- 2:01Speaker 2: Thank you so much for having me on. I'm really
- 2:03Speaker 2: excited to be here, Fret.
- 2:04Speaker 1: I had the pleasure of meeting you through the AI
- 2:07Speaker 1: of New York City when you did your presentation, and
- 2:10Speaker 1: I was so thrilled with what you shared that I
- 2:12Speaker 1: decided to be a wonderful topic for this show. So
- 2:15Speaker 1: let's start by sharing your early path with us and
- 2:18Speaker 1: the events that led up to a life changing healing
- 2:21Speaker 1: in nineteen ninety nine.
- 2:24Speaker 2: Yeah, so that feels like a few lifetimes ago, but
- 2:27Speaker 2: let me jog my memory. And the first major thing
- 2:33Speaker 2: that happened was I was twenty seven. I was I
- 2:39Speaker 2: reached a financial goal that I always wanted to reach.
- 2:43Speaker 2: I was on pace to make a quarter million dollars
- 2:46Speaker 2: a year. I had the car, I wanted, the girlfriend,
- 2:49Speaker 2: the house, the dog. But something felt incomplete, something felt
- 2:55Speaker 2: like it was missing, and I was like I had
- 2:57Speaker 2: arrived at a place I always thought I wanted to be,
- 3:00Speaker 2: but something felt like it was just it wasn't complete,
- 3:03Speaker 2: it wasn't all there. So one night I was woken
- 3:10Speaker 2: up by an ex girlfriend calling me at like three
- 3:12Speaker 2: in the morning. She said, Brett, I know it's the
- 3:14Speaker 2: middle of the night, but I just had an inspiration.
- 3:17Speaker 2: I had to share this with you. I'm being guided
- 3:20Speaker 2: to tell you that you need to learn how to meditate.
- 3:24Speaker 2: So we talked for like another two or three minutes.
- 3:26Speaker 2: We got off the phone. I was like, Okay, that
- 3:28Speaker 2: was weird. I couldn't get back to sleep. So I
- 3:31Speaker 2: opened up a book that I was reading on technical
- 3:34Speaker 2: remote viewing, and the chapter I opened up to the
- 3:37Speaker 2: next chapter said you cannot proceed until you learn how
- 3:41Speaker 2: to do this certain type of meditation. So I was like, oh, wow,
- 3:44Speaker 2: this is weird, right, So I read a little bit
- 3:49Speaker 2: of that chapter.
- 3:50Speaker 3: And then put the book down.
- 3:53Speaker 2: Kind of was like bugging out a little bit, Like
- 3:54Speaker 2: I had the phone call, and then I pick up
- 3:56Speaker 2: the book and it.
- 3:58Speaker 3: Was about meditation.
- 3:59Speaker 2: And then I couldn't get asleep, so I turned the
- 4:01Speaker 2: TV on and there is this preacher for the first
- 4:04Speaker 2: time i've ever seen him, Joelstein saying with his hand
- 4:09Speaker 2: out like almost like it was coming through the TV screen.
- 4:12Speaker 2: You got to learn how to meditate. So that weekend
- 4:18Speaker 2: I went to a three day transcendental meditation workshop and
- 4:24Speaker 2: my first solo meditation on Sunday morning. Right before I
- 4:29Speaker 2: went there, they you know, they we did our Friday
- 4:31Speaker 2: night program, the Saturday program. They said, Okay, tomorrow Sunday morning,
- 4:35Speaker 2: when you wake up, do your first solo meditation for
- 4:37Speaker 2: twenty minutes, and then come to the Sunday afternoon session and.
- 4:40Speaker 3: We're going to discuss it.
- 4:42Speaker 2: So my first solo meditation on that Sunday morning, I
- 4:45Speaker 2: had a triple out of body experience. So I was
- 4:48Speaker 2: sitting and meditating. I closed my eyes, went deep with
- 4:52Speaker 2: my mantra, and then all of a sudden, I was
- 4:55Speaker 2: able to see the room around me perfectly clear with
- 4:59Speaker 2: my my eyes closed, and then I had the viewpoint
- 5:04Speaker 2: from about fifteen feet above me where there.
- 5:07Speaker 3: Was a loft.
- 5:08Speaker 2: I had a loft in this apartment, and I was
- 5:10Speaker 2: overlooking the whole apartment and I was like wow. I
- 5:14Speaker 2: remember just feeling like wow, this is this is pretty crazy.
- 5:19Speaker 2: Then over to the right of me. There was a
- 5:21Speaker 2: lot of light in the room, so I took my
- 5:25Speaker 2: conscious back in the chair where I was sitting, and
- 5:28Speaker 2: then I kind of just gently moved over to where
- 5:31Speaker 2: the light was. So I walked over about and when
- 5:33Speaker 2: I say walked, I mean just walk with my mind
- 5:36Speaker 2: over about ten feet to the right where the light was.
- 5:39Speaker 2: And it was an image of my light body.
- 5:41Speaker 3: It was me.
- 5:44Speaker 2: In the form of light, laying flat on my back
- 5:47Speaker 2: about four feet in the air, surrounded in a tube
- 5:51Speaker 2: of light. It was like a chamber. And the only
- 5:53Speaker 2: way I could describe it is about three hundred hulu
- 5:55Speaker 2: hoops made of different colors, connected together light in different directions.
- 6:02Speaker 2: It was almost like a colorful rainbow. And I remember
- 6:06Speaker 2: just sitting there looking at this, looking at this part
- 6:10Speaker 2: of myself, and then looking over at my body in
- 6:13Speaker 2: the chair, which was off to the side. And then
- 6:19Speaker 2: I came back to the body, got back in the body,
- 6:23Speaker 2: and brang my consciousness back to center, and was just
- 6:27Speaker 2: kind of dumbfounded, right, I was just kind of blown away.
- 6:32Speaker 2: And that opened up my mind. That experience totally opened
- 6:36Speaker 2: me up. I felt like it was an initiation and
- 6:38Speaker 2: a introduction to where my light body was resting in
- 6:42Speaker 2: a different dimension, on a different plane. Now the backdrop
- 6:47Speaker 2: of that. For about six months, I was trying to
- 6:49Speaker 2: reach this psychic because six months prior, my mother met
- 6:53Speaker 2: the psychic at a party in Long Island, New York.
- 6:55Speaker 2: And she's like, Brett, I'm not you know, my mother's
- 6:58Speaker 2: not into psychic shows an into things like that. But
- 7:01Speaker 2: she goes, Brett, she was right on about you, your brother,
- 7:03Speaker 2: and me, So I want you to talk to her.
- 7:06Speaker 2: So I was trying to call this lady for like
- 7:08Speaker 2: six months. So on my way back from that meditation
- 7:13Speaker 2: retreat session that Sunday afternoon, as I'm pulling into my driveway,
- 7:18Speaker 2: I felt like these three waves come through me and
- 7:20Speaker 2: I saw glimpses of my future in my life, and
- 7:24Speaker 2: I said, you know what, I bet you. She picks
- 7:26Speaker 2: up the phone. So I got into the house, called her,
- 7:30Speaker 2: and the first thing she said to me was thanks
- 7:32Speaker 2: for hanging in their, kiddo. She didn't say who is this,
- 7:36Speaker 2: she didn't you know, She just said thanks for hanging
- 7:38Speaker 2: in there, kiddo. So we scheduled time to talk a
- 7:40Speaker 2: week later. She told me when we did our session,
- 7:44Speaker 2: she told me three things that happened to me that
- 7:46Speaker 2: I never told anyone in my life. Okay, right off
- 7:51Speaker 2: the bat, just to create credibility with me, she mentioned
- 7:54Speaker 2: that I was sexually abused when I was eleven or twelve.
