- 0:38Speaker 2: My name is Scott Boucher's. And now the Man, the myth,
- 0:42Speaker 2: and the legend, Daniel Rayes. I just pushed the buttons, man,
- 0:47Speaker 2: I just pushed the See here's the thing about that, Daniel. Ye,
- 0:51Speaker 2: you're the only one that knows how to push the buttons.
- 0:53Speaker 4: That's true. That's true.
- 0:56Speaker 2: That's not that. How are you?
- 0:58Speaker 4: How good are you?
- 0:59Speaker 2: Man? I'm just peachy. Well. Like I said in the intro,
- 1:02Speaker 2: i am not at my at my star base right now.
- 1:07Speaker 2: I'm actually, uh at a different location. I'm at Star
- 1:10Speaker 2: Base Wisconsin. Del's in Wisconsin.
- 1:14Speaker 4: Are you getting a Are you getting a cheese infusion?
- 1:16Speaker 4: Is that what's going on?
- 1:17Speaker 2: Yes, We're definitely gonna try to get some cheese and fusion.
- 1:20Speaker 2: Where we're gonna go see the the Harley Davison Shuttlecraft
- 1:24Speaker 2: factory later this week. Yep, so we're looking forward to that,
- 1:29Speaker 2: plus the Exotic Alien Zoo in Milwaukee. We're gonna check
- 1:32Speaker 2: that out.
- 1:33Speaker 4: Are you going to pick up a new while you're there?
- 1:36Speaker 2: I think I'm gonna pick up some Shuttlecraft U uniforms, yes, yeah, yeah,
- 1:42Speaker 2: like the the uniform that Tom Paris wears whenever he flies,
- 1:45Speaker 2: like you know, the Delta Flyer or like isn't a
- 1:48Speaker 2: race right, yeah, on a little family vacation right now.
- 1:54Speaker 2: But you know, I have a I have a duty
- 1:57Speaker 2: to uh to do the podcast. So here.
- 2:00Speaker 4: Yeah, well we missed last two weeks. One week we
- 2:03Speaker 4: had planned. The other week I got sick.
- 2:05Speaker 2: Still a little bit there. But yeah, Dan is at
- 2:09Speaker 2: a Klingon martial arts tournament.
- 2:13Speaker 4: That's right. I was trying to remember the name of
- 2:15Speaker 4: those tournaments. The word work would always get into right, Yeah,
- 2:19Speaker 4: he's one of those.
- 2:21Speaker 2: It's like the Clanon word for blade or the clean
- 2:24Speaker 2: On word for bat. He's in a battle tournament.
- 2:27Speaker 4: Yeah, something like that. Yeah, but yeah, so hopefully that's right. Yes,
- 2:36Speaker 4: So you know we're wishing him well.
- 2:39Speaker 2: So how are you feeling? We all heard that you
- 2:42Speaker 2: were under the weather. Yeah.
- 2:44Speaker 4: Oh, I mean I'm fine, just a little rundown, that's all.
- 2:49Speaker 4: I'm much better than I was earlier, you know last.
- 2:52Speaker 2: Week, Yeah, where you had lost your voice.
- 2:56Speaker 4: Yeah, there was a day and a half I literally
- 2:57Speaker 4: had no voice. Oh wow, it was it was crazy.
- 3:02Speaker 2: I'm sure there are people around here that wish that
- 3:04Speaker 2: happened to me.
- 3:05Speaker 4: I'm sure for me as well. It was kind of
- 3:09Speaker 4: funny because my voice was like it was constantly cracking,
- 3:13Speaker 4: as if I was going through puberty.
- 3:15Speaker 2: Oh okay.
- 3:16Speaker 4: Yeah. So like I'd be able to like start words,
- 3:19Speaker 4: but I couldn't.
- 3:19Speaker 2: Finish them, you know, right right. Yeah.
- 3:23Speaker 4: So, like at one point I went to go get
- 3:25Speaker 4: a burrito because I was like, I don't feel like cooking,
- 3:27Speaker 4: I'm gonna just go get food. And I couldn't even
- 3:30Speaker 4: get the burrito order out.
- 3:33Speaker 2: You're like, I'd like it.
- 3:35Speaker 4: I like yeah, And I couldn't get it out. So
- 3:38Speaker 4: I just drove up to the window and I had
- 3:39Speaker 4: a text ready to.
- 3:40Speaker 2: Go, like this is what I want. Oh okay, okay, wait,
- 3:45Speaker 2: where where are you getting your burritos from? Uh?
- 3:48Speaker 4: There's a there's a Mexican place here in Quarterlane.
- 3:52Speaker 2: That's okay, Okay, I was hoping you weren't gonna say,
- 3:55Speaker 2: like Taco Bell. God, no, I didn't want you to
- 3:58Speaker 2: have to hand in your your Hispanic heritage card.
- 4:02Speaker 4: No, no, no, no, okay, I could not do that.
- 4:05Speaker 4: I mean we got a Del Taco too, but no,
- 4:08Speaker 4: that's what happened.
- 4:08Speaker 2: Well, Del Taco would be a little more ethnic than
- 4:11Speaker 2: Taco Bell. I think.
- 4:14Speaker 4: Slightly. They got better flightly.
- 4:17Speaker 2: Yeah, okay, you know those those those Mexican French fries
- 4:20Speaker 2: that we all.
- 4:21Speaker 4: Love, right, that's right, that's right. But but you've been good.
- 4:28Speaker 2: Yeah, everything's going good. Like I said, we're we're on
- 4:31Speaker 2: a little family trip. And so yeah, I didn't do
- 4:35Speaker 2: the show last week, like I said, Dan's Dan's gone.
- 4:37Speaker 2: So yeah, we've been doing the Star Trek movies for
- 4:41Speaker 2: like the last eleven hundred weeks, so we decided to
- 4:43Speaker 2: hit it a little bit. Yeah.
- 4:47Speaker 4: So yeah, we've got We've got Strange Worlds coming back around.
- 4:51Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, yeah, looking forward to that, a lot of
- 4:55Speaker 2: stuff coming up, the new Superman movies coming up next month,
- 4:58Speaker 2: Worlds coming out.
- 5:00Speaker 4: Oh yeah, Well, we should probably get to the news
- 5:03Speaker 4: because there's a lot to talk about.
- 5:05Speaker 2: Let's do it.
- 5:05Speaker 4: All right, let's get to the news star trek News.
- 5:11Speaker 4: All right, So our first new story comes to us
- 5:13Speaker 4: from trekmovie dot com. Let me pull this up here,
- 5:17Speaker 4: and we have got episode titles for Strange New World
- 5:21Speaker 4: season three. Yeah, and we got all ten episodes. We
- 5:25Speaker 4: got Imagine Part two, which is the end of that cliffhanger.
- 5:31Speaker 4: So that's cool. It's funny to me that episode two
- 5:34Speaker 4: will be wedding Bell Blues.
- 5:37Speaker 2: Oh boy.
- 5:39Speaker 4: Yeah, so like I think that's funny, Like, hey, we're
- 5:42Speaker 4: all gonna die, let's have a wedding.
- 5:46Speaker 2: I'm sure, like most TV shows, the wedding will go
- 5:48Speaker 2: off without a hitch.
- 5:52Speaker 4: Oh for sure. Yeah, it'll be fine.
- 5:53Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 5:54Speaker 4: We have episode three, a shuttle to ken Fury, and
- 5:59Speaker 4: there's the bunch of them Space Adventure Hour through the
- 6:03Speaker 4: Lens of Time. My the personal favorite is four and
- 6:08Speaker 4: a half Vulcans. I think that's the one we've seen
- 6:11Speaker 4: in the past trailers.
- 6:13Speaker 2: Yeah, that one's either gonna be really good or really bad.
- 6:16Speaker 4: Yeah, it's there'll be doing between with that one. Really
- 6:20Speaker 4: be an amazing or terrible. They also released a new trailer.
- 6:28Speaker 4: I'd sent you that link. I put it in our
- 6:29Speaker 4: in our group as well.
- 6:31Speaker 2: Yeah, I just watched it.
- 6:32Speaker 4: Yeah, I g and live. I guess had a thing
- 6:35Speaker 4: last night. And so they released a new trailer. It
- 6:39Speaker 4: was fine. It was a fine trailer. I feel like
- 6:41Speaker 4: they're all starting of blood together, you know a.
- 6:44Speaker 2: Little bit, a little bit. It seems like the the
- 6:48Speaker 2: the Hedge of Me, what are those? That's the Gorn.
- 6:52Speaker 2: It seems like the Gorn is the new oh, the
- 6:59Speaker 2: bad guys from Enterprise the z. It seems like the
- 7:03Speaker 2: Gorn is the new Cindy.
