- 0:00Speaker 1: Mark the moons on w O RY.
- 0:07Speaker 2: So let's forget to this hour. We'll get to Mom, Donnie,
- 0:11Speaker 2: and we'll get to Mikey, Cheryl, we'll get to Milania
- 0:14Speaker 2: and a whole lot more. Everybody agrees. It was quite
- 0:16Speaker 2: a quite a powerful speech the President made at Davos,
- 0:21Speaker 2: and the big takeaway was he will not use force
- 0:24Speaker 2: to acquire Greenland. So but everybody, normal people agree. Powerful speech,
- 0:31Speaker 2: really explained himself to the world leaders. Now forget the
- 0:34Speaker 2: forget all these smart people. Let's go to the left
- 0:36Speaker 2: wing kooks. What are they going to say? If you're
- 0:39Speaker 2: watching ms whatever the hell it's called. Now, what will
- 0:43Speaker 2: they say? Well, we let's start with Mediaite. That is
- 0:47Speaker 2: a it's a good site, but it's a real slanted,
- 0:51Speaker 2: biased left wing propaganda site. But it's important because a
- 0:56Speaker 2: lot of the whole democratic world, all the MSNB whatever
- 1:00Speaker 2: is the liberal outlets media. They all watch this Mediaite
- 1:03Speaker 2: to get their talking points. So they're trying to find
- 1:07Speaker 2: something wrong with the President's speech. And the media eyed
- 1:11Speaker 2: headline is Trump very awkward, blunder, horrible gaff at Davos. Wow,
- 1:17Speaker 2: what could this be? Well, a lot of the speech
- 1:20Speaker 2: was about Greenland, and apparently a couple of times he
- 1:22Speaker 2: slipped and said Iceland instead of Greenland. Now again it's media.
- 1:29Speaker 2: Heite left wings slanted. I don't think anybody would say, wow,
- 1:32Speaker 2: my god, that's the worst blunder in the history of
- 1:34Speaker 2: the world. One of the reasons probably got confused. If
- 1:37Speaker 2: you watch the speech, he was over and over again
- 1:40Speaker 2: talking about a Greenland is basically just a thick sheet
- 1:43Speaker 2: of ice, and he said it's not really an island,
- 1:46Speaker 2: it's a slab of ice. And you know, a lot
- 1:48Speaker 2: of people pointed out when they talk about all the
- 1:50Speaker 2: minerals that are in Greenland, it's really tough to ever
- 1:54Speaker 2: even think of getting the mat. You got to cut
- 1:55Speaker 2: through like one hundred feet of ice to get to them.
- 1:58Speaker 2: But he kept saying that, you know, it's just it's
- 2:01Speaker 2: very important for US militarily, strategically military base, but otherwise
- 2:06Speaker 2: there's really not much you can do with this island.
- 2:07Speaker 2: It's just again, he kept saying, it's just a slab
- 2:10Speaker 2: of ice. It's nothing but just a hunk of ice,
- 2:13Speaker 2: which is why I probably later slipped and called it Iceland.
- 2:16Speaker 2: You know, it's very funny if you've ever been there,
- 2:19Speaker 2: Iceland is mostly grass and nice Greenland is mostly ice
- 2:26Speaker 2: and no grass. So somebody named the men correctly. Way
- 2:29Speaker 2: back when Ushi Vance that's the wife of Vice President JD.
- 2:34Speaker 2: Vance Is, announced she's pregnant with their fourth child. Now,
- 2:39Speaker 2: a lot of people kind of stunned by that. Wow,
- 2:41Speaker 2: you know, while you're in office, vice president, you're having
- 2:44Speaker 2: a child. And I was trying to think back, have
- 2:46Speaker 2: we ever had anybody in the White House have a
- 2:51Speaker 2: child while in the White Yeah? John F. Kennedy JFK.
- 2:56Speaker 2: Jackie had a third child who died after a few days,
- 3:00Speaker 2: didn't live, but was born. And I think the name
- 3:04Speaker 2: was Patrick. Patrick would have been Patrick Kennedy. But JFK
- 3:08Speaker 2: and Jackie they did have a child born while he
- 3:11Speaker 2: was in the White House. And I think there were
- 3:13Speaker 2: I can't remember who, but you got to go back
- 3:15Speaker 2: a zillion years, there were vice presidents that had children
- 3:19Speaker 2: while in office. You know Caroline Levitt, the Press secretary,
- 3:24Speaker 2: who was doing a great job, phenomenal Press secretary. She's
- 3:26Speaker 2: also now she's pregnant, which means sometime later this year
- 3:31Speaker 2: she'll give birth, and that means she'll have to take
- 3:33Speaker 2: a maternity leave of some kind, so they'll have to find.
