got Talent tonight.
- 1:09:21Speaker 4: And he's from here. We want him to win.
- 1:09:23Speaker 2: The magician. He's amazing.
- 1:09:25Speaker 8: So we're going to post on our Instagram the numbers
- 1:09:27Speaker 8: to vote for him because we want him to win.
- 1:09:30Speaker 8: So if you're watching America's Got Talent tonight, look for him.
- 1:09:33Speaker 8: He's from Phoenix, and he's a superstar, this kid.
- 1:09:36Speaker 4: Superstar. So Gino Plager. We'll post it up on John
- 1:09:41Speaker 4: Jay and Rich, right?
- 1:09:41Speaker 8: We'll post up all the numbers so you can vote
- 1:09:44Speaker 8: for him. Tame Impala tickets on the line in less
- 1:09:46Speaker 8: than 20 minutes. We're going to play Mic Drop. Keep
- 1:09:48Speaker 8: listening for the cue to call. But we are going
- 1:09:50Speaker 8: to dive into what's happening in Hollywood. Kyle and Peyton
- 1:09:52Speaker 8: got stuff on Cardi B, Doja Cat, Joe Jonah. So
- 1:09:54Speaker 8: much to get to. That is next with John Jay
- 1:09:56Speaker 8: and Rich.
- 1:09:57Speaker 30: All right, Kyle and Peyton, what do you guys got.
- 1:10:01Speaker 2: For entertainment news?
- 1:10:04Speaker 11: They just released the interview and private performance that Taylor
- 1:10:07Speaker 11: Swift did at a Grammy event.
- 1:10:09Speaker 9: And it's fascinating. Like, her performance is just her and
- 1:10:12Speaker 9: the piano and a mashup of four of her songs.
- 1:10:14Speaker 9: And it's absolutely beautiful. And the interview is actually really long.
- 1:10:17Speaker 9: And she talks about a lot of things.
- 1:10:19Speaker 11: But I did think it was interesting because one portion
- 1:10:21Speaker 11: of it, they brought up the fact that she could
- 1:10:25Speaker 11: be one of the only songwriters ever. that has to
- 1:10:28Speaker 11: deal with everyone dissecting every single thing about every single
- 1:10:31Speaker 11: song because everyone.
- 1:10:33Speaker 9: Wants to know what's going on in her life.
- 1:10:35Speaker 11: And a lot of times everyone really breaks down her
- 1:10:38Speaker 11: lyrics and kind of, you know, they're hard on Taylor Swift.
- 1:10:42Speaker 9: And they said, Is that difficult for you?
- 1:10:45Speaker 11: Like, does that give.
- 1:10:46Speaker 9: You writer's block at all when you're in the studio?
- 1:10:49Speaker 11: Does it stop you from writing things?
- 1:10:51Speaker 9: And she said, it's actually kind of the opposite.
- 1:10:53Speaker 7: I don't know.
- 1:10:54Speaker 3: Sometimes it fuels it.
- 1:10:55Speaker 14: Sometimes when people are mocking me, it's really fun to
- 1:10:58Speaker 14: mock them back. Sometimes I like to just use words
- 1:11:04Speaker 14: that they have to look up in order to talk
- 1:11:06Speaker 14: about it. But I go through several processes and coping
- 1:11:10Speaker 14: mechanisms that I've gone through over the years. And one
- 1:11:12Speaker 14: of them is saying, you chose this.
- 1:11:14Speaker 4: You chose this every day.
- 1:11:15Speaker 14: You could have opted out of this any day before
- 1:11:18Speaker 14: it got unmanageably big. And I decided not to because
- 1:11:21Speaker 14: I love it that much. And that's just where it
- 1:11:23Speaker 14: begins and where it ends. And everything that comes with
- 1:11:26Speaker 14: this ultimately is worth it as long as I get
- 1:11:28Speaker 14: to still make music.
- 1:11:30Speaker 2: Good for you. That's an artist right there.
