- 0:00Speaker 1: What's up everyone, and welcome to another episode of the
- 0:03Epstein Chronicles. So now we've come to the part of
- 0:07the story that the brologarchs hope would never come into
- 0:11the light. Not the island, not the flights, not the
- 0:15salacious headlines they could laugh off as gossip. I'm talking
- 0:19about the paper trail, the emails, calendars, introductions, wire records,
- 0:24and quiet investments, the Jeffrey Epstein files that are now
- 0:28circling the true centers of modern power, the oligarchs of
- 0:33Silicon Valley. And let me be clear from the jump,
- 0:36this isn't about one rogue predator slipping into tech cocktail parties.
- 0:40This is about a system that welcomed them, used them,
- 0:44and profited alongside them. Epstein wasn't just lurking on the
- 0:49margins at tech. He was embedded. He was meeting founders
- 0:53before they were famous, attaching himself to early stage companies,
- 0:57floating money through opeg vehicles, emperors, venting himself as a
- 1:01fixer who could open doors. No accelerator ever could. The
- 1:05file show Epstein operating as a shadow venture capitalist, not
- 1:10pitching ideas but picking people. He wasn't betting on products,
- 1:14he was betting on access, leverage, and future obedience. And
- 1:18at this point this pattern is very familiar. Silicone Valley
- 1:23loves to pretend it's a meritocracy built on code and brilliance,
- 1:27but the Epstein records tell a different story, one of
- 1:31backroom trust, whispered referrals, and no questions asked capital. He
- 1:36didn't just fund startups, he funded founders, He paid tuition,
- 1:40He wired loans that never had to be repaid. He
- 1:43embedded himself as a patron to people who would one
- 1:46day control platforms shaping global discourse, finance, surveillance, and political influence.
- 1:54And here's the part that really should make your skin crawl.
- 1:57Epstein wasn't hiding who he was when much of this happened.
- 2:00By the time many of these relationships deepened, his reputation
- 2:04was already radioactive and public. Yet in private, Silicon Valley
- 2:08kept the door open. Why Because Epstein understood the tech
- 2:12elite better than they understood themselves. He knew they prized
- 2:16disruption over morality, ambition over accountability, and growth over scrutiny.
- 2:23He sold himself as a necessary evil in a world
- 2:26that already believed it was above the rules. The files
- 2:31lay bare a truth that Silicon Valley pr teams are
- 2:34now scrambling to smother. Epstein wasn't tolerated despite his crimes.
- 2:38He was tolerated because he was useful. He introduced people
- 2:43to money, He introduced money to secrecy. He bridged finance, academia, intelligence,
- 2:49and tech into one murky ecosystem where ethics were treated
- 2:53as an inconvenience and victims as secondary. It's sickening because
- 2:59this is an ancient history. These are the same circles
- 3:01that lecture the public about safety, trust and responsibility today
- 3:06and monetize your attention and sitting in their origin stories
- 3:10like a rotting beam in the foundation, is Jeffrey Epstein
- 3:14signing checks, making calls, and shaping futures. So save the
- 3:18whole entire this is about embarrassment routine, because it's not.
- 3:23It's about complicity. The Epstein files aren't coming for Silicon
- 3:27Valley because of gossip. They're coming because the receipts are real.
