- 0:00But I feel like God has just put a scripture
- 0:03on my heart that is a word that I've been meditating
- 0:09on for about two weeks now. I haven't written
- 0:12anything down about this word. But as I was paddling
- 0:17my kayak, this word kept coming to me over and
- 0:22over and over. And I want to share it with you
- 0:26this morning from the book of 1 Kings. chapter
- 0:3019. And so if you'll go there with me, it's about
- 0:36Elijah. And so let's just take a moment and let's
- 0:46pray. Father, I'm just asking that even if this
- 0:51is for one person here this morning, as you have
- 0:55put a pause on the word that I was going to preach,
- 1:01as I put a pause, as you have put a pause on
- 1:07that, I just ask that this word would go in to
- 1:15somebody this morning. And we just open up our
- 1:21hearts to what you have to say. Give us ears
- 1:24to hear. what you have to say in Jesus' name.
- 1:31Amen. Somebody asked me what was the best part
- 1:36about the trip. And I shared with you already
- 1:39that it was physically demanding. But the best
- 1:43part about my trip was not the fishing or the
- 1:46pictures. Some of you saw the pictures I posted
- 1:48on Facebook. The best part about the trip was
- 1:54that I was alone for eight days. I've never experienced
- 1:59that. There were a few people I saw at Portages
- 2:01and I talked with them, but for the most part,
- 2:05for eight days, I was by myself. And it wasn't
- 2:09that I was away from my family or my wife. What
- 2:14really made being alone quality was that I had
- 2:21no cell reception. I had no media to scroll.
- 2:28I had no news to listen to. I had no sports to
- 2:35give myself to. For eight days, it was me and
- 2:40Jesus. And I listened to his voice. And about
- 2:46the third or fourth day, I began to hear God
- 2:49speak to me. on a level that I had not heard
- 2:53in a long time. Hearing God. And as I would paddle,
- 2:59I would sing often. A lot of times I would just
- 3:02listen, but many times I would sing to the Lord
- 3:06and just converse with the Father and talk with
- 3:11Him. I believe that everybody, whether it's eight
- 3:16days or whether it's a portion of each day, You
- 3:21need time alone with the Father. There are seasons
- 3:25maybe that you need a retreat like that to get
- 3:29alone with God, to hear from Him for an extended
- 3:32period of time. That's very difficult. It's never
- 3:37happened for eight days in my life ever. The
- 3:42longest I'd ever been alone was three and a half
- 3:45days. And it was just an amazing, amazing experience.
- 3:52And while I'm talking with the Lord, one night
- 3:56when I was preparing a meal, this verse in 1
- 4:01Kings 19 came to my heart. Now to give you some
- 4:05background, if you back up and get the story
- 4:10that set this up. Elijah had just won an incredible
- 4:14victory. He had challenged the prophets of Baal,
- 4:20and he had taunted them. He challenged them to
- 4:23a duel of who was God. The God that answers by
- 4:27fire. He is God. And of course, the prophets
- 4:31of Baal went first and they called out all day
- 4:34and they cut themselves and they cried out with
- 4:39everything that they had. And all the while,
- 4:41Elijah was walking back and forth and watching
- 4:44them and he was taunting them. And he'd say,
- 4:47where is your God? He can't answer by fire. And
- 4:51one time, one translation says, is your God sitting
- 4:56on the toilet? And so he was mocking the prophets
- 5:01of Baal. He had great boldness mocking the prophets
- 5:08of Baal. And then it was his turn. And he said,
- 5:12we're going to do something before I call on
- 5:14the name of my God. We're going to cover the
- 5:18altar. We're going to cover the sacrifice. We're
- 5:21going to flood it with the very thing that should
- 5:23extinguish the fire. We're going to flood it
- 5:26with water. And so they brought the water and
- 5:29they poured it on the sacrifice. And then Elijah
- 5:33called on the name of the Lord. And fire. came
- 5:39down from heaven, licked up all the water, licked
- 5:42up the sacrifice, burned the sacrifice in front
- 5:45of them all. And the people, the people that
- 5:49were watching this began to cry out and say,
- 5:52the Lord, he is God. The Lord, he is God. And
- 5:58Elijah took the 400 prophets of Baal and put
- 6:02them all to the sword. Sounds like Hollywood,
- 6:06doesn't it? And it was on the heels of that,
- 6:10that Elijah, he went into a deep depression.
