Transcript
- 0:00Man, what a stinker. Okay, So last night the Major League Baseball's
- 0:04Home Run Derby took place, and as an event, unbelievable. It's an
- 0:08event I love they of course, as most major sports events, have the
- 0:12national anthem before the game, before the event, and chosen to sing this
- 0:16national anthem in particular was country music singer songwriter Ingrid Andres great singer. Yeah,
- 0:23I mean you hear music and you're like, yeah, I mean,
- 0:26you know what they said it in the intro. Four time Grammy nominated Singer
- 0:30songwriter, So you think, Okay, this chick's legit. I don't know
- 0:32anything about her. I've done a little research since because of what happened.
- 0:36So Ingrid stands up there to sing the national anthem song we all know and
- 0:40love, and well she starts like this sack by the doms, I mean
- 0:52beautiful. That sounds great. Like the third note in there it seemed off,
- 0:57you know, Okay, I master. I am no pitch master,
- 1:02trust me, but I mean we all can kind of hear a bad note
- 1:03when you hear it. You know, for me, that sounded great,
- 1:07Like I wouldn't question that. I'd be like, Okay, you got a
- 1:08girl out of the gates. Yeah, you're like, okay, this is
- 1:11maybe just one hiccup, but later on it got a little more interesting,
- 1:15gets bad. The booms bust yayoo do the what lad? I mean?
- 1:38That is so bad. You should see the video. We've got it on
- 1:42our Facebook page. Even they pan because they do to the guys and the
- 1:49players. And there's one that is just I mean, you know that feeling
- 1:53when you're in school and you know you're not supposed to laugh, You can't,
- 1:57you can't help yourself. Just the virgin tiers. And it's not because
- 2:00it's the national anth No, no, it's And then of course the end,
- 2:06you know, I think the test of any national anthem performance when you
- 2:08get to this part bring it us the highest note. It's like, what
- 2:12are they gonna do with this big crescendo moment at the end of the song,
- 2:15and what did Ingrid Andres do with it? Of the of all?
- 2:36Right? Wow, I've never felt more like I could sing in my life
- 2:40like this makes me want to call the RedHawks and say, what you guys
- 2:46got I think I got some home games this weekend. You could do that?
- 2:49Give me a shot. I just don't know you feel bad because after
- 2:54a couple of those parts, I would have just stopped. I would have
- 2:57said, sorry, I'm not going to finish this song. It's too don't
- 3:00have anything. Yeah, And I watched like I did some research. She
- 3:02used to be she want a singing competition at some point back in the day.
- 3:07She's got hit music. I watched her tiny Desk concert with NPR,
- 3:12and that's a very like raw record, live recording. I don't know what
- 3:15happened here, and it's to a point I would put this in there,
- 3:19and I'm not trying to be rude. This is like the Roseanne bar national
- 3:23anthem. I wouldn't even count that because obviously Roseanne is a Rosanne and it's
- 3:27not supposed to be good. Like Little Richard back in the day also did
- 3:30a horrible one, but again, this is supposed to be an actual singer.
- 3:32Fergie got roasted for hers, which was pretty bad. But this,
- 3:37this is the worst one, a level of you did it on purpose.
- 3:42That's what I'm almost wondering. What does she need? Like of course everybody's
- 3:45talking about it. Everybody knows about her. I looked up her the rest
- 3:49of her music, so maybe would you ever want that kind they always say,
- 3:53like PR's pr no matter what it is when it comes, especially where
- 3:57we are in America right now, wouldn't she want to be like I just
- 4:00sang the national anthem so good, and I'm proud to be an American.
- 4:04Not that I don't. I don't know. I'm trying to think even if,
- 4:09because I listened to her again and it's not like she has this powerhouse
- 4:12voice. She's not like this incredible vocalist. He's got that real, like
- 4:15wispy kind of raspy voice. But it's everything I've seen is not that bad.
- 4:21Yea. Some people are saying she was drunk. I did not get
- 4:24that vibe at all. Can you play the very end one more time?
