- 0:28Speaker 3: I have it.
- 0:29Speaker 1: I'm just not a water rechiever when it comes to that.
- 0:31Speaker 1: I see you. You are always You're starting to do
- 0:34Speaker 1: water now I'm trying. I don't know you anymore. You're
- 0:37Speaker 1: walking four miles per minute and then you're drinking water.
- 0:41Speaker 4: Yeah, so my mighte's got me this? How do you
- 0:44Speaker 4: pronounce it? Meghan?
- 0:45Speaker 3: Is it?
- 0:45Speaker 4: It's co rk C? I see? Is it cork corksicle? Yeah?
- 0:49Speaker 5: Corksicle like the cup you're using.
- 0:52Speaker 4: Yeah. Yeah, it's a metal canteen kind of thing. So
- 0:56Speaker 4: I've been.
- 0:56Speaker 2: It holds twenty four ounces of water. My goal is
- 0:59Speaker 2: to drink two of these every morning. It's very good.
- 1:03Speaker 2: I don't like water.
- 1:04Speaker 3: There's the there's the downside.
- 1:06Speaker 2: I needed to have some kind of flavor, Like I
- 1:11Speaker 2: can put crystal light in it, but that's got chemicals
- 1:13Speaker 2: in it.
- 1:14Speaker 5: Those are good, but that's chemicals too.
- 1:18Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:18Speaker 2: I'm drinking it to get away from the chemicals because,
- 1:21Speaker 2: as you guys know, John and.
- 1:22Speaker 3: I are coke zero addicts way too many.
- 1:25Speaker 4: So I'm looking for something else.
- 1:27Speaker 2: And they're like, hey, if you can just cut back
- 1:28Speaker 2: on the sodas, maybe I d you can a couple
- 1:29Speaker 2: of waters here and there, Like, all right, I'll do that.
- 1:31Speaker 3: Nix in a water, but you want to mix in
- 1:33Speaker 3: some flavor too.
- 1:34Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:34Speaker 2: I needed to taste like something. And somebody's like, I
- 1:36Speaker 2: want to drop strawberries in there. I'm not dropping strawberry.
- 1:39Speaker 5: You can't.
- 1:40Speaker 4: I can't get them in there. Or cucumber.
- 1:43Speaker 2: Like my wife's like, I'll cut you have some cucumbers
- 1:45Speaker 2: you can put in there. No, I don't want to
- 1:47Speaker 2: fruit water and then you have to dodge them every
- 1:49Speaker 2: time you take a drink of water. Yeah.
- 1:51Speaker 4: No, I just you know what, you know what was
- 1:53Speaker 4: a lot easier going over.
- 1:54Speaker 2: To that vending machine, getting swiping my credit card and
- 1:56Speaker 2: getting coke d one coke zero.
- 1:58Speaker 3: Yeah, D two.
- 1:59Speaker 2: By the end of the week, John and I were
- 2:01Speaker 2: at D six and D seven. I'm starting to look
- 2:03Speaker 2: up on the cans on the top row.
- 2:04Speaker 6: You really need to stop the soda, Froggy. You need
- 2:07Speaker 6: to drink more water with all these steps you're doing.
- 2:10Speaker 2: But I'm doing the steps. I listen and moderation. Everything
- 2:15Speaker 2: in moderation. I'll be a good boy moderation. I'll walk
- 2:18Speaker 2: in moderation, and I'll drink more coke zero in moderation.
- 2:23Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 2:23Speaker 5: Well, you guys with these bad habits, I'm telling you.
- 2:30Speaker 3: About you. As she popped this in when she said,
- 2:32Speaker 3: puts his zin in her cheek.
- 2:34Speaker 5: I learned this technique from the best.
- 2:36Speaker 4: Oh stop it. We got a busy Jacksonville Friday. Here.
- 2:39Speaker 2: We got tickets to Country Thunder. It's going down one
- 2:42Speaker 2: week from today. Kane Brown, Zach Top the headliners. Yes, Shaboozy,
- 2:50Speaker 2: it's gonna be a great lineup. Your chance to get
- 2:52Speaker 2: there coming up right around seven ten with the pop quiz.
- 2:54Speaker 2: But to start your jacks Friday, we'll do Megan's three Things.
- 2:57Speaker 2: What's going on this afternoon.
- 2:58Speaker 6: We'll be able to see them moon and the sky,
- 3:01Speaker 6: which is kind of cool.
- 3:02Speaker 5: To see it in the daylight.
- 3:03Speaker 6: It's because it's this mayflower moon that's going to be
- 3:05Speaker 6: really cool. And what's even cooler is in the month
- 3:08Speaker 6: of May there will be two full moons, so when
- 3:11Speaker 6: that happens, they call the second one the blue moon.
- 3:13Speaker 6: So that's kind of neat Tomorrow is something cool is
- 3:15Speaker 6: going on at the VII Star Ballpark seven pm. It's
- 3:19Speaker 6: the public's one dollar movie Night. I think that'd be
- 3:21Speaker 6: fun to take the kids out to that and Costco
- 3:25Speaker 6: making a change with their hot dog meal that comes
- 3:28Speaker 6: with soda.
