- 2:55Speaker 4: Every day every day we've been sore.
- 3:00Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, for sure, man shout out to He was

- 3:05Speaker 5: Can can y'all not stand on the couches? Please?
- 3:09Speaker 7: When come you to turn?
- 3:12Speaker 3: Yeah? Yeah, yeah. So it's been a it's been a
- 3:14Speaker 3: it's been a great trip and this is a great
- 3:16Speaker 3: way to end it. So so sactly A Smith. You
- 3:19Speaker 3: might have known him from his musical career, were pretty
- 3:21Speaker 3: ricky multi platinum group. You're still a member of that group?
- 3:25Speaker 5: Yeah yeah, we.
- 3:26Speaker 2: Just got off tour. We got pulled off to it because.
- 3:28Speaker 3: Cod Okay, yeah, so huge, huge, huge group, multi platinum,
- 3:34Speaker 3: all of that good stuff. But he's also a serial
- 3:36Speaker 3: entrepreneur and an online gurgle of sorts. He teaches people
- 3:42Speaker 3: how to monetize their platform, about Facebook ads, about how
- 3:47Speaker 3: to go viral, all of that everything online that you
- 3:51Speaker 3: need to actually run a business. A lot of times
- 3:54Speaker 3: people don't fully understand the power of online and social
- 3:57Speaker 3: media marketing. They just they have a business and they
- 4:00Speaker 3: just post on on Instagram like hey, fifty percent off sale.
- 4:03Speaker 3: That's it.
- 4:04Speaker 5: Who's your audience?
- 4:05Speaker 3: Yeah, but they don't know how to actually grow the
- 4:07Speaker 3: page and how to actually monetize the page, and how
- 4:09Speaker 3: to actually you know, figure out the algorithms and all that.
- 4:12Speaker 3: So this is this is a business show. So this
- 4:15Speaker 3: is like vitally important to all business owners and even
- 4:17Speaker 3: people that's not business owners, but people that might have
- 4:19Speaker 3: services or just want to just grow their brand. You
- 4:23Speaker 3: got to know how to run ads, you gotta know
- 4:25Speaker 3: how to market yourself, you got to know how to
- 4:26Speaker 3: monetize your platform. Is extremely important. So these are all
- 4:30Speaker 3: things that we're going to talk about today. He has
- 4:33Speaker 3: a company called ad Wizards as wizard, and he also
- 4:37Speaker 3: has a platform where he helps and trains people and
- 4:40Speaker 3: teaches these things. So we're gonna have a broad range conversation.
- 4:43Speaker 3: We're gonna go over everything nuts and boats. So at
- 4:46Speaker 3: first and foremost thank you for joining us.
- 4:47Speaker 2: Appreciate it much love man, I've been doing your thing.
- 4:51Speaker 2: Man sign the type.
- 4:53Speaker 3: I appreciate it, appreciate it. So all right, let's get
- 4:55Speaker 3: it going.
- 4:56Speaker 5: All right.
- 4:57Speaker 3: So entrepreneur, Right, so you started at a young age,
- 5:02Speaker 3: me and an entrepreneur, like crazy story. You was making
- 5:06Speaker 3: fifteen hundred, two thousand dollars a week when he was
- 5:08Speaker 3: twelve years old. Yeah, how does that happen?
- 5:12Speaker 2: Just understanding problems. I think every successful business you're solving
- 5:18Speaker 2: a problem. And in school, like kids were starving in class,
- 5:23Speaker 2: acting up because they was just hungry. So I was
- 5:25Speaker 2: just like, well, not only I can solve this problem.
- 5:30Speaker 2: And my solve was candy. I was like, Okay, you hungry.
- 5:33Speaker 2: I mean, well you hungry, you hungry?
- 5:34Speaker 7: Like, oh, y'all hungry.
- 5:35Speaker 2: Then if all y'all hungry, that mean if I bring
- 5:38Speaker 2: some candy, I'll buy the candy because y'all hungry. So
- 5:42Speaker 2: I had forty five dollar bads in candy because that's
- 5:44Speaker 2: the only amount that I can bring to school, like
- 5:46Speaker 2: actually carried with me and I was sold lot by
- 5:49Speaker 2: the time I got the third period, So we had
- 5:51Speaker 2: seven periods. I was in middle school, sixth grade eleven
- 5:55Speaker 2: years old, and by the time I got the fourth period,
- 5:59Speaker 2: fifth Pieros, sixth period, it.
- 6:00Speaker 4: Was like, I thought you had candy. You told me
- 6:02Speaker 4: I had candy. Like, I'm sole locked know what to do.
- 6:04Speaker 4: Everybody know who that guy is in the school.
- 6:06Speaker 2: You know, I don't have no more. So I came
- 6:10Speaker 2: to the conclusion like I need help. So I got
- 6:12Speaker 2: ten people to agree to sell candy for me. I said, yo,
- 6:15Speaker 2: I give you twenty dollars a week if you help
- 6:17Speaker 2: me sell this candy. You in class all day anyway,
- 6:19Speaker 2: all you got to do is sell it while you're
- 6:21Speaker 2: in class. They said, I ain't cool. I said, well, guess what,
- 6:24Speaker 2: I get extra extra five dollars if you sell them
- 6:27Speaker 2: on it three times in one week. And I gave
- 6:30Speaker 2: him a centima. I didn't even know this at the time.
- 6:34Speaker 2: You just was winging it, bro, I was just winging it.
- 6:36Speaker 7: I just wanted to push him to sell more candy.
- 6:38Speaker 2: And by the time I give everybody at the beginning
- 6:41Speaker 2: to the school on the side of the school, just
- 6:42Speaker 2: gave him twenty five dollars bad as a candy apiece
- 6:45Speaker 2: and they would sell out majority of the time. By
- 6:47Speaker 2: the time they got to literally like the fifth periods,
- 6:51Speaker 2: two more periods left. It was all so lout of candy.
- 6:55Speaker 2: And I did it every single week. And I mean
- 6:57Speaker 2: I was making more than my mom.
- 6:58Speaker 5: Yeah, so it's crazy.
- 7:00Speaker 4: So the math on that we make fifteen hundred dollars
- 7:02Speaker 4: a week, six thousand dollars a month, seventy two thousand
- 7:05Speaker 4: dollars for the year, seventy six thousand dollars for a year, right,
- 7:08Speaker 4: seventy two thousand.
- 7:09Speaker 5: What is that like, man?
- 7:10Speaker 4: Cause like it took me to I was like twenty
- 7:13Speaker 4: seven to even get that type of money. You walking
- 7:15Speaker 4: through middle school, probably making more than the teachers and
- 7:18Speaker 4: your mom.
- 7:18Speaker 5: You said, So what's that feeling like? Like, are you
- 7:20Speaker 5: the guy? Like what's going on with you on a
- 7:23Speaker 5: personal level?
- 7:24Speaker 2: You know what? I was just helping my mom with bills, yeah, Like,
- 7:28Speaker 2: and I just would buy anything I want. I bought
- 7:32Speaker 2: my first car at fourteen. Yeah, license ain't That's why
- 7:37Speaker 2: I didn't get back. I got to have no license,
- 7:39Speaker 2: no registration.
- 7:40Speaker 5: But I was on the road.
- 7:42Speaker 2: My you know, my mom she was let me get
- 7:44Speaker 2: away with that. Matter of fact, I don't know how
- 7:48Speaker 2: she let me get away. My dad when he got
- 7:50Speaker 2: out of prison. My dad serarted twelve years in prison.
- 7:52Speaker 2: When he got out of prison, He's seen what I
- 7:55Speaker 2: was doing.
- 7:55Speaker 7: It was like yo, yo, get that call, like he
- 7:57Speaker 7: made me get my call away.
- 7:59Speaker 5: Damn.
- 8:00Speaker 2: Yeah, I was. Yeah.
- 8:01Speaker 3: And where was where was? Where'd you grow up?
- 8:04Speaker 7: Care City in Miami?
- 8:06Speaker 3: Right? Yeah, so so you that's where Rick Ross is from.
- 8:11Speaker 2: Yeah? And floor Rider?
- 8:12Speaker 3: Okay, all right, so you you out here and you're
- 8:16Speaker 3: running a whole operation with candy safe to say, are
- 8:20Speaker 3: you buying candy like wholesale?
- 8:21Speaker 2: Yeah, I'm a small smart Smart and Final something called
- 8:25Speaker 2: Smarter Final. I don't even know they still got that
- 8:27Speaker 2: out here, but yeah, I would get the forty the
- 8:29Speaker 2: forty eight snaker bar pack like the area.
- 8:36Speaker 5: Yeah, I know it's talking about it.
- 8:38Speaker 7: And I used to get all the like Eminem's and everything.
- 8:40Speaker 2: And man, that's when I realized that because like I
- 8:44Speaker 2: even had my brothers selling for me too. Yeah. They
- 8:47Speaker 2: was you know, they used to eat my candy, man,
- 8:49Speaker 2: they used to.
- 8:53Speaker 5: We got we got a customer.
- 8:56Speaker 3: You can vouch for that.
- 8:58Speaker 5: There's a human Vendom machine.
- 9:00Speaker 2: No, no, listen. That was the first time I ever
- 9:02Speaker 2: got put out of business. Was the Vendom machines. The
- 9:05Speaker 2: school realized how much money I was making, and they
- 9:08Speaker 2: literally got venom machines. They every single time they was
- 9:11Speaker 2: catching my employees and it was just like yo, like smill,
- 9:16Speaker 2: we got another one for like they used to see
- 9:18Speaker 2: me in the always say we got another one. They
- 9:20Speaker 2: were so mad at me. The principal and I used
- 9:23Speaker 2: to go. I used to come in the office and
- 9:24Speaker 2: see my bag on the floor. I see I see
- 9:31Speaker 2: my my my inventory, bro, and they passing it around
- 9:35Speaker 2: in the office. You want one? You want one? I'm like, yo,
- 9:37Speaker 2: like a hot yo. No, but seriously, like it was,
- 9:41Speaker 2: it was. It was pretty bad man. They it was
- 9:43Speaker 2: eating my canny. And then and then that's when the
- 9:46Speaker 2: venom machines came out because they see how much money
- 9:48Speaker 2: I was making. Because they started counting my pockets. They
- 9:51Speaker 2: was like, well hold up, you got we put like
- 9:53Speaker 2: ten people in detention. We're then suspended a couple of them.
- 9:56Speaker 7: And then that's when they put the Vendom machines there.
- 9:58Speaker 2: So I started trying to fight back, start playing paper
- 10:00Speaker 2: in the quarter slots.
- 10:02Speaker 5: You know.
- 10:04Speaker 2: I paid somebody to cut the cord and then before
- 10:07Speaker 2: I looked at it, I was like, oh, they got
- 10:10Speaker 2: a camera right facing toward and that's when I was
- 10:12Speaker 2: officially out of business. And then but then my daddy
- 10:15Speaker 2: had a record label. It was a group called Piccolo,
- 10:18Speaker 2: and they had like a bunch of hit records like
- 10:20Speaker 2: in Miami and like his company, uh you know, he
- 10:23Speaker 2: went out of business with the with the record label.
- 10:26Speaker 2: So he had like like he had like I don't know,
- 10:28Speaker 2: I think what fifty thousand CDs in there in the garage.
- 10:32Speaker 2: I took every last CD to the school and I
- 10:35Speaker 2: told every last person. I was like, yo, I was like, listen,
- 10:38Speaker 2: this how you sell it?
- 10:39Speaker 7: I was like, go to him.
- 10:41Speaker 2: I gave him three songs that was a banker in Miami,
- 10:44Speaker 2: big moneyballers, like it was all the biggest records. And
- 10:47Speaker 2: I used to put the headphones on and say, listen,
- 10:50Speaker 2: give me thirty seconds of your time. If you don't
- 10:53Speaker 2: like what you hear, I'm gonna leave you alone. You
- 10:55Speaker 2: never got to hear from you again. But if you
- 10:57Speaker 2: like what you here, it's just gonna be five dollars.
- 10:59Speaker 2: This the whole package right here. And by the time
- 11:01Speaker 2: I did, I saw my dad was like, Yo, what
- 11:04Speaker 2: them CDs out in here? I sold every last CD,
- 11:07Speaker 2: me and me and my whole squad, them boys went
- 11:09Speaker 2: platinum in the school.
- 11:12Speaker 3: So you've always been a hustle your whole life.
- 11:14Speaker 2: I always been like that.
- 11:15Speaker 3: So how'd you get into music?
- 11:17Speaker 2: I really got forced into music. I never wanted to
- 11:20Speaker 2: be an artist. I used to be dancing and stuff,
- 11:23Speaker 2: like in Miami they call it booty shaking, and like,
- 11:25Speaker 2: I was always a dancer, being dance groups on the
- 11:28Speaker 2: stage for like freaking five thousand people in the crowd,
- 11:32Speaker 2: getting pulled off stage in the third grade.
- 11:35Speaker 7: Like, I was always an entertainer.
- 11:37Speaker 2: And then when my dad got out of prison, he
- 11:39Speaker 2: was just like, yo, you're coming with me. You know,
- 11:42Speaker 2: no woman can show a man how to be a man.
- 11:44Speaker 2: And I was a mama's boy, and you damn he
- 11:46Speaker 2: was too strict for me. My mama let me get
- 11:48Speaker 2: away with murder.
- 11:49Speaker 7: The only thing she ain't really let you bring no
- 11:51Speaker 7: girls home.
- 11:52Speaker 2: My dad he don't care who come on. But uh,
- 11:55Speaker 2: but yeah, he was strict as hell man and uh,
- 11:58Speaker 2: and I didn't want to go, but he was just like, no,
- 12:00Speaker 2: you coming. Used to talk down on me, like nahs
- 12:02Speaker 2: for gay guys dance around boots shaking shaky hands on stage,
- 12:05Speaker 2: like yo, he was, you know, my dad's a drill sergeant.
- 12:09Speaker 2: So I was just like, man, that's kind of messed up.
- 12:13Speaker 2: You got talking to me like he don't care tho.
- 12:15Speaker 2: So he told me, he was like, listen, if you're
- 12:18Speaker 2: gonna dance, get in the group with your brothers. And uh,
- 12:21Speaker 2: my brother's pretty ricky. So I was the person dancing
- 12:24Speaker 2: on stage with no mic, just dance, just dance. I'm
- 12:28Speaker 2: just I'm here, so I don't get fine, So I'm
- 12:31Speaker 2: just dancing and whatever. And and one day that the
- 12:35Speaker 2: record label, not the record LA, but the producer, Jim Johnson,
- 12:39Speaker 2: was like, Yo, why are you gonna give Speck a verse?
- 12:42Speaker 2: It was like king rap. I just wanted to dance,
- 12:45Speaker 2: so they gave me a rap. Uh, they made me rap.
- 12:48Speaker 2: I got on the song and they made me perform
- 12:51Speaker 2: the one verse I had and all the girls started
- 12:54Speaker 2: going crazy. So it was like, Yo, put Speck on
- 12:56Speaker 2: all the songs. So I ended up having to jump
- 12:58Speaker 2: on every song they already had recorded. And then we
- 13:01Speaker 2: came out with a song called ground on Me.
- 13:03Speaker 4: That's the first wasn't very hard, so like he got
- 13:08Speaker 4: into that, okay, because I'm.
- 13:11Speaker 5: Like, yo, that's you out of here with that.
- 13:13Speaker 4: It was a rap, so you had known them. It
- 13:15Speaker 4: was our first R and B R and B record.
- 13:17Speaker 4: You know these guys from school.
- 13:18Speaker 3: That's his brothers.
- 13:19Speaker 7: Yeah, my brother, so actual blood brother.
- 13:21Speaker 2: So Slick them is is my we call each other
- 13:25Speaker 2: baby Blue is my brother, okay, right, same mom, same dad,
- 13:29Speaker 2: and then Slick is my cousin. Literally it was like
- 13:32Speaker 2: I know since birth and Pete and uh and p
- 13:36Speaker 2: he came in and we knew Pete growing up. So
- 13:40Speaker 2: like the first song we ever did with Pete was
- 13:42Speaker 2: grind on.
- 13:43Speaker 5: Me, Wait to start. That's the way to start, right
- 13:46Speaker 5: right right off the back.
- 13:48Speaker 3: So all right, we always hear these horror stories about entertaining,
- 13:52Speaker 3: and even when we spoke to Fat Joe, he had
- 13:55Speaker 3: a horror story. He went to jail, you know that, Yeah,
- 13:58Speaker 3: for taxing his account wasn't painting. Mismanagement of money happens
- 14:01Speaker 3: pretty common, and this is a show where we actually
- 14:04Speaker 3: like to highlight the good and the bad. So you
- 14:06Speaker 3: got a tragic situation because you sold millions of records
- 14:09Speaker 3: but you didn't have any money. Yeah, how'd that happen?
- 14:12Speaker 7: My father was handling everything.
- 14:14Speaker 2: Like my dad was the guy with the bends a
- 14:16Speaker 2: year before it came out, two story house in the hood,
- 14:18Speaker 2: got out of prison, stayed in the stayed in the
- 14:21Speaker 2: back of a grocery store, and built this way up.
- 14:24Speaker 2: Gotta got a daycare like he was the man.
- 14:28Speaker 5: Yeah, the daycare.
- 14:28Speaker 7: Yeah, the daycare who started learning center.
- 14:32Speaker 2: Yeah. I don't know why he ain't franchised, but you know,
- 14:35Speaker 2: pretty riguous having all the babies made. That was the
- 14:38Speaker 2: perfect school. Look that was yo. Now that's vertically integrated.
- 14:45Speaker 7: And then we have the daycare for your kids.
- 14:47Speaker 2: Come on, now, this guy stick of the head, this guy,
- 14:50Speaker 2: come on, man. So back to the story though, So
- 14:53Speaker 2: he mismanaged the money. We got into it with the
- 14:56Speaker 2: record label Pleasure in the one to leave because we
- 15:00Speaker 2: it was all like family and pleasure, you know. He
- 15:02Speaker 2: was he was a close friend, you know, coming up.
