- 0:43Speaker 2: So listen, let's go for it. I try to get

- 0:51Speaker 1: On my night owl. And if you know me, you
- 0:53Speaker 1: already know, Amen, that this is all.
- 0:56Speaker 2: This is all holy spirit work, Amen, waking up early
- 0:59Speaker 2: and doing the and then I'm hoping that you're getting
- 1:02Speaker 2: something out of this positive. I hope Lord that the
- 1:06Speaker 2: Lord is continually I'm teaching you and helping you through.
- 1:11Speaker 2: And so today I decided to talk about how do
- 1:16Speaker 2: you endure hardships?
- 1:18Speaker 1: How do you endure hardships?
- 1:21Speaker 2: I'm seeing so many things going on in my life,
- 1:26Speaker 2: and my friend's life, my family's life, my brothers and
- 1:29Speaker 2: sisters in Christ. We are enduring and hardships, things that
- 1:33Speaker 2: happen in life unexpectedly. Nobody raises their hand and men
- 1:37Speaker 2: for these hardships, right. Nobody wakes up and be like, oh,
- 1:40Speaker 2: I want to I want to experience a hardship today.
- 1:43Speaker 2: How do you endure that? I don't have no clue
- 1:47Speaker 2: of how a person who doesn't have God in their
- 1:49Speaker 2: lives goes through hardships?
- 1:52Speaker 1: Like what do they do? Where's their hope? What's the alternative? Amen?
- 1:58Speaker 2: Because with God, things are hard in this life. But
- 2:03Speaker 2: thank you Jesus that this world is temporary. This life
- 2:07Speaker 2: that we're living is temporary. We can make right decisions
- 2:11Speaker 2: based on the Word of God, Holy Spirit God and
- 2:14Speaker 2: work through and endure hardships and we have hope on
- 2:19Speaker 2: the other side of that. But a person who doesn't
- 2:21Speaker 2: have the Lord, a person who doesn't believe in God,
- 2:23Speaker 2: a person who doesn't have direction according to the scriptures,
- 2:26Speaker 2: what do they do? But today, let's really back, how
- 2:30Speaker 2: do you, my friend, my brother and sister in Christ,
- 2:33Speaker 2: how do you endure hardships like let's keep it right there.
- 2:37Speaker 2: But the job that I see you, bro, God bless
- 2:39Speaker 2: you is good morning. It's good to see you on
- 2:41Speaker 2: the morning, Devo, God bless you, my friend and my bro.
- 2:44Speaker 2: So that's where we're at today, and this.
- 2:46Speaker 1: Is what I wrote.
- 2:47Speaker 2: I wrote, hardship with faith is the difference needed to
- 2:53Speaker 2: see the greater purpose, because I know when you're going
- 2:55Speaker 2: through something, at least for me, when I'm going through
- 2:57Speaker 2: something that's hard in life, sometimes I don't see the
- 3:00Speaker 2: greater purpose. Like I'll be like, what's going on here?
- 3:04Speaker 2: I'm trying everything to do what's right, and I still
- 3:07Speaker 2: get hit by XYZ. Right, how many people know what
- 3:10Speaker 2: I'm talking about? Matthew Chapter four, verses one to eleven.
- 3:14Speaker 2: So we got a lot to read, eleven verses to read.
- 3:17Speaker 1: Amen.
- 3:18Speaker 2: But that's where I felt led to go and hopefully
- 3:21Speaker 2: we can get it done today. If any questions, comments, concerns,
- 3:25Speaker 2: or pray requests, please don't have to take to it,
- 3:27Speaker 2: even on a live chat. That's what we're here for.
- 3:29Speaker 2: Also at live that's so one is with a z
- 3:31Speaker 2: dot org if you want a space to listen, watch, connect,
- 3:37Speaker 2: even have an interactive Bible on that website.
- 3:40Speaker 1: You can head over there now.
