- 0:00Speaker 1: This is the Ben and Ashley I Almost Famous Podcast
- 0:03Speaker 1: with I Our Radio.
- 0:06Speaker 2: We are back on the Almost Famous podcast with another
- 0:09Speaker 2: recap with the Real Housewives of Rhode Island Lauren. Things
- 0:13Speaker 2: are starting to go off the rails literally and figuratively
- 0:17Speaker 2: this week. And I don't know about you, but the
- 0:21Speaker 2: end of this episode is giving me whiplash. I actually
- 0:24Speaker 2: think maybe the first like four episodes have given me
- 0:27Speaker 2: a little whiplash.
- 0:27Speaker 3: I have trying to keep up, and I think I'm
- 0:30Speaker 3: keeping up.
- 0:31Speaker 4: It comes out of nowhere, right, You're like, wait, I
- 0:33Speaker 4: don't even know what we're fighting about, because it's like that,
- 0:37Speaker 4: you know.
- 0:38Speaker 2: This episode starts out like very different than most. It's
- 0:42Speaker 2: very The first word that's coming to my mind is
- 0:45Speaker 2: like wholesome.
- 0:46Speaker 3: It's nice.
- 0:46Speaker 2: It's they're enjoying each other's time. They're breaking down things
- 0:50Speaker 2: that have happened in the past. Let's start with the beginning.
- 0:54Speaker 2: Joellen really isn't a part of this episode. And I
- 0:56Speaker 2: think we're only shown that she's packing for our work
- 0:59Speaker 2: trip because is the show is trying to set the
- 1:01Speaker 2: stage that she will not be a part of these
- 1:03Speaker 2: activities this week.
- 1:05Speaker 4: Yeah, I'm kind of surprised they were like, oh, yeah,
- 1:08Speaker 4: we'll film without Joelle and like the realter or maybe
- 1:11Speaker 4: it'll give us an opportunity to talk about some of
- 1:13Speaker 4: the other girls, and we need to get to the
- 1:16Speaker 4: bottom of why Liz was so mad at Kelsey last
- 1:19Speaker 4: week anyway, So I don't even know. Do you feel
- 1:23Speaker 4: like we got clarity on that based on what we saw?
- 1:26Speaker 2: I mean, I actually think it was a very normal
- 1:29Speaker 2: conversation where Liz was like, hey, I overreacted. I'm embarrassed
- 1:33Speaker 2: how I reacted to you and Kelsey, maybe your choice
- 1:37Speaker 2: of wording was like I don't know, we'd call it
- 1:40Speaker 2: triggering or like it sets something off inside of her.
- 1:45Speaker 2: But she also admitted over drinking. She's bummed with herself
- 1:49Speaker 2: because the night was so good. It was pretty much
- 1:51Speaker 2: everything we said last week.
- 1:52Speaker 4: Yep mm hmm. It was really nice to see because
- 1:55Speaker 4: usually women, especially they'll be like, I wasn't drunk. I wasn't,
- 1:59Speaker 4: but was like, no, I was having a good time
- 2:03Speaker 4: and that was all alcohol basically, and I love to
- 2:06Speaker 4: see the accountability here. And then Kelsey gets into it,
- 2:10Speaker 4: kind of explaining like Dino is a triggering topic because
- 2:15Speaker 4: I guess Kelsey hooked up with Dino in the past,
- 2:17Speaker 4: and Dino became a little obsessed, a little stockery, you
- 2:20Speaker 4: weird on her, Hu a little weird on her. And
- 2:22Speaker 4: it kind of all makes sense now because we've all
- 2:25Speaker 4: not we all most of the ladies have hooked up
- 2:28Speaker 4: with someone and you've gotten like the crazy ick from them,
- 2:31Speaker 4: and you're like, I don't want to look at you,
- 2:33Speaker 4: I don't want to hear from you, and you keep
- 2:35Speaker 4: popping up in the fact that you're even in Liza's
- 2:38Speaker 4: life freaks me out. So her trying to stir up
- 2:41Speaker 4: sh is just basically another way to get Dino out
- 2:45Speaker 4: of her life and out of Liz's life.
- 2:47Speaker 3: It all makes sense, yeah, I mean.
- 2:49Speaker 2: And the weird part about this, and something that was
- 2:52Speaker 2: illuminated once again to me, it was just how close
- 2:56Speaker 2: this group is. She can't leave or separate from Dino.
- 2:59Speaker 2: In fact, she said, even after they hooked up things
- 3:02Speaker 2: are done, he would show up at the same place
- 3:04Speaker 2: as she would, and he was like controlling in the
- 3:06Speaker 2: sense of he didn't want her talking to anybody else.
- 3:09Speaker 2: He was kind of hovering around. It just feels like
- 3:12Speaker 2: a very odd scenario, and obviously Liz was pointing to
- 3:17Speaker 2: that during the last episode. I still don't have clarity
- 3:22Speaker 2: on why it was such a hot topic for Kelsey,
- 3:24Speaker 2: other than the fact that she's pretty much saying, Hey,
- 3:26Speaker 2: that guy, like, I don't want to even be around him,
- 3:28Speaker 2: Like he's so weird to me that I don't want
- 3:30Speaker 2: to be around him. The I guess from my perspective,
- 3:35Speaker 2: and nobody, I mean, most Housewives fans would not care
- 3:37Speaker 2: about this. I'm sure I was shocked at one how
- 3:40Speaker 2: nice their boat was and two how much stuff she
- 3:44Speaker 2: has in that boat.
- 3:45Speaker 4: Yeah, I'm also shocked that those two ladies are the
- 3:50Speaker 4: only ones helping clean that thing out. Liz does seem
- 3:54Speaker 4: to be one of those housewives that like fits the
- 3:56Speaker 4: ultimate housewife like archetype, being extremely rich, like we can
- 4:00Speaker 4: tell by her house and her boat and her bags
- 4:03Speaker 4: and everything. So they're selling the boat why because he's.
- 4:07Speaker 3: Not doing him dumb He's dumb, all right?
- 4:09Speaker 4: So no, Moredina, we don't. We don't have any used
- 4:11Speaker 4: Pardino anymore because her husband will be home with her.
- 4:13Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 4:14Speaker 2: The cannabis, queen cannabis, the cannabis industry must be doing
- 4:18Speaker 2: well in Rhode Island. In fact, do you know, Lauren,
- 4:23Speaker 2: I mean you're a lot close to are we watching
- 4:26Speaker 2: this show? I mean, I think we've already commented. The
- 4:29Speaker 2: money side of this is actually very fun to watch.
- 4:31Speaker 2: Not everybody is super wealthy. Yeah, you don't have you know,
- 4:34Speaker 2: it's a relatable in a lot of ways. But is
- 4:36Speaker 2: this mostly old or new money?
- 4:39Speaker 4: It appears to be new money. I don't think there's
- 4:43Speaker 4: any old money besides Kelsey's boyfriend who has old money.
- 4:47Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 4:47Speaker 2: Nothing, nothing's like been passed down from generation to generation.
- 4:50Speaker 4: No, because you think about Rula, she makes her own money.
