- 0:00Speaker 1: There's something about the warm summer air and a cold
- 0:02Speaker 1: corona with lime that makes the roar of the crowd
- 0:05Speaker 1: sound a lot like the roar of the waves.
- 0:07Speaker 2: That's because this is our playa, and the best seats
- 0:09Speaker 2: are always wherever you're sitting.
- 0:11Speaker 1: Whether it's a weeknight game under the lights or a
- 0:13Speaker 1: Sunday afternoon in the sun, you know baseball isn't about
- 0:16Speaker 1: rushing around. It's about settling in, letting the game come
- 0:19Speaker 1: to you. And nothing pairs better than an ice-cold corona.
- 0:24Speaker 3: Nothing.
- 0:25Speaker 2: So find your seat, your corona, and your lime. Because
- 0:29Speaker 2: real fans know the only thing better than nine innings

- 1:53Speaker 5: All right, all right, all right. Welcome back to another
- 2:01Speaker 5: episode of Ross and Rizzo Unfiltered. We are back stateside
- 2:06Speaker 5: after Rossi got a beatdown in our final round of golf.
- 2:11Speaker 5: Had an international eagle, Rossi, on 17. Yeah, you did. Yep,
- 2:16Speaker 5: down in Ireland.
- 2:18Speaker 1: And I birdied that hole, and it wasn't even... It
- 2:21Speaker 1: was so anticlimactic after your freaking chip-in eagle.
- 2:24Speaker 4: That was sick.
- 2:25Speaker 5: What a trip. What a trip. That was incredible. I
- 2:28Speaker 5: have the golf bug bad right now, Rossi. Bad.
- 2:31Speaker 4: I'm going today. See my outfit? See my fit?
- 2:33Speaker 1: By the way, I like you rocking the dolphins. You're
- 2:37Speaker 1: supporting your guys.
- 2:38Speaker 5: Yeah, it's the best time of the year. Football's back.
- 2:41Speaker 5: Playoff baseball, which we're going to talk about here in
- 2:43Speaker 5: a second. But, I mean... It's going to be a
- 2:45Speaker 5: very long year for me and my Dolphins. And I
- 2:49Speaker 5: have to show my son what loyalty looks like with
- 2:52Speaker 5: being a fan. And I'm going to be honest with you, Rossi.
- 2:56Speaker 5: I look at the schedule for the Dolphins as a fan.
- 2:59Speaker 5: I don't see us winning a game at all. I
- 3:02Speaker 5: see an 0-17 coming.
- 3:04Speaker 1: Oh, man.
- 3:06Speaker 5: The Jets won, which helps because now we probably locked
- 3:09Speaker 5: up the first pick overall next year, which is good.
- 3:12Speaker 5: But gosh, man. I think I'm going to hop on
- 3:16Speaker 5: the Bears and the Giants train. Just root for them.
- 3:19Speaker 5: You know, be in the bandwagon. Yeah, that's fun.
- 3:21Speaker 4: Yeah, the Bears are fun to watch right now. That's
- 3:23Speaker 4: for sure. That's for sure.
- 3:24Speaker 5: Yeah, maybe we get Arch Manning to Miami.
- 3:27Speaker 4: Oh, I love that.
- 3:28Speaker 5: I love that.
- 3:28Speaker 4: Let's go.
- 3:29Speaker 5: I would love a Manning brother in Miami. It's in
- 3:31Speaker 5: the blood. Winners in the blood. Nice. Well, let's get
- 3:36Speaker 5: into it, Rossi. Big week of baseball. Two weeks left
- 3:38Speaker 5: of the regular season. Big AL Central showdown with the
- 3:43Speaker 5: Guardians and White Sox. Yankees clinch. We had an immaculate inning.
- 3:48Speaker 5: We had all sorts of fun things happen. We had
- 3:51Speaker 5: the debut from a Dodger who looks like a young
- 3:54Speaker 5: Juan Soto. Acuna, Harper, Phillies drama all over the board.
- 4:00Speaker 5: It was a good week of baseball. I'm excited to
- 4:02Speaker 5: get into it.
- 4:04Speaker 1: We got a packed show. We got a packed show.
- 4:06Speaker 1: And these playoff races are heating up. We got about
- 4:08Speaker 1: two weeks, a little less than two weeks left, 12,
- 4:10Speaker 1: 13 games left. it's go time. And I love that
- 4:15Speaker 1: a lot of these teams, you know, talking about the
- 4:17Speaker 1: White Sox, like it's getting nitty-gritty right now in that
- 4:20Speaker 1: series with Cleveland.
- 4:23Speaker 4: Like, I mean, that was a big-time game last night.
- 4:25Speaker 1: And, you know, a little bit of drama, and that's
- 4:28Speaker 1: a really good at bat, a guy fouling off.
- 4:31Speaker 4: A million pitches, seeing, was it an 18-pitch at bat,
- 4:34Speaker 4: something crazy?
- 4:35Speaker 5: Yeah, it was nice, crazy, by the banana, Savannah Banana, Peters.
- 4:39Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 4:41Speaker 4: That was an A-B.
- 4:42Speaker 1: I remember, we'll get to that a little bit later,
- 4:44Speaker 1: but I remember a really good at-bat that you had.
- 4:48Speaker 4: Yeah, you've been there.
- 4:49Speaker 1: And I watched one of those, Alex Cora, when I was,
- 4:52Speaker 1: he took Clement deep after, I think he had like
- 4:56Speaker 1: a 12 or 13, 14 pitch at-bat.
- 4:58Speaker 4: I forget how many it was. I should have looked
- 4:59Speaker 4: that up before we got on. But that's fun. That's fun.
- 5:02Speaker 4: Fun time for baseball right now.
- 5:05Speaker 5: Fun time for baseball right now. Fun time. Yankees clinch yesterday.
- 5:10Speaker 5: which is big for them. I'm happy to see them celebrating. Honestly, Rossi,
- 5:14Speaker 5: they clinch a playoff spot, playoff berth. They have a
- 5:18Speaker 5: massive series coming up versus the Rays this weekend, which
- 5:23Speaker 5: is basically for the division. They need to basically sweep
- 5:25Speaker 5: them if they want to have any chance of winning
- 5:27Speaker 5: the division. I'm sorry, it's coming up next Monday. But, man,
- 5:32Speaker 5: Aaron Judge hitting his first home run. Clem Schlittler looks
- 5:37Speaker 5: like he has the Cy Young locked up. Anthony Volpe
- 5:40Speaker 5: back up. They're in the playoffs. How good can this
- 5:44Speaker 5: team be, Rossi? I mean, I know I'm biased for
- 5:46Speaker 5: the Yankees, but I want to hear your take.
- 5:48Speaker 4: Well, I mean, obviously, Judge is the key in that
- 5:51Speaker 4: homer last night. It's funny.
- 5:53Speaker 1: I've just been listening to everybody just kind of bash
- 5:56Speaker 1: him on not going on a rehab assignment. So I
- 5:59Speaker 1: looked up some numbers. In 2023, when he had that
- 6:01Speaker 1: toe issue and was out for a good bit, his
- 6:04Speaker 1: first nine games, he's five for 27 with eight punches.
- 6:08Speaker 1: That's a buck 85 batting average in his first nine games.
- 6:13Speaker 1: His first six games back so far and hitting the
- 6:16Speaker 1: home run last night, he's four for 21 with 11 Ks, right?