- 1:11:32Speaker 10: Yeah.
- 1:11:32Speaker 11: And Swifties pulled a part of the interview out where
- 1:11:35Speaker 11: she was talking about how she's rerecorded all of her
- 1:11:37Speaker 11: old music, but hasn't quite released that first one yet,
- 1:11:41Speaker 11: which is the rumor that it's coming out.
- 1:11:43Speaker 9: And that that that like sort of sealed the deal
- 1:11:45Speaker 9: for Swifties.
- 1:11:46Speaker 13: That's going to be huge. Okay, the iHeartRadio Music Festival,
- 1:11:50Speaker 13: it is next month. It is coming up out of nowhere.
- 1:11:52Speaker 13: It is going down in Las Vegas at the T-Mobile
- 1:11:54Speaker 13: Arena on September 18th and the 19th. And it was
- 1:11:57Speaker 13: just announced this morning that Ciara, Stella Lefty, and the
- 1:12:02Speaker 13: Smashing Pumpkins are all going to be performing. They're going
- 1:12:04Speaker 13: to be joining BTS, Snoop Dogg, Cardi B, Benson Boone,
- 1:12:08Speaker 13: Zara Larson. It is going to be absolutely insane. You
- 1:12:12Speaker 13: can get your tickets now at AXS.com.
- 1:12:14Speaker 11: I just think it's so fun that as... Like it
- 1:12:18Speaker 11: was already a crazy lineup.
- 1:12:20Speaker 4: You know what I mean?
- 1:12:21Speaker 11: And as we get closer and closer, I heart, we
- 1:12:23Speaker 11: always just like announce more people and it just like
- 1:12:25Speaker 11: makes it even more bananas.
- 1:12:26Speaker 9: And very, very exciting. I thought this was kind of wild.
- 1:12:30Speaker 11: Doja Cat, she was doing an interview and somehow it
- 1:12:34Speaker 11: was on Kayla Presley's Sunday conversation. Somehow this ridiculous Darth
- 1:12:38Speaker 11: Vader joke came to this revelation that Doja Cat has
- 1:12:43Speaker 11: no idea who Ella Langley is.
- 1:12:45Speaker 2: Are you more of a Darth or an Ella? There's
- 1:12:47Speaker 2: another Vader.
- 1:12:49Speaker 3: Ella Vader.
- 1:12:49Speaker 10: You think I was talking about Ella Langley?
- 1:12:51Speaker 3: Are you an Ella's fella?
- 1:12:52Speaker 9: I don't know what that is.
- 1:12:53Speaker 2: Do you like Ella Langley?
- 1:12:55Speaker 9: I don't know what that is.
- 1:12:56Speaker 4: Ella Langley.
- 1:12:58Speaker 13: Ella Langley.
- 1:12:59Speaker 4: People love her.
- 1:12:59Speaker 1: Okay.
- 1:13:00Speaker 4: You gotta check her out.
- 1:13:00Speaker 3: You'd like her.
- 1:13:02Speaker 2: I do like Darth Vader in Elevator, though. That's fun.
- 1:13:05Speaker 8: I feel like she was confused by those questions and
- 1:13:07Speaker 8: her brain wasn't in the right spot.
- 1:13:09Speaker 4: It was confusing to hear that.
- 1:13:10Speaker 11: It was confusing, but then also when he says Ella
- 1:13:12Speaker 11: Langley and she's like, I don't know who that is.
- 1:13:14Speaker 9: And then it's like, are you Ella's fella? I don't
- 1:13:16Speaker 9: know what that is either.
- 1:13:16Speaker 8: Because even like Drake, you see Drake was there singing
- 1:13:19Speaker 8: her songs.
- 1:13:19Speaker 4: Yeah, at her show.
- 1:13:21Speaker 13: Isn't Ella's fella? I mean, he literally slid into her
- 1:13:24Speaker 13: comments and was like, you have like the goat pen.