- 4:53Speaker 4: Brian's a pediatrist, and then Joe Allen like, if you
- 4:57Speaker 4: go down the list, they're all like, you know, they're
- 5:00Speaker 4: something they're doing well. But it's new for sure.
- 5:03Speaker 2: We get our first big scene of the episode with
- 5:07Speaker 2: the girl's beach day and Ashley chooses the beach that
- 5:12Speaker 2: she loves to bring her boys to.
- 5:14Speaker 4: Yeah, I'm like, I don't why is this the beach
- 5:17Speaker 4: for filming? I know there's only a couple beaches that
- 5:19Speaker 4: will allow filming, so as she's like, hey, I got
- 5:22Speaker 4: a great one. It's it's so tiny and there's absolutely
- 5:26Speaker 4: no good water or anything. That's why she likes it,
- 5:29Speaker 4: because the boys won't drown in it. Yeah, it's so,
- 5:32Speaker 4: it's so funny. It's so Ashley not to be like
- 5:35Speaker 4: embarrassed by like that. And then she shows up like
- 5:38Speaker 4: is she in a bathing suit? Then? Yeah, I guess
- 5:40Speaker 4: she shows.
- 5:41Speaker 2: Up saying that everybody looked like Barbie and she looks
- 5:43Speaker 2: like a mom who like kind of tried today. Zaccurate, Lauren,
- 5:47Speaker 2: Is you say Ashley isn't embarrassed by this?
- 5:50Speaker 4: She's never embarrassed period?
- 5:53Speaker 2: Is that because she is aloof to the like concept
- 5:57Speaker 2: She's just like, no, this is a good beach or
- 5:59Speaker 2: she's so I no, I'm going to own this. This
- 6:02Speaker 2: is what I do with my boys, and if you
- 6:04Speaker 2: all want to come with me, great, Like what is
- 6:07Speaker 2: her mindset?
- 6:08Speaker 4: I think she thinks it's a good beach. I think
- 6:10Speaker 4: she's like, well, it's quiet, we'll be able to hear
- 6:14Speaker 4: each other. No one's gonna drown. I it's close to
- 6:18Speaker 4: our homes. Like, I think she's literally thinking of the
- 6:21Speaker 4: good things and doesn't think of how anyone else could
- 6:24Speaker 4: possibly see this beach.
- 6:26Speaker 2: I love that one of the I forget which lady
- 6:28Speaker 2: said it, but she's like, I have a beach club
- 6:30Speaker 2: that we can go to. They'll carry my bags in
- 6:32Speaker 2: my chairs and set us up, And in my mind,
- 6:34Speaker 2: I'm like, no, I want to see this. I want
- 6:36Speaker 2: to see you all go to a beach that I
- 6:38Speaker 2: could go to. I want to see you sit down
- 6:40Speaker 2: there they're eating pizza chips. This becomes a topic of conversation.
- 6:45Speaker 2: I think it's a brilliant idea.
- 6:47Speaker 4: You like pizza chips.
- 6:48Speaker 2: I've never had one. I don't know how it tastes,
- 6:51Speaker 2: but when it comes to a beach snack, it makes sense.
- 6:54Speaker 2: You eliminate the cheese and so you don't have to
- 6:56Speaker 2: keep it cool or you don't have to like figure
- 6:59Speaker 2: out the whole contaminates on it, and it's it's filling.
- 7:03Speaker 3: Kids probably love it.
- 7:05Speaker 4: Is this your first time hearing of it? Oh?
- 7:07Speaker 3: Yes, first time?
- 7:08Speaker 4: Okay, okay, so my first time hearing of it too.
- 7:11Speaker 4: And it's called According to Ashley, pizza chips are all
- 7:15Speaker 4: are also called party pizza in Rhode Island, where when
- 7:19Speaker 4: you're having a party it's already cold and there's no cheese,
- 7:24Speaker 4: so you don't it's always gonna be fresh. Yeah, but
- 7:27Speaker 4: at the same time that it's always cold. Ashley obviously
- 7:30Speaker 4: is not a fan. She says she doesn't like pizza
- 7:32Speaker 4: without cheese, so she gets the concept. But these things
- 7:37Speaker 4: are like you go to the grocery store in any
- 7:39Speaker 4: Rhode Island grocery store and they have a party pizza,
- 7:41Speaker 4: which is simply a cold, saucy piece of bread. That's
- 7:46Speaker 4: just a thing, right, That's all it is. Yeah.
- 7:48Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean, I'm I've never heard of it. I'm
- 7:51Speaker 2: glad we got exposed to it. Yeah, this episode really
- 7:55Speaker 2: kicks off with these really relatable moments and their funny moments.
- 8:00Speaker 2: She's beach, the pizza, chips, those things, and then Rosie
- 8:05Speaker 2: goes in to say, hey, let's do something even like
- 8:09Speaker 2: more down to Earth, which is jump on this like
- 8:13Speaker 2: train ride that we pedal. And I am immediately excited
- 8:17Speaker 2: because one, I know, Ashley riding a bike for six
- 8:21Speaker 2: miles is not something that she's accustomed to.
- 8:24Speaker 3: And I love the idea of it. Love the idea
- 8:27Speaker 3: of all.
- 8:27Speaker 2: Of these ladies, you know, diving in to get a
- 8:30Speaker 2: little workout in.
- 8:31Speaker 4: Yeah, well Corn and Rosie, it's just so they don't
- 8:35Speaker 4: kill each other because they're going to release some door fence. Yeah,
- 8:38Speaker 4: I mean, at the end of the bike ride is
- 8:40Speaker 4: really where all the drama HAPs Actually it happens on
- 8:42Speaker 4: the cycle with Rosie and Liz when they're talking about
- 8:45Speaker 4: Ashley kind of and I'm like, who could possibly talk
- 8:48Speaker 4: about Ashley? Did you see that?
- 8:50Speaker 3: I did see it. I mean, I don't even know.
- 8:54Speaker 3: Ashley explained it.
- 8:55Speaker 2: Well, she know she's shyer, and so she's gonna come
- 8:58Speaker 2: off stand up.
- 9:00Speaker 3: I think everybody has this.
- 9:01Speaker 2: Idea of Ashley being you know, she's a big deal, right,
- 9:06Speaker 2: She's beautiful, she's confident, she doesn't get embarrassed. They've seen
- 9:11Speaker 2: her on TV. They think she has this kind of
- 9:15Speaker 2: like larger than life personality, And when you spend time
- 9:17Speaker 2: with Ashley, she is larger than life in so many ways.
- 9:20Speaker 2: But her personality doesn't need to take over a room.
- 9:24Speaker 2: And she is probably a little more standoffish and shy
- 9:28Speaker 2: out of no other reason other than her own like
- 9:31Speaker 2: desire to get to know the situation before she steps
- 9:33Speaker 2: into it.
- 9:34Speaker 4: Yeah, and if you see, like the history she's with
- 9:37Speaker 4: the ladies, she's not going to jump in and just
- 9:38Speaker 4: speak her mind because you see how much they flip
- 9:41Speaker 4: a switch.
