  Hello, everyone, and welcome to Have Faith, Let It Begin. This is another amazing

  milestone that we're about to hit.

  Angel Santana here. Today, we arrive at the final chapter of our 10-part devotional journey.

  Slow down, finding God in the world that never stops.

  Over the past several days, well, two weeks to be exact, we've talked about
• 1:09
  slowing down to notice God's miracles, choosing kindness,
• 1:14
  trusting God's timing, showing up for others, putting our phones down,
• 1:20
  seeing interruptions as opportunities, listening with intention,
• 1:25
  choosing peace, and loving the person right in front of us.
• 1:29
  Every one of those lessons has been leading us here because the greatest reason
• 1:35
  to slow down isn't simply to find peace.
• 1:38
  It's to see Jesus more clearly. So let's slow down and open God's word together
• 1:45
  as we conclude this chapter, this series.

  Our biblical perspective, our
• 1:50
  primary scripture comes from Hebrews chapter 12, verses one through two.
• 1:55
  Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses,
• 1:59
  let us throw off everything that hinders and let us run with perseverance.

  The race marked out for us, fixing our eyes on Jesus, the pioneer and the perfect,
• 2:11
  of faith, the perfecter of faith.

  The word of the Lord. Thanks be to God. The writer of Hebrews reminds us that
• 2:18
  life is a journey, but focus, our focus, isn't the finish line.

  Our focus is Jesus. Our supporting scripture comes from Luke,
• 2:28
  chapter 10, verses 38 through 42.

  Mary sat at the feet of Jesus. Martha stayed busy.
• 2:35
  Jesus didn't criticize Martha for serving. He lovingly reminded her that she
• 2:40
  had become distracted by many things.
• 2:43
  Mary chose what mattered most. She chose his presence.
• 2:47
  That, that's what the entire series has been about.
• 2:51
  Not doing less, but making sure Jesus remains first.
• 2:57
  Life will always be busy. We know that.

  There will always be another meeting, another notification, another responsibility, another deadline.
• 3:07
  If we wait for the life to slow down before we spend time with Jesus,
• 3:13
  we'll spend our entire lives waiting.

  Jesus isn't asking us to escape the world. He's inviting us That's right Inviting
• 3:21
  us to walk with him through it.
• 3:23
  Imagine looking back over the life Years from now Your life You probably won't
• 3:29
  remember every email Every appointment Every errand But you'll remember the
• 3:35
  moments you experienced God's presence.
• 3:37
  The prayers he answered, the people he used to encourage you,
• 3:42
  the moment, well, the quiet mornings in his word, the peace that didn't make
• 3:47
  sense, the grace that carried you, that's what lasts.
• 3:53
  Throughout the Gospels, people slowed down when they encountered Jesus.
• 3:58
  Blind Bartimaeus stopped shouting after Jesus called him. Zacchaeus climbed down from the tree.

  Mary sat at his feet. The disciples left their nets.
• 4:09
  Each one discovered that life truly begins when Jesus becomes the center.

  Perhaps today, Jesus is inviting you to do the same. Not tomorrow, not next week, today.

  Slow down, look up, and fix your eyes on him. Here's your heart check.

  Let's pause one more time together. Our last time in this series.

  What's been distracting you from Jesus?

  Have you allowed your schedule, your worries, or your ambitions to become louder than God's voice?

  If Jesus were sitting across from you right now, what would you want to tell them?

  And what might He lovingly be saying to you?

  Here's your final faith challenge. Set aside 30 uninterrupted minutes for this week.

  No phone, no television, no distractions.

  Take your Bible. Find a quiet place. Read one gospel passage slowly.

  Pray honestly. Listen quietly. Don't rush.

  Simply spend time with Jesus because that's where life is transformed.

  Today's takeaway. The greatest gift you can give yourself isn't more time.

  It's more time with Jesus.

  As we close the series, remember, Jesus was never in a hurry.

  Yet he fulfilled everything his father called him to do.

  He walked with purpose. He loved intentionally. He listened carefully.

  He stopped for people. He trusted the Father's timing.

  May we do the same. If this series has helped you slow down,

  even just a little, then my prayer is that it has helped you see Jesus more clearly.

  And that's the greatest blessing of all.

  Let's pray. Heavenly Father, thank you for walking with us through this journey.

  Thank you for every lesson, every reminder, and every opportunity to slow down and draw closer to you.

  Help us keep our eyes fixed on Jesus in a world that consistently competes for our attention.

  Teach us to walk his pace, love his heart, and trust your perfect timing.

  May our lives reflect the peace, the grace, and compassion of Christ every day.

  And as this series comes to a close, let us not be the end of our journey,

  but the beginning of a deeper walk with you.
