- 1:31Speaker 1: things down the Woody Show production department. Phones are open
- 1:34Speaker 1: for you at eight seven seven forty four Wooding. You
- 1:37Speaker 1: can hit us up with the text over to two
- 1:39Speaker 1: two nine eight seven got a couple of things for
- 1:44Speaker 1: Sea Bass. The first thing is this explosion that happened
- 1:47Speaker 1: in Tennessee. The name of this talent, it's like one
- 1:50Speaker 1: of those goofy names buck Snort. No, yeah, because I was.
- 1:55Speaker 1: I was reading the article about it happened at the
- 1:58Speaker 1: explosives plant in rural Tennessee or buck Snort bucks Snort
- 2:03Speaker 1: Tennessee plant.
- 2:05Speaker 3: Unfortunately.
- 2:06Speaker 1: Yeah, did you see by the way, I mean, if
- 2:07Speaker 1: this happened on Friday, it could be felt more than
- 2:10Speaker 1: eleven miles away. How far away is this from where
- 2:14Speaker 1: you grew up? Oh, buck Snort is.
- 2:17Speaker 3: An hour and a half outside of Nashville, south West.
- 2:21Speaker 1: I always thought that was a that's a weird name.
- 2:22Speaker 1: But I always thought the Buckhead the neighborhood in Atlanta.
- 2:26Speaker 1: I thought that's a weird name, Buckhead.
- 2:27Speaker 3: That's like the head of a buck that might be
- 2:29Speaker 3: on Let's say you're a wall, because.
- 2:30Speaker 6: You don't need right mount it.
- 2:32Speaker 1: Yeah. The blast is so big that when authorities were
- 2:34Speaker 1: asked to describe the building where the explosion happened, they said,
- 2:37Speaker 1: there's nothing to describe.
- 2:39Speaker 3: It's gone before and after.
- 2:41Speaker 1: Yeah. Yeah, so they're still trying to figure out what happened.
- 2:44Speaker 1: But it was reported that sixteen people were missing after
- 2:47Speaker 1: the explosion. That for three hundred people searched the area.
- 2:49Speaker 1: Authorities said they're just no survivors. So the plant responsible
- 2:53Speaker 1: for making explosives and other devices for the military and
- 2:57Speaker 1: the cause of the explosion again under investigation.
- 2:59Speaker 3: Therein buck snort, Hey, hey, let's not forget nut Bush, Tennessee. Yeah,
- 3:07Speaker 3: shout and nut Bush.
- 3:08Speaker 1: Buck snort, McEwan and Hickman Humphreys County, Okay, Yeah, all
- 3:14Speaker 1: right names yeah, and then the other thing for for
- 3:17Speaker 1: sea mass some bad news something to be aware of
- 3:21Speaker 1: a new study about the popular hair loss drug propisia.
- 3:26Speaker 1: It has been linked to depression and suicidal thoughts. Oh no,
- 3:30Speaker 1: can we do like a quick, just quick mental health
- 3:32Speaker 1: evaluation check? How you doing?
- 3:35Speaker 4: Are you eating?
- 3:35Speaker 1: Your feelings? Doing great? But upiche is u your elves
- 3:40Speaker 1: to something that was noticed here in the studio. We
- 3:44Speaker 1: got the cake on the wrong day because we forgot
- 3:47Speaker 1: that he wasn't coming back in on Monday, you know,
- 3:49Speaker 1: after he went to the Folsome Street fair because his
- 3:51Speaker 1: birthday was over the weekend. So we got the cake
- 3:53Speaker 1: and we sat there, so of course we were fat
- 3:55Speaker 1: and wanted it, so we had some and there was
- 3:57Speaker 1: some left over. And typically he's fine for dipping into
- 4:01Speaker 1: leftover stuff on the wood Show feeding table a lot
- 4:04Speaker 1: of times, unless on this one he said, like, oh,
- 4:06Speaker 1: I don't know, it's you know, grocery store cakes are
- 4:08Speaker 1: always grossed. I decided that I'm off board these cakes.
- 4:11Speaker 1: But it was it was noticed that on that day,
- 4:14Speaker 1: because that was the same day that we had the
- 4:15Speaker 1: apple pie alamode oreos, that he was taking the oreos
- 4:20Speaker 1: and use dipping them into the cake, like using it
- 4:24Speaker 1: to deliver the cake to his man.
- 4:26Speaker 7: I didn't see that, not the cake, but the frosting,
- 4:29Speaker 7: because yeah, I mean right, like like a dunkaroo.
- 4:32Speaker 3: I guess, yeah, hell yeah.
- 4:36Speaker 1: So you're not eating your feelings and this has nothing
- 4:37Speaker 1: to do with depression or suicidal thoughts.
- 4:39Speaker 3: I still would like to request no more grocery store
- 4:41Speaker 3: cakes in the future, medics.
- 4:42Speaker 1: Because the cake part is the worst.
- 4:43Speaker 3: All right, that the one we had for your birthday.
- 4:46Speaker 1: Here was actually really good. The item was good, you
- 4:50Speaker 1: tried the the icing is good, right, it's.
- 4:52Speaker 6: Good, and it's nice enough that he's going to get
- 4:54Speaker 6: the cake.
- 4:54Speaker 3: But if I go, like if I go after work,
- 4:57Speaker 3: the day before to like your cake shop. Then I'll
- 4:59Speaker 3: put it in the fridge and then guess what happens. I'm right,
- 5:02Speaker 3: I'm right at work and it's back at the house.
- 5:04Speaker 1: Well, the hair loss drug Propecia link is denial one
- 5:10Speaker 1: of the facts depression suicidal thoughts. The study found that
- 5:14Speaker 1: these risks and links have been previously under reported, so
- 5:18Speaker 1: the people behind the studies say the marketing should be uh,
- 5:20Speaker 1: you know, put on pause until they can reassess the
- 5:23Speaker 1: safety of the propeche.
- 5:25Speaker 6: People are start taking Propicia that seems like an old
- 5:28Speaker 6: school thing.
- 5:30Speaker 3: One of them is a pill and one of them
- 5:32Speaker 3: is a cream. I don't know which one.
- 5:37Speaker 1: He's the one going over to like Dubai to get
- 5:39Speaker 1: the Yeah turkey, yes.
- 5:42Speaker 8: I think this was the first time that Sebest has
- 5:44Speaker 8: admitted that he doesn't know something.
- 5:46Speaker 6: Oh.
- 5:48Speaker 1: Also interesting.
- 5:49Speaker 7: I also don't know the lyrics to Wicked because I
- 5:51Speaker 7: don't care about it affect my life.
- 5:55Speaker 6: You're announcing that you're looking something out.
- 5:57Speaker 1: So is the pill and it is h I thought
- 6:00Speaker 1: it was the topic. I was confused. When I go
- 6:03Speaker 1: to get a refilled I mean when people go to
- 6:05Speaker 1: get a refilmed.
- 6:06Speaker 3: Yeah, they should because they're getting here, right, Yeah, what's
- 6:13Speaker 3: the problem.
- 6:13Speaker 1: Maybe the depression case problems are solved. Well, they're losing
- 6:16Speaker 1: their Yeah, it's I can hear about the side effects
- 6:18Speaker 1: of different things, you know, weight loss, drugs, like is
- 6:23Speaker 1: it worth being skinny? Yes, that's the Greg to say absolutely.
- 6:26Speaker 6: Rights may be happiness.
- 6:28Speaker 1: When when we were talking about Greg and I, we
- 6:30Speaker 1: had that goal at one point was to like, you know,
- 6:32Speaker 1: let's check out how you can order tape worm. It's
- 6:35Speaker 1: like a tape worm may like, well, the potential side
- 6:37Speaker 1: effect or the potential hazard of doing that is that
- 6:40Speaker 1: the tapeworm can make its way to your brain and
- 6:42Speaker 1: you could die. We're like, yeah, but dude, but yeah, yeah,
- 6:46Speaker 1: the percentage of the chance of that happening and very low.
- 6:50Speaker 1: And then you kill the worms. Correct, you crap it out?
- 6:53Speaker 6: How do you crap it out?
- 6:55Speaker 3: What do you mean?
- 6:55Speaker 1: You crap it out?
- 6:56Speaker 6: But I mean, like, how does it know when? How
- 6:58Speaker 6: how do you keep it in? And how do you
- 7:00Speaker 6: crap it out?
- 7:01Speaker 1: This is where things get to think you would have
- 7:03Speaker 1: to take some sort of medication. Okay, this is where
- 7:06Speaker 1: the details for us get a little foggy. We don't
- 7:08Speaker 1: worry about it's not our concern. Yeah, Or I say,
- 7:12Speaker 1: you know what, I think I ate something bad? Can
- 7:14Speaker 1: you take a look? And then maybe even if they
- 7:15Speaker 1: go down there like a scope and pull it out?
- 7:17Speaker 1: They can they can do that.
- 7:18Speaker 9: But it's kind of like along the lines of when
- 7:20Speaker 9: you lose a ton of weight and they say, yeah,
- 7:22Speaker 9: but it doesn't mean you're healthier. You still have to
- 7:24Speaker 9: be toning.
- 7:25Speaker 1: Yeah, right, exactly me all the time. You well, if
- 7:28Speaker 1: you could be taken zip bound, you got to make
- 7:29Speaker 1: sure you're doing some weight training. Now you do, no know,
- 7:32Speaker 1: how do you look? They recommend It doesn't mean you
- 7:35Speaker 1: have to. Yeah, especially Greg, if muscle weighs more than fat,
- 7:40Speaker 1: why would I want more muscle? I don't want to
- 7:46Speaker 1: tech ye over to two two nine eighty seven. It
- 7:49Speaker 1: is the Woody Show. We'll be right back.
- 7:51Speaker 3: Show What's up? Bodies Show podcast listeners, it's menace right now.
- 7:56Speaker 3: Go to the Woody Show Instagram page and you can