- 3:42Speaker 2: A man, it's all good with streaming live is there
- 3:44Speaker 2: as well, So let's go for Let's pray first. After
- 3:48Speaker 2: we prayer, shit us out for like sixty seconds. Then
- 3:50Speaker 2: when we come back from the other side of those
- 3:52Speaker 2: sixty seconds, we'll get right into We got a lot
- 3:54Speaker 2: to read today, amen, But God's good. I think we
- 3:58Speaker 2: could get it done with the little time that.
- 3:59Speaker 1: We have left. Ben, So let's pray.
- 4:02Speaker 2: Father, in the powerful name of Jesus, thank you so much,
- 4:05Speaker 2: and that you have been with us through thick and thin,
- 4:09Speaker 2: day by day, hour by hour, minute by minute, second
- 4:12Speaker 2: by second.
- 4:13Speaker 1: You are with us.
- 4:14Speaker 2: You are involved in every single detail of our lives,
- 4:18Speaker 2: especially when we're enduring hardships, especially when things are not
- 4:22Speaker 2: going right, especially when we're experiencing heartbreak, especially when we're
- 4:28Speaker 2: losing loved ones, especially when we're seeing the world around
- 4:32Speaker 2: us just crumbling right in front of our eyes. Thank
- 4:34Speaker 2: you for being with us, working through us, and working
- 4:37Speaker 2: in us. Thank you for your power of love, your grace,
- 4:40Speaker 2: and your mercy, your forgiveness. I pray low God right now,
- 4:43Speaker 2: a hedge of protection over every single one of my
- 4:45Speaker 2: brothers and sisters.
- 4:46Speaker 1: And the Lord.
- 4:47Speaker 2: I pray, Low God, that you would continue to remind
- 4:50Speaker 2: us that you are with us, that you would never
- 4:52Speaker 2: leave us nor forsake us. That you are God of
- 4:55Speaker 2: your promise or God of your word, and that we
- 4:58Speaker 2: can trust in you. We obey your commandments, as we
- 5:02Speaker 2: obey your word, as we move forward in victory, knowing
- 5:05Speaker 2: that you are able to work with us and through
- 5:08Speaker 2: us by your power and by your holy spirit.
- 5:11Speaker 1: So I speak life.
- 5:12Speaker 2: I come against anything that tries to bring death to
- 5:15Speaker 2: our minds, death to our bodies physically, emotional and spiritually.
- 5:18Speaker 2: And I set forth and dispatch arky n angels right
- 5:21Speaker 2: now to annihilate the tactics and plans of the enemy
- 5:24Speaker 2: over our lives today. And the powerful name of Jesus
- 5:27Speaker 2: by his authority, I pray it's by faith, knowing that
- 5:30Speaker 2: he God, the Lord Jesus, is able to do exactly
- 5:34Speaker 2: what his word would do for every single individual that's
- 5:37Speaker 2: listening and.
- 5:38Speaker 1: Watching right now.
- 5:39Speaker 2: In Jesus holy name, I pray it's by faith. Those
- 5:42Speaker 2: who agree, we say amen to the Amen the Lord Jesus.
- 5:45Speaker 1: So let's go for it. Help me share this out.
- 5:47Speaker 1: When we come back. We'll get right into it Matthew,
- 5:50Speaker 1: chapter number four, verses one to eleven. So we got
- 5:53Speaker 1: a lot to read and a little bit of time,
- 5:55Speaker 1: but I think we could do it. Amen. Let's go
- 5:57Speaker 1: for it. Aymen and man, we're back.
- 7:18Speaker 2: I got a lot of groups that I share out with,
- 7:20Speaker 2: but I have and I see you, bro, God, bless
- 7:22Speaker 2: you man.
- 7:23Speaker 1: It's to see you in the morning. Devo. Blessings to
- 7:25Speaker 1: you as well, my friend and my bro. Amen, let's
- 7:28Speaker 1: go for it.
- 7:28Speaker 2: As we celebrated from the time it is recording, we
- 7:31Speaker 2: celebrated our.