- 15:04Speaker 2: But at the same time he's like, yo, I can't
- 15:06Speaker 2: get my money, I'm out. So the group ended up
- 15:09Speaker 2: splitting and because my pops weren't really giving nobody no
- 15:12Speaker 2: money like that.
- 15:13Speaker 5: And at this time he's managing all of y'am.
- 15:15Speaker 2: He's manager and he's the record label, which is a
- 15:17Speaker 2: conflict and we're kids, so we're just happy, you know,
- 15:21Speaker 2: we live in life. You know, we having fun. Girl,
- 15:26Speaker 2: we see you know what I'm saying. We were just
- 15:28Speaker 2: having fun. So all we cared about. That's all we
- 15:32Speaker 2: cared about, you know. And we were just having fun,
- 15:35Speaker 2: living life. And he was just handling all the business
- 15:37Speaker 2: affairs and the money, and all we had to do
- 15:39Speaker 2: is just be talent. All I want to do is
- 15:41Speaker 2: get on stage. I didn't care about the money. I
- 15:43Speaker 2: was just like, I just want to be on stage.
- 15:46Speaker 2: And then uh yeah. Then he told us we had
- 15:48Speaker 2: the family meeting, and he was like, yo, we ain't
- 15:50Speaker 2: got nothing, damn.
- 15:54Speaker 5: So everybody's in the living room, guys, let's have a talk.
- 15:57Speaker 3: We broke pretty much like like nothing.
- 16:02Speaker 2: We about to lose everything.
- 16:03Speaker 3: So all the masters in that he had all the
- 16:05Speaker 3: masters or did he have masters?
- 16:07Speaker 2: So like we so we were part owners of the label, right,
- 16:10Speaker 2: so we have basically how we worked the deal a
- 16:14Speaker 2: lot is we get fifty percent of the masters until
- 16:16Speaker 2: like the contract is over, then we get one hundred
- 16:18Speaker 2: percent of the masters.
- 16:18Speaker 3: Okay, that's how we worked. So you still have the masters. Yeah,
- 16:21Speaker 3: at least we had that.
- 16:22Speaker 2: Yeah, we still got me.
- 16:23Speaker 3: But you know, like it just wasn't anything.
- 16:25Speaker 2: The way the way that my dad set the business
- 16:27Speaker 2: up is really his label, you know what I'm saying.
- 16:30Speaker 2: But we didn't. We didn't know as kids how that
- 16:36Speaker 2: worked out.
- 16:36Speaker 3: How old were you when you found out you had
- 16:38Speaker 3: no money? Twenty eight, twenty twenty eight, you're grown inn
- 16:42Speaker 3: so you didn't, like, at no point did you realize, like, yo,
- 16:46Speaker 3: let me check the book.
- 16:47Speaker 2: Like I didn't no business, Like I was doing my
- 16:51Speaker 2: own business. So that's why I never cared, you know.
- 16:53Speaker 2: So like that was just like something I was doing
- 16:56Speaker 2: for my family that was the family business, and was
- 17:00Speaker 2: doing my other doing my social media stuff. So like
- 17:02Speaker 2: I was making my money, you know what I'm saying,
- 17:04Speaker 2: But we we have no money like that. He just
- 17:07Speaker 2: made horrible business decisions. We made a lot of money,
- 17:10Speaker 2: We did a lot of shows. We sold over seventeen
- 17:13Speaker 2: million singles ring tones albums worldwide, Like we made the money.
- 17:19Speaker 3: So like these stories were like TLC and all, like
- 17:21Speaker 3: this really happens in real life, like when people were
- 17:23Speaker 3: like sell millions of records and they broke.
- 17:26Speaker 2: Yeah, because they don't educate themselves. But for me, I
- 17:29Speaker 2: was just young. It would have never happened to me
- 17:31Speaker 2: right now.
- 17:32Speaker 5: Yeah, So at twenty eight, right, y'all have this meeting.
- 17:37Speaker 4: I see a follow so in my mom like if
- 17:39Speaker 4: this is somebody that I didn't know, this is this
- 17:41Speaker 4: this is not gonna end well, this could be a fight,
- 17:42Speaker 4: like right on the spot. Like what's the reaction when
- 17:45Speaker 4: that happens? Is everybody like wait, hold up? We all
- 17:48Speaker 4: in shaka.
- 17:50Speaker 2: It was like, let's get to it. What's next? Okay,
- 17:53Speaker 2: different reactions. Yeah, but that's how we got raised. Like
- 17:56Speaker 2: we never got raised as victims. It's never a victim.
- 18:00Speaker 2: So like there was a family business. It ain't go right,
- 18:03Speaker 2: no difference than any business. It's like, yo, we was winning,
- 18:08Speaker 2: we got one turn in the market. We flatlined what
- 18:11Speaker 2: we gonna do. We're gonna sit there and cry, or
- 18:13Speaker 2: we're gonna get to it. Let's get to the bag.
- 18:16Speaker 5: That's all, you know.
- 18:17Speaker 2: And for me, but Pops got mad one day we
- 18:20Speaker 2: were supposed to do like some a song. We was
- 18:23Speaker 2: trying to get an artist on the song or whatever,
- 18:26Speaker 2: and he didn't really like that artist and he got
- 18:28Speaker 2: mad and like he heard we was, you know, doing
- 18:31Speaker 2: the song with him, and it was like, yo, what's
- 18:33Speaker 2: the issue. Got mad being drill sergeant, got hot, kicked
- 18:37Speaker 2: me out of the house. Like literally it was a
- 18:39Speaker 2: real kick guy, like get out of my house.
- 18:41Speaker 5: Like the house, no clothes, Like we.
- 18:44Speaker 2: All stayed together. It was a big ass family. So
- 18:46Speaker 2: we had the big ass house. Like we all stayed together,
- 18:49Speaker 2: and that was the goal, like to build the compounds
- 18:51Speaker 2: and everybody had their house on the compound, like that
- 18:53Speaker 2: was the family goal. And yeah, he got mad, he
- 18:57Speaker 2: got upset, kicked me out, had no money, had no clothes,
- 19:00Speaker 2: had no nothing. He was just like, yo, get out.
- 19:02Speaker 2: I didn't even get nothing. He was just like no, right,
- 19:07Speaker 2: I guess I'm out, you know, and my family with
- 19:10Speaker 2: me and my son at my my my girl, like
- 19:14Speaker 2: had the.
- 19:14Speaker 5: Lead, gotta go, how to go? The house you built?
- 19:18Speaker 5: Help built you to go?
- 19:21Speaker 2: No, no, no, I mean because he had the house
- 19:24Speaker 2: before the deal. So, like I said, he already understood
- 19:29Speaker 2: like business, but he didn't know how to dance with
- 19:32Speaker 2: the wolves and sharks.
- 19:34Speaker 5: It was a different level.
- 19:35Speaker 3: So he got screwed up. It wasn't so much like
- 19:37Speaker 3: he was people taking advantage of him.
- 19:40Speaker 2: Yes, he didn't educate himself because he's just like the
- 19:44Speaker 2: street knowledge is only gonna take you so far.
- 19:47Speaker 7: But at some time, at some point in time, you got.
- 19:49Speaker 2: To apply yourself and you got to get the surroundings
- 19:51Speaker 2: of the experts that have your best interest. But he
- 19:54Speaker 2: didn't do that because he's a loner. He don't want
- 19:56Speaker 2: like he's the He got his family, like and he
- 19:59Speaker 2: gonna squad up. But like, what can we Like, you
- 20:01Speaker 2: gotta get real advisory like a real advisory board, and
- 20:06Speaker 2: like put your executive team together, Like, we can't run
- 20:09Speaker 2: a real label. You need real people that know real
- 20:12Speaker 2: information that could execute on a high level. And we
- 20:15Speaker 2: didn't do that.
- 20:16Speaker 3: So how do you transition into social media and making
- 20:19Speaker 3: that a business?
- 20:20Speaker 2: Well, when you get kicked out of the house as
- 20:22Speaker 2: a celebrity and you ain't got no money, no clothes.
- 20:24Speaker 5: You gotta figure something of some action.
- 20:28Speaker 2: So all right, So like so Maddie J. It all
- 20:33Speaker 2: started from Maddy J.
- 20:35Speaker 5: Did you know him prior to that moment?
- 20:37Speaker 2: So it's funny, right, it's a funny story by Maddie.
- 20:39Speaker 2: I ain't gona I'm gonna let him tell a story.
- 20:41Speaker 2: But I met Maddie J. And we was just like
- 20:45Speaker 2: internet buddies. You know, you meet people on the internet.
- 20:47Speaker 2: We was doing trending topics, all types of stuff on.
- 20:50Speaker 2: We used to run the whole trending topics on. We
- 20:52Speaker 2: the reason why they changed the way trending topics come up. Yeah,
- 20:56Speaker 2: we changed that whole whole legend. Man, we we changed
- 21:00Speaker 2: that whole thing. I was like, Yo, Maddie, let's let's
- 21:02Speaker 2: make some trends saying, what do you want to do.
- 21:03Speaker 2: Let's go boom trench topic, Let's go ten seconds trending
- 21:07Speaker 2: like we like we dominated Twitter. We made them put
- 21:10Speaker 2: parodies and boy like we made them switch how they
- 21:13Speaker 2: do a lot of stuff because me and Maddie like
- 21:16Speaker 2: just doing like just being innovative and changing things. But yeah,
- 21:20Speaker 2: so he gave me a call and he was like, yo, spec,
- 21:23Speaker 2: I gotta plate you can make money off of tweeting.
- 21:26Speaker 2: He just really wanted to referral fee. He was winning
- 21:29Speaker 2: top iPads, you know, so like, but he still put
- 21:32Speaker 2: me up on games. So I was like, all right,
- 21:34Speaker 2: what's this. It's called my lights dot com. And on
- 21:37Speaker 2: my Leights they had leaderboards. They have light and then
- 21:39Speaker 2: you get like the extra bonuses. If you number one,
- 21:42Speaker 2: if you number two, you got you know, one fifty.
- 21:44Speaker 2: If you number one, you got an extra fifty dollars
- 21:46Speaker 2: for the day of you number two. And uh yeah,
- 21:50Speaker 2: I was always number one. I ain't even know what
- 21:52Speaker 2: number two felt like. And I just I just I
- 21:56Speaker 2: just monopolized off of it. And the way that I
- 21:58Speaker 2: was doing it is you basically have ads, and you
- 22:03Speaker 2: sell traffic.
- 22:03Speaker 7: Against those ads.
- 22:06Speaker 2: Right, So you have a Twitter page, the more Twitter
- 22:10Speaker 2: follows you have, you post these links on there to
- 22:13Speaker 2: send them to the landing page, and from that traffic,
- 22:16Speaker 2: you sell ads against that traffic. So they've been in
- 22:19Speaker 2: real time for the ban of placements. So that's how
- 22:24Speaker 2: we was making our money. Just imagine you post, ten
- 22:27Speaker 2: minutes later, you refresh, you make twenty five dollars, you
- 22:29Speaker 2: were fresh again. Twenty minutes later, you made another hundred,
- 22:32Speaker 2: you refresh again. Before you know it, you're waking up
- 22:35Speaker 2: to two thousand dollars three thousand dollars every day.
- 22:37Speaker 5: So with more traffic, more money, more.
- 22:39Speaker 2: Traffic, more money. So I started buying digital real estate,
- 22:44Speaker 2: and I started by acquiring pages, and then I got
- 22:47Speaker 2: to the point where I realized, like, okay, well, if
- 22:50Speaker 2: it took me this long to actually build my portfolio,
- 22:56Speaker 2: I would say I started parody accounts, Kat Williams, Wilfare Engining,
- 22:59Speaker 2: and Joe Leave and I started all these pages and
- 23:03Speaker 2: that was the birth of Grumpy Cat. And then I
- 23:06Speaker 2: started freaking scaling up like crazy on all of it,
- 23:09Speaker 2: just building building, building, building, And before you know it,
- 23:12Speaker 2: I was just like, well, you know what if I'm
- 23:15Speaker 2: doing all this for myself, I see the leaderboard. I
- 23:17Speaker 2: reached out to everybody on the leaderboard. I was like, listen,
- 23:20Speaker 2: I'm number one. You clearly would never beat me, right,
- 23:22Speaker 2: so let me take over your pages. You don't have
- 23:25Speaker 2: to do nothing. Let's do a rev share and I'm
- 23:27Speaker 2: gonna manage all your pages the way I manage my pages.
- 23:31Speaker 2: And I was freaking murdering it. I had every top
- 23:34Speaker 2: page on a whole platform out one hundred million users.
- 23:37Speaker 2: I had the top ten monetizing pages, and I ran
- 23:40Speaker 2: all their pages. And that was the birth of like
- 23:43Speaker 2: my company. Right, I was like, Okay, but if I
- 23:45Speaker 2: can do this for parody accounts, then what I can
- 23:49Speaker 2: do with a celebrity.
- 23:51Speaker 3: The parody accounts is interesting because before we sat on Alesia,
- 23:56Speaker 3: we had a fashion wave. Man, it was a fashion
- 23:59Speaker 3: blow that we had started uh, because I saw I
- 24:03Speaker 3: saw a kind of direction on Instagram was going in
- 24:05Speaker 3: twenty twelve, and I realized that people was actually doing
- 24:08Speaker 3: soft sales from their page. Like these girls would have
- 24:11Speaker 3: like millions of followers on like like these fashion pages,
- 24:14Speaker 3: and they'd be like, hey, just got this dress. What
- 24:16Speaker 3: do you think I got it from this? And they
- 24:17Speaker 3: would tag the person. At that time, it was before
- 24:20Speaker 3: Instagram ads was even a thing, but I saw m like, Yo,
- 24:23Speaker 3: this is actually brilliant. This is like she's running the
- 24:25Speaker 3: ad without them even knowing it's an ads. So I'm like,
- 24:27Speaker 3: we should do a fashion page, get enough followers, and
- 24:30Speaker 3: then we can sell ads to small businesses that's trying
- 24:32Speaker 3: to advertise their company. So we did a bunch of
- 24:34Speaker 3: different things to grow our page. And one of the
- 24:36Speaker 3: things that we did was there was a Will Farrell
- 24:38Speaker 3: parody page and it was like had like seven hundred
- 24:41Speaker 3: thousand It's crazy. I think this is before was that
- 24:45Speaker 3: your page.
- 24:47Speaker 2: I had two Will Farrell.
- 24:49Speaker 5: I had one of the biggest Will far page that
- 24:51Speaker 5: we paid you.
- 24:52Speaker 3: It was it was it was a Will Farrell party page,
- 24:55Speaker 3: and every now and then they would just do a
- 24:57Speaker 3: shout out like hey, follow this page and then be
- 25:00Speaker 3: getting like a thousand followers for that shout out. Some
- 25:03Speaker 3: of them would drop off because they was like, you know,
- 25:05Speaker 3: they wasn't like real like it was like ghost followers.
- 25:07Speaker 3: It wasn't engaged, but recruited following. We go to like
- 25:09Speaker 3: twelve thousand people. But that's the first time I got
- 25:12Speaker 3: introduced to parody pages. And I think that that might
- 25:14Speaker 3: have been one of the reasons why they started to
- 25:15Speaker 3: do verification, right Yo, I was.
- 25:19Speaker 2: The first very parody page on Twitter. I create the
- 25:24Speaker 2: first parody. It wouldn't didn't even exist. And then they
- 25:27Speaker 2: took my They took every last page I owned, they
- 25:29Speaker 2: banned my IP and then when they gave me my
- 25:32Speaker 2: pages back, they say, you have to put parity in
- 25:34Speaker 2: the bio. So I was the first person to have
- 25:36Speaker 2: a parody and the first person to have to put
- 25:38Speaker 2: parity in the bio. And then once they took my pages,
- 25:41Speaker 2: it took everybody else's pages and then made everybody put
- 25:44Speaker 2: parity in the bio. So if you go to Twitter
- 25:46Speaker 2: right now, you see parody pages, you see parity in
- 25:48Speaker 2: the bio.
- 25:49Speaker 5: That was because of me.
- 25:50Speaker 4: When you when you originally got those pages where they
- 25:53Speaker 4: all rev shares or were you like, oh, I'm a
- 25:55Speaker 4: purchase it for this price?
- 25:57Speaker 2: Oh no, I acquired pages straight up, Like, yo, how
- 25:59Speaker 2: much you want for your.
- 26:00Speaker 5: How much was you paying for the early K five.
- 26:02Speaker 2: K for a page for like three four hundred thousand
- 26:04Speaker 2: follow us?
- 26:05Speaker 4: So you had a tear like this thousand a thousand
- 26:07Speaker 4: dollars favorite hundred thousand was like the price?
- 26:10Speaker 5: Okay, got you? Got you all right?
- 26:12Speaker 4: So then when you when you started making the parody pages,
- 26:14Speaker 4: I know you did the celebrity ones and he and
- 26:17Speaker 4: he drawed back from celebrities like, yo, what you're doing.
- 26:18Speaker 5: You're taking my stuff, You're taking my talent. What's going on?
- 26:21Speaker 2: Nah? Actually benefit of their brand like it was certain
- 26:24Speaker 2: times they would tag Will Ferroll like oh you need
- 26:26Speaker 2: to be like this real pharaoh and talking about my
- 26:28Speaker 2: page because he got time to entertain everybody all day,
- 26:31Speaker 2: Like I need to grow my.
- 26:32Speaker 7: Followers, so I need to be entertaining.
- 26:34Speaker 2: I need to make sure I'm saying engaging things like
- 26:38Speaker 2: this is what I'm doing right now. So he ain't
- 26:40Speaker 2: got time for all that.
- 26:42Speaker 5: Let me take that, let me take that from me.