- 6:19Speaker 1: So similar kind of path, not starting off great. And
- 6:25Speaker 1: we can talk about- Yeah, but the team's three and one.
- 6:28Speaker 1: They're winning, no doubt. Well, his presence, that's what I'm
- 6:31Speaker 1: getting to. So his presence is, one, a factor already. Like,
- 6:34Speaker 1: you can't take him for granted. He's making everybody in
- 6:37Speaker 1: that lineup better, that lineup deeper. But when you go
- 6:40Speaker 1: back to 2023 and you talk about the 57 games
- 6:43Speaker 1: after that injury, including that slow start, he ended with
- 6:46Speaker 1: a 966 OPS. Like, he's going to be fine. And
- 6:50Speaker 1: you can train on the trajectory all you want. Like,
- 6:52Speaker 1: it's going to help your timing a little bit, but
- 6:54Speaker 1: there's nothing like getting live reps. And when you go
- 6:56Speaker 1: down to a minor league, you know, one, it's Aaron Judge,
- 6:58Speaker 1: one of the best players in the game. But when
- 7:00Speaker 1: you go down to a minor league rehab start, there's,
- 7:03Speaker 1: You know, a lot of variables. Everybody's going to be
- 7:05Speaker 1: trying to get out Aaron Judge. Who's going to pitch
- 7:07Speaker 1: him in? Could he get hit, break a hand? You know,
- 7:09Speaker 1: little things like that that, you know, I'm not willing
- 7:11Speaker 1: to take that risk if he's not willing to take
- 7:14Speaker 1: it if I'm his manager. So good to see him
- 7:16Speaker 1: hit that absolute.
- 7:19Speaker 5: Bomb last night. Off A.J. Minter, too. That's a, I mean,
- 7:23Speaker 5: back in bullpen. The game was still within reach. I mean,
- 7:27Speaker 5: that's big for Haywood. Late in the game.
- 7:33Speaker 4: The captain's back.
- 7:36Speaker 5: The captain's back. I mean, that's real though, bro. Everyone
- 7:42Speaker 5: in that clubhouse feeds off of his energy, right? So
- 7:46Speaker 5: to see him back, I know you said he has
- 7:48Speaker 5: 11K since coming back, but that's one thing about Aaron
- 7:51Speaker 5: that he does a lot. He strikes out a lot regardless.
- 7:54Speaker 5: So the fact that he already has a few hits
- 7:58Speaker 5: under his belt, the team's three and one, he's hits
- 8:01Speaker 5: a home run that they're in Minnesota. He always rakes
- 8:04Speaker 5: in Minnesota. So it's, it's good timing for them. And
- 8:08Speaker 5: I mean, bro, as, as he heats up that entire
- 8:11Speaker 5: lineup heats up. So it's, yeah. It's impressive.
- 8:16Speaker 1: Just his presence. He could stand in the box and
- 8:19Speaker 1: he's going to make the team better. Like it doesn't
- 8:20Speaker 1: matter if he even takes a swing.
- 8:22Speaker 4: Right.
- 8:22Speaker 1: So the fact that that was obviously a good sign
- 8:24Speaker 1: and probably makes him feel really good, but Um, the Yankees,
- 8:27Speaker 1: like you said, Cam Schlittler.
- 8:29Speaker 5: Well, the rehab though, Rossi, the rehab is like you said,
- 8:36Speaker 5: rehab is not Aaron judge can go on a rehab
- 8:38Speaker 5: assignment for maximum, in my opinion of one game, right?
- 8:43Speaker 5: You go down, Oh, this is fun for one game.
- 8:45Speaker 5: And then you're like, all right, what the fuck am
- 8:46Speaker 5: I doing here? Right. Yeah. The big leagues is up here.
- 8:51Speaker 5: The minor league level is down here. So yeah.
- 8:54Speaker 1: And it's not the same intensity, right? Like you don't,
- 8:57Speaker 1: you don't get the same adrenaline. You're just in there
- 8:59Speaker 1: getting your reps. It's like a backfield at bat.
- 9:02Speaker 5: And you don't know any of the players really down there.
- 9:04Speaker 5: You're not really as familiar with the staff. It's very uncomfortable.
- 9:07Speaker 5: Your routine's all out of whack to where he just
- 9:12Speaker 5: hits off the traject. He got live at bats. He
- 9:14Speaker 5: knows himself. He's a veteran. He's a pro. He's a
- 9:16Speaker 5: three-time MVP. Right. So yeah, I'm, I'm, I'm excited for him.
- 9:21Speaker 5: I'm like, That's him saying, fuck this. I don't need
- 9:24Speaker 5: a rehab. I'm back. I'm healthy. Let's go. And I
- 9:27Speaker 5: knew he wanted to come back earlier. And even better
- 9:31Speaker 5: at Rossi, he blew out his manager's knee. Did you
- 9:34Speaker 5: see that with Booney?
- 9:36Speaker 4: I saw that. I saw that.
- 9:38Speaker 5: Booney's getting old. That's up there with Sammy sneezing in
- 9:43Speaker 5: the shower and blowing an oblique. But I love Booney's
- 9:47Speaker 5: press conference saying he was day-to-day.
- 9:49Speaker 3: That was great.
- 9:50Speaker 4: That's hilarious. That's hilarious. And the Yankees are starting to
- 9:53Speaker 4: hit on all cylinders.
- 9:54Speaker 1: That Tampa Bay series will be fun, like you said.
- 9:58Speaker 1: And they've clinched. with a big home run from Caminero.
- 10:02Speaker 1: What a cool little moment.
- 10:03Speaker 4: For the Rays. They're legit. They're real.
- 10:06Speaker 1: They've been consistent all year, and it's going to be
- 10:08Speaker 1: a fun little battle. And then we might get a
- 10:12Speaker 1: little Yankees. It's looking like we're going to get a
- 10:13Speaker 1: little Yankees Red Sox first round of the playoffs.
- 10:17Speaker 5: Yeah, that's going to be NBC. I'll be on that call.
- 10:19Speaker 5: That's going to be fun. I played in that, played
- 10:23Speaker 5: in the one-game wild card in 2021, but now to
- 10:26Speaker 5: be able to call it if it's Yankees Red Sox,
- 10:28Speaker 5: that's the showdown it's looking like. I mean, Cam Schlitter,
- 10:32Speaker 5: I heard Harold Reynolds talking about how he would throw games.
- 10:37Speaker 5: Garrett Cole as the game one starter. He was talking
- 10:40Speaker 5: about that last night and I was like, what? Are
- 10:41Speaker 5: you crazy? No offense to Garrett Cole. Cam Schlittler right
- 10:45Speaker 5: now is an absolute beast on the mound. I mean,
- 10:50Speaker 5: and he talks shit too, which I love. He takes
- 10:52Speaker 5: things so personally. He has that edge.
- 10:55Speaker 1: There was MVP. I was watching MLB Network yesterday. They
- 10:59Speaker 1: were talking MVP type votes.
- 11:01Speaker 4: That he might get. I mean, Cam's been, you know,
- 11:03Speaker 4: I don't really believe in giving the MVP to a pitcher.
- 11:07Speaker 1: No offense, that's what the Cy Young's for, but my goodness,
- 11:10Speaker 1: I mean, he's been so good, and he's been so
- 11:12Speaker 1: consistent for them, and the way he looked his last start,
- 11:15Speaker 1: I mean, he was absolutely dominant against, who were they playing,
- 11:20Speaker 1: the Braves?