- 3:29Speaker 5: They're offering water now, so there you go.
- 3:32Speaker 6: It is not it is a bottle of Kirkland's Best,
- 3:34Speaker 6: so it's not even your cipher.
- 3:36Speaker 1: Hills Friday morning with the Big Show, looking forward to
- 3:38Speaker 1: the weekend. It's froggy John and Megan.
- 3:40Speaker 3: It good to be with you. And been meaning to.
- 3:42Speaker 1: Give a shout out to this couple, a husband and
- 3:44Speaker 1: wife chefs who have a restaurant Murray Hill. They out
- 3:48Speaker 1: of new one at the Block Jacks. Ecuadorian cuisine is
- 3:51Speaker 1: called chan Cho King.
- 3:52Speaker 4: Oh oh wow.
- 3:53Speaker 1: These two people are up for the James Beard Award
- 3:57Speaker 1: for Best Chef in the South. This is like the
- 3:59Speaker 1: super Bowl of being a chef. Whoa, and they're up
- 4:02Speaker 1: for They're up for the award? Is this just like
- 4:04Speaker 1: a national recognition that's coming up. They're going to give
- 4:07Speaker 1: the winner in June. But to beat once again, like
- 4:09Speaker 1: we were nominated for CMAS, which is really really an honor,
- 4:12Speaker 1: just to be nominated as an honor, but we wanted
- 4:14Speaker 1: to give a shout out to the Chancho King with
- 4:17Speaker 1: Ecuadorian stuff. That's super cool. I hope they win. Hope congratulations. Yeah,
- 4:22Speaker 1: just don't being nominated. That's really cool stuff.
- 4:24Speaker 2: I mean, Black Jacks is still doing really really well,
- 4:26Speaker 2: by the way, I know, they figured out a lot
- 4:27Speaker 2: of the parking issues that lots of people going. It's
- 4:30Speaker 2: a cool place of you go by this weekend. Thanks
- 4:32Speaker 2: you see the people at Chancho King. We need in
- 4:35Speaker 2: the wind though.
- 4:35Speaker 4: They gotta win. Yeah, we gotta make that happen.
- 4:38Speaker 2: Let's get into Megan's music city minute. What's going on
- 4:40Speaker 2: in Nashville for a Friday?
- 4:42Speaker 5: The Red Clay Strays.
- 4:43Speaker 6: Tickets for their Orlando show It'll be at the Kia
- 4:46Speaker 6: Center in October go on sale today at nine am.
- 4:51Speaker 1: And that's their only show I think in Florida. Yes,
- 4:54Speaker 1: and those guys sell out. I mean they sold two
- 4:56Speaker 1: shows out at the Saint Augustine Amphitheater last year on
- 5:00Speaker 1: Fire in Fuego.
- 5:02Speaker 6: There's something about red Clay strays in October like fall
- 5:05Speaker 6: time that just kind of feels like it matches too,
- 5:07Speaker 6: So that'd be awesome. Ella Langley only has one artist
- 5:11Speaker 6: on Spotify who she hasn't beaten out for the number
- 5:14Speaker 6: of streams, and that man's name is Morgan Wallen.
- 5:18Speaker 3: That's insane.
- 5:19Speaker 5: Yeah, they're kind of just neck and neck.
- 5:21Speaker 6: I'm interested to see what ends up happening because of
- 5:25Speaker 6: their duet.
- 5:26Speaker 3: That's coming in.
- 5:26Speaker 1: Yeah, and she's catapulted past all the other superstars Luke Combs,
- 5:31Speaker 1: but even the newer ones you know, like Luke Combs,
- 5:33Speaker 1: I guess on Spotify.
- 5:34Speaker 3: So that's weird. It's weird but amazing at the same time.
- 5:38Speaker 5: It is.
- 5:38Speaker 6: And yesterday we told you that there was a big
- 5:42Speaker 6: announcement we were waiting on Jason Alden and Luke Bryant
- 5:44Speaker 6: and if they're going to be touring, well, the news
- 5:48Speaker 6: is out. They've announced a double down tour, so they're
- 5:51Speaker 6: going to be going to different stadiums, the two of
- 5:53Speaker 6: them together it's cool like a show of friends, and
- 5:57Speaker 6: then everyone in that audience feels like they're a friend,
- 6:00Speaker 6: so it's really awesome.
- 6:01Speaker 3: Do we have any dates?
- 6:02Speaker 6: I'm still looking through this list to see because so
- 6:07Speaker 6: far they've only put out a couple okay, and we're
- 6:10Speaker 6: not on that so far, but I have a feeling
- 6:13Speaker 6: there will be more of that come out, so I'm
- 6:16Speaker 6: trying to do a little Slough.
