- 0:00[SPEAKER_00]: The liberal globalist order is on its brink and awakening a new conservative age.
- 0:06[SPEAKER_00]: Dr. Steve Turley, join me every day as we discover answers to today's toughest challenges and explore the re-bondalization of conservative civilization.
- 0:18[SPEAKER_00]: This is Turley Talks.
- 0:21[SPEAKER_00]: Just when you thought the woke left couldn't possibly get any more ridiculous, this story is for the ages.
- 0:29[SPEAKER_00]: A small lesbian bar in Massachusetts has been mandating masks since it opened last year.
- 0:37[SPEAKER_00]: You heard that right.
- 0:39[SPEAKER_00]: They opened in 2025, but they still thought we were living in 2021.
- 0:43[SPEAKER_00]: Everyone was required to wear a mask while inside.
- 0:47[SPEAKER_00]: The venue, surprise, surprise, started losing money.
- 0:52[SPEAKER_00]: The business was collapsing and so they decided to make Saturday's mask optional and that.
- 1:00[SPEAKER_00]: is when the meltdown exploded.
- 1:03[SPEAKER_00]: I kid you not a full-blown, woke, civil war erupted in the story that keeps getting crazier and crazier by the day.
- 1:12[SPEAKER_00]: You are not going to believe what happened next.
- 1:16[SPEAKER_00]: Hey, gang, it's me, Dr. Steve, or a Patriot professor here to help you make sense of the madness with breaking news and analysis.
- 1:23[SPEAKER_00]: You're not going to get anywhere else.
- 1:24[SPEAKER_00]: You know what to do.
- 1:25[SPEAKER_00]: Make sure to smack that bell and subscribe button.
- 1:28[SPEAKER_00]: Our story begins in Greenfield, Massachusetts, at a base of an establishment called The Last Ditch Bar.
- 1:36[SPEAKER_00]: an arts venue, a name that turned out to be far more prophetic than anyone could have imagined.
- 1:42[SPEAKER_00]: The bar opened last year as a gathering place for in its own words, dikes, this is quote, dikes, transexuals, gender freaks, workers, and their friends.
- 1:54[SPEAKER_00]: And it was run by three housemates in their 20s.
- 1:58[SPEAKER_00]: who wanted to create the ultimate woke community space, nobody would be denied entry because they couldn't afford to cover charge.
- 2:06[SPEAKER_00]: Poor and homeless patrons were always welcome and everyone was required to wear a KN-95 mask or better while inside.
- 2:15[SPEAKER_00]: Now,
- 2:16[SPEAKER_00]: customers were expected to keep those masks on unless they were actively taking a bite of food or sipping their drink, which as you can imagine is not exactly the most practical business model for a bar.
- 2:32[SPEAKER_00]: bars generally involve unobstructed mouths but alas this is wokeness and wokeness as we'd like to say on this channel is that perpetual war with reality and so practicality was never really the point here this was a business organized around radical inclusion unless you don't have a mask ideological purity and the impossible promise that nobody nobody would ever feel uncomfortable
- 3:03[SPEAKER_00]: The one simple problem with all of that, of course, is a little thing commonly called reality, particularly the reality of the marketplace.
- 3:12[SPEAKER_00]: It showed up because no matter how many slogans you paint on the walls, rents still have to be paid, employees don't need money, and a bar without paying customers is not a community, it's a bankruptcy proceeding.
- 3:28[SPEAKER_00]: Foot traffic began to slow, customers increasingly arrived without the cover charge, and the owners and staff reportedly stopped getting paid.
- 3:37[SPEAKER_00]: Of the original three co-founders, two step-to-way from daily operations, including one, I kid you not, I am not making this up, including one that's actually being reported
- 3:57[SPEAKER_00]: I know you can't make it up.
- 3:58[SPEAKER_00]: That left 26 year old Jackie Matelian responsible for $50,000 start up loan while working four jobs and spending six months living in a truck.
- 4:11[SPEAKER_00]: So, this is a young woman who would sacrifice her credit, her income, her living arrangements to keep this place open only to discover the one lesson woke active is never seemed to learn.
- 4:22[SPEAKER_00]: Good intentions do not suspend the laws of economic.
- 4:27[SPEAKER_00]: After consulting the Massachusetts LGBT Chamber of Commerce, yes, there is such a thing.