- 4:27Because she planned to do at least this rendition of the ending right something like
- 4:31this of yeah, that little folder, it just didn't quite hit and it's
- 4:46weird. Yeah, I don't know if she was drunk, because like I
- 4:48know, if I'm drunk, I sing even better. So it's oh you
- 4:50do yeah, and like karaoke and stuff, for sure, No hit you
- 4:55with your best shot? Are you kidding me? Pat Benatara has nothing on
- 4:58me at midnight? Godsh it's been a bit, but that's my jam,
- 5:01is that right? It is nice one of my faves. That's a good
- 5:06tune. Yep, if you want to do it, you want to do
- 5:10a little bit of it. I think I'm good just like a bit.
- 5:13You're a real tough cookie with the long history for breaking little house like I
- 5:19think I'd rather hear this sorry, like an in the morning, big naety
- 5:25eight point seven. I'd like to report a missing well not a person,
- 5:29but a missing lama anyway, a missing lama. Yeah, allama's gone missing,
- 5:33Amanda. It's very sad, you know, and you know why the
- 5:36lama went missing. No where was the lama at originally at a lama farm,
- 5:42understandably, but it's kind of like, you know, you've seen a
- 5:45lot around here, like there's all these missing people, and then you'll read
- 5:48it and it's, oh, it's a runaway. They're running away, which
- 5:51is still scary for the family, for the family of this lama. The
- 5:56lama just took off, and you want to know why why the lama took
- 6:00off. There wasn't trouble at home, not he wasn't getting along with his
- 6:04parents, bad breakup, nothing like that, nothing like that. It was
- 6:08time for the lama to go to the dentist. They were literally coming in
- 6:12this Lama farm. They were coming in to give the Lama, who's by
- 6:15the way, called Jeffrey, Jeffrey Hillama set to have a dental cleaning.
- 6:19So the dentist comes obviously to the Lama farm. They're not bringing the lamas
- 6:24to the dentist. They got it. They do house calls table. I'm
- 6:28assuming when the Lama saw the let's just say the big old drug, that's
- 6:31a Lama dentist. Of course he read that and went, oh, hell
- 6:36no, I don't want get a noise lamas make. It's not like a
- 6:42I think they just scream like humans. You've never heard of lamas. I
- 6:46see. I feel like that's a goet. I'm a little nervous. Are
- 6:48you pulling up Lama sounds right now? Working on it best I can get
- 6:54you as a goat sound. Gotta be close though, So Jeffrey just bolts,
- 6:59takes off and on picture and the dentist coming in with like a couple
- 7:01big like scalpels, like holding them straight out all right, Jeffrey, imagine
- 7:05how big that mirror's got to be. Oh yeah, that mirror. Why
- 7:11are they always so rough with it? Did you? Did you have a
- 7:14dentist like that growing up? So growing up I was scared to death of
- 7:18the dentist. I mean, I had gravity is and the thought of going
- 7:21to the dentist was horrifying. And it just felt like they were always like
- 7:27I mean that little pick, That's what I'm saying, the mirror in the
- 7:29pick. And a lot of it was because I probably didn't have the best
- 7:31dental hygiene and they didn't have like the flawsticks when we were growing up.
- 7:35No, those are a relatively new invention, and those I think have made
- 7:38it a lot easier. Like we tried to get our kids to do that,
- 7:41but that was the worst part, Like your gums would start bleeding.
- 7:44You're like, are you physically attacking me? But Nanda is it's so different.
- 7:46Yeah, you just put them in the car. I know, having
- 7:48to wrap the floss around your fingers feels like you're gonna literally just slice them
- 7:53through your fingers. I know. I went to the dentist. So there's
- 7:55one on It's not there anymore. It was on University. It's right over
- 7:58here off thirteenth Universe. Little dentist. It was like a pediatric dentist.