- 1:13:27Speaker 11: Well, and there's now rumors that Ella Langley and Drake
- 1:13:30Speaker 11: are going to have a collab, which would be actually.
- 1:13:32Speaker 9: Really, really cool.
- 1:13:33Speaker 13: I'm sure Doja Cat would know who Ella Langley is
- 1:13:36Speaker 13: if she did a song with Drake.
- 1:13:37Speaker 9: Yeah, for sure.
- 1:13:39Speaker 11: Then then Doja would be in the know. This is
- 1:13:42Speaker 11: actually very funny. So there was a sold out show
- 1:13:44Speaker 11: for the Jonas Brothers at Madison Square Garden.
- 1:13:46Speaker 9: And Joe Jonas spotted this fan and she had a sign.
- 1:13:49Speaker 9: She's holding it up. Husbands have no clue about round two.
- 1:13:53Speaker 4: Help us tell them.
- 1:13:55Speaker 11: And so like Joe sees this and is like, this
- 1:13:57Speaker 11: is really awesome.
- 1:13:59Speaker 9: And thought it was like her announcing a pregnancy.
- 1:14:01Speaker 13: Yeah.
- 1:14:02Speaker 11: So Joe recorded this message on her phone. So that
- 1:14:14Speaker 11: sounds really exciting, but the husbands are probably freaking out
- 1:14:18Speaker 11: because that wasn't the actual announcement. The sign was like
- 1:14:23Speaker 11: no clue about round two. They got tickets to another
- 1:14:26Speaker 11: Jonas Brothers show.
- 1:14:27Speaker 4: Oh, that's what round two means?
- 1:14:28Speaker 19: Yeah.
- 1:14:29Speaker 9: Round two didn't mean more kids.
- 1:14:30Speaker 4: It just meant.
- 1:14:31Speaker 13: Seeing the Jonas Brothers again.
- 1:14:32Speaker 2: Jonas Brothers also had no idea about round two. They
- 1:14:36Speaker 2: didn't know what that meant.
- 1:14:37Speaker 5: I know.
- 1:14:37Speaker 9: I thought that was so funny.
- 1:14:38Speaker 11: Cardi B, she loves shopping, and she loves sharing her shopping.
- 1:14:42Speaker 11: She took to TikTok to share her most recent haul,
- 1:14:46Speaker 11: and it's insane. So she's talking about this Chanel purse
- 1:14:50Speaker 11: she just got.
- 1:14:50Speaker 31: We're going to start off with this bag that I
- 1:14:52Speaker 31: wore today.
- 1:14:53Speaker 1: Oh!
- 1:14:54Speaker 31: And I actually bought her today. When I went to
- 1:14:56Speaker 31: Chanel to try to get this bag, guess what? I
- 1:14:59Speaker 31: got there too late. Jordan Woods got there before me
- 1:15:02Speaker 31: 30 minutes earlier. So she snatched the last bag that
- 1:15:05Speaker 31: they had of this one in New York, but they
- 1:15:08Speaker 31: still sold me this one.
- 1:15:09Speaker 16: So whatever.
- 1:15:11Speaker 11: She then goes on to like show this Bottega bag,
- 1:15:14Speaker 11: like the Hermes Birkin bags. So this whole haul over
- 1:15:18Speaker 11: the last, I think she says you got them in
- 1:15:19Speaker 11: like five weeks, $ 187, 000 on designer bags.
- 1:15:21Speaker 13: Jeez, girl.
- 1:15:21Speaker 9: Shoring is good.
- 1:15:25Speaker 13: I'm like wondering what that conversation is like when Cardi
- 1:15:28Speaker 13: B walks into Chanel and she's like, oh, I really
- 1:15:30Speaker 13: want them. Like, sorry. Jordan, be to it, babe.
- 1:15:33Speaker 9: You can have this one.
