- 2:18Speaker 4: what do you hit with a hammer?
- 2:20Speaker 2: A nil? Good job? Next one, who is the fairy
- 2:25Speaker 2: in Peter Pan?
- 2:26Speaker 5: Thinker?
- 2:26Speaker 4: Bill? And last one for the wind Taylor, what do
- 2:30Speaker 4: you use to write on a blackboard?
- 2:33Speaker 5: On a blackboard?
- 2:35Speaker 2: Chalk? That's it?
- 2:46Speaker 4: Congratulations Taylor, you just won super easy trivia.
- 2:51Speaker 1: Hey, there's three things you need to know the Elema show.
- 2:56Speaker 4: Huntsville may have a passenger rail service to Birmingham. Last week,
- 3:00Speaker 4: the Huntsville City Council approved an initiative to study inner
- 3:04Speaker 4: city passenger rail between Huntsville and Birmingham. But they're also
- 3:09Speaker 4: going to look at routes to Atlanta, Nashville, and Chattanooga,
- 3:11Speaker 4: which would be awesome. So hopefully they make that happen
- 3:14Speaker 4: sooner than later. If you have ever wondered how much
- 3:18Speaker 4: time you spend in front of a screen per year,
- 3:21Speaker 4: it's two thousand and five hundred hours. New research says
- 3:25Speaker 4: people spend fifty hours a week in front of a screen,
- 3:27Speaker 4: which starts to wear on your eyes. So go ahead
- 3:30Speaker 4: and start getting a yearly eye exam. Also, if you're
- 3:33Speaker 4: taking a GLP one weight loss drug, get your eye doctor.
- 3:37Speaker 4: Go to your eye doctor before and after you start
- 3:39Speaker 4: because that can also affect your vision.
- 3:42Speaker 2: Did you ever see Casper?
- 3:43Speaker 3: I Did I love that?
- 3:45Speaker 1: Well?
- 3:45Speaker 4: Disney Plus just won the rights to a live action
- 3:47Speaker 4: Casper the Friendly Ghost series.
- 3:49Speaker 3: Now, ah okay, that's going to be kind of sick.
- 3:51Speaker 2: They were in a big bidding war over it.
- 3:54Speaker 4: The series is described as a modern update on the
- 3:57Speaker 4: classic ghost story.
- 3:59Speaker 2: We don't know yet.
- 4:00Speaker 4: If Christina Ritchie will be a part of the series
- 4:02Speaker 4: or not, but I hope so because she was in
- 4:04Speaker 4: Wednesday after playing the original Wednesday, so hopefully she'll She's
- 4:08Speaker 4: still acting, so hopefully we'll get her in it. That's
- 4:11Speaker 4: three things you need to know. More at the Alabama
- 4:14Speaker 4: Show dot com.
- 4:15Speaker 1: The Alabama Show on It's free on the iHeartRadio app.
- 4:19Speaker 4: I had the most extra thing happened to me yesterday
- 4:21Speaker 4: ever in the history of ever.
- 4:23Speaker 3: What extra thing did you have happened?
- 4:25Speaker 4: By the way, thank you for listening to The Alabama Show.
- 4:28Speaker 4: I'm Alabama with producer Blake Well. I went to my mailbox.
- 4:30Speaker 4: I brought something for you to read.
- 4:32Speaker 3: Okay.
- 4:33Speaker 4: I went to my mailbox to get my mail yesterday. Yeah,
- 4:37Speaker 4: and I got this packet.
- 4:39Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 4:40Speaker 4: I don't want you to say the name or the
- 4:42Speaker 4: phone number, but I want you to read it out
- 4:45Speaker 4: loud and your best annoyed neighbor voice.
- 4:47Speaker 6: Ever, this is your neighbor down the road on the
- 4:51Speaker 6: could a sec and I wanted to follow up again
- 4:53Speaker 6: about your peacocks coming into my yard. Unfortunately, it's still
- 4:57Speaker 6: happening regularly and I'm continuing to see damage to my yard. Also,
- 5:01Speaker 6: the noises that they make have also been ongoing and
- 5:05Speaker 6: disruptive at times. I've also seen them in my yard
- 5:08Speaker 6: making those loud noises right by my house, and it
- 5:11Speaker 6: seems to really peak from seven pm throughout the night.
