- 1:12SPEAKER_17: Backwards.
- 1:14SPEAKER_11: How about like so I say I mispronounce Wecum?

- 1:23SPEAKER_11: How about my Doug?
- 1:24SPEAKER_17: My Doug.
- 1:26SPEAKER_17: My Doug.
- 1:28SPEAKER_17: My Doug.
- 1:29SPEAKER_11: Um, I gotta read you uh text.
- 1:31SPEAKER_17: Alrighty.
- 1:34SPEAKER_17: Do I have to guess who it's from?
- 1:36SPEAKER_17: Um, no.
- 1:38SPEAKER_17: This is a not fun game.
- 1:40SPEAKER_11: No, you don't have to guess.
- 1:41SPEAKER_11: I mean you can.
- 1:42SPEAKER_11: Alright.
- 1:43SPEAKER_11: Um is it from Bouncing Bob?
- 1:45SPEAKER_11: No.
- 1:45SPEAKER_11: Is it from Jeff?
- 1:46SPEAKER_11: Yes.
- 1:47SPEAKER_17: Okay.
- 1:48SPEAKER_17: Wow.
- 1:49SPEAKER_17: Well, I was about the only two people that ever contacted.
- 1:52SPEAKER_11: Uh so I told you he's he's he's been catching up on the podcast.
- 1:56SPEAKER_11: Correct.
- 1:56SPEAKER_11: He's up to season five, episode 18.
- 1:58SPEAKER_17: All right, he's getting up there.
- 1:59SPEAKER_11: Yeah.
- 2:00SPEAKER_11: Uh the last episode hit me.
- 2:02SPEAKER_11: This was kind of cool.
- 2:04SPEAKER_11: You were talking about Sawyer Brown, The Walk.
- 2:06SPEAKER_11: Do you remember that song?
- 2:07SPEAKER_11: Yeah.
- 2:08SPEAKER_11: Uh that was the first song on my playlist that I heard after my dad passed.
- 2:12SPEAKER_15: Oh.
- 2:13SPEAKER_11: That song always hit me hard anyway.
- 2:15SPEAKER_11: Just for clarity, the last verse is him bringing his dad to a nursing home, I think.
- 2:19SPEAKER_11: Um for those for those that don't know that song, I think I have it in here.
- 2:25SPEAKER_11: Hold on a second here.
- 2:28SPEAKER_11: Because, I mean, that's a that's a pretty great song.
- 2:31SPEAKER_11: I'll just play a little bit of it.
- 2:41SPEAKER_03: Down our long dusty driveway.
- 2:45SPEAKER_03: Didn't wanna go.
- 2:47SPEAKER_11: But uh So the first verse is Him going to school.
- 2:50SPEAKER_11: Him going to school, getting on the bus.
- 2:52SPEAKER_11: Yeah.
- 2:52SPEAKER_11: And his dad walked him to the bus stop.
- 2:55SPEAKER_11: And the chorus is what you know, the country music does that a lot.
- 2:59SPEAKER_11: Where the chorus means something old country.
- 3:02SPEAKER_11: Yeah, old country.
- 3:03SPEAKER_11: That's true.
- 3:04SPEAKER_11: Yeah.
- 3:04SPEAKER_11: Yes.
- 3:05SPEAKER_17: It's not so much now.
- 3:06SPEAKER_17: Now it's either now it's more like a list.
- 3:09SPEAKER_17: I got my I got my boots on, we're drinking big, I'm drunk, I'm gonna go.
- 3:14SPEAKER_17: Yeah.
- 3:14SPEAKER_17: It's true.
- 3:15SPEAKER_17: They just they don't tell stories anymore.
- 3:16SPEAKER_11: Right.
- 3:17SPEAKER_11: So the chorus, I took this walk you're walking now.
- 3:20SPEAKER_11: I've been what going I've been through what you've been through, or something like that.
- 3:25SPEAKER_11: Dry eyes.
- 3:26SPEAKER_03: Uh-huh.
- 3:37SPEAKER_11: And that's that's the gist of the song right there.
- 3:40SPEAKER_11: I took the same walk with my old man, and he's right.
- 3:42SPEAKER_11: The last verse, I believe, is is him taking him to to the to a nursing home.
- 3:48SPEAKER_11: Or yeah, I mean, he's getting his his dad was getting older, obviously.
- 3:51SPEAKER_11: So and he said it was followed by Neil Diamond, which just proved that dad was with me.
- 3:57SPEAKER_11: Well, so that's kind of cool.
- 3:58SPEAKER_11: That is cool.
- 3:59SPEAKER_11: I'm I'm glad that we can, you know, I'm I I like I think it's cool that Jeff is listening to the podcast and trying to catch up on the podcasts.
- 4:07SPEAKER_11: I think it's it's kind of a neat thing.
- 4:09SPEAKER_11: Yeah, that's good.
- 4:10SPEAKER_11: You know, it's almost like he's because he and he said this at you know, because we used to hang out all the time.
- 4:15SPEAKER_17: Oh, yeah.
- 4:15SPEAKER_17: I mean, he was we were we were all inseparable.
- 4:18SPEAKER_11: And he's been in North Carolina for Twenty years.
- 4:22SPEAKER_11: At least twenty years.
- 4:23SPEAKER_17: Yeah, twenty, twenty-five years.
- 4:24SPEAKER_11: Yeah, at least twenty years.
- 4:25SPEAKER_11: And so he just feels like he's in the room with us when we when we do it.
- 4:28SPEAKER_17: So I feel bad because he hasn't he hasn't caught up to what you know when we started talking to him.
- 4:33SPEAKER_17: Right, that's true.
- 4:34SPEAKER_17: You know, we've we've been saying all this stuff about him, and he's not even there yet.
- 4:37SPEAKER_12: He's like a he's still like a hundred episodes away.
- 4:39SPEAKER_12: Yeah, I told him, I said, you should skip ahead.
- 4:41SPEAKER_12: He said, No, no, no, I gotta go in order.
- 4:44SPEAKER_12: Okay, man.
- 4:45SPEAKER_12: Okay.
- 4:47SPEAKER_11: So uh anyway.
- 4:48SPEAKER_17: So, future Jeff, when you get to this podcast, hey man, how's it going?
- 4:51SPEAKER_17: Hey, what's happening?
- 4:53SPEAKER_17: I'm glad you like the podcast.
- 4:55SPEAKER_12: That'll be a new segment.
- 4:56SPEAKER_12: Future Jeff segment.
- 5:00SPEAKER_12: Future Jeff.
- 5:02SPEAKER_12: We should we should do something like that.
- 5:03SPEAKER_12: We should do like like uh um Hey Jeff, when you get to this podcast, uh I I I had some chicken today.
- 5:13SPEAKER_11: It was good.
- 5:14SPEAKER_11: No, I mean like we should uh set him on a scavenger hunt or something.
- 5:20SPEAKER_17: Go to the library.
- 5:23SPEAKER_17: Look up the book.
- 5:24SPEAKER_17: Look up the book.
- 5:25SPEAKER_17: A hard day's right.
- 5:27SPEAKER_17: Call Call of the Wild.
- 5:29SPEAKER_17: Call the Wild.
- 5:30SPEAKER_17: Go to page 206.
- 5:34SPEAKER_17: Go down to the third sentence, go to the fourth word.
- 5:40SPEAKER_12: Divide it, divide and and text us what it is.
- 5:45SPEAKER_17: Text us what the word is.
- 5:49SPEAKER_12: Yeah.
- 5:49SPEAKER_12: Anyway, good to have Jeff on board.
- 5:51SPEAKER_12: Yeah, absolutely.
- 5:52SPEAKER_12: Um talk real quick about fantasy.
- 5:56SPEAKER_12: Football.
- 5:56SPEAKER_12: Yep, no more undefeated.
- 5:58SPEAKER_12: You all lost.
- 5:59SPEAKER_12: Yeah, we lost.
- 5:59SPEAKER_12: It was our first loss.
- 6:00SPEAKER_12: Bob was very excited.
- 6:02SPEAKER_12: He was a giant killer.
- 6:03SPEAKER_11: Boy, didn't he?
- 6:04SPEAKER_11: He trounced me too.
- 6:05SPEAKER_11: Yeah.
- 6:06SPEAKER_11: I mean, yeah, I don't know what was going on that week, but uh you know what's sad?
- 6:09SPEAKER_11: What?
- 6:10SPEAKER_11: I'm getting beat by Joko and he hasn't even frigging done anything.
- 6:13SPEAKER_11: I think Olivia got beat by him too.
- 6:14SPEAKER_13: I think that's frustrating.
- 6:16SPEAKER_11: Yeah, that is.
- 6:17SPEAKER_11: Yeah.
- 6:17SPEAKER_11: Um yeah, he uh I have well Derrick Henry got me like a couple of points.
- 6:24SPEAKER_11: Not sure what was going on there, but probably got hurt.
- 6:26SPEAKER_11: And Saquon Barkley, too.
- 6:27SPEAKER_11: Um they they didn't get me much, so anyway.
- 6:30SPEAKER_17: Yeah, that's that's the beauty of fantasy football.
- 6:32SPEAKER_17: It's just you never know what's gonna have a week to week.
- 6:34SPEAKER_11: We're still, I mean, we're still we're still up there, yeah obviously.
- 6:37SPEAKER_11: And uh you're the in the top four still.
- 6:39SPEAKER_11: Nope.
- 6:39SPEAKER_11: No yeah.
- 6:41SPEAKER_11: So I dropped a point.
- 6:42SPEAKER_11: So it's myself, Eli, John.
- 6:44SPEAKER_17: John, and uh Noah.
