- 0:05Speaker 1: It is time to leave your worries outside and laugh
- 0:09Speaker 1: with us inside the treehouse. I'm Dan ol Mallley and
- 0:12Speaker 1: he is Trey Trendholm. What do you have for us today? Trey?
- 0:19Speaker 2: Well, Dan, I feel like the world needs some advice
- 0:24Speaker 2: and and and I think we're we're, you know, two
- 0:27Speaker 2: people to uh to really give that advice out? Are
- 0:31Speaker 2: we people? For people that are posting on Reddit? Yes?
- 0:38Speaker 1: You know what? When uh, you know what? You're right, Trey,
- 0:42Speaker 1: there does seem to be an overall lack of two
- 0:44Speaker 1: white guys telling people what to do with their lives.
- 0:46Speaker 1: So let's dig in, let's go, let's get after it.
- 0:49Speaker 2: Hey, if you're posting on credit for advice, you could
- 0:54Speaker 2: do worse than ours.
- 0:56Speaker 1: That's a good point. I'm with you there, Thank you
- 0:58Speaker 1: for Yeah.
- 1:00Speaker 2: I mean I've not only are some of the post
- 1:09Speaker 2: on Reddit fantastic about what people ask the stories they
- 1:12Speaker 2: come up with, but some of the advice, I mean,
- 1:17Speaker 2: it's top notch.
- 1:21Speaker 1: What I find myself doing late at night is I'll
- 1:24Speaker 1: occasionally scroll Reddit and I'll just like, I'll go through
- 1:28Speaker 1: and I'll go into certain subreddits like am I the
- 1:31Speaker 1: a hole? Or am I overreacting? All those types of subreddits,
- 1:35Speaker 1: and I'll go in there and I'll just scroll. I
- 1:37Speaker 1: won't even look at the full story or the comments.
- 1:42Speaker 1: I just look at the headlines and just think, my god,
- 1:44Speaker 1: what is wrong with some of you people?
- 1:48Speaker 2: It's a yeah, I I mean, it's one of the
- 1:53Speaker 2: things I think is our overall problem. But the fact
- 1:56Speaker 2: that what is it about Reddit is so fascinating, because
- 2:01Speaker 2: I don't know what it is about that site that
- 2:04Speaker 2: it's like people just spill everything out out on there
- 2:10Speaker 2: and then either are shocked by some of the advice
- 2:14Speaker 2: they get or or the reactions that they elicit.
- 2:21Speaker 1: It's amazing what can happen when you ask a bunch
- 2:24Speaker 1: of strangers for their opinion and their advice, and then
- 2:28Speaker 1: they give it to you, and you're shocked at what
- 2:31Speaker 1: some of them have to say. You shouldn't be You
- 2:34Speaker 1: should not be shocked by what some of these people
- 2:36Speaker 1: are going to tell you, because you opened it up.
- 2:39Speaker 1: You opened up this forum, and you asked a question,
- 2:42Speaker 1: and you got some answers, some of which you may
- 2:45Speaker 1: not have wanted, some of which you may feel compelled
- 2:48Speaker 1: to call the authorities on. But I mean, that's what
- 2:50Speaker 1: happens when you ask a bunch of people something and
- 2:53Speaker 1: everyone has the power of anonymity.
- 2:56Speaker 2: Well, also, let's keep in mind, I mean, go back
- 2:59Speaker 2: to to the whole Reddit game stop stock thing that
- 3:08Speaker 2: you know, where they just drove up the price. I mean,
- 3:11Speaker 2: and it's a it was a fascinating study. But keep
- 3:13Speaker 2: in mind one of the people that profited most off
- 3:15Speaker 2: the game stop deal on Reddit was a guy living
- 3:17Speaker 2: in his mom's basement.
- 3:20Speaker 1: Mhm. It's the ultimate stereotype, it is, and I power
- 3:29Speaker 1: to the people it goes to show. I think Reddit
- 3:33Speaker 1: is a great example of the power of the Internet
- 3:38Speaker 1: for both good and evil.
