As we head towards episode 40, I'm Pet Brothers and on this

episode we are going to be taking a look back at what

happened at North Wrestling's Let the Cannons Fly 7, which

took place at Project House Leads.

So this is a show that's quite late in reviewing, truth be

perfectly told. This is mainly due to scheduling

and kind of a cluster of reason to be fair.

That all said I've promised them weeks and weeks I will review

the show and by fuck or by fuck I am going to do it bad heel and

all. So we will try get through as

much as we can. So our first match was the pre

show and this was between Bruiser Brad and Evan Bishop.

I don't have too many notes on this match if any.

On this match. Bruiser Brad did pick up the

victory while everyone seems to now message me which is my fault

Anyway, yeah, Bruiser Bright picked up the victory to which I

believe he is from the fair city of Aberdeen.

Evan Bishop who I think is a local in terms of being from

Yorkshire way as a couple of friends of mine that being Chris

Lawson and Jeebus who everyone knows they were chanting his

name and being as they are more of the White Rose variety along

they were chanting for Evan. This was quite a fun little free

show match in to be perfectly true, but N have had a couple of

pre show matches now and from memory they've all been really

good. This one didn't particularly go

too long, it might have gone about 7 minutes or so.

The previous pre show match we had was Billy O'kee against Ian

Skinner. O'Keefe I've never seen prior to

this. Skinner I've seen almost too

much at times, but it's never a bad thing.

But on this occasion, yeah, everyone kind of did the part.

Bruiser Brad riled up the locals.

Evan Bishop was a high flying son of a gun, so we then

actually moved to the show in question, which was left the

Cannons Flight 7, one of North Wrestling's staple shows on

their calendar. So we start off with match #1A

Lunar taking on session Moff Martina.

And this again did not go particularly long, but it was a

fun little opener. So checking the notes, of which

I don't have many, but I have some Martina, well, we have an

absolute downpour here in Manchester.

Shock, horror. Now Martina tries to get a Luna

to dance with her. A Luna then joins in the fun.

Ben smacks the derriere, shall we say, of session Mark.

Martina goes to almost apologetically apologise

effectively, but instead rolls her up, gets a 2 which sees the

angry side of Martina coming out, but does a great job

through all of this in not spilling a single drop of her

beer. So then we see Moth giving her

can to referee Swift, I believe it was a Luna, then takes the

can of the referee almost in a kind of apologetic.

I'm using that word a lot already, using in a kind of I'm

sorry, peace offering successor Mop who is on the top rope, but

a Luna turns round, hands it back to the referee and Ash the

ref turns round, a Luna kicks her right in the head and from

then on it's a drop kick to session Mop who is laying across

the bottom rope. It's another drop kick to the

back of session Mark gets a near fall.

We then have Martina turning things around with a Fisherwoman

suplex for A2 count. Aluna then puts her opponent in

a kind of like a Figure 4 but flipped and then almost a

recalculated Figure 4 in a sense.

However, Martina gets to the rope, stomps in the corner from

a Luna. Martina comes back hitting his

sphere, followed by a twisting release suplex.

A Luna then hits OH then slaps Martina and gives her a head but

double knees to the back before coming off Brett's rope with a

knee right across the small of Martina's back.

Session Mark then hits an unorthodox move, almost like an

abdominal stretch, but then turns into a pinning attempt

which draws A2 count before hitting a code breaker off

Brett's rope to get the 1-2 and the three again.

Really fun little opening match this the crowd was.

I'd say the first few matches took them a bit to get warmed up

so they weren't as vocal as we kind of like went on.

So it wasn't as loud I thought as the previous show, but again,

does not take away anything from that show.

I'll kind of discuss more of that at the end.

We then move to match #2 which was A tag team match with Henry

Faust, Daz Black taking on Vanity, that being Judas Great

and Ronan King. Now, I will be very quick on

this because a lot has happened since.

I don't want to kind of downplay it and I don't want to go

overboard with it. It's kind of in that mix.

So just as Vanity got in the ring, AI can't call them and a

fan, I can't call them a human. They shouted at a slur which was

very quickly dealt with by the yellow shirts at North.

We did have like a mini incident was handled very well which if

you saw my tweets around this time will know what my thoughts

So we will touch or say touch. We will get straight into what

happened. So we had Daz Black and Judas

grade for their respective teams.

Early teamwork from Vanity as Great and Ronan do a really good

job at Stifling does Black. That does not last very long

though because we have Boust getting involved with them,

Boust and Black showing their cohesiveness with Henry doing

his kicks and Black giving out the chops to poor Ronan King.

Who is the being subjected to this torture in the corner?

