- 0:00Speaker 1: Live from the WOR LifeVac studios, the Mark Simone Show. Well, hey,
- 0:07Speaker 1: we'll take some calls. Oh, look at that. We got
- 0:09Speaker 1: open lines. You never see open lines. If you want
- 0:12Speaker 1: to call, do it right now. 800-321-0710 is the number. 800-321-0710.
- 0:14Speaker 1: Let's go to Blauvelt in Florida. Blauvelt, how you doing?
- 0:17Speaker 1: Good morning, Mark. How about you? Ah, you got to practice.
- 0:20Speaker 1: It's a.
- 0:29Speaker 1: That's the official greeting of Mar-a-Lago and Florida. How are you?
- 0:35Speaker 1: It's thicker, deeper.
- 0:37Speaker 3: How are you? How are you? Listen, Chris the Panic,
- 0:42Speaker 3: and I love what he calls. He's a great caller.
- 0:44Speaker 3: But he was calling not too long ago. He was
- 0:46Speaker 3: so worried that they weren't doing anything with Omar. And
- 0:50Speaker 3: now he's got a... be happy that things are going
- 0:53Speaker 3: his way.
- 0:54Speaker 1: No, he's never happy. Loves to panic. Loves to panic.
- 0:58Speaker 1: If you could tell him what they're doing, though, Mark,
- 0:59Speaker 1: he goes, when? Why is it taking so long?
- 1:01Speaker 3: All right.
- 1:06Speaker 1: Thanks for calling. Let's go to Robert in Westchester. Robert,
- 1:11Speaker 1: how you doing?
- 1:13Speaker 3: Good morning, Mark. Well, Mark, thanks for taking my call. Mark,
- 1:16Speaker 3: I got a quick question, and I hope you got
- 1:18Speaker 3: the answer.
- 1:20Speaker 1: Don't get your hopes up, but go ahead.
- 1:22Speaker 3: But I'm keeping my fingers crossed brother with the election
- 1:25Speaker 3: coming up in New York. I'm going to go vote early,
- 1:27Speaker 3: of course, for Bruce Blakeman and, and, uh, and the
- 1:30Speaker 3: low wall or excuse me, is somebody watching, you know,
- 1:35Speaker 3: to make sure that, Oh my gosh, look, there's 200,000 votes.
- 1:38Speaker 3: We forgot to count. Is somebody doing that?
- 1:41Speaker 1: Well, we don't have much of a Republican party here
- 1:44Speaker 1: in New York. It was Democrats. They'd have poll watchers, lawyers,
- 1:47Speaker 1: and everybody's studying every poll worker. And we, we don't
- 1:50Speaker 1: have much of that in New York, but, uh, There
- 1:54Speaker 1: is a lot of cheating. I know everybody denies it,
- 1:57Speaker 1: but even the Democrats privately will admit they can cheat
- 1:59Speaker 1: it by about 3%. You've got to get enough votes
- 2:02Speaker 1: to overcome the cheating. That's all. Just big turnout, and
- 2:07Speaker 1: Bruce Blakeman wins. It's all about turnout. Everybody's got to
- 2:10Speaker 1: go vote. It's two weeks from today. You're doing the
- 2:13Speaker 1: early voting. When is that? When are you going to
- 2:14Speaker 1: do that?
- 2:15Speaker 3: Saturday, sir, Saturday. And I can't wait to cast my vote.
- 2:18Speaker 3: And I can't stand those negative. How can you even
- 2:21Speaker 3: have a negative commercial toward either Lawler or Blakeman? You
- 2:25Speaker 3: people have run this state for 16 years. Look where
- 2:28Speaker 3: we are. Just a mere fact, Mark, that we spent
- 2:31Speaker 3: $ 8 billion on people who are non-citizens. And by the way,
- 2:35Speaker 3: one more point, and thank you for being generous with
- 2:37Speaker 3: your time. What's happening in Europe, it's not really being brought.
- 2:42Speaker 3: The only place you really see it is on either
- 2:43Speaker 3: Fox or Newsmax or with you. And this is when
- 2:47Speaker 3: President Trump said, and he was right, and I hate
- 2:50Speaker 3: to say it, but he was right, meaning what he said,
- 2:53Speaker 3: the enemy of the people is the press.
- 2:55Speaker 1: Yeah, no, no, they've been horrible. You know, like the BBC,
- 2:59Speaker 1: which used to be such a prestigious news organization, is
- 3:02Speaker 1: now totally corrupt. If you're watching the BBC coverage of
- 3:05Speaker 1: these riots, they actually said, mostly peaceful. These are mostly
- 3:09Speaker 1: peaceful protesters. Half of France has been burned down. The looting,
- 3:13Speaker 1: the robbery, the violence. Mostly peaceful, but that's the BBC nowadays. So, yeah,
- 3:20Speaker 1: get out and vote.
- 3:21Speaker 3: You know what?
- 3:21Speaker 1: You can do early voting. Everybody go vote Saturday. If
- 3:24Speaker 1: you can't do it during the week, vote Saturday. This Saturday,
- 3:28Speaker 1: everybody go vote for Bruce Blakeman. Vote for Mike Lawler.