- 3:37Speaker 2: I mean, there are deputy press secretaries backups, but they'll
- 3:41Speaker 2: have to find a really good backup who may have
- 3:43Speaker 2: to take over for a month or two for Caroline Levitt. Hey,
- 3:48Speaker 2: you know, you never hear you hear criticism all the
- 3:50Speaker 2: time of every cabinet secretary. They pick on Rubio, fake News,
- 3:54Speaker 2: goes after Scott Bessant. They love going after Hexath all
- 3:58Speaker 2: the time, you know, and even the Democrats they keep
- 4:01Speaker 2: yelling and screaming. Hexath is the most unqualified, most incompetent
- 4:05Speaker 2: defense secretary you've ever had. Meantime, in one year, this
- 4:09Speaker 2: guy has run the most incredibly complex, sophisticated military operations ever,
- 4:16Speaker 2: every one of them one thousand percent successful. I mean,
- 4:19Speaker 2: if you think about it, he probably is now the
- 4:23Speaker 2: most successful defense secretary in modern times. If you look
- 4:27Speaker 2: at the Iraq War under Rumsfeld, maybe it worked, but
- 4:31Speaker 2: it was kind of bungled up. But if you look
- 4:33Speaker 2: at Hexaf, you can't find another defense secretary with a
- 4:35Speaker 2: track record like Hexath. From the bombing of the Iran
- 4:38Speaker 2: nuclear reactors to the capture of Maduro and a million
- 4:43Speaker 2: other operations, this guy has run the most successful military
- 4:48Speaker 2: operations in modern times, so give him a lot of credit.
- 4:52Speaker 2: You know who never gets criticized is Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy.
- 4:56Speaker 2: Now why is that? Well, if you actually look into this,
- 5:01Speaker 2: very quietly, in the last six months, Sean Duffy has
- 5:05Speaker 2: done an amazing job beginning to turn around our transportation system.
- 5:10Speaker 2: You remember when the Trump team came in, there were
- 5:14Speaker 2: all these airport disasters, you know, the crash in Washington,
- 5:17Speaker 2: d C. And remember they had to shut down the
- 5:19Speaker 2: Newark Airport and the towers weren't able to function, they
- 5:24Speaker 2: didn't have enough control. Well, Duffy, behind the scenes has
- 5:26Speaker 2: been quietly patching all this up. The air travel system
- 5:30Speaker 2: has gotten much better, the ports are much more efficient. Duffy,
- 5:35Speaker 2: very quietly, he's been fixing everything, even the trucking system.
- 5:39Speaker 2: You know, we have all these big rig trucks all
- 5:41Speaker 2: over the place, and it turns out many of them
- 5:44Speaker 2: were being driven by illegals who weren't qualified. But in
- 5:48Speaker 2: crazy left wing blue states, they could still get a
- 5:50Speaker 2: trucking license, a commercial driver's license. So about forty five
- 5:55Speaker 2: percent of them have already been taken away by Duffy.
- 5:58Speaker 2: So he's made great improved That's one reason you can't
- 6:01Speaker 2: criticize him. The other reason is you'll never hear democrats
- 6:08Speaker 2: in Congress, like left wing democrats go after the Transportation
- 6:12Speaker 2: secretary because he runs the airports, he runs the trains,
- 6:17Speaker 2: he runs all that stuff. And people in Congress all
- 6:20Speaker 2: they do is travel back and forth to their home state.
- 6:23Speaker 2: So every weekend they're in the airport, they're on a train,
- 6:25Speaker 2: they're in Reagan Airport, they're in this airport. They're always traveling.
- 6:29Speaker 2: And Duffy is very smart, went to everybody in Congress,
- 6:33Speaker 2: gave everybody his cell number. Here. You ever have a problem,
- 6:35Speaker 2: you call me on myself anytime, twenty four hours a day,
- 6:38Speaker 2: call me anytime you need anything. So they're very careful
- 6:41Speaker 2: not to pick on Duffy. They want to have a
- 6:43Speaker 2: good relationship with them. Hey, Milania Trump, there's a big
- 6:47Speaker 2: documentary on Milania Trump that's going to be released in
- 6:50Speaker 2: a couple of weeks or a week or so, big, big,
- 6:53Speaker 2: big blockbuster documentary. The guy that produced it is Brett Ratner.
- 7:00Speaker 2: Now this was Brett Ratner was a very big deal
- 7:02Speaker 2: in Hollywood, a big producer with his own big production
- 7:06Speaker 2: company called Ratpack Entertainment. But Brett Ratner was one of
- 7:12Speaker 2: those guys that got me too. And there was some
- 7:14Speaker 2: horrible scandal with women and terrible sexual harau, all kinds
- 7:19Speaker 2: of stuff. So Brett Ratner got run out of Hollywood.
- 7:22Speaker 2: That was the end of him. And I know him
- 7:25Speaker 2: a little and as far as I know, he was
- 7:27Speaker 2: always sort of a left wing, typical democrat Hollywood. But
- 7:31Speaker 2: he's the guy behind this Milania documentary which seems to
- 7:35Speaker 2: have the full cooperation of Milania the Trumps. It will
- 7:38Speaker 2: make its debut at the Trump Kennedy Center and then
- 7:44Speaker 2: it'll apparently Amazon has got a deal with It's made
- 7:47Speaker 2: by Amazon MGM Studios and they're going to be involved
- 7:52Speaker 2: with it. So at forty million dollar budget, it's gonna
- 7:55Speaker 2: be a big deal. Now it's going to be put
- 7:58Speaker 2: in theaters. It'll be streaming on Amazon, but it'll go
- 8:01Speaker 2: to theaters first. And all the left wing sites are
- 8:05Speaker 2: bragging and bragging and bragging about how the theaters haven't sold
- 8:08Speaker 2: enough tickets. There's going to be empty seats. They're already
- 8:10Speaker 2: calling it a big bomb. It doesn't actually mean anything.
