- 0:04Speaker 1: Hello, friends from across the nation and around the world.
- 0:08Speaker 1: I'm Martin, and you are listening to Dad's bedtime Stories. Tonight,
- 0:13Speaker 1: we're jumping back into the Cards of Power universe for
- 0:17Speaker 1: a little bit of a spinoff story based on a
- 0:21Speaker 1: couple ideas. The first one is the main idea, so
- 0:25Speaker 1: let's check it out right now. Hi.
- 0:29Speaker 2: My name is Anslin, I'm ten years old, and I
- 0:32Speaker 2: have an idea. It's a dragon versus It's a marshmallow
- 0:37Speaker 2: dragon versus a pillow gollumn. The marshmallow dragon turned into
- 0:45Speaker 2: a marshmallow dragon by eating too much marshmallows, and the
- 0:50Speaker 2: pillow column turned into a pillow column by sleeping too much.
- 0:55Speaker 1: A lovely stories by great suggestion. And when I was
- 0:58Speaker 1: writing the story, sort of coming up with a whole
- 1:01Speaker 1: plot and everything, I realized that I'd probably need another
- 1:05Speaker 1: card holder with another magical creature of their own. So
- 1:10Speaker 1: I picked up this suggestion too.
- 1:13Speaker 3: And my name is Solman. I would like there to
- 1:17Speaker 3: be for the Quada pastures, there to be a pterodactyl
- 1:23Speaker 3: that could be invisible and shoot electric boat of it's
- 1:29Speaker 3: mouth linked and hails.
- 1:31Speaker 2: Thank you.
- 1:32Speaker 3: I love your podcast. Listen to the ever I listen
- 1:35Speaker 3: to them every night.
- 1:37Speaker 1: Well, thank you to h ASLN and Soma before we
- 1:43Speaker 1: get started. As of the recording of this episode, I
- 1:45Speaker 1: did notice one more person had joined my social share
- 1:48Speaker 1: contest where you can share the podcast on social media
- 1:53Speaker 1: and then enter into a draw for a guaranteed story idea.
- 1:57Speaker 1: So far there are seven people as of the record
- 2:00Speaker 1: of this podcast. Anyways, so big thank you to Melissa
- 2:04Speaker 1: MC for sharing on Instagram and joining as well. If
- 2:08Speaker 1: you want to know more information all of the infos
- 2:10Speaker 1: in the show notes, as well as a form to
- 2:12Speaker 1: fill out if you do share the podcast, because last
- 2:15Speaker 1: time I did this, I didn't have a form and
- 2:17Speaker 1: it was really hard to keep track. So please fill
- 2:19Speaker 1: out the form if you share the podcast, and thank
- 2:21Speaker 1: you for everyone who has. Now it's that time again,
- 2:26Speaker 1: time for a possible word from a possible sponsor. Don't worry,
- 2:31Speaker 1: there's never any advertisements during or after the story though.
- 2:35Speaker 1: I just have to fund this somehow. Now time to
- 2:40Speaker 1: get as comfy as you can in that bed, close
- 2:44Speaker 1: your eyes and imagine yourself doing what the kid or
- 2:50Speaker 1: marshmallow Dragon does. Now, as many of you know, the
- 2:56Speaker 1: protected zones and the cards of power universe are full
- 3:00Speaker 1: of all sorts of magical creatures, and for most of
- 3:04Speaker 1: those creatures, their main desire was to get more powerful.
- 3:10Speaker 1: Some wanted to grow stronger until a powerful cardholder came
- 3:14Speaker 1: along and chose them. Some dreamed of becoming rare battle cards.
- 3:20Speaker 1: Some practiced all day long, hoping to prove that they
- 3:24Speaker 1: were the best in the land. The marshmallow dragon had
- 3:29Speaker 1: once tried to care about all of that, a long
- 3:33Speaker 1: time ago, before he became soft around the edges, before
- 3:37Speaker 1: his tail turned bouncy and his scales became squishy, and
- 3:41Speaker 1: his horns looked more like more like puffed things than
- 3:44Speaker 1: pointy horns. He'd imagined himself as a terrifying dragon of legend.
- 3:51Speaker 1: He'd practiced his roars, his fiery poses, his fire breath.