- 3:32And for an industry that claims to worship transparency in data,
- 3:35there is nothing more damning than its own records finally
- 3:39telling the truth. This article was published by NBC News
- 3:43headlined latest Epstein files release rattles Silicon Valley. This article
- 3:51was authored by David Ingraham and Bruno Horvath. The latest
- 3:57release of Jeffrey Epstein files from the Justice Department indicates
- 4:00that the late sex offender maintained wider and deeper connections
- 4:05in the tech industry than was previously known. The revelations
- 4:09are now causing fractures in the usually clubby world of
- 4:12Silicon Valley. Well, look, if you paid attention even a
- 4:16little bit, you knew all of this. Like people are
- 4:20shocked about Brock Peers. You know, we were talking about
- 4:23Brock Pierce and his Epstein escapades literally five or six
- 4:28years ago. And so it's always laughable when this news
- 4:31gets recycled as something new. Now, it might be new
- 4:34to you, NBC, but to those of us who have
- 4:37been following along, we all know, and we all knew
- 4:40that Silicon Valley was playing their part too. Emails and
- 4:45other documents show that Epstein was in contact with at
- 4:48least twenty prominent tech executives, investors, and researchers, including some
- 4:54current CEOs, according to an NBC News review of a
- 4:58portion of the documents. In emails, they discussed a wide
- 5:02array of subjects such as startup investments, the prospects of bitcoin,
- 5:06social gatherings, helicopter rentals, and in one case, negotiations over
- 5:11a corporate exit package. Sure sounds like somebody that had
- 5:15intimate knowledge and intimate relationships with these people know. And
- 5:19the wildest part is how many of these tech gurus
- 5:22have tried to distance themselves from Epstein. The problem is
- 5:26the paper trail doesn't lie. Two tech billionaires, Tesla CEO
- 5:32Elon Musk and LinkedIn co founder Ried Hoffmann, have been
- 5:36locked in a social media struggle for days since the
- 5:39documents were released, trading public insults on x as. They
- 5:43have accused each other of having exercised poor judgment in
- 5:47connection with Epstein. Both men were already known associates of Epstein,
- 5:52and the documents released on Friday included further details about
- 5:56further connections. Authorities have not accused either of wrongdoing in
- 6:01connection with Epstein. Well, they're both liars. That's a fact.
- 6:07Anything else past that, well, we need evidence, But I
- 6:09think there's ample evidence to show us that both of
- 6:12these clowns are liars. And you know what's wild as
- 6:15hell that we let these people run the world. These
- 6:19are the dudes that were getting shoved in lockers in
- 6:21high school. These are the dudes that were getting atomic wedgies.
- 6:26But sure, let's let them run the whole entire world.
- 6:29And as far as the girls go, we're talking about
- 6:32dudes that could never get girls growing up, right, dudes
- 6:35that never had women around them. And then they meet
- 6:38this guy, Jeffrey Epstein, and he has all these girls,
- 6:42and before you know it, these dudes think they're in heaven.
- 6:45But while they're in heaven, what they don't care about
- 6:48is the fact that the girls that are being trafficked
- 6:51to them, the girls that are being abused by them,
- 6:53well those girls, they're in hell. On Tuesday night, Hoffman
- 6:59and Musk we're still battling online. After Hoffman call for
- 7:03justice for Epstein's victims, Musk taunted them, while you're at it,
- 7:07maybe you can help Bojay find the real killer, a
- 7:10reference to Oj Simpson. Hoffman jab back at Musk by
- 7:14posting a screenshot of an email in which Musk asked
- 7:17Epstein in twenty twelve, what day or night will be
- 7:20the wildest party on your island? And this stupid, disgusting
- 7:25bastard elon. Musk ask that of Jeffrey Epstein after Jeffrey
- 7:30Epstein was already convicted. So what's the excuse. Oh what,
- 7:34he's one of your faves, so he gets a pass.
- 7:37He builds rocket ships, so he gets a pass. Not here,
- 7:41not on this podcast, not ever. Every last one of
- 7:44these dudes can get fucked. None of these dudes are heroes.
- 7:49None of these dudes are role models. All these dudes
- 7:52are degenerate scumbags. And now it's not only me telling
- 7:56you that you can read the emails for yourself. It's
- 7:59been known for years that Epstein had friendships or business
- 8:02relationships with major tech figures, including Microsoft co founder Bill
- 8:06Gates and tech investor Peter Thiel, both of whom are
- 8:11named in the millions of pages in the most recent release.
- 8:15Authorities have accused neither of them of wrongdoing. Epstein also
- 8:19hosted dinners at which scientists and tech entrepreneurs would gather.