- 7:59Speaker 3: I never told her that.
- 8:01Speaker 2: She mentioned I saw my grandfather after he had passed away.
- 8:05Speaker 2: I've never told anyone that up to that point. And
- 8:08Speaker 2: then she mentioned that I saw a spaceship in my
- 8:11Speaker 2: room when I was five. I never told anyone that
- 8:15Speaker 2: right off the bat when we did our session, so
- 8:17Speaker 2: right away I knew she was dialed in to some
- 8:22Speaker 2: intelligence and I had a thirst for it. I had
- 8:27Speaker 2: a really big thirst for that intelligence. So towards the
- 8:30Speaker 2: end of that session, she knew that I was working
- 8:32Speaker 2: with an issue of jealousy. Around this time, I realized
- 8:36Speaker 2: that I had a problem with jealousy. I realized once
- 8:40Speaker 2: I started meditating that from age fifteen to now twenty seven.
- 8:45Speaker 2: At that time, all of my relationships with women. Around
- 8:48Speaker 2: the eighteen month mark, I became very jealous and that
- 8:52Speaker 2: pattern became clear to me, and it was starting to
- 8:54Speaker 2: happen in the relationship I was in at that point
- 8:56Speaker 2: in my life. So she referred me to a healer
- 8:59Speaker 2: and so don't Arizona. And then I drove out to
- 9:02Speaker 2: him that next weekend, so you could kind of see
- 9:04Speaker 2: the speed in which the universe was working with me.
- 9:08Speaker 2: And at that point I realized that if I take
- 9:11Speaker 2: one step towards God, God takes ten steps towards me.
- 9:16Speaker 2: So I started acting on my inspiration at that period
- 9:20Speaker 2: of my time, in that period of my life, and
- 9:22Speaker 2: I still do to this day, but at that moment,
- 9:24Speaker 2: it was like a quickening. It was like a catalyst
- 9:28Speaker 2: was changing me from the inside out. So that's how
- 9:31Speaker 2: I you know, that's part of the story of how
- 9:33Speaker 2: I got into this.
- 9:36Speaker 1: And tell us about the healing you experienced.
- 9:39Speaker 3: So I sat down with this man.
- 9:41Speaker 2: In the first five minutes, a memory popped up from
- 9:45Speaker 2: when I was five years old, and all the jealousy
- 9:49Speaker 2: started vibrating up out of my body like I was
- 9:53Speaker 2: feeling it viscerally, and then it unlocked and released, and
- 9:56Speaker 2: then a layer of anger and rage underneath it. It
- 10:01Speaker 2: came up and I was feeling it in my body
- 10:03Speaker 2: like viscerally, and then that unlocked and released, and then
- 10:07Speaker 2: all the sadness came up that the anger was protecting,
- 10:12Speaker 2: and then that unlocked and released, and then the fear,
- 10:19Speaker 2: particularly the fear of abandonment, came up. I felt it
- 10:24Speaker 2: and then it unlocked and released. And that memory was
- 10:30Speaker 2: from when I was five in the household. I grew
- 10:35Speaker 2: up in of my parents arguing, and my father was
- 10:41Speaker 2: doing the exact same things that I did in all
- 10:44Speaker 2: of my relationships with women from age fifteen to that
- 10:47Speaker 2: point in time. My parents were in an argument. He
- 10:51Speaker 2: was grinding his teeth, clenching his fists, and my mother
- 10:55Speaker 2: was like yelling wildly with her hands going, you know,
- 10:59Speaker 2: kind of talking with her or arms, And that was
- 11:02Speaker 2: like the body language of the memory, and I was
- 11:05Speaker 2: in it, Like I remember when that memory popped up,
- 11:11Speaker 2: I looked down and saw the rug when we first
- 11:14Speaker 2: moved into that house, there was a purple rug and
- 11:18Speaker 2: it was it wasn't there long. And when I looked down,
- 11:22Speaker 2: that was that it was there, like I could see
- 11:24Speaker 2: my fingers on the rug. Like when I say the
- 11:26Speaker 2: memory came up, it wasn't like, oh, a memory came
- 11:28Speaker 2: up to mind. I was watching it like I was
- 11:30Speaker 2: watching a movie, but I was also in it. And
- 11:36Speaker 2: the healing light that came through was unconditional love. I
- 11:43Speaker 2: once that fear of abandonment released.
- 11:45Speaker 3: I was being.
- 11:48Speaker 2: Saturated with this constant wave of unconditional love beautiful, and
- 11:59Speaker 2: I felt it in every cell in my body, even
- 12:02Speaker 2: in my fingernails, my toenails, my eyebrows, my hair, like
- 12:06Speaker 2: I felt every cell in my body as the waves
- 12:10Speaker 2: were just pouring through me. It was almost like if
- 12:13Speaker 2: you were laying down at the beach. Imagine like a
- 12:16Speaker 2: beach in Florida where the.
- 12:17Speaker 3: Water is really warm.
- 12:19Speaker 2: You're laying on the beach and the waves are just softly,
- 12:23Speaker 2: kind of softly flowing over your body, and then the
- 12:28Speaker 2: water is now sinking through your body, just cleansing you.
- 12:31Speaker 3: That's what it felt like.
- 12:34Speaker 1: Beautiful And how did that change your life?
- 12:40Speaker 2: So there were biological, physiological, emotional, mental, spiritual changes. I'll
- 12:48Speaker 2: start with the physical and biological. So when we got
- 12:53Speaker 2: back to California, every morning at that time before work,
- 12:58Speaker 2: I was going on the treadmill and and running a
- 13:02Speaker 2: mile and doing a little bit of work out before
- 13:04Speaker 2: I went to work. So that morning I was running,
- 13:09Speaker 2: I felt really free, it felt really easy, So I
- 13:12Speaker 2: just decided to go a little bit faster. It was
- 13:15Speaker 2: still easy, so I to go a little bit faster
- 13:17Speaker 2: and faster. So up to that point, I was running
- 13:20Speaker 2: like a ten minute mile every day, and that day
- 13:23Speaker 2: I ran a six and a half minute mile without
- 13:25Speaker 2: breaking a sweat. So right there, I knew that there
- 13:29Speaker 2: was a deep physiological, biological change inside my body. It
- 13:35Speaker 2: wasn't just a quote unquote spiritual or emotional healing. I
- 13:40Speaker 2: changed when I went into work. Now I had five suits, right,
- 13:45Speaker 2: I had my Monday suit, Tuesday suit, you get the picture.
- 13:49Speaker 2: I went in with my Monday suit. Before I even
- 13:53Speaker 2: got to the office. When I was seeing like my
- 13:54Speaker 2: friends that you know, worked in the building, as we're
- 13:57Speaker 2: all walking in together, like, is that a new suit?
- 14:00Speaker 3: No? Like you get a haircut?
- 14:02Speaker 2: I'm like no, But inside I'm like giggling. I'm like
- 14:04Speaker 2: I know, I know I'm different, you know. And from
- 14:10Speaker 2: that session, jealousy never ruined another relationship in my life.
- 14:16Speaker 2: Prior to that session, jealousy ruined all the relationships with
- 14:20Speaker 2: women in my life. So I would say the big
- 14:25Speaker 2: change within me was that in that session, I was
- 14:30Speaker 2: anointed by unconditional love and light, which is all of
- 14:35Speaker 2: our birthrights right, but it was given back to me
- 14:42Speaker 2: in a way that changed me forever. And the things
- 14:48Speaker 2: I chose.
