- 0:01Speaker 1: Jerry katie and josh fix.
- 0:03Speaker 2: 100 we've been talking about what we're wearing tonight and
- 0:07Speaker 2: you know how um lovely katie's gonna look i have
- 0:11Speaker 2: a question though because i did notice something what i
- 0:16Speaker 2: don't know if this is i'm not really tapped into
- 0:17Speaker 2: the nail game okay i noticed your fingernails are a
- 0:21Speaker 2: different color than your toenails.
- 0:24Speaker 3: Is that is that good or bad i feel like
- 0:28Speaker 3: it's bad.
- 0:29Speaker 1: Isn't that how we do it? Am I doing it wrong?
- 0:33Speaker 2: I've always heard that your nails on your fingers should
- 0:37Speaker 2: always match your toes.
- 0:38Speaker 3: Like it should be a matching combo.
- 0:41Speaker 4: No, I've seen girls with different toes and nails.
- 0:44Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 0:44Speaker 1: I have seen that.
- 0:46Speaker 3: I don't know. I think, I don't know. Ladies?
- 0:50Speaker 4: Yeah, let us know if I'm doing it wrong.
- 0:55Speaker 6: 303-691-1649.
- 0:55Speaker 1: Drastically different.
- 0:56Speaker 2: That was what was shocking to me because your nails
- 0:59Speaker 2: are like a blood red.
- 1:00Speaker 1: Yeah, the cherry red.
- 1:01Speaker 2: And your little piggies are bright white.
- 1:04Speaker 1: I love white toes.
- 1:05Speaker 3: It's a shocking difference.
- 1:07Speaker 1: I really like white toes. I think it's such a
- 1:09Speaker 1: sleek look. So I always paint my toes white.
- 1:14Speaker 3: It's very aerodynamic.
- 1:15Speaker 1: The red was for wine time tonight.
- 1:17Speaker 4: Like, that's why I did the red, because I wanted
- 1:20Speaker 4: it to match my shoes. So I did the, you know,
- 1:24Speaker 4: cherry red for the hands and then white for the toes.
- 1:27Speaker 1: But I like how it looks.
- 1:29Speaker 7: I didn't.
- 1:29Speaker 3: See, the phone's ringing.
- 1:30Speaker 2: I didn't know I was doing it wrong.
- 1:33Speaker 3: How would I know more about this than you? 303-691-1649.
- 1:36Speaker 3: She must do the same. I feel like, yes, that
- 1:39Speaker 3: she generally does the same. Because you got to matchy-matchy.
- 1:43Speaker 3: Open-toed shoes tonight?
- 1:45Speaker 1: No, closed-toed shoes. So maybe I'm okay. Maybe I'm okay.
- 1:49Speaker 3: Get away with it.
- 1:50Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:51Speaker 3: Josh is grabbing these clothes really quick. Are we dropping her?
- 1:54Speaker 4: And here's the thing, like, when I got my nails done,
- 1:56Speaker 4: you think they would have said something.
- 1:58Speaker 1: Like, no, you want your toes to be the same.
- 2:00Speaker 3: So ridiculous.
- 2:01Speaker 1: You know?
- 2:02Speaker 3: Those would be the experts right there.
- 2:04Speaker 1: They really would be.
- 2:04Speaker 4: And I'm really, like, my girl Gracie and I, we tight.
- 2:08Speaker 4: I feel like this is something she could tell me.
- 2:11Speaker 3: Deb.
- 2:12Speaker 7: What?
- 2:15Speaker 3: Hi, Deb. You called us, Deb.
- 2:17Speaker 8: I was looking for my lipstick.
- 2:18Speaker 5: I wasn't ready.
- 2:19Speaker 3: You were putting lipstick.
- 2:20Speaker 2: I got to ask you, does your lipstick have to
- 2:23Speaker 2: match your fingernails and your toenails?
- 2:25Speaker 6: No.
- 2:26Speaker 5: No?
- 2:27Speaker 3: Okay, you can get away with it.
- 2:28Speaker 5: So, I was a nail tech for 17 years.
- 2:30Speaker 8: Okay.
- 2:31Speaker 5: In Denver, Colorado.
- 2:32Speaker 1: Okay.