- 8:13Speaker 2: It's that the theaters aren't important. It's what it does
- 8:16Speaker 2: streaming wise. Now it may bomb in the theaters. A
- 8:20Speaker 2: lot of people don't want to go to a theater
- 8:21Speaker 2: to see a documentary, but once it hits Amazon and
- 8:23Speaker 2: it's streaming, the numbers could be huge. So and from
- 8:26Speaker 2: what I hear, it's pretty good, So keep an eye
- 8:29Speaker 2: out for that. So, Mom Donnie goes on the View yesterday,
- 8:35Speaker 2: and a perfect setting for him. It's just perfect for him.
- 8:39Speaker 2: You got these four yo yos that hosts. How many
- 8:42Speaker 2: are in the views at four or five? I think
- 8:44Speaker 2: it's five plus, Mom Donnie, but they're all, you know,
- 8:48Speaker 2: cackling hens. None of them are very bright. It's perfect,
- 8:51Speaker 2: you know. And Mom Donnie can talk a mile a minute.
- 8:53Speaker 2: When you talk that fast, you can now talk a
- 8:54Speaker 2: bunch of babbling idiots. But he's given all these long
- 8:57Speaker 2: winded answers and a lot of word salads. And now
- 9:00Speaker 2: this is him on how he's going to tax businesses
- 9:03Speaker 2: to death. The left wing audience, of course, cheering this on.
- 9:07Speaker 1: And what I've proposed is that we raise ten billion
- 9:10Speaker 1: dollars to pay for our entire economic agenda and start
- 9:13Speaker 1: to trump proof our city because we know he'll use
- 9:15Speaker 1: federal funding as leverage over this city, and we will
- 9:18Speaker 1: do so in two key ways. The first is to
- 9:20Speaker 1: match the state's top corporate tax rate to that of
- 9:23Speaker 1: New Jersey. We are at seven point two five percent,
- 9:26Speaker 1: they're at eleven point five percent. Corporations can pay it
- 9:28Speaker 1: over there, they can pay it over here. And the
- 9:30Speaker 1: beauty of it is that it doesn't just apply to
- 9:32Speaker 1: corporations headquartered in New York City, because when you say this,
- 9:34Speaker 1: people will say, well, they're going to go to Florida.
- 9:37Speaker 1: Wherever you are headquartered. As long as you do business
- 9:39Speaker 1: in the state of New York, you are taxable for
- 9:41Speaker 1: that corporate tax.
- 9:43Speaker 2: Okay, now, fear one of these left wing view idiots,
- 9:46Speaker 2: you're cheering, eh, tax those businesses. It never occurs to
- 9:50Speaker 2: them that what this is is a tariff. If Trump
- 9:53Speaker 2: put tariffs on they'd be screaming and yelling this is wrong.
- 9:57Speaker 2: This is a tariff. In fact, it's a bigger tariff
- 10:00Speaker 2: because when you put a import tariff on a company,
- 10:05Speaker 2: most of the time the company doesn't have to pay it.
- 10:07Speaker 2: The importer pays it, the middleman pays it, the expediors
- 10:10Speaker 2: pay it. So the company here maybe they got to
- 10:14Speaker 2: pay a little bit, not much. But when you put
- 10:16Speaker 2: a tax on the business, they pay it all one
- 10:18Speaker 2: hundred percent. There's nobody else to pass it along to.
- 10:21Speaker 2: So it's a tariff. When you say increased corporate taxes
- 10:25Speaker 2: two percent, well that means every corporation has to raise
- 10:28Speaker 2: the price of the products two percent to cover the tax.
- 10:31Speaker 2: It's a tariff that causes a price increase immediately. But
- 10:35Speaker 2: don't tell these people. They don't know this. They can't
- 10:37Speaker 2: figure this out. So if he said Donald Trump wants
- 10:42Speaker 2: to tariff businesses, they'll start yelling and screaming, this is wrong,
- 10:45Speaker 2: this is outrageous. If the socialists, we're going to tax
- 10:49Speaker 2: those big corporations, they start cheering. They're thrilled. It's the
- 10:53Speaker 2: same exact thing. But they if it's a you call
- 10:56Speaker 2: it a tax, they love it. If you call it
- 10:57Speaker 2: a tariff, they hate it. Here's more, mom, Donnie.
- 11:00Speaker 3: Thing that we do have in common is that we
- 11:01Speaker 3: both love New York City.
- 11:02Speaker 2: Oh he's talking about it now. They're asking him, you
- 11:04Speaker 2: know him and Trump? What's this relationship with him and Trump?
- 11:07Speaker 3: One thing that we do have in common is that
- 11:08Speaker 3: we both love New York City.
- 11:10Speaker 1: We're both New Yorker.
- 11:10Speaker 3: Yeah, And so for that entire meeting, I made the
- 11:13Speaker 3: case about this city and what it can look like
- 11:16Speaker 3: for this city if it's a place that New Yorkers
- 11:18Speaker 3: can afford, or if it's a place that they're pushed
- 11:20Speaker 3: out of. And every single policy that the federal administration
- 11:23Speaker 3: puts forward, it has impacts on the city.
- 11:26Speaker 2: Yeah, so it's quite a meeting, you know this, Mom,
- 11:27Speaker 2: Donnie is babbling away a mile a minute. Trump is
- 11:30Speaker 2: pretending he's interested in this. The meantime, Trump is like
- 11:34Speaker 2: veteran CEO running a global empire, twice president of the
- 11:38Speaker 2: United States, biggest figure in the world. Here's this little
- 11:41Speaker 2: thirty two year old giving him a philosophy on business
- 11:44Speaker 2: and stuff. But Trump's very good at that. Pretends he's listening.
