- 0:00Ezekiel Chapter 7. First let's pray.
- 0:03Dear God, please be with us as we read through this chapter and
- 0:07let our eyes be opened. Our eyes, our minds, let the
- 0:10Holy Spirit reveal things. We ask this in Jesus name, Amen.
- 0:15So this is titled in my NIV version.
- 0:18The end has come for this chapter, and after reading it, I
- 0:24do believe this is one of those passages that has a double
- 0:29fulfillment. It had a fulfillment, you know,
- 0:34in the future of Ezekiel's time, but I think it also has a
- 0:38fulfillment that is yet to come. And I will point out the reasons
- 0:42why and the scripture that supports that.
- 0:45So first, I think I'll just read through this, or maybe I'll just
- 0:48read through and stop as I come to the points that I want to
- 0:53make. So it's all together.
- 0:55So let's get started. The word of the Lord came to me,
- 0:58Son of Man, This is what the sovereign Lord says to the land
- 1:03of Israel. So this is specifically to the
- 1:05land of Israel. The end.
- 1:09The end has come upon the four corners of the land.
- 1:15The end is now upon you. And I will unleash my anger
- 1:20against you. I will judge you according to
- 1:23your conduct and repay you for all your detestable practices.
- 1:29I will not look on you with pity.
- 1:32I will not spare you. I will surely repay you for your
- 1:36conduct and for the detestable practices among you.
- 1:41So first stuff when I read this is the four corners part where
- 1:48it says upon the four corners of the land.
- 1:52So the study Bible addresses this.
- 1:55What were the four corners of the land?
- 1:57This was a colloquial expression not meant to be understood
- 2:03literally. It was a way of saying the whole
- 2:06land of Israel. So yes, I agree with that.
- 2:11But also when we read that the Bible, all these books are
- 2:17interrelated and I do recall the four corners being mentioned
- 2:23before. And if you do a word search in
- 2:26an electronic Bible likeblueletterbible.org and just
- 2:31search for corners. Now I've searched it in the NIV
- 2:35version. So there may be different
- 2:36results based on which version you search in.
- 2:40But in the NIV, it occurred 43 times in 17 verses in the NIV.
- 2:47And I don't remember if I spoke of this in a prior podcast
- 2:53because I had researched this some time ago, in the past three
- 3:00days or so. And I was, but I was, I guess,
- 3:02saving it to the chapter where it actually became relevant.
- 3:08This is Chapter 7 and I thought I was going to cover multiple
- 3:12chapters but they turned out being too long so I didn't get
- 3:15to them. Anyway, if I repeated this I'm
- 3:19sorry I can't remember, but it was something that I discovered
- 3:22when you search the four corners.
- 3:24Something that stood out to me was the design of the ark of or
- 3:31the altar. The the table, the altar that
- 3:35God gave back in Exodus. So in Exodus 2526 in the NIV
- 3:44version this is the first time four corners are talked about
- 3:48and and it says make 4 gold rings for the table and fasten
- 3:56them to the four corners where the four legs are.
- 4:01And then in Exodus 27 two it says make a horn at each of the
- 4:06four corners so that the horns and the altar are of one piece
- 4:11and overlay the altar with bronze.
- 4:15Now when God does things, when he gives direction, we know that
- 4:20it often is symbolic of something future.
- 4:25Just like the Passover was symbolic of Jesus dying on the
- 4:30cross and his blood protecting. And the Israelites had to put
- 4:34the blood of the Lamb on their doorpost to be protected from
- 4:38the Angel of death. In the story of the Passover, in
- 4:43the same way the blood of Jesus protects US against the Angel of
- 4:48death. It gives us eternal life in
- 4:51God's Kingdom. So when we see the four corners,
- 4:57this just came to me when I was searching, doing this word
- 5:01search, four corners, I thought, wow, this is interesting because
- 5:05the horn, if you look in Bible prophecy, the horn like in
- 5:09Revelation and other places, the horn symbolizes power.
- 5:16It symbolizes, you know, kind of like a yeah, like, OK, in the
- 5:23Book of Revelation, it talks about the number of horns that
- 5:27are on the beast, and those represent kingdoms.
- 5:30The Book of Revelation defines that for us.
- 5:32It tells us that the horns are specifically kings or kingdoms.
- 5:37Their powers, if you want to just simplify it, whatever, they
- 5:40are their powers. And I find it interesting that
- 5:45God designed this altar with four corners and the
- 5:51significance of this. I'm just going to read the
- 5:54verses that reference four corners because maybe you'll
- 5:57you'll pick up on this too. It says make a grading for it, a
- 6:03bronze network, and make a bronze ring at each of the four
- 6:08corners of the network. There's probably, I think
- 6:12there's something more with this bronze, especially when you
- 6:15start thinking about the dream that Nebuchadnezzar had of the
- 6:19statue and all the different materials.
- 6:23I do think that may play into this as well.
- 6:27The materials that God chose probably represent things, but I
- 6:31I'm not going to go that deep because I didn't research that
- 6:34enough, but I'm just thinking that there might be some
- 6:37significance in that. And then in Exodus 37, they cast
- 6:424 gold rings for the table and fastened them to the four
- 6:47corners where the four legs were.
- 6:50Exodus 38, they made a horn at each of the four corners so that
- 6:55the horns and the altar were of one piece, and they overlaid the
- 7:00altar with bronze. Exodus 38, five, it says they
- 7:05cast bronze rings to hold the poles for the four corners of
- 7:10the bronze grating. Then we get in to Deuteronomy.
- 7:15Well, I, I, I want to talk a little bit more because I don't
- 7:21know, I don't remember now if it talks about OK, it does.
- 7:26We're getting there. So I guess I'm going to jump to
- 7:30Ezekiel 43, verse 20. It says you are to take some of
- 7:38its blood and put it on the four horns of the altar and on the
- 7:45four corners of the upper ledge and all around the rim, and so
- 7:53purify the altar and make atonement for it and then, OK,
- 8:01so I guess I'll read this one too.
- 8:03Ezekiel 45, verse 19 says the priest is to take some of the
- 8:08blood of the sin offering and put it on the doorpost of the
- 8:12temple, on the four corners of the upper ledge of the altar and
- 8:17on the gate. The inner court, actually.
- 8:23OK, I want to go back to Ezekiel 4320.
- 8:28Read that again. You were to take some of the
- 8:29blood and put it on the four horns of the altar and on the
- 8:34four corners of the upper ledge and all around the rim, and so
- 8:41purify the altar and make atonement for it.
- 8:45This I think is symbolic again of Jesus.
- 8:48So the four horns are the 4 powers and the blood of Christ
- 8:55overcomes the four horns. And there's something I, I don't
- 9:03know if this is relevant at all, but on the beast, the eventual
- 9:08beast, there are these, there are essentially 4 horns that
- 9:11come up. There are three of them, but
- 9:14then one comes up after and pushes out the three.
- 9:17It replaces the three. So essentially there are four
- 9:20and it says the last one is the 8th 1.
- 9:23He belongs to the beast and he is like the lawless one or the
- 9:27one that people call the Antichrist or the, I don't know
- 9:31what other label he has, but he's the he's the last one that
- 9:36comes up and kind of in, in the end times.
- 9:39And so I don't know if it's significant that, you know, by
- 9:43the blood of the lamb. It says, you know, like the
- 9:46followers of Jesus overcome him by the blood of the lamb.
- 9:51Do those four corners, the four horns, represent for rulers who
- 9:57are displaced by this one man? And yet Jesus overcomes them all
- 10:06with the blood of the Lamb and to purify the altar.
- 10:10So the that's what Jesus's blood does.
- 10:13He purified mankind, those who trust in Him and to make
- 10:19atonement for it. So atonement for the altar, you
- 10:24know, this is a change of things.
- 10:26This is in Ezekiel 43. So it's just something that I
- 10:31read. And when I was reading it, I was
- 10:33like, wait a second. This could have some symbolic
- 10:35meaning. I don't know if it does or not,
- 10:39but it just really stood out to me because there's so much when
- 10:43you search for corners that it talks about the altar and and so
- 10:49forth. And, and this is kind of
- 10:53interesting too. I don't remember if it was Peter
- 10:56or if it was Saul. I think it was Peter.
- 10:59I have to click on it. Acts 10.
- 11:01It was Peter when he was up on the rooftop and he had this
- 11:05vision of this sheet coming down with all of these unclean foods
- 11:09on it and what God essentially was telling him that none of
- 11:14those things are to be considered unclean.
