  getting news as we're getting ready to kick off the show. So with that

  sick and tired of Cody Rose theme music. I mean I'm singing it all

  the time. At least, like Carlos said, you just got to know

  wove, right. I mean sometimes when I'm just listening, I can't help

  all saw this match coming, right. I think we kind of scouted this

  yeah, still technically isn't a pretty much? Yeah, And dude, like

  I'm excited, Like, you know, I've seen them come in from the

  NXT to the main roster. I've seen them come in and you know,

  kinda kind of succeed when they got here as a tag team, then they
• 7:19
  kind of got repackaged a little. But Theoses have come such a long way,
• 7:27
  and I think even after last year being the main event of Night One,
• 7:33
  still getting both on the card this year, I think they're they're pretty
• 7:38
  secured. I think they're gonna put on a hell of a match, you
• 7:41
  know, And it's really hard to say who would go over in that match,
• 7:45
  who they're really gonna book to go over. But we don't. I
• 7:51
  mean, what other matches do we We kind of foresee happening here that aren't
• 7:58
  on the card because we have the Bloodline match, we have seth Rollins match,
• 8:05
  we have EO Sky and Bailey, we have Riha Ripley and Becky Lynch.

  Gunther versus Sammy's a now that was just recent and it looks like,
• 8:18
  you know, Judgment Day defend Balen Damian Prize. They're going to verse five
• 8:24
  different teams in a six pack ladder match for the tag team titles, which
• 8:28
  I think is a pretty cool idea. I'll tell you what, I don't
• 8:35
  two matches on this card I don't like already, and I don't like the
• 8:41
  Gunther sammis Ain and I don't like the Bloodline Rock and Roman tag teamy night
• 8:48
  one with Cody and Seth, and then they're all back again the next night.

  You know, we get I mean two nights of this, Like,

  do you guys really want two nights of this? I thought going two nights
• 9:03
  is like I get to experience more wrestlers. I get to experience this one
• 9:09
  thing night one and a completely different thing night too. But instead the storyline

  is so long. I gotta see Cody ros twice, I gotta see Seth
• 9:20
  rollins twice, and Roman reigns is long entrance twice. I still gonna wonder.

  I still don't know what the hell Seth is even doing there. I

  feel like, right Randy would have made more sense. It could be like
• 9:35
  Cody's ally in this, Yeah, because there's more like history than Seth and
• 9:43
  and Cody hate each other, right, Like Randy and Seth have like a
• 9:46
  history of of you know, teacher pupil kind of relationship. And he's got
• 9:52
  beef with the bloodline too, he yeah, he does. I think this
• 9:58
  is kind of just more it's about names, because I mean, again not
• 10:05
  to say that Randy Orton isn't a big name, but in terms of like,
• 10:09
  who are like the top two babyfaces on your roster right now? It's
• 10:15
  probably Cody and Seth says the world champion. Cody is champion to be quote
• 10:22
  unquote. So it's kind of like throwing your top, your top baby faces
• 10:26
  at your top heel faction. So almost akin to back in two thousand and
• 10:33
  two when I'm sorry two thousand and three two or three to two thousand and
• 10:41
  two, two thousand and two going to the WrestleMania eighteen when they brought back
• 10:43
  the nWo, and who did they have them feuding with the Rock and Stone
• 10:48
  Cold Sea Boston. They immediately threw them at the two biggest names that they
• 10:52
  had and had them in the feud with the nWo. It's kind of somewhat
• 10:58
  similar to that in this and to the extent that it's the blood line,
• 11:03
  they're the top faction. Whoever they're gonna be with is always gonna be the
• 11:07
  top people on the roster. Like last year it was Cody as the top
• 11:11
  singles Babyface and Ko and Sammy's Ain as like the top Babyface tag team.

  This year, there's not really a top Babyface tag team. Plus the tag
• 11:22
  titles aren't with the bloodline. It's just all about Roman. So he's got
• 11:26
  a few with again still the top baby facing Cody. But since they bring
• 11:30
  in the Rock, then Cody obviously needs an ally of some sort. So
• 11:33
  it's gonna be the next you know, one A or number two Babyface,
• 11:39
  which would be Seth Rollins. I'm just like Seth has his own shit going
• 11:46
  on. Yeah, it's plus there's always the factor of you know, Punk
• 11:52
  being injured as well, because we know pretty much before that happened, the
• 11:56
  plan was Seth to be preoccupied with seeing Punk right now, and Rock might
• 12:03
  not even factored into this picture at all. We have just been getting pure
• 12:05
  Cody and Roman, right, But like, is there not enough men on
• 12:11
  the roster too? Is there not enough people on that roster to like fill
• 12:16
  those positions to the point where it's like we don't have enough guys. We've
• 12:20
  got to double book people. I mean we have we had that before.