- 7:04Speaker 4: So yeah, it really clearly pick out like this is
- 7:10Speaker 4: going to be our main bad guy for the seat
- 7:12Speaker 4: for the series right from it was the Borg for
- 7:16Speaker 4: for these guys, it's Gord, you know.
- 7:20Speaker 2: So he faced nine was you know, the Dominion right right, yeah,
- 7:25Speaker 2: you know Voyager was lack of coffee.
- 7:28Speaker 4: That's right.
- 7:29Speaker 2: Yeah, uh.
- 7:32Speaker 4: Yeah, it is what it is, all right. So yeah,
- 7:35Speaker 4: so that's that new story. Yeah, and then we also
- 7:40Speaker 4: have got they pulled us up here. This is coming
- 7:45Speaker 4: to us from uh rectormag dot com. You know that
- 7:51Speaker 4: that old chestnut. Oh yeah, yeah. So there's a new
- 7:55Speaker 4: mass effects TV show in the works, and they have
- 7:59Speaker 4: snagged a star trek writer. The writer of Star Trek
- 8:03Speaker 4: Beyond as their showrunner, Doug Young. So, I don't did
- 8:08Speaker 4: you ever play Mass Effect?
- 8:10Speaker 2: No? I didn't, me either. I'm not a big gamer.
- 8:13Speaker 2: I mean, I've played some of the the older games,
- 8:15Speaker 2: but not not a lot.
- 8:17Speaker 4: Yeah, I'm I'm not a big gamer myself either, But
- 8:24Speaker 4: I understand Mass Effects is very popular, and so it
- 8:28Speaker 4: stands for reason you would bring in a Star Trek guy.
- 8:31Speaker 2: To do that. So the writer Young, I don't. I
- 8:36Speaker 2: don't recognize the name, but I also don't all the
- 8:39Speaker 2: new writers and stuff.
- 8:42Speaker 4: Yeah, me either. But but he wrote for Startrik Beyond.
- 8:45Speaker 4: He also wrote on the Cloverfield Paradox.
- 8:48Speaker 2: So there you go.
- 8:51Speaker 4: If you're excited, you yeah.
- 8:54Speaker 2: So, and if you're a mass Effect man, that's right.
- 9:00Speaker 4: And then our last new story. Let me pull this
- 9:02Speaker 4: up because this one is interesting and I think it
- 9:05Speaker 4: bears a longer episode in the future. All right, but yeah,
- 9:10Speaker 4: this is from Cosmicbook, dot net or dot news sky
- 9:16Speaker 4: Dance exploring the end of Star Trek No talks with
- 9:20Speaker 4: Kurtzman Rubert. So, as we know, Star Trek is going
- 9:25Speaker 4: to be bought out or Paramount is yep by sky
- 9:29Speaker 4: Dance Media and allegedly there have been no talks to
- 9:34Speaker 4: re up Alex Kurtzman's contract that he is. They're just
- 9:41Speaker 4: kind of putting everything on old for now till the
- 9:44Speaker 4: bye and then the plant is allegedly to let Star
- 9:49Speaker 4: Trek rest for a while.
- 9:52Speaker 2: Yeah, and guess what, I agree the age of Kurtzman
- 9:59Speaker 2: Shoul would be let to die. Yeah, and and we should,
- 10:05Speaker 2: uh the age of who's who's the new who's the
- 10:08Speaker 2: picard show runner that we all like? Oh, Terry Metallas Yeah, Uh,
- 10:13Speaker 2: let let Terry Metallis and Jonathan Franks and uh, you know,
- 10:19Speaker 2: all all the up and coming producers of the of
- 10:22Speaker 2: the newer show. Strangely worlds, let them rise up and
- 10:25Speaker 2: and and take the mantle. I'm so sick of Kurtzman.
- 10:29Speaker 2: I I He's done some good things, but you know,
- 10:35Speaker 2: I just I'm done with him. I'm I'm done with him.
- 10:38Speaker 2: He's He's the Joss Whedon of Star Trek. You know,
- 10:41Speaker 2: started out good, did some really really great things, but
- 10:45Speaker 2: lately everything he's I just I'm done. You know, Discovery
- 10:49Speaker 2: was a disaster. You know, whether you whether you like
- 10:51Speaker 2: Discovery or not, it's in my opinion and a lot
- 10:54Speaker 2: of fans opinions, it was a disaster. Uh, let's move on.
- 10:58Speaker 2: Let Terry Metallis, Jonathan Franks people that takeover, and that's
- 11:01Speaker 2: what the fans want, that's what they're Those two that
- 11:04Speaker 2: I just mentioned are really good at it. The fans
- 11:07Speaker 2: love them. Let them take over, right, right, I I
- 11:11Speaker 2: agree with you. I think other than that, I have
- 11:13Speaker 2: need zero opinions about it.
- 11:15Speaker 4: Yeah, he needs to be stopped.
- 11:17Speaker 2: He needs to be so that'll be. Is he not great?
- 11:21Speaker 2: He's now a villain, that's right, is a Star Trek villain.
- 11:25Speaker 4: He needs to be stopped at any right. Okay, but yeah,
- 11:31Speaker 4: So they have not talked about renewing Kurtsman deal, which
- 11:35Speaker 4: is interesting. You think we would learn about that if
- 11:37Speaker 4: they were interested in right, Yeah, yeah, but this is
- 11:44Speaker 4: just a rumor. We don't know for sure.
- 11:47Speaker 2: Right.
- 11:48Speaker 4: Plus, the the the buyout needs to go through, and
- 11:51Speaker 4: that's still under a bunch of different lawsuits and pending
- 11:55Speaker 4: the litigation. So oh come on, yeah, yeah, yeah, because
- 12:02Speaker 4: they're they have to clear out their lawsuit with Trump.
- 12:06Speaker 4: Then they got to clear out another lawsuit between sky
- 12:10Speaker 4: Dance and this other company who says they want to
- 12:13Speaker 4: buy Paramount, and so the sky Dance is saying, hey,
- 12:17Speaker 4: you guys don't even have the money to do this.
- 12:19Speaker 4: This is just annoying. You're not even a serious contender.
- 12:23Speaker 2: I'm sure this will all work out smoothly. I mean,
- 12:25Speaker 2: it's just what got lawsuits involved with Donald Trump and
- 12:28Speaker 2: is uh you know Paramount sky Dance that none of this,
- 12:32Speaker 2: none of this smells like it's going to be anything dramatic. No,
- 12:36Speaker 2: everything will be just fine.
- 12:37Speaker 4: Yeah, you're right, you're right. Uh, Kurtsman will come in
- 12:41Speaker 4: and save the day and keep this man in charge.
- 12:47Speaker 2: Yep. All they gotta do is fire Battalis and you know,
- 12:50Speaker 2: somebody needs to kill job of the freaks. That star
- 12:53Speaker 2: Trek will live on.
- 12:55Speaker 4: So the king is dead, long lived the king.
- 12:57Speaker 2: That's right, Yeah, that's right.
- 13:00Speaker 4: Yeah, Okay, well let's see Kevin strike. He says, for sure,
- 13:08Speaker 4: they need to move on to other things. Sometimes wishing
- 13:11Speaker 4: for change can be double legis sword. But in this case,
- 13:14Speaker 4: it can't get any worse. You know, I was thinking,
- 13:16Speaker 4: like who I would replace with metalent or with Chrisman
- 13:21Speaker 4: if you can't get metallism. I kind of think Tony
- 13:25Speaker 4: Gilroy is a good call.
- 13:26Speaker 2: The guy from and Or oh yeah, yeah, Okay.
- 13:30Speaker 4: The thing I love about him is he does not
- 13:33Speaker 4: give a shit about the fans. If you, if you
- 13:38Speaker 4: watch his interviews would start for Star Wars. He's just like,
- 13:42Speaker 4: I don't care about any of this stuff. Man, I'm.
- 13:45Speaker 2: Right. Yeah, Well it was evident in and Or season two.
- 13:50Speaker 2: I mean there was zero Jedi, zero Lightsabers, zero legacy characters,
- 13:56Speaker 2: but it was good. I just finished and Or season
- 14:01Speaker 2: two and then I immediately watched Rogue one. Yeah, my
- 14:08Speaker 2: opinion has not changed much about the entire Okay, and
- 14:13Speaker 2: or Brogue one. I didn't not like it. There were
- 14:16Speaker 2: some great parts, uh to Rogue one that I really liked.
- 14:20Speaker 2: Alent Tudic as as as the droid was. Well, is
- 14:25Speaker 2: what alent Tutic is whenever he's in anything, absolutely brilliant.
- 14:30Speaker 2: I mean he's great. He needs to be in Star Trek,
- 14:34Speaker 2: he needs he needs to play some some kind of
- 14:36Speaker 2: artificial holographic.
