Transcript
- 0:08Speaker 1: Scandal and.
- 0:13Speaker 2: Vice, or sugar and spice, it's Naughty But Nice. Oh,
- 0:33Speaker 2: is she staying with you?
- 0:34Speaker 1: Yes, we're going to go hunting the whales. Not hunting
- 0:36Speaker 1: as in like hunting, hunting. But we're looking for the
- 0:39Speaker 1: orca whales because they travel in the wintertime. And because
- 0:44Speaker 1: the El Ninos.
- 0:46Speaker 2: You know, I know about the weather term.
- 0:48Speaker 1: The El Ninos are very strong this year.
- 0:51Speaker 2: How do you know this?
- 0:52Speaker 1: Google told me. And then so the water is ultra warm. Oh,
- 0:58Speaker 1: so that brings them out.
- 0:59Speaker 2: And so they're really having that. Like a bathtub. Yes.
- 1:01Speaker 2: They're having a bath. Well, I hope you and your
- 1:04Speaker 2: mummy sees a lot of free willy this weekend. Let's
- 1:08Speaker 2: jump into the show. What time is it, my friends?
- 1:11Speaker 2: It is tea time. Big story at the top of
- 1:13Speaker 2: the show. Finally, not a Meghan Markle story. How about that?
- 1:16Speaker 2: We have a story about a different celebrity. It's Taylor Swift.
- 1:19Speaker 2: It's Taylor Swift. Her $ 7 million wedding decor. That's how
- 1:23Speaker 2: much she paid for all that. Production has allegedly been
- 1:27Speaker 2: burnt to ashes to stop her fans from taking souvenirs. Taylor.
- 1:32Speaker 2: So Taylor went to extraordinary lengths to ensure that nobody
- 1:35Speaker 2: walked away with a souvenir from her lavish Madison Square
- 1:38Speaker 2: Garden wedding to Travis Kelsey. According to the Daily Mail,
- 1:42Speaker 2: the couple's custom-built decorations were transported to Pennsylvania and then
- 1:48Speaker 2: they were burned following the July ceremony with reported workers
- 1:53Speaker 2: reportedly instructed... to leave no trace. I think this is
- 1:58Speaker 2: a little much. 11 semi-trucks brought the set in, brought
- 2:02Speaker 2: it out. Taylor, what is really going on here? What
- 2:06Speaker 2: do you think, Donald?
- 2:06Speaker 1: All right, now, first of all, trust me, I'm pure Swifty.
- 2:10Speaker 1: I love Taylor, and I get it. She has to
- 2:12Speaker 1: protect herself at all costs because people out there... It
- 2:17Speaker 1: just comes across as a little wasteful.
- 2:21Speaker 2: It's wasteful.
- 2:22Speaker 1: I think that is what, at the end of the day,
- 2:23Speaker 1: and plus, If there's anybody's home she should check, it's
- 2:28Speaker 1: those workers. Because, baby, if you told me this is
- 2:32Speaker 1: $ 7 million worth of Taylor's wedding, honey, I would get
- 2:36Speaker 1: fired that day and be okay with it.
- 2:40Speaker 2: That's so interesting because now we're finding pictures are leaking.
- 2:42Speaker 2: The Daily Mail has the first ever leaked video and pictures.
- 2:46Speaker 2: It looks so tacky. That's why she wanted it burnt.
- 2:49Speaker 2: I think it's just, I think Taylor has figured out
- 2:52Speaker 2: that this was a misstep. It's so tone deaf that
- 2:56Speaker 2: while we are all struggling paying our bills, inflation is
- 3:00Speaker 2: through the roof. To throw yourself this $ 30 million wedding.
- 3:05Speaker 2: That's why we've seen no pictures. My sources are telling
- 3:08Speaker 2: me the reason we've seen no official pictures. Move on,
- 3:10Speaker 2: move on, move on. I think she's figured out this
- 3:14Speaker 2: probably wasn't a great idea. And if official pictures do
- 3:18Speaker 2: get released, I think people will be screaming Marie Antoinette.
