Does the Bible Support Abortion?
Abortion supporters will often claim that the Bible supports abortion. For example, they’ll say that life begins at the first breath according to Genesis 2:7, meaning that the unborn isn’t actually alive yet. Or they’ll say that killing a child in the womb doesn’t constitute murder in Exodus 21. And most shockingly, pro-choicers will claim that Numbers 5 gives people instructions for how to perform an abortion. But as a pro-life Christian, I’m going to show you why the Bible doesn’t support abortion, and that it very clearly condemns it.