- 14:38Speaker 4: I wouldn't be surprised if he's already been just like in.
- 14:42Speaker 2: A voice or a background something. Yeah yeah, uh, that
- 14:47Speaker 2: guy has got talent for days. So you know he's
- 14:51Speaker 2: My wife is watching a Resident Alien and I I
- 14:56Speaker 2: haven't seen it. I've seen little bits and pieces of walking,
- 14:58Speaker 2: you know, like in past. I plan on starting I
- 15:02Speaker 2: plan on watching it too. And you know, my good
- 15:04Speaker 2: buddy Robbie O'Neil Robert Tuncan McNeil is a producer on
- 15:09Speaker 2: the show. Yeah, that's why I call him. Robbie.
- 15:13Speaker 4: Is there with you, right, isn't he?
- 15:15Speaker 2: Well, yeah, he's he's in the next We've got duel
- 15:19Speaker 2: right next door hotel room. Yeah, he's he's busy talking
- 15:22Speaker 2: to the producers of Resident Alien. But yeah, pretty soon,
- 15:25Speaker 2: pretty soon, we'll we'll do the the other podcast he's on.
- 15:28Speaker 2: We're going to do uh yeah, the not the the
- 15:32Speaker 2: Delta Flyers. I've I've written them and asked if either
- 15:41Speaker 2: a uh one of us could be on their show
- 15:44Speaker 2: or one of them could be at our show. So
- 15:46Speaker 2: I'm waiting back. I'm waiting on that to get back
- 15:49Speaker 2: to me.
- 15:51Speaker 4: Oh, Kevin's Ricky. Since it's all in the family at Paramount,
- 15:54Speaker 4: then she'll let Taylor Sheridan write for Trick and see what.
- 15:59Speaker 2: That be its own that could be its own Trek
- 16:02Speaker 2: Cash show. What would a Taylor Sheridan star Trek show
- 16:05Speaker 2: look like?
- 16:08Speaker 4: I would I would get.
- 16:12Speaker 2: Ye as Yellowstone and it would just be like old
- 16:19Speaker 2: school shots of like old Trek episodes, like all the
- 16:23Speaker 2: like all the worst, downtrodden, like sad parts of every
- 16:27Speaker 2: Trek episode, just.
- 16:29Speaker 4: Angry as Kevin Costner. You're right, jazz was alcohol and boobs.
- 16:36Speaker 4: I mean it's not bad. That's a great combo.
- 16:40Speaker 2: We're not gonna let the Klingons have one parsec Federation space.
- 16:45Speaker 4: God damn it, shoot them all, just do just the
- 16:49Speaker 4: captain walking around the halls of the shotgun for no reason.
- 16:54Speaker 4: A boy o boy.
- 16:56Speaker 2: Okay, that'd be good.
- 16:58Speaker 4: It'd be good. But yeah, so the end, the end
- 17:01Speaker 4: of Kurtsman may be near. Who knows, we'll see that the.
- 17:04Speaker 2: Rumors, yeah, rumors, Yeah, it is what it is.
- 17:09Speaker 4: All right, Well, let's get into our main topic as
- 17:15Speaker 4: we plan and come up with our ideal star Trek
- 17:19Speaker 4: amusement park. Yes, there's no rules to this.
- 17:21Speaker 2: It's just no fun, no rules, no does Yeah, here
- 17:25Speaker 2: we go fun.
- 17:26Speaker 3: Will now comment.
- 17:33Speaker 4: And I've got now I figured out how to do this. Uh,
- 17:36Speaker 4: the chat can always be up, so as you guys
- 17:38Speaker 4: make comments, your stuff will come up and I don't
- 17:42Speaker 4: have to. Yeah, so you guys can come and away
- 17:47Speaker 4: as we talk about stuff. So this idea came to
- 17:50Speaker 4: us from from Darren Benjamin, former Trek Cast host. He
- 17:55Speaker 4: went to the UH film Fast Nights over in Universal
- 17:59Speaker 4: Studios and I was like, hey, man, can you shoot
- 18:02Speaker 4: a video for us?
- 18:03Speaker 3: He did?
- 18:04Speaker 2: It was great.
- 18:05Speaker 4: I'll get that out. He did shoot a longer video.
- 18:08Speaker 4: I will post that up later. But he did come
- 18:13Speaker 4: up with the show idea of what would you do
- 18:15Speaker 4: for a Star Trek amusement park. So jess is you
- 18:20Speaker 4: should have him on the show. Yes, he has an opened.
- 18:23Speaker 4: He knows this. Yes, we record very early for West
- 18:27Speaker 4: Coast time.
- 18:28Speaker 2: That's true. Yeah, that's true.
- 18:30Speaker 4: That's part of the problem.
- 18:31Speaker 2: So yeah, Eddy Eddy former trek Cast hosts, has an
- 18:36Speaker 2: opened in obviously except for sure there's one except one
- 18:39Speaker 2: exception the basement. Yeah, Chad is never allowed to host
- 18:44Speaker 2: the show again.
- 18:46Speaker 4: All right, Well, before we get into our plans, you
- 18:51Speaker 4: may not be aware, some of you people out there,
- 18:54Speaker 4: there's already a Star Trek roller coaster on the planet
- 18:58Speaker 4: Earth right now. It's in Germany. So I found a
- 19:04Speaker 4: YouTube video. I will wak the video in in our
- 19:08Speaker 4: in our in our show notes. But let's this will
- 19:11Speaker 4: give us a POV of what the ride is like
- 19:16Speaker 4: what to expect. As you can see you walking to
- 19:19Speaker 4: Starfleet Academy. There's all sorts of props and pieces from
- 19:24Speaker 4: Star Trek, even getting on the Enterprise d Bridge, which
- 19:28Speaker 4: is pretty cool. I mean it looks neat. It looks
- 19:30Speaker 4: like a cool ride, you know, go to Germany. Yeah,
- 19:34Speaker 4: it's called Start Nice and there's the roller coaster. So
- 19:40Speaker 4: if you're watching, and then we're gonna get a POV
- 19:43Speaker 4: of actually writing it. So here we go. It's kind
- 19:48Speaker 4: of funny, how like it all looks like Star Trek, right, Like,
- 19:52Speaker 4: it looks great until the shuttle bay door opens and
- 19:59Speaker 4: I oh yeah, wait till the shuttle bay door opens.
- 20:03Speaker 4: It's great. So now we're moving.
- 20:09Speaker 2: So we're in, like it looks like a shuttle bay
- 20:11Speaker 2: and now it looks like a shuttle bay door.
- 20:13Speaker 4: And now we're gonna go outside.
- 20:15Speaker 2: And now it's just outside.
- 20:16Speaker 4: Now it's just outside.
- 20:18Speaker 2: It's just like an amusement park. It's like six Flags.
- 20:21Speaker 4: Yep, it's just a roller coaster.
- 20:23Speaker 2: It's like a regular roller coaster, trees in the background.
- 20:27Speaker 2: I mean it looks like a cool Look at that
- 20:30Speaker 2: it goes forward and then goes backwards.
- 20:32Speaker 4: Yeah, it's building up speed, you know, like you have
- 20:34Speaker 4: to do to get to warp speed.
- 20:36Speaker 2: Ah, So it's it's building up speed by going back
- 20:39Speaker 2: and for that's how build up speed. That's kind of unique.
- 20:44Speaker 4: Jazz. Vis it's a new Smathe Mountain.
- 20:46Speaker 2: It is not.
- 20:47Speaker 4: No, it looks crazy.
- 20:49Speaker 2: Base Mountain would have made more sense.
- 20:51Speaker 4: But this is lots upside down, the loops and the
- 20:54Speaker 4: loops going over the roof of the building into a deal.
- 21:00Speaker 2: It looks like a fairly intense roller coaster.
- 21:04Speaker 4: Jazz that should be called the Riker.
- 21:06Speaker 2: Why well, yeah, definitely, uh yeah, but you're gonna post this, Yeah,
- 21:14Speaker 2: everybody should, uh should check this out. It looks interesting.
- 21:18Speaker 4: That's the ride, that's the whole thing.
- 21:20Speaker 2: Okay, I mean yeah, I guess if you're into roller coasters,
- 21:25Speaker 2: the beginning of it had sort of Star Trek experienced vibes,
- 21:30Speaker 2: you know. But so it's either a motion ride for
- 21:34Speaker 2: like the experience, or it's a roller coaster. I think
- 21:36Speaker 2: I'd rather have the motion, right, But yeah, I.
- 21:40Speaker 4: Would prefer like yeah, like a almost like a what
- 21:43Speaker 4: is that flight of the resistance like like that. But
- 21:48Speaker 4: I mean, if this is all we got, this is
- 21:49Speaker 4: all we got I don't think it's worth the plane
- 21:51Speaker 4: to get to Germany.