- 9:41Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 9:42Speaker 4: So yeah, and she says that she is scared of
- 9:44Speaker 4: Liz and I Rosie does say to Liz like, Oh,
- 9:47Speaker 4: it's because you're successful and beautiful and blah blah blah blah.
- 9:51Speaker 4: But it's really because she's kind of just scary, Like
- 9:54Speaker 4: she is very dominating and she has strong opinions, and
- 9:59Speaker 4: that's kind of why I she's just like playing it safe.
- 10:01Speaker 4: But then also I think they flashed back to the
- 10:04Speaker 4: fourth of July party where actually hugged her and then
- 10:08Speaker 4: looked away. But she's like, what do you say? Like,
- 10:10Speaker 4: what's your next line? You say, Hi, I'm Ashley, blah
- 10:14Speaker 4: blah blah. What is your next line at a party? Like,
- 10:17Speaker 4: so you live close to here? I guess, Like, I
- 10:19Speaker 4: don't know.
- 10:21Speaker 3: I think it is.
- 10:23Speaker 2: It's one of the things that Ashley is always commented
- 10:25Speaker 2: on with me. And I think it is because she
- 10:29Speaker 2: doesn't like the eye contact. She you know, I just
- 10:34Speaker 2: doesn't and it's not it's rude, and it's not because
- 10:37Speaker 2: she is dismissive or pushing away. But all these women
- 10:42Speaker 2: have such like this. I mean, even when they're fighting,
- 10:46Speaker 2: they're staring each other in the eyes. That is not
- 10:50Speaker 2: I guess. I don't know many people who when they're
- 10:53Speaker 2: arguing with me where they're like able to look me
- 10:55Speaker 2: dead in the eyes and make an argument. It's usually
- 10:58Speaker 2: like a very like nervous time man. Totally, yeah, it's
- 11:03Speaker 2: not She's not cold. I really didn't take it as
- 11:06Speaker 2: them talking negatively about Ashley because it felt like they're
- 11:11Speaker 2: trying to get to understand, like to understand her, and
- 11:14Speaker 2: as a result, it's coming off the way it is.
- 11:16Speaker 2: Ashley does, though, in this scene, kind of start to
- 11:21Speaker 2: engage a little bit. She's confused that this whole thing
- 11:23Speaker 2: because she says that Brian isn't very hot, like she
- 11:26Speaker 2: doesn't understand what's happening here.
- 11:28Speaker 4: Oh, yes, we're at the beach again.
- 11:30Speaker 3: We're at the beach.
- 11:31Speaker 2: She's like, during this whole thing, Ashley feels like she
- 11:34Speaker 2: is entering in more than she is commentating on.
- 11:39Speaker 4: Yes, yes, yes, And I was like, I'm so glad
- 11:42Speaker 4: you said that, because the audience is thinking, how is
- 11:45Speaker 4: this man getting two women and he's not even that cute?
- 11:50Speaker 4: So I thought I thought that was funny. She also
- 11:52Speaker 4: she spoke for the audience and then I think another
- 11:55Speaker 4: favorite moment of Ashley's is when they go to Alicia's house. Actually,
- 12:00Speaker 4: wait hold on, After the beach we go to Joellen's
- 12:03Speaker 4: house really quickly for like a little blurb to show
- 12:06Speaker 4: that her sister. Joellen's sister is like taking over her
- 12:11Speaker 4: role because she used to hook up with her husband,
- 12:13Speaker 4: which is very bizarre. And then she makes like a
- 12:16Speaker 4: comment being like she wanted his sperm or something, And
- 12:21Speaker 4: I'm just thinking, from like a sister standpoint, how weird
- 12:25Speaker 4: it is to even consider taking your brother in law's
- 12:28Speaker 4: sperm for your own.
- 12:30Speaker 3: You know, yeah, the kids would look very much alike,
- 12:33Speaker 3: I know.
- 12:34Speaker 4: But then at the same time, I always think of
- 12:36Speaker 4: this in The Patriot, you know, in The Patriot, when
- 12:39Speaker 4: mel Gibson ends up with his sister in law because
- 12:41Speaker 4: his wife died. I'm like, but the closest person you
- 12:44Speaker 4: could ever get if you don't have your wife is
- 12:46Speaker 4: your wife's sister, So it would make sense, you know.
- 12:49Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 12:49Speaker 2: I mean I actually think historically too, if you throw
- 12:52Speaker 2: it back to like two thousand years ago, this is
- 12:54Speaker 2: not an uncommon concept. Is hey, you take care of
- 12:58Speaker 2: the person. If I've lost my the closest person kind
- 13:01Speaker 2: of brings them in. My only question here for you, Lauren,
- 13:06Speaker 2: is that's you know, the whole thing with the sister
- 13:09Speaker 2: being at Joelan's house, helping take care of the family
- 13:12Speaker 2: while she was gone. You know, we've obviously had this
- 13:16Speaker 2: kind of language used in the season before, when it
- 13:20Speaker 2: comes to Liz and her husband and Dino coming into
- 13:24Speaker 2: help take care of his wife. Is this at all
- 13:26Speaker 2: foreshadowing something to happen like with Joelle and her sister
- 13:31Speaker 2: and the husband.
- 13:33Speaker 4: I don't think that would ever happen. I think it's
- 13:36Speaker 4: kind of like a fun, playful thing. But then I
- 13:39Speaker 4: deep in Joellen's sister, I don't remember her name her mind.
- 13:43Speaker 4: I think she would I think she would say yes,
- 13:45Speaker 4: and I think she would marry Joeln's husband. But I
- 13:48Speaker 4: don't think it's actually going to happen, and Joellen would
- 13:50Speaker 4: obviously never allow it. But I think the sister kind
- 13:52Speaker 4: of has a crush and I think she has something
- 13:55Speaker 4: to prove since Joell and did end up swooping in
- 13:58Speaker 4: and stealing him in high school, you know, so she
- 14:01Speaker 4: has something to prove. And I don't think she's married
- 14:03Speaker 4: or has kids, so it.
- 14:05Speaker 2: Doesn't sound like it. Yeah, I think they actually mentioned that.
- 14:07Speaker 2: It don't well, it is something to watch. Is that
- 14:10Speaker 2: going to be a foreshadowing of the future. Is the
- 14:14Speaker 2: sister going to engage Jin is the sister's name. Is
- 14:18Speaker 2: Jin going to engage in the family deeper than she
- 14:21Speaker 2: already is one of my favorite moments of this whole episode,
- 14:25Speaker 2: before we obviously get to the kind of climax of
- 14:28Speaker 2: the episode where everybody's arguing with each other and it
- 14:30Speaker 2: gets super funky. Is Alicia's house. I think it's such
- 14:34Speaker 2: a fun part of the show.
