- 0:04Speaker 2: On air, it is time to leave your worries outside
- 0:32Speaker 2: and laugh with us inside the Treehouse. I'm Daniel Maley
- 0:36Speaker 2: along with Trade Trendholme, Raj Sharma and Jerry called well,
- 0:40Speaker 2: thank you for being with us today. It's gonna get weird.
- 0:46Speaker 2: I need everyone's attention right here. Let's focus in. This
- 0:51Speaker 2: is a true story, and true stories that are this
- 0:55Speaker 2: stupid and ridiculous always go to the top of the treehouse.
- 1:00Speaker 2: A man named Pancake battered his elderly father. Good thing
- 1:07Speaker 2: you didn't name him Bukaki.
- 1:12Speaker 3: Then he would have splattered his father.
- 1:17Speaker 4: Oh.
- 1:18Speaker 2: In a story that doesn't seem to mention the state,
- 1:20Speaker 2: but let's see if we can guess it, a man
- 1:23Speaker 2: named Pancake battered his elderly father, leaving the victim with
- 1:27Speaker 2: severe bruises and swelling to his eyes and face. That's
- 1:30Speaker 2: according to police who arrested the alleged assailant on a
- 1:33Speaker 2: fellow new charge. Investigators say that Eric Thomas Pancake, thirty eight,
- 1:37Speaker 2: pummeled his seventy two year old parent during a family
- 1:40Speaker 2: dispute Tuesday, evening in the Palm City home owned by
- 1:44Speaker 2: the victim and his sixty six year old spouse, Pancake,
- 1:48Speaker 2: who apparently resides with his parents, struck his father on
- 1:52Speaker 2: the face and body.
- 1:54Speaker 4: Police arrived.
- 1:55Speaker 2: The victim had severe bruises and swelling to his eyes
- 1:56Speaker 2: and face, consistent with multiple strikes, as he described, also
- 2:02Speaker 2: also known as being flipped a few times. Unsurprisingly, camp
- 2:07Speaker 2: the police reported Pancake appeared intoxicated and belligerent and said
- 2:12Speaker 2: he pleads the fifth in response to law enforcement questions,
- 2:15Speaker 2: though he did turn around and place his hands behind
- 2:17Speaker 2: his back for the officers.
- 2:24Speaker 4: It's easy.
- 2:25Speaker 2: In case you're curious, this qualifies as a felony the
- 2:30Speaker 2: abuse of a person over the age of sixty five.
- 2:34Speaker 5: I'm sure his dad is older than her. Crape really.
- 2:44Speaker 4: Mm hmmm.
- 2:46Speaker 2: I thought you're about he's in I thought you're about
- 2:48Speaker 2: to say he's in creepe shape.
- 2:54Speaker 3: A lot of sausage in prisons.
- 2:58Speaker 4: Maybe with a name like that, you're old, was gonna
- 3:00Speaker 4: run the whisk.
- 3:02Speaker 2: Oh God, even though I'm at home, Even though I'm
- 3:07Speaker 2: at home, I want to go home more. I will
- 3:12Speaker 2: say I never put the two together on my own,
- 3:16Speaker 2: but the sausage in the pancake combo is tasty.
- 3:22Speaker 5: Yeah, a little pig in the blanket.
- 3:27Speaker 4: Rolling out for me, put it in my mouth anyway.
- 3:32Speaker 1: It's either that or he's gonna be the realty tooty,
- 3:35Speaker 1: fresh and fruity.
- 3:39Speaker 2: No, no, Trey, he's gonna meet someone he's the Grand Slam. Yes,
- 3:45Speaker 2: he's going to meet someone in prison named Syrup.
- 3:52Speaker 4: That is a hard prison name.
- 3:54Speaker 5: All right.
- 3:54Speaker 2: I think that's enough breakfast sex puns for it for today.
- 3:58Speaker 2: I was just excited to see that headline, pancake battered
- 4:02Speaker 2: elderly father. I mean, I feel bad for the father,
- 4:05Speaker 2: but ultimately it's it's a win for newspeople everywhere.
- 4:09Speaker 3: This is Palm City, So I'm guessing Florida.
- 4:12Speaker 4: Yeah, that's that's the assumption.
- 4:13Speaker 2: Yeah, and you know what, and maybe and this is
- 4:16Speaker 2: from the Smoking Gun. Maybe the Smoking Gun realized based
- 4:19Speaker 2: on the content, the headline, the low the city name.
- 4:22Speaker 2: They said, you know what, we don't even need to
- 4:24Speaker 2: put the state in here. Everyone already knows it's Florida,
- 4:27Speaker 2: So why waste this space?