- 8:24Oh so that makes it okay if little Johnny jumps
- 8:28off the building, you should follow him. Like, didn't you
- 8:31learn that as a kid just because your friends are
- 8:34doing something doesn't mean you should do it. Did your
- 8:37parents never tell you that? I know mine did be
- 8:40a leader don't be a follower the whole thing. But
- 8:43I guess the richest men in the world, you know,
- 8:46they don't know any better. They don't know that this
- 8:47guy's on molester. They don't know he did time for
- 8:50diddling a kid. No big deal. Let's go to Jeffrey
- 8:53Epstein's house for some dinner. Are you fucking serious right now?
- 8:57And then you expect us to just accept that what
- 8:59they think? We're all Michael Tracy. But the files include
- 9:04communication with and references to others from the tech sector
- 9:08who have not been publicly associated with Epstein, and they
- 9:12provide more detail about the relationship that were already publicly known.
- 9:16In some instances, the relationships appear to have been lopsided,
- 9:20with Epstein showing more initiative to stay in touch, but
- 9:23some of the tech figures also eagerly sought Epstein's advice
- 9:27or help on business and personal matters. For some tech
- 9:32executives or investors, such as Musk, the documents demonstrate a
- 9:36closer relationship to Abstein than they had previously acknowledged. I've
- 9:41told you this for years now. I'm not saying they
- 9:43were best friends, but they were at dinners together, conferences,
- 9:46scientific meetups, the whole thing, and Elon Musk talks all
- 9:50that shit like you some kind of tough guy. Bro.
- 9:53You're not a tough guy, all right, stop it. You're
- 9:55a dorky dude who's into tech and who's into science,
- 9:59and that's okay, but own it. Don't run around like
- 10:03you're some kind of tough guy like you're looking for justice.
- 10:06Because if you were really a tough guy and you
- 10:08were at a dinner with Jeffrey Epstein's bitch ass, it
- 10:11would have been on site. The second you seen him
- 10:14walk in the room, you would have got up and
- 10:16punched them directly in the face. Elon Musk has fuck
- 10:20you money. What's he gonna do? Get sued? Big deal?
- 10:24So he talks all that tough shit on the internet,
- 10:26gets on Twitter X whatever you want to call it,
- 10:29runs his fat yeap, and then goes and breaks bread
- 10:32with Jeffrey Epstein. Save the bullshit. I mean, how do
- 10:35you think he got that black guy? My guess is
- 10:38he tried that tough guy routine off the internet and
- 10:42he found out isn't that their favorite saying faffo all
- 10:45these weird ass boomers. Well, I guess he faffoed. Hoffman's
- 10:49size to Epstein had been revealed in earlier releases of
- 10:53the files. In twenty twenty three, The Wall Street Journal
- 10:56reported that Hoffman visited Epstein's island and introduced Epstein to Fiel.
- 11:01Hoffman and Epstein shared interest in cryptocurrency and appeared to
- 11:05have a close relationship, with Epstein, writing in an email
- 11:09exchange with Hoffman that he missed talking and seeing him. Oh,
- 11:13they were definitely close, to read Hoffman's another Liar, an
- 11:17Absolute liar. The newly released document show that Epstein's schedule
- 11:21meetings with Hoffman several times from twenty thirteen to twenty eighteen,
- 11:26via email, online Skype calls, and in person meetings laid
- 11:30out in written itineraries. In an email exchange with Epstein
- 11:34in twenty thirteen, Hoffman asked to set up a Skype
- 11:38call to talk to him about when he would be
- 11:40at his island. In another email, Epstein invited Hoffman to
- 11:44his island or his New Mexico ranch to play. Whatever
- 11:48that means. Probably pretty concerning when a guy like Jeffrey
- 11:53Epstein is inviting you to come play. And again, timelines matter.
- 11:57This is twenty fourteen we're talking about. In an exchange
- 12:02in twenty fourteen, Hoffmann wrote that he had sent gifts
- 12:05to Ebstein's home in New York, which included ice cream
- 12:09for the girls and something that may strike your funny
- 12:12bone for the island. It's not clear which girls Hoffman
- 12:15was referring to or what the other gift was. A
- 12:19spokesperson for Hoffman did not immediately respond to a request
- 12:23for comment. Oh he has nothing to say now, huh,
- 12:25mister twitter fingers. Sure is quiet now, isn't he. Hoffman
- 12:30said Tuesday on X that he only knew Jeffrey Epstein
- 12:32because of a fundraising relationship with the Massachusetts Institute of Technology,
- 12:38which I very much regret. In a separate ex reply,
- 12:41Hoffman wrote that he did not go to the ranch.