  We haven't had anybody that was double booked? Have we on two nights?

  Not really? Yeah? I mean WrestleMania ten Brett and lug are both I
• 12:37
  think wrestled twice, right, No, Yokozuna wrestled twice. He wrestled Brett

  okay, but we've had people and then of course WrestleMania four you had the
• 12:52
  tournament, so you've had people working double in the same time. But I
• 12:56
  don't know that we've ever had anybody in the in the Saturday Sunday era.

  Yeah, that's gonna yeah. You know what I thought about this is actually

  kind of concerning from like a fan point of view. I'm always like worried
• 13:16
  and cautious with the wrestlers with injuries happening before WrestleMania. I always think,

  like going from the Rumble all the way to Mania, it's like, you
• 13:28
  gotta be kind of careful because we've seen with like I mean, for example,
• 13:33
  Seampunk, how quickly your WrestleMania plans or whatever Charlotte had planned. Maybe
• 13:39
  I think Charlotte and Bianca had something possibly planned for WrestleMania. Either way that
• 13:45
  that plan was just swept out from under them, you know. Uh so,
• 13:52
  how like how many times have we seen like especially WrestleMania, because you
• 13:58
  know, these guys go, uh they go all out, as I feel
• 14:01
  like, they give it everything they have to try to put on a five
• 14:05
  star match. But most of the time we find out later like, oh,
• 14:11
  well, did you know after Rock and Sina Rock was actually pretty messed
• 14:16
  up. I think he like injured his ribs or pectoral muscle or something like
• 14:22
  a lot of guys, yeah to Peck, like some of these guys get
• 14:24
  pretty messed up. And like I'm thinking, like two nights, like who's
• 14:30
  to say, like Roman doesn't get hurt, Cody doesn't get hurt, seth
• 14:33
  Rollins gets reinjured. Like that's very risky. Maybe I just look too you
• 14:41
  know, too deep into it, but like I just think of that risk
• 14:45
  factor like before the big show, before the big paycheck. You know you're
• 14:50
  right, But at the same time, it is WrestleMania, so we're not
• 14:54
  talking about people who got injured the last raw before wrestlemedia then had to suck
• 14:58
  it up on into Wrestlemedia. Like Rock tours pec his pectoral muscle in the
• 15:03
  match with John Cena at WrestleMania, Hulk Hogan cracked his ribs in the match
• 15:09
  with The Rock at WrestleMania. So at this point, if the injuries happened
• 15:13
  at WrestleMania, then you know it's at WrestleMania. And if that happened Night
• 15:18
  one and you gotta make it tonight too, you know, pop some digg
• 15:22
  on some cane and suck it up tickets. We want to see it.

  But if you notice, though, if you've been kind of following what's been
• 15:33
  happening on the last couple weeks of Raw SmackDown, most of the principal actors
• 15:41
  in some of these big name matches have had very little physicality. Goulter hasn't
• 15:46
  really had too mini matches he's been appearing, He's only really had maybe like
• 15:52
  one or two matches. EO Sky hasn't had a match. Ria hasn't had
• 15:58
  a match since elimination. Chip the man is out there trying to kill herself
• 16:04
  right every week. You know what, Let's let's talk about you mentioned Gunther.

  Let's dude, let's let's talk about like how let's talk about Chad Gable.

  I think I I I think you want to vent a little. Actually,

  Dre, I'll let you take this because I think you want to vent

  a little about being a Gable man right now, Monday night, screw job
• 16:30
  dude. Yeah, dude, I absolutely agree. Like it's it was one
• 16:33
  of those things, like it was another situation where I thought it was very
• 16:38
  predictable and like, oh, well, obviously it's Chad Gable, right,
• 16:42
  because like Sammy's am would be second best choice, Like why Sammy doesn't really
• 16:49
  need it? I'm like Chad Gable could really use it. So when he
• 16:56
  didn't win, I was pretty upset. This's gotta be a reason, right,
• 17:02
  injury, Right, he got injured? What was it? Good,
• 17:06
  Drav, what are your thoughts? Okay, well, first things first,

  let me say I don't have anything really against Sammy's Ain, Like I don't
• 17:15
  dislike him, I don't hate him or anything like that. I'm totally cool
• 17:18
  with Sammy's Ain. And the match this past Monday went pretty much exactly how
• 17:23
  I expected. I just had the names flipped between sammyse Ain and Chad Gable.