- 6:46SPEAKER_17: Noah's now five.
- 6:47SPEAKER_11: Oh, Noah is surpassed you.
- 6:49SPEAKER_11: Yeah.
- 6:50SPEAKER_11: Oh wow.
- 6:51SPEAKER_11: We're only in week seven.
- 6:53SPEAKER_17: Week seven, eight.
- 6:54SPEAKER_17: Yeah, we I mean we still got a long way to go.
- 6:56SPEAKER_11: Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 6:56SPEAKER_11: So anyway, um what else was I gonna say?
- 7:00SPEAKER_11: Oh.
- 7:01SPEAKER_11: So I gotta go down this this little rabbit hole because I think it's uh it's really cool.
- 7:06SPEAKER_11: And I I should be Is that your rabbit?
- 7:10SPEAKER_11: That's a rabbit.
- 7:12SPEAKER_11: I should be more excited than I am.
- 7:17SPEAKER_11: I I it's I'm pretty excited.
- 7:18SPEAKER_11: It's pretty I'm pretty pumped.
- 7:20SPEAKER_11: But not um I don't know.
- 7:24SPEAKER_11: Maybe it's because I've gotten older and I realize that celebrities or you know, people that are that are we look up to sometimes um are just people.
- 7:38SPEAKER_11: And you know, maybe I'm just kind of used to that now.
- 7:41SPEAKER_11: Here's let me let me re rewind.
- 7:45SPEAKER_11: So uh actually I probably should let me do this.
- 7:49SPEAKER_11: So my friend on Facebook Jude Cole.
- 7:59SPEAKER_11: Jude.
- 8:00SPEAKER_11: Um I would say fairly famous, wouldn't you?
- 8:05SPEAKER_11: What?
- 8:07SPEAKER_11: Um he had a run of success in the early 90s, well, late 80s, early 90s.
- 8:15SPEAKER_11: And into the 90s.
- 8:16SPEAKER_11: I mean, he had a a couple of big albums, big for him, really.
- 8:20SPEAKER_11: I don't think they were like number one albums, but they were great.
- 8:22SPEAKER_11: Yeah.
- 8:23SPEAKER_11: And I became a fast fan.
- 8:25SPEAKER_11: Just just really big fan.
- 8:28SPEAKER_11: And I we've told this story before.
- 8:32SPEAKER_11: Uh actually I don't want to go into that story, but I named my kid after him.
- 8:37SPEAKER_11: Um my wife says it's St.
- 8:40SPEAKER_11: Jude.
- 8:40SPEAKER_11: Okay.
- 8:41SPEAKER_11: Um, and hey Trace, what do you think about that?
- 8:45SPEAKER_17: Ha ha I know.
- 8:47SPEAKER_17: He's so dumb.
- 8:49SPEAKER_11: I am dumb.
- 8:50SPEAKER_11: She's she's just she she was talking about that earlier.
- 8:53SPEAKER_11: Well, yeah, we were dumb.
- 8:54SPEAKER_11: Men are dumb.
- 8:54SPEAKER_17: Men are dumb, basically.
- 8:56SPEAKER_17: It's true.
- 8:56SPEAKER_17: That's the name of the podcast.
- 8:57SPEAKER_17: Men are dumb.
- 8:57SPEAKER_11: Men are dumb.
- 8:58SPEAKER_17: Yep.
- 8:59SPEAKER_11: Um, and you know uh Hey Jude, right?
- 9:04SPEAKER_11: Um, and Hey Jude was written by Paul McCartney.
- 9:08SPEAKER_11: Come to find out, Jude Cole, my son Jude, and Paul McCartney all share a birthday.
- 9:13SPEAKER_11: Right.
- 9:13SPEAKER_11: Um, just very cool stuff.
- 9:15SPEAKER_11: Anyway, so synchronicity.
- 9:16SPEAKER_11: Yeah, I had reached out to him years ago on Facebook and and friend requested him, never thinking that he would accept my friend request.
- 9:23SPEAKER_11: Right.
- 9:24SPEAKER_11: And then over the years, you know, I have made comments on his posts and things like that, and and sometimes he'd like it, you know.
- 9:32SPEAKER_11: Okay.
- 9:33SPEAKER_11: Or I I have sent him messages just like nothing like stalkerish, just, you know.
- 9:40SPEAKER_11: I'm watching you.
- 9:41SPEAKER_11: Yeah, you're right.
- 9:42SPEAKER_11: So anyway, he's been nice curtains, Jude.
- 9:46SPEAKER_11: He's got a actually I should I should uh post that because he has what he's been doing lately is not really music.
- 9:55SPEAKER_11: Um he's got a blog.
- 9:57SPEAKER_11: That he has uh if you go to judecole.com.
- 10:01SPEAKER_11: People still blog?
- 10:03SPEAKER_11: Um actually I think it's is it judecole.com or is it hold on a second.
- 10:09SPEAKER_11: Um I don't want to lie to you.
- 10:16SPEAKER_11: Oh, he got uh he got affected by that t-shirt thing.
- 10:19SPEAKER_11: Look.
- 10:19SPEAKER_11: What t-shirt thing?
- 10:20SPEAKER_11: Remember the the Jokos got the the the hackers or whatever?
- 10:24SPEAKER_11: Yeah, that's right.
- 10:25SPEAKER_11: They're trying to sell t-shirts to everybody.
- 10:27SPEAKER_11: Uh animals versus humans, let's see.
- 10:31SPEAKER_11: Oh, I think it's in the first thing in the comments.
- 10:33SPEAKER_11: That's what yeah, okay.
- 10:34SPEAKER_11: Jude Cole.com slash Judeblog.
- 10:39SPEAKER_11: And he's been he's been just doing these really short um observations on society.
- 10:47SPEAKER_11: You know, and it's it's just kind of like him his rants, uh not necessarily rants, but his observations about things that we stupid humans are doing.
- 10:57SPEAKER_11: Um and it's actually quite entertaining to read because I agree with a lot of it.
- 11:02SPEAKER_11: So um anyway, so he posted this uh the other day, uh yesterday, pretty sure.
- 11:11SPEAKER_11: He's been he's been posting music uh lately, but it's old music.
- 11:17SPEAKER_11: Anyway, he found this.
- 11:18SPEAKER_11: He was going through some tapes, and he found this cover that he did of a Bob Dylan song.
- 11:23SPEAKER_11: So I'm just gonna play a little bit of that.
- 11:26unknown: Three.
- 11:30SPEAKER_08: I like saying that.
- 11:33SPEAKER_11: These are my favorite kind of things.
- 11:36SPEAKER_11: Like them in the studio, just by themselves, and just being real.
- 11:43SPEAKER_11: You know.
- 11:47SPEAKER_11: This is a Bob Dylan song.
- 11:49SPEAKER_07: With a willow don't be.
- 12:05SPEAKER_07: I'm going.
- 12:09SPEAKER_07: I'm gone.
- 12:11SPEAKER_11: So he had recorded this uh during uh the I Don't Know Why I Act This Way era, which is like 95, something like that.
- 12:24SPEAKER_11: Great album.
- 12:25SPEAKER_11: Uh but he didn't put it on the album because it was like trendy to put Bob Dylan's album.
- 12:31SPEAKER_17: Well, probably Bob Dylan would have suited him anyway.
- 12:33SPEAKER_11: Well, no, I don't think it would have suited him, but but everybody was doing it.
- 12:36SPEAKER_11: Right.
- 12:36SPEAKER_11: So he's like, I'm not gonna do that.
- 12:38SPEAKER_11: So he recorded it, but he didn't put it on the album.
- 12:44SPEAKER_11: And so I commented on it like I normally would.
- 12:51SPEAKER_11: I said because he recently he's been saying things like, you know, music is the farthest thing from my mind right now.
- 12:59SPEAKER_11: Because you know, we're just we're just stupid humans.
- 13:06SPEAKER_11: Uh what everything that we're is going on.
- 13:09SPEAKER_11: Um anyway, so I commented on this link and I said, I know you aren't in the music phase this day, these days, but I gotta say, I would buy an album full of this stuff from you.
- 13:23SPEAKER_11: It's so much more real than anything on the radio.
- 13:26SPEAKER_11: I know we always have your music to listen to, but I miss the anticipation of something new.
- 13:30SPEAKER_11: Loving your blog and your brain, laugh out loud.
- 13:34SPEAKER_11: So he commented.
- 13:36SPEAKER_11: He tagged me.
- 13:38SPEAKER_11: And this is what he said.
- 13:41SPEAKER_11: Brian Lozier.
- 13:42SPEAKER_11: Thanks, Brian.
- 13:44SPEAKER_11: I heard some wonderful things about your music recently.
- 13:48SPEAKER_11: Feel free to send me a link sometime.
- 13:53SPEAKER_11: Now, if I know Jude Cole, and I don't, he's a straight shooter.
- 14:00SPEAKER_11: Right.
- 14:02SPEAKER_11: Did he really hear some wonderful things about my music?
- 14:06SPEAKER_11: And if he did, how the hell did he do it?
- 14:08SPEAKER_11: Right.
- 14:09SPEAKER_11: Or is he just, okay, this guy's been on my friends list forever.
- 14:14SPEAKER_11: I'll throw him a bone.
- 14:16SPEAKER_11: Go ahead, send me some stuff.
- 14:20SPEAKER_11: Uh hear some wonderful things about your music.
- 14:23SPEAKER_11: Do you though?
- 14:25SPEAKER_11: Really?
- 14:27SPEAKER_11: I mean, how could he?
- 14:29SPEAKER_17: Nah, yeah, I seriously doubt it.