- 21:53Speaker 2: Well, I hope it's still see. I hope it's still there.
- 21:56Speaker 2: And we're we're playing a Europe trip in about four years.
- 22:00Speaker 2: I want to visit I want to visit France. I
- 22:02Speaker 2: want to go to Normandy.
- 22:03Speaker 4: Nice.
- 22:04Speaker 2: You know, my wife has a family in Austria and that. Okay, okay,
- 22:11Speaker 2: so maybe we'll make a trip if I mean, if
- 22:13Speaker 2: we go to if we go, if we're already in Europe,
- 22:15Speaker 2: might as well. Yeah then you know in Germany might
- 22:18Speaker 2: be on one of the stops anyway, so maybe we'll
- 22:21Speaker 2: check that out.
- 22:22Speaker 4: Yeah, that'll be cool. So so the plan is we're
- 22:27Speaker 4: gonna come up with what we would do. I've got
- 22:29Speaker 4: an AI program so we can type in our prompts
- 22:33Speaker 4: and get at least some visuals as to what we
- 22:36Speaker 4: would be doing. So let's let's think about first coming
- 22:44Speaker 4: to the park, right, yeah, okay, what kind of entrance
- 22:49Speaker 4: do you want for this park? What do you want
- 22:52Speaker 4: to see when you walk in?
- 22:54Speaker 2: We have? Okay, So it's a Star Trek themed park.
- 22:57Speaker 2: There's one organization that it that we think of when
- 23:01Speaker 2: we think of Star Trek. One of two organizations. We
- 23:04Speaker 2: think of the Federation and we think of Starfleet. I
- 23:07Speaker 2: think most people think of Starfleet when they think of
- 23:09Speaker 2: star Trek. So I think it should be a Starfleet
- 23:13Speaker 2: themed like entrance with the Starfleet emblem and maybe a
- 23:18Speaker 2: giant a giant delta where you walk underneath the delta. Okay, okay,
- 23:26Speaker 2: So a giant Starfleet insignia that you walk underneath or
- 23:29Speaker 2: that you walk through.
- 23:31Speaker 4: Maybe maybe this is an opportunity to explain what is
- 23:35Speaker 4: the difference between Starfleet and the Federation.
- 23:40Speaker 2: So it's the difference is between like the difference between
- 23:43Speaker 2: the military and the Army and the United States. The
- 23:47Speaker 2: Federation is a group of planets. As of twenty four
- 23:52Speaker 2: oh one, there's about one hundred and fifty of these
- 23:53Speaker 2: planets that form a federation, which is a just a
- 23:58Speaker 2: co op of planets. Starfleet is the exploratory and defense
- 24:03Speaker 2: force of this federation. Mm hmm does that? Did I
- 24:07Speaker 2: explain that? Okay?
- 24:09Speaker 4: So this is what a I come up with when
- 24:12Speaker 4: I typed in, uh, Starfleet entrance for theme park with
- 24:16Speaker 4: giant delta.
- 24:17Speaker 2: This is what it gave me. As you can see, uh,
- 24:22Speaker 2: that looks not that that looks out of this world.
- 24:25Speaker 4: Yeah, it looks like kind of like this one with
- 24:28Speaker 4: the archway.
- 24:30Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean that's it. I like it. Yeah, it
- 24:34Speaker 2: all looks great. It's got some Starfleet cross like mixed
- 24:38Speaker 2: with like curissant vibes. Yeah.
- 24:41Speaker 4: I like the little uh little Debon horns on the archway.
- 24:44Speaker 2: I guess right. Well, the way it's got those curves
- 24:47Speaker 2: reminds me of the inside of a board ship. Mm hmm.
- 24:51Speaker 4: Yeah, I could see that absolutely. This one is weird,
- 24:55Speaker 4: like are we going out into a planet?
- 24:57Speaker 2: Yeah, there's a giant dome on top of everything. Kirby,
- 25:01Speaker 2: I don't think I don't think AI knows exactly what
- 25:06Speaker 2: stars leader Star Trek is.
- 25:08Speaker 4: No, I don't think it does that. That's that's what's
- 25:10Speaker 4: going to make it more fun. You get terrible visuals.
- 25:14Speaker 4: Oh all right, so I agree with you. What do
- 25:18Speaker 4: you some sort of like you've come to Star Trek
- 25:21Speaker 4: amusement park, right, What kind of mascots do we have
- 25:25Speaker 4: greeting you?
- 25:27Speaker 2: Oh? It's gonna be all the aliens, like every of
- 25:30Speaker 2: the aliens, like all of the every alien right, Okay,
- 25:35Speaker 2: so I want to see oh, I want to see uh,
- 25:38Speaker 2: and they can be specific aliens or not so specific aliens.
- 25:42Speaker 2: So we can have for Angi, or we can have Quark.
- 25:45Speaker 2: You know, Quark is a very has a very specific look.
- 25:47Speaker 2: But I want to see all the crazy aliens. And
- 25:50Speaker 2: if I'm a theme park, you know, visuals are important
- 25:54Speaker 2: to me, and that's why I go to theme parks.
- 25:56Speaker 2: When you go to a like a Universal Studios or
- 26:00Speaker 2: or or or Disney World, it's the attention to detail,
- 26:05Speaker 2: you know. So I want to see I want to
- 26:06Speaker 2: see fringy walking around. It kind of looked like they're
- 26:09Speaker 2: walking around for no good reason. They're just not there
- 26:11Speaker 2: to chill, you know. They could be like the janitors,
- 26:14Speaker 2: the guys that are picking up trash. But it should
- 26:17Speaker 2: all be vulcans, it should all be andrians, it should
- 26:19Speaker 2: all be full, full on board, you know, just kind
- 26:22Speaker 2: of walking around like that. That's what I want to see.
- 26:26Speaker 2: That's what I want to see. Trash carts in the
- 26:28Speaker 2: shape of a shadow craft.
- 26:30Speaker 4: Yeah, there you go, there you go. I typed in aliens, greeds,
- 26:36Speaker 4: the park visitors, and this is what he gave me.
- 26:39Speaker 2: Yeah, it's got your stereotypical uh sort of like you know,
- 26:43Speaker 2: we come in peace type of aliens with the big
- 26:46Speaker 2: bug eyes. Right, so far this looks terrifying.
- 26:52Speaker 4: Oh I'm all set to go. Let's go, baby, go terrified.
- 26:57Speaker 2: They look like they're ready to greet us for a
- 26:58Speaker 2: nice day at the park. They're ready to uh put
- 27:02Speaker 2: us on a skewer and eat us for brunch.
- 27:04Speaker 4: They look like it's probe time.
- 27:06Speaker 2: It's that's that's that's the things new new catchphrase from
- 27:14Speaker 2: the New Fantasy. It's no.
- 27:20Speaker 4: Oh no oh, that mean that may be my new
- 27:25Speaker 4: uh my new tinderline. It's probe time, ladies. It's hopefully
- 27:34Speaker 4: that works.
- 27:36Speaker 2: Okay, do you think that will work?
- 27:39Speaker 4: It's prob time.
- 27:42Speaker 2: Tell us everybody in the in the chat, what do
- 27:44Speaker 2: you what do you think? It's probate time for Daniel's
- 27:47Speaker 2: uh prob.
- 27:49Speaker 4: Yeah that works? Oh all right, all right, so we
- 27:56Speaker 4: got I want.
- 27:56Speaker 2: To see what it comes up with with clingon food truck.
- 28:00Speaker 4: Okay, let's try that, because yeah, you need food, right.
- 28:03Speaker 2: I want to see a bunch of you know, a
- 28:06Speaker 2: vulcan place where you can get plow meek soup and
- 28:08Speaker 2: a clingon place where you can get.
- 28:11Speaker 4: I would want to wreck the gino something caffeinated. Sure,
- 28:15Speaker 4: sure you know, yeah, it's just a food truck yep, yeah,
- 28:21Speaker 4: I mean there's kind of cling on lettering on there.
- 28:25Speaker 2: Or klingon food kiosk or maybe a klingon restaurant. Oh
- 28:30Speaker 2: there you go. That would you know, like how they
- 28:33Speaker 2: have some of the carts set up. I was just
- 28:34Speaker 2: at an amusement park yesterday. They got carts set up,
- 28:37Speaker 2: you know, yeah, where you can just grab a whatever,
- 28:39Speaker 2: quick little bite. And they've also got inside sit down
- 28:42Speaker 2: restaurants right right right. They should definitely have. This park
- 28:46Speaker 2: needs to definitely have a full on klingon restaurant.