- 11:47Speaker 2: He knows whint to nod and everything. Mom, Donnie. On housing.
- 11:51Speaker 3: Now, the housing crisis, the number one crisis in the city.
- 11:54Speaker 3: We have eight and a half million people, more than
- 11:56Speaker 3: two million. They live in something called rent stabilized housing.
- 12:00Speaker 3: The city decides if the rent's going up or if
- 12:02Speaker 3: it's staying the same. Right, for the last four years,
- 12:04Speaker 3: all they've seen is their rent has gone up and
- 12:06Speaker 3: up and up more than twelve percent. And I told
- 12:09Speaker 3: those New Yorkers. I believe they deserve a rent freeze.
- 12:12Speaker 3: They deserve to have the peace of mind to wake
- 12:14Speaker 3: up one day and know you can do that. That's
- 12:16Speaker 3: what the Rent Guidelines Board can do. And we appoint
- 12:17Speaker 3: every member to that board.
- 12:18Speaker 2: Again, he talks very fast, and he sounds like he
- 12:20Speaker 2: knows what he's doing. Meantime, the truth, this guy has
- 12:23Speaker 2: no clue what to do about housing, hasn't got a clue,
- 12:25Speaker 2: knows nothing about housing. This guy never even owned a house,
- 12:29Speaker 2: he's never even had a house, but knows nothing about it.
- 12:33Speaker 2: And every solution he's proposed would do nothing except increase
- 12:37Speaker 2: the price of housing. Now, that's one thing about socialists.
- 12:42Speaker 2: One thing about socialist you can check the record. Whenever
- 12:44Speaker 2: they get into power and do their stuff, it kills
- 12:47Speaker 2: the lower class, in middle class, it drives their costs up,
- 12:50Speaker 2: It creates shortages. That's one thing you get when you
- 12:52Speaker 2: get socialists. Hey, by the way, the nurses strike, you know,
- 12:57Speaker 2: you got to get out there. If you're the mayor,
- 13:00Speaker 2: you gotta go out there, and you gotta bring the
- 13:02Speaker 2: sides together. You gotta bring the hospitals together, the nurses together.
- 13:05Speaker 2: You gotta ge everybody in the room and negotiate again.
- 13:08Speaker 2: He's a junior guy with no experience, no resume, never managed,
- 13:12Speaker 2: So Mom, Donnie doesn't know that he's out there picketing
- 13:14Speaker 2: with the nurses, so he can no longer be the
- 13:17Speaker 2: broker to settle this. And then he brings in Bernie Sanders. Yesterday,
- 13:22Speaker 2: Bernie Sanders to picket, who has no idea what the
- 13:25Speaker 2: issue is, no idea what they're striking over, no idea
- 13:28Speaker 2: what the hospital's point of view is. All he knows
- 13:30Speaker 2: is this a strike. They got picket signs, and Bernie
- 13:35Speaker 2: comes in to picket, and there he is fighting for
- 13:37Speaker 2: the nurses.
- 13:40Speaker 4: Let me let me just say, from the bottom of
- 13:43Speaker 4: my heart, it is an honor and a privilege to
- 13:48Speaker 4: stand with the nurses of New York City just wanted.
- 13:53Speaker 2: There you go. Let me translate what he's really saying.
- 13:56Speaker 2: I am here to fight for you. I'll be leaving
- 13:58Speaker 2: in an hour. You'll never see me again. I only
- 14:00Speaker 2: came because I heard there was TV cameras here. I'm
- 14:03Speaker 2: going to make a speech, then I'm gonna fly home
- 14:06Speaker 2: and forget about you. That's basically what it is. But
- 14:09Speaker 2: he pretends he knows the issues.
- 14:10Speaker 5: Don't tell me, you can't provide a good nurse staff
- 14:14Speaker 5: ratio where you're paying your CEO at New York Presbyterian
- 14:19Speaker 5: twenty six million a year.
- 14:25Speaker 2: There you go, it sounds good, but that's what CEOs
- 14:28Speaker 2: get paid. It's like standard pay for a ceo. Why
- 14:32Speaker 2: because they're entrusted with like a multi billion dollar business.
- 14:36Speaker 2: You know, like everybody can't believe Jamie Diamond, the head
- 14:40Speaker 2: of a JP Morgan Chase, he made seven hundred million
- 14:43Speaker 2: last year. Well most years it's thirty forty million. But
- 14:46Speaker 2: he had stock options and his stock went up in
- 14:48Speaker 2: value like seven hundred million. Now why is that Well,
- 14:53Speaker 2: because the way he ran the company. JP Morgan Chase
- 14:56Speaker 2: was the biggest stock of twenty twenty five, and he
- 14:59Speaker 2: drove the stock price up like forty percent. So if
- 15:04Speaker 2: you can go to a corporation and drive the stock
- 15:08Speaker 2: price up forty percent, that means JP morgan Chase probably
- 15:11Speaker 2: made maybe thirty five billion off that move. So if
- 15:16Speaker 2: they made thirty five billion the company, they'll give you
- 15:20Speaker 2: seven hundred million. So if you can raise a stock
- 15:22Speaker 2: price forty percent, you'll make a lot of money. It's
- 15:25Speaker 2: a good talent Minnesota. They're going to start arresting people
- 15:28Speaker 2: at President Trump yesterday, what about Don Lemon.