- 8:07Speaker 3: to hang out with me and a bunch of other
- 8:08Speaker 3: Woody Show listeners again, go to the Woody Show Instagram.
- 8:11Speaker 3: Right now enter to win at the Woody Show. And
- 8:14Speaker 3: it's all thanks to tcl A proud partner of the NFL.
- 8:23Speaker 5: HI.
- 8:23Speaker 1: Welcome back everybody.
- 8:25Speaker 10: Yeah.
- 8:25Speaker 1: Now, earlier in the hour, we now an now it's Joe.
- 8:28Speaker 1: We wouldn't do that now. But at one point Greg
- 8:30Speaker 1: and I were thinking about because we heard stories about
- 8:32Speaker 1: people would end up with a tape form and the
- 8:34Speaker 1: tape formers eating all the excess calories, right, they would
- 8:36Speaker 1: lose so much weight for like, yeah, oh well, maybe
- 8:41Speaker 1: there's a you know, a chance that it could go
- 8:43Speaker 1: to your brain, but like the super small percentage chance
- 8:46Speaker 1: shore Yeah, And then Gina asked.
- 8:47Speaker 3: The question like, well, and you're ready to get like,
- 8:49Speaker 3: how would you get rid of it?
- 8:50Speaker 11: Yeah?
- 8:50Speaker 1: Well I don't know, so you'd probably have to go
- 8:53Speaker 1: to the doctor. Right, But Greg has another question about
- 8:56Speaker 1: I don't worry about it. Should he go to the doctor?
- 8:59Speaker 1: I mean, but this has nothing to do with the
- 9:00Speaker 1: tapeworm with his balls. My right ball has been hurting
- 9:06Speaker 1: for like over a month. Yeah, Like I just barely
- 9:11Speaker 1: because I addicted to crossing my legs and I go
- 9:13Speaker 1: to do that motion to put it in. It's like
- 9:16Speaker 1: like I kind of.
- 9:18Speaker 3: Good.
- 9:20Speaker 1: Can you bruise your balls? That's a great Can you
- 9:23Speaker 1: get like a testy bruise? Like if you have some
- 9:25Speaker 1: sort of because like maybe you maybe you strained or
- 9:28Speaker 1: injured and so like by crossing your legs or doing
- 9:31Speaker 1: something like that, you did something.
- 9:33Speaker 9: And I think somewhat recently, like within a few months,
- 9:36Speaker 9: my dog like bashed into it, so there was some
- 9:40Speaker 9: sort of trauma.
- 9:41Speaker 1: But does that last now giving you a mouth, does
- 9:44Speaker 1: he tug on your balls? No, because maybe he got
- 9:48Speaker 1: a little aggressive, he got like really no, I hate that.
- 9:51Speaker 9: I don't know how people do that in adult film,
- 9:54Speaker 9: like pull on it, well more than pull on it
- 9:58Speaker 9: when they do stuff growing like a tea bagging kind
- 10:01Speaker 9: of thing. It's normal to the touch, sadly not bigger.
- 10:05Speaker 9: It's just normal, just dull, not like sharp pain dull.
- 10:08Speaker 9: But it depends like if I if I'm sitting here
- 10:10Speaker 9: just casually and I'm like, oh, I decided to cross
- 10:12Speaker 9: my legs. Sometimes it's like a jolt.
- 10:14Speaker 1: Of Has there been any kind of decrease in sexual activity?
- 10:17Speaker 1: In other words, have you been emptying the chamber? Yes?
- 10:20Speaker 3: Okay, So do you have.
- 10:22Speaker 6: Any dizziness or nausea. I'm looking on GBT.
- 10:26Speaker 3: This is where you go for the really good Well,
- 10:29Speaker 3: you might want to if it's sharp pains.
- 10:30Speaker 7: It says here you might want to get looked at,
- 10:32Speaker 7: just in case there is a what you call the
- 10:34Speaker 7: twisted testing we talked about, talked about that.
- 10:37Speaker 3: Have you ever given Mario as Stevie Wonder?
- 10:40Speaker 1: Yeah, that wonder.
- 10:43Speaker 3: You use your testia like cover the eyes.
- 10:48Speaker 1: Oh, it's also known as the Roman.
- 10:50Speaker 6: War, the Arabian sunglasses, the.
- 10:53Speaker 1: Abi because you put your testi statel over their eyes
- 10:58Speaker 1: they can't see, and then you run something else down
- 11:00Speaker 1: their nose. Roman warholme pit helmet.
- 11:05Speaker 3: This is just this Stevie Wonder.
- 11:06Speaker 1: Daddy, you're missing the scrub brush on the top of
- 11:08Speaker 1: the hell.
- 11:09Speaker 5: You know.
- 11:09Speaker 9: I like doing the picassa where you just use to
- 11:11Speaker 9: use it like a paint brush and just go all over.
- 11:14Speaker 1: Yea, it wouldn't hurt to get a checked, Doug Greg. So,
- 11:17Speaker 1: now there's another person in the studio who has another
- 11:19Speaker 1: medical question.
- 11:21Speaker 6: Yeah, it's me, and I swear it's a real thing.
- 11:24Speaker 6: It's I haven't been able to find anything about it
- 11:26Speaker 6: online except for on Reddit when people are like me too,
- 11:29Speaker 6: like the same thing when diet coke bottles smell weird
- 11:31Speaker 6: and you guys don't don't admit it, do you guys
- 11:34Speaker 6: ever feel like you eat cold cheese and it's fine,
- 11:38Speaker 6: but you eat melted cheese and it reeks havoc on
- 11:41Speaker 6: your stomach. Yes, you like, but why is cold cheese
- 11:46Speaker 6: just cold? Fine? And then when you melt it like
- 11:48Speaker 6: your stomach hurts so bad.
- 11:49Speaker 12: You know, it doesn't makes a difference.
- 11:51Speaker 6: It's a really agree with.
- 11:52Speaker 12: You, thank you, it is.
- 11:53Speaker 8: And it's like for me for a long time. It's
- 11:55Speaker 8: really especially pizza and things like that. Depending on the
- 11:58Speaker 8: type of cheese use on the right, it could be
- 12:00Speaker 8: really badzy.
- 12:03Speaker 6: It's the same.
- 12:04Speaker 12: It's the same thing.
- 12:05Speaker 6: It's this one's cold and one's melted.
- 12:06Speaker 8: What I have mentioned before too with me for some reason,
- 12:09Speaker 8: with desserts, I cannot have a warm cookie out of
- 12:11Speaker 8: the oven. It has to cool and cool down before
- 12:14Speaker 8: I can eat it or I will get sick.
- 12:15Speaker 6: That has to be that has to be linked. Because
- 12:18Speaker 6: I've looked this up a thousand times. There is no
- 12:20Speaker 6: like medical reasoning. But people on Reddit are like me too,
- 12:23Speaker 6: me too, And there's no rhyme or reason for it. No,
- 12:26Speaker 6: we need to we need to look into this further.
- 12:29Speaker 3: By the way, I had a hot cookie and ice
- 12:32Speaker 3: cream the other day that was so freaking good, having nothing.
- 12:40Speaker 6: Any skillets.
- 12:41Speaker 3: I just enjoyed it.
- 12:42Speaker 1: But I just I just don't understand, like why that
- 12:47Speaker 1: would because I would think either you have sensitivity to
- 12:50Speaker 1: have dairy or whatever it is, or you don't what
- 12:54Speaker 1: type of melta cheese you're eating.
- 12:55Speaker 9: If it's mozzarella, maybe it's just the mozzarella that makes
- 12:58Speaker 9: you but it's like.
- 12:59Speaker 6: Grilled cheese cheddar, and it's like, oh god. But if
- 13:02Speaker 6: it's just cold.
- 13:03Speaker 1: Like you have regular cheddar, fine, fine, melted on a
- 13:06Speaker 1: grilled cheese.
- 13:06Speaker 6: My stomach is killing me.
- 13:08Speaker 1: What is that?
- 13:09Speaker 3: It says?
- 13:10Speaker 8: Okay, so I just slipped it up, and I mean
- 13:12Speaker 8: your body's reaction to heat and it could be from
- 13:16Speaker 8: heat intolerance.
- 13:17Speaker 6: Uh that's new.
- 13:19Speaker 1: Yeah, I never heard of that.
- 13:20Speaker 6: I know, I like hot food.
- 13:21Speaker 1: That makes sense.
- 13:23Speaker 6: I think it's just changing the molecular structure. I know
- 13:26Speaker 6: you're the engineer sea bass.
- 13:27Speaker 4: What is it?
- 13:28Speaker 1: You explain it to a sea bass? You know everything,
- 13:29Speaker 1: and go I will say this, it is clearly, Uh,
- 13:33Speaker 1: women be psychosomatic.
- 13:35Speaker 6: Exactly why would I bring this on myself?
- 13:39Speaker 1: All right, So there are some other things doctors warning
- 13:41Speaker 1: you not to ignore these common injuries, and these are
- 13:44Speaker 1: from er doctors. Just don't ignore these things. Get it
- 13:47Speaker 1: checked out. Animal scratches and bites. Sure, really, yeah doctor
- 13:51Speaker 1: for that. Tiny breaks in the skin can easily get
- 13:54Speaker 1: affected as especially the back to here with dogs and
- 13:56Speaker 1: cats and stuff they carry. Yeah, they're puncture wounds that
- 13:59Speaker 1: could happen from up it on something sharp or whatever,
- 14:01Speaker 1: or just a bunch of different things that you could do.
- 14:03Speaker 1: But again, the bacteria on the object. So at least
- 14:06Speaker 1: get it checked. I get'd be a much bigger thing.
- 14:07Speaker 1: Sometimes you have to get Yeah, yeah I got something
- 14:11Speaker 1: on I nicked myself on my hand or something. And
- 14:14Speaker 1: that finally now is going away. It took forever. I'm
- 14:17Speaker 1: like maybe got in fact that I have no idea.
- 14:19Speaker 6: You don't know what you did it on, no idea.
- 14:21Speaker 1: Anytime you hit your head, like hit your head, hit
- 14:23Speaker 1: your head, like get your rung, yeah, because that's like
- 14:26Speaker 1: concussion and nausea and that kind of stuff that could
- 14:28Speaker 1: be what was the intermercial guy Billy Mays, Oh, yeah,
- 14:33Speaker 1: he's the one that he hit his head and then uh,
- 14:35Speaker 1: you know, like for the overhead bag was coming out
- 14:38Speaker 1: of the compartment and like on a plane hit him
- 14:40Speaker 1: and he was like dead later on that night, Bob saget.
- 14:44Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 14:45Speaker 1: Uh, minor car accident injuries, bombs, bruises don't seem that bad.
- 14:49Speaker 1: But the doctors, they say, man, just because that rush
- 14:51Speaker 1: of adrenaline you get after something like that, you might
- 14:53Speaker 1: not realize how bad it is. That's why some people
- 14:55Speaker 1: who really hurt themselves are able to jump up and
- 14:57Speaker 1: like walk away or run away like, I didn't know
- 14:59Speaker 1: I got staffed. I have no idea. Cups, cuts or
- 15:02Speaker 1: scrapes that won't heal, That was right, they say. If
- 15:06Speaker 1: it's not starting the heel after a few days, a
- 15:08Speaker 1: sign of infection, So get that checked out. Scratches or
- 15:11Speaker 1: pokes anything with the eyes and then blistering burns.
- 15:14Speaker 3: Yeah, the first burns you get burned.
- 15:19Speaker 6: That's why my kid calls me a zebra from cooking.
- 15:22Speaker 3: She showed us some of her marks.
- 15:24Speaker 1: She looks like she might be like a if you
- 15:26Speaker 1: didn't know, you woul think it's like some kind of
- 15:27Speaker 1: drug problem or something.
- 15:30Speaker 9: Instead of being a cutter, she's a burner.
- 15:31Speaker 6: I know, I don't mean to. It's literally I know,
- 15:34Speaker 6: and I just reached to get something out of the oven,
- 15:36Speaker 6: and I hit it every time, and I have long
- 15:40Speaker 6: I don't know. I always mean you.

- 16:53Speaker 13: You need to get you know what.
- 16:54Speaker 1: That's it.
- 16:55Speaker 3: I'm calling it ball test the ball balls.
- 17:01Speaker 14: I did this, bald, I did this when Sammy started
- 17:04Speaker 14: on the show, and she proved you all wrong. And
- 17:06Speaker 14: I will have I'll go out on the street and
- 17:08Speaker 14: have serrando strangers. You guys can pick them out. I'll
- 17:11Speaker 14: go with Morgan or somebody. She can just pick people
- 17:13Speaker 14: on the street. Run their hands through my hair, and
- 17:15Speaker 14: there little seat ball different things'll be zero.
- 17:19Speaker 1: It's a National Dessert Day, yeah sea bass. Also it's
- 17:23Speaker 1: National Face your Fear's Day, which is kind of maybe
- 17:25Speaker 1: what you're talking about. Yeah face, You guys could be
- 17:28Speaker 1: proved wrong. Bo. It's also National I Love You Day
- 17:32Speaker 1: and I got it. This day in history, it was today,
- 17:34Speaker 1: in nineteen eighty seven, that eighteen month old Jessica McClure
- 17:39Speaker 1: fell down the well. Didn't you write her? Yeah? I did.
- 17:44Speaker 1: I was I was a kid. I was jes I
- 17:46Speaker 1: was eleven years old, no, not even I was about
- 17:49Speaker 1: to be eleven years old, and I was so I
- 17:52Speaker 1: was so like into that story and I felt so
- 17:54Speaker 1: bad for this baby that was stuck in this well
- 17:56Speaker 1: that after they got her out there, I know, I
- 17:59Speaker 1: may my mom take the store and get a card
- 18:01Speaker 1: and I wrote her like this, you know, you know,
- 18:03Speaker 1: think about how I'm happy that she's safe and Ball
- 18:05Speaker 1: and I and we put it in the mail to
- 18:07Speaker 1: wherever they were sending out the Yeah. Then I got
- 18:12Speaker 1: my head and I never did any of that kind
- 18:14Speaker 1: of crap again.
- 18:16Speaker 4: A card.
- 18:18Speaker 1: That was that was today in nineteen eighty seven. Yeah,
- 18:21Speaker 1: I just saw like a People magazine did like an
- 18:23Speaker 1: update thing about her somewhat recently. I'm like, that's Jessica
- 18:26Speaker 1: mcclaur a mom. Yeah, even though it was so long ago,
- 18:31Speaker 1: was down there again seven hundred days.
- 18:33Speaker 3: I think it's not like.
- 18:36Speaker 1: Give her take a couple of days ago to entertain
- 18:39Speaker 1: her birthday's porn of birthdays coming up here in just
- 18:42Speaker 1: a few minutes. First to Menace has an update. What's
- 18:44Speaker 1: happening in the world of entertainment?
- 18:46Speaker 3: Well, you might see this on social media, but there's
- 18:48Speaker 3: no official word yet in America. But after forty years,
- 18:51Speaker 3: MTV in Europe is gonna cut all their musical channels,
- 18:55Speaker 3: so they're gonna keep one main channel, which is just
- 18:58Speaker 3: going to show reality shows like Catfish and stuff like that.
- 19:01Speaker 1: That's MTV here.
- 19:02Speaker 6: Yeah, it's the same.
- 19:03Speaker 1: M TV still had music channels that were airing in
- 19:05Speaker 1: other places, so they have like a nineties one and
- 19:07Speaker 1: eighties one. Yeah, so there was five different and so like, yeah,
- 19:12Speaker 1: why couldn't we have those here? Yeah, So they're they're
- 19:15Speaker 1: in uh all over the UK, and they're gonna be
- 19:19Speaker 1: gone by the end of the year.
- 19:20Speaker 6: So well they're gonna because nobody's watching them.
- 19:23Speaker 1: Yeah, so many more people watch them if they had
- 19:26Speaker 1: those available here. I feel I think people would watch that.
- 19:29Speaker 6: People just go on YouTube and find the video they
- 19:31Speaker 6: want to see.
- 19:31Speaker 1: For individual videos. But at the same time, I think
- 19:33Speaker 1: like if you had, you know, a channel running they.
- 19:36Speaker 4: Do they do little TV.
- 19:38Speaker 3: Don't they have channel something they do somewhere?
- 19:41Speaker 1: Yeah the eighties because it was on it was on
- 19:43Speaker 1: TV in Mexico at the hotel and it was a
- 19:46Speaker 1: MTV eighties and it ruled right, you know, That's what
- 19:48Speaker 1: I would want. Yeah, a variety.
- 19:50Speaker 3: I kind of just throw that stuff on, you know,
- 19:52Speaker 3: if there's people at the house or whatever. But that's
- 19:55Speaker 3: only when, not when I'm like sitting at home. All right,
- 19:58Speaker 3: talk show hosts and radio host Wendy Williams, I just
- 20:02Speaker 3: want to throw this out here because I want to
- 20:03Speaker 3: ask Greg a question. But apparently she didn't know how
- 20:07Speaker 3: much she was paying for her apartment until she read
- 20:11Speaker 3: New York magazine. And New York Magazine said that she
- 20:13Speaker 3: was paying twenty four thousand dollars a month for her apartment.
- 20:17Speaker 1: She didn't know, and she.
- 20:18Speaker 3: Thought she was paying eighteen thousand. So, you know, there's
- 20:21Speaker 3: a lot of weird stuff that it's going on with her,
- 20:23Speaker 3: Like apparently she has people that are running her life
- 20:26Speaker 3: or whatever. You can read all about it on TMZ.
- 20:29Speaker 3: But my question is, is there any point in life where
- 20:34Speaker 3: Greg will become famous, famous enough, or rich enough where
- 20:37Speaker 3: he would not look at his bank account every single day.
- 20:41Speaker 1: I could win the power ball and I would look
- 20:42Speaker 1: at it every day.
- 20:43Speaker 6: That's how you stay it.
- 20:45Speaker 3: No way, he would not know how much your mortgages
- 20:48Speaker 3: or how much you're rented, would know every last even
- 20:51Speaker 3: if you're a billionaire, Oh yeah, okay, socially yeah probably
- 20:55Speaker 3: more yeah, yeah, so you would know how much you're paying.
- 20:57Speaker 9: Definitely okay, but it's at least she's not getting scammed
- 20:59Speaker 9: if it was the other way around. And she thought
- 21:01Speaker 9: she was paying twenty four but found out her rent
- 21:04Speaker 9: was eighteen and.
- 21:06Speaker 1: Taking it.
- 21:06Speaker 3: Yeah, but no, she found out.
- 21:08Speaker 1: I don't get hew. You don't know how much your
- 21:09Speaker 1: rent it? All right?
- 21:11Speaker 3: There's some I don't know if you care about this,
- 21:13Speaker 3: but there's some rumors floating around that there's gonna be
- 21:15Speaker 3: an Ocean's eleven prequel movie. Is gonna be with Bradley
- 21:19Speaker 3: Cooper and Margot Robbie. Are you excited about that?
- 21:22Speaker 1: Now? I like that franchise.
- 21:24Speaker 3: I don't know see that. You're a big fan of
- 21:27Speaker 3: Oceans eight?
- 21:28Speaker 1: Yeah? I watch every week.
- 21:29Speaker 3: Yeah, you like that?
- 21:30Speaker 1: One? Was the chick one Ocean Ocean? Yeah?
- 21:34Speaker 3: Thank you support women? Yeahs, Why I said it Ocean's
- 21:37Speaker 3: eight Ocean?
- 21:38Speaker 1: Didn't know that was the woman one. I did not
- 21:40Speaker 1: like it.
- 21:41Speaker 7: There have been four modern ones, and of course there
- 21:43Speaker 7: was the original with Sinatra and.
- 21:47Speaker 3: Bradley Cooper was put on the spot on the Red carpet.
- 21:50Speaker 3: Asked about it, and he said he can't. He said
- 21:54Speaker 3: it would be amazing to work with her, but he
- 21:57Speaker 3: didn't like confirm if it was actually happening or not.
- 22:00Speaker 1: We'll see.
- 22:00Speaker 3: Maybe they're just testing the waters.
- 22:01Speaker 1: That's a safe bet they'll do it.
- 22:03Speaker 3: All right, How about this? Would you like to be
- 22:04Speaker 3: this guy? See his ex husband. He's asking for two
- 22:07Speaker 3: hundred and fifty thousand dollars monthly to keep on the foot,
- 22:10Speaker 3: to keep up with his upper class lifestyle when he
- 22:15Speaker 3: was married with Sia. He's also requesting this is all
- 22:18Speaker 3: allegedly that he's requesting three hundred thousand dollars to cover
- 22:21Speaker 3: his attorney's fees and two hundred thousand dollars for his
- 22:25Speaker 3: accounting fees.
- 22:26Speaker 1: All right, I'll tell you what. Here's the thing. I'm
- 22:27Speaker 1: all for getting rid of the entire thing, the whole alimony.
- 22:30Speaker 1: The idea of alimony. Child support is different the idea
- 22:33Speaker 1: of alimony. Let's get rid of it altogether. But if
- 22:36Speaker 1: we're not, you're gonna make an argument to keep it
- 22:38Speaker 1: in any way, shape or form. I say, give it
- 22:40Speaker 1: to him. Yeah, to them, all's fair. Right, But now
- 22:46Speaker 1: it's on the other foot, right.
- 22:47Speaker 6: Well, that's fine. A certain amount is fine, But I
- 22:49Speaker 6: don't care. If you're a man, woman doesn't matter.
- 22:51Speaker 4: You have to keep me.
- 22:52Speaker 6: In the style to which I've grown a customsmah.
- 22:55Speaker 1: And also I agree with you that, but I think
- 22:57Speaker 1: the whole idea that you're paying somebody just because for
- 23:00Speaker 1: no other reason, not kids kids again different, different, but
- 23:04Speaker 1: just because we used to be in a relationship I'm
- 23:06Speaker 1: supposed to.
- 23:07Speaker 9: So for day one there should be no alimony or
- 23:09Speaker 9: like after an X amount of time no alma.
- 23:11Speaker 1: I think there should be.
- 23:12Speaker 6: And like we've talked about in the past, the whole
- 23:14Speaker 6: thing is like if a woman you know, stayed at
- 23:16Speaker 6: home and the man worked and now she's s ol Basically.
- 23:19Speaker 8: Yeah, you decided upon in your relationship.
- 23:21Speaker 6: But staying rich Nah.
- 23:23Speaker 3: I do have one more tibbet he was given uh
- 23:26Speaker 3: portion nine eleven and four other cars while they were together. Also,
- 23:31Speaker 3: I do have an argument for him. I do love ce,
- 23:33Speaker 3: so he gets no money. But I do have an argument.
- 23:37Speaker 3: She is best friends with Kathy Griffin, so should this
- 23:40Speaker 3: be some money for having to hang out? Yeah? So
- 23:45Speaker 3: what do you think about that?
- 23:46Speaker 1: And I mean it makes me question seea the same thing.
- 23:50Speaker 1: I've always thought she was cool and I'm just gonna
- 23:54Speaker 1: forget the fact I heard that she's friends with Kathy.
- 23:57Speaker 1: Ye for your birthdays and Corno birthday.
- 24:02Speaker 15: Both Showday, Shiver Day.