- 8:01Doctor Hunter was his name, and I'm sure he's a great guy. I
- 8:05just remember going there a lot of my child that you know, it's one
- 8:07of those places, one of those core memories as a kid, call it
- 8:11sitting in the lobby of this dentist. Wasn't it always for you to the
- 8:13smell? It doesn't matter, It's just like anything. I don't know if
- 8:16I'm necessarily scared of needles or if it's the smell of the alcohol rub they
- 8:20put on before the needle that kind of like sensory wise, you just start
- 8:24going like, oh gosh, this is gonna happen. It's like the rubber
- 8:26gloves in your mouth. But it would always be a yeah, right,
- 8:31it would be the nice like dental hygienis whatever. It's always a sweet lady,
- 8:35you know, asking you about school and everything. But then in comes
- 8:37the big bad dentist. It's like good cop, bad cop. He comes
- 8:41in with the scalpel and just starts tearing away at your gums. It doesn't
- 8:45say a word, you know, He's I'm like, oh, not good
- 8:48or what? And it generally wasn't big cavity guy, Yeah, you got
- 8:54you gotta keep up with your dental hygiene. That's the thing I tell my
- 8:56kids because of how bad it was. It's growing up with cavities and all
- 9:01that stuff. With me. I'm like, nope, you gotta just got
- 9:03lost. And it turns out it doesn't work if you just flosh the day
- 9:07that you're going to the dentist. It's like they can tell or something.
- 9:09Do we have an update though? Do we know where the went missing?
- 9:13Presumed dead? You just made that presume dead up? I mean, probably
- 9:18just just waiting, just waiting for the dentist truck to wait. This is
- 9:22across the road. It'll come back. I did a minut in the morning.
- 9:28Seven. You know, we were allied to. We relied to a
- 9:30lot growing up. You might remember if you were maybe a child like oh,
- 9:33in the nineties. Oh yeah, I remember online they were talking about
- 9:37the lies their parents told them back in the nineties. See if you can
- 9:41relate to any of these, such as, if you pee in the pool,
- 9:45it's gonna turn blue, So turn blue. It already was blue.
- 9:50I thought it would turn green or something like it was a different color.
- 9:52But I totally ended up believing that the older I got. I was like,
- 9:56did they come up with something? Did they come off? Now as
- 10:01an old, wise adult, one thing I know about pool is if they
- 10:03were really turning blue when you feeding them, it would be the darkest blue
- 10:07you've ever seen. Oh my gosh, the deep blue sing. I think
- 10:11the water was clear. I think it was the bottom of the pool that
- 10:13was blue. Oh really, you have a kid, I mean you've drank
- 10:20water? The heck you're doing it now? Yeah? No, But I
- 10:22thought I thought chlorine made it blue. So you're telling me if you have
- 10:26the public pool and you take like a clear glass and you scoop up something,
- 10:31you're right, You're right, you're right. I'm thinking it looks similar
- 10:33to the water you're drinking. Uh no, this's good. We're learning,
- 10:37we're learning. They say, remember they told you that you can't drink coffee
- 10:41it'll stunt your growth. Yes, total lie, total fabrication. I remember
- 10:48that even come from. And why why did they not? I mean,
- 10:50I guess because caffeine it's a drug. But didn't we drank a lot of
- 10:54soda pop? Well? That and I think coffee was just such a that's
- 10:58what your grandparents are. Your parents in Strenk And it's amazing to me now
- 11:03how many kids are drinking that and when you look at some no, but
- 11:07yes they are because they think it's so cool. They have coffee shops in
- 11:09miss Listen. My wife's sister just graduated high school, but she'd always want
- 11:15to go to Starbucks since she was eleven years old, and we'd go there,
- 11:18and what she was drinking, like, there's so much sugar and cream
- 11:22like that is not coffee. Yeah. No, they're doing like mocha choka
- 11:26lata yah yas. But I mean there's just no what is that? What
- 11:31is that a meme? No, it's a song kind of you know,
- 11:35what's what I'm talking about? Yeah, so I made up my own butt
- 11:41listened. Okay, you think of like the energy drinks and things like that.
- 11:48I would probably rather have my kid have coffee than some of the things
- 11:50that are in those Yeah, yeah, sorry, I was just thinking about
- 11:54that song. No, I agree. I always to listen. When I
- 11:58first started hunting my growth, which obviously it worked, I remember telling myself,
- 12:03I'm not going to put anything in this, you know, if I'm
- 12:05going to do this, if I'm going to join this club of coffee drinkers.
