- 0:53Speaker 4: could turn into a pretty sweet deal for you. A
- 0:56Speaker 4: hundred bucks and you can get a jersey from the
- 0:58Speaker 4: likes of Leonard Fournett, Odell Beckham Junior, Justin Jefferson, Paul Minary,
- 1:04Speaker 4: let's see Tommy White all kind of weeks brothers, right,
- 1:07Speaker 4: all three are individually. So one hundred dollars get you
- 1:10Speaker 4: one of these boxes, and you got somebody that purchased one,
- 1:13Speaker 4: and you're going to open it here live on air.
- 1:14Speaker 5: Yeah, we're getting ready to open it now. Mister Billy
- 1:17Speaker 5: just posted.
- 1:18Speaker 2: It, all right, mister Billy Billy.
- 1:20Speaker 4: Yeah, if you had added a Hester Flynn in Jersey,
- 1:23Speaker 4: you could have got one fifty at least.
- 1:27Speaker 6: So we were kind of talking about the value of
- 1:28Speaker 6: these mystery boxes, like you got you got jerseys anywhere
- 1:31Speaker 6: from like sixty bucks to three hundred and fifty dollars
- 1:34Speaker 6: in here, right, A lot of them are than that
- 1:36Speaker 6: three hundred dollars range. Yeah, fifty three, seventy five. Yeah,
- 1:38Speaker 6: it's for one hundred bucks. It's kind of a you know,
- 1:40Speaker 6: it's a little bit of a sweet deal. It's a
- 1:42Speaker 6: it's a toss up on what you get. But I mean,
- 1:44Speaker 6: there are there's no bad names in this box.
- 1:46Speaker 5: I can tell you that. Yeah, there's the reason why.
- 1:48Speaker 5: But there's no gambling. This is not a gambling. This
- 1:51Speaker 5: is a you're guaranteed to Jersey after today.
- 1:54Speaker 2: I'm not saying the word gambling. I'm not trying to
- 1:57Speaker 2: say that you will not yet. I'm not trying to
- 1:59Speaker 2: get it. I'm not trying to go in the old
- 2:01Speaker 2: patty wagon.
- 2:03Speaker 4: All right, let's see, let's see you said, mister Billy.
- 2:05Speaker 2: I'm excited.
- 2:06Speaker 6: Okay, wait, let's do some guesses here. Let's do let's
- 2:09Speaker 6: do a couple of predictions here. Let me look at
- 2:11Speaker 6: the names again. I am going to go.
- 2:14Speaker 4: This is going to be a Devon White, Jersey White,
- 2:20Speaker 4: because he's three one eight three one great and I
- 2:22Speaker 4: saw his name and I'm going Devin White.
- 2:25Speaker 6: I'm either gonna I I'm between Honey Badger and the
- 2:28Speaker 6: Triple Week's autograph.
- 2:30Speaker 2: I hope it's not Jordan's Jordan.
- 2:34Speaker 4: You want to take a guess, Kiren, I'm gonna go
- 2:39Speaker 4: Honey Badger, Honey Badger.
- 2:40Speaker 2: That'd be it'd be one of those big ones. High.
- 2:44Speaker 5: I just hope it's a good one for the first one.
- 2:46Speaker 2: It's all good. They're all good. Uh. It's purple. He's
- 2:50Speaker 2: gonna get it's purple. People, it's purple.
- 2:52Speaker 4: So you're trying to say you're gonna get a Richard Dixon,
- 2:55Speaker 4: which would be a.
- 2:55Speaker 6: Great one, just getting rich bullet. Let's see a bullet,
- 2:59Speaker 6: all right? It is football Jersey.
- 3:02Speaker 2: Uh, it's a weeks which one? Can you read it?
- 3:06Speaker 2: You can pull it out? Man, It's okay. That's a
- 3:10Speaker 2: good point. Yeah. Oh, we got wits. We got a wit.
- 3:16Speaker 4: That's really good.
- 3:23Speaker 2: That's a two hundred fifty dollars value right there. Now.
- 3:25Speaker 5: You can't sign that one upside down? Well, one of them.
- 3:28Speaker 2: I see, well, that's pretty weak wit to do that.
- 3:32Speaker 2: So to do it regular side, he didn't want to
- 3:35Speaker 2: do it the right way. They signed it the right way,
- 3:37Speaker 2: the right way. That's kind of boring.
- 3:38Speaker 5: They just had a story just released on ESPN the
- 3:41Speaker 5: other day about a Tom Brady jersey has been circulating
- 3:44Speaker 5: the for sale market that he signed upside down. I
- 3:47Speaker 5: thought it was really really and they took a picture
- 3:50Speaker 5: of it. He signed it from a fan on the wall.
- 3:52Speaker 2: Yeah. See ahead of the game.
- 3:53Speaker 6: People's always following what I do always.
- 4:00Speaker 5: That's right, Hey, Jacob, this Saturday, This Saturday, I want
- 4:05Speaker 5: to tell the listeners that we are having Charles Alexander
- 4:08Speaker 5: here at the store.
- 4:10Speaker 2: That goy was pretty good running football, pretty good.
- 4:12Speaker 5: They just retired as jersey over at LSU, so we're
- 4:15Speaker 5: gonna be having him Saturday morning from ten to eleven
- 4:18Speaker 5: here sign an autographs, jerseys, helmets things.
- 4:22Speaker 2: Oh yeah, yeah, that's pretty Adam. Yeah, I walked in.
- 4:27Speaker 4: I walked into an event that Charles and Kevin falk
- 4:29Speaker 4: Rabbed Me and Fly were doing. I'm like, oh cool,
- 4:31Speaker 4: I just became the third best running back in this room.
- 4:34Speaker 4: Cool because Charles Alexander was a freak show. I mean
- 4:37Speaker 4: I watched the highlights and they kind of looked like
- 4:39Speaker 4: thes we're watching it from seven, the same quality there.
- 4:42Speaker 4: And gosh he was he was really really good, great,
- 4:46Speaker 4: great human being as well too. I don't know if
- 4:48Speaker 4: y'all have ever had a chance to sit down and
- 4:49Speaker 4: talk with him, but sawt of the Earth just an
- 4:52Speaker 4: incredible guy and it was a really good player, not
- 4:55Speaker 4: only in college but the pros as well.
- 4:56Speaker 2: Yeah, for sure, Cool, he'll be right here.
- 4:58Speaker 5: Excited to have him here at third non thirty burbank driver.
- 5:01Speaker 2: What's on? You say? Ten? Am?
- 5:03Speaker 4: Okay, So he's gonna be here, Like just just know
- 5:09Speaker 4: like you're getting a chance to like have a conversation
- 5:11Speaker 4: with him, Like you get a chance to like like
- 5:13Speaker 4: it's it's a great setting here. It's not like he's
- 5:15Speaker 4: going to be like just rushing you through the line.
- 5:18Speaker 4: The cool part about doing all this you get a
- 5:20Speaker 4: chance to sit down and Charles is so great with
- 5:22Speaker 4: this time. He's like, if you want to hear a
- 5:24Speaker 4: story's probably gonn tell you a story. Sure, if you
- 5:26Speaker 4: want to talk about a certain run, he's gonna tell
- 5:27Speaker 4: you about a certain run. So that's an incredible access
- 5:29Speaker 4: and I mean you probably saw it if you were
- 5:31Speaker 4: here for the weeks brothers.