- 6:17Speaker 1: Country ninety nine one WQIK, Good Morning, the Big Show
- 6:20Speaker 1: with Froggy, John and Meghan and Froggy and I. We
- 6:23Speaker 1: were just talking here before we started. I think Megan's
- 6:26Speaker 1: into a naw right now. When it comes to ye
- 6:28Speaker 1: rooms to go, I'm Megan, what is going on?
- 6:31Speaker 6: So my friend's coming into town for this cruise, right yeah?
- 6:34Speaker 6: And I told you guys, I made a big girl purchase,
- 6:37Speaker 6: my first actual piece of furniture from a store and
- 6:40Speaker 6: it's a pull out sleeper twin size chair.
- 6:43Speaker 5: Really cool. Paid for the express delivery yesterday was supposed
- 6:46Speaker 5: to come.
- 6:47Speaker 6: My boyfriend works fifteen minutes from the house, so they
- 6:50Speaker 6: give the thirty minute warning and I'm like, hey, they're
- 6:52Speaker 6: on the way. He's like cool, jumps on the Harley,
- 6:55Speaker 6: going there. They arrived before him. They're starting to pull
- 6:59Speaker 6: out of the trailer park, so he flags him down
- 7:02Speaker 6: and tells the guy like, hey, you're at my house.
- 7:05Speaker 5: Sorry, dude, can you just drop it off?
- 7:07Speaker 6: They say no, why I guess they said you weren't here.
- 7:12Speaker 6: We're not delivering it. So then my boyfriend decides it
- 7:15Speaker 6: would be a good idea to give him the bird.
- 7:17Speaker 6: And then I'm like, oh my gosh, I gotta fix this.
- 7:20Speaker 3: Did they see those the one finger salute? Do you
- 7:23Speaker 3: think they saw it?
- 7:24Speaker 6: He said they didn't hear him, so it was a
- 7:27Speaker 6: verbal oh, there was a verbal yes.
- 7:30Speaker 5: It was a verbal one.
- 7:31Speaker 3: Yes, I understand.
- 7:32Speaker 5: He said, I don't think they heard me. I'm sorry.
- 7:34Speaker 5: I'm stressed out. He's been cleaning the house and doing
- 7:37Speaker 5: all kinds of stuff. So I'm like, I get it.
- 7:39Speaker 4: What do I do now?
- 7:40Speaker 5: Tried to reschedule. They said, sorry, we don't know if
- 7:45Speaker 5: we're going to be able to do that. We had
- 7:47Speaker 5: to put a request, and I'm like, I paid for delivery.
- 7:49Speaker 6: The delivery drivers also told me on the phone they
- 7:52Speaker 6: will not bring it in the house, and I was like,
- 7:54Speaker 6: I paid sixty dollars for you to bring it into
- 7:56Speaker 6: the house into the first hallway. That's what the deal was.
- 7:59Speaker 6: It was a h hundred in the room, sixty four
- 8:02Speaker 6: in the house. My trailer's got this really thin entryway with.
- 8:07Speaker 5: The fake wire railing on it.
- 8:10Speaker 6: So I really do need two guys together or one
- 8:14Speaker 6: guy to help Allie in order to get it up
- 8:16Speaker 6: into the door so it doesn't break that off.
- 8:18Speaker 5: I just I'm not strong enough to do it.
- 8:20Speaker 4: Sounds like we got a job ahead of his John.
- 8:21Speaker 5: Here Ross because they they said, no, we don't do that.
- 8:25Speaker 6: What And they were like, well, well, ma'am, ma'am, ma'am,
- 8:28Speaker 6: we'll do it for you this one time.
- 8:30Speaker 5: But you know what he said. He said, usually people
- 8:32Speaker 5: just give us tips to do that.
- 8:34Speaker 6: That's what he said to me on the phone. When
- 8:36Speaker 6: I said that, that is what he said. I said,
- 8:37Speaker 6: I paid sixty bucks.
- 8:38Speaker 3: For this, Yeah, somebody at tips.
- 8:40Speaker 4: Now he's turning me. Now, you got to dupe the
- 8:42Speaker 4: guy to do his job.
- 8:43Speaker 3: Shut, he's shaking you down.
- 8:45Speaker 5: And it didn't even come.
- 8:46Speaker 6: So I'm blaming my boyfriend for it in a way
- 8:48Speaker 6: because I'm like, you shouldn't have given him the bird,
- 8:50Speaker 6: the verbal bird. So he slept on the couch. My
- 8:53Speaker 6: girlfriend and me slept in our bed, but I had
- 8:56Speaker 6: to go home then and you know, put clean sheets
- 8:58Speaker 6: on the bed, clean our room, pick up all the
- 9:00Speaker 6: zin's off the floor because it was.
- 9:03Speaker 5: My best friend coming. So I'm so mad. We still
- 9:06Speaker 5: don't have this freaking ship.
- 9:08Speaker 3: They are rescheduling for today. Maybe they're going to bring it.
- 9:10Speaker 6: It's supposed to be. Okay, I'm not gonna be there.
- 9:13Speaker 6: It's all that's on Allie. I don't want to face something.