- 6:17That's not really what I'm going to talk about
- 6:19today. But he began to fear Jezebel. And we see
- 6:28in verse 1, Ahab had told Jezebel everything
- 6:33Elijah had done and how he had killed all the
- 6:35prophets with the sword. And Jezebel sent a messenger
- 6:39to Elijah to say, may the gods deal with me,
- 6:42be it ever so severely, if by this time tomorrow
- 6:46I do not make your life like that of one of them.
- 6:50This was the power of this wicked, wicked false
- 6:54prophetess. Elijah was afraid and ran for his
- 7:03life. And when he came to bear Sheba in Judah,
- 7:09he left his servant there while he himself went
- 7:15a day's journey into the wilderness. He came
- 7:26to a broom brush. He sat down under it and prayed
- 7:34that he might die. I've had enough, Lord, he
- 7:40said. How many of you have ever told God that?
- 7:45Maybe you weren't like, maybe not severe so much
- 7:50as Elijah. Maybe. Maybe. God, I've had enough.
- 8:01God, I can't take it anymore. Take my life. I'm
- 8:09no better than my ancestors. And he lay down
- 8:15under the bush and fell asleep. Now here's the
- 8:22part that began to speak to me. These phrases
- 8:28that we're about to read kept coming over and
- 8:31over into my heart all week. All at once an angel
- 8:35touched him and said, Get up and eat. He looked
- 8:45around and there by his head was some bread baked
- 8:50over hot coals and a jar of water. He ate and
- 8:58drank and lay down again. And the angel of the
- 9:04Lord came back a second time and touched him
- 9:06and said, Get up and eat, for the journey is
- 9:13too much for you. So he got up and ate and drank.
- 9:22Now listen to this next sentence. Strengthened
- 9:28by that food. Everybody say that food. Strengthened
- 9:38by that food, he traveled 40 days and 40 nights
- 9:44until he reached Horeb, the mountain of God.
- 9:51And he went into a cave. That food. Now here
- 9:59I am. I'm at the campfire. And I had... Fried
- 10:06some walleye and some rice, some Spanish rice.
- 10:15And I'm looking at this food and this phrase
- 10:18is going into my mind from this chapter of Scripture.
- 10:22And I just felt the question come to me, how
- 10:26long is this food going to strengthen you? And
- 10:31I said, well, probably about eight hours. I was
- 10:36physically exerting myself miles and miles every
- 10:42single day. When I got to the campsite, usually
- 10:45when we get to the campsite, we hang around a
- 10:47fire and then we stay up late into the night
- 10:50and we watch the stars. But I was so exhausted
- 10:53that as soon as the dishes were washed, I would
- 10:57crawl into my tent and fall asleep. The food
- 11:02that I ate would last. A little while. And in
- 11:07the morning I had to make another fire. And cook
- 11:10some oatmeal. And that oatmeal last me. The oatmeal
- 11:15does not last as long. As fresh fried walleye.
- 11:20I'm just telling you that. You need. Sometimes
- 11:24you just need fresh fried walleye. That's just
- 11:26the truth. And it's a glorious thing. I feel
- 11:31the anointing of the Lord right now. As I'm saying
- 11:33this. You need that. You need that. I didn't
- 11:38hear what Dale said, but I know it wasn't important.
- 11:44What'd you say? Fried chicken. Fried chicken
- 11:47with friends. Hallelujah. The strength of that
- 11:55food. Elijah, this food was unlike any other
- 12:00meal. That Elijah had ever eaten before. This
- 12:05food was not typical bush food. This food, this
- 12:12bread. That had been fresh baked over coals.
- 12:17This jar of water. Was made by an angel. Elijah.