- 5:32Speaker 2: Right.
- 5:32Speaker 4: So that's what like a place like this is very
- 5:34Speaker 4: cool for because it's not like you're at this, uh.
- 5:38Speaker 2: You know, big convention.
- 5:39Speaker 4: And sometimes when you're at like a big convention and
- 5:40Speaker 4: we've all done, i mean like they serve their purpose.
- 5:42Speaker 4: But you go to a big convention, it's like we
- 5:44Speaker 4: kind of gotta we got to roll through here because
- 5:46Speaker 4: you got a ton of people. Everything's kind of crazy
- 5:49Speaker 4: as well, because you've got chaos around.
- 5:51Speaker 6: You, Like there's a big barrier you got to stay
- 5:53Speaker 6: in like a certain Yeah, like this is not that
- 5:55Speaker 6: this is like social distancing.
- 5:57Speaker 4: Yeah before like that was something that we knew what
- 5:59Speaker 4: that So, yeah, come check that out.
- 6:02Speaker 2: It's gonna be very very cool. I got a question.
- 6:05Speaker 6: So during the football season, of course, I'm sure a
- 6:08Speaker 6: lot of a lot of your inventory, a lot of
- 6:10Speaker 6: your sales, a lot of what's in the store is
- 6:12Speaker 6: is football based, right and rightfully so, So during the
- 6:15Speaker 6: football season, especially like at the professional level, like there's
- 6:18Speaker 6: ebbs and flows to people's season. They play good, they
- 6:21Speaker 6: play bad, and it's kind of like this in the
- 6:23Speaker 6: card game like the stock on cards rising and falls
- 6:27Speaker 6: with how well that player is performing. So I which jerseys?
- 6:31Speaker 6: Which memorabilia is kind of hot?
- 6:33Speaker 2: Right now?
- 6:35Speaker 5: Are we just talking at ll SU? We're talking to
- 6:37Speaker 5: the NFL now both here be either Yeah, LSU is crazy.
- 6:41Speaker 5: People all the asked the time, Well they lost last week,
- 6:44Speaker 5: like sales are.
- 6:44Speaker 2: Going to be down.
- 6:45Speaker 5: They're really buying. These customers are buying jerseys of the past,
- 6:49Speaker 5: so it doesn't matter day to day. Really, they're buying
- 6:52Speaker 5: the OBJ and the Tyrone Matthew and all that stuff
- 6:55Speaker 5: like proving jerseys and Hester and Flynn.
- 6:58Speaker 4: Do I have to say that, yes, yes, yes, absolutely, Okay,
- 7:02Speaker 4: the contract, but they are buying stuff that's already been
- 7:06Speaker 4: proven and already happened.
- 7:07Speaker 5: Right, very rare are you buying except for this next
- 7:11Speaker 5: couple of weeks because we did the week signings what
- 7:14Speaker 5: I did there?
- 7:15Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, so it is.
- 7:18Speaker 5: It is kind of rare to have a product on
- 7:20Speaker 5: the field and product on the tables. So it's going
- 7:23Speaker 5: to be a new aspect to see how that plays out.
- 7:24Speaker 2: Yeah, it's kind of like the memorabilia game.
- 7:26Speaker 6: It's like taking such a huge step like I wish,
- 7:29Speaker 6: like when I was playing I understood the hobby world,
- 7:32Speaker 6: the memorabilia world just because like you had access to
- 7:35Speaker 6: all these cool things, and you know, I would have
- 7:38Speaker 6: saved more cleats or helmets.
- 7:39Speaker 2: So you know, done more stuff.
- 7:40Speaker 6: But it's taken such a big step, and I know
- 7:42Speaker 6: COVID played a big part of that. And I look
- 7:44Speaker 6: at like the market and all this stuff, and it's
- 7:46Speaker 6: like it's almost like you talk about the older player jerseys,
- 7:50Speaker 6: like you know, you talk about like trading cards, You
- 7:52Speaker 6: talking about jerseys, you talk about things. It's it's like
- 7:54Speaker 6: almost like trading and purchasing like art, right, But with art,
- 7:59Speaker 6: it's just like the it's an eye of the beholder.
- 8:01Speaker 6: And something that you can't put like a finger on
- 8:03Speaker 6: is nostalgia, right, Nostalgia for people they love the cards
- 8:07Speaker 6: of or the jerseys or the autographs of people they
- 8:09Speaker 6: grew up watching and they have these great memories of playing.
- 8:12Speaker 6: It's not necessarily the people that are doing it right
- 8:14Speaker 6: at that time. It's nostalgia and that's something that they
- 8:17Speaker 6: art trade in and purchasing doesn't really have.
- 8:19Speaker 5: Nostal Nostalgia is a good word. I like to always say,
- 8:22Speaker 5: we don't sell memorability. We sell memories or we sell
- 8:25Speaker 5: a moment into that right or dreams like the company's
- 8:28Speaker 5: named I mean, go figure, but we sell that one
- 8:30Speaker 5: moment like I remember where I was standing at that
- 8:33Speaker 5: moment when yeah, I mean we're going to talk about
- 8:35Speaker 5: the a Tani deal forever, like like we're going to
- 8:39Speaker 5: talk about the fourth and one play. That's I mean,
- 8:41Speaker 5: all those moments is what we sell here.
- 8:45Speaker 4: If y'all could have one piece of memorabilia, and I'm
- 8:48Speaker 4: not talking about like Tom Brady's first touchdown pass because
- 8:52Speaker 4: of the value of it. I'm talking about just for you,
- 8:54Speaker 4: because you talk about that and you immediately go back
- 8:56Speaker 4: to a memory or maybe it's even like before you
- 8:59Speaker 4: were born, but you go back in and you watch
- 9:01Speaker 4: it and you're like, man, that that was inspiring, and
- 9:03Speaker 4: that's who I want to be.
- 9:04Speaker 2: Like whatever it might be, who would it be for y'all.
- 9:11Speaker 2: That's a tough question.
- 9:11Speaker 6: It's a loaded question because it's supposed to be especially
- 9:15Speaker 6: as like as long as we play, so I have
- 9:16Speaker 6: some really cool stuff of like when when I played right,
- 9:19Speaker 6: so I have I have the cleat somewhere in the
- 9:21Speaker 6: National Championship that still have the dried up confetti on
- 9:24Speaker 6: the bottom of it. Now it's like like black, like
- 9:28Speaker 6: it doesn't have color anymore. But the confetti at the bottom,
- 9:31Speaker 6: Like I think that's really cool because it's so it's
- 9:34Speaker 6: the memory, it's the nostalgia of all that.
- 9:36Speaker 2: But I grew up and we a.
- 9:39Speaker 6: Fan of cowboys, Texas Rangers, Like Texas Ranger stuff to
- 9:43Speaker 6: me is like awesome, but not Textas Ranger stuff. Now,
- 9:47Speaker 6: I don't care about that. I don't care about the
- 9:48Speaker 6: stuff that I watched like at.