- 2:32Speaker 5: And just last night, I painted my nails bronco orange,
- 2:40Speaker 5: and my toes are still like a really party brown
- 2:43Speaker 5: from the pool party last weekend. So I figure, like,
- 2:47Speaker 5: at least they're, like, orange and brown, you know, kind
- 2:51Speaker 5: of go together.
- 2:51Speaker 3: It sounds like really bad diarrhea, Deb. You might want
- 2:54Speaker 3: to get that changed immediately.
- 2:57Speaker 5: No, you can do it, Katie. What colors do you
- 3:00Speaker 5: have on?
- 3:01Speaker 4: So I have, like, the red, like the, you know,
- 3:03Speaker 4: fire engine red for my hands, and then I.
- 3:06Speaker 3: Have white toes.
- 3:08Speaker 5: Oh, you're good, girl.
- 3:09Speaker 3: Okay, yes.
- 3:10Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 3:11Speaker 3: Nail tech for 17 years in Denver, Colorado.
- 3:15Speaker 5: I know my stuff, girl.
- 3:17Speaker 1: And you've got the throwback colors on, Deb, so I
- 3:20Speaker 1: dig it. Go Broncos.
- 3:21Speaker 3: Brown's a throwback, huh?
- 3:22Speaker 1: It is a throwback, yeah.
- 3:24Speaker 7: 1960.
- 3:24Speaker 2: Looks like a football. You should paint the little lines,
- 3:28Speaker 2: the laces on your toes, too, so they look like
- 3:30Speaker 2: little footballs.
- 3:30Speaker 5: No, I do it on my hands so everybody can
- 3:33Speaker 5: see them.
- 3:34Speaker 1: Yeah, no, that's fine.
- 3:35Speaker 5: You know, you decorate your hands. So toes, I don't
- 3:38Speaker 5: think you should decorate them.
- 3:39Speaker 2: So you're okay with the fingers being a different color
- 3:42Speaker 2: than the feet.
- 3:43Speaker 3: You say that's okay right now.
- 3:45Speaker 5: And yeah, why don't you like it? That's what I
- 3:48Speaker 5: like to know.
- 3:48Speaker 3: I'm a little OCD.
- 3:50Speaker 2: I feel like I want all 10 fingers and all
- 3:52Speaker 2: 10 little piggies to look the same.
- 3:54Speaker 3: And this is just, I'm pretty tapped into fashion, Deb.
- 3:58Speaker 2: And I've just seen it on the Instagrams that ladies
- 4:01Speaker 2: are supposed to have matching fingers and toes.
- 4:03Speaker 5: So do you make your wife do that?
- 4:05Speaker 3: I don't make her do anything, but she does it.
- 4:07Speaker 5: I bet you you do because you're OCD. And you
- 4:12Speaker 5: would tell her that's not how you do it. Go
- 4:15Speaker 5: back and change it.
- 4:16Speaker 3: I've actually threatened to leave her, Deb, if she doesn't
- 4:18Speaker 3: change it.
- 4:18Speaker 4: This has almost caused a divorce.
- 4:21Speaker 5: Leave her.
- 4:23Speaker 1: Deb, you're funny.
- 4:25Speaker 3: What kind of pool party were you at, Deb?
- 4:27Speaker 5: Oh, at my apartment. They do it all. Yeah, they
- 4:31Speaker 5: had limbo. We had a DJ.
- 4:33Speaker 6: They.
- 4:34Speaker 5: Grilled and all the free alcohol That we could.
- 4:38Speaker 3: Drink Deb got her drink on.
- 4:41Speaker 5: Oh I did I was starting to mess with my
- 4:44Speaker 5: eyebrows And I was just laying there going Oh my
- 4:47Speaker 5: god what's going on.
- 4:50Speaker 3: Did you pick up any cute fellas at.
- 4:52Speaker 5: This pool party?
- 4:53Speaker 9: No But It was relaxing it was good You know
- 4:58Speaker 9: I invited some friends and stuff So it was good
- 5:02Speaker 9: And I was in my own apartment, you know, drunk, so.
- 5:06Speaker 3: Good times.
- 5:07Speaker 1: Best time ever.
- 5:09Speaker 3: Deb, thank you for calling. You have a very good weekend.
- 5:15Speaker 2: All right, well, according to Deb, you're fine, Katie. But
- 5:20Speaker 2: she's also been very drunk in her life.
