Transcript
- 0:17Welcome back to Faith and Farlow.
- 0:19And I'm Doctor J Nicole. Today we're talking about
- 0:22restoration. After the humbling, our love can
- 0:26feel like a a stripping away of income, a stripping away of
- 0:29stability, A stripping away of control.
- 0:32But here's the promise that we must hold on to what a God, what
- 0:36God allows to pause, He also has the power to restore.
- 0:40And when he restores is often greater than what we lost.
- 0:46OK, so our anchoring Scripture today.
- 0:49At the end of that time, I, Nebuchadnezzar, raised my eyes
- 0:53toward heaven, and my sanity was restored.
- 0:56Then I praised the Most High, and at the same time that my
- 1:00sanity was restored, my honor and splendor will return to me,
- 1:06and I was restored to the throne and became even greater than
- 1:10before. Wow.
- 1:13Restoration came after. Nebuchadnezzar looked up.
- 1:18Now let's break this down a little bit, right?
- 1:20So King Nebuchadnezzar, he lost everything because of pride.
- 1:25He lived like an animal, completely humbled.
- 1:29But the moment, the moment he looked up and acknowledged God,
- 1:33the process of restoration began.
- 1:35Now think about your own life in this furlough.
- 1:39It may not be pride that caused it, but you might still feel
- 1:43humbled, cut down, reduced, or even limited.
- 1:47But the good news is that God specializes in restoring what
- 1:51looks lost. Here's the key.
- 1:54Restoration isn't just about getting back what you lost.
- 1:58It's a it's about becoming. It's about coming back stronger,
- 2:04wiser, and more aligned with God's with.
- 2:07If you've been feeling broken during this furlong, let me
- 2:11encourage you. Humility isn't the end, but a
- 2:15door lane. When we lift our eyes upward,
- 2:18God begins to restore things outward.
- 2:21Maybe you lost income. Maybe you lost peace.
- 2:24Maybe you lost confidence. Restoration is coming and God
- 2:30restores. And when He restores, He
- 2:34restores fully. Just like Nebuchadnezzar, you
- 2:37can come out of this greater with greater clarity, greater
- 2:42stability, and greater faith than before.
- 2:45Here's what I want you to do this week.
- 2:47Write down 3 areas of your life that feel stripped away right
- 2:52now. Right now, Next to each of them,
- 2:55I want you to write a prayer of restoration.
- 2:59For example, if you lost income, right Lord, restore financial
- 3:04provisions in ways I cannot expect in Jesus name, Amen, OK.
- 3:10If you lost peace, Lord, restore my peace and renew my mind dated
- 3:16in Jesus name, Amen, right? Because we know we cannot come
- 3:20to God but through Jesus. This simple practice shifts your
- 3:24focus from what's gone to what God is preparing to return.
- 3:29Restoration begins when we look up.
- 3:32Nebuchadnezzar's story proves that no seasonal loss is final
- 3:37when God is invoked. Let's pray, Lord, for everyone
- 3:41impacted by this furlough. I speak restoration.
- 3:45Restore finances, restore peace, Father.
- 3:48God restore dignity and restore joy.
- 3:51Father, let them come out of this season greater than before,
- 3:55not just in what they have, but in who they've become through
- 4:01you in the mighty name of Jesus, Amen.
- 4:04If this episode blessed you, share with someone who needs
- 4:08encouragement right now. Make sure you like you.
- 4:11Subscribe, you share, help this platform grow.
- 4:14And I'll be back with episode 6 and we'll talk about building
- 4:19while you wait. And remember, restoration is
- 4:24coming. This pause is only temporary,
- 4:27and God's promise is eternal. Love you, see you next time.
