- 0:03Speaker 1: What's up and welcome. This is the Rogue Recap and
- 0:06Speaker 1: you are here with your host, Linda McLaughlin. She is pissed, off, outraged,
- 0:12Speaker 1: and has zero patience with what seems to be an
- 0:15Speaker 1: epidemic of entitlement and stupidity. Here we talk about all
- 0:19Speaker 1: the things the other shows just don't or won't touch.
- 0:23Speaker 1: Make sure to like and subscribe to her podcast so
- 0:26Speaker 1: you never miss an episode.
- 0:28Speaker 2: Hey guys, welcome to the Rogue Recap here on Wednesday night,
- 0:32Speaker 2: and please follow us on x at. Linda Mick at
- 0:36Speaker 2: Rogue Recap. Want to talk about some good news tonight,
- 0:39Speaker 2: and that's what's happening in Memphis, Tennessee. And I think
- 0:44Speaker 2: it is long overdue to acknowledge that the President is
- 0:50Speaker 2: making things happen for a group of people that really
- 0:55Speaker 2: need the right to come out of their home without
- 0:57Speaker 2: feeling that they're going to get shot. And those are
- 1:01Speaker 2: the you know, the citizens of the state of Tennessee.
- 1:04Speaker 2: They should be able to come out of their homes
- 1:07Speaker 2: in Memphis, you know, go somewhere with their children, let
- 1:10Speaker 2: their kids play in the backyard, not feel like they're
- 1:14Speaker 2: going to get shot, kidnapped, beat up. I mean it's
- 1:19Speaker 2: absolutely terrifying what the citizens of Memphis have been telling us.
- 1:25Speaker 2: And the sad part is the Democrats don't want to listen.
- 1:29Speaker 2: They don't want to hear that people that typically would
- 1:33Speaker 2: vote Democrat perhaps are happy with what President Trump is
- 1:38Speaker 2: doing and that he's making good decisions and good moves
- 1:41Speaker 2: and so on and so forth. So I want to
- 1:44Speaker 2: just quickly look at the highlight reel of what is
- 1:48Speaker 2: happening in the city of Memphis. So Mayor Paul Young
- 1:53Speaker 2: and Governor Bill Lee yesterday went they visited with the
- 1:57Speaker 2: Memphis Safe Task Force, and in two weeks, this is
- 2:02Speaker 2: the progress that they have made. Eight hundred and fifty
- 2:06Speaker 2: four arrests of violent criminals and known gang members, one
- 2:10Speaker 2: hundred and eighty illegal firearms seized, and forty five missing
- 2:16Speaker 2: children located and brought to safety. Can you explain to
- 2:22Speaker 2: me how anyone is arguing that this is a bad thing,
- 2:26Speaker 2: this whole idea, Like these assholes that are going to
- 2:29Speaker 2: protest on Saturday. I cannot express to you how much
- 2:32Speaker 2: I hate these people with all of my heart and soul.
- 2:37Speaker 2: I want to know the following things. I'm going to
- 2:39Speaker 2: just digress for two seconds here. Who the hell has
- 2:42Speaker 2: given them the permits to coalesce and aggregate in these
- 2:46Speaker 2: large groups so that they can take over highways, they
- 2:50Speaker 2: can take over shopping centers, they can take over areas
- 2:54Speaker 2: and say, no kings, No one here is acting like
- 2:58Speaker 2: a king. What we are doing is we are taking
- 3:01Speaker 2: back our country. We are saying to you, we are done.