- 12:44He did confirm that he went to Epstein's island in
- 12:46another reply, writing that he went with joy Eto, the
- 12:50director of the MIT Media Lab, who had asked me
- 12:54to help MIT fundraise from Epstein. There's that excuse again.
- 12:58Oh well, joy Eto was doing it, so it's okay, right, No,
- 13:02it's not okay, and you're both degenerates. Ito did not
- 13:06respond to a request for comment. He resigned as MIT
- 13:10Media Lab director in twenty nineteen and published an apology
- 13:14for having associated with Epstein, saying he never saw any
- 13:18evidence of the horrific acts that he was accused of. Of course,
- 13:22not all those young girls. They were there because Jeffrey
- 13:25Epstein is just a modern day Adonnis, real handsome fella
- 13:30that Jeffrey Epstein, Hoffman, Musk, and Feel are all former
- 13:37PayPal executives from the company's early days, illustrating how small
- 13:41the tech sector can be. They have all greatly added
- 13:44to their wealth since then and have been heavily involved
- 13:47in politics. Hoffman for Democrats and Musk and Feel for Republicans.
- 13:53Epstein was a registered sex offender who pleaded guilty in
- 13:57two thousand and eight to procuring an underage girl for prospers.
- 14:01His case got some media attention at the time, and
- 14:03the scrutiny on him ramped up in twenty fifteen after
- 14:07victims began providing more details about their allegations in court records.
- 14:12Don't try and cover for him. Everybody knew the deal.
- 14:17This dude was arrested. It was a big deal back
- 14:19in two thousand and eight, and the smartest people in
- 14:21the room read Hoffman Elon Musk Bill Gates. They knew
- 14:27exactly what Epstein was, and they didn't care. Epstein died
- 14:33in the jail cell in August of twenty nineteen after
- 14:36federal prosecutors charged them with sex trafficking. Some of those
- 14:40who met Epstein said they did not follow the news
- 14:43about his case. One of the documents in the latest
- 14:46release is an email exchange in twenty seventeen between Epstein
- 14:51and Brian Johnson, a tech entrepreneur an investor who was
- 14:55focused on slowing the aging process. They were introduced to
- 15:00email by mutual contact Alex Clocus, at the time the
- 15:04CEO of the media website Futurism. Epstein and Johnson agreed
- 15:08to a video conference call. Oh. I had no idea.
- 15:12Nobody told me that Jeffrey Epstein was a notorious diddler.
- 15:15I didn't have access to the news back then. I
- 15:18didn't have people around me that were in charge of security.
- 15:23These people think you're dumb. That's really what it comes
- 15:25down to. During that call, I was left with a deep,
- 15:29unsettling feeling and left the call feeling as though Epstein
- 15:32was the most dark and evil person I had ever encountered.
- 15:36He said in the email. Clocus, who introduced them, did
- 15:39not respond to a request for comment. The latest Epstein
- 15:44documents also reveal that he was an investor in Coinbase,
- 15:48a cryptocurrency exchange founded in twenty twelve. He invested about
- 15:53three million dollars in the startup, less than one percent ownership,
- 15:56according to coinbase valuation at the time, and emails show
- 16:01that he and coinbase co founder Fred Ursom tried to
- 16:06meet in person in two thousand and four. It's not
- 16:09clear whether that meeting ever took place. Coinbase declined to comment.
- 16:14Ersom's new company, Paradigm, did not respond to a request
- 16:18for comment. Well, that's not shocking. Last thing I want
- 16:21to do is talk about this shit. That's for damn sure.