- 3:43Speaker 2: Agreed, A. There's nothing you can't find on Reddit m hm.
- 3:51Speaker 2: And but it also it as society progresses in the
- 3:58Speaker 2: Internet is just more and more a staple of people's lives.
- 4:02Speaker 2: And I it's just amazing that people will just throw
- 4:05Speaker 2: stuff out there for advice to a bunch of strangers.
- 4:12Speaker 2: And I mean, and maybe maybe there's something cathartic about it.
- 4:15Speaker 2: I don't know that I'll ever try.
- 4:18Speaker 1: I think you may be onto something there because I
- 4:20Speaker 1: have heard and I don't know if this is coming
- 4:22Speaker 1: from actual professionals or this just you know online you know,
- 4:27Speaker 1: social media experts or experts on social media saying like,
- 4:31Speaker 1: if if there's something that you're holding on to, whether
- 4:34Speaker 1: it's a past regret or something you wish you could
- 4:38Speaker 1: have told someone in the moment, something you wish you
- 4:41Speaker 1: could have said for some situation, whatever it is, write
- 4:46Speaker 1: a letter to that person or to yourself, get it out,
- 4:49Speaker 1: put it on paper, and then just you don't even
- 4:52Speaker 1: send it to the person. It's just you just write
- 4:53Speaker 1: it down, kind of like a journal, and that's supposed
- 4:56Speaker 1: to be somehow cathartic. Maybe that's what this is in
- 5:00Speaker 1: digital form. I feel really bad about neglecting my mom,
- 5:06Speaker 1: so I'm going to write this thing on Reddit. Maybe
- 5:10Speaker 1: it'll make me feel better. But not if you read
- 5:14Speaker 1: all the comments that aimed at me, bro, that could
- 5:21Speaker 1: be aimed at both of us. I don't feel bad
- 5:24Speaker 1: about neglecting my mom and B the a hole. Yeah,
- 5:29Speaker 1: I'm gonna need more information please. Yeah, that topic is
- 5:35Speaker 1: a shotgun and you and I both are downrange.
- 5:38Speaker 2: Oh yeah, that one would be a really tough one
- 5:42Speaker 2: for me right now, because yeah, my mom blew away
- 5:50Speaker 2: blue through all her money.
- 5:53Speaker 1: Uh oh yeah, is she asking you for some uh huh?
- 6:01Speaker 1: And It's an odd feeling, isn't it.
- 6:03Speaker 2: It's a very odd feeling. And you know, I've tried
- 6:08Speaker 2: to help her out some. I wish I had made
- 6:10Speaker 2: better decisions in my life, that I was in a
- 6:12Speaker 2: position I could help her out more. But now all
- 6:18Speaker 2: he can do is help her sell some of her crap.
- 6:20Speaker 2: And but at the same time, I warned her about
- 6:25Speaker 2: this a year ago because where she was living, I go,
- 6:28Speaker 2: you need to scale down. Your money is finite. And
- 6:33Speaker 2: anytime I've tried to get you know, I tried to
- 6:36Speaker 2: help take control of her finances and getting better organized.
- 6:39Speaker 2: I was told to basically f off and.
- 6:46Speaker 1: Okay, here she is, and.
- 6:48Speaker 2: Here she is, you know, but you know, and then
- 6:52Speaker 2: I start looking through things and I'm going, oh, so
- 6:56Speaker 2: you needlessly were having your dog walked three times a day.
- 7:00Speaker 2: Oh wow, when someone was there in the morning, could
- 7:03Speaker 2: have done it. And then it was like, hey, all right,
- 7:07Speaker 2: good luck.
- 7:08Speaker 1: Yeah, all right. So now your mom is out of
- 7:10Speaker 1: money and you're helping her to find ways to sell
- 7:15Speaker 1: some of her things to get money, right, right, eBay
- 7:18Speaker 1: and the like. Have you considered seeing how much you
- 7:23Speaker 1: could get just for her just sell her to someone else,
- 7:26Speaker 1: like here, put a bow on her and go here,
- 7:29Speaker 1: here's a mom.