- 1:15:34Speaker 13: She's like cursing her out of the store. The NFL
- 1:15:38Speaker 13: just teamed up with Disney, Champion and Fanatics for literally
- 1:15:41Speaker 13: the most like iconic fashion collab. So all 32 NFL
- 1:15:44Speaker 13: teams got teamed up with an iconic Disney, Pixar, Marvel
- 1:15:48Speaker 13: or Star Wars character. So every franchise. Got a custom
- 1:15:51Speaker 13: character to match their vibes. So Woody is Dallas Cowboys.
- 1:15:54Speaker 13: Simba for the Detroit Lions. Captain America for the Patriots.
- 1:15:57Speaker 13: Us in Arizona, we got Jafar and Yago, his little parrot.
- 1:16:02Speaker 13: So I was like really excited.
- 1:16:03Speaker 4: Who got Star Wars?
- 1:16:06Speaker 13: There was a couple. I don't remember who got Star Wars.
- 1:16:07Speaker 13: But I remember them being pretty dope. Cause there was
- 1:16:10Speaker 13: one with like a Darth Vader one and it was
- 1:16:12Speaker 13: pretty cool, but the bears had Winnie the Pooh. So
- 1:16:15Speaker 13: I thought it was pretty dope. Do you remember what
- 1:16:17Speaker 13: it is? The Atlanta Falcons had the millennium Falcon and, uh,
- 1:16:22Speaker 13: the Green.
- 1:16:23Speaker 4: Bay Packers had Chewbacca. Like he was on hot nerd talk.
- 1:16:27Speaker 10: Yeah.
- 1:16:27Speaker 13: So there was a ton of really cool. I thought
- 1:16:29Speaker 13: it was pretty, I thought it was pretty dope.
- 1:16:31Speaker 8: Probably jump back to the Jonas brothers. Um, If you've
- 1:16:34Speaker 8: watched Sterling Point, I think one of the funniest things
- 1:16:36Speaker 8: is when the dude has the Camp Rock 2 party.
- 1:16:38Speaker 13: Yeah.
- 1:16:39Speaker 4: Birthday party. Not Camp Rock 1. Not Camp Rock 1.
- 1:16:42Speaker 3: No.
- 1:16:44Speaker 4: So funny.
- 1:16:45Speaker 8: Tame Impala coming to Mortgage Matchup Center. We got your
- 1:16:48Speaker 8: free tickets right now. We're going to play Mic Drop, 877-937-1047.
- 1:16:50Speaker 8: We'll do it after Bieber. You should go and love yourself.
- 1:16:54Speaker 3: All right, we're going to play games.
- 1:16:58Speaker 8: John Jay and Ritz, Kiss FM, Francisca, good morning.
- 1:17:02Speaker 28: Good morning.
- 1:17:03Speaker 4: We're playing mic drop.
- 1:17:04Speaker 3: Peyton.
- 1:17:06Speaker 5: Yes.
- 1:17:06Speaker 1: Okay.
- 1:17:07Speaker 13: So mic drop. This is how we play. You have
- 1:17:09Speaker 13: three chances to get points in this game. I am
- 1:17:12Speaker 13: going to give you a word. You have to sing
- 1:17:14Speaker 13: a song with that word in it. If you sing
- 1:17:16Speaker 13: the song that I pick, you also get another point. Also,
- 1:17:18Speaker 13: you get a point for energy.
- 1:17:20Speaker 9: So with.
- 1:17:21Speaker 13: Some new announcements to our I Heart Radio Music Festival
- 1:17:24Speaker 13: that's coming up next month. That's the theme. The artists
- 1:17:28Speaker 13: that I'm going to play for you are all artists
- 1:17:30Speaker 13: who are performing at this year's I Heart Radio Music Festival.
- 1:17:33Speaker 22: Okay, John Jay?
- 1:17:33Speaker 4: Okay.
- 1:17:34Speaker 8: All right.
- 1:17:34Speaker 13: Your word is butter.
- 1:17:37Speaker 3: Butter?
- 1:17:37Speaker 13: Mm-hmm.
- 1:17:39Speaker 1: Butter.