- 31:22Speaker 1: but what about some bands and maybe I haven't got

- 37:01Speaker 1: Yea, I know We're gonna take a quick break. We'll
- 37:03Speaker 1: come back. Gina's got the trending news headlines. Next, hang
- 37:06Speaker 1: on the letty share returns in a second. This is
- 37:12Speaker 1: now Its bad like a base and let's get caught
- 37:17Speaker 1: up on all the things that we should know about
- 37:19Speaker 1: trending news headlines with Gina grad Well.
- 37:22Speaker 6: MLB's League Championship Series rolled on last night, and in
- 37:25Speaker 6: the NLCS, the Dodgers beat the Brewers two to one
- 37:28Speaker 6: in Milwaukee to take Game one. Oh my god, this
- 37:31Speaker 6: game was crazy. LA led two to nothing going into
- 37:33Speaker 6: the ninth and their bullpen almost gave it away before
- 37:36Speaker 6: Blake train and shut things down with the bases loaded.
- 37:39Speaker 6: Game two is tonight in the Alcs. The Mariners crush
- 37:44Speaker 6: the Blue Jays ten to three in Toronto with a
- 37:46Speaker 6: little help from Oh Nothing three home runs. Seattle now
- 37:49Speaker 6: leads the series two to nothing and is just two
- 37:52Speaker 6: wins away from its first ever World Series as the
- 37:55Speaker 6: series shifts to Seattle for Game three. Well nearly two
- 37:58Speaker 6: thousand Palestinians were least from Israeli prisons yesterday as part
- 38:02Speaker 6: of a Gaza ceasefire deal. This led to big celebrations
- 38:05Speaker 6: across Gaza and the West Bank. Most of the people
- 38:08Speaker 6: freed had been held since the war began in October
- 38:11Speaker 6: twenty twenty three, while others were serving longer sentences for
- 38:14Speaker 6: violent crimes. The release included members of Hamas and other factions. Meanwhile,
- 38:20Speaker 6: President Trump arrived in Egypt yesterday for a peace summit.
- 38:23Speaker 6: During the summit, Trump, along with twenty other world leaders,
- 38:26Speaker 6: signed a Gaza ceasefire deal, which lays out the peace plan.
- 38:30Speaker 6: And while the agreement looks good, there are still a
- 38:32Speaker 6: lot of questions, so you know, we'll stand by see
- 38:35Speaker 6: how that goes. Week six of the NFL wrapped up
- 38:38Speaker 6: with two Monday night games. In the first, the Falcon
- 38:41Speaker 6: Surprise the Bills with a twenty four to fourteen win.
- 38:44Speaker 1: All Right, so for my fellow football fans, this is
- 38:47Speaker 1: a crazy season. It's very strange to me. There just
- 38:50Speaker 1: isn't a dominant runaway favorite. Yeah, right, which is good.
- 38:54Speaker 1: I mean, I think that's cool because a lot of
- 38:57Speaker 1: times it's just like, oh, well, everybody knows it's going
- 38:59Speaker 1: to be this team in this day. In the end,
- 39:00Speaker 1: it's gonna be one of these two teams this year.
- 39:03Speaker 1: I have no idea. The Chiefs are struggling. Yeah, the
- 39:06Speaker 1: Bills are struggling. You know, the Eagles have fallen apart,
- 39:09Speaker 1: like the last couple of weeks. It's it's it's a
- 39:12Speaker 1: it's a It's already a really weird season.
- 39:16Speaker 3: It was pretty fun though, texting last night that the
- 39:19Speaker 3: Falcons beat the Bills to all of our hardcore Bills people,
- 39:23Speaker 3: because who sees that coming?
- 39:25Speaker 1: Yeah, well, I mean also speaking of injuries, I mean,
- 39:28Speaker 1: the Bills have have a ton of injuries too. I
- 39:30Speaker 1: just said, there's not like right now as things stand,
- 39:33Speaker 1: who knows.
- 39:33Speaker 6: Yeah, like we go with the Chiefs and Jags beat
- 39:37Speaker 6: the Chiefs.
- 39:38Speaker 12: That was like the craziest thing I'd ever seen it.
- 39:40Speaker 6: I never thought that would nothing.
- 39:41Speaker 3: Yeah, well again the Falcons beat the Bills.
- 39:44Speaker 1: I think the only team that we can really say, oh, okay,
- 39:46Speaker 1: the Jets. They just started what they always own, Yeah,
- 39:48Speaker 1: you know, winless.
- 39:49Speaker 6: In the second day, the Bears entered out the Commanders
- 39:52Speaker 6: twenty five to twenty four, playing.
- 39:54Speaker 1: Expected more of the Commanders this season, winning.
- 39:56Speaker 6: At that last second field goal. Crazy stuff And from
- 40:00Speaker 6: the Woody showfollow up dot com news desk, the punishment
- 40:04Speaker 6: has come down for that fight that happened after the
- 40:06Speaker 6: Lions Chiefs game Sunday night.
- 40:07Speaker 1: That was quick, yep.
- 40:08Speaker 6: The NFL announced yesterday that Lions defensive back Brian Branch
- 40:12Speaker 6: is going to survey one game suspension. In a letter
- 40:15Speaker 6: to Branch, the NFL said this conduct reflected poorly on
- 40:18Speaker 6: the NFL and has no place in our game. The
- 40:21Speaker 6: suspension means that Branch is going to miss the team's
- 40:23Speaker 6: upcoming Monday night matchup against the Bucks, which is a
- 40:25Speaker 6: huge blow for the Lions since the teams are only
- 40:28Speaker 6: separated by one game in the NFC. But don't worry,
- 40:30Speaker 6: Branch is going to peel the suspension.
- 40:32Speaker 1: Yeah. They also the Titans fired their coach. Oh really,
- 40:36Speaker 1: six games? Six games? Into second season, and you know
- 40:40Speaker 1: that's that's a thing I think in a lot of
- 40:42Speaker 1: businesses and industries now, people are giving no time for anything. Yeah,
- 40:46Speaker 1: I don't think that's necessarily fair. Brian Callahan was the
- 40:49Speaker 1: head coach for the Titans. You could come in and
- 40:51Speaker 1: you're inheriting the last administrations, the roster of players and problems,
- 40:57Speaker 1: and you got to try to turn that stuff around.
- 40:58Speaker 1: That can't be done in one season. Now. They suck
- 41:02Speaker 1: hard so far this year, but even like six games
- 41:06Speaker 1: into this season, like, at least let the guy finish it.
- 41:08Speaker 6: Out yet iron out the Kings.
- 41:10Speaker 1: Yeah, I'm surprised the Dolphins haven't fired their coach yet.
- 41:13Speaker 1: But man, give them a little bit more time. I
- 41:14Speaker 1: just see there's a show that just got let go
- 41:18Speaker 1: last week in radio, and they're a good show. They're
- 41:21Speaker 1: a good team. They moved to a new city and
- 41:23Speaker 1: it's tough. It takes a long time. I know a
- 41:27Speaker 1: thing or two about this. It's it's tough when you
- 41:30Speaker 1: go into a new city and nobody knows who you are,
- 41:32Speaker 1: or you're typically going onto a station that the reason
- 41:34Speaker 1: they have a new show is because they need help
- 41:37Speaker 1: not doing well. Yeah, like so it's not on maybe
- 41:39Speaker 1: a lot of that station, maybe not on a lot
- 41:40Speaker 1: of people's radar, or at least not in that time
- 41:42Speaker 1: of the day. And so it takes a while, and
- 41:44Speaker 1: nobody wants to spend any money on marketing or doing anything,
- 41:46Speaker 1: so it takes a long time. And they gave him,
- 41:50Speaker 1: I want to say, eleven months, not even a full year.
- 41:54Speaker 1: It should give two years minimum. I know, it sounds like, oh,
- 41:57Speaker 1: it's a long time. It's not a long time when
- 41:59Speaker 1: you're trying to build something like that. Yeah, it's never
- 42:01Speaker 1: heard of you. Yeah, So yeah, I feel really bad
- 42:04Speaker 1: for them. But they're gonna be fine because they're a
- 42:06Speaker 1: good show and they'll they'll get picked up somewhere somewhere else.
- 42:09Speaker 1: But just that that lack of patience. Yeah, And hear
- 42:12Speaker 1: about it from people in other industries too, like they
- 42:14Speaker 1: just started a job and within you know, six months,
- 42:17Speaker 1: like their bosses breathing down their neck on well, why
- 42:19Speaker 1: aren't you running the place yet? Why I just started
- 42:22Speaker 1: And everybody's looked now because everybod's saving money so much
- 42:25Speaker 1: and looking to you know, just cut cut, cut, yeah,
- 42:28Speaker 1: both hands. Everything is like all right, haye, person who's
- 42:31Speaker 1: never done this before. Here's some toothpicks, build a house.
- 42:34Speaker 1: What do you mean in six months, you haven't tripled
- 42:37Speaker 1: tripled the revenue.
- 42:39Speaker 6: The coffee machine.
- 42:41Speaker 3: Second, yeah, this happens to us. We'll be like three
- 42:44Speaker 3: weeks in and they go, we need to take a
- 42:45Speaker 3: look at this. Yeah, three weeks.
- 42:48Speaker 1: Absolutely, they'll give us three weeks.
- 42:50Speaker 6: That's insane. Well, a bunch of major US airports like Vegas, Portland, Seattle, Charlotte,
- 42:55Speaker 6: New York, they're all refusing to play a TSA video
- 42:57Speaker 6: with Homeland Security Secretary Christie Know. I'm blaming Democrats for
- 43:01Speaker 6: the government shutdown the running.
- 43:03Speaker 1: Of the airport.
- 43:03Speaker 6: Yeah, well at security, right, Yeah, Well, the cliffs were
- 43:07Speaker 6: supposed to air in security lines, like you said, but airport.
- 43:10Speaker 1: Packed type commercials. Yeah, well they kind of at the airport.
- 43:14Speaker 9: At the airport, it's for it's for like these preliminary
- 43:17Speaker 9: as you're in line, Yeah, exactly.
- 43:20Speaker 6: Well, it crosses the line and when their job is
- 43:22Speaker 6: to stay neutral and just inform the public. And many
- 43:25Speaker 6: pointed to laws like the Hatch Act, which I'd never
- 43:27Speaker 6: heard of, which bans using government resources for political messages.
- 43:31Speaker 6: So so far, no airport's agreeing to run this.
- 43:33Speaker 3: Yeah, I mean, I agree that people fighting over political.
- 43:36Speaker 6: Stuff get them all jagged up before they get.
- 43:39Speaker 11: On a plane.
- 43:39Speaker 1: Well, it's like you don't expect to see ads in
- 43:42Speaker 1: certain places, you know, certain certain things. It just it's
- 43:46Speaker 1: an inappropriate use of that, right, yeah, right before they
- 43:51Speaker 1: get on a player, because that's what we need more of.
- 43:53Speaker 6: And speaking of the shutdown, the government is now on
- 43:55Speaker 6: day fourteen and it's not looking like it's going to
- 43:57Speaker 6: end anytime soon. House Speaker Mike Johnson said he thinks
- 44:00Speaker 6: the shutdown will be the longest in history, and so
- 44:03Speaker 6: that he won't negotiate with Democrats until they hit pause
- 44:06Speaker 6: on their healthcare demands. The shutdown has already closed the
- 44:10Speaker 6: Smithsonian Museum's other landmarks, left airports with some big flight disruptions.
- 44:14Speaker 6: So I don't know.
- 44:15Speaker 1: No end did say, well, they don't care about the
- 44:17Speaker 1: people at all. No, this is this is just all
- 44:20Speaker 1: about And somebody made a good comparison on the text
- 44:23Speaker 1: yesterday saying that, you know, people treat politics now like
- 44:26Speaker 1: a sports team, like they're crazy over the top fandom.
- 44:30Speaker 1: You know, that blind loyalty, the high republican, the homer
- 44:34Speaker 1: ism that goes along with sports like now people have
- 44:38Speaker 1: applied that to politics. But these people, it doesn't matter
- 44:41Speaker 1: what side, none of them care about the people at all.
- 44:45Speaker 6: And ultimately, if they're fighting and then they all go
- 44:47Speaker 6: on vacation, they're on the same side against us.
- 44:50Speaker 12: That's what I was thinking. Can they just like prolong
- 44:52Speaker 12: this until Christmas breaks off?
- 44:54Speaker 6: The rest of the year, they're on the same side.
- 44:57Speaker 6: It's like divorce lawyers. They're on the same side.
- 45:00Speaker 1: It's gonna be interesting to see what makes what either
- 45:03Speaker 1: side break because there's gonna be something that comes up,
- 45:06Speaker 1: something that happens, and they're gonna go, all right, guys,
- 45:09Speaker 1: we just have to get this done. Like there's gonna
- 45:10Speaker 1: be some type of pressure applied somewhere. I just wonder
- 45:14Speaker 1: what that's gonna be and how long that'll that'll take
- 45:16Speaker 1: because they're they're both dug in and they're not, but
- 45:18Speaker 1: they're not gonna.
- 45:19Speaker 3: You make a good point, like these people do not
- 45:21Speaker 3: care about you at all at all, and you ride
- 45:24Speaker 3: that hard for things that, yeah, that you disrupt your
- 45:27Speaker 3: own life and cause problems your.
- 45:30Speaker 1: Life your but no, because when you watch you ever
- 45:35Speaker 1: see like a friend of yours and they're like so
- 45:37Speaker 1: head over heels over somebody and this person is just
- 45:40Speaker 1: using and abusing and just taking them for whatever they
- 45:43Speaker 1: got when the time. Yeah, and you try to tell
- 45:46Speaker 1: them like dude, like she sucks somebody doing. She doesn't
- 45:49Speaker 1: care about you once the last time she did anything
- 45:51Speaker 1: or asked you how your day? Wash And you're going