- 4:30Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 4:32Speaker 1: And it is Florida trying to because usually the stories
- 4:36Speaker 1: pop up. Is there a an effort amongst Florida new
- 4:42Speaker 1: stations to make the state look less stupid and not
- 4:46Speaker 1: cover these stories. And so the Smoking Gun is gonna
- 4:49Speaker 1: have to step in and do the serious journalism necessary
- 4:54Speaker 1: to h.
- 4:55Speaker 5: To expose the Sunshine State for all that it is.
- 5:00Speaker 2: A light on the sunshine day, the report report, the
- 5:03Speaker 2: news that the mainstream media refuses to because who's put
- 5:07Speaker 2: the tourism industry trying to lie to people about going
- 5:10Speaker 2: to Florida and what they can expect when they get there.
- 5:13Speaker 6: Can you imagine being like one of the newscasters, like
- 5:16Speaker 6: that's that comes across your desk.
- 5:18Speaker 5: You're trying to be.
- 5:25Speaker 2: Yeah, who's punking me? This can't be real? That's that
- 5:28Speaker 2: would be my assumption in Florida. You gotta yeah, that's
- 5:31Speaker 2: a Tuesday. Yeah, it actually is a Tuesday. Happened on
- 5:36Speaker 2: Tuesday night.
- 5:41Speaker 1: I don't Florida need to embrace embrace the stupid.
- 5:46Speaker 5: No, It's like there there was a blog a long
- 5:49Speaker 5: time ago.
- 5:49Speaker 1: I think it was called Florida the uh Born, and.
- 5:56Speaker 5: They need to lean into it.
- 5:58Speaker 1: Like they closed the then Alligator at the Tress.
- 6:03Speaker 5: They need to stock that with Florida.
- 6:05Speaker 1: Man, just let them let them run in their natural habitat,
- 6:08Speaker 1: and I mean have tours.
- 6:10Speaker 2: You want a reservation in Florida for Florida men, Yes.
- 6:16Speaker 5: I'm for it.
- 6:18Speaker 2: Yeah, broadcasts twenty four seven. It would be the most
- 6:21Speaker 2: popular channel on the planet.
- 6:23Speaker 1: I mean for those who are timid, you can have
- 6:26Speaker 1: like TNZ can get their little buses like they have
- 6:28Speaker 1: in Hollywood and they just you know, go along. And
- 6:31Speaker 1: then for those who are really bright, you can get
- 6:33Speaker 1: in like one of those airboats.
- 6:37Speaker 6: Well, but what do you feed Florida besides maths?
- 6:43Speaker 5: I mean that's the beauty of it.
- 6:44Speaker 1: It's in a swamp, there's alligators, there's snakes they can
- 6:47Speaker 1: find for themselves.
- 6:49Speaker 2: It's it's a self sustaining ecosystem. It's kind of like
- 6:53Speaker 2: Jurassic Park, but Florida man. Yeah, And somewhere Jeff gold
- 6:58Speaker 2: Bloom will show up next to a bit pilot ship
- 7:01Speaker 2: and as Florida men start going from Paddock to Patrick,
- 7:05Speaker 2: as they go over and through the electrified facing system. Uh,
- 7:09Speaker 2: your scientists were so preoccupied with whether or not they
- 7:12Speaker 2: could they never stopped that ask themselves.
- 7:18Speaker 4: I mean, must go faster.
- 7:21Speaker 1: There's the show. There's the show out of Louisiana called
- 7:24Speaker 1: swamp people. M hm, you know all the people that
- 7:27Speaker 1: do alligator honey, I mean Florida stupid people.
- 7:32Speaker 3: I mean, uh is Louisiana.
- 7:35Speaker 6: And it has subtitles.
- 7:38Speaker 2: It's necessary.
- 7:43Speaker 5: Troy Land Troy Landry. Uh. He talks fast. You cannot
- 7:48Speaker 5: understand him.
- 7:49Speaker 3: So you watched the show.
- 7:50Speaker 1: I have watched the show. I find it absolutely fast, mesizing.
- 7:54Speaker 4: Look at the swamp people. Yeah, I'm man Tree.
- 7:56Speaker 2: I went that's the Florida whatever you call it, the
- 7:58Speaker 2: Florida Man Show on a preserve. Yeah, I'd watch that.
- 8:02Speaker 2: I'd watch that hard with Do you want to rephrase that?
- 8:10Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 8:11Speaker 4: Not really, pretty much said it exactly how I wanted to.
- 8:20Speaker 3: That's called.
- 8:29Speaker 7: You're listening to the Treehouse. Visit us online at Treehouse
- 8:33Speaker 7: on air dot com.
- 8:35Speaker 2: The only thing better would be would be if we
- 8:37Speaker 2: found out Pancake worked at waffle house. Timed owt to
- 8:43Speaker 2: talk to Daniel Cook from Cook df W Roofing and
- 8:46Speaker 2: Restoration eight three three Cook df W to get your
- 8:49Speaker 2: free roof inspection scheduled.
