2:59
Speaker 2: written so that we could read it. We can search
3:02

3:06
Speaker 2: and it's glory unto men, unto kings to search it out.

5:32
Speaker 2: We want to take over for the kingdom, y'all. So
5:36
Speaker 2: let's do this all right, Well, hopefully I gave it
5:45
Speaker 2: the time that you need it. To grab your bibles
5:49
Speaker 2: and your notepads. We are talking about the armor of God,
5:57
Speaker 2: putting on the whole armor of God. So listen. We
6:05
Speaker 2: are in a spiritual battle, and this battle rages every
6:12
Speaker 2: single day. Let me say this again. A lot of
6:15
Speaker 2: you think we're in a picnic. You think that Planet
6:19
Speaker 2: Earth is a playground. You think it's a play to
6:22
Speaker 2: a place to get high, get drunk, to play around,
6:28
Speaker 2: have sex outside of marriage, outside of your spouse. You
6:33
Speaker 2: think it's a place where you can do You's not.
6:37
Speaker 2: Planet Earth is a battleground and the battle is for
6:42
Speaker 2: your souls. And this battle is not against other people.
6:49
Speaker 2: We are all brothers and sisters, We are all family
6:53
Speaker 2: in this battle, but it's way deeper.
6:59
Speaker 1: Than people.
7:03
Speaker 2: So let's read. Let's get the word, and we're gonna
7:07
Speaker 2: start in Ephesians is a very popular scripture when it
7:13
Speaker 2: comes to spiritual wards spiritual battles. Efusians chapter six. We're
7:19
Speaker 2: gonna take it from one through eleven, I mean eleven
7:22
Speaker 2: through twelve, eleven through twelve. Read my not, it's here
7:28
Speaker 2: Ephesians six, eleven through twelve, and it's coming from I'm
7:32
Speaker 2: coming from the New King James version. I'd like to
7:35
Speaker 2: go back and forth from New King James and the
7:38
Speaker 2: King James. Now we'll do a podcast episode and I'll
7:43
Speaker 2: let you know why. It has a lot to do
7:45
Speaker 2: with the manuscripts. We gotta know which manuscript we are
7:50
Speaker 2: reading from, and so I really trust the King James
7:53
Speaker 2: and the New King James. So let's open this up
7:56
Speaker 2: with prayer. Little Father, we come before you. We ask
8:02
Speaker 2: a guy that you will open up our hearts and minds.
8:05
Speaker 2: Let us know the strategy of each day on how
8:11
Speaker 2: to fight this battle, how to fight this war that
8:14
Speaker 2: we are involved in. Oh God, I declare victory over
8:18
Speaker 2: everyone listening to this podcast, Victory over our finances, victory
8:23
Speaker 2: in our marriages, victory over our children, our family our homes,
8:27
Speaker 2: victory over our purpose, our plan, our profession, victory in
8:32
Speaker 2: our workplace, victory in our businesses and our ministries. We
8:36
Speaker 2: have won. The enemy is defeated. I cancel every assignment
8:40
Speaker 2: from Hell in the mighty name of Jesus. The guys
8:44
Speaker 2: people said, amen and amen, all right, everyone from joining
8:52
Speaker 2: us today. So let's dive into it. So Ephesians chapter
8:57
Speaker 2: six twelve, it says, put on the whole armor of God,
9:04
Speaker 2: that you may be able to stand against the wiles
9:08
Speaker 2: of the devil. Now the wiles are trickery, the schemes,
9:12
Speaker 2: the plans of the enemy. He's very wise, he's very cunning,
9:17
Speaker 2: he's very tricky. So we can't take that for granted.
9:22
Speaker 2: For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but
9:26
Speaker 2: against principalities powers, the rulers of the darkness of this age,
9:33
Speaker 2: against spiritual hosts of wakenedness in heavenly places. Amen. Amen.