- 5:14Speaker 6: I know that we've already talked about this before. I'm
- 5:16Speaker 6: hoping we can find more concrete solution to keep the
- 5:19Speaker 6: peacocks from damaging my property and prevent further issues. I'd
- 5:22Speaker 6: really appreciate you helping and addressing this soon. My number
- 5:26Speaker 6: is blank, and I would like to talk about this
- 5:28Speaker 6: more in depth.
- 5:29Speaker 3: If you are available, Thank you, Blank.
- 5:33Speaker 4: And then it's pictures of the peacocks and pictures of
- 5:36Speaker 4: the yard. Look at the pic the find a picture
- 5:40Speaker 4: of the yard. Tell me if that's they're not tearing
- 5:43Speaker 4: up the yard they're pecking. It's just spots where grass
- 5:46Speaker 4: won't grow.
- 5:47Speaker 3: That they're just enjoying their best life.
- 5:51Speaker 2: It's literally just where grass won't grow. That's all it is.
- 5:55Speaker 2: It's just grass won't grow. My peacocks aren't doing that.
- 6:00Speaker 3: Noy that you're that there. The peacocks did this. They
- 6:04Speaker 3: created a mound of dirt. Ain't no way they do,
- 6:07Speaker 3: That's what I'm saying.
- 6:08Speaker 4: So I don't know what to say because I don't
- 6:10Speaker 4: want to be read back like the peacocks are alloud,
- 6:13Speaker 4: but they're not making the dirt the grass not grow.
- 6:16Speaker 4: They're eating bugs. And the problem is their neighbor. The
- 6:20Speaker 4: rest of the neighborhood liked the peacocks, so they're all
- 6:23Speaker 4: throwing food in their yard. And that guy's neighbors is
- 6:27Speaker 4: throwing food in their yard. So the peacocks will come visit,
- 6:30Speaker 4: and they don't know the property lines.
- 6:33Speaker 2: What do I do? At first?
- 6:35Speaker 3: You need to go survey and see if their yards
- 6:38Speaker 3: look like this.
- 6:39Speaker 4: I've gone to all of my neighbor's yards and nobody
- 6:42Speaker 4: else's yards.
- 6:43Speaker 2: My yard doesn't look like that. Nobody does.
- 6:45Speaker 3: I literally don't think this could be the case of
- 6:48Speaker 3: a peacock.
- 6:48Speaker 4: I'm just not How do I keep the peace and
- 6:52Speaker 4: make them not follow lawsuit?
- 6:54Speaker 2: Because I chat GPT didn't chat. GPT said he could
- 6:58Speaker 2: follow lawsuit if he wants.
- 7:00Speaker 3: I think you this is a tough one.
- 7:02Speaker 6: And if you're asking lawyer Blake, I think you need
- 7:06Speaker 6: to go talk to your attorney.
- 7:08Speaker 3: I can't.
- 7:10Speaker 2: I can't even get it. It's n eighty season. They're
- 7:12Speaker 2: roaming the whole neighborhood.
- 7:13Speaker 3: How am I going to catch my peacocks?
- 7:15Speaker 2: Might have to build aviary?
- 7:17Speaker 4: Does somebody listen into the show know how to build carpenter?
- 7:20Speaker 2: Carpenter? Can you carp into me a birdhouse for ten
- 7:24Speaker 2: large peacocks?
- 7:25Speaker 3: There ain't no way.
- 7:30Speaker 2: Call the show. Eight three three five O one Bama
- 7:32Speaker 2: is the number.
- 7:33Speaker 4: But have you ever had an issue with your neighbor's pets?
- 7:35Speaker 4: And what do I do so that I don't look
- 7:37Speaker 4: like the jerk? Eight three three five oh one two two.

- 7:58Speaker 2: Pulmonary is lungs.
- 8:00Speaker 5: Yes, that's correct.