- 3:57Speaker 1: But then he'd discovered her the enchanted marshmallows. They grew
- 4:04Speaker 1: in a certain hidden field of the protected zone, full
- 4:08Speaker 1: of magical sugar puffs that drifted from the tops of
- 4:12Speaker 1: special little reeds like little white clouds. Some would even sparkle.
- 4:19Speaker 1: The dragon had eaten one, then ten, then all of
- 4:24Speaker 1: the marshmallows he could find. Then he started toasting them
- 4:28Speaker 1: with his own fire breath and eating even more. At first,
- 4:33Speaker 1: nothing really happened except that he felt wonderfully full and
- 4:37Speaker 1: a little bit sleepy. But over time the marshmallow magic
- 4:42Speaker 1: had seeped into him. His scales softened, his body became
- 4:47Speaker 1: kind of stretchy and squashy. His landing stopped sounding like
- 4:52Speaker 1: dragon landings and more like someone dropping a pillow on
- 4:57Speaker 1: the ground. Worst of all, his fire had changed. Instead
- 5:03Speaker 1: of breathing fierce flames, he would sometimes sneeze out warm,
- 5:08Speaker 1: sugary fluff. After that, the other creatures in the protected
- 5:14Speaker 1: zone had stopped taking him seriously. A few laughed, a
- 5:19Speaker 1: few culled names like puff snout, flop wing, or even
- 5:24Speaker 1: dessert lizard. The Marshmallow Dragon had decided that if he
- 5:29Speaker 1: couldn't be respected, he'd at least be comfortable. That was
- 5:34Speaker 1: how he met the pillow Goleum. The pillow Golum had
- 5:38Speaker 1: once been made of stone, proper stone, hard, heavy, dependable stone,
- 5:44Speaker 1: with an affinity for the earth itself. He'd guarded a
- 5:49Speaker 1: ruined structure at the edge of the dream Grass plains,
- 5:54Speaker 1: and according to the stories he told in his slow,
- 5:57Speaker 1: sleepy voice, he'd been very stern about it, very stern,
- 6:04Speaker 1: he would say, while lying on his back and a
- 6:07Speaker 1: heap of pillows. I was extremely stern for oh at
- 6:16Speaker 1: least several afternoons. What had happened to him was simple.
- 6:22Speaker 1: The dream grass around the ruins was soft enough to
- 6:26Speaker 1: nap in. Then, some enchanted traveling merchants had passed through
- 6:31Speaker 1: years before and left behind a wagonload of magical pillows.
- 6:36Speaker 1: The goal had told himself he was only protecting them,
- 6:39Speaker 1: but then he leaned against one, and he decided he'd
- 6:44Speaker 1: have just a quick nap. After that, the pillows magic
- 6:50Speaker 1: had soaked into his stony body, until the hard rocks
- 6:54Speaker 1: softened into fluffy stuffing and springy cloth. He no longer stomped.
- 7:01Speaker 1: He kind of poofed around. Feathers sometimes drifted from his
- 7:05Speaker 1: shoulders when he sighed too hard. The other creatures thought
- 7:09Speaker 1: he was ridiculous, so he and marshmallow Dragon became friends,
- 7:16Speaker 1: best friends. In fact, Together they found a hidden marshmallow meadow,
- 7:21Speaker 1: tucked between a line of candy canes and a hill
- 7:26Speaker 1: of sleepy blue moss. It was one of the quietest
- 7:30Speaker 1: and safest places one could find in the protected zone.