  I thought Chad Gable was gonna be the third one to come out and
• 17:33
  he would have to run the gauntlet and that Sammy's Ain would be the last
• 17:37
  one and it would come down to obviously Chad versus Sammy, with Chad Gable
• 17:41
  coming out on top, and as we know, it was the opposite.

  Sammy'se Ain came out on top with Chad Gable coming out last. My biggest
• 17:49
  gripe with it is that I understand why they went with Sammy versus Gulter because
• 17:57
  of the bigger names. However, Chad Gable, in my opinion, clearly
• 18:03
  has the better story going into or the better story for an Intercontinental title match
• 18:12
  with Gunter, because throughout his Gunter's entire reign, you could argue Nobody's pushed
• 18:18
  them further than Chad Gable did in a one on one match. So I
• 18:26
  said, you could argue, arguably nobody's pushed them further. I'm not saying
• 18:30
  that's the most difficult match he's had. I mean, we had WrestleMania last
• 18:33
  year with you know, the triple threat with Seamus and Drew. But in
• 18:37
  one on one match, you could argue that Chad Gables pushed him further than
• 18:42
  anyone else. So he has that going for him. Then you had the
• 18:47
  whole storyline of him losing in front of his daughter and his daughter crying,
• 18:51
  and it made such a big deal about that, and him trying to you
• 18:55
  know, you know, put the smile back on his daughter's face or reclaim
• 19:00
  that moment from disappointment to turn it into something happy. You got Chad Gable
• 19:06
  pushed further, gets knocked down fights his way back up, and what better
• 19:11
  way for him to do it than in a gauntlet match. Have him come
• 19:14
  out there and have him fight off for all these other guys to build himself
• 19:18
  up and regain his titled opportunity and make himself look legitimate all at the same
• 19:26
  time and completely build it like the crowd would have been completely behind it,
• 19:32
  and he would have looked on Credible as the guy who's coming for Gunter,
• 19:37
  like I'm back, I'm coming. I was the guy that excuse me,
• 19:40
  I was the guy who almost beat you last time, and I just ran
• 19:42
  through all these guys and I'm coming for you again. That's a that's a
• 19:48
  great storyline going into WrestleMania. Now look at Sammy on the other hand,
• 19:53
  what is Sammy's am his whole what is his storyline been? Basically, Oh,
• 20:00
  some madis coming in. I ain't got shit to do. I believe
• 20:03
  I could be a champion, but he's still sitting on that paycheck from last
• 20:10
  year. Yeah, Like, he really doesn't have much of a story going
• 20:15
  into this match other than it's Russell Meydie and I ain't got shit to do.

  I have to prove to myself will prove that I'm worthy of being a
• 20:22
  champion, which we thought that was him trying to be a world champion or
• 20:26
  destined to be a world champion one day after, especially after the match he
• 20:30
  had with Seth Rollins, but then I guess he lost that and said,
• 20:33
  I guess I could just be a mid car champion for now. But there's
• 20:37
  no real story between him and Gunter going into the matches. Again, it
• 20:41
  just feels like to me that they chose the bigger name over the better story.

  But right now, I think like it looks like they're teasing a little
• 20:52
  bit of more of imperium and Judgment Day feuding and Gunter and Damion Priest like
• 21:02
  kind of button heads, Like we could get Sammy's aing beating Gunter and then
• 21:10
  Damian Price is cashing in on Sammy a fresh face and it goes from heel
• 21:17
  transitions to a face to a heel. So the title states on the point
• 21:22
  of that, just get the title another heel, I guess, but yeah,
• 21:27
  it would be pointless, Like yeah, exactly, then what that's not
• 21:32
  I don't get everybody just feel good or give the fans to feel good moment
• 21:34
  of oh Samy' Sin did it. He's the guy who took down Gutter.

  He ended the longest streak and title five minutes later. Yeah, I don't
• 21:44
  know. I don't know why the whole moment get this win at WrestleMania,
• 21:48
  if that's the route they're going to go, right, I'm just scratching my
• 21:52
  head at this. Yeah, and then to put it on the guy who
• 21:56
  still has to defend his tag team titles or just or just defended them or
• 22:00
  just lost them. Yeah, it just lost them. That's how I see
• 22:03
  that happening. Lost the Night one or lost. I'd see that lost some
• 22:08
  Night one. I'm not leaving wrestling without a fucking title one way or another.