- 9:50Speaker 4: Home and see, like I don't care about my like
- 9:52Speaker 4: I don't care about my stuff like that does. But
- 9:54Speaker 4: like for me, like a sign neck roll by Mike Alstott,
- 10:00Speaker 4: Like if he gave me one of those Cowboy callers
- 10:03Speaker 4: that he wore and he signed it, you couldn't offer
- 10:06Speaker 4: me a price.
- 10:07Speaker 2: That I'd give it to you.
- 10:07Speaker 4: Yeah, I I would love Jim Taylor anything.
- 10:13Speaker 7: Now.
- 10:14Speaker 4: I wasn't alive when Jim was playing, but I was
- 10:16Speaker 4: certainly alive and had great conversations. He used to come
- 10:18Speaker 4: around the locker room all the time. And let me
- 10:21Speaker 4: tell you something, like when he was in his seventies
- 10:22Speaker 4: and eighties, he still looked like he would get after it.
- 10:25Speaker 4: I mean and just the hardest handshake and looking the
- 10:29Speaker 4: eyes and have a moment with you and like talk
- 10:30Speaker 4: about just life and talk about football and great determination
- 10:34Speaker 4: and whatever. Like if I could have like anything from
- 10:37Speaker 4: Jim Taylor like that, would that would be in my office.
- 10:40Speaker 4: It'd be the only thing in there. It would be framed,
- 10:42Speaker 4: it would be under a lock and key, like because
- 10:44Speaker 4: like that would mean the most to me. So like
- 10:47Speaker 4: for me, I've always known mine. Those are the two things.
- 10:50Speaker 4: So all start if you're listening, because I'm sure you
- 10:52Speaker 4: are in Tampa Bay, go ahead and send me a
- 10:54Speaker 4: cowboy caller. And then yeah, if I don't ever find
- 10:57Speaker 4: Jim Taylor, I have an alert.
- 10:58Speaker 2: I have it.
- 10:58Speaker 4: I have it set up on eBay, an alert if
- 11:01Speaker 4: anything of Jim Taylor game used ever comes on the site,
- 11:04Speaker 4: I get alerted it hadn't happened yet.
- 11:06Speaker 5: So people ask me all the time, like, obviously we
- 11:09Speaker 5: owned millions of dollars of inventory. What was my favorite piece?
- 11:12Speaker 5: I don't have very much in my personal collection anymore,
- 11:17Speaker 5: but stuff that players have given me. Personally, mine is
- 11:22Speaker 5: shout out hester on the on the TV.
- 11:25Speaker 2: That can't I can see that face anyway. Mine is
- 11:32Speaker 2: mine is now what you watch that run tray?
- 11:33Speaker 4: Why don't you say that about that now dragging gators
- 11:36Speaker 4: down the field?
- 11:38Speaker 2: Sorry? All right? Can I continue? Yes? All right?
- 11:40Speaker 5: So mine h Pete Rose was one of my biggest
- 11:44Speaker 5: clients I ever worked with a lot, and we became
- 11:48Speaker 5: really good friends and spent a lot of time together.
- 11:50Speaker 2: But he gave me a ball one time and.
- 11:52Speaker 5: He goes, if you ever sell this, I'll kill you,
- 11:54Speaker 5: and I'm gonna tell you a story about it. And
- 11:56Speaker 5: so as he signed it, he's telling me about he
- 11:58Speaker 5: had to go overseas. In his arrow was Joe Demaggio.
- 12:03Speaker 5: He was a rookie, Joe was older and they had
- 12:05Speaker 5: to go on this tour to morale the troops up
- 12:08Speaker 5: and all this stuff. So in the middle of the night,
- 12:10Speaker 5: I'll keep this as clean as possible, Joe says, I
- 12:13Speaker 5: need a shower, and Pete's like, you're in the middle
- 12:16Speaker 5: of the jungle, Like you're not getting a shower. He's like, no, no, no, no,
- 12:18Speaker 5: Pete Rose, You're gonna shower me. So Pete Rose had
- 12:22Speaker 5: to get a five gallon bucket and like dump over
- 12:24Speaker 5: a five gallon bucket and showered Joe Demaggio. Oh, my gosh,
- 12:28Speaker 5: and he said that he very quickly realized and found
- 12:31Speaker 5: out why Marilyn Monroe loved him so much.
- 12:33Speaker 2: Oh my gosh.
- 12:34Speaker 5: Yeah, So I have a autograph baseball by Pete Rose
- 12:39Speaker 5: and he put Pete Rose. I gave Joe DiMaggio a showers. Sorry,
- 12:44Speaker 5: that's my that's my piece that like, I'll never sell.
- 12:47Speaker 2: I love it. I love it.
- 12:48Speaker 6: Yeah, I did.
- 12:50Speaker 2: As you were telling the story about.
- 12:54Speaker 6: About that, I was thinking about like the one the
- 12:56Speaker 6: one piece of memorabilia I've seen that I've I've actually
- 12:58Speaker 6: been like like jaw dropped, like, are you serious?
- 13:01Speaker 2: That's that?
- 13:02Speaker 6: Like, I like, I've been that into was. I was
- 13:06Speaker 6: saw mister uh, mister Warren Rabb every time, and I
- 13:10Speaker 6: was I was meeting with him and I.
- 13:11Speaker 2: Was talking to him, and he.
- 13:12Speaker 5: Did a signing here.
- 13:14Speaker 6: Awesome, very cool, and well, yes, everybody do a signing here,
- 13:17Speaker 6: but us geez, I know, it's kind of wild. So
- 13:20Speaker 6: I said there, we're talking and I'm just kind of
- 13:22Speaker 6: shooting the shooting the breeze, if you will, and I
- 13:25Speaker 6: look over on the wall.
- 13:27Speaker 2: I'm like, hey, what's that man, what's that well football
- 13:29Speaker 2: right there?
- 13:29Speaker 6: Yeah, And He's like, oh, that Oh, that's the ball
- 13:33Speaker 6: that Billy Cann's scored with on Hallowey Night.
- 13:37Speaker 2: Mmm. So what that? Mmmm?
- 13:44Speaker 4: That could be the most valuable piece of L s
- 13:46Speaker 4: U merchandise maybe ever?
- 13:49Speaker 2: Yeah? Maybe was it? Well, that's fine, you're good.
- 13:52Speaker 4: I would say maybe something that I put that up with,
- 13:56Speaker 4: maybe something more and more the bat of the ball
- 13:59Speaker 4: in the college.
- 13:59Speaker 2: We'll see what else. I was like anything from nineteen that.
- 14:06Speaker 5: Would helmet in jersey from Burrow that year.
- 14:10Speaker 4: Yeah, and I think helmet and jersey that for sure.
- 14:12Speaker 4: But when you have the ball from the play, like
- 14:16Speaker 4: maybe like the the third and seventeen ball from Texas LSU.
- 14:19Speaker 2: I don't know. I'm trying to I'm trying to think
- 14:21Speaker 2: like any of our game or in jerseys.
- 14:23Speaker 4: I'm sure definitely not maybe like the touchdown ball in
- 14:26Speaker 4: this Florida game.
- 14:26Speaker 2: I don't know. I mean, not even close to Halloween,
- 14:29Speaker 2: I know.
- 14:29Speaker 4: I mean, that's it's like, that's the first story you
- 14:32Speaker 4: have to hear when whenever you become an LSU fane.