- 45:54Speaker 1: above and beyond. You're putting your coat down over puddles like, yeah,
- 45:59Speaker 1: you look so and that's your employees.
- 46:02Speaker 3: Thirsty bitch, Yeah, mess up own life.
- 46:04Speaker 1: Yeah, stop being a thirsty bitch for politicians.
- 46:07Speaker 12: You rail your whole liar.
- 46:08Speaker 6: Exactly. Well, the Mega Million's jackpot has climbed to six
- 46:12Speaker 6: hundred million dollars, which puts it close to breaking into
- 46:15Speaker 6: the top ten biggest prizes in the game's history.
- 46:17Speaker 1: It's almost big enough for Greg to care almost exactly,
- 46:20Speaker 1: not quite, but every jackpot is, oh, it's the biggest one.
- 46:22Speaker 6: Well, this is this is about to crack it because
- 46:24Speaker 6: it would technically need to top six hundred and forty
- 46:26Speaker 6: eight million to make that list, and the last time
- 46:28Speaker 6: that happened was twenty thirteen. So far this year, there
- 46:31Speaker 6: have been four Mega Million's winners, with the most recent
- 46:34Speaker 6: one in June snagging Well, you're not going to be impressed.
- 46:37Speaker 6: Only three hundred and forty eight million. The biggest game,
- 46:41Speaker 6: the biggest one in the game's history. That was August eighth,
- 46:44Speaker 6: twenty twenty three, in Florida, and that was for one
- 46:48Speaker 6: point six billion dollars.
- 46:50Speaker 1: Yeah, so the power Ball was the like always bigger
- 46:54Speaker 1: right now, mega millions, massive mega millions is still really
- 46:57Speaker 1: good money. But the power it still the million. You
- 47:00Speaker 1: hear those numbers, you go, I feel like we've heard
- 47:02Speaker 1: about bigger. But these are two different games.
- 47:04Speaker 6: Right exactly. And this sounds like somebody Greg would never
- 47:08Speaker 6: speak to because talk about no payoff. This chick who
- 47:11Speaker 6: was charged with stealing a car in Oregon maybe off
- 47:13Speaker 6: the hook after the owner agreed to drop the charges
- 47:16Speaker 6: in exchange for menace a.
- 47:19Speaker 3: Baja Blast Oh heck, yeah, the most.
- 47:23Speaker 6: Delicious drink ever. Cops arrested this woman last year after
- 47:26Speaker 6: they spotted the stolen car speeding out of a parking
- 47:28Speaker 6: lot and she was driving, of course, arrested charge with
- 47:31Speaker 6: unauthorized use and possession of a stolen vehicle, which are
- 47:34Speaker 6: both felonies in Oregon. By the way, the car's owner,
- 47:37Speaker 6: though joke that the car was only worth one Baha
- 47:40Speaker 6: Blast just like his bumper sticker says, and kept his
- 47:44Speaker 6: word by settling for the drink instead of pressing charges.
- 47:48Speaker 6: But no, but it is up to the judge to
- 47:52Speaker 6: decide whether to officially dismiss the case.
- 47:56Speaker 9: Probably not. I've always wondered that though. When people say
- 47:59Speaker 9: I'm going to press charges.
- 48:01Speaker 6: To them, I mean, at that point you're the witness,
- 48:04Speaker 6: and then the DA decides.
- 48:05Speaker 1: So yeah, that's the way that works. I have the
- 48:07Speaker 1: same question.
- 48:08Speaker 3: I watch a lot of and then the course they
- 48:11Speaker 3: can continue or not.
- 48:13Speaker 1: I thought it was up to the d A. No,
- 48:14Speaker 1: not the person.
- 48:15Speaker 6: I mean, I doesn't go either way, Like, will you
- 48:17Speaker 6: like to press charges ma'am?
- 48:18Speaker 1: No, well we will, right, Yeah. But I guess if
- 48:21Speaker 1: if they witnessed it, that might be one thing. Maybe
- 48:23Speaker 1: you know, but if if if you were the only
- 48:25Speaker 1: witness as the victim, and they would have to ask you,
- 48:28Speaker 1: because if they don't have you, what case to.
- 48:30Speaker 6: The right like domestic violence?
- 48:32Speaker 9: That's what I was gonna say. If you watch Cops
- 48:34Speaker 9: the woman's away, I don't want.
- 48:38Speaker 11: Yeah.
- 48:40Speaker 3: Also shout out to Baja Blast zero.
- 48:43Speaker 6: Oh yeah, damn, I wish.
- 48:44Speaker 3: I'd know about that.
- 48:45Speaker 12: Don't they have a frozen one now too.
- 48:47Speaker 17: Obviously anything can be frozen. And that's what's going on,
- 48:54Speaker 17: including your eggs just in case expensive very I'm selling them.
- 49:00Speaker 3: You can make a lot.
- 49:01Speaker 6: I was gonna say, yeah, I have to hard when
- 49:04Speaker 6: you were younger. Who am I.
- 49:09Speaker 1: Woody shop.
- 49:11Speaker 4: And we are back.
- 49:13Speaker 1: Phones are open eight seven seven forty four. Woodie. You
- 49:18Speaker 1: can hit us up with a text. Send your text
- 49:21Speaker 1: over to two to nine eight seven. This one in Tennessee.
- 49:25Speaker 1: Her name is Shelby Martin. She gave birth to a
- 49:29Speaker 1: baby boy who weighed almost thirteen pounds bowling ball, breaking
- 49:36Speaker 1: the hospital's record for the biggest baby born there in
- 49:39Speaker 1: three years now.
- 49:42Speaker 3: Her son.
- 49:44Speaker 1: Was born at twelve pounds fourteen ouncers. Okay, and I'm
- 49:47Speaker 1: looking through Okay, good ce section, dude.
- 49:52Speaker 6: Clown hole.
- 49:54Speaker 1: I don't, I don't. I don't think you'd be able
- 49:57Speaker 1: to do that, right, like a thirteen pack?
- 49:59Speaker 3: Could you?
- 50:00Speaker 12: I think you can't.
- 50:00Speaker 6: I don't.
- 50:01Speaker 9: I mean the old time days before cesareans.
- 50:03Speaker 3: Isn't that when the mama just die?
- 50:04Speaker 1: Right?
- 50:04Speaker 5: I mean.
- 50:06Speaker 1: It's like when you get when you have a when
- 50:09Speaker 1: you have a pooh that can't make it through. Yeah,
- 50:11Speaker 1: you know you got to take something to soften it up.
- 50:13Speaker 12: And guys, sorry, other topic. I tried that thing we
- 50:17Speaker 12: talked about.
- 50:17Speaker 1: Oh you pushed Yeah, okay, well we'll come back to that.
- 50:20Speaker 4: Sorry.
- 50:21Speaker 1: That's a good note, just good right, bookmark that. Yeah,
- 50:26Speaker 1: and then I guess after the birth the baby had
- 50:29Speaker 1: to spend a little time in the nick you because
- 50:32Speaker 1: the such a big kid. I mean, I say, to
- 50:35Speaker 1: induce labor earlier, deliver him earlier, because because he's that big,
- 50:40Speaker 1: that can create a lot of different problems over baby.
- 50:43Speaker 1: The only baby born with the driver's license. Yeah, I
- 50:46Speaker 1: remember that old like Will Ferrell skit like said, well
- 50:49Speaker 1: he was a baby.
- 50:50Speaker 6: Yeah, I forgot about that.
- 50:53Speaker 9: There's always that thirteen pounds age old debate. What hurts
- 50:56Speaker 9: more giving birth or getting kicked.
- 50:58Speaker 1: In the balls?
- 50:58Speaker 12: Yeah, oh that's so dumb.
- 51:00Speaker 9: Woe birth, right, But the argument is a woman wants
- 51:04Speaker 9: to have more kids, No dude wants to get kicked again.
- 51:07Speaker 6: But if you had a baby, you wouldn't.
- 51:09Speaker 1: But also also like that area and whatever you're as,
- 51:13Speaker 1: you're built for that, you're not built to be kicked
- 51:15Speaker 1: in the nuts.
- 51:18Speaker 4: It wasn't.
- 51:19Speaker 1: That's an off label use. But they also say it's
- 51:22Speaker 1: kidney stones. It's like equals.
- 51:24Speaker 6: Yeah, I could little barbed wire, yeah, because.
- 51:27Speaker 1: That's not supposed to happen either.
- 51:28Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 51:29Speaker 8: They say that childbirth is the only pain that you forget.
- 51:32Speaker 8: So it's very painful, but you're built to sort of
- 51:35Speaker 8: forget the pain because you have the baby.
- 51:37Speaker 1: Now, question for the ladies in the room, none of
- 51:40Speaker 1: which you have had a baby. All right, So if
- 51:43Speaker 1: you just straight up had a choice, would you rather
- 51:47Speaker 1: push it out through the you know, or sea section?
- 51:51Speaker 4: Oh?
- 51:52Speaker 3: Push it out?
- 51:53Speaker 6: But for sure, I think push it out because I'm
- 51:55Speaker 6: afraid of sea sections, Like, yeah, surge right open, they
- 51:59Speaker 6: take your inside out.
- 52:02Speaker 1: But women have like cosmetic procedure procedures all day. I guess.
- 52:05Speaker 1: If that's the case, you can just get like a
- 52:06Speaker 1: vagina plasty.
- 52:07Speaker 6: Yeah, they just.
- 52:07Speaker 3: Stitch it back up.
- 52:08Speaker 12: Yeah, but I don't even have to get to that point. Yeah,
- 52:11Speaker 12: just take it out my stuff.
- 52:12Speaker 1: You've ever seen a.
- 52:13Speaker 4: Video of it?
- 52:14Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 52:14Speaker 16: I have.
- 52:14Speaker 9: It's like something out of Alien.
- 52:16Speaker 3: It's cool, get through to get to that baby, you know.
- 52:21Speaker 1: All right, So back to Morgan's thing real quick. Oh yeah,
- 52:24Speaker 1: so we had a whole thing, and was it a
- 52:28Speaker 1: woman was sharing her her tip.
- 52:31Speaker 4: Yeah, it was.
- 52:31Speaker 6: It was about having extreme constipations.
- 52:34Speaker 3: Okay, soxtreme like.
- 52:35Speaker 1: Prairie dog in that's right. So this woman who was
- 52:38Speaker 1: super constipated, she said that, you know, she had tried
- 52:40Speaker 1: all kinds of things and the thing that worked for
- 52:42Speaker 1: her was to insert her thumb not into her back door,
- 52:48Speaker 1: but into her vagina and kind of go in and
- 52:51Speaker 1: then push down on the shared wall with with your
- 52:55Speaker 1: butthole and use that to kind of push it out.
- 52:59Speaker 1: And she said that worked, and so she was wondering
- 53:01Speaker 1: if other women did because she's told other people and
- 53:03Speaker 1: they go, oh, I've never never and she's like, oh,
- 53:04Speaker 1: it works great. And so there were women texting inst
- 53:07Speaker 1: oh yeah, I've done that before. It absolutely works, or
- 53:10Speaker 1: people I've never tried that, but dude, I suffer with
- 53:12Speaker 1: this so much. I would be willing to try it.
- 53:14Speaker 1: Morgan said she'd be willing to try, and I guess
- 53:16Speaker 1: she did.
- 53:16Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 53:17Speaker 12: I found myself in that position a couple of weeks,
- 53:19Speaker 12: like a week or so ago.
- 53:21Speaker 1: And uh and it works great. Yeah.
- 53:26Speaker 12: It's honestly, like, not to be dramatic, it was a
- 53:29Speaker 12: life changing moment because of all the pain and you know.
- 53:32Speaker 1: Try hard, do you have to push down?
- 53:34Speaker 12: Is it just that hard at all?
- 53:35Speaker 6: You just give a little, you know, a little tap.
- 53:37Speaker 12: Well, it depends you know what you're working with. But
- 53:39Speaker 12: I just, you know, tap that thing and you put
- 53:41Speaker 12: your things so much better.
- 53:42Speaker 6: You put your finger up there and then you just push.
- 53:44Speaker 11: Yeah.
- 53:45Speaker 12: Oh okay, you don't even have to know.
- 53:47Speaker 3: I would imagine the thumb just because the angle.
- 53:49Speaker 1: The angle. Yeah, it's really weird. Is it while you're
- 53:51Speaker 1: sitting on the toilet?
- 53:52Speaker 12: Oh yeah for sure.
- 53:53Speaker 3: Okay, well I don't know like it does it feel hard?
- 53:57Speaker 12: Yes, and it's so weird, you know, you.
- 53:59Speaker 8: Kind of try I will like an instant drop when yes, Wow,
- 54:04Speaker 8: that's the dream.
- 54:04Speaker 12: It's like so constipated that you're welcome everybody.
- 54:08Speaker 1: You're welcome, organ you have long thumbnails.
- 54:11Speaker 6: Yeah, she could really get in there, but spit on
- 54:14Speaker 6: it first.
- 54:14Speaker 1: Out of sheer ignorance? Does that her?
- 54:16Speaker 11: No?
- 54:17Speaker 12: Really, But that's the thing. I didn't have to like
- 54:19Speaker 12: go all the way up and she's.
- 54:20Speaker 1: Not digging in with her nails bare. No, I don't
- 54:23Speaker 1: know what it feels like.
- 54:24Speaker 3: The fleshy part is on the on the bottom side, so.
- 54:27Speaker 1: I get it. But putting it in you have a
- 54:30Speaker 1: long nail.
- 54:31Speaker 6: Yeah, but that all the time.
- 54:34Speaker 1: The time we got to figure the holes bigger than
- 54:36Speaker 1: the thumb. So it's not like you you know, I
- 54:39Speaker 1: get it logistically.
- 54:40Speaker 3: But you've never been up in your Managina Grant, how
- 54:44Speaker 3: would I go?
- 54:46Speaker 1: Yeah? So so Greg, you know like yeah, yeah, yeah,
- 54:50Speaker 1: the nail doesn't catch it. But it it's like a bubble.
- 54:53Speaker 1: Then that's more of a I get what you're saying,
- 54:55Speaker 1: and you do need to be valid question. No, it is,
- 54:58Speaker 1: it is.
- 54:59Speaker 3: I think you need to be see where it wouldn't be.
- 55:01Speaker 12: But I have the perfect link. They're not too long.
- 55:03Speaker 3: Yeah, but it worked.
- 55:04Speaker 6: Shout out to that texter because that wasn't work.