- 7:34Speaker 1: The same marshmallows grew wild there. Dream pollen floated through
- 7:40Speaker 1: the air, and it was always warm and reasonably safe,
- 7:46Speaker 1: which suited them perfectly. On most days, the marshmallow dragon
- 7:52Speaker 1: lounged in the sun and toasted marshmallows on the tip
- 7:55Speaker 1: of his tail using his firebreath. On most days, the
- 8:00Speaker 1: pillow Golum arranged himself into a nest of giant soft
- 8:04Speaker 1: cushions and just sort of offered remarks that cloud looks
- 8:10Speaker 1: like it's shaped like a pillow. Sometimes they talked, sometimes
- 8:17Speaker 1: they didn't. Sometimes the marshmallow dragon practiced scary roars, just
- 8:22Speaker 1: in case he ever needed one, though they often came
- 8:26Speaker 1: out more like a puff or squeak. These days. Sometimes
- 8:30Speaker 1: pillow Golum built forts and then promptly fell asleep in them. Altogether,
- 8:36Speaker 1: they were happy, and because this was the cards of
- 8:40Speaker 1: power world, that happiness could not possibly last forever, not
- 8:46Speaker 1: for a magical creature anyways. One bright afternoon, the marshmallow
- 8:53Speaker 1: dragon was floating on his back at a pond of
- 8:56Speaker 1: melted sugar. Nearby well, the pillow Golum dozed under a
- 9:01Speaker 1: pile of pillows. The dragon tossed a toasted marshmallow into
- 9:06Speaker 1: the air and caught it in his mouth. This, he announced,
- 9:11Speaker 1: chewing proudly. Is the life. Pillow Golum opened one eye
- 9:17Speaker 1: halfway m He said, too much excitement for me. The
- 9:24Speaker 1: dragon snorted excitement. I just caught a marshmallow, yes, said
- 9:32Speaker 1: the pillow Golum. Very dramatic. The marshmallow dragon grinned and
- 9:39Speaker 1: flicked a marshmallow at him. It bounced harmlessly off of
- 9:42Speaker 1: his fluffy body. Then the meadow crackled with sudden blue light.
- 9:50Speaker 1: The air buzzed, and a shadow swept overhead. Both the
- 9:55Speaker 1: dragon and Golum looked up. Boy, who seemed like he
- 10:01Speaker 1: was just floating in the air, gently landed on the
- 10:06Speaker 1: ground in front of them, and then climbed off of
- 10:10Speaker 1: something invisible. The shadow below looked a lot like a terradactyl,
- 10:17Speaker 1: but they couldn't see anything at all until for half
- 10:22Speaker 1: a second it appeared a terradactyl. What is this place?
- 10:30Speaker 1: He said, It's even weirder than I heard. The marshmallow
- 10:35Speaker 1: dragon swallowed. Pillowgolum leaned toward him and murmured, do we
- 10:41Speaker 1: have to do battle? I very much hope not, whispered
- 10:49Speaker 1: the dragon. The boy smirked, I'm Soma. I'm looking for
- 10:54Speaker 1: unusual creatures, rare stuff, strange evolutions, you know, things worth owning.
- 11:03Speaker 1: He looked the two of them up and down. You
- 11:06Speaker 1: two were definitely strange looking. The marshmallow dragon puffed out
- 11:11Speaker 1: his chest as much as a marshmallow dragon could. We
- 11:15Speaker 1: are not interested in being owned, he said, huh, that's adorable,
- 11:23Speaker 1: Soma replied. A hum of energy buzzed through the pterodactyl,
- 11:30Speaker 1: then it disappeared where the terodactyl goal. The pillow Golum said.
- 11:39Speaker 1: Soma's grin widened. Oh, you'll find out. The attack came
- 11:46Speaker 1: from nowhere. A streak of blue electricity tore across the
- 11:51Speaker 1: meadow and slammed toward the pillow Golum's side. The poor
- 11:55Speaker 1: golum barely had time to turn before the invisible tear
- 12:00Speaker 1: or adactyl's strike would have hit him with full force,
- 12:03Speaker 1: but the marshmallow dragon leaped. He hurled himself sideways in
- 12:09Speaker 1: a heroic squishy blur, and took the attack instead. Blue
- 12:15Speaker 1: lightning burst over his soft body. He yelped, bounced twice,
- 12:21Speaker 1: crashed into a pile of marshmallow reeds, and passed out.
- 12:27Speaker 1: Dragon shouted, pillow Golum, not knowing.
- 12:31Speaker 4: What to do.
- 12:33Speaker 1: The pillow Golum jumped up into a ball and bounced
- 12:38Speaker 1: off into the forest. Soma walked up to the marshmallow dragon,
- 12:44Speaker 1: raised a hand and activated his card core. A blue
- 12:50Speaker 1: light spread throughout the dragon until his entire body became
- 12:57Speaker 1: bright blue energy. The energy started to reform itself into
- 13:03Speaker 1: the shape of a glowing blue card, and the boy
- 13:07Speaker 1: grabbed it out of the air. The pillow Golum watched
- 13:12Speaker 1: from the shadows. Soma read the card. Huh, marshmallow dragon.