- 3:22Speaker 2: Like it's just too much at a time when people
- 3:27Speaker 2: are struggling financially. It feels so Kardashian. It doesn't feel
- 3:32Speaker 2: like Taylor Swift. Now, you've followed her for a long time, Donna.
- 3:35Speaker 2: You love Taylor Swift. Is there a side of Taylor
- 3:38Speaker 2: that we don't know? Is there a tacky side? Is
- 3:41Speaker 2: there an over-the-top side? Is there a needy, thirsty Kardashian side? Well, look, I.
- 3:46Speaker 1: Think it's hard not to be that level of famous.
- 3:51Speaker 1: But when you're that famous and everybody says, yes, ma'am, yes, ma'am, yes, ma'am,
- 3:56Speaker 1: it's hard not to get you get high on yes
- 3:59Speaker 1: ma'am yeah you.
- 4:01Speaker 2: Do you do plus i think too she's she's spoken
- 4:04Speaker 2: about this she has songs about it she wasn't the
- 4:06Speaker 2: popular girl at school she wasn't the cheerleader she wanted
- 4:09Speaker 2: that princess moment and she really got it but the
- 4:12Speaker 2: fact that we haven't seen any pictures it's telling it's
- 4:16Speaker 2: easy to say oh she wants her privacy no taylor
- 4:19Speaker 2: swift is not that private she lets us know intimate
- 4:23Speaker 2: details about her life when she wants us to know
- 4:25Speaker 2: them and she does that when she's selling us new
- 4:27Speaker 2: music so maybe if she has a romance album a
- 4:31Speaker 2: wedding album coming out maybe we'll see pictures then but
- 4:33Speaker 2: it's really curious to me that the only pictures the
- 4:37Speaker 2: only images from this wedding have been leaked probably by
- 4:40Speaker 2: those workers to the daily mail which brings us to
- 4:42Speaker 2: our poll question Of the day, Taylor wants her set,
- 4:45Speaker 2: or didn't want, it happened. She got her set burnt.
- 4:48Speaker 2: A $ 7 million wedding decor set. It was glorious, a
- 4:52Speaker 2: little tacky, I thought, but nevertheless, it's been burnt to ashes.
- 4:56Speaker 2: They're claiming it's to stop fans from selling souvenirs. Is
- 5:00Speaker 2: this smart, or is this just silly? Like, really? If
- 5:04Speaker 2: I get a piece of fabric from Taylor's wedding set,
- 5:08Speaker 2: not her dress, her set, does the world end? Is
- 5:11Speaker 2: that really national security? What are we talking about here?
- 5:15Speaker 2: At the end of the show, today's moment of Rob
- 5:17Speaker 2: sort of really deals with this. But go vote on
- 5:20Speaker 2: our X page, our Twitter page, at Naughty Nice Rob,
- 5:23Speaker 2: our Facebook page is Naughty Gossip. And be sure to
- 5:26Speaker 2: check back tomorrow to hear your results. Hey, Donny Love,
- 5:30Speaker 2: what are you working on?
- 5:32Speaker 1: Oh, sad story. So the Netflix new documentary, the one
- 5:36Speaker 1: about Matthew Perry, you know, they're coming out. So remember
- 5:40Speaker 1: when Friends reunited? and they had that big HBO Max,
- 5:46Speaker 1: it was that reunion, Friends reunion, they were all there.
- 5:50Speaker 1: They were saying that Matthew was really showing signs of
- 5:53Speaker 1: struggling then, but he was doing his best to appear normal.
- 5:59Speaker 1: Appear as if he wasn't struggling. Look, I can't imagine.
- 6:04Speaker 1: You're sitting there, you're next to Courtney Cox, Jennifer Aniston,
- 6:10Speaker 1: David Schwimmer, Lisa Kudrow, all of these people who are
- 6:16Speaker 1: really at the top of their game. And you're struggling
- 6:20Speaker 1: with something. The pressure that he must have felt to
- 6:24Speaker 1: go up there and not stand out like a sore thumb.
- 6:30Speaker 1: I could only imagine. The problem is that kind of
- 6:33Speaker 1: pressure then eludes you to end up doing more drugs.