- 14:31SPEAKER_11: Yeah, me too.
- 14:31SPEAKER_17: Yeah.
- 14:32SPEAKER_11: Um, but it was nice of him to say.
- 14:34SPEAKER_17: Oh, sure.
- 14:35SPEAKER_17: If it was him.
- 14:36SPEAKER_11: Oh, it was him.
- 14:37SPEAKER_11: Because I sent him a message.
- 14:40SPEAKER_11: I said like a like a messenger message.
- 14:45SPEAKER_11: And I said.
- 14:49SPEAKER_11: And and I know this is him because this is the way he talks all the time.
- 14:51SPEAKER_11: Anyway, so I said, very nice comment about my music.
- 14:56SPEAKER_11: Honestly, I'm almost 52.
- 14:57SPEAKER_11: I've got my local projects, but other than that, I'm teaching music in my local school district.
- 15:01SPEAKER_11: My ultimate dream is just to write songs for a living.
- 15:03SPEAKER_11: Sadly, that dream has become ever more elusive in my reality and the age we live in.
- 15:07SPEAKER_11: That being said, if I was still starving for it, I would never abuse the privilege of having you as even a Facebook friend by sending my stuff.
- 15:16SPEAKER_11: I'll just keep the inspiration up by listening to your stuff.
- 15:20SPEAKER_11: Laugh out loud.
- 15:21SPEAKER_11: Peace, Jude.
- 15:22SPEAKER_11: So this is um Hold on, let me get that out.
- 15:26SPEAKER_11: So this is what he wrote back.
- 15:29SPEAKER_11: Yes, that's the reality we're all facing.
- 15:32SPEAKER_11: My living is spent mostly trying to get mileage out of tracks already finished.
- 15:36SPEAKER_11: The inspiration to do more is really just a personal best thing because it costs more than it makes.
- 15:41SPEAKER_11: And the outlets are like trying to get a license for a mom and pop inside a shopping mall.
- 15:47SPEAKER_11: Which I get.
- 15:48SPEAKER_11: Right.
- 15:49SPEAKER_11: You know.
- 15:50SPEAKER_11: But I thought it was cool, you know, that I just had a conversation with you cool.
- 15:55SPEAKER_11: Yeah.
- 15:56SPEAKER_11: Um and even if he was like pulling my leg, yank it yanking my chain, yeah.
- 16:03SPEAKER_11: It was nice of him to say say that and to to Yeah, he could have just blown you off completely.
- 16:08SPEAKER_11: He could have blown me off completely, and you know, I I'm sure he sees me as a stalker of some sort.
- 16:14SPEAKER_11: Um weird fan of which I'm really not, but I am a huge, huge fan of Jude Cole uh and his music.
- 16:23SPEAKER_11: Um if you're wondering, let me see here.
- 16:27SPEAKER_11: I was actually going to uh I was actually gonna purposely pick some Jude Cole um for the uh for the you know, climbing the wall today.
- 16:40SPEAKER_11: But this was his biggest hit, I believe.
- 16:45SPEAKER_11: It's called Baby It's Tonight.
- 16:55SPEAKER_05: Don't be only woman.
- 17:04SPEAKER_11: And this is the one you think sounds like John Waite.
- 17:09SPEAKER_11: Same album.
- 17:12SPEAKER_11: Yeah, it does, it does a little bit.
- 17:15SPEAKER_11: Uh and then he had that was in 1990.
- 17:18SPEAKER_11: Then he had this one.
- 17:19SPEAKER_11: Start the car, which is just awesome.
- 17:23SPEAKER_11: But he's got some other stuff that he's put out that that are like um, like he said, old stuff that he's repackaging and just kind of putting out there because it it's not up there.
- 17:36SPEAKER_11: So and he's not expecting to get a lot of money or attention for it, he's just putting it out.
- 17:41SPEAKER_11: So it's kind of cool.
- 17:42SPEAKER_11: Yeah, yeah.
- 17:42SPEAKER_11: So we'll we'll go back and revisit that.
- 17:44SPEAKER_11: But uh thank you, Jude Cole, for the kind words, and uh it's good talking to you.
- 17:50SPEAKER_17: Yeah, you should uh link the podcast to him, then he'll definitely stop talking.
- 17:56SPEAKER_13: Like on this guy.
- 17:59SPEAKER_17: I knew it.
- 18:00SPEAKER_17: I knew it.
- 18:00SPEAKER_17: He's a stalker.
- 18:01SPEAKER_17: He's a he's a loser in his basement with a some other loser in the basement.
- 18:06SPEAKER_11: We are in the basement, too.
- 18:07SPEAKER_17: I mean it's what I'm saying.
- 18:09SPEAKER_17: You know, I don't know.
- 18:09SPEAKER_17: Everything I said is just true.
- 18:12SPEAKER_11: All right, so that was uh that was my big uh brush with fame, if you will, uh, this weekend.
- 18:18SPEAKER_11: Uh or this this week, I should say.
- 18:20SPEAKER_11: This the end of this week is gonna be pretty cool.
- 18:24SPEAKER_11: Star City Syndicate is playing our school show, our annual school show.
- 18:27SPEAKER_11: Yeah! Uh in Holton, Maine this year.
- 18:31SPEAKER_11: Only one school.
- 18:32SPEAKER_11: Only one school, which is That's actually nice.
- 18:34SPEAKER_11: It is nice.
- 18:35SPEAKER_11: Because what we typically do, you're right.
- 18:37SPEAKER_11: What we typically and we we did it one time, uh was it Marzhill and Southern Roostic?
- 18:44SPEAKER_11: What one do we play when we played Southern Roostic?
- 18:47SPEAKER_11: We played Southern Roostic and South.
- 18:48SPEAKER_11: Marzell.
- 18:49SPEAKER_11: Was it Marseille?
- 18:50SPEAKER_10: Yeah.
- 18:50SPEAKER_11: Okay, which is not that far away, but it's still an It's a Hall.
- 18:55SPEAKER_17: Yeah.
- 18:56SPEAKER_11: Um so what we normally do is we go to the school and we play a show in the morning at one school and in the afternoon at another school.
- 19:03SPEAKER_11: Um and this year we're in one school, but the younger kids are gonna be in the morning and the high school kids are gonna be in the afternoon.
- 19:12SPEAKER_11: Yeah.
- 19:13SPEAKER_11: And we always talk about why we do this.
- 19:14SPEAKER_11: Why do we do this?
- 19:15SPEAKER_11: Why do we take the the the show on the road to uh to local schools?
- 19:19SPEAKER_11: Because we're bored.
- 19:20SPEAKER_11: Well, that's the big reason.
- 19:22SPEAKER_11: Because we like to play.
- 19:23SPEAKER_17: Yeah, we like to play.
- 19:24SPEAKER_17: No, but it's it's just to show that music doesn't stop at the end of high school.
- 19:29SPEAKER_11: Right.
- 19:30SPEAKER_17: Yeah, and you know, I mean, even if you play the trombone or saxophone, you can still get together with people and play it.
- 19:36SPEAKER_11: I love the way I love the way Joel.
- 19:39SPEAKER_11: Yeah, Joel, yeah, Joel does it very he's like, I used to play basketball in high school, and I also I also also was in the in the band and play guitar and things, and and he says, and I I'm in my fifties and it's hard to play basketball now.
- 19:54SPEAKER_18: Yeah.
- 19:54SPEAKER_11: But I can still play an instrument.
- 19:56SPEAKER_18: Exactly.
- 19:56SPEAKER_11: You know, and and still have fun doing that.
- 19:59SPEAKER_11: So that's kind of why we bring the show to the to the younger kids um and show them how much fun it can be and and that you know.
- 20:08SPEAKER_17: I wonder I wonder if it's actually working.
- 20:10SPEAKER_11: Yeah, I don't know.
- 20:13SPEAKER_11: We don't have to.
- 20:16SPEAKER_11: We're gonna go hear a band.
- 20:17SPEAKER_11: Awesome.
- 20:18SPEAKER_11: Yeah, yeah.
- 20:22SPEAKER_17: I'm like, yeah, you just not in class.
- 20:25SPEAKER_17: Exactly.
- 20:26SPEAKER_13: Yeah, you're you're yeah.
- 20:27SPEAKER_17: Okay.
- 20:27SPEAKER_11: Yeah, it's true.
- 20:28SPEAKER_11: But I'm looking forward to it.
- 20:29SPEAKER_11: I think it's gonna be fun.
- 20:30SPEAKER_17: Yeah, it'll be fun.
- 20:31SPEAKER_17: It's gonna be a fun day.
- 20:32SPEAKER_17: And uh they'll be all hopped up on sugar.
- 20:34SPEAKER_11: Probably.
- 20:35SPEAKER_17: Because it'll be the day after Halloween.
- 20:36SPEAKER_11: Do you know?
- 20:37SPEAKER_11: Uh I think that he must have given us the times.
- 20:40SPEAKER_11: Do you know how much time we have in between shows?
- 20:42SPEAKER_17: Like two or three hours.
- 20:44SPEAKER_11: We do have two or three hours in between shows?
- 20:46SPEAKER_11: Cool.
- 20:47SPEAKER_11: I might go to the iHop.
- 20:48SPEAKER_11: There's a new iHop in Holton.
- 20:49SPEAKER_11: Yeah.
- 20:50SPEAKER_11: We should all go.
- 20:50SPEAKER_11: Yeah, we should good.
- 20:51SPEAKER_11: Go get some pancakes or something.
- 20:53SPEAKER_12: Yeah.
- 20:53SPEAKER_12: Um big breakfast.
- 20:55SPEAKER_12: And then we'll be all logy for the next show.