- 9:18Speaker 3: Or the best to stick around the house today.
- 9:20Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 9:20Speaker 2: My biggest issue is if he was pulling in, if
- 9:23Speaker 2: they were still in the trailer park and he was
- 9:25Speaker 2: pulling in and he's like, hey, listen, I'm just running
- 9:27Speaker 2: a few minutes behind you.
- 9:28Speaker 4: Guys are still here, can you drop it off? I
- 9:31Speaker 4: see where they should have been like, hey, listen, you
- 9:33Speaker 4: know we'll drop it off.
- 9:34Speaker 3: I think so too.
- 9:35Speaker 1: And there's the rule of law, but then there's a
- 9:37Speaker 1: spirit of the rule, and I think they should have
- 9:39Speaker 1: followed that spirit.
- 9:40Speaker 6: In at seven five during the week, it's really hard
- 9:46Speaker 6: to I mean, you would have to take a day off. Obviously,
- 9:48Speaker 6: I'm here and he's close enough that we figured the
- 9:52Speaker 6: thirty minute window would be fine, but just happened to be.
- 9:55Speaker 6: He was getting he was on his bike, didn't see
- 9:58Speaker 6: my text and.
- 10:02Speaker 1: Country ninety nine one w q i K The Big
- 10:05Speaker 1: Show with Froggie john and Megan good News on a Friday.
- 10:08Speaker 1: It doesn't get much better than this, Officer Antonio Johnson,
- 10:12Speaker 1: you never know. I mean, I think the j s
- 10:15Speaker 1: O and the f HP and everybody. Every day there
- 10:17Speaker 1: are heroes, but this was extra special. Officer Antonio Johnson
- 10:22Speaker 1: had a call that there was a man on top
- 10:23Speaker 1: of the Dame's Point Bridge and he was ready to
- 10:26Speaker 1: end his life. Well, Officer Johnson gets there and his
- 10:31Speaker 1: body cam picks up the rest of it from here.
- 10:33Speaker 3: Listen, you can get through this.
- 10:35Speaker 1: Come on, let's talk about a FuG not I hold
- 10:39Speaker 1: the hand and pray with Come on, man, touch my head,
- 10:42Speaker 1: touch it from your side, look at my head.
- 10:44Speaker 4: Just touch my head.
- 10:46Speaker 3: You're hurting. But if you jump, you gonna hurt.
- 10:48Speaker 4: Other people and then they gonna be hurting, just like
- 10:50Speaker 4: you heard it.
- 10:51Speaker 3: Now the psycho got the stop of hurt.
- 10:53Speaker 4: I know you got a lot going on.
- 10:55Speaker 6: You do well.
- 10:57Speaker 3: Whatever if you make that jump, it is going to
- 10:59Speaker 3: be off hundred times worse than everyone you care about.
- 11:02Speaker 4: I know you don't want to do that to them.
- 11:05Speaker 5: Ruin there, Come on, man, come on please.
- 11:10Speaker 1: It's at that moment that he reaches towards the policemen
- 11:13Speaker 1: and they're hugging each other right now, It's all right, it's.
- 11:21Speaker 4: I love you, We all love you.
- 11:23Speaker 3: You read us badge for many reasons.
- 11:27Speaker 5: This is the main reason to reach those whom the
- 11:30Speaker 5: devil thinks you got.
- 11:33Speaker 4: He got you.
- 11:34Speaker 1: The big show on your Friday. It's froggy John and Megan. Yeah,
- 11:38Speaker 1: you know how many times it's every thought of yourself.
- 11:42Speaker 1: How many hours a day are you looking at a screen?
- 11:44Speaker 3: Like John?
- 11:44Speaker 4: For example?
- 11:45Speaker 3: Right now?
- 11:45Speaker 4: How many screens are in front of you?
- 11:48Speaker 2: One, two, three, four? Correct, Megan, how many are in
- 11:50Speaker 2: front of you? Two including your including your phone? Yeah,
- 11:55Speaker 2: I just have two. I don't you know, I don't
- 11:56Speaker 2: have the monitor right extra, how about you frog one, two, three,
- 12:01Speaker 2: four and then my phone would be five.
- 12:04Speaker 4: That's a lot, It says nearly a quarter.
- 12:07Speaker 2: Twenty five percent of us haven't been to the optometrist
- 12:10Speaker 2: in the last year. Another fifteen percent can't remember the
- 12:12Speaker 2: last time. Why because we're overdue eye exams and they
- 12:16Speaker 2: say that our eyes are declining at a pace that
- 12:19Speaker 2: they've never seen before, and they believe it's because of
- 12:23Speaker 2: how many screens we are looking at every single day.
- 12:26Speaker 3: Oof, that's scary.
- 12:28Speaker 1: John.
- 12:29Speaker 5: Have you been in the eye doctor lately? I?
- 12:31Speaker 3: Have you have yeah in front of you? I?
- 12:34Speaker 4: Do you remember?
- 12:35Speaker 2: I just had to have my contact update less than
- 12:38Speaker 2: a year because I had had some macular degeneration?
