- 0:00Speaker 1: Three things you need to know.
- 0:02Speaker 2: All right, all right, Happy Tuesday, friends, Welcome to a
- 0:05Speaker 2: brand new day. Thank you for starting with your friends
- 0:07Speaker 2: over here at the River. Ricky's got those three things.
- 0:10Speaker 3: The trailer for Scary Movie six is out and it's
- 0:12Speaker 3: got people talking, that's for sure. This marks the return
- 0:16Speaker 3: of Anna Faris, Regina Hall, along with franchise ogs like
- 0:20Speaker 3: Marlin and Damon Wayne's. This is twenty six years after
- 0:23Speaker 3: the original film first hit screen, so it's pretty crazy
- 0:27Speaker 3: to think that they're kind of bringing it back this way.
- 0:29Speaker 3: The trailer makes fun of movies like Megan, Terrifier, Weapons
- 0:33Speaker 3: and Sinners, and it does get political, which is something
- 0:36Speaker 3: that they always did with these movies, which obviously is
- 0:40Speaker 3: what has people talking. Scary Movie is going to hit
- 0:43Speaker 3: theaters on June twelfth if you would like to see it.
- 0:46Speaker 3: Like I said, twenty six years after the original film,
- 0:49Speaker 3: which is wild to think about. Church Street Park is
- 0:52Speaker 3: honoring Women's History Month with celebrations every Sunday. This is
- 0:56Speaker 3: really cute, so each Sunday is a different event, from
- 0:59Speaker 3: live music to workout classes to creative classes. You can
- 1:03Speaker 3: check out what each day has to offer on their Instagram.
- 1:06Speaker 3: At Church Street Park. They're located just steps from where
- 1:09Speaker 3: Tennessee casts the vote to decide to ratify the nineteenth
- 1:13Speaker 3: Amendment in nineteen twenty, so that gave the women the
- 1:16Speaker 3: right to vote, and that kind of makes this a
- 1:18Speaker 3: great place to celebrate that same thing. And Apple has
- 1:23Speaker 3: announced a new quote affordable iPhone. I say quote because
- 1:29Speaker 3: it's still quite too expensive, the new budget option of
- 1:32Speaker 3: the iPhone seventeen e. Again, these are the words of
- 1:35Speaker 3: the Internet, not me. It keeps the same six point
- 1:39Speaker 3: one inch design that you know, It adds a faster
- 1:42Speaker 3: A nineteen chip, it improves the ceramic glass shield, It's
- 1:47Speaker 3: got mag safe charging. There's also a single rear camera
- 1:51Speaker 3: that got a boost with an upgraded sensor and enhanced
- 1:54Speaker 3: portrait features. And the storage starts at two hundred and
- 1:58Speaker 3: fifty six gigabytes for ninety nine dollars.
- 2:01Speaker 2: Yeah that's expensive.
- 2:03Speaker 3: Yeah, pre order start tomorrow if you are interested. The
- 2:07Speaker 3: phone hits shelves on March eleventh, in black, white, and
- 2:11Speaker 3: soft pink. Like I said, words of the Internet, not
- 2:14Speaker 3: necessarily me. Six hundred dollars is still a lot of
- 2:17Speaker 3: money for a phone, but when you compare it to
- 2:19Speaker 3: the other ones, it is a quote unquote discount. I'm
- 2:24Speaker 3: Ricky Sanchez and those are the three things you need
- 2:26Speaker 3: to know.
- 2:26Speaker 2: Dang okay, thank you, Ricky appreciated coming up within ten
- 2:29Speaker 2: minutes for the first caller of the day. We have
- 2:31Speaker 2: more of these tickets into Freely Fest, which is happening
- 2:33Speaker 2: next month at Bridgetone. The Killers t Paint a Bunch
- 2:35Speaker 2: are gonna be there. You can win those next right
- 2:38Speaker 2: here on the rivers Olivia.
- 2:39Speaker 4: Deans, Ricky, is, Zach and Mano in the morning, one.
- 2:45Speaker 2: Five the River, Ricky, Zach and Mano in the morning,
- 2:47Speaker 2: saying hello to Kimberly in Nashville. Hi, Kimberly, good morning,
- 2:52Speaker 2: Good morning, good morning. Here's a couple of questions, song guys,
- 2:57Speaker 2: a couple questions for you. What are you doing? Where
- 2:59Speaker 2: do you what do you do? And how's your day going?
- 3:02Speaker 2: So far?
- 3:03Speaker 5: Well, so far, my day is wonderful. It always such
- 3:06Speaker 5: early because I am a kindergarten teacher.
- 3:09Speaker 2: Bless you.
- 3:10Speaker 5: Yeah, truly, We're only three and a half days away
- 3:14Speaker 5: from spring breaks, so I'm not real.
- 3:15Speaker 3: Upseess so close. I know you can probably taste it
- 3:18Speaker 3: at this point. You're like, freedom is right there.
- 3:21Speaker 5: It's right there.
- 3:22Speaker 3: It is.
- 3:23Speaker 2: Are most days like you want to pull your hair out?
- 3:25Speaker 2: Or is it sweet and fun?
- 3:27Speaker 1: No?
- 3:27Speaker 5: I really have such a very sweet little class this year,
- 3:31Speaker 5: so they make it fun going inwards. They keep me
- 3:33Speaker 5: on my toes for sure. Yeah, but they're beautiful, wonderful kids,
- 3:37Speaker 5: and I really can't ask for better.
- 3:39Speaker 3: Well, Kimberly, I will say, I know they keep you
- 3:41Speaker 3: on your toes. They're tiny little humans. These adult humans
- 3:44Speaker 3: in the studio with me also keep me on my toes,
- 3:47Speaker 3: so I don't know that that ever stops. Yeah, you're welcome, No,
- 3:50Speaker 3: kid doesn't. It doesn't matter the age at all.