- 12:29was being fed by the hand of an angel. Bread
- 12:35cooked over hot coals, a jar of water, and Elijah
- 12:41drank it and went back to sleep, and he ate it
- 12:44and went back to sleep. And a second meal was
- 12:48prepared for him. This was the bread of heaven.
- 12:54It very well could have been like... Like the
- 12:57manna only prepared and baked. That the Israelites
- 13:02had many years before, 40 years in the wilderness.
- 13:07The bread of angels. The bread of heaven. That
- 13:14which God himself instructed an angel to feed
- 13:21the prophet in his weariness. And in His place
- 13:27of need. And I want to tell you in your place
- 13:31of need this morning, in your place of weariness,
- 13:35in your place of saying, God, I just don't have
- 13:41it in me anymore. I want to tell you in that
- 13:44place that God has prepared a meal for you. He
- 13:50has prepared food for you. But it is up to you
- 13:57and I. I love what Elijah did because he's discouraged.
- 14:01He's afraid. He is at the end of his rope. But
- 14:05you know what he did? He went into the wilderness.
- 14:08And he positioned himself before the Lord. And
- 14:13I want to tell you the mistake that we often
- 14:15make when we feel like this is that we turn to
- 14:18everything but God. And we listen to all the
- 14:23other voices. And I want to ask you this morning
- 14:26the question that I felt like God was asking
- 14:29me during the trip. What are you feeding on?
- 14:37What are you eating? Because if you are eating,
- 14:43The stuff, and here I'm not talking about the
- 14:46food that we're about to feed our bodies with.
- 14:49I'm talking about the food that feeds your spirit
- 14:54man. What are you feeding on? Because some of
- 14:58you are starving. Some of you are starving because
- 15:03you are not eating the food that God has provided
- 15:07for you. What are you feeding on? Are you feeding
- 15:15on food that will give you strength? Or are you
- 15:22feeding on junk that will do nothing for you?
- 15:29What are you feeding on? What are you feeding
- 15:35on? The strength of that food took Elijah. 40
- 15:44days and 40 nights to the mountain of God. Now
- 15:52that mountain, you can read about that encounter
- 15:55on your own. It was an incredible encounter and
- 15:57it gave Elijah the instructions for the rest
- 16:00of his life. And it was an awesome encounter.
- 16:06That was the encounter I think Elijah was craving.
- 16:08But until you have that encounter, I want to
- 16:11tell you, God has sustenance for you. What are
- 16:16you feeding on? Are you feeding on the news?
- 16:22See, these are all the things that I was able
- 16:25to turn off when I went into the wilderness.
- 16:30And it took about three days to purge all those
- 16:34voices out of my body. You know what I found
- 16:38out? I'm feeding too much on that stuff. I'm
- 16:44not feeding on the food that God had for me.
- 16:50You know, in John chapter 4, Jesus is with the
- 16:54woman at the well. It's an incredible encounter.
- 16:57Jesus prophesies over this woman and exposes
- 17:01to her her life. And she is overwhelmed by it
- 17:05all. And it's during that conversation that says,
- 17:12The time is coming. Things that Jesus said like,
- 17:16hey, the time is coming when people are neither
- 17:18going to worship here nor in Jerusalem, but true
- 17:21worshipers will worship God in spirit and in
- 17:24truth. Hallelujah. He taught us during that conversation
- 17:28about the baptism of the Holy Spirit, how the
- 17:31Spirit of God would well up from within us and
- 17:35become a fountain of eternal life. And he's having
- 17:38this conversation with this woman who has had
- 17:41500 husbands and is now living with a man that
- 17:44he's not married to. And Jesus chose this woman
- 17:48to be the evangelist that would win the entire
- 17:52town to Jesus Christ. Hallelujah. We should never
- 17:55write anybody off. God has purposes for everybody.
- 17:59And you feel like your life has fallen apart
- 18:02and like you haven't done things well? Jesus
- 18:04will still choose you and use you. Hallelujah.
- 18:08To do great things for God. I feel the presence
- 18:12of the Lord right now. Hallelujah. The disciples
- 18:16weren't there because they were off in the village
- 18:19buying food. And they came back. They came back
- 18:26with their Jimmy Johns. And they laid it out
- 18:33before Jesus. They said, Jesus, come and eat.