- 20:57SPEAKER_17: So we went to IHOP.
- 21:01SPEAKER_12: Now we're all sick.
- 21:05SPEAKER_11: Yeah.
- 21:05SPEAKER_11: So uh we're looking forward to that.
- 21:07SPEAKER_11: That's gonna be cool.
- 21:07SPEAKER_11: And then we have the next thing we have, I think, is our fundraiser, but we're gonna do it like later later in the year in March uh this year.
- 21:15SPEAKER_17: Which will be good.
- 21:15SPEAKER_11: Yeah, I think so.
- 21:17SPEAKER_11: And then um do we have any dates?
- 21:19SPEAKER_11: We have dates scheduled for next year, at least a couple, right?
- 21:21SPEAKER_11: One, two, maybe?
- 21:22SPEAKER_17: Okay.
- 21:23SPEAKER_11: I thought we did.
- 21:25SPEAKER_17: I'm sure we do.
- 21:25SPEAKER_17: I just don't know.
- 21:26SPEAKER_11: Yeah, I thought we did.
- 21:27SPEAKER_17: I don't know.
- 21:29SPEAKER_11: Um, let's see.
- 21:32SPEAKER_11: Uh that wasn't really interesting.
- 21:33SPEAKER_11: I'm looking at ultimate classicrock.com for uh Yeah, I got my copy of uh Brothers.
- 21:38SPEAKER_11: Did you?
- 21:39SPEAKER_11: I was gonna ask you if it came in.
- 21:40SPEAKER_17: Yeah.
- 21:41SPEAKER_17: It's a coloring book.
- 21:43SPEAKER_17: What do you mean?
- 21:44SPEAKER_17: It's uh it's literally a coloring book.
- 21:46SPEAKER_17: Why do you say that?
- 21:47SPEAKER_17: No, I'm just kidding.
- 21:48SPEAKER_17: It's not a coloring book.
- 21:49SPEAKER_17: Well, it's because it's a drummer that wrote it.
- 21:51SPEAKER_11: So hold on.
- 21:52SPEAKER_11: I gotta No, it's it's very thin.
- 21:55SPEAKER_17: Yeah, it's only it's only like that big.
- 21:57SPEAKER_11: I've I've been listening to to several podcasts that are.
- 22:00SPEAKER_11: talking about it and and one guy s called into the podcast and he said uh or or actually no it was eddie trunk one guy called into eddie trunk and he said i i read it i got it today and i read it today he's like wait wait you you read the whole thing today he's like it's quick read dude yeah so only like two hundred pages yeah it's like only a couple hundred pages it's really it's it's not really in depth yeah it's just more like musings of Alex about you know about Eddie and a couple of things that bothered me that I've read I haven't I haven't read the book but I've read articles about the book.
- 22:33SPEAKER_11: Um he doesn't mention Mike he doesn't thank Mike Anthony or or I don't know if he doesn't mention Mike Anthony he doesn't mention Hagar Oh yeah I know there's a big thing there.
- 22:43SPEAKER_11: Yeah but also he doesn't mention my he mentions Gary Sharon but no Hagar and he doesn't thank Michael Anthony at all.
- 22:56SPEAKER_11: I don't even know if he mentions Michael Anthony.
- 22:57SPEAKER_11: He must mention he has to mention Michael Anthony at some point yeah but somebody somebody had written an article and it said that he he really did not um give Michael Anthony much attention in the book at all.
- 23:12SPEAKER_11: Well he was kind of maligned by both of them he was you know once the once everything went down he was maligned by both of them or or or they were maligned by him he was it was it was them against him basically they basically just you know he was persona non grata and because he went Alex no oh Mike Mike oh oh oh oh you're talking about the brothers yeah the brother I thought you meant like Sam and Mike Anthony I mean once he went out with Sammy Hagar they were like we're done with you.
- 23:46SPEAKER_11: Yeah you know like literally like when they got together in back together in 2004 for that whatever you call it reunion with Hagar for that tour uh when the best of both worlds came out the the the compilation um they made Mike Anthony sign all his rights away.
- 24:05SPEAKER_11: Yeah for and that's I mean that's kind of a jerk move.
- 24:08SPEAKER_17: And then when uh Diamond Dave came back, I mean it was Wolfgang on bass.
- 24:11SPEAKER_17: It wasn't even you know they didn't even come back so it was just like you know.
- 24:15SPEAKER_11: Yeah so it's just but still, you know if you're talking about the legacy well technically you're not talking about the legacy of Anne Halen.
- 24:22SPEAKER_11: You're t it's called brothers.
- 24:23SPEAKER_17: Yeah.
- 24:24SPEAKER_11: It's about him and Eddie.
- 24:25SPEAKER_11: Exactly.
- 24:25SPEAKER_11: You know so I guess from that perspective I can understand.
- 24:29SPEAKER_11: Yeah.
- 24:29SPEAKER_11: I I can understand it.
- 24:30SPEAKER_11: Because I mean they're you're talking about growing up together and starting the band and that may pt may not have had anything it didn't have anything to do with Sammy Hagar.
- 24:40SPEAKER_17: Yeah it only takes you a couple hours to read the book because I have it on Audible.
- 24:44SPEAKER_11: Yeah.
- 24:44SPEAKER_17: It's like two and a half hours.
- 24:46SPEAKER_11: Did you listen to it already?
- 24:47SPEAKER_11: No.
- 24:47SPEAKER_17: No I haven't got around to it I'm just I'cause I I'm reading another book.
- 24:50SPEAKER_11: Yeah.
- 24:51SPEAKER_17: So it's like you know I got six or seven books going on.
- 24:55SPEAKER_17: Yeah.
- 24:56SPEAKER_17: So it's like eh I'll get to it.
- 24:57SPEAKER_13: Yeah.
- 24:58SPEAKER_17: You know it's g it's not gonna be it's not that important of a read to me.
- 25:01SPEAKER_17: Yeah.
- 25:01SPEAKER_17: But I want to read it.
- 25:02SPEAKER_11: I I want to read it too um but I want to read a lot of books.
- 25:08SPEAKER_17: Yeah.
- 25:08SPEAKER_17: You know you just gotta read bits of you know you know read this book and then read that book and you know you just gotta go back and forth.
- 25:16SPEAKER_17: Yeah otherwise you're never gonna read anything.
- 25:17SPEAKER_11: Yeah.
- 25:18SPEAKER_17: So um that's the way I live my life.
- 25:20SPEAKER_11: Okay I do have that's a hint for you future Jeff I do have one new song um to uh kind of get a preview of Rick Springfield has shared a song called Lose Myself.
- 25:35SPEAKER_11: They're calling it his latest single it'll be included on a new greatest hits compilation in early 2025 um yet another greatest hits compilation but let's listen to that real quick um I I do love me some Rick Springfield so we'll see the other perfect time fully quite the whole thing it's it's good rock that core it's yeah no cool yeah I like it yeah I like it too um you had mentioned I think I I s I started talking about this um but went off in a different direction you had mentioned before we started recording um won't get fooled again by the Who the Who have announced a tour for next year.
- 27:29SPEAKER_11: Okay I don't know why not yeah I suppose why not I suppose and people will go of course they will yeah um I don't know they're gonna have drum for them but yeah I don't either who did they have drum last time because the their their last tour I didn't read the article but their last tour must have been Chad Smith to do it.
- 27:52SPEAKER_11: Oh that would be awesome uh their last tour I wonder if it says in the article uh who who played drums on on their last tour.
- 28:01SPEAKER_11: I bet you it does.
- 28:03SPEAKER_11: Uh but you know I don't know is is that didn't Roger Daltrey say that he's uh not feeling it um after years spent mostly apart Pete Ton uh Pete Townsend I guarantee he got his bank statement and he was like you know what I feel like playing music yeah but didn't they just sell the the rights to their music or did they?
- 28:24SPEAKER_11: I thought I thought they did and that's like millions and millions of dollars.
- 28:28SPEAKER_11: Pete Townsend said I met with Rob Roger for lunch a couple weeks ago we're in good form.
- 28:33SPEAKER_11: We love each other we're both getting a bit creaky but we will definitely do something next year.
- 28:38SPEAKER_11: Their most recent tour dates uh were back in 2023 uh augmented with strings I'm just looking to see if there is any mention of a drummer and it does not look like there is yeah so anyway some some who tour dates coming up next year I'm sure they'll be announced Well I know who we can ask revel relatively soon.
- 29:03SPEAKER_11: Who can we ask?
- 29:04SPEAKER_11: Google Well you're asking about tour dates?
- 29:08SPEAKER_11: Because nothing has been released I don't think oh you're gonna ask who played drums okay yeah that's a good idea because I I would kind of like to know that was the other thing I was going to talk about Oh Zach Starkey Ringo Star.
- 29:31SPEAKER_17: Oh Ringo's kid that's cool.
- 29:33SPEAKER_17: I think I read that somewhere actually Starkey's played the band since 1996 and is considered by some to be the best fit for the role since Keith Moon played in the 60s and wait a second Starkey's played with him since 96?
- 29:49SPEAKER_11: Oh it's got a actually got a list of uh the drummers for the Who Keith Moon Kenny Jones yeah I knew that uh Simon Phillips that's the only one they and then and then Zach and then Zach that's cool yeah that's cool um Ultimate Classic Rock has this article five classic rock songs and albums with uncredited guitar solos.