- 8:52Speaker 5: Daniel.
- 8:52Speaker 2: One of the big services that you help people with
- 8:55Speaker 2: when it comes to doing the roof or other projects
- 8:58Speaker 2: around the home is helping them what they're insurance. Because
- 9:01Speaker 2: I don't really know much about the insurance process, but
- 9:04Speaker 2: you and your people work with it every single.
- 9:07Speaker 5: Day, Dan, We actually do.
- 9:09Speaker 8: We probably work honestly, hundreds and hundreds of claims a year,
- 9:13Speaker 8: and as a contractor, we definitely want to the construction
- 9:18Speaker 8: side of the insurance claim to the clients. We will explain,
- 9:23Speaker 8: you know, what the insurance has given them to rebuild
- 9:27Speaker 8: their home and to put it back to pre storm
- 9:30Speaker 8: condition or whatever event occurred that caused harm to their home.
- 9:34Speaker 8: And so you definitely need somebody on your side. These
- 9:38Speaker 8: estimates are confusing, they are sometimes very time consuming to understand.
- 9:43Speaker 8: Sometimes the pricing may not line up with what the
- 9:46Speaker 8: true market value of the items are. And so that's
- 9:50Speaker 8: when having a dependable contractor on your side that can
- 9:52Speaker 8: walk you through make sure you'll still get the repairs
- 9:55Speaker 8: done properly and not just as cheap and fast as
- 10:00Speaker 8: some people might you know, think that they need. But
- 10:03Speaker 8: you know somebody that really wants to make sure your
- 10:05Speaker 8: home is in better shape than what it was before
- 10:07Speaker 8: and that truly wants to see you get taken care of.
- 10:10Speaker 8: So yeah, that insurance stuff is very scary.
- 10:14Speaker 5: I highly urge everybody. We talked about this all the time.
- 10:16Speaker 8: Make sure you have a great relationship with whoever your
- 10:18Speaker 8: insurance is is is with because they need to talk
- 10:22Speaker 8: to you about all the policies and all the coverages
- 10:24Speaker 8: that you have to go. That's something a lot of
- 10:26Speaker 8: people do not know and that can really be scary
- 10:29Speaker 8: at the time that you need it.
- 10:30Speaker 2: A three three cook DFW two experience how cook DFW

- 11:25Speaker 2: today eight three three cook DFW or the website cookdfw
- 11:30Speaker 2: dot com. Speaking of baby names or just adult names,
- 11:37Speaker 2: you know, pancake. But speaking of names, I know it's
- 11:41Speaker 2: not fair. Some might even say it's wrong, but we're
- 11:45Speaker 2: going to stereotype some babies today. In her now viral
- 11:50Speaker 2: TikTok video, twenty two year old Kayley from Central Texas
- 11:54Speaker 2: revealed she and her husband chose the name for their
- 11:57Speaker 2: unborn daughter, lou Casey Lynn. Yes, this is a nod
- 12:05Speaker 2: to the famous lu Casey Boots. They apparently played an
- 12:10Speaker 2: instrumental role in young Kayley's life, and so she decided
- 12:14Speaker 2: to give a special nod to the lu Casey Boots
- 12:19Speaker 2: by naming her and her husband's onboard child.
- 12:23Speaker 4: Lu Casey Lynn.
- 12:24Speaker 2: Gets spelled a little bit differently than lu Casey Boot brand,
- 12:28Speaker 2: but it still sounds.
- 12:29Speaker 4: The same fringingy trademarks.
- 12:32Speaker 2: No no, no, because they might they might actually say, no,
- 12:34Speaker 2: you can't do that. Lu Casey Lynn thirty five weeks
- 12:41Speaker 2: is so far along. So lu Casey Lynn is expected
- 12:44Speaker 2: in Central Texas.
- 12:47Speaker 4: She said.
- 12:48Speaker 2: The second I shared it on TikTok, people started weighing
- 12:50Speaker 2: in commenting on the name, she said. Even among family,
- 12:54Speaker 2: feedback to the name was mixed. She says, it's it's
- 13:00Speaker 2: the most special name to us. So excited for our
- 13:03Speaker 2: girl lou Casey Lynne to be here, I'm going to
- 13:09Speaker 2: say it for us because I know Raj is drooling. Yes,
- 13:11Speaker 2: this is a definite white people baby named trend, while
- 13:15Speaker 2: keeping in mind, black families have also contributed some colorful
- 13:19Speaker 2: names for children. I see you you know Shiquanico and
- 13:24Speaker 2: Moshniqua Shemaiathon. But I'm fascinated by the fact that other
- 13:32Speaker 2: cultures don't seem to have this affliction the way that
- 13:35Speaker 2: the white people do when it comes to naming things,
- 13:38Speaker 2: because like in the Hispanic culture, don't really see completely
- 13:43Speaker 2: weird or randomly made up names. I don't see this
- 13:48Speaker 2: or hear of it really in the Asian or South
- 13:50Speaker 2: Asian cultures. Raj being Indian, is there some sort of
- 13:54Speaker 2: trend among Indians to just start naming weird things around
- 13:58Speaker 2: the house for children?