- 26:43Speaker 7: Yeah, I take that.
- 26:45Speaker 2: You ain't tripping anyway.
- 26:47Speaker 3: You also have one of the first viral videos about
- 26:51Speaker 3: that face.
- 26:53Speaker 2: Though yo, no, for us, that video was one of those.
- 26:59Speaker 2: So what this is?
- 27:00Speaker 7: This is how the video came about.
- 27:01Speaker 2: We was releasing a single and I've been running pretty
- 27:03Speaker 2: ricky social media since the very first time, even all
- 27:06Speaker 2: like when it was break we was number one, We
- 27:08Speaker 2: was number one page on my Space when my Space
- 27:12Speaker 2: was hot, like every single platform, I ran every page,
- 27:15Speaker 2: all the campaigns, everything, and when that video can We
- 27:20Speaker 2: just had came up with a song. So I started
- 27:22Speaker 2: thinking to myself. I was saying, all right, what is
- 27:23Speaker 2: the elements to make things go viral? One they have
- 27:26Speaker 2: to laugh, two U they have to cry a three
- 27:30Speaker 2: they have to relate, right, So if you touch any
- 27:32Speaker 2: of those points, it's gonna it has the viralbility on
- 27:37Speaker 2: taking off.
- 27:38Speaker 7: So I was like, okay, what's gonna make this shit go?
- 27:42Speaker 2: And I was like yo.
- 27:44Speaker 3: I was like.
- 27:46Speaker 2: I was with my girl and I was like, what
- 27:48Speaker 2: do you think about this? She was like, I don't know.
- 27:52Speaker 2: It's like, okay, they gonna talk crap regardless. Is the
- 27:56Speaker 2: music gonna get out there?
- 27:57Speaker 5: She was like yeah.
- 27:58Speaker 2: I was like I don't know that. I said let's
- 28:01Speaker 2: do it. I was like, I'm gonna just look like
- 28:03Speaker 2: I'm drunk as hell, and I'm gonna put on.
- 28:05Speaker 5: These red draws.
- 28:06Speaker 2: And the crazy thing is right, she the one who
- 28:09Speaker 2: brun the draw She's like, man, what.
- 28:11Speaker 5: You think about these?
- 28:12Speaker 2: I said, you like him? She said yeah.
- 28:16Speaker 7: I was like, if you like him, okay, let me
- 28:19Speaker 7: put them on.
- 28:20Speaker 2: And then nah.
- 28:24Speaker 7: But yeah, So like I made, I made a bro.
- 28:28Speaker 2: I made Oh, I made some money off of that
- 28:30Speaker 2: bro because I had everything set up for monetization. So
- 28:33Speaker 2: when it went viral, I had everything set up for it.
- 28:36Speaker 3: So how'd you make money off of that? Because I
- 28:38Speaker 3: see videos go viral, like I had a number on
- 28:40Speaker 3: the video, text me number. Yeah, it was a text number,
- 28:44Speaker 3: and then they text you and now they parted like
- 28:46Speaker 3: the click funnel systems, you know.
- 28:49Speaker 2: Yeah, stuff like that. And then we had we had
- 28:51Speaker 2: traffic too, so I was pulling. I was posting the
- 28:54Speaker 2: video and bringing traffic back to my pages. So it's
- 28:57Speaker 2: like one of the very first viral videos.
- 28:59Speaker 3: Ever before only fans, no viral. Only fans know what
- 29:07Speaker 3: I'm saying. This is like you're doing you put out
- 29:09Speaker 3: content like now it would be like on only fans
- 29:12Speaker 3: like that kind of content would be on only fans, right, right, right,
- 29:15Speaker 3: what I'm saying, So.
- 29:16Speaker 4: I mean, for those who don't know the video, you're
- 29:18Speaker 4: like dancing in red underwear and like to grind, grinding
- 29:22Speaker 4: me right.
- 29:23Speaker 2: It was a song came out with.
- 29:24Speaker 4: Yeah, I remember because it was at the same I
- 29:26Speaker 4: feel like it was like the same time, Like I
- 29:28Speaker 4: remember your video and I feel like Steph.
- 29:30Speaker 5: Was eating vasoline. Those two videos went viral a round
- 29:32Speaker 5: the same time.
- 29:33Speaker 4: I'm like, shout the staff, the internet is a game.
- 29:38Speaker 3: You had a jar of vascoline? Remember that ye had
- 29:40Speaker 3: a jar?
- 29:42Speaker 4: But it was like, yo, the internet is getting crazy
- 29:44Speaker 4: right now. But yeah, that's crazy. You made money off
- 29:46Speaker 4: then that's that. I didn't even think I made.
- 29:48Speaker 7: Am off that big m Well chokes on you.
- 29:53Speaker 5: It's not funny no more.
- 29:55Speaker 3: It's always it's always funny till it's not.
- 29:57Speaker 5: It's a fact.
- 29:58Speaker 3: So all right, So and that, at what point do
- 30:01Speaker 3: you actually start to develop the business to help celebrities
- 30:07Speaker 3: grow their page and monetize their page, because that happened
- 30:09Speaker 3: before you started helping regular business owners. You was helping celebrities, right.
- 30:13Speaker 2: Yeah, so it all came from me running those top
- 30:16Speaker 2: ten people pages on that website, my life dot Com,
- 30:19Speaker 2: and then I realized that, okay, well these people have
- 30:22Speaker 2: four hundred thousand follows a million followers. Like imagine if
- 30:26Speaker 2: you get Sojier Boy with five million followers. Sean Kingston
- 30:29Speaker 2: had like six million followers. So I'm like, okay, well,
- 30:32Speaker 2: if I get these people, they already have the following.
- 30:34Speaker 2: They don't know how to monetize it. Some will monetize
- 30:38Speaker 2: it form. So that's what I started doing. I started
- 30:41Speaker 2: coming to them like, yo, I'm gonna not only make
- 30:44Speaker 2: you this money every single month, but I took what
- 30:49Speaker 2: the music industry was and took from them and bring
- 30:53Speaker 2: it to another industry and create a blue Ocean strategy.
- 30:56Speaker 2: Because all the white boys with the suit and tires,
- 30:58Speaker 2: they'll just come there get the deal automatically, I sit
- 31:00Speaker 2: down with somebody like right, cool, cool, cool, and never
- 31:03Speaker 2: hit back from them, you know. So like I was
- 31:05Speaker 2: going through that so many times. So I started coming
- 31:08Speaker 2: with money. I was like, yo, let me take this
- 31:10Speaker 2: from this from this industry and take it to this
- 31:14Speaker 2: industry like the same thing. How I think, I don't
- 31:17Speaker 2: know if it was the restaurants, the restaurant industry seen
- 31:20Speaker 2: the bank industry seene No, the restaurant industry seeing the
- 31:23Speaker 2: drive throughs with the banks. And they took that and
- 31:26Speaker 2: they put it to the fast through restaurant industry and
- 31:29Speaker 2: put drive throughs. Now, I know which one in the reverse.
- 31:31Speaker 2: I don't know which one it was. But I took
- 31:33Speaker 2: the same model. I thought, thought of the same thing.
- 31:36Speaker 2: So I took that from the music industry.
- 31:38Speaker 3: Would you take you give them advances, give them.
- 31:41Speaker 2: And then I gave them minimums. And I was a
- 31:44Speaker 2: guaranteed minimums. So I would come to people with forty
- 31:47Speaker 2: thousand dollars, fifty thousand dollars, one hundred thousand dollars, one
- 31:50Speaker 2: hundred and fifty thousand dollars.
- 31:51Speaker 3: In a brown bag.
- 31:53Speaker 7: Brown bag the only way let's go.
- 31:56Speaker 5: So you're doing that to a celebrities. So you're walking up.
- 31:59Speaker 4: So let's say, like on Kingston Soldier boy like that. God,
- 32:03Speaker 4: let me handle your social media. Here's one hundred bands
- 32:05Speaker 4: up front.
- 32:06Speaker 3: Yeah, I'm gonna make it back. I'm gonna recoup this
- 32:08Speaker 3: on the back end.
- 32:09Speaker 5: And you did.
- 32:12Speaker 2: I recouped within the first all my advances based on
- 32:15Speaker 2: two months. So if I give you one hundred k.
- 32:18Speaker 2: I know I'm gonna make my one hundred k by
- 32:19Speaker 2: the second.
- 32:19Speaker 3: Month, good boy talk, But how was you making that
- 32:23Speaker 3: hundred k? Like, what was some of the It was the.
- 32:25Speaker 2: Same traffic acquisition, then mint video monetization, sponsor posts like
- 32:29Speaker 2: all that stuff started coming in and play.
- 32:31Speaker 5: What platforms are you using to help.
- 32:33Speaker 2: To right now?
- 32:34Speaker 7: So at that point, Facebook had just took off.
- 32:37Speaker 2: So it went from like it went from like three
- 32:40Speaker 2: k in a day to Facebook ten thousand dollars in
- 32:43Speaker 2: a day. Like it was just like Facebook was like
- 32:45Speaker 2: Viral's hell.
- 32:46Speaker 5: At the time, this is before Facebook ads.
- 32:50Speaker 2: This was not Facebook ads was out. They didn't like
- 32:52Speaker 2: what I was doing because they had Facebook Ads. They
- 32:55Speaker 2: figured a way to cut my water off.
- 32:56Speaker 4: What was the difference in what you were doing in
- 32:58Speaker 4: Facebook ads what.
- 33:00Speaker 2: I was doing. The only difference was you wasn't paying Facebook,
- 33:06Speaker 2: right they I was taking the advertising they were supposed
- 33:09Speaker 2: to get, so they didn't like that. And then we
- 33:12Speaker 2: was using things like clickbait and all that stuff. So
- 33:14Speaker 2: like they ain't like that either. They thought people was
- 33:16Speaker 2: feeling it because everybody was clicking on it. They thought
- 33:18Speaker 2: it was a great experience.
- 33:19Speaker 3: Of more so you was doing like those clickbick like
- 33:23Speaker 3: seven ways to know your girls cheating on you to
- 33:26Speaker 3: click that and then just by clicking that you get
- 33:28Speaker 3: paid because it goes to a different landing site.
- 33:32Speaker 2: And was killing.
- 33:33Speaker 3: That's like all those all those little ads. I don't really,
- 33:35Speaker 3: I don't. I'm not on Facebook too much these days,
- 33:37Speaker 3: but I remember, like randomly, I just see these ads
- 33:39Speaker 3: like seventeen ways to make a million dollars tomorrow, and
- 33:42Speaker 3: it's like, just even with the Donald Trump thing with Russia,
- 33:45Speaker 3: it was like they got out of control. I think
- 33:47Speaker 3: that's why Facebook kind of cracked down on those.
- 33:49Speaker 2: Yeah, that was that was one of the main reasons
- 33:52Speaker 2: they cracked down on on just privacy in general. Right,
- 33:56Speaker 2: But they didn't like what we was doing. They knew
- 33:58Speaker 2: how much money we was making. They even try to
- 34:00Speaker 2: create their own version of what we was making. It's
- 34:02Speaker 2: like they don't like me on their platform, like they
- 34:05Speaker 2: try to boop me off every time. So they created
- 34:07Speaker 2: something called instant articles to try to duplicate what I
- 34:10Speaker 2: was doing. So they create they tried to create instant
- 34:13Speaker 2: articles and flopped, so they just decided to just kick
- 34:16Speaker 2: us off like ill had were gonna suppress everything. I
- 34:18Speaker 2: got certain keywords so it don't end up in the feed,
- 34:21Speaker 2: so you don't get paid. So it don't matter if
- 34:22Speaker 2: you got ten million followers, you would never see it
- 34:25Speaker 2: in the feed because they were suppressing it. So we
- 34:27Speaker 2: don't make no money.
- 34:29Speaker 4: So I'm sure that the people that started looking at
- 34:33Speaker 4: you like, yeah, I don't that's that van sounds crazy.
- 34:35Speaker 5: You're a dude from Pretty Ricky ain't listening to you.
- 34:37Speaker 5: Oh how'd you deal with that? Man?
- 34:40Speaker 2: Listen? I would come to dudes with a hundred thousand
- 34:42Speaker 2: dollars check. I can't an econ one hundred thousand dollars check.
- 34:46Speaker 2: Sat down with them penthouse office in the whole top
- 34:49Speaker 2: of LA, had the meeting.
- 34:52Speaker 7: God my lawyer's drive up contracts.
- 34:55Speaker 2: White man took the deal. He ain't go with me.
- 35:00Speaker 7: How you going through the lawsuit with the person that
- 35:02Speaker 7: you went?
- 35:02Speaker 5: You ain't go with me.
- 35:03Speaker 7: I'm a one.
- 35:04Speaker 2: Not only I can help grow your following because that
- 35:06Speaker 2: was my expertise, then I help you monetize it. So
- 35:10Speaker 2: not only I take you, I get a client that
- 35:12Speaker 2: like a million followers before you look at it, they
- 35:14Speaker 2: got five million followers. I took Kevin gates from a
- 35:18Speaker 2: one point five million, So I think you got like
- 35:20Speaker 2: what ten million dollars an hours? I mean ten million followers. Now,
- 35:24Speaker 2: I think I took training from like like a million
- 35:27Speaker 2: to like ten million two like, so I took everybody
- 35:31Speaker 2: followers from like literally from here all the way to here.
- 35:34Speaker 7: So I knew what I was doing, but they didn't believe.
- 35:38Speaker 2: They didn't believe in me. They was just like, like
- 35:41Speaker 2: T I T, I ain't go with me. He still
- 35:43Speaker 2: ain't going with me to this day. You know what
- 35:45Speaker 2: I'm saying.
- 35:45Speaker 7: He went with the white man, and I don't know, man, it.
- 35:48Speaker 2: Was a lot of It was a lot of people.
- 35:50Speaker 2: Snoop dogg ain't go at me. They told me my
- 35:51Speaker 2: money wasn't even good enough. Like he told my money
- 35:54Speaker 2: wasn't big enough. I kep with one fifty to Snoop
- 35:56Speaker 2: that big boss talk of that. That boy was like,
- 35:59Speaker 2: ain't ain't enough. Oh damn.
- 36:05Speaker 3: You said. Blue ocean strategy. Can you talk about that
- 36:07Speaker 3: a little bit? What is a blue ocean strategy?
- 36:09Speaker 2: So blue ocean strategy is it's a strategy that makes
- 36:13Speaker 2: you stand out right. So it's like red ocean is
- 36:16Speaker 2: basically what everybody else is doing. Everybody else is gonna
- 36:20Speaker 2: come and they they're gonna tell me, like, hey, I'm
- 36:22Speaker 2: gonna get you signed. You know, I'm gonna sign you
- 36:24Speaker 2: to this contract, this exclusive agreement, like just to.
- 36:28Speaker 7: Norm what everybody does.
- 36:29Speaker 2: So I wanted to stand out, right, Blue Ocean is
- 36:32Speaker 2: basically coming at it at a different angle. That's basically innovative,
- 36:37Speaker 2: thinking outside the box in your own little niche. So
- 36:40Speaker 2: I stopped trying to like go against the white boys
- 36:42Speaker 2: with the suit and ties, because I know I couldn't
- 36:44Speaker 2: win that battle. Like nobody was taking me serious, you know,
- 36:47Speaker 2: And I was like, I come in even with money,
- 36:49Speaker 2: they wasn't taking me serious. They still be like, I
- 36:52Speaker 2: just go him, you know, because they just felt like
- 36:54Speaker 2: that was more comfortable. I guess, I don't know I
- 36:57Speaker 2: could talk to when y'all interview, but yeah, you didn't.
- 37:02Speaker 2: They didn't go with me and.
- 37:06Speaker 3: What you do and when nobody else you're not trying
- 37:08Speaker 3: to do what anybody else does.
- 37:12Speaker 7: Yeah, that's that was the game plan. How can I
- 37:14Speaker 7: be different?
- 37:15Speaker 2: How can I stand out and be different from whatever
- 37:17Speaker 2: everybody else doing. So that's why I decide to take
- 37:21Speaker 2: the advances from the music industry and put it inside
- 37:24Speaker 2: this industry that was Blue Ocean. They never seen nothing
- 37:26Speaker 2: like that before. They were like advances, So now they
- 37:29Speaker 2: couldn't go to nobody else without advances.
- 37:31Speaker 7: So I don'et switched the market.
- 37:33Speaker 2: But by the time they caught on, I didn't hit
- 37:35Speaker 2: everybody at one time, So I made as many meetings
- 37:38Speaker 2: as possible in one week, so I can hit everybody
- 37:41Speaker 2: and just sign everybody up. So even if they had
- 37:43Speaker 2: a contract with the White Boys, I come and say
- 37:45Speaker 2: how much you're making? Okay, I double what you making
- 37:48Speaker 2: and get a one hundred thousand dollars check what's up?
- 37:50Speaker 4: So at what point does the other side said, you
- 37:54Speaker 4: know what, I know what he's doing. Instead of that
- 37:57Speaker 4: one hundred thousand, we're going to take it up to
- 37:59Speaker 4: two hundred they price.
- 38:00Speaker 5: You out of that or how does that work?
- 38:01Speaker 2: So what happened was that the White boys decided to
- 38:06Speaker 2: try to beat me.
- 38:08Speaker 7: It's like who can get lower.
- 38:09Speaker 2: In price, So they start trying to outbid me. And
- 38:11Speaker 2: that's why they start going out of business because they
- 38:14Speaker 2: went to Akon like, YO, were gonna give you this
- 38:17Speaker 2: and we're gonna guarantee you this, and knew they couldn't
- 38:19Speaker 2: guarantee that. They did it to Kevin Hart too, they said, yo,
- 38:23Speaker 2: sign on contract guarantee. They tried to take my model,
- 38:26Speaker 2: but my model was so predictable because I know how
- 38:28Speaker 2: to grow the followers. The more followers you have, the
- 38:30Speaker 2: more money you can make. They didn't know that part.