- 4:35[SPEAKER_00]: The bars management came up with what most reasonable people would consider rather modest compromise, masks would remain mandatory six nights a week, but on Saturday nights, customers could decide for themselves whether they wanted to wear one.
- 4:52[SPEAKER_00]: So just weeks ago, in August 31st, the bar announced the change in a cheerful Instagram post, telling its quote, Immune compromised disabled divas, that Saturdays would become mask optional, so the venue could try more conventional club nights with DJs and themes and larger crowds.
- 5:14[SPEAKER_00]: Now, keep in mind, the masks were optional.
- 5:18[SPEAKER_00]: for just one night a week, that's it.
- 5:24[SPEAKER_00]: But when your entire world views built around victimhood, purity, and the relentless search for oppression, there can be no compromise.
- 5:35[SPEAKER_00]: There can only be heretics, traders, and enemies.
- 5:38[SPEAKER_00]: And so once the announcement was made, literally all hell broke loose.
- 5:45[SPEAKER_00]: hundreds of furious comments poured in accusing the bar betraying the disabled and pandering to capitalism and white supremacy and promoting I kid you not eugenics and participating in what one critic called a mass disabling event one person reportedly wish that the venue would be fire bombed while another declared that allowing
- 6:15[SPEAKER_00]: then fascists.
- 6:17[SPEAKER_00]: Yes, the F word.
- 6:19[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, you obviously can't make this stuff up.
- 6:21[SPEAKER_00]: And so the bar quickly issued an apology.
- 6:24[SPEAKER_00]: We're so sorry.
- 6:25[SPEAKER_00]: We're so sorry for what it called the passive and dismissive tone of the announcement.
- 6:31[SPEAKER_00]: But guess what?
- 6:32[SPEAKER_00]: That only made things worse.
- 6:34[SPEAKER_00]: Critics immediately noticed that the apology had been posted as an Instagram graphic without alternative text for the visually impaired, which triggered an entirely new round of accusations of ableism.
- 6:51[SPEAKER_00]: See, that's the beauty of the woke struggle session.
- 6:54[SPEAKER_00]: The apology doesn't absolve you.
- 6:56[SPEAKER_00]: The apology is treated as a confession.
- 6:59[SPEAKER_00]: And once you've confessed, your accusers simply begin looking for the next defense.
- 7:05[SPEAKER_00]: But nothing.
- 7:07[SPEAKER_00]: Absolutely nothing.
- 7:08[SPEAKER_00]: Could have prepared the bar's owners for what happened next.
- 7:14[SPEAKER_00]: emergencies don't wait for perfect conditions.
- 7:17[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, one wrong turn, one breakdown, one unexpected storm, and suddenly you're fighting the cold instead of getting help.
- 7:25[SPEAKER_00]: That's why this tiny little orange bag matters because inside, if you can believe it, like magic.
- 7:34[SPEAKER_00]: is this full size heat reflective emergency sleeping bag designed to trap body heat and protect you in extreme conditions.
- 7:44[SPEAKER_00]: I've tried it myself gang.
- 7:45[SPEAKER_00]: It is so warm.
- 7:46[SPEAKER_00]: It's amazing.
- 7:47[SPEAKER_00]: It's waterproof.
- 7:48[SPEAKER_00]: It's windproof, bright orange.
- 7:50[SPEAKER_00]: So rescuers can spot you fast.
- 7:52[SPEAKER_00]: Emergency experts recommend having one for every family member.
- 7:56[SPEAKER_00]: It weighs almost nothing.
- 7:57[SPEAKER_00]: It fits in your glove box or go back and it works when everything else fails.
- 8:01[SPEAKER_00]: Sierra Mondra engineered them to be compact, affordable, and more advanced than bulky sleeping bags.
- 8:07[SPEAKER_00]: They weigh 10 times less than a typical sleeping bag, but there's 7 feet long and 3 feet wide, so they'll fit anyone.
- 8:15[SPEAKER_00]: A typical sleeping bag would cost you well over $200, right now they're marked down over 59% with free shipping on multi-packs.
- 8:24[SPEAKER_00]: You won't find these in stores are available right here.
- 8:27[SPEAKER_00]: Get your family ready today and save a bundle before the sale ends.
- 8:31[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, and almost forgot the 10 pack ships free doubling up your savings.
- 8:36[SPEAKER_00]: Click below and make sure your family has real protection when it matters most.