- 3:54Speaker 2: Kimberly. Are you doing anything for spring break? You go anywhere.
- 3:57Speaker 5: I'm just going to hang out with my girls Tier
- 3:59Speaker 5: in Nashville, working to just kind of do a staycation and.
- 4:04Speaker 3: Adorable. I love that you deserve it. We love our teachers.
- 4:07Speaker 3: We talk about how much we love our teachers so
- 4:09Speaker 3: much on one O seven five of the River, like truly,
- 4:11Speaker 3: we think you guys are absolutely amazing. We could never
- 4:14Speaker 3: do it, so we admire you so much for doing it.
- 4:18Speaker 3: And I'm so happy to hear that you're gonna have
- 4:19Speaker 3: such an amazing week next week. You're also going to
- 4:22Speaker 3: have an amazing day on April eighth because you're going
- 4:24Speaker 3: to be at Freely Fast I Bridge don Arena.
- 4:27Speaker 5: Yay.
- 4:28Speaker 2: Wow yeah the congratulations t Pain Dominic fight going to
- 4:32Speaker 2: be there.
- 4:33Speaker 3: Yes, teachers off, thank you so much for hanging out
- 4:38Speaker 3: with us, Kimberly, We really appreciate you.
- 4:40Speaker 5: Thank you so much. You guys have a wonderful day.
- 4:43Speaker 3: Hang on the line, okay, love Okay. Thanks.
- 4:45Speaker 2: Who were your kindergarten teachers? You guys remember their names?
- 4:47Speaker 3: Miss Damian She was my favorite ever and she was
- 4:50Speaker 3: one of my only teachers that I actually genuinely liked,
- 4:52Speaker 3: and she would give us skittles every Friday. If we
- 4:54Speaker 3: were good, you would get a handful.
- 4:56Speaker 6: You never.
- 4:58Speaker 3: Actually fun fact, my class was across from her classroom
- 5:02Speaker 3: for I think it was like fourth or fifth grade,
- 5:05Speaker 3: and on a Friday, when I came back from the bathroom,
- 5:08Speaker 3: she was doing her little like skittles ceremony that she
- 5:10Speaker 3: would do every Friday, and she pulled me into class
- 5:13Speaker 3: and told the class that I was one of our
- 5:14Speaker 3: favorite students ever, and she gave me a handful of skittles.
- 5:17Speaker 2: I think mostly because she was scared of you. She
- 5:19Speaker 2: had to.
- 5:19Speaker 3: I was an adorable child. I wasn't a problem until
- 5:22Speaker 3: about middle school, high school.
- 5:23Speaker 7: Okay, Ricky, Zach and Menno in the Morning Today, March third,
- 5:30Speaker 7: is my wedding anniversary.
- 5:34Speaker 2: Guys, that was very sweet of you, completely un solicited. There,
- 5:37Speaker 2: It's what I was seventy five of the River. We
- 5:39Speaker 2: don't really have plans. My wife and I don't really
- 5:41Speaker 2: have plans today to do anything, but if we celebrate
- 5:46Speaker 2: the way we've spent the last week. Oh, we're gonna
- 5:49Speaker 2: do something utterly insane. Oh, my wife has lost her mind.
- 5:54Speaker 3: Okay, are we sure that she's lost her mind or
- 5:57Speaker 3: that you're just a little fragile right now?
- 5:59Speaker 1: Like?
- 5:59Speaker 3: Which way is it?
- 6:00Speaker 4: No?
- 6:00Speaker 2: I think it's the first one. Right after the song,
- 6:02Speaker 2: I'll tell you what she's doing and see if you
- 6:03Speaker 2: guys are on her side or my side, because hers
- 6:07Speaker 2: it's driving me nuts.
- 6:08Speaker 4: We'll tell you next On the River Ricky is Zach
- 6:11Speaker 4: and Manno in the morning.
- 6:12Speaker 1: On the River today.
- 6:15Speaker 3: Is Kevin and his wife Ali's anniversary. Happy anniversary to
- 6:18Speaker 3: both of you.
- 6:19Speaker 2: Thanks you guys. Nine years, nine years, nine years.
- 6:21Speaker 3: Whoa, she's dealt with you that long? Yeah, that's impressive.
- 6:25Speaker 3: So not only is that impressive, there's apparently something that
- 6:28Speaker 3: may be happening for your celebration that is insane. It's Ricky,
- 6:32Speaker 3: Zach and Manno in the morning on one O seven
- 6:34Speaker 3: five of the river. What is your wife doing this
- 6:36Speaker 3: week that's making you insane that you think will now
- 6:39Speaker 3: bleed into your anniversary.
- 6:40Speaker 2: It has nothing to do with our anniversary. But I'm
- 6:42Speaker 2: one thousand percent sure this is how we're going to
- 6:44Speaker 2: spend the day painting white squares everywhere in our house.
- 6:49Speaker 8: I will say it does sound insane, Kevin, But the
- 6:52Speaker 8: white looks different depending on the lighting in the room
- 6:55Speaker 8: and the time of the day, So you have to
- 6:56Speaker 8: like put white squares everywhere to see which one looks
- 6:59Speaker 8: the best.
- 6:59Speaker 2: I don't have the brain for it, man, Like I
- 7:01Speaker 2: don't see a difference. I don't know if I'm partially
- 7:03Speaker 2: color blind or if we all just perceive different things
- 7:06Speaker 2: different ways. But like she's getting frustrated with me that
- 7:09Speaker 2: I don't see. She's like, this white is green, this
- 7:11Speaker 2: white is red. This white Like I don't see that.