- 28:51Speaker 4: Let's try, well, I got it, click on a restaurant.
- 28:55Speaker 4: So it's just showed a restaurant. How about uh alien food.
- 29:03Speaker 2: Let's see.
- 29:05Speaker 4: Court.
- 29:07Speaker 2: Oh there you go. Yeah, I'd like to see it.
- 29:10Speaker 4: See when it comes up over that jazz missus ladies
- 29:14Speaker 4: love that line.
- 29:15Speaker 2: You know, it's probe and time, it's time.
- 29:21Speaker 4: Oh it's like a buffet.
- 29:22Speaker 2: Yeah, okay, all right, okay, I can dig that. Yeah.
- 29:28Speaker 2: I would also like to see a theme would be
- 29:32Speaker 2: like the Cadets food court. You know, it would be
- 29:35Speaker 2: like a like a replomat type place where it looks like,
- 29:39Speaker 2: you know, maybe the Academy kids would go to to
- 29:42Speaker 2: have lunch, you know, like in college. My my son's
- 29:45Speaker 2: in college. There's a place at the on campus where
- 29:48Speaker 2: you can go and that's like the place to eat,
- 29:51Speaker 2: you know us the cafeteria, the cafeteria. That's where I'm
- 29:56Speaker 2: looking for, like a like a Starfleet cafeteria. That could
- 29:58Speaker 2: be one.
- 29:59Speaker 4: I think you can make that your your buffet the
- 30:02Speaker 4: street cafeteria because it is like you get your tray,
- 30:06Speaker 4: you go get your food, right, you know.
- 30:10Speaker 2: And you could have you know, servers and stuff walking
- 30:13Speaker 2: around in like cadet uniforms and you know everything's got
- 30:16Speaker 2: Starfleet insignia's on and all the trays.
- 30:19Speaker 4: Oh you know what you need hold on alien our caide.
- 30:26Speaker 4: So I'm thinking is you know Quark's got his gambling right,
- 30:31Speaker 4: Oh yeah, a cork arcade. But it's like, you know,
- 30:36Speaker 4: kids get their tickets and then they can go get
- 30:38Speaker 4: their spider necklace or whatever, parachute guy, you know whatever.
- 30:43Speaker 2: It is, so right, so we could have like Dabo tables.
- 30:47Speaker 4: Yeah, but like you know for kids to get the
- 30:50Speaker 4: got it, got it?
- 30:51Speaker 2: Yeah, got it? Yeah, we could do a little Starfleet
- 30:54Speaker 2: theme and yeah yeah right right, but we should also
- 30:59Speaker 2: have you know you go into like a bar, there's
- 31:01Speaker 2: games and stuff. We should have like a like a bar,
- 31:03Speaker 2: not you know, it's a theme parks, family theme parks,
- 31:06Speaker 2: not like a gambling table, but same thing with tickets
- 31:08Speaker 2: and stuff like that. You can have uh you know,
- 31:11Speaker 2: you could have dom Jot that'd be fun, like yeah,
- 31:18Speaker 2: and uh Dabu wheels and uh you know any other
- 31:22Speaker 2: like you know, sit down games you can play. They
- 31:24Speaker 2: have like a whole row of tables that have like
- 31:26Speaker 2: caltoe and Cotta Scott and three D chests obviously.
- 31:30Speaker 4: Right right right, Yeah, that would be awesome. I think
- 31:34Speaker 4: you can definitely do those things.
- 31:36Speaker 2: That'd be fun. That'd be fun, Okay, Yeah, lots of food,
- 31:40Speaker 2: lots of sit down games.
- 31:41Speaker 4: Yeah, do we need I don't know, like a carnival games.
- 31:50Speaker 2: So they would be traditional carnival games themed in Star Trek.
- 31:56Speaker 4: Yeah, like knock down the Frengi or right right, and.
- 32:02Speaker 2: You know try try to hit borg balloons with darts
- 32:05Speaker 2: or something trivia with with vulcans. Oh yeah, that'd be fun.
- 32:11Speaker 2: When I was on the cruise ship last year, there
- 32:12Speaker 2: was a lot of trivia theme nights, a lot of
- 32:14Speaker 2: you know, you go sit around the bar, and there's
- 32:16Speaker 2: like thirty or forty people that you know write down
- 32:19Speaker 2: their trivia and stuff like that. So yeah, little activities,
- 32:22Speaker 2: a little planned activities like that would be fun. Fun.
- 32:25Speaker 4: I attended an alien carnival and this terrifying imature has
- 32:29Speaker 4: popped up.
- 32:30Speaker 2: Yeah, okay, so there's this. It's kind of like your
- 32:33Speaker 2: typical becoming piece alien, only he's got these like sharp
- 32:36Speaker 2: gill looking things on the side of his head and
- 32:39Speaker 2: and he looks he looks very proby.
- 32:41Speaker 4: Yeah, it's probe and time.
- 32:47Speaker 2: Yeah, that's gotta be phrase.
- 32:50Speaker 4: It will be absolutely.
- 32:53Speaker 2: But yeah, yeah, you guys generating some carnival looking spacey things.
- 32:58Speaker 2: You know, lots of colors, lots of you know, the
- 33:01Speaker 2: dome tents and and things like a lot of psychedelic colors,
- 33:05Speaker 2: a lot of psychedelic colors. Yeah, well you know when
- 33:09Speaker 2: when when it is actually probe and time, you know,
- 33:13Speaker 2: they probably inject you with a lot of drugs that
- 33:15Speaker 2: produce images like this in your brains. Yeah, it's a
- 33:23Speaker 2: proposes drug's right, God, that'll be your secondary, Like I
- 33:32Speaker 2: got a drug that kid assist that.
- 33:34Speaker 4: Oh no, no, no, okay, what about what about shows?
- 33:43Speaker 4: You know, you go to a music park, take a rest,
- 33:46Speaker 4: you go to a show.
- 33:48Speaker 2: Show or uh you show you could have like, oh,
- 33:54Speaker 2: I got an idea. You could have a guy dressed
- 33:56Speaker 2: like Data doing jokes badly. Oh yeah, you know, like
- 34:01Speaker 2: that one scene with the Joe that that comedian that
- 34:05Speaker 2: he did in like season one. Yeah you know, yeah,
- 34:12Speaker 2: I just started cling on stunt show.
- 34:14Speaker 4: So let's see what he comes up with.
- 34:17Speaker 2: I went to the doctor. The doctor says, you need
- 34:18Speaker 2: an operation, I said, doctor, I said, I'm going to
- 34:20Speaker 2: get a second opinion. I want a second opinion. Doctor says, okay,
- 34:23Speaker 2: you're ugly to.
- 34:29Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 34:29Speaker 2: Yeah, so typical shows that with a Star Trek theme,
- 34:34Speaker 2: like a magic show, a dancing show. Ooh, music you
- 34:40Speaker 2: could have like the music of Star Trek or music
- 34:43Speaker 2: by Star Trek like people.
- 34:46Speaker 4: Oh yeah, you could have like a little uh little
- 34:49Speaker 4: like concert.
- 34:50Speaker 2: Yeah, you could have like two back in the Harry Kims,
- 34:54Speaker 2: yeah you know, or or the Riker Maneuvers.
- 35:00Speaker 4: Know it's a completely different show after Hours, that's a
- 35:04Speaker 4: completely different show.
- 35:07Speaker 2: Yeah, absolutely, well the Mark Twain show, okay, yeah from
- 35:14Speaker 2: like well think lower Decks, yeah, the Twin Off. Well, yeah,
- 35:20Speaker 2: you could have people come in and put on the
- 35:23Speaker 2: Mark Twain regalia, you know, and take pictures. I mean
- 35:27Speaker 2: there's photo ops. So you come in.
- 35:30Speaker 4: Just thinking about this, huh, a people's court style show
- 35:37Speaker 4: with Judge Mark Twain.
- 35:39Speaker 2: Oh, there you go, yep, there you go. There you go.
- 35:45Speaker 2: Photo ops. There could be tons and tons of photo ops.
- 35:48Speaker 2: You could have any kind of imaginable background props, so
- 35:51Speaker 2: you could go in and you know, there'd just be
- 35:54Speaker 2: a wall of props you could use. You know, there'd
- 35:56Speaker 2: be like real quick quick change, like you want to
- 35:59Speaker 2: be a Frangie. They got a real quick you know,
- 36:01Speaker 2: not like where you have to be done over by
- 36:02Speaker 2: Mucket Westmore, but like you just put on the Feringi
- 36:04Speaker 2: hat and you hold the Feringi whip and you say cheese,
- 36:08Speaker 2: you know, say latine, or or you put on a
- 36:10Speaker 2: few borg implants or or you hold the you hold
- 36:15Speaker 2: the horgon, you know, in a very suggestive way, and
- 36:20Speaker 2: you take photos and then the back can be you know,
- 36:22Speaker 2: behind you can be a blue screen, so you can
- 36:24Speaker 2: have it be anything you want. You know, twin sunsets
- 36:28Speaker 2: on riza uh you know.