- 11:16And he was really referring to the Gentiles because Peter was
- 11:20going to have an interaction with a man and then people were
- 11:23going to be saved at that point. And at the same time, God was
- 11:28giving instructing A Gentile person to seek out Peter and to
- 11:35find him like God speaks to people.
- 11:38So he was making paths cross of these people so that his will
- 11:43could be done, that someone would arrive in the Kingdom
- 11:46there, you know, they would they would be saved.
- 11:49And that's like God's ultimate purpose.
- 11:52And, and so I don't know if the the four corners have
- 11:56significance in that besides, you know, a sheet is typically a
- 12:00square, a rectangle. And so that could just be a
- 12:04literal and not significant, but you know, that it's mentioned
- 12:09and it has to do with the, you know, in the context, it's about
- 12:13Gentiles coming to faith and being saved, you know, beyond
- 12:17the Jews or beyond Israel. It's expanding God's Kingdom to
- 12:23that that may be significant and God's power to overcome.
- 12:28And he just repeats four corners to kind of emphasize a point
- 12:36that's in Acts 10 and Acts 11, if you want to read that.
- 12:39And then we get to the Book of Revelation where there are four,
- 12:44it's, I'll just read it. Revelation 7 verse one.
- 12:47After this, I saw 4 angels standing at the four corners of
- 12:53the earth holding back the four winds of the earth to prevent
- 12:57any wind from blowing on the land or on the sea or any tree.
- 13:02And so they're standing at the four corners.
- 13:07And that could, just like this study Bible says for the land of
- 13:10Israel, that could just mean the whole extent of the earth, that
- 13:15the four angels are standing at the four corners of the earth
- 13:18holding back the four winds. I did look up winds to find out
- 13:22if it was pneuma or something like that.
- 13:24But it is not pneuma. It's not the same like the word
- 13:27for spirit. It is something different than
- 13:31that. And I'll go to what it says the
- 13:33four winds are like. Here's what it says, or here's
- 13:37the Greek word for it strongs G 417 animas animus, and animus
- 13:49means like a wind, a violent agitation and stream of air, a
- 13:54very strong temptuous wind. The four principal are cardinal
- 13:59winds, hence the four corners of heaven.
- 14:03So I guess that could be NE southwest like this is coming
- 14:07from everywhere. This is what it's going to be
- 14:10and that kind of seems to hold true when we see that, you know,
- 14:17there is going to be a future devastation of the earth by God
- 14:22in the transition to his Kingdom because he is riding the earth
- 14:26of evil. And then the last time the four
- 14:31corners in the NIV version is spoken of is in Revelation 20
- 14:35verses 8. And it says, and we'll go out to
- 14:39deceive the nations in the four corners of the earth, Gog and
- 14:44Magog, and to gather them for battle in the number.
- 14:49They are like the sand on the seashore.
- 14:52We probably need to read the the part before that because it
- 14:57doesn't make a whole lot of sense.
- 14:58So when the 1000 years are over, Satan will be released from his
- 15:03prison. So after Jesus reigns for 1000
- 15:07years, Satan will be released and will go out to deceive the
- 15:13nations in the four corners of the earth, Gog and Magog, and to
- 15:18gather them for the battle in the number.
- 15:21They are like the sand on the seashore, so there's a lot of
- 15:24them. They marched across the breath
- 15:27of the earth and surrounded the camp of God's people, the city
- 15:31he loves. But fire came down from heaven
- 15:35and devoured them, and the devil who deceived them was thrown
- 15:40into the lake of burning sulphur where the beast and the false
- 15:44prophet had been thrown. They will be tormented day and
- 15:49night, forever and ever. So that is that is like the the
- 15:56final battle. I mean, this is, you know, very
- 15:59far into the future. And there's a bunch of stuff
- 16:02that I looked up on Gog and Magog as well, and I will cover
- 16:05that soon. But right now we're just talking
- 16:08about the four corners. So the four corners could be and
- 16:12the horns of the four corners could be symbolic of powers that
- 16:18Jesus, it really has defeated with his death on the cross and
- 16:22resurrection. But there will come a day where
- 16:25there is where he comes to earth for that specific purpose to set
- 16:31up his Kingdom. So let's continue on to Chapter
- 16:377 of Ezekiel and the next. It's part of verse 4 and I'll
- 16:41start reading more so then you will know that I am the Lord.
- 16:46This is what the sovereign Lord says.
- 16:48Disaster, unheard of disaster. Now it says in my study Bible,
- 16:53most Hebrew manuscripts say that, but some Hebrew
- 16:57manuscripts and Syriac say disaster after disaster.
- 17:03So this sounds a lot like what Jesus said in Matthew 24.
- 17:08There will be wars and rumors of wars until the end.
- 17:12And I'm going to read that later because there's more references
- 17:15where it does sound like what Jesus said would happen.
- 17:20So it says, see, it comes, the end has come, the end has come.
- 17:25So this is another reason why the end has come.
- 17:30I mean, I, I think this is really talking about like the
- 17:33very end. However, I do believe it was
- 17:38evidenced by history that some of this did come true, but I
- 17:42don't think it was a full fulfillment of this prophecy.
- 17:47So continuing, it says it has roused itself against you.
- 17:53See, it comes. Doom has come upon you, upon you
- 17:58who dwell in the land. The time has come, the day is
- 18:01near. Now I think about the
- 18:04abomination of desolation that Jesus spoke up of in Matthew 24
- 18:09that was first referenced in the book of Daniel.
- 18:12I think it's chapters 911 and 12 that cover this topic.
- 18:19But just reading this, it's like that abomination of desolation
- 18:26is basically God allowing this to happen because of the
- 18:31idolatry that has occurred. It is the punishment that God
- 18:37talked about that he said from the very beginning, he warned
- 18:41them of, I think back in the book of Deuteronomy, he, he gave
- 18:45them blessings and curses. If you, if you follow, here's
- 18:48your blessings. If you don't, the this is your
- 18:50curse. And and it'll, it will later
- 18:54talk about, you know, fleeing to the mountains just like Jesus
- 18:57talked about. So doom has come upon you, upon
- 19:01you who dwell in the land. Now remember, this is talking
- 19:04about the land of Israel. There is panic, not joy, on the
- 19:09mountains. I am about to pour out my wrath
- 19:12on you and spend my anger against you.
- 19:16I will judge you according to your conduct and repay you for
- 19:21all your detestable practices. I will not look on you with
- 19:25pity. I will not spare you.
- 19:28I will repay you for your conduct and for the detestable
- 19:31practices among you. Then you will know that it is I,
- 19:36the Lord, who strikes you. See the day, see it comes.
- 19:42Doom has burst forth, The rod has budded.
- 19:48Arrogance has blossomed. Violence has arisen.
- 19:53A rod to punish the wicked. I'm going to pause there.
- 19:57That's in the middle of the verse 11 from Chapter 7, because
- 20:04this rod is kind of important too.
- 20:08So I, if you search, you can do this too.
- 20:11Search the rod in Scripture, just the word rod and we'll
- 20:16learn things from it. There are in the NIV version,
- 20:20there's 53 times in 49 verses. And the rod is discipline,
- 20:26basically, and it's a lot of different contexts throughout
- 20:31the Bible. Beginning in Exodus 21, verse 20
- 20:35is where it starts. I'm not going to read all of
- 20:38these things about the rod, but I am going to read about a few
- 20:49things that are because Jesus has a rod coming out of his
- 20:55mouth. And I was going to try and find
- 20:57that verse that it talks about. This is like in the end.
- 21:02But as I was doing this research about the rod, I found Isaiah
- 21:08chapter 10, verse 5. It said, woe to the Assyrian,
- 21:14the rod of my anger in whose hand is the club of my wrath.
- 21:21That one really stood out to me. And there's a lot of times where
- 21:24we talk about the Assyrian being the lawless 1.
- 21:28And Assyria was the one who historically had, you know,
- 21:32invaded the lands and, you know, is Assyria and Babylon.
- 21:39And this is also tying into some beliefs that I have is that
- 21:45there are spiritual entities that control certain areas of
- 21:48land. And I believe that something
- 21:55everlasting that was created by God to be to live forever is a
- 22:02spiritual entity that covers this land.
- 22:06Because you look at the alliances today and you can see
- 22:10that these alliances kind of hold through from the Bible.
- 22:13They're generally against Israel.
- 22:16And you wonder why for thousands and thousands of years.
- 22:20I mean, what we're seeing is a biblical is biblical chaos.
- 22:26Actually, it's from the Bible. It's talked about in the Bible
- 22:30and we are seeing it. People may think it's about all
- 22:33these other things, but as Paul says in Ephesians chapter 6
- 22:38verse 12, it's not flesh and blood that we're wrestling
- 22:41against. It's a spiritual entity.