- 7:32Speaker 1: Moms on Mother's Day. Amen. I reached out to my mom.
- 7:35Speaker 1: I don't know she canna pick up the phone. But
- 7:40Speaker 1: God is good. Amen, She's faithful.
- 7:42Speaker 2: He's faithful to her in her life as well as
- 7:47Speaker 2: bless you, Mom, I love.
- 7:48Speaker 1: You if you're watching or listening. Also to my wife,
- 7:52Speaker 1: which is to me.
- 7:54Speaker 2: An amazing woman of God who went through so much,
- 7:57Speaker 2: and she endured through a lot men and hardships, child
- 8:03Speaker 2: bearing and all that that happened.
- 8:05Speaker 1: In our lives. But how do you endure hardships and
- 8:09Speaker 1: happy mothers?
- 8:10Speaker 2: Sow the moms out there as well, and for all
- 8:12Speaker 2: those who have lost their mom. I know this is
- 8:14Speaker 2: a hard day, Amen, it was a hard weekend. It
- 8:18Speaker 2: was a hard day to celebrate mothers and men. But
- 8:21Speaker 2: we have memories of my moms.
- 8:25Speaker 1: Amen.
- 8:25Speaker 2: I'm blessed that have my mom's still here with us,
- 8:28Speaker 2: and some others have their moms, but happy moms stay
- 8:32Speaker 2: to all those who love, who have grandmoms, who have
- 8:36Speaker 2: moms still here or in heaven.
- 8:39Speaker 1: Amen.
- 8:40Speaker 2: We play pay honor, you know, given honor to the
- 8:45Speaker 2: moms out there, So God bless you all.
- 8:48Speaker 1: So let's go for it. Man, there's a lot to
- 8:50Speaker 1: cover here. Amen.
- 8:54Speaker 2: I was thinking about I said, wait, I'm religious and
- 8:57Speaker 2: think that I have to stick to one scripture men,
- 9:00Speaker 2: because then I'm not really listening to it. Holly goes
- 9:03Speaker 2: the same, so he wanted me to read these verses.
- 9:07Speaker 2: So we're going to read it in Matthew chapter four.
- 9:10Speaker 2: Everybody knows, well, I shouldn't say everybody. A lot of
- 9:13Speaker 2: people know where we're going with Matthew Chapter four in
- 9:15Speaker 2: the very very first part, but we're gonna just read it.
- 9:19Speaker 1: Some people don't know.
- 9:20Speaker 2: Maybe this is the first time you ever read the scriptures,
- 9:23Speaker 2: read the scriptures, or heard the scriptures.
- 9:26Speaker 1: Amen.
- 9:26Speaker 2: Whatever wherever you are in your walk I believe God's
- 9:29Speaker 2: gonna meet you and meet me right where we are
- 9:31Speaker 2: in our spiritual walk.
- 9:33Speaker 1: Amen.
- 9:33Speaker 2: Yo, he never fails, man, he shows up all the time.
- 9:37Speaker 2: God is faithful to his word and to us. So
- 9:40Speaker 2: let me get this on the screen, amen, and here
- 9:43Speaker 2: we go. How do you endure hardship? And of course
- 9:47Speaker 2: you see the chains and the rusty chains across amongst
- 9:51Speaker 2: the rusty chains they meant on the morning, devo. Let's
- 9:54Speaker 2: go for it a lot to read. Hopefully you can
- 9:56Speaker 2: see that, Amen. And we could read this together. Matthew four,
- 10:01Speaker 2: verses one to eleven. Then Jesus was led by the
- 10:03Speaker 2: Holy Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted by the devil.
- 10:08Speaker 1: Holy Spirit is real. Devil is real. Jesus was real, Amen,
- 10:13Speaker 1: and he is real. Amen.