- 36:32Speaker 4: Called let's get stabbed by nassigns. And it's a booth.
- 36:36Speaker 4: You walk into the booth and you get stabbed.
- 36:38Speaker 2: By you just get Yeah, that's it.
- 36:41Speaker 4: That's the whole thing.
- 36:43Speaker 2: I think I like it. I think I like it.
- 36:46Speaker 4: I think all your little U first aid stations need
- 36:49Speaker 4: to be called sick Bay.
- 36:51Speaker 2: Yep, yep. Absolutely. And every guy there is bald and
- 36:56Speaker 2: wearing a mobile emitter. Yes, or you just have people
- 37:00Speaker 2: dressed up as all the doctors. Yeah, yeah, yeah. So
- 37:05Speaker 2: you see women there wearing like red wigs and wearing
- 37:07Speaker 2: the blue uniforms. Mm hmm, yeah, I think that's yeah, Ida.
- 37:15Speaker 4: Curious what it comes up with a Starfleet uniform.
- 37:21Speaker 2: There. I've played around with AI a little bit, like
- 37:26Speaker 2: it always. Yeah, see, it just came up with a
- 37:28Speaker 2: space suit, like a generic space suit. This looks like
- 37:31Speaker 2: it came from like, you know, Master.
- 37:38Speaker 4: Everything in Anything.
- 37:41Speaker 2: Yeah, what's his name? Mass? Yeah, what's his name from
- 37:46Speaker 2: Halos master Chief? Yeah. It just looks like a generic
- 37:49Speaker 2: version of Master Cheap. So I don't think it knows
- 37:52Speaker 2: what star Trek is.
- 37:54Speaker 4: No, no, it does not.
- 37:58Speaker 2: So how about do you have any ideas for rides?
- 38:02Speaker 4: That's what I was gonna get too, rides. I think
- 38:06Speaker 4: you gotta do the wormhole.
- 38:09Speaker 2: Oh yeah, kind of like Space Mountain, like an indoor
- 38:14Speaker 2: would it be an indoor kind of thing, or or
- 38:19Speaker 2: there's gonna be lots of motion rides at this park.
- 38:21Speaker 4: Yeah, yeah, I think it's gotta be like Space Mountain
- 38:26Speaker 4: type something indoor something with things going on.
- 38:31Speaker 2: Yeah, call it through the wormhole. Yeah some Yeah, the
- 38:36Speaker 2: AI is generating images of roller coasters with you know,
- 38:40Speaker 2: kind of wormholes in the background.
- 38:42Speaker 4: That's close but which is Yeah. Yeah, it's better than
- 38:47Speaker 4: when it did for uniforms.
- 38:50Speaker 2: Exactly, exactly. Yeah. You could do it with with like
- 38:53Speaker 2: lasers and holographic whatever. You could make it look like
- 38:57Speaker 2: you're actually going through the Bajorn wormhole.
- 39:02Speaker 4: I mean visually, you could do a farther like mining
- 39:09Speaker 4: ride like escape your pente from Star Trek.
- 39:12Speaker 2: Six Escape for that's great. I love it.
- 39:17Speaker 4: It's like your matter horn. You know, you're snow based
- 39:20Speaker 4: like a mining cart because they were minding.
- 39:22Speaker 2: Okay, kind of kind of like from uh the Indiana
- 39:26Speaker 2: Jones and and Short Route Escape. Yeah. Yeah, yeah, that's great.
- 39:32Speaker 2: That's great. All the conductors are cling on. Yeah.
- 39:36Speaker 4: Okay, oh, I got a fun idea. Okay, so every
- 39:44Speaker 4: day at the park someone has picked for this and
- 39:48Speaker 4: all the guests have to find the assassin.
- 39:55Speaker 2: You're going around like cutting everybody's palms to make.
- 40:00Speaker 4: It's like a detective game, right. You get clues and
- 40:03Speaker 4: you're trying to figure it out, and if you find them,
- 40:06Speaker 4: you win a prize. I don't know, maybe like a
- 40:08Speaker 4: free getter or something like that.
- 40:10Speaker 2: Nice.
- 40:12Speaker 3: Uh.
- 40:13Speaker 2: I thought of either a themed restaurant or a gift shop.
- 40:16Speaker 2: Uh Dixon Hill guys. Yeah, and I'm thinking like I'll
- 40:22Speaker 2: uh star Trek first Contact. They had that that bar,
- 40:27Speaker 2: you know, and the singer, the loud singer and all that.
- 40:32Speaker 4: Game game there ride where everyone has that like, ah,
- 40:42Speaker 4: that crazy game that everyone was playing, the Alien game.
- 40:46Speaker 2: Oh from the episode the game. Yeah, yeah that will
- 40:51Speaker 2: it be addictive?
- 40:54Speaker 3: Is it is?
- 40:54Speaker 2: Gonna give you a dope?
- 40:55Speaker 4: Mean it way better.
- 41:00Speaker 2: I don't know how you would do that with twenty
- 41:01Speaker 2: first century technology, but I'm sure we get hoolograms.
- 41:06Speaker 4: Oh you know what we haven't said. And it's just
- 41:09Speaker 4: begging to be a ten Burg ride or a game.
- 41:13Speaker 4: Alan Moraine, Ok.
- 41:18Speaker 2: You want to bankrupt us in the first week, that's right?
- 41:20Speaker 2: Alan count two three? Ala Moraine, Yeah, Uh, I think
- 41:26Speaker 2: that's a horrible idea. That's almost as bad as the
- 41:31Speaker 2: one that I came up with before the show. There
- 41:33Speaker 2: should be a covert starburst ride where there's a four
- 41:37Speaker 2: and five chance that you'll survive. I like it.
- 41:42Speaker 4: No game says no for the Alan Moraine ride.
- 41:47Speaker 2: Yeah, that was from the Deep Space nine season one
- 41:51Speaker 2: episode move Along Home, widely regarded as the worst Star
- 41:56Speaker 2: Trek episode of Deep Face nine, possibly in all the franchise.
- 42:02Speaker 4: It's pretty bad.
- 42:03Speaker 2: It's up there with Spock's Brain, the one and the
- 42:08Speaker 2: one where Crusher uh has relations with the ghost.
- 42:13Speaker 4: I still think the one where chot is boxing is
- 42:17Speaker 4: like one of the worst episodes because nobody talks about it.
- 42:21Speaker 4: It's that bad.
- 42:21Speaker 2: Yeah. I haven't gotten to that. I haven't gotten to
- 42:23Speaker 2: that one of my rewatch. I just started season five
- 42:25Speaker 2: a voyager in my rewatch. Yeah, there's some good episodes
- 42:30Speaker 2: or some bad.
- 42:33Speaker 4: Trying to think of other rides, Uh, of course, there's
- 42:36Speaker 4: like a Borg Warden like Escape the Borg.
- 42:39Speaker 2: Yeah. Yeah, there's uh.
- 42:45Speaker 4: Something with the Klingons. Oh you can.
- 42:49Speaker 2: What? Oh no, go ahead, it's becuse say you could do.
- 42:53Speaker 4: Something like Pirates of the Caribbean, but the Klingons.
- 42:57Speaker 2: Oh yeah, okay, okay, Oh there can be like a
- 43:00Speaker 2: small world ride where it goes like all the Aliens
- 43:05Speaker 2: of the Federation, you know, I like that.
- 43:10Speaker 4: Yeah yeah, we're all just yep yep, yeah, oh yeah,
- 43:20Speaker 4: big old sailing ships.
- 43:22Speaker 2: If this is near, like there's a place near called
- 43:25Speaker 2: Cedar Point in Ohio, they're sort of messled up next
- 43:28Speaker 2: to a beach. We could have the Rise of Beach
- 43:34Speaker 2: and we could like Rise of Theme. We could have
- 43:36Speaker 2: people come, you know, walking around. We can have Horgans
- 43:38Speaker 2: all over the place, you know, people saying is there
- 43:41Speaker 2: anything I can get you? Would you do you seek Jamaharni.
- 43:47Speaker 2: It's probe time only not have it be an actual
- 43:49Speaker 2: illegal you know right place. This is a family park
- 43:54Speaker 2: after all. Or there can be a twenty one in
- 43:57Speaker 2: over area.
- 43:58Speaker 4: Yeah for adults.
- 44:00Speaker 2: What happens on the Rise of Beach days on the
- 44:02Speaker 2: Rise of Beach.