- 38:33Speaker 2: They only knew the monetization piece. So they're trying to
- 38:35Speaker 2: compete with me, and they went out of business. They
- 38:37Speaker 2: went bankrupt.
- 38:40Speaker 5: Yeah, that sounds all about right. So what's the scale?
- 38:42Speaker 2: Then?
- 38:43Speaker 5: What's the scale?
- 38:43Speaker 4: So if we're thinking about, like you said, the more
- 38:45Speaker 4: followers you have, the more money you made, because I
- 38:47Speaker 4: saw this somewhere that was like, Yo, if you have
- 38:49Speaker 4: one hundred thousand followers, you should be able to make
- 38:50Speaker 4: a hundred thousand dollars.
- 38:52Speaker 5: Is there a specific scale that you use or that
- 38:54Speaker 5: one that's out there?
- 38:55Speaker 2: It fluctuates so much now and the strategies are so
- 38:58Speaker 2: different now, So it's not like it's not like it
- 39:02Speaker 2: was before. Before it was like that, but all these
- 39:05Speaker 2: algorithm changes in the way that they're suppressing certain things.
- 39:09Speaker 2: If you say certain things, they they only want them,
- 39:14Speaker 2: they only want one hundred percent them, Like it's to
- 39:16Speaker 2: the point, if you think something, you will see a
- 39:18Speaker 2: pop up on your feet. Yes, they read minds now,
- 39:21Speaker 2: but nobody want to believe me. We don't. Nobody want
- 39:23Speaker 2: to have this conversation.
- 39:25Speaker 5: We're not seeing that. I don't see that.
- 39:26Speaker 4: Like I'll think something and it'll be like the adult
- 39:29Speaker 4: be right there and I'm like, no, this is crazy.
- 39:32Speaker 5: It doesn't even make no sense.
- 39:33Speaker 2: Yeah, but nobody everybody's in the now. But yeah, they didn't.
- 39:35Speaker 3: They don't capitalize, and they got and they got rooms,
- 39:39Speaker 3: taps and bone because I never forget. I was on
- 39:41Speaker 3: I was talking to somebody or I have a Sprint
- 39:44Speaker 3: phone and it had like a Nokia laptop, Like it
- 39:48Speaker 3: wasn't related. I was having a conversation with somebody on
- 39:51Speaker 3: my phone and I go on my laptop and what
- 39:54Speaker 3: I was talking about on my phone was the first
- 39:56Speaker 3: thing that popped up on a Google searching the laptop.
- 39:59Speaker 3: But it's not like I had an Apple phone with
- 40:00Speaker 3: an Apple computer, like you know what I'm saying. Had
- 40:02Speaker 3: an Apple phone and then Nokia laptop with Sprint service
- 40:06Speaker 3: on my phone, So it's nothing related to that. Unless
- 40:10Speaker 3: they're sharing information with each other as a company. They
- 40:13Speaker 3: do that too. Yeah, they have to because it's like
- 40:15Speaker 3: either that or they have the device bugged, because I mean,
- 40:19Speaker 3: I don't know how else are they gonna do that.
- 40:21Speaker 2: Was you on your did you have your social media
- 40:23Speaker 2: on that app on that phone?
- 40:25Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 40:25Speaker 2: Yeah, that's why. So like when you when you agree
- 40:27Speaker 2: to terms in service, they're taking that mic. You put
- 40:30Speaker 2: your mic on when you use the social channel, they're
- 40:33Speaker 2: using that when you're having a conversation.
- 40:35Speaker 5: M m.
- 40:35Speaker 2: That's how they're getting you.
- 40:36Speaker 5: That's crazy.
- 40:37Speaker 4: I think I was at work and I was talking
- 40:39Speaker 4: about like a new dryer and I promise you like
- 40:42Speaker 4: I had a dryer ad like on my Google on
- 40:45Speaker 4: my Instagram. I'm like, yo, Actually it wasn't even me,
- 40:48Speaker 4: it was my coworker was talking about it and it
- 40:50Speaker 4: popped up. I'm just like, yo, this doesn't even make
- 40:51Speaker 4: no sense, Like, yo, are they How are they're reading it?
- 40:54Speaker 4: But obviously it must be the mic must be the
- 40:55Speaker 4: mic read those terms of services.
- 40:57Speaker 7: Yeah, that's but that's why you got to use it. See,
- 40:59Speaker 7: I use it for my advantage.
- 41:00Speaker 2: When I want some I just talk to my phone
- 41:02Speaker 2: and I get the ad thank you boom, and I
- 41:04Speaker 2: buy it.
- 41:07Speaker 5: Why just let them use you?
- 41:08Speaker 2: I use them like Yo, okay, I'm looking for a raife.
- 41:12Speaker 2: I want to boom and pop up.
- 41:14Speaker 5: Thank you, I buy it, and I need a private jet. Yeah,
- 41:18Speaker 5: thanks guys.
- 41:20Speaker 2: No for real, right y'all playing, I'm telling you everything
- 41:23Speaker 2: you want to say it to your phone, they're delivered
- 41:25Speaker 2: to you. Got a little searching for it.
- 41:26Speaker 3: So let's let's talk about what's relevant now in twenty
- 41:28Speaker 3: twenty one because the vast majority of people in the world,
- 41:31Speaker 3: and people are listen if they're not celebrities, that just
- 41:33Speaker 3: you know, people that's trying to grow their social media file,
- 41:35Speaker 3: and people a trying to monetize, and they they might
- 41:37Speaker 3: not fully understand everything that's going on because everything changes
- 41:39Speaker 3: so quickly. So the first question I have for you
- 41:41Speaker 3: before IM gonna ask you a couple of questions about
- 41:44Speaker 3: ads and stuff like that. But I heard Apple Facebook
- 41:50Speaker 3: is changing their their ads now because Apple's not sharing
- 41:55Speaker 3: information anymore. So can you talk about that a little bit?
- 41:58Speaker 2: Yeah? I don't ready know much about about it, man.
- 42:00Speaker 2: I know that's been something that's been floating around the
- 42:05Speaker 2: digital marketing space and everybody's like trying to figure it out.
- 42:09Speaker 2: But man, I'm still here because I figure it out
- 42:11Speaker 2: every time. Every single competitor I ever had in history
- 42:16Speaker 2: is bankrupt. Still here, I'm never going nowhere ever, come out,
- 42:22Speaker 2: whatever update you want to come up with, I'm gonna
- 42:25Speaker 2: figure out a way around it, because that's just how
- 42:27Speaker 2: my mind works. So it haven't came yet, so it
- 42:30Speaker 2: haven't been on my radar. So once it like literally
- 42:34Speaker 2: is in my face, I'm gonna just figure out a
- 42:35Speaker 2: way and just make it happen. So I really don't
- 42:38Speaker 2: know much about the update, but to my knowledge, just
- 42:40Speaker 2: to expound on what you're talking about, is that they're
- 42:44Speaker 2: basically letting people block the cookies or the ips or
- 42:49Speaker 2: the pixels and everything. When you go to different websites,
- 42:51Speaker 2: like you can choose like, oh no, I don't want
- 42:54Speaker 2: this person advertising to me. That's devastating.
- 42:58Speaker 3: That's like a Facebook pixels. So what's Facebook pixels?
- 43:01Speaker 2: Yeah? So Facebook pixel is equivalent to somebody coming into
- 43:05Speaker 2: your store of your store owner, right, and you got
- 43:07Speaker 2: a pixel on your store. Right. Somebody comes in shop
- 43:11Speaker 2: or don't shop, just come windows shop, and then they
- 43:15Speaker 2: leave and you slap a GPS on their back and
- 43:17Speaker 2: now wherever they go, you're putting freaking billboards in front
- 43:22Speaker 2: of them. They stop at the light, look to the left, spectaclar. Hey,
- 43:25Speaker 2: all right, they go, they drive, they go to the
- 43:29Speaker 2: you know, McDonald's. They ad to drive through. They look
- 43:31Speaker 2: up spectacular, buy my shit. Hey, what's up, bro? You
- 43:35Speaker 2: know you see me? Boom you go again, like you
- 43:37Speaker 2: pull up home And when you look to the right,
- 43:39Speaker 2: your neighbor got a billboard on the top. Hey up here,
- 43:42Speaker 2: buy my shit. Right, And that's how that's how pixel is.
- 43:45Speaker 2: It follows you every single where you go. So no
- 43:48Speaker 2: matter where you go, you're gonna keep running to my act.
- 43:51Speaker 2: So if everybody, once you guys go to my page
- 43:53Speaker 2: to be nosy, I'm gonna follow you all right until
- 43:56Speaker 2: you buy my shit.
- 43:58Speaker 5: So once that first click, I'm done.
- 44:00Speaker 2: Once you once you on there, you they call it
- 44:03Speaker 2: pixel hell.
- 44:04Speaker 3: It's like the jaws of life. They can they're not
- 44:06Speaker 3: gonna let you go.
- 44:07Speaker 2: And then you just got to buy for me. Once
- 44:09Speaker 2: you buy for me, just buy something small, that's all,
- 44:11Speaker 2: and I leave alone.
- 44:12Speaker 3: But then, but then even if you don't buy, you
- 44:15Speaker 3: go to there's a thing called retargeting ads, right, but but.
- 44:18Speaker 2: You remove and retarget, So when you retarget somebody, you
- 44:22Speaker 2: only retarget people didn't buy.
- 44:23Speaker 3: That's what I'm saying, Like, if you if you talk
- 44:24Speaker 3: about what are retargeting as, because the best retarget I've
- 44:27Speaker 3: ever seen is Neo Davis shout out to man, I
- 44:30Speaker 3: made the mistake of going to his page one time
- 44:32Speaker 3: and not actually I just wanted to see. I just
- 44:33Speaker 3: wanted to see what's going on. He's like, hey, gosh,
- 44:36Speaker 3: this is the last off Ron, so you took im. Like, yo,
- 44:41Speaker 3: I feel like this is my man, Like I know
- 44:43Speaker 3: him personally, I'm gonna buy your joint, just I don't
- 44:45Speaker 3: really know what's going on. So but then he actually
- 44:48Speaker 3: introduced me, not knowingly to retargeting ads, and that I'm like, okay,
- 44:53Speaker 3: cause I'm like, yo, how is it? How did he
- 44:54Speaker 3: know what's what's retargeting ads? So retargeting his base shout
- 44:59Speaker 3: out to.
- 45:00Speaker 2: Basically, retargeting is when somebody comes to your landing page,
- 45:05Speaker 2: your website and you have a pixel on it. All right.
- 45:08Speaker 2: You can literally go and google how to set up
- 45:10Speaker 2: a pixel. It literally takes like five minutes to set
- 45:12Speaker 2: it up. You put your pixel on there. So everybody
- 45:15Speaker 2: that comes to your website, when they come to your website,
- 45:18Speaker 2: now you know they've been to your website. They have
- 45:21Speaker 2: the GPS on their back. So retargeting is really to
- 45:25Speaker 2: get those people back to your website because the hardest
- 45:28Speaker 2: where most of you the money come from an advertisement
- 45:32Speaker 2: is getting somebody to know about you. That's where all
- 45:35Speaker 2: the money comes in at. That's called top of funnel, right,
- 45:38Speaker 2: getting somebody to know who earned your leader is. Once
- 45:41Speaker 2: they know who earned your leader is, now that's when
- 45:44Speaker 2: they become retard. They in the retargeting bucket. Now, right,
- 45:48Speaker 2: that's called middle of funnel. So now that's middle of funnel.
- 45:51Speaker 2: And now once you have them in the middle of funnel,
- 45:54Speaker 2: that's where the majority of your money is going to
- 45:56Speaker 2: come from. So when you get them to know about you,
- 46:02Speaker 2: they transfer into the middle of the funnel bucket. Now it.
- 46:08Speaker 7: Lowers the CPM and the CPL.
- 46:11Speaker 2: Which is cost per lead drastically because they already know
- 46:15Speaker 2: who you are. It's a warm audience, they already know
- 46:18Speaker 2: who you are. So this is the equivalent. So you
- 46:20Speaker 2: have one hundred thousand people I'm targeting. Out of those
- 46:23Speaker 2: hundred thousand people, you're going to get a percentage that
- 46:25Speaker 2: actually take action, let's say twenty percent. So they got
- 46:27Speaker 2: twenty thousand people out of those twenty thousand people that
- 46:30Speaker 2: take action. The next step is now those twenty thousand
- 46:34Speaker 2: people is in a retargeting bucket, which is the middle
- 46:36Speaker 2: funnel bucket. So now that they're in a retargeting bucket,
- 46:40Speaker 2: the next step is hitting all of them with advertisements.
- 46:43Speaker 2: So now you're not you're not targeting one hundred thousand
- 46:45Speaker 2: people and on again twenty people. You're literally targeting the
- 46:48Speaker 2: twenty thousand people that already took action to know about you.
- 46:52Speaker 2: So it gets cheaper now because you don't need to
- 46:54Speaker 2: hitt one hundred thousand to get twenty thousand actions. You
- 46:57Speaker 2: in twenty thousand people to get twenty thousand actions. It
- 47:00Speaker 2: cuts the price literally significantly. So that's the money. And
- 47:05Speaker 2: then once they go to a bottom of funnel. Bottom
- 47:07Speaker 2: of funnel is the people that tried to check out,
- 47:09Speaker 2: like oh, they checked out and they went to your
- 47:11Speaker 2: sales page, but they didn't purchase, but they really window
- 47:15Speaker 2: shop and they picking stuff up, trying it on. They're
- 47:18Speaker 2: going in the direction room like they serious.
- 47:20Speaker 7: They just need that push.
- 47:21Speaker 5: Gotta finish the race, Yeah, you gotta.
- 47:23Speaker 2: You gotta finish the race, right, So now the bottom
- 47:26Speaker 2: of funnel is well all of them. Like that's what
- 47:28Speaker 2: like the ro ol net, which means return on investment
- 47:31Speaker 2: is through the roof because they just need that. They
- 47:34Speaker 2: just need that extra kick. Right. People believe in threes,
- 47:38Speaker 2: so if you hit somebody three times, they feel like
- 47:41Speaker 2: it's a sign from God, like, yo, I need to
- 47:44Speaker 2: buy this because evidently this is a sign right now. Right,
- 47:48Speaker 2: It's like it's coming. And then with advertisement it comes
- 47:50Speaker 2: at the right time for people, right, and then it
- 47:53Speaker 2: might be I mean it might be God right truthfully,
- 47:55Speaker 2: all right, just keep it in real so you.
- 47:58Speaker 7: Might get it at the right time. And it's just
- 48:01Speaker 7: a reminder.
- 48:01Speaker 2: Because like even me when I buy stuff, I'd be
- 48:04Speaker 2: so busy I want to buy something, and then like
- 48:06Speaker 2: something happened, I get the little shiny like the squirrel syndromes,
- 48:10Speaker 2: like oh I totally forgot what I was doing, and
- 48:12Speaker 2: then to add a pop back up, that's the retarget
- 48:14Speaker 2: that I was going to buy it I forgot and not.
- 48:16Speaker 2: The ad is just remind us reminders. So if you
- 48:19Speaker 2: needed money, or you was waiting for money, or like
- 48:22Speaker 2: you want to wait for the white time, or that's
- 48:24Speaker 2: when the ass keep reminding you, keep reminding you. So
- 48:26Speaker 2: because you in that bucket, like you right at the edge,
- 48:29Speaker 2: you're right at the finish line. So I just need
- 48:31Speaker 2: to take you across the finish line gets rid of resistance.
- 48:35Speaker 2: I heard Charlott Mane.
- 48:36Speaker 4: Of God say, yep, well, what what type of budget
- 48:41Speaker 4: do we need to be in this this space right?
- 48:44Speaker 4: Because this just sounds like it cost a lot of
- 48:46Speaker 4: money or maybe it doesn't. What type of money do
- 48:48Speaker 4: we need?
- 48:48Speaker 1: Man?
- 48:48Speaker 2: All you got to do is start off five dollars
- 48:50Speaker 2: a day, five dollars a day, five dollars a day.
- 48:53Speaker 2: I do all my test budgets. That's five to ten
- 48:55Speaker 2: dollars a day.
- 48:57Speaker 5: Okay, so what do you what is it? What's the test?
- 48:59Speaker 4: So the test budgets, Like, let me just put it out.
- 49:00Speaker 4: If I get a response from it, I'll add some more.
- 49:03Speaker 2: Yeah. This is the beautiful thing about Facebook ads and
- 49:06Speaker 2: Instagram ads and YouTube ads. You get a billboard, you
- 49:11Speaker 2: pay thirty grand for that billboard. It has to stay
- 49:13Speaker 2: up for thirty days if it bring in traffic, if
- 49:16Speaker 2: it don't bring in traffic, And it's all like random people,
- 49:20Speaker 2: but you you know the demographic. You know who's driving
- 49:25Speaker 2: past that actual highway. But you stuck with that and
- 49:30Speaker 2: Facebook ads. You got all these mini billboards and if
- 49:33Speaker 2: that billboard ain't bringing in traffic, you cut it off.
- 49:35Speaker 2: No more billboard, get out of here, all right, boom,
- 49:37Speaker 2: you test this out, all right? That billboard got you know,
- 49:40Speaker 2: some traffic, all right. So we got billboard in Miami.
- 49:43Speaker 2: We got a billboard in New York. We got a
- 49:45Speaker 2: billboard and Los Angeles, Los Angeles flop.
- 49:48Speaker 7: That billboard ain't do good. Cut that off all right.
- 49:51Speaker 2: Miami that did good. New York that flopped. So guess what.