- 22:43And I believe it's these principalities in the heavenly
- 22:48realms, the dark forces of evil that influence these people.
- 22:53And here in Isaiah chapter 10, verse 5, it says, woe to the
- 22:58Assyrian, the rod of my anger. God can use evil.
- 23:03God can use people who are not necessarily his chosen people to
- 23:13fulfill what he's done or that, you know, disobedient people.
- 23:17He can use disobedient people. And the way that I look at how
- 23:20he does this is the disobedient people have this, maybe they
- 23:24have this anger from the spiritual entity against the
- 23:27people of Israel. And the people of Israel aren't
- 23:31listening to God. So God's like, OK, you know,
- 23:35here, this is going to be the rod of my wrath, this person,
- 23:39and he lets everybody have free will.
- 23:43So this Assyrian has free will and he has anger and hatred
- 23:49towards Israel. So he's going to come against
- 23:52Israel and God's going to let that happen because God's not
- 23:59protecting them because of their idolatry, because they chose
- 24:02another God. They are they, they they've
- 24:05abandoned God. So he is not protecting them.
- 24:09If they've abandoned him and his protection is gone and he allows
- 24:14the Assyrian to do something, his purpose is really to turn
- 24:19Israel back towards him. It's not to get rid of them,
- 24:24it's really to turn them back to him.
- 24:25But they don't listen. They're stubborn.
- 24:27And, you know, we can be that same way.
- 24:30So it's, it's not necessarily, you know, just Israel, but what
- 24:34we're talking about right now is to the land of Israel.
- 24:37And so there's this Assyrian, the rod of his anger, who is
- 24:42going to do this. And just like the king of
- 24:46Babylon, Nebuchadnezzar, God used Nebuchadnezzar to
- 24:53discipline Israel or the tribe of Judah, the southern tribe of
- 24:58Judah. He used Babylon to do that.
- 25:01He used Nebuchadnezzar to do that.
- 25:03Nebuchadnezzar wanted to, He wanted to conquer and God
- 25:07allowed that because it was time for Israel to wake up and God
- 25:12was hoping they would wake up. And I'm sure some did and but
- 25:17not all of them. And so again, there's this
- 25:20Assyrian. So that kind of led me to like,
- 25:25I, you know, about this rod of discipline, the Assyrian.
- 25:28And let's see, I so I had a question about that and I just
- 25:35thought for a quick reference I would look up like is Isaiah 10
- 25:39past or future prophecy? Isaiah 10 contains prophecy with
- 25:45dual applications, an immediate historical fulfillment
- 25:49concerning Assyria's invasion of Judah during Hezekiah's reign
- 25:53around 7 O1 BC, and a future broader fulfillment pointing
- 25:59toward a final Assyrian figure and end times judgment, often
- 26:06seen as a type of the Antichrist or a final global enemy.
- 26:12The chapter describes God using Assyria as a rod for his anger,
- 26:18but promises judgment for a serious pride, a pattern that
- 26:24applies to historical events but also foreshadows future
- 26:28conflicts culminating in Christ reign.
- 26:32So this is just before the thousand year reign of Christ
- 26:35that this will happen. It ties in with all the
- 26:38scripture because the way Jesus outlines what's going to happen
- 26:44there's when you see the abomination of desolation,
- 26:47that's when all the people in Israel are supposed to flee to
- 26:51the mountains to avoid it because there will be stress
- 26:57distress greater than ever has ever been experienced before or
- 27:03ever will again will come on Israel at that point and shortly
- 27:10thereafter is when Jesus comes on the clouds.
- 27:14We'll talk about that when we look at the seals of Revelation.
- 27:18I think I probably covered this the seat Revelation chapter 6
- 27:21before, but it's relevant to this this like timeline of
- 27:25events that are happening that will happen, I guess.
- 27:29And so then the land of Assyria. So I was curious about, you
- 27:35know, all these ancient towns in the by not towns, but countries
- 27:38in the Bible do relate to lands that are modern.
- 27:43But if we don't know what they are, it it makes it hard to
- 27:47understand. So Assyrian land refers to the
- 27:52homeland of the Assyrian people in Upper Mesopotamia, modern day
- 27:58Iraq, Syria, Turkey, Iran. Now, are those four countries
- 28:08against Israel today? Were they in the past?
- 28:14The answer to both of those is yes.
- 28:16So there's Iraq, Syria, Turkey, Iran.
- 28:19Are those countries in modern day news right now?
- 28:24Absolutely, yes. In fact, today is the 9th of
- 28:27January 2026. And currently Iran has protests
- 28:34happening with the people and they've shut down the whole
- 28:36Internet. And there were, there was this
- 28:40rebellion from the people against the regime, but then
- 28:44everything went black. There's no information coming
- 28:49out after that. I'm sure they don't want the
- 28:52world to know what's coming right now, what's happening
- 28:55there. So there's internal chaos
- 28:58happening within Iran. There's also Iran is, you know,
- 29:03making their getting ready for nuclear battles.
- 29:09I mean, they're trying to get everything set up again to
- 29:15their, their enemies are basically the United States and
- 29:18Israel. the United States is often called big Satan and
- 29:21Israel is called little Satan. And it's just like, it's like a
- 29:25narcissistic thing and that God hates pride.
- 29:28And that's what is narcissism, right?
- 29:30Love of self and pride. And, and so a narcissist would
- 29:35turn around, you know, good for evil and evil for good.
- 29:40And and that's kind of what like Iran is doing right now.
- 29:45They're calling a God, I guess, a a God centered United States.
- 29:52Like we were created one nation under God.
- 29:57OK, So our alliance was to God and the founders were had
- 30:03Christian values. It was Christian,
- 30:05judeo-christian values. I mean our laws are written upon
- 30:09that and are based upon that. So there is a connection between
- 30:13Israel because of the Old Testament and the United States
- 30:17and the foundation of all of our laws.
- 30:19But we also have Islam coming in one to replace all the laws with
- 30:26Sharia law. And that's completely different.
- 30:29That's like from the enemy and but then they see that as good.
- 30:35I recently listened to a podcast with someone who was a jihadist
- 30:40who has now turned away from that and is actually a follower
- 30:43of Christ. And so he was giving a lot of
- 30:45insight to his childhood and what he learned and what was
- 30:49taught to him. And it was very eye opening and
- 30:54very it supports a lot of what I was assuming where he said that
- 31:01they really when they come into a land, they want to conquer the
- 31:05land. Now a lot of the Muslim people
- 31:08are not necessarily don't really have that conquering goal.
- 31:12A lot of times they just are seeking better places for their
- 31:15family. But the political element of
- 31:20Islam, when they get into a governmental, they are
- 31:23definitely trying to conquer and take over.
- 31:28That is their goal. That is the foundation of their
- 31:30religion. They want everyone to adhere to
- 31:34their doctrine and they want to implement Sharia law wherever
- 31:38they can be. So Islam is a political
- 31:41movement. And this is not my opinion.
- 31:44This is from the mouth of a former jihadist that said this
- 31:48and they are out to conquer, to take over.
- 31:52And because they think of us as big Satan in the United States,
- 31:56they want to conquer us because in their minds, which are
- 31:59distorted, they think that if they conquer us, it will be a
- 32:03good thing. But yet they are fleeing what
- 32:07they don't have. And, and the ironic thing is
- 32:09that this person said that they believe that Sharia law isn't
- 32:14been hasn't been implemented the way it should be.
- 32:17And that's why their countries that have Sharia law are in such
- 32:21disarray and chaos and they're completely blinded to could it
- 32:26perhaps be that they have an enemy, a spiritual enemy that is
- 32:31distorting right from wrong in their minds and that is why they
- 32:36are in chaos. But they aren't seeing that.
- 32:39So anyway, it's, it's the reality of today.
- 32:42And it's really interesting because I would say that these
- 32:46countries that were named as part of a Syria are generally
- 32:52Islamic countries. Iraq, Iraq is where Babylon
- 32:58started, so modern day Iraq. And then you have Syria, you
- 33:02have Turkey and Iran. So and there's these alliances.
- 33:07Look to see who is a lot allied today.
- 33:11So I think this is something that we you know, we're we're
- 33:14seeing we're seeing the Bible play out right now.
- 33:19I don't know how long it's going to take for all of this to
- 33:22unfold, but it's certainly you can't not see it if you know
- 33:28what's in the Bible. I mean, it's just it's there's
- 33:32no way to look past it. So then I had another question.