- 12:09I can't like it. I can't be spending a lot of money on
- 12:11it. I'm going to do it every day, and I can't be drinking
- 12:13a lot of calories and sugar. So that's how you go. That's how
- 12:16cool I am now. Also lives. They told you in the nineties you
- 12:22can't drive with the interior light on. It's illegal. You know, the
- 12:26dome light in the in the vehicle, that's not illegal. No, that
- 12:30is perfectly fine. They're not regulating what lights you can have on in your
- 12:33vehicle, are Yeah, sure, because that is definitely a huge distraction a
- 12:37car literally has been. Like the beam headlights that exist now, that's not
- 12:43as distracting as they But I'm saying when you're in your vehicle and there's a
- 12:46light on in there, that's super districtly distracting, the one, especially right
- 12:52above where the driver is, I mean the kids in the back. That's
- 12:54one thing. You're in rooms with lights on all day, But if you're
- 12:58it's dark outside and you have a light on, it's just that is distracting.
- 13:03No, it's distracting because when that light's on, that means somebody's digging
- 13:09around for something. You know. What else is distracting is when I'm trying
- 13:11to find something and I have to turn the radio down because that's a problem
- 13:18so you can see better. Exactly why is that? I know there's something,
- 13:22there's something with your brain, and you do it like everybody does it.
- 13:26I think it's just a focus thing, like I can't be enjoying a
- 13:28song from locking in mentally and finally Lives they told you in the nineties cracking
- 13:35your knuckles gonna give you arthritis. I still believe that. Really, don't
- 13:39you crack your nuckles all the time? And how much arthritis would you say
- 13:41you have? They're sore, but that could be just because I scroll a
- 13:45lot on my phone. Yeah, I've never cracked my knuckle really, you
- 13:48know, only on accident, and I freak out. I don't like it.
- 13:50I've been a little bit more sensitive about it because my kids started noticing
- 13:54and they're like, we want to do that, and like, no,
- 13:56no, because in my mind, well, bike, they're gonna get on.
- 14:01Amanda in the Morning on Sage seven and now Amanda stills the Sea looks
- 14:07See Gradual by JDB Electric. Yesterday we were talking about unfortunately all the people
- 14:13in Hollywood who passed over the weekend, and now we are getting a few
- 14:18more details. Like Shannon Doherty. She actually ended up recording her podcast five
- 14:22more episodes. Up until last week she was still on and yesterday they aired
- 14:26one of them and just said how she's going to be missed, but also
- 14:28she was just so motivated determined just to let people know her journey and where
- 14:33she was going. Also, we found out that the day before she died,
- 14:37she officially signed off on her divorce papers and her ex husband then the
- 14:41day she died, not knowing that was going to be the day she died,
- 14:43he later signed as well, isn't that crazy? Yeah, so he
- 14:46won't be getting anything, which is what she wanted. So that's good that
- 14:50that was able to happen beforehand. I wonder if the episodes that you recorded,
- 14:54did she she didn't know that, like they would be released now,
- 14:56I'm gonna hit you with a word here, you're gonna be You're gonna be
- 14:58impressed posthumously what have you been reading and watching lately? Although posthumously after her
- 15:07death, So I think she probably knew at some point it was going to
- 15:13get to that point, and she i know that, but I mean,
- 15:16like in these episodes, is she like aware, like, hey, if
- 15:18you're listening to this, I'm dead. Oh yeah, I don't know.
- 15:22I really don't know how sudden it was. I know she was obviously surrounded
- 15:26by loved ones and she knew that her fight was coming to an end.
- 15:28But yeah, it's it's just so sad, very sad. Richard Simmons also
- 15:33passed away, and we're finally finding out some more details. Apparently he refused
- 15:37medical attention, so he said he was feeling dizzy. His housekeeper was at
- 15:41his house and he fell inside of his home. Now, this was the
- 15:45day of his birthday, and he said, I'm not going to the doctor.
- 15:46She's like, you really need to go. He's like, no,
- 15:48I want to enjoy my birthday at home. If I still feel gross tomorrow,
- 15:52i'll go in. She showed up the next day and he was unresponsive
- 15:56next to his bed on the floor. That's horribly said, isn't that awful?
- 16:00Us go in? I just it's so frustrating when you have somebody that
- 16:03you just you know they should go in and they're just so stubborn. I
- 16:06swear the older they get, the worse they are it'll be fine, no
- 16:08big deal, I know, and Taylor Swift fans are determined and they believe
- 16:17that everything that happened in Milan over the weekend was all a setup for Taylor's
- 16:21reputation. Her version is supposed to be coming out. I feel like we've
- 16:25been talking about this for it feels like years. Everybody thought that that's what
- 16:30the Tortured POD's Department announcement was going to be. But no, she has
- 16:33two other albums and she still hasn't done this. I'm guessing that it'll eventually
- 16:37happens. It is happening, like that's the thing that I so right now.