9:40
Speaker 2: So we fight against a whole ward of demons and
9:44
Speaker 2: evil spirits. And I like what they say that they
9:47
Speaker 2: are of this age, the darkness, were the rulers of
9:51
Speaker 2: the darkness of this age. So that's gonna tell us
9:54
Speaker 2: that there's coming a time that these beings will no
9:59
Speaker 2: more be in power. God is gonna destroy them once
10:04
Speaker 2: and for all. Amen. But that's right. Your real battle
10:10
Speaker 2: isn't with your boss, and that with your cousin, is
10:13
Speaker 2: not with your ex is now with your dad, your mom,
10:17
Speaker 2: your stepdad, your step mom, your step children. No, that
10:22
Speaker 2: is not where the battle rages. It's a spiritual war zone.
10:28
Speaker 2: So it's in the spirit that we fight. See your
10:32
Speaker 2: armor does it come from the closet. You can't get it,
10:38
Speaker 2: you can't cock it, you can't load it. You can't
10:42
Speaker 2: fight with the sword or with the blade. So let's
10:45
Speaker 2: break down each piece of our heavenly gear. God says,
10:54
Speaker 2: put on the whole armor of guys. So we're gonna
10:56
Speaker 2: break it down. We're gonna look at each piece of
11:02
Speaker 2: our heavenly gear. Now let's look at the belt of truth.
11:14
Speaker 2: In verse fourteen, the belt of truth stand therefore, having
11:19
Speaker 2: girded your waste with truth. Now this is the foundation.
11:28
Speaker 2: Truth holds everything together. We can't get truth in our
11:33
Speaker 2: own hearts, by our own feelings, by our own thoughts.
11:37
Speaker 2: Now we need to look into the word of God
11:39
Speaker 2: daily so that we can stand upon the truth. See,
11:44
Speaker 2: you can't fight lies with the more lies, right, you're
11:49
Speaker 2: just adding fuel to the fire. You can't fight a
11:52
Speaker 2: lie with another lie. The truth of God's word and
11:58
Speaker 2: who we are in needs to be our anchor. And
12:03
Speaker 2: when you said that, Agaven. The truth of God's word
12:06
Speaker 2: and knowing your identity, knowing who you are in Christ,
12:11
Speaker 2: will be a stronger foundation in this battle ring. Now,
12:18
Speaker 2: the next is the breastplate of righteousness. We're still in
12:23
Speaker 2: verse fourteen, the breastplate of righteousness. Having put on the
12:29
Speaker 2: breastplate of righteousness. See, we need to protect our hearts
12:36
Speaker 2: and one of the ways we protect our hearts is
12:39
Speaker 2: through righteousness. Righteousness is not being perfect or doing everything right.
12:45
Speaker 2: It's about position. We can look at ourselves and we
12:49
Speaker 2: can be like man, I mess up on a daily basis.
12:52
Speaker 2: I'm not righteous as an other person. Remember the last
12:57
Speaker 2: episode we talked about comparison. It is not wise to
13:01
Speaker 2: compare yourself with someone else. Yeah, somebody might be really
13:06
Speaker 2: doing this thing and devoted prayer doesn't miss a beat
13:10
Speaker 2: in the word, the Word of God memorized at church
13:13
Speaker 2: faithfully all the time. This may be the case, but
13:19
Speaker 2: the truth is, it's about our position. What God has
13:24
Speaker 2: already declared of us. If we believe and have faith
13:28
Speaker 2: in Jesus Christ, he already looks at us as righteousness.
13:34
Speaker 2: But when you walk right with God, the enemy cannot
13:39
Speaker 2: pierce your heart with shame or guilt. Let me say
13:42
Speaker 2: that again, When you are walking right with God, the
13:46
Speaker 2: enemy cannot pierce your heart with shame or with guilt.
13:52
Speaker 2: And let's look at the shoes of the Gospel of peace.
13:57
Speaker 2: Let's look at the shoes, the shoes of the Gospel
14:02
Speaker 2: of peace. Now that's verse fifteen. Having shod your feet
14:07
Speaker 2: with the preparation of the Gospel of peace, stay ready
14:12
Speaker 2: with peace wherever you go. Bring the message of Jesus.
14:23
Speaker 2: These aren't just shoes. These are your combat boots for
14:30
Speaker 2: kingdom business. These are not just your shoes. These are
14:36
Speaker 2: your calmbat boots. So bring the message of Jesus Christ.