- 7:14Speaker 2: I don't.
- 7:14Speaker 3: So is this hard for you because of the way
- 7:16Speaker 3: that she's reacting to your reactions, or is it hard
- 7:20Speaker 3: for you because you're seeing a bunch of tiny squares
- 7:23Speaker 3: all over your home because you like a night a
- 7:26Speaker 3: nice tidy. You're very specific about the way that you
- 7:29Speaker 3: like things to look. So which way is driving you?
- 7:31Speaker 2: Moresuming her? It's all she talks about it, like I
- 7:37Speaker 2: was ready to go to bed last night. She had
- 7:38Speaker 2: a roller out. She's painting an entire wall. Yeah, I
- 7:42Speaker 2: just don't. I don't see the difference, but you know,
- 7:44Speaker 2: I want her to be happy in the space. We
- 7:46Speaker 2: moved into this new house over the summer and something
- 7:49Speaker 2: in the living room has felt like a little off
- 7:51Speaker 2: to her, and she clicked that it's the paint color
- 7:53Speaker 2: because it reflects green, and now we have so many
- 7:57Speaker 2: little cans of paint on it.
- 7:58Speaker 3: Actually, it might be on Kevin's side once.
- 8:00Speaker 8: The only reason that I'm not on your side is
- 8:02Speaker 8: because we just had our entire house repainted gray. And
- 8:06Speaker 8: you think you just go to Loath and you buy gray. No,
- 8:08Speaker 8: all of them have a different undertone, and like some
- 8:10Speaker 8: of them were like driving me crazy because this one
- 8:12Speaker 8: had a purple undertone.
- 8:13Speaker 3: This one take you to choose Zach, probably two weeks Okay,
- 8:17Speaker 3: how long has it been, Kevin?
- 8:19Speaker 2: About a week?
- 8:20Speaker 3: All right? Another week week that you have to just
- 8:25Speaker 3: deal with it. Then hopefully it'll be figured out.
- 8:27Speaker 2: I got to look it up for something, because I
- 8:28Speaker 2: just I think my brain works differently. I don't see
- 8:30Speaker 2: the undertone.
- 8:31Speaker 3: You just don't care.
- 8:32Speaker 2: I also don't care at all. Good point, Ricky, that's it.
- 8:36Speaker 2: You know what the point here? I know I'm calling
- 8:37Speaker 2: her crazy on our anniversary half the unniversary, Alley, I
- 8:40Speaker 2: love you so much.
- 8:42Speaker 4: Three Things.
- 8:44Speaker 2: That's after seven o'clock here on this Tuesday morning. Let's
- 8:47Speaker 2: make it a great day. Ricky Sanchez has your three Things.
- 8:50Speaker 3: We're getting a Harry Styles concert film. So Netflix has
- 8:53Speaker 3: partnered with Harry Styles four concert film that's happening this weekend.
- 8:57Speaker 3: This is going to be the first concert in three
- 8:59Speaker 3: years to be recorded by him, so obviously this is
- 9:02Speaker 3: a pretty big deal. He's going to perform his new
- 9:04Speaker 3: album Kiss All the Time Disco Occasionally in Manchester, England
- 9:08Speaker 3: on Friday, with Netflix in attendance to record it. So
- 9:12Speaker 3: Harry Styles One Night in Manchester will then be released
- 9:14Speaker 3: this Sunday, so it's gonna be a quick turnaround time.
- 9:18Speaker 3: Side note though, if that's not enough Harry for you.
- 9:21Speaker 3: He is pulling double duty as host and musical guest
- 9:25Speaker 3: on Saturday Night Live the following weekend on the fourteenth,
- 9:28Speaker 3: So you get Harry's whole concert film this weekend, and
- 9:32Speaker 3: then next weekend you see him on Us and Out.
- 9:34Speaker 3: It's just back to back Harry weekends. And the highest
- 9:38Speaker 3: pollen levels of the year are hitting Nashville right now.
- 9:41Speaker 3: I'm so sorry to report on this. Just a couple
- 9:44Speaker 3: of weeks ago, national's pollen levels were low to moderate,
- 9:46Speaker 3: but starting today and lasting through Friday, levels are going
- 9:48Speaker 3: to reach moderate to high. I saw a video the
- 9:51Speaker 3: other day of a massive just gust of polland going
- 9:56Speaker 3: through Franklin. It was just like a big ball of pollen,
- 10:00Speaker 3: so be ready for that. The main pollen contributors in
- 10:03Speaker 3: the midstay are juniper, maple and alder trees. Elm trees
- 10:07Speaker 3: can also have an effect, and then obviously a bunch
- 10:09Speaker 3: of other pollen is going to be playing a huge
- 10:12Speaker 3: role in this week and the weeks to come, So
- 10:14Speaker 3: make sure that you are stocking up on all of
- 10:16Speaker 3: your allergy medications. You start taking them now so that
- 10:19Speaker 3: they're actually effective. We're in for it this year. And
- 10:24Speaker 3: Doritos is jumping on the protein trend. This is something
- 10:27Speaker 3: that pretty much everybody is doing at this point. They're
- 10:30Speaker 3: putting protein in literally everything. The new chip line that
- 10:33Speaker 3: they have created has ten grams of protein per one
- 10:36Speaker 3: ounce serving and will debut in nacho cheese flavor, and
- 10:40Speaker 3: sweet and tangy barbecue. They want the chips to have
- 10:42Speaker 3: the same things that you love about Doritos, but with
- 10:45Speaker 3: them having dairy based casein protein involved. The product is
- 10:49Speaker 3: going to launch with a seven ounce and twelve point
- 10:52Speaker 3: seventy five ounce bag and then you can expect additional
- 10:55Speaker 3: sizes to come later on. But the line drops next month.