- 12:42Speaker 4: Or would it some I speak?
- 12:44Speaker 2: But they say that we spend an average let me
- 12:47Speaker 2: just here, I'll ask you guys, how many hours.
- 12:51Speaker 4: A week do you think we spend looking at screens?
- 12:56Speaker 3: Well?
- 12:56Speaker 1: I spent five here right on air, and then I
- 12:59Speaker 1: do day hour afterwards, six and then a couple hours
- 13:05Speaker 1: at home I would bet looking for stuff to talk about.
- 13:08Speaker 1: So I'm forty hours a week on a screen.
- 13:11Speaker 5: I think I've over doubled that.
- 13:13Speaker 2: Yeah, the average American spends over fifty hours a week
- 13:17Speaker 2: in front of screens. And if you think about it,
- 13:20Speaker 2: you're surrounded by screens. There's screens in your car, there
- 13:23Speaker 2: are screens at work. When you go to now, when
- 13:25Speaker 2: you go to most restaurants, if you go to like
- 13:27Speaker 2: a fast casual or a fast food restaurant, then on
- 13:30Speaker 2: the old school menu boards. Anymore of the screens. That's true.
- 13:33Speaker 4: We are looking at screens all the time, and it's bad.
- 13:37Speaker 3: For our eyes. That light's got to be doing something
- 13:39Speaker 3: to us.
- 13:40Speaker 4: It has to be.
- 13:40Speaker 2: Yeah, I've got my contact has a blue light filter
- 13:44Speaker 2: built into it that's supposed to help you with some
- 13:47Speaker 2: of the screens. Megan loves to make fun of the
- 13:49Speaker 2: fact that I wear one contact.
- 13:51Speaker 3: I'm one.
- 13:54Speaker 2: He only has one eye. Ever me timbers and give
- 13:57Speaker 2: me me food. Bring on the girl that day called
- 14:02Speaker 2: that frog.
- 14:03Speaker 4: So just be aware. If you've thought your vision is
- 14:06Speaker 4: a little bit off, it might be because of how
- 14:08Speaker 4: many screens were looking at every single day.
- 14:10Speaker 3: That's a very good.
- 14:11Speaker 2: Boys, getting the Bagan's three things to get our Jacksonville
- 14:15Speaker 2: Friday Roll and then kick off this weekend.
- 14:17Speaker 6: This afternoon, look up into the sky, you will probably
- 14:21Speaker 6: be able to see the May flower moon. May is
- 14:25Speaker 6: unique because there's actually two moons, full moons happening this month.
- 14:29Speaker 6: So anytime that happens, the second one is called the
- 14:32Speaker 6: blue moon. So we'll have a mayflower.
- 14:34Speaker 5: Moon and then a May blue moon. Kind of awesome Tomorrow.
- 14:38Speaker 6: At seven pm publics the two of You's favorite place
- 14:42Speaker 6: to go is having a one dollar movie night at
- 14:44Speaker 6: the Vice Star Ballpark.
- 14:46Speaker 5: And there's a lot going on this weekend.
- 14:48Speaker 6: We've talked about some of it, but I thought we
- 14:51Speaker 6: could maybe revisit some of it. Sure, Sharks are playing,
- 14:53Speaker 6: Sporting Jackson's playing, Mma, fights are happening, Comedians, rock stars,
- 14:58Speaker 6: the whole nine.
- 14:59Speaker 5: So nothing to keep you board this week and Greg.
- 15:01Speaker 1: Reggae on the deck on Sunday. Hopefully we'll have the
- 15:03Speaker 1: good weather to do that.
- 15:04Speaker 3: That's right.
- 15:05Speaker 6: Oh, that's such a fun tides in free Coronas. That's
- 15:08Speaker 6: three things you need to know, all right. Florida Country

- 15:23Speaker 1: We do look like and we might have a wet
- 15:25Speaker 1: weekend and we accept it. We say thank you, we
- 15:28Speaker 1: appreciate the rain. But still some things to do this
- 15:31Speaker 1: we can inside and out some great concerts, some sporting events.
- 15:35Speaker 1: The Isle of Eight Flag Shrimp Festival will be happening.
- 15:37Speaker 1: It might be a little damp out there in downtown
- 15:39Speaker 1: front Adina, but it's free and fun.
- 15:40Speaker 6: And that's where the fireworks show is being replaced by
- 15:43Speaker 6: the drone show, right, so that'd be really cool to see.
- 15:46Speaker 3: That would be cool.
- 15:48Speaker 2: Maybe the rain can hold off for like just a
- 15:50Speaker 2: little bit while you do the drone show, where it
- 15:51Speaker 2: can rain, rain stops, rain can have like an intermission
- 15:55Speaker 2: of sorts. That would be great, and then the rain
- 15:58Speaker 2: comes back when the drone show's done, as we need
- 16:00Speaker 2: to ring, I don't want the rain to go away.
- 16:02Speaker 4: Just take a.