- 1:17:40Speaker 4: I feel like I want to sing a BTS song.
- 1:17:42Speaker 1: Uh-huh.
- 1:17:42Speaker 13: I think you should do that.
- 1:17:43Speaker 4: Butter, butter, butter. But I keep thinking of dynamite. Butterface
- 1:17:46Speaker 4: is ugly.
- 1:17:48Speaker 7: Butterface.
- 1:17:49Speaker 4: She's got a butterface. Nice body, but her face is ugly.
- 1:17:52Speaker 18: Dynamite.
- 1:17:53Speaker 13: Are you freestyling over there?
- 1:17:55Speaker 3: Oh, my gosh.
- 1:18:04Speaker 13: Yeah, John Jay, I will give you one point for
- 1:18:07Speaker 13: energy there. Like, I mean, I appreciated the..
- 1:18:10Speaker 4: I mean, I got the artist and the song.
- 1:18:12Speaker 13: You didn't get the artist.
- 1:18:13Speaker 1: You know what? Yep.
- 1:18:14Speaker 13: I just sang it wrong.
- 1:18:15Speaker 4: I will give you two points for that.
- 1:18:16Speaker 13: Yeah, I will give you two points. Good job, John Jay.
- 1:18:19Speaker 13: All right, Rich, we move over to you. Your word
- 1:18:21Speaker 13: is Iris.
- 1:18:23Speaker 2: And I don't want the world to see me. Because
- 1:18:27Speaker 2: I don't think that they'd understand.
- 1:18:31Speaker 12: When everything's made to be broken.
- 1:18:34Speaker 2: I just want you to know who I am.
- 1:18:38Speaker 9: Oh, energy off of that charm.
- 1:18:42Speaker 13: You want to play the enrage for us too?
- 1:18:45Speaker 2: So I've been watching pageant girls rehearse for the pageant
- 1:18:48Speaker 2: at my house. They all throw their arms.
- 1:18:50Speaker 13: Out.
- 1:18:50Speaker 2: So I figured I should do that, too.
- 1:18:53Speaker 13: I really loved that visual. Good job, Rich. You're going
- 1:18:56Speaker 13: to get three points. Goo Goo Dolls, Iris. Fabulous. Kyle,
- 1:19:00Speaker 13: your word is up.
- 1:19:03Speaker 9: We're going up, up, up.
- 1:19:05Speaker 13: It's our moment.
- 1:19:08Speaker 15: Oh, I wish.
- 1:19:08Speaker 9: Gonna be, gonna be golden.
- 1:19:10Speaker 13: I wish that the Cape Pond Demon Hunters were performing
- 1:19:13Speaker 13: at our Young Music Festival.
- 1:19:14Speaker 9: I know, but that's the first song that came to
- 1:19:16Speaker 9: my head. If it's up, then it's up, then it's up.
- 1:19:19Speaker 13: A little different. I know, I know.
- 1:19:21Speaker 9: If it's up, then it's.
- 1:19:22Speaker 13: Up, then it's up.
- 1:19:23Speaker 4: You should have said, your word is bodak.
- 1:19:26Speaker 13: Bodak, y'all. Good, you know, really good job, Kyle. You
- 1:19:30Speaker 13: sang a song with the word up and And you
- 1:19:34Speaker 13: had a lot of energy, so you're tied up with
- 1:19:35Speaker 13: John Jay right there. Okay, Francisca, your word is beautiful.
- 1:19:43Speaker 15: Oh, man.
- 1:19:44Speaker 7: There's a lot of beautiful songs.
- 1:19:46Speaker 13: He's performing at our iHeartRadio Music Festival.
- 1:19:49Speaker 3: Okay.
- 1:19:55Speaker 4: James Blunt?
- 1:19:56Speaker 13: Anyone?
- 1:19:56Speaker 2: I don't think so.
- 1:19:57Speaker 1: I know.
- 1:19:57Speaker 9: I know what you're thinking.