- 6:39Speaker 1: And more alcohol because you're ashamed of it. It's just
- 6:43Speaker 1: such a sad story.
- 6:45Speaker 2: It is, isn't it? I found in my life when
- 6:47Speaker 2: I'm pretending to be somebody I'm not, when I'm pretending
- 6:49Speaker 2: to be happy when I'm really quite sad, that's when
- 6:52Speaker 2: really damage starts. And so, Matthew, this is just heartbreaking.
- 6:56Speaker 2: I've got exclusive reporting. But Jen actually tried to stop
- 7:00Speaker 2: this reunion. She knew. She was the closest to Matthew.
- 7:03Speaker 2: She knew that he was struggling and was not the
- 7:07Speaker 2: best thing for him to do, to go out there
- 7:10Speaker 2: and pretend everything's fine and to entertain us and to
- 7:13Speaker 2: be Chandler and to make everybody laugh. It's so much pressure. Donny,
- 7:18Speaker 2: you can put on a show, though, too. You've been
- 7:21Speaker 2: doing podcasting, radio shows for a really long time, much
- 7:24Speaker 2: longer than I have. That's how I met you, through
- 7:27Speaker 2: the radio business. Some days are bad days and you
- 7:29Speaker 2: still have to put on that happy face and do
- 7:31Speaker 2: the show. It's a lot, but that's sort of show business, no?
- 7:36Speaker 1: It is show business, but it doesn't mean at the end,
- 7:38Speaker 1: once that show is over, what are you going to
- 7:40Speaker 1: do afterwards? I think you're like, oh my gosh. And
- 7:44Speaker 1: then it's almost, there's like a euphoria or a high
- 7:47Speaker 1: in itself of, I just faked it for 20 minutes.
- 7:51Speaker 1: So therefore, oh, I deserve this. It's a very sick battle.
- 7:57Speaker 2: It is a sick battle, and that's why substance abuse
- 7:59Speaker 2: and problems are so prevalent in show business. OK, moving along,
- 8:04Speaker 2: Chad Lowe has held a private ceremony for a celebration
- 8:08Speaker 2: of life for his daughter, Fiona, who died when she
- 8:11Speaker 2: was just 13 years old. So Chad and his wife, Kim,
- 8:14Speaker 2: gathered their family and their close friends to remember their daughter, Fiona.
- 8:19Speaker 2: The private celebration, it took place actually over the weekend,
- 8:22Speaker 2: so we're just finding out about it. The family previously
- 8:25Speaker 2: described themselves, of course, as heartbroken. She was the light
- 8:29Speaker 2: of our lives and they are asking for privacy. Her
- 8:32Speaker 2: older sister, Mabel, shared a very emotional tribute saying she
- 8:36Speaker 2: would honour Fiona for the rest of her life. It
- 8:40Speaker 2: brings a lump to my throat that this is a reality.
- 8:44Speaker 2: This isn't a story that we're doing on a silly podcast.
- 8:48Speaker 2: This is a 13-year-old who's straddled So much that she
- 8:51Speaker 2: took her own life. I just can't imagine, darling. I
- 8:55Speaker 2: can't imagine. Have you heard of these before? Celebration of life.
- 9:00Speaker 2: I think that's a beautiful way to have a memorial.
- 9:04Speaker 2: What do you think?
- 9:05Speaker 1: It is. Now, look, this is where I think it's interesting.
- 9:08Speaker 1: I think celebration of life, though, it really does come
- 9:12Speaker 1: down to a lot of times it's a lot about
- 9:14Speaker 1: your culture and how you were raised. And I will
- 9:19Speaker 1: go on and I will say more, you know, ethnic
- 9:21Speaker 1: cultures are a little different when it comes to dying.
- 9:24Speaker 1: They go and they have a party because they're like,
- 9:27Speaker 1: my friends who, they're Persian, their dad died recently. And
- 9:31Speaker 1: they were like, wow, he would want to party. So
- 9:37Speaker 1: we should have a party, which is just different than
- 9:40Speaker 1: if my family died at the funerals.
