Speaker 1: well now what are you gonna? Do and we have
• 2:56
Speaker 1: now taken from The president's, words we have taken that.
• 3:00
Speaker 2: Ship, well here's What President trump put out on Truth social.
• 3:05
Speaker 2: Today An iranian flagged carbo ship Named, tuska nearly nine
• 3:10
Speaker 2: hundred foot long and weighing almost as much as an aircraft,
• 3:13
Speaker 2: carrier tried to get past our naval blockade and it
• 3:17
Speaker 2: did not go well for. Them THE Us navy guided
• 3:20
Speaker 2: missile DESTROYER Uss spruance intercepted The tusca in The gulf
• 3:25
Speaker 2: Of oman and gave them fair warning to. Stop The
• 3:29
Speaker 2: iranian crew refused to, listen so our navy ships stopped
• 3:33
Speaker 2: them right in their tracks by blowing a hole in
• 3:38
Speaker 2: their engine. Room right, NOW Us marines have custody of the.
• 3:42
Speaker 2: Vessel The tusca is UNDER Us treasury sanctions because of
• 3:45
Speaker 2: their prior history of illegal. Activity we have full custody
• 3:50
Speaker 2: of the ship and are seeing what's on board that
• 3:54
Speaker 2: is clear and. Unequivocal it'll be interesting to see tomorrow
• 3:57
Speaker 2: if The iranians try to run the blockade. AGAIN i
• 3:59
Speaker 2: predicted they try to run the blockade, again the same
• 4:02
Speaker 2: thing will. Result and at the end of the, day
• 4:04
Speaker 2: if you're a tanker full of, oil you're not gonna
• 4:07
Speaker 2: do very well against The United States. Navy.
• 4:09
Speaker 1: Yeah what was also interesting about, this this attack on this.
• 4:12
Speaker 1: Ship and this is the part WHERE i laugh because
• 4:15
Speaker 1: online they're, like, oh this is gonna be x Sound
• 4:18
Speaker 1: valdez AND i can't Believe america is doing. This, no, no,
• 4:21
Speaker 1: no this was very surgical. Strike we knew what we
• 4:24
Speaker 1: were aiming. For we knew we were going to take the.
• 4:26
Speaker 1: Ship we knew it was going to be dead in the.
• 4:28
Speaker 1: Water this was flawlessly done and well planned out. Beforehand
• 4:33
Speaker 1: and so for all those are LIKE i can't Believe
• 4:35
Speaker 1: america did, this, like you should be proud of this.
• 4:37
Speaker 1: Moment and we also gave six hours of. Warning we
• 4:41
Speaker 1: did radio, calls we had, flares we even had boats
• 4:44
Speaker 1: go in front of.
• 4:45
Speaker 3: It, like we did.
• 4:46
Speaker 1: Everything that we could have done in a six hour time,
• 4:50
  Speaker 1: span clearly on.
• 4:51
Speaker 3: VIDEO i love that this video has.
• 4:53
Speaker 1: Been put out because it's important that people see exactly
• 4:56
Speaker 1: we did everything we could to make sure this ship
• 4:58
Speaker 1: turned around and stopped it, refused and there were consequences
• 5:02
  Speaker 1: for those.
• 5:02
Speaker 2: Actions, yes that's. Right and, look it's not an accident
• 5:07
Speaker 2: that we hit the engine. Room we incapacitated the, ship
• 5:09
Speaker 2: made it unable to move, forward and then boarded the
• 5:11
Speaker 2: ship and took over the. Ship and you could fully
• 5:14
Speaker 2: anticipate if any other ships tried to run the blockade
• 5:17
Speaker 2: the same the same thing will. Result at the same,
• 5:20
Speaker 2: time we have a second story that, broke which is
• 5:22
Speaker 2: the federal government has arrested An iranian woman at lax
• 5:27
Speaker 2: right before she was about to get on a flight To.
• 5:30
Speaker 2: Turkey Charmine mafi is accused of Brokering iranian, bombs, weapons,
• 5:38
Speaker 2: drones and ammunition To. Sudan, mafi who lives In, la
• 5:43
Speaker 2: allegedly broker quote millions of rounds of ammunitions For. Iran
• 5:49
Speaker 2: THE feds say one of her contracts was worth sixty
• 5:53
Speaker 2: million euros and it was to broker the sale Of
• 5:56
Speaker 2: iranian made drones Between iran And. Sudan in another, Instance
• 6:02
Speaker 2: mafia and her co conspirator allegedly sold fifty five thousand
• 6:08
Speaker 2: bomb fuses to the Student.
• 6:10
  Speaker 3: Ede by the.