- 30:17SPEAKER_11: Some of this stuff surprised me some of this didn't surprise me because I knew it um you're wicked smash well no it's uh Eddie Van Halen's Beat It Oh wells on uh Eddie played on Michael Jackson's um big hit beat it because he he tried to well basically he was bored yeah pretty much he's like who's gonna know if I play on this kid's record yeah and Michael who I'll help him out exactly um so he is uncredited for that guitar solo on uh on Beat It um but some of these I didn't know Train kept it rolling did you know that the lead guitar is somebody else no I didn't either um so during the sessions for Aerosmith's sophomore album Get Your Wings Jack Douglas their producer called up veteran session guitarists Dick Hunter and Steve Wagner best known for their work with Alice Cooper to cut some additional leads most notably on Train Kept It Rolling it was Jack who had the difficult task of breaking the news to Joe Perry and Brad Whitford and that went down like a lead balloon of course and then Brad Whitford says at first you fight and you're a little bit angry and then you get sad because you're not you're really bummed you can't do it.
- 31:29SPEAKER_11: And the thing was that we'd done some good stuff and could play good stuff but the tracks required some real finesse.
- 31:34SPEAKER_11: So the big guitar solos on Train Kept it rolling are not even the guys in Aerosmith.
- 31:41SPEAKER_11: Well I'm not surprised because that was still their drug phase it was in their drug phase yeah so yeah but still that surprised me yeah it is a little surprising um and there's a couple more here well this one we knew the Beatles uh while my guitar gently weeps Clapton Eric Clapton uh but he's uncredited at first right um because the rest of the Beatles uh let's see uh George Harrison was frustrated with his bandmates apathy toward while my guitar gently weeps and he was consequently unhappy with the group's first attempt at recording the song seeking to shake things up Harrison invited Clapton who was in cream at the time he says no I'm not gonna do that nobody plays on Beatles Records look this is my song I want you to play on it so you're gonna play on it.
- 32:24SPEAKER_11: Yeah George Martin played on Beatles Records true well that's just true but Eric Clapton was like no no no no no yeah you know nobody plays on Beatles Records.
- 32:32SPEAKER_11: George Martin arguably was one of the Beatles he's basically the fifth Beatle right basically sorry Billy you know Billy Preston yeah so Billy was the sixth yeah he was sixth Beatle yeah and Eric was seventh right there you go and Eddie Murphy was eighth remember that skit no oh my freaking word you never remember he was Clarence he played saxophone for the Beatles where was that skit it was on that I don't remember that one oh you have to watch that freaking skit it is so freaking funny let's write that down at the end of the podcast so so I'm gonna write it right here Clarence uh Eddie Murphy Beatles we'll watch that she loves you was called she loves you man Clarence uh Beatles okay uh I'm gonna write that down maybe maybe that'll be a draw he plays he plays Beatles songs and there's a saxophone added to it and he's always he's he's just sitting there you know that was you know I don't think I've ever seen that it's hysterical it's him and uh Joe Piscopo Joe Piscopo is interviewing him on a Saturday Night Live was funny.
- 33:38SPEAKER_11: Exactly oh it's hysterical yeah yeah yeah yeah all right I'll we'll watch it he's got himself uh superimposed in Beatles pictures with a saxophone and he's got like a you know he looks like James Brown it's just that's so funny dude I can't believe you've never seen it never had oh my gosh it's funny I've seen a lot of SNL especially with Eddie Murphy but I've never seen that one that is awesome uh let's see Kisses Creatures of the Night uh was a transitional record in several ways Ace Freely is the last was last album that had Ace Freely as the guitar player yet he didn't play a note on the album I did not know that well actually no I think I did know that because they had Vinnie Vincent uh but also a blues guitar player Robin Ford really and Steve Ferris and if I'm not mistaken Steve Ferris was the guitar player for Mr.
- 34:24SPEAKER_11: Mister Was he?
- 34:25SPEAKER_11: Yeah and so those guys all contributed guitar to Creatures of the night uh because Ace Freely was uh not there.
- 34:35SPEAKER_11: Uh we already talked about Eddie this one surprised me Warrant Dirty rotten filthy stinking rich in 1989 they were competing with a murderer's row of whiz kid guitarists there was absolutely no room for error in the six string department so producer Bo Hill knew he'd have to call in the big guns for the album so he got he says he says we're we're we're in an era now where there's Eddie Van Halen and Warren D Martini so he said and this was in the book Nothing but a good time so you must you must have read this.
- 35:08SPEAKER_11: I haven't read this part yet they're sweet they're good rhythm guitar players but they can't play solos to save their lives this is what their producer told their manager I'm not surprised yeah and uh I'd like to consider somebody else to do it so he had ex streets guitarist ancestry musician Mike Slammer is it Slammer or Slamer S-L-A-M-E-R who continued to work with Ward after Dirty Rotten Filthy Stinkin' Rich was finished and so one of the guitar players uh let's see Joey Allen says I'm I'm like okay if I need to get my crap together here uh if I'm not good enough to play all these solos on this record I'm gonna learn from this guy he'd go over to the guy's house four or five days a week and sit down with him and say teach me man and we got a great relationship out of it so he had to learn all of the guitar stuff.
- 35:58SPEAKER_17: I'm not surprised because when you read this book there's a lot of that goes on because for 80s bands?
- 36:04SPEAKER_17: Yeah really because they they worked hard yeah and they and they brought in crowds but they couldn't play for crap.
- 36:12SPEAKER_17: You you read that over like crew and warrant and you know they just couldn't play that well.
- 36:19SPEAKER_11: Really poison yeah they weren't that good when they first started out right so when they would get in the studio they'd have to you know be like oh we gotta clean this up we gotta get the well I will tell you and you and you know from experience that playing live and playing in the studio are two commodities.
- 36:36SPEAKER_11: Two animals yeah like I get like when when we're in the studio remember we did our album back in twenty ten or whatever it was two oh nine?
- 36:42SPEAKER_11: Twenty ten.
- 36:44SPEAKER_11: Because that's when Finn was born.
- 36:45SPEAKER_11: That's right.
- 36:46SPEAKER_17: So we released it in the fall we recorded it in the the like January right yeah we recorded it in January yeah we were recording it uh when Finn got right was what got born when Finn Hey when Finn got born uh yeah we were recording it because we had to go do re you know redo redo some stuff and you couldn't go because Chris just had Finn.
- 37:09SPEAKER_11: Right.
- 37:09SPEAKER_11: So we you had to go later you were I remember so when you're in the studio and there's pressure to perform.
- 37:17SPEAKER_11: Yeah.
- 37:18SPEAKER_11: And y you don't get the best performances like that, you know, because you're you're overthinking things and it's just the the whole um thing about being in the studio I mean it's a different animal entirely.
- 37:30SPEAKER_11: When you're on stage it's like you know Yeah you just let it rip yeah you just let it rip.
- 37:33SPEAKER_17: Um because you're not but in your defense it was the last day of recording for us.
- 37:39SPEAKER_11: Yeah.
- 37:39SPEAKER_17: We've been you know going hard you know the whole weekend.
- 37:42SPEAKER_11: Yeah.
- 37:43SPEAKER_11: You know and those not not not partying hard.
- 37:45SPEAKER_11: No going hard recording.
- 37:47SPEAKER_17: Recording hard I mean we were there twelve fourteen sixteen hours a day yeah you know recording that album and uh you know that was the last day and we were trying to finish it up because it was really the last things we had to do was guitar soul.
- 37:59SPEAKER_17: So I remember you just sitting in the booth just playing solo after solo after solo after solo and Matt was just like yeah dude he's a friggin' monster you know just because you kept cranking out solos.
- 38:09SPEAKER_11: Yeah.
- 38:09SPEAKER_17: But you did like five, six seven ten takes of you know right because you want to get it right.
- 38:15SPEAKER_11: Yeah.
- 38:15SPEAKER_11: You know and but there is there is pressure there.
- 38:18SPEAKER_11: I mean it's a different thing entirely.
- 38:20SPEAKER_11: So I can understand you know um I can I guess I can understand that you wanting you wanting it to be the best that it can be so why not bring a guy that can do it and then you just learn it.
- 38:33SPEAKER_11: Right.
- 38:34SPEAKER_11: Um still I mean it's uh it is kind of weird to think about that half the half the the songs that you know from this band.
- 38:41SPEAKER_17: But I mean look I mean look at our favorite music most of it was done wasn't done by those people the wrecking crew.
- 38:47SPEAKER_11: True funk brothers that's true yeah you know what I mean?
- 38:49SPEAKER_11: Yep.
- 38:50SPEAKER_11: There was a rumor because we're such big Van Halen fans there was a rumor um that some of the guitar parts on Balance were Steve Lukuther.
- 39:04SPEAKER_11: Could be yeah could very well be I don't know actually they weren't they weren't getting along very well they weren't getting along very well on that album and Eddie was k you know going down the road that he was going down.
- 39:15SPEAKER_11: Yeah.
- 39:16SPEAKER_11: Starting to anyway so I can understand why they may have Steve Steve Steve and Eddie were are were good friends so Steve may have helped out a little bit did some rhythm work and I'm sure he didn't do any solo work.
- 39:30SPEAKER_17: No I'm sure he didn't do any solo work yeah but and that's an unconfirmed rumor too sure yeah uh all right let's uh let's do it's time to play mixte that's what I was gonna say that's all I was gonna say all right so past pu uh present and future past puke pass puke past puke past present I don't even remember what last week's question was or last week's uh the last one that we did was the wine one I still don't know what that means somebody's pouring the last glass on oh the last glass of wine and what did I pick oh I picked spill the wine yeah yeah okay so this is what our lovely and talented judge said are we ever am I ever gonna ever gonna get to know who she is I don't know like when we're done playing mixed date maybe maybe yeah she she likes being anonymous I'm sure she likes the fact that nobody knows who she is except me it is kind of cool yeah all right uh this is what she said awesome picks this week I enjoyed listening to all three and all three songs were very fitting does she listen she listens to the whole song probably oh yeah I'm sure she does just knowing how she is yeah uh but I instantly went with round midnight while I too am not much for having a drink the song just fits nicely for ending an evening it sets a nice calm ambience for ending an evening very peaceful and tranquil that's cool so yeah there we go the Miles Davis version obviously Miles Davis version all right all right so on to present this is the present Kevin Bacon yes I have I have a good one for this I'm sure you do I think it's a good one okay so this was the question what song would you play during a job interview to convince your employer Kevin Bacon to hire you so that's the question.