- 1:01:46Speaker 18: The Dodgers totally effed up the base running on that play.
- 1:01:49Speaker 18: Here is Will Smith, who was on second base during
- 1:01:52Speaker 18: that play.
- 1:01:52Speaker 1: Yeah, I didn't see it hit the wall. I thought
- 1:01:54Speaker 1: he kin brought it back in and caught it betther

- 1:02:09Speaker 18: domination of the Brewers.
- 1:02:11Speaker 3: Coach Snell and rings him up.
- 1:02:15Speaker 1: Blake Snell drops a big curve.
- 1:02:18Speaker 18: Dodgers were up to nothing in the ninth Sasaki didn't
- 1:02:20Speaker 18: have his stuff, but luckily Blake Trending came in and
- 1:02:23Speaker 18: shut the door on the Brewers.
- 1:02:24Speaker 3: Ranged strike cell swinging.
- 1:02:26Speaker 1: That's so winning for LA.
- 1:02:28Speaker 18: After all that craziness, the Dodgers won. They're up one
- 1:02:31Speaker 18: nothing in the series. Game two is tonight. It's a

- 1:03:59Speaker 1: as hosted by The Woody Show. It is happening at
- 1:04:02Speaker 1: the Forum in Los Angeles on Saturday, January seventeenth. So
- 1:04:06Speaker 1: we'll get past all the holiday stuff and then first
- 1:04:08Speaker 1: thing we do the entire year is Alter Ego. Now,
- 1:04:11Speaker 1: it's safe to say Sublime is on the lineup, so
- 1:04:14Speaker 1: you guys are.
- 1:04:15Speaker 19: There, we're gonna do it. We're gonna we're gonna play
- 1:04:17Speaker 19: rock and roll music.
- 1:04:18Speaker 1: So there's there's another band on the line called Almost Monday,
- 1:04:20Speaker 1: which were playing Yeah, so we've heard their songs, but
- 1:04:27Speaker 1: I have not met them yet, so they're cool.
- 1:04:28Speaker 4: We met them.
- 1:04:29Speaker 19: Briefly at a where were we playing Seattle.
- 1:04:31Speaker 3: Yeah, we're playing in Seattle a couple of weeks ago,
- 1:04:33Speaker 3: and we love that big.
- 1:04:34Speaker 19: Radio song it's been blasting around and they were very
- 1:04:41Speaker 19: nice and seem really passionate dudes. And the show they
- 1:04:44Speaker 19: put on up in Seattle that they played all right
- 1:04:46Speaker 19: before we did, it was just electric.
- 1:04:48Speaker 4: It was really great.
- 1:04:49Speaker 1: Yeah, it was awesome, all right. So Sublime Almost Monday,
- 1:04:52Speaker 1: gg Perez. Are you familiar with gg Perez? Okay, so
- 1:04:55Speaker 1: that that's that's it. That's that's that's a new friend.
- 1:04:58Speaker 1: Miles Smith, who's had a huge has had a huge,
- 1:05:01Speaker 1: huge year stargazing. I know you've heard this song.
- 1:05:04Speaker 3: It's it's been every year.
- 1:05:17Speaker 1: You just played. I was watching on a sporting but
- 1:05:20Speaker 1: they hadn't play like the halftime. Yeah, so anyway, this
- 1:05:23Speaker 1: was a yeah, this would be okay, So this is
- 1:05:25Speaker 1: another new friend.
- 1:05:25Speaker 3: They're playing the show, They're playing the show.
- 1:05:28Speaker 1: Yeah, so Sublime Almost Monday, gig Perez, Miles Smith. Now
- 1:05:32Speaker 1: I'm sure from here on out you are very familiar
- 1:05:34Speaker 1: with all the bands that are playing also, and this
- 1:05:36Speaker 1: is gonna be their first time playing in LA in
- 1:05:38Speaker 1: ten years. Good Charlotte, I ever heard of them? All right,
- 1:05:41Speaker 1: so good Good Charlotte will be on the line for
- 1:05:43Speaker 1: Alter Ego, also playing Alter Ego Cage the Elephant.
- 1:05:46Speaker 3: Yes, yeah, yeah before those guys are awesome?
- 1:05:50Speaker 1: Did I mention Sublime is gonna be on a twenty
- 1:05:53Speaker 1: one pilots twenty one pilots, twenty one of them. I
- 1:05:58Speaker 1: think they got room for two more. Yeah, and then
- 1:06:01Speaker 1: also on Altar you go. Twenty twenty six, Green Day
- 1:06:04Speaker 1: will be playing, so yeah, dude, it's a great line.
- 1:06:08Speaker 1: Green Day Tournament Pilots, Sublime, Cage, the Elephant, Good Charlotte, Miles, Smith,
- 1:06:12Speaker 1: g G. Perez Almost Monday. The show is happening Saturday,
- 1:06:15Speaker 1: January seventeenth there at the Forum. This is gonna rock.
- 1:06:18Speaker 3: We're gonna need a bigger venue.
- 1:06:19Speaker 1: We don't need two of those nights.
- 1:06:21Speaker 3: We're gonna be two nights.
- 1:06:22Speaker 1: It is one. It is one night. But we're happy
- 1:06:25Speaker 1: to have you there. Last time we saw you, guys,
- 1:06:28Speaker 1: you were playing like a pool party for us, and
- 1:06:29Speaker 1: Jacob's like in the pool.
- 1:06:32Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, I do remember that night.
- 1:06:34Speaker 19: Yeah oh man, thett Yeah, I wish I could talk
- 1:06:37Speaker 19: about what happened after the step. Probably better that I don't.
- 1:06:43Speaker 19: Yeh makes some new friends keep the old one is
- 1:06:45Speaker 19: silver and one his gold.
- 1:06:47Speaker 1: So dude, tell me about just tell me about your
- 1:06:49Speaker 1: life at this point, man, because first of all, for
- 1:06:52Speaker 1: people who may not be familiar, Jacob is the son
- 1:06:56Speaker 1: of Bradley, who's the original lead singer of Sublime, and
- 1:06:59Speaker 1: then you know Sublime, you know, did their thing, and
- 1:07:03Speaker 1: Rome joined for a while and he was he was
- 1:07:05Speaker 1: the least Sublime with Rome and then uh you played?
- 1:07:08Speaker 1: Was it just based on that one gig? Did it?
- 1:07:10Speaker 1: Kind of like wait a minute, uh yeah that one?
- 1:07:15Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 1:07:15Speaker 19: Yeah, yeah before Coachella. No, the gig, the gig that
- 1:07:18Speaker 19: was our our first It wasn't even really a Sublime
- 1:07:20Speaker 19: proper gig. But there was a benefit show for HR
- 1:07:23Speaker 19: from Baburn.
- 1:07:23Speaker 1: What was the name of the venue, the Tarogram?
- 1:07:25Speaker 19: Is it Teogram?
- 1:07:26Speaker 5: Yeah?
- 1:07:26Speaker 19: So yeah here in Los Angeles, and you know, uh,
- 1:07:29Speaker 19: HR is like, you know, our hero, you know, especially
- 1:07:31Speaker 19: about Eric, So just to do anything to help out
- 1:07:34Speaker 19: was really special. You know, Eric really wanted to do it,
- 1:07:37Speaker 19: and then Bud wanted to do and they're like, why
- 1:07:38Speaker 19: don't we have Ja come up and Walt sing some
- 1:07:40Speaker 19: Sublime songs and us through having fun doing that is
- 1:07:45Speaker 19: what was like. Well, I mean, you know, our buddy
- 1:07:47Speaker 19: Joe Scalante has a buddy named Paul Tillette who really
- 1:07:51Speaker 19: likes SKA music and puts on little local festivals, and
- 1:07:55Speaker 19: he wanted us to come play his local event called Coachella.
- 1:07:58Speaker 1: Right, yeah, I mean nobod's heard of it?
- 1:08:00Speaker 19: Yeah yeah, yeah, no pressure support it and go check
- 1:08:03Speaker 19: it out, and yeah, no, no pressure freaking out dude.
- 1:08:07Speaker 3: So I don't get stage fright or what.
- 1:08:08Speaker 19: I you know, I've been performing since I was seventeen,
- 1:08:11Speaker 19: in and out of just these you know, all sorts
- 1:08:13Speaker 19: of terrible nameless man. I don't want to say there
- 1:08:14Speaker 19: was a lot of fun, you know, traveling around the country,
- 1:08:17Speaker 19: just trying to do anything I can to get anything
- 1:08:19Speaker 19: to stick to the wall, just just grind in total obscurity,
- 1:08:22Speaker 19: just playing for five people every night. And then finally
- 1:08:25Speaker 19: started to get a little bit of traction off with
- 1:08:27Speaker 19: Jacob's Castle and uh.
- 1:08:29Speaker 1: Anyway he's still playing, you know with Jacob's Yeah.
- 1:08:32Speaker 3: Yeah, it's It's helped out a lot.
- 1:08:34Speaker 19: So and so I really felt though I'd cut my
- 1:08:36Speaker 19: teeth and I'd played some bigger festivals and that sort
- 1:08:38Speaker 19: of thing with other bands. But wow, man, yeah, stepping
- 1:08:41Speaker 19: onto the stage of Coachella was was awful.
- 1:08:44Speaker 3: It is just horrible.
- 1:08:45Speaker 1: Oh man.
- 1:08:46Speaker 19: It was the word and and you know, like we're
- 1:08:48Speaker 19: so comfortable and locked in now. Like I tell people
- 1:08:51Speaker 19: out there, please come to a Sublime shout. I'm telling
- 1:08:52Speaker 19: you're gonna have so much fun. Buy some CDs, buy
- 1:08:54Speaker 19: some tapes, buy a T shirt for mom and dad,
- 1:08:57Speaker 19: like we are so comfortable now and locked in that
- 1:08:59Speaker 19: I truly endorse them behind and say that we are
- 1:09:01Speaker 19: well rehearsed and put on a great entertaining show every time.
- 1:09:04Speaker 3: But that first show was, uh, you know, nerve wracking.
- 1:09:07Speaker 3: Is is like an understatement.
- 1:09:09Speaker 1: It was just pressure.
- 1:09:10Speaker 3: Yeah, because you know all the songs. Yeah, I didn't know.
- 1:09:13Speaker 1: You really didn't know the songs.
- 1:09:15Speaker 19: I mean, we had a couple months to rehearse, but
- 1:09:16Speaker 19: that's not enough. Like people would be like, well, well
- 1:09:18Speaker 19: come on, kid, you had your whole life to learn them, Like,
- 1:09:20Speaker 19: I don't know. I know, it's gonna be stepping into
- 1:09:23Speaker 19: this kind of a dead relative to go portray their
- 1:09:26Speaker 19: their most famous and beloved works to you know, thousands
- 1:09:29Speaker 19: upon thousands of very expectant fans and by the way,
- 1:09:32Speaker 19: ninety nine point nine to some of other people. You know,
- 1:09:34Speaker 19: I could be up there in a in a Santa
- 1:09:35Speaker 19: Had singing Christmas carols and they probably like, keep their
- 1:09:37Speaker 19: dream alive.
- 1:09:38Speaker 6: They're jacobs, like, you know, it's it.
- 1:09:42Speaker 3: But to me, it was very very important.
- 1:09:43Speaker 19: And I take this stuff very seriously because of my
- 1:09:45Speaker 19: late father. He didn't get to experience Coachella or to
- 1:09:48Speaker 19: be on this the Wonderful the Woody Show and to
- 1:09:50Speaker 19: go play, you know, all these awesome events and stuff
- 1:09:52Speaker 19: like that. This is his and my uncle's cash and
- 1:09:55Speaker 19: life and their experience that that they are deservd of.
- 1:09:58Speaker 19: So and the fans are deservative having the most authentic
- 1:10:01Speaker 19: experience of the band possible. I mean the success. So
- 1:10:04Speaker 19: this is not to jump ahead at the success for
- 1:10:06Speaker 19: the most recent single is is not only mind blowing,
- 1:10:08Speaker 19: but it's really reassuring to show the staying power and
- 1:10:12Speaker 19: of a band like this and how many people have
- 1:10:14Speaker 19: been waiting for it. So that goes with that said,
- 1:10:16Speaker 19: all of that was in my head walking up on stage, and.
- 1:10:19Speaker 1: I was like, don't blow it, don't blow it.
- 1:10:21Speaker 19: And I don't think we blew it too bad, but dude,
- 1:10:22Speaker 19: it was just so much better now.
- 1:10:24Speaker 1: Regardless of whatever you end up going into I think
- 1:10:27Speaker 1: a lot of people fake it. Do they make it right?
- 1:10:29Speaker 1: Like you go in there and you're almost playing or
- 1:10:31Speaker 1: you're playing a role, like you said, like your dad's role.
- 1:10:33Speaker 1: You're coming in there, you're trying to you're basically emulating him.
- 1:10:37Speaker 1: You're trying or trying to. I mean, there's different until
- 1:10:40Speaker 1: you're able to like then take it and make it
- 1:10:42Speaker 1: your own, which is what you're kind of saying now,
- 1:10:44Speaker 1: is that sure? Now it's like you feel totally comfortable,
- 1:10:46Speaker 1: you can get up on stage and you sing the songs.
- 1:10:48Speaker 1: You're meeting the expectation of the fans. But also it's
- 1:10:50Speaker 1: it's it's your thing too, because now you got your
- 1:10:52Speaker 1: you know and sonata like this is one of your
- 1:10:54Speaker 1: songs that you helped create with this band. Yeah, and
- 1:10:57Speaker 1: not just not just you know, you know, doing the
- 1:11:01Speaker 1: classic songs.
- 1:11:01Speaker 6: Yeah, like holding the torch you're carrying.
- 1:11:03Speaker 19: Yeah, yeah, thank you. It is a really good, you know, analogy.
- 1:11:06Speaker 19: And at the end of the day, I always try
- 1:11:07Speaker 19: to tell people like, look, you know, we're not caring
- 1:11:08Speaker 19: cancer here.
- 1:11:09Speaker 3: You know, we're making we're a lot of dumb industry
- 1:11:13Speaker 3: where it's just.
- 1:11:14Speaker 19: Fun rock meus, it's entertainment. So I try to truly
- 1:11:16Speaker 19: not take myself too seriously. But at the same time,
- 1:11:19Speaker 19: I do try to, you know, have an air of like,
- 1:11:21Speaker 19: you know, what I'm doing is sacred to a lot
- 1:11:23Speaker 19: of folks out there, and it is very meaningful. Just
- 1:11:25Speaker 19: because of who I am and who I'm born doesn't
- 1:11:27Speaker 19: mean I was just like deserve it of being in
- 1:11:28Speaker 19: this role or jumping into some big, already pre established
- 1:11:31Speaker 19: band to help out my career. You know what I mean,
- 1:11:34Speaker 19: This is an incredibly lucky thing that I is a
- 1:11:36Speaker 19: gift that I get to be able to do, and
- 1:11:38Speaker 19: I like to treat it as such.
- 1:11:39Speaker 1: You know, I don't.
- 1:11:39Speaker 3: I don't f around like all the all the chaos
- 1:11:41Speaker 3: is very Uh.
- 1:11:42Speaker 1: I've heard you work very hard. Well, you know, I
- 1:11:44Speaker 1: think I've heard you're a hard worker. Like you. You
- 1:11:46Speaker 1: pour a lot of yourself, your heart and you know,
- 1:11:48Speaker 1: just a lot of like you. I don't want to
- 1:11:50Speaker 1: say lead by example, it's a tacky but you know
- 1:11:51Speaker 1: what I mean, like you, Yeah, you try to set
- 1:11:54Speaker 1: an example. You do set an example for you know
- 1:11:56Speaker 1: the other people. You know who are you know, Bud,
- 1:11:58Speaker 1: who's been there since the beginning. But like, hey, man,
- 1:12:00Speaker 1: like I'm not taking it for granted.
- 1:12:02Speaker 19: Yeah, I really try not to. Man, brother, I got
- 1:12:03Speaker 19: a day job that lets me sleep until the crack
- 1:12:06Speaker 19: of noon days.
- 1:12:08Speaker 3: What's what I have to complain about?
- 1:12:09Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 1:12:10Speaker 3: Yeah, man, not today, except for today today I quit.
- 1:12:14Speaker 19: No, but it's it has been a really special ride
- 1:12:17Speaker 19: and getting closer and more comfortable with Budd and Eric
- 1:12:20Speaker 19: as bandmates and just his friends and family has been
- 1:12:23Speaker 19: the true gift of this experience, because I think that's
- 1:12:25Speaker 19: what makes Sublime a really approachable, accessible and a genuinely
- 1:12:31Speaker 19: magnetic type of project for a lot of fans is
- 1:12:33Speaker 19: you can see a lot of your own maybe yeah
- 1:12:35Speaker 19: fu family, you know, in our antics and in our music.
- 1:12:38Speaker 19: So going forward and writing these new songs. Uh, part
- 1:12:41Speaker 19: of me being comfortable was like bringing in my buddy's
- 1:12:43Speaker 19: an't over here. He plays, he comes, he's my guitar tech.
- 1:12:45Speaker 19: But he comes up and plays half the set on
- 1:12:47Speaker 19: guitar because I don't particularly like playing guitar.
- 1:12:50Speaker 5: You know.
- 1:12:50Speaker 1: So you some of the new stuff too, right.
- 1:12:53Speaker 3: Yeah, that's him soloing on insinato.
- 1:12:55Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 1:12:56Speaker 1: So you're like a You're like a jack of all trades.
- 1:12:58Speaker 1: He's like a Swiss army knife.
- 1:12:59Speaker 6: He's the guitar attack.
- 1:13:01Speaker 19: Yeah, basically like I snuck him in through the enemy lines.
- 1:13:05Speaker 1: Heard the friendly lines. Yes, Well, we have a Jacob
- 1:13:08Speaker 1: Nole and Zane here from from Sublime. They're playing alter
- 1:13:12Speaker 1: edio in the band, which we we just announced this
- 1:13:14Speaker 1: morning's happening at the Former Los Angeles on January seventeenth.
- 1:13:17Speaker 1: That's a Saturday. Tickets going on still next Friday. You
- 1:13:20Speaker 1: guys are gonna play for us?
- 1:13:21Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 1:13:21Speaker 1: How about that?
- 1:13:22Speaker 3: About the new song? How about you want to hear it?
- 1:13:24Speaker 4: Yeah?
- 1:13:25Speaker 3: Id to hear it?
- 1:13:26Speaker 4: Here go.
- 1:13:27Speaker 1: It's a first single from the new album Upcoming albums
- 1:13:29Speaker 1: coming out early in twenty twenty six.
- 1:13:32Speaker 3: Sublime and Sonata live in studio on The Woody Show.
- 1:13:42Speaker 19: Is that what they're calling it now?
- 1:13:44Speaker 4: Small sound, a big mount.
- 1:13:49Speaker 2: His honesty, hard working girls, basketball MONTU does God go?
- 1:13:55Speaker 4: See you went? I'm back from Mexico.
- 1:13:59Speaker 2: If you can't relate to this, stun Berns Dolly Street pay,
- 1:14:04Speaker 2: I do want to be old man normal. I don't
- 1:14:08Speaker 2: want to make love to hands and not on my mind.
- 1:14:16Speaker 19: Can't come to me, can't go that, don't come to.
- 1:14:20Speaker 4: Mean on my mind, And that's a day. It's not
- 1:14:30Speaker 4: something I can promise you that.
- 1:14:32Speaker 21: If I was the mother Lave president, I only hire
- 1:14:35Speaker 21: twenty strippers from my cabin and let's coach my bomous
- 1:14:39Speaker 21: need not apply. If you never here another word to
- 1:14:42Speaker 21: know the reasons why, it's something.
- 1:14:45Speaker 4: You should know.
- 1:14:47Speaker 3: I decurve your stuff.
- 1:14:50Speaker 2: I don't want to feel man nor more. I want
- 1:14:53Speaker 2: to make love to hands and Noddy on my mind. WHOA,
- 1:15:01Speaker 2: I don't want to be your man no more. I
- 1:15:04Speaker 2: want to make love to you, Hansernada on my mind.
- 1:15:12Speaker 3: Saya sounds real good.
- 1:15:28Speaker 4: I'm afraid of you, she said, I do I want
- 1:15:36Speaker 4: to be your man. I want to make love to hands.
- 1:15:42Speaker 2: No, Oh, my mother, whoa, I don't want to be
- 1:15:48Speaker 2: your man no more? No Kyoto scented am hands and.
- 1:15:55Speaker 19: Oh my mother, she's sounding you.
- 1:16:02Speaker 4: I declar you're stuff. There's something you should do. I
- 1:16:08Speaker 4: declar you're stuck. There's something you should do.
- 1:16:14Speaker 1: You're stove.
- 1:16:16Speaker 4: There's something you you know.
- 1:16:19Speaker 19: I declare Radio you are stoked.
- 1:16:25Speaker 1: Sublime and Sanata likes a gentleman. Jacob Insane your game
- 1:16:32Speaker 1: studio with l Woodie Show. Can I say something?
- 1:16:36Speaker 19: Yeah, I just wanted to say out there to everybody. Uh,
- 1:16:39Speaker 19: It's just it really means a lot, the outpouring of
- 1:16:42Speaker 19: support for Ensenada man. When we wrote this, like whole record,
- 1:16:45Speaker 19: me and Zano, our producer, John and Budd and Eric
- 1:16:48Speaker 19: and Dougie and uh and Trey, everybody who's involved with
- 1:16:51Speaker 19: the band that calls Sublime right now.
- 1:16:53Speaker 3: We didn't.
- 1:16:53Speaker 19: This was just a song we made to like make
- 1:16:55Speaker 19: ourselves laugh, like some throwaway they're just making saying funny stuff.
- 1:17:00Speaker 19: There's some emotional core in there too, I think if
- 1:17:01Speaker 19: you really squint. But the fact that there's been this
- 1:17:04Speaker 19: much support, I just want to shout out to not
- 1:17:07Speaker 19: only of the old og fans who have stuck around
- 1:17:09Speaker 19: this long and are having fun at the shows, but
- 1:17:11Speaker 19: thank you for showing the music to your kids and
- 1:17:13Speaker 19: your kids kids, and I see them coming out to
- 1:17:15Speaker 19: the shows. There's even more of the new fans than
- 1:17:17Speaker 19: there are the old ones now, So en Sonata and
- 1:17:19Speaker 19: the whole new record that's for you, guys. Man, it's
- 1:17:21Speaker 19: for this next generation. It's been almost thirty years since
- 1:17:24Speaker 19: since a big number one, which for a while I
- 1:17:26Speaker 19: thought was like a diss but we broke some record
- 1:17:29Speaker 19: for the.
- 1:17:29Speaker 3: Longest time in between them e one.
- 1:17:30Speaker 19: But but what it means is that you know, usually
- 1:17:32Speaker 19: once you get your best, that's it. So the fact
- 1:17:34Speaker 19: that we're back here, we're on borrow time, and it's
- 1:17:36Speaker 19: a gift and there's not a day that goes by
- 1:17:38Speaker 19: that I wish I could give it back to my
- 1:17:39Speaker 19: father man So and his name and his honor and
- 1:17:41Speaker 19: his legacy and all the friends and family out there
- 1:17:43Speaker 19: who enjoy this music.
- 1:17:46Speaker 1: Whores. I gotta say, you know, it's crazy man likes
- 1:17:50Speaker 1: there's so much to be said about genetics, right, I
- 1:17:53Speaker 1: can think about it like like my mom will call
- 1:17:55Speaker 1: the house and my son will pick up and she'll
- 1:17:58Speaker 1: think she's talking to me. Yeah right, it's so weird
- 1:18:01Speaker 1: how my aunt does that.
- 1:18:02Speaker 19: I've called her before and she had to get off
- 1:18:03Speaker 19: the PHNK. She's like started crying or.
- 1:18:05Speaker 3: She's like talking to her brother.
- 1:18:07Speaker 1: Yeah. So it's not like you're sitting there trying to
- 1:18:09Speaker 1: sound like your dad. You just do because you are
- 1:18:12Speaker 1: your father's son.
- 1:18:12Speaker 3: Yeah, you know.
- 1:18:14Speaker 1: But again, it's so you could do these newer songs, right,
- 1:18:17Speaker 1: The newer songs blend so well with the classic Sublime stuff. Yeah,
- 1:18:21Speaker 1: and that's genetics, guys.
- 1:18:24Speaker 4: Yes, that was our torole.
- 1:18:25Speaker 11: Man.
- 1:18:25Speaker 19: Is that that whole era of music we want to
- 1:18:27Speaker 19: celebrate appreciate. We can never outshine or eclipse the original
- 1:18:31Speaker 19: Sublime era.
- 1:18:32Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:18:32Speaker 19: What me and Zay out here intended to do is
- 1:18:34Speaker 19: just make some stuff that excited us when when we
- 1:18:37Speaker 19: were kids, about that really cool, interesting era of nineties
- 1:18:40Speaker 19: and early two thousands of music, which I think is
- 1:18:41Speaker 19: coming back in a big way. Shout out to the
- 1:18:43Speaker 19: local scene here in southern California. Sunburn Records are putting
- 1:18:46Speaker 19: on shows everywhere.
- 1:18:47Speaker 1: Yeah, well, hey, it's twenty one Pilots, It's Green Day,
- 1:18:51Speaker 1: It's Cage the Elephant. Good Charlotte Miles Smith gg Prez
- 1:18:54Speaker 1: almost Famous and Sublime Happening at Alter Ego twenty twenty six,
- 1:18:58Speaker 1: presented by Capitol One at the four. I'm in Los
- 1:19:00Speaker 1: Angeles on Saturday, January the seventeenth, and we're super excited
- 1:19:05Speaker 1: to have you guys here and the new album which
- 1:19:08Speaker 1: is coming out early next year. As we mentioned, Uh,
- 1:19:11Speaker 1: what's what's the date on that? I should have had
- 1:19:12Speaker 1: the date on that or is it just at this
- 1:19:14Speaker 1: point just early next year? Okay, First, my management gets
- 1:19:19Speaker 1: mad because I keep saying dates. Just all right, Dick,
- 1:19:22Speaker 1: and see, I should know this thing as a professional,
- 1:19:24Speaker 1: but I'm a really terrible interviewer. No, you're not in
- 1:19:27Speaker 1: a great conversation, and I it's even an interview. We're
- 1:19:29Speaker 1: having a good talk. Yeah, and you know, but I
- 1:19:31Speaker 1: should have wrote that down, but I just don't know.
- 1:19:33Speaker 3: There's no date.
- 1:19:33Speaker 19: Yeah, but what it will be some new songs called
- 1:19:36Speaker 19: so I might even play one after this too. Whatever
- 1:19:38Speaker 19: you guys want, Yeah, probably like a classic. Okay, I
- 1:19:40Speaker 19: got one, I got one. This one really means a
- 1:19:42Speaker 19: lot to me stepping into this role. So it has
- 1:19:45Speaker 19: one personal meaning and twist. But it is especially personal
- 1:19:50Speaker 19: lyrics when it comes to my father's writing. So it
- 1:19:52Speaker 19: always makes me reflect. So here's one of our favorites.
- 1:20:21Speaker 4: When your grandpall me he then kill me that I'll
- 1:20:27Speaker 4: never be said free pulama pair reap, then crawl that