- 5:21Speaker 1: And her toenails are brown, so I don't know.
- 5:26Speaker 3: Take that for what it's worth. It's our feel-good Friday.
- 5:29Speaker 2: Sharing all those special little moments throughout the month of August.
- 5:33Speaker 2: Something good that happened to you. We want to hear
- 5:36Speaker 2: about it. I know something good has happened to you
- 5:39Speaker 2: in the month of August. Please call in and share
- 5:42Speaker 2: it with us. We like to bring joy to the airwaves.
- 5:45Speaker 2: We're making people smile and feel good today. It's a
- 5:48Speaker 2: feel-good Friday.
- 5:49Speaker 3: 303-691- 1649, what was.
- 5:53Speaker 2: The best moment of August for you? And I'll tell
- 5:55Speaker 2: you right now, it doesn't have to be anything like
- 5:57Speaker 2: a job promotion and you sued somebody and won a
- 6:01Speaker 2: bunch of money.
- 6:01Speaker 3: It can be small stuff too, you know? Like you
- 6:03Speaker 3: had a really good tuna fish sandwich. We'll take anything.
- 6:07Speaker 1: I mean.
- 6:08Speaker 3: That runs the gamut, right?
- 6:09Speaker 1: 303-691-1649 was the best moment of your month, Katie.
- 6:18Speaker 4: Oh, mine, I have to say it was baby Nana's
- 6:21Speaker 4: birthday because if I don't, I will get a strongly
- 6:23Speaker 4: worded text from her.
- 6:24Speaker 1: So it was baby Nana's birthday. It was the highlight
- 6:27Speaker 1: of my whole month. I loved it. Yay, birthday.
- 6:31Speaker 7: What?
- 6:33Speaker 3: That's what you picked?
- 6:34Speaker 1: I have to. I have to. I don't think you understand.
- 6:40Speaker 1: That has to be my pick this morning.
- 6:42Speaker 3: That girl needs to go to military school.
- 6:44Speaker 1: Maybe not his birthday.
- 6:45Speaker 3: You need to send her off to the military.
- 6:47Speaker 1: Best part of my month.
- 6:49Speaker 2: Is your daughter having her birthday.
- 6:52Speaker 1: That I wasn't invited to, remember?
- 6:54Speaker 6: Oh, that's right.
- 6:55Speaker 3: Oh, you be thinking about it. I want you to
- 6:57Speaker 3: pick a different one.
- 6:59Speaker 1: No, that is it. If I don't pick that, I'm
- 7:01Speaker 1: in trouble from my kid.
- 7:03Speaker 3: She will murder you. I see some of you calling
- 7:06Speaker 3: in and hanging up, calling in and hanging up. Don't
- 7:08Speaker 3: do that. I think they're getting scared. We want to
- 7:11Speaker 3: know the best part of August for you, big or small.
- 7:15Speaker 6: 303-691-7000.
- 7:15Speaker 2: 16 49 how many parents are going to call in
- 7:19Speaker 2: and say oh my kid's going back to school.
- 7:21Speaker 10: That was the best moment you included right uh call
- 7:26Speaker 10: now we are doing a feel good friday trying to
- 7:29Speaker 10: bring some joy to denver colorado today uh because.
- 7:32Speaker 2: It just makes everybody kind of feel good gives you
- 7:35Speaker 2: the feels a little bit because there's so much crap
- 7:38Speaker 2: going on out there in the world that we like
- 7:40Speaker 2: to you know show you the light a little bit.
- 7:43Speaker 2: So what was the best part of August for you?
- 7:46Speaker 2: We did get a really nice message from Lisa, who
- 7:49Speaker 2: said the best part was my trip to Vegas with
- 7:52Speaker 2: my 82-year-old aunt from Vermont.
- 7:55Speaker 3: We call her Rita the Roller. She rolled out of
- 7:59Speaker 3: Vegas with $ 1, 400. Nice! Rita the Roller!
- 8:04Speaker 1: Get it, Rita?
- 8:05Speaker 3: Here's Coral. Hi, Coral. Welcome to the show.
- 8:08Speaker 7: Hi.
- 8:09Speaker 11: Hi.
- 8:09Speaker 3: Okay, so it's Feel Good Friday. What was the best
- 8:11Speaker 3: part of August for you?