- 10:59Speaker 3: That's when you'll start see protein Dorito's jumping out at you.
- 11:02Speaker 3: Like I said, Kevin, sighing, but everyone is doing this
- 11:06Speaker 3: at this point. They're trying to put protein in literally everything.
- 11:09Speaker 2: I don't think anybody's grabbing a bag of Dorito's for
- 11:11Speaker 2: the nutritional value though. That's where I.
- 11:13Speaker 3: Can okay, And those are the three things you need
- 11:16Speaker 3: to know.
- 11:17Speaker 2: Thank you, Ricky. Right after Taylor, we're gonna learn together.
- 11:20Speaker 2: It's Zach's Facts next.
- 11:22Speaker 1: Time, Ricky, Zach and Minnow in the morning.
- 11:27Speaker 8: First, I want to start with a shout out to
- 11:29Speaker 8: a very special friend.
- 11:30Speaker 2: His name is Bastian.
- 11:31Speaker 8: Today is his tenth birthday and his mom DM does
- 11:34Speaker 8: last night and said that he has been listening to
- 11:36Speaker 8: one of seven five the River every single morning since
- 11:38Speaker 8: he was born.
- 11:39Speaker 2: So happy tenth birthday to Bastion. That's very sweeter birthday.
- 11:44Speaker 2: Now let's learn.
- 11:46Speaker 4: Class is in sessions Sachs.
- 11:48Speaker 8: Fack on, did you guys know that wi fi doesn't
- 11:52Speaker 8: stand for anything? It was just a catchy marketing term,
- 11:56Speaker 8: like it's not an abbreviation for anything.
- 11:57Speaker 2: I thought it was wide fist Kevin. No, now there's
- 12:02Speaker 2: your fact that the day it's just a random term.
- 12:04Speaker 3: Brought to you by markswa in real Estate one seven
- 12:07Speaker 3: five the River, Ricky, Zach and Mennow in the.
- 12:10Speaker 2: Morning, here's our question for you this morning. What's a
- 12:13Speaker 2: parenting rule parents that you swore you'd never break? But haa,
- 12:18Speaker 2: you were such a fool back then. It's one oh
- 12:20Speaker 2: seven to five the River. I've got more than a
- 12:22Speaker 2: few I can think of.
- 12:23Speaker 3: What's the first one that you automatically think of when you.
- 12:26Speaker 2: Hear I mean TV like screen time? It was easier
- 12:29Speaker 2: with our daughter, our first but then by the time
- 12:31Speaker 2: our second came around. Oh my god, no, just no,
- 12:34Speaker 2: thirteen more bluies and then go to bed.
- 12:38Speaker 3: Six on five, seven through seven, nine, one o seven
- 12:41Speaker 3: to add yours. What's a parenting rule that you swore
- 12:43Speaker 3: you'd never break, but then absolutely did?
- 12:46Speaker 4: We all have them, Ricky, Zach and Meno in the
- 12:48Speaker 4: morning on.
- 12:50Speaker 3: Every new parent kind of creates a set of rules
- 12:53Speaker 3: in their mind of what they think is going to
- 12:55Speaker 3: happen when they have kids. It doesn't always work out
- 12:58Speaker 3: that way, though. No, it's one of seven five to
- 13:00Speaker 3: the river. Kevin's the dad in the room, and Kevin
- 13:03Speaker 3: can one hundred percent of test to the fact that
- 13:05Speaker 3: the rules he thought he was gonna have for his
- 13:07Speaker 3: kids just did not work out.
- 13:09Speaker 2: And it happens on a daily basis. I'll tell myself,
- 13:11Speaker 2: this is.
- 13:14Speaker 3: Alex and Hermitage. What's that big rule that you swore
- 13:17Speaker 3: you'd never break as a parent and then absolutely did?
- 13:19Speaker 6: Oh?
- 13:20Speaker 9: Ours just diet? Like with my daughter, our first born,
- 13:23Speaker 9: we were all health food, doing the right things, and
- 13:26Speaker 9: then we had two and now it's like Boloney Sandwich's
- 13:30Speaker 9: hot dogs. And when you guys said that Doritos is
- 13:33Speaker 9: coming out with a protein version. I said, sign me
- 13:36Speaker 9: up because we got another help.
- 13:40Speaker 3: I love that so much, Alex, because that's what I'm
- 13:42Speaker 3: much so my fiance. His sister just had a kid,
- 13:45Speaker 3: and one of the things that she's already talking about
- 13:47Speaker 3: is he's never going to have candy, Like, he's never
- 13:50Speaker 3: gonna have Rees's, He's never going to experience a milky
- 13:52Speaker 3: way or anything like that. And I just like smiled
- 13:55Speaker 3: at her and was like, Okay, whatever you said, just wait.
- 13:59Speaker 9: I give that three weeks. Yeah, they'll have prote in
- 14:04Speaker 9: the pantry too.
- 14:07Speaker 2: Thank you for calling, Alex. We appreciate it. Man By
- 14:12Speaker 2: do you guys think like in your families, like does
- 14:14Speaker 2: the first born eat healthier than the second born? Because
- 14:17Speaker 2: our daughter, classic, our daughter is the older one, she
- 14:19Speaker 2: eats salads and things, but Riley, my son, only eats
- 14:23Speaker 2: bread and cheese and other very I think like.
- 14:26Speaker 8: The first one you have more time as a parent
- 14:28Speaker 8: to like help feed them and make healthy decisions for them.