- 11:22Speaker 5: No, the Mets. The Mets, and he came out, and
- 11:25Speaker 5: he goes, he said in his post-game press conference, he
- 11:28Speaker 5: was like, yeah, I was pissed off because it seemed
- 11:30Speaker 5: like there's a lot of Mets fans here yesterday because
- 11:32Speaker 5: they lost the game before, so I wanted to shut
- 11:34Speaker 5: that down real quick, right? And he's from Boston. He's
- 11:39Speaker 5: talked shit to the fans on Twitter or X. I mean,
- 11:43Speaker 5: I love it, bro. He's a dog. And I've heard
- 11:46Speaker 5: nothing but good things about him from the inside there.
- 11:48Speaker 5: Do you think he can legit win the MVP?
- 11:54Speaker 1: You know, for me, Jordan with the Triple Crown would
- 11:57Speaker 1: be who I would– that's where I would lean. You know,
- 12:00Speaker 1: Houston's been kind of just– Meh, but leading, you know,
- 12:05Speaker 1: that whole division is kind of right around 500. But
- 12:10Speaker 1: Triple Crown, you've got to win the MVP if.
- 12:13Speaker 4: You're able to do that.
- 12:13Speaker 1: Jordan's been an absolute beast all season, too. And, you know,
- 12:16Speaker 1: 34 starts, you know, there was a little bit of
- 12:19Speaker 1: a debate on is the DH similar to a pitcher?
- 12:22Speaker 4: No.
- 12:22Speaker 1: Like, he's getting four or five at-bats every night playing,
- 12:26Speaker 1: you know, 160, 160-something games. You know, I know he's
- 12:31Speaker 1: hurt for a little bit, but they– The pitchers, I
- 12:34Speaker 1: know how valuable they are, but that's what the Cy
- 12:36Speaker 1: Young's for for me.
- 12:38Speaker 5: Yeah, I mean, I remember you used to say, as
- 12:40Speaker 5: valuable as they are, they only play in 32 games
- 12:43Speaker 5: a year, right?
- 12:44Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 12:44Speaker 5: Max.
- 12:45Speaker 4: Yeah, Max.
- 12:46Speaker 1: And they don't even play the whole game. Rarely do
- 12:49Speaker 1: they play the whole game. It's like seven innings, seven,
- 12:52Speaker 1: eight innings max.
- 12:53Speaker 5: I agree with you on it's hard to give it
- 12:56Speaker 5: to a pitcher, but man, what he's doing this year.
- 12:58Speaker 4: He's impressive. I'm glad he's in the conversation because that's real.
- 13:02Speaker 5: He'll definitely be runner-up if not first. He'll be in
- 13:06Speaker 5: the top three, that's for sure.
- 13:09Speaker 1: Talking about the Yankees hitting on all cylinders, they got
- 13:11Speaker 1: Volpe playing second base, comes back first game, hitting the
- 13:15Speaker 1: oppo home run. You know how valuable it is, not
- 13:19Speaker 1: just the performance of the players, but the vibe they
- 13:22Speaker 1: bring and the fact of that energy when you come
- 13:25Speaker 1: back and there's question marks and you go deep your
- 13:28Speaker 1: first game back and would chism out. You know, that's
- 13:32Speaker 1: a whole thing, right? Like the guys got him. You
- 13:34Speaker 1: saw how happy they were for him. Lombard was pumped
- 13:40Speaker 1: on the top step, just, you know, as excited as
- 13:43Speaker 1: you could possibly be. That carries weight in the locker
- 13:47Speaker 1: room and just another reason to build momentum for the Yankees.
- 13:50Speaker 5: No doubt. And him coming back, I mean, he said it.
- 13:53Speaker 5: He's like, I didn't think I'd ever be back here, right?
- 13:55Speaker 5: And that's real. That's human to human, right? He basically
- 13:59Speaker 5: got booed out of town, right? A lot of pressure,
- 14:03Speaker 5: get them out of here. And then at the deadline,
- 14:05Speaker 5: they didn't move them and then they send them down.
- 14:07Speaker 5: So from a human element, if I'm Anthony Volpe, I'm
- 14:12Speaker 5: pissed off, right? Like the Yankees just lost me, right?
- 14:15Speaker 5: I was here for three years and I know I
- 14:17Speaker 5: haven't been performing that well. And I know I need
- 14:19Speaker 5: to go down and make adjustments, which he did, which
- 14:22Speaker 5: is amazing. And, you know, talking to Anthony Volpe, He
- 14:25Speaker 5: said he got to go down there and just make
- 14:27Speaker 5: adjustments and go work day to day on getting back
- 14:31Speaker 5: to the player he knows he can be. So to
- 14:34Speaker 5: get the opportunity, he was ready. He's playing second base.
- 14:37Speaker 5: It's a lot easier of a position. Everyone who's transferred
- 14:41Speaker 5: from shortstop to second base. I remember talking to Starlin
- 14:44Speaker 5: Castro saying, man, second base is so much easier, right?
- 14:47Speaker 5: So you just have a lot more time for him
- 14:51Speaker 5: to come back.
- 14:52Speaker 4: With guys coming.
- 14:54Speaker 1: when you come back and guys got a little bit
- 14:55Speaker 1: of chip on your shoulder rather than, you know, when
- 14:58Speaker 1: you're up struggling and you're thinking about kind of, what
- 15:02Speaker 1: was me?
- 15:02Speaker 4: I need to work. I need to get better. You
- 15:03Speaker 4: get sent down. Now I'm pissed.
- 15:05Speaker 1: Right. And now that just little extra competitiveness comes out
- 15:08Speaker 1: or that little bit of like, you know, I'm gonna
- 15:10Speaker 1: prove everybody wrong. That chip on guy's shoulder is valuable. And,
- 15:14Speaker 1: you know, hopefully for, for him and the Yankees.
- 15:17Speaker 5: No doubt, bro.
- 15:18Speaker 1: He's able to carry that. I think that's really valuable. We, we,
- 15:20Speaker 1: we saw, you know, guys like Kyle Schwarber get sent down.
- 15:23Speaker 1: You know, like, it happens.
- 15:24Speaker 5: Sent down, sent out. Ian Happ sent down. Yeah, I
- 15:28Speaker 5: got sent down. I mean, bro, the thing, too, though,
- 15:32Speaker 5: is beginning of the year, I think people forget, all
- 15:37Speaker 5: spring training, it's Anthony Volpe's job. It's Anthony Volpe's job.
- 15:40Speaker 5: When he's healthy, it's Volpe's job. There was never a
- 15:43Speaker 5: question mark. And now, on the outside looking in, I'm like, yeah,
- 15:48Speaker 5: they're going to slow play him through spring training. Give
- 15:51Speaker 5: Caballero a legit chance in April to prove himself. And
- 15:56Speaker 5: then I was like, Anthony's just an insurance policy at
- 15:59Speaker 5: this point. It seemed like they wanted Caballero to run
- 16:02Speaker 5: away with this job all along while saying, oh, no,
- 16:04Speaker 5: it's Volpe's job. And then all of a sudden, Volpe's
- 16:06Speaker 5: healthy and they option him, right? Because they had no
- 16:09Speaker 5: choice because Caballero was playing well. So right then and there,
- 16:12Speaker 5: in my opinion, you have a pissed off player, which
- 16:14Speaker 5: is fine. You want that chip, that edge. you're never
- 16:18Speaker 5: going to, he's such a good human being. He's such
- 16:20Speaker 5: a good person that you'll never actually lose him. But bro,
- 16:23Speaker 5: this is, you know what I mean? And then at
- 16:26Speaker 5: the deadline, he comes up and plays well, like not great,
- 16:31Speaker 5: but hopefully, you know, the send down to the minors,
- 16:34Speaker 5: hopefully unlock some things and just goes off because I
- 16:37Speaker 5: know the human being, I know the person and he's
- 16:40Speaker 5: such a good, good human being. I love rooting for him.