- 8:13Speaker 12: My best part of August is I got to meet
- 8:16Speaker 12: Zach Bryan.
- 8:17Speaker 8: You did?
- 8:17Speaker 12: And he signed my guitar strap, and then he offered
- 8:21Speaker 12: us all tickets to his concert.
- 8:23Speaker 3: What? How did you pull that off?
- 8:24Speaker 1: Yeah, where'd you meet him?
- 8:27Speaker 12: We met him in, it's called the Butcher Block in Denver.
- 8:32Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 8:33Speaker 12: Yeah, my neighbors, they own that restaurant, and the neighbor
- 8:39Speaker 12: is my, like, friend.
- 8:41Speaker 3: Well, that's a pretty awesome experience. And he got an autograph.
- 8:45Speaker 1: He came into the restaurant and, like, hung out with y'all.
- 8:49Speaker 12: Yeah, he did. That's awesome.
- 8:50Speaker 1: He is such a good dude, too.
- 8:52Speaker 3: That's definitely a highlight.
- 8:54Speaker 1: Absolutely.
- 8:54Speaker 2: You are in the lead so far. Thank you so
- 8:56Speaker 2: much for calling in. We appreciate you.
- 8:58Speaker 3: Here's Alex. Hi, Alex.
- 9:00Speaker 2: Hello.
- 9:00Speaker 1: Hello.
- 9:03Speaker 3: It's a feel-good Friday with Alex. All right, Alex, what
- 9:06Speaker 3: was the best part of the month?
- 9:08Speaker 7: Well, a couple of things, actually, now that I remember.
- 9:10Speaker 7: I got my car back after it being in the
- 9:12Speaker 7: shop for about a month.
- 9:14Speaker 3: Oh, gosh.
- 9:15Speaker 6: Oh, Lord.
- 9:16Speaker 3: What was wrong with the car?
- 9:18Speaker 7: Well, the rack and pinion needed to be replaced because
- 9:22Speaker 7: it was leaking. The transfer case needed to be replaced
- 9:25Speaker 7: because it was leaking. But it was also good because
- 9:28Speaker 7: my warranty that I got for it paid for it all.
- 9:31Speaker 6: Hey!
- 9:32Speaker 3: There you go.
- 9:33Speaker 1: You're smart with the warranty.
- 9:35Speaker 3: Oh, the old rack and pinion, I tell you what.
- 9:38Speaker 3: I had a nickel.
- 9:38Speaker 8: Well....
- 9:41Speaker 7: And then the second thing was I went to go
- 9:44Speaker 7: see Lindsey Stirling, actually, at the beginning of August.
- 9:47Speaker 3: Oh, yeah, that's great.
- 9:47Speaker 1: She's the violin player, right?
- 9:49Speaker 7: Yeah, she is the violin player.
- 9:51Speaker 8: She's actually pretty brilliant.
- 9:53Speaker 7: She does her own acrobatics while playing the.
- 9:55Speaker 3: Violin, Don't we all?
- 9:57Speaker 1: No, she's amazing.
- 9:58Speaker 3: Don't we all?
- 9:59Speaker 1: She is so talented.
- 10:01Speaker 7: Absolutely. Oh, yeah, I got to do all that.
- 10:04Speaker 3: Those are two very, very good ones.
- 10:06Speaker 1: Yeah, thank you, Alex.
- 10:08Speaker 2: Thank you for calling and sharing. It's Feel Good Friday.
- 10:11Speaker 2: If you want to share the best party of the
- 10:12Speaker 2: month for you, 303-691-1649.
- 10:13Speaker 3: Here's Mindy. Hi, Mindy.
- 10:19Speaker 12: Hello.
- 10:20Speaker 1: Hello.
- 10:22Speaker 6: All right.
- 10:22Speaker 3: What was the best part of August?
- 10:25Speaker 7: So, same sentiment as Katie, my daughter's birthday.
- 10:30Speaker 3: Oh, we got to let you go, Mindy.
- 10:31Speaker 8: No, we don't.
- 10:31Speaker 1: Let her talk about her daughter. We got to let
- 10:34Speaker 1: you go. What's your daughter's name, Mindy? Elise.
- 10:37Speaker 7: Elise.
- 10:38Speaker 4: Okay.
- 10:38Speaker 2: She's got a stranglehold on you as well, huh?
- 10:41Speaker 1: Oh, we love them.