- 16:02Speaker 2: Break, maybe get a breather, and then rain some more. Yeah,
- 16:04Speaker 2: I like that.
- 16:06Speaker 1: That sounds like a Jerry Seinfeld bit actually, and Jerry's
- 16:08Speaker 1: we can order it that way please. Jerry Seinfeld tonight
- 16:12Speaker 1: at the Moran Theater there was with all his ring,
- 16:14Speaker 1: what's the.
- 16:17Speaker 4: What's with the fires? Who's going around sudden fires?
- 16:20Speaker 1: Jerry Seinfeld tonight the Moran Theater. You want some rock
- 16:23Speaker 1: and roll, you want boom boom, out go the lights.
- 16:24Speaker 1: You want that to happen to you, Well you can
- 16:26Speaker 1: go to five tonight and see Pat Travers. I have
- 16:28Speaker 1: not thought of that Pat Travers since in a long time,
- 16:30Speaker 1: but Pat some old time rock and roll is going
- 16:32Speaker 1: to be at five Graham Nash speaking of old time
- 16:35Speaker 1: rock and roll, he is a multi entry into the
- 16:37Speaker 1: Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, playing at the Pond
- 16:40Speaker 1: of Meter Concert Hall tonight Tomorrow night. You want some
- 16:42Speaker 1: arena football? Fins up the Jacksonville Sharks. Sharks awesome they
- 16:46Speaker 1: play tomorrow night. You want your edgy Southern chick. Comedian
- 16:52Speaker 1: Denay Hayes is that her name? Yeah, she's playing at
- 16:56Speaker 1: the Terry Theater. She's a little rough around the edges.
- 16:59Speaker 1: We'll say, I don't know.
- 17:00Speaker 6: That was like a super family friendly one, not a
- 17:03Speaker 6: family Yvonne.
- 17:04Speaker 5: Don't take the kids to the vonn to take the
- 17:06Speaker 5: kids today, just.
- 17:07Speaker 3: Letting you know. Uh.
- 17:08Speaker 1: And then there's Combat Night look Out. I think Megan
- 17:11Speaker 1: wants to participate. Yeah.
- 17:13Speaker 5: Do they have open zignups?
- 17:14Speaker 1: I don't think that Kim and Elkton will start with you.
- 17:18Speaker 1: Tax season is officially over. I guess for most what
- 17:22Speaker 1: percentage of people have regrets about what they did with
- 17:26Speaker 1: last year's tax refund? What percentage thought they should have
- 17:29Speaker 1: done something better.
- 17:30Speaker 3: With their money?
- 17:33Speaker 1: I'll say six.
- 17:35Speaker 3: Ashley, is that number higher or lower?
- 17:38Speaker 5: Lower?
- 17:39Speaker 3: You're right?
- 17:39Speaker 1: Twenty three percent, twenty three percent. They don't feel so
- 17:43Speaker 1: bad about it. I don't feel bad. Did you feel
- 17:45Speaker 1: bad about your money?
- 17:46Speaker 2: No?
- 17:47Speaker 5: I needed to pay capital one?
- 17:50Speaker 3: Lookout.
- 17:50Speaker 5: I'm cool.
- 17:51Speaker 3: You knew what you had to do with that one.
- 17:53Speaker 1: Okay, all right, Ashley, you get this question first. He
- 17:56Speaker 1: was just in the country addressing Congress and talking to
- 18:00Speaker 1: our president, King.
- 18:01Speaker 3: Charles King, Charles. How old is he now, Ashley? Oh goodness,
- 18:07Speaker 3: seventy six? Kim, is that number higher or lower?
- 18:12Speaker 5: I'm gonna stay higher.
- 18:14Speaker 3: It was a.
- 18:14Speaker 1: Great guest, Ashley. But it was only one year older. Wow,
- 18:19Speaker 1: he looks like he's seventy seven. For the last fifty years,
- 18:22Speaker 1: he's seventy seven years old. So, Kim, you get that point.
- 18:25Speaker 1: Very good time for it. Sure we go, Okay, here
- 18:30Speaker 1: we go. If you know the answer to this question,
- 18:33Speaker 1: shout your name. It's one of those what are there
- 18:36Speaker 1: more of? What are there more of? Passwords or people?
- 18:42Speaker 1: Ashley ashleywords past words is correct three times as many
- 18:47Speaker 1: passwords as people in this My god, Ashley's going to
- 18:50Speaker 1: be our winner.
- 18:50Speaker 5: Wait to go.
- 18:52Speaker 4: Thank you, congrats, Kim, Thanks for playing.
- 18:56Speaker 3: Have a great weekend.
- 18:57Speaker 6: Thank you.
- 18:57Speaker 3: Congrats Ashley.
- 18:59Speaker 4: Thank you, Froggy.
- 19:00Speaker 1: John and Meghan, welcome in and thank you for letting
- 19:02Speaker 1: us be a part of yours. With Country ninety nine
- 19:04Speaker 1: one WQYK.