- 8:01Speaker 4: Okay, give us the best advice for how to keep
- 8:03Speaker 4: your lungs healthy.
- 8:05Speaker 5: No smoking and no bathing, no vathing.
- 8:08Speaker 2: It's good advice. H Okay, Vicky?
- 8:11Speaker 4: Have you ever had to complain to your neighbors about
- 8:13Speaker 4: their pets or have they ever had to complain to
- 8:15Speaker 4: you about your pets?
- 8:17Speaker 5: Not complained. I would love to complain about them, but
- 8:20Speaker 5: they recently moved.
- 8:22Speaker 2: What were their pets doing.
- 8:23Speaker 5: They're just bigger dogs and they just because we're like
- 8:26Speaker 5: really close. The houses are closed, so they we're a fence.
- 8:29Speaker 5: But my dogs are like Yorki poos and they have
- 8:32Speaker 5: like I'm not sure what the dog was called, but
- 8:34Speaker 5: he's big dogs.
- 8:34Speaker 2: Yeah, and it was going after Yorkie poos.
- 8:37Speaker 5: Yes, well, they're on each other fence, but they're up
- 8:40Speaker 5: and down the fence and they're just loud.
- 8:42Speaker 4: Oh yeah, girl, I get that. Also, I want to
- 8:45Speaker 4: know what a Yorkie poo looks like. Is it like
- 8:47Speaker 4: a little Yorky with curly hair?
- 8:49Speaker 2: Yes?
- 8:49Speaker 5: Mine is. He's brown black, and I have one she's
- 8:53Speaker 5: more Yorky, but Wind and Grace.
- 8:56Speaker 2: I love that.
- 8:57Speaker 4: Well, I'm glad that your neighbors moved and you don't
- 8:58Speaker 4: have to deal with that anymore.

- 11:47Speaker 3: by the way.
- 11:47Speaker 2: Thank you for listening to The Alabama Show. I'm Alabama
- 11:50Speaker 2: with producer Blake.
- 11:51Speaker 3: That's me.
- 11:52Speaker 2: You're taking vocal lessons. Yes, he started doing this how
- 11:55Speaker 2: long ago.
- 11:57Speaker 3: I'm probably done a month of lessons, like you know,
- 12:00Speaker 3: one week.
- 12:01Speaker 2: Because you're in a band and you like music.
- 12:04Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 12:04Speaker 4: So I was asking Producer Blake off the air yesterday.
- 12:07Speaker 4: I was like, tell me how that's going, because we
- 12:08Speaker 4: were trying to figure out like what we were going
- 12:11Speaker 4: to do on.
- 12:11Speaker 2: The show today. Yeah, and I said, how's vocal lessons going?
- 12:15Speaker 4: And he said, mah, y'all were supposed to do a performance,
- 12:19Speaker 4: but you're not going to be there for the class
- 12:21Speaker 4: performance of the vocal lesson.
- 12:23Speaker 3: There's a performance going on, yeah, and.
- 12:25Speaker 4: You were supposed to go to it, but you're not
- 12:27Speaker 4: going to it because you're going to be out of town,
- 12:29Speaker 4: so we're going to give you a chance to do
- 12:31Speaker 4: your performance.
- 12:32Speaker 2: Live on the show today. I said, you're going to
- 12:34Speaker 2: sing for us.
- 12:36Speaker 3: I'm gonna be honest with you. This is the first
- 12:38Speaker 3: time I've ever sang live, and you've done it.
- 12:40Speaker 2: You did karaoke.
- 12:41Speaker 4: You sang this exact song karaoke two weeks ago when
- 12:44Speaker 4: we were out at the bar.
- 12:45Speaker 3: That is a more I can hear it better.
- 12:48Speaker 6: This is a different situation because I hear myself as well.
- 12:51Speaker 3: It's a totally different world.
- 12:53Speaker 6: Oh my gosh, Okay, I have him singing it too,
- 12:55Speaker 6: so I can know the note.
- 12:57Speaker 2: I'm just gonna make you do it. You're supposed to
- 13:00Speaker 2: be queen off only eighteen.