- 16:25The release of the documents Friday has set off a
- 16:27scramble as the people whose names appear in the files
- 16:30respond to public criticism on social media or try to
- 16:34avoid the spotlight. It's still unclear what the eventual repercussions
- 16:39from tech figures association with Epstein could be, but some
- 16:43of them have experienced personal fallout. Melinda French Gates, Bill
- 16:47gates ex wife, told NPR in an interview on Tuesday,
- 16:51that Gates needed to answer for his behavior with Epstein. Well, yeah,
- 16:56probably a good idea, but once again, do you think
- 16:59he's going to do You think anyone's going to be
- 17:02able to compel him to do so? He should at
- 17:05least be called before Congress. Right. Bill Gates said last
- 17:09year that he had been foolish and quite stupid to
- 17:12spend any time with Epstein. The latest Epstein documents include
- 17:16a series of emails that Epstein sent to himself in
- 17:20twenty thirteen, appearing to suggest that Gates was having an
- 17:24extramarital affair and seeking illicit drugs. A spokesperson for Gates
- 17:30deny those allegations, calling them completely false and an attempt
- 17:34by Epstein to entrap Gates. And there's probably some truth
- 17:37to that, but I have no doubt that Bill Gates
- 17:40did what Jeffrey Epstein was suggesting. We have heard about
- 17:44numerous women that were provided for Bill Gates, a lot
- 17:47of them nameless, a lot of its speculation. But then
- 17:51we see here in Jeffrey Epstein's email that he sent
- 17:54as a draft to himself, that Bill Gates was in
- 17:58fact engaging in some pretty devious shit, whether it was
- 18:02with underage girls or not. I can't tell you, but
- 18:07we have heard from multiple adults that that was going on.
- 18:12And let's be very clear, just because somebody is of
- 18:15age doesn't mean they can't be trafficked. So that's a
- 18:17whole lest other conversation. In some cases, the Epstein files
- 18:22raised more questions than answers about why some tech executives
- 18:26or investors appeared to seek out Epstein's advice so often.
- 18:30Epstein came out of New York's financial industry and lived
- 18:33primarily in Manhattan, making them, on paper, something of a
- 18:37stranger to the tech hubs of northern California and Seattle.
- 18:42One tech figure who shows up repeatedly in the latest
- 18:45document release is Steven Sinofsky, a one time protege of
- 18:49Gates who was the Microsoft executive in charge of Windows
- 18:53before he left the company in twenty twelve after a
- 18:57disastrous product launch. The file include numerous emails between Snofsky
- 19:03and Epstein dated soon after Sinofsky left Microsoft, as he
- 19:07was negotiating an exit package that included a fourteen million
- 19:12dollar retirement payment. Must be nice, Must be nice, Get
- 19:17yourself a nice little golden parachute on the way out.
- 19:21Can go and be a scumbag full time. That shit's
- 19:24a dream come true for these type of fellow travelers.
- 19:28For reasons the emails do not make clear, Sinofsky turned
- 19:31to Abstein to help negotiate the exit package and to
- 19:35navigate the next phase of his career, even though Epstein
- 19:38did not have particular expertise in the software sector. Sinofsky
- 19:43also told Epstein that he planned to share his exit
- 19:45payment with him in exchange for the help. According to
- 19:48the emails, which were reported by The Verge and other outlets,
- 19:53Sinofsky declined to comment, well, isn't that nice. I have
- 19:58nothing to say to you peasants. Beat it. It doesn't
- 20:01matter if I was getting money from this diddler, doesn't
- 20:03matter if I was getting advice from him. Not your business,
- 20:06is it? Now? Go do my laundry, make my food,
- 20:11Come pick me up in your uber. In an email
- 20:14exchange with Snofsky in twenty twelve, Epstein suggested that he
- 20:18was in communication with Tim Cook, who a year earlier
- 20:21had become CEO of Apple. Epstein wrote to Snofsky that
- 20:26Cook was excited by the idea of meeting Sinofsky, who
- 20:29at the time was looking for a new job, but
- 20:32according to Ebstein, Cook was concerned that Snofsky might start
- 20:36a new company with a former Apple executive. Epstein doesn't
- 20:40make it clear whether he spoke to Cook directly or