- 19:06Speaker 2: So you know, before I lived here in Jack's I
- 19:09Speaker 2: lived in South Florida, and every year around this time
- 19:13Speaker 2: people would get jacked up, man, because the Python challenge
- 19:17Speaker 2: would come up.
- 19:18Speaker 4: Where challenge?
- 19:19Speaker 2: Just so John, you know about the Python challenge where
- 19:22Speaker 2: so Megan, what happens is people get snakes, they get
- 19:24Speaker 2: pet snakes, and whether it's usually their Boa constrictors and
- 19:27Speaker 2: things like.
- 19:28Speaker 4: That, they get too big to have in a house.
- 19:32Speaker 2: And so what do they do. They take them and
- 19:34Speaker 2: put them out in the everglades. Well, when they get
- 19:36Speaker 2: out in the everglades, they grow like wildfire. These snakes
- 19:39Speaker 2: become larger than the habitat that they're in, and they're
- 19:43Speaker 2: then they're dangerous. So they do the Python challenge where
- 19:47Speaker 2: they will if I believe that there's a reward for
- 19:50Speaker 2: who gets the biggest and the most snakes.
- 19:52Speaker 1: Type type that up, Megan, look up, look that Python challenge.
- 19:55Speaker 1: She's thinking this is Florida man folklore, and she's just
- 19:58Speaker 1: finding out right now by her eyebrows that yes, this
- 20:01Speaker 1: is a real feel. It does it in the summertime.
- 20:03Speaker 1: It happens in the summer, but they normally start talking
- 20:05Speaker 1: about it now to get people ready to go. Uh,
- 20:08Speaker 1: because you got to put in. You gotta sign up
- 20:10Speaker 1: for it. And then they give a prize or something
- 20:12Speaker 1: for the one who hits the most.
- 20:14Speaker 5: Ten days, ten thousand dollars.
- 20:17Speaker 6: Yes, wait, so you're telling me people are running around
- 20:20Speaker 6: trying to catch snakes and sacks to.
- 20:23Speaker 3: Win Welcome to Florida.
- 20:25Speaker 5: It's like the Hunger Games, but trying to get a snake.
- 20:27Speaker 4: Yes, would you do it? Megan?
- 20:31Speaker 5: You know, I try anything once.
- 20:33Speaker 3: There you go. But I don't know how.
- 20:35Speaker 6: To catch a snake and I've never seen a large
- 20:39Speaker 6: snake like that before.
- 20:40Speaker 1: Well that's why there's YouTube. I'm sure they'll show you
- 20:42Speaker 1: how to catch one. There's only one kind of good snake.
- 20:47Speaker 4: Here, is that John?
- 20:48Speaker 3: A dead one?
- 20:49Speaker 4: A dead one.
- 20:49Speaker 5: Oh.
- 20:50Speaker 2: I like that farm because they eat some of the
- 20:52Speaker 2: bugs that do. Yeah, the little black racers. I know
- 20:55Speaker 2: those are good to have around, and I just stay
- 20:56Speaker 2: away from home. I'm just terrified a snake, so I
- 20:59Speaker 2: don't and you have to do. There's the rhyme yellow
- 21:02Speaker 2: touches black, friend of Jack, red touches yellow.
- 21:05Speaker 4: Not a good fellow, Like.
- 21:06Speaker 3: I don't have time for that rhyme. When I do have.
- 21:08Speaker 4: Time for that, and I get it all mixed up
- 21:10Speaker 4: and I'm gonna be I'm gonna be dead.
- 21:11Speaker 6: And you know what someone will always tell you when
- 21:13Speaker 6: you show them a picture of the snake in your backyard,
- 21:15Speaker 6: to say, oh, it's just a rat snake, don't worry
- 21:18Speaker 6: about that.
- 21:18Speaker 5: It's harmless. And you're like a rat snake with all these.
- 21:21Speaker 3: Stripes on it and rattles.
- 21:25Speaker 5: The snake that killed my childhood dog. Is that a
- 21:27Speaker 5: rat snake?
- 21:28Speaker 2: No, that's a ratler. You know, there's pigmy rattlers that
- 21:32Speaker 2: are small. Those are dangerous. And the baby the baby
- 21:35Speaker 2: ones are worse than the adult ones because the baby
- 21:36Speaker 2: ones can't control their venom, so they just release it
- 21:39Speaker 2: all at once.
- 21:39Speaker 4: That's deadly.
- 21:40Speaker 2: Yeah, I just obviously cotton mouth water moccasins are bad.
- 21:43Speaker 2: Like I just once again, I don't like any snakes.
- 21:47Speaker 2: So Meg, if you want to go hunt snakes, go ahead,
- 21:49Speaker 2: just don't bring them here to the radio station.
- 21:50Speaker 3: Tightson challenge, just learn how to do it YouTube.
- 21:54Speaker 6: Maybe I'll sing them a song and they'll you know,
- 21:57Speaker 6: snake hands, Oh you know, I'll play them some Ella Langley,
- 22:02Speaker 6: she's number one, and they'll just start dancing together, side
- 22:06Speaker 6: to side.