- 33:38Is the land of Assyria Magog? No, Assyria is generally not
- 33:43identified as Magog. While Assyria was a powerful
- 33:46ancient empire in Mesopotamia, modern day Iraq, Turkey, Syria.
- 33:51Forgot to add Iran to that. Magog is a land mentioned in the
- 33:56Bible, Genesis and Ezekiel whose location is debated, often
- 34:02linked by scholars to the Scythians, which would be modern
- 34:07Russia, Ukraine, Central Asia, or Lydia which is modern Turkey
- 34:13with no clear connection to Assyria, though both interacted
- 34:17with ancient people. So I would pause right there and
- 34:20say well that doesn't really make sense because there's a
- 34:24couple different things. First of all, it names Lydia,
- 34:27which is modern Turkey, so that is part of Assyria.
- 34:33So it could or couldn't be, but it's just like it's a much
- 34:37broader and that's why a lot of times Russia is thought of as
- 34:43Gog because of this, the Scythians, which Russia could
- 34:47be, but I don't know. We'll just have to wait and see.
- 34:51Or it could be something within, you know, Turkey or Iraq,
- 34:57Turkey, Syria, I don't know, just to keep our eyes open.
- 35:01But generally, and those are the lands to the north.
- 35:03So Israel, the prophecies are always talking about out of the
- 35:06north is going to come this this final lawless 1.
- 35:11So it could be all those places and we just have to pay
- 35:16attention to. So Magog biblically was
- 35:20genealogically, he was the grandson of Noah, son of
- 35:25Japheth, whose descendants settled north of Israel.
- 35:29If you look at a map of it, you know it, it does encompass all
- 35:35of those territories where you have Iraq, Turkey, Syria, I.
- 35:41Guess you know into. Like the the the Greek areas
- 35:46there were, I don't know if it's if I had that on here, but just
- 35:53I guess search Jaipeth territory and then you can see where where
- 35:59it is. In fact, I did search that.
- 36:01Which modern countries represent the land of Jaipeth?
- 36:05The land of Jaipeth, according to the biblical table of
- 36:08nations, represents regions in Europe, Anatolia, which is
- 36:13modern Turkey, the Aegean Sea and parts of Asia with his.
- 36:18Descendants. Linked to Indo European peoples
- 36:22like Greeks gave on medes and Persians.
- 36:26That's Irans area, Celts or Gomer and Scythians slash Slavs,
- 36:35which are Magog, tubal Meshech, Tiras.
- 36:39So Magog, Tubal Meshech, those are mentioned quite a bit in
- 36:44prophecy and so that's why the Scythians, I guess come up.
- 36:48Modern countries associated with these areas include.
- 36:52So here we go Now to make sense of it for us, Greece, Turkey,
- 36:57Iran, Russia, Germany, France, Britain and other European
- 37:05nations representing the broad spread of J PS lineage into
- 37:10Northern, Western and Eastern Europe and into Asia.
- 37:14So the the. Point of this like.
- 37:17I've, I've talked a whole lot about this, but this is Syrian.
- 37:22It it could be on it it it could.
- 37:26Be one of the same. It could be this, this land of
- 37:29Japheth, it could be from Turkey, it could be from Syria,
- 37:33it could be. I just think we have to keep our
- 37:35eyes open. But this Assyrian is going to be
- 37:39God's rod of wrath. So this person, you know, if
- 37:45people are looking for quote, the Antichrist or the lawless
- 37:49one, it's probably going to come from this area.
- 37:51It's kind of interesting if you look at this, that Germany was
- 37:55listed in this and you know how prophecy sometimes gets
- 37:58fulfilled multiple times. What about Hitler?
- 38:01Don't you think maybe Hitler was a partial fulfillment of this
- 38:05prophecy too? If he's in that area, he comes
- 38:08from the same area. This also talks about like the
- 38:11principalities that potentially the dark powers that have some
- 38:15sort of rulership over these areas.
- 38:18It's just something to pay attention to.
- 38:20If you're interested in this, you know, research it and look
- 38:24into it for yourself. But it's just something I became
- 38:27aware of, and I think it's important for people to open up
- 38:31their minds and just pay attention to this.
- 38:34Now, getting back to the rod that was talked about in verse
- 38:3811 from the book of Ezekiel, it's also talking about this rod
- 38:43budding and blooming. And that takes us back to
- 38:47Aaron's rod. And so I'll read what the study
- 38:51Bible says. How would a budding rod be a
- 38:54sign of judgement? The rod was a symbol of the
- 38:57pride of the Israelites, a picture of their presumed
- 39:01authority. A rod that had budded indicated
- 39:05that their arrogance had blossomed.
- 39:08It was a sign of judgement in the same way that Aaron's staff
- 39:13had been a sign to the rebellious.
- 39:16So going back to the story about Aaron, it's in Numbers chapter
- 39:2217 verse 10, the Lord said to Moses, put back Aaron's staff in
- 39:29front of the ark of the covenant law to be kept here.
- 39:33It is as a sign to the rebellious this.
- 39:39Will an. End to their grumbling against
- 39:42me so that they will not die so. That's that's kind of
- 39:48interesting. I.
- 39:48Can I'll read the the budding of Aaron's staff because if you
- 39:52aren't familiar with it I'll try to read it quickly.
- 39:55The Lord said to Moses, this is chapter 17 of Numbers.
- 39:59Chapter 17. The Lord said to Moses, speak to
- 40:01the Israelites and get 12 Staffs from them, one from the leader
- 40:05of each of their ancestral tribes.
- 40:07Write the name of each man on his staff.
- 40:10On the staff of Levi write Aaron's name, for there must be
- 40:14one staff for the head of each. Ancestral tribe, place them in
- 40:19the tent of the meeting in front of the Ark of the Covenant,
- 40:21where I meet with you. The staff belonging to the man I
- 40:25choose will sprout, and I will rid myself of this constant
- 40:30grumbling against you by the Israelites.
- 40:34So Moses spoke to the Israelites, and their leaders
- 40:36gave him 12 Staffs, one for the leader of each of their
- 40:40ancestral tribes, and Aaron's staff was among them.
- 40:44Moses placed the Staffs before the Lord in the tent of the
- 40:48covenant law. The next day, Moses entered the
- 40:52tent and saw that Aaron's staff, which represented the tribe of
- 40:56Levi, had not only sprouted, but had budded, blossomed, and
- 41:01produced almonds then. Moses brought out.
- 41:05All the Staffs, from the Lord's presence to all the Israelites,
- 41:09they looked at them and each of the leaders took his own staff.
- 41:13The Lord said to Moses, put back Aaron's staff in front of the
- 41:17Ark of the Covenant to be kept as a sign to the rebellious.
- 41:20This will prevent their grumbling against me so that
- 41:23they will not die. Moses did just as the Lord
- 41:27commanded him. The Israelites said to Moses, we
- 41:30will die, we are lost, we are all lost.
- 41:33Anyone who even comes near the Tabernacle, Tabernacle of the
- 41:37Lord will die. Are we all going to die?
- 41:40And it goes on further. But the point was about the
- 41:44budding staff, so it says. So that's the first part of the
- 41:50of the rod has budded and then violence has arisen, a rod to
- 41:54punish the wicked. And it says none of the people
- 41:57will be left, none of the crowd, none of their wealth.
- 42:01I'm back in Ezekiel, nothing of value.
- 42:06The time has come, the day has arrived.
- 42:11Let not the buyer rejoice, nor the seller grieve, for my wrath
- 42:17is on the whole crowd. He's talking to the land of
- 42:20Israel. The seller will not recover the
- 42:23property, property that was sold, as long as both the buyer
- 42:28and seller live. I think there's probably more to
- 42:31that for the vision concerning the whole crowd will not be
- 42:36reversed. So that he's pretty much saying
- 42:38this will happen. It's it's not going to be
- 42:41reversed because of their sins. Not one of them will preserve
- 42:47their life. They have blown the trumpet.
- 42:53They have made all things ready, but no one will go into battle
- 42:58for my wrath is on the whole crowd.
- 43:01So this is, this is kind of interesting about the trumpet
- 43:05sounding. And you go back to the original
- 43:08tribes and they had trumpet sounds for different things.
- 43:12They there were two different kinds of trumpet sounds.
- 43:15One of them was going to war and another one was calling together
- 43:19for an assembly and they had, I guess, you know, just to
- 43:23assemble. And so there were two purposes,
- 43:26generally speaking, way back in the beginning.
- 43:30So I think it's interesting about this trumpet sounding.
- 43:33And in this context, it's saying, you know, they have made
- 43:36all things ready, but no one will go into battle.
- 43:38So this is like a battle, a trumpet sound.