- 14:37Speaker 4: It's the best. Just I love the mom and the
- 14:42Speaker 4: ant being so open and honest about their struggles in
- 14:45Speaker 4: their marriage. Seems like everyone's been cheated on affairs, and
- 14:51Speaker 4: Rula is getting some Rula and Alicia are both getting
- 14:54Speaker 4: advice from these older women, and it feels like very
- 14:56Speaker 4: comforting to me. It reminds me of going to like
- 14:58Speaker 4: my grandma's house and and like having all these women
- 15:02Speaker 4: like giving you relationship advice when you're like sixteen because
- 15:05Speaker 4: they know so much better. And then there's a moment
- 15:07Speaker 4: where Alicia's mom says to Real like, I just want
- 15:12Speaker 4: you to hurt him. I want you to find a
- 15:13Speaker 4: way to hurt him, and Ashley says she beat her fans,
- 15:16Speaker 4: which is very on brand rashly, but it was so
- 15:20Speaker 4: funny because yes, Reula needs to get back at him.
- 15:23Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean it kind of this whole scene feels honestly,
- 15:29Speaker 2: I think the real housewise what I'm watching is a
- 15:31Speaker 2: lot of these scenes feel genuine, even the arguments that
- 15:35Speaker 2: does not feel set up in stage. They're allowing conversations
- 15:40Speaker 2: to exist to get to a place where everybody feels
- 15:42Speaker 2: very comfortable. This feels like a very comfortable conversation. It's
- 15:45Speaker 2: also how I imagine never been a part of these
- 15:48Speaker 2: what it's like when a bunch of women get together
- 15:50Speaker 2: of all different age groups to just chat for the day.
- 15:54Speaker 4: It's amazing. It looked so fun. I wish I was there.
- 15:57Speaker 4: Everyone was giving wars of wisdom. I think even Ashley
- 15:59Speaker 4: was like, Alicia, you've got to get your name out
- 16:02Speaker 4: of the house. It's like so important and ever it's
- 16:04Speaker 4: like real talk. It's not like fluff, And that's what
- 16:07Speaker 4: I really liked about it.
- 16:09Speaker 2: Let's pause here to talk about Ashley again for a second.
- 16:12Speaker 2: Got Lauren is actually going to bring back some looks.
- 16:15Speaker 2: One is the pigtails.
- 16:16Speaker 3: Two.
- 16:18Speaker 2: She rocks a backwards hat at the end of this
- 16:20Speaker 2: episode and kind of like tucks her hair into it.
- 16:23Speaker 2: That's not something you see extremely often. I think with women,
- 16:28Speaker 2: it's do you see these becoming trends?
- 16:32Speaker 4: The backwards hat's iconic. She looked amazing, so sexy.
- 16:35Speaker 3: I loved it.
- 16:36Speaker 4: I wore that all the time. I think she copied me.
- 16:38Speaker 4: But the pigtails, I hope we never see again.
- 16:42Speaker 3: Why is that.
- 16:43Speaker 4: It's just like, I mean, she looks really good with
- 16:45Speaker 4: every hairstyle, but like, we can do better than that.
- 16:48Speaker 3: We can. Yeah, did she decide that?
- 16:50Speaker 4: Yeah, she does that sometimes and it's not the best choice.
- 16:53Speaker 4: The backwards hat's great though, Like don't you love a
- 16:55Speaker 4: woman in a backwards hat?
- 16:56Speaker 3: Oh, she looked amazing.
- 16:57Speaker 2: That's why I was like, I could see this like
- 17:00Speaker 2: being rocked more by like everybody if they're going on
- 17:03Speaker 2: the beach or they're out with their kids. You know,
- 17:05Speaker 2: it keeps the kids from pulling the hair. It's like
- 17:08Speaker 2: it's a cool look. I thought she looked great.
- 17:11Speaker 4: I think she will influence children with her pigtails though.
- 17:14Speaker 4: I think we'll see a lot more sixth graders going
- 17:16Speaker 4: to school with pigtails.
- 17:17Speaker 3: Why does she do it?
- 17:19Speaker 4: I don't she thinks it's cute. I think it like
- 17:21Speaker 4: makes her cheekbones look really nice to have it pulled
- 17:23Speaker 4: back like that. But okay, you know she obviously didn't
- 17:27Speaker 4: have a hair girl that day.
- 17:28Speaker 2: No, she didn't call up the sister before and listen, Well,
- 17:33Speaker 2: this is a incredible scene.
- 17:37Speaker 3: It's funny.
- 17:37Speaker 2: I love when the housewife so far has brought have
- 17:41Speaker 2: brought in the moms and the grandmas of some of
- 17:45Speaker 2: these women to just because they're not early different. You
- 17:49Speaker 2: can see how the women became who they are.
- 17:52Speaker 4: I sense a spin off. I think that would be amazing.
- 17:56Speaker 2: It would be so good. We'll go back to Ashley.
- 18:10Speaker 2: Ashley brings Rosie to the farm day. This feels like
- 18:15Speaker 2: the set up at least. What I'm getting from this
- 18:17Speaker 2: is we're trying to figure out more about Rosie.
- 18:19Speaker 3: Is she wanting to be a mom?
- 18:21Speaker 2: What does her future look like? What is her future
- 18:23Speaker 2: with her you know fiance.
- 18:27Speaker 3: Are they engaged Rosie?
- 18:29Speaker 4: Yeah, they're married. They've been there for one year.
- 18:31Speaker 3: Yes, okay, her husband.
- 18:33Speaker 2: Look like we are really getting and I think it's
- 18:37Speaker 2: probably because the age.
- 18:38Speaker 3: You know.
- 18:39Speaker 2: Hayden and Dawson are making quite a few appearances during
- 18:44Speaker 2: this show and standing out during them. We have them
- 18:47Speaker 2: at the park last week with Joellen where it's hot outside,
- 18:50Speaker 2: and Dawson is just upset because it's hot.
- 18:52Speaker 3: We see him at the farm.
- 18:55Speaker 2: Rosie has been a close friend of Ashley's for a
- 18:57Speaker 2: while now and knows her children. Well, well, yeah, do
- 19:01Speaker 2: you think Ashley is trying to convince her, hey, kids
- 19:05Speaker 2: are great or do you think she's kind of like, hey,
- 19:08Speaker 2: take it or leave it?
- 19:10Speaker 4: Yeah? I think at this point, I know Hayden was
- 19:13Speaker 4: being he had a really rough couple of months and
- 19:16Speaker 4: you can see here he's like, you know, pulling on
- 19:18Speaker 4: her earring and like he's being very fussy that phase.
- 19:22Speaker 4: I don't know if she was pushing kids on anyone,
- 19:25Speaker 4: but like Dawson was beyond that fussy phase. So like
- 19:28Speaker 4: she knows it's worth it, Like once you get over
- 19:30Speaker 4: that hump, Like she will convince anyone to have kids now.
- 19:33Speaker 4: Obviously it's better than the ups, are better than the downs. Yeah,
- 19:38Speaker 4: and so yes, she would love for Rosie to have kids,
- 19:40Speaker 4: because you know, we hear as women like our entire lives,
- 19:45Speaker 4: like you may not want them now, but once you
- 19:47Speaker 4: turn forty or something, you're gonna wish you had them
- 19:49Speaker 4: and you tried. So like she's definitely convincing her, but
- 19:51Speaker 4: I don't know if seeing like their behavior. Like I know,
- 19:55Speaker 4: Rosie goes over to her house all the time and
- 19:57Speaker 4: we'll see the kids have meltdowns and she leaves and
- 19:59Speaker 4: she goes, I'm so glad I can leave this house.