- 14:35Speaker 2: Yeah, it was the first time.
- 14:37Speaker 4: I was like, Holy, I think that's the most valuable
- 14:39Speaker 4: thing you could have.
- 14:41Speaker 5: I mean that or the jersey from that game. You
- 14:43Speaker 5: know the helmet from that game.
- 14:44Speaker 4: But I'm just thinking the ball made the ball like
- 14:46Speaker 4: it had it had to cross the goal line. If
- 14:48Speaker 4: it doesn't, you don't win. Like so maybe Meadhead, I'm
- 14:51Speaker 4: thinking about it like too much. But for sure, so
- 14:56Speaker 4: mister rab put a little bit extra security on your door.
- 14:59Speaker 2: After one just nart you out. I didn't say where it.
- 15:02Speaker 5: Was Prodash Dreams dot Comics.
- 15:05Speaker 4: Yea, yeah, right again mystery boxes you just saw. I
- 15:10Speaker 4: mean you paid one hundred dollars. You got a two
- 15:11Speaker 4: hundred and fifty dollars jersey, so you're already in the right.
- 15:14Speaker 4: You're in the win one hundred and fifty dollars. And
- 15:16Speaker 4: that's what you're going to do when you get one

- 17:16Speaker 7: Of tigers turn talkers. This is off the bench, all right,
- 17:24Speaker 7: welcome back in.
- 17:26Speaker 4: It is ot B here live from Pro Dreams. Let's
- 17:29Speaker 4: go ahead and we're gonna get to our guy, chef,
- 17:33Speaker 4: Michael Johnson. It is now time to answer all of
- 17:36Speaker 4: your monchy question.
- 17:38Speaker 2: Chef.
- 17:38Speaker 4: We appreciate your time as always. How you doing this week,
- 17:41Speaker 4: sir man, I'm blessed brother. All right, Uh let's go
- 17:47Speaker 4: ahead and uh let's let's get a vibe check, chef,
- 17:49Speaker 4: because you've always, you know, got a pretty good pulse
- 17:51Speaker 4: of the team. You see him, yeah, you know you're
- 17:53Speaker 4: around them every single day. Kind of break down maybe
- 17:56Speaker 4: how the week went, you know, tough loss there on
- 17:59Speaker 4: the road and I had a chance to see you
- 18:01Speaker 4: on the road, which is always my pleasure. But now
- 18:03Speaker 4: you're coming back home. Kind of give us a vibe check.
- 18:05Speaker 4: Maybe as a team.
- 18:08Speaker 8: Yeah, you know, I mean I'll continue to tell you
- 18:10Speaker 8: this that this is a resilient team. You know, after
- 18:13Speaker 8: a win or a loss, they come into Monday Monday morning,
- 18:16Speaker 8: business as usual. It's time to focus on the next game,
- 18:18Speaker 8: you know. And then I think that's what's beautiful about
- 18:21Speaker 8: this team, is it's put the win or the loss.
- 18:24Speaker 8: You know, you can't. Yeah, I don't think it's healthy
- 18:27Speaker 8: to dwell in either. You know, if you dwell on
- 18:28Speaker 8: a win, you go into a kind of complacent perhaps,
- 18:32Speaker 8: and if you go into it dwelling on the loss.
- 18:35Speaker 8: You know, like you've got to have a positive mindset
- 18:37Speaker 8: every game. And I think that I see that out
- 18:39Speaker 8: of every one of these guys on Monday morning.
- 18:42Speaker 6: All right, Chef, when you cook, you know, you know
- 18:43Speaker 6: someone waiting someone's hearts always, you know, through their stomach.
- 18:46Speaker 6: And so after an emotional game, after a loss, is
- 18:49Speaker 6: there anything you do different? Maybe throw a little little
- 18:51Speaker 6: extra comfort food in there, maybe a little ice cream,
- 18:53Speaker 6: something like that, anything to get the mood out from
- 18:55Speaker 6: a food perspective.
- 18:57Speaker 8: Honestly, it's more important for a recovery day, you know,
- 19:00Speaker 8: like omegas and stuff like that. And they know that
- 19:02Speaker 8: we're business like that. Like we we try not to
- 19:05Speaker 8: get into the head game too much. We try to
- 19:06Speaker 8: stay at the body game and just worried about what
- 19:10Speaker 8: they need to recover with. And you know, they get
- 19:12Speaker 8: a meal on Sunday that I'm not a part of.
- 19:14Speaker 8: But Monday is a big day for us, and it's
- 19:16Speaker 8: still a recovery day because I mean they've burnt a
- 19:19Speaker 8: lot of energy on It's on a Saturday afternoon, Saturday evening,
- 19:23Speaker 8: so really we you know, find our fundamentals and recovery.
- 19:27Speaker 4: Yeah, all right, chef, we got some people inside of
- 19:30Speaker 4: the chat. I want to know, did you try any
- 19:32Speaker 4: Nashville Hot Chicken?
- 19:35Speaker 8: You know, I was there, we were we were there
- 19:37Speaker 8: a very very short amount of time and I did not.
- 19:40Speaker 8: I had a stay for dinner and it was back
- 19:43Speaker 8: to business, you know. I mean I don't. I don't
- 19:45Speaker 8: think the team was even there for fifteen hours, man,
- 19:47Speaker 8: So you know, I was there a day in advance,
- 19:49Speaker 8: but it was, you know, the business to be done,
- 19:53Speaker 8: so I didn't get out to get any Nashville.
- 19:56Speaker 6: Hop All right, past segment is here. All right, I'm
- 20:01Speaker 6: cooking venison round steak tonight. Any tips from the chef.
- 20:05Speaker 8: Venison round steak, so it's you know a lot of
- 20:07Speaker 8: connected tissues that for me, it's slow and low. You know,
- 20:12Speaker 8: it's I mean, round is really good for roast because
- 20:15Speaker 8: of the amount of connective tissue, because it's super lean,
- 20:19Speaker 8: doesn't have a whole lot of fat in it. You know,
- 20:20Speaker 8: it's not lending itself to high high heat and quick cook.
- 20:24Speaker 8: So typically that is going to indicate that you need
- 20:28Speaker 8: to cook slower and lower.
- 20:33Speaker 2: Chef.
- 20:33Speaker 4: So, this is that time of the year whenever you know,
- 20:36Speaker 4: we're at the ball field and we get home like
- 20:38Speaker 4: at eight thirty and yeah, chef, you got us, Chef,
- 20:43Speaker 4: you got us, Ye.
- 20:44Speaker 8: I got you.
- 20:45Speaker 2: Ah, there we go, Chef.
- 20:46Speaker 4: This is that time of year where we're at the
- 20:48Speaker 4: ball field until eight thirty and you leave the house
- 20:50Speaker 4: like as soon as I get off Air five, like
- 20:52Speaker 4: we're out the door, we're going somewhere. And so anything
- 20:55Speaker 4: that you would recommend, right, is it a slow cooker,
- 20:58Speaker 4: Like give us something that if you're you know, one
- 21:01Speaker 4: of those parents right now that as soon as you
- 21:02Speaker 4: get home from work, you're at a ball field, you
- 21:04Speaker 4: don't get home till eight thirty, Like, what would you recommend?