- 3:31Speaker 1: But especially Blakeman. If he becomes governor, everything will start
- 3:35Speaker 1: to turn around and change. And that's a good point
- 3:37Speaker 1: he made about Hochul complaining about affordability, complaining about this. Well,
- 3:41Speaker 1: you're the one. The Democrats have been running every single
- 3:44Speaker 1: thing in New York for 16 years. If there's anything wrong,
- 3:47Speaker 1: they're to blame. They've been running everything. Let's go to
- 3:50Speaker 1: Jacob in Denver, Colorado. Jacob, how are you doing? Hi.
- 3:54Speaker 3: Eleven states have the SAVE Act on their ballot, and
- 3:58Speaker 3: I have heard no polling on it.
- 4:00Speaker 1: Well, if you do the polling, there is polling on it.
- 4:04Speaker 1: Something like 72% are all for the SAVE Act and
- 4:07Speaker 1: voter security, making sure that everybody is for that. It's
- 4:12Speaker 1: just you can't get it done because the states are
- 4:15Speaker 1: controlled by many of them by very bad secretaries of
- 4:19Speaker 1: state who are in charge of the voting procedures. Now,
- 4:22Speaker 1: there'll be a SAVE Act at some point. It's not
- 4:24Speaker 1: going to happen in the next two weeks, so it
- 4:26Speaker 1: won't be there for this election. Let's go to Sal
- 4:29Speaker 1: in Kismet. Sal, how are you doing?
- 4:33Speaker 3: Good morning, Mark.
- 4:34Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 4:36Speaker 4: I have a comment about the situation in France. The
- 4:41Speaker 4: broken window theory comes into play in this. If you
- 4:45Speaker 4: allow the rioting to continue to happen, it will just
- 4:49Speaker 4: happen more and more.
- 4:52Speaker 1: You're absolutely right. The broken window theory, you don't even
- 4:55Speaker 1: allow a broken window. As soon as the broken window,
- 4:58Speaker 1: you fix it. You don't allow anything, anything. You keep
- 5:02Speaker 1: your public spaces clean, orderly. And that's the problem in France. Macron,
- 5:08Speaker 1: typical French president, doing absolutely nothing. The military should have
- 5:11Speaker 1: been called out immediately. Although I don't know what the
- 5:14Speaker 1: French military is capable of. He should have been on
- 5:17Speaker 1: the phone with President Trump asking for a real military
- 5:20Speaker 1: to come in. Let's go to Tom in Staten Island. Tom,
- 5:23Speaker 1: how are you doing? How are you? Good.
- 5:26Speaker 3: Great show. Love to listen.
- 5:28Speaker 1: Thanks.
- 5:28Speaker 3: You know, friends, you talked about chaos.
- 5:31Speaker 1: Yeah. Right?
- 5:32Speaker 3: Well, Maxwell Smart and Agent 99 could take care of that.
- 5:36Speaker 3: There you go.
- 5:37Speaker 1: For those of you under 90, what he's talking about,
- 5:39Speaker 1: there was a TV show called Get Smart. Created by
- 5:43Speaker 1: Mel Brooks, by the way. That was his TV show,
- 5:45Speaker 1: his sitcom. And Maxwell Smart, agent. The other one was,
- 5:52Speaker 1: the woman was 99, Barbara Felden. Was it 86? I
- 5:56Speaker 1: think Maxwell Smart was 86. The Chief, the Cone of Silence.
- 6:02Speaker 1: And the organization, James Bond was fighting Spectre. So on
- 6:06Speaker 1: Get Smart, he was fighting an organization called Chaos. One more.
- 6:10Speaker 1: Let's go to Pete in Marlborough. Pete, how you doing?
- 6:13Speaker 2: Very good, Mark. Thank you for taking my call. I
- 6:17Speaker 2: just want to ask, the Democrats, I got the $ 90
- 6:24Speaker 2: rebate for the Medicare. And then I was online and
- 6:29Speaker 2: I saw this woman say, oh, big deal. And then
- 6:32Speaker 2: I said, well, since when did a Democrat ever give
- 6:35Speaker 2: you money?
- 6:35Speaker 3: And she starts.
- 6:36Speaker 2: Touting off back, I think, in the 30s. I'm saying, well,
- 6:42Speaker 2: if that's the best you can do, good luck.
- 6:44Speaker 1: Yeah, that's a good point. Thanks for calling. Trump, $ 90
- 6:48Speaker 1: to everybody on Medicare refund. He's talking about, was it
- 6:52Speaker 1: $ 1, 000 or $ 5, 000? I think he said $ 5, 000 for everybody
- 6:56Speaker 1: after the election. I don't know where that's going to
- 6:59Speaker 1: come from, but you never know. You never know. He's
- 7:01Speaker 1: about to bring in a couple of trillion in investment.
- 7:04Speaker 1: And from the tariffs, a couple of trillion will come in,
- 7:06Speaker 1: so maybe he could do it. Elon Musk got a
- 7:09Speaker 1: big giveaway. We'll get to that coming up. We'll get
- 7:11Speaker 1: to the dean himself, the best political analyst. All these
- 7:14Speaker 1: questions you have about the midterms, we'll ask him. Ed Rollins,
- 7:18Speaker 1: coming up next on 710WOR.