- 14:51Speaker 3: To do.
- 14:53Speaker 2: With my time changed. So before that session, I was
- 14:58Speaker 2: working seventy hours a week. The culture was a very
- 15:02Speaker 2: young company. We would almost five nights a week, some
- 15:06Speaker 2: nights even six go out to the bars and then
- 15:09Speaker 2: blow off steam by going to the clubs on the weekends.
- 15:12Speaker 3: Right, So that all changed. That all changed.
- 15:18Speaker 2: I started to get up earlier and earlier, take my
- 15:22Speaker 2: meditation practice more seriously. I learned technical remote viewing, and
- 15:28Speaker 2: I was doing that in the morning after my meditation,
- 15:31Speaker 2: I was doing a channeling, a higher self channeling that
- 15:36Speaker 2: I learned from some old cassette tapes that Snaia Roman
- 15:40Speaker 2: put out decades ago. And then I started learning from teachers.
- 15:47Speaker 2: So I followed that healer around for a number of
- 15:51Speaker 2: years and started to get a feel for what the
- 15:54Speaker 2: work was. And right away in that first session, I
- 15:57Speaker 2: knew that that's what I want to do for the
- 15:58Speaker 2: rest of my life. I just had no idea what
- 16:01Speaker 2: it was and how to.
- 16:02Speaker 3: Do it, but I knew I wanted to do it.
- 16:04Speaker 2: And then I learned from a thirty fifth generation Shallon
- 16:08Speaker 2: grandmaster from China, the late kim Ewan from California, and
- 16:15Speaker 2: then Vianna Steebel who created the Fatie Healing So I
- 16:20Speaker 2: took multiple levels of training with those teachers.
- 16:24Speaker 1: So that experience literally changed your life.
- 16:28Speaker 3: Absolutely.
- 16:29Speaker 2: I would say it brought out a new me.
- 16:36Speaker 1: Or were you that was already there but had to emerge.
- 16:41Speaker 2: Yes, it came out from within and I was like
- 16:45Speaker 2: a moth to a flame to the light of love.
- 16:52Speaker 1: Beautiful, When did you become aware of your gifts of
- 16:56Speaker 1: Claire audience and Claire sentience and how did they manifest
- 17:00Speaker 1: for you?
- 17:04Speaker 2: So right after that weekend, that first weekend when we
- 17:12Speaker 2: drove out to Sedona, Arizona and I had that first session.
- 17:17Speaker 2: When I came home, I started doing the work on myself,
- 17:22Speaker 2: the work that you experienced with me, Victor and the groups.
- 17:27Speaker 3: That we've done with the Are Center.
- 17:30Speaker 2: I started doing that on myself, which is whenever we started,
- 17:34Speaker 2: whenever I started to feel some emotion, I would call
- 17:37Speaker 2: in the Holy Spirit, that was the energy that I
- 17:40Speaker 2: was really loving calling upon at that time and opening
- 17:45Speaker 2: up to my feelings, expressing my feelings and then commanding
- 17:48Speaker 2: the Holy Spirit to shine light through the center of
- 17:51Speaker 2: the pain, to unlock it and release it from the
- 17:53Speaker 2: inside out. Then I started doing a little bit of
- 17:56Speaker 2: work with my girlfriend at the time, and then I
- 18:00Speaker 2: started to realize that I can do this, that the
- 18:05Speaker 2: energy's right there at our fingertips, like this is this
- 18:09Speaker 2: is something that I can do.
- 18:11Speaker 1: Right.
- 18:12Speaker 2: And I remember asking my first teacher, how do you
- 18:18Speaker 2: know what to say right? Especially after we did I
- 18:21Speaker 2: was in a retreat with him. The first retreat, I
- 18:23Speaker 2: was just blown away, like the one on one sessions
- 18:25Speaker 2: are like incredibly powerful, but when I saw the energy
- 18:30Speaker 2: being facilitated in a group, I was just even more
- 18:33Speaker 2: blown away. And I asked him. I was like, how
- 18:36Speaker 2: do you know what to say? He's like, I never
- 18:39Speaker 2: know what to say. And I didn't know what that meant,
- 18:42Speaker 2: because up to this point, I was a sales trainer
- 18:47Speaker 2: and a sales manager, so I always prepared my trainings
- 18:51Speaker 2: every word right. And then as I got better as
- 18:54Speaker 2: a trainer, I would prepare bullet points and concepts and exercises.
- 18:58Speaker 2: But I would always prepare, So I was like, what
- 19:01Speaker 2: do you mean, and he said, well, I'm always listening,
- 19:04Speaker 2: and he tapped the ear lobe of one of his ears.
- 19:08Speaker 2: I'm always listening. And I didn't really know what he meant.
- 19:12Speaker 2: But then when I started practicing this more and more,
- 19:16Speaker 2: you're not speaking from your ego, you're listening with your
- 19:19Speaker 2: inner ear for the guidance. And once you start listening
- 19:25Speaker 2: with the inner ear for the words, they start to come,
- 19:30Speaker 2: especially when you start to open your mouth as you're
- 19:33Speaker 2: listening to your inner ear and you're trusting, You're like,
- 19:37Speaker 2: now you're a conduit for spirit to come into the
- 19:40Speaker 2: physical reality from eternity. So the universe recognizes you as that,
- 19:47Speaker 2: and the more you play with it, the more you
- 19:50Speaker 2: use it, the wider the conduit gets. So it started
- 19:55Speaker 2: with me with hearing the words, and what helped me
- 19:58Speaker 2: a lot was going into deep meditation, was aligning with
- 20:02Speaker 2: my higher self and learning how to listen not to
- 20:08Speaker 2: my ego but from a much deeper place, from like
- 20:12Speaker 2: the sparks of the universe. The signals of the universe
- 20:15Speaker 2: was sending me, learning how to be a receptor, a
- 20:18Speaker 2: true receptor. And then there's a whole other aspect. So
- 20:23Speaker 2: that's just the clare audience part. The other part is
- 20:32Speaker 2: feeling what someone else is feeling like when I'm coaching somebody,
- 20:36Speaker 2: even if they're on another side of the world and
- 20:38Speaker 2: we're talking on the phone, I tune into their body
- 20:41Speaker 2: and I could feel where their pain is, I could
- 20:42Speaker 2: feel where their tension is. So there's emotional receptors almost
- 20:47Speaker 2: like imagine arms coming out with your fingers wide open,
- 20:52Speaker 2: just receiving like a receptor, and they're feeling. They're all
- 20:57Speaker 2: feeling for different emotions and different intention And when I'm
- 21:01Speaker 2: connecting with a client, right is coming to me for
- 21:04Speaker 2: that healing, I'm feeling them, and I'm feeling them just
- 21:08Speaker 2: enough to identify where the issue is and what it is,
- 21:12Speaker 2: just like a parent that would be taking a child's
- 21:15Speaker 2: hand moving it towards the stove to teach them what
- 21:18Speaker 2: hot is. Right, So I feel it just enough to
- 21:22Speaker 2: identify it, where it is and what it is. I
- 21:25Speaker 2: don't put my hand on the flame and let it
- 21:27Speaker 2: fry me. Okay, that's what people that are highly empathic
- 21:33Speaker 2: and highly sensitive, we get fried by other people's emotions.
- 21:37Speaker 3: I teach our coaches how to.