- 3:05Speaker 2: The David Dinkins version of America is done. Rudy Giuliani
- 3:09Speaker 2: is here and he's cleaning up the mess. For those
- 3:11Speaker 2: of you who don't get the analogy, if you look
- 3:14Speaker 2: at New York City under David Dinkins, who was the
- 3:16Speaker 2: mayor before Rudy Giuliani came in and cleaned it up
- 3:19Speaker 2: and turned it into Disney, before Disney was a land
- 3:21Speaker 2: of pedophiles. That's just my personal opinion. Take it for
- 3:24Speaker 2: what it's worth, but I really just what is it
- 3:28Speaker 2: that you're upset about? Are you upset that we are
- 3:32Speaker 2: arresting people who are hurting children, who are raping women,
- 3:37Speaker 2: who are murdering and attacking the elderly. Are you upset
- 3:41Speaker 2: that one hundred and eighty illegal firearms were taken off
- 3:44Speaker 2: the street. Because the one thing that I always say
- 3:46Speaker 2: to people who talk about, you know, gun control and
- 3:49Speaker 2: gun safety and we shouldn't have guns and blah blah blah,
- 3:52Speaker 2: and they hate the Second Amendment. They're typically the most
- 3:55Speaker 2: ignorant people in the room because you say to them, well,
- 3:58Speaker 2: who do you think stops a bad guy with a gun? Oh,
- 4:01Speaker 2: and by the way, the bad guy with the gun
- 4:03Speaker 2: is not going through the FFL process and giving up
- 4:07Speaker 2: all of his personal information and following all the rules
- 4:10Speaker 2: and filling out the paperwork. He's buying it off the
- 4:13Speaker 2: back of a truck with the serial number scratched off.
- 4:16Speaker 2: That's how that works. So these guns that they're seizing
- 4:20Speaker 2: are the guns that are actually committing the crimes. That's
- 4:23Speaker 2: where you're seeing that happen. You're not seeing you know, me,
- 4:27Speaker 2: my husband, my family, our neighbors who are Second Amendment
- 4:31Speaker 2: you know, abiding, law abiding citizens who have our you know,
- 4:35Speaker 2: concealed carry licenses and have gone and filled out all
- 4:38Speaker 2: the paperwork. We're not the people committing crimes. We're the
- 4:40Speaker 2: people who have our guns and are biometric safe with
- 4:43Speaker 2: our fingerprints so that our kids don't get to it.
- 4:46Speaker 2: Those are the types of people that are obeying the laws.
- 4:48Speaker 2: Gun laws. That is so now you get one hundred
- 4:50Speaker 2: and eighty illegal firearms steaves, you have forty five missing
- 4:54Speaker 2: children brought home. What are you upset about? This is
- 4:57Speaker 2: a bad thing. Think about how much an asshole you
- 5:00Speaker 2: have to be to think that's a bad thing. And
- 5:03Speaker 2: let's just take, you know, a quick look down here
- 5:05Speaker 2: the most dangerous cities in the US. Memphis is top
- 5:10Speaker 2: of the list, I mean honestly. So Donald Trump says, well,
- 5:15Speaker 2: let's go in, let's help them, let's take care of things.
- 5:18Speaker 2: And he did it. So I started looking around instead
- 5:21Speaker 2: of listening to the you know, utter pricks in the
- 5:24Speaker 2: Democrat Party, and it's not democratic. I wish people would
- 5:28Speaker 2: stop saying that it's the Democrats and the Republicans. We
- 5:31Speaker 2: live in a republic and a democratic society. I know
- 5:34Speaker 2: it's stupid and it's nuanced, but you know, sometimes the
- 5:37Speaker 2: details matter. Anyways. So we're looking at Memphis and we're
- 5:41Speaker 2: talking about the things that are happening. I'm like, you
- 5:43Speaker 2: know what, I'm going to just look around for people
- 5:46Speaker 2: that live in Memphis and could maybe tell us what
- 5:49Speaker 2: it feels like. Now that the National Guard is on
- 5:51Speaker 2: the ground, now that we have them working with local
- 5:54Speaker 2: police and law enforcement. What is happening? So here's just
- 5:59Speaker 2: a few things that I found very easy search guys,
- 6:04Speaker 2: not hard to find. So any democratic saying that they
- 6:06Speaker 2: don't hear anybody happy about this is utterly and completely
- 6:10Speaker 2: full shut. So just take a listen for a second, fool.
- 6:14Speaker 3: I ain't even gonna care when I say this, bro.
- 6:16Speaker 3: But since they brought the National Guard down the mithis,
- 6:19Speaker 3: I ain't heard no screeching tithes out late at night.