14:43
Speaker 2: And that is the Gospel is good news. Right. God
14:48
Speaker 2: doesn't want war, He wants peace with his children. Amen.
14:54
Speaker 2: Now in verse sixteen, we're talking about the shield of faith,
15:00
Speaker 2: the shield of faith above all, Taking the shield of
15:05
Speaker 2: faith with which you are able to quench all the
15:10
Speaker 2: fiery darts of the wicked one. Faith is your defense system.
15:16
Speaker 2: The enemy will throw darts. We can't stop that, and
15:20
Speaker 2: they look like doubt, it looks like fear, it could
15:25
Speaker 2: be depression. But faith blocks them all. Faith blocks them all.
15:34
Speaker 2: So activate your faith on a daily basis. When somebody
15:38
Speaker 2: comes to you and say, hey, I don't want nothing
15:41
Speaker 2: to do with you. Hey, you're worthless, You're nothing to me,
15:47
Speaker 2: we have to go back to our faith, go back
15:49
Speaker 2: to the word of God, and remember what God.
15:52
Speaker 1: Says about us.
15:54
Speaker 2: Things don't go our way. We gotta know that God
15:57
Speaker 2: has a plan, God has a purpose. Hey man, Amen,
16:02
Speaker 2: come on, we got a couple more pieces of armor
16:05
Speaker 2: to go through. Then we're gonna go gonna take a
16:07
Speaker 2: music break. We got West to Tech up on deck connect.
16:15
Speaker 2: We got one of his cuts now verse seventeen, we're
16:19
Speaker 2: gonna break down the helmet of salvation, the helmet of salvation.
16:25
Speaker 2: Take up the helmet of salvation. So we are called
16:30
Speaker 2: to take it up. See, this is something we gotta
16:33
Speaker 2: actively do on a daily basis. Now what that means
16:39
Speaker 2: is you gotta protect your mind, protect your thoughts. You
16:44
Speaker 2: know what I mean. You gotta think about what you're
16:46
Speaker 2: thinking about. Salvation isn't just a prayer, it's your identity.
16:54
Speaker 2: Don't let the enemy mess with your thoughts. Don't let
16:59
Speaker 2: the enemy mess with your thoughts. You have a new identity.
17:03
Speaker 2: Now you're in God's family. Everything is new. Hey man,
17:10
Speaker 2: Then the sword of the Spirit Verse seventeen, and the
17:15
Speaker 2: sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God.
17:19
Speaker 2: Come on and see this is Let me share a
17:24
Speaker 2: little thing, you know. I don't know if you want
17:29
Speaker 2: to call it a quirk, but just a little thing
17:32
Speaker 2: about me. It's to me. If I'm going to join
17:35
Speaker 2: a church or if I'm going to connect with a pastor,
17:43
Speaker 2: I'm looking for someone who teaches the word. I actually
17:46
Speaker 2: prefer line up online precept upon precept, and I'm gonna
17:51
Speaker 2: do that here on the podcast. But man, if you
17:53
Speaker 2: go through a whole chapter and break down every verse,
17:56
Speaker 2: and I don't care if it takes us six months
17:59
Speaker 2: just to get through chapter, but you're breaking it down.
18:02
Speaker 2: To me, that's rich. That's ministry. There's a difference between
18:09
Speaker 2: teaching and preaching. Yes, we need to hear the word.
18:12
Speaker 2: We need preachers to get saved, but once you're saved,
18:15
Speaker 2: you need to get built up in the Word. And
18:18
Speaker 2: that's my heart and my passion behind his hot nation
18:22
Speaker 2: and the word it says, right, here is the sword.
18:24
Speaker 2: This is your only offensive weapon in your whole armoring. Right,
18:31
Speaker 2: the word of God is your offense. Now, we got
18:35
Speaker 2: to speak the word out loud, but you have to
18:38
Speaker 2: know the word to speak it. As a matter of fact,
18:41
Speaker 2: there is a memory verse section here on the podcast,
18:45
Speaker 2: well actually on the app his Hot Radio. If you
18:48
Speaker 2: go to the app, you go to the game night
18:50
Speaker 2: section or making a game out of it. And I'm
18:53
Speaker 2: trying to really push it and get people to take
18:56
Speaker 2: up the challenge because the word of God is your
18:58
Speaker 2: only offense. It's a weapon in this war, in this battle.