- 22:06Speaker 2: Get video of that. That's getting to Megan's three things.
- 22:10Speaker 2: It gets you through your jacks Friday, gets your weekend going.
- 22:13Speaker 6: This afternoon, before it even gets dark, you should be
- 22:16Speaker 6: able to see the May flower moon. And what's really
- 22:19Speaker 6: cool about this is May is actually really unique. This
- 22:22Speaker 6: year there will be two full moons in the same month.
- 22:25Speaker 6: So when that happens, the second one is called the
- 22:27Speaker 6: blue Moon.
- 22:28Speaker 5: Pretty cool.
- 22:29Speaker 6: Tomorrow seven pm Publics is doing a one dollar movie
- 22:33Speaker 6: night at the vices Star Public which is really awesome.
- 22:36Speaker 6: If you've got kids you want to take them out,
- 22:38Speaker 6: that'd be a great opportunity and Costco. They're changing up
- 22:42Speaker 6: their hot dog meal that you can get. Usually it
- 22:44Speaker 6: comes with a soft drink that's refillable. Now you can
- 22:48Speaker 6: swap it out.
- 22:48Speaker 3: For water, not even raising the price.
- 22:50Speaker 6: Not even raising the price, So Froggy, you are supposed
- 22:54Speaker 6: to be drinking.
- 22:55Speaker 5: Water, Yes, so maybe this is for you.
- 22:58Speaker 2: Hot dog in the water and it's only a dollar fifty.
- 23:01Speaker 2: It's been that way for forty years Big show. Megan's
- 23:04Speaker 2: gonna be going non stop on a cruise next week.
- 23:07Speaker 5: I'm terrified.
- 23:09Speaker 3: And so you've never cruised before, never.
- 23:11Speaker 6: Ever, and I never had any intention to. But my
- 23:15Speaker 6: best friend won free cruise at the casino, so now
- 23:19Speaker 6: we're going.
- 23:20Speaker 5: So I got her this.
- 23:21Speaker 6: Cute little bag that matches mind, these little canvas tots
- 23:24Speaker 6: that are like trendy. Yeah, and I packed it full
- 23:26Speaker 6: of these glow sticks because I knew it would make
- 23:28Speaker 6: her laugh.
- 23:29Speaker 5: So glowsticks she got into tell last night. She opened
- 23:33Speaker 5: it up and she was like, we're not gonna crash, Megan,
- 23:36Speaker 5: We're not gonna die this week.
- 23:38Speaker 2: So she's worried about an iceberg. I'm like, you going
- 23:40Speaker 2: to the Bahama Iceberg.
- 23:43Speaker 3: You're good.
- 23:43Speaker 1: Too much Titanic for her exactly. And so she heard
- 23:48Speaker 1: Angie talking about our midday Magon, Angie Ward talking about
- 23:52Speaker 1: glow sticks. Yeah, and Angie she doesn't have them, just
- 23:55Speaker 1: in case the thing sinks and she needs to be
- 23:57Speaker 1: found in the middle of nowhere.
- 23:59Speaker 6: She told me she get some to help her walk
- 24:01Speaker 6: around at night and see, yes.
- 24:03Speaker 5: And I told my friend that because I.
- 24:05Speaker 6: Thought the glow sticks were the equivalent of having like
- 24:08Speaker 6: a flare gun. I thought we were super safe. And
- 24:11Speaker 6: my friend was like even more confused. She was like,
- 24:14Speaker 6: it's not pitch black on the cruise. Like people are
- 24:17Speaker 6: up all the time.
- 24:18Speaker 5: What is going on?
- 24:20Speaker 3: They have electricity, It's crazy.
- 24:22Speaker 5: I don't know what to expect.
- 24:24Speaker 6: I've got a more drumamine that I've never taken before
- 24:27Speaker 6: in my life.
- 24:27Speaker 2: Oh, you're looking to these little patch behind the ear,
- 24:30Speaker 2: which is probably a little better than taking the pill.
- 24:32Speaker 5: Yeah, that's what she got me.
- 24:33Speaker 6: She rolled in with those, and she said, you have
- 24:36Speaker 6: to put this on tonight and we're not going to
- 24:38Speaker 6: the bars tonight, right And I said okay.
- 24:41Speaker 5: She was like, you're gonna be so sick.
- 24:43Speaker 3: Oh my god, but I'll have my glove stick.
- 24:45Speaker 1: I hope you have a wonderful weekend. Megan's on vacation
- 24:48Speaker 1: all next week. She's going to be cruising in the
- 24:51Speaker 1: Big Show before we leave. What do we learn, Megan?
- 24:54Speaker 1: What did you learn today?
- 24:55Speaker 6: I shouldn't be worried about not returning after this cruise.
- 24:57Speaker 5: But I hope to see you guys.
- 24:58Speaker 6: Get the Big Show Extra sponsored by Farah and Sarah.
- 25:04Speaker 4: Here for You, Here for Good