- 10:15Speaker 2: So you could also read the references there. Luke Chapter four,
- 10:18Speaker 2: verses one to thirteen. After he had gone without food
- 10:23Speaker 2: for forty days and forty nights, he became hungry. Right,
- 10:28Speaker 2: it's Bibles clear, and the Bible is relevant. You don't
- 10:32Speaker 2: go with food for all that time, you're going to
- 10:34Speaker 2: be hungry. And the tempter came and said to him,
- 10:38Speaker 2: just like the tempter came in the garden, trying to
- 10:41Speaker 2: speak lies over God's word. And the temper came and
- 10:48Speaker 2: said to him, if you are the son of God,
- 10:52Speaker 2: command that these stones become bred. Who was hungry, But
- 11:00Speaker 2: es reply, it is written and forever remains written. And
- 11:06Speaker 2: shall not live by bread alone, but by every word
- 11:12Speaker 2: that comes out of the mouth of God. Hey follow
- 11:18Speaker 2: follow this good. Then the devil took him into the
- 11:22Speaker 2: Holy City Jerusalem and placed him on the pinnacle, highest
- 11:29Speaker 2: point of the temple, and he said mockingly to him,
- 11:35Speaker 2: if you are the son of God, throw yourself down,
- 11:39Speaker 2: for it is written. He will command his angels concerning
- 11:45Speaker 2: you to serve, care for, protect and watch over you,
- 11:50Speaker 2: and they will lift you up on their hands, so
- 11:54Speaker 2: that you will not strike your foot against the stone.
- 11:58Speaker 2: Because he was referencing, so I'm ninety one verse number eleven. Wow,
- 12:06Speaker 2: he's such a liar. The devil was a lied, using
- 12:09Speaker 2: and referencing scripture to tempt the Lord Jesus. Jesus said
- 12:14Speaker 2: to him, on the other hand, it is written and
- 12:17Speaker 2: forever remains written. You shall not test the Lord your God. Again,
- 12:25Speaker 2: the devil took him up on the very high mountain
- 12:28Speaker 2: and showed him all the kingdoms of the world, and
- 12:31Speaker 2: the glory, splendor, the magnificence and excellence of them. And
- 12:35Speaker 2: he said to him, all these things I will give
- 12:39Speaker 2: you if you fall down, if you fall down and
- 12:44Speaker 2: worship me, Never that, right, never that. Then Jesus said
- 12:48Speaker 2: to him, go away, Satan, for it is written and
- 12:51Speaker 2: forever remains written. You shall worship the Lord, your God
- 12:55Speaker 2: and serve him.
- 12:56Speaker 1: Only. Then the devil left him, and angels came and
- 13:01Speaker 1: ministered to him, bringing him food and serving him. Wow. Powerful, right.
- 13:08Speaker 2: So every time I read the temptation of the Lord,
- 13:11Speaker 2: I realized that the Word of God says that God
- 13:15Speaker 2: cannot be tempted. So this is Jesus, the man being tempted.
- 13:21Speaker 2: Duty of God was never tempted.
- 13:24Speaker 1: Amen. And remember, the devil was not even sure if
- 13:29Speaker 1: Jesus was the son of man.
- 13:30Speaker 2: That's why he said, if you are the son of man,
- 13:32Speaker 2: if you are the son of man, if you are
- 13:35Speaker 2: you know who you say you are, then do this.
- 13:37Speaker 2: That and the third didn't work, didn't work for the devil.
- 13:42Speaker 2: At that point, Jesus was weak and hungry. Still, Jesus
- 13:47Speaker 2: won the battle. He won it through the word of God.
- 13:50Speaker 2: This was a tremendous hardship. But remember, if you back
- 13:54Speaker 2: up a little bit, if you were like read the scriptures,
- 13:57Speaker 2: you'll notice that this happened right after Jesus was filled
- 14:02Speaker 2: with Holy Spirit, or right after God spoke through Holy
- 14:07Speaker 2: Spirit to the Lord Jesus. And then Holy Spirit God
- 14:12Speaker 2: led the Lord Jesus to the wilderness.