- 16:42I mean, don't you think she's done so much right now that it
- 16:45would be crazy? No, because the other ones come out and it's really
- 16:48it's a big deal for that day, but it's a re release of an
- 16:52album that's existed for years. Do you want to know what the easter egg
- 16:56is that they think? Yeah, she dropps, they will, they'll find
- 16:59an eastdragg about anything. Well, she was in Milan and I guess her
- 17:02piano kind of stopped working and it had like a relatable, like a hiss
- 17:06sound, So they thought that that was all set up, and that hiss
- 17:10is the snake of course, the emotion reputations for the reputation, Yeah,
- 17:15album, what are your thoughts on that pipe. I just think it's terribly
- 17:18stupid, all of it. But you're not going wild. Hey, I'm
- 17:25just jealous that fans like that can get so like feel joy in such small
- 17:30potatoes. But I feel like you get this way with Blink one two.
- 17:34Yeah, I mean there was a time for sure. I still of course,
- 17:37you know, like they just announced like they're releasing a deluxe version of
- 17:41the album they put out last year. It's like, yeah, that's exciting.
- 17:42But I'm not, like you're not awaken out scouring the internet for Easter
- 17:47eggs, you know, trying to figure out what I would be as passionate
- 17:48about the happy Harry's Penny Wine saale when that list comes out. Ye I
- 17:53am there A dustn't been dropping Easter eggs as he No. I just kind
- 17:57of know. He gives me like a two week notice. But I think
- 18:00overall we all know, like a in the morning on Big Nutty eight point
- 18:07seven, it's about that time. Now, what do we ten days away?
- 18:12Ten days from the summer Olympics of twenty twenty four taking place in Paris,
- 18:17of course, and GIVERR Watson wonder how much are these people getting paid?
- 18:21You know, because you see the athletes. Oh, okay, I
- 18:26know that the newspeople. Let's get oonder like oh like Snoop Dogg. He's
- 18:32gonna be one of the commentators this year. I'm guessing he gets paid more
- 18:34than the athletes, right, because you know, other than the big ones,
- 18:40there's Simone Biles, the Michael Phelps of the world where there they're millionaires
- 18:42because of all their sponsorships and endorsement to what have you. Yeah, Peyton
- 18:45otterdal here from North Dakota. He went to NDSU. He's a shot putter.
- 18:51I don't think we asked him the last go around, but I remember
- 18:52it not be the situation wasn't as glorious as you would think. He went
- 18:59to the I don't think he medled. No, I'm guessing he got a
- 19:02big check for zero dollars. I mean they might support you. I mean
- 19:07I hope they get like a stipend, you know, from travel expenses maybe,
- 19:11and you would hope there'd be some sort of endorsement deal, even on
- 19:14a low level whatever it may be. Yeah, but overall, the US
- 19:18pays pretty pretty little compared to some other countries. So in the US,
- 19:22if you get a gold medal, the best at the best in the world,
- 19:26at whatever it is, you do thirty seven five hundred dollars for every
- 19:30gold medal. That's it. Yeah, that's it. Now if you get
- 19:33a silver, which you know in some of these races, it's like,
- 19:36that's the difference of point zero three seconds literally the tip of your nose.
- 19:41Yes, Now that's going to cost you another you know, fifteen thousand dollars
- 19:45because silver you get twenty two thousand, five hundred, Okay, down to
- 19:48bronze, where you only get fifteen thousand, and after that, I'm thinking
- 19:52it's again probably zero. And again this is just kind of not to compare
- 19:56apples to apples, but the or apples to orange. I think that's the
- 20:00one you want. I think that'd be fair to do that. I'll go
- 20:03apples and oranges. Sure, maybe it is apples and apples bike. But
- 20:07Caitlin Clark not getting paid a lot for the WNBA, but yet she's getting
- 20:11an insane amount of endorsement deals. Much like if you're going to get a
- 20:15gold, silver, or bronze, you're going to be more of a household
- 20:17name probably and you're going to be more app to get something like that.