- 14:00Speaker 4: Mm hmm okay.
- 14:02Speaker 6: Usually uh, like family names or names out of like
- 14:08Speaker 6: religious texts is what we do.
- 14:11Speaker 4: Mm hm.
- 14:12Speaker 2: And that's still somewhat common among the whites, But there
- 14:16Speaker 2: is a growing trend of alternate names.
- 14:20Speaker 4: What is it tree?
- 14:21Speaker 1: Yeah, I feel like it's something uniquely American that for
- 14:24Speaker 1: some reason traditional names. You know, they want they think
- 14:29Speaker 1: giving their kid a name that's gonna stand out is
- 14:31Speaker 1: going to be the right thing to do.
- 14:34Speaker 2: Yeah, but in some of these cases, they don't seem
- 14:36Speaker 2: to be standing out in the way that they should
- 14:38Speaker 2: because like some of these, like you mentioned, it's sort
- 14:40Speaker 2: of an American thing. Some of these girl baby name
- 14:43Speaker 2: trends seem to be centered on, you know, twenty something
- 14:46Speaker 2: white women throwing an ee an I E and e
- 14:50Speaker 2: I g h or Lynn on the end of things.
- 14:54Speaker 2: They just see around the house Brown Lee, Charman Lee Lynn,
- 14:59Speaker 2: Boraxe Lynn, and don't forget lamp Linn and couch Lee.
- 15:04Speaker 2: I can't wait to see those names on a PSL
- 15:06Speaker 2: at Starbucks. And then the boy names aren't exactly much better.
- 15:11Speaker 2: All that is is going down the alphabet, just rhyming Aiden,
- 15:15Speaker 2: so Aiden, Braiden, Cayden, Dayden, et, cetera.
- 15:20Speaker 6: Yeah, I just I met a loss lou Casey.
- 15:28Speaker 3: That's also the name of a crime family.
- 15:30Speaker 5: So it's.
- 15:32Speaker 3: Lu Casey's are also a crime family.
- 15:34Speaker 4: So I never thought about that.
- 15:36Speaker 2: I didn't make that connection being so text and I
- 15:38Speaker 2: forgot about the lou Casey crime family. I just hear
- 15:41Speaker 2: lu Casey and only think about the boots. Yeah, and
- 15:45Speaker 2: you know what, it's not like it's a it's a
- 15:46Speaker 2: bad brand. It's a good brand, best boots made.
- 15:51Speaker 5: There the Rolls Royce of boots.
- 15:53Speaker 4: Oh there's another good name for a kid.
- 15:56Speaker 2: Mm hmm, roll boots. Actually my my, my grand my
- 16:03Speaker 2: grandfather's third wife.
- 16:04Speaker 4: Her nickname was Boots. I don't want to know why.
- 16:08Speaker 2: Because he was knocking him, I said, I didn't want
- 16:12Speaker 2: to know why. Roh no, betrays right. I mean this
- 16:16Speaker 2: is it is a It is a good popular brand.
- 16:18Speaker 2: It's one of the highest quality cowboy boots you can purchase.
- 16:21Speaker 2: It's not like they named her little roper Linley.
- 16:25Speaker 4: Big text wears him. Mm hmm. Yeah, did you text?
- 16:32Speaker 6: Did you guys notice that the fair like big Text
- 16:34Speaker 6: looks weird now, Like he's oddly shaped.
- 16:37Speaker 2: Oh he's been oddly shaped for quite a while. But
- 16:40Speaker 2: he's And in defense of Big Texts, a lot of
- 16:43Speaker 2: Texas ramchers look similar. They also have pancake butt like
- 16:49Speaker 2: flat not the guy that beat up his dad.
- 16:51Speaker 4: In Florida full circle moment that it really was.
- 17:00Speaker 2: Uh so, Yeah, the baby name trend is interesting to
- 17:03Speaker 2: say the least. But yeah, I haven't noticed this among
- 17:06Speaker 2: the other cultures, Like you're not getting a Carlos Lynn
- 17:09Speaker 2: Lee or anything like that. They just, you know, it's
- 17:12Speaker 2: just a weird American thing, and I'm fascinated by it,
- 17:15Speaker 2: especially when every year they always come out with the
- 17:17Speaker 2: list of the new cool baby names, and it's always
- 17:22Speaker 2: some sort of mix of rehashed stuff from before. Like
- 17:25Speaker 2: one of the most popular names for years has been Emma.