- 9:42Speaker 2: It's a sad moment. I'm going to throw you a pot.
- 9:44Speaker 2: What would you like when you pass away, Donny? Because
- 9:46Speaker 2: obviously I will live longer than you. Would you like
- 9:50Speaker 2: a party? Do you want us crying? What do you want, Donny?
- 9:54Speaker 1: You're doing belly shots of fireball off of me inside
- 9:57Speaker 1: the coffin. It's an open casket. And you're grab it's
- 10:01Speaker 1: like a luge just the fireball falls down and then
- 10:04Speaker 1: you just belly shot it out of.
- 10:05Speaker 2: Me you're terrible you're terrible okay moving along Meghan Markle
- 10:10Speaker 2: has a new project what is she up to now.
- 10:13Speaker 1: What is Meghan Markle going on since Meghan Markle is
- 10:15Speaker 1: a chef now oh gosh yes that's right.
- 10:19Speaker 2: Oh god.
- 10:23Speaker 1: She's fleeing the UK. She went to Australia because she's
- 10:26Speaker 1: going to be a special guest on Junior MasterChef Australia.
- 10:32Speaker 1: And this tracks because she's teaching the kids to make
- 10:35Speaker 1: a grilled cheese.
- 10:37Speaker 2: She's teaching the kids how to chop an onion.
- 10:41Speaker 1: Good job, Megan.
- 10:42Speaker 2: You nailed it this time. I'm glad that Megan has
- 10:44Speaker 2: this gig. She must be disappointed.
- 10:48Speaker 1: It kills me.
- 10:49Speaker 2: If somebody had told Megan five years ago when she
- 10:52Speaker 2: was a deal or ten years ago when she was
- 10:54Speaker 2: a deal or no deal, that was a better job
- 10:56Speaker 2: than this. This is Top Chef Australia, basically. It's called
- 11:00Speaker 2: something different. And she's going to be a guest judge.
- 11:04Speaker 2: Do you know how many guest judges were on Top
- 11:06Speaker 2: Chef America? Hundreds. I don't remember any of them. Any
- 11:10Speaker 2: of them. We could be guests. I could be a
- 11:12Speaker 2: guest judge on Top Chef. I don't. Get this. What
- 11:17Speaker 2: has happened? Well, we know what has happened. That she
- 11:19Speaker 2: has squandered this really launch into celebrity that nobody can imagine.
- 11:26Speaker 2: A billion people watched her wedding. And now what, eight
- 11:29Speaker 2: years fast forward and she's flying to Australia to do MasterChef.
- 11:33Speaker 2: Was MasterChef UK too busy? Did they not have a slot?
- 11:37Speaker 2: She's going, I mean, I'm not putting down Australia here,
- 11:41Speaker 2: but it's hardly the first stop on the tour for
- 11:43Speaker 2: Taylor Swift. Like you do America, you do Europe. It's
- 11:47Speaker 2: a great constant. I've never been, but our friend Dylan
- 11:50Speaker 2: is from there. Our friend Nicky's from there. They love it.
- 11:52Speaker 2: But even they would say it's not the first stop
- 11:55Speaker 2: for Madonna.
- 11:56Speaker 1: Junior MasterChef, it just started here. It's Gordon Ramsay.
- 12:00Speaker 2: I love it. I love it. I love it.
- 12:03Speaker 1: Gordon Ramsay.
- 12:04Speaker 2: I love it.
- 12:05Speaker 1: But it's not Meghan Markle, you know what I'm saying?
- 12:07Speaker 1: But I will say, look, this is where we are
- 12:10Speaker 1: naughty but nice.
- 12:11Speaker 2: Okay, let's try.
- 12:14Speaker 1: I will applaud her for accepting this. A, because it
- 12:20Speaker 1: did exactly what she needed. It got her in the press.
- 12:23Speaker 2: Good job.
- 12:24Speaker 1: But B, it gives her an opportunity. She can't squander it.
- 12:30Speaker 1: This is where it is. She has to go on there,
- 12:33Speaker 1: and she has to dazzle those four years.