- 7:31Speaker 2: Take it. I've yeah, that's I have better luck with
- 7:39Speaker 2: a ninety five Ultima with two hundred and fifty thousand miles. No,
- 7:48Speaker 2: that even, you know. The more fascinating thing is she
- 7:52Speaker 2: flew it, flooted it out there one time about what
- 7:55Speaker 2: I could come live with you? Oh no, the fun
- 7:57Speaker 2: You're not.
- 8:02Speaker 1: No, you can't just get that out of your head
- 8:04Speaker 1: right now.
- 8:06Speaker 2: And and part of it is like because she, you know,
- 8:13Speaker 2: in a kind of a guilt trip moment, was like,
- 8:15Speaker 2: well you would do it for your stepmother? Yeah, you're
- 8:17Speaker 2: out of would.
- 8:20Speaker 1: It's a harsh truth, mom, but yeah, you backed me
- 8:24Speaker 1: into her corner. And yes, I'm going to be honest
- 8:26Speaker 1: with you about it now.
- 8:27Speaker 2: Yes, And mind you, this is two days after her basically,
- 8:32Speaker 2: when she was telling me all my life's mistakes and
- 8:36Speaker 2: I said anything else, she goes, yeah, you were born.
- 8:48Speaker 1: And you're still taking care of her.
- 8:52Speaker 2: I'm trying to yeah, mhm.
- 9:01Speaker 1: Where she lives right now? Is it on the first floor? No? Well,
- 9:10Speaker 1: after a bomb like that, I can only think of
- 9:12Speaker 1: one place to make yourself feel better. And that's right.
- 9:15Speaker 1: What did you find? What did you find that made
- 9:18Speaker 1: you feel better?
- 9:19Speaker 2: Oh, there's a lot of things. So a couple of
- 9:24Speaker 2: my my favorite reddits are number one, am I the asshole.
- 9:31Speaker 1: M?
- 9:32Speaker 2: And then the other one there's uh, well, there's a
- 9:34Speaker 2: couple of relationship reddits, but the first one am I
- 9:40Speaker 2: the asshole for evicting my girlfriend of three years.
- 9:46Speaker 1: No, I'm just gonna go on face value. I love,
- 9:48Speaker 1: I love, I love doing these just on the headline
- 9:52Speaker 1: and just going with my gut reaction based on next
- 9:55Speaker 1: to no information. If he if he felt the need
- 9:59Speaker 1: or she whatever. If this person felt the need to
- 10:01Speaker 1: evict the girlfriend after three years she did something wrong,
- 10:04Speaker 1: I'm yeah.
- 10:06Speaker 2: Oh you're you are not wrong. So it's a good feeling.
- 10:13Speaker 2: I'll summarize this a little bit. The guy's thirty three.
- 10:18Speaker 2: He received an inheritance when he was twenty four, bought
- 10:20Speaker 2: a cool condo in downtown Vancouver. Been dating a girl
- 10:25Speaker 2: for three years and she's been living there for the
- 10:28Speaker 2: last two years. He makes more money with her, so
- 10:32Speaker 2: he doesn't charge her a lot of rent or anything else,
- 10:34Speaker 2: and he said pretty much pays for everything. About a
- 10:38Speaker 2: month ago, they were supposed to go out on a Saturday,
- 10:41Speaker 2: but she canceled the plans and said she had to
- 10:44Speaker 2: go to a family dinner that he wasn't invited to,
- 10:47Speaker 2: which normally his and said her parents live about an
- 10:50Speaker 2: hour away and they were going to discuss what to
- 10:53Speaker 2: do with her grandmother that was getting dementia. So edding,
- 11:00Speaker 2: long story short, she leaves for the day to go
- 11:02Speaker 2: to her air quotes family meeting, briefly calls him that
- 11:07Speaker 2: night saying she's had a couple of glasses of wine
- 11:09Speaker 2: with her mom and is going to spend the night there,
- 11:12Speaker 2: but then doesn't show up. The next morning, he calls
- 11:14Speaker 2: the mom, and Mom's like, no, I don't know what
- 11:18Speaker 2: you're talking about. I haven't seen her. There was no
- 11:20Speaker 2: family meeting. Oh man, so as any guy would, or
- 11:27Speaker 2: any any person if they found this out. You know,
- 11:30Speaker 2: he's obviously getting angrier by the second.