- 17:30Speaker 2: One of the reasons why Emma gained so much popularity
- 17:35Speaker 2: raj You'll know why, right, because that's white. That's white Jesus, Yes, accidentally, brilliant, Yes,
- 17:47Speaker 2: that was white, and right because that's what Rachel and
- 17:51Speaker 2: Ross named their daughter on Friends, Emma. And that name
- 17:54Speaker 2: really wasn't on anyone's radar before that. All of a sudden, though,
- 17:57Speaker 2: when they named their kid that Emma exploded in popularity
- 18:00Speaker 2: and that name is still very popular today.
- 18:04Speaker 4: Trey's got something.
- 18:05Speaker 5: I mean.
- 18:06Speaker 1: I have the trending and unique baby names for twenty
- 18:08Speaker 1: twenty five.
- 18:11Speaker 4: For okay, for girls, Okay.
- 18:14Speaker 5: Any any guesses anyone? Anyone?
- 18:16Speaker 4: Uh Emma? Nope, damn it.
- 18:22Speaker 1: Now okay popular baby names, Yes, Emma is on there.
- 18:28Speaker 1: These are these are unique baby names.
- 18:30Speaker 2: Oh, trending, trending, and unique.
- 18:34Speaker 4: Paktula, no I Pod Steve Hawkins.
- 18:44Speaker 2: So that may actually be too real, because that's another
- 18:47Speaker 2: That's another trend among the baby names is taking town
- 18:50Speaker 2: names or surnames and making them first names.
- 18:55Speaker 1: Here are the popular baby names for twenty twenty five. Okay,
- 18:59Speaker 1: for girls, Olivia, Amelia, Sophia, Emma, Isabella, Charlotte, Eleana, Ellie, Aurora, Mia.

- 19:44Speaker 6: many better than Ezra jokes that happen there.
- 19:47Speaker 4: I was already formulating one.

- 21:38Speaker 3: Uh Rowan No, that's good name Kai.
- 21:43Speaker 2: Mm hmm Ezra because because the old would just be

- 22:08Speaker 6: Malachai Henry.
- 22:11Speaker 3: Just for me and just tell me how much he
- 22:14Speaker 3: gets his ask in the school.
- 22:17Speaker 2: Actually, if if Trey was to name his kid Malachi Henry.
- 22:23Speaker 4: That's gonna be the toughest kid in the state.
- 22:25Speaker 2: He's gonna he's gonna be so tough by the time
- 22:27Speaker 2: he gets to seventh grade, before he's even playing organized
- 22:32Speaker 2: like school football, he will have scholarship offers. That's how
- 22:35Speaker 2: tough he's gonna be. One because he's Trey's kid. Two
- 22:38Speaker 2: because it's Trey's dad's grandchild. And number three, you got
- 22:43Speaker 2: a name like that, you're gonna learn to fight early
- 22:46Speaker 2: and often.
- 22:47Speaker 6: Yeah, that's what I'm saying, Like you have no choice,
- 22:51Speaker 6: Like you have no choice, but like Malachi Trenholm, like
- 22:54Speaker 6: you only have two choices in life, like you're gonna
- 22:57Speaker 6: be a star athlete or you're gonna own a Dodge dealership.
- 22:59Speaker 3: Like that's that's it.
- 23:02Speaker 1: Spironically if it's my kid, and you know, because every
- 23:06Speaker 1: time he does something, it's you know, I'm gonna utter
- 23:09Speaker 1: a phrase like, boy, that was as stupid as your name.
- 23:16Speaker 5: Whack.
- 23:22Speaker 2: It's gonna be awkward though when he reaches the age
- 23:24Speaker 2: of seven and the whack is him kicking you.
- 23:27Speaker 6: I was doing a show not too long ago, and
- 23:28Speaker 6: I actually posted this clip. I met a twenty two
- 23:31Speaker 6: year old and her name was Edith.
- 23:35Speaker 4: Eden or Edith Edith.
- 23:38Speaker 3: Wow.
- 23:39Speaker 2: I guess some of these I guess some of these
- 23:42Speaker 2: old names slash gymstone names are making a comeback.
- 23:48Speaker 6: Yeah, when people start going back to like Opal and Pearl,
- 23:51Speaker 6: we're gonna have.
- 23:54Speaker 3: We're gonna have a problem. It can't look. I can't look.
- 23:57Speaker 3: I couldn't even look at it. I was like, what's
- 23:59Speaker 3: your middle name?
- 24:00Speaker 5: Like Abby?
- 24:01Speaker 3: And I was like, you can go by that, you
- 24:04Speaker 3: don't have to go by Edith.