Henry finds himself in a spot of bobber when King hushes him in

the corner. This is where Grey who's doing

his kind of handstand in the corner and then pendulum

dropkick into the face of Faust. Black then has to fight off Grey

in the ring and has Ronan King on the outside trying to get at
11:40
him. So fighting off from outside and

in Mule kicks Ronan and then hits a lovely float over from

the outside into the ring to hit a float over DDT to Judas.

He follows this up with a spinning crossbody to Ronan on

the outside and then goes on to hit a incredible springboard

moonsault into a scorpion death drop.

I put it for 2. Well, my camera decides not to

work, but never you mind. From that point on we see does

like diving to the outside on Judas Grey.

Black is caught up with the emotion and the adrenaline going

through him. However, this allows Judas to

get back to his feet back in the ring and equally it's his own

dive to the outside to get revenge.

Soon after we have Black not knowing that Ronan has tagged

Judas prior to Greg going through the ropes.

So this is where King grabs Black from behind, puts him in a

kind of wheelbarrow position, and has Grey coming off the top

row hitting an elbow. Judas then follows this up with

a standing moonsault with Black hitting a Pele kick, and Faust

then tags in and hits multiple strikes to Judas Grey before

hitting him with a Michinoku Driver.

Ronan King then comes in, picks up Henry who is sat down on the

mat, almost dead weight really, and then plants him with a

spinning sit down powerbomb. Ronan then lets his cockiness

get getting the better of him as he goes to the centre of the

ring on the outside, scales the ropes very carefully, where if

you know Project's house, there's a girder that runs right

across the the ceiling above the ring.

So Ronan decides to kind of make a moment, so to speak.

So he grabs onto the girder, crawls along it like kind of a

spider man would. Henry realises what Ronan is

trying to do, see spouse rolling to the outside where King is now

left on his own hanging from this girder and does what hits

him with a drop kit and takes a a bump.

He should not really have talked but when cockiness gets the

better of you, you, you will do stupid things.

Grey hits a Shining wizard followed by a spinning rack

slams I called it. Grey then hits a Swanton but

lands our Jeff Hardy these days where all the weight seemed to

go on the chest instead of just off the chest instead of rolling

off him. It was at this point the crowd

seemed to think that Faust was out of it completely because the

view we had looked like Grey had landed on his head.

I landed on Henry's head. I should say it very gnarly and

even watching it back on Patreon, it still does not look

It leads on that day as it is Daz Black trips up Judas who

inadvertently low blows his partner to which King had been

doing the very lacked cover of of doing like a China cover to

resting on the opponent and they're just leaning up against

them. But obviously the head butt to

Low blows his partner. We then see Black making the

tag, hits a shotgun dropkick followed by Crucifix Bond to

pick up victory for their team. Again this this was a really

solid match. Really good to see more of Judas

Grey Ronan King. I have not seen too much of,

only kind of through these N Shields and Leeds, but I've

really enjoyed watching him. First time watching Daz Black

and I can understand why WWE selected him for a tryout

because he is. He's quick.

He's quick and high flying and you could arguably put him in

the Leon Slater envelope. Very, very quick hits, some

really kind of inventive high flying moves.

I think it's better to say, but yeah, I really enjoyed this

contest and this kind of saw the crowd getting a bit more into

the the show I felt, which which was a good thing because you

really need more crowd interaction.

There we go to match them three. Alexis Falcon taking on Molly

Spartan Whenever I see Alexis Falcon on a show I will always

get the biggest smile on my face even though she is the biggest

rule breaker. The probably is in brute

wrestling but she's just too damn good.

It's again, you have these two women who both I feel are

amazing at being the rule Breakers for different reasons.

Falcon, because she has the comedic, very much the comedic

side, is a hell of a wrestler. But.

Putting the two together and it's no wonder that she is right

the best in the UK right now. So you are from that to Molly

Molly playing the kind of the fan favourite, mainly because

stomps, but cannot move. Molly Spartan.

The Spartan then kind of just shoves.

A flying Alexis tries this twice and is repeatedly shoved back,

much to the crowd's delight, then calls for the test of

strength, where a fan heckles Alexis with You don't lift, she

replies back. Well, it doesn't look like she

lifts either, and Molly's face is one of you cheapy bitch.

And then they go to do a Tesla's friend.

But you know damn well they're not going to do this and they

don't as Molly, sorry. As Alexis pokes Molly in the

eyes. Alexis then tries to body slam

Spartan chants of Molly lifts as Falcon struggles to even just

maybe get a toe off the ground. She tries.

She tries that hard. What's up?

And then effectively says yeah I think she does lift actually

because I can't lift her. Which has the crowd laughing.

We then have a body check by Molly and has the wicked bitch

of Brit wrestling in trouble. An avalanche splash with a turn

around axe handle sees Molly then missing with a diving

crossbody. Falcon hits a me to the face of

Molly which looked brutal. Falcon then hits a backstabber

and the fans continue to get on Alexis's case continuing to say

you can't lift. She then turned around and I

quote I can kick her in the fucking face which she tries but

Spartan catches her and then nails her with a head.