- 20:44through a third party, and does not elaborate on whether
- 20:47or how well he and Cook knew each other. Apple,
- 20:51where Cook remained CEO did not respond to a request
- 20:54for comment in another document. In the most recent release
- 20:57of the Epstein files, Google co founder Sergey Brynn emailed
- 21:01with Epstein's girlfriend he mean co conspirator, fellow all around scumbag,
- 21:06child abuser, and bipedal serpent Glenn Maxwell about meeting up
- 21:10with Epstein during a trip to New York in two
- 21:13thousand and three, well before Epstein's two thousand and eight
- 21:16guilty plea. Let me know what works for you, and
- 21:19Jeffrey Brynn wrote. Larry Page, Brin's Google co founder, also
- 21:23appears in the files, including in a twenty ten email
- 21:27from a redacted sender. The sender says Page's personal pilot
- 21:31wants to use Epstein's helicopter for a vacation in the
- 21:34Caribbean and wants Epstein's approval. The files do not appear
- 21:39to include a response. Google did not respond to a
- 21:42request for comment. Deal, a billionaire tech investor and former
- 21:47Facebook board member known for his early support to Donald
- 21:50Trump in twenty sixteen, appears in thousands of new Epstein documents,
- 21:55some of which are duplicates. He appears in emails arranging
- 22:00for lunches or other meetups in twenty fourteen through twenty seventeen,
- 22:04including at least one lunch at theal's San Francisco office.
- 22:09This guy is dangerous, Pallenteer, THEAL, the whole entire intelligence
- 22:14apparatus we're dealing with not good. These dudes want every
- 22:18aspect of your life under surveillance. A representative for THAL
- 22:24did not respond to a request for comment. One document
- 22:27from the latest Epstein files is an email exchange between
- 22:30Epstein's assistant and the chief of staff for Meta CEO
- 22:34Mark Zuckerberg. The exchange is from twenty fifteen, when Zuckerberg's
- 22:39company was still called Facebook. Epstein's assistant wrote that Epstein
- 22:44and Zuckerberg had recently attended the same group dinner hosted
- 22:48by Hoffmann in Palo Alto, California, a fact that became
- 22:52publicly known in twenty nineteen. But yeah, no big deal
- 22:56right read nothing to see here. You guys weren't really
- 23:00close at the party. Mark requested Jeffrey send his contact
- 23:04details to him. Could you please pass the below onto Mark.
- 23:08Epstein's assistant Leslie Groff wrote, noted with thanks. Zuckerberg's chief
- 23:13of staff, Andrea Bessmann replied, there's no evidence the two
- 23:18men spoke after the dinner, and Meta says they did not. Well,
- 23:22that's up to you to believe it or not. I
- 23:24don't know one way or the other. Mark mett Epstein
- 23:28in passing one time at a dinner honoring scientists that
- 23:31was not organized by Epstein, Mark did not communicate with
- 23:34Epstein again following the dinner, Meta said in a statement
- 23:38on Wednesday, reiterating a statement from twenty nineteen. According to
- 23:44other emails, Epstein attended or planned to attend numerous large
- 23:47group dinners at which prominent tech executives were present, although
- 23:52it was not always clear whether he spoke to them there.
- 23:55Amazon founder Jeff Bezos was at an Edge Foundation dinner
- 23:59for billionaires Vancouver, British Columbia in twenty fourteen, according to
- 24:04photos from the event, and Epstein, a donor to the foundation,
- 24:08plan to attend the same dinner, according to emails in
- 24:11the latest release. Another email in twenty eleven has about
- 24:15thirty confirmed attendees for a planned dinner in Long Beach, California,
- 24:19with Bezos, Brin, and Musk among those listed. Amazon did
- 24:24not respond to a request for comment. And that's the
- 24:27billionaire dinner I was talking about. So look all these
- 24:30people that get up there and tell you all this
- 24:32flowery bullshit about how they care about you, how they're
- 24:35these great defenders of humanity. They're all breaking bread with
- 24:39Epstein too. And the truth is, the whole entire power
- 24:42structure of not only America, but the world is broken,
- 24:47and the people that inhabit it are a very very
- 24:50very very degenerate, sick people. And I want you to