- 21:07Speaker 2: So you're not just.
- 21:07Speaker 4: Vegging out like on fast food because you know, it's
- 21:10Speaker 4: air quote easier than having something ready at the house.
- 21:13Speaker 8: Yeah, you know, I think this time of year, I
- 21:15Speaker 8: really get into soups and you can you can put
- 21:17Speaker 8: a soup and a crop pot and let a cooker
- 21:18Speaker 8: you know, for from morning tonight and have it be done.
- 21:21Speaker 2: Or or like one of.
- 21:23Speaker 8: My favorite dishes on Earth, the chicken Catchatory, and you
- 21:26Speaker 8: can put that in the crop pot in the morning,
- 21:28Speaker 8: you know, like that or you know, before you leave
- 21:31Speaker 8: the house and come home and that could that chicken
- 21:33Speaker 8: be cooked in the red sauce and just be beautiful
- 21:36Speaker 8: and that it's a real I mean, I don't you
- 21:38Speaker 8: guys a fan of chicken catch story hopefully, but I
- 21:41Speaker 8: mean it's a wonderful dish. It's super hardy. You can
- 21:44Speaker 8: throw the carrots and stuff in there with it kind
- 21:46Speaker 8: of sweeten the dish up a little bit. But that
- 21:48Speaker 8: is one of my favorite fall you know, slow cook
- 21:52Speaker 8: evy evy menu items to put in a crop pot
- 21:55Speaker 8: come up too. Chili as well, you know, like you
- 21:57Speaker 8: can put chili in the crop pot. Let's let's be
- 22:00Speaker 8: in the meat cooking the crock box and it cooks
- 22:02Speaker 8: slow slows through the course of the day and get.
- 22:04Speaker 6: The same thing.
- 22:05Speaker 2: Yeah, che if.
- 22:05Speaker 6: I would say probably one of the greatest inventions for
- 22:07Speaker 6: the kitchen is a crock pot.
- 22:09Speaker 2: Oh my god, can you do some things with that?
- 22:11Speaker 2: And is it easy? Yeah? I'm telling you.
- 22:13Speaker 8: You know, it's set it and set it and walk
- 22:15Speaker 8: away and you can come home and I be ready
- 22:16Speaker 8: and you know, like it's not a it's not a
- 22:18Speaker 8: five minute dish, but it's a it's relatively low involvement, right,
- 22:23Speaker 8: And that's that's I think, you know, ideal for a
- 22:26Speaker 8: busy parent that you want to have the quality food
- 22:29Speaker 8: that you get from a home cooked meal, but you
- 22:31Speaker 8: don't have the time to do it, you.
- 22:32Speaker 6: Know, Yeah, no question, Okay, I got it. I got
- 22:35Speaker 6: a good one here. So it's hashtag machie. What foods
- 22:38Speaker 6: are the best way to put on weight if you
- 22:39Speaker 6: have a high metabolism. But I'm sure this is something
- 22:42Speaker 6: that you have to deal with with athletes all the time.
- 22:44Speaker 6: You got especially in football alignment people in training camps
- 22:48Speaker 6: and during the middle of the season, like keeping weight on,
- 22:51Speaker 6: especially for linemans who have to gain some weight, but
- 22:53Speaker 6: you want to do it in a healthy way. And
- 22:54Speaker 6: I know that you work hand in hand with the
- 22:56Speaker 6: diet the great dieticians over there, So how do you
- 22:58Speaker 6: do it in a healthy way? Put on some weight
- 23:00Speaker 6: for high metabolism.
- 23:03Speaker 8: Yeah, it's going to be lean, lean meat, proteins, man,
- 23:06Speaker 8: you know, carbs, stuff like that, lots you know, vegetables carry,
- 23:10Speaker 8: vegetable carry, and by and large, you know, I'm not
- 23:13Speaker 8: a dietician, so I can't give a specific person a
- 23:16Speaker 8: specific remedy for this, but by and large, you know,
- 23:19Speaker 8: you have to look at you have to know what
- 23:20Speaker 8: your caloric burn is in the day, and if you
- 23:23Speaker 8: want to gain lean muscle mass, you have to have
- 23:26Speaker 8: lots of protein in there and higher caloric intakes than
- 23:30Speaker 8: what you're putting out, if that makes sense. So if
- 23:32Speaker 8: you're if you're burning six thousand calories a day because
- 23:35Speaker 8: you have high metabolism, you need to be putting in
- 23:37Speaker 8: seven thousand calories a day with a fair amount of
- 23:41Speaker 8: protein being that that caloric intake so that you have
- 23:44Speaker 8: something to build on. If if it's all carbs, it's
- 23:47Speaker 8: not going you know, like it's not Those aren't the.
- 23:49Speaker 2: Billion blocks for muscle tissues?
- 23:51Speaker 8: You need to have proteins in there so that you
- 23:53Speaker 8: have something to build with and you need you know,
- 23:54Speaker 8: like there's other stuff there too, And I don't want
- 23:56Speaker 8: to get it on the radio, but you know, as
- 23:59Speaker 8: a general sense, you need to have more more chloric
- 24:03Speaker 8: intasts than what you're burning off. And there needs to
- 24:05Speaker 8: be a substantial amount of protein in there for to
- 24:07Speaker 8: be the built the building blocks of the muscles.
- 24:10Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 24:10Speaker 6: I think in the layman terms, like for weight gain
- 24:12Speaker 6: or weight loss, you either have to have a calorie
- 24:15Speaker 6: surplus or a calorie deficit at the end of the.
- 24:18Speaker 8: Day, that's right, Yeah, Yeah, And the aminos are important
- 24:21Speaker 8: in there. The aminos are the building blocks, you know,
- 24:24Speaker 8: the amino chains, So those come from the pro from
- 24:27Speaker 8: the proteins you can you can get it from like
- 24:30Speaker 8: you can get a complete protein complex from eating beans
- 24:33Speaker 8: and rice together. That's what you call a complete or
- 24:36Speaker 8: a complete protein uh that that has all the aminos
- 24:39Speaker 8: in the and the and like Kinla I think actually
- 24:42Speaker 8: has all of all of the amino protein profiles in there.
- 24:45Speaker 8: But you know, by large it's going to come from
- 24:48Speaker 8: muscle meats.
- 24:49Speaker 4: You all right, chef hashtag munchies here, How do I
- 24:54Speaker 4: tell my wife her crock pot meals are bland and
- 24:56Speaker 4: overcooked without sounding rude.
- 24:59Speaker 2: Oh you don't, you keep your mouth shut.
- 25:03Speaker 8: Yeah, you know. Here's the thing is that it's okay.
- 25:07Speaker 8: So I hope your wife's not listening because you know,
- 25:10Speaker 8: and I think that you have to.
- 25:11Speaker 4: Use the jeb my wife the listener's wife, by the way,
- 25:13Speaker 4: all right, right, right.
- 25:14Speaker 8: Well, whoever's wife it is, right, Yeah, I think that
- 25:17Speaker 8: this is where you use the Jedi mind trick, you know,
- 25:20Speaker 8: like you're your trude is so good. It's it's so
- 25:23Speaker 8: much better than mine.
- 25:24Speaker 1: You know.