- 11:35Speaker 1: Oh yeah, said, because your imagination starts taking over and
- 11:39Speaker 1: creating these wild and horrible scenarios, and they run the gamut,
- 11:46Speaker 1: some of which involve her being dead in a ditch
- 11:50Speaker 1: and some of her just being faced down ass up
- 11:55Speaker 1: in front of a train.
- 11:58Speaker 2: Yes, and that is uh, he's so. Then shortly after
- 12:04Speaker 2: he said, someone starts trying to buzz in to get
- 12:07Speaker 2: to into the building, and it's his girlfriend. She's lost
- 12:10Speaker 2: her fob to get into the building, and uh, obviously
- 12:16Speaker 2: he confronted her and said she lied to him. Went
- 12:20Speaker 2: clubbing with a friend, they met a group of three
- 12:22Speaker 2: guys started to go back to their place. She said,
- 12:25Speaker 2: she of course did nothing. It was just her friend
- 12:28Speaker 2: that was having sex with them.
- 12:31Speaker 1: Okay, what you were just filming? If that and and
- 12:39Speaker 1: if that was true, you didn't feel that you could
- 12:42Speaker 1: tell me that. Instead, you decided to create some lie
- 12:45Speaker 1: about family and blah blah blah blah blah that was premeditated.
- 12:49Speaker 1: Come on, lady, that's not even a good lie. Like
- 12:52Speaker 1: Thanels had a point, Okay, overall, Thanels had a point,
- 12:56Speaker 1: but more specifically, like when he's talking to uh, what's
- 13:00Speaker 1: your face? Saying I never taught you to lie? I
- 13:03Speaker 1: should it's like he's saying, it's like you're so bad
- 13:05Speaker 1: at it, M And that's what this sounds like. If
- 13:10Speaker 1: you're bad at lying, don't do it. Just don't. I mean,
- 13:14Speaker 1: you shouldn't lie anyway, but I get it. Shit happens.
- 13:17Speaker 1: But if you're gonna do it, do it well, do
- 13:19Speaker 1: it well?
- 13:20Speaker 2: And tie up loose ends, so you know when you're
- 13:24Speaker 2: gonna include your family and your life, either give them
- 13:27Speaker 2: the heads up or don't do it because they're just
- 13:30Speaker 2: right off the bat, you've left yourself open to someone
- 13:34Speaker 2: going no, I don't know what you're talking about. Yeah,
- 13:38Speaker 2: so anyways, No, dude, you are not the asshole. You
- 13:42Speaker 2: had every right kicker the f out. Yeah.
- 13:45Speaker 1: Absolutely, it's not even close.
- 13:49Speaker 2: This.
- 13:49Speaker 1: Why did you feel that he didn't need advice, he
- 13:53Speaker 1: just needed support?
- 13:55Speaker 2: Well, I am sure, I am sure there are people
- 14:01Speaker 2: who have been you were like, oh my gosh, but
- 14:04Speaker 2: but she needed a place to live. How could you
- 14:05Speaker 2: just put her out on the street? Well, was she
- 14:07Speaker 2: should have thought about that?
- 14:08Speaker 1: Yeah, if sounds like she knows. It sounds to me
- 14:12Speaker 1: like she knows of at least one place that she'd
- 14:14Speaker 1: be with too.
- 14:15Speaker 2: Of those guys upondents? Are you know her friend? But
- 14:19Speaker 2: you know, also, when you're going to say that, no,
- 14:22Speaker 2: I was just sitting there. My friend was the one
- 14:24Speaker 2: getting railed.
- 14:28Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, I'm not buying that, lady.
- 14:32Speaker 2: Sorry, So, no, dude, you are not the asshole, and
- 14:37Speaker 2: don't don't listen to anyone who makes you feel like
- 14:38Speaker 2: you are.