• 6:10
Speaker 2: Military that is a. Lot and here's What President trump
• 6:18
Speaker 2: put out Concerning. Iran, look we're cutting off their, Money
• 6:20
Speaker 2: we're arresting people who are trafficking in. Arms And President
• 6:24
Speaker 2: trump put out on true social, quote we're offering a
• 6:30
Speaker 2: very fair and reasonable. Deal if they, don't The United
• 6:35
Speaker 2: states is going to knock out every single power plant
• 6:40
Speaker 2: and every single bridge In. Iran and then in all,
• 6:45
Speaker 2: caps no. More mister nice. GUY i gotta say pause
• 6:51
Speaker 2: for a. Second if you're An Iranian, mulla you read
• 6:55
Speaker 2: that and you got to, think mister nice, Guy holy. Crap, Yeah,
• 6:58
Speaker 2: like in two two, months just about every single ballistic
• 7:02
Speaker 2: missile's been taken. Out just about every single factory manufacturing
• 7:06
Speaker 2: ballistic missiles have been taken. Out all of their air
• 7:08
Speaker 2: defenses have been taken, out all of their drones have
• 7:11
Speaker 2: been taken, out all of their drone manufacturing capability has
• 7:14
Speaker 2: been taken. Out their air force has been taken. Out
• 7:17
Speaker 2: their navy is sunk and sitting at the bottom of the.
• 7:20
Speaker 2: Ocean The ayatola is, dead the entire senior military leadership is.
• 7:24
Speaker 2: Dead and now they have a blockade Where iran can't
• 7:28
Speaker 2: take in or out any. Oil and by the, way
• 7:30
Speaker 2: we're about a week away From iran having to shut in.
• 7:33
Speaker 2: Wells and if and When iran shuts in, wells the.
• 7:36
Speaker 1: Consequences people understand how significant shutting in wells.
• 7:41
Speaker 2: Is so they're producing, oil and when you're producing, oil
• 7:46
Speaker 2: you're pumping it, out you're loading it into tankers and it's. Moving,
• 7:48
Speaker 2: now the problem is they don't have enough storage. Capacity
• 7:51
Speaker 2: they're continuing to pump millions of barrels of oil and
• 7:54
Speaker 2: they got to have a place to put. It and
• 7:56
Speaker 2: if they're not allowed to put it on tankers and
• 7:57
Speaker 2: take it, out they're running out of storage. Capacity so
• 8:00
Speaker 2: their only choice that is to shut it down is
• 8:03
Speaker 2: to cap off the. Well now the problem is once
• 8:06
Speaker 2: you do, that what happens is water comes into the
• 8:10
Speaker 2: formation and reduces the pressure in the. Formation and when
• 8:14
Speaker 2: you shut in a, well when you come back a
• 8:16
Speaker 2: week or a month or a year later and you
• 8:18
Speaker 2: try to get it producing, again typically it produces at
• 8:22
Speaker 2: a much lower. Rate So iran is risking doing permanent
• 8:27
Speaker 2: damage to its oil, fields which is a source of.
• 8:29
Speaker 2: Revenue that is massive leverage and the impact On iran's
• 8:36
Speaker 2: oil production and economy is going to be. Profound AND
• 8:38
Speaker 2: i want to do a little bit of a deep
• 8:40
Speaker 2: dive into what the impact of this blockade is. Having
• 8:43
Speaker 2: So Daniel lacall is an economist who tweeted the following out.
• 8:47
Speaker 2: Quote blocking The strait Of hormuz with the support Of
• 8:50
Speaker 2: amon and Other gulf nations may have two. Objectives one
• 8:54
Speaker 2: Block iran's exports and inflow of hard, currency and two
• 9:01
Speaker 2: Make china Force iran to. Negotiate in realistic, terms being
• 9:06
Speaker 2: a strategic partner Of iran and the most impacted by any, shutdown,
• 9:10
Speaker 2: understand cutting off the oil it Hurts iran, badly but
• 9:13
Speaker 2: most of that oil was going To. China that Hurts china.
• 9:15
Speaker 2: Too the reason to do it now and not before
• 9:21
Speaker 2: this may be because eighty percent of the crude supply
• 9:24
Speaker 2: of The strait Of hormuz has already been replaced or re,
• 9:28
Speaker 2: routed so the impact on supply and demand for MOST
• 9:33
Speaker 2: opec partners and customers is as small as, possible with
• 9:38
Speaker 2: the highest negative impact for The iran. Regime, FURTHERMORE opek
• 9:43
Speaker 2: has already agreed to lift quotas by exactly the amount
• 9:47
Speaker 2: That iran, exports right about two million barrels per. Day
• 9:52
Speaker 2: and let me do a little more deep dive in
• 9:56
Speaker 2: terms of what this, means and this is a thread
• 10:01
Speaker 2: For Mead maleki is a senior fellow AT, fdd which
• 10:04
Speaker 2: is a fantastic think tank on The Middle. East here's
• 10:07
Speaker 2: what he put out and this is really this details really.