- 15:31Speaker 6: All I just wants to do is get them out
- 15:32Speaker 6: of our country, bring them to the prisons, in jails
- 15:36Speaker 6: and mental institutions from where they came. That's all they
- 15:38Speaker 6: want to do, the patriots, and they have to be
- 15:41Speaker 6: abused by guys like Don Lemon, who's a loser, light weight.
- 15:45Speaker 2: I saw him, the way he walked in that church.
- 15:47Speaker 2: It was terrible. I have such respect for that pastor.
- 15:50Speaker 2: He was so calm, he was so nice. He was
- 15:53Speaker 2: just accosted.
- 15:54Speaker 6: What they did in that church was horrible.
- 15:57Speaker 2: Yeah, what Don Lemon did, what the protests he did
- 15:59Speaker 2: totally crime. If you read the law, because some left
- 16:04Speaker 2: wing got they'll argue, well, if the church is open,
- 16:06Speaker 2: anybody's allowed to enter. Yeah, But in the law it
- 16:08Speaker 2: specifically says if you do anything to intimidate or interrupt
- 16:13Speaker 2: the worshippers or the pastor, you've committed a serious crime.
- 16:17Speaker 2: Anything to intimidate or interrupt. And they certainly didn't. They
- 16:21Speaker 2: certainly did interrupt. They stopped the whole thing. Lemon got
- 16:24Speaker 2: right in the pastor's face and tried to intimidate him.
- 16:27Speaker 2: So Lemon has committed a crime could go to jail
- 16:30Speaker 2: for this. You'll see the arrests coming very soon. Hey, well,
- 16:34Speaker 2: take some calls in a minute. Eight hundred three two
- 16:37Speaker 2: one zero seven ten. Is the number, eight hundred three
- 16:41Speaker 2: to two one zero seven ten, mister.
- 16:44Speaker 6: New York Mark Simo on the Voice of New York
- 16:47Speaker 6: seven ten.
- 16:48Speaker 2: Wo law, Hey, let's take some calls. Let's go to
- 16:52Speaker 2: uh Chris in Montreal. Chris, how you doing?
- 16:55Speaker 7: I'm okay? Thanks, Mark, how you doing? Listen? You'll have
- 17:00Speaker 7: you have a quality yesterday. Who wasn't thrilled with Curtis
- 17:04Speaker 7: taking over for you? That's a compliment to you because
- 17:07Speaker 7: we listened because of your format and stuff, and Curtis
- 17:11Speaker 7: was kind of just like bemoaning all this.
- 17:13Speaker 2: Curtis was very read. He was fine, but he picked
- 17:15Speaker 2: on Trump at one point, so a lot of people
- 17:17Speaker 2: didn't like that. You're you're allowed to pick on Trump now?
- 17:19Speaker 2: And then.
- 17:20Speaker 7: I like Curtis. I didn't vote for him the second time,
- 17:23Speaker 7: but I donated to him twice. But I like him.
- 17:25Speaker 7: But when somebody takes over for you, they should continue
- 17:28Speaker 7: your format, because that's why we listen if we wanted
- 17:31Speaker 7: to know.
- 17:31Speaker 2: But Curtis was fine, he's not for greenland stuff. So
- 17:35Speaker 2: you're allowed to disagree with Trump on an issue again
- 17:38Speaker 2: the ed Cotch rule. Ed Kotch used to say, if
- 17:41Speaker 2: you agree with me on nine out of twelve things,
- 17:43Speaker 2: vote for me. If you agree on twelve out of twelve,
- 17:46Speaker 2: see a psychiatrist. It's listen. Do you know which guest?
- 17:51Speaker 2: We have a lot of guests on. You know which one?
- 17:52Speaker 2: We get a lot of male saying the worst guest.
- 17:55Speaker 2: Don't ever have him on again. Every guest, every single guest.
- 18:00Speaker 2: It's perfectly normal. You're always gonna get some people that
- 18:02Speaker 2: don't like whoever it is. Let's go to Jerry in Greenwich. Jerry,
- 18:06Speaker 2: how you doing.
- 18:08Speaker 8: I'm doing well, Mark, thank you for taking my call.
- 18:11Speaker 8: I like to say I like the picture that you
- 18:13Speaker 8: wear during the holidays in the Greenwich Time with doctor Siegel.
- 18:17Speaker 8: That was really nice.
- 18:18Speaker 2: Wait wait, say it again. What you like what.
- 18:20Speaker 8: Your picture with doctor Siegel? New York's time is newspaper
- 18:25Speaker 8: in Greenwich?
- 18:26Speaker 2: Well, yeah, there's a wonderful, uh Connecticut paper called the
- 18:29Speaker 2: Greenwich Times. And there's a woman that writes like the
- 18:33Speaker 2: restaurant column who was seen where Her name is Susie Castorini.
- 18:36Speaker 2: It's the column is called called the Dish. It's called
- 18:39Speaker 2: the Dish. It's a great column. You don't want me
- 18:42Speaker 2: to talk. You're trying to stop me from talking.
- 18:44Speaker 7: Let must say that.
- 18:45Speaker 2: You give a look, let me finish this anyway. It's
- 18:48Speaker 2: called the Dish. It's a great column. And every week
- 18:50Speaker 2: she puts who's in what restaurant? Who is in Jay House?
- 18:52Speaker 2: Who is here? Who is there? Uh? And doctor Mark Siegel.