- 14:31Speaker 8: When you have another one and just too running around
- 14:33Speaker 8: like crazy, it's like, just be quiet and eat something,
- 14:36Speaker 8: eat whatever whatever it is, Just eat something.
- 14:39Speaker 3: The screen time is a big one though. Kevin brought
- 14:41Speaker 3: that up before my brother's going through that with my
- 14:44Speaker 3: nephew where he was like he's never gonna play video games.
- 14:47Speaker 3: That kid has Super Mario Kart and he plays for hours.
- 14:51Speaker 3: He's like a pro at this game. At this point
- 14:54Speaker 3: he's like he really likes it.
- 14:56Speaker 2: I don't know, really good at it. Exactly Mario. It's
- 15:00Speaker 2: a ride of passage. Everybody needs to know Oio card
- 15:02Speaker 2: six one five seven three seven nine, one oh seven.
- 15:05Speaker 2: There's parenting rules.
- 15:06Speaker 4: You broke, Ricky is Zach and Manno in the morning on.
- 15:11Speaker 2: Seven five, Jasmine in Murphy's Borough is on the line.
- 15:15Speaker 2: It's one O seven five the River. We've been talking
- 15:17Speaker 2: about parenting rules that you swore you would never break,
- 15:20Speaker 2: but then the kids came around and everything changed. What
- 15:22Speaker 2: is it for you, Jasmine?
- 15:24Speaker 6: I do agree with you the electronics saying, for sure,
- 15:27Speaker 6: my daughter, she didn't have electronic for al a long time.
- 15:30Speaker 6: Then now my son came and she'll be thirteen on
- 15:33Speaker 6: Saturday and he'll be four on St. Patrick's Day and
- 15:35Speaker 6: it's totally different. Yeah, he loves electronics. And it's the
- 15:39Speaker 6: same way with food as well. Like my daughter, she's
- 15:42Speaker 6: he's healthy, she's like the lobster steak you know, sushy
- 15:45Speaker 6: all the things, and my son here's chicken nuggins and
- 15:48Speaker 6: French fries.
- 15:48Speaker 3: Yes, that's how it goes.
- 15:50Speaker 2: And we always say, like as far as the electronics
- 15:53Speaker 2: and stuff go, that the youngest is only as young
- 15:55Speaker 2: as the oldest is. So like when they're seeing yeah,
- 15:58Speaker 2: I know, Zach, that was kind of a I hurt.
- 16:01Speaker 2: It's just completely changed. But when there's the older sibling
- 16:04Speaker 2: running around, the younger one is going to emulate them, so,
- 16:07Speaker 2: you know, more screen time and all the stuff. Very true.
- 16:10Speaker 6: Yes, yes, it's crazy how much he's like, oh, can
- 16:13Speaker 6: I just play my game?
- 16:14Speaker 5: And I just want to play my game.
- 16:15Speaker 6: I just want to play my game. And my daughter's
- 16:17Speaker 6: just like, mom, you didn't let me do that when
- 16:19Speaker 6: I was a kid.
- 16:20Speaker 3: Oh yeah, you're gonna hear that forever.
- 16:23Speaker 6: Oh forever.
- 16:25Speaker 3: Happy early birthdays to both of them.
- 16:27Speaker 6: Though, thank you, thank you, and hat anniversary to you, Oh.
- 16:31Speaker 1: Thank you.
- 16:31Speaker 2: I appreciate you. Today's our wedding anniversary. Thanks Jazz, Thank you.
- 16:35Speaker 6: Guys.
- 16:38Speaker 2: Ricky makes some sort of declarative statement right now that
- 16:40Speaker 2: we can hold over your head. If you eventually have kids,
- 16:43Speaker 2: what are you never going to let your kids do.
- 16:45Speaker 3: It's so hard for me to say that because like
- 16:47Speaker 3: I had a very lenient mom, and I don't know
- 16:50Speaker 3: that I have any like actual rules. I'm like, oh,
- 16:53Speaker 3: my kids will never A does.
- 16:55Speaker 2: I was going to say, your fiance definitely does.
- 16:57Speaker 3: AJ is going to be foreshore, the uh, the person
- 17:02Speaker 3: who makes the rules in the house, and then I'm
- 17:04Speaker 3: going to be the mom that's like, it's fine, just
- 17:07Speaker 3: don't tell your dad. That's how that's gonna go. A.
- 17:09Speaker 2: J's gonna have your baby doing yoga six weeks old.
- 17:12Speaker 3: Yes, exactly, not.
- 17:14Speaker 2: A bad idea. Actually, we've got John Mullaney Tickets next
- 17:17Speaker 2: with the Game of the Day.
- 17:19Speaker 4: Ricky is Zach and Manno in the morning on.
- 17:24Speaker 3: It's one O seven five the River. I did google it.
- 17:27Speaker 3: John mulaney has actually voiced sol a lot of characters.
- 17:30Speaker 3: I didn't realize a six to seven in major animated productions.
- 17:35Speaker 3: My god, let's get into the Game of the Day
- 17:37Speaker 3: presented by Genesis Diamonds. We're playing Name that Tune cartoons
- 17:42Speaker 3: though not music tunes for John Mullaney tickets at the
- 17:45Speaker 3: Ryman for June thirteen.
- 17:46Speaker 2: Correct, Pam in East Nashville is on the line. Good morning, Pam,
- 17:50Speaker 2: Good morning guy. I know I'm not supposed to, like,
- 17:53Speaker 2: you know, ask people their age, but approximately how old
- 17:56Speaker 2: are you? Because you see you have a young voice,
- 17:58Speaker 2: and some of these cartoon characters I'm gonna ask you
- 18:00Speaker 2: about today might be before your time.