- 41:16SPEAKER_17: Okay all right so this is what cousin Larry said cousin Larry Cousin Larry Nope you're not cousin Larry you're cousin Larry okay I used to watch Kevin Bacon posts on Facebook where he would play cuts from his favorite album he definitely loves the classics I read Sgt Pepper was the first album he ever bought so I think I would sing with a little help from my friends.
- 41:45SPEAKER_11: I think Philly Thing by Bacon brothers might impress him as well but I'll stick with his childhood nostalgia and the Beatles a little help from my friends sorry about the typo above I must have started referencing Footloose so I uh I like how I like how Larry does this it always throws me because so what you don't know is happening when when Doug is reading Larry's uh pick I'm going on youtube to find the pick and Larry starts listing all these other songs so I'm trying to figure out which one it is which one isn't what you think can't go wrong with the Beatles and Kevin Bacon maybe no man so what's yours?
- 42:51SPEAKER_09: Well I wasn't gonna pick a Kevin Bacon song but it was just too juicy to that okay I chose TMI by the Bacon brothers just because I freaking love that song that's a great song although I have that hold on it's uh I had that pulled up actually um I almost picked that one to be honest with you I almost did uh right there she woke me up late last night just test up and don't feel right I think it would be best for me to get this off my chest to think way back in 82 around the time I first met you not attracted to those muscles for your side and it's won't small
- 44:12SPEAKER_12: Such a great song.
- 44:13SPEAKER_12: I love the song.
- 44:18SPEAKER_09: You just chose to say too much information.
- 44:21SPEAKER_11: If you don't have any Bacon brothers in your collection, you need to.
- 44:26SPEAKER_11: Oh yeah.
- 44:27SPEAKER_11: Because they're I mean they fly under the radar.
- 44:30SPEAKER_11: Well, sort of under the radar.
- 44:32SPEAKER_11: I mean, because Kevin Bacon is Kevin Bacon.
- 44:34SPEAKER_11: Um, but their music career is kind of like over here.
- 44:40SPEAKER_11: Right.
- 44:40SPEAKER_11: You know, I mean it's it's but they're they're awesome and they're great songwriters.
- 44:45SPEAKER_11: And their band is a is a jackpot band.
- 44:47SPEAKER_11: I mean it's it's good stuff.
- 44:49SPEAKER_11: Um so that's too much information from getting there from 1999.
- 44:53SPEAKER_11: So um mine, um there's a couple of stories behind.
- 45:00SPEAKER_11: So I picked.
- 45:03SPEAKER_11: Uh well, I'll play you uh a different version of the song first.
- 45:27SPEAKER_11: It's just the temptation.
- 45:30SPEAKER_11: And I'm talking about the song.
- 45:32SPEAKER_11: I'm I've picked the song.
- 45:48SPEAKER_11: Okay, so this was written by Smokey Robinson.
- 45:50SPEAKER_11: Right.
- 45:51SPEAKER_11: Okay.
- 45:52SPEAKER_11: And guess who did it?
- 45:54SPEAKER_11: Well, hold on a second.
- 45:55SPEAKER_11: Uh, and here's the reason I picked it.
- 45:57SPEAKER_11: There's a Kevin Bacon movie called Whitewater Summer.
- 46:01SPEAKER_11: And this is the opening credits.
- 46:08SPEAKER_09: Your part goes like this.
- 46:10SPEAKER_02: You can run, you can hide, you can run, you can hide, you can point to you.
- 46:15SPEAKER_02: Oh, wait, wait, wait, wait.
- 46:16SPEAKER_02: Wait till I point you.
- 46:17SPEAKER_09: Wait till that point to you.
- 46:18SPEAKER_09: Ready?
- 46:19SPEAKER_09: Now, if it's love that you're running from, there's no hiding place.
- 46:29SPEAKER_09: I know more those problems.
- 46:31SPEAKER_05: We just have to face you just put your hand in mind.
- 46:40SPEAKER_09: We all leave all our troubles we had.
- 46:44SPEAKER_09: Don't look back.
- 46:46unknown: Don't look back now with your football.
- 46:48SPEAKER_11: Okay, so uh great movie by the way.
- 46:50SPEAKER_11: Sean Aston is in that.
- 46:52SPEAKER_11: Uh and on that same album that TMI is on, come on baby, the Bacon brothers have covered it.
- 46:58SPEAKER_11: Yeah.
- 46:59SPEAKER_11: So obviously the the song means something to Kevin Bacon.
- 47:02SPEAKER_03: Right.
- 47:04SPEAKER_03: Come on, baby.
- 47:07SPEAKER_11: So I would win him over by playing this song.
- 47:10SPEAKER_17: Oh, I'm sure.
- 47:13SPEAKER_11: This is of course Michael Bacon, his brother, singing lead.
- 47:18SPEAKER_17: Sounds suspicious with like Jack.
- 47:20SPEAKER_07: He does.
- 47:28SPEAKER_09: But if you just put you in mind, we're gonna leave others behind the back.
- 47:41SPEAKER_11: I can't, I uh you can't stress enough, you need to get some bacon brothers.
- 47:45SPEAKER_11: It's good stuff, man.
- 47:46SPEAKER_11: Bacon brother.
- 47:47SPEAKER_11: So that is my choice, Don't Look Back, written by Smokey Robinson, recorded by the Temptations, and the Bacon Brothers.
- 47:54SPEAKER_11: Yeah.
- 47:54SPEAKER_11: So there you go.
- 47:55SPEAKER_11: There you go.
- 47:56SPEAKER_11: Uh, and so what is the future?
- 48:00SPEAKER_17: Question of mixed date.
- 48:04SPEAKER_17: You're excited for your first date with a new love interest.
- 48:08SPEAKER_17: After waiting nervously at the restaurant for some time, you realize your date has stood you up.
- 48:16SPEAKER_17: Did they take this for my life?
- 48:18SPEAKER_17: What song do you play on the way home?
- 48:21SPEAKER_11: Have you got stood up on the phone?
- 48:24SPEAKER_11: And what song do you play on the way home?
- 48:28SPEAKER_11: Yeah.
- 48:32SPEAKER_11: Um I just was I just realized I made a noise when you were reading that.
- 48:37SPEAKER_11: I went, hmm.
- 48:40SPEAKER_17: Well, yeah, because you didn't hear the whole question.
- 48:43SPEAKER_17: It's like when Cousin Larry is giving his answer and you're looking up one song and he's the other one.
- 48:48SPEAKER_11: Yeah.
- 48:48SPEAKER_11: Yeah.
- 48:48SPEAKER_11: Well, n not only did I make that noise because of that, but we were uh upstairs earlier today and the dark crystal came on.
- 48:56SPEAKER_11: Oh really?
- 48:57SPEAKER_11: Now my daughter, my youngest daughter, has never seen the dark crystal.
- 49:00SPEAKER_11: And um we had started watching it a a while a while back because it was being shown on TV and that time it came on and we So I look, I said, Look, Teresa, the dark crystal's on.
- 49:15SPEAKER_11: And she's like, oh, and both almost simultaneously, my wife and I went, hmm.
- 49:22SPEAKER_11: And my wa my daughter looks at us like, what?
- 49:25SPEAKER_11: And then as soon as we did that, they did it on the movie.
- 49:30SPEAKER_11: Freaked her right out.
- 49:32SPEAKER_17: I bet.
- 49:33SPEAKER_11: Yeah.
- 49:33SPEAKER_11: So that just that just reminded me of that.
- 49:36SPEAKER_11: You sent it to me, do you know that?
- 49:38unknown: Huh?
- 49:38SPEAKER_11: You sent me the photo.
- 49:40SPEAKER_11: You didn't send it to Did you send it to Larry too?
- 49:42SPEAKER_17: I thought I did.
- 49:43SPEAKER_11: You sent it to me.
- 49:44SPEAKER_11: I just got it from you.
- 49:46SPEAKER_17: Whoops.
- 49:48SPEAKER_12: My bad.
- 49:49SPEAKER_12: Alright.
- 49:51SPEAKER_12: Let me try that again.
- 49:52SPEAKER_12: That's okay.
- 49:53SPEAKER_12: Alright, so that's mixed tape for this week.
- 49:55SPEAKER_12: Can't find it anymore.
- 49:59SPEAKER_12: We're gonna take a break more.
- 50:00SPEAKER_11: And we'll come back, we'll read from a hard day's rights.
- 50:03SPEAKER_01: I don't know what's going on.
- 50:05SPEAKER_11: And I'm not going to lie to you, we are going to uh I'm gonna pick some June Cole.
- 50:09SPEAKER_11: Uh just because I want to.
- 50:11SPEAKER_17: Well, then it then that's easy for me, because then I don't have to think about it.
- 50:14SPEAKER_11: The Wall of Tunes.
- 50:16SPEAKER_11: Uh that's coming up next.
- 50:17SPEAKER_17: It's not really the Wall of Tunes anymore.