- 1:26:05Speaker 1: like a like a huge radio song. I played on
- 1:26:07Speaker 1: the radio number of times, but like it wasn't like
- 1:26:09Speaker 1: what I got our wrong way or Santa Ria kind

- 1:26:19Speaker 1: a really short ass so really special too.
- 1:26:21Speaker 19: It's not the same spirit that you see in a
- 1:26:23Speaker 19: lot of really cool, utiful underground stuff happening today in
- 1:26:26Speaker 19: all genres.
- 1:26:27Speaker 1: And uh.
- 1:26:30Speaker 19: It's like so like like a p it's like a

- 1:28:33Speaker 1: used a lot by people on the podcast, like the
- 1:28:35Speaker 1: podcast only people or yeah, if you're getting caught up

- 1:28:50Speaker 1: get the after hours more voicemail and you can leave
- 1:28:52Speaker 1: whatever you've got. Speaking of follow up, we were doing
- 1:28:56Speaker 1: that whole thing. Is it something that you did as
- 1:28:57Speaker 1: a kid or as a drunk adult? So here here's
- 1:29:00Speaker 1: an after hours voicemail on that one, giving you guys
- 1:29:03Speaker 1: a call about the Uh did I do this as an.
- 1:29:05Speaker 11: Adult or as a kid? So basically got in trouble
- 1:29:09Speaker 11: for stealing a bunch of Christmas lights and then taking
- 1:29:12Speaker 11: them and plugging them in at my neighbor's front of yard.
- 1:29:15Speaker 11: So got in some pretty big trouble on that. But yeah,
- 1:29:18Speaker 11: did I do that as a kid or as an adult?
- 1:29:20Speaker 1: All right? I paused it.
- 1:29:22Speaker 6: Yeah, definitely kid. That's like a teenage Briand I'm.
- 1:29:25Speaker 9: Saying drunk adult saying you need height, you need right,
- 1:29:29Speaker 9: some some sort of coordination.
- 1:29:31Speaker 1: Yeah, I'm thinking like the friend probably spend a bunch
- 1:29:33Speaker 1: of time putting that stuff up and came out it
- 1:29:35Speaker 1: was all gone, But it was on the neighbor on
- 1:29:37Speaker 1: your buddy's house.
- 1:29:39Speaker 6: I'm still a good kid.
- 1:29:40Speaker 1: Kid. What do you think, Morgan?
- 1:29:41Speaker 12: I heard it already.
- 1:29:42Speaker 1: You already heard its ruin every game. Yeah, all right,
- 1:29:48Speaker 1: let's find out. Give it a second.
- 1:29:49Speaker 11: And it was as an adult one years old, for
- 1:29:53Speaker 11: my birthday, decided, going past my buddy ex girlfriend's cheating
- 1:29:56Speaker 11: on him, that we were going to steal all her
- 1:29:58Speaker 11: Christmas lights and set them up. That's long story short.
- 1:30:01Speaker 11: Tried to four wheel on the front yard, got arrested,
- 1:30:03Speaker 11: and I went to jail for three days over the
- 1:30:05Speaker 11: holiday weekend.
- 1:30:06Speaker 6: It was great, he loved Really that seems a little harsh.
- 1:30:10Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:30:11Speaker 1: Yeah, Well, if you go sometimes because I've seen on
- 1:30:14Speaker 1: those shows what they call it the first forty eight
- 1:30:17Speaker 1: or first forty eight whatever, they get locked up. Yeah, no,
- 1:30:21Speaker 1: you get you get locked up, and it's about your
- 1:30:22Speaker 1: first twenty four hours in jail.
- 1:30:23Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:30:24Speaker 1: But it's like a lot of people being brought in,
- 1:30:26Speaker 1: even for smaller stuff, but because they can't get ahold
- 1:30:29Speaker 1: of anybody, or they don't have the money right away,
- 1:30:30Speaker 1: they end up spending a few days or a week.
- 1:30:33Speaker 1: Ye there for a week.
- 1:30:34Speaker 9: I know someone who got arrested on a Friday and
- 1:30:36Speaker 9: they said you don't get out till Monday, even though
- 1:30:38Speaker 9: it was like yeah next, yeah, oh that sucks.
- 1:30:41Speaker 1: Yeah a half hours voicemail eight seven seven forty four Woody.
- 1:30:46Speaker 5: I just want to say shout out to half Baked,
- 1:30:50Speaker 5: and probably more so Woody for his impression of half Baked.
- 1:30:54Speaker 5: I can't say dollar amounts anymore without going fifty dollars, fond,
- 1:31:02Speaker 5: thousand dollars, thank you.
- 1:31:08Speaker 3: Yes, I got a whole coug.
- 1:31:14Speaker 1: It's worth four thousand dollars, but it kind of sounds
- 1:31:20Speaker 1: across between that and like macho man, I gotta due.
- 1:31:30Speaker 3: I've got a Kobe Bryant figure why you were foos
- 1:31:36Speaker 3: and duelers.
- 1:31:37Speaker 9: Realize watching you both do that, you just have to
- 1:31:39Speaker 9: kind of clench your mouth.
- 1:31:42Speaker 3: Yes, he does that though. Who's this person you ran into?
- 1:31:47Speaker 1: Speaking of a feedback?
- 1:31:48Speaker 3: Oh yeah, I ran in a nice couple when I
- 1:31:52Speaker 3: was at a resorts World. I just happen to have
- 1:31:54Speaker 3: my microphone on me because I was talking to people,
- 1:31:55Speaker 3: and then they ran up to me. They go, menace.
- 1:31:58Speaker 3: We loved the Woody show, and I was like, I
- 1:32:00Speaker 3: was like, we rarely hear that people like us, So
- 1:32:03Speaker 3: can I.
- 1:32:04Speaker 1: Nice thing every once in a while, but no one's
- 1:32:06Speaker 1: gonna believe it's really hate.
- 1:32:07Speaker 3: Yeah, so I decided to record it. So that's what happened.
- 1:32:10Speaker 3: Can I do audio interview with you?
- 1:32:11Speaker 5: Okay?
- 1:32:12Speaker 3: So what do you love about the Woody Show?
- 1:32:14Speaker 11: Oh?
- 1:32:14Speaker 12: I mean if I could get real for two seconds.
- 1:32:17Speaker 3: I used to have a best friend and she hated it,
- 1:32:19Speaker 3: and then we're not best friends at me long and
- 1:32:22Speaker 3: then it's like all so yeah, it's just you guys.
- 1:32:27Speaker 1: Have become like our friends. Like we listen to you,
- 1:32:29Speaker 1: We're like, wow, this is just like the guys are