- 21:38Speaker 2: Just sense enough of it to feel it, to identify it,
- 21:41Speaker 2: to know where it is and what it is. And
- 21:43Speaker 2: then as you sense it a little more and you
- 21:45Speaker 2: really open up to being clear sension, and then you
- 21:50Speaker 2: start to feel the source of it is it coming
- 21:52Speaker 2: from their mother's side, their father's side. Is it coming
- 21:54Speaker 2: from a trauma from you know, childhood, adolescents, adulthood right,
- 22:00Speaker 2: coming far down their bloodline on their mother's side, their
- 22:03Speaker 2: father's side, right, So you're kind of feeling interdimensionally now
- 22:07Speaker 2: the source of it. Once we get to the source,
- 22:12Speaker 2: then I listen to our own divine essence for that
- 22:17Speaker 2: divine guidance.
- 22:19Speaker 3: Right.
- 22:19Speaker 2: So if I'm working one on one, I'll just listen
- 22:21Speaker 2: to their higher self and I'll hear words that their
- 22:25Speaker 2: higher self wants them to say to release the pain
- 22:31Speaker 2: from their body, to release the pain for their ancestors.
- 22:36Speaker 2: So the way it looks like if you could think
- 22:38Speaker 2: of a triangle. So there's a person in front of me,
- 22:40Speaker 2: and there's a triangle between us. There's a high point
- 22:42Speaker 2: between us. Then the triangles coming to the back of
- 22:45Speaker 2: my ear where I hear. Then it's connecting from my
- 22:48Speaker 2: mouth to them, and then it goes.
- 22:49Speaker 3: Back up to that higher self.
- 22:52Speaker 2: So the higher self tells me in my inner ear
- 22:55Speaker 2: what the correction is. I say it, the person in
- 22:58Speaker 2: front of me repeats it, and that's when the tension
- 23:02Speaker 2: starts to release from their organs, their memories, their bones,
- 23:06Speaker 2: their DNA. My first teacher would refer to it as
- 23:11Speaker 2: a self purification process.
- 23:15Speaker 1: Beautiful. My guest is Brett Cotter. We're going to be
- 23:19Speaker 1: talking about his book, The Stress Is Gone Method Break
- 23:22Speaker 1: Free from trauma, emotional pain, and anxiety to reclaim your destiny. Brett,
- 23:28Speaker 1: please share with our listeners with and get all of
- 23:31Speaker 1: your wonderful books and find out more about you and
- 23:33Speaker 1: your work.
- 23:35Speaker 2: Stress is Gone dot Com has all of our books,
- 23:40Speaker 2: as does Amazon. But more importantly, Stress is Gone has
- 23:44Speaker 2: our membership. My wife and I teaching it every day
- 23:47Speaker 2: meditation and movement. That's fifteen dollars a month, comparable to
- 23:52Speaker 2: everything else we've seen out there. It's a fraction of
- 23:55Speaker 2: the cost of most of these memberships and coaching. Our
- 24:00Speaker 2: members get half off coaching, bringing a one hour with me,
- 24:04Speaker 2: healing your childhood pain, healing ancestral generational trauma, healing soul
- 24:09Speaker 2: trauma right and really anchoring in your spirit back into
- 24:13Speaker 2: your body, bringing your kind of true nature and pure
- 24:17Speaker 2: consciousness component back into your everyday life. So that's the
- 24:22Speaker 2: coaching that's one twenty five per an hour. And then
- 24:26Speaker 2: we have retreats. We have a Woman's Retreat coming up
- 24:29Speaker 2: March twenty seventh, of the thirty first at the Himalayan
- 24:31Speaker 2: Institute in Honesdale, Pennsylvania. We're having an incredible number of
- 24:39Speaker 2: guest facilitators coming in from around the world for that
- 24:42Speaker 2: retreat for a very special dance of Destiny on Saturday night.
- 24:46Speaker 2: And then we're going to be in the Bahamas at
- 24:48Speaker 2: the end of January at a trauma symposium at the
- 24:50Speaker 2: Shivenanda Ashram. So we have a lot of fun stuff
- 24:53Speaker 2: coming up, but stress is Gone. Dot Com is the
- 24:56Speaker 2: hub for all of it.
- 24:57Speaker 1: And we'll be back with more of bread after These
- 24:59Speaker 1: were words on the Own Times Radio network.

- 25:29Speaker 4: a global scale. Home Times co creating a more conscious lifestyle.
- 25:34Speaker 1: Back on Destination Unlimited. My guest this week is Brett Cotter.
- 25:39Speaker 1: We'll be talking about his book, The Stress Is Gone
- 25:42Speaker 1: Method Break Free from trauma, emotional pain, and anxiety to
- 25:47Speaker 1: reclaim your destiny. But while we were offline, when we're
- 25:50Speaker 1: talking about experiences that we've shared throughout our lives, and
- 25:54Speaker 1: you had talked about seeing your grandfather in spirit as
- 25:58Speaker 1: a child, and I had the same experience when I
- 26:03Speaker 1: was six and a half years old, where I was
- 26:06Speaker 1: in my room looking at a book and I looked
- 26:08Speaker 1: up and my grandfather was standing there and I said, Grandpa,
- 26:11Speaker 1: when did you come in? And he didn't say a word,
- 26:14Speaker 1: and then he sort of slowly vanished disappeared, and I
- 26:17Speaker 1: went into the living room and I said to my parents,
- 26:20Speaker 1: Grandpa was here, and they said, you're imagining things. I
- 26:22Speaker 1: was one of these kids was labeled with an overactive imagination.
- 26:26Speaker 1: I unbeknownst to me, he was actually in a hospital
- 26:29Speaker 1: at the time and very seriously ill, and a couple
- 26:32Speaker 1: of minutes later, the phone rang with word that he
- 26:34Speaker 1: had passed away. And then my parents looked at each other. Obviously,
- 26:37Speaker 1: my father was my father's father. My father was going
- 26:40Speaker 1: into mourning at that point, but the fact that I
- 26:42Speaker 1: had that vision of him was something that planted a
- 26:46Speaker 1: seed in my life for later on and similar with yours.
- 26:51Speaker 2: Yeah, it planted a big seed. And I wish the
- 26:54Speaker 2: listeners were on the break with us because it was
- 26:57Speaker 2: just fascinating learning about all the synchronicities in our lives,
- 27:02Speaker 2: you know, and the interconnections. But so, when I was five,
- 27:05Speaker 2: my grandfather had passed away, my mother's father, and I
- 27:08Speaker 2: remember that, you know, at the funeral and awake and
- 27:11Speaker 2: that was like the first time I really saw my
- 27:13Speaker 2: mother upset and crying. And I would say is about
- 27:17Speaker 2: maybe one or two weeks later, after we got home,
- 27:21Speaker 2: my brother and I were laying in bed, sleeping.
- 27:24Speaker 3: With my mom.
- 27:25Speaker 2: I was awake and the light on was the light
- 27:29Speaker 2: was on in the hallway, so the door was open
- 27:32Speaker 2: from the bedroom and I was just kind of looking
- 27:34Speaker 2: out and there emerged my grandfather just standing there watching
- 27:41Speaker 2: over us. And I wasn't scared, I wasn't questioning. I
- 27:47Speaker 2: don't even know if I had a thought. I was
- 27:49Speaker 2: just like in the moment with him, and I was
- 27:53Speaker 2: like from that point forward, and I remember actually in
- 27:58Speaker 2: that moment like this isn't all there is, But what
- 28:04Speaker 2: we normally see in reality is not all there is.