- 1:19:59Speaker 2: Do you want us to help you?
- 1:19:59Speaker 13: I would love someone.
- 1:20:01Speaker 7: To chime in and help.
- 1:20:03Speaker 5: I'll help you.
- 1:20:04Speaker 4: Call me.
- 1:20:05Speaker 2: Call me. Phone a friend.
- 1:20:07Speaker 13: Okay, Rich.
- 1:20:08Speaker 18: I'm tapping in Rich.
- 1:20:09Speaker 2: These beautiful things that I've done.
- 1:20:12Speaker 13: Rich with the arms again.
- 1:20:15Speaker 9: Good job, Rich.
- 1:20:16Speaker 18: Okay, Benson Boone, yeah.
- 1:20:17Speaker 13: Yes, beautiful things, Benson Boone. Great job. Okay, we move
- 1:20:21Speaker 13: into round two. Now, keep in mind of the artists
- 1:20:24Speaker 13: that were just announced this morning for our iHeartRadio Music Festival.
- 1:20:27Speaker 13: I'll give you guys a little bit of a hint
- 1:20:28Speaker 13: going into round two. John Jay, your word is Midnight.
- 1:20:32Speaker 14: Midnight.
- 1:20:34Speaker 4: Midnight.
- 1:20:36Speaker 13: She's performing at her radio music festival.
- 1:20:39Speaker 25: Because midnight is the time. It's the time, midnight. Midnight
- 1:20:46Speaker 25: is the out-of-sight time to be, I don't know, freaking midnight.
- 1:20:50Speaker 13: You sound exactly like Zara Larson.
- 1:20:53Speaker 3: We ain't got to tell no one.
- 1:20:55Speaker 15: A never-ending midnight sight.
- 1:20:57Speaker 8: You were giving me never-ending.
- 1:21:00Speaker 4: I would have got that.
- 1:21:03Speaker 13: Good job, John Jay. You're walking away with this game
- 1:21:06Speaker 13: with three points. You struggled a little bit, but that
- 1:21:08Speaker 13: is okay.
- 1:21:09Speaker 4: It's all right.
- 1:21:10Speaker 13: Rich, your word or your number is 1979. Shake that 1979.
- 1:21:13Speaker 13: We don't even need it.
- 1:21:27Speaker 2: I said I just like them.
- 1:21:28Speaker 9: Good job.
- 1:21:30Speaker 13: Yeah, the Smashing Pumpkins are going to be at our
- 1:21:32Speaker 13: Radio Music Festival. Kyle, your word is Boston. On a
- 1:21:39Speaker 13: train back to Boston.
- 1:21:41Speaker 9: Yeah, we're not a mile away.
- 1:21:43Speaker 13: But now we're heading back to where you come from.
- 1:21:46Speaker 13: On a train back to Boston. And we're jumping up
- 1:21:50Speaker 13: and running. Good job, Kyle. Really, really good job. That's
- 1:21:54Speaker 13: Stella Lefty, Boston. All right, Francisca. Here is your clip,
- 1:21:59Speaker 13: or here is your word to take all the marbles
- 1:22:01Speaker 13: and win these tickets. Your word is goodies.
- 1:22:07Speaker 18: Oh, that's Ciara.
- 1:22:08Speaker 10: Yeah.
- 1:22:09Speaker 13: Can you sing it?
- 1:22:10Speaker 28: My goodies.
- 1:22:11Speaker 18: My goodies.
- 1:22:12Speaker 8: My goodies.
- 1:22:13Speaker 18: My goodies.
- 1:22:15Speaker 4: My goodies.
- 1:22:20Speaker 3: All right, you win.
- 1:22:21Speaker 4: We'll set you up for those 10-minute pilot tickets. Congratulations, Francesca. Francesca.
- 1:22:26Speaker 7: Awesome, thanks.
- 1:22:27Speaker 4: Hey, speaking of James Blunt, have you seen the latest
- 1:22:30Speaker 4: on this?
