- 2:34send you. In local news, Boston resident Brendan
- 2:40Libby, an 18 -year -old senior at Brookline High
- 2:43School, recently revealed how he playfully tricked
- 2:46Google Maps and the Massachusetts Bay Transportation
- 2:49Authority into renaming a bus stop after Rabbit
- 2:52Marinville, a quirky baseball player from the
- 2:55early 20th century. After submitting a joke correction,
- 3:00Livy was surprised to hear the automated MBTA
- 3:03announcement referencing Marinville Street, which
- 3:06was actually a fictitious name for a parking
- 3:08area in West Roxbury. Following media attention
- 3:12and Reddit posts, Google erased the name from
- 3:15its platform, but the bus stops still display
- 3:18it, leaving Libby amused by the oversight that
- 3:21allowed his prank to persist for two years. An
- 3:25MBTA spokesperson confirmed that Libby's account
- 3:28was plausible, noting that the agency occasionally
- 3:31uses Google Maps for updates, while Libby has
- 3:34also filed a complaint with Boston 311 regarding
- 3:38the missing street sign for the now -vanished
- 3:40Marinville Street. Now onto sports. Last night,
- 3:50Kansas City witnessed a significant clash as
- 3:53the Houston Texans defeated the Chiefs 20 to
- 3:5610, stifling Patrick Mahomes with three interceptions.
- 4:01The Texans, led by coach D 'Amico Ryanes, executed
- 4:04their game plan effectively, with CJ Stroud throwing
- 4:08for 203 yards and a touchdown. Nico Collins contributed
- 4:13four catches for 121 yards, while Darrow Gundiwell's
- 4:18touchdown run secured the victory. This win improved
- 4:22the Texans' record to eight wins and five losses,
- 4:26bolstering their playoff hopes, while the Chiefs
- 4:28dropped to six wins and seven losses, marking
- 4:31their worst start since 2012. And tonight, on
- 4:36Monday Night Football, the Chargers are set to
- 4:39face the Eagles. who have underperformed on defense
- 4:42this season, and their offense is struggling
- 4:44as well. Earlier in the year, this matchup seemed
- 4:48daunting, but now the reigning Super Bowl champions
- 4:52appear more like a house cat than a lion. Jalen
- 4:55Hurts is not throwing as effectively, and running
- 4:58back Saquon Barkley is on pace for far fewer
- 5:01than his 2 ,000 rushing yards from last year.
- 5:05Despite injuries, the Chargers have a chance
- 5:07to improve to 9 -4. but the Eagles will be a
- 5:11challenging opponent. In local sports, Derek
- 5:16White and the Celtics secured their fifth straight
- 5:18victory on Sunday, overcoming a determined Raptors
- 5:22team with a final score of 121 to 113. White's
- 5:27performance was instrumental, scoring 27 points
- 5:31and hitting key shots in the fourth quarter.
- 5:35Despite a challenging third quarter, the Celtics
- 5:38rallied with White and Payton Pritchard combining
- 5:40for five three -pointers in the final period.
- 5:44Jalen Brown added another 30 -point game, showcasing
- 5:47impressive shooting efficiency. The Celtics now
- 5:51stand third in the standings, with a record of
- 5:5315 wins and 9 losses, as they prepare for their
- 5:57next game against the Bucs on Thursday. In top
- 6:02news, Medical experts want caffeine drinkers

- 8:40back to the show. Let's talk science. Clues have
- 8:44emerged that reveal a much hotter history than
- 8:47we thought. The Paris Climate Accords in 2015
- 8:52set an ambitious goal of keeping global temperatures
- 8:55at 1 .5 degrees Celsius above pre -industrial
- 8:58levels. However, a study claims we may have surpassed
- 9:03that threshold several years ago. Researchers
- 9:06at the University Western Australia Oceans Institute
- 9:09analyzed long -lived Caribbean sclerosponges
- 9:13dating back to the 1700s. They concluded that
- 9:17we exceeded 1 .7 degrees Celsius in 2020. Malcolm
- 9:23McCulloch, the study's lead author, stated, times
- 9:26running out. Unfortunately, evidence suggests
- 9:30we are approaching that critical threshold. And
- 9:35in entertainment news, Paramount Plus has announced
- 9:39that Landman is its most important show following
- 9:43the departure of co -creator Taylor Sheridan
- 9:46to NBC Universal. With Billy Bob Thornton leading
- 9:51an all -star cast, Landman quickly became one
- 9:54of television's most popular series after its
- 9:57late 2024 release. The series has officially
- 10:00been renewed for Season 3, ensuring a continued
- 10:04exploration of the Nora story. Season 2's premiere
- 10:08set new viewership records, with over 9 .2 million
- 10:12streaming views in the first two days. Paramount's
- 10:16early renewal suggests that Landman may anchor
- 10:19the platform in a post -Sheridan era, promising
- 10:22a bright future for the series. Well, alrighty