- 10:42Speaker 6: She's my world.
- 10:44Speaker 1: Exactly. How old did she turn? What birthday was it?
- 10:48Speaker 7: The 20th.
- 10:48Speaker 12: That's a big one.
- 10:50Speaker 1: Come on, in your 20s?
- 10:51Speaker 3: What did you give her for her birthday? Definitely not independence.
- 10:57Speaker 6: She is so independent. It's scary.
- 11:00Speaker 11: Oh, my God.
- 11:03Speaker 6: But I gave her this really nice curling iron.
- 11:05Speaker 1: She has really long hair.
- 11:07Speaker 3: It's very nice.
- 11:08Speaker 11: It's a really good, expensive curling iron that she's wanted.
- 11:13Speaker 3: Those are not cheap.
- 11:15Speaker 6: Mindy?
- 11:16Speaker 3: I guess thank you for calling.
- 11:17Speaker 1: No, thank you so much. And happy birthday to your little,
- 11:20Speaker 1: she's a Leo too, right?
- 11:22Speaker 6: Happy birthday to baby Nana.
- 11:23Speaker 4: Oh, barf.
- 11:24Speaker 3: Thank you, Mindy. I'm going to go throw up in
- 11:27Speaker 3: the trash can now, Mindy. All right, I love you.
- 11:30Speaker 3: I love you. Have a good day.
- 11:32Speaker 12: Bye.
- 11:33Speaker 10: Bye.
- 11:33Speaker 3: Give me a break.
- 11:34Speaker 1: I love that.
- 11:36Speaker 3: Phone lines are still ringing.
- 11:37Speaker 2: Listen, guys, we're calling it Feel Good Friday if you
- 11:40Speaker 2: want to call in. And tell us the best part
- 11:42Speaker 2: of August for you. We want to talk to you.
- 11:45Speaker 2: We want to bring some smiles to the airwaves. Big
- 11:48Speaker 2: or small, doesn't matter. 303-691-1649. Let me do one more
- 11:52Speaker 2: before we play a quick song.
- 11:54Speaker 3: Here's Megan. Hi, Megan.
- 11:55Speaker 6: Hello.
- 11:56Speaker 3: Hello. Okay, the best part of August for you.
- 11:59Speaker 7: I bought my first house.
- 12:01Speaker 3: Yay!
- 12:03Speaker 1: Megan!
- 12:04Speaker 3: What part of town are you in?
- 12:06Speaker 8: Parker.
- 12:07Speaker 11: Nice.
- 12:07Speaker 3: Congrats.
- 12:09Speaker 4: You know, doing that in Colorado, that's a huge pat
- 12:12Speaker 4: on the back to you because that's not easily done.
- 12:14Speaker 3: Way to spend $ 700, 000. Way to go.
- 12:17Speaker 11: Pretty much, but it.
- 12:18Speaker 6: Was my ex-husband's money. So 20 months post-divorce, I finally.
- 12:22Speaker 7: Got my kids in my house.
- 12:25Speaker 1: This story got so much better.
- 12:26Speaker 8: Even better.
- 12:27Speaker 3: Fantastic, Megan. That's amazing. Thank you for calling. I forgot
- 12:31Speaker 3: to mention the best part of my month of August.
- 12:33Speaker 3: Went out and made a rather large purchase.
- 12:36Speaker 1: You did.
- 12:37Speaker 3: And it is so awesome. I love it so, so much, Katie.
- 12:43Speaker 6: You do?
- 12:44Speaker 3: It's a brand new deep freezer that we got in
- 12:46Speaker 3: the basement.
- 12:47Speaker 1: Oh, jeez.
- 12:48Speaker 3: I'm going to tell you, there's nothing better than getting
- 12:49Speaker 3: a brand new deep freeze. You know? The shelves are
- 12:52Speaker 3: nice and clean. Nothing is sticky.
- 12:54Speaker 1: You make a good point.
- 12:55Speaker 3: You really organize everything in the freezer.
- 12:57Speaker 1: Man, it's been a.
- 12:59Speaker 3: Good, good month. Here's Dominique. Hi, Dominique.
- 13:03Speaker 6: Good morning.
- 13:04Speaker 3: Good morning. What was the best part of your month
- 13:06Speaker 3: for Feel Good Friday?