• 10:11
Speaker 2: Useful THE us naval blockade of The strait Of hermuz
• 10:14
Speaker 2: would cost A ran approximately two hundred and seventy six
• 10:17
Speaker 2: million dollars a day in lost exports and disrupt one
• 10:21
Speaker 2: hundred and forty nine million dollars a day in, imports
• 10:25
Speaker 2: a combined economic damage of four hundred and thirty five
• 10:28
Speaker 2: million dollars a day or thirteen billion dollars a, month,
• 10:34
Speaker 2: wow over ninety percent Of iran's one hundred and nine
• 10:38
Speaker 2: point seven billion an annual trade transits The Persian. Gulf
• 10:43
Speaker 2: oil and gas account for eighty percent of government export
• 10:47
Speaker 2: earnings and twenty three point seven percent OF. Gdp Carg
• 10:52
Speaker 2: island alone generates fifty three billion a, year or AS
• 10:59
Speaker 2: i know at a, time seventy eight billion a year
• 11:02
Speaker 2: in energy. Revenue crude Oil iran was exporting one point
• 11:07
Speaker 2: five million barrels a, day earning one hundred and thirty
• 11:11
Speaker 2: nine million a day at wartime pricings about eighty seven
• 11:14
Speaker 2: dollars a, barrel though with minimal proceed repatriation due to
• 11:19
Speaker 2: banking sanctions a Blockade zero's that out. Overnight Carg, island
• 11:25
Speaker 2: which handles ninety two percent of the, export sits deep
• 11:28
Speaker 2: inside The gulf with no viable. Alternative that's one hundred
• 11:32
Speaker 2: and thirty nine millions a day. Gone how about petrochemicals,
• 11:36
Speaker 2: Petrochemicals iran exported nineteen point seven billion in, petrochemicals and
• 11:43
Speaker 2: nine months of twenty four and twenty five fifty four
• 11:46
Speaker 2: million a day virtually all of it ships Through, Asalua,
• 11:50
Speaker 2: Iman komani And Shahid. Rajai, sorry my pronunciation is not
• 11:56
Speaker 2: great on. That all inside the blockades, own no overland
• 12:02
Speaker 2: route can move these. Volumes that's another fifty four million
• 12:06
Speaker 2: a day. Gone all? Right how about non oil.
• 12:10
Speaker 3: Exports irans by the, Way.
• 12:13
Speaker 2: Yeah iran's non oil trade hit fifty one point seven
• 12:18
Speaker 2: billion in twenty twenty. Five after subtracting, petrochemicals eighty eight
• 12:25
Speaker 2: million a day in, goods, minerals, metals et cetera flow
• 12:28
Speaker 2: Through Persian gulf, ports roughly ninety percent would be. Blocked
• 12:34
Speaker 2: that's another seventy nine million a day in lost. Revenue
• 12:38
Speaker 2: over ninety percent Of iran seaborne trade transits The strait Of.
• 12:42
Speaker 2: Hormuz Shahid Rajai bandarabas alone handles fifty three percent of
• 12:49
Speaker 2: all cargo. OPERATIONS M. M komani handles fifty eight percent
• 12:53
Speaker 2: of basic goods. Imports bush air ports moved fifty seven
• 12:59
Speaker 2: million tons last, year all deep inside The. Gulf. Alternatives
• 13:04
Speaker 2: iran's options outside The strait are. NEGLIGIBLE jask the Must
• 13:10
Speaker 2: Outed bypass operates as a fraction of its one million
• 13:14
Speaker 2: barrels a day design, capacity only ten out of twenty
• 13:18
Speaker 2: storage tanks were built effective throughput seventy thousand barrels a.
• 13:24
Speaker 2: Day chavahar handles just eight point five million tons a
• 13:29
Speaker 2: year that the Five caspian ports combined handle eleven million
• 13:34
Speaker 2: tons versus two hundred and twenty million through the. Golf
• 13:39
Speaker 2: How about on the import, Side iran imported fifty eight
• 13:43
Speaker 2: billion in goods in twenty twenty, five one hundred and
• 13:45
Speaker 2: fifty nine million a. DAY a blockade chokes off industrial,
• 13:48
Speaker 2: inputs machinery and consumer. Goods food inflation already hit one
• 13:55
Speaker 2: hundred and five percent In february twenty twenty, six rices
• 14:01
Speaker 2: are up seven. X this gets dramatically worse under a.
• 14:06
Speaker 2: Blockade blockade will hopefully allow offloading of the humanitarian. Cargoes
• 14:12
Speaker 2: final couple of, points extremely important topic is the storage.