- 13:20Speaker 1: He turned it over once. Honestly, I thought he'd be cooler.
- 13:25Speaker 1: Then with a shrug, he called his pterodactyl, jumped onto
- 13:29Speaker 1: its back, and flew off into the distance. The meadow
- 13:34Speaker 1: went quiet. The only sound was the slow settling of
- 13:39Speaker 1: flattened marshmallow reeds. Pillowglum sat up. He looked at the
- 13:44Speaker 1: empty sky, then at the place where his friend had fallen,
- 13:50Speaker 1: then back at the sky again. He didn't say anything
- 13:53Speaker 1: for a long time. I should have moved faster, far
- 14:02Speaker 1: from the protected zone. Soma arrived at the Beginner Card
- 14:06Speaker 1: Shop by dusk, just outside the protected zone. The place
- 14:11Speaker 1: was full of cardholders, buying supplies, trading creatures, and bragging
- 14:16Speaker 1: about things they'd done. Behind the counter stood an old man.
- 14:22Speaker 1: He was speaking to a wizard, one of the choosing
- 14:26Speaker 1: wizards from the Wizard's Council, the same one that gave
- 14:32Speaker 1: card cores to the children on their choosing day. Soma
- 14:37Speaker 1: tossed the Marshmallow Dragon card onto the counter. The wizard
- 14:41Speaker 1: caught it and peered at it through tiny round glasses
- 14:45Speaker 1: before handing it over to the shop owner. Interesting, he said,
- 14:52Speaker 1: not really, it's soft and sticky. Honestly, it seems kind
- 14:56Speaker 1: of pathetic. I'm hoping to trade it in. What do
- 14:59Speaker 1: you give me for it? The shop owner thought for
- 15:03Speaker 1: a minute, then reached below the counter and picked up
- 15:07Speaker 1: a pile of tokens, sliding them across the counter towards Soma. Eh.
- 15:13Speaker 1: I guess that'll do, Soma said, grabbing the tokens and
- 15:18Speaker 1: walking out of the shop. Mind if I have a look,
- 15:23Speaker 1: the wizard asked, Be my guest, the shop owner replied.
- 15:29Speaker 1: The wizard picked up the card and stared at it.
- 15:33Speaker 1: Poor fellow, he murmured, Mind if I take this one
- 15:39Speaker 1: with me to the choosing he asked, I have a
- 15:44Speaker 1: feeling about it, be my guest. The card shop owner replied.
- 15:51Speaker 1: The Wizard grabbed some tokens from his pocket, slid them
- 15:55Speaker 1: across the counter, and headed outside. A group of new
- 16:01Speaker 1: cardholders stood in a semicircle at the same time the
- 16:06Speaker 1: Wizard moved out of the shop. At the end of
- 16:10Speaker 1: the line stood a girl, a girl named A'sln. The
- 16:16Speaker 1: wizards started by explaining the importance of the choosing day,
- 16:21Speaker 1: then by tapping his staff on the ground three times,
- 16:26Speaker 1: producing a whole bunch of glowing, floating orbs that absorbed
- 16:31Speaker 1: themselves into each one of the kids, creating a card core. Next,
- 16:38Speaker 1: he presented them all with their own choice of cards.
- 16:43Speaker 1: When A'slen's turn came, the Wizard gave a small nod
- 16:49Speaker 1: and the cards floated in front of her. Several of
- 16:52Speaker 1: them looked really flashy. There was a horned lizard with
- 16:56Speaker 1: molten claws, a wind fox with three tapes feels, a
- 17:01Speaker 1: small armored beetle that looked like it made weird clicking noises.
- 17:07Speaker 1: And then there was one card near the side that
- 17:10Speaker 1: looked a little warm, a little crinkled, that even looked
- 17:16Speaker 1: a little sad, but it seemed to have character Aslyn
- 17:21Speaker 1: reached for it before she quite knew why an unusual choice.