- 43:40So Israel, the way I'm seeing this now, if you apply it to end
- 43:47times, Israel is going to be all ready to fight against this
- 43:51enemy, but this enemy is going to do something that devastates
- 43:57Israel. Because it's the wrath of God.
- 44:02And then it says verse 15 of Ezekiel 7, outside is the sword,
- 44:08inside our plague and famine. God uses the sword plague and
- 44:12famine historically over and over and over again repeatedly.
- 44:19If you look back about how he this was basically his judgement
- 44:24that came upon people and then we see this also reflected in
- 44:31the seals in the Book of Revelation chapter 6.
- 44:34We see. So let's compare these.
- 44:39Outside is the sword, and this is what.
- 44:44Revelation 64. Says then another horse came
- 44:48out, a fiery red one. It's rider was given power to
- 44:51take peace from the earth and to make people kill each other.
- 44:55To him was given a large sword. So there you go at so that is
- 45:00the second seal. Right before that verse 3 says
- 45:05when the Lamb opened the second seal.
- 45:08So the second seal is the sword is war.
- 45:13Then the third seal this it says when the lamb opened the third
- 45:17seal this is the lamb is also Jesus.
- 45:20So Jesus is opening these. I heard the third living
- 45:24creature say come. I looked and there before me was
- 45:29a Black Horse. It's rider was holding a pair of
- 45:32scales in his hand when I heard what sounded like a voice among
- 45:36the four creatures saying 2 lbs of wheat for a day's wages and 6
- 45:41lbs of barley for a day's wages and do not damage the oil and
- 45:46the wine. So this does sound like it cost
- 45:51a lot. It sounds like inflation,
- 45:53scarcity could, which would be famine.
- 45:58People won't be able to buy things, so there will be a
- 46:01famine. There's supply and demand.
- 46:03Things cost a lot more when there's less of it, when there's
- 46:06scarcity. So there would be a famine
- 46:10essentially for this one. And this is the third seal then
- 46:16the. 4th seal that. Comes I looked and there before
- 46:19me was a pale horse. It's rider was named Death, and
- 46:23Hades was following close behind him.
- 46:25They were given power over a fourth of the earth to kill by
- 46:32sword, famine and plague. That's exactly what three things
- 46:37God talks about. So this this is the fourth seal
- 46:41where I guess plague gets added to it and by the wild beasts of
- 46:46the earth. So at the 4th seal, there's
- 46:50sword, famine, plague and wild beasts that are happening.
- 46:55And this is This is why I think it's talking about the future.
- 46:59And then not only that, but it talks about the 1/4 of the earth
- 47:03being killed. And so I don't believe we are
- 47:06there. That's a massive war at the 4th
- 47:10seal. To.
- 47:15So then. Going back to Ezekiel.
- 47:17Because that's pretty much what it just talks about up to that
- 47:20point. Those in the country will die by
- 47:23the sword. Those in the city will be
- 47:25devoured by famine and plague. The fugitives who escape will
- 47:31flee to the mountains. So this is.
- 47:35What? Jesus says about fleeing to the
- 47:38mountains in Matthew 24 verse 16.
- 47:42It says then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains.
- 47:48So I think this is going to, I'm going to read chapter 24.
- 47:55I know I've read it before, but it's important to get everything
- 47:58in context. So at the top, Jesus left the
- 48:02temple and was walking away when the disciples came up to him to
- 48:06call his attention to its buildings.
- 48:08Do you see all these things? He asked.
- 48:10Truly, I tell you, not one stone here will be left on another.
- 48:16Everyone will be thrown down. As Jesus was sitting on the
- 48:20Mount of Olives, the disciples came to him privately.
- 48:24Tell us, they said, when will this happen and what will be the
- 48:27sign of your coming and of the end of the age?
- 48:33Jesus answered. Watch out that no one deceives
- 48:36you, for many will come in my name, claiming I am the Messiah
- 48:43and will deceive many. You will hear of wars and rumors
- 48:47of wars, but see to it that you are not alarmed.
- 48:51Such things must happened, but the end is still to come.
- 48:55Nation will rise against nation and Kingdom against Kingdom.
- 49:01There will be famines and earthquakes in various places
- 49:05that's happening right now, Nation against nation, Kingdom
- 49:08against Kingdom, famines, earthquakes in various places,
- 49:12Those are all happening. In fact, earthquakes are
- 49:14becoming more intense, more numerous and intense in it, in
- 49:20their significance. And in fact, I found an article
- 49:25when I was researching this years ago that they were taking
- 49:30off the graph that was showing the frequency of earthquakes
- 49:34because people were getting alarmed by it because it was
- 49:36showing this like exponential, this gradual hill on a graph,
- 49:41how things were increasing and, and supposedly they, they don't
- 49:47continue to do that. So you I don't know if you can
- 49:50still find it or not, but I can't.
- 49:54Remember the publication that I. Read that in but there is some
- 49:57if you look at the frequency and intensity of earthquakes are
- 50:02escalating. So all these are the beginning
- 50:06of the birth pains. So these are the signs that
- 50:09Jesus is giving us. They're the beginning of the
- 50:11birth pains. When we see all these things,
- 50:13then you will be handed over to be persecuted and put to death
- 50:18and you will be hate, hated by all nations because of me.
- 50:24At that time, many will. Turn away from the faith and
- 50:27will betray and hate each other and many false prophets will
- 50:31appear and deceive many people because the increase of
- 50:35wickedness, the love of most will grow cold.
- 50:39But the one who stands firm to the end will be saved.
- 50:44And this gospel of the Kingdom will be preached in the whole
- 50:49world as a testimony to all nations and then the end will
- 50:54come. So I think that's important that
- 50:57God is just he doesn't a lot of people say, well, what about
- 51:02these people in these remote islands who never heard about
- 51:05the gospel? Well, Jesus himself said, and
- 51:10this gospel of the Kingdom will be preached in the whole world
- 51:15as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come.
- 51:19God isn't unfair. He is a just God.
- 51:24So he gives everyone the opportunity.
- 51:27And we see, I forgot what chapter it was in Revelation,
- 51:31but it's during the wrath and it says that the Angel went out and
- 51:36proclaimed the gospel to all nations.
- 51:38Now whether that is a literal Angel or if it's simply a
- 51:43messenger of God, I don't know what it is.
- 51:47We will only know in hindsight if it's a literal Angel or if
- 51:52it's a messenger. But God assures that everyone
- 51:56will have the gospel given to them, and it's a matter of what
- 52:01people do after the gospel is given to them.
- 52:04So that's in Matthew 24, verse 14.
- 52:08Then it. Comes to.
- 52:11So when you see standing in the holy place, the abomination that
- 52:16causes desolation, spoken of through the prophet Daniel, let
- 52:20the reader understand. Then let those who are in Judea
- 52:25flee to the mountains. Let no one on the housetop go
- 52:30down to take anything out of the house.
- 52:33Let no one in the field go back to get their cloak.
- 52:36How dreadful it will be in those days for pregnant women and
- 52:40nursing mothers. Pray that your flight will not
- 52:43take place in winter or on the Sabbath, for then there will be
- 52:49great distress, unequalled from the beginning of the world until
- 52:54now, and never to be equaled again.
- 52:58We have not been there yet. This is the future.
- 53:02If those days had not been cut short, no one would survive, but
- 53:07for the sake of the elect, those days will be shortened at that
- 53:12time. If anyone says to you, look,
- 53:14here is the Messiah or there he is, do not believe it.
- 53:19For false messiahs and false prophets will appear and perform
- 53:23great signs and wonders to deceive if possible, even the
- 53:28elect. See I have told you ahead of
- 53:30time. So if anyone tells you there he
- 53:34is out in the wilderness, do not go out, or here he is in the
- 53:38inner rooms, do not believe it. For as lightning that comes from
- 53:44the east is visible even in the West, so will be the coming of
- 53:49the Son of Man. So this sounds like everybody's
- 53:53going to see it, like they see lightning in the sky.
- 53:56It's going to be seen by a bunch of people.
- 53:58Don't let individual people tell you here he is.
- 54:01He's here and you know, this is a secret thing.
- 54:03Like he's over here. Like don't believe it.
- 54:06And apparently there's going to be people who and they're going
- 54:09to do signs and wonders too. So that's going to really
- 54:11deceive people unless they know, you know, that Jesus, when he
- 54:16resurrected, when he went up, when he ascended into the
- 54:19heavens, the Angel that was present there said the same way
- 54:23that he departed, he will return.
- 54:26Jesus went up into the clouds. He is coming on the clouds so
- 54:30people will see him. So verse 20. 8 Wherever there is
- 54:34a carcass, there the vultures will gather.