- 20:02Speaker 2: Yeah, she kind of says they're in the episode even.
- 20:04Speaker 4: Oh okay, So so I don't know how. I think
- 20:09Speaker 4: she'll probably have one, but I don't know.
- 20:11Speaker 2: Yeah, it's you know, it's funny because Ashley is walking
- 20:15Speaker 2: here through motherhood and talking through her and yeah, Hayden's
- 20:18Speaker 2: pulling on the ear rings. Yeah, and it's kind of
- 20:22Speaker 2: been this Ashley is carrying this young mom role, yeah,
- 20:27Speaker 2: throughout this season so far, where we're getting a highlight
- 20:30Speaker 2: of what it's like for her to be a mom,
- 20:32Speaker 2: the difficulties of it. What I want to see more of, though,
- 20:37Speaker 2: because I know it exists, is the upsides to it
- 20:40Speaker 2: that Ashley has.
- 20:41Speaker 4: You know, she's kind of upset that they're not really
- 20:43Speaker 4: showing a lot of the upsides and it's more about
- 20:45Speaker 4: like the woes of it all.
- 20:47Speaker 2: Yeah, it's the story right now. Is it feels like
- 20:49Speaker 2: she's just like this, that she's like so far in
- 20:53Speaker 2: it that it's hard to find any space to breathe.
- 20:56Speaker 2: But I know that Ashley loves being a mom and
- 20:58Speaker 2: I want to see that side as well.
- 21:00Speaker 4: I know it's not as juicy to see that side really,
- 21:04Speaker 4: but it exists. It's totally. I mean, I'm I talked
- 21:07Speaker 4: to her nine percent of the day and like it's
- 21:10Speaker 4: always like can you believe how cute this is? Can
- 21:11Speaker 4: you believe? Can you believe? This is so good? So good?
- 21:13Speaker 4: It's rarely negative, And that was that last summer was
- 21:17Speaker 4: a moment that was very difficult. But now like there's
- 21:23Speaker 4: zero complaints really, so I do wish they would show.
- 21:26Speaker 4: Maybe they will show. I don't know.
- 21:28Speaker 2: I hope they do, because Ashley, as an advocate for
- 21:32Speaker 2: people to have kids, also needs to show why she's
- 21:35Speaker 2: an advocate for people to have kids.
- 21:37Speaker 4: So true, I know, I know she's concerned.
- 21:40Speaker 3: Let's flash to the rail explorers.
- 21:43Speaker 2: The as we mention the ladies are going to go
- 21:46Speaker 2: on this rail line, it looks like a lot of fun,
- 21:48Speaker 2: looks like a really cool concept and great idea. It
- 21:50Speaker 2: is brilliant to get people to work out so that
- 21:53Speaker 2: they don't kill each other. It doesn't work, as we
- 21:55Speaker 2: will get.
- 21:56Speaker 4: To because the wine comes out and then you kill
- 21:59Speaker 4: each other all over again.
- 22:01Speaker 3: The uh. The wild thing here is uh.
- 22:03Speaker 2: And I'm almost upset with Ashley that she entered into
- 22:06Speaker 2: this conversation. Kelsey mentions that she ate the McDonald's cheeseburger
- 22:10Speaker 2: out of the trash, and Ashley says that's something I
- 22:13Speaker 2: would do. Yeah, And in my mind, I'm thinking that's disgusting.
- 22:17Speaker 4: No, it's one hundred percent on brand.
- 22:20Speaker 3: It's it's so weird to me. Lauren.
- 22:22Speaker 4: Yeah, Ashley would eat any like something off the floor.
- 22:27Speaker 4: Like she one time I went to her house and
- 22:30Speaker 4: I was like, what is there to eat in here?
- 22:31Speaker 4: And she's like, oh, there's spaghetti. I like, this is
- 22:34Speaker 4: one of our hardest laughs ever. And if I explain it,
- 22:36Speaker 4: it's not that funny, but I laugh. We were both
- 22:38Speaker 4: just like puddles of peat. So funny because I was like,
- 22:42Speaker 4: what is there to eat in here? And she goes, Oh,
- 22:44Speaker 4: there's spaghetti. I go, when did you make it? And
- 22:46Speaker 4: then she goes, it's fairly fresh, fairly fresh, and I go,
- 22:49Speaker 4: what the hell does that mean? And then she goes,
- 22:52Speaker 4: it's from Friday, and I was like, it's Thursday. Like
- 22:55Speaker 4: this is six day old spaghetti. She goes it's fine,
- 22:58Speaker 4: so like, but we laugh so hard because like it's
- 23:01Speaker 4: literally not fairly fresh and the slightest. But she would
- 23:04Speaker 4: eat out of a trash can. She's a raccoon. She
- 23:07Speaker 4: doesn't care.
- 23:08Speaker 3: She doesn't care. Hunt.
- 23:09Speaker 2: No, I just had to lunch with the buddy last week,
- 23:12Speaker 2: and it's ingrained in my head.
- 23:14Speaker 3: I din't even say anything to him because I was so disturbed.
- 23:16Speaker 2: We did this like dive bar, and we got burgers
- 23:19Speaker 2: and fries, and one of his fries dropped on the
- 23:21Speaker 2: ground of this dive bar and he just like picked
- 23:24Speaker 2: he took his time to pick it up and put
- 23:26Speaker 2: it back in his mouth, and I was like, that's disgusting, the.
- 23:30Speaker 3: Opposite of what I would do.
- 23:32Speaker 4: Yeah, I would not.
- 23:33Speaker 2: No, it's a lot. So this kind of gave me
- 23:36Speaker 2: a stomach like bug for them.
- 23:39Speaker 4: Do you know how she cuts up food for her kids.
- 23:43Speaker 4: She'll like, say she's eating, like cutting up like a
- 23:45Speaker 4: carrot or something. She'll bite it all into little chunks
- 23:49Speaker 4: in her mouth and spit it onto their plate.
- 23:51Speaker 3: Like a baby bird, like a baby bird.
- 23:54Speaker 4: And she'll make salads that way. She's breaking up croutons.
- 23:58Speaker 4: He'll bite it and then spit it in to the
- 24:00Speaker 4: bowl for a human adult like so weird. So she's
- 24:04Speaker 4: not clean by any means. So yeah, that's where her
- 24:07Speaker 4: and Kelsey really bond because she's like, ah, something real
- 24:12Speaker 4: because Kelsey's almost like too perfect to get along with. Yeah,
- 24:15Speaker 4: like everything is very tailored, you know. She says like
- 24:20Speaker 4: she's kind of more posh than Ashley. So when she
- 24:23Speaker 4: heard that she ate out of the trash can, she's like,
- 24:25Speaker 4: this is now my friend.
- 24:27Speaker 2: Yeah, this we can relate on something one new. It's
- 24:30Speaker 2: McDonald's too, you ate it out of the trash can.