- 17:28Speaker 1: The wizard said, what is it, Azelyn asked. The wizard
- 17:33Speaker 1: glanced down, Bosh, mellow Dragon. A few of the other
- 17:39Speaker 1: beginners snickered. Azeln simply ignored them. There was something about
- 17:45Speaker 1: this card that just felt right, so she reached out
- 17:49Speaker 1: and grabbed it. Then, with the help and guidance of
- 17:53Speaker 1: the wizard, she activated her card core and linked with
- 17:58Speaker 1: the card her very first card. Well, go on, the
- 18:04Speaker 1: wizard said, try summoning it. Aislyn stepped into an open space.
- 18:11Speaker 1: She produced the card from her card core and said,
- 18:16Speaker 1: Marshmallow Dragon, I summon you. A burst of blue energy
- 18:22Speaker 1: shot out of her chest, formed itself into a glowing card,
- 18:27Speaker 1: which then reformed itself into the shape of a marshmallow dragon,
- 18:33Speaker 1: which generally looked a lot like an ordinary dragon, only softer.
- 18:39Speaker 1: His scales looked pillowy, his wings looked spongy, His tail
- 18:44Speaker 1: was tipped with a fluffy puff that bounced when it
- 18:47Speaker 1: hit the floor. He blinked, looked around, and drooped almost immediately.
- 18:54Speaker 1: There were a few laughs from the other beginners. A'sln
- 18:58Speaker 1: gave them a look, then knelt beside the dragon.
- 19:02Speaker 4: Hi.
- 19:03Speaker 1: She said, I'm Hazelin. The marshmallow dragon looked up. Hello,
- 19:10Speaker 1: you don't seem very happy, she said. The dragon hesitated.
- 19:17Speaker 1: You don't have to be scared of me. I picked you.
- 19:22Speaker 4: Just tell me.
- 19:23Speaker 1: Why do you look so sad. The marshmallow dragon sat down,
- 19:29Speaker 1: curled his tail around himself, and took a deep breath.
- 19:35Speaker 1: Well I kind of had a friend, he said. Hazelin
- 19:40Speaker 1: didn't interrupt, so he went on. He told her everything
- 19:45Speaker 1: about the protected zone, about the hidden marshmallow meadow, about
- 19:50Speaker 1: the pillow golden who liked naps more than battle, about
- 19:54Speaker 1: Soma and the electric and visible pterodactyl, about the attack,
- 19:59Speaker 1: and by the time he finished, A'sln's expression had changed
- 20:04Speaker 1: from curiosity to outrage. He traded you away, she said,
- 20:12Speaker 1: I guess so, Otherwise I don't think i'd be here
- 20:16Speaker 1: after capturing you from your friend. She said, Uh, yeah,
- 20:22Speaker 1: I guess so that's horrible. The marshmallow dragon gave a
- 20:28Speaker 1: tiny shrug. He said, no one would want a marshmallow dragon.
- 20:34Speaker 1: Aislon stood up at once. Well he was wrong, The
- 20:40Speaker 1: dragon looked up. Now, let's go find your friend. He
- 20:45Speaker 1: stared for a second, as if he'd not expected the
- 20:47Speaker 1: answer to be that simple. Really, he asked, Really, she said,
- 20:54Speaker 1: A'sln climbed onto the marshmallow dragon's back. He was softer
- 20:59Speaker 1: than expect did like riding a spongy couch or something
- 21:03Speaker 1: one with wings. Sorry if I bounce a little, he
- 21:07Speaker 1: said nervously. I think I can handle it, she replied.