- 16:44Speaker 5: And that grand slam, that was like a proud father
- 16:46Speaker 5: moment for me.
- 16:49Speaker 1: That's nice man well the yankees are it looks like
- 16:52Speaker 1: they're they're right where they need to be and um
- 16:55Speaker 1: i don't know if they'll win the division.
- 16:56Speaker 5: Into the red socks yankees wild card showdown yankee stadium
- 17:05Speaker 5: how do you think it's gonna be drama you've earned
- 17:07Speaker 5: that rivalry rossi you'd fold at yankee stadium in a
- 17:10Speaker 5: three-game series.
- 17:11Speaker 4: Huh Buddy, I don't know. You just need to check
- 17:14Speaker 4: the resume. I've had a couple big moments in my day.
- 17:17Speaker 5: You do have two World Series rings. I mean, bro,
- 17:23Speaker 5: you played on two big markets, and when you get
- 17:28Speaker 5: to the playoffs with the two big markets, you win
- 17:29Speaker 5: the World Series. I played on two big markets. I
- 17:32Speaker 5: only have one World Series ring. Played in two.
- 17:36Speaker 4: You were a better player than I was, so it's
- 17:38Speaker 4: not about us. It's not about us. Let's talk playoffs.
- 17:41Speaker 4: But I know one thing.
- 17:42Speaker 1: That Major League Baseball, and it's good for the game
- 17:47Speaker 1: when those two organizations and those markets get together, and
- 17:51Speaker 1: that's the stuff we pay big money to go see.
- 17:53Speaker 4: I want to see the best of the best.
- 17:54Speaker 1: I want to see the big markets competing rivalry in
- 17:58Speaker 1: Yankee Stadium, all the drama.
- 18:00Speaker 4: It's going to be a good series.
- 18:02Speaker 5: It's going to be incredible. I can't wait. Hopefully that's
- 18:04Speaker 5: the way it plays out. There's still an outside chance
- 18:07Speaker 5: that the Yankees win the division. There's still a lot
- 18:09Speaker 5: of baseball to go, but the Red Sox... The Red
- 18:12Speaker 5: Sox are, like, for me, Rossi, the Red Sox like
- 18:16Speaker 5: heckle and jive, right? I love Chad Tracy. I love
- 18:20Speaker 5: what he's brought to the table. We have Peyton Tolley.
- 18:23Speaker 5: Let's get to Peyton Tolley's immaculate inning. I mean, bro.
- 18:27Speaker 4: This is amazing.
- 18:29Speaker 5: I absolutely love this guy. I don't think we've talked
- 18:32Speaker 5: about him nearly enough.
- 18:34Speaker 4: There's a smile.
- 18:35Speaker 5: Smirked to Andrew Bailey's pitching coach.
- 18:38Speaker 1: Maybe an immaculate inning. Look at him.
- 18:39Speaker 5: He's laughing.
- 18:43Speaker 4: He knew. I don't know that I would have known.
- 18:50Speaker 5: It's so good.
- 18:51Speaker 4: So good.
- 18:52Speaker 1: Former World Series champ with me in Boston 2013.
- 18:56Speaker 4: Andrew's a great pitching coach, great guy.
- 18:58Speaker 1: But, yeah, totally just he's one of those guys that
- 19:02Speaker 1: feels like he walks in the room.
- 19:03Speaker 5: That guy is full of energy.
- 19:05Speaker 1: It looks like he competes his tail off. You know,
- 19:07Speaker 1: a guy that we said it before when he was
- 19:10Speaker 1: our playa.
- 19:11Speaker 4: Player of the week.
- 19:12Speaker 1: He feels like a guy he's going to throw back
- 19:14Speaker 1: some beers with, so kudos to him. I had Hayden
- 19:18Speaker 1: Wisniewski pitch for me and had an immaculate inning, and
- 19:21Speaker 1: I didn't even know that it was happening. He's one
- 19:24Speaker 1: of those, like you're in the middle of watching the
- 19:26Speaker 1: game and competing, and they're competing, and I didn't know
- 19:30Speaker 1: until everybody celebrated right after.
- 19:31Speaker 4: You know, I think pitchers are more in tune. That's great.
- 19:34Speaker 4: So it's one of those, you're thinking about so many
- 19:36Speaker 4: other things.
- 19:37Speaker 5: Totally post-game interview, he goes, They go, when did you
- 19:40Speaker 5: start thinking about it? He goes, probably after I threw
- 19:43Speaker 5: the first two strikes of the inning. He's like, I
- 19:46Speaker 5: probably think about things a little too early. I probably
- 19:49Speaker 5: shouldn't do that. It just seems like he has such
- 19:52Speaker 5: a good time. The fact that he could slow the
- 19:54Speaker 5: game down that much and look into the dugout with
- 19:58Speaker 5: that smirk is everything for me. That's the guy I
- 20:02Speaker 5: want to play behind. A guy who can lock it
- 20:05Speaker 5: in when he needs to. kind of shut it off,
- 20:08Speaker 5: but still be focused. I mean, I love it. I
- 20:10Speaker 5: remember all the time when I was up at the plate,
- 20:12Speaker 5: I'd be looking in the dugout at guys, you know,
- 20:15Speaker 5: give them a little wink or a smirk saying like,
- 20:17Speaker 5: I got this. Right. So I love seeing that. I did.
- 20:21Speaker 1: You had a good way about you when you played,
- 20:23Speaker 1: you had a good way when, like when you were,
- 20:25Speaker 1: you know, in that rundown with Freddie Freeman and calling Frederick,
- 20:28Speaker 1: you know, like those moments, the guys that have fun
- 20:31Speaker 1: and still are a kid when they play. And the
- 20:32Speaker 1: fact he knew, uh, And then he wears 98 right
- 20:36Speaker 1: down the middle.
- 20:36Speaker 4: He's like, you know what? I, I, I'm not going
- 20:39Speaker 4: to throw a ball here. I'm coming right. If you,
- 20:40Speaker 4: you get a hit, I don't care, but I'm going
- 20:42Speaker 4: to put this on the resume. And he did it.
- 20:44Speaker 4: That was cool.
- 20:46Speaker 5: And, and a shout out to him as well, dude.
- 20:48Speaker 5: He just had a big charity event at a, I
- 20:52Speaker 5: believe it was a golf outing and maybe a top golf,
- 20:55Speaker 5: but raising money and awareness for kids who have lost
- 20:59Speaker 5: their parents or a sibling. So Just all around good
- 21:03Speaker 5: human being. I know he lost his mom to cancer.
- 21:06Speaker 5: It's a tough story. He wears the logo on his glove.
- 21:12Speaker 5: I think it says, like, I think you're sexy or
- 21:14Speaker 5: something like that. You look sexy or something like that. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 21:17Speaker 5: I mean, I love that. That's the Jekyll part, right?