- 24:33Speaker 2: We now see eye to eye and life. Yeah, the
- 24:38Speaker 2: wild move here too, and maybe this is a real
- 24:42Speaker 2: Housewives thing. You can maybe explain it to me. We're
- 24:44Speaker 2: getting a look inside these like beautiful people in a
- 24:48Speaker 2: way that I love when it comes to television. I
- 24:50Speaker 2: don't want to just see the glitz and glamour. I
- 24:52Speaker 2: want to see the real life. I want to see
- 24:54Speaker 2: why they are the way they are. And we start
- 24:56Speaker 2: talking about Rosie and how she left work, and there's
- 25:00Speaker 2: theories on if she left or she got fired. That's
- 25:02Speaker 2: not important here, but she talks about suffering from colitis
- 25:06Speaker 2: and Ashley says in the back seat she was bleeding
- 25:09Speaker 2: from her butthole, and I'm like, this is why this
- 25:15Speaker 2: is amazing, because like you would never watch this show
- 25:20Speaker 2: and expect these beautiful people to be talking about eating
- 25:23Speaker 2: burgers out of trash cans and bleeding from their buttholes.
- 25:27Speaker 4: I'm crying.
- 25:28Speaker 3: I find it fantastic.
- 25:30Speaker 4: Yeah, no, I love it. This whole scene, Like, yeah,
- 25:33Speaker 4: colitis in general is obviously awful, but it is like,
- 25:36Speaker 4: you know, it's poop talk, and these ladies are having
- 25:38Speaker 4: poop talk. But Ashley says she's bleeding from her butthole
- 25:41Speaker 4: because one time when time Ashley had food poisoning and
- 25:47Speaker 4: she was going to the bathroom like all day, all day,
- 25:50Speaker 4: all day, and then she comes into some room I'm
- 25:54Speaker 4: with my mom and she goes, well, I'm bleeding from
- 25:56Speaker 4: my butthole and we laugh for like what do you mean?
- 25:59Speaker 4: And then like to find out she actually just had
- 26:01Speaker 4: her perer. She wasn't actually blaeing from her butthole. So
- 26:03Speaker 4: that's why that term, like that phrase is like very
- 26:06Speaker 4: prominent in the ike and any family buttole.
- 26:10Speaker 3: I love it. Yeah, I want to see more of that.
- 26:13Speaker 2: I want to see more of the hidden camera where
- 26:15Speaker 2: these women get comfortable and they start talking about the
- 26:17Speaker 2: things that all humans deal with, but so few talk about. Yeah,
- 26:22Speaker 2: and I think it is amazing.
- 26:24Speaker 4: Everyone's loving this season. I really they're really not hiding
- 26:27Speaker 4: behind anything.
- 26:28Speaker 2: There's no height and I hope it stays that way.
- 26:31Speaker 2: Kelsey opens up a bottle of wine or a beer
- 26:34Speaker 2: with her teeth. Incredible party trick. I think it is
- 26:40Speaker 2: one that should be shown off more and more, and
- 26:42Speaker 2: also very impressive. The excursion is what it is. They
- 26:46Speaker 2: ride on a train rail for six miles. It's beautiful.
- 26:50Speaker 2: I would want to do it myself if I'm ever
- 26:53Speaker 2: in the area. I think it's great. But this is
- 26:55Speaker 2: where we get into the heart of the episode.
- 26:57Speaker 3: Lauren U.
- 26:58Speaker 2: All the women sit around, they start drinking wine. Everything
- 27:01Speaker 2: that day, we should mention feels very good in a
- 27:05Speaker 2: lot of ways, like very.
- 27:08Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 27:08Speaker 2: There's no drama, there's no poking at each other. It
- 27:12Speaker 2: feels like they're experiencing some fun things together. But we
- 27:15Speaker 2: sit down afterwards and things start to happen.
- 27:21Speaker 4: I guess it all stems because Rosie asked Liz, how
- 27:25Speaker 4: do you feel about Ashley? Yeah, and then Liz was like,
- 27:29Speaker 4: I don't really know her. Essentially, she doesn't give me
- 27:32Speaker 4: the time of day. She's scared of me. And then
- 27:35Speaker 4: Rosie looks at Alisha basically and said, right, Liz is scary, Alicia,
- 27:41Speaker 4: you said this, And then Alisha loses her mind, being like,
- 27:45Speaker 4: don't put word to my mouth down and I don't
- 27:49Speaker 4: loses it, And I think she loves it simply because
- 27:53Speaker 4: she's scared of Liz. If you really go back to
- 27:55Speaker 4: the heart of the issue is Lizzy's a scary person
- 27:58Speaker 4: and she wants to show her loyal to Liz.
- 28:01Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean, how do you feel about Rosie like
- 28:04Speaker 2: bringing that up? I felt like it was The intention
- 28:08Speaker 2: was not to cause drama because it was done in
- 28:10Speaker 2: front of everybody. It was a It felt like one
- 28:14Speaker 2: of those comments that, again that we've seen on this show,
- 28:16Speaker 2: that you make thinking it's going to be relatable and
- 28:19Speaker 2: widely accepted and then it turns into something you didn't
- 28:23Speaker 2: intend it to turn into. I don't think she meant
- 28:25Speaker 2: Liz being scary was was anything more than like I
- 28:31Speaker 2: think she thought Liz was aware of it, I guess,
- 28:33Speaker 2: and it's like, hey, you're scary, Liz. Like Alisha's even
- 28:38Speaker 2: said it. And she's your friend, and Alisha got very
- 28:43Speaker 2: defensive and it ended up blowing up to this argument
- 28:48Speaker 2: where I said, again, I'm impressed that they made eye
- 28:50Speaker 2: contact the whole time. Alisia says that, you know, welcome
- 28:53Speaker 2: to Rhode Island and this isn't like how we do
- 28:56Speaker 2: things here.
- 28:57Speaker 3: It kind of came out of nowhere.
- 28:59Speaker 4: I was shocked. Even Liz was like, what the hell's
- 29:02Speaker 4: going on? And then I think Dolores looked at Alisha,
- 29:04Speaker 4: and Alisha Liz isn't mad, so you don't need to
- 29:06Speaker 4: act like this, like you don't need to defend yourself
- 29:08Speaker 4: in front of Liz and she's like, yeah, but you
- 29:11Speaker 4: you if you come at me like this is what
- 29:13Speaker 4: you're gonna get, La la la. And then I guess
- 29:17Speaker 4: I don't remember who asked who to go like talk privately.
- 29:21Speaker 4: I think maybe Rosie was like, come over here and
- 29:23Speaker 4: talk to me. They end up patching it out. I
- 29:26Speaker 4: don't know how it came to a conclusion, but they
- 29:28Speaker 4: hugged it out within five minutes. And then they were like,
- 29:33Speaker 4: that's why they call her I forgot, they said, But
- 29:37Speaker 4: Liz was like, and that's why they call her something
- 29:39Speaker 4: ceci because she flip flopper Ceci or something, because she
- 29:45Speaker 4: gets really mad and then she makes up really quickly.