- 21:12Speaker 1: He launched into the air. The flight back toward the
- 21:16Speaker 1: protected zone was fast, bright, and a little bit wobbly,
- 21:20Speaker 1: but overall the dragon was comfortable, the kind of comfortable
- 21:24Speaker 1: you could sit on all day. They headed inside the
- 21:29Speaker 1: gate and up into the air once again. They flew
- 21:34Speaker 1: high above the beginner's zone until the dragon angled downward. There,
- 21:41Speaker 1: he said, the marshmallow meadow. But when they reached it,
- 21:46Speaker 1: Maslin felt him go tense. Beneath her, the meadow had
- 21:51Speaker 1: been ruined. Marshmallow reeds had been stomped flat, pillow nests
- 21:57Speaker 1: were ripped apart. The sleep the blue moss had been
- 22:01Speaker 1: churned into ruts and cracks, and all of the ground
- 22:05Speaker 1: had been broken up. In the middle of it all
- 22:09Speaker 1: sat a pack of rock golams lumbering through the field,
- 22:14Speaker 1: tearing up clumps of marshmallow, breaking up clumps of ground,
- 22:20Speaker 1: and hurling rocks at each other. Where's your friend, Aslyn asked,
- 22:27Speaker 1: I I don't know. A rock golum noticed them and turned,
- 22:32Speaker 1: then another and another. Soon the whole gang was staring
- 22:38Speaker 1: their leader. One of the largest rock golums stomped forward
- 22:44Speaker 1: well he rumbled. The desert lizard came back. The other
- 22:51Speaker 1: golums laughed. It sounded like boulders falling down a staircase.
- 22:56Speaker 1: The marshmallow Dragon lowered his head. Aslyn could feel him
- 23:01Speaker 1: starting to shrink inside himself. Then she stepped in front
- 23:06Speaker 1: of him. This meadow isn't yours, she said. The leader
- 23:11Speaker 1: snorted it is now. Then Aislyn activated her cardcre and
- 23:18Speaker 1: commanded the dragon Dragon, it's time to do battle. Something
- 23:25Speaker 1: passed through the dragon that E've never felt before, as
- 23:29Speaker 1: if the bravery from the girl her command to do
- 23:34Speaker 1: battle filled him with well bravery of his own. It's
- 23:39Speaker 1: as if a battle mode sort of activated inside him. Suddenly.
- 23:46Speaker 1: He really wanted to show these gouldams what was what?
- 23:51Speaker 1: Gilp them Asln shout it. The marshmallow Dragon nodded in agreement,
- 23:59Speaker 1: inhaled d deeply, and blasted a thick stream of sticky
- 24:03Speaker 1: white marshmallow goo across the field. It splattered over the
- 24:08Speaker 1: lead rock Golum's leg and glued them together instantly. He
- 24:13Speaker 1: took one more step, failed and toppled sideways with an
- 24:17Speaker 1: enormous crash that flattened three of his own allies. Again
- 24:22Speaker 1: Aslan shouted, the dragon spun firing more sticky goop. Two
- 24:27Speaker 1: rock golums gutted across the arms. Another god had full
- 24:31Speaker 1: in the face and staggered backward blindly. For a few
- 24:35Speaker 1: glorious seconds, it worked. Aisln laughed, See, you're amazing. The
- 24:42Speaker 1: marshmallow Dragon blinked. Then his expression had changed. A rock
- 24:49Speaker 1: golum ripped one arm free, grabbed a boulder straight out
- 24:53Speaker 1: of the ground, and hurled it right at them. Duck.
- 24:58Speaker 1: Aislen yelled, and the dragon ducked. The stone sailed overhead.
- 25:05Speaker 1: Something else happened too. It made the marshmallow Dragon a
- 25:11Speaker 1: little bit upset. For the first time in a long time,
- 25:16Speaker 1: he felt a spark deep in his throat. He opened
- 25:21Speaker 1: up his mouth, and this time he unleashed a blob
- 25:25Speaker 1: of goop that was also on fire. The flaming mass
- 25:30Speaker 1: of goop hit one of the golams, sending them flying
- 25:34Speaker 1: across the field. You can do fire too, A'slyn said
- 25:40Speaker 1: in surprise, Ah, I used to be a fire dragon.
- 25:44Speaker 1: It's a long story.
- 25:47Speaker 4: Enough.
- 25:48Speaker 1: The lead golum growled, whipping the last of the marshmallow
- 25:52Speaker 1: off of his body, and all at once he and
- 25:56Speaker 1: the others reached into the ground, pulled out boulder, and
- 26:01Speaker 1: began to run at the two of them. The marshmallow
- 26:05Speaker 1: dragon did his best, firing sticky flaming bursts as fast
- 26:10Speaker 1: as he could, gluing one, toppling another, scorching a third.