- 21:23Speaker 5: Jekyll's happy. Hyde is not happy.
- 21:25Speaker 4: Jekyll and Hyde. Jekyll and Hyde.
- 21:26Speaker 5: Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. And then the Hyde part is, bro,
- 21:29Speaker 5: this Red Sox team, it's like every time you look up,
- 21:32Speaker 5: at least once a month, there's some bullshit drama going on.
- 21:36Speaker 5: Whether it's guys chirping at fans, not talking to the media,
- 21:41Speaker 5: and then you look up and Wilson, our boy, World
- 21:44Speaker 5: Series champion, loving to death, completely showtimes a minor league
- 21:49Speaker 5: umpire in Portland. That was great.
- 21:55Speaker 4: Bro, we know how Wilson is.
- 21:57Speaker 1: He's just an emotional guy, wears his heart on his sleeve,
- 22:00Speaker 1: but Like as I was watching that, I was kind
- 22:02Speaker 1: of getting pissed at the umpire too. I'm like, this
- 22:04Speaker 1: is a rehab assignment. Like the minor leagues are to
- 22:09Speaker 1: prep for the big leagues. And I know that maybe
- 22:11Speaker 1: the umpires don't care about that, but the guy just
- 22:12Speaker 1: wanted to get a little pine tar. Last thing you
- 22:14Speaker 1: want is to lose the bat on a back swing.
- 22:18Speaker 5: These dudes, Rossi, these minor league umpires, he probably had
- 22:22Speaker 5: his evaluator in the stands, right? They know when they're,
- 22:26Speaker 5: they're getting evaluated and they're in person. Um, they're told
- 22:31Speaker 5: not to give any special treatment, right? And it's like,
- 22:33Speaker 5: I agree with you, bro. When you're on a big
- 22:35Speaker 5: league rehab assignment, you give the little extra cushion, right?
- 22:38Speaker 5: He needed a pine bar. He didn't get it. Now,
- 22:42Speaker 5: the way he acted after not getting it is, is Wilson.
- 22:46Speaker 4: It's Wilson. It's Wilson.
- 22:48Speaker 5: I mean, he just punted on the at-bats. Bro, that's just,
- 22:52Speaker 5: in my, like, come on, man. There's people there that
- 22:54Speaker 5: are excited to see you. Portland is, is an amazing
- 22:59Speaker 5: minor league city. I'm a Portland Seadog Hall of Famer.
- 23:02Speaker 5: Not about me.
- 23:03Speaker 4: Sorry about it.
- 23:04Speaker 5: They pack out there, and there could be– the sad
- 23:09Speaker 5: part is there could be kids there watching that game going, Dad, Mom, Dad,
- 23:13Speaker 5: why did he not– why did he do that, right?
- 23:16Speaker 1: Sure.
- 23:16Speaker 5: That's the part where it's just a little disappointing. It's like,
- 23:19Speaker 5: come on, man. There's a lot of people that are
- 23:21Speaker 5: excited to see you play, and that's what you did, right?
- 23:25Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 23:25Speaker 5: But, again, he's an emotional player. One day he's not
- 23:29Speaker 5: running hard to first. and he's getting booed by his
- 23:32Speaker 5: own fans, the next day he's sliding headfirst in the first, right? So,
- 23:36Speaker 5: Jekyll and Hyde.
- 23:37Speaker 4: We've seen it.
- 23:38Speaker 1: We've seen it for sure. And he's back in the
- 23:40Speaker 1: big leagues now. And, you know, with Roman Anthony back,
- 23:43Speaker 1: they need him. You know, their start, again, their lineup's
- 23:46Speaker 1: gotten a lot deeper with guys that have come back,
- 23:49Speaker 1: and they've got a really good pitching staff.
- 23:50Speaker 4: Like, we've already touched on it.
- 23:53Speaker 5: You have Toley and Sonny Gray lined up against Schlittler,
- 23:59Speaker 5: And who would be the game two starter for the Yankees? Freed, Rodon, Cole?
- 24:04Speaker 4: I would, yeah, Freed.
- 24:06Speaker 1: I love, yeah, some version of that. I think in
- 24:10Speaker 1: that three-game series, it'd probably be Cam, Freed, Cole, you know,
- 24:15Speaker 1: and I don't know if Rodon. I hadn't looked at
- 24:19Speaker 1: how he's been pitching late, but they're going to go
- 24:20Speaker 1: with the hot hand and the dudes. And then you've got, well,
- 24:23Speaker 1: we've got Sonny Gray, Toley.
- 24:26Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 24:27Speaker 1: Well, and they've got a really good bullpen, too, that
- 24:29Speaker 1: they can go to that we've talked about with Chappie
- 24:32Speaker 1: on the back end.
- 24:32Speaker 4: And, you know, they're loaded.
- 24:36Speaker 1: Guys, we were on the number one team in the world,
- 24:40Speaker 1: so it only makes sense that we partner with the

- 25:33Speaker 5: How about some good drama in the city of brotherly love?
- 25:37Speaker 5: Our producer, Chris Tran, hates to see Ronald Acuna, and
- 25:42Speaker 5: so does the Philadelphia Phillies come into town. He absolutely
- 25:46Speaker 5: torches the Phillies, and he loves playing villain, Rossi.
- 25:50Speaker 4: Yeah, I mean, like the... Bryce plays with a chip
- 25:54Speaker 4: on his shoulder.
- 25:55Speaker 1: He always has, you know, a little bit of that
- 25:57Speaker 1: superstar that plays with an edge. And, um, you know,
- 26:00Speaker 1: when these two teams go at it and they're chasing
- 26:03Speaker 1: each other, even when I play for the Braves, the
- 26:05Speaker 1: Phillies were the dominant team and, and, and, you know,
- 26:08Speaker 1: just that they were loaded with holiday Hamels Lee. Um,
- 26:13Speaker 1: they were, they were, you know, and they had worth
- 26:15Speaker 1: and Howard and Rollins. And I mean, they were up
- 26:17Speaker 1: in Utley. They were just loaded and Victorino shout out Vic. Um,
- 26:23Speaker 1: These two organizations don't like each other, and especially the
- 26:26Speaker 1: Braves have been really consistent all year and playing great baseball,
- 26:28Speaker 1: and the Phillies have kind of turned it on since
- 26:31Speaker 1: Donnie Baseball took over. And, you know, the home run
- 26:35Speaker 1: where Acuna has a little bit of that slow play
- 26:38Speaker 1: and that long trot around the base.
- 26:40Speaker 5: 34 seconds.
- 26:41Speaker 1: Yeah, 34 seconds. I'm like, that's a slow trot. And
- 26:45Speaker 1: so Bryce gives it back to him with the big
- 26:47Speaker 1: homer that he hit, and then the drama when Acuna–
- 26:51Speaker 1: He's got that little bit, likes the villain. He gives
- 26:54Speaker 1: a curtain call in Philadelphia after he hits the slow
- 26:57Speaker 1: homer and getting booed. They don't like each other. They're
- 27:00Speaker 1: two really good teams. That's another matchup that would be
- 27:03Speaker 1: fun in the postseason if those two teams meet.