- 49:54Speaker 2: We about to take Miami billboard and we about to
- 49:56Speaker 2: put it on every single place we know. It's about
- 49:58Speaker 2: to be in every single corner in Miami because that's
- 50:01Speaker 2: where it's making the money at. So it's gonna be
- 50:03Speaker 2: in wind Wood's gonna be in Brickle, it's gonna be
- 50:05Speaker 2: in South Beach, it's gonna be in the Hood. It's
- 50:06Speaker 2: gonna be everywhere because that's where the money coming from.
- 50:09Speaker 2: So we shut off everything that wasn't working, and now
- 50:12Speaker 2: we're only putting it in spots that is working. But
- 50:14Speaker 2: all you need is little micro budgets. That's only five
- 50:17Speaker 2: dollars a day. That's gonna show you where the winner is.
- 50:21Speaker 2: And once you find a winner, then you just freaking
- 50:24Speaker 2: go crazy and scale up in that market.
- 50:26Speaker 5: So you can do it about audience.
- 50:27Speaker 4: So if I know that I have a large following
- 50:29Speaker 4: in New York City, or if I have a large
- 50:31Speaker 4: audience in Chicago, I can target the ads just for
- 50:33Speaker 4: that city.
- 50:34Speaker 2: Yeah, you can. You can do it. You can do
- 50:37Speaker 2: mile radiuses too. So if you have a restaurant. Let's
- 50:40Speaker 2: say you got a restaurant and you gotta get people
- 50:42Speaker 2: to your restaurant, you can literally like just do twenty.
- 50:46Speaker 2: You can put your address in and then you can
- 50:48Speaker 2: target people twenty earners.
- 50:50Speaker 5: What's up?

- 53:38Speaker 2: You need, find moles within that radius and target your
- 53:41Speaker 2: specific ad to those people, and then you can put
- 53:44Speaker 2: different interests. So like if I had a music store
- 53:47Speaker 2: and I was only selling pretty Ricky music, I can
- 53:49Speaker 2: literally target Trey Songz fans, Chris Brown fans, Riyonna fans, right,
- 53:55Speaker 2: because it's a similar affinity. So once you have that
- 53:58Speaker 2: similar affinity, nine out of ten, if they like you,
- 54:00Speaker 2: they're gonna end up liking you, right, And you just
- 54:03Speaker 2: got to find out who's your competitors with the same
- 54:05Speaker 2: type of affinity, and those are the people that you
- 54:08Speaker 2: market to. But the game changes when you get your
- 54:12Speaker 2: first hundred customers. When you get your first hundred customers,
- 54:16Speaker 2: that's when you create what they call a lookalike audience.
- 54:18Speaker 2: So Facebook and the reason why they're getting so advanced
- 54:23Speaker 2: even with like the app Clubhouse, is because now you
- 54:27Speaker 2: know what people like. And while you knowing what people like,
- 54:30Speaker 2: you can put together those different interests and then you
- 54:34Speaker 2: can create a DNA of what your customer avatar looks
- 54:37Speaker 2: like based on what Facebook puts together. So if your
- 54:41Speaker 2: top one hundred customers like Earn your Leisure Spectacular and
- 54:47Speaker 2: Pretty Ricky nine out of ten, if that person that
- 54:50Speaker 2: like those three things purchase your stuff, they're gonna find
- 54:54Speaker 2: millions of other people that like Earn Your Leisure Spectacular
- 54:56Speaker 2: and Pretty Ricky, and they gonna put your advatar has
- 55:00Speaker 2: been right in front of them, and they're gonna buy your.
- 55:02Speaker 5: Shit Daniels in mine.
- 55:06Speaker 3: So that's the lookalike.
- 55:07Speaker 7: That's the lookalike audience.
- 55:09Speaker 2: And you want to do lookalikes based on one percent,
- 55:10Speaker 2: you want to split it up one percent, one percent
- 55:13Speaker 2: of two percent, two percent of three percent, and you
- 55:15Speaker 2: three percent to four percent all the way to ten percent,
- 55:17Speaker 2: and want to split them all up in different buckets
- 55:19Speaker 2: and see which one resonates the most with your message
- 55:22Speaker 2: when you're doing the Facebook ads.
- 55:25Speaker 3: And you can also hurt yourself by trying to spend
- 55:26Speaker 3: too much money. I've heard right, as long as you quickly.
- 55:30Speaker 2: Like now, as long as you're testing the budget first,
- 55:33Speaker 2: you want to test the budget. Like if you take
- 55:35Speaker 2: five dollars and you put them in assets, is basically
- 55:38Speaker 2: like a billboard. So put them in assets. So you
- 55:41Speaker 2: do ten different like let's say one hundred different assets
- 55:44Speaker 2: for five dollars.
- 55:46Speaker 4: AD sets or ad cens AD sets, so set, so
- 55:50Speaker 4: AD set.
- 55:51Speaker 2: So basically you put let's just say easy map, just
- 55:54Speaker 2: say ten. Right, you got ten, and you're doing five
- 55:56Speaker 2: dollars fifty dollars, So you're doing fifty dollars a day,
- 55:59Speaker 2: and that fifty dollars this day's gonna take three to
- 56:01Speaker 2: four days to know if it's profitable or not.
- 56:03Speaker 7: Three or four days. Anything before that is premature.
- 56:05Speaker 2: So now you have those assets that's going out, and
- 56:09Speaker 2: then it's gonna work as magic. And then you see
- 56:12Speaker 2: which one gotta sell, which one didn't get a sell.
- 56:14Speaker 2: The ones that gotta sell, you keep that going. The
- 56:17Speaker 2: ones didn't get a sell, you cut those off. The
- 56:19Speaker 2: ones that did get a sell, you duplicate those out,
- 56:23Speaker 2: and now you scale horizontally. Now you put five dollars
- 56:25Speaker 2: times ten, so now you got five dollars times ten.
- 56:29Speaker 2: Now you that same fifty dollars got cut off what
- 56:32Speaker 2: didn't work, and now it's going directly to what did work.
- 56:35Speaker 2: And now you're building that out, scaling horizontally, and then
- 56:38Speaker 2: you just change little things on it so it's not
- 56:40Speaker 2: competing with this thing. Like you might change the audience
- 56:43Speaker 2: on each one of them. So you're doing the same
- 56:45Speaker 2: as an ad that worked, and now you're switching the
- 56:47Speaker 2: audiences that have similar affinities.
- 56:50Speaker 3: What do you say, because I heard you on clubhouse
- 56:52Speaker 3: talking and it's I guess it's two different people that
- 56:56Speaker 3: I see on social media. I see people like yourself,
- 57:00Speaker 3: people like Maddy J. I didn't even know what Maddy J. Did.
- 57:03Speaker 3: If I didn't know him, I wouldn't even know he's
- 57:05Speaker 3: in Toro. You don't sell from your page, then you
- 57:08Speaker 3: have the Derek Graces of the world, then Excess of
- 57:11Speaker 3: the world with they saw a lot from their page.
- 57:14Speaker 3: So why don't you sell from like your page? And
- 57:18Speaker 3: what's your philosophy on selling from a page versus not
- 57:22Speaker 3: selling from a page? Or is a mixture of both appropriate?
- 57:26Speaker 2: Yeah, So I don't sell from my page because I
- 57:31Speaker 2: truly believe that the Facing Ford is like the show,
- 57:39Speaker 2: like I'm not selling you nothing.
- 57:41Speaker 3: And just selling from your page. I mean like actually,
- 57:44Speaker 3: like I put up a post selling in the post,
- 57:47Speaker 3: promoting my product in the actual post.
- 57:49Speaker 2: Right right, And Derek Graci freaking kills it.
- 57:53Speaker 7: Those boys kill it doing that.
- 57:55Speaker 2: They hit you with the scarcity model. And the crazy
- 57:58Speaker 2: thing is, I know what he's doing, but he does
- 57:59Speaker 2: it so good, like believable every single time. It's like, Yo,
- 58:03Speaker 2: I'm just letting you know, you know, like it's gonna.
- 58:07Speaker 5: Go up shout to the whole b W.
- 58:12Speaker 2: So some boys really, Yeah, they.
- 58:17Speaker 5: Yo, this is it after this, it's not coming back.
- 58:20Speaker 2: So like they understand the scarcity model and all that.
- 58:23Speaker 2: But for me, I'm a strong believer in like building
- 58:26Speaker 2: the brand up front and then sell on the back end.
- 58:29Speaker 2: So like me selling you on an ad, like you
- 58:31Speaker 2: cool with that, but you know, me hitting you in
- 58:34Speaker 2: the front end, like that's just not really my thing.
- 58:37Speaker 3: Wrong way diminishes the value a little bit. I think
- 58:39Speaker 3: it's it's a thin line because if you throw it
- 58:41Speaker 3: too much, you kind of diminished the value your page.
- 58:44Speaker 3: Then your page just becomes a sales page exactly.
- 58:46Speaker 7: And that's just the last thing I want.
- 58:48Speaker 2: So I just want to be forward facing, just showing
- 58:51Speaker 2: my value up front and and let people know, like
- 58:55Speaker 2: to paint the story for them up front, and every
- 58:58Speaker 2: now and then I might hit them with a little
- 58:59Speaker 2: caller for like a holiday or something, but it'd be
- 59:02Speaker 2: in the caption. It wouldn't be like a straight up like, yo,
- 59:04Speaker 2: here goes to sell. You know what I'm saying, Like,
- 59:07Speaker 2: that's just not what I do right And like I said,
- 59:10Speaker 2: it's no right or.
- 59:11Speaker 7: Wrong way to do it.
- 59:11Speaker 2: That's just like how I ra I would rather just
- 59:14Speaker 2: hit you on the advertisement tip and position it in
- 59:18Speaker 2: a way where it's not going to turn off my audience,
- 59:20Speaker 2: but I'm gonna still hit you on the back end
- 59:22Speaker 2: down your feed.
- 59:23Speaker 3: And I think it's important for people to be knowledgeable
- 59:25Speaker 3: with everything because I think there's no right or wrong,
- 59:27Speaker 3: like you said, because you can make money and eat
- 59:28Speaker 3: a scenario, but you got to know your personality, like
- 59:31Speaker 3: for us, for me, I run on social media, I
- 59:34Speaker 3: personally just don't feel comfortable doing that. I just don't.
- 59:37Speaker 3: I don't like to do it, like you know what
- 59:38Speaker 3: I'm saying, Like every now and then, like you said,
- 59:40Speaker 3: we might post a fly or something like that, but
- 59:41Speaker 3: it just feel more comfortable selling on the back end
- 59:44Speaker 3: and just adding value up front. And it just feels
- 59:47Speaker 3: better for me. But somebody else might feel completely comfortable
- 59:50Speaker 3: with selling on like And I asked Derek, I'm like,
- 59:52Speaker 3: why you don't run Facebook ads? And He's like, I
- 59:54Speaker 3: just don't trust Facebook. And I don't want to give
- 59:55Speaker 3: him no money. It's working out for him, but he's
- 59:58Speaker 3: it's a lot of leg work. Man.
- 1:00:00Speaker 2: Listen, man, that boy ran Facebook ads, he would be
- 1:00:03Speaker 2: up like three four million a month.
- 1:00:07Speaker 8: Easy.
- 1:00:08Speaker 3: Yeah, Like I'm telling like, because easy there's too much
- 1:00:12Speaker 3: legwork just doing everything.
- 1:00:13Speaker 2: Not only I'm just saying the data that he already accumulated.
- 1:00:17Speaker 2: He accumulated the data to create those looking like audience,
- 1:00:20Speaker 2: to literally put as many advertisements in front as many
- 1:00:24Speaker 2: people that will buy his stuff, that's ready to buy
- 1:00:26Speaker 2: his stuff. And literally he can take is he can
- 1:00:29Speaker 2: go in his analytics and he can go to his
- 1:00:31Speaker 2: video content and see what got the most website clicks.
- 1:00:34Speaker 2: And that's what's going to make people click your website.
- 1:00:36Speaker 2: That's what's making people take action on your page and
- 1:00:39Speaker 2: click a link. Take that video and make that video
- 1:00:42Speaker 2: the actual advertisement, put the copy in there, and literally
- 1:00:46Speaker 2: hit every last person on your page, because with your algorithm,
- 1:00:50Speaker 2: you're only hitting three to four percent five percent of
- 1:00:52Speaker 2: you lucky of your fan base, the average is like
- 1:00:55Speaker 2: two percent.
- 1:00:57Speaker 5: Every time I did the math on it's like less
- 1:00:58Speaker 5: than one percent.
- 1:00:59Speaker 2: Let's than one percent. So once you literally grab all
- 1:01:03Speaker 2: your audience the most engaged in the last one hundred
- 1:01:07Speaker 2: and eighty days, because you can't go past that and
- 1:01:10Speaker 2: for your for your engagement, and hit every last one
- 1:01:14Speaker 2: of those. And then after you hit every last one
- 1:01:16Speaker 2: of those, then the next thing you do, you you
- 1:01:19Speaker 2: create a lookalike audience and then do a three hundred
- 1:01:21Speaker 2: and sixty five days lookalike audience. Now you find people
- 1:01:24Speaker 2: that not only will that looks similar to the people
- 1:01:28Speaker 2: that follow you, but people people are actually gonna buy
- 1:01:32Speaker 2: your shit, and at the same time, they're gonna follow
- 1:01:35Speaker 2: your page new followers. So you're getting the awareness, get
- 1:01:39Speaker 2: the attension, and then once you get the attention, then
- 1:01:42Speaker 2: you're gonna get the followers the followship at the same time,
- 1:01:45Speaker 2: like all of that stuff is gonna like yo here
- 1:01:47Speaker 2: leaving so much money on the tent.
- 1:01:49Speaker 4: So that's on Facebook, right, But have you mastered the
- 1:01:52Speaker 4: same strategy for YouTube as well, because that's a billion.
- 1:01:56Speaker 2: Yeah, YouTube, Like I spend I spend six figures a
- 1:01:58Speaker 2: month on YouTube at.
- 1:02:00Speaker 5: So it's the same trategy, or it's a little different.
- 1:02:02Speaker 2: It's a little different. It's a little different, but they
- 1:02:05Speaker 2: have the same thing. There's it's called similar audiences and
- 1:02:09Speaker 2: that's their version of looking like audience. And with YouTube,
- 1:02:14Speaker 2: the first I think is the first five seconds. If
- 1:02:19Speaker 2: somebody clicks off of that in the first five seconds,
- 1:02:22Speaker 2: it doesn't even count costs, no costs, So you got
- 1:02:27Speaker 2: to try to get whoever you gotta trick them to like,
- 1:02:30Speaker 2: you gotta literally the laser on what your offer is
- 1:02:33Speaker 2: in the first five seconds, so they can leave if
- 1:02:35Speaker 2: they don't want so you ain't got to pay for that.
- 1:02:37Speaker 2: But if they if you hit them straight with your offer,
- 1:02:40Speaker 2: like if you whatever, your your your your hookie is
- 1:02:43Speaker 2: at the beginning, it gotta make sense to keep that person,
- 1:02:47Speaker 2: keep that person going, and push away to people that
- 1:02:50Speaker 2: ain't rocking with you in that message. So you ain't
- 1:02:52Speaker 2: got to pay for that.
- 1:02:53Speaker 3: What would you say to people that small business owners
- 1:02:56Speaker 3: that haven't really thought about advertising online. They might feel
- 1:03:00Speaker 3: like that business is too small to advertise online and
- 1:03:03Speaker 3: not they're not a social media influencer. They're not, you know,
- 1:03:07Speaker 3: making a one hundred thousand and a million dollars five
- 1:03:08Speaker 3: hundred thousand dollars a month. What would you say to
- 1:03:11Speaker 3: those people?
- 1:03:12Speaker 2: That's easy. I would build I would build the brand up.
- 1:03:16Speaker 2: If if you're a person well, I always like to
- 1:03:18Speaker 2: leave with the personality personal brand. But if you're an
- 1:03:21Speaker 2: introvert and you feel like, nah, I don't want to
- 1:03:24Speaker 2: do that spect then you can create a great company logo.
- 1:03:27Speaker 2: You go to Canva dot com c A n V
- 1:03:30Speaker 2: a dot com. Go create a logo from there, create
- 1:03:33Speaker 2: a dope logo. Right, build out the content on the page.
- 1:03:38Speaker 2: Nine pieces of content. Right, this is from you. Start
- 1:03:41Speaker 2: from scratch and build out the nine pieces of content.
- 1:03:44Speaker 2: I would do either shout out or a giveaway. I'll
- 1:03:47Speaker 2: do a giveaway and have a have my you can
- 1:03:50Speaker 2: have you have your friends and family, like give away
- 1:03:52Speaker 2: some fifty dollars cash shop. You know, go create a
- 1:03:55Speaker 2: page and say hey, go follow my company page. Right,
- 1:03:59Speaker 2: follow my company page and get a chance to win
- 1:04:01Speaker 2: fifty dollars. Have all your besties posted at one time.
- 1:04:04Speaker 2: Everybody tag three people, tag three people, go follow this
- 1:04:08Speaker 2: page right here.
- 1:04:09Speaker 5: It just just have just.
- 1:04:11Speaker 2: The people, you know, give a fifty dollars giveaway, get
- 1:04:13Speaker 2: a chance to win fifty and that's gonna shoot it
- 1:04:15Speaker 2: up like three four, five hundred followers, one thousand followers.
- 1:04:18Speaker 2: I would do hashtags, and I would go to best
- 1:04:21Speaker 2: hashtag dot com.
- 1:04:23Speaker 7: Go figure out whatever's in your niche.
- 1:04:24Speaker 2: Every time you post directly posted in your comments, you'll
- 1:04:28Speaker 2: get more reached for that. So when you post hashtags,
- 1:04:30Speaker 2: it's people following hashtags. So you got millions of people
- 1:04:33Speaker 2: following hashtags. So when my best dash hashtags dot com.