- 26:15Speaker 1: But for every golum that fell, more kept coming. One
- 26:20Speaker 1: slammed into his side and sent him skinning through a
- 26:23Speaker 1: patch of marshmallow reads. Another swung a giant, rocky fist
- 26:28Speaker 1: towards A'slin, but it bounced off of something strange. She
- 26:35Speaker 1: looked up to see another golum, only this one looked
- 26:40Speaker 1: really soft, as if he were made out of pillows.
- 26:46Speaker 1: Leave my friends alone, he said. He took in a
- 26:53Speaker 1: deep breath, shrinking his body down, and then suddenly shot
- 26:58Speaker 1: it back outwards like a ball. The ball hit the
- 27:03Speaker 1: rock golum and sent them flying across the field. The
- 27:08Speaker 1: golums continued to throw boulders toward Aislin. The marshmallow dragon
- 27:14Speaker 1: and the pillow golum. The pillow golum stepped in front
- 27:19Speaker 1: of the rocks and bounced them back in the direction
- 27:23Speaker 1: they came from. Every rock that came their way was
- 27:27Speaker 1: intercepted and flung back at the rock golums themselves. The
- 27:33Speaker 1: marshmallow dragon unleashed blasts of fiery marshmallow flame that hit
- 27:39Speaker 1: the golams and continued to burn afterwards. Eventually they called
- 27:45Speaker 1: for retreat. Let's get out of here, the lead golum said,
- 27:51Speaker 1: trying to brush off some fiery marshmallow goop. They turned
- 27:56Speaker 1: to boulders and rolled away. Pillow gol up. The marshmallow
- 28:03Speaker 1: dragon yelled and ran over and hugged his friend. Where
- 28:09Speaker 1: have you been, the pillow gola masked. I'm sorry I
- 28:16Speaker 1: could not save you. That's okay, the marshmallow dragon replied,
- 28:23Speaker 1: and I ended up finding a brand new friend. Ah
- 28:27Speaker 1: many chance you'd want to join us, he asked? Join you? Yeah,
- 28:35Speaker 1: you know, become a card like some of the others,
- 28:39Speaker 1: and well, do something useful in your life instead of
- 28:44Speaker 1: just sleeping all the time. Will I still get to
- 28:49Speaker 1: sleep a lot? The gola masked, Well, yeah, being inside
- 28:56Speaker 1: a cardcore is like the ultimate sleep. It's super relaxing.
- 29:03Speaker 1: That does sound nice. In that case, I will join you. You
- 29:12Speaker 1: may turn me into a cod he said, I won't resist.
- 29:20Speaker 1: Aislyn walked up to the pillow Golum and placed a
- 29:23Speaker 1: hand on its chest. She activated her card core and focused.
- 29:29Speaker 1: Just like the wizard had told her to. The Golum
- 29:33Speaker 1: began to glow a bright blue color, until eventually he
- 29:38Speaker 1: turned into pure energy. That energy reformed into a glowing card,
- 29:45Speaker 1: which Aislen absorbed into her card core. She now had
- 29:50Speaker 1: two magical creatures, and they were best friends. As the
- 29:56Speaker 1: sun sank down, she summoned the pillow Golum back into existence,
- 30:03Speaker 1: and the three of them curled up in the soft
- 30:06Speaker 1: blue grass of the meadow. As Lin laid down with
- 30:11Speaker 1: her head against the pillow Golum, one of the softest,
- 30:16Speaker 1: most comfortable pillows she'd ever felt in her life. The
- 30:21Speaker 1: marshmallow dragon wrapped around her on the other side, and
- 30:27Speaker 1: slowly she stared up at the sky and began to
- 30:32Speaker 1: relax her muscles. She let go of the tension in
- 30:37Speaker 1: her arms and her legs. She released the tension in
- 30:44Speaker 1: her shoulders and neck and face, allowing herself to sink
- 30:49Speaker 1: down deeper and deeper into the soft pillow Golum. Her
- 30:56Speaker 1: eyes became heavy, so she let them close too, and
- 31:03Speaker 1: slowly but surely, she began to drift off to thoughts
- 31:09Speaker 1: of new dreams, new adventures, and new magical creatures to come.
- 31:18Speaker 4: Good night. Everyone must.
- 33:53Speaker 5: Never union name ACoM.
- 37:28Speaker 1: Ne more
- 41:48Speaker 5: Union kicking, no thing, no