- 18:56Speaker 2: She had a picture of the two of us at
- 18:58Speaker 2: a at a book party. Very nice.
- 19:00Speaker 9: Let's go to Bob in Montvale, New Jersey. Bob, how
- 19:03Speaker 9: you doing good art? Thanks for taking my call. You know,
- 19:07Speaker 9: it is an article in even our local paper about
- 19:10Speaker 9: how there's a list of the best of the worst
- 19:13Speaker 9: and New Jersey is right there. As far as businesses
- 19:17Speaker 9: and doing business in New Jersey.
- 19:19Speaker 1: Yeah, so you know Hochel and Mandamie, maybe they better
- 19:24Speaker 1: like read the study about doing business in New Jersey.
- 19:28Speaker 2: And what he did to you know, our business. Oh yeah,
- 19:31Speaker 2: it's horrible. I don't know what's wrong with you people.
- 19:33Speaker 2: You keep prementing these governments. This Mikey Cheryl took office yesterday.
- 19:36Speaker 5: I know.
- 19:38Speaker 10: That there are people here, some of them behind me,
- 19:40Speaker 10: probably who didn't vote for me.
- 19:43Speaker 2: And I know now if I didn't tell you who
- 19:45Speaker 2: this was, and this woman talk like this, what do
- 19:49Speaker 2: you think there's some kind of dopey teenager or something.
- 19:51Speaker 10: Some of you are going to be in my office
- 19:53Speaker 10: yelling at me one day about some disagreements. And yet
- 19:58Speaker 10: as we sit here today, I'm ready to fight to
- 20:01Speaker 10: ensure that you.
- 20:02Speaker 1: Can do it like this.
- 20:04Speaker 2: And the hell did you people?
- 20:06Speaker 7: Do?
- 20:06Speaker 2: You elected her governor? She's gonna drive your costs up.
- 20:09Speaker 10: I hope New Jersey you'll remember me when you open
- 20:13Speaker 10: up your electric bill and it hasn't gone up by
- 20:15Speaker 10: twenty percent.
- 20:16Speaker 2: It's gonna go by thirty percent. These they don't realize.
- 20:19Speaker 2: These they have no clue how to run anything. They
- 20:23Speaker 2: drive up electric costs they try. You want to bring
- 20:25Speaker 2: down the electric bills, natural gas, nuclear plants, electric bill
- 20:29Speaker 2: drops in half immediately. That's one reason it's up so
- 20:31Speaker 2: high here in New York. As Cuomo shut down the
- 20:34Speaker 2: Indian Point nuclear plant driving electric that was twenty five
- 20:38Speaker 2: percent of our electricity, driving costs up. Hey, when we
- 20:41Speaker 2: come back and culture will be with us next on
- 20:44Speaker 2: seven to ten worst slugged.
- 20:47Speaker 1: Into Everything New York. Mark Simone on sevent ten w.
- 20:54Speaker 2: Well and Culture, the best selling author, the great columnist.
- 20:58Speaker 2: Make sure you follow her on Twitter. Even better substack
- 21:01Speaker 2: where you can get her column and get her videos
- 21:02Speaker 2: or podcast interviews. Everything is at and culter dot substack
- 21:07Speaker 2: dot com and culture dot substack dot com and culture.
- 21:12Speaker 11: How you doing fantastic? How are you, Mark Simone?
- 21:15Speaker 2: I'm good. I'm good.
- 21:17Speaker 5: Uh.
- 21:17Speaker 2: President, quite a speech in Davos. I thought it was
- 21:20Speaker 2: pretty impressive, didn't you.
- 21:22Speaker 11: H Was that the one yesterday?
- 21:23Speaker 5: No?
- 21:24Speaker 2: Today?
- 21:25Speaker 5: Oh?
- 21:25Speaker 11: Yeah, I haven't seen today's. I saw yesterday. I imagine
- 21:28Speaker 11: there was a lot of repetition. Yesterday was fantastic.
- 21:33Speaker 2: That was the ninety four minute press conference where he
- 21:35Speaker 2: was great.
- 21:36Speaker 11: Yes, it was unbelievably great. I was in my car,
- 21:39Speaker 11: so I got to listen to almost all of it,
- 21:41Speaker 11: and right before I left to get in my car,
- 21:44Speaker 11: I have a channel where you can see six stations
- 21:47Speaker 11: at once. MSNBC, as far as I could tell, didn't
- 21:50Speaker 11: cover it at all. Yeah, they were talking all the
- 21:52Speaker 11: way through it. CNN began to cover it, and then
- 21:56Speaker 11: when he got into some of the good stuff, like
- 21:58Speaker 11: his description of Somali as not even a country. People
- 22:03Speaker 11: killing one another. They're running around killing one another. The
- 22:06Speaker 11: attack on ilhan Omar in suggestion that some allis just
- 22:09Speaker 11: go home. They don't fit in here. That's when CNN
- 22:13Speaker 11: cut away. And the only place you could hear it,
- 22:15Speaker 11: at least on my serious radio was Fox News, and
- 22:19Speaker 11: it was magnificent.
- 22:23Speaker 2: What do you say about Somalia, he said, all they're
- 22:25Speaker 2: good at his pirate ships. It was pretty good.
- 22:28Speaker 11: Yeah, that's all they do, run around killing one another. Yeah,
- 22:31Speaker 11: they don't even have a government police.