- 18:35They were astonished that he was talking with
- 18:37a woman. And you know what Jesus told them? I
- 18:42have food that you do not know about. And they
- 18:48thought, what did, did he get some McDonald's
- 18:53when we weren't looking? And Jesus told them,
- 19:02he said, my food is to do the will of my Father.
- 19:09To obey Him. That was what fed His Spirit. The
- 19:16food that God has for you, it starts with the
- 19:19Word of God. It starts with the infilling of
- 19:22the Holy Spirit. But the food that God has for
- 19:27you is abundant. The sources that God wants to
- 19:31feed you from when you're in the center of His
- 19:34will. are everywhere. How many of you felt fed
- 19:37from God as people were sharing the words that
- 19:40God had put on their heart this morning? Do you
- 19:43know what that is? That's God giving you food
- 19:46to eat. Hallelujah. There is the food of encouragement
- 19:50that God wants you to impart to one another.
- 19:54That's food that we need to eat. I am on a...
- 20:01Boundary Waters Facebook group, imagine that.
- 20:05And we talked together about the Boundary Waters.
- 20:10Today, or yesterday, or maybe Friday, I can't
- 20:15remember, a gentleman texted me that I'd never
- 20:20heard of before. And because I had written on
- 20:26the page, it's not a spiritual group, but I write
- 20:28sometimes about my spiritual encounters. Maybe
- 20:33not with strong words, but I try to put it out
- 20:37there. And he wrote me a note and he said, I've
- 20:43been on the Boundary Waters page for two or three
- 20:47years now. Now you need to understand that there's
- 20:4920 ,000 people on this page. He said, I've been
- 20:53on the page for two or three years now, and you
- 20:56are the most encouraging person in the whole
- 20:59group. And I don't say that to pat myself on
- 21:03the back. When he reached out with that word
- 21:09of encouragement for me, do you know what that
- 21:13did for me? It was like a meal that I was feeding
- 21:19on. I just want to ask you, what are you feeding
- 21:25on? What voices are you listening to? What voices
- 21:36are you listening to? Elijah went on the strength
- 21:41of that food. You know what that tells me? That
- 21:45tells me that that food was not just physical
- 21:48bread. It came from heaven. You don't eat a piece
- 21:54of bread and journey for 40 days. There was something
- 22:02spiritual in there. It came from heaven. Hallelujah.
- 22:08What are you feeding on? The sustenance that
- 22:12God has for you will carry you where you need
- 22:17to go. Now, as we were worshiping this morning,
- 22:23the Lord brought me to Colossians chapter 1.
- 22:28And this phrase kept coming up to me as we were
- 22:33worshiping. It's all about Jesus. Isn't it? It's
- 22:39all about Jesus. It is all about Jesus. Hallelujah.
- 22:44This life that we live is all about Jesus. Praise
- 22:49God. It is all about following Him. And so I
- 22:53turned, you didn't see me turn there, but I was
- 22:57turning to Colossians chapter 1. And I want to
- 23:00give you something that you can feed on because
- 23:02it is all about Jesus. He is an amazing, amazing
- 23:08God. Amen? And we have got to feed on Him. And
- 23:13in Colossians chapter 1, oh hallelujah, this
- 23:17is so good. I don't even know where to start
- 23:19reading because it's all so good. But let's start
- 23:23reading in verse 13. For he has rescued us from
- 23:29the dominion of darkness and brought us into
- 23:33the kingdom of the Son that he loves. In Him,
- 23:39we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins.
- 23:44Glory to God. Now, I want to tell you, as I'm
- 23:47reading that, you know what it's doing to me?
- 23:50It is feeding my soul. I want to read it again
- 23:55because it's talking about the kingdom of God.
- 23:58Do you know the kingdom of God is the kingdom
- 24:00of the Son, Jesus Christ. For he has rescued
- 24:06us from the dominion of darkness. Who in here
- 24:11was under the dominion of darkness? Who in here
- 24:14was in the clutches of sin? Maybe you were gripped
- 24:18by addiction. You didn't even know the direction.