- 1:32:55Speaker 3: No, you never are, because you mean you're working hard
- 1:32:58Speaker 3: and even when you are.
- 1:32:59Speaker 12: On case, you're on your weekend, you're always working.

- 1:33:23Speaker 1: people out? Yeah, let me let me take the break
- 1:33:26Speaker 1: and I'll come back. And this is, I guess, a
- 1:33:29Speaker 1: question really for everybody, but specifically for parents and also

- 1:33:38Speaker 1: I mean, it's it's pretty it's pretty specific, I guess.
- 1:33:41Speaker 1: But if she's just looking for some advice and if

- 1:34:39Speaker 3: She says, Hoy, what do you show.
- 1:34:41Speaker 1: I've been listening to you guys for years, and I've
- 1:34:43Speaker 1: always appreciated how honest your advice is when other people
- 1:34:46Speaker 1: ask for advice, and I'm hoping you can help. My
- 1:34:49Speaker 1: husband and I are at a loss and could really
- 1:34:51Speaker 1: use an outside perspective. Our fifteen year old son has
- 1:34:55Speaker 1: been in a relationship that has completely taken over his life.
- 1:34:59Speaker 1: His school work, his behavior have gone downhill. He's failing
- 1:35:02Speaker 1: a class in school and barely holding on in some others,
- 1:35:06Speaker 1: and he's become singularly focused on this girl. She's got
- 1:35:10Speaker 1: her own issues, including some serious emotional struggles. One night,
- 1:35:14Speaker 1: when they were chatting online. She cut herself and told him,
- 1:35:17Speaker 1: you made me do this.
- 1:35:18Speaker 11: Oh no.
- 1:35:19Speaker 1: She also has problems at home. I'm not saying our
- 1:35:22Speaker 1: son is innocent in all this. He's to blame for
- 1:35:24Speaker 1: his own behavior. But this relationship isn't healthy. We've tried
- 1:35:28Speaker 1: everything we could do to limit their contact. She's not
- 1:35:30Speaker 1: at his school anymore. She got expelled, Oh oh my god.
- 1:35:35Speaker 1: But that hasn't stopped them. Her mom is a total enabler.
- 1:35:39Speaker 1: She actually bought my son a burner phone so they
- 1:35:43Speaker 1: could keep talking behind our backs. And we recently found
- 1:35:46Speaker 1: out that he has been sneaking out of the house
- 1:35:48Speaker 1: in the middle of the night and ubering to her house.
- 1:35:53Speaker 1: He's fifteen, and get this, it's all on the mom's
- 1:35:56Speaker 1: Uber account. It's like cause she's paying for her so
- 1:36:01Speaker 1: so the mom knows he's there at one or two
- 1:36:03Speaker 1: o'clock in the morning on a school night.
- 1:36:05Speaker 3: Oh boy.
- 1:36:06Speaker 1: They're literally hanging out inside their house while we think
- 1:36:09Speaker 1: he's asleep in his room. We've grounded them, are grounded
- 1:36:12Speaker 1: him taking his phone, restricted internet access. We talked to
- 1:36:16Speaker 1: him over and over, but nothing seems to get through.
- 1:36:19Speaker 1: My husband and I are completely out of ideas, what
- 1:36:22Speaker 1: would you do if you were us? We know he's
- 1:36:25Speaker 1: a teenager and feels like he's in love, but this
- 1:36:28Speaker 1: situation is crazy, and the other parents involvement makes it
- 1:36:32Speaker 1: even worse. Thanks for taking the time to read this,
- 1:36:35Speaker 1: and for all the times you've helped other people figure
- 1:36:37Speaker 1: out tough stuff like this me love. That is from Gabriella. Dude,
- 1:36:42Speaker 1: So okay, now they.
- 1:36:43Speaker 6: Think they're in love, that's that.
- 1:36:45Speaker 12: Yeah, But the mom enabling it, that's the toughest part.
- 1:36:49Speaker 1: I do.
- 1:36:49Speaker 6: I think that's who you go to first.
- 1:36:51Speaker 1: So I told you, like my son, we set him
- 1:36:54Speaker 1: up on the mommy daddy phone.
- 1:36:55Speaker 6: Right, jitterbug. Yeah, it's just basically just the phone number.
- 1:37:00Speaker 1: Yeah, it's it's a company called gab gabb if you're interested,
- 1:37:05Speaker 1: and I mean it's it's on lockdown. There's no web browser.
- 1:37:07Speaker 1: Note which we we've done similar things like trying to
- 1:37:11Speaker 1: control the situation. Gabriella has already done a lot of steps. Yeah,
- 1:37:15Speaker 1: but you can you can only do You can only
- 1:37:17Speaker 1: do so much.
- 1:37:18Speaker 4: Yeah, and you can't.
- 1:37:21Speaker 1: You can't control certain things. You can only hope they
- 1:37:23Speaker 1: make good decisions. The part that I don't know how
- 1:37:27Speaker 1: to advise on is with the with the other parents.
- 1:37:32Speaker 9: Yeah, that was my first thought. You need to talk
- 1:37:34Speaker 9: to the parents. She's tried that and the mom is
- 1:37:37Speaker 9: the problem.
- 1:37:38Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:37:38Speaker 6: I think that's the first place you go, the other adult.
- 1:37:41Speaker 4: But she did.
- 1:37:42Speaker 6: Yeah, but you just keep I mean, your kid is
- 1:37:45Speaker 6: your kid, and they think they're in love and the
- 1:37:47Speaker 6: rules don't apply to them. But another parent doing that,
- 1:37:50Speaker 6: that's insane.
- 1:37:52Speaker 1: The first the first two texts that rolled in, I
- 1:37:53Speaker 1: guess this would make sense. I don't know what the
- 1:37:55Speaker 1: charge would be. Eight one eight she needs to file
- 1:37:58Speaker 1: a restraining order against the mom. Six to six. They
- 1:38:02Speaker 1: need to call the police and also file a restraining order.
- 1:38:05Speaker 6: Huh, it would be a restraining order against the son.
- 1:38:09Speaker 1: No, no, no, it would be it'd be the I
- 1:38:11Speaker 1: think there's it would be the mom who has to
- 1:38:13Speaker 1: say who has to stay away from Gabrielle's son. That's
- 1:38:16Speaker 1: what I mean, Like, you can't contact him, and so
- 1:38:19Speaker 1: to keep him away from that house, he's not allowed
- 1:38:22Speaker 1: to be within however much distance of her. I mean
- 1:38:25Speaker 1: that that does make sense. Call the police the next
- 1:38:27Speaker 1: time he leaves the house at night.
- 1:38:30Speaker 9: My one concrete thought was you need a ring doorbell,
- 1:38:35Speaker 9: if you don't have one, Yeah, then you don't know
- 1:38:37Speaker 9: when he's leaving.
- 1:38:38Speaker 1: Send him to a therapist and get a restraining order
- 1:38:41Speaker 1: against the other mother file a restraining order. But wow, yeah, okay,
- 1:38:45Speaker 1: that that seems to be so can you I don't
- 1:38:48Speaker 1: know how those work? Can you do that?
- 1:38:49Speaker 5: Like?
- 1:38:49Speaker 1: Can you just file a restraining order against somebody to
- 1:38:53Speaker 1: keep somebody away from you? I know they're like in
- 1:38:56Speaker 1: situations where there's an abuse, like a domestic violence, but
- 1:39:00Speaker 1: that's restraints like make no sense.
- 1:39:03Speaker 8: They have to be verbally warned first before, so like
- 1:39:07Speaker 8: you'd have to I mean you could, I guess if
- 1:39:08Speaker 8: you want a restraining order, you'd contact the police.
- 1:39:11Speaker 1: You have experience with this kind of sounds.
- 1:39:13Speaker 6: I've never filed one.
- 1:39:15Speaker 8: I'm literally just asking, right, So I mean, I mean
- 1:39:17Speaker 8: you can give the verbal warning of like, hey, if
- 1:39:20Speaker 8: this doesn't stop, I'm going to have a restraining order
- 1:39:23Speaker 8: filed against you. So you have to give a warning
- 1:39:25Speaker 8: before they'll file that. But there also has to be
- 1:39:28Speaker 8: proof of some sort of I mean, we do that.
- 1:39:30Speaker 3: Sass all the time, but.
- 1:39:34Speaker 1: This sounds it's the crime of contributing to the delinquency
- 1:39:38Speaker 1: of a minor.
- 1:39:39Speaker 6: Oh I mean kind of yeah, yeah, that's true.
- 1:39:42Speaker 3: Can somebody somebody look at that? What does that law say, like,
- 1:39:45Speaker 3: look up a little mouddy.
- 1:39:47Speaker 1: Contributing to the delinquency of a minor While you look
- 1:39:50Speaker 1: that up. You know, filing a restraining order, you have
- 1:39:52Speaker 1: to file paperwork, request a temporary order, have somebody else
- 1:39:56Speaker 1: serve the order, present your case at a hearing, gather evidence,
- 1:39:59Speaker 1: and then be prepared to speak. It doesn't sound that
- 1:40:04Speaker 1: actually doesn't sound like a lot because you already have
- 1:40:06Speaker 1: the information on why you want the restraining order. So
- 1:40:08Speaker 1: you usually would have some type of proof or a
- 1:40:10Speaker 1: black eye or you know what I mean that you
- 1:40:12Speaker 1: would have something, and so it just sounds like you
- 1:40:14Speaker 1: go and you file the serving is like the court
- 1:40:17Speaker 1: will then go serve everybody else, Like you don't you
- 1:40:19Speaker 1: don't do that? Yeah, I don't know. Yeah, provide this
- 1:40:22Speaker 1: song with condoms. She tried whopoping his ass? Yeah do that? Yeah, yeah,
- 1:40:34Speaker 1: he's a minor restraining order. Dude. The restraining order thing
- 1:40:36Speaker 1: seems to be so, but.
- 1:40:38Speaker 3: Restraining orders it's just an invisible wall.
- 1:40:42Speaker 4: The next step.
- 1:40:42Speaker 6: But you can go farther.
- 1:40:44Speaker 1: Okay, I'm I'm gonna put myself. I thought about the
- 1:40:47Speaker 1: same thing menace. Yeah, but I just thought about it
- 1:40:50Speaker 1: in a way where if I put myself in the
- 1:40:51Speaker 1: shoes of the other parent who's butting in and a
- 1:40:56Speaker 1: restraining order got filed against me, that would get me
- 1:41:00Speaker 1: to back off. Because here's the thing. Yeah, I'm not
- 1:41:03Speaker 1: really in any trouble right now, I'm not bound to be.
- 1:41:07Speaker 1: I'm not saying I'm not getting picked up for it
- 1:41:09Speaker 1: for any like contributing to whatever this delinquency of a minor.
- 1:41:13Speaker 1: But if I continue, then I would get picked up.
- 1:41:17Speaker 1: If somebody violates a restraining or that, they get picked
- 1:41:19Speaker 1: up right and arresting.
- 1:41:20Speaker 6: Yeah, exactly.
- 1:41:21Speaker 1: So it's kind of like a shot across the bow.
- 1:41:24Speaker 1: It's a warning.
- 1:41:25Speaker 6: And according to chet GB two, who knows everything, yet,
- 1:41:28Speaker 6: contributing to the delinquency of a minor, like providing drugs, alcohol,
- 1:41:32Speaker 6: encouraging illegal acts, neglecting supervision, et cetera, I can definitely
- 1:41:35Speaker 6: count as a reason for the court to step in
- 1:41:38Speaker 6: since it harms the child's welfare.
- 1:41:39Speaker 8: So there's also one that falls under that too, that's
- 1:41:42Speaker 8: promoting encouragability, which is encouraging a minor to be habitually
- 1:41:46Speaker 8: truant from school, run away from home, or become a
- 1:41:49Speaker 8: juvenile delinquent.
- 1:41:50Speaker 6: So this is running away from home helping them do that.
- 1:41:52Speaker 3: I am I always thought it was just alcohol.
- 1:41:54Speaker 6: And if there's uber receipts that ain't good that linked
- 1:41:58Speaker 6: to her credit.
- 1:41:59Speaker 1: Card, Oh, this is an incredibly difficult and painful situation.
- 1:42:02Speaker 1: You and your husband are right to take it seriously.
- 1:42:04Speaker 1: This has elements of emotional manipulation, unsafe behavior, and possible
- 1:42:09Speaker 1: child endangerment. Best practiced guidance from a pediatric mental health expert,
- 1:42:15Speaker 1: child protection services such as the American Academy of Pediatrics,
- 1:42:18Speaker 1: the National Child Traumatic Stress Network, and crisis intervention procedures.
- 1:42:23Speaker 1: So call emergency services or your local crisis line. If
- 1:42:26Speaker 1: there's any indication that the girl may harm herself again
- 1:42:29Speaker 1: or that your son might be in danger, report the
- 1:42:32Speaker 1: situation to child protective services or the police. The girl's
- 1:42:35Speaker 1: mother is enabling unsafe contact. It is especially since she
- 1:42:39Speaker 1: brought him, bought him a burner phone, and is allowing
- 1:42:42Speaker 1: overnight visits That crosses into potential child endangerment territory. So
- 1:42:48Speaker 1: what I did is I just took Gabrielle's email and
- 1:42:50Speaker 1: I popped it in the chat GPT and this is
- 1:42:52Speaker 1: what it's spitting out. Collect and secure evidence, screenshots, messages,
- 1:42:56Speaker 1: uber logs you made, maybe use of authorities or the
- 1:42:59Speaker 1: school becoming involved. Disable or confiscate unauthorized devices like the
- 1:43:03Speaker 1: burner phone, restrict transportation apps, change passwords, payment methods on
- 1:43:08Speaker 1: the account, set nighttime monitoring. So there you go, Greg