- 1:04:37Speaker 2: It has the top follow hashtags in that niche so
- 1:04:40Speaker 2: put one keyword. They go follow the best freaking hashtag
- 1:04:43Speaker 2: with the most people following them. So now that's going
- 1:04:46Speaker 2: to grow your page like at least like one hundred
- 1:04:48Speaker 2: two hundred followers a week. And once you do that
- 1:04:51Speaker 2: for like a couple of months, now you have social proof.
- 1:04:54Speaker 2: You probably got three four thousand followers, got a dope logo,
- 1:04:57Speaker 2: dope bio. Everything is structured correctly, and then you have
- 1:05:00Speaker 2: your You have your curated content, which basically means go
- 1:05:04Speaker 2: get content from other people that's viral, give them the credit,
- 1:05:07Speaker 2: and start building it out. You can do your own content.
- 1:05:11Speaker 2: Go to light room, get the lightroom app, edit it up.
- 1:05:14Speaker 2: You can go get face tuned app. Go get that boom,
- 1:05:17Speaker 2: get your face right, get get the pictures right, clean
- 1:05:20Speaker 2: it up like a professional editor. And then now you
- 1:05:23Speaker 2: have great content that's that's coming out. You build the
- 1:05:26Speaker 2: credibility right now, you got three four thousand followers. Now
- 1:05:30Speaker 2: take that and now go get an influencer to post it.
- 1:05:33Speaker 7: Go pay them, reach out to him.
- 1:05:35Speaker 2: DM. I'm gonna say, yo, I love what you're doing,
- 1:05:39Speaker 2: but I want to know what's your cost for promo
- 1:05:43Speaker 2: and you say, okay, cool, this is this price. Boom
- 1:05:46Speaker 2: pay him a couple hundred dollars. You can start with
- 1:05:47Speaker 2: micro influence with a one hundred thousand, two hundred thousand,
- 1:05:50Speaker 2: three hundred thousand followers. They don't get much deal flow,
- 1:05:53Speaker 2: so they'd be happy to post your stuff. You get
- 1:05:55Speaker 2: them to rock your product. Now you got that as advertisement.
- 1:05:58Speaker 2: Give them a contract to say, hey, sign this that
- 1:06:01Speaker 2: you're leasing me this video, that I own this video
- 1:06:04Speaker 2: that I can use it in advertisement. So now you
- 1:06:06Speaker 2: have that video. Take that video and now you're posting
- 1:06:11Speaker 2: on your page. See what type of traction and get
- 1:06:13Speaker 2: get three or four influences to post it. They post
- 1:06:15Speaker 2: it on that page. It's going to draw traffic back
- 1:06:18Speaker 2: to your page. The credibility is there when they're coming like,
- 1:06:20Speaker 2: oh I like this page, let me follow it.
- 1:06:21Speaker 7: So now they follow the page.
- 1:06:23Speaker 2: So now once they follow the page, you start building
- 1:06:26Speaker 2: your audience up.
- 1:06:27Speaker 7: Okay, now you take that video and.
- 1:06:29Speaker 2: You use the Facebook ads and you do five dollars
- 1:06:32Speaker 2: a day on that video. Guess what, it's a known face.
- 1:06:35Speaker 2: You can target that person's followers without even being on it.
- 1:06:39Speaker 7: Already didn't post it on your page.
- 1:06:41Speaker 2: You can streamshot that show that you posted on your page,
- 1:06:44Speaker 2: use that as the video, then posting it on their page,
- 1:06:47Speaker 2: and then do another set asset of just the video itself,
- 1:06:52Speaker 2: and then you target that person's fans. They already know,
- 1:06:55Speaker 2: like and trust that person, so they more likely going
- 1:06:57Speaker 2: to buy your product. And then once you do that,
- 1:07:00Speaker 2: you create to look alike again. Once you get to
- 1:07:02Speaker 2: first hundred customers or the first hundred followers that follow
- 1:07:05Speaker 2: that page, do a look alike and then boom, you
- 1:07:08Speaker 2: target everybody. So now you're automatically targeting people that will
- 1:07:11Speaker 2: purchase your product right off the rip. And that's what
- 1:07:14Speaker 2: I would do if I was starting from scratches, a
- 1:07:16Speaker 2: brand new business owner.
- 1:07:17Speaker 3: There you have it. There you have it, ladies and gentlemen.
- 1:07:20Speaker 3: So all right, so that's a whole lot of games.
- 1:07:22Speaker 3: What I can say, that's a whole lot of game
- 1:07:24Speaker 3: right there. So how did you get into teaching people?
- 1:07:27Speaker 3: How did you get into teach? Like, well, all right,
- 1:07:28Speaker 3: so you was an entertainer and you became an entrepreneur.
- 1:07:32Speaker 3: In this space, you're helping celebrities, So what made you
- 1:07:36Speaker 3: want to transition into helping regular people, teaching people.
- 1:07:40Speaker 2: I don't know who are spirit you here or not.
- 1:07:42Speaker 2: But I literally got a message from God. I had
- 1:07:49Speaker 2: somebody that, you know, tell me what my purpose was
- 1:07:54Speaker 2: and what he said, everything he said came true, Like
- 1:07:57Speaker 2: he told me what was gonna happen. Before I started
- 1:08:00Speaker 2: in my business. I got the message and he told
- 1:08:03Speaker 2: me what was gonna happen.
- 1:08:04Speaker 3: Who was this person? I can't say, yeah.
- 1:08:06Speaker 2: But you know, I can't tell.
- 1:08:08Speaker 5: My angel, you know, but he's sitting here with us.
- 1:08:12Speaker 2: Yeah. No, So he told me. He told me what
- 1:08:17Speaker 2: he told me the situation, and I was just like,
- 1:08:20Speaker 2: you know, I was just like, okay, you know, I
- 1:08:23Speaker 2: agree to what I agreed to. But everything he said
- 1:08:29Speaker 2: literally rolled down. And that was the day I started
- 1:08:32Speaker 2: my business. I started my business the following week after
- 1:08:34Speaker 2: I got the message, I saw my first person, which
- 1:08:37Speaker 2: was getting Jay Holiday and and Jay Holiday. First month,
- 1:08:42Speaker 2: he was at twenty thousand dollars in revenue, brand new business.
- 1:08:47Speaker 2: And he made twenty thousand dollars every single month, every
- 1:08:50Speaker 2: single month. And then I was flying back and forth
- 1:08:53Speaker 2: to LA from Miami. I was in LA like three
- 1:08:55Speaker 2: times a week. That's why I moved out there, I
- 1:08:57Speaker 2: was like, Yo, it's too many meetings back and forth.
- 1:09:00Speaker 2: So I just packed my family up. I was like,
- 1:09:02Speaker 2: well out And ever since then, like my purpose and
- 1:09:07Speaker 2: my passion was building the community and teaching my game
- 1:09:14Speaker 2: and things that I've learned through my journey. And I
- 1:09:17Speaker 2: was able to help gift back and help build up
- 1:09:20Speaker 2: and create more leaders in the community. And I've been
- 1:09:24Speaker 2: I've been solid to my to my promise ever since.
- 1:09:27Speaker 2: And that's just what it is, you know. And I
- 1:09:30Speaker 2: I'm just being obedient to you the truth. So I'm
- 1:09:32Speaker 2: just I'm just doing what I gotta do, and you know,
- 1:09:36Speaker 2: and I mean it's God's wills. I'm just doing what
- 1:09:39Speaker 2: I'm just doing what I'm put on this earth to do.
- 1:09:41Speaker 2: So that's why I decided to create the school. You know,
- 1:09:48Speaker 2: once I learned what I learned, and everything mapped out
- 1:09:53Speaker 2: just the same way that the person told me it
- 1:09:55Speaker 2: was gonna map up. Literally, bro, imagine somebody tell you, like, yo,
- 1:09:59Speaker 2: on this month, you're gonna be sitting down with Spectacular, okay,
- 1:10:02Speaker 2: and after that, before that, you're gonna have a red
- 1:10:04Speaker 2: shirt on, all right, and then after and you just like,
- 1:10:07Speaker 2: was this.
- 1:10:07Speaker 3: The person that Snoop spoke to and uh in that video,
- 1:10:11Speaker 3: hos it? Oh it was the case murder was the case? Shit?
- 1:10:15Speaker 2: Oh now he sounded like the Boogeyman. Wasn't no boogeyman?
- 1:10:20Speaker 2: But yeah, no, for real though it was. It was
- 1:10:22Speaker 2: crazy the way that everything rolled out exactly how the
- 1:10:25Speaker 2: person said was gonna roll out. And this was like
- 1:10:27Speaker 2: he told me, like when he told me, and then
- 1:10:29Speaker 2: two years passed by that what he said happened the
- 1:10:32Speaker 2: same way he say it was, and it was like
- 1:10:34Speaker 2: five or six incidents that he mapped out before it happened.
- 1:10:37Speaker 2: So like, I'm just a believer at that point, even
- 1:10:40Speaker 2: if I didn't believe, that was something to like catch
- 1:10:42Speaker 2: my attention at Okay, this is this is real.
- 1:10:46Speaker 4: So so when you built out the academy, I mean
- 1:10:49Speaker 4: obviously that takes a lot of work, and you've done
- 1:10:50Speaker 4: an amazing job. Featured and Forbes think five hundred fastest
- 1:10:54Speaker 4: growing companies, And I think one of the best things
- 1:10:56Speaker 4: I heard that you said is like you hire your weaknesses.
- 1:10:59Speaker 5: What took you to get to that point?
- 1:11:00Speaker 4: It was an event that happened to say, you know what,
- 1:11:03Speaker 4: I'm not good at this. I gotta find somebody who's
- 1:11:05Speaker 4: better and I can get them on the team.
- 1:11:09Speaker 2: It was really educating myself. I just understood what I
- 1:11:12Speaker 2: was great at, what I wasn't great at, and I
- 1:11:15Speaker 2: knew that if I don't find a team that is
- 1:11:23Speaker 2: great at what A mediocre at, I'm not going to
- 1:11:27Speaker 2: grow as fast as I want to. So that's why
- 1:11:29Speaker 2: I realized that you don't hire somebody and then try
- 1:11:33Speaker 2: to train them at the advanced stages in your business,
- 1:11:37Speaker 2: because your business grow out a seven percent. If you
- 1:11:40Speaker 2: find somebody that already know the skill, then you ground
- 1:11:43Speaker 2: eighty percent. But you're if you find somebody who don't
- 1:11:47Speaker 2: know the skills, they're learning on your dying right. You're
- 1:11:50Speaker 2: literally giving them the university and they're making mistakes to learn,
- 1:11:56Speaker 2: and you're paying for it in return. Your company is
- 1:11:59Speaker 2: moving like this because they got to go through the
- 1:12:00Speaker 2: learning curve. They got to keep going like this. Versus
- 1:12:04Speaker 2: somebody already know the skill set can take it from
- 1:12:06Speaker 2: here to here. You're just going forward at that point
- 1:12:09Speaker 2: at accelerated pace. So when I realize that, I realize
- 1:12:14Speaker 2: everything that I'm not great at, I need to find
- 1:12:16Speaker 2: somebody to do and then everybody who I get on
- 1:12:20Speaker 2: my team that's great at certain things, but mediocad things,
- 1:12:25Speaker 2: they need to find somebody to help them too. So
- 1:12:27Speaker 2: I started I started building my teams horizontally. I stopped
- 1:12:32Speaker 2: building my teams vertically and I started building them horizontally.
- 1:12:36Speaker 2: So instead of like, oh, this person charging this person, No,
- 1:12:38Speaker 2: this person is strong at this in marketing and they're
- 1:12:42Speaker 2: super creative, but this person right here is more organized
- 1:12:46Speaker 2: because this person is disorganized. So instead of this person
- 1:12:49Speaker 2: being over this person, they're working side by side. And
- 1:12:52Speaker 2: then whatever these two people weaknesses are, I find a
- 1:12:55Speaker 2: third person to now set off their weaknesses. So he
- 1:12:58Speaker 2: might be the person that's a good and right but
- 1:13:01Speaker 2: he knows, understands adds. So like all of them work
- 1:13:03Speaker 2: as a team. So I'm not just hiring one big person,
- 1:13:07Speaker 2: like I'm literally hiring a bunch of mini experts. Put
- 1:13:10Speaker 2: them together, and then everybody has vahs built underneath them.
- 1:13:13Speaker 2: If you have a minimum wage activity, you shouldn't be
- 1:13:16Speaker 2: doing it. If you do this repetitive. If this is repetitive,
- 1:13:20Speaker 2: then you shouldn't be doing it. If anything a robot
- 1:13:23Speaker 2: can do over and over and over again, you shouldn't
- 1:13:25Speaker 2: be doing it. I'm paying you for your brain. You
- 1:13:28Speaker 2: shouldn't be doing a repetitive task. So my team has
- 1:13:34Speaker 2: virtual assistance, they have assistance, and there sometimes the assistants
- 1:13:38Speaker 2: have assistance. So like I need stuff getting done because
- 1:13:41Speaker 2: what was happening to me was I would tell them
- 1:13:44Speaker 2: to do something, and I'm a visionary at heart, so
- 1:13:48Speaker 2: like my ideas come fluing. They get tired of these ideas,
- 1:13:50Speaker 2: I got them, come and shoot them matter. So I
- 1:13:54Speaker 2: would like, I would say, like, Yo, what happened with
- 1:13:56Speaker 2: that wapp into that project he was working on. I
- 1:14:01Speaker 2: don't know, Like, what do you mean what happened? Well,
- 1:14:04Speaker 2: you told me to do this now? So I was like,
- 1:14:07Speaker 2: come on, So like before I look at it, somebody
- 1:14:09Speaker 2: told them to do in January, it's the end of February.
- 1:14:14Speaker 2: It ain't even get touch yet because it started to
- 1:14:17Speaker 2: it started to get pushed down. Call it kicking the
- 1:14:21Speaker 2: can down the row. So what I realized was they
- 1:14:25Speaker 2: need to focus on what's the most important. Anything that
- 1:14:28Speaker 2: comes outside of that they delegate to their vas. So
- 1:14:33Speaker 2: they focus on the main thing, and then anything that's
- 1:14:36Speaker 2: still important that they're not focused on, they dish it
- 1:14:39Speaker 2: to their vas. So every single thing that my team needs.
- 1:14:42Speaker 2: So let's say that they need copywriting, you need Facebook ads,
- 1:14:46Speaker 2: you need YouTube ads, you need funnel person, okay, you
- 1:14:50Speaker 2: need an email person. I have five vas for each
- 1:14:54Speaker 2: one of those things, all in one Slack channel. So
- 1:14:57Speaker 2: when it comes time to a project, we dumped the
- 1:14:59Speaker 2: price and whoever could get to it first, they start
- 1:15:02Speaker 2: on it right away. So if I got five projects,
- 1:15:04Speaker 2: I get those five projects done in twenty eight to
- 1:15:06Speaker 2: forty eight hours.
- 1:15:09Speaker 5: Good system.
- 1:15:10Speaker 2: So I don't have to worry about moving slow because
- 1:15:12Speaker 2: I tell my team that we got to move fast.
- 1:15:15Speaker 2: The fastest we can move, the better. So if I
- 1:15:17Speaker 2: have a company with that's doing twelve projects a year,
- 1:15:20Speaker 2: if I have these vas built out, now, all of
- 1:15:23Speaker 2: a sudden, I can do twelve projects times five in
- 1:15:26Speaker 2: the year. So now my company just grew timed five
- 1:15:28Speaker 2: times as fast and it's accelerated so higher. For my weakness.
- 1:15:36Speaker 2: Is the best thing I ever did. And when in
- 1:15:39Speaker 2: every business you have two components to it. You have
- 1:15:41Speaker 2: a builder and you have a seller. The builder is
- 1:15:44Speaker 2: usually the operations person, systematic person, finance person, and the
- 1:15:51Speaker 2: seller is the person that does the sales, the marketing
- 1:15:53Speaker 2: and all the partnerships and in business, you have both
- 1:15:58Speaker 2: of those. The biggest hire was the builder, which is
- 1:16:05Speaker 2: the integrator. It's a book called Rocket Fuel. I think
- 1:16:09Speaker 2: everybody in their mama should read. I don't care if
- 1:16:12Speaker 2: you got like, if you're starting a business, you're inspiring entrepreneur.
- 1:16:15Speaker 2: Read the book. And then it's another book called Traction.
- 1:16:20Speaker 2: It's the EOS system. I run all my multi million,
- 1:16:23Speaker 2: all the businesses on it. I have to learn traction.
- 1:16:26Speaker 2: In the book Traction, it basically explains to you how
- 1:16:31Speaker 2: every successful business failed because of accountability, goals right, seeing
- 1:16:38Speaker 2: through the forest of the trees and understand what's coming
- 1:16:40Speaker 2: down the pipeline, and issues. Those are the three components
- 1:16:44Speaker 2: that make a business fail. So if you have accountability,
- 1:16:52Speaker 2: things are not slipping through the cracks. So if I
- 1:16:55Speaker 2: have a task that I need one of my teams
- 1:16:58Speaker 2: to do, and in that task we talk about it.
- 1:17:02Speaker 2: We have a what's called a level ten for an
- 1:17:05Speaker 2: hour and thirty minutes every single week. The only time
- 1:17:08Speaker 2: you miss it if you're dead, are you in jail,
- 1:17:10Speaker 2: only time you miss it. And in that meeting we
- 1:17:14Speaker 2: talk about issues. So the issues. When we have an issue,
- 1:17:16Speaker 2: they might be like, oh man, you know I don't
- 1:17:20Speaker 2: like that.
- 1:17:21Speaker 7: Every time I come in spec.
- 1:17:24Speaker 2: As loud as hell, he's throwing me off. I don't
- 1:17:26Speaker 2: like you know, I don't like it. So it gives
- 1:17:28Speaker 2: them a safe place to come and express themselves instead
- 1:17:31Speaker 2: of them balling it up hall less quit and say
- 1:17:34Speaker 2: I don't want to be here no more. You can
- 1:17:36Speaker 2: literally have a safe place to talk about your issues.