- 28:09Speaker 2: Because he left here and now he's back here, and
- 28:12Speaker 2: I sensed him as a little bit different, like he
- 28:14Speaker 2: wasn't there, wasn't like the weight to his body, but
- 28:19Speaker 2: he was there, you know, the shirt he used to wear,
- 28:22Speaker 2: the pants he used to wear. Everything, Just he was
- 28:24Speaker 2: right there and exact same size, and it was just
- 28:30Speaker 2: like it was just so loving, like it was like
- 28:32Speaker 2: a loving presence watching over us, like I felt the
- 28:35Speaker 2: connection and the love. And then after I don't even
- 28:40Speaker 2: know how long it was, I was just kind of
- 28:42Speaker 2: like in awe looking at him. And then after he
- 28:44Speaker 2: just kind of like faded away. There in the room
- 28:50Speaker 2: was a ship. There's a little bit bigger than like
- 28:52Speaker 2: a football. It was like a shape of almost like
- 28:55Speaker 2: a football, and it was slowly going in a circle
- 29:00Speaker 2: in the room slowly, and I remember just being in
- 29:04Speaker 2: all that and just looking at it like it was
- 29:09Speaker 2: a model of a spaceship going around the room. And
- 29:13Speaker 2: wasn't afraid of it, wasn't shocked by it, wasn't really
- 29:17Speaker 2: just being present with it, you know, as a little kid,
- 29:20Speaker 2: like in awe, almost like watching an amazing movie scene.
- 29:25Speaker 2: And then I remember in high school always being fascinated
- 29:35Speaker 2: by psychology. I was actually able to take my first
- 29:38Speaker 2: psychology class when I was a junior, and I was
- 29:42Speaker 2: just always fascinated with understanding myself. I wanted to understand myself.
- 29:46Speaker 2: And I remember starting from age like twelve, looking at
- 29:52Speaker 2: myself from the mirror, peering deep into my own eyes
- 29:56Speaker 2: and saying, what the hell is back there? Like what
- 29:59Speaker 2: is beyond that? Like what's where am I coming from?
- 30:05Speaker 3: Right?
- 30:06Speaker 2: Like what am I What's behind my eyes? Like I
- 30:10Speaker 2: felt like that was the other side of the projector
- 30:13Speaker 2: like going in through the lens, and then there was
- 30:17Speaker 2: the real part of the universe was through that. I
- 30:23Speaker 2: felt like it was expansive. It was, yeah, just expansive
- 30:28Speaker 2: in every direction, right on the other side of.
- 30:30Speaker 3: My own eyes.
- 30:31Speaker 2: And when I started getting into this work pretty soon,
- 30:36Speaker 2: I realized when I started doing one on one sessions
- 30:39Speaker 2: with people and we kept our eyes open and we
- 30:41Speaker 2: were in person, we would actually start to see shape
- 30:45Speaker 2: shifting in our faces. And I remember I did a
- 30:48Speaker 2: one and a half hour talk at a center in
- 30:51Speaker 2: Long Island and there was twenty people there that normally
- 30:54Speaker 2: attended that center, and I guided them through this exercise
- 30:58Speaker 2: where people paired up in two's and they would just
- 31:02Speaker 2: look at each other. They would pick one eye that
- 31:04Speaker 2: they were more comfortable. They would look through the eye,
- 31:07Speaker 2: like almost imagining looking through at like twenty yards out
- 31:13Speaker 2: through the person. And then I don't know if you
- 31:15Speaker 2: remember this, but when I was in college, there were
- 31:17Speaker 2: these posters that were made out of all these dots,
- 31:20Speaker 2: but if you stared in to the poster long enough,
- 31:22Speaker 2: an image would come out. Yes, okay, so that's what
- 31:26Speaker 2: we would do. We wouldn't blink, we would stare through it,
- 31:29Speaker 2: and everything else would get fuzzy around that one eye,
- 31:34Speaker 2: and then you would start to see other faces appear.
- 31:37Speaker 2: And every there were ten pairs, there was twenty people.
- 31:40Speaker 2: Every person in each pair saw another face on the
- 31:44Speaker 2: person that they were doing this with. And I can't
- 31:49Speaker 2: tell you the things that I've seen doing this work
- 31:51Speaker 2: looking into a person's eye. And I don't do that
- 31:54Speaker 2: much coaching in person one on one. I usually do
- 31:56Speaker 2: it over the phone, and then I do my retreats
- 31:57Speaker 2: in person. So where people have come up to me
- 32:02Speaker 2: after really intense releases in retreats and told me what
- 32:06Speaker 2: they have seen around me. So yeah, there's like a
- 32:10Speaker 2: lot of energy that is coming in from like interdimensionally
- 32:14Speaker 2: that comes into the moment when we're really connecting with
- 32:17Speaker 2: each other and letting the love flow and letting the
- 32:20Speaker 2: healing come in.
- 32:21Speaker 1: Absolutely. Before we discuss your latest book, The Stress Is
- 32:26Speaker 1: Gone Method, please tell us about your earlier works, Three
- 32:30Speaker 1: Keys to Managing PTSD, The Warriors Guide to Overcome and
- 32:34Speaker 1: Combat Trauma, and The Suicide Prevention Family Handbook. What inspired
- 32:39Speaker 1: these books and what do you share with readers.
- 32:42Speaker 2: Yeah, so my first book was The Three Keys to
- 32:45Speaker 2: Managing PTSD, and this is how that one came about.
- 32:51Speaker 2: In twenty fourteen, I was creating a mobile app called
- 32:55Speaker 2: PTSD Free and I wanted my father to test it
- 32:58Speaker 2: for me.
- 32:59Speaker 3: Right. He was a Vietnam Marine veteran.
- 33:02Speaker 2: He was in New York City for firefighter retired and
- 33:07Speaker 2: I wanted to test the app for me. So he
- 33:09Speaker 2: was like ducking me for a month. I was like
- 33:11Speaker 2: counting him. I'm like, why is this guy not get
- 33:13Speaker 2: back to me? So he finally called me back. It
- 33:15Speaker 2: was on a was a it was a Tuesday night.
- 33:20Speaker 2: He calls me back and he's like, Bret, I'm so sorry.
- 33:27Speaker 2: I'm not an app guy. He's like, I feel terrible.
- 33:29Speaker 2: He's like, I'm trying to press the buttons. I just
- 33:32Speaker 2: He's like, I'm having trouble with it now. My father
- 33:34Speaker 2: had tremendous hands. He was also a master mechanic construction.
- 33:39Speaker 2: He could build a building, a car with his own hands, right,
- 33:41Speaker 2: So his fingers were huge so he couldn't hit that.
- 33:44Speaker 2: He felt bad about it, and I said, Dad, there's
- 33:48Speaker 2: no big deal. I'm working a lot with veterans right now,
- 33:53Speaker 2: and I would feel terrible if I let the veteran
- 33:58Speaker 2: that's most important to me slip through my fingers.
- 34:02Speaker 3: Right.
- 34:02Speaker 2: I started doing some work at the VA, leading classes,
- 34:05Speaker 2: working with a lot more veterans, especially doing this, you know, getting.
- 34:08Speaker 3: This app out there.
- 34:10Speaker 2: I was like, let's just do a coaching session and
- 34:13Speaker 2: he jokingly said, he goes, do you really want to
- 34:15Speaker 2: pop the lid off this top?
- 34:16Speaker 3: I said, yeah, Dad, I do.
- 34:18Speaker 2: He always stood his demons were bigger than him, right,
- 34:21Speaker 2: And he's like, okay, we'll do it on Friday. Said awesome.