- 18:01Speaker 1: I don't know.
- 18:02Speaker 6: I don't know. I'm not going to get my age,
- 18:04Speaker 6: but I will say that I know a lot of cars.
- 18:07Speaker 2: In the day. Okay, all right, you know a lot
- 18:09Speaker 2: of cartoon characters from back in the day. Let's let's
- 18:11Speaker 2: hope you do. You get two out of three of these, right,
- 18:13Speaker 2: you're going to see John Mulaney. Okay, Okay, here we go, Pam.
- 18:16Speaker 2: Your game starts right now. He is a Manx cat
- 18:22Speaker 2: and he is friends with a psychotic chihuahua. Name that tune.
- 18:26Speaker 6: Oh it's running Simpy.
- 18:29Speaker 2: Yeah we'll take that.
- 18:30Speaker 4: Wow.
- 18:30Speaker 2: Okay, I know it's hard to differentiate who's too, but
- 18:34Speaker 2: Stimpy is the cat. So yeah, you got that right, Stimpy.
- 18:36Speaker 2: They're duo exactly.
- 18:38Speaker 3: That's a point on the board for Pam.
- 18:40Speaker 2: All right, here we go. See I wouldn't know this
- 18:42Speaker 2: next one, Ricky, help me with this one. When she's
- 18:44Speaker 2: not attending high school, she's fighting Crime. Also, she has
- 18:48Speaker 2: twin brothers named Tim and Jim. Is it You're done
- 19:00Speaker 2: the dark? I was not sure about that one.
- 19:02Speaker 3: You did great. I am impressed. Kevin is impressed, Zach
- 19:05Speaker 3: is impressed. All of us are blown away by your
- 19:08Speaker 3: cartoon knowledge. You're getting tickets to see John Mulaney. Thank
- 19:11Speaker 3: you guys so much.
- 19:12Speaker 2: You're welcome. Man, you knew Ren and Stimpy and Kim Possible.
- 19:14Speaker 2: Those are kind of deep cuts.
- 19:16Speaker 3: She did say she knew her cartoons, and she was right.
- 19:19Speaker 2: She wasn't lying, Pam, thank you so much for listening,
- 19:21Speaker 2: Thanks for starting your day with us, and congratulations.
- 19:24Speaker 3: Thank you so much.
- 19:25Speaker 2: I'm not gonna lie.
- 19:26Speaker 8: I used to love Kim Possible, and I had no
- 19:28Speaker 8: idea about the brothers.
- 19:29Speaker 3: Call me, beat me if you want to reach me.
- 19:31Speaker 2: Yeah, I didn't know about the brothers though.
- 19:33Speaker 1: Three things you need to know.
- 19:35Speaker 2: All right, let's go just after eight o'clock on this
- 19:38Speaker 2: Tuesday morning. We're gonna make it a great day. Ricky's
- 19:40Speaker 2: got those three things.
- 19:42Speaker 3: HBO Max and Paramount Plus will be combined into a
- 19:45Speaker 3: single service. Last week, Netflix backed out of the bidding war,
- 19:49Speaker 3: which left Paramount free to make the deal with their
- 19:53Speaker 3: their proposal. The merger still needs to be finalized though,
- 19:56Speaker 3: so this isn't one hundred percent just yet. It seems
- 19:58Speaker 3: like that's the way it's going, though, and the setup
- 20:00Speaker 3: of the streamer is still unclear, but they did note
- 20:03Speaker 3: that if this is finalized that HBO is going to
- 20:06Speaker 3: operate with independence. I'll keep you updated on what this
- 20:09Speaker 3: means for you as the consumer, because the assumption here
- 20:12Speaker 3: is that prices will go up for your subscription once
- 20:16Speaker 3: it is bundle. Yes, as if we need anything more
- 20:20Speaker 3: to go up, but that's kind of where this is going.
- 20:22Speaker 3: I'll keep you updated. Radner Lake State Natural Area has reopened.
- 20:27Speaker 3: They officially reopened yesterday. That's nearly sixty days ahead of schedule,
- 20:31Speaker 3: so thank you so much to all the park rangers
- 20:33Speaker 3: and the volunteers who helped clean up the mess after
- 20:35Speaker 3: the winter storm. That's the only reason why it's able
- 20:38Speaker 3: to open so early. The trails are cleared safe to use,
- 20:42Speaker 3: which is perfect timing too, because we're going to start
- 20:44Speaker 3: getting more and more daylight after this weekend, so it's
- 20:47Speaker 3: the perfect time to go out and explore. Great timing
- 20:50Speaker 3: for the warmer weather that's coming around too, So all
- 20:53Speaker 3: good stuff go check out Radner Lake again safely and happily.
- 20:58Speaker 3: En Crayola has brought back a fan favorite crayon thanks
- 21:02Speaker 3: to an extremely dedicated TikToker. She's known as Dandelion Crayon
- 21:08Speaker 3: Girl because she loves it so much. This specific warm
- 21:12Speaker 3: yellow shade was discontinued in twenty seventeen, but Likenzi is
- 21:16Speaker 3: her actual name. She made it her whole personality. Okay,
- 21:19Speaker 3: She collected seven hundred and twenty seven Dandelion crayons and
- 21:23Speaker 3: started rallying nostalgia online from other people, and it all
- 21:27Speaker 3: paid off because Crayola noticed how obsessed she was with
- 21:31Speaker 3: it that they brought it back for a limited run
- 21:33Speaker 3: last year, and now they are officially returning the color
- 21:36Speaker 3: to their classic sixty four count box permanently at this
- 21:40Speaker 3: Pointlekenzi celebrated this with an emotional video that has over
- 21:43Speaker 3: a million views, insisting that her collection isn't stopping anytime
- 21:48Speaker 3: soon and obviously everybody is so proud and excited for her.