- 14:16Speaker 1: Right. He didn't go there with his chest. I said, okay,
- 14:19Speaker 1: let's get this going.
- 14:20Speaker 2: Let me go ahead and get tempted by the devil.
- 14:22Speaker 2: He was led by the Spirit of God into the
- 14:25Speaker 2: wilderness to be tempted by the devil. Why to show
- 14:29Speaker 2: us today that there is no weapon that the enemy
- 14:35Speaker 2: could do to wage against us, or to try to
- 14:38Speaker 2: use to throw off off the course that God has
- 14:41Speaker 2: for us.
- 14:42Speaker 1: Even in our weakest moments. The Lord still prevails.
- 14:46Speaker 2: Even in our weakest times, God still is the victorious one.
- 14:51Speaker 2: To do that in your life, you could do that.
- 14:53Speaker 2: You could do that for all those hoomsoevers who called
- 14:56Speaker 2: upon the name of the Lord Jesus to be saved.
- 14:58Speaker 2: We are saved and being saved, even through the temptations,
- 15:02Speaker 2: even through trials, even through rough times. The Lord Jesus
- 15:06Speaker 2: is with us and his word still remains. And I
- 15:09Speaker 2: like what the scripture says in the amplified version that
- 15:12Speaker 2: the word remains. Amen, it is written and always will
- 15:17Speaker 2: be written. Right, it is written, and that word always
- 15:21Speaker 2: will remain. It is written, and that word will be
- 15:24Speaker 2: forever we endure. At least I endure through hardships. Now
- 15:29Speaker 2: that Christ has been in my life, that I just
- 15:32Speaker 2: got transformed by His power since two thousand and one.
- 15:35Speaker 2: When hardships come, I run onto the scriptures, I run
- 15:39Speaker 2: to the Word. I hide under the powerful wings of
- 15:43Speaker 2: an almighty Father, almighty God, trusting in Jesus and being
- 15:48Speaker 2: led by Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit will lead you
- 15:52Speaker 2: through places.
- 15:53Speaker 1: Amen.
- 15:54Speaker 2: Holy Spirit is not using the wilderness in your life
- 15:58Speaker 2: and in my life to cause you the fall. Holy
- 16:01Speaker 2: Spirit will use the wilderness in our lives, the hardships
- 16:04Speaker 2: in our lives to teach us lessons and to show
- 16:07Speaker 2: us how to endure, and to also remind us who
- 16:11Speaker 2: we are in Christ.
- 16:13Speaker 1: Amen.
- 16:14Speaker 2: Never a time that you were gonna do you notice
- 16:16Speaker 2: in scriptures, through the Disciples, through the Lord, even through
- 16:20Speaker 2: our lives, that Jesus will be like, Okay, I'm gonna
- 16:22Speaker 2: leave you here, or Holy Spirit will say I'll leave
- 16:25Speaker 2: you here and you figure it out on your own.
- 16:27Speaker 2: Tell me when that, when has that ever happened in
- 16:30Speaker 2: your life in your journey with Christ, that he abandons you,
- 16:34Speaker 2: and that he says, okay, go ahead, go ahead and
- 16:36Speaker 2: figure it out yourself. That's not the loving Father, Lord
- 16:41Speaker 2: king right. That's not the father God that we serve,
- 16:45Speaker 2: that leads us just abandoned, leaves us just guessing, leads
- 16:49Speaker 2: us with our hope. That's not the guy that we serve.
- 16:52Speaker 2: The guy that we serve is a God of all hope, comfort,
- 16:55Speaker 2: and he's with us step by step in the journey.
- 17:00Speaker 2: Us endorsed suffering for a greater purpose. We were meant
- 17:06Speaker 2: not to die. We were meant to live forever. But
- 17:10Speaker 2: since Genesis chapter three happened, God, being a just God,
- 17:13Speaker 2: had to make something happened that would show that he
- 17:20Speaker 2: is sovereign over even the fall of man. What he
- 17:24Speaker 2: did was he sent his self himself in a form
- 17:28Speaker 2: of a man. But before that, he spoke to the prophets,
- 17:33Speaker 2: form science, miracles, wonders let the Israelites out of captivity.