- 25:24Speaker 8: I don't know how you do that, you know, like
- 25:26Speaker 8: there's always something extra, and you don't talk negatively about
- 25:28Speaker 8: it and talk positively about it. You know. I wonder,
- 25:30Speaker 8: you know, like and make fellow suggestions of what do
- 25:34Speaker 8: you think I need to do to mind to make
- 25:36Speaker 8: mind better? And and uh, I think by nature you're
- 25:39Speaker 8: going to send hers and her mind into hers of
- 25:43Speaker 8: you know, like how she makes that because I'm not
- 25:44Speaker 8: going to go criticize my wife's cooking at all, or
- 25:48Speaker 8: or his or anybody else's, you know, like you know,
- 25:51Speaker 8: sometimes you just got to grin and bear it or
- 25:53Speaker 8: or you know, or you have to humble yourself before
- 25:56Speaker 8: it be like, there's what it is. So I don't
- 25:59Speaker 8: know that. That's a tough one, and I feel like
- 26:02Speaker 8: I'm stepping in somebody's Hey.
- 26:05Speaker 2: They asked that. Okay, it's not your fault.
- 26:08Speaker 6: They asked the question, Chef, it's not your fault. But
- 26:12Speaker 6: all right, so, Chef, we of course this weekend got
- 26:15Speaker 6: a big matchup versus Texas A and M. I mean,
- 26:17Speaker 6: this is not a food question. This is just a
- 26:19Speaker 6: you know, vibe check from you. On a scale of
- 26:22Speaker 6: one to ten. I want you to rank the Texas
- 26:24Speaker 6: A and M.
- 26:24Speaker 8: Yel leaders, is there a negative answer?
- 26:29Speaker 2: There we go. That's the perfect answer, you know, I.
- 26:32Speaker 8: Mean, can we go zero to ten? But I just
- 26:33Speaker 8: say zero?
- 26:34Speaker 2: Actually a number two exactly. There you go, all the
- 26:43Speaker 2: all the weird stuff.
- 26:44Speaker 8: Yeah, I'll just say this. I'm glad that we're playing
- 26:48Speaker 8: here at LSU. It's not at college station.
- 26:51Speaker 2: That yeah.
- 26:52Speaker 4: Yeah, it's not my favorite trip college station, right, Yeah,
- 26:57Speaker 4: not my favorite trip either. Chef Michael John's an LSU
- 27:00Speaker 4: executive chef good enough to join us every single week
- 27:02Speaker 4: to answer your monchy questions. Chef, we appreciate as always, sir.
- 27:06Speaker 8: Take care pellas.
- 27:11Speaker 4: Man coach Miles was not happy on that personal foul
- 27:14Speaker 4: they gave Ali Highsmith. That was a trash call, referees.
- 27:18Speaker 4: I'm so mad about it. Eighteen years later, as we're
- 27:20Speaker 4: watching the grainy two thousand and seven LSU Florida game
- 27:23Speaker 4: here at Pro Dreams, that's a terrible play.
- 27:26Speaker 2: Tim You think that's a good play, terrible mechanics. You

- 30:44Speaker 4: Come with this one, this illegal sports betting thing in
- 30:49Speaker 4: gambling poker, whole.
- 30:50Speaker 2: Situation they forgot?
- 30:52Speaker 4: Whoa yeah, The FBI director just came out and said
- 30:55Speaker 4: more than thirty people, including Portland Trailblazer's head coach Chauncey
- 30:59Speaker 4: Bill up to Mim Heats Terry Rezier, and former player
- 31:03Speaker 4: Damon Jones, have been arrested as part of a year
- 31:06Speaker 4: long illegal gambling investigation. Oh sorry, part of multiple year
- 31:12Speaker 4: long legal gambling investigation.
- 31:15Speaker 2: Thirty thirty Who are going to hear? Whose name we
- 31:19Speaker 2: are going to hear? I'm excited about it? Gee, that's
- 31:25Speaker 2: kind of okay. I guess that'd be.
- 31:28Speaker 6: I'm not excited, like happy for anybody or happy to anybody,
- 31:31Speaker 6: but like you know, sports reality television, there's things happening guys,
- 31:36Speaker 6: nice jojo. I don't want to be like Super eight
- 31:42Speaker 6: D or Squirrel see you're here. But like y'all seen
- 31:44Speaker 6: the two lane uniforms. Yes, those helmets are nasty any
- 31:51Speaker 6: good way Like that they are awesome.
- 31:55Speaker 2: Yeah. Great. They looked like the city, the street, the white.
- 32:00Speaker 6: And blue toles. Yeah, the white blue. Yeah, I was
- 32:03Speaker 6: trying to look for the word. They're streets street signs.
- 32:05Speaker 2: Yeah, Mardy girl beads also on the helmet. You love that.
- 32:08Speaker 4: A great job, well done. Two Lane stays winning in
- 32:11Speaker 4: the uniform game.
- 32:12Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 32:12Speaker 6: They do the great Jersey uniform matchup this week too.
- 32:17Speaker 6: The playing organ, Organ's unveiling Oregon, the the the Grateful Dead,
- 32:23Speaker 6: the Grateful Dead. We had the guy that works, We
- 32:26Speaker 6: had the guys.
- 32:26Speaker 4: Okay, so one of the one of the members they
- 32:28Speaker 4: play Aunton Stadium all the time. Someone in the band
- 32:32Speaker 4: Oregon fan and like they they are always playing in
- 32:36Speaker 4: aus and like they that was like they've played it
- 32:38Speaker 4: like ten times or.
- 32:39Speaker 2: Something crazy like that.
- 32:40Speaker 4: We had the guy that designed the uniforms and the
- 32:44Speaker 4: lead historian for the band on yesterday on off campus.
- 32:47Speaker 2: Oh nice talk about the unifor right? Cool? So tell
- 32:49Speaker 2: me about the uniform.
- 32:50Speaker 6: I know we I think everyone around here has probably
- 32:53Speaker 6: seen the two Lane, but I hadn't.
- 32:55Speaker 2: I looked up the organ.
- 32:56Speaker 6: I couldn't really see like what was actually Grateful Dead
- 32:58Speaker 6: inspired on it.
- 32:59Speaker 4: It's so like the the the numbers are the tied
- 33:03Speaker 4: I instead of the dancing bears, they have the dancing
- 33:06Speaker 4: ducks on the back of the helmet.
- 33:09Speaker 2: Yes, there's a lot.
- 33:10Speaker 4: I mean it's a long list of like then like
- 33:11Speaker 4: little minor details in the jerseys as well. So yeah,
- 33:15Speaker 4: they have a history, like with Oregon and Oregon football.
- 33:18Speaker 4: So that's why it's not random cool, but that's why
- 33:20Speaker 4: they did it, so you know, no more dead and
- 33:25Speaker 4: co like situation like where they got together after obviously
- 33:29Speaker 4: like some of the members unfortunately passed away, but very cool,
- 33:32Speaker 4: very cool Neil Organ's doing.
- 33:34Speaker 2: Yep. Yeah, I like I think it.
- 33:35Speaker 6: I think those matchups are always fine because you know,
- 33:38Speaker 6: like before the season, equipment managers got together and they're like, hey,
- 33:42Speaker 6: we know we both kind of like to do some
- 33:44Speaker 6: cool things our uniforms. Let's do something kind of you
- 33:47Speaker 6: know together during the same game.