- 1:22:30Speaker 9: The Hayden Panettiere stuff?
- 1:22:32Speaker 8: Yeah, so the rumor was she did an interview and
- 1:22:36Speaker 8: she talked about some woman on a boat bringing her
- 1:22:39Speaker 8: into this famous rock star. Right, and there's pictures on
- 1:22:44Speaker 8: a yacht of James Blunt on a yacht with Hayden Panettiere.
- 1:22:49Speaker 8: And there's some entertainment reporter, if I heard this story right,
- 1:22:52Speaker 8: entertainment reporter did a deep dive into it. And it
- 1:22:55Speaker 8: turns out the pictures of James Blunt and Hayden Panettere
- 1:22:59Speaker 8: on this yacht, she was 19 at the time. And
- 1:23:02Speaker 8: when she tells the story, I think she was a
- 1:23:03Speaker 8: lot younger. So this person said James Blunt wasn't the
- 1:23:06Speaker 8: rock star. And then James Blunt commented on his post.
- 1:23:09Speaker 8: They're like googly eyes, you know, like, look at this.
- 1:23:13Speaker 8: And that's the story.
- 1:23:14Speaker 9: That's the story.
- 1:23:15Speaker 11: The reporter was basically like, James Blunt's not your guy
- 1:23:18Speaker 11: to start with if you're trying to figure out who
- 1:23:20Speaker 11: that person was.
- 1:23:21Speaker 8: Yeah, because they said old rock star and he's in
- 1:23:23Speaker 8: his 30s. So I was thinking older, older rock star.
- 1:23:25Speaker 4: I wonder who.
- 1:23:26Speaker 2: They did say British too, right?
- 1:23:28Speaker 9: Yeah, because Hayden never revealed who it was.
- 1:23:31Speaker 2: But she said British, like an older.
- 1:23:33Speaker 13: Did she say British?
- 1:23:34Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:23:34Speaker 4: I don't remember British parties. I remember old rock star. Anyway.
- 1:23:37Speaker 2: Because she says something like, and maybe this is just
- 1:23:39Speaker 2: the way they live their life.
- 1:23:41Speaker 4: That makes her British?
- 1:23:42Speaker 2: Well, she said British in that description. Kyle, let's come
- 1:23:45Speaker 2: up with three things you need to know.
- 1:23:46Speaker 11: So here in Arizona, we are about to lose a
- 1:23:49Speaker 11: pretty massive amount of our water from the Colorado River water.
- 1:23:53Speaker 11: But they're saying somehow that that's a good thing. I'll
- 1:23:55Speaker 11: explain how next with John Jane Rich.
- 1:24:01Speaker 10: Kyle, what are three things we need to know?
- 1:24:08Speaker 2: Oh, hold on.
- 1:24:09Speaker 9: My mic wasn't working for a second.
- 1:24:11Speaker 13: Okay.
- 1:24:12Speaker 9: Let's get into this.
- 1:24:13Speaker 11: So the Supreme Court actually just ruled there's going to
- 1:24:15Speaker 11: be some new checks on mail-in ballots.
- 1:24:18Speaker 9: Right before the head of the upcoming midterm.
- 1:24:21Speaker 11: So the Postal Service can now compare people getting mail-in
- 1:24:24Speaker 11: ballots with federal citizenship records, something that 23 states actually
- 1:24:28Speaker 11: tried to block because they say the federal government is
- 1:24:30Speaker 11: stepping into elections that states are supposed to run. Now,
- 1:24:34Speaker 11: this isn't the Supreme Court saying the whole policy is legal.
- 1:24:37Speaker 11: They're just basically saying it can happen for now while
- 1:24:40Speaker 11: the bigger fight plays out in court. As far as
- 1:24:43Speaker 11: us here in Arizona, we've been hearing a lot of
- 1:24:45Speaker 11: talk about water from the Colorado River, and we are
- 1:24:48Speaker 11: about to get a lot less of it here in Arizona.