- 6:22Speaker 3: I ain't heard no gunshots. You folk really putting built
- 6:25Speaker 3: the ass right now. That don't mean that crime ain't
- 6:28Speaker 3: going on, but do you folk really got these folks
- 6:30Speaker 3: scared to go outside? And that like, is she crazy?
- 6:35Speaker 2: So that's just one guy, here's another woman.
- 6:39Speaker 4: Some of y'all might get mad. And at this point
- 6:43Speaker 4: I don't give it that. It's not until politician. I'm
- 6:46Speaker 4: not into all of it. It's just so did people
- 6:49Speaker 4: be losing their life over I ain't insolid human what else?
- 6:55Speaker 4: But I will say thank you to Trump for bringing
- 6:59Speaker 4: these National Guards to doing what they're doing down here
- 7:01Speaker 4: in the infants right now. You know, for the first
- 7:04Speaker 4: time in five years, I've been in my home for
- 7:07Speaker 4: five years and for the first time my kids have
- 7:11Speaker 4: been able to play in the backyard and be able
- 7:14Speaker 4: to do it comfortably. I have heard a gunshot in
- 7:20Speaker 4: two weeks. I haven't seen strange people walk up and
- 7:23Speaker 4: down the street. Just a few weeks ago, I and
- 7:27Speaker 4: somebody walk on the side of my house. None of
- 7:31Speaker 4: that action's going on. I haven't seen no young white
- 7:35Speaker 4: ends at the store posted.
- 7:38Speaker 2: I haven't seen an.
- 7:38Speaker 4: Infinity fly past me in a week. I'm sitting on
- 7:42Speaker 4: my porch right now and I'm watching kids outside, plane,
- 7:49Speaker 4: people outside walking with their kids stuff. I ain't ever
- 7:52Speaker 4: seen pouring in my neighborhood. But all because we feel
- 7:56Speaker 4: safe in this environment. Unfortunately, because of the things that
- 7:59Speaker 4: are happening here, I hate it have to be this way.
- 8:05Speaker 1: Bleed.
- 8:09Speaker 4: I'm happy. I'm happy. Honestly, I actually feel that this
- 8:14Speaker 4: is just a band aid to the problem. I don't
- 8:16Speaker 4: think this is going to completely fix anything, but to
- 8:18Speaker 4: have a moment of peace, just thank you Jesus.
- 8:26Speaker 2: Now, can you imagine this woman has lived in her
- 8:29Speaker 2: home for five years and her children cannot play in
- 8:32Speaker 2: her backyard. A week ago, she had a stranger walking
- 8:36Speaker 2: up between the houses and on the side of her
- 8:39Speaker 2: house and The issue is, and the problem is, is
- 8:42Speaker 2: that there's no accountability. We got cashless bills. We got
- 8:47Speaker 2: Democrats who want to keep entire neighborhoods and communities impoverished, afraid,
- 8:52Speaker 2: and at risk because it makes them easy pray, because
- 8:55Speaker 2: then they can come in and say, I'm going to
- 8:57Speaker 2: fix it. But you know what, we're done with that.
- 9:00Speaker 2: You don't get to make the problem and then find
- 9:03Speaker 2: the solution. That's over. Nice. Try. Now, we have somebody
- 9:09Speaker 2: in there. His name is Donald Trump. He doesn't care
- 9:11Speaker 2: about your feelings. He doesn't care that you like Hi, Murray, don't.
- 9:14Speaker 2: He doesn't care.
- 9:16Speaker 1: You know.
- 9:16Speaker 2: I have a giant, giant, beautifully framed photo in my
- 9:20Speaker 2: office and it's Donald Trump, and he's smoking a cigar
- 9:24Speaker 2: and he says, I don't give a shit. I'm gonna
- 9:27Speaker 2: do what I gotta do, and your opinion doesn't matter
- 9:29Speaker 2: to me. Donald Trump has one thing on his mind,
- 9:33Speaker 2: and that is to keep America what it is supposed
- 9:36Speaker 2: to be, and that is the land of the Free,
- 9:38Speaker 2: the home of the brave, and a Judeo Christian nation.