- 21:52Speaker 3: A lot of people commenting were like, this just proves
- 21:54Speaker 3: that one person can make a difference if they just
- 21:57Speaker 3: really hold on long enough. Seven hundred and twenty seven
- 22:00Speaker 3: Dandelion crowns is wild, but we love this for her.
- 22:04Speaker 3: I'm and those are the three things you need to know.
- 22:07Speaker 2: Thank you for that, Ricky. Did you when you were
- 22:08Speaker 2: a little kid and you pick a dandelione, did you
- 22:10Speaker 2: have like a little saying or something before you'd like
- 22:12Speaker 2: flick the top off.
- 22:13Speaker 3: No, but what we used to do is apparently something
- 22:15Speaker 3: that nobody else does. You like put it underneath like
- 22:18Speaker 3: or no. Buttercups, I guess are the actual ones that
- 22:20Speaker 3: you put underneath your chin, and if it glowed, it
- 22:22Speaker 3: told you if you liked butter or not.
- 22:25Speaker 2: That is the most insane thing I've ever.
- 22:27Speaker 3: Heard in my life. I'm sorry you were just talking
- 22:29Speaker 3: about popping the heads off dandelions.
- 22:32Speaker 2: I thought it was a universal thing. We'd go, mom,
- 22:34Speaker 2: I had a baby and its head popped off, and
- 22:36Speaker 2: then flick the head off. People say that, oh okay, good,
- 22:38Speaker 2: So that.
- 22:38Speaker 3: Was soundary, way more insane, and its head.
- 22:43Speaker 2: Pop a lot than butter.
- 22:45Speaker 1: This is crazy, Ricky, Zach and Mannow in the morning.
- 22:50Speaker 2: Seven five the River. We talked about this yesterday. Ricky
- 22:53Speaker 2: brought it up in three things, Liquid Death and Spotify
- 22:55Speaker 2: I have teamed up to make this urn. It's a
- 22:58Speaker 2: real urn for ashes, and it has a speaker. You
- 23:01Speaker 2: get to build a playlist, your eternal playlist, music that
- 23:04Speaker 2: you would want to listen to forever in the afterlife.
- 23:07Speaker 2: And it really got us talking, Ricky and I think
- 23:10Speaker 2: this is a great idea.
- 23:11Speaker 3: I want one myself. I know that sounds like morbid
- 23:14Speaker 3: and weird probably to a lot of people who are
- 23:16Speaker 3: listening to this, but it goes to five hundred dollars,
- 23:18Speaker 3: And part of me is like, do I plan ahead
- 23:21Speaker 3: and get one of these for whenever this happens, because
- 23:25Speaker 3: I love the idea of listening to music forever. Yeah,
- 23:28Speaker 3: what it would have to be so specific?
- 23:29Speaker 2: What would you want to listen to? What songs would
- 23:32Speaker 2: you put on your eternal playlist? Six one, five, seven, three, seven, nine,
- 23:35Speaker 2: one oh seven. Like I can think of a handful
- 23:37Speaker 2: of songs, like some of my favorites that I would
- 23:39Speaker 2: want on there. But here's my example.
- 23:41Speaker 1: This.
- 23:41Speaker 2: My playlist would mostly be stuff like this, like meditation
- 23:44Speaker 2: music that you'd get at a spa. This would be
- 23:46Speaker 2: on my.
- 23:51Speaker 3: Okay, I mean it's pleasant, like.
- 23:53Speaker 2: I'm nice, boring, it's a little boring, but this is
- 23:56Speaker 2: the afterlife we're talking about here.
- 23:57Speaker 3: Ricky is the afterlife supposed to be boring.
- 24:00Speaker 2: It's supposed to be relaxing. I mean, as are going
- 24:02Speaker 2: to be listening for the rest of your eternity.
- 24:05Speaker 1: I don't know.
- 24:06Speaker 3: Six one, five, seven, three, seven, nine one o seven.
- 24:08Speaker 3: Tell us what song has to be on your eternal playlist?
- 24:12Speaker 1: One? Ricky, Zach and mannow in the morning.
- 24:16Speaker 3: What would you have on your eternal playlist? What song
- 24:20Speaker 3: has to be on there? It's one of seven five
- 24:22Speaker 3: the River. The reason we're asking this is because Liquid
- 24:25Speaker 3: Death and Spotify have an urn that they've created that
- 24:27Speaker 3: has a built in Bluetooth speaker so that your ashes
- 24:30Speaker 3: can listen to music for all of eternity. Alyssa and Goodletsville,
- 24:34Speaker 3: what song is on your eternal playlist?
- 24:36Speaker 5: If you had one, I would Rick roll every single person.
- 24:41Speaker 9: That's probably the only song.
- 24:42Speaker 8: That I would put on there is just rickrolling.
- 24:45Speaker 2: Everyone listen here yourself though, Alissa, Yeah, the speaker is playing,
- 24:50Speaker 2: okay in word toward the Ashes, you want to listen to?
- 24:54Speaker 2: Rick Astley never going to give you up for the
- 24:56Speaker 2: rest of eternity.
- 24:58Speaker 8: Absolutely, the amount of respect that I have for you
- 25:01Speaker 8: because it's like a complete troll moment like you want
- 25:04Speaker 8: everyone to be rick World forever.
- 25:06Speaker 6: Yes, they'd expect like something that I would love, like
- 25:10Speaker 6: such a good song, like wow, this really meant a
- 25:13Speaker 6: lot to her.
- 25:14Speaker 5: And it's just them.
- 25:17Speaker 2: To give this in my mind that I'm.