- 24:23your life was going, you might have even for
- 24:27a season enjoyed the dominion of darkness. But
- 24:31then it exercised its demonic influence over
- 24:37you. And Jesus, you turn to the Lord, and He
- 24:41has delivered us, rescued us from that evil dominion,
- 24:45and brought us into the kingdom of the Son. He
- 24:49loves. Hallelujah. This, friends, is Jesus. In
- 24:54Him, we have redemption. Glory to God. Glory
- 25:01to God. I want to talk about that word redemption.
- 25:03I want to feed your soul for a little bit this
- 25:06morning. Because when you gave your life to Jesus,
- 25:09it's not that he just gave you a ticket that
- 25:12when you die, you can get to heaven. That's not
- 25:15the only thing that happened. I'm no longer going
- 25:18to hell. I'm going to heaven. Well, I am happy
- 25:21about that. Praise God. I hope you're happy about
- 25:25that too. But Jesus did not just come to get
- 25:29you to heaven. He came to redeem your life. And
- 25:35this means that everything about your life that
- 25:39was garbage, that was junk, that was all the
- 25:42stuff, that Jesus is redeeming it. He is buying
- 25:47it back and he is turning it all around so that
- 25:51it will work for your good on your behalf in
- 25:55Jesus' name. Hallelujah. And so he is delivering
- 25:59you from the darkness, but he is using all of
- 26:03the stuff that was part of your past and turning
- 26:06it into a testimony for the glory of God. Hallelujah.
- 26:11Somebody's got to get excited about that. He
- 26:14redeems you. And then it says the forgiveness
- 26:18of sins. The forgiveness of sins. We need to
- 26:24thank God right now that he has washed away all
- 26:31of the darkness. All the stuff that nobody sees.
- 26:38All the stuff that people did see or do see.
- 26:43The forgiveness of sins. Think about your sin
- 26:51for a moment. I don't want to do that, Pastor.
- 26:56Well, sometimes it's important to remember that
- 27:01pile. That pile. Some of you were really good
- 27:07at sinning. Some of you were really good at it.
- 27:15Some of you were better at it than others. Some
- 27:21of you carried shame for what you did for years.
- 27:41Can I remind you this morning that at the cross,
- 27:46Jesus delivered you and forgave you and washed
- 27:57away all of your sin. What are you eating? Are
- 28:13you still feeding on the shame? Are you still
- 28:18feeding on the deception and the lies of the
- 28:22enemy? What are you feeding on? I want to remember
- 28:31that I'm forgiven. And that Jesus has delivered
- 28:36me and washed me from my shame. Hallelujah. taken
- 28:42it all. What are you feeding on? The Son is the
- 28:55image of the invisible God. Now, I want to remind
- 28:59us this morning as I'm reading through this about
- 29:01Jesus. We're talking about Jesus. He's the one
- 29:05that lives in you. He's the one that now resides
- 29:09in you. Christ in me. The hope of glory. It is
- 29:14the great mystery. Jesus lives inside of me when
- 29:20I give my life to Him. Hallelujah. Hallelujah.
- 29:24Ask your neighbor, is Christ in you? Is Christ
- 29:29in you? Is Jesus in you? Now I want to tell you
- 29:35who Jesus is this morning. I want to give you
- 29:37the description that Paul gave to the people.
- 29:41This is where we should feed. This is what we
- 29:44should eat. The Son is the image of the invisible
- 29:48God. The firstborn over all creation. In Him.
- 29:55Now imagine me out in creation. Some of those
- 29:58pictures I posted on my Facebook page. In Him.
- 30:02All things were created. Everything. He lives
- 30:08in me. Things in heaven. Things on earth. Visible
- 30:13and invisible. Whether thrones or powers or rulers
- 30:20or authorities. All things. Everybody say all
- 30:24things. Have been created through him and for
- 30:30him. He is before all things and in him all things
- 30:36hold together. Praise the Lord. He is the head
- 30:41of his body. The church. Do you know how much
- 30:48comfort that gives me? I'm just the pastor. He
- 30:54is the head. He is the head. You know, I know
- 31:01there's never any problems here at Faith Church.