- 1:17:39Speaker 2: So now what happens is you put it on the
- 1:17:41Speaker 2: issues list what we call the issues list, and then
- 1:17:43Speaker 2: you do it they call IDs mode, Identify, discuss and solve.
- 1:17:49Speaker 2: So once you identify what the problem is, we all
- 1:17:52Speaker 2: discussed it as a leadership team. And once we discuss
- 1:17:55Speaker 2: it as a leadership team, the next step is to
- 1:17:56Speaker 2: get the solve. What is the solve? What is the solution?
- 1:17:59Speaker 3: Right?
- 1:17:59Speaker 2: We don't talk about the problem. We talk about the solution. Right.
- 1:18:03Speaker 2: Once we have the discussion and once you have to solve,
- 1:18:07Speaker 2: it goes on a seven day to do you're accountable
- 1:18:10Speaker 2: for this, okay, I'm looking in your eyes, Boomed, You're
- 1:18:12Speaker 2: accountable for it. You got seven days. When that seven
- 1:18:15Speaker 2: days come around, we look at the to do list
- 1:18:17Speaker 2: on everybody that was supposed to do stuff. If it's
- 1:18:20Speaker 2: not completed, we say why it wasn't completed, and then
- 1:18:23Speaker 2: if it's still not complete, out the next week or
- 1:18:25Speaker 2: we push it back to the issues list, then we
- 1:18:27Speaker 2: identify it, discuss and solve it again and see what
- 1:18:30Speaker 2: is the issue right. The next things rocks right they
- 1:18:33Speaker 2: call it rocks is basically having things that it's going
- 1:18:38Speaker 2: to push your business ahead the fastest, and we come
- 1:18:41Speaker 2: up with a big ass white board, Like in my
- 1:18:43Speaker 2: living room, I got a big ass white board. I
- 1:18:44Speaker 2: don't even my TV is behind like freaking sixty inch. No,
- 1:18:48Speaker 2: it is longer than that. I don't know. It's from
- 1:18:50Speaker 2: like wall to wall basically, and we map out the
- 1:18:53Speaker 2: whole whiteboard and we put down everything that's going to
- 1:18:56Speaker 2: like bring the business freaking it's scale it fast as possible,
- 1:19:01Speaker 2: and then we carve it out and then we have
- 1:19:02Speaker 2: a good five to seven and that's what the company
- 1:19:07Speaker 2: focused on. And then everybody else that's on the leadership team,
- 1:19:10Speaker 2: I have the market in person, you have you have
- 1:19:13Speaker 2: the operation. So even every department that have their own
- 1:19:16Speaker 2: individual rocks what they call it, and they would have
- 1:19:20Speaker 2: to get that rock done within three months. So it's
- 1:19:22Speaker 2: three month goal. So every single week we check in
- 1:19:25Speaker 2: on the rocks, how is this doing on track, off track,
- 1:19:27Speaker 2: on track, off track, on track, and we say everything,
- 1:19:29Speaker 2: every single rock that we that we have, every single
- 1:19:32Speaker 2: rock that we decide to actually to actually take on.
- 1:19:39Speaker 2: But those things are big ass goals. And man, ever
- 1:19:44Speaker 2: since I've been on this system, like my company grew
- 1:19:46Speaker 2: sixteen three years. This year, I got two companies going
- 1:19:50Speaker 2: to make the eight five thousand fastest grown companies in
- 1:19:52Speaker 2: America out of eighteen million companies. Two of them people
- 1:19:56Speaker 2: don't even make the list at all. Right, I got
- 1:19:58Speaker 2: two companies going on because systems like this that keep
- 1:20:02Speaker 2: my team accountable, goal setting and going through issues, hashing
- 1:20:06Speaker 2: it out, making it happen. And it's all based on
- 1:20:09Speaker 2: It's all based on positions versus titles. This accountability chart.
- 1:20:13Speaker 2: It's not like, oh I'm the CEO. Oh I'm just not.
- 1:20:15Speaker 7: It's the integrator.
- 1:20:17Speaker 2: You got, the visionary, got the integrator, and then underneath
- 1:20:20Speaker 2: it is all the different departments.
- 1:20:23Speaker 3: So what do you so? All right, so as far
- 1:20:25Speaker 3: as the academy, what are you actually teaching at the
- 1:20:28Speaker 3: academy and what are the offerings that that provides?
- 1:20:32Speaker 2: So what I'm teaching? Well, first of all, I seeing
- 1:20:34Speaker 2: a huge issue in the education space. I feel like
- 1:20:40Speaker 2: the education space is just horrible. I think that the
- 1:20:44Speaker 2: way it's set up, it is set up for you
- 1:20:46Speaker 2: to fail as soon as.
- 1:20:48Speaker 7: You get out into the real world, you like ten
- 1:20:50Speaker 7: steps back.
- 1:20:50Speaker 2: Because you gotta climb out of debt now. And I
- 1:20:54Speaker 2: just don't believe in that. So I decided to launch
- 1:20:57Speaker 2: my academy, and I went to Harvard to go, like
- 1:21:00Speaker 2: figure out their systems, because I'm a strong believer you
- 1:21:03Speaker 2: don't recreate the wheel, right, So I went to go
- 1:21:06Speaker 2: to see what systems how they were doing. They do
- 1:21:09Speaker 2: it based on case studies and the way that the
- 1:21:12Speaker 2: study and like how the professors move and everything, and
- 1:21:14Speaker 2: I was, all right, cool, let me replace the professor
- 1:21:18Speaker 2: with a millionaire mentor, because I truly believe that somebody
- 1:21:23Speaker 2: can only take you as further as they win. So
- 1:21:25Speaker 2: if the professor never went nowhere, you're going to take
- 1:21:28Speaker 2: me as far as you went yourself. Right. So I
- 1:21:31Speaker 2: feel like if I can get multimillionaire seven eight nine
- 1:21:36Speaker 2: figure earners I even't got a ten figure earner in
- 1:21:39Speaker 2: my program and get them to teach skill sets, that
- 1:21:45Speaker 2: makes the most sense because if you did one hundred
- 1:21:49Speaker 2: million dollars in sales, then of course you can teach
- 1:21:52Speaker 2: my students how to freaking make a million dollars in sales.
- 1:21:54Speaker 2: You did one hundred so at least they can do
- 1:21:56Speaker 2: freaking whatever, you know, whatever they decide they want to
- 1:22:00Speaker 2: do from that information.
- 1:22:02Speaker 7: And the same thing for sales marketing.
- 1:22:03Speaker 2: So I find like real experts that they kill it
- 1:22:06Speaker 2: in that market, and I have them teaching the program,
- 1:22:10Speaker 2: so I get the like, if you like a guy
- 1:22:12Speaker 2: who's teaching leadership in my program, he runs over five
- 1:22:15Speaker 2: thousand agents, lead the crap out of them, so he's
- 1:22:18Speaker 2: teaching leadership. Somebody who's doing over a million a million
- 1:22:21Speaker 2: dollars an AD spent, they're teaching you ads. The person
- 1:22:24Speaker 2: that's that's doing my operation system is the person who
- 1:22:27Speaker 2: has twenty five million and built it from his operation system.
- 1:22:32Speaker 2: Get in the same operation system I use, all right, So,
- 1:22:35Speaker 2: like all these different components is all based on people
- 1:22:38Speaker 2: that's killing it right now, not some outdated information for
- 1:22:41Speaker 2: a premium price. I'm literally giving real tangible information that
- 1:22:46Speaker 2: people can use that's working right now. And I decided
- 1:22:50Speaker 2: to create everything that I needed when I first started
- 1:22:53Speaker 2: in business because when I first started in business, like,
- 1:22:56Speaker 2: I didn't know none of this stuff. I didn't know
- 1:23:00Speaker 2: about customer support leadership. I was like, all right, I
- 1:23:04Speaker 2: get a team, right, and they helped me out and
- 1:23:07Speaker 2: they worked for me. I didn't know how to motivate
- 1:23:09Speaker 2: people and inspire them and drive them forward and teach
- 1:23:12Speaker 2: them and mentor them. I ain't know none of that.
- 1:23:14Speaker 2: So I had to learn that. And then when I
- 1:23:15Speaker 2: got in the next step was like, okay, well now
- 1:23:18Speaker 2: that I know that, now I started to get sales.
- 1:23:22Speaker 2: But when I started to get sales, like, okay, well
- 1:23:23Speaker 2: this is not going faster. Now I had to learn sales.
- 1:23:26Speaker 2: And then I got the sales all right, the sales
- 1:23:28Speaker 2: coming in, but now shit is getting drops.
- 1:23:30Speaker 7: So now I got to learn marketing.
- 1:23:31Speaker 2: Okay, damn, So how do you do this? Market Facebook? Ad?
- 1:23:33Speaker 7: Okay, figure that out.
- 1:23:35Speaker 2: Now. I was like, all right, people coming in, but
- 1:23:37Speaker 2: now leaving at the back door because my operations is broken.
- 1:23:39Speaker 2: So I'm like, all right, well, how the hell do
- 1:23:41Speaker 2: you do operations? So, like every single thing that I
- 1:23:44Speaker 2: learned creating my wealth, I literally put in the program
- 1:23:48Speaker 2: and I put all my most successful call leads that
- 1:23:53Speaker 2: they murder in those specific fields teach that specific subject matter,
- 1:23:58Speaker 2: even if I know I was great at it, if
- 1:24:00Speaker 2: they're killing it in that specific niche, I let them
- 1:24:03Speaker 2: teach in the program, and I created what they call
- 1:24:07Speaker 2: is the Entrepreneur NBA Program. So it's my version of
- 1:24:10Speaker 2: an NBA Master Business Affluence because we got to build wealth.
- 1:24:14Speaker 2: We got to build wealth the affluence like they're teaching
- 1:24:17Speaker 2: in the program. So that was really my main vision
- 1:24:21Speaker 2: behind it is building more leaders in the community, helping
- 1:24:26Speaker 2: people start a business from scratch, not even knowing the
- 1:24:28Speaker 2: ideas and the nine to five jobs, trying to figure
- 1:24:31Speaker 2: out how do I transition out of this? Like what
- 1:24:33Speaker 2: you I do? I don't know how to do this.
- 1:24:35Speaker 2: I put everything, laid it out step by step. Like
- 1:24:38Speaker 2: Maddy j is known for building businesses from scratch quickly.
- 1:24:41Speaker 2: He's teaching a business in the box section how to
- 1:24:44Speaker 2: start your business from literally from scratch him five hundred.
- 1:24:46Speaker 2: He's teaching a credit portion in my program. Now you
- 1:24:50Speaker 2: got credit. I'm teaching mindset in the program, right like
- 1:24:53Speaker 2: all these different components that were teaching and were breaking
- 1:24:56Speaker 2: it down social media, branding, marketing, everything you need to
- 1:24:59Speaker 2: have a successful business. The Reach seven figures and the
- 1:25:01Speaker 2: fastest time possible, and I put it all in one curriculum,
- 1:25:06Speaker 2: step by step where you don't have to do no thinking. Literally,
- 1:25:08Speaker 2: a freaking nine year old could come in and build
- 1:25:10Speaker 2: a million dollar business.
- 1:25:11Speaker 3: So it's bigger than just ads. Is a business, it's
- 1:25:14Speaker 3: a whole business model, like a business school.
- 1:25:16Speaker 7: It's a business school, it's an online business school.
- 1:25:19Speaker 3: And you know, nineteen key shot out to him. He
- 1:25:21Speaker 3: said something that was very profound. We interviewed him. He
- 1:25:24Speaker 3: said that education has actually created a lot of opportunities
- 1:25:27Speaker 3: because everything that they didn't teach in school has now
- 1:25:30Speaker 3: created an opportunity for experts and entrepreneurs in the field
- 1:25:34Speaker 3: to actually educate at a much lower price. If they
- 1:25:36Speaker 3: think about a lot of people have a problem of
- 1:25:37Speaker 3: online education. But it was interesting. We interviewed Mark Cuban
- 1:25:40Speaker 3: and he said that he pays for courses and he
- 1:25:44Speaker 3: pays for stuff online all the time to educate himself
- 1:25:46Speaker 3: because he has to constantly stay above the curve because
- 1:25:48Speaker 3: things change so quickly, and it's like, hey, the majority
- 1:25:51Speaker 3: of stuff that we talk about on our your leision
- 1:25:53Speaker 3: that not even teaching it. There's no credit class, there's
- 1:25:57Speaker 3: no social media Facebook ad real class, same thing. There's
- 1:26:01Speaker 3: none of these classes in college. The curriculum is so outdated.
- 1:26:03Speaker 3: Even in business schools, they're still teaching supplying demand, they're
- 1:26:07Speaker 3: still teaching theories, case studies, stuff like that. So A,
- 1:26:10Speaker 3: it's not really even offered, and B even if it
- 1:26:13Speaker 3: was offered, when you look at the price, you can
- 1:26:16Speaker 3: really compare like a community college. It's like the prices
- 1:26:19Speaker 3: of courses are really like a community college level, maybe
- 1:26:22Speaker 3: even cheaper for one course. If you go to like
- 1:26:25Speaker 3: even a state school is probably averaging like twelve to
- 1:26:28Speaker 3: twenty five thousand. Private schools anywhere from twenty five to
- 1:26:32Speaker 3: sixty thousand a year, No a year. You know what
- 1:26:37Speaker 3: I'm saying. You got to take out one hundred thousand
- 1:26:39Speaker 3: dollars a student a loan debt, and you can't even
- 1:26:41Speaker 3: get a job. There's not even guarantee if you can
- 1:26:43Speaker 3: even get a job. So it's like, look at it
- 1:26:46Speaker 3: from it's always we have to look at how we
- 1:26:49Speaker 3: I think a lot of times depending on how you
- 1:26:51Speaker 3: look at something, you have a different perspective on it.
- 1:26:53Speaker 3: Where it's like you have no problem taking a gamble
- 1:26:58Speaker 3: going to private school your whole life and then going
- 1:27:03Speaker 3: to college and sixty thousand dollars down line and hey,
- 1:27:08Speaker 3: answering phones. I'm just saying they tried to try two,
- 1:27:12Speaker 3: Like that's no problem. But then it's like he was like,
- 1:27:15Speaker 3: oh this this course might be risky. Your whole life's
- 1:27:18Speaker 3: been risky.
- 1:27:19Speaker 2: Yo, listen to this, man, I've seen because Harvard is
- 1:27:23Speaker 2: catching on.
- 1:27:24Speaker 7: So now they're doing online.
- 1:27:26Speaker 2: They're doing online schools now right, they have online programs.
- 1:27:31Speaker 2: And it cracked me up. Man, I went on the
- 1:27:33Speaker 2: actually target me because I went I went to Harvard
- 1:27:37Speaker 2: and they targeted me in that pixel hell, so they
- 1:27:40Speaker 2: targeted me.
- 1:27:41Speaker 7: And I looked at I look at the comments. First
- 1:27:43Speaker 7: thing I see scam. I say, Yo, they.
- 1:27:47Speaker 2: Don't anything online to people is a scam. Harvard even
- 1:27:52Speaker 2: getting it, I was like, Harvard ain't good enough? How
- 1:27:54Speaker 2: it is Harvard a scam? I was so confused. I
- 1:27:57Speaker 2: was like, Yo, this is just too much at this point.
- 1:27:59Speaker 2: And I think anything that's different than what the normal
- 1:28:02Speaker 2: people uh tells the society. People are uncomfortable with it.
- 1:28:08Speaker 2: Uncomfortable with it. It's just a new way of learning.
- 1:28:10Speaker 5: This is the.
- 1:28:12Speaker 2: This is the evolution of learning.
- 1:28:14Speaker 5: It is education. This is the real education.
- 1:28:18Speaker 2: Learn from people that really did this before, not like
- 1:28:22Speaker 2: people people learning from right now. People are learning from
- 1:28:27Speaker 2: travel agents. They say, hey, man, it's gonna be great
- 1:28:31Speaker 2: over there at Jamaica.
- 1:28:32Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:28:32Speaker 2: Yeah, you ever been in Jamaica? Nah, but I heard
- 1:28:34Speaker 2: it's good over there. Man, it's great. I'm telling you,
- 1:28:36Speaker 2: go over there. This is what's gonna happen to you.
- 1:28:39Speaker 2: No tour guides They're like, yo, already been there before.
- 1:28:43Speaker 2: You go over there and make it left.
- 1:28:44Speaker 3: Yo.
- 1:28:45Speaker 7: They got some good food over there.
- 1:28:46Speaker 2: You want to go over there, Na, they racist over
- 1:28:48Speaker 2: don't go over there, bro, Nah, don't go over there.
- 1:28:50Speaker 2: Go yeah, over here. This is the plug man. They
- 1:28:53Speaker 2: got some through it so they can navi They can
- 1:28:57Speaker 2: help you navigate. But you gonna learn from somebody that'd
- 1:29:01Speaker 2: never been where you want to be at.
- 1:29:03Speaker 3: And it's like I always say all the time, because
- 1:29:05Speaker 3: you know, I went to shout out to the University
- 1:29:07Speaker 3: of Hawaii. I have none against them, great school, but I
- 1:29:09Speaker 3: say all the time, like my school, Ey University, My
- 1:29:12Speaker 3: school took me further than state school. It's not it's
- 1:29:15Speaker 3: not a biased opinion. It's just the fact the things
- 1:29:18Speaker 3: that I learned in college. I mean if I was
- 1:29:20Speaker 3: just relying on that, I'd be in trouble. Absolutely, the
- 1:29:23Speaker 3: relationships and the information that I got just from creating
- 1:29:27Speaker 3: this platform has changed not only my life, odds are
- 1:29:32Speaker 3: generations of lives. Like the state education that I got
- 1:29:37Speaker 3: in college would not have changed generations of life or
- 1:29:40Speaker 3: the communications degree impossible, be pretty difficult.