19:03
Speaker 2: Who wants to go to battle without a weapon. Right,
19:08
Speaker 2: Let's say you're gonna get involved in a street fight.
19:12
Speaker 2: Somebody's coming at you and they got all the armor
19:15
Speaker 2: they can carry. Right, there's no mercy. Remember, Satan is merciless.
19:21
Speaker 2: He doesn't care. He's coming to rip you the shreds
19:24
Speaker 2: and he's bringing every weapon he can and he doesn't
19:28
Speaker 2: fight fair. He's gonna try to trick you, throw dirt
19:30
Speaker 2: in your eye, he's gonna do everything he can to
19:33
Speaker 2: throw you off. And here you come with nothing in
19:36
Speaker 2: your hand. You're in your boxers, no shoes, nothing, no
19:41
Speaker 2: weapon whatever, You're just gonna you just screaming, just gonna
19:45
Speaker 2: go to the fight, like how long you think you're
19:47
Speaker 2: gonna last? And that's how you look when you don't
19:53
Speaker 2: and grab the word that is able to save your soul.
19:56
Speaker 2: When you do not memorize your scripture. When you we
20:00
Speaker 2: don't know your word, you will be another casualty in
20:04
Speaker 2: this daily battle. And I don't want that. We need
20:07
Speaker 2: to become the Marines. Can we do that? Can we
20:10
Speaker 2: be a special force in the kingdom of heaven? Come on,
20:16
Speaker 2: hit me in a life, chad, let me know who
20:18
Speaker 2: is with me. Because the Word of God is your
20:21
Speaker 2: only offensive weapon. So speak the word out loud, fight
20:26
Speaker 2: with it like Jesus did when he was tempted in
20:29
Speaker 2: the wilderness. When Jesus was tempted in the wilderness, he
20:33
Speaker 2: used the word to fight back. Amen. All right, Now
20:41
Speaker 2: our last point and this topic will be verse eighteen.
20:47
Speaker 2: The secret weapon is prayer. Praying always with all prayer
20:54
Speaker 2: and supplication in the spirit. Now, prayer, we need to
20:58
Speaker 2: break it down and we'll do a segment on prayer.
21:02
Speaker 2: Prayer is not just asking God for everything you want.
21:06
Speaker 2: You come into his presence with thingsgivings. You come into
21:09
Speaker 2: his presence singing and worshiping him. Then you acknowledge his presence,
21:16
Speaker 2: and then you sit and listen to see if the
21:20
Speaker 2: spirit has anything to say at the moment. Then you
21:27
Speaker 2: go into conversation. It's a dialogue, not a monologue. You pray,
21:35
Speaker 2: you should good practices, leave your own personal needs. Last
21:40
Speaker 2: supplication is praying for other people. Pray for your family,
21:43
Speaker 2: Pray for the community, Pray for this nation, the leaders.
21:47
Speaker 2: You know what I mean. You know what I'm saying.
21:50
Speaker 2: Then take a section to pray scripture. I like to
21:53
Speaker 2: pray the Book of Songs because David has some great
21:57
Speaker 2: psalms and God loves it when you speak his word
22:00
Speaker 2: back to them. And then pray for your needs. Pray
22:04
Speaker 2: for your own petition. You have needs, you know, financial needs,
22:08
Speaker 2: family and all that. You know what I mean. And
22:11
Speaker 2: then we finished the prayer with the worship. Just let
22:14
Speaker 2: God know that you just want to be in his presence.
22:17
Speaker 2: Hey man, we need to enrich our prayer life. And
22:21
Speaker 2: I'm speaking to myself as well, but prayer it activates
22:28
Speaker 2: the armor. You're not just armored up to stand there,
22:35
Speaker 2: You're moving with power through prayer. Right, you don't just
22:39
Speaker 2: get dressed and just staying and I'll always know. You
22:42
Speaker 2: gotta get in here. We gotta do some shaking and moving.
22:45
Speaker 2: We gotta do some fighting, you know what I'm saying.
22:48
Speaker 2: We got to get out there and do this thing.