- 34:25Speaker 2: We got off the phone. We had a session scheduled
- 34:28Speaker 2: for Friday. That next day, he was shopping with his
- 34:35Speaker 2: buddy from the fire department for their barbecue that they
- 34:38Speaker 2: would do every Wednesday, and he had a bleeding stroke
- 34:42Speaker 2: in the center of his brain, and eleven days later
- 34:48Speaker 2: we buried him, so we never had that chance to
- 34:52Speaker 2: do that session. So I cried like a baby, learned
- 34:59Speaker 2: a lot about how to reconnect with a loved one
- 35:03Speaker 2: who's on the other side. And then after six months
- 35:07Speaker 2: of processing the pain, decided to start writing. I wanted
- 35:12Speaker 2: to write a book for veterans like my dad that
- 35:15Speaker 2: might not be app savvy, but anyone could use a workbook.
- 35:20Speaker 2: And I wrote that book in a language that veterans
- 35:24Speaker 2: really appreciate, in love. It's written for them. And the
- 35:30Speaker 2: three keys to managing PTSD are learning how to stop
- 35:34Speaker 2: a stress reaction, and the book shows them how to
- 35:36Speaker 2: do that. It's process the traumatic memories and the book
- 35:41Speaker 2: guides them through that. And then the third key is
- 35:44Speaker 2: meditate a little bit every day, and the book shows
- 35:47Speaker 2: them how to do that, and then the app would
- 35:50Speaker 2: set up their meditation practice and help them do those
- 35:55Speaker 2: other the first two keys as well, process the trauma
- 35:58Speaker 2: and learn how to stop a stress reaction.
- 36:00Speaker 3: So that's how the.
- 36:00Speaker 2: First book came about. It was dedicated to my dad.
- 36:04Speaker 2: And whenever I do a veteran focused event, often I'll
- 36:08Speaker 2: bring like a case of books with me, and I
- 36:10Speaker 2: always feel like he's right in the passenger seat.
- 36:13Speaker 3: With me in the car. Always nice. So that's the
- 36:17Speaker 3: first book.
- 36:18Speaker 2: Any questions, any follow up questions, there.
- 36:20Speaker 1: No, just I'd want to thank you for being of
- 36:22Speaker 1: service to those who have served. Thank you, Thank you
- 36:25Speaker 1: very much.
- 36:26Speaker 2: I feel like it's an honor and a privilege to
- 36:28Speaker 2: be in that position, and it is a beautiful position
- 36:33Speaker 2: to be in.
- 36:34Speaker 1: And then the Suicide Prevention Family Handbook.
- 36:37Speaker 2: Yeah, so that I published in January of this year,
- 36:41Speaker 2: twenty twenty five, and that is a culmination of all
- 36:48Speaker 2: of my experience working and coaching people that came to
- 36:53Speaker 2: me when they were suicidal. So towards the end of
- 36:57Speaker 2: twenty twenty four, I had a number of clients that
- 37:01Speaker 2: were coming to me in that state and I was
- 37:06Speaker 2: being called to compile everything, all the information, all the advice,
- 37:14Speaker 2: and my wife had scheduled us to have a table
- 37:19Speaker 2: at the American Foundation Suicide Prevention their walkathon in Long Island, right,
- 37:26Speaker 2: And what I wanted to do was get a little
- 37:28Speaker 2: booklet done before that event. So I was on a
- 37:31Speaker 2: race to get it done in four weeks, and I
- 37:34Speaker 2: got the first version done that I printed at a
- 37:38Speaker 2: local printer of the book for that event, and we
- 37:43Speaker 2: were able to you know, hand it out for free.
- 37:45Speaker 3: And the book helps parents and loved ones of.
- 37:51Speaker 2: Those suffering, helps those people supporting someone suffering learn how
- 37:57Speaker 2: to talk to the individual so they feel the individual
- 38:01Speaker 2: feels safe enough to open up and share the depths
- 38:04Speaker 2: of their pain. It also shows those that are supporting
- 38:09Speaker 2: individuals that are suffering the proper body language to help
- 38:13Speaker 2: someone feel safe, the proper tone and the proper verbiage
- 38:17Speaker 2: that serenades their deepest pains from the depths of the
- 38:21Speaker 2: subconscious up and out of the mind and the body,
- 38:25Speaker 2: so they can begin to heal emotionally. So it's a
- 38:28Speaker 2: very transformational communication technique. In chapter one, Chapter two is
- 38:34Speaker 2: a culmination of all the exercises that I directly shared
- 38:38Speaker 2: with those that were suicidal that worked amazing, that people
- 38:42Speaker 2: got a lot out of.
- 38:43Speaker 3: And that's in chapter two.
- 38:44Speaker 2: So the chapter two is for somebody that's suffering from
- 38:46Speaker 2: suicidal ideation or deep dark depression. And chapter three is
- 38:51Speaker 2: for anyone that's lost a loved one that wants to
- 38:54Speaker 2: reconnect with them in dreams and feel completely reconnected with
- 38:59Speaker 2: them intionally and spiritually, and that's what that's how that
- 39:05Speaker 2: book came about.
- 39:06Speaker 1: How did you create and develop the Stress Is Gone Method?
- 39:12Speaker 2: So the Stress Has Gone Method is an ongoing process
- 39:19Speaker 2: that continues to grow. It's like a field of mushrooms
- 39:24Speaker 2: or dandelions that continue just to pop up.
- 39:27Speaker 3: Right and.
- 39:30Speaker 2: Early on in my career, when I moved back from
- 39:33Speaker 2: California and was living in New York, I was coaching
- 39:37Speaker 2: one on one a lot of people, and I was
- 39:39Speaker 2: just focused on physical and emotional pain, releasing that and
- 39:43Speaker 2: helping people heal deep trauma. Right, And within one week,
- 39:50Speaker 2: I think it was around two thousand and six or seven,
- 39:56Speaker 2: within one week, a bunch of clients came back to
- 39:58Speaker 2: me like, look, that was total transformational. I'm not plagued
- 40:02Speaker 2: or worried or stressed out about that trauma, But what
- 40:05Speaker 2: do I do the next time I'm stressed? And I
- 40:09Speaker 2: just started to think of that sign in a restaurant
- 40:13Speaker 2: that shows someone how to help someone else who's choking, right,
- 40:17Speaker 2: It's like what to do if someone's choking. I'm like,
- 40:19Speaker 2: I want to make one of those for when you're stressed,
- 40:23Speaker 2: Like what can you do for yourself when you're stressed?
- 40:26Speaker 2: So Over the years, this method stressed up or breathwork,
- 40:32Speaker 2: has been developing, and right now it's in a state
- 40:35Speaker 2: of the three steps of touch the tension. Breathe deep
- 40:40Speaker 2: and slow, and once per breath silently say I'm okay. Now,
- 40:47Speaker 2: if you're really stressed out, you could say I'm gonna
- 40:50Speaker 2: be okay, and then you breathe and you say it's
- 40:54Speaker 2: gonna be okay, And then you breathe I'm gonna be okay.
- 41:00Speaker 2: And then you breathe and as you're breathing deeply and slowly,
- 41:04Speaker 2: letting the airflow soak into the tension that you're touching,
- 41:08Speaker 2: the stress starts to unlock and release, usually within a
- 41:11Speaker 2: minute to two minutes.
- 41:13Speaker 3: And there's many.