- 12:37Speaker 2: She has to dazzle.
- 12:38Speaker 1: Dazzle those nine years. She needs to be a tiara. Oh,
- 12:41Speaker 1: I'd show up as Cinderella. Princess gown.
- 12:46Speaker 2: She is a Duchess. Megan, I hope you pulled this off.
- 12:48Speaker 2: I just can't imagine, though, that this is where you
- 12:51Speaker 2: wanted your career to be. Okay, quickly before we get
- 12:53Speaker 2: a break, Noah Weil is People Magazine's Sexiest Man Alive.
- 12:58Speaker 2: He said, He thought it was a prank. Now, I
- 13:00Speaker 2: think he's adorable. He's on that new show, The Pit. And,
- 13:04Speaker 2: you know, we know people who have worked at People magazine.
- 13:07Speaker 2: It's not always the sexiest that makes the cover. It's
- 13:09Speaker 2: the one that sells the most. That's all that they
- 13:11Speaker 2: care about. It's the same. It's booked exactly the same
- 13:14Speaker 2: way as every other cover of People with one question.
- 13:17Speaker 2: Is this celebrity going to sell? And if the answer's no,
- 13:20Speaker 2: you're not on the cover. I could have the biggest
- 13:23Speaker 2: movie of the week, but if I don't sell magazines,
- 13:25Speaker 2: I'm not going to be on the cover of People. Now,
- 13:26Speaker 2: People 2 is an older magazine than you think. And
- 13:31Speaker 2: so if they put someone that's 25 on the cover,
- 13:34Speaker 2: a lot of their readers feel creepy. It feels like
- 13:37Speaker 2: you're in love with your son or your grandson. And
- 13:39Speaker 2: so he's at that age, 55 years old. I think
- 13:43Speaker 2: it's a good fit for the demographic of the magazine.
- 13:46Speaker 2: I do like that he is not a pretty, pretty
- 13:48Speaker 2: boy like Brad Pitt. It's not the most obvious choice,
- 13:51Speaker 2: but he just won the Emmy. The Pitt is a
- 13:53Speaker 2: massive show. They think it's going to sell really, really well.
- 13:56Speaker 2: Do you know one celebrity who has turned it down consistently,
- 14:00Speaker 2: who they've asked several times to be People's Sexiest, and
- 14:03Speaker 2: he said, no, I don't want it. Ryan Gosling. No, thanks.
- 14:08Speaker 2: I think now, with magazines not selling, not as relevant
- 14:12Speaker 2: as they used to be, I don't even know if
- 14:15Speaker 2: it's that big a deal anymore. Gosh, when you used
- 14:17Speaker 2: to be named People's Sexiest, the whole world stopped and
- 14:20Speaker 2: talked about it for a day, two days. This is
- 14:23Speaker 2: barely a blip, and so I'm glad he's got it.
- 14:26Speaker 2: He's very thrilled with it. He looks very handsome in
- 14:28Speaker 2: the pictures. I do love his show. Congratulations. But it's
- 14:31Speaker 2: a little bit more to it than just being sexy, OK?
- 14:34Speaker 2: We're going to take a quick break and we will
- 14:36Speaker 2: be right back. Welcome back to The Naughty But Nice Show.
- 14:40Speaker 2: I'm your host, Rob Shooter. Hey, let's get to the polls.
- 14:44Speaker 2: Thank you, Donny. Last show, we spoke about Meghan Markle
- 14:49Speaker 2: is going to reveal information, dark information about her childhood,
- 14:53Speaker 2: potentially even abuse. Should she speak up or remain silent? 80%
- 14:59Speaker 2: said tell the truth. Speak up. It will free you.
- 15:03Speaker 2: I agree. Even if it is ugly, it is always
- 15:06Speaker 2: better after you've told somebody. Hey, don't forget to vote
- 15:09Speaker 2: on today's poll. Go to our X page at Naughty
- 15:12Speaker 2: Nice Rob or our Facebook page, Naughty Yosip, and be
- 15:16Speaker 2: sure to check back tomorrow to hear your results. And
- 15:19Speaker 2: now it's time for my favourite part of the show,
- 15:22Speaker 2: our nicest of the day.