- 44:05Speaker 4: Little bungalows that you can rent by the.
- 44:06Speaker 2: Hour or called Jaba Road bungalow.
- 44:13Speaker 4: Yeah yeah, now with our quarter hour.
- 44:17Speaker 2: Without I just need it for fifteen minutes man, right right, Yeah,
- 44:24Speaker 2: it's a sperringy at the ticket booth.
- 44:26Speaker 4: Yeah yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 44:31Speaker 2: I think we need to have sets like throughout the park,
- 44:35Speaker 2: like bridge sets and and uh engineering sets like no,
- 44:42Speaker 2: I'm thinking there there's got to be like a large
- 44:44Speaker 2: area that you can go into, like visit the bridge
- 44:47Speaker 2: of Voyager, or visit the sick bay of you know,
- 44:51Speaker 2: the Enterprise.
- 44:53Speaker 4: Just those could be gift shops that have those things
- 44:57Speaker 4: in there.
- 44:58Speaker 2: Oh yeah, okay, good.
- 45:00Speaker 4: Like uh, you visit the Promenadue, you give shops.
- 45:05Speaker 2: You know, there should be a whole on replica of
- 45:08Speaker 2: the Promenadue, like an entire building where it's a replica.
- 45:10Speaker 2: I just have actual real shops where you know, and
- 45:14Speaker 2: and real kiosks, and.
- 45:16Speaker 4: You're not allowed to run in it.
- 45:18Speaker 2: No no running, nope, and the problem no no loitering, right,
- 45:23Speaker 2: no dangling none, dare. Yeah. And I also think it'd
- 45:29Speaker 2: be cool at places like this where you could have
- 45:32Speaker 2: actors recreate scenes. So you could have a scene where
- 45:36Speaker 2: no where Nog tells mar talk you need to move
- 45:40Speaker 2: along and you know, and they can just do that
- 45:43Speaker 2: scene every fifteen minutes, you know.
- 45:47Speaker 4: Yeah, yeah, that'd be cool, a little fun scene. You
- 45:52Speaker 4: can even do people who they're dressed like aliens in
- 45:55Speaker 4: the starfleet uniforms, doing like clips from Shakespeare's shows.
- 46:02Speaker 2: Oh there you go Yeah, yeah, I like that. I
- 46:05Speaker 2: like shows. Yeah, so yeah, recreations, little skits and and
- 46:11Speaker 2: things like that. You could yeah, like like in the
- 46:15Speaker 2: original Klingon, they could do the Shakespeare in the original
- 46:17Speaker 2: cling On.
- 46:18Speaker 4: Yeah, I'm I'm on the chat that people could accept
- 46:23Speaker 4: because you know, I think the listener of feedback is
- 46:26Speaker 4: right around the corner.
- 46:27Speaker 2: I think you're right. I think you're right. Yeah, I
- 46:29Speaker 2: think we should start that.
- 46:30Speaker 4: Yeah, anything else we want to add before we wrap
- 46:33Speaker 4: up this segment.
- 46:35Speaker 2: No, I think we got some great ideas going on.
- 46:38Speaker 2: I think it could make a lot. I honestly think
- 46:39Speaker 2: it can make a lot of money. It should. Where
- 46:43Speaker 2: would this park be located, assuming it's in the United States?
- 46:47Speaker 2: San Francisco, San Francisco, Okay, yeah, that's where it's gotta gon. Yep,
- 46:54Speaker 2: it's got the infrastructure to uh to do it.
- 46:56Speaker 4: Yeah, yeah, absolutely. All right, Well, then let's get to
- 47:03Speaker 4: listener feedback.
- 47:08Speaker 1: Listener feedback.
- 47:11Speaker 2: Can we remind everybody how they can participate in listener feedback?
- 47:15Speaker 4: Yeah, let's see it. Let me pull us up. Do
- 47:20Speaker 4: you want to go through it?
- 47:21Speaker 3: Well?
- 47:21Speaker 4: I pull it up.
- 47:23Speaker 2: Yeah. So one of the ways you can leave us
- 47:25Speaker 2: a voicemail you can call five seven zero six six

- 48:19Speaker 4: Yeah, absolutely, all right, we got Jazmin was on the line,
- 48:23Speaker 4: so let's bring him on there.
- 48:25Speaker 2: He is, good morning, what's good morning? What's up that much? So?
- 48:32Speaker 4: Yeah, what would you put in your startrik Amusement.
- 48:35Speaker 5: Park, Well, definitely gonna have the Riker maneuver for or something.
- 48:43Speaker 5: So you walk in, it's a giant rock riker trying
- 48:48Speaker 5: to sit on a chair. You walk under him and
- 48:53Speaker 5: it's under a big chair.
- 48:55Speaker 2: Oh, you can have a recer maneuver contest where you
- 48:57Speaker 2: have like higher hire and hire and hire chairbacks lightly
- 49:02Speaker 2: limbo stick right, yep, yep, NBA player coming there and
- 49:07Speaker 2: just beat everybody. Yeah, I like it. I like it.
- 49:13Speaker 2: Oh what do you what do you think of some
- 49:15Speaker 2: of our ideas.
- 49:17Speaker 5: I think it would have to be like part of
- 49:19Speaker 5: a Universal or Disney Oh probably real yeah, yeah, because
- 49:25Speaker 5: there's no way you can have it.
- 49:26Speaker 2: It'll be Disney. I'm sure Disney is eventually going to
- 49:28Speaker 2: buy sky Dance and everything else.
- 49:31Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 49:32Speaker 5: Well Disney doesn't have any money right now, they're.
- 49:36Speaker 2: Yeah yeah, they spent it all.
- 49:38Speaker 5: Yeah. Yeah, I spent six hundred and fifty million dollars
- 49:42Speaker 5: on and or so I kinda put them.
- 49:45Speaker 2: In the whole.
- 49:46Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 49:48Speaker 2: And oh, speaking of Disney products, I last weekend I
- 49:51Speaker 2: did see Thunderbolts I'm sorry, the New Avengers mm hmm.
- 49:57Speaker 2: And it was it was good. It was good. I
- 50:01Speaker 2: don't think it was as good as like some people
- 50:04Speaker 2: said it was the best. Uh, it was the best
- 50:08Speaker 2: MCU movie since Endgame, I can think of one or
- 50:11Speaker 2: two that were better, but you know, especially in the
- 50:15Speaker 2: Spider Man franchise.
- 50:16Speaker 5: Yeah, definitely spider It was good.
- 50:18Speaker 2: It was good. It was definitely better than some of
- 50:20Speaker 2: the ones that have come out recently.
- 50:21Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 50:23Speaker 5: I like Guardians thro a lot out of this phase.
- 50:28Speaker 2: Yeah, I like Guardians three was one of my favorites.
- 50:31Speaker 5: I said that was a good one, and then like
- 50:32Speaker 5: shang Chi, I thought that was a good one.
- 50:36Speaker 2: Underrated, under its very underrated.
- 50:39Speaker 5: All the others, you know, Eternals was the worst, Marvels
- 50:44Speaker 5: was subpar a Man.
- 50:46Speaker 2: I didn't mind Marvels. I thought Marvels was cute.
- 50:49Speaker 5: Ant Man was awful. That was the worst of the bunch.
- 50:54Speaker 2: It was a little discombobulated.
- 50:57Speaker 5: Yeah, I was like what am I watching?
- 50:59Speaker 2: And what is visually? And it was amazing.
- 51:02Speaker 4: Yeah it looked great, but it mad Yeah it was.
- 51:06Speaker 2: So it was the Star Trek Discovery yeah, yes, yeah,
- 51:13Speaker 2: But anyways, do you have any other thoughts for a
- 51:16Speaker 2: Star Trek theme park?
- 51:19Speaker 5: Do you have animals?
- 51:20Speaker 2: Oh? Oh, like a target, like like animatronics, yeah, tarks. Yeah,
- 51:27Speaker 2: and the animal that comes to mind is that little
- 51:33Speaker 2: chipmunk thing from Star Trek Insurrection that that little kid had.
- 51:37Speaker 4: Yeah, they have, they haven't some of the amusement parks
- 51:43Speaker 4: now where like you can go interact with the character
- 51:46Speaker 4: and talk to them, and they've got like like you
- 51:49Speaker 4: can go talk to Stitch and Stitches on a video
- 51:51Speaker 4: screen and he'll talk to you.
- 51:54Speaker 2: You know. Yeah, he's being controlled by somebody in like
- 51:57Speaker 2: the next room or ai.
- 51:58Speaker 4: Yeah, like you do something like that with like a dog,
- 52:02Speaker 4: like a talking dog or.