- 33:49Speaker 2: Let's let's have.
- 33:49Speaker 6: A little cool let's see you can make the coolest
- 33:52Speaker 6: uniform for this one. And I like the helmet, the
- 33:55Speaker 6: two lane helmet's awesome. Two lane helmet is very very cool.
- 33:59Speaker 4: Two lane opportunity to continue winning and if they do,
- 34:04Speaker 4: I feel like the American champ is going to be
- 34:06Speaker 4: that top rated G six team and going to have
- 34:09Speaker 4: an outstanding, outstanding chance to make it to the college
- 34:13Speaker 4: football playoff, which is cool, Like that has to be
- 34:15Speaker 4: like for them to for those schools that have never
- 34:17Speaker 4: really had the access and I know we had it
- 34:19Speaker 4: a year ago, but to have that access to know
- 34:22Speaker 4: when you start a season, if we take care of
- 34:24Speaker 4: our business, you know we can make it to a
- 34:27Speaker 4: college football playoff.
- 34:28Speaker 2: So that's big, big news.
- 34:31Speaker 6: Yeah, you always want to go to be fighting for
- 34:33Speaker 6: and when it's a playoff, it's even better.
- 34:35Speaker 2: Playoff playoffs. Hmmm. So let me ask you this.
- 34:44Speaker 6: I know we're going to do a lot of ours
- 34:46Speaker 6: Tomorrow's you know, football Friday, a lot of score predictions,
- 34:51Speaker 6: LSU home underdog. I don't know if it's the first
- 34:55Speaker 6: time since win. It seems like it should be first
- 34:58Speaker 6: time in a while, but maybe it's not.
- 34:59Speaker 2: Maybe last Yeargan's Alabama.
- 35:01Speaker 6: You were, Yeah, do you think that you know, we
- 35:05Speaker 6: know the changes that kind of need to be man,
- 35:06Speaker 6: we know that l She's gonna have to play their
- 35:08Speaker 6: absolute best, most complete game all season to have an
- 35:12Speaker 6: opportunity to win this game. Now, we did lay out yesterday.
- 35:15Speaker 6: You know, Texas A and M rightfully so ranked in
- 35:18Speaker 6: the top five. Really good team. They've made the plays
- 35:21Speaker 6: to win games throughout the season. They Marcel made a
- 35:24Speaker 6: great play at the end of the Notre Dame game
- 35:26Speaker 6: that was clearly their best win of the season.
- 35:28Speaker 2: Yeah, but their schedule.
- 35:32Speaker 6: Has not been the toughest out there, right right, Their
- 35:35Speaker 6: schedule has not been They've played UTSA, They've played Utah State,
- 35:40Speaker 6: They've played Auburn, They've played Mississippi State, they played Florida,
- 35:43Speaker 6: who is struggling.
- 35:44Speaker 2: They've played Arkansas. Notre Dame is the only ranked opponent
- 35:48Speaker 2: that they have faced this season.
- 35:53Speaker 6: Do you think that plays I mean, do you think
- 35:57Speaker 6: that A and M is as good as number three
- 36:00Speaker 6: in the country or is it a lot have to
- 36:02Speaker 6: do with their strength to schedule.
- 36:04Speaker 2: I do think it's a combination of both.
- 36:07Speaker 4: I think they definitely are one of the better teams
- 36:09Speaker 4: in the country. I think they've improved a lot of
- 36:11Speaker 4: the things that have kind of given them trouble in
- 36:13Speaker 4: the past. I think they're getting more productive play from
- 36:15Speaker 4: the receiver position. I think their quarterback is better. Is
- 36:19Speaker 4: he as accurate as they want him to be? Probably
- 36:21Speaker 4: not but he's better. He's continuing to develop. They've always
- 36:24Speaker 4: had a strong running game. I think the receivers are
- 36:26Speaker 4: much better than they've had, so I do think it's
- 36:29Speaker 4: a little bit different for A and M. I think
- 36:30Speaker 4: they're a better team than they have been. It's not
- 36:32Speaker 4: just hype. But you know, yeah, like you said, I
- 36:35Speaker 4: mean some of the teams are beating up on like.
- 36:38Speaker 6: I don't remember, like because when we start talking about
- 36:41Speaker 6: different games, different end of those games, I go, I'm
- 36:43Speaker 6: on an end and I'm looking. I usually just look
- 36:45Speaker 6: at their schedule. And if we're talking to just some
- 36:47Speaker 6: like random teams. We talked about Oklahoma game, well pull
- 36:50Speaker 6: up the Oklahoma just see their record, see their opponents,
- 36:52Speaker 6: any comment opponents. I don't remember anybody that I can
- 36:55Speaker 6: look at who had the schedule up to this point,
- 36:57Speaker 6: with this many games, seven games into the season that
- 37:00Speaker 6: only has one ranked opponent, especially when you're talking about
- 37:04Speaker 6: a team or a school like Texas.
- 37:05Speaker 2: A and M.
- 37:06Speaker 6: Not no fault of their own. Of course, it's not
- 37:08Speaker 6: their fault that Florida's not very good this year.
- 37:10Speaker 4: Yeah, A scheduled Notre Dame out of conference.
- 37:13Speaker 6: Hey yeah, yeah, cutaz to them. Cudaz of them in
- 37:15Speaker 6: Notre Dame the least cowardly thing you've done in a while.
- 37:19Speaker 2: So I don't know.
- 37:20Speaker 6: I just look at it as thinking, you know, a
- 37:22Speaker 6: potential spot where A and M, of course is good.
- 37:25Speaker 6: I don't want to take I don't I'm not saying
- 37:27Speaker 6: anything like that. But are they as good as they
- 37:30Speaker 6: feel right now? Based on their strength to schedule?
- 37:33Speaker 4: I would say, like, I'll give them a lot of respect.
- 37:35Speaker 4: I think it's closer to them being the real deal
- 37:38Speaker 4: that it's not. But they have, you know, against teams
- 37:43Speaker 4: that you would think like based off where they're at,
- 37:46Speaker 4: they would run away from. I wouldn't say that they've
- 37:48Speaker 4: done that, And so like that's gonna be Lshu's challenges
- 37:51Speaker 4: staying right there in that pocket, staying with an opportunity,
- 37:54Speaker 4: stay within striking distance, and then go make the place
- 37:56Speaker 4: because look, is Lsu where.
- 37:58Speaker 2: We want them to be? Absolutely not.
- 38:01Speaker 4: I wouldn't even say they're close to where we want
- 38:03Speaker 4: them to be what the expectation was, But they do
- 38:07Speaker 4: have in places the Jimmies and Joe's to absolutely go
- 38:11Speaker 4: win this game absolutely, And this isn't one where it's
- 38:14Speaker 4: like when you go on the road to Florida in
- 38:16Speaker 4: twenty twenty and you're a three touchdown at all.
- 38:18Speaker 6: There's been a lot of doom and gloom this year.
