WE WERE BOUGHT WITH A PRICE
The theme for our meditation today on this 23rd Sunday in ordinary time is: We Were Bought With a Price. The title of our reflection is taken from the verse of Saint Paul's first letter to the Corinthians (6, 19b, 20). The One who wants to buy us is God, who has all the power to do it. We are not strong enough to evade His power. With faith we accept it with all our obedience.