- 14:42Speaker 1: Yeah, this really is a scenario that this one's not
- 14:45Speaker 1: a complicated at all. I was thinking it was going
- 14:47Speaker 1: to be a thing like she was taking advantage of
- 14:50Speaker 1: him and find finances and he's floating it and evicted her.
- 14:53Speaker 1: It's like when he when I realized when the headline was,
- 14:56Speaker 1: am I the a hole for evicting my girlfriend of
- 14:58Speaker 1: three years? I was thinking of it. It sounded more
- 15:02Speaker 1: like a landlord issue. She was taking advantage of the situation,
- 15:06Speaker 1: not paying rent, not cleaning, doing all these things that
- 15:08Speaker 1: would make you a very terrible tenant. Which he didn't
- 15:13Speaker 1: just evict her from the building. I mean, it's like
- 15:16Speaker 1: he evicted her from the relationship. Like wait, so it's
- 15:20Speaker 1: the headline is a little misleading.
- 15:23Speaker 2: Well, judging by the comments that was some of the
- 15:26Speaker 2: people were on there saying, and I don't know what
- 15:28Speaker 2: the laws are in Canada, but some people were like, oh,
- 15:31Speaker 2: she's entitled the part of the equity in your place.
- 15:33Speaker 2: Now He's like, no, she's not. I've taught to an attorney.
- 15:36Speaker 2: And but a lot of people are here like, well,
- 15:38Speaker 2: you can't just put her out on the streets. Yeah
- 15:41Speaker 2: you can't.
- 15:42Speaker 1: I really can. I absolutely and if she didn't.
- 15:46Speaker 2: It's my house, and if she didn't want to be
- 15:48Speaker 2: put out on the streets, you should have thought about
- 15:50Speaker 2: that before. Yeah, at least they had a backup. Always
- 15:53Speaker 2: have a backup plan.
- 15:55Speaker 1: Mm hmm. It sounds like her back gut plan was
- 16:00Speaker 1: backing up.
- 16:02Speaker 2: Ah. Well, yeah, I have I have.
- 16:05Speaker 1: I have no sympathy for for someone in this situation,
- 16:08Speaker 1: and I don't understand people that would say, well, shouldn't
- 16:13Speaker 1: have a place to go. Well, she should have thought
- 16:15Speaker 1: about that before she helped somebody come.
- 16:20Speaker 2: Exactly.
- 16:21Speaker 1: That's what I can't That's what I can't stand. I
- 16:23Speaker 1: can't stand it when people don't think one or two
- 16:25Speaker 1: steps ahead, they just start doing shit. Think about it,
- 16:29Speaker 1: think about it just a little bit, Think about what if?
- 16:32Speaker 2: What if?
- 16:33Speaker 1: What is the worst possible thing that could happen if
- 16:35Speaker 1: I go through with this lie.
- 16:38Speaker 2: My boyfriend finds out well, and the guys that use
- 16:40Speaker 2: me like a slut don't want me.
- 16:46Speaker 1: Yeah, had she thought of that, she might have, you know,
- 16:50Speaker 1: not done what she did, or she at least would
- 16:52Speaker 1: have had a plan in place just in case the
- 16:55Speaker 1: worst case scenario happens as it did. See, if you
- 16:58Speaker 1: prepare yourself for the worst, but hope for the best.
- 17:02Speaker 1: You'll be better prepared.
- 17:04Speaker 2: Sage advice, sir, sage advice.
- 17:08Speaker 1: Especially if, especially if you have plans to run a
- 17:13Speaker 1: train and you're the conductor.
- 17:16Speaker 2: All right, So the next one, oh oh, there there's
- 17:20Speaker 2: a lot more there's but this one it's a funny,
- 17:25Speaker 2: funny thing. But at the end is where I'm like,
- 17:30Speaker 2: this is why you don't You really should think before
- 17:32Speaker 2: you post on reddick or Reddit or any forum on
- 17:35Speaker 2: the internet. The title is this weird libido change in
- 17:38Speaker 2: my late twenties twenty eight. I've always had a fairly libido,
- 17:44Speaker 2: but lately, within the last year it got n half hand.