- 25:20Speaker 6: Already gone, so they've already given me out.
- 25:22Speaker 2: Listen, you're the only one that's funny, already giving me out.
- 25:26Speaker 2: The music is playing just for you. Nobody else is
- 25:28Speaker 2: hearing it. It's just inside the urn.
- 25:30Speaker 3: That's okay. I do think if you turn it up
- 25:33Speaker 3: loud enough, everyone is going to hear it just a
- 25:36Speaker 3: little bit. Yeah, just muffled up rick Astley in like
- 25:40Speaker 3: the background just consistently. Oh man, that would be stuck
- 25:44Speaker 3: in a lot of people's head if they heard it.
- 25:48Speaker 2: Listen, since you're here, let's let's see what Rickys would
- 25:50Speaker 2: have been. I don't know what this is, but I'm
- 25:51Speaker 2: gonna play it right here. This would be.
- 25:52Speaker 3: Ricky's my favorite song ever. Have to have it all there,
- 25:55Speaker 3: here we go.
- 25:58Speaker 2: I want to to get into any good Tracy Chapman.
- 26:03Speaker 3: Yeah, Tracy Chapman, a classic fastball. It's my favorite song.
- 26:08Speaker 3: I will listen to it for all of eternity. It's
- 26:10Speaker 3: also very like it's a sad song, but it's peaceful
- 26:13Speaker 3: at the same time.
- 26:14Speaker 2: It's like very soothing.
- 26:15Speaker 3: Yes, and it's for me, so you know, brings back
- 26:19Speaker 3: those memories.
- 26:19Speaker 2: All right, We've got one more hero lista. This is
- 26:21Speaker 2: Zach song.
- 26:26Speaker 8: Of course I have to throw a party for the
- 26:28Speaker 8: rest of eternity without a doubt with Miley Cyrus.
- 26:31Speaker 2: Yes, yes, ma'am. I could see zax Earn just rocking
- 26:38Speaker 2: back and forth the.
- 26:40Speaker 3: You never know if it might turn over, no idea.
- 26:43Speaker 8: This is my favorite song ever by Miley Cyrus. So
- 26:45Speaker 8: we had to and now Alyssa is earned. Yes, just
- 26:50Speaker 8: over and over again, forever, still a bomb.
- 26:54Speaker 2: Okay, thank you for calling Alyssa. We appreciate it.
- 26:57Speaker 3: Thank you.
- 26:58Speaker 6: I hope you'll have a good weekend.
- 26:59Speaker 2: And to love six one, five, seven, three seven nine
- 27:03Speaker 2: one o seven. What would you put on your eternal playlist?
- 27:08Speaker 3: This voice Man iconic, the voice in the face though
- 27:12Speaker 3: never met.
- 27:14Speaker 2: Would you only get mad if we just played the
- 27:15Speaker 2: whole song? Oh yeah, okay, so turned it off.
- 27:18Speaker 1: Okay, Ricky, Zach and Meadow in the morning.
- 27:23Speaker 3: If you grew up or even just know about the
- 27:26Speaker 3: Lion King, the daily double tap on one O. Seven five.
- 27:28Speaker 3: The river is about to blow your mind. Okay, this
- 27:32Speaker 3: is just a let's say, the best way to describe
- 27:35Speaker 3: it is the direct translation of a very specific part
- 27:40Speaker 3: of Lion King.
- 27:41Speaker 2: I'm actually very intrigued.
- 27:43Speaker 3: That's gonna blow your mind. And then there's a little
- 27:44Speaker 3: caveat that we want to share at the end as well.
- 27:46Speaker 2: Though, Okay, here we go. This movie is over thirty
- 27:49Speaker 2: years old and I never knew this. Today's Daly double
- 27:51Speaker 2: ting like.
- 27:57Speaker 1: You were way off, all right, what does it name?
- 28:02Speaker 3: It means?
- 28:03Speaker 1: Look there's a lion.
- 28:06Speaker 4: Oh my god, what that means?
- 28:13Speaker 1: That is not what that means. That's exactly what it means.
- 28:16Speaker 1: Look there's a lion.
- 28:18Speaker 2: Oh my god, there's a lion.
- 28:22Speaker 3: Oh my god.
- 28:24Speaker 2: I love a contagious laugh like that.
- 28:26Speaker 3: Oh yeah, once these starts laughing, you have to start laughing.
- 28:30Speaker 3: But this is something that's going around. It's become viral
- 28:32Speaker 3: because obviously so many people have grown up watching The
- 28:35Speaker 3: Lion King and feel very attached to that movie. So
- 28:38Speaker 3: just want to do a caveat here though. That is
- 28:40Speaker 3: what the closest English translation to that is. Okay, it's
- 28:45Speaker 3: not always perfect. I did also read that it is
- 28:49Speaker 3: a chant that has a lot of underlying meaning to it,
- 28:52Speaker 3: so there's things that you don't get from the direct translation.
- 28:56Speaker 3: It sounds hilarious to hear it that way, and the
- 28:59Speaker 3: man is not wrong that is exactly what it says,
- 29:01Speaker 3: because there are a lot of people commenting saying, Nope,
- 29:03Speaker 3: that's exactly.
- 29:04Speaker 6: What it means.
- 29:04Speaker 2: It's actually so crazy.
- 29:05Speaker 3: But there's a lot of other meaning behind it as well,
- 29:08Speaker 3: for the chance.
- 29:09Speaker 2: So the rough the loose translation is look a lion,
- 29:12Speaker 2: Oh my God, Oh my God, and then
- 29:13Speaker 4: A lion Ricky Zach and Manno in the morning on
- 29:19Speaker 4: the river
