- 0:01Hello and welcome to the Everyday Eurasia podcast,
- 0:05Inspiring Faith for Every day. Each day we are on a journey
- 0:09with Jesus in our churches, our homes, our very places, and in
- 0:14so many different places around the world.
- 0:17Isn't it beautiful that no matter where we are, we can walk
- 0:21with him every single day? Jesus is the one who connects us
- 0:25all and stands at the very center of our lives day after
- 0:29day. Through this podcast, you'll
- 0:31hear voices from across the region.
- 0:34Pastor Nizar Tuma, born in Nazareth and a devoted servant
- 0:38of faith since becoming a believer in 1985.
- 0:41He was ordained in 1990 and has spent decades in ministry,
- 0:46including ten years in Jerusalem and over 26 years in Nazareth.
- 0:50He's married to his wife, Katie. With home.
- 0:53He shares three children and two grandchildren.
- 0:56Today he serves as the District Superintendent of the Holy Land
- 1:00District. Good morning again, everyone.
- 1:03This is Pastor Nazar from Nazareth and I'm standing here
- 1:08this morning to share with you another podcast and standing
- 1:15here at the Mount of Precipice in Nazareth.
- 1:18It's a mountain that overlooks Nazareth.
- 1:22I'll give you a quick history and a view of what we are
- 1:26looking at and then I will share my heart with you today.
- 1:33So this is Mount Tabor thus far, and it's one of those areas
- 1:43where Transfiguration took place and one of the historical
- 1:48places. And if I move to the right, you
- 1:52will be watching with me the Jezreel Valley that's also
- 1:56mentioned in the Bible, the Jezreel Valley.
- 1:59And it's we are in winter and it's just a beautiful time where
- 2:04things are still wet and still having some rain.
- 2:07As you can see, it's cloudy. And then to your right all the
- 2:13way, all these mountains, in the end there are the Mount Carmel
- 2:19and the city of Haifa. Further down here is the Megiddo
- 2:25Valley. This is where the Armageddon,
- 2:30the last war that will take place in this area as mentioned
- 2:34in the Bible. And if I continue turning to the
- 2:39right in a almost into a whole circle, this is the city of
- 2:43Nazareth. This is where I live and serve.
- 2:47This is where the Church of the Nazarene is a light to the city.
- 2:52All the believers send their love and greetings to all of you
- 2:56guys who are watching. This is Nazareth city from the
- 3:00top of Mount Precipice. Now I still want to continue
- 3:08sharing with you what the Lord have laid on my heart, the day
- 3:14of judgment. That day we will not be included
- 3:21in because Jesus have paid the price for us that we don't have
- 3:26to worry about standing at the day of judgment to be judged.
- 3:31We all remember Romans 81, for there is no judgment, for no
- 3:37condemnation, unbelievers, those who are walking according to the
- 3:44Spirit, not to the flesh. So I just take you back one step
- 3:50into what I have been sharing about the veil.
- 3:53So when the veil was removed, basically what happened was that
- 3:57Jesus took in Himself our condemnation.
- 3:59He took on Himself our sins. He paid that price that we don't
- 4:04have to pay. The fire of condemnation came on
- 4:08Him. He carried that pain for us, for
- 4:12our salvation so we can enjoy the freedom in life.
- 4:16God has been good to us all these years, and now we have
- 4:20come to a point where we are free.
- 4:23We're free to enter the to the presence of God, free to
- 4:27worship, free to pray, with no mediators, with no participation
- 4:33of people. And no one can take an
- 4:37appointment for us. No, no, no need for us to
- 4:41reserve time, but we can at any given moment just kneel down and
- 4:45pray and worship and seek God. So watching this beautiful view
- 4:50out here, if you can just look again at the green, the green
- 4:55pastures. These are beautiful pastures.
- 5:00I just take this picture and think about our life that was
- 5:04given by Christ, that is fruitful, that is flourishing,
- 5:09that is successful, that is blessed.
- 5:12And I don't have to go to sleep and worry about being judged or
- 5:17being condemned. I am no more under that kind of
- 5:21curse. Have given my life to Him.
- 5:24I, with everyone of you, have given His life to Him.
- 5:28And now we live this freedom and we enjoy these moments of
- 5:32celebration. I want to call on you, if you
- 5:36have not yet given your life totally to Jesus and not living
- 5:41yet the freedom that you have given to all of us today, go
- 5:46into your chamber and pray and seek His face again.
- 5:50You see, when I am standing at this mountain, I just remind
- 5:53myself that we live as believers spiritually on the top of a
- 5:58mountain. Mountains have a great
- 6:00significance in the Bible, as you all know.
- 6:03You know, Mount Carmel, Mount Tabor, and also Mount Sinai,
- 6:08Mount Horeb, all these names that I mean, I can name many,
- 6:13many mountains, but still the idea is that when we go up to
- 6:18the mountain is that we're feeling closer, closer to God,
- 6:22closer to heaven. It's just a beautiful picture.
- 6:26I just want encourage you today that when you come to pray,
- 6:31remind yourself that you are not under any condemnation.
- 6:35Jesus have taken that on himself.
- 6:38He have given us freedom. He have lifted us up from the
- 6:41misery of this world and they've given us eternal life.
- 6:46So I want to encourage you today to be blessed, to move and to go
- 6:50witness for what the Lord has done for you and what he changed
- 6:55in your life. I commit the rest of this day
- 6:57into the Lord's hands. I commit you all into his hands.
- 7:01Celebrating today the freedom that we have in Jesus, The joy
- 7:06of the Lord. That is our that the joy of the
- 7:10Lord. That is our strength.
- 7:11Yes, it is our strength. I thank God for you again, and I
- 7:15send you all the love and the greetings from Nazareth.
- 7:19God bless you all. Amen.