22:53
Speaker 2: All right, All right, I think it's time for a
22:57
Speaker 2: music break. So, as I said, my brother Western Tech
23:02
Speaker 2: on deck and he's got this song which is appropriate
23:06
Speaker 2: for this topic. Feeling like David, let's get into it
23:10
Speaker 2: live right here on his high radio show.
23:17
Speaker 1: Shut. You already know what time it is. Shut.
23:28
Speaker 3: I'm feeling like that shot shot shout. Can't nobody slave
23:33
Speaker 3: man shot shot say. I'm saying like Moses shot, big
23:39
Speaker 3: boy shot.
23:40
Speaker 1: Can't nobody hold man shout.
23:44
Speaker 2: Shout.
23:44
Speaker 1: I'm saying like Daniel shout.
23:46
Speaker 3: And what I'm that is shouting, can't nobody basement shout.
23:52

26:01
Speaker 1: Like Chouseph.
26:19
Speaker 2: Feeling like David. You know what I'm saying. That's our
26:23
Speaker 2: brother West detective right here, only his hot radio podcast. Yeah,
26:31
Speaker 2: they got me pumped. I'm ready for the battle today.
26:35
Speaker 2: You know what I'm saying. Don't come at me. Don't
26:37
Speaker 2: come at me. I'm about to take some heads off.
26:40
Speaker 2: Come on, it's all about that, Victor read in Christ
26:46
Speaker 2: at this topic, we are talking about the full armor
26:50
Speaker 2: of God. We have no excuse, no reason to be
26:55
Speaker 2: defeated on a daily basis, because God has armored us up, lady,
27:04
Speaker 2: other fight ready to send his angels on our behalf
27:09
Speaker 2: back us up. All we have to do is engage
27:13
Speaker 2: to speak his word, walk in and walk in obedience.
27:18
Speaker 2: Hey man, come on, there's no reason to fear.
27:21
Speaker 1: Right.
27:22
Speaker 2: There are more for us than who are against us.
27:30
Speaker 2: Right now, we're gonna enlighten the topic a little bit
27:33
Speaker 2: with the joke of the day. The joke of the
27:39
Speaker 2: day is on deck when it comes with the warning.
27:46
Speaker 2: Sometimes our jokes could be corny. Sometimes they could be funny.
27:53
Speaker 2: Sometimes they could be corny funny, and sometimes they could
27:57
Speaker 2: be funny corny. So oh, laughter is good for the soul.
28:04
Speaker 2: But anyway, okay, here this is a joke. Why didn't
28:10
Speaker 2: Jonah go fishing? I mean, I'm sorry, I'm sorry messing
28:16
Speaker 2: it up that Jonah. Jonah was the one that got
28:18
Speaker 2: swallowed up by the well. Noah, he's the one who
28:24
Speaker 2: God sent in the flood, right, he was on the
28:27
Speaker 2: arc and all built the art.
28:28
Speaker 1: So why.
28:30
Speaker 2: I didn't Noah go fishing?
28:34
Speaker 1: He was on the arc?
28:35
Speaker 2: Actually, that's a good question. What did they eat when
28:37
Speaker 2: they were on the arc. They probably had fruits and vegetables,
28:41
Speaker 2: like you know, I don't know that I'm going down
28:43
Speaker 2: a rabbit trail. But why didn't Noah go fishing on
28:49
Speaker 2: the arc because he only had two words, you get it.
29:02
Speaker 2: He only had to work, you know, two and you
29:04
Speaker 2: know they came on the art two by two and
29:08
Speaker 2: all right, forget it, let's keep it pushed. All right.
29:11
Speaker 2: I want to shout out someh news a little bit

Speaker 2: here on the station. We only ask that you guys

Speaker 2: we are a twenty four to seven radio station. We're
31:34
Speaker 2: streaming all over the place. We hope that you can
31:38
Speaker 2: enjoy it not only because it's good music, but good
31:44
Speaker 2: lyrics and good content. How many of you know that
31:47
Speaker 2: music is spiritual? And I know one thing you know.
31:52
Speaker 2: I was addicted to rap music when I was in
31:55
Speaker 2: the world. I used to love it, pumping all the time.