- 54:37Immediately after the distress of those days.
- 54:41The sun will be darkened and the moon will not give its light.
- 54:45The stars will fall from the sky, and the heavenly bodies
- 54:49will be shaken. Then will appear the sign of the
- 54:53Son of Man in heaven, and then all the peoples of the earth
- 54:57will mourn when they see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of
- 55:02heaven with power and great glory.
- 55:06And he will send his angels with a loud trumpet call.
- 55:10There's that gathering, the trumpet gathering, and they will
- 55:13gather his elect from the four winds, from one end of the
- 55:17heavens to the other, another. The gospel says from the heavens
- 55:22and the earth. So it's not just a heavenly
- 55:24gathering, but it's from the earth also.
- 55:26I don't know which one is right, but I just want to point that
- 55:30out. So you'd want to look at
- 55:31probably Mark chapter 13 and Luke chapter 21 and compare what
- 55:36they document as this portion because like I said it.
- 55:41Says Heavens. And earth on one of them and one
- 55:43and the other one just says heavens.
- 55:45So who's right? I don't know.
- 55:49So now learn this lesson from the fig tree.
- 55:53As soon as its twigs get tender and its leaves come out, you
- 55:56know that summer is near. Even so, when you see all these
- 55:59things, you know that it is near right at the door.
- 56:03Truly, I tell you, this generation will certainly not
- 56:06pass away until all these things have happened.
- 56:09Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will never pass
- 56:12away. And I'm going to continue.
- 56:17But about that day or hour, no one knows, not even the angels
- 56:21in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father.
- 56:25So I guess that's something we need to remember, that the only
- 56:29one who knows the day or the hour is the Father.
- 56:36And if any Angel tells somebody something and it says even the
- 56:40Son doesn't know, so it's only the father who knows that day
- 56:46and hour. As it was in the days of Noah.
- 56:52So it will be at the coming of the Son of Man, for in the days
- 56:56before the flood people were eating and drinking, marrying
- 57:00and giving, giving in marriage up to the day Noah entered the
- 57:03ark, and they knew nothing about what would happen until the
- 57:07flood came and took them all away.
- 57:10That is how it will be at the coming of the Son of Man.
- 57:13Two men will be in the field, one will be taken and the other
- 57:17left. Two women will be grinding out
- 57:19the hand mill, one will be taken and the other left.
- 57:22Therefore keep watch, because you do not know what day your
- 57:25Lord will come. But understand this, if the
- 57:27owner of the house had known what time of night the thief was
- 57:31coming, he would have kept watch, and would have not let
- 57:34his house be broken into. So you also must be ready,
- 57:39because the Son of Man will come in an hour when you do not
- 57:43expect him. Who then is?
- 57:46The faithful and. Wise servant who the master has
- 57:48put in charge of the servants in his household to give them their
- 57:52food at the proper time. When I read.
- 57:56This I think this is also kind of symbolic.
- 57:58The proper food, the their food at the proper time.
- 58:01It's I, I think it's kind of symbolic of Jesus being the
- 58:06bread of life and that people need this food.
- 58:09You know, the word of God also, it's the word.
- 58:12Jesus is the word. The word is scripture at the
- 58:15proper time. Like it's important to whoever
- 58:17is the faithful servant of God to be sharing this with people.
- 58:22So it will be good for that servant whose master finds him
- 58:25doing so when he returns. Truly I tell you, he will put
- 58:30him in charge of all his possessions.
- 58:32But suppose that servant is wicked and says to itself, my
- 58:36master is staying away a long time.
- 58:38Think about this Jesus, it's been 2000 years.
- 58:42He hasn't returned and people who are servants or you know,
- 58:47they, they could get tired of waiting and they say like he
- 58:51hasn't, you know, this has been proclaimed forever.
- 58:53It's never going to happen. You know, it definitely will
- 58:56happen. But you know, some people may
- 58:58get, you know, just saying, gosh, this is forever.
- 59:02And there's a warning here that suppose that servant is wicked
- 59:06and says to himself, my master is staying away a long time.
- 59:09Like we shouldn't be having that attitude towards this.
- 59:15And then the servant, he begins to beat his fellow servants and
- 59:21to eat and drink with drunkards. So he quits being a servant
- 59:26basically. And he starts beating up his
- 59:29fellow servants and eating and drinking with drunkards.
- 59:33The master of that servant talking about the Lord will come
- 59:38on a day when he does not expect him and at an hour he is not
- 59:42aware of. He will cut him to pieces and
- 59:45assign him a place with the hypocrites.
- 59:48So hypocrites, that's important to see.
- 59:50Like with the hypocrites where there will be weeping and
- 59:54gnashing of the teeth. So it's important for us not to
- 59:57be hypocrites. If we call ourselves a
- 59:59Christian, we better be living it out, because right here,
- 1:00:03Jesus's own words. Doesn't sound very promising for
- 1:00:08hypocrites. And I think this is a word of
- 1:00:11warning to us. Like Jesus foretold this so that
- 1:00:14we could all be warned, so that we could be prepared, so we know
- 1:00:18what's going to happen and so that we don't fall into that
- 1:00:21trap and turn into a hypocrite and beat up our fellow servants
- 1:00:26and go out and get drunk. I mean, this is what Jesus is
- 1:00:29warning of, and he's telling in advance thousands of years ago.
- 1:00:34Pay attention to this. So I'm going to go back to the
- 1:00:39book of Ezekiel and the Butt because we just talked about
- 1:00:44fleeing to the mountains. So that was the warning that
- 1:00:46Jesus gave in Matthew 24. Then it says like doves of the
- 1:00:50valleys, they will all moan, each for their own sins.
- 1:00:53Every hand will go limp, every leg will be wet with urine.
- 1:00:59So this one also had some verses that Isaiah 13 seven and
- 1:01:08Jeremiah 6. I I don't know where I'd left
- 1:01:13that. I missed that one but OK so I
- 1:01:22paid attention. I don't know.
- 1:01:23Go limp is occurs in six times and three verses in the NIV.
- 1:01:28Because of all this, all hands will go limp, every heart will
- 1:01:32melt with fear. This is Isaiah chapter 13 and
- 1:01:36this is about like Babylon. So Ezekiel 717 says, every hand
- 1:01:42will go limp, every leg will be wet with urine.
- 1:01:45And then Ezekiel 21 says, And when they ask you, why are you
- 1:01:49groaning, you shall say because of the news that is coming,
- 1:01:53every heart will melt with fear, every hand go limp, every spirit
- 1:01:59will become faint, and every leg will be wet with urine.
- 1:02:03It is coming, it will surely take place, declares the Lord.
- 1:02:09So like he said, this is going to be great distress that people
- 1:02:14have never seen before. But he's saying it is coming and
- 1:02:18he's giving people thousands of years to prepare for this.
- 1:02:24So in Jeremiah 6, I wanted to look that up.
- 1:02:28It's when Jerusalem is under siege and it Jeremiah chapter 6
- 1:02:38you Let's see I'm trying to figure out where I had seen that
- 1:02:42about like every hand grows limp, but I'm.
- 1:02:51I'm scanning through it, right? Now I've done, I had it saved at
- 1:02:54one point, but I guess I closed it in 6/22.
- 1:02:57He says this is what the Lord says, look, an army is coming
- 1:03:00from the land of the north. A great nation is being stirred
- 1:03:02up from the ends of the earth. That certainly sounds like.
- 1:03:09The End Times. And in Jeremiah 6, verse 24,
- 1:03:14here it is. This is what I was looking for.
- 1:03:16We have heard reports about them and our hands hang limp.
- 1:03:21Anguish has gripped us, pain like that of a woman in labor.
- 1:03:27So Jesus talks about the end times being like birth pains.
- 1:03:31And I, I've noticed that this limp hand and the woman in labor
- 1:03:37is about the end times. And so just like Jeremiah 6 also
- 1:03:41says this and Isaiah 13, seven, which I had just read, I think
- 1:03:49Isaiah 13 seven, I'm losing my place with all of these tabs
- 1:03:53that I have opened. Yeah, that just says because of.
- 1:03:58All those hands will go limp, and every heart will.
- 1:04:04Melt with fear. And that was a.
- 1:04:05Prophecy against Babylon and it's talking about like in verse
- 1:04:1013 or verse 6 from chapter 13, wail for the day of the Lord is
- 1:04:17near. It will come like destruction
- 1:04:19from the Almighty. And then again it says because
- 1:04:23of the all this hands will go limp.