- 15:27Speaker 1: The nicest of the day. Give the youngsters a shot
- 15:31Speaker 1: out there. HBO's The Gilded Age, which isn't really necessarily
- 15:36Speaker 1: known for welcoming everybody if you make less than, I
- 15:41Speaker 1: don't know, a billion dollars a year.
- 15:44Speaker 2: It's a fancy show. It's a fancy show. Yes, it's
- 15:48Speaker 2: a fancy show.
- 15:49Speaker 1: Well, the New York premiere, it welcomed everybody. There was influencers, there.
- 15:54Speaker 2: Was digital creators.
- 15:56Speaker 1: All these young people. Look, I have I will say something.
- 16:00Speaker 1: I know the influencers, digital creators, they get a heart.
- 16:03Speaker 1: They get a bad rap. Trust me, a lot of
- 16:05Speaker 1: them deserve it. But I know quite a few living
- 16:08Speaker 1: out here. It is a full-time job. And it is
- 16:11Speaker 1: not easy. And the pressure that comes along. I have
- 16:15Speaker 1: a friend who has to post. They make their money
- 16:19Speaker 1: off posting. So they have to post a lot. But
- 16:22Speaker 1: then he has to. He frantically watches those numbers. And
- 16:26Speaker 1: if the numbers don't reach a certain threshold by a
- 16:29Speaker 1: certain hour, he's like, oh my.
- 16:32Speaker 2: Gosh, this is a good one. Gotta post again. Gotta
- 16:34Speaker 2: do another video. They don't stop. They work their tails off.
- 16:40Speaker 2: Absolutely work their tails off. Okay, let's go to our
- 16:44Speaker 2: naughtiest of the day. Naughty, naughty, naughty. Kelsey Grammer, as
- 16:47Speaker 2: I noticed the day, Camille Grammer is blasting her ex
- 16:50Speaker 2: for allegedly forgetting their daughter's 25th birthday. Ouch.
- 16:54Speaker 1: I just don't know.
- 16:54Speaker 2: So their daughter, Mason, turned 25 and the Frasier star
- 16:59Speaker 2: did not reach out. Camille wrote the following. Well, apparently...
- 17:08Speaker 2: He didn't. He's a troubled man. But also, too, let's remember,
- 17:12Speaker 2: Camille is hardly the most reliable witness. So maybe somewhere
- 17:16Speaker 2: in between these two is the truth. Hey, let's end
- 17:19Speaker 2: with a moment of Rob. You get it, Rob. You
- 17:21Speaker 2: get it, Rob. For 20 minutes, we love bringing you
- 17:24Speaker 2: all the celebrity gossip, all the celebrity news. But for
- 17:27Speaker 2: a moment, we're a little bit more deep. Today's moment
- 17:30Speaker 2: of Rob. Stop worrying. Nobody is thinking about you as
- 17:35Speaker 2: much as you think. So here's the truth. People are
- 17:38Speaker 2: too busy worrying about their own lives to spend nearly
- 17:42Speaker 2: as much time judging you as you imagine. That awkward conversation,
- 17:47Speaker 2: they've probably forgotten about it. That mistake you made, they
- 17:50Speaker 2: can't remember that. That person you desperately are trying to impress,
- 17:55Speaker 2: they don't know your last name. So take a breath.
- 17:58Speaker 2: Relax your shoulders and stop thinking about conversations that have
- 18:02Speaker 2: already happened and worrying about situations that haven't happened. You
- 18:07Speaker 2: don't need everyone to like you. You don't need to
- 18:11Speaker 2: get everything right. But your freedom begins when you stop
- 18:15Speaker 2: acting like the whole world is watching. It isn't. Go
- 18:20Speaker 2: and live your life. This was one of the most
- 18:22Speaker 2: liberating realisations of my existence. Nobody cares. There's a handful
- 18:29Speaker 2: of people. Thankfully, we found our tribe. The naughties care.