- 17:38Speaker 2: And it should have been a short distance or a
- 17:41Speaker 2: short time that they would have got into the promised land,
- 17:44Speaker 2: but because of stubbornness, hard hearts, doubts, lack of faith,
- 17:50Speaker 2: because of routine and familiar reality. They even said at
- 17:55Speaker 2: one point, man, we were better off in bondage.
- 17:57Speaker 1: We were better off in Egypt.
- 17:59Speaker 2: We know the story that it took them forty years
- 18:02Speaker 2: in the wilderness, forty years running around the same mountain,
- 18:06Speaker 2: forty years just out there loss when they had the
- 18:10Speaker 2: Father leading them, when they had the fire at night,
- 18:14Speaker 2: in the cloud by.
- 18:15Speaker 1: Day, and man, they weren't getting it.
- 18:19Speaker 2: Sometimes we don't get it. But God's got a mercy
- 18:22Speaker 2: and grace, and He's patient with us. Man, they connected
- 18:27Speaker 2: to God, endure hardship with faith, trust God and trials,
- 18:32Speaker 2: and resist temptation.
- 18:35Speaker 1: We see it in the story and the scriptures. When
- 18:38Speaker 1: Jesus himself was being tempted by the devil.
- 18:41Speaker 2: What did Jesus do, They cry and say, I can't
- 18:45Speaker 2: take this no more. Did he run to the Father
- 18:47Speaker 2: and say, Father, please help me, I can't do this
- 18:50Speaker 2: no more? Did he did he fight the devil like
- 18:55Speaker 2: literally fight the devil hand in hand combat.
- 18:58Speaker 1: No.
- 18:59Speaker 2: He used the word, which is he was the living Word.
- 19:01Speaker 2: He is the living Word of God, and the Word
- 19:04Speaker 2: was all up in this whole scenario. The word of God,
- 19:09Speaker 2: which we can trust, the Word of God delivers. The
- 19:11Speaker 2: word of God says, The word of God forgives. The
- 19:14Speaker 2: Word of God loves. The Word of God shows mercy,
- 19:16Speaker 2: The word of God shows grace. The Word of God endures,
- 19:20Speaker 2: forever remains forever, just like the translation set Amen, let
- 19:25Speaker 2: me see the verbiage when he says, it is written
- 19:30Speaker 2: and forever remains written.
- 19:32Speaker 1: I love it. It is written. The Word of God
- 19:35Speaker 1: is written and forever remains written. The Word of God
- 19:41Speaker 1: will not be erased.
- 19:43Speaker 2: You could the technology could try to take it off
- 19:46Speaker 2: the tablets, off the phones. Digital Bibles can be changed,
- 19:50Speaker 2: altered and all that stuff.
- 19:51Speaker 1: But the written word of God will never be changed,
- 19:55Speaker 1: forever eternal.
- 19:56Speaker 2: That's why the Word of God, the Bible, stands up
- 19:59Speaker 2: in any renovation.
- 20:00Speaker 1: For all time, it has been scrutinized. I think the
- 20:03Speaker 1: Bible is the most scrutinized book in all of history,
- 20:07Speaker 1: and yet it still remains intact. And there's not a
- 20:11Speaker 1: smart person out there, or smart enough person out there
- 20:14Speaker 1: to figure, oh, well, this can't be true. Because XYZ.
- 20:18Speaker 1: They come up with.
- 20:19Speaker 2: These little ideas of why they feel because no facts
- 20:24Speaker 2: in it.
- 20:25Speaker 1: They feel that the scriptures are not reliable anymore. And
- 20:28Speaker 1: every single time there is a debate concerning that God
- 20:31Speaker 1: will send a man or a woman of God to
- 20:34Speaker 1: say no, that's not true. And this is why, and
- 20:38Speaker 1: we have plenty of reasons to believe why God is real.