- 29:48Speaker 4: I'm scared of Alicia now, so I'm scared of Liz
- 29:50Speaker 4: and Alicia. And then the end they go one of
- 29:53Speaker 4: my favorite parts. I loved Alicia's house, but I love one.
- 29:56Speaker 4: I think it was Dolores or she was like, Ashle's
- 29:59Speaker 4: gonna need a bath and holy water after this, because
- 30:01Speaker 4: this is the most conflict she's ever seen in her
- 30:03Speaker 4: entire life.
- 30:04Speaker 2: It kind of feels like every episode there has to
- 30:06Speaker 2: be this moment. We should have expected it. Yeah, it
- 30:09Speaker 2: kind of felt like Alicia was speaking from now was
- 30:13Speaker 2: Rosie right or wrong? And bring it up in front
- 30:15Speaker 2: of everybody. I do think it was probably a misplaced
- 30:17Speaker 2: comment that came off incorrectly to Alicia. She was probably
- 30:21Speaker 2: at some level or has felt based on the conversation
- 30:26Speaker 2: leading up to it and the days before where everybody's like, hey, Alicia,
- 30:29Speaker 2: you got to figure your stuff out, Like your husband
- 30:31Speaker 2: is cutting you off. It might feel like she could
- 30:34Speaker 2: feel like she's being attacked in some way exactly, and
- 30:37Speaker 2: it's kind of held in and this was her moment
- 30:39Speaker 2: to say, no, stop this.
- 30:41Speaker 3: I think that's what I felt.
- 30:42Speaker 4: So smart, that is exactly what happened, because if you
- 30:45Speaker 4: notice over the whole episode, I think even when they're
- 30:48Speaker 4: role playing, they make from Alicia heart not knowing the
- 30:52Speaker 4: word intensive for all intensive purposes or some word like that,
- 30:58Speaker 4: and they make her feel stupid. And the whole time
- 31:02Speaker 4: it's like, you're so stupid, you're on the house, you're
- 31:04Speaker 4: not married. This whole episode was tearing her down. She
- 31:06Speaker 4: was like, I gotta fight back somehow, and Rosie's an
- 31:08Speaker 4: easy target.
- 31:10Speaker 2: Yeah, even if I mean, I know I do this
- 31:12Speaker 2: in my own life, like I'm sensitive if I get
- 31:17Speaker 2: the sense that over time somebody is continuing to pick
- 31:22Speaker 2: and prod even if they don't mean it that way,
- 31:24Speaker 2: I can take it that way, hold it in, and
- 31:27Speaker 2: then I do explode when the moment feels like I
- 31:31Speaker 2: can't take it any longer, I do do that. And
- 31:33Speaker 2: so I just felt like that's what was happening.
- 31:36Speaker 4: And also to be very misplaced too, like yeah, if
- 31:40Speaker 4: one of your co workers is doing it and you
- 31:42Speaker 4: come home, you'll let loose on your family and you're like,
- 31:44Speaker 4: I'm sorry, You're just an easy target right now. And
- 31:46Speaker 4: I think that's probably what happened.
- 31:48Speaker 2: Yeah, Rul this scene is kind of letting loose a
- 32:02Speaker 2: little bit. We get to see more and more of
- 32:04Speaker 2: Rula over this episode, and I appreciate that because she
- 32:08Speaker 2: was kind of hidden for a while, and I do
- 32:10Speaker 2: think her story is interesting. We don't know a lot
- 32:13Speaker 2: about it yet, but I do find her story very
- 32:16Speaker 2: interesting when it comes to, you know, her past relationships,
- 32:20Speaker 2: her current relationship, her relationship with her family. Who she
- 32:23Speaker 2: is as a friend to these women, because you know,
- 32:27Speaker 2: she was communicated to us as a boss, and we
- 32:29Speaker 2: don't really see her leadership during this season yet, but
- 32:33Speaker 2: I think we're getting to see more and more about
- 32:36Speaker 2: who she is now. Lauren during this scene, we are
- 32:41Speaker 2: one of the I think storylines that will continue throughout
- 32:44Speaker 2: the season. We're going to talk about it here and
- 32:45Speaker 2: just to bid in a little more detail on some
- 32:47Speaker 2: things that have come out since the airing of these episodes,
- 32:50Speaker 2: is the Brian situation. Who Brian is, what he's up
- 32:55Speaker 2: to behind the scenes, who he is as a person. Obviously,
- 32:57Speaker 2: we see Ashley comment that he isn't somebody that she
- 33:01Speaker 2: He is, somebody that she's kind of surprised, has a
- 33:03Speaker 2: mistress and a good looking wife because he's not that
- 33:06Speaker 2: attractive himself. But we Alicia starts to comment on Brian
- 33:10Speaker 2: as well.
- 33:11Speaker 4: Yeah, and Alicia give us a little insight here, a
- 33:13Speaker 4: little a little tea that Brian's first wife was Alicia's
- 33:18Speaker 4: Spanish teacher, and then Brian cheated on her with Rula.
- 33:23Speaker 4: So it's kind of the case of you you lose
- 33:26Speaker 4: him as you got him or got him, and you
- 33:28Speaker 4: lose on whatever the term is. So it seems like
- 33:31Speaker 4: Brian is a chronic cheater. And then what's also come
- 33:35Speaker 4: out while these episodes are airing is Brian's current mistress,
- 33:43Speaker 4: last summer mistress, posted on her Instagram allegedly that he's
- 33:51Speaker 4: that she's the the miss she's allegedly still Brian's mistress,
- 33:57Speaker 4: but that she's posting pictures in Rula's backyard and kind
- 34:03Speaker 4: of rubbing it in everyone's faces, and she is apparently
- 34:08Speaker 4: and allegedly loving all this attention.
- 34:12Speaker 2: Yeah, she's owning this like mistress, is what we're hearing.
- 34:16Speaker 2: And if it is true that she's posting from the backyard,
- 34:20Speaker 2: she's not trying to hide this and it doesn't really
- 34:23Speaker 2: sound like to me from watching it. My opinion is
- 34:26Speaker 2: that he's not really attempting to hide this either, right,
- 34:30Speaker 2: He's just trying not to get caught, but like not
- 34:32Speaker 2: get caught doing it, just not take ownership for it.
- 34:36Speaker 2: I mean, even in the last end of the episode
- 34:38Speaker 2: where he was being pressured to admit that it was over,
- 34:40Speaker 2: he couldn't do it.
- 34:41Speaker 3: And so he just doesn't want.
- 34:42Speaker 2: To have it come to the surface. But he's not
- 34:45Speaker 2: being very good about hiding it, especially if this alleged
- 34:49Speaker 2: picture from his backyard is of the mistress. It's out
- 34:53Speaker 2: there online right now. If you want to google and
- 34:55Speaker 2: find it, you can see it. The situation gets weirder
- 34:58Speaker 2: and weirder, and I think it is getting It is
- 35:01Speaker 2: sad because it doesn't seem like Rula. Some of these
- 35:04Speaker 2: women do seem okay with the behaviors of their husbands.