- 27:07Speaker 5: They just saw each other seven times in the last
- 27:09Speaker 5: 11 days. Braves went 4-3. That's all you really need
- 27:14Speaker 5: to do is just play 500 baseball right now and
- 27:16Speaker 5: keep that lead. And I'm surprised guys still get so
- 27:23Speaker 5: pissed off, but that's the beauty of these rivalries and
- 27:25Speaker 5: these division games is it's not the one home. It's
- 27:28Speaker 5: not this one slow trot that pisses you off. It's
- 27:33Speaker 5: the 50 games prior, right? Just an ad. It's an
- 27:37Speaker 5: ad up of built up. Like, I don't like you Acuna, right?
- 27:40Speaker 5: If you're the Phillies and same with Phillies fans to Bryce, right?
- 27:44Speaker 5: Bryce has terrorized the Phillies his entire career going back
- 27:47Speaker 5: with the nationals. So when he goes there and hits
- 27:49Speaker 5: that and does the slow trot.
- 27:52Speaker 1: The Braves have dominated them pretty consistently over the last
- 27:56Speaker 1: couple years but the Phillies have beaten them twice to
- 28:00Speaker 1: knock them out of the playoffs as of late so
- 28:03Speaker 1: you know that could be.
- 28:04Speaker 5: A that could be a wild card round matchup because
- 28:08Speaker 5: you got the Brewers and the Dodgers locking up the
- 28:11Speaker 5: top two seeds if the Dodgers lock up that top
- 28:13Speaker 5: seed and if the Phillies fall if the Phillies make
- 28:17Speaker 5: that third place wild card round we got ourselves a
- 28:22Speaker 5: Two division rival.
- 28:24Speaker 1: Well, that's another one where San Diego's playing so great, right? Tatis,
- 28:30Speaker 1: him and Bregman, I think, are leading baseball in OPS
- 28:33Speaker 1: in the second half. It's either that or since the
- 28:36Speaker 1: trade deadline. But they've turned it on. The Stars are
- 28:39Speaker 1: starting to be stars. And Jackson Merrill with the San Diego,
- 28:44Speaker 1: they're playing great. And they're one of the hottest teams
- 28:46Speaker 1: in baseball. The Cubs have kind of come back to
- 28:47Speaker 1: the pack a little bit. As well as the Phillies,
- 28:50Speaker 1: because it's all neck and neck right there. Arizona's playing well.
- 28:54Speaker 1: Big home run from Corbin Carroll last night. Walk off
- 28:58Speaker 1: in the.
- 28:58Speaker 4: Ninth, two-run homer. Like, that was, you know, there's some
- 29:01Speaker 4: drama in the National League. Yep.
- 29:03Speaker 1: There's some drama in the National League that's going to
- 29:05Speaker 1: be really fun down the stretch.
- 29:06Speaker 5: I love drama. I feel like we have a 2011-esque
- 29:09Speaker 5: finish coming, where the last game of the season, man,
- 29:12Speaker 5: everyone's going to be watching. Everyone's going to be on
- 29:14Speaker 5: their toes.
- 29:16Speaker 4: That'll be fun. We'll be watching. We'll be tuning in. Well,
- 29:19Speaker 4: speaking of which, let's talk a little Corona player of
- 29:24Speaker 4: the week is Jackson Merrill.
- 29:26Speaker 1: Shout out to him. Jackson has absolutely dominated here.
- 29:32Speaker 4: As of late.
- 29:33Speaker 1: I think that's a big part of why the San
- 29:37Speaker 1: Diego has done a great job of kind of, you know,
- 29:39Speaker 1: I think they've won by eight or nine in a
- 29:41Speaker 1: row as of now, but National League Player of the
- 29:43Speaker 1: Week after hitting 480, three home runs with 12 RBIs,
- 29:47Speaker 1: had nine RBIs in a three-game sweep against the Nats.
- 29:51Speaker 4: I mean, he absolutely torched those guys.
- 29:53Speaker 5: Torching. And again, when he gets rolling, that lineup lengthens out.
- 29:58Speaker 5: He plays amazing center field. Again, like you said, Rossi,
- 30:03Speaker 5: which I love, the stars are going to be stars, man.
- 30:06Speaker 5: I mean, Machado's hitting. Fernando Tatis is hitting. Jackson Merrill
- 30:10Speaker 5: is our playa, corona play of the week, right?
- 30:13Speaker 4: Playa!
- 30:15Speaker 5: The stars are stars, man. And at the end of
- 30:17Speaker 5: the year, some years will be down years, but at
- 30:19Speaker 5: the end, they're always going to fill out that back
- 30:22Speaker 5: of the baseball card, which I love.
- 30:24Speaker 4: And that's a dangerous team.
- 30:25Speaker 1: That's a dangerous team going into postseason and how they've
- 30:27Speaker 1: played in the second half.
- 30:29Speaker 4: You know, kudos.
- 30:30Speaker 5: Oh, yeah.
- 30:30Speaker 1: Kudos to their GM for, you know, believing in that team.
- 30:38Speaker 1: You know, they were kind of, I don't know if
- 30:40Speaker 1: anybody believed him offensively, they were just dead in the
- 30:42Speaker 1: first half and still making a push to go get
- 30:45Speaker 1: real pitching at the deadline. You know, it was a
- 30:51Speaker 1: big move and they made him look good.
- 30:54Speaker 4: Yep.
- 30:54Speaker 5: Shout out to Jackson for our playa of the week,
- 30:56Speaker 5: but also got a hit on PCA, I know he's
- 31:00Speaker 5: a Corona sponsor, so this fills in perfectly. Ties Billy
- 31:04Speaker 5: Williams with his 42nd home run for all-time left-handed home
- 31:09Speaker 5: runs as a Cub. Sweet swinging, Billy Williams.
- 31:12Speaker 3: He's got the swing here, right here.
- 31:24Speaker 5: He is your MVP. Tell him, Boog. Tell him.
- 31:29Speaker 4: Shout out, Boo. Do you think he gets three bags?
- 31:33Speaker 1: It feels like he could steal three bags in his sleep, but.
- 31:36Speaker 4: Would that be important to you? Would that be important
- 31:38Speaker 4: to you?
- 31:39Speaker 5: Yeah, are you kidding me? Me too. Bro, we got–
- 31:44Speaker 5: I know we're starting to do two shows, so on Friday, Rossi,
- 31:47Speaker 5: we got to get– we got to do a paper
- 31:49Speaker 5: chase segment. We got to figure out all the guys
- 31:52Speaker 5: that are chasing these final season personal numbers. I mean,
- 31:56Speaker 5: PCA's definitely 40-40s on his mind. We got guys chasing
- 32:00Speaker 5: 30 home runs, 40 home runs, 50 home runs, 100 RBIs,
- 32:04Speaker 5: stolen bases. So we got to look into 200 innings
- 32:08Speaker 5: if there's any pitchers that are chasing that 200-inning mark,
- 32:12Speaker 5: 200 strikeout mark. So this Friday, we got to do
- 32:15Speaker 5: a paper chase segment because PCA's one of them. I'm
- 32:18Speaker 5: on that.
- 32:19Speaker 1: Get on that paper chase. Get on that paper chase.
- 32:22Speaker 1: I got to give a shout-out. I got Mets Orioles
- 32:26Speaker 1: tomorrow in New York. Pete Alonzo is back, uh, with
- 32:30Speaker 1: the Orioles in that series. And he got a lot
- 32:33Speaker 1: of love last night, him and Francisco Lindor, both chasing
- 32:37Speaker 1: 300 home runs for their career.
- 32:40Speaker 4: Um, I don't know.