- 20:42Speaker 1: His word is true.
- 20:43Speaker 2: A man Jesus existed, He went to a cross, died
- 20:46Speaker 2: and rose again. So many historical facts artifacts, People are
- 20:50Speaker 2: finding stuff all the time of proving that Jesus was alive,
- 20:55Speaker 2: he was real, he walked among the people a man,
- 20:58Speaker 2: not only just through this, but historical facts, because we
- 21:02Speaker 2: have a historical Jesus, Biblical Jesus, prophesied Jesus, a man.
- 21:07Speaker 1: He's spoken in all religions. Everyone knows the name of Jesus,
- 21:12Speaker 1: in all religions. They know about him. Some deny that
- 21:15Speaker 1: he existed.
- 21:16Speaker 2: But when they go through hard times, who are they
- 21:19Speaker 2: trusting as a believer, as a son of God, as
- 21:22Speaker 2: a child of God. When I go through hardships, Amen,
- 21:25Speaker 2: I trust in the Word. I trust in the Lord.
- 21:28Speaker 2: That's how I endure, Amen. And we endure it till
- 21:31Speaker 2: the end. God wants us to go to the full
- 21:36Speaker 2: length of life. He has a plan marked out. His
- 21:40Speaker 2: plan is perfect, a man for my life and for
- 21:43Speaker 2: your life. His plan is perfect. It's purpose for us.
- 21:46Speaker 2: It's perfect, His plans perfect. We can endure because God
- 21:49Speaker 2: endure it. We can endure because the Lord endure it.
- 21:52Speaker 1: Amen.
- 21:52Speaker 2: And we can do this because He empowers us to
- 21:55Speaker 2: get it done by way of His Holy Spirit. Stay
- 21:58Speaker 2: connected to God. Endure hardship with faith, trust God in trials,
- 22:02Speaker 2: resist temptation. The Bible says that if we submit to
- 22:06Speaker 2: God right, submit to God, then we resist the devil.
- 22:12Speaker 2: Because if we don't submit to God, there's no way
- 22:14Speaker 2: to resist the devil. But when we submit to God
- 22:17Speaker 2: resists the devil. And what, just like we saw in
- 22:19Speaker 2: Matthew in this verse these verses.
- 22:22Speaker 1: Devil will flee.
- 22:24Speaker 2: He has to go. Can not stand up against the
- 22:27Speaker 2: powerful word of God. Hates the name of Jesus, he
- 22:29Speaker 2: hates God's creation, he hates a Christian, he hates a
- 22:32Speaker 2: Christ's follower, he hates us all.
- 22:34Speaker 1: But when we bring the word.
- 22:35Speaker 2: And present that word through hardships. That's why it's powerful
- 22:39Speaker 2: to speak life over yourself. It's powerful to pray over yourself,
- 22:43Speaker 2: anoint yourself, wherever you, wherever your flesh is trying to
- 22:47Speaker 2: take over, anoint that part of your body a man,
- 22:50Speaker 2: your mind, physically, emotionally, and spiritually, wherever a man. If
- 22:54Speaker 2: you're into some kind of sexual addiction, a man, anoint
- 22:57Speaker 2: the body parts that are trying to take over. In
- 22:59Speaker 2: the f us, people say, well, that's that seems weird. Listen,
- 23:04Speaker 2: we have stories when Jesus in the scriptures where Jesus
- 23:06Speaker 2: used spit and dirt and put it on people's eyes
- 23:11Speaker 2: that were blind. Anointed that blind eyes, and what happened
- 23:15Speaker 2: that blind people would see. I mean, let's do how
- 23:19Speaker 2: Let's do things the way God did things.
- 23:21Speaker 1: Amen.
- 23:22Speaker 2: I know it sounds weird when I tell people to
- 23:25Speaker 2: annoint yourself, you know, with oil, do this, that and
- 23:28Speaker 2: the third? Why why am I saying that? Because I
- 23:31Speaker 2: see Jesus he did it for others. Amen, So we
- 23:34Speaker 2: could do it for others greater exploits. The Bible says
- 23:37Speaker 2: we would do than what Jesus did.