- 1:29:46Speaker 2: But you know what, I'm confused about how nobody's catching on?
- 1:29:50Speaker 2: It is like it's millions of people who graduate every
- 1:29:55Speaker 2: single year. Is hundreds of professors who know the textbook
- 1:30:01Speaker 2: from the first page to the last page. But they
- 1:30:05Speaker 2: gonna teach you how to get wealthy.
- 1:30:08Speaker 7: They got it themselves. How is nobody catching on?
- 1:30:12Speaker 3: It is?
- 1:30:12Speaker 2: And everybody that I know who went to college, are
- 1:30:17Speaker 2: you doing what you went to college for? Right now?
- 1:30:20Speaker 3: Technical communications degree?
- 1:30:21Speaker 4: So I went to school for education. So it's it's
- 1:30:26Speaker 4: crazy because now he's a financial advisor. I'm in education,
- 1:30:30Speaker 4: So what kind of makes sense? We still are educating.
- 1:30:33Speaker 4: I went to school for physic and help, all.
- 1:30:34Speaker 2: Right, so you two people I know how to everybody
- 1:30:37Speaker 2: everybody I ever asked that question to. But even before
- 1:30:40Speaker 2: literally tell me they're not doing what they went to college.
- 1:30:42Speaker 3: But even before this I will find. I'm still a
- 1:30:44Speaker 3: financial advisor still to this day. And I mean the
- 1:30:46Speaker 3: communications degree didn't help me with that, so that's true. Yeah,
- 1:30:50Speaker 3: so my business acumen and stuff like that. I mean,
- 1:30:52Speaker 3: I it.
- 1:30:53Speaker 7: Ain't come from college, but you're still all that money.
- 1:30:56Speaker 3: No, I had a scholarship.
- 1:30:58Speaker 5: You gotta look at you gotta look right. Yeah, I
- 1:31:01Speaker 5: still know that money. Wow, that's a whole other issue.
- 1:31:06Speaker 2: But the point I'm making this Like everybody I asked,
- 1:31:09Speaker 2: especially my students, I say, yo, even in my training
- 1:31:12Speaker 2: sometimes I'll be like, Yo, how much college that you're
- 1:31:15Speaker 2: in And they're like, yo, two fifty.
- 1:31:19Speaker 7: And I was okay, was it worth it? Bro one
- 1:31:21Speaker 7: hundred percent? It'd be one person.
- 1:31:23Speaker 2: I always say that one it'd be you in the
- 1:31:25Speaker 2: common you know, like everybody else don't mean it.
- 1:31:29Speaker 5: They don't mean it.
- 1:31:29Speaker 4: They just don't want to admit, like to themselves, like yo, damn,
- 1:31:32Speaker 4: I paid three hundred thousand and I'm about to try
- 1:31:34Speaker 4: to make fifty for the next five years.
- 1:31:37Speaker 5: It's like you don't want admit you know.
- 1:31:38Speaker 3: You know what happens when you when you fi I
- 1:31:40Speaker 3: think we said this for Grant. When you follow, when
- 1:31:42Speaker 3: you follow the rules, is when you lose no absolute
- 1:31:46Speaker 3: everybody that I know that has done it the right
- 1:31:48Speaker 3: way is it has lost people that are entrepreneurs. That's winging.
- 1:31:53Speaker 3: We've been in Miami just thwing like on the one way,
- 1:31:57Speaker 3: figure it out. Figure out when when we figure it out,
- 1:31:59Speaker 3: Like what I'm saying, it's like it's like the average
- 1:32:03Speaker 3: person's like, I gotta get back home, I gotta call
- 1:32:05Speaker 3: my boss. I can't extend. Now I can do whatever
- 1:32:07Speaker 3: you want, breaking every rule possible and just succeeding. Yeah,
- 1:32:13Speaker 3: you're trying to follow. You're trying to follow every single
- 1:32:15Speaker 3: thing that society except for you. And it's like Derek Grace,
- 1:32:19Speaker 3: it's generations of failure. You're following generations.
- 1:32:23Speaker 5: It didn't work in the seventies. It's not gonna work
- 1:32:24Speaker 5: in a generational failure.
- 1:32:26Speaker 3: It's not even like something to be like, it's just
- 1:32:29Speaker 3: like your grandparents didn't know. They was taught, Yo, you
- 1:32:33Speaker 3: gotta work hard, you gotta do this. Your parents didn't know,
- 1:32:37Speaker 3: but now you know and you can see from your
- 1:32:40Speaker 3: grandparents your parents that it hasn't worked. So in order
- 1:32:44Speaker 3: to change something, if you're not it's like the definition
- 1:32:45Speaker 3: of insanity. If you keep doing the same thing expecting
- 1:32:48Speaker 3: the second it's not going to happen. I'm be honest
- 1:32:51Speaker 3: with you. It's just not gonna happen.
- 1:32:52Speaker 7: Nobody's coming to save you.
- 1:32:53Speaker 2: I heard Bill Gates say one day, if you are
- 1:32:56Speaker 2: boring poor is not your fault.
- 1:32:58Speaker 7: If you die poor, that's your fault.
- 1:33:00Speaker 3: It's on you.
- 1:33:01Speaker 2: It's on you.
- 1:33:02Speaker 7: It's too much information.
- 1:33:03Speaker 2: You got your university, you got my academy, like, it's
- 1:33:07Speaker 2: so much information. But people want to go through the
- 1:33:11Speaker 2: traditional school route, and everybody go at the end and
- 1:33:14Speaker 2: they'll be like, man, I mean all this debt, they complain,
- 1:33:17Speaker 2: and then when they do get out of it, and this
- 1:33:19Speaker 2: is this is what pisses me off. They they work
- 1:33:21Speaker 2: their whole life, They go to all these years of college,
- 1:33:24Speaker 2: they finally get out, can't even get a job, no
- 1:33:27Speaker 2: job for them.
- 1:33:27Speaker 7: And then when they try to get a job, they say, Okay, what.
- 1:33:29Speaker 2: Experience you got, How I'm gonna have experienced? Like if
- 1:33:31Speaker 2: you ain't hiring me, all right, cool, So they will
- 1:33:34Speaker 2: go through that, they get a job. Now they work
- 1:33:35Speaker 2: their whole time. They bust their ass for this place.
- 1:33:37Speaker 2: They built somebody else's dream. And one pandemic happened and
- 1:33:40Speaker 2: everybody lay it off.
- 1:33:41Speaker 4: Yeah, basically that sounds like twenty twenty.
- 1:33:45Speaker 2: That ain't crazy, But if you would have if somebody
- 1:33:47Speaker 2: will spend that same time and effort and energy on
- 1:33:51Speaker 2: building their own dreams instead of building somebody else's how
- 1:33:54Speaker 2: you gonna lay off a boss?
- 1:33:57Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 1:33:58Speaker 5: Fair. I think it's fair.
- 1:33:59Speaker 4: It's fair, and that that's one of those things that
- 1:34:01Speaker 4: I heard. This quote was amazing. It was like people fear,
- 1:34:05Speaker 4: they live with fear, and when they surely just be
- 1:34:07Speaker 4: worried about regret because what happens when you don't do it?
- 1:34:11Speaker 5: You know what I'm saying, Like.
- 1:34:12Speaker 4: We don't live with fear, Like we went out on
- 1:34:14Speaker 4: the edge, like we never thought like this thing's gonna work.
- 1:34:15Speaker 5: We're just like what if we don't do this? The opportunity,
- 1:34:19Speaker 5: cause what if I don't do this?
- 1:34:22Speaker 2: That's that's too many people think of the the cup
- 1:34:26Speaker 2: half empty instead of half for like, not not if
- 1:34:30Speaker 2: I get If I don't get this, what's gonna happen?
- 1:34:36Speaker 2: What's the bad things that's gonna happen? No, if I
- 1:34:38Speaker 2: get this, what is the possibilities if I get this?
- 1:34:41Speaker 3: I realized you got two types of people in this world.
- 1:34:43Speaker 3: Those asks? Why those asks? Why not? Like I was
- 1:34:47Speaker 3: talking to my son, I'm like, that's just say that's
- 1:34:49Speaker 3: my son.
- 1:34:49Speaker 5: I was.
- 1:34:51Speaker 3: I'm like, I'm in Miami. He's like, Yo, you was
- 1:34:53Speaker 3: just in Atlanta. He's like, why are you going to Miami.
- 1:34:55Speaker 3: I'm like, why not? There's no limits to this, but
- 1:34:58Speaker 3: school trained you like that. It's like, don't take more
- 1:35:01Speaker 3: than two vacations a year. Don't go too crazy.
- 1:35:07Speaker 4: They used to kill They're like, yo, you got all
- 1:35:09Speaker 4: these days off, You're not gonna take one. I'm like,
- 1:35:12Speaker 4: They're like, what happens at the end of the year.
- 1:35:14Speaker 5: We don't use them?
- 1:35:15Speaker 4: Like it rolls over like yeah, and then you'll never
- 1:35:16Speaker 4: use it. I'm like, yeah, they right, bro, Like what
- 1:35:19Speaker 4: I got. This doesn't even make no sense, but that's
- 1:35:21Speaker 4: the mindset. It's like, don't use these ads.
- 1:35:23Speaker 3: We gotta reprogram. But it's happening. It's happened.
- 1:35:27Speaker 7: Reprogram.
- 1:35:27Speaker 3: So one of the things that you know, we pride
- 1:35:31Speaker 3: ourselves on is, like I said, a lot of our
- 1:35:33Speaker 3: friends and a lot of people that EYO alumni come
- 1:35:35Speaker 3: on and they have programs and like I said, I'm
- 1:35:39Speaker 3: actually a proponent of education online. I paid for a lot,
- 1:35:43Speaker 3: of course, and I don't even ask for discounts. But
- 1:35:45Speaker 3: one thing that we always ask of the alumni is
- 1:35:47Speaker 3: if they have a program, if they can give a special,
- 1:35:51Speaker 3: you know, bonus discount for just our community of earners
- 1:35:55Speaker 3: out there. And everybody usually always obliges, whether it's IMPIP
- 1:35:59Speaker 3: one hundred, whether it's child Chris all of the guys
- 1:36:01Speaker 3: and Spectacular was a gentleman about it, and he agreed
- 1:36:04Speaker 3: as well. So what we're doing is two fifty off
- 1:36:08Speaker 3: to fifty off the package, right, So two hundred and
- 1:36:10Speaker 3: fifty dollars, y'all.
- 1:36:11Speaker 2: I would never in my life.
- 1:36:17Speaker 3: That's a fact. That's a fact. I was telling him
- 1:36:19Speaker 3: about it.
- 1:36:19Speaker 4: It was like, Okay, I really never do this.
- 1:36:25Speaker 3: It wasn't all the way enthusiastic about it. You had
- 1:36:27Speaker 3: to think about it for a minute. But so Spectacular
- 1:36:30Speaker 3: Academy dot com backslash e y L and you will
- 1:36:34Speaker 3: get a special special only for this, only for this
- 1:36:38Speaker 3: two fifty off of the of the academy. And I
- 1:36:42Speaker 3: mean you just kind of went over it and now
- 1:36:43Speaker 3: so you already know what it is. So yes, appreciate
- 1:36:46Speaker 3: you for doing that.
- 1:36:47Speaker 2: Thank because this this is one thing like my students
- 1:36:50Speaker 2: ain't turning in resumes, accepting resumes.
- 1:36:56Speaker 3: That's a bar. Don't let that go over your big bar.
- 1:36:59Speaker 3: Don't let that go Yeah. So yes, Spectacular Academy dot
- 1:37:02Speaker 3: Com backslash eyl exclusive offer biggest in the world, the
- 1:37:05Speaker 3: biggest show in the world. So we got to get
- 1:37:08Speaker 3: different perks than every other show.
- 1:37:09Speaker 5: The fact, the big show.
- 1:37:10Speaker 3: It's only right, it's only right, the big, big, big show,
- 1:37:13Speaker 3: big big show. So spectacle, what's on the horizon? What
- 1:37:16Speaker 3: would you like to tell people? What's next? What's your
- 1:37:19Speaker 3: what's your plan to blow up in twenty twenty one
- 1:37:21Speaker 3: even more than what you are now?
- 1:37:23Speaker 5: Yeah?
- 1:37:23Speaker 2: Man, I'm doing a few things. Man. Right now, I'm
- 1:37:26Speaker 2: building out the franchise model for my agency, so they're
- 1:37:29Speaker 2: gonna be able to utilize my name Aazar and have
- 1:37:33Speaker 2: me as the post person for their agency model. And yeah,
- 1:37:39Speaker 2: I'm gonna be launching that pretty soon. I should create
- 1:37:41Speaker 2: a wait list for So what I'm gonna do is
- 1:37:44Speaker 2: I'm basically gonna have it where Because my company won
- 1:37:47Speaker 2: so many awards. We won the Entrepreneur three sixty award
- 1:37:51Speaker 2: Best Probably Owned Companies in America. Bout Entrepreneur magazine two
- 1:37:55Speaker 2: years in a row. That's like, that's the second hardest
- 1:37:57Speaker 2: award to get in business because they they based it
- 1:37:59Speaker 2: on for innovation, revenue, the CEO, like the leadership, and
- 1:38:05Speaker 2: like all the different components. And then we won the
- 1:38:08Speaker 2: in five thousand, twenty seventeen. This year we got two
- 1:38:12Speaker 2: companies winning the award. That was ours one of them.
- 1:38:15Speaker 2: So they have all this, you know, different awards, so
- 1:38:18Speaker 2: they're gonna be able to utilize the company name. It's
- 1:38:21Speaker 2: gonna be a service based business. All they need is
- 1:38:24Speaker 2: they don't need a build out, physical location. They can
- 1:38:27Speaker 2: get started up literally within two days, and it's gonna
- 1:38:31Speaker 2: be a franchise fee.
- 1:38:33Speaker 7: And then after that franchise fee, we're gonna.
- 1:38:36Speaker 2: Train them for at least seven days and then they
- 1:38:39Speaker 2: get to start their business right off the back. It's
- 1:38:41Speaker 2: gonna be a franchise fee every single month. But I
- 1:38:45Speaker 2: mean it's gonna it's already it's a multi million dollar business.
- 1:38:48Speaker 2: They get to just tap into right off the back
- 1:38:50Speaker 2: and have me promote their their stuff, and I'm gonna
- 1:38:52Speaker 2: run the ads for them. I'm gonna have a minimum
- 1:38:54Speaker 2: budget to run the ads, so you're gonna have the
- 1:38:56Speaker 2: experts running their ass and I'm gonna build out the teams.
- 1:39:00Speaker 2: So that's one thing I'm doing. The second thing I'm
- 1:39:02Speaker 2: doing is actually launched the fitness product Spectacular dot Fitness.
- 1:39:10Speaker 2: You can go to that website and it's a new
- 1:39:13Speaker 2: invention that basically lets you work your whole upper body.
- 1:39:16Speaker 2: So depending on where you put the actual handles, it'll
- 1:39:19Speaker 2: work your shoulders, your back, and your triceps and your biceps, shoulders,
- 1:39:27Speaker 2: back traps, hold on shoulder back, oh, chess, yeah, the chest.
- 1:39:34Speaker 2: So yeah, it's it's man, it's dope as hell. We're
- 1:39:38Speaker 2: doing another version where we're going to add the resistant
- 1:39:40Speaker 2: bands onto.
- 1:39:40Speaker 7: It, but dope product.
- 1:39:42Speaker 2: We just released that. We launched that like a week ago,
- 1:39:45Speaker 2: less than less than five days ago. But the reason
- 1:39:51Speaker 2: why I'm doing that is because I'm building out something
- 1:39:53Speaker 2: called social see where it's gonna where I'm making I'm
- 1:39:56Speaker 2: changing the way that the average person support their favorite influencer.
- 1:40:00Speaker 2: So what's gonna happen is we're gonna take the next
- 1:40:03Speaker 2: Colleige Jenna before she became Collie Jenna with College Cosmetics,
- 1:40:06Speaker 2: and we're gonna pair her up with the with the
- 1:40:09Speaker 2: best product for her brand and then we're gonna let
- 1:40:11Speaker 2: her fans, her top one thousand fans become micro investors
- 1:40:16Speaker 2: for her actual product, and they're gonna have say so
- 1:40:19Speaker 2: and like the product launches and the designs, and it's
- 1:40:23Speaker 2: like a mini street team, a little mini advisory board,
- 1:40:26Speaker 2: and you get to run ideas through them. They get
- 1:40:28Speaker 2: to come up with names and everything, be real.
- 1:40:31Speaker 7: Interactive with the brand.
- 1:40:33Speaker 2: And once we raised that first, I would say fan round,
- 1:40:37Speaker 2: then we can do the seed round and then get
- 1:40:40Speaker 2: into all of that. But we're gonna have we have
- 1:40:44Speaker 2: a we have hours our technologies which is the accelerator
- 1:40:49Speaker 2: for that. So we test like one hundred products at
- 1:40:51Speaker 2: one time with everyone floats to the top. We pair
- 1:40:53Speaker 2: it up with the influencer. Once we play it with
- 1:40:54Speaker 2: over the influencer, we make make sure it's proven. We
- 1:40:57Speaker 2: take it to a million dollars a month, and then
- 1:40:59Speaker 2: once we get to a million dollars a month week
- 1:41:01Speaker 2: give the micro investors a chance to get into it
- 1:41:05Speaker 2: and becoming the advocates and the micro investors and the
- 1:41:08Speaker 2: people that really helped push the product, and then we
- 1:41:10Speaker 2: raise the traditional round right after that. So it's called
- 1:41:13Speaker 2: social seed.
- 1:41:14Speaker 3: There you have it, ladies, and gentlemen, how can how
- 1:41:16Speaker 3: can they follow you? Social media handles and all of that.
- 1:41:19Speaker 2: Yeah, I am spectacular, man, I am spectacular. Make sure