- 17:48Speaker 2: I've always masturbated clatorally, and usually that was enough to
- 17:52Speaker 2: satisfy me, but now I'm left wanting for more. I
- 17:55Speaker 2: can't get satisfied. It's like my vagina is literally craving dick,
- 18:06Speaker 2: like I need to put something in there. It's almost
- 18:08Speaker 2: like an eight What the F.
- 18:13Speaker 1: It's almost like a what an ache? Oh? Got it? Yeah,
- 18:21Speaker 1: So I'll admit I was I. I will admit I'm
- 18:24Speaker 1: a little sexist on this one because right up until
- 18:27Speaker 1: you mentioned platorally, I assume this is exactly well that's.
- 18:33Speaker 2: So. Here's the you know, it's so bad. I even
- 18:37Speaker 2: got back with an X just that for the physical MC,
- 18:40Speaker 2: but broke that off. Now the ache is back. I
- 18:43Speaker 2: need to have sex, don't have a boyfriend. I hate this.
- 18:47Speaker 2: Does this happen to everyone? Is my body just trying
- 18:50Speaker 2: to get me pregnant? L O L oh my god
- 18:53Speaker 2: FML l O L. But then edit to the pathetic
- 19:00Speaker 2: ask perverts trying to DM me, I'm not looking at
- 19:03Speaker 2: any of your messages. I'm simply hitting ignore and moving
- 19:07Speaker 2: on with my day. What did you think was gonna
- 19:10Speaker 2: happen when you post it on Reddit that you needed
- 19:13Speaker 2: constant dick?
- 19:22Speaker 1: What? What? What were your expectations here did you? I mean, look, guys,
- 19:28Speaker 1: guys will send that stuff at the drop of a
- 19:30Speaker 1: hat anyway, just just the mere hint of an invitation.
- 19:35Speaker 1: Guys will send that stuff. And here you're saying it's
- 19:38Speaker 1: wide open for business and you're mad that people are
- 19:41Speaker 1: coming knocking down your door.
- 19:46Speaker 2: And this is something we have talked about for years,
- 19:50Speaker 2: and it's just the truth. If you were a girl,
- 19:54Speaker 2: I don't care what you look like, what your weight is,
- 19:56Speaker 2: anything else. If you want to get laid, you can get.
- 20:02Speaker 1: Mm hmm. There's always at least one guy, always somewhere.
- 20:06Speaker 1: There's always at least one. You may typically more than but.
- 20:10Speaker 2: Yeah, especially you know, go to a bar, find some
- 20:14Speaker 2: drunk ones. You can always find one. But yeah, what
- 20:19Speaker 2: what did you expect when you post on Reddit that
- 20:25Speaker 2: you are literally craving dick? Did you not think they
- 20:29Speaker 2: were gonna come out of the woodwork.
- 20:32Speaker 1: Did you just think it was going to be a
- 20:34Speaker 1: flood of empathy?
- 20:37Speaker 2: Yeah, that's up, so good luck to you lady.
- 20:45Speaker 1: It's just how do you not know this about life
- 20:49Speaker 1: in general? Which is the old saying you reap what
- 20:52Speaker 1: you sew, You get back what you put out into
- 20:55Speaker 1: the world. If you put out onto Reddit that you
- 20:59Speaker 1: have it crazy, yeah, and then and then a bunch
- 21:03Speaker 1: of people go, here's my offering, how why are you bad?
- 21:10Speaker 1: I mean, if you you basically just ran an ad
- 21:14Speaker 1: and people showing.
- 21:15Speaker 2: You put out there that you needed money, and a
- 21:17Speaker 2: bunch of people sent you money, you wouldn't be pissed.
- 21:21Speaker 1: Yeah, god, oh people. You know what, as much as
- 21:27Speaker 1: I hate people, and I do I want that. No,
- 21:31Speaker 1: the older I get, the more people I hate.
