French gov't cuts 2026 economic growth forecast to 0.7 pct
France has cut its 2026 economic growth forecast to 0.7 percent, the second downward revision this year. The previous estimate was 0.9 percent. In mid-April, the government lowered the forecast from 1.0 percent, citing the impact of tensions in the Middle East.
