Bo Horvat Takes Captaincy | New York Islanders News
Bo Horvat just became the New York Islanders’ new captain — the 16th to don the ‘C’ — stepping into the role after Anders Lee’s departure to the Utah Mammoth. Acquired in a January 2023 trade from Vancouver, where he was also captain, Horvat has already made his mark with 99 goals and 99 assists in 260 games, including a stellar 31-goal, 57-point season last year. Now, with the team set to open their campaign against the Toronto Maple Leafs on September 30, fans are eager to see how Horvat leads them in his first full season as skipper.