- 50:19SPEAKER_17: Well, it's on the Wall of Tunes.
- 50:20SPEAKER_17: I'm pulling it from the Wall of Tunes.
- 50:22SPEAKER_17: I don't have to guess, so it's like boring.
- 50:24SPEAKER_17: Known Wall of Tunes.
- 50:26SPEAKER_17: Right.
- 50:26SPEAKER_17: No wall of tunes.
- 50:28SPEAKER_17: No wallet of tunes.
- 50:30SPEAKER_17: No wall in tunes.
- 50:31SPEAKER_11: Yeah, that's what men are dumb.
- 50:35SPEAKER_17: Yeah, they are.

- 51:57SPEAKER_11: So he's at his girlfriend's house.
- 51:59SPEAKER_11: Which one?
- 52:00SPEAKER_11: Which girlfriend?
- 52:01SPEAKER_11: Which son?
- 52:02SPEAKER_11: Oh, Finn.
- 52:04SPEAKER_17: So he's with Hannah.
- 52:05SPEAKER_11: Yeah.
- 52:05SPEAKER_11: And so it's a s it's I do too.
- 52:09SPEAKER_11: Oh, she taught us something.
- 52:10SPEAKER_11: Uh uh, anyway, hold on.
- 52:12SPEAKER_11: So so it's a school night, so I told him he's gonna be home by nine.
- 52:15SPEAKER_13: Right.
- 52:16SPEAKER_13: We were at the store for a while.
- 52:17SPEAKER_13: Can it please be 9 30?
- 52:20SPEAKER_13: I was like, dude, you got homework.
- 52:22SPEAKER_11: What store?
- 52:23SPEAKER_11: I don't know.
- 52:24SPEAKER_11: Uh oh, well, they were at the dollar store for a while.
- 52:27SPEAKER_11: Oh, okay.
- 52:30SPEAKER_11: Homework.
- 52:32SPEAKER_11: I'm just gonna put that.
- 52:33SPEAKER_11: Homework.
- 52:35SPEAKER_11: So she taught us something.
- 52:37SPEAKER_11: Uh we've carved pumpkin Sunday night, and Hannah was with us.
- 52:40SPEAKER_17: Oh yeah, I saw the picture.
- 52:41SPEAKER_11: Okay, so so but she taught us.
- 52:43SPEAKER_11: I don't think I shared her video.
- 52:45SPEAKER_11: I think I sh I sent the video to Anna's mom because I thought it was so cool.
- 52:49SPEAKER_11: She does this trick.
- 52:52SPEAKER_11: Uh where and it's really cute to see her do it, and my daughter does it really well as well.
- 52:58SPEAKER_11: Um she holds her hand like this, and she says, girl, into her hand, and it sounds like the craziest thing.
- 53:10SPEAKER_11: And I'm not gonna do it any justice.
- 53:22SPEAKER_11: Sounds like I'm saying girl, doesn't it?
- 53:24SPEAKER_11: I'm not doing it right.
- 53:35SPEAKER_13: Do you hear it at all?
- 53:36SPEAKER_17: No, it just sounds like a middle-aged guy saying girl through his hand.
- 53:42SPEAKER_15: Now when you yeah, when you change your demand, claw claw crack, crack, claw, clack, crawl, crack.
- 53:52SPEAKER_11: Especially to see your Hannah do it, it's quite funny.
- 53:55SPEAKER_11: I bet.
- 53:55SPEAKER_11: Um and I I must have a recording of it somewhere, but I'll you know, I'm not gonna go through that.
- 54:00SPEAKER_11: Anyway, um I just wanted to put that in there because it was it was funny to me.
- 54:04SPEAKER_11: There you go.
- 54:05SPEAKER_11: Alright.
- 54:06SPEAKER_11: Uh it's funny stuff.
- 54:07SPEAKER_11: We're not gonna climb the wall, so I'm not gonna play the music.
- 54:09SPEAKER_11: Yeah.
- 54:10SPEAKER_11: Uh, but we are.
- 54:11SPEAKER_11: I'm still gonna read a book, though.
- 54:12SPEAKER_12: From Hard Days Right.
- 54:13SPEAKER_12: Because it's good to practice reading.
- 54:15SPEAKER_17: It is That's how you learn.
- 54:17SPEAKER_17: So tell us what song are we talking about?
- 54:19SPEAKER_17: Wow, it's funny you should say that.
- 54:20SPEAKER_17: Because it's Tell Me What You See.
- 54:23SPEAKER_17: Uh Tell Me What You See was another work song by Paul, who asks his girl to give her heart to him because he's utterly trustworthy and will brighten up her life.
- 54:36SPEAKER_17: If she doesn't believe him, he suggests that she take a look in his eyes and tell him what she sees.
- 54:44SPEAKER_11: That's it?
- 54:44SPEAKER_11: Oh no.
- 54:45SPEAKER_17: The track was recorded before filming of Help and offered to Dick Lester for the soundtrack, but was rejected.
- 54:51SPEAKER_17: Obviously, he was not too keen on what he heard.
- 54:54SPEAKER_17: Tim Riley, in his book about the Beatles music, notes that it is one of the album's weaker songs, suggesting that it became a working draft for the altogether stronger track, I'm Looking Through You.
- 55:08SPEAKER_11: I do like I'm Looking Through You.
- 55:10SPEAKER_11: Yeah, I do too.
- 55:12SPEAKER_11: Is that it?
- 55:12SPEAKER_11: That's it.
- 55:13SPEAKER_11: Alright, let's turn this up for a second.
- 55:16SPEAKER_04: If you put your trust in me.
- 55:19SPEAKER_11: But come on, the weaker song on a Beatles record is still better than any show.
- 55:26SPEAKER_11: Still better than anything on a Taylor Swift album.
- 55:28SPEAKER_04: Right.
- 55:30SPEAKER_04: Don't you realize now what you see is me.
- 55:37SPEAKER_04: Tell me what you see.
- 55:44SPEAKER_11: Wow, that was cool.
- 55:46SPEAKER_11: Hear that little ding?
- 55:47SPEAKER_11: Yeah, that wasn't in the song.
- 55:49SPEAKER_11: That was a text.
- 55:50SPEAKER_11: Oh right.
- 55:51SPEAKER_11: Yeah, it fit nicely.
- 55:53SPEAKER_11: Yeah, it did.
- 55:54SPEAKER_11: It was like perfect timing.
- 55:55SPEAKER_04: How can I get through?
- 55:57SPEAKER_11: He's like, I don't have a lot of homework.
- 56:05SPEAKER_04: Open up your eyes now.
- 56:09SPEAKER_04: Tell me what you see.
- 56:12SPEAKER_04: It is no surprise now.
- 56:16SPEAKER_04: What you see is me.
- 56:18SPEAKER_17: Alright.
- 56:20SPEAKER_17: So there you go.
- 56:21SPEAKER_17: I got a random text, and I thought it was him texting me to like convince you to let him stay out.
- 56:27SPEAKER_11: But it wasn't.
- 56:28SPEAKER_11: It wasn't.
- 56:29SPEAKER_11: Okay.
- 56:30SPEAKER_11: Uh alright, so there you go.
- 56:32SPEAKER_11: I'm gonna play some Jude Cole now.
- 56:33SPEAKER_11: Jude Cole?
- 56:34SPEAKER_11: In uh in uh recognition of my conversation with Jude Cole today.
- 56:41SPEAKER_17: Today.
- 56:42SPEAKER_11: Yeah, because he texted me this morning.
- 56:44SPEAKER_11: Uh I'm gonna play, he's gonna um he he's been putting out, like I told you, he's been um scouring the um cupboards, I guess, and finding the demos uh that he put together.
- 56:59SPEAKER_11: And have never been on an album, and he's put out three collections, like EPs, of just stuff.
- 57:10SPEAKER_11: Uh one is called In Plain Sight, one is called Coolerator, which is like uh covers that he did.
- 57:17SPEAKER_11: And this one was Coup Domain.
- 57:18SPEAKER_11: I'm only gonna play one song off this because this is my one of my favorite things Jude Cole has ever done.
- 57:23SPEAKER_11: I just love this song.
- 57:25SPEAKER_11: And it's called When You Being Lied To, and yes, it is about current affairs.
- 57:31SPEAKER_11: Um Do you remember if I've played this before?
- 57:39SPEAKER_11: You don't know.
- 57:40SPEAKER_17: I don't remember.
- 57:46SPEAKER_06: I've been digging for some answers, and I've been running from some shoes down the road.
- 58:01SPEAKER_05: I see a sunset, and still I haven't got a clue, but you know when you be alive, yeah, you know you don't have to try to want to believe what they tell you still you know when you'll be allowed to I mean come on.
- 58:40SPEAKER_11: That's just pure soul right there.
- 58:46SPEAKER_11: Um so that's one of his newer things that he's put out.
- 58:48SPEAKER_11: Actually, I don't know when it was recorded, uh, but it was it's more recent.
- 58:53SPEAKER_11: Um but I don't know that I've shared anything off his first album.
- 58:59SPEAKER_11: Um not uh View from Third Street.
- 59:01SPEAKER_11: A View from Third Street was his was his biggest, like his breakthrough album, which was technically his second album.
- 59:08SPEAKER_11: Um but he was uh you remember the song, the movie Back to School with Rodney Dangerfield?
- 59:12SPEAKER_17: Yeah.
- 59:13SPEAKER_11: Uh he was in that movie.
- 59:14SPEAKER_11: He was in the band.
- 59:15SPEAKER_17: Right.
- 59:16SPEAKER_11: Um and so this is kind of from that era, be like 87, 86, 87, 88, something like that.