- 41:14Speaker 2: Reasons why those three steps work amazing together. Number one,
- 41:18Speaker 2: the touch is healing. There's science that shows that touch
- 41:23Speaker 2: is therapeutic. And I would always go back to like
- 41:26Speaker 2: when I was five years old and I stumbled and
- 41:28Speaker 2: my knee was bleeding and I was panicked from seeing
- 41:30Speaker 2: the blood and in pain, and then my grandmother would
- 41:32Speaker 2: grab me and start to rock me back and forth
- 41:34Speaker 2: in the rocking chair, and it was like her touch
- 41:38Speaker 2: and her love and her hug all of a sudden
- 41:40Speaker 2: all the pain would be gone from that touch. Right,
- 41:44Speaker 2: the touch is therapeutic.
- 41:45Speaker 3: Now.
- 41:45Speaker 2: The area that we hold tension when we're stressed out,
- 41:49Speaker 2: that's where all this cellular memory lives in our body
- 41:53Speaker 2: that just got activated. And those cellular memories are traumatic
- 41:57Speaker 2: memories either from our lifetime, our parents, or back down
- 42:00Speaker 2: the bloodline neatly wrapped in our DNA. Things trigger us
- 42:04Speaker 2: and the area of tension holds all those old memories.
- 42:07Speaker 2: When you touch the ten cells, we start to get
- 42:11Speaker 2: back to a state of homeostasis. And then the deep,
- 42:14Speaker 2: slow breathing science has been telling us for decades that
- 42:18Speaker 2: that's how we manually shift gears from stressed to rest.
- 42:22Speaker 2: And then the imok mantra is the reverse logic of
- 42:27Speaker 2: our fight or flight reaction, which is I must run
- 42:30Speaker 2: or fight to stay alive. So when you use those
- 42:33Speaker 2: three steps together, it's like a one two three knockout
- 42:36Speaker 2: punch for stress. And the best time to practice is
- 42:39Speaker 2: when you go to sleep at night, and then you
- 42:41Speaker 2: get the muscle memory from practicing. When you go to
- 42:43Speaker 2: sleep at night, usually your be out like a light.
- 42:46Speaker 2: Even if you have really intense sleep issues. Falling asleep
- 42:50Speaker 2: a lot of recurring thoughts. When you do this technique,
- 42:52Speaker 2: you'll be out like a light in five minutes. And
- 42:54Speaker 2: then you use the technique when you're stressed during the day.
- 42:56Speaker 2: That was the first tool of the Stressedgonde method. Then,
- 43:00Speaker 2: in when COVID happened, I developed the Anxiety Freedom technique
- 43:04Speaker 2: for the doctors and nurses that I was hearing about
- 43:07Speaker 2: in the New York City hospitals that were absorbing a
- 43:10Speaker 2: tidal wave, a tsunami of stress from the pandemic. And
- 43:14Speaker 2: I was hearing more and more stories about doctors and
- 43:17Speaker 2: nurses in the parking lot crying before they had to
- 43:20Speaker 2: walk in, and then in their driveway crying before they
- 43:22Speaker 2: had to walk into their house. So I knew that
- 43:26Speaker 2: was a big problem. So I created the Anxiety Freedom technique.
- 43:28Speaker 2: Then I created the TNT, which is the Transforming Negative
- 43:32Speaker 2: Thoughts for teenagers that are having a tough time with
- 43:35Speaker 2: negative thoughts.
- 43:37Speaker 3: And then it just kept on going more and more
- 43:39Speaker 3: and more.
- 43:40Speaker 2: I got on a roll a technique called the traumatic
- 43:43Speaker 2: Memory release that you could actually release your own pain
- 43:47Speaker 2: from your own traumatic memories. Then I started pulling techniques
- 43:51Speaker 2: in that were coming through in our retreats like the
- 43:53Speaker 2: Inner Child enlightenment technique, which heals our inner child and
- 43:57Speaker 2: bathes it in unconditional love and light and creates a
- 44:01Speaker 2: beautiful connection with our adult self and our inner child.
- 44:05Speaker 1: Bred and the introduction to the Stress is Gone method.
- 44:08Speaker 1: You offer a series of essential questions that the user
- 44:11Speaker 1: should ask. Please share some of these and why they're helpful, all.
- 44:17Speaker 2: Right, So those questions are designed to get readers in
- 44:22Speaker 2: touch with what they really want. And I found the
- 44:29Speaker 2: reason why you want the thing you want is actually
- 44:34Speaker 2: more important than the thing you want. So the why
- 44:38Speaker 2: do you want it? Because when we understand the why
- 44:41Speaker 2: we want something, we can just go for that. It
- 44:45Speaker 2: kind of cuts to the chase. So the difference is
- 44:49Speaker 2: like a dog chasing its tail versus when a dog
- 44:53Speaker 2: remembers where the bone is buried in the backyard. Even
- 44:58Speaker 2: if the dog doesn't see the bone, it just remin
- 45:00Speaker 2: members where the bone is. The dog tail goes up,
- 45:02Speaker 2: it starts wagging, and it runs over and it gets
- 45:04Speaker 2: the bone just because it remembers where it is. So
- 45:08Speaker 2: I feel that anything we want to manifest in our lives,
- 45:12Speaker 2: we already have it somewhere, and we want it here.
- 45:17Speaker 2: The universe is a vast place now folks are calling
- 45:21Speaker 2: it the multiverse. So there's a version of you somewhere
- 45:25Speaker 2: that has this thing that you want here, but you
- 45:28Speaker 2: don't see it yet, and that closes our heart because
- 45:31Speaker 2: we get disappointed because we don't have it here yet.
- 45:35Speaker 3: Right, So, some of the.
- 45:37Speaker 2: Questions are, what is the one thing you want more
- 45:41Speaker 2: than anything in the world. What would your life be
- 45:45Speaker 2: like if you had it right now? So I want
- 45:47Speaker 2: people to start to use their imagination to let their
- 45:50Speaker 2: mind run wild with what their life would be like
- 45:55Speaker 2: if they had it right now. And as you're listening
- 45:59Speaker 2: to this, just close your eyes and allow yourself to
- 46:02Speaker 2: do that. What's the one thing you want? Why do
- 46:05Speaker 2: you want it? Because I want to be happy, I
- 46:08Speaker 2: want to be connected, I want to be fulfilled. I
- 46:10Speaker 2: want to live my purpose. Okay, now, what would your
- 46:14Speaker 2: life be like fulfilling your purpose, feeling connected, being happy.
- 46:20Speaker 2: Let your mind is run wild. Let those new connections
- 46:23Speaker 2: in your brain, those new neural pathways open up.
- 46:26Speaker 3: What would your life.
- 46:27Speaker 2: Be like after having it for ten years? Sit back
- 46:33Speaker 2: and let those images, those neural pathways, those connections. Let
- 46:40Speaker 2: it all happen in your mind as you breathe, what
- 46:45Speaker 2: does it feel like having that thing for over a decade,
- 46:55Speaker 2: for over ten years. And then the last question is
- 47:01Speaker 2: if you knew the thing you wanted would appear, if
- 47:06Speaker 2: you lived as if it was already here.
- 47:10Speaker 3: Would you?
- 47:13Speaker 2: And I think most of us would answer yes. But
- 47:16Speaker 2: here's the challenge. And now we're talking about manifestation. Right
- 47:22Speaker 2: to me, the heart center is the birth canal for
- 47:26Speaker 2: everything we manifest. If you think of the thing that
- 47:30Speaker 2: you want and your heart closes because your eyes can't
- 47:34Speaker 2: see it yet, you're just going to manifest another moment
- 47:37Speaker 2: of that not having it. So our thoughts and our
- 47:43Speaker 2: emotions throw paint on the canvas of the next moment.