• 14:17
Speaker 2: Clock iran has fifty to fifty five million barrels of
• 14:21
Speaker 2: total onshore oil, storage roughly sixty percent full spare, capacity
• 14:27
Speaker 2: about twenty million barrels with one point five million barrels
• 14:31
Speaker 2: a day of surplus production that normally. Exports storage fills
• 14:36
Speaker 2: in thirteen, days and that was from the start of the.
• 14:39
Speaker 2: Blockade after, That iran must shut in. Wells this is
• 14:43
Speaker 2: what we were talking about just a minute. Ago why
• 14:45
Speaker 2: is this very? Important when mature oil wells shut down
• 14:50
Speaker 2: bottom water rushes in a process called water, coning oil
• 14:55
Speaker 2: droplets get permanently trapped in rock. Pores this oil can
• 15:01
Speaker 2: never be. Recovered iran's fields already declined five to eight percent.
• 15:06
Speaker 2: Annually forced shut ins could permanently destroy three hundred thousand
• 15:12
Speaker 2: to five hundred thousand barrels a day of production. Capacity
• 15:16
Speaker 2: that's nine billion to fifteen billion dollars a year in
• 15:20
  Speaker 2: revenue gone.
• 15:22
Speaker 3: Forever and to be, clear you can't get it.
• 15:25
Speaker 1: BACK i think you need to, understand like that point
• 15:27
Speaker 1: you're saying, there it's not like you can, Go, okay
• 15:29
Speaker 1: we'll go over here and then drill and then we'll
• 15:30
Speaker 1: go get what we lost earlier in. Capacity like like you,
• 15:33
Speaker 1: said once you shut them, in that capacity never comes.
• 15:37
Speaker 2: Back, yeah you can reopen it to'll produce, some but
• 15:40
Speaker 2: it will produce at a much lower. Rate all, right
• 15:42
Speaker 2: what happens to? Currency currency collapse? Accelerant the real has
• 15:48
Speaker 2: already cratered from forty two thousand to do what do
• 15:51
Speaker 2: you think it is? Now plus forty two thousands to the.
• 15:55
Speaker 2: Dollar it's now one point five million to the. Dollar
• 16:00
Speaker 2: banks are limiting withdraws to eighteen to thirty dollars a.
• 16:04
Speaker 2: Day overall inflation right now forty seven.
• 16:09
Speaker 3: Family four eighteen to thirty dollars a day is the
• 16:11
Speaker 3: action can get out of the.
• 16:12
Speaker 2: Bank right now, yep overall inflation forty seven point five.
• 16:17
Speaker 2: PERCENT a blockade eliminating all FOUR x earnings pushes the
• 16:23
Speaker 2: real into terminal hyper. Inflation the regime issued its largest ever,
• 16:29
Speaker 2: banknote ten million. Reals what do you think that's?
• 16:32
Speaker 3: WORTH i have no. Idea what is?
• 16:34
  Speaker 1: That?
• 16:35
Speaker 2: Now about seven? Bucks ten million? Reals seven? Bucks the
• 16:39
Speaker 2: bottom line is. THIS a naval blockade imposes four hundred
• 16:44
Speaker 2: and thirty five million dollars a day in combined economic.
• 16:47
Speaker 2: Damage storage fills in thirteen, days forcing well shut ins
• 16:51
Speaker 2: that cause permanent reservoir. Damage the real enters terminal. Collapse
• 16:56
Speaker 2: iran's alternatives outside The strait can replace less than ten
• 17:00
Speaker 2: ten percent of the golf through. Point the blockade makes
• 17:04
Speaker 2: continued resistance economically. Impossible that is the Leverage President trump

Speaker 1: we're talking about not months of survival, economically we're talking
• 18:49
Speaker 1: about catastrophic blows to their economy center each and every
• 18:54
Speaker 1: day and certainly each week that goes. By and when
• 18:58
Speaker 1: you say that's the, leverage like you're, not that's not,
• 19:00
Speaker 1: hyperbole THAT'S i mean on the ground. There when you're
• 19:03
Speaker 1: limiting people taking out under thirty dollars a, day that's
• 19:07
Speaker 1: how bad it. Is they're forcing people to make those
• 19:10
Speaker 1: types of decisions because otherwise the entire economy will collapse.
• 19:14
  Speaker 3: Instantly that's.
• 19:15
Speaker 2: Right and the pressure on the, regime and remember The

• 19:20
Speaker 2: oil and by cutting off the, oils The chinese are
• 19:23
Speaker 2: facing a real problem as. Well AND i Think President
• 19:26
Speaker 2: trump is just gradually ratcheting up the pressure more and
• 19:29
Speaker 2: more and. More it's probably why they decided to risk
• 19:33
Speaker 2: trying to run the, blockade because they desperately needed to

• 20:35
Speaker 1: close and also how smart the president is to keep