- 24:08Speaker 1: And eventually they'll come back because everyone wants to give
- 24:11Speaker 1: their baby that unique name.
- 24:14Speaker 5: So I mean, bring on the Wilbers.
- 24:19Speaker 3: That sounds like a really shitty movie.
- 24:24Speaker 5: Even worse porn.

- 25:27Speaker 2: spectacle quite like that.
- 25:29Speaker 4: Good job, Jerry. Uh oh. So there's a few things.
- 25:33Speaker 2: I'm not even sure we're gonna get to all of
- 25:34Speaker 2: it today, but that's the beauty of this show. We'll
- 25:35Speaker 2: do it again and again and again and again. Let's
- 25:38Speaker 2: keep getting to the stuff that we didn't have time for. Luckily,
- 25:40Speaker 2: we did have time, and we already squeezed in pancake
- 25:43Speaker 2: battering his elderly father. We talked about the unique baby
- 25:47Speaker 2: names hitting white culture unexpectedly, the popular and unique names
- 25:54Speaker 2: for twenty twenty five, and one of those names on
- 25:57Speaker 2: there for the most popular tree was Emma right for girls. Yes,
- 26:02Speaker 2: speaking of Emma, or speaking of kids named Emma, there's
- 26:07Speaker 2: a loose tieh in heret's hear me out. Former adult
- 26:11Speaker 2: film star Riley Reid wants all her videos deleted. I
- 26:16Speaker 2: hate to break it to her, but just like the
- 26:18Speaker 2: Epstein Files, they're not going anywhere then how that works?
- 26:26Speaker 2: She said on a podcast in March, retired adult star
- 26:30Speaker 2: Riley Reid made an emotional plea, please stop sharing my
- 26:34Speaker 2: old content. I have a daughter now, Emma, born in
- 26:38Speaker 2: twenty twenty two, and I don't want her to grow
- 26:41Speaker 2: up seeing that version of me. She retired from Boy
- 26:45Speaker 2: Girl scenes in twenty twenty three, married in twenty twenty one,
- 26:48Speaker 2: and has since focused on voice acting in comedy. She said,
- 26:52Speaker 2: I thought I could outrun my past, but the Internet
- 26:55Speaker 2: won't let me. I just want peace for my family.
- 26:59Speaker 2: She's not the only one that feels this way. Her
- 27:01Speaker 2: words echo Atlanta Rhodes fight for digital erasure. I'm also
- 27:07Speaker 2: fascinated by this, so we we can delete our browsing history.
- 27:11Speaker 2: So should there be a delete things I did on
- 27:14Speaker 2: camera for money button?
- 27:17Speaker 6: I just have a question, just mathematically. The daughter was
- 27:21Speaker 6: born in twenty two, and she retired in twenty three. Yes,
- 27:29Speaker 6: so was born and she was still Yeah, she was
- 27:33Speaker 6: still doing it when the kid was born.
- 27:37Speaker 2: Well, now I don't know that for sure. Okay, I
- 27:40Speaker 2: see where you're coming from, and it is possible that
- 27:43Speaker 2: she thought, you know what, I do want to retire
- 27:45Speaker 2: from this business, but I know there's good money to
- 27:47Speaker 2: be had doing prego scenes. So maybe she did that.
- 27:51Speaker 2: I don't know, that's that's not something that is in
- 27:53Speaker 2: my search history.
- 27:55Speaker 5: Or maybe she just.
- 27:58Speaker 1: Had a baby and then officially retired after the baby
- 28:01Speaker 1: was born.
- 28:02Speaker 4: There you go, and there's also that possibility.
- 28:05Speaker 1: But I was having this discussion with somebody the other day.
- 28:10Speaker 1: Of all the generations, gen Z should know the Internet
- 28:15Speaker 1: lives forever, yes, and they seem to be the ones
- 28:20Speaker 1: most stumped.
- 28:22Speaker 5: By that fact.
- 28:24Speaker 2: And it's age blindness. It's exactly what it is. It's
- 28:28Speaker 2: they don't the same mentality we had when we were
- 28:31Speaker 2: that age or even teenagers was and they have it too,
- 28:35Speaker 2: is that you think you're invincible Physically. We think we're invincible.
- 28:39Speaker 2: We didn't have necessarily the same Internet implications that they
- 28:42Speaker 2: do to follow us around. But that's a part of it.
- 28:46Speaker 2: You think you're invincible, not just physically but emotionally, and
- 28:50Speaker 2: you don't realize how immature you are. Even if you
- 28:55Speaker 2: think you're mature, you are still going to make immature decisions.