- 47:50Speaker 2: So if our heart closes, we're creating another moment of
- 47:54Speaker 2: not having it. But if you just close your eyes
- 47:58Speaker 2: and you allow yourself to think of whatever it is
- 48:01Speaker 2: you want without saying I have all the money right
- 48:08Speaker 2: without saying I'm rich, without saying that, just saying maybe
- 48:13Speaker 2: ideas like success, breathing wealth, feeling and breathing money, breathing feeling,
- 48:33Speaker 2: allowing your heart to open, just holding those ideas, connection,
- 48:46Speaker 2: breathing love, thinking of love. What do we all want?
- 48:56Speaker 2: What are we made of. What are we disconnected when
- 48:59Speaker 2: we come here from that love? Focusing our mind on love,
- 49:05Speaker 2: just the idea of love, maybe seeing the letters floating
- 49:07Speaker 2: around in your mind, breathing, receiving, letting your heart open.
- 49:16Speaker 2: So when we think of the things that we want
- 49:19Speaker 2: to create and manifest, step one getting out of the
- 49:24Speaker 2: starting gate is opening our heart. Opening our heart. Think
- 49:33Speaker 2: about people that complain, right, think about yourselves. I think
- 49:38Speaker 2: about myself. When I was complaining, my heart was closed.
- 49:41Speaker 2: I was creating more of that lack or creating more
- 49:45Speaker 2: moments of being upset about that thing. The thing we
- 49:49Speaker 2: have to understand is that the human being is a creator.
- 49:55Speaker 2: We are creators. Dogs don't build their own doghouses. We
- 49:58Speaker 2: build them. We have ideas and we create it. If
- 50:03Speaker 2: you're putting up holiday likes, you have the idea in
- 50:05Speaker 2: your head and then you go do it. We're creators.
- 50:08Speaker 2: Here's the deal. Most of humanity is creating unconsciously. We're
- 50:16Speaker 2: creating from the stress and the body. That's why we
- 50:19Speaker 2: see stress all throughout our reality, all throughout humanity because
- 50:25Speaker 2: we're creating more of it because we're focusing on it.
- 50:31Speaker 2: So this is about learning how to focus our mind
- 50:36Speaker 2: on what we want, closing our eyes, seeing it, breathing, receiving,
- 50:43Speaker 2: not saying I have love, I am love, just love,
- 50:46Speaker 2: just that thing, and being it. When I say we
- 50:51Speaker 2: are creators. You might think of the supreme being when
- 50:55Speaker 2: you think of the word creator, Okay, but think of
- 51:00Speaker 2: it more as supremely being. Not a supreme being, but
- 51:06Speaker 2: supremely being. And it's a state of being. It's a
- 51:14Speaker 2: state of vibration, it's a state of love. It's a
- 51:16Speaker 2: state of supremely being, breathing deep and slow, receiving the airflow,
- 51:23Speaker 2: opening up to our own divine essence from the inside out.
- 51:32Speaker 2: So before we get into the techniques, those questions just
- 51:38Speaker 2: get us to think about things a little bit differently,
- 51:41Speaker 2: to kind of open up the playing field so that
- 51:44Speaker 2: we can learn something new, so that we could dive
- 51:47Speaker 2: into this manifesting machine right of the psyche, the body,
- 51:57Speaker 2: and start to cleanse it from the inside out, start
- 52:00Speaker 2: to cleanse those old layers of fear and doubt, releasing
- 52:04Speaker 2: them so we could breathe again from the inside out,
- 52:07Speaker 2: so we could feel safe in our own skin, so
- 52:11Speaker 2: we can truly manifest what we're here to do and
- 52:16Speaker 2: be and enjoy it along the way, because as we
- 52:20Speaker 2: clean out the projector inside of us. If you think
- 52:22Speaker 2: of like the body, the human body, and this experience
- 52:25Speaker 2: as like a manifesting machine, we're also like a projector.
- 52:28Speaker 2: We're actually projecting reality. So what we feel, what we think,
- 52:34Speaker 2: and we really what we're programmed to think from our
- 52:38Speaker 2: past generations and our upbringing, that's what we're keep on seeing.
- 52:41Speaker 2: That's how that's why history repeats itself. When we break
- 52:45Speaker 2: that cycle and we look from the inside out with
- 52:49Speaker 2: the inner eye, we listen with the inner ear, we're
- 52:52Speaker 2: starting to receive the impulses from the universe directly, not
- 52:56Speaker 2: from the impulses and the ideas from our family, our community,
- 53:01Speaker 2: from our religions, from our political parties, not from that.
- 53:04Speaker 2: When we're receiving the impulses from the universe directly, those
- 53:08Speaker 2: impulses come through and inspiration, intuition.
- 53:15Speaker 3: Deep inner visions, dreams.
- 53:17Speaker 2: Right, That's how the universe prings us and sends us
- 53:19Speaker 2: those messages. It's learning how to listen to that. So
- 53:22Speaker 2: as we go through the stress has gone method. Really
- 53:25Speaker 2: what you're doing is you're releasing old layers of fear
- 53:29Speaker 2: that have been in your body for generations. It's not
- 53:32Speaker 2: our fault, right what our parents did to us, their
- 53:35Speaker 2: parents did to them, and so on and so forth,
- 53:38Speaker 2: going all the way back down the line. And we're
- 53:42Speaker 2: just now having an opportunity to unwind it from our mind,
- 53:46Speaker 2: body and spirit, to come back to the present moment,
- 53:49Speaker 2: so that we could actually open up to our higher
- 53:53Speaker 2: purpose and our destiny and allow the human body to
- 53:57Speaker 2: be what it is. It's a receiver of spirit. This
- 54:01Speaker 2: vessel right here turns back to dust when the spirit
- 54:05Speaker 2: that is us leaves it. So this thing in essence
- 54:08Speaker 2: is a receiver of spirit. And when we surrender our pain,
- 54:12Speaker 2: we surrender our emotions, they unwind from the body, and
- 54:17Speaker 2: then we could actually receive more spirit in the body
- 54:20Speaker 2: and be more present in the moment.
- 54:23Speaker 1: The wisdom of my guest Brett Catter his book The
- 54:27Speaker 1: Stress Is Gone Method. Brett, one more time, please share
- 54:30Speaker 1: with our listeners where then get your books and find
- 54:32Speaker 1: out more about you and your wonderful work.
- 54:35Speaker 2: So Stress Is Gone. Dot Com is the best place
- 54:38Speaker 2: to go. It's the hub for relief, emotional healing, relaxation

- 55:19Speaker 2: well on March twenty eighth, called the Dance of Destiny.
- 55:23Speaker 2: We have five incredible facilitators. They're going to help us
- 55:27Speaker 2: facilitate that event. We have Tony Bergens, the founder of
- 55:29Speaker 2: Journey Dance. We have manus Iteen, the singer and percussionist
- 55:34Speaker 2: from Michael Fronte and Spearhead. We have Laura Catone who's
- 55:39Speaker 2: a sound healer. We have my wife, Stephanie leading chigung
- 55:42Speaker 2: and I'm going to be leading the emotional healing section
- 55:45Speaker 2: of the retreat.
- 55:46Speaker 3: So if any of the stuff that.
- 55:48Speaker 2: We had talked about resonates with you, I encourage you
- 55:52Speaker 2: to come check us out at the retreat. It is
