The Stamford Board of Education approved the budget without making any changes. The $360-million-dollar budget includes a reduction of just under 60 full-time equivalent teaching positions and 12 paraeducators. It sounds drastic, but is it really? We asked John Corcoran, president of the Stamford Education Association.