- 29:00Speaker 2: But with our age group being Gen X, some of
- 29:02Speaker 2: those poor decisions don't follow us the same way that
- 29:05Speaker 2: they follow the millennials, and certainly not to the same
- 29:08Speaker 2: level that it does. Gen Z and even Jen Alpha
- 29:11Speaker 2: is going to be even worse. The only hope Gen
- 29:12Speaker 2: Alpha and behind them has hope for it is that
- 29:15Speaker 2: everyone else has done something so stupid. Everyone else is
- 29:18Speaker 2: going to say I did that too, it's no big deal,
- 29:21Speaker 2: or it's going to be such a crowded space no
- 29:22Speaker 2: one will even see what dumb stuff you did. That
- 29:25Speaker 2: being said, it's a big ask to be a porn star,
- 29:29Speaker 2: and not just any porn star. We're talking about two
- 29:31Speaker 2: of the biggest names of their era, Riley Reid Lander Rhodes,
- 29:35Speaker 2: and they're wanting their stuff for erased.
- 29:38Speaker 4: It's not gonna happen. It's impossible.
- 29:41Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, but it does.
- 29:45Speaker 2: It does go to the fact that you don't when
- 29:47Speaker 2: you're younger, you don't think about the big picture. You
- 29:49Speaker 2: don't think about five, ten, twenty years from now.
- 29:55Speaker 6: To become a porn star of that stature, like, there's
- 29:59Speaker 6: a lot promotion that goes behind that, there's a lot
- 30:01Speaker 6: of publicity that goes behind that, there's a lot of appearances.
- 30:04Speaker 6: So it wasn't like she like I just did it
- 30:07Speaker 6: for the money kind of thing. This was I'm going
- 30:11Speaker 6: to get into this business and I'm going to see
- 30:12Speaker 6: how far I can get and now you're having buyer's remorse,
- 30:17Speaker 6: like that's you got what you wanted and not at all, and.
- 30:22Speaker 1: Probably lives a fairly comfortable life. I mean of her stature.
- 30:26Speaker 1: If she was wise with her money, she's probably.
- 30:29Speaker 5: Set for life.
- 30:31Speaker 3: I know a lot of economically sound porn stars.
- 30:34Speaker 2: Yeah, say what you will, but some are very very smart.
- 30:39Speaker 2: I mean, we mentioned jin And Jamison earlier this week,
- 30:44Speaker 2: and she was one of the ones that started to
- 30:46Speaker 2: break this mold where she became a legit superstar as
- 30:50Speaker 2: an adult film actress. I think she was like one
- 30:52Speaker 2: of the first to get seven figures for a role
- 30:54Speaker 2: or something. But she also was she saw the bigger
- 30:58Speaker 2: picture the way a lot of actors do in mainstream stuff.
- 31:02Speaker 2: You start acting and that's great, but then you realize
- 31:05Speaker 2: if you want longevity, you need to get in on
- 31:08Speaker 2: the production side. You need to get into producing, directing.
- 31:12Speaker 2: Obviously there's not so much the writing stuff when it
- 31:14Speaker 2: comes to the adult world, but I mean, you get
- 31:16Speaker 2: once you get behind the lens, you can you can
- 31:19Speaker 2: you know, elongate your career well.
- 31:22Speaker 1: But she also, like Jenna Jamison, she was brilliant that
- 31:26Speaker 1: she registered and owned Club Jenna, which became one of
- 31:28Speaker 1: the biggest porn sites, and she sold that for a.
- 31:32Speaker 5: Ton of money. Yeah, and now she's found God.
- 31:36Speaker 2: I ash she did. I saw that just you think
- 31:38Speaker 2: it was just yesterday. I saw the headline that she
- 31:40Speaker 2: is now working to save fellow adult actors and bring
- 31:46Speaker 2: them into the.
- 31:47Speaker 4: Fold of Jesus.
- 31:49Speaker 2: Wasn't the fold they initially started out wanting.
- 31:52Speaker 6: But it's still from missionary to missionary.
- 32:00Speaker 4: Look both.
- 32:01Speaker 2: There's an argument to be made that both are the
- 32:04Speaker 2: Lord's work. It's just a different ways. Some would say
- 32:09Speaker 2: there's some things that are impossible to do, but she
- 32:11Speaker 2: did them.
- 32:11Speaker 4: For all we know, it was a divine intervention.
- 32:15Speaker 2: But yeah, that would actually be a fantastic name for
- 32:22Speaker 2: a lube line. Divine intervention.
- 32:30Speaker 5: I like it.
- 32:32Speaker 2: We're all going to hell unless we ask Jenna Jamison
- 32:35Speaker 2: for forgiveness. And that's not brand new either. By the way,
- 32:40Speaker 2: there was she visited. She visited the studio years and
- 32:43Speaker 2: years ago, Trey. I think it was after you had left.
- 32:47Speaker 2: Jamie Presley I think was her name. She was an
- 32:49Speaker 2: adult star. She was pretty popular at the time.
- 32:51Speaker 5: I was still there.