- 13:09Speaker 6: Well, it happened last Saturday. I was accepted or I
- 13:13Speaker 6: received a scholarship to a playwriting workshop and I attended that.
- 13:18Speaker 6: And then I went on an audition, which I hadn't
- 13:20Speaker 6: done in five years for an improv show.
- 13:22Speaker 3: Well, you fancy.
- 13:23Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 13:24Speaker 3: I love this.
- 13:25Speaker 2: I did so much improv and stuff in high school
- 13:28Speaker 2: and college. This is like right up my alley, Dominique.
- 13:30Speaker 7: Yeah, it was a lot of fun.
- 13:32Speaker 6: I didn't get it, but that's the gig, right?
- 13:35Speaker 3: That's all right.
- 13:36Speaker 2: But good for you putting yourself out there.
- 13:38Speaker 3: I love it.
- 13:39Speaker 8: It was a lot of fun.
- 13:40Speaker 6: So thanks for letting me share. Happy Friday.
- 13:42Speaker 3: You too, Dominique. Have a great weekend. Way to go.
- 13:45Speaker 3: Here's Cody. Hi, Cody.
- 13:47Speaker 8: Hey, good morning, everybody.
- 13:48Speaker 3: Morning, buddy. Feel good Friday. What was the best part
- 13:51Speaker 3: of August for you?
- 13:53Speaker 8: My wife and I celebrated 11 years of marriage.
- 13:56Speaker 3: No way.
- 13:57Speaker 1: Oh, congratulations.
- 13:59Speaker 3: And they said it wouldn't last, Cody.
- 14:02Speaker 8: You'd be surprised what they said.
- 14:03Speaker 12: Right?
- 14:04Speaker 2: Hey, I'm going to tell you right now. My wife
- 14:06Speaker 2: and I are sneaking off. We're celebrating 20 years of marriage,
- 14:09Speaker 2: and I guarantee you, guarantee you her dad didn't think
- 14:12Speaker 2: it was going to last.
- 14:12Speaker 1: Oh, I'm sure.
- 14:14Speaker 8: Awesome. Congratulations.
- 14:17Speaker 3: Thanks, buddy.
- 14:17Speaker 1: Haters going to hate though, right?
- 14:18Speaker 3: I tell her dad to suck it. Did you get
- 14:20Speaker 3: her anything special for your anniversary? Any gift or anything?
- 14:24Speaker 8: Oh my gosh. We're going to try to keep it
- 14:25Speaker 8: feel good Friday. So a lot happened in the month
- 14:30Speaker 8: of August and some of it not so great. So
- 14:33Speaker 8: she actually stole me away and treated me To an
- 14:40Speaker 8: amazing date night that I did not see coming. We
- 14:43Speaker 8: had big plans. We had to cancel them. Stuff happened.
- 14:46Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 14:47Speaker 8: And then she was just like, hey, you're coming with me.
- 14:50Speaker 8: And she took me out and she got me a
- 14:52Speaker 8: replacement wedding ring because as I got older, my fingers
- 14:56Speaker 8: got fatter.
- 14:57Speaker 3: As they do.
- 14:59Speaker 8: Funny story, the ring doesn't fit, so I haven't been
- 15:03Speaker 8: able to wear a wedding ring for like three years.
- 15:06Speaker 8: I keep reminding her, man, people be looking at me.
- 15:09Speaker 2: I'm kind of a catch.
- 15:14Speaker 3: Cody, congratulations.
- 15:16Speaker 2: I got to get to a couple more quick calls,
- 15:18Speaker 2: but dude, thank you for calling in and congratulations to
- 15:21Speaker 2: you crazy kids.
- 15:22Speaker 8: Hey, thanks, brother. Have a great day.
- 15:24Speaker 3: Thanks, Cody. Betsy, Betsy.
- 15:29Speaker 5: Hello, hello.
- 15:30Speaker 3: Really quick, what was the best part of August for you?
- 15:33Speaker 7: So my youngest daughter just accepted a new job here
- 15:37Speaker 7: in Colorado, and she's moving home.
- 15:38Speaker 1: Yay! Coming back to the Centennial State.
- 15:43Speaker 3: What's her job?
- 15:44Speaker 7: She is going to be working for CSU Extension in
- 15:49Speaker 7: their SNEP program, which is Food Nutrition Education Program.