- 1:43:11Speaker 1: ringlorm ring, doorbell, door alarm's motion sensors, keeping car, keys
- 1:43:15Speaker 1: and phones outside of his room until the pattern of
- 1:43:19Speaker 1: sneaking stops. Schedule in the pointment the license. Adolescent therapists
- 1:43:22Speaker 1: or a psychologist, ideally one who deals with trauma, bonding,
- 1:43:25Speaker 1: self harm, exposure, and risky relationships. A therapist can help
- 1:43:30Speaker 1: him understand manipulation, manage guilt, and rebuild healthy boundaries. This
- 1:43:34Speaker 1: is this is all good.
- 1:43:36Speaker 3: Just become the FBI.
- 1:43:39Speaker 1: Yeah, and a lawyer. I'm not laughing, dude, that sucks, Like, yeah,
- 1:43:44Speaker 1: but you can't whip their acid anymore. You can't, Like,
- 1:43:47Speaker 1: what do you go? It's like Greg's all idea. It
- 1:43:49Speaker 1: sounds funny, like, oh, I just put him in a
- 1:43:51Speaker 1: playpen and put a board with a brick on top
- 1:43:52Speaker 1: of it, Like you can't do that?
- 1:43:54Speaker 3: You have to open an entire FBI case. It gets no, no, no,
- 1:43:58Speaker 3: This is like get the kids some help.
- 1:44:00Speaker 1: Like if the kid is like engaging in this risky
- 1:44:03Speaker 1: stuff and he's got this girlfriend who's cutting in front
- 1:44:05Speaker 1: of him and saying that, you like, like you know
- 1:44:07Speaker 1: what that does to somebody.
- 1:44:08Speaker 6: And that's why it's saying that GPS or GPT is saying,
- 1:44:12Speaker 6: call child Protective Services on the girl who's cutting and
- 1:44:16Speaker 6: then let them handle it.
- 1:44:17Speaker 1: Avoid shaming or punishing him for caring about her. That
- 1:44:20Speaker 1: might reinforce his feeling that no one else understands. Expressing
- 1:44:23Speaker 1: concern and behavioral not emotional terms. We're worried because you're
- 1:44:26Speaker 1: losing sleep, you're failing classes. You deserve a relationship that
- 1:44:29Speaker 1: supports you, not one that hurts you. I've said that
- 1:44:32Speaker 1: to my son. That is why some of my advice
- 1:44:35Speaker 1: to him has been, you know, when it comes to friends,
- 1:44:38Speaker 1: family relationships, like you surround yourself with people that make
- 1:44:43Speaker 1: you a better version of yourself, right, not a worse
- 1:44:46Speaker 1: version of yourself. So how it got to mommy daddy
- 1:44:48Speaker 1: phone is that he was around people that were making
- 1:44:50Speaker 1: him a worse version of himself. He's a good kid.
- 1:44:54Speaker 1: He's a sweet kid, he's a thoughtful kid, he's a
- 1:44:56Speaker 1: caring kid, but he's also dumb. And he's a kid,
- 1:44:58Speaker 1: and he's sixteen, and he's his brain's undercooked. You know,
- 1:45:02Speaker 1: they haven't they haven't developed it. Yeah, so yeah, Gabrielle,
- 1:45:05Speaker 1: I don't uh, I don't envy that situation.
- 1:45:09Speaker 6: And this is a yucky thing. But it's coming up
- 1:45:11Speaker 6: a few times on the text. Is there something going
- 1:45:13Speaker 6: on with the kid and the mother's.
- 1:45:17Speaker 8: Into it or is she just trying to be the
- 1:45:18Speaker 8: cool mom, cool mom, the cool mom thing that is
- 1:45:23Speaker 8: a real thing. If this girl is like cutting, And
- 1:45:26Speaker 8: then to the boyfriend going like, you made me do this?
- 1:45:29Speaker 8: Who knows what guilt she's putting on the mom And
- 1:45:31Speaker 8: if you don't help him get here, then I'm gonna
- 1:45:34Speaker 8: cut or whatever I mean?
- 1:45:35Speaker 12: Who knows?
- 1:45:36Speaker 9: And then the tricky thing restraining order. Let's say that
- 1:45:38Speaker 9: goes through. The kid is going to them, so but
- 1:45:42Speaker 9: he's so you can't, yeah, but they have taking the
- 1:45:45Speaker 9: restraining order. If he keeps going there, she.
- 1:45:49Speaker 1: Might have to leave and like at the grocery store,
- 1:45:51Speaker 1: at that point she can call if she really wants
- 1:45:54Speaker 1: to stay away from this kid. She would then call
- 1:45:57Speaker 1: and say, hey, he's there. There's a restraining order against
- 1:45:59Speaker 1: me by this, but he keeps showing up like and that.
- 1:46:02Speaker 1: That would then be an issue. But if Gabrielle is
- 1:46:04Speaker 1: doing all this other stuff, you know, she whatever limits
- 1:46:08Speaker 1: all this aready? Yeah, Like how would he have like, hey, Gabriella,
- 1:46:12Speaker 1: mommy daddy phone gap gabb there. You can't even put
- 1:46:16Speaker 1: an uber lyft type app on there. You can't put uh,
- 1:46:20Speaker 1: you know, social media apps on there. It greatly restricts. Now,
- 1:46:24Speaker 1: you can't. You can't do anything about a burner phone
- 1:46:28Speaker 1: other than know about it and keep looking for like
- 1:46:31Speaker 1: that kind of thing. The other thing is two parents
- 1:46:34Speaker 1: keep keep an eye on what devices are picking up
- 1:46:36Speaker 1: on your Wi Fi. You can see everything that logs
- 1:46:40Speaker 1: into your WiFi. If all of a sudden there's a
- 1:46:41Speaker 1: phone on there you don't recognize, huh, how'd that get there? Yeah?
- 1:46:45Speaker 4: What is that?
- 1:46:46Speaker 9: The mom thing is very weird that she is ubers
- 1:46:50Speaker 9: for him. I could understand if you want to be
- 1:46:52Speaker 9: the cool mom. You're saying like, yeah, you guys can
- 1:46:54Speaker 9: hang out here, that's fine, but I'm going to pay
- 1:46:55Speaker 9: for your uber to come here.
- 1:46:57Speaker 1: That's super weird and that's that's a cool mom thing.
- 1:47:00Speaker 1: And it sounds like these women who live vikerously through
- 1:47:04Speaker 1: their their daughters, fathers who live vikerosy through their son,
- 1:47:10Speaker 1: you know, trying to push like a maybe like a
- 1:47:12Speaker 1: athletic thing. Yeah, some some type of you know, make
- 1:47:16Speaker 1: sure you get the powder with the brush, some kind
- 1:47:18Speaker 1: of kind of thing from from their own childhood or
- 1:47:20Speaker 1: you know, aspiration that they never really got right exactly,
- 1:47:24Speaker 1: you're making margaritas for him exactly. Uh. Yeah, So the
- 1:47:29Speaker 1: mom sounds mentally immature, and maybe that's why she's enabling
- 1:47:32Speaker 1: all this. Yeah, yeah, absolutely, Yeah. All right, Well, Gabriella,
- 1:47:38Speaker 1: I hope I hope that helps. You know, we can
- 1:47:40Speaker 1: we just send her we can send her the suggestion
- 1:47:42Speaker 1: the MP three of this segment, because we said so much,
- 1:47:45Speaker 1: I'm not going to put all that in an email.
- 1:47:46Speaker 3: Yeah, I will send her what chet.
- 1:47:49Speaker 1: ChiPT pumped out. She can use that and then thank
- 1:47:53Speaker 1: thank you guys by the way for thanks, thank you
- 1:47:55Speaker 1: guys for texting over and helping out.
- 1:47:58Speaker 3: That's a lot.
- 1:47:58Speaker 1: Yeah, if you've got something, But if ever we be
- 1:48:00Speaker 1: a help because it does help other people, to other
- 1:48:02Speaker 1: people who are going through that kind of stuff so
- 1:48:04Speaker 1: you can instit up, hit us up. Email at my
- 1:48:07Speaker 1: complexion is out of a urinal urinal everyone in this
- 1:48:10Speaker 1: room means Vitamin deep, A little lower, a little slower.
- 1:48:12Speaker 1: You want to oil them down, sunning their buttholes.
- 1:48:15Speaker 6: Wow, chugging the sun. We're pretty much all deficient.
- 1:48:19Speaker 1: Sorry, I'm little cells. Are you down to d or not?
- 1:48:22Speaker 1: You can all day law the Woody Show. A lot
- 1:48:28Speaker 1: of feedback coming in on that listener email Gabriella who
- 1:48:33Speaker 1: was talking about what's going on with the with her
- 1:48:35Speaker 1: son and the craziness. Yeah, that's that's involved there, and
- 1:48:42Speaker 1: it also seems to be a pretty good consensus besides
- 1:48:44Speaker 1: the you should get a restraining order, that's popular. They're
- 1:48:48Speaker 1: they're advising Gabrielle to pursue that. A lot of people saying, man,
- 1:48:53Speaker 1: I made a really poor decision not having kids. That's
- 1:48:56Speaker 1: how I'm feeling a sad right now. How we missed out.
- 1:49:00Speaker 1: I know I would love all the drama me too, well,
- 1:49:04Speaker 1: And you know it is it is true what they
- 1:49:06Speaker 1: say when you know the kids are little, like there's
- 1:49:09Speaker 1: a lot to deal with, but it's little kids, little problems, right,
- 1:49:12Speaker 1: It's stupid stuff like oh, somebody put gum on someone's hand.
- 1:49:17Speaker 16: You know.
- 1:49:17Speaker 1: Now, now it's that's the worst stuff like this or
- 1:49:23Speaker 1: something bigger that could actually have some type of like
- 1:49:25Speaker 1: you know, forward moving consequences.
- 1:49:28Speaker 3: Yeah, well it sucks, is like versus when we grew up?
- 1:49:31Speaker 3: Is the digital footprint? Oh yeah, like you can easily
- 1:49:34Speaker 3: ruin your entire life that something won't go away forever.
- 1:49:38Speaker 4: Well how many?
- 1:49:38Speaker 1: Look, I mean my mom had me, she had barely
- 1:49:42Speaker 1: turned eighteen. You know, my my mom and dad were
- 1:49:44Speaker 1: very young, that kind of stuff, and she struggled super
- 1:49:48Speaker 1: hard for a long time, ended up going to school
- 1:49:50Speaker 1: and getting herself through it and the whole thing. But
- 1:49:53Speaker 1: you know, man, it was it was a you know,
- 1:49:55Speaker 1: it was it was the time of your life where
- 1:49:57Speaker 1: you're supposed to be, you know, going to college and
- 1:49:59Speaker 1: having fun and just yeah, you're starting life. Yeah. So,
- 1:50:01Speaker 1: I mean, I guess I was a mistake, right, So
- 1:50:04Speaker 1: I wasn't planned.
- 1:50:06Speaker 5: I was. I was.
- 1:50:07Speaker 16: I was.
- 1:50:08Speaker 3: I was an oopsie baby.
- 1:50:09Speaker 1: Yeah, And I'm sure my mom maybe she would say
- 1:50:11Speaker 1: that she would do it differently, but at the time, man,
- 1:50:14Speaker 1: that really really blows. That's a decision that completely changed
- 1:50:17Speaker 1: her life. Yeah, you know, you get in hard courted
- 1:50:21Speaker 1: drugs or you get hard core into something, you get arrested.
- 1:50:24Speaker 1: Now you're facing some kind of legitimate charge. They try
- 1:50:27Speaker 1: you as an adult even though you're not a Like,
- 1:50:29Speaker 1: there's so many bad things that can happen, you know, Yeah,
- 1:50:32Speaker 1: it just and you try as a parent. People always
- 1:50:34Speaker 1: like to blame the parents, but it sounds like Gabrielle
- 1:50:37Speaker 1: is doing what they can to at least try to
- 1:50:39Speaker 1: get them to make good decisions. If they make good
- 1:50:40Speaker 1: decisions or not, that's on them. And that's the part
- 1:50:43Speaker 1: definitely that is so frustrating. I can I can relate
- 1:50:46Speaker 1: on that because she's already taken a lot of steps.
- 1:50:48Speaker 1: But the weird thing to me is the girl's mom. Yeah, yeah,
- 1:50:51Speaker 1: that is You're uber's so weird? Cool mom my mom's cool,
- 1:50:57Speaker 1: But I can't your parents be cool?
- 1:50:58Speaker 11: Yeah?
- 1:50:59Speaker 3: I would like to know the friend the surrounding friend
- 1:51:01Speaker 3: group because I always say, and you know that, I
- 1:51:04Speaker 3: go back to that saying show me your friends. I'll
- 1:51:07Speaker 3: show you your funeral truth, right, like true? Who is
- 1:51:10Speaker 3: this person hanging around?
- 1:51:12Speaker 1: Yeah? How is? I'd be interested to know more about
- 1:51:15Speaker 1: the mom? Is the is the mom?
- 1:51:17Speaker 4: Yeah?
- 1:51:17Speaker 1: What's crazy. I mean, she's she's not making good decisions,
- 1:51:20Speaker 1: but you know what I mean, like little toxic because
- 1:51:22Speaker 1: they always say like, if you want to know guys,
- 1:51:23Speaker 1: you know the future. Yeah, take take a look at
- 1:51:26Speaker 1: your at your girlfriend or your fiance's mom, because that's
- 1:51:29Speaker 1: your future. Yeah, she's just gonna turn into her Yeah yikes. Yeah,
- 1:51:33Speaker 1: it's crazy.
- 1:51:34Speaker 6: But like you said, it sounds like she's doing everything.
- 1:51:37Speaker 6: Gabrielle is doing everything she can do and it's being ignored.
- 1:51:40Speaker 3: So how much more can she undermind?
- 1:51:42Speaker 1: Yeah? Exactly, not even just ignored. It's being ignored by
- 1:51:45Speaker 1: the sun, but it's being undermined, like you can't. It's
- 1:51:48Speaker 1: parent other people's kids. Yeah, anyway, weird, do it? Gabrielle
- 1:51:52Speaker 1: eight seven seven forty four what text over to two
- 1:51:54Speaker 1: two nine eight seven. It's a hell of a story