- 32:53Speaker 2: You were there, okay, And I think it was a
- 32:57Speaker 2: matter of weeks after visiting our student she found Jesus.
- 33:01Speaker 2: I don't know if it had anything to do with us,
- 33:03Speaker 2: but I do think we were her last radio and
- 33:06Speaker 2: every before the next news story broke that she was
- 33:08Speaker 2: joining the Triple X church.
- 33:10Speaker 4: Oh my god, is this what I've become.
- 33:15Speaker 2: A lot of people felt like that after being in
- 33:17Speaker 2: a room with Russ.
- 33:18Speaker 1: Well, that interview always stands out to me because, you know,
- 33:27Speaker 1: Russ was shocked that porn stars were at escorts, you know,
- 33:33Speaker 1: when they were visiting towns, and I remember him asking
- 33:36Speaker 1: her about that and she's like, yeah, I'm actually here
- 33:39Speaker 1: to see one of my clients.
- 33:45Speaker 4: And all of us were like yeah, and he's just no.
- 33:49Speaker 2: The whole room is going Yeah.
- 33:53Speaker 6: I sat next to one on a flight, and this
- 33:55Speaker 6: is the how, this is how I found out she
- 33:56Speaker 6: was an escorts.
- 34:00Speaker 3: Yeah, we were just sitting next to each other. She
- 34:02Speaker 3: was sweet.
- 34:02Speaker 6: She It was very early and I got an orange
- 34:06Speaker 6: juice and she got a vodka soda and I was like, oh, okay,
- 34:10Speaker 6: somebody's on vacation. And she reached into her bag and
- 34:13Speaker 6: accidentally knocked it over, and about fifteen to twenty condoms
- 34:18Speaker 6: rolled out up her back and I was like, oh,
- 34:20Speaker 6: and she goes about that and I was like, none
- 34:23Speaker 6: of my business.
- 34:24Speaker 3: You're as so long as you're being safe.
- 34:26Speaker 2: And she's like, unless she's the in flight entertainment. I
- 34:34Speaker 2: was gonna say, I'm making it up, but like it
- 34:36Speaker 2: was spirit. There's no entertainment.
- 34:40Speaker 4: No, just like spirit, you're gonna pay extra for it.
- 34:42Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 34:43Speaker 6: But and she gave me her business card and it
- 34:47Speaker 6: just clearly said escort, and I was like, wow, okay.
- 34:52Speaker 3: She's like, yeah, this guy was from Los Angeles.
- 34:54Speaker 6: She's like, this guy's flying me out to Dallas with
- 34:56Speaker 6: one of the MAVs game tonight and then back to
- 34:59Speaker 6: his place. And I was like, okay, that's if that's
- 35:01Speaker 6: your hustle, beautiful lady. But yeah, and she was in
- 35:06Speaker 6: the adult entertainment industry as well.
- 35:08Speaker 3: Yep, So yeah, yeah, it was.
- 35:11Speaker 4: It was a very common thing.
- 35:12Speaker 2: I don't know how it was, we knew this, but
- 35:15Speaker 2: it was basically they would line up. I mean, it
- 35:18Speaker 2: makes sense if you're going to take a trip someplace,
- 35:21Speaker 2: line up other work while you're there, right, Because if
- 35:23Speaker 2: if you're going to you know, escort a fine gentleman
- 35:27Speaker 2: that is bringing you in for him, then you might
- 35:30Speaker 2: as well make a week of it. If you're only
- 35:32Speaker 2: going to be hanging out with him for a night,
- 35:34Speaker 2: then you can also do a gig at the Platinum Club,
- 35:38Speaker 2: make some money there, line up some other escort situations,
- 35:42Speaker 2: and then next thing you know, your whole week is
- 35:44Speaker 2: booked and you've got income for the year.
- 35:51Speaker 1: I don't know why that will always just blew his
- 35:54Speaker 1: Russ's mind because it's like they banged for money on film.
- 35:58Speaker 1: Why would you think they wouldn't do it off?
- 36:07Speaker 5: It wasn't a big leap.
- 36:15Speaker 4: Anyway.
- 36:16Speaker 2: Uh, do you think it would ever be possible to
- 36:22Speaker 2: have a delete button if you're in the if you're
- 36:25Speaker 2: in the adult industry, somehow find a way. You're like,
- 36:29Speaker 2: all right, I'm retired, and hit the button and all
- 36:32Speaker 2: your stuff goes away.
- 36:37Speaker 1: It's as long as there are guys with external hard drives.
- 36:42Speaker 3: No that way.
- 36:49Speaker 2: That may be one of my favorite That may be
- 36:51Speaker 2: one of my favorite double entendres I've ever heard you?
- 36:54Speaker 2: Yeah for all things Treehouse Treehouse on air dot com.