- 31:04We never have any problems, do we, Shelley? No?
- 31:09We never have any problems here. But that's not
- 31:14true. Just so you know, that's not true. But
- 31:22when I pray, you know what I can say to the Lord?
- 31:28I can say, Jesus, you have a problem in your
- 31:32church. Do you know how freeing that is? That
- 31:40this is not my church? I'm a pastor here, but
- 31:45it is not my church. He is the head of faith
- 31:50church. Amen? Let's just declare that together.
- 31:56He is the head of faith church. Let's declare
- 32:01it again. He is the head of faith church. Glory
- 32:06to God. He is the head of the body, the church.
- 32:11Do you know you can do the same thing for your
- 32:13family? Do you know that Jesus is in charge of
- 32:17your family if you'll let him be? You can give
- 32:21it to him. You can say, Lord, this is your family.
- 32:26I need you to work in my family. We belong to
- 32:32you. We serve you. Jesus, this is your problem.
- 32:39You are free, my friend. That doesn't mean you
- 32:45don't have responsibility or action, but that
- 32:47means he's the one that's going to take care
- 32:49of it. He's the one that's going to do it. He
- 32:53might show you what to do. He might give you
- 32:56a piece of wisdom. He might call you to repentance
- 32:58so that you can have healing in a relationship.
- 33:02You have a part to play, but it is Him that is
- 33:05going to do it. He's the head. He's the beginning
- 33:12and the firstborn from among the dead. So that
- 33:16in everything, He might have the supremacy. Now
- 33:22listen to this. This is the Jesus that lives
- 33:25in you. I can't even comprehend this. I don't
- 33:27even know how to say it to you. But I hope it
- 33:30does something on your inside to say, God is
- 33:34big and He lives in me. Listen to this. God was
- 33:41pleased to have all His fullness dwell in Christ.
- 33:55The fullness of God dwells in me. You can feed
- 34:04on that for a while. The fullness of God dwells
- 34:11in me. It's no wonder that says God is for us.
- 34:17Who can be against us? Whom shall I fear? The
- 34:22fullness of God who created everything in the
- 34:24universe. The fullness of God who brought us
- 34:29the Word of God. The fullness of God who sent
- 34:32His Son to die on a cross and redeem me. The
- 34:35fullness of God that has worked miracles. In
- 34:39fact, just in this room, let alone in the entire
- 34:41body of Christ, the miracles represented in this
- 34:45room. The fullness of God dwells inside of you.
- 34:54You know, you get a hold of that and you'll quit
- 34:56worrying. The fullness of God lives in you. And
- 35:09through him, to reconcile to himself all things,
- 35:14whether things on earth or things are heaven,
- 35:16by making peace through his blood shed on the
- 35:22cross. Once you were alienated from God and were
- 35:27enemies in your minds because of your evil behavior,
- 35:30but now he has reconciled you by Christ's physical
- 35:37body through death to present you holy. In his
- 35:44sight. The holiness that is in Jesus. Has been
- 35:57transferred. To you. This is why. You can't stay
- 36:04in your sin anymore. This is why when the Holy
- 36:08Spirit convicts you of addiction and how you
- 36:11treat the temple of the Holy Spirit, it's because
- 36:15Christ lives in you. This is why you can't live
- 36:21like the world lives or be in love with the things
- 36:25that the world is in love with. Because Christ
- 36:30lives in you. You are holy. like Christ is holy.
- 36:40Have I attained perfection? No. But I am becoming
- 36:45more and more like Christ as He gives me strength
- 36:50and power. He sees me. It is God's will for my
- 36:55life to walk in holiness. Without blemish, free
- 37:05from accusation. Now here's the word. If you
- 37:11continue in your faith. Established and firm.
- 37:18And do not move from the hope held out in the
- 37:21gospel. That's why the enemy tries to feed you
- 37:27other things. To move your hope away from the
- 37:31gospel. You have to stay firm, planted in Him.