- 1:04:25Every heart will melt with fear, terror will seize them, pain and
- 1:04:28anguish will grip them, and they will writhe like a woman in
- 1:04:31labor. They will look aghast at each
- 1:04:33other. The day of the Lord.
- 1:04:36It's, you know, this is see, the day of the Lord is coming, a
- 1:04:39cruel day with wrath and fierce anger to make the land desolate
- 1:04:45and destroy the sinners within it.
- 1:04:47The stars of the heaven and their constellations will not
- 1:04:50show their light. The rising sun will be darkened,
- 1:04:53and the moon will not give its light.
- 1:04:55So Isaiah is saying the same thing as Jesus did.
- 1:04:59There's the lawless one, and then the stars grow dark.
- 1:05:03The moon doesn't give its shunt, you know, doesn't give its
- 1:05:05light, and the stars fall down. Isaiah 1310 says that
- 1:05:11revelation. This happens in the 6th seal, so
- 1:05:17I'll I. Read up to the 4th.
- 1:05:18Seal. I'll read the 5th and the 6th
- 1:05:20seal. So when he opened the 5th seal,
- 1:05:22I saw under the altar the souls of those who had been slain
- 1:05:26because of the word of God and the testimony they had
- 1:05:28maintained. They called out in a loud voice,
- 1:05:31How long sovereign Lord, holy and true, until you judge the
- 1:05:35inhabitants of the earth and avenge our blood.
- 1:05:38Then each of them was given a white robe, and they were told
- 1:05:41to wait a little longer, until the full number of their fellow
- 1:05:44servants, their brothers and sisters, were killed just as
- 1:05:47they had been. Now comes the 6th seal.
- 1:05:50I watched as he opened the 6th seal.
- 1:05:52There was a great earthquake. The sun turned black like
- 1:05:56sackcloth made of goat hair. The whole moon turned blood red
- 1:06:01and the stars in the sky fell to the earth as figs drop from a
- 1:06:07fig tree when shaken by a strong wind.
- 1:06:11I think the stars, they are symbolic of angels.
- 1:06:16I think this is when heaven is shaken because it says in
- 1:06:19scripture the heavens will be shaken at the next time.
- 1:06:23And that's when I think all of the the disobedient rebellious
- 1:06:27angels will be cast down to the earth.
- 1:06:30And I think this does happen at the 6th seal and, and I think
- 1:06:35that's when you know, this is just like this description is
- 1:06:39happening over and over again. And the, the interesting thing
- 1:06:43about this is probably within nine months, maybe I don't
- 1:06:49remember now, but I can look it up.
- 1:06:51And I didn't before this podcast, but when when I got
- 1:06:55baptized, I started having dreams the night of my baptism
- 1:06:58and they continued. And I wasn't like seeking these
- 1:07:02dreams from God or anything like that, but they just came and I
- 1:07:06didn't quite get. The connection at first it took
- 1:07:10me. A while to realize what was
- 1:07:11going on, but then afterwards I was like, wait a second, I think
- 1:07:14this is like a message from God about things and it was
- 1:07:18revealing things in Scripture to me.
- 1:07:19It was really mainly personal. It wasn't like a necessarily a
- 1:07:23warning to the world or anything like that.
- 1:07:25It was just things to me personally that were being
- 1:07:30revealed. And but here's the interesting
- 1:07:34thing I had, you know, maybe it was like 9 months later or so
- 1:07:40after my first dream, I had a rapture dream.
- 1:07:43It was in April of 22. I remember this now and, and it
- 1:07:48was like, it was fantastic. Like it was awesome.
- 1:07:51And I remember having that dream and in my dream I was actually
- 1:07:56saying, Oh my God, this is real. Like this is really true.
- 1:08:00Like I was rising up in the air and you rising up in the air.
- 1:08:06Everything went black. And so when I after I realized
- 1:08:12that these dreams had some biblical significance, I started
- 1:08:15looking up like, is, is that true in Scripture or is that
- 1:08:21just part of my dream? But I don't know if I looked it
- 1:08:24up initially or if I looked it up after my third rapture dream,
- 1:08:30because I've had three rapture dreams.
- 1:08:33Which is also interesting because I've noticed in the
- 1:08:36Bible that God often repeats things three times when he in
- 1:08:41Scripture, like when he wants us to pay attention to it.
- 1:08:44Well, I had three rapture dreams and they were one of them was, I
- 1:08:50mean they were different scenes, but in the scene there was a
- 1:08:54consistent thing that happened. Everything went pitch black 1st
- 1:09:01and then the rapture came. So in each one of the dreams, in
- 1:09:06each one of the dreams had a different setting, but every
- 1:09:10single one of the dreams that happened first in the second
- 1:09:14dream, I was just warning people that don't worry because, you
- 1:09:19know, Jesus comes next. In my dream, that was my second
- 1:09:22dream, The first one I had, I remembered my first dream in my
- 1:09:27second dream, and I warned a couple people that I was with.
- 1:09:31I was like, don't worry, you know, this is Jesus is coming.
- 1:09:33I know what happens next, We're fine.
- 1:09:36Then in my third dream, the same thing happened.
- 1:09:39The interesting thing about the third dream, when was that like
- 1:09:44the first dream was so joyous. I mean, like I would love to
- 1:09:48relive that dream all over again because it was so pleasant and
- 1:09:52wonderful and it was like there was mystery.
- 1:09:55It was like a very long dream. It was there were a lot of
- 1:09:58different scenes with it and it was it was a wonderful dream.
- 1:10:02And the second one was very brief.
- 1:10:04And like I said, I was just warning other people. 1/3 dream.
- 1:10:07I was like, I, it was, I was, you know, it was good.
- 1:10:13It wasn't a negative thing. But when the way that the dream
- 1:10:17occurred, I, I like saw myself like a third person seeing
- 1:10:22myself, but felt it and I actually felt a pulling in my
- 1:10:26chest and I saw myself raise from my body up in, in my
- 1:10:32kitchen and the kitchen looked identical to the kitchen I have
- 1:10:36today. It's nothing different.
- 1:10:38Like a lot of times in dreams, you'll know it's your house, but
- 1:10:41you, you know, it's, it doesn't look the same.
- 1:10:44Well, in this dream it looked the same.
- 1:10:47And here's the other detail of that dream right before this
- 1:10:51happened. The, you know, the sirens that
- 1:10:54go off that are early warning sirens, they the sirens went off
- 1:10:59like warning and then everything went black, like electronics and
- 1:11:04everything went out. And then I laid down on the
- 1:11:09ground because my house was dark and I couldn't see anything and
- 1:11:14I didn't want to like stumble into anything.
- 1:11:16And I just thought I'll just wait until this light comes
- 1:11:18back. And that's when I all of a
- 1:11:21sudden had this vision in my dream of me where I could see me
- 1:11:27laying on the floor and then I could see my body raise and at
- 1:11:31the same time I was feeling a chest and I was going up.
- 1:11:35And then I woke up and to me it was like, Oh my gosh, did I
- 1:11:39just, you know, 'cause like these people that have near
- 1:11:41death experiences that they see those kinds of things.
- 1:11:43I like, did I just see my death or was this the rapture or what?
- 1:11:47So I don't know. But that was my third dream and
- 1:11:50I call it like a rapture dream. And and it was, it was a good
- 1:11:55thing, but it was also like, what did I just see?
- 1:11:58So I, I've told those close to me, I was like, if anything
- 1:12:02happens to me and it doesn't happen to a lot of other people,
- 1:12:06or if I die in my kitchen, I saw that, you know, like that's,
- 1:12:08that's what is going to, you know, potentially happen.
- 1:12:12I don't know. But anyway, that's I just
- 1:12:16thought I would share that. I don't know why I didn't intend
- 1:12:18to, but I just did. OK so verse 18 in Ezekiel
- 1:12:24Chapter 7 they will put on sackcloth and be clothed with
- 1:12:28terror. Every face will be covered with
- 1:12:30shame and every head will be shaved.
- 1:12:32They will throw their silver into the streets and their gold
- 1:12:35will be treated as a thing unclean.
- 1:12:37You know money is not going to save us.
- 1:12:39Their silver and gold will not be able to deliver them in the
- 1:12:43day of the Lords wrath. It will not satisfy their hunger
- 1:12:48or fill their stomachs for it has caused them to stumble into
- 1:12:52sin. They took pride in their
- 1:12:54beautiful jewelry and used it to make detestable idols.
- 1:12:58Like what do we use our resources for?
- 1:13:00Is it for God or is it something that is not of God?