- 20:21Well, yeah, it is apples and rnges. Being that the WNBA is
- 20:23like a for profit business, true, whereas the Olympics are it's like some
- 20:27weird I don't know, government games. It's just kind of odd, you
- 20:30know, because who's paying? What's the government or the Olympic Committee? Yea.
- 20:34And so look at like Serbia, I know you like Serbia, they're
- 20:38paying their gold medalists two hundred and fourteen thousand dollars. Holy smokes, they're
- 20:44like superheroes now is it because? And I don't I don't want to speak
- 20:48out of turn, I don't know what's good at for it. But do
- 20:51they know they're just not going to have any gold medalists, So they're like,
- 20:53well we might as well just if we do on the off chance get
- 20:56one. What does pay them a ton? Malaysia right behind them two hundred
- 21:02and twelve thousand. Morocco coughing up two hundred k for any gold medalist.
- 21:07Yeah, there's a lot of countries paying a lot more than the US we're
- 21:10down with the likes of Lichtenstein. You ever been. I've never been to
- 21:17old Lichtenstein. You know, where's that? Where am I going to find
- 21:19myself to a Stein? Where am I going to find Lichtenstein? That's a
- 21:23good question. Do we have a globe? Do you have like a globe
- 21:26or an atlas? An atlas? I think you do? Like on you
- 21:30right now? Oh no, no, no, no, I have a
- 21:33thing called Google. Would you like me to look at Lichtenstein? Yeah,
- 21:37I'm looking at up. My my god, it looks beautiful. Look at
- 21:41that. If you're driving right now, whenever you get where you're going,
- 21:45do yourself a favor. Google lichten Stin my gosh, it's bordered by Switzerland.
- 21:48I think I think I might hit up a little Lichtenstein sometimes. Yeah,
- 21:52it's been a week and in Lichtenstein. Yeah, I've been. Uh.
- 21:56That's unfortunate though, because they put so much time and effort into what
- 22:00they're doing, and that just doesn't feel that doesn't feel like it's just all
- 22:03about the glory. I compared to winning a fantasy football championship. It's not
- 22:07about the payday, it's about the glory. Really. Yeah, it's very
- 22:11similar. I don't think so like it Amna in the morning, come on,
- 22:17get up on Big seven. I don't know if you did you do
- 22:21a gender revealed party for either of your children. We didn't do a party
- 22:25for the for Sydney. One of my girlfriends found out and she worked with
- 22:32you guys, remember you did it, and you guys silly string to Nick.
- 22:37You know what we did. We my husband and mostly it was most
- 22:41of the silly string was kind of localized in his genital area. Yeah,
- 22:47he was really upset because you ruined a Dema jeans and those were his favorite
- 22:52jeans. But yeah, that's how we found out about Sidney. Luanne and
- 22:55then with Briggs, we just answered the phone and they told us it was
- 22:59going to be. We're just so excited about Some people just aren't into them.
- 23:03And this mom who's gone viral now, she was not into them at
- 23:07all. She's having her first kid. She never liked gender reveal parties,
- 23:10did not want to have one. In fact, told everybody she found out
- 23:14via the phone, like you, and she told her family and well her
- 23:18dad's girlfriend, oh three years No, was all on her, like no,
- 23:23you gotta have a gender reveal party. She's like, no, no,
- 23:26I don't want one. Well, one day she's supposed to this mom
- 23:30supposed to meet up with this woman, the dad's girlfriend, who you can
- 23:33imagine how close they are. They're supposed to go out or meet at the
- 23:37apartment. Well she shows up and out comes twelve people yelling surprise. This
- 23:45is just not a good idea. It's when somebody says no, especially in
- 23:48these situations. I have a girlfriend who's about to turn forty, and we're
- 23:52close enough where I've brought it up numerous times, like are you sure,
- 23:56no, positive you don't like I get you don't want it to be a
- 23:59surprise. Like, I'm on board with that, But do you want me
- 24:02to create a get together? Absolutely not. I'm socially awkward. I want
- 24:06nothing to do with it. Sure, So if I were to do that,
- 24:10it's not like she's gonna just oh, that was so great. She's
- 24:12gonna be anoy she's gonna be angry. Well, this is what this mom
- 24:15did. She walks in and first of all, here's who she sees.