- 15:53Speaker 3: What a good gig.
- 15:55Speaker 1: That's amazing.
- 15:56Speaker 3: You've got to be a proud mama bear.
- 15:58Speaker 5: I sure am.
- 15:59Speaker 3: And so happy.
- 16:01Speaker 4: I'm so happy for you to be able to have
- 16:03Speaker 4: them in the vicinity of you.
- 16:04Speaker 2: Betsy, thank you for sharing for Feel Good Friday. I'm
- 16:06Speaker 2: going to squeeze in one more. Justin, good morning.
- 16:10Speaker 11: Hey, good morning.
- 16:10Speaker 3: Good morning, buddy. Okay, I'm going to try.
- 16:13Speaker 11: To get through this. I'm going to try to get
- 16:15Speaker 11: through this without losing it, Jer. It's all right.
- 16:17Speaker 3: I've cried on this show many times.
- 16:20Speaker 11: The best part of my month, and my month has
- 16:22Speaker 11: been epic. I got to take my kid to his
- 16:25Speaker 11: first stadium show. Great trip with him. But when you
- 16:30Speaker 11: were talking about Feel Good Friday and I was just
- 16:32Speaker 11: reflecting in my car after dropping my kid off to school,
- 16:36Speaker 11: like what the show has meant to us over the
- 16:38Speaker 11: last four years. And we started listening when I started
- 16:43Speaker 11: commuting with my kid to sixth grade. He's in 10th
- 16:47Speaker 11: grade now. And we were going through a transition with
- 16:51Speaker 11: our family. And it was right around the time when
- 16:54Speaker 11: you were going through a transition in the show. And
- 16:57Speaker 11: it was, it was the Dom and Jer show. And
- 17:01Speaker 11: we were going to school one time and we got
- 17:04Speaker 11: the news that you guys were like breaking up just
- 17:07Speaker 11: like our family was. And we were devastated. And I
- 17:11Speaker 11: was just reflecting on like all this transition and he's
- 17:14Speaker 11: had a rough time. And, um, and how the show
- 17:18Speaker 11: has been an anchor for us, like just bringing some
- 17:22Speaker 11: feel-good vibes and laughs every morning. And now that we're
- 17:26Speaker 11: going back to school again, I've been like, wow, your
- 17:30Speaker 11: show is kicking butt now. And this transition has worked
- 17:35Speaker 11: out really well for you all. And it just made
- 17:39Speaker 11: me feel like, hey, we're going to be okay.
- 17:42Speaker 3: We're going to be good.
- 17:43Speaker 1: You're going to be great.
- 17:44Speaker 3: We are going to be good.
- 17:45Speaker 2: And this show is, you know, we focus a lot
- 17:47Speaker 2: on families and friendships and good vibes. And I'm glad
- 17:53Speaker 2: that's rubbing off on you and your.
- 17:54Speaker 3: Family, buddy.
- 17:55Speaker 11: Yeah, it means a lot to us to just be
- 17:57Speaker 11: able to tune in every morning and hear y'all and
- 18:01Speaker 11: laugh with y'all and just feel good. And I really
- 18:06Speaker 11: appreciate what y'all bring. So thank you.
- 18:09Speaker 3: Thank you. This was a beautiful call, man. I'm tearing up.
- 18:13Speaker 1: A little bit.
- 18:14Speaker 7: I know.
- 18:14Speaker 1: It's brought me to tears over here. What is your
- 18:16Speaker 1: son's name, Justin?
- 18:18Speaker 11: His name is Kai.
- 18:19Speaker 8: Okay.
- 18:20Speaker 4: Hi, Kai.
- 18:20Speaker 3: Shout out to Justin and Kai this morning.
- 18:23Speaker 2: Can't thank you enough for riding the wave of the
- 18:26Speaker 2: changes here and loving what you hear.
- 18:28Speaker 3: I appreciate it. I really do.
- 18:30Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 18:31Speaker 3: Justin, have a great weekend, dude. Thank you.
- 18:34Speaker 9: Thank you.
- 18:35Speaker 2: Well, that right there was the cherry on top for me.
- 18:37Speaker 2: How incredibly kind. We will do this again at the
- 18:41Speaker 2: end of September. It's Feel Good Friday with JKJ here
- 18:45Speaker 2: at Mix.