- 22:34Speaker 2: Let me ask you this. We've been playing this clip
- 22:36Speaker 2: for a couple of days. It's Barack Obama. During his presidency,
- 22:40Speaker 2: he sent ice into the cities. He made these speeches
- 22:43Speaker 2: about they were going to round up illegals, especially criminals.
- 22:47Speaker 2: He put a guy named Tom Holman in charge. He
- 22:49Speaker 2: later gave him a medal for doing such a great job.
- 22:52Speaker 2: What changed.
- 22:56Speaker 11: They noticed? The illegals are voting for them, vote sometimes
- 23:00Speaker 11: before they're allowed to vote. As as you know, I
- 23:05Speaker 11: personally believe Democrats never believed this. They have no interest
- 23:12Speaker 11: in the working class. They do want to turn America
- 23:16Speaker 11: into a third world country. Why that is I can't explain,
- 23:25Speaker 11: but yeah, they're all on record. That's the same Senator
- 23:29Speaker 11: Harry Reid. He was Majority leader for a long time.
- 23:33Speaker 11: He was one of the first ones to take to
- 23:35Speaker 11: the Senate floor and give a long speech denouncing the
- 23:39Speaker 11: absurdity of anchor babies. Die Fi and Barbara Boxer was
- 23:45Speaker 11: were fantastic on immigration because they're in California, and California
- 23:51Speaker 11: was the first state destroyed by immigration. You might remember this,
- 23:57Speaker 11: your younger listeners will not, but right around the time
- 24:01Speaker 11: of the Rodney King case. I guess it was soon
- 24:06Speaker 11: after that, some border agents actually did wallop an illegal alien,
- 24:12Speaker 11: and Democrats were trying to turn that into at the border.
- 24:16Speaker 11: It wasn't one of those fake things where liberals were
- 24:18Speaker 11: claiming whips were used. It was just border Asians on horses, okay,
- 24:22Speaker 11: but something similar to that. Some border agents whacked some illegals,
- 24:27Speaker 11: and media trying to turn that into the illegal alien
- 24:31Speaker 11: Rodney and the King, Boxer and Diei Fied both went
- 24:36Speaker 11: to the Senate floor to defend the border agents. That's
- 24:40Speaker 11: how strong Democrats used to be on illegal immigration. So
- 24:46Speaker 11: there's plenty of plenty of video of them out there,
- 24:49Speaker 11: and perhaps they could explain, well, okay.
- 24:52Speaker 2: So they switched because they need the votes. It's a
- 24:55Speaker 2: way of getting votes for dem.
- 24:57Speaker 11: That just became the official position of the Democrat Party.
- 25:00Speaker 11: I mean, the weird thing. One another weird example was
- 25:04Speaker 11: that I'm sure I've mentioned you've mentioned million times when
- 25:07Speaker 11: Bernie Sanders was running for president in twenty sixteen, and
- 25:11Speaker 11: probably one but for the DNC's machinations.
- 25:15Speaker 5: Uh.
- 25:16Speaker 11: He was giving an interview with Ezra Kline, who just assumed,
- 25:20Speaker 11: you know, socialist. Of course, he's for open borders. So
- 25:23Speaker 11: he brings up illegal immigration, and Bernie Sanders went rant
- 25:28Speaker 11: against it, saying, no, of course, I'm against the illegal immigration.
- 25:32Speaker 11: That's a cop in low wage workers, so you can
- 25:36Speaker 11: drive your own workers wages down, which is one hundred
- 25:40Speaker 11: percent true, one hundred percent consistent with a socialist, pro
- 25:45Speaker 11: worker view or my opinion, pro American view. Kline was
- 25:51Speaker 11: was flabbergasted. And then in order that was when Bernie Sanders,
- 25:55Speaker 11: I don't know if you had officially switched yet, but
- 25:57Speaker 11: when he ran for president, he had to switch from
- 25:59Speaker 11: being an independent to being a Democrat. So after that interview,
- 26:03Speaker 11: you know, he checks in with the party. He's just
- 26:05Speaker 11: become a member of the Democrats, goes to the mother
- 26:09Speaker 11: ship and finds out no, No, our position is we
- 26:12Speaker 11: are four, we are for illegal immigrants, we are four
- 26:15Speaker 11: open borders. And I'm pretty sure he was one of
- 26:18Speaker 11: the ones to raise his hands. Did they do the
- 26:21Speaker 11: raise hands thing in twenty sixteen? Man, I hate those questions.
- 26:25Speaker 11: But about whether illegal should get should get free health care?
- 26:29Speaker 2: Okay, so that's why the politicians flip flop. But the
- 26:33Speaker 2: sheep that follow the Democrats did. Why didn't the sheep say,
- 26:36Speaker 2: wait a minute, you just told us the opposite. How
- 26:38Speaker 2: come they don't say anything?
- 26:41Speaker 11: Well, some have in many ways, as you know, the
- 26:45Speaker 11: parties are in some ways switching demographics. I prefer our
- 26:50Speaker 11: new demographic. We're losing to some extent, not all of them. Obviously,
- 26:58Speaker 11: some suburban women are wonderful, particularly the moms. But we're
- 27:04Speaker 11: losing by and large suburban women, but picking up a
- 27:08Speaker 11: much larger cohort of working class America. Yeah, who did. Frankly,
- 27:15Speaker 11: they held on a little too long to the Democratic Party.