- 24:18It's literally the girlfriend, her mom, then the mom here, the mother
- 24:23in law, so not even her own mother. But then there's like a
- 24:26few of her friends sprinkled in, so she sees them and she's and the
- 24:30mom of the dad or the girlfriend of the dad goes, it's a surprise
- 24:33gender reveal party. Well, this mom she just straight up goes, it's
- 24:37a boy. You can all leave. Oh, just not happy despoils it
- 24:41because they had she literally went out of the way to get the you know,
- 24:45because she had already told this girlfriend the gender. So it was not
- 24:49a surprise to the mom. Isn't that the whole thing? Yeah, I
- 24:52don't understand. It's a reverse gender reveal party, Like I already know.
- 24:56So this is just from my friends to find out. Yeah, you stupid,
- 25:00You were better off just starting to plan the baby shower. Well,
- 25:03and that's what she said in this post that's gone viral, is like I'm
- 25:07all about a baby shower because that seems to be more about the baby rather
- 25:11than just like the gender. Yeah, I think they've gotten pretty out of
- 25:17control. Well they were out of control. I feel like we've dialed it
- 25:19back, don't you a little bit. It seemed to be everybody agreed,
- 25:22okay, because people were dying. First of all. Yeah, I mean
- 25:26people, Well, the thing is, is it just goes back to anything
- 25:29social media. I think people were doing it to see how big they could
- 25:33make it and whatever. But I have nothing wrong with the gentle reveal.
- 25:36I think they're super sweet. That moment too, like in finding out is
- 25:41great and if you want to be around the people you love. But that's
- 25:42for me, that's totally on the husband and wife. Absolutely, they get
- 25:48to decide. Yeah, I just yeah, to me, if you're already
- 25:49in the know, what the heck is the surprise? Gosh, I wonder
- 25:53if it's gonna be blue confetti or pink. I mean, yeah, that's
- 25:59how they do it. Yeah, I don't know. I don't know what
- 26:00I would want, because you know, it'd be pretty exciting if you didn't
- 26:03find out at all and just wait, you know, I don't know,
- 26:07because then I feel like I feel like it's already exciting enough when the birth
- 26:11would happen, you know, when the baby actually see the baby, whether
- 26:14you know the gender or not correct, because like, why not add another
- 26:17moment of excitement by finding out beforehand? So having had instantly finding out that
- 26:22said and Briggs genders, it was just I'm a type A personally. I
- 26:26wanted to know if I would have had a baby number three for sure would
- 26:30have waited like, there's something about it. Now after you've gone through it,
- 26:33I'm like, gosh, that moment, well you're in there and not
- 26:37knowing what's coming out. I know that would be mind blowing to me.
- 26:40And I have a lot of family members that went that route. Yeah,
- 26:42same, I think. I mean it's like a whole new level of emotions
- 26:45for sure. Right then you you really have to be like kind of peeking,
- 26:48like did I see what I think I saw there? Could I have
- 26:51a closure? Look, I would be dissecting the ultrasound pictures like crazy.
- 26:56That's one job I would hate to have because medical doctor. Yeah, no,
- 27:00when you're going through the ultrasound, like looking at him because it's easy
- 27:03to go oh he or she, and you have to I mean, you
- 27:07have to be on guard in those moments because people don't want to find out
- 27:10oh like accidentally slipping up. Yeah yeah, I thought you, like reading
- 27:14the sound. I wouldn't do good at that either. No, No,
- 27:17I don't think you could identify anything. Nope. It in the morning Big
- 27:22nainety eight point seven trending. Now here's what you need to know. Well,
- 27:27We've been waiting to see what was going to happen, and yesterday we
- 27:30found out Donald Trump picked Ohio Senator JD. Vances his running mate. Vance,
- 27:34who will turn forty next month, will be the third youngest vice president
- 27:37in American history if it goes that direction. It was the first night of
- 27:41the Republican National Convention. Trump did take the stage. The crowd was chanting
- 27:45USA before they broke into the chance of fights. Your ear was all bandaged
- 27:53up, bandaged dear? Yeah here why? Yeah? Which part? Just
- 28:02everything about it, the fact that it happened, how close it was.