31:58
Speaker 2: But when I became a and came into the Kingdom,
32:02
Speaker 2: I was looking for something similar and there was not
32:05
Speaker 2: much out back then. But it was a blessing to
32:08
Speaker 2: find some gospel hip hop out there. So we are
32:12
Speaker 2: here to help you to make that transition. And we
32:14
Speaker 2: want to pump life in your heart through the lyrics
32:20
Speaker 2: from the songs that we played right here on the station.
32:23
Speaker 2: So and that's how we do. And one more announcement.
32:28
Speaker 2: We are also a nonprofit organization at five o'h one

33:02
Speaker 2: towards reopening a new venue club His Hop opening twenty twelve,
33:07
Speaker 2: one of the first Christian hip hop nightclubs in Las Vegas.
33:12
Speaker 2: We were open for seven years right before COVID. But
33:16
Speaker 2: we're looking to relaunch and to come back and take
33:20
Speaker 2: our community. We are a faith based organization, so yes,
33:27
Speaker 2: we are looking for the brothers and sisters to show
33:32
Speaker 2: us that love and support. All right, all right, let's
33:37
Speaker 2: get back to the topic of today, putting on the
33:43
Speaker 2: full armor of God. Now, I got some closing comments,
33:49
Speaker 2: I got a challenge I'll want to give out, and
33:53
Speaker 2: then we'll close out this segment. It's our radio podcast. Now, look,
34:03
Speaker 2: don't walk out of the house spiritually naked. Right let
34:09
Speaker 2: me say, Okay, you had at least you had some
34:11
Speaker 2: boxers on a few minutes ago. So don't walk out
34:14
Speaker 2: of the house spiritually with only your boxers on when
34:19
Speaker 2: you know that there's a battle each and every day
34:21
Speaker 2: that we got to face to need to put on
34:24
Speaker 2: the whole armor of God every day. I gotta make
34:29
Speaker 2: sure my armor is on. You gotta make sure your
34:31
Speaker 2: armor is on. You are a soldier now and you
34:37
Speaker 2: are in the army of the Lord, the King of Kings,
34:40
Speaker 2: and the Lord of lords. We need to be good soldiers,
34:43
Speaker 2: obedient soldiers in his war. But here's the catch. The
34:48
Speaker 2: victory is already one. We fight in the position of victory.
34:53
Speaker 2: We're not fighting for victory. Jesus already our king already
34:59
Speaker 2: defeated the end. He has no choice but to lose.
35:02
Speaker 2: All we have to do is stand engage on the
35:06
Speaker 2: promises of God. Like It can't be even more easier,
35:12
Speaker 2: they can't. Like, man, it will be embarrassing to go
35:14
Speaker 2: to hell knowing everything that God has done for us,
35:18
Speaker 2: like knowing we absolutely did not have to go because
35:22
Speaker 2: everything has been done. We just have to walk it out.
35:27
Speaker 2: We just have to engauge our faith and graph the word.
35:31
Speaker 2: Walk it out now, speaking of and grafting the word,
35:36
Speaker 2: here is the memory verse challenge type in the life chat.
35:41
Speaker 2: If you're gonna accept this challenge, now, memorize Ephesian six eleven.
35:48
Speaker 2: Put on the whole armor of God, that you may
35:51
Speaker 2: be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.
35:58
Speaker 2: And say it again, put on the whole armor of God,
36:05
Speaker 2: so that you may be able to stand against the
36:09
Speaker 2: wiles of the devil six. If he's your six eleven
36:13
Speaker 2: and then this is what I want you to do.
36:16
Speaker 2: Post yourself quoting it, Record yourself quoting this scripture, and
36:22
Speaker 2: post it and hashtag His Hot Radio, hashtag mister his Hot,
36:33
Speaker 2: and we will re post it our favorites. Just tag
36:40
Speaker 2: us into it. This is your boy, Mister His Hot.
36:48
Speaker 2: Thank you to a part of the His Hot Radio show.
36:57
Speaker 2: Don't forget that challenge. Don't forget to do that in
37:02
Speaker 2: remember it's not about us, something about the Christ. And
37:07
Speaker 2: I see y'all at eleven o'clock