- 21:35Speaker 2: You know what?
- 21:35Speaker 1: That sounds too specific. Let me step back and make
- 21:38Speaker 1: that more broad, is what I mean. The older I get,
- 21:43Speaker 1: the more I hate people. Yeah, just all. And this
- 21:48Speaker 1: is another great example of that, people having certain expectations
- 21:52Speaker 1: and not realizing what's going to happen. My hope is
- 21:58Speaker 1: that she's learned from this and that going forward, she'll
- 22:02Speaker 1: think about the things she posts and you know how like, uh,
- 22:09Speaker 1: what's the term dog whistle? Yeah, that's that's what she did.
- 22:14Speaker 1: She just blew a really big dog whistle in the
- 22:16Speaker 1: middle of this Reddit form and they came and running,
- 22:20Speaker 1: Why are you surprised?
- 22:22Speaker 2: Why are you surprised? And and and you could have
- 22:26Speaker 2: said that out loud at a bar, posted it on Reddit,
- 22:29Speaker 2: posted it on any social media, and they're gonna come
- 22:33Speaker 2: running swinging like Parzan.
- 22:46Speaker 1: From Vain to Vein.
- 22:50Speaker 2: All right, one more, All right, here we go. My
- 23:00Speaker 2: girlfriend recently betrayed me. For a long time, most of
- 23:06Speaker 2: my life, I was very overweight, weighing in at you know,
- 23:13Speaker 2: about five eleven and three hundred and forty pounds. Over
- 23:17Speaker 2: the last year, I lost a lot of weight, got fit,
- 23:19Speaker 2: finally found a diet that's stuck, and even got a girlfriend.
- 23:25Speaker 2: Never felt better and more comfortable in my own skin
- 23:27Speaker 2: than I have recently. So for Halloween, my girlfriend and
- 23:35Speaker 2: I decided to dress up, and she wanted to do
- 23:39Speaker 2: something from Rocky Horror Picture Show, and I dressed up
- 23:42Speaker 2: as Frankenfurter. Now, for those of you who don't know,
- 23:48Speaker 2: that's basically a man in lingerie, it's the.
- 23:52Speaker 1: Tim Currii role, right, That's correct, got it? Thank you
- 23:55Speaker 1: for saving me the search.
- 24:00Speaker 2: Girlfriend found it incredibly hot. We had the best sex
- 24:04Speaker 2: of our lives that night, and after that she kept
- 24:08Speaker 2: wanting me to put it on and has even bought
- 24:10Speaker 2: me some more lingerie. Everything was going great until I
- 24:19Speaker 2: found out that she was telling all our friends about
- 24:22Speaker 2: how I like to dress up in lingerie and have
- 24:25Speaker 2: sex with her.
- 24:27Speaker 1: Oh no, that is the ultimate betrayal.
- 24:34Speaker 2: So now I'm not quite sure what to do. I
- 24:38Speaker 2: think I have to break up with her. I feel
- 24:39Speaker 2: incredibly betrayed. Was I stupid to trust her so much? Yes? Well,
- 24:47Speaker 2: and Dan, this is where I wanted to ask you,
- 24:49Speaker 2: At what point do you tell your partner these deep
- 24:52Speaker 2: down secrets?
- 24:56Speaker 1: Well, this one's weird. I believe in open communication, you
- 25:01Speaker 1: should build the voice of the things you want and
- 25:02Speaker 1: need in the bedroom. Sure, but this one, this ain't
- 25:08Speaker 1: right because it sounds to me if I'm receiving all
- 25:13Speaker 1: the information that you've put out there that this guy
- 25:15Speaker 1: put on Reddit correctly, he was cool with his new
- 25:20Speaker 1: hot body and decided to show it off a little
- 25:23Speaker 1: bit on Halloween. Turned on his girlfriend so much that
- 25:30Speaker 1: she now realizes maybe she didn't realize this is a
- 25:32Speaker 1: thing she was into and until by the way, what
- 25:36Speaker 1: I wonder is is he into it as much as
- 25:39Speaker 1: she is?