- 52:03Speaker 2: Sure, sure, you know. I'm also thinking about things that
- 52:08Speaker 2: have been described but we've never seen like uh in
- 52:12Speaker 2: in a d Phase nine episode, Wharf once described uh
- 52:16Speaker 2: uh defeating a some kind of beast twice his size,
- 52:21Speaker 2: but we don't I don't remember the name of the beast,
- 52:24Speaker 2: but we've never seen it in in Cannon. I think
- 52:27Speaker 2: it'd be cool to see like a statue of Wharf
- 52:29Speaker 2: like with a bat left and this like twelve foot tall,
- 52:32Speaker 2: you know, bear looking thing attacking.
- 52:34Speaker 5: What if it was a buoy barrel he fought? There,
- 52:38Speaker 5: you go, that's beast.
- 52:41Speaker 4: You could do the dolphins from from cetace Ops. That's
- 52:45Speaker 4: one of the things you interact.
- 52:46Speaker 2: With, yeah, yeah, yeah, And there can be a big
- 52:50Speaker 2: controversy about how the dolphins are treated. Yeaeah in captivity,
- 52:56Speaker 2: that'll we pro they'll we protest outside for for the dolphins.
- 52:59Speaker 5: Would they had to make like a Holo deck for
- 53:01Speaker 5: them to make it then swim farther?
- 53:05Speaker 4: Yeah?
- 53:05Speaker 2: Yes, what would be what would be easier cheaper? Like
- 53:10Speaker 2: if this was in the twenty fourth century, what would
- 53:11Speaker 2: be easier cheaper? A giant tank or a small holid deck?
- 53:16Speaker 5: Probably a holod deck because they could swim forever. Yeah, yeah,
- 53:20Speaker 5: you know, they wouldn't get bored in it. It be
- 53:23Speaker 5: just continuous.
- 53:23Speaker 2: How would you like to clean out those filters?
- 53:27Speaker 1: No, no.
- 53:33Speaker 2: Excrement?
- 53:35Speaker 4: You could do like to interact with you could like
- 53:37Speaker 4: interact with Moriarty.
- 53:40Speaker 5: Oh that'd be neat.
- 53:41Speaker 2: Yeah yeah, like you know, with today's technology, we could
- 53:45Speaker 2: do that.
- 53:46Speaker 4: Yeah, yeah, that would be fun.
- 53:50Speaker 5: If okay, if they did a Holo deck like theme
- 53:53Speaker 5: park like of the show, Like, okay, so you do
- 53:58Speaker 5: the theme park and then you have like one part
- 54:00Speaker 5: that's the holiday. What would the holiday be?
- 54:04Speaker 2: Open gym? Anything you wanted? Are you talking about?
- 54:08Speaker 5: Maybe they would do like a period piece or different things.
- 54:12Speaker 4: Yeah, for sure. One month would be like one month
- 54:15Speaker 4: would be Sherlock Hooves for sure.
- 54:18Speaker 2: Yeah, you know.
- 54:20Speaker 4: Another one is Yeah, another one is fair Haven.
- 54:25Speaker 2: Yeah. I think it'd be cool if they did a
- 54:27Speaker 2: hot like a it'd be like a picture opportunity called
- 54:31Speaker 2: the holid Deck. And I know they've got the technology.
- 54:33Speaker 2: They had this technology twenty years ago where it looks
- 54:37Speaker 2: like like they did a Ghostbusters kind of theme thing
- 54:40Speaker 2: at Universe Studios years ago and it looked like they
- 54:44Speaker 2: were ghosts on the wall. And I looking back at
- 54:46Speaker 2: it now, I realized that they were projecting onto glass panels.
- 54:49Speaker 2: But because the lighting, you couldn't see the glass panels,
- 54:51Speaker 2: but all you could see it just looked like there
- 54:53Speaker 2: was a ghost floating ten feet away from you. And
- 54:56Speaker 2: it was it looked real. You could do something like that,
- 55:00Speaker 2: like the hollow deck grid in the background and then
- 55:01Speaker 2: the glass panels and then you could pull up whatever
- 55:04Speaker 2: you wanted to right.
- 55:05Speaker 5: Right because you got to keep to people like walking
- 55:08Speaker 5: through this whole thing. Yeah, like different areas almost like
- 55:12Speaker 5: the Jungle Cruise and the mm hmm. I mean I
- 55:17Speaker 5: happened to Disney since I was nine, so everything's gone now.
- 55:21Speaker 2: I think it should be lots of like you know,
- 55:23Speaker 2: these places have a lot of actors that are walking around,
- 55:26Speaker 2: you know, So you could have like boot a guy
- 55:28Speaker 2: dressed up like booth be sort of like tending to
- 55:30Speaker 2: like the flowers and the grass and stuff.
- 55:32Speaker 5: All the grounds keepers are all going to dressed like.
- 55:35Speaker 2: All the all the ground dressed like boot Bee. Yeah,
- 55:39Speaker 2: anybody who's taking out the trash or serving food, all
- 55:42Speaker 2: the taking out the trash. So there you go, there
- 55:46Speaker 2: you go. Oh, no, you know who's gonna be The
- 55:49Speaker 2: people that take out the trash are the Oh they
- 55:53Speaker 2: were featured in Voyager and I just saw them. They're
- 55:57Speaker 2: the ones that were polluting, polluting that space and you're.
- 56:01Speaker 5: Talking about Yes, they're so so toxic that their ships just.
- 56:06Speaker 2: Yeah, exactly. I can't think of the name of the
- 56:08Speaker 2: species right now. It starts with an M or ah.
- 56:13Speaker 2: But anyways, yeah, yeah, Melee May.
- 56:19Speaker 4: Yeah, yeah, yeah, those could be a garbage garbage workers.
- 56:23Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 56:25Speaker 4: What's the name of the the kids program from Voyager?
- 56:30Speaker 2: Oh yeah, flop flower flatter fo Yeah, something like that.
- 56:37Speaker 4: That could be kids Land.
- 56:39Speaker 2: Yeah, that's a great idea. Yeah, yeah, that's a great.
- 56:43Speaker 5: Actually mix that was that was this It was the
- 56:47Speaker 5: cartoon when they just recently made the CG Prodigy. Yeah,
- 56:52Speaker 5: you can mix Flotter with Prodigy for.
- 56:55Speaker 4: The spart Yeah, absolutely, So you.
- 56:59Speaker 5: Go must do each area through each phase of Star Trek.
- 57:04Speaker 5: You can do like you know t US T G
- 57:07Speaker 5: D S.
- 57:08Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, yeah, you could do like fair Haven and
- 57:16Speaker 2: I think somebody mentioned that you could do like the
- 57:20Speaker 2: what's the French different? Yeah yeah yeah. And you can
- 57:24Speaker 2: do different themes like I mentioned earlier, like Dixon Hill.
- 57:27Speaker 2: You know, you can have restaurant themes like different you
- 57:29Speaker 2: have things themed on stories within Star Trek.
- 57:33Speaker 4: Right right, yeah, I like that.
- 57:36Speaker 5: Well, there'd be a vineyard there, oh.
- 57:40Speaker 2: Yeah, definitely sell a lot of the Chateau pa card.
- 57:44Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 57:45Speaker 4: And then would you make an actual line or like
- 57:47Speaker 4: just grape juice so kids could have some too.
- 57:50Speaker 2: I mean you could do you could do both. I
- 57:52Speaker 2: mean they sell alcohol and and things that theme part.
- 57:55Speaker 5: Yeah, so would the buffet be bord thing and the
- 57:59Speaker 5: b SR.
- 58:03Speaker 2: Yes, lots of lots of recipes from from Nelix's cookbook
- 58:08Speaker 2: Oh god, no, lots of lots of Heart of Target.
- 58:15Speaker 2: I mean I'm talking about anymore. I'm talking about the
- 58:18Speaker 2: the Nelix's cookbook from like the I bought it from
- 58:21Speaker 2: the Star Trek experience. So it's a lot of like
- 58:24Speaker 2: Star Trek, not just Star Trek deemed recipes, but like
- 58:29Speaker 2: recipes that Star Trek actors have contributed and things like that.
- 58:33Speaker 4: No, but if you've got if you have like one
- 58:36Speaker 4: vegan restaurant in there, you got to.
- 58:37Speaker 2: Call that, yes, yeah, yep, like like.
- 58:44Speaker 4: Yeah, if you want to go get your veggies, that's
- 58:47Speaker 4: where you got.

- 59:29Speaker 5: He's like he's going all right, well, you know, like
- 59:34Speaker 5: theme part, Like like I said, it would all of
- 59:36Speaker 5: us have to be like Star Wars Galaxies Edge or
- 59:38Speaker 5: whatever they call. Yeh, yeah, yeah, it had to be,
- 59:42Speaker 5: but they would have to figure out like what part