- 28:06We're getting more details still. The US officials told NBC News yesterday that local
- 28:11enforcement officers notified the Secret Service Detail that they were looking for a suspicious person
- 28:15in the area. Yeah, we've all seen videos. Whether you want to
- 28:18believe it or not. Some people think a lot of it's like AI generated,
- 28:21But I've seen some videos that are very much You can see a guy
- 28:23getting up there and people knew that he was on the belt. Yeah,
- 28:26those seem to be legitimate, and it's crazy. I think a minute and
- 28:30forty five seconds had gone by where the people are yelling there's a guy in
- 28:34the roof. Hey, what's he doing up there? And for him to
- 28:37still be able to get that many shots up race. Hard to wrap your
- 28:41head around that, right. President Biden, By the way, he did
- 28:44sit down for an interview yesterday with Lester Holt. During the interview, they
- 28:48talked about his age once again. He understands why people say, God,
- 28:51he's eighty one years old. Whoa what's he going to be like when he's
- 28:53eighty three eighty four? It's a legitimate question, he said. The President
- 28:57made it very clear he's not going to be with jarn from the race.
- 29:00When asked who he consults on issues like remaining in the race, he said
- 29:03me, I've been doing it a long time. Yes, you have eighty
- 29:07somebodyors Yeah, that's that Vice President pick. What's the guy's named Vance?
- 29:15Vance? JD Vance? Half? His age not old enough? If you
- 29:18ask me like him? I like him eighty plus? You know. Yeah,
- 29:23you're just saying stuff now. I don't know what to Yeah, what
- 29:26else? Do you got anything else? I can say? Yeah? Today
- 29:27is Amazon Prime Day. It runs through tomorrow. There's a lot of different
- 29:30offers. I've been kind of scrolling through. If you're looking for like any
- 29:34sort of electronics, especially the Apison app excuse me, Amazon version of like
- 29:40the Fire of the Kindle. Those are like sixty five percent off for some
- 29:42of those bulk maybe items for snacks for your kids. I know, I
- 29:48got the West Fargo Public Schools supply list yesterday, so I put that in
- 29:52there. Saved about ten bucks from what it would have been yesterday. Nice.
- 29:55What have they got on there these days? Pro tractors Nope, no
- 29:57pro tractors. Tractor tissues kind of the same we did tissues, Crans markers,
- 30:04glue stick, glue stick yep, more glou sticks than the liquid glue.
- 30:08Only the one liquid glue. Yeah. I just never understood they have
- 30:11glue sticks. Why are we messing around with this liquid stuff? I think
- 30:14it depends on Sometimes you create things that you need the a little bit stickier.
- 30:18I feel like the glu stick doesn't get a job. If anything,
- 30:22the liquid glue it's just you know that case. It's definitely a message.
- 30:25Construction paper getting all soggy if you used too much of it, did you
- 30:27remember using and I don't know what it was. Of course the smell of
- 30:30it, which is a little weird, but rubber cement. Whenever they brought
- 30:33out the rubber cement to create something, it was good. Wow, I
- 30:37know we're about to do a big project. I'm trying to not to not
- 30:41to get all the nostalgic here. But when's the last time you use Like
- 30:44you just stop using glue at a certain age and then you never use it
- 30:48again. I have kids, so now we're using the glue sticks. They
- 30:52love making things in creating. But yeah, yes, sir, you're just
- 30:56your auxiliary to like the glue. I mean, it's not you on your
- 30:59own going on. Oh like I'm at the office. Oh geez, I
- 31:02need a glue stick. Right, stapler seems to do the trick for everything.
- 31:06Yeah, or I just spit on it, give it the Hawk tool,
- 31:10okay, Sunshine today, Hi a seventy eight. It doesn't it's not
- 31:15adhesive, I'm kidding. Unless it's an envelope, That's what I'm thinking of.
- 31:19You lick the envelope, that's what it is. Even then, don't
- 31:23you, especially you probably don't send out Christmas cards. I'll grab a napkin
- 31:27get it wet, because I'm not licking that thing over and over again.
- 31:30Are you kidding me? You can use a wet napkin, yes, adhesive
- 31:34really, I guess. Call me old fashion. Okay, old fashion,