- 9:42Speaker 2: We are not here for anything else. If you don't
- 9:44Speaker 2: want to be those things, see your way out there.
- 9:47Speaker 2: Are plenty of communist, Gestapo cartel ridden nations. Call in
- 9:52Speaker 2: your name. In fact, here on the Roague Recap, we
- 9:56Speaker 2: will pay your one way ticket to any of those locations.
- 9:59Speaker 2: Please find us on let us know where you'd like
- 10:01Speaker 2: to go. Well, you know, don't let the door hitch
- 10:04Speaker 2: on the way out. We're done. I am so happy
- 10:08Speaker 2: that these people can live in their communities and feel
- 10:11Speaker 2: like my kid can ride their bike, their kid can
- 10:14Speaker 2: play basketball, I can walk my little three year old
- 10:17Speaker 2: up and down the street with her baby coach. That's
- 10:19Speaker 2: all the things that are happening in places all across America.
- 10:23Speaker 2: And then you have somebody like Brandon Johnson and JB.
- 10:26Speaker 2: Pritzker that are in Illinois and Chicago saying that everything's fine.
- 10:31Speaker 2: But then you go to the salash out of Chicago
- 10:33Speaker 2: and you talk to the people that live they are like,
- 10:34Speaker 2: what is this guy talking about. People are getting shot
- 10:37Speaker 2: every day, but they don't care because the idea that
- 10:41Speaker 2: they would have to say thank you to President Trump. Remember,
- 10:46Speaker 2: they hate President Trump more than they love America, more
- 10:51Speaker 2: than they love their constituents. More than anything else. They
- 10:55Speaker 2: are committed to the ideology of bringing that man down
- 10:58Speaker 2: and whether they're sees in illegal guns, rescuing missing children,
- 11:03Speaker 2: putting felons back into prison, making sure illegal aliens, or
- 11:08Speaker 2: leaving the country that are committing crimes and are not
- 11:10Speaker 2: on a pathway to citizenship or here on a legal visa.
- 11:15Speaker 2: This is the stuff that they want because without chaos,
- 11:19Speaker 2: without confusion, you can see clearly and you can see
- 11:25Speaker 2: just how little they're doing. Think about it this way.
- 11:29Speaker 2: The government has been shut down for fifteen days. What
- 11:31Speaker 2: do you miss about it? Do you miss anything? I
- 11:34Speaker 2: know I don't. I'm so grateful that the research and
- 11:39Speaker 2: development extraneous dollars that they had in the military budget
- 11:43Speaker 2: is being used to pay our military. We need those people.
- 11:46Speaker 2: We need a strong and we need a protected nation.
- 11:48Speaker 2: So I'm grateful to President Trump and Speaker Johnson for
- 11:51Speaker 2: figuring that out. Wonderful, that's awesome. But do we really
- 11:55Speaker 2: need to pay for anything else? Russ Watt is telling
- 11:59Speaker 2: us today, he's the O ANDB director. He's saying today
- 12:02Speaker 2: that he's going to get rid of another ten thousand
- 12:04Speaker 2: federal jobs. If it's that easy to cut ten thousand
- 12:07Speaker 2: federal jobs, we need an audit, which I think is
- 12:09Speaker 2: what Doge was doing right, Doze was there the Department
- 12:13Speaker 2: of Government and Efficiency. They were there to take care
- 12:16Speaker 2: of these things. But of course that got a little uncomfortable, right,
- 12:19Speaker 2: because the problem is we have bad people on both
- 12:22Speaker 2: sides of the aisle. Like I always say, it's us
- 12:24Speaker 2: versus them, not ours versus D's right. There's people that
- 12:27Speaker 2: love America want to work hard, and then there's people
- 12:29Speaker 2: that don't. We got plenty of them. You know. You
- 12:31Speaker 2: look at King Kinzinger, you look at McConnell, you look
- 12:35Speaker 2: at Thune, you look at Cornyn. Those are all Republicans,
- 12:37Speaker 2: and they absolutely suck. So you know, Susan Collins, Lisa Murkowski,
- 12:43Speaker 2: I mean, god, the list goes on and on there.