- 32:42Speaker 1: I think it's been done once before where you two
- 32:45Speaker 1: guys hit their 300th home run on the same day.
- 32:49Speaker 5: Wouldn't that be cool?
- 32:51Speaker 1: And both of them last night I was watching, uh,
- 32:54Speaker 1: prepping for this game, and both of them hit foul homers,
- 32:56Speaker 1: just foul. And then I think they all got on
- 32:59Speaker 1: first base and were talking about it. So the Polar
- 33:02Speaker 1: Bears back in New York, getting a lot of love
- 33:04Speaker 1: from all the fans. They were sitting around watching and
- 33:07Speaker 1: hoping this happens.
- 33:08Speaker 4: But here he is right here.
- 33:09Speaker 1: The first baseman, number 25, Pete Alonzo.
- 33:23Speaker 4: Back playing his walkout song.
- 33:25Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 33:26Speaker 4: You know what that feels like? You know what that
- 33:27Speaker 4: feels like? You went back to Chicago as a Yankee. Like,
- 33:30Speaker 4: that's a great feeling, right?
- 33:32Speaker 5: I know. It was a great feeling for me. And
- 33:36Speaker 5: watching Pete's interview, seeing him, seeing the whole thing play out,
- 33:41Speaker 5: talking to Stevie Cohen before the game, just seems like
- 33:44Speaker 5: a lot of awkwardness out of Pete's side, right? Like,
- 33:50Speaker 5: I mean, I think the fans of New York love
- 33:52Speaker 5: Pete cause he was Pete and, um, obviously it didn't
- 33:55Speaker 5: work out and he seems very happy in Baltimore, but
- 33:58Speaker 5: I mean, bro, as a player, I'll see, he, he
- 34:01Speaker 5: loved New York, right? He lived, breathed and died the
- 34:05Speaker 5: New York Mets. And then on the other side, he's saying,
- 34:07Speaker 5: I'm just so happy where I am. There's no ill will,
- 34:10Speaker 5: which he said all the right things, but man, it's.
- 34:12Speaker 4: Like, Yeah, but you want to go in and kick
- 34:15Speaker 4: their ass. Yeah, are you kidding me?
- 34:17Speaker 5: Hey, no doubt, bro. When I got traded and it
- 34:22Speaker 5: was like, oh, we're going to try to sign you
- 34:24Speaker 5: back with the Cubs, and then that offseason you don't
- 34:26Speaker 5: hear from the Cubs, I'm like, fuck that. Like, that
- 34:29Speaker 5: pisses you off, right? And I love the Cubs. There's
- 34:32Speaker 5: no ill will. But he goes in there. He has
- 34:38Speaker 5: the most home runs in Mets history. He's played there
- 34:40Speaker 5: for seven years. The drama of signing him back last year,
- 34:45Speaker 5: or two years ago. He comes back, has another good year.
- 34:47Speaker 5: He's having a monster year this year. And on top
- 34:49Speaker 5: of that, the Mets' first base position this year has
- 34:52Speaker 5: been an absolute disaster, right? Yeah, yeah, yeah. It is
- 34:57Speaker 5: weird seeing him in an Orioles uniform. It really is.
- 35:00Speaker 4: I had a stat going into this game.
- 35:02Speaker 1: I think the Orioles are top four in the league
- 35:06Speaker 1: out of production, out of first base, and the Mets
- 35:08Speaker 1: are 29th.
- 35:09Speaker 5: Bro, Pete's one of those guys at the end of
- 35:11Speaker 5: the year, every year, he's going to have his numbers. Well,
- 35:13Speaker 5: here's what.
- 35:14Speaker 1: So I was looking at, and I'm trying to put
- 35:16Speaker 1: on my, like, you know, when you're thinking about how
- 35:19Speaker 1: front offices think and not signing.
- 35:21Speaker 4: Guys back, right?
- 35:21Speaker 1: Like two years ago, he had a down year for
- 35:24Speaker 1: him in New York at the, when he was a
- 35:27Speaker 1: free agent and he had a, he didn't have his
- 35:29Speaker 1: type of year. Um, and then signs that one year
- 35:32Speaker 1: deal to come back. And I don't, I don't know
- 35:36Speaker 1: if he took the quiet qualifying offer or how it
- 35:38Speaker 1: all played out, but, uh, comes back and has a
- 35:41Speaker 1: monster year. It's the big home run in the post season.
- 35:44Speaker 1: But I think, you know, sometimes front offices, they see
- 35:48Speaker 1: the bad and they, they convince themselves that that's, that's
- 35:50Speaker 1: how that's the debt starting to downslide.
- 35:52Speaker 5: They make their own narrative, right?
- 35:54Speaker 4: Yep.
- 35:55Speaker 5: Yep.
- 35:55Speaker 4: And they're like, we don't want.
- 35:56Speaker 1: To see, watch this at a, whatever the 160, 70
- 35:59Speaker 1: clip million dollar clip it's going to be. So they,
- 36:02Speaker 1: they go ahead and convince themselves that we'll take him
- 36:05Speaker 1: back on one year on kind of this, um, you know,
- 36:09Speaker 1: whatever those contracts, um, I'm blanking on the word, but
- 36:12Speaker 1: you get that kind of bridge contract and they let
- 36:15Speaker 1: him go to free agency and not sign him back.
- 36:17Speaker 1: I don't know what the reasoning was, but it definitely... Well,
- 36:20Speaker 1: he said... Pete's proved it. Proved that he's not done.
- 36:24Speaker 1: He's still got a lot left in the tank.
- 36:26Speaker 5: He said how much the Orioles have valued him in
- 36:30Speaker 5: free agency. And you could see why, right? They have
- 36:32Speaker 5: a very young team where you can bring in a
- 36:35Speaker 5: very established veteran presence that can help those young players
- 36:41Speaker 5: develop all while they know what they're going to get
- 36:43Speaker 5: out of him. It's a great fit for the Orioles.
- 36:46Speaker 5: I really hope Pete is happy there. I know it's
- 36:49Speaker 5: got to be, just from personal experience, it was emotional returning.
- 36:53Speaker 5: He handled it well. I hope to see him hit
- 36:55Speaker 5: a home run. When he hit that foul ball, home
- 36:57Speaker 5: run foul, and the fans were cheering, I loved it.
- 37:02Speaker 5: I think he deserves that. I know Lindor kind of
- 37:06Speaker 5: popped off a little bit to the media saying, hey,
- 37:07Speaker 5: when the game starts, he's not on our team anymore,
- 37:10Speaker 5: but Bro, he was the face of that franchise for
- 37:14Speaker 5: seven years, right? And the fan base loves Pete Alonzo.
- 37:20Speaker 5: They're pissed off that they didn't sign him back, the
- 37:23Speaker 5: fan base. You got zero production out of the first
- 37:26Speaker 5: base position this year. And he's coming back chasing 300
- 37:31Speaker 5: home runs, right? So I love that they cheer for him.
- 37:36Speaker 5: I mean, they wouldn't be cheering for him if the
- 37:38Speaker 5: Mets were in the race, that's for sure. If the
- 37:40Speaker 5: Mets were in it, They give him the curtain call.
- 37:42Speaker 5: They give him the love. But when the game started,
- 37:44Speaker 5: it'd be a, it'd be a totally different scene if
- 37:47Speaker 5: the Mets were in it.