- 38:20Speaker 6: That's the that's the nature of the beast. That's the
- 38:22Speaker 6: reality of when you lose a game you feel that
- 38:25Speaker 6: you should have won. You lose a game of historic fashion,
- 38:28Speaker 6: just not because of the team you played, the quality,
- 38:30Speaker 6: but the school that you played in the history behind
- 38:33Speaker 6: all that. It's doom and gloom when you're not performing
- 38:35Speaker 6: the way the expectations were set from a fan base standpoint,
- 38:38Speaker 6: but certainly from the team stand they weren't bashful about
- 38:41Speaker 6: setting their expectations before the season. So when it's not
- 38:44Speaker 6: going the way, it's a lot of doom and gloom. Yeah,
- 38:46Speaker 6: but it doesn't take the talent away, the potential there
- 38:49Speaker 6: if they get things cleaned up. I'm just saying I'm
- 38:52Speaker 6: looking at the strength of schedule for a and m
- 38:54Speaker 6: saying I'm trying to find like the positives in the
- 38:57Speaker 6: matchup this week. If you look at the schedule, you
- 38:59Speaker 6: said nonumber three versus the team that an LSU team
- 39:02Speaker 6: that has struggled, and then you say them at home
- 39:04Speaker 6: and they're only a two and a half point favorite.
- 39:07Speaker 6: I think there's some there's some stuff there too, like
- 39:10Speaker 6: that this game is winnable for LSU one thousand percent.
- 39:13Speaker 6: But they got to play their cleanest game. They have
- 39:15Speaker 6: that their best game plan, and you got to have
- 39:18Speaker 6: an attitude. This is an attitude game. This is an
- 39:20Speaker 6: attitude check for this LSU team.
- 39:23Speaker 4: And look, and your hope is that the coaches went
- 39:25Speaker 4: in there, the players went in there as much as
- 39:27Speaker 4: they could. They shut the doors, they locked it behind them,
- 39:29Speaker 4: and they said, we're going.
- 39:30Speaker 2: To figure it out.
- 39:31Speaker 4: We're going to figure out to the best of our
- 39:33Speaker 4: ability within the timeframe that we are given here. We're
- 39:35Speaker 4: going to do some of the things that we have
- 39:37Speaker 4: not gotten to yet, stuff that we know, stuff that's installed,
- 39:40Speaker 4: and we are going to have our best game plan,
- 39:43Speaker 4: our best opening tribe, our best whatever for this game.
- 39:47Speaker 4: Because you know, your back's firmly against the wall. There's
- 39:49Speaker 4: no space right your back is touching every bit of
- 39:53Speaker 4: the wall right now. And if you lose, then it's
- 39:55Speaker 4: a disappointing season, cause it's trending that way right now.
- 39:58Speaker 4: You're on the very edge to this disappointment. And if
- 40:01Speaker 4: you lose this game, you're gonna fall off the backs
- 40:03Speaker 4: against the wall.
- 40:04Speaker 2: What are you gonna do?
- 40:04Speaker 6: And to to kind of our point we're talking about here, schedule,
- 40:07Speaker 6: Landra just texted us and said, A and M currently
- 40:09Speaker 6: sixteenth in the SEC and strength to schedules.
- 40:12Speaker 4: Shoot, that's sixteenth in the country. Is sixteenth in the
- 40:14Speaker 4: SEC and the country. Good question, I assume in the country. Hm,
- 40:23Speaker 4: I surprised you. That's Adam only in one ranked team.
- 40:26Speaker 2: That's shocking to me. I don't believe it.
- 40:28Speaker 4: Well, you know, not to Dame. They always get you
- 40:30Speaker 4: get triple points for paying.
- 40:31Speaker 2: Oh yeah, no to Dame. It's just that we all
- 40:34Speaker 2: know that. Oh yeah, all right, we.
- 40:38Speaker 4: Will step away, we'll wrap it up when we come
- 40:40Speaker 4: back here.

- 43:25Speaker 4: Maybe sideburns, right, Yeah, let's see, I don't know, man.
- 43:28Speaker 4: I used to rock some some pretty sick sideburns in college.
- 43:32Speaker 2: Wasn't that big of a deal.
- 43:36Speaker 6: Chops facial hairstyle characterized by long sideburns, Oh got them
- 43:43Speaker 6: belong the john and can connect to a mustache.
- 43:45Speaker 2: Okay, all right, that's.
- 43:47Speaker 6: Leaving the chin and neck shaved, so I eat. The
- 43:52Speaker 6: beard's gotta come from the sideburns, connect to the mustache
- 43:56Speaker 6: and the chin.
- 43:57Speaker 2: Neck.
- 43:57Speaker 4: Yeah, I'm not a big fan of like cleaning the
- 44:01Speaker 4: neck up.
- 44:02Speaker 2: I like to just let it. Yeah, I don't. I don't.
- 44:05Speaker 4: That's just you know, it kind of I don't know
- 44:08Speaker 4: the whole point of having a beard's like to just
- 44:10Speaker 4: kind of, you.
- 44:10Speaker 2: Know, let go and let God.
- 44:12Speaker 4: And you feel like if you clean it up a
- 44:13Speaker 4: little bit, it's like, you know, you're just trying a
- 44:15Speaker 4: little too hard, you know. I mean, like it kind
- 44:17Speaker 4: of look you got tornado bruin on the side your neck.
- 44:19Speaker 2: And yeah, it kind of like connect connect hair a
- 44:21Speaker 2: little bit.
- 44:22Speaker 4: Cleaning that up. It's different than like when you get
- 44:24Speaker 4: like the straight line.
- 44:26Speaker 2: I just you would.
- 44:29Speaker 6: The shoe fits, you know, ye kind of kind of
- 44:32Speaker 6: something you clean up just right kind of hides the
- 44:33Speaker 6: double chin a little bit.
- 44:35Speaker 2: See, I think, But if you don't, it just highlights
- 44:39Speaker 2: the double chin. If you don't, what if you just
- 44:43Speaker 2: let it, let go and let god so chops.
- 44:50Speaker 4: All right, we do have some games tonight.
- 44:55Speaker 2: You have one game.
- 44:55Speaker 4: You have South Alabama Georgia State. You know, combined record
- 44:59Speaker 4: of those teams two and twelve.
- 45:01Speaker 2: Ask the bench, what's the worst style of facial hair? Worst?
- 45:08Speaker 1: Uh?
- 45:09Speaker 2: I agree? Actually I don't.
- 45:10Speaker 4: I do not like the trim like the next the neckline.
- 45:14Speaker 6: I don't like that. I just like, uh yeah, beer
- 45:18Speaker 6: that question. They voted fifteen second. They voted for that,
- 45:21Speaker 6: just strictly the one the sole patch.
- 45:24Speaker 2: So the soul patch by itself. Look, that's all I
- 45:27Speaker 2: could have in high school. I've been there.
- 45:28Speaker 4: Before, the thin the very thin beard, like the half
- 45:35Speaker 4: real real bad. All right, we thank you, we love
- 45:39Speaker 4: you all. Go Tigers, Saints, go Chargers, bolt up off
- 45:44Speaker 4: the bench. Look, I wanna say, go Pack go. I
- 45:49Speaker 4: just ran out of times say bolt up, Saints. Bro
- 45:53Speaker 4: I said, go Saints. First, I said, go Pack, Go
- 45:56Speaker 4: go to Rouses Russell dot com.
- 45:59Speaker 2: Or go there there tomorrow we'll be there.