- 13:04Speaker 3: She has some trouble with herself. She was always, oh no, I'm.
- 13:13Speaker 2: Keep galling long to some Here we go, we're gonna.
- 13:17Speaker 4: Have a.
- 13:20Speaker 2: Jove for a thousand thousand wound up at Jody, what
- 13:27Speaker 2: are you learning? And vocal lessons?
- 13:29Speaker 3: How to breathe correctly.
- 13:31Speaker 6: It's a bunch of like the it's a bunch of
- 13:35Speaker 6: the like the technique more than it is the What
- 13:39Speaker 6: inspired the sign up because I needed to be more
- 13:43Speaker 6: comfortable doing it.
- 13:44Speaker 4: We've been trying to get Producer Blake to do a
- 13:46Speaker 4: live performance for over a year and you won't do it.
- 13:50Speaker 2: So we got to get you out of here. We
- 13:51Speaker 2: gotta we gotta make you not be scared anymore.
- 13:54Speaker 3: That's what I'm trying to do.
- 13:55Speaker 6: So if I can learn the technique and actually do it,
- 13:58Speaker 6: you just gotta do it.
- 13:59Speaker 4: That's you know, the first time I ever talked on
- 14:01Speaker 4: the radio, I was so scared I threw up.
- 14:03Speaker 2: But you just force yourself through it. You man up
- 14:06Speaker 2: and you'd do it.
- 14:07Speaker 3: Well. I can tell you right now, get through it.
- 14:09Speaker 3: That was the first time saying live, no digging. Thanks,
- 14:14Speaker 3: But oh my gosh.
- 14:15Speaker 2: It's not as bad as you thought it was gonna be.
- 14:17Speaker 3: I was still pretty bad.
- 14:19Speaker 2: Call the show.
- 14:19Speaker 4: What's something that you've always wanted to do but you've
- 14:22Speaker 4: been too scared to do?
- 14:23Speaker 2: Let's give Producer Blake a little bit of inspiration. Eight
- 14:26Speaker 2: three three five IYM Bama is the number. That's eight
- 14:29Speaker 2: three three five oh one two.
- 14:30Speaker 1: Two six two The Alabama Show on Demands Free on
- 14:34Speaker 1: the iHeartRadio app.
- 14:35Speaker 4: We were talking about how Producer Blake was terrified to
- 14:39Speaker 4: take vocal lessons and sing in public, and we just
- 14:41Speaker 4: made him sing on the radio for the first time.
- 14:43Speaker 6: Yes, that is correct, the first time anyone's ever heard me,
- 14:45Speaker 6: not recorded.
- 14:47Speaker 4: If you've ever tried to pursue your dreams and you
- 14:49Speaker 4: were afraid, I want you to call the show.
- 14:51Speaker 2: Eight three three five. Oym Bama is the number. Andrew.
- 14:54Speaker 4: You're trying to do something and your family's given you
- 14:56Speaker 4: a hard time about it.
- 14:57Speaker 7: I cannot sind it. I went and filmed the movie
- 15:00Speaker 7: last night for Netflix in Atlanta, and I've got nothing
- 15:03Speaker 7: but the hateful messages all morning. This is tell me
- 15:07Speaker 7: why I don't need to be in movies.
- 15:08Speaker 4: How hard was it for you to start trying acting
- 15:11Speaker 4: because you took acting classes, didn't you?
- 15:13Speaker 5: It was?
- 15:14Speaker 7: It was amazing. The first time I ever did it,
- 15:17Speaker 7: I got in Debute Reynolds Acting Academy and I found
- 15:20Speaker 7: nothing but amazing people in that group, and they've inspired
- 15:23Speaker 7: me to do better on my life. And I'm doing amazing.
- 15:26Speaker 7: I've been in three movies in a year.
- 15:28Speaker 4: Don't listen to your family. Usually the people that are
- 15:32Speaker 4: haters are just jealous.
- 15:33Speaker 7: I say, don't take advice from people who can't feel
- 15:36Speaker 7: the shoes you're trying to wear.