  I am getting gold. Yeah. I mean, granted, guess they

  did tease the whole yeah Imperium Judgment Day thing, but neither one of them

  seemed to be trending towards Babyface, So I don't see the point in two
• 22:32
  heel factions feuding. I do think between the two, if I had to
• 22:37
  say anybody's days would are numbered, I would lean towards Judgment days days being
• 22:42
  numbered, because I don't know how much longer you can hold back the rear
• 22:48
  Ripley Babyface train and now much right, and I think Dom is probably I'm
• 22:56
  not completely ready, but on the verge of being ready to step out on
• 23:00
  his own as a solo, as a as a singles competitor, JD Finn,
• 23:07
  Dame. I mean, they can all go their ways. Obviously,
• 23:08
  Dame still has the briefcase, so you can use that as his catapult into
• 23:15
  you know, mid car title holder or you know, world champion title contender.

  There's some kind of story to tell with Androtti in there and all of
• 23:26
  that potentially. You know, the great thing is that they got so many
• 23:32
  fucking balls in the air at the same time. You know, not all
• 23:34
  these things are gonna end up paying off or turning into something, but they're

  just throwing them up there. Just you know, we often complain about how

  predictable things are. Oh, obviously they're gonna be feuding. Obviously they're gonna
• 23:45
  be feuded, but do we really know. I mean, you should have
• 23:48
  five, six, seven people going after Gunther at a time, you know
• 23:52
  what I mean, He's got the championship. Everybody should want to be the
• 23:56
  guy that knocks off Gunter finally, you know, so I think it's great

  that we have all these different possibilities. Oh, we could feed with him
• 24:04
  and then feed with them and feed with them. He's you know, that's
• 24:07
  how it should be. Yeah. Is every one of these branches gonna get
• 24:12
  you know, flourished into a giant tree or whatever. No, probably not.

  Most of them are probably just gonna get snipped at some point. But

  well, the fact that they're kind of leading us this way and then we're

  going that way instead, well, I thought we got to remember why we're

  here. The reason why we're in this situation with Gunther and Sammysan is because

  it was supposed to be Goonther and brock Lesnar and that kind of got fucked

  up. Uh, But I mean, I'm sure you guys saw as well.

  Brock Lesner was added back to the roster on ww dot com. There's

  some question of whether he was ever gone in the first place. Really,

  yeah, maybe maybe because they're we can't take him out of the game,

  we have no choice. There's been people have said as he's been added back

  to the roster page, and there's also people saying, well, he was

  never gone from and in the first place. And then people said that he

  was put in the alumni section but now he's back on the rosters. I

  don't know who the hell knows if he shows up on our TV screen.

  Well know, at this point, they probably got all their WrestleMania plans locked

  in without brock Lester. I could see him being a day after wrestle Mania

  kinda if they're going to bring him back, which honestly, I can certainly

  live without ever seeing him again. To be honest with you, if they

  do him at raw after Mania, I think that would be awesome. Why

  because I bought tickets and I will be there, Me, Dave, and
• 25:52
  Andrew, all three the three of us went before to wrestling event. But

  yeah, we pulled the trigger. We got decent seats. Dwayne also another

  listener. He's going to be there, but he's on the floor. He's

  very close. And uh I went to go look at tickets that were like

  right next to him, and I saw the price because you know, I'm

  buying them, you know, like twenty something days before the event. Some

  of these tickets have been on sale for months, so he got them back

  when they were cheap. Also speaking to a friend Ron, Yeah, speaking

  to a buddy Ron of mine. I text him and like, hey,

  like are you going to WrestleMania this year? He goes oh. He goes

  yeah, I'm thinking about it. And this is like last week. He

  goes, oh, I'm just gonna maybe get tickets for like Night one.

  I'm like, oh, you didn't buy them yet. He goes, no,

  I'm just gonna probably pick them up this weekend. So I I was

  just looking around, just you know, just looking at prices of tickets,

  just curious. Yeah, they want pret damn high, damn high. I

  can imagine. So, like if they normally announced like right around right at

  wrestling, I think where it's going to be held next year, and Doyle

  like, how how much? How soon after WrestleMania do next year's tickets go

  on sale. I think they usually want to sale in August. I want

  to say that's when they went on sale. It's odd that they still haven't

  announced where next one is. I assume they'll do that at WrestleMania. I

  think there holding we knew it was Philly when we went to Extreme Rules.

  We knew we knew before that they the I think they presented the logo for

  the first time with the Liberty Bell, but we knew, we knew where

  WrestleMania forty was before that. It's I I think the rumors Minnesota, is

  the one I heard. I assume at WrestleMania they all announced that and I

  generally the tickets go on sale in August. I want it might have been

  July. Now do we or do we not get a halftime show with music

  live music. I don't know if it'll be like a halftime thing, but

  Adam Sandler is definitely a guy who's always there. I've seen him always

  there. But yeah, they say they're trying to get Sevestis tallone. That

  would be cool, but I can see them try to get Sly given it.