- 23:39Speaker 1: Amen.
- 23:39Speaker 2: We're just following suit trust in God. Yes, sometimes it
- 23:43Speaker 2: looks weird, but in the world system, everything to them
- 23:47Speaker 2: that we do is weird. But for Christ's follow what
- 23:50Speaker 2: we do is not weird. What we do is anointed,
- 23:52Speaker 2: what we do is powerful. What we do is we
- 23:54Speaker 2: do it by faith, not by sight. We don't have
- 23:57Speaker 2: to follow the how do you call it the norm
- 24:00Speaker 2: of this world system, because we're not part of this
- 24:02Speaker 2: world system.
- 24:03Speaker 1: We are in this.
- 24:04Speaker 2: World, but we're not of this world. We are pilgrims,
- 24:08Speaker 2: We are royal priesthood. We are people who sold seeds
- 24:12Speaker 2: of eternal life all through the earth. Every time we
- 24:16Speaker 2: show up, the Kingdom of God shows up. Do you
- 24:19Speaker 2: realize that when we're going through hardships, people are really
- 24:22Speaker 2: watching and focusing on those who call themselves believers in Christ.
- 24:26Speaker 2: When we're going through a hard time, they're really focused
- 24:29Speaker 2: and they're watching every step.
- 24:31Speaker 1: They're watching what we say, to listen to what we say.
- 24:33Speaker 2: They're watching our movements because they say, let's see what
- 24:37Speaker 2: the difference is between when they, the ones that don't believe,
- 24:41Speaker 2: go through hardships, and when we, the ones who say
- 24:43Speaker 2: we believe, go through hardships. That should be a different
- 24:46Speaker 2: way that we move. Amen, and by way of God's Word,
- 24:49Speaker 2: Holy Spirit, God and all the community of Christ, the
- 24:52Speaker 2: Body of Christ, we endure and we endure hardships through
- 24:55Speaker 2: the end through the end. Amen, So the question remains,
- 24:59Speaker 2: how do you do a hardships? Hardship with faith is
- 25:03Speaker 2: the difference we needed to see the greater purpose, and
- 25:06Speaker 2: the greater purpose is to show others the love of Christ,
- 25:10Speaker 2: the faithfulness of God in our lives.
- 25:12Speaker 1: And then when we get to the other side, Man,
- 25:14Speaker 1: we're good. We're good because we did everything according to
- 25:17Speaker 1: the scriptures. Brother Frank, I see you. God bless you
- 25:19Speaker 1: as well your family. Amen.
- 25:21Speaker 2: Need to pray for one Class. He's been in the
- 25:23Speaker 2: hospital since. Yes, yes, he's been prayed for already. My brother,
- 25:27Speaker 2: A man will continue to pray for him for his life,
- 25:31Speaker 2: and I'm believing God will have the best part of
- 25:35Speaker 2: that story and we will see him soon.
- 25:38Speaker 1: Amen.
- 25:38Speaker 2: He could testify God's faithfulness and goodness even through his
- 25:42Speaker 2: hardships in life and his family in Jesus name.
- 25:44Speaker 1: Amen. Thank you so much, Brother Frank for sharing that,
- 25:49Speaker 1: and we will continue to continue to pray for brother
- 25:51Speaker 1: in One Class.
- 25:52Speaker 2: So God bless you all. Thank you so much for
- 25:54Speaker 2: hanging out with me. Matthew chapter four. Read the whole
- 25:56Speaker 2: chapter if you have time today, Amen, and let's see
- 25:59Speaker 2: what the Lord will do with that word in our
- 26:01Speaker 2: lives in Jesus name. God bless you all, God keep
- 26:04Speaker 2: you all, and remember always that God is good.
- 26:08Speaker 1: Peace,