- 37:42This is the gospel that you heard and that has
- 37:46been proclaimed to every creature under heaven
- 37:49and of which I, Paul, have become a servant.
- 37:55That's just one example of what you and I should
- 38:00be feeding on. And I want to ask you simply this
- 38:05morning, what are you feeding on? Let's pray.
- 38:15Father, I ask you right now, as your spirit is
- 38:22in this room, I can sense you in this place ministering
- 38:25and speaking to people. There have been people
- 38:31in this room and... Different seasons of my own
- 38:34life, God. Where I have been feeding on the wrong
- 38:38things. And this morning, God, we simply need
- 38:43to acknowledge it. And we need to come back to
- 38:47the table of the Lord. Elijah went through junk.
- 38:52And so do we. But he positioned himself to hear
- 38:57from God. To feed on what God had for him. God,
- 39:06I ask this morning that you would see the heart
- 39:12cry of every person here. People that have been
- 39:19feeding on the wrong stuff. And they end up believing
- 39:22the wrong stuff. And they end up worrying and
- 39:25fretting. And they end up with vain imagination.
- 39:33And they end up, oh God, with all kinds of thoughts
- 39:35that are not your will and not your plan because
- 39:40they're feeding on the wrong stuff. This morning
- 39:45I ask that you'd help us to turn. God, it took
- 39:52a couple days to flush all that stuff out of
- 39:55me. And I don't want to go back. God, I want
- 40:02to feed on what you have for me. I want to dwell
- 40:06in the land, feed on your faithfulness. I want
- 40:09to eat the meal that you have for me. I want
- 40:11to receive all that you've got for me. God, direct
- 40:17from your word. I want to receive from your spirit.
- 40:20I want to receive from the brothers and sisters
- 40:23that you've put in my life. I want to receive
- 40:25from the many different ways that you speak to
- 40:28my heart. I want to hear your voice. Friend,
- 40:33if you're here this morning and you just freely
- 40:35confess, I've been having some of the wrong voices
- 40:40in my heart and in my mind. They've been influencing
- 40:44me in the wrong direction. If that's you, I'd
- 40:49just like you to stand up all over this place.
- 40:51You might have been a Christian. You might be
- 40:52an elder or a deacon in the house. But you've
- 40:55been giving yourself to the wrong voice. Just
- 40:57stand up all over this place. And by doing that,
- 41:00you're just saying, God, I want to give myself
- 41:02to the right voices in Jesus' name. It takes
- 41:05courage to do that, I know. Just asking you.
- 41:10Come on. Come on. Come on. Hallelujah. Hallelujah.
- 41:25Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Oh my God. You're doing
- 41:32a work right now. Just as if you're standing.
- 41:35I want you to just. I want you to just confess
- 41:39those things in your heart to the Lord right
- 41:41now. And just say God. I just repent of. Of listening
- 41:47to the wrong voice. About how I view myself.
- 41:53My situation. My future. God, I want to listen
- 42:00to you. I want to feed on the food that you are
- 42:05preparing for me. Hallelujah. God, these standing
- 42:13right now, I just pray that you'd give them special
- 42:16grace to overcome. I pray they would know there
- 42:22is therefore now no condemnation for those that
- 42:25are in Christ Jesus. For those that are in Christ
- 42:29Jesus. Hallelujah. Have been set free. In Jesus
- 42:37name. We belong to you. Hallelujah. Hallelujah.
- 42:47And this will apply to. Anybody here this morning,
- 42:55if you are here and you are just saying, God,
- 43:06I want to give myself to feed on the things that
- 43:11God has for me. I want you to stand as well.
- 43:16And I want you to say, God, here I am to feed
- 43:19on the things that you have given for me. Hallelujah,
- 43:23hallelujah, hallelujah. Oh God, we praise your
- 43:28name. We praise your name. We give you glory.
- 43:32God, just express that to the Lord right now.
- 43:35Just say, Lord, I want to feed on what you have
- 43:38for me. In Jesus' name.