- 27:17Speaker 11: It was clear to me as a as a teenager
- 27:21Speaker 11: that this pro worker rhetoric of the Democrats was utter
- 27:25Speaker 11: a complete bs I knew some some top officials at
- 27:30Speaker 11: some unions, and they said the same thing to me that,
- 27:34Speaker 11: you know, they get steel workers union guys to vote
- 27:39Speaker 11: for Democrats for you know, abortion rights and equal pay stuff.
- 27:45Speaker 11: And the Democrats would always say to the unions, yeah,
- 27:48Speaker 11: we'll get you next time. We'll get you guys. We'll
- 27:50Speaker 11: do something for you guys next time, but never quite
- 27:52Speaker 11: got around to doing anything for the working class.
- 27:56Speaker 2: So hey, all this video coming out of Minnesota, all
- 27:58Speaker 2: these crazy nose rings women and all what. By the
- 28:03Speaker 2: time of the midterms, it's kind of hurt the Democrats.
- 28:06Speaker 2: Isn't it going to turn people off?
- 28:09Speaker 11: I do not think this is good for Democrats. The
- 28:15Speaker 11: the women like you say, there, oh my gosh, there's
- 28:18Speaker 11: it's such a type, those Minnesota ladies and middle aged,
- 28:23Speaker 11: short gray hair, a little rotand not particularly full of
- 28:32Speaker 11: joy and grasping at life. And as I've said to
- 28:36Speaker 11: you before that it's just it's unbelievable that these are
- 28:40Speaker 11: the descendants of the Vikings, these people. So okay, that
- 28:45Speaker 11: visual very bad for Democrats. The illegal immigrants, the visual
- 28:53Speaker 11: very bad for Democrats, which is I noticed the first
- 28:56Speaker 11: time we were having big illegal immigrants probably during it,
- 28:59Speaker 11: I was the Trump twenty sixteen. MSNBC would try to
- 29:04Speaker 11: put on some you know, poor illegals to argue their case,
- 29:08Speaker 11: but they were just so hideously unattractive. MSNBC quickly figured out, no,
- 29:16Speaker 11: let's let's get somebody else to do the speaking for them.
- 29:19Speaker 11: And I noticed this on Twitter. Every time you see
- 29:22Speaker 11: one of these illegal aliens, either you know, stamping stamping
- 29:26Speaker 11: her foot, demanding amnesty right away, or being arrested by Ice,
- 29:32Speaker 11: doesn't anyone else think do we want our country to
- 29:35Speaker 11: be ugly? Do we want that to be the the
- 29:39Speaker 11: the image of the American? What what we look like?
- 29:42Speaker 11: We're short and fat and physically repulsive. No, you don't
- 29:46Speaker 11: see a lot of illegal aliens. You don't see a
- 29:48Speaker 11: lot of these Minnesota ladies in Democrats version of themselves. No,
- 29:52Speaker 11: they want to be more like Hollywood where the Democrats
- 29:55Speaker 11: look like everybody on West Wing.
- 30:00Speaker 2: Stuff you can check out follow on Twitter. Very good
- 30:03Speaker 2: on Twitter, but even better as substack. And you got
- 30:05Speaker 2: a new column coming out later today.
- 30:08Speaker 11: Yes it is boss Away insist you all read it
- 30:10Speaker 11: all right?
- 30:11Speaker 2: Just go to and culter dot substack dot com and
- 30:14Speaker 2: culter dot substack dot com and Culter. Thanks for being
- 30:19Speaker 2: with us.
- 30:20Speaker 11: Good to talk to you. Mark Simone, Bye bye, all right,
- 30:22Speaker 11: took care.
- 30:23Speaker 2: Hey don't forget Jimmy Fayala tonight does It'll be with
- 30:26Speaker 2: us on tomorrow show. But every night excellent show nine
- 30:29Speaker 2: to midnight and Buck and Clay will be here in

- 30:54Speaker 1: Now back to the Mark Simone Show on wo R.
- 30:59Speaker 2: You don't forgot to big story the awful, evil Gail King,
- 31:04Speaker 2: who does a disastrous morning show on CBS. It's always
- 31:07Speaker 2: in third place. She's been getting thirteen million a year.
- 31:12Speaker 2: They've made it clear at CBS you're no longer going
- 31:14Speaker 2: to get that, you're no longer viable. They want to
- 31:16Speaker 2: not only cut that the way down, they want to
- 31:18Speaker 2: remove her from the show. Make us some sort of
- 31:21Speaker 2: occasional correspondent or something. You remember last time around when
- 31:25Speaker 2: she had a contract negotiation. CBS was in the middle
- 31:28Speaker 2: of that horrible sex scandal. She was threatening to write
- 31:31Speaker 2: a book. She's the most awful, evil person, and they
- 31:34Speaker 2: got terrified of her and they gave her a huge contract.
- 31:36Speaker 2: Well way past that now, so she's going to take
- 31:39Speaker 2: an enormous pay cut, be cut down to an occasional correspondent.
- 31:43Speaker 2: We'll see how that plays out. We'll bring you more
- 31:46Speaker 2: on this tomorrow. Now, don't go away. Buck and Clay
- 31:49Speaker 2: are next with an excellent show right after the news.
- 31:52Speaker 2: I'm here every day ten to noon, or you can
- 31:55Speaker 2: listen anytime you want, just get the podcast, but otherwise
- 31:58Speaker 2: I'll see you tomorrow. Thanks for listening, Thanks for everything.