- 8:43[SPEAKER_00]: On September 11th, last ditch held a community accountability meeting with about 10 mass participants sitting in the circle.
- 8:51[SPEAKER_00]: Another 10 to 15 people joining through Zoom, two mediators and a calming breathing exercise.
- 8:58[SPEAKER_00]: to begin the proceedings.
- 9:00[SPEAKER_00]: The meeting was supposed to discuss the mask policy in the bars financial future, but it quickly descended into total chaos.
- 9:09[SPEAKER_00]: When a licensed therapist serving as a mediator suggested that social media was alienating people from one another, Zoom participants accused
- 9:19[SPEAKER_00]: of dismissing disabled attendees centering her white feelings and possibly being an agent of the state who might have them involuntarily committed.
- 9:32[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, you couldn't parody this if you tried.
- 9:35[SPEAKER_00]: But as insane as all that sounds, what happened after the story went viral may be even better.
- 9:42[SPEAKER_00]: On the first mask optional Saturday after last ditch became nationally famous, Patrons arrived for a golf night featuring DJ's name Hannibal Directive and puppy synthesis and all that sort of stuff.
- 9:56[SPEAKER_00]: only to be turned away because the staff was holding an emergency meeting over fears that the venue was being infiltrated.
- 10:06[SPEAKER_00]: When nearly 100 people were turned later, the supposedly public dance night had suddenly become a private event.
- 10:13[SPEAKER_00]: Customers reportedly had to name someone they knew inside and temporarily surrender their identification to staff as a security measure.
- 10:22[SPEAKER_00]: And after all of that outrage, all those accusations, and all the predictions of mass death, fewer than a dozen patrons were reportedly wearing masks.
- 10:33[SPEAKER_00]: So the people who actually showed up overwhelmingly chose to go masquist, despite all that paranoia, while the most fanatical critics generated their outrage from behind computer screens.
- 10:45[SPEAKER_00]: Now,
- 10:47[SPEAKER_00]: For me, this is what makes this story of the year.
- 10:50[SPEAKER_00]: This is, and by the way, there's even reports now that they might turn this into a movie.
- 10:55[SPEAKER_00]: I just, in the sense that even Hollywood could possibly have scripted this.
- 11:00[SPEAKER_00]: When all said and done, this serves as a master and an absolutely unrivaled master class on precisely how parasitic
- 11:17[SPEAKER_00]: wokeness is intrinsically parasitic precisely because rather than building anything constructive or lucrative, wokeness attaches itself to something healthy, rewrites its purpose around ideological grievance, and then gradually drains it into the very qualities that made it viable and successful.
- 11:43[SPEAKER_00]: It enters promising compassion and inclusion, but it soon replaces competence with activism, freedom with compelled conformity, and genuine human relationships with a relentless hunt for oppressors and victims.
- 12:02[SPEAKER_00]: And because woke status comes from appearing more morally enlightened than everyone else, its followers are trapped in a constant competition to discover new offenses, invent stricter rules, and denounce yesterday's allies as today's bigots.
- 12:21[SPEAKER_00]: Researchers described this behavior's generally speaking moral grandstanding.
- 12:26[SPEAKER_00]: It's often referred to in relation to wokeness as virtue signaling, where moral language becomes a means of actually gaining status and dominating, supposed moral infereers.
- 12:39[SPEAKER_00]: But the key here is that a parasite that destroys its host eventually destroys itself, and that's precisely what's happening here.
- 12:51[SPEAKER_00]: Once all the obvious opponents have been expelled, the movement turns inward.
- 12:58[SPEAKER_00]: The moderates are silenced first, then the committed liberals, then the activists, and finally the revolutionaries.
- 13:07[SPEAKER_00]: They begin purging one another over ever smaller deviations from an ever changing orthodoxy.
- 13:14[SPEAKER_00]: That's the woke purity spiral.
- 13:17[SPEAKER_00]: Accusation is rewarded for givenness is forbidden and nobody can ever be pure enough because the entire hierarchy depends upon finding someone less pure to punish.
- 13:32[SPEAKER_00]: Eventually the organization collapses, the community disintegrates, and the people who built their identities around destroying others, discover that they themselves have become the movement's latest heritage.
- 13:46[SPEAKER_00]: Walkness always promises liberation, but because it feeds on suspicion, resentment and division, it ultimately consumes everything.
- 13:58[SPEAKER_00]: including itself.