- 35:08Speaker 2: Rula really doesn't seem okay with this, and yet she's
- 35:11Speaker 2: put in this hard place of having to speak about
- 35:15Speaker 2: it over and over and over again. It's going to
- 35:18Speaker 2: be interesting. It's going to be very interesting to me
- 35:21Speaker 2: how this plays out Lauren throughout the season, Like where
- 35:24Speaker 2: does this end?
- 35:24Speaker 3: And does it end? We see the next.
- 35:26Speaker 2: Episode the ladies have a boat Day. Kelsey says something
- 35:31Speaker 2: to Rosie that she needs to support people, and Rosie says,
- 35:35Speaker 2: because I didn't tag you on Instagram.
- 35:38Speaker 4: So that's interesting. And also with Brian and Rula, I'm
- 35:41Speaker 4: just gonna say, like, I don't know how their marriage
- 35:43Speaker 4: could make it past this season. I just don't see
- 35:45Speaker 4: how it could happen, especially with this misterss beink so
- 35:47Speaker 4: open about everything. It's yucky.
- 35:49Speaker 2: It's probably I mean, I would assume too, with the
- 35:51Speaker 2: airing and the popularity of this season, it'll probably become
- 35:54Speaker 2: more and more open, especially if she, as we're hearing,
- 35:58Speaker 2: isn't hating the title of mistress. And Brian doesn't want
- 36:02Speaker 2: to have these conversations on camera, which continues to probably
- 36:05Speaker 2: push Rula away from the camera. We see in the
- 36:08Speaker 2: next episode that he asks her to leave with him.
- 36:12Speaker 2: He doesn't want to like talk about this in front
- 36:14Speaker 2: of the others or in front of any type of
- 36:16Speaker 2: evidence that can be put out against him at some point,
- 36:20Speaker 2: is what it seems to me. My final thought, Lauren,
- 36:24Speaker 2: these women have great memories because if somebody didn't tag
- 36:28Speaker 2: me in an Instagram post, yeah, and I felt like
- 36:31Speaker 2: they should have, I would be upset at the time,
- 36:35Speaker 2: and forget about it twenty four hours later, mostly not
- 36:37Speaker 2: because I meant to, just because I would have forgotten
- 36:40Speaker 2: about it and probably forgotten why I was upset in
- 36:42Speaker 2: the first place. These women are really good at remembering
- 36:46Speaker 2: why they're upset and who they're upset with.
- 36:49Speaker 4: It's a blessing and a curse to be a woman
- 36:50Speaker 4: and remember everyone that's supposed to tag you, but we remember.
- 36:54Speaker 4: I know, I know she probably is looking at Rosie
- 36:57Speaker 4: like being like, you knew my handle, I didn't you
- 37:00Speaker 4: say something? So, But I think Act week looks great.
- 37:03Speaker 4: Another juicy episode, another fight with Rosie. Poor Rosie. I
- 37:07Speaker 4: hope she's doing okay, because anyway.
- 37:09Speaker 2: Would you've expected this you knew her before the season, Lauren,
- 37:12Speaker 2: would you have expected this character out of her?
- 37:15Speaker 4: I don't know if I'm biased here, but I just
- 37:18Speaker 4: don't think she's being that dramatic. I don't think she's
- 37:20Speaker 4: being that polarizing. I think the women are just like
- 37:23Speaker 4: I think they're just using her as a scapegoat to
- 37:26Speaker 4: argue about something. I don't know. Maybe because they're not
- 37:28Speaker 4: as close with her, they can find it easier to
- 37:30Speaker 4: argue with her. But I don't think she's that problematic.
- 37:34Speaker 2: Is there any world here when it comes to the Housewives,
- 37:37Speaker 2: I don't know. I'm asking that she's replaceable in a
- 37:42Speaker 2: lot of ways as a character, and so the Housewives
- 37:45Speaker 2: is okay with her kind of taking the brunt of
- 37:48Speaker 2: the drama for a season or two.
- 37:50Speaker 4: Yeah, I mean, I wouldn't say she's replaceable. I think
- 37:53Speaker 4: she brings a lot of the two groups together because
- 37:57Speaker 4: there's an obvious like two groups forming, So I think
- 38:02Speaker 4: she kind of is the bridge with the group. So
- 38:04Speaker 4: I think she's kind of very valuable there. I wouldn't
- 38:08Speaker 4: say she was like a classic housewife though, Like she
- 38:10Speaker 4: was a reporter and she's just kind of a good
- 38:12Speaker 4: dramatic girl, you know, but she's not like the classic
- 38:14Speaker 4: housewife archetype.
- 38:16Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 38:17Speaker 4: I will not say Rosie is replaceable though.
- 38:19Speaker 3: Good well, I'm glad stand up.
- 38:21Speaker 4: For you're testing my loyalty as a woman.
- 38:28Speaker 2: I mean, I just think so many of these ladies
- 38:30Speaker 2: are huge characters, and it feels like most shows I
- 38:34Speaker 2: watch have the one person that's in a sense the
- 38:36Speaker 2: scapegoat for the drama. Yeah, and then at some point
- 38:40Speaker 2: they're like, if she gets so mad at being a
- 38:42Speaker 2: part of.
- 38:42Speaker 3: This show that she leaves.
- 38:45Speaker 2: That's okay because she isn't the Liz and she's not
- 38:48Speaker 2: the this like, yeah, yeah, she can get so mad
- 38:52Speaker 2: at us, and we're okay testing those waters.
- 38:55Speaker 4: I also think Rosie isn't afraid to stand up for herself,
- 38:57Speaker 4: so it's not like they would like they would be
- 39:00Speaker 4: in a fight with Ashley, who would be like, yeah, okaying,
- 39:02Speaker 4: you're so ry good. But Rosie will come back, and
- 39:06Speaker 4: so that's why they can kind of attack her more.
- 39:09Speaker 3: Yeah, that makes a lot of sense. That does Okay.
- 39:12Speaker 2: Well, we'll be back next week breaking down another episode
- 39:16Speaker 2: of the Real Housewives of Rhode Island lorn Any final
- 39:19Speaker 2: thoughts on this episode are so far in.
- 39:22Speaker 4: The season, I mean, I don't know if this happens,
- 39:24Speaker 4: but I would love to see Brian's mistress come into play.
- 39:28Speaker 4: I would like to see her and try and defend
- 39:31Speaker 4: herself because her advertising this all over the state and
- 39:35Speaker 4: now country is wild. And I know she showed up
- 39:38Speaker 4: to an event where all the housewives were a couple
- 39:41Speaker 4: months back, and she had the balls to do that,
- 39:44Speaker 4: so I guess I just want to see more from that.
- 39:48Speaker 4: I do feel bad for Roula that the most dramatic
- 39:50Speaker 4: juicy thing is like her life falling apart, but I'd
- 39:53Speaker 4: like to see more of that. And next week it
- 39:55Speaker 4: looks like a man is her on a boat and
- 39:57Speaker 4: that looks kind of interesting.
- 39:59Speaker 2: As there's so much look forward to, Lauren and I
- 40:03Speaker 2: look forward to any week that I get to talk