- 1:24:50Speaker 11: Starting in 2027, Arizona, California, and Nevada, we have to
- 1:24:54Speaker 11: give up a combined 1.25.
- 1:24:57Speaker 9: Million acre feet of water every year for two years.
- 1:25:00Speaker 11: We are taking the biggest cut out of all of
- 1:25:02Speaker 11: those three states because Lake Mead and Lake Powell are
- 1:25:05Speaker 11: still way too low. Now, somehow they're saying this is
- 1:25:08Speaker 11: actually a good scenario because the federal government was actually
- 1:25:12Speaker 11: considering cuts more than twice this big. And if the
- 1:25:16Speaker 11: lakes keep dropping, we could eventually lose even more. So
- 1:25:18Speaker 11: they're saying it could have been worse. We're not going
- 1:25:20Speaker 11: to lose as much as they originally said we were
- 1:25:22Speaker 11: going to lose. But over the next decade, this could
- 1:25:25Speaker 11: be something we lose more and more of. So definitely
- 1:25:28Speaker 11: something to keep our eye on with the whole water situation.
- 1:25:32Speaker 11: I can't imagine this happening because it seems like it
- 1:25:34Speaker 11: was literally straight out of a movie. But imagine you
- 1:25:36Speaker 11: are driving an Uber and suddenly two cops jump in
- 1:25:39Speaker 11: your car and are like.
- 1:25:39Speaker 9: Go, go, go, look at that guy, get him.
- 1:25:42Speaker 11: This is exactly what happened to a driver in Houston
- 1:25:45Speaker 11: when police were chasing a suspect on foot. They flagged
- 1:25:48Speaker 11: down this Uber and basically turned him into their getaway car,
- 1:25:52Speaker 11: but in reverse. Like he was the cop car. He
- 1:25:55Speaker 11: drove around looking for the guy until finally they jumped
- 1:25:58Speaker 11: back out and continued the chase on foot. But I
- 1:26:01Speaker 11: just am like, the driver's reaction to the whole thing
- 1:26:03Speaker 11: was just like, what the heck is happening? Which is,
- 1:26:06Speaker 11: I think, the same reaction we would all have in
- 1:26:08Speaker 11: that situation.
- 1:26:10Speaker 9: He's okay. Everyone's okay. And I think they caught the guy.
- 1:26:14Speaker 4: I was going to play the clip this morning.
- 1:26:15Speaker 9: It's pretty incredible.
- 1:26:16Speaker 4: Yeah, this is the two cops in the Uber.
- 1:26:19Speaker 13: Hey, give me a ride over there, please.
- 1:26:20Speaker 1: Go.
- 1:26:21Speaker 6: Go that way.
- 1:26:22Speaker 15: That way.
- 1:26:22Speaker 7: Go, go.
- 1:26:23Speaker 13: Be careful.
- 1:26:23Speaker 1: Be careful.
- 1:26:24Speaker 16: Leleon, get in.
- 1:26:25Speaker 33: Got in my vehicle and ordered me to go chase
- 1:26:28Speaker 33: down the suspect, just running off of adrenaline.
- 1:26:31Speaker 4: I have cops ordering me to do things. I'm going
- 1:26:33Speaker 4: to comply.
- 1:26:34Speaker 5: Which way did he go?
- 1:26:35Speaker 15: Over here.
- 1:26:36Speaker 1: Go that way.
- 1:26:36Speaker 33: He was extremely fast. I didn't think they would be
- 1:26:38Speaker 33: able to catch him off foot. I didn't know what
- 1:26:41Speaker 33: my rights were at the moment. I'm glad I was
- 1:26:43Speaker 33: able to help.
- 1:26:44Speaker 4: They were unable to capture the fleeing suspect.
- 1:26:47Speaker 3: Wow.
- 1:26:47Speaker 2: Boy, they're fast.
- 1:26:49Speaker 9: He was really fast. The driver said it, and that's
- 1:26:51Speaker 9: three things you need to know.