- 1:13:08They made it into vile images, therefore I will make it a thing
- 1:13:12unclean for them. I will give their wealth as
- 1:13:15plunder to foreigners and as loot to the wicked of the earth
- 1:13:21who will defile it. I will turn my face away from
- 1:13:25the people, and robbers will desecrate the place I treasure.
- 1:13:33They will enter it and. Will defile it, prepare chains,
- 1:13:38for the land is full of bloodshed and the city is full
- 1:13:42of violence. I will bring the most wicked of
- 1:13:46nations to take possession of their houses.
- 1:13:51I will put an end to the pride of the mighty, and their
- 1:13:55sanctuaries will be desecrated. When terror comes, they will
- 1:14:00seek peace in vain. A couple things I want to say
- 1:14:04about this. When terror comes, they will
- 1:14:06seek peace in vain. I don't.
- 1:14:09Know if it's going to be. Something other than this.
- 1:14:12But think about what happened October 7th, 2023.
- 1:14:17That was certainly terror. What happened that day?
- 1:14:21And think about the Abrahamic Accords which this is seeking
- 1:14:27peace like that this kind of stuff will not happen again.
- 1:14:32And there is like the majority, not majority, but many are
- 1:14:39focusing on peace. They want peace, peace and
- 1:14:42security, peace and safety. But the Bible also says when
- 1:14:45they say peace, peace and security are peace and safety,
- 1:14:49then will come sudden destruction.
- 1:14:51So this peace that we are striving for in the world will
- 1:14:57only be for a short time according to Bible prophecy.
- 1:15:02So don't put your hope in that, but put your hope in Jesus and
- 1:15:06make sure that you're prepared, that when Jesus comes you are
- 1:15:09ready and that you have your faith in Him and that if you
- 1:15:14have your faith in Him, you don't have to worry about
- 1:15:16anything. So it says calamity upon
- 1:15:20calamity will come and rumor upon rumor, just like Matthew 24
- 1:15:25that Jesus said. They will go searching for a
- 1:15:28vision from a prophet. Priestly instruction in the law
- 1:15:32will cease. The counsel of the elders will
- 1:15:35come up, will come to an end. The king will mourn, the Prince
- 1:15:40will be clothed with despair, and the hands of of the people
- 1:15:44of the land will tremble. I will deal with them according
- 1:15:48to their conduct and by their own standards.
- 1:15:52I will judge them. Then they will know that I am
- 1:15:55the Lord. Again, God's judgement comes
- 1:16:01later and I just, I don't know, I, I see this may potentially
- 1:16:07have double fulfillment and let's see.
- 1:16:11There's a couple questions and answers for this chapter.
- 1:16:14So I will go through those and then end this.
- 1:16:20It's been a long one, but there's a lot of information in
- 1:16:23here. So why is Ezekiel called Son of
- 1:16:25Man Used some 90 times in the book of Ezekiel?
- 1:16:28This label underscores Ezekiel's humanity and the dependence on
- 1:16:32God's supernatural power. It may also have reminded
- 1:16:35Ezekiel that his job was to convey, not create the message.
- 1:16:40Why did he? Exclaim the.
- 1:16:41End. These words carry a sense of
- 1:16:44urgency. They were designed to shake the
- 1:16:47hearers out of their complacency.
- 1:16:49It was time for Jerusalem to be judged and destroyed.
- 1:16:52The end meant this was the culmination of centuries of
- 1:16:55rebellion against God. The time of judgement had
- 1:16:58finally arrived again. I think there's still a future
- 1:17:01fulfillment of this. So now let's see, we read that
- 1:17:07one When would a seller normally recover land he had sold?
- 1:17:11The law mandated that every 50th year, all the land that had
- 1:17:17changed hands be returned to the original owners.
- 1:17:20This 50th year was called the Year of Jubilee and was intended
- 1:17:26to be a way of maintaining equity among God's people.
- 1:17:29But at this time, the Israelites were facing the commercial
- 1:17:32collapse and destruction of their society, so the
- 1:17:35restitution mandated by the Jubilee was impossible.
- 1:17:39This is interesting because we I think right now or it starts in
- 1:17:452026. Well March of 2026, I'm not sure
- 1:17:50if this is the Jubilee or starting March 1st is the
- 1:17:54Jubilee year. But according to the Essenes
- 1:17:58calendar, there are 50 years remaining or so and we are right
- 1:18:06in that, in that point right now.
- 1:18:09So it's interesting that if this happens during this last period,
- 1:18:16I mean, and this is really interesting.
- 1:18:18I mean Messiah 2030, I mean, there's a lot of people who are
- 1:18:20looking at the times that we're in as being very significant
- 1:18:25according to the end of the age. And so anyway this that could be
- 1:18:32a whole. Long.
- 1:18:33Subject and I, I'm not prepared to talk about it, but right now
- 1:18:37we are in that in that time frame.
- 1:18:39So it's probably going to be another 50 years.
- 1:18:42So more than likely if. This is all.
- 1:18:48Accurate in terms of time frames sometime in the next 50 years,
- 1:18:54which I feel is sooner than later, but that's just my
- 1:18:57feeling. But sometime in the next 50
- 1:19:00years this is all going to happen.
- 1:19:02And it would make sense that the jubilee hasn't arrived so that
- 1:19:07they don't get their land back again because we're in the kind
- 1:19:10of final jubilee. If the Essenes, who were the
- 1:19:13ancient people, a sect of religious people who kept
- 1:19:17records and they were found in the Dead Sea Scrolls that had a
- 1:19:21calendar. If you want to explore that
- 1:19:23further, search Bible facts by Ken Johnson and he has a
- 1:19:29website, he has a YouTube channel.
- 1:19:31He has a Dead Sea Scrolls calendar that you can actually
- 1:19:34look up every date to see biblical holidays that were on
- 1:19:39the dates at, at certain years. It's it's pretty phenomenal what
- 1:19:42he's put together. But anyway, the whole point of
- 1:19:45that is we are in that jubilee, in that final jubilee year.
- 1:19:51Either it's completing in March or it's beginning in March, I
- 1:19:54can't remember which, but we're right there.
- 1:19:57So it's saying that Israel's, the people here, the buyers and
- 1:20:01sellers are not going to be receiving their land.
- 1:20:04So why would they put on sackcloth and shave their heads?
- 1:20:07This was common practice for those in mourning.
- 1:20:10Wearing rough, itchy clothing and shaving off hair, as well as
- 1:20:13other customs were ways of heightening their misery.
- 1:20:17It was considered inappropriate for those in mourning to indulge
- 1:20:21their own comforts. Loss of hair also was considered
- 1:20:25a great humiliation. Shaving their heads left nothing
- 1:20:28with which to cover their shame. What was the place God treasured
- 1:20:33the temple in Jerusalem? The strong emotional language
- 1:20:36used here shows that when God judges people, he himself
- 1:20:41suffers pain as well. Why were they ready?
- 1:20:46Why were they to prepare chains? The people were so sinful and
- 1:20:50their judgment so certain that they might as well make it easy
- 1:20:53for invading armies to capture them by making their own chains.
- 1:20:57On another level, the Israelites had already created their own
- 1:21:00spiritual chains through unscrupulous behavior and idol
- 1:21:05worship. Why would the council of the
- 1:21:08Elders come to an end? Prompted by their suffering, the
- 1:21:11people would seek help from their leaders, but it would be
- 1:21:14too little, too late. Since God had already withdrawn
- 1:21:17his presence, there would be no way to hear from him.
- 1:21:20Elders, along with the prophets and priests, usually helped set
- 1:21:23national policy. Prophets received.
- 1:21:26OK, that's let's talk about that just for a quick second.
- 1:21:30Elders along with prophets and priests usually helped set
- 1:21:34national policy. When people talk about like
- 1:21:39separation of of. You know, state and.
- 1:21:43Church. That's not the way the Bible
- 1:21:44was, but OK. Prophets received visions and
- 1:21:48specific words from the Lord. Priest instructed in matters of
- 1:21:52the law, and elders drew from their vast experience to advise
- 1:21:57political leaders look how interconnected it was how would.
- 1:22:02They be judged. By their own standards, the
- 1:22:04people had failed to live up to their covenant with the Lord.
- 1:22:09They had failed to upload their pledge of complete devotion and
- 1:22:13allegiance to Him. God was saying, in effect, that
- 1:22:16they were their own worst enemy. It was their own sinfulness that
- 1:22:20had destroyed them. God for his part, is is always
- 1:22:25faithful. And that's the end of Chapter 7.
- 1:22:29This was a long 1 so I hope you subscribe, share this with
- 1:22:33someone if you found it beneficial and come back for
- 1:22:37chapter 8.