- 59:24SPEAKER_11: This was his first album, so obviously it's gonna sound dated.
- 59:29SPEAKER_11: It's gonna sound very 80s, but come on.
- 59:38SPEAKER_11: Just the pop sensibilities, the melody.
- 59:46SPEAKER_05: No, you gotta write the woman.
- 1:01:11SPEAKER_17: Well, I was just gonna say this shouldn't be in like the Breakfast Club, right?
- 1:01:15SPEAKER_17: Something like that.
- 1:01:28SPEAKER_11: This song is called Like Lovers Do.
- 1:02:05SPEAKER_11: I'm only gonna play one or two more.
- 1:02:06SPEAKER_11: Maybe the whole album.
- 1:02:07SPEAKER_11: I don't know.
- 1:02:08SPEAKER_11: Just kidding.
- 1:02:11SPEAKER_11: So, yes, I think a lot of artists from this era, and I think he's like a lot of artists from this era who are proud of their songs, but the production value at least literally.
- 1:02:25SPEAKER_12: You can only do uh what you have.
- 1:02:27SPEAKER_12: Exactly.
- 1:02:28SPEAKER_12: Yeah, exactly.
- 1:02:29SPEAKER_05: Uh um that would be a cool project right there.
- 1:02:35SPEAKER_11: So obviously these songs could probably stand on their own, like if he sat down and played them on guitar or or whatever.
- 1:02:41SPEAKER_11: Like we record them as uh as like uh like let's let's be cool.
- 1:03:09SPEAKER_11: I think that'd be kind of a cool project.
- 1:03:12SPEAKER_11: This is a song called the Hurt.
- 1:03:15SPEAKER_11: Be the last one I do.
- 1:03:20SPEAKER_11: But can you imagine him sitting around with a couple acoustic guitars and doing this?
- 1:03:26SPEAKER_17: I uh get you know update it a little bit.
- 1:03:43SPEAKER_11: Of course, there's nothing in it for him, but like you said, but satisfaction.
- 1:03:48SPEAKER_11: You know, your personal best, that type of thing.
- 1:03:51SPEAKER_11: That's he's not gonna make any money.
- 1:04:21SPEAKER_11: I don't know.
- 1:04:22SPEAKER_11: I dig the guy.
- 1:04:23SPEAKER_11: I dig his music.
- 1:04:24SPEAKER_01: Dig him.
- 1:04:25SPEAKER_11: I dig him.
- 1:04:26SPEAKER_11: Um that's Jude Cole.
- 1:04:28SPEAKER_11: And that's from his first album, which I don't have an official date for, but 1987.
- 1:04:33SPEAKER_11: It was something like that.
- 1:04:35SPEAKER_11: Well, maybe we should look it up just because we're right here.
- 1:04:37SPEAKER_11: Let's just kind of wiki.
- 1:04:39SPEAKER_17: We have we have the interwebs.
- 1:04:42SPEAKER_17: We have the interwebs.
- 1:04:43SPEAKER_11: Let's wiki Jude Cole.
- 1:04:46SPEAKER_11: And we'll see when his first album came out.
- 1:04:48SPEAKER_17: Wiki, wiki, wiki.
- 1:04:50SPEAKER_11: Uh 87, dude, you were right.
- 1:04:55SPEAKER_11: Uh so he has technically uh Jude Cole 87, uh View from Third Street 1990, start the car in 1992.
- 1:05:03SPEAKER_11: I don't know why I act this way in 1995.
- 1:05:06SPEAKER_11: Falling Home, which he put out independently in 2000, Coup de Main, 2021.
- 1:05:13SPEAKER_11: Uh and then Coolerator, also 2021.
- 1:05:17SPEAKER_11: Um it was a big jump because after Falling Home, actually I think during Falling Home, and then that whole decade, he was the manager for Lifehouse.
- 1:05:26SPEAKER_17: Oh, that's right, yeah.
- 1:05:27SPEAKER_11: And wrote a wrote a lot of songs with uh with uh um that guy the lead singer Wade something Lifehouse guy um actually let's see, is he in here?
- 1:05:39SPEAKER_11: Uh um it doesn't really matter, I guess.
- 1:05:41SPEAKER_11: Uh and he started a record label and he's been producing and writing songs and stuff like that for other people, so uh with Keeper Sutherland, actually.
- 1:05:48SPEAKER_11: They're they're partners.
- 1:05:49SPEAKER_11: Yeah.
- 1:05:50SPEAKER_11: So uh anyway, Jude Cole, get you some Jude Cole, get you some Bacon Brothers.
- 1:05:53SPEAKER_11: Bacon Brothers, Jude Cole.
- 1:05:55SPEAKER_11: I suggest As always the Beatles.
- 1:05:57SPEAKER_11: As always the Beatles, you should have some Beatles.
- 1:05:59SPEAKER_11: If you don't have any Beatles, In your library.
- 1:06:01SPEAKER_17: Move to Germany.
- 1:06:07SPEAKER_12: Get out of America.
- 1:06:08SPEAKER_12: Wait.
- 1:06:08SPEAKER_12: If you don't have any Beatles in your library, you must be a man.
- 1:06:12SPEAKER_12: You must be stupid.
- 1:06:13SPEAKER_12: Because men are dumb.
- 1:06:14SPEAKER_17: Men are dumb.
- 1:06:16SPEAKER_17: Hey, Spa, I mentioned San Almo's Fire and stuff.
- 1:06:20SPEAKER_17: Did you know there's a documentary out there by Andrew McCarthy?
- 1:06:23SPEAKER_17: I did.
- 1:06:23SPEAKER_11: I haven't watched it.
- 1:06:24SPEAKER_17: It's really good.
- 1:06:25SPEAKER_17: You did watch it?
- 1:06:25SPEAKER_17: I did watch it, yeah.
- 1:06:26SPEAKER_17: It was really interesting.
- 1:06:28SPEAKER_11: There was a couple people that were not in it for uh for several reasons.
- 1:06:32SPEAKER_17: Yeah, I mean he he called like a bunch of them, but you know, like Molly Ringwald, he mentioned her, but he she wasn't in it.
- 1:06:38SPEAKER_11: Yeah.
- 1:06:38SPEAKER_17: Was Judge Nelson in it?
- 1:06:39SPEAKER_17: No, he wasn't but at the very end.
- 1:06:42SPEAKER_17: Because it goes through the whole movie, he's tight, he keeps talking about I'm trying to get hold of Judd and blah blah blah.
- 1:06:46SPEAKER_17: You know, at the very end, it's just like this long, like this big wide shot of like his lake house, and it's like a pier, and you can hear the phone ring.
- 1:06:54SPEAKER_17: Yeah.
- 1:06:54SPEAKER_17: And he goes, Hello, John! And then they end the movie.
- 1:06:59SPEAKER_12: That's so great.
- 1:07:00SPEAKER_12: That's cool.
- 1:07:00SPEAKER_17: But it was interesting because they were saying, you know, why did these movies mean so much to these people?
- 1:07:08SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 1:07:09SPEAKER_17: To our generation.
- 1:07:10SPEAKER_17: I mean, it was like and he had Leah Thompson on her, who wasn't a Brat Packer, but she was Brat Packer.
- 1:07:16SPEAKER_11: Yeah, she was in that era.
- 1:07:18SPEAKER_11: Yeah.
- 1:07:19SPEAKER_17: She said something very interesting.
- 1:07:21SPEAKER_17: She said it was we were the first generation to be able to own a movie on a videotape.
- 1:07:26SPEAKER_11: Oh, I never even thought of that.
- 1:07:28SPEAKER_17: I had never thought of that either.
- 1:07:29SPEAKER_17: I was like, because then, you know, because before you just go to the movie, you had to go to the movies over and over again.
- 1:07:34SPEAKER_11: And now you could watch it in the world.
- 1:07:35SPEAKER_17: Now you could just watch it over in in your house anytime you wanted to.
- 1:07:39SPEAKER_17: Yeah.
- 1:07:39SPEAKER_17: That's why we the and and that's why they resonated so much with our generation, like Breakfast Club, St.
- 1:07:45SPEAKER_17: Almo's Fire, you know, uh, you know, Pretty in Pink.
- 1:07:48SPEAKER_17: Yeah.
- 1:07:49SPEAKER_17: You know, that's why these movies stay with us, and we love these movies so much because it was the we were the first ones that could take a movie home and just enjoy it over and over and over and over and over and over again.
- 1:08:00SPEAKER_11: Yeah.
- 1:08:00SPEAKER_17: I thought that was interesting.
- 1:08:01SPEAKER_11: And I and I do own several of the I own all those movies, yeah.
- 1:08:04SPEAKER_17: So it was great, yeah.
- 1:08:05SPEAKER_17: So I thought that was interesting.
- 1:08:06SPEAKER_17: But it was a really good documentary.
- 1:08:08SPEAKER_11: Yeah, well, I'll have to finish it.
- 1:08:09SPEAKER_11: I'll have to watch it.
- 1:08:10SPEAKER_11: I did finish Nothing But a Good Time.
- 1:08:11SPEAKER_11: Oh, good.
- 1:08:12SPEAKER_11: I watched the I watched the full documentary.
- 1:08:14SPEAKER_11: That was that was pretty good.
- 1:08:14SPEAKER_11: Yeah, it was good.
- 1:08:15SPEAKER_17: Uh the book is way better, but the documentary was good.
- 1:08:19SPEAKER_11: Yeah.
- 1:08:20SPEAKER_11: So the Brat is it called the Bratt Pack?
- 1:08:22SPEAKER_11: It's called Bratz.
- 1:08:23SPEAKER_11: Bratz.