- 25:39Speaker 2: No, So number one, I should I press this. This
- 25:45Speaker 2: was one of these reddits that had constant updates. It
- 25:48Speaker 2: was actually from Halloween a year ago, and so then
- 25:50Speaker 2: it was a bunch of updates since then.
- 25:53Speaker 1: Whatever.
- 25:54Speaker 2: But No, in fact, she was the one who kept
- 25:59Speaker 2: buying lingerie because it turned her on so much. But
- 26:04Speaker 2: then she started telling her friends about it, and obviously
- 26:07Speaker 2: I think her friends probably looked at it a little weird.
- 26:09Speaker 2: So she was like, yeah, he's got this thing. You know,
- 26:12Speaker 2: it's fetish about dressing up in ladree, which included obviously,
- 26:16Speaker 2: when you're a couple, you have other couples that you're
- 26:19Speaker 2: friends with. The guy she's friends with the girl, so
- 26:21Speaker 2: now his buddies. No, he likes dressing up in lingerie.
- 26:28Speaker 1: First of all, Trey, I'm not saying this is you
- 26:33Speaker 1: at all. I just wanted on the record that if
- 26:37Speaker 1: you were the guy in this scenario and I was
- 26:40Speaker 1: the friend one of your buddies, I really wouldn't give
- 26:44Speaker 1: you that much of a hard time about it. I'd
- 26:46Speaker 1: be like, best sex of your life. Huh, that's good,
- 26:49Speaker 1: Good on you. You do you whatever makes you happy.
- 26:53Speaker 1: You're doing something that makes her happy, and she sold
- 26:55Speaker 1: you out, that's bad. I got you and I have
- 26:58Speaker 1: the rest of our lives for me. Give you a
- 27:00Speaker 1: hard time about wearing women's lingerie, but ultimately you were
- 27:05Speaker 1: doing something to help their relationship. So from a macro standpoint,
- 27:09Speaker 1: I applaud the effort. And from a more specific standpoint, Uh,
- 27:17Speaker 1: he can't just break up with her. He has to move,
- 27:20Speaker 1: he has to fight. Have you ever heard of this?
- 27:21Speaker 1: I saw this online a few months ago. There there's
- 27:24Speaker 1: a service that a company in Japan offers that they
- 27:29Speaker 1: will disappear you in the middle of the night. They
- 27:34Speaker 1: will take you like close up all your bills, all
- 27:36Speaker 1: your business, everything. They will relocate you into hiding with
- 27:40Speaker 1: a brand new life. This is what that's what this
- 27:43Speaker 1: guy needs. If he feels this betrayed and that he
- 27:48Speaker 1: can't look at all the people he knows in the
- 27:50Speaker 1: face anymore, then he should just you know, poof.
- 27:55Speaker 2: But but you, you would be such a friend that
- 27:57Speaker 2: you would, you know, be like, oh, I understand, man,
- 28:04Speaker 2: if you're into it, who cares? I mean? You say that.
- 28:08Speaker 2: But I also have a feeling that the next show
- 28:11Speaker 2: would be let's talk about trace lingerie fetish.
- 28:18Speaker 1: Well, I'm not saying I wouldn't use it as shown,
- 28:21Speaker 1: I'm just saying off the air as a friend, i'd
- 28:25Speaker 1: be there for you. Professionally speaking, I'm gonna run you
- 28:29Speaker 1: over with a lingerie bus. The bus is gonna have
- 28:33Speaker 1: stockings like a microthong thing.
- 28:36Speaker 2: It's gonna he'd be like a little strap on. Jokes
- 28:39Speaker 2: aren't funny anymore, are they? That is right?
- 28:45Speaker 1: Joke about it again? Go ahead, come on, lover boy,
- 28:48Speaker 1: not the least to what your new nickname would be.
- 28:50Speaker 2: Freaking well, I don't think you have much worry about
- 28:56Speaker 2: that one. I can't walk in high heels.
- 29:06Speaker 1: Especially not that's hard enough in jeans. For all things Treehouse.