But Molly then finally hits the crossbody to the back of Falcon.

Falcon hits a standing off with her head which was a nice kind

of like move to get into it. To be fair.

Molly rallies though hits a Spartan bomb off the ropes.

Falcon then gets literally and I need literally a fingertip on

Stretching her hand out, the fingertip just touching the

bottom rope, Falcon then hits the spinning neck breaker.

Alexis tells Molly. You mean fuck all to me?

Molly avoids the following move by Alexis Falcon and goes on to

hit a massive spear to pick up the victory.

I love this match. This was a whole lot of fun.

Again, as I said a minute ago, I love Molly, I love Falcon, both

doing everything here right. Molly did not do too much

dissimilar from when she's kind of like the villain, just a bit

more less echoing back the heart the audience, but shows that she

is an absolute ass kicker. The same goes for Alexis Falcon,

one of the, again, as I said, one of the best in the UK right

favourite matches all on the night.

So we then moved to, I think this was the first half main

events, if you want to use that term, which was the Ultraviolet

Championship, Clint Magera taking on Scotty Rock.

And my big massive note I have underneath this is this was

physical by God, wasn't it? Just there is a lot that

happened in this match. So we will try and cypher

through this. So we both obviously trade moves

early on. The first big move if you like,

coming from Scotty Rock as he bounces off the ropes, tumbling

through the air and coming down on the north side.

As Clint moves out of the way on the outside, Rock thinks he's

knocked down his taller opponents only to turn around

and he's met by Clint Mcgara. The crowd are very much split on

who they want to win this. I'd probably say Mcgara may have

But then last September things seem to change as at this time

And while he admits he does take shortcuts, Grey has had his head

turned by the North bands. It doesn't feel like Grey that

done for Grey, he's kind of annoyed that as long as much as

King has had his back, it's never felt Grey has had his and

informs us that he is in the NCL Cup tournament and is going to

prove to Grey that he was right all along.

So we we kind of know now that King is in that tournament.

And spoilers, the final of the NCL Cup was Judas Grey and Ronan

We then head to our penultimate match of the show, which is the

North Championship as that damn dirty dog Gene Money defends

against Trent fucking 7. So as we get into this, the

crowd really is Case 5050 here. There's a couple of matches on

the show where the crowd are really torn between who they
36:50
want to win and certain matches, but this one feels very much a

case of a cigarette paper may still not be able to determine

who can split the crowd. I'll say that again, a cigarette

paper can not separate the crowd because it is so close.

If you're watching this, I'm not a dad, I just stole my dad's

cup. Anyway, the match itself, we see

Trent barging into Jean and continues to barge into Jean

trying to knock him off his feet, but for every time he

doesn't he pulls his big manly trunks up, does it so much that

I'll be honest, I'm not really here for it to be as nice as I

but Trent then fakes a chop, blows a Raspberry on Gene Money

stomach, very much the same way that Money would do it to his

chest is effectively red raw with these knife edge chops.

And of course he does. One misses Jean at one point,

but we all know ring posts and Treads 7 go together like milk

Trent smashes his hand off the ring post as he would do and as

Gene turns around his chest is as red as a Robin.

Later on we see a cobra clutch being put on by the challenger.

Money then says chop him, do it, do it, chop chop me harder, but

7 instead twists the nipples of Money and then snaps the fingers

of the champion which I could actually hear.

Because sometimes when they do that spot you don't always hear.

I've worked out at least 40 chops must be in this match with

about 90 of them or 90% coming from Trent.

Both hit high line crossbodies. Sorry, I'll rephrase that.

The the spot where both men go off the ropes and they go to hit

the crossbodies and they just find each other because they

both have the same idea. They do this twice to each other

as the crowd gets more remote into this contest.

Jean then hits a spring spear from the outside in but he's met

Money hits an Impaler DDT on Trent but on the belt and then

by Trent lands A2 count and this is just a crazy kind of like

back end of the match. Trent then goes out to use the

belt but puts the title belt on the kind of turnbuckle because

it's kind of out of everyone's way.

This is after Ref Casey begged him not to do it.

However, Gene hits a ripcord clause line of kind of like

money maker if you want to call it that money then hits a

burning hammer to his opponents dumps him into the corner.

You can get the words out. Instead of being like Yoda, he

goes into the corner and as he kind of stumbles round G money

What a match this was. Gene and Trent show each other

respect after the contest, hugging each other after what

had been. Absolutely incredible match.

Trent who is just seems to be putting on bangers this year,

especially in North in Leeds because he had that epic match

with Rio still. I mean my favourite match of the