- 12:45Speaker 2: They're just career politicians who have learned how to rig
- 12:50Speaker 2: the entire government process for their own profitability and well being.
- 12:57Speaker 2: I don't see any of them taking a paycheck and
- 12:59Speaker 2: pay cut. There's a few people in Congress that have
- 13:02Speaker 2: actually they're not taking a paycheck right now. There's a
- 13:06Speaker 2: few of them, but most of them are. They don't care.
- 13:09Speaker 2: They didn't never have to go and get the Affordable
- 13:11Speaker 2: Care Act, they didn't never have to go and get
- 13:13Speaker 2: the vaccine. They didn't never have to take the pay cuts.
- 13:16Speaker 4: You know.
- 13:17Speaker 2: It's that whole what's good for the is not good
- 13:19Speaker 2: for me thing, you know. But again I digress. I
- 13:23Speaker 2: want you to hear one more thing before I let
- 13:24Speaker 2: you go tonight. I want you to hear this report
- 13:27Speaker 2: from a local Memphis news channel talking about the return
- 13:31Speaker 2: of these plus forty kids. I mean, it's just it's
- 13:34Speaker 2: just good news. I'm so grateful that they found them.
- 13:39Speaker 4: In its first two weeks, the Memphis Safe Task Force
- 13:42Speaker 4: has made more than eight hundred and fifty arrests. It
- 13:44Speaker 4: has also stepped in to find and rescue missing children.
- 13:48Speaker 5: The reporting number is forty four. We know there are
- 13:51Speaker 5: forty five. One was literally being reported when the searge
- 13:56Speaker 5: operations had stopped the vehicle and that child was in
- 13:59Speaker 5: this vehicle.
- 14:00Speaker 3: That's a big, big, big deal, especially what we've seen
- 14:03Speaker 3: because those numbers haven't changed much. In fact, they've gone up.
- 14:07Speaker 3: This will be the first time and our numbers are
- 14:09Speaker 3: now changing or we're seeing those numbers go down.
- 14:11Speaker 5: And it's so encouraging.
- 14:13Speaker 2: Think about that people are afraid to kidnap children because
- 14:18Speaker 2: there is accountability, and that's what we were missing before
- 14:22Speaker 2: Donald Trump, so I don't live in Memphis. I've never
- 14:26Speaker 2: been to Memphis. I think I may go and look
- 14:29Speaker 2: for myself and see how things are going. But as
- 14:31Speaker 2: somebody who works in New York City who's from Philadelphia,
- 14:35Speaker 2: I can tell you these liberal run cities they are
- 14:38Speaker 2: going to hell in a hand basket. And all of them,
- 14:42Speaker 2: all of them need the Donald Trump treatment. Honestly, they
- 14:45Speaker 2: need it five minutes ago. And I think what we're
- 14:49Speaker 2: seeing is people who live in these communities, who have
- 14:51Speaker 2: been lied to for so very long, are finally saying, Wow,
- 14:56Speaker 2: this is what it looks like when there's law and order.
- 14:58Speaker 2: This is what it looks like when my kids go outside.
- 15:01Speaker 2: This is what it looks like when I can open
- 15:02Speaker 2: my windows at night. Hmm, maybe it's not so bad.
- 15:06Speaker 2: I would love to see more people come to the
- 15:09Speaker 2: side of appreciating what America can do, what it has done,
- 15:14Speaker 2: and what it will do if we can work together.
- 15:17Speaker 2: They want to say that MEGA is all these horrible things.
- 15:19Speaker 2: It's not. MEGA is focused on one thing, that's America,
- 15:24Speaker 2: making America strong, keeping America strong, and doing what's best
- 15:28Speaker 2: for America, and everything else comes second. I, for one,
- 15:31Speaker 2: I love it. So this is the Rogue Recap. I
- 15:34Speaker 2: am Lynna McLaughlin. Thank you for listening. We will be
- 15:36Speaker 2: back tomorrow. I have no idea what we'll cover tomorrow,
- 15:39Speaker 2: but we'll see you then