- 37:49Speaker 1: Well, and the O's are still technically in, I mean,
- 37:51Speaker 1: three games back. I don't know if I believe in him,
- 37:53Speaker 1: but like he's actually in a race right now where
- 37:56Speaker 1: the Mets are out of it. And you know, that's
- 37:58Speaker 1: got to feel good too. So he's, he's trying to
- 38:00Speaker 1: push them to the finish line here with, with two
- 38:03Speaker 1: weeks left. And you know, it's always nice. I think
- 38:07Speaker 1: some guys that go to a different team that, don't
- 38:11Speaker 1: really get invited back to the organization like the instance
- 38:14Speaker 1: you were talking about and have good years. You never
- 38:17Speaker 1: know how that's going to go, and he's definitely been
- 38:19Speaker 1: a big impact for that group there. I've done a
- 38:22Speaker 1: couple of their games, and their managers talked about it.
- 38:25Speaker 1: Craig Albernaz has talked about just what an impact he's made,
- 38:29Speaker 1: not only on the field but also in the locker room.
- 38:33Speaker 1: And the dude's a home run hitter. He's a true
- 38:35Speaker 1: slugger in our game. Those guys are few and far
- 38:38Speaker 1: between right now.
- 38:39Speaker 5: Totally.
- 38:39Speaker 1: Totally.
- 38:40Speaker 5: So wait, what I picked up from this is you're
- 38:42Speaker 5: going to be in New York tomorrow? Yeah. Oh, yeah.
- 38:45Speaker 5: Are we going to hang out?
- 38:46Speaker 4: And we should. We should do a late night dinner.
- 38:50Speaker 5: I'm in now.
- 38:50Speaker 1: I got to go to Chicago the next day. But
- 38:52Speaker 1: I get in super early. I've got a little volleyball.
- 38:55Speaker 4: I got a little middle school volleyball I changed my
- 38:57Speaker 4: flight for. So I'll be in bright and early tomorrow.
- 39:00Speaker 5: Good luck to Harper, your youngest.
- 39:02Speaker 4: Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Speaking of some of the... Go ahead.
- 39:07Speaker 5: Let's talk about the... American League Central Showdown that is
- 39:13Speaker 5: taking place this week. Guardians, White Sox. White Sox taking
- 39:19Speaker 5: the first of a three-game set. How important is this
- 39:23Speaker 5: for the White Sox? It feels like the Guardians every
- 39:26Speaker 5: year the last few years come back in September and
- 39:29Speaker 5: make the playoffs. but the White Sox winning last night
- 39:32Speaker 5: was a big statement in the beginning of this series.
- 39:35Speaker 5: Big one, man.
- 39:36Speaker 4: You're exactly right.
- 39:37Speaker 1: And Toronto lost late last night. It was a big
- 39:42Speaker 1: loss because they're nipping on the heels. I think they're
- 39:44Speaker 1: a game back. So potentially, who's ever that wild card
- 39:48Speaker 1: could get knocked out, you know, between the.
- 39:51Speaker 4: White Sox, Cleveland.
- 39:52Speaker 1: What if the White Sox don't make, imagine if they
- 39:54Speaker 1: don't make the playoffs. Like, what do you, I mean,
- 39:57Speaker 1: the Cleveland's got a great pitching staff.
- 39:59Speaker 4: I feel like they've got one of the easier schedules. Like,
- 40:02Speaker 4: they're going to be in it.
- 40:04Speaker 1: I said that a while back, but I didn't see
- 40:06Speaker 1: the White Sox kind of falling off a little bit
- 40:09Speaker 1: and kind of some other teams.
- 40:10Speaker 4: And I don't think anybody saw Toronto coming.
- 40:12Speaker 1: But they're hitting on all cylinders, and they've been in
- 40:16Speaker 1: that kind of last year coming off the World Series.
- 40:19Speaker 1: They know what that feels like, those intensive bats, so
- 40:22Speaker 1: it's going to be an intense race down the stretch.
- 40:24Speaker 1: I think Texas is a game back. It's tight, and
- 40:28Speaker 1: the White Sox not making the playoffs would be devastating.
- 40:32Speaker 5: Yeah, well, I don't know. I kind of disagree, bro.
- 40:36Speaker 5: Talk to me.
- 40:36Speaker 4: Okay, I want to have this discussion.
- 40:39Speaker 5: It would be a major letdown, right? But They were,
- 40:43Speaker 5: no one had them here, right?
- 40:45Speaker 4: Sure.
- 40:45Speaker 5: So yes, if you're a White Sox player, if you're
- 40:49Speaker 5: a fan, it'd be a letdown. But then when you
- 40:51Speaker 5: can really look back and be like, okay, well, this
- 40:53Speaker 5: team made major strides and now we're setting ourselves up
- 40:57Speaker 5: to have a little bit of realistic expectations going into
- 41:01Speaker 5: next year, right? So I feel like it's trending in
- 41:04Speaker 5: the right direction as a White Sox organization, as a fan.
- 41:09Speaker 5: The new stadium, you see those new stadium layouts, Rossi? Yeah,
- 41:12Speaker 5: that's going to be sick. Right? In the loop there
- 41:15Speaker 5: in Chicago.
- 41:16Speaker 4: Finally, finally.
- 41:18Speaker 5: Yeah, it seems like the vibes are high. If they
- 41:21Speaker 5: don't make it, it would be a really big gut
- 41:24Speaker 5: punch because it seems like this team has really come
- 41:27Speaker 5: together and is a band of brothers watching them and
- 41:29Speaker 5: seeing them all year. But man, this season's been a
- 41:33Speaker 5: pretty big success for them as far as an organization
- 41:36Speaker 5: and taking a major step forward. So that's my take
- 41:40Speaker 5: on it.
- 41:40Speaker 1: Okay, now it's my turn. All right, so now you're
- 41:43Speaker 1: talking like the front office. You're like, oh, we weren't
- 41:45Speaker 1: expecting to be here. And, bro, you've got two weeks left.
- 41:48Speaker 1: You're in first place. You've been in first place all
- 41:50Speaker 1: year long. Like, it would be, like you said, it
- 41:53Speaker 1: would be a huge letdown. But I don't know if
- 41:55Speaker 1: you could convince me as a player or a manager, like,
- 41:59Speaker 1: that's a successful season when you don't make the playoffs.
- 42:02Speaker 1: I'm talking about them not making the playoffs at all.
- 42:04Speaker 5: You're right.
- 42:05Speaker 1: If you get in, and it's a young group. one,
- 42:10Speaker 1: they need to go through this test. They need to be,
- 42:13Speaker 1: it needs to be tight. Like that's healthy, right? That's
- 42:15Speaker 1: healthy for the future of the franchise, for them to
- 42:17Speaker 1: continue to make the postseason in future years. But what
- 42:20Speaker 1: I will say is we always play this narrative. We're
- 42:24Speaker 1: all guilty of it.
- 42:25Speaker 4: It's like experience and another year.
- 42:28Speaker 1: In your belt for young players are going to equate
- 42:30Speaker 1: to a better year next year.
- 42:32Speaker 4: They're going to grow and be better next year. That's
- 42:34Speaker 4: not always the case.
- 42:35Speaker 1: You know as well as I do that each year
- 42:37Speaker 1: is an individual year and you don't know what's going
- 42:42Speaker 1: to happen there's injuries there's guys just have a they
- 42:44Speaker 1: just you know they lose it for a year or
- 42:46Speaker 1: for you know six seven you know six seven weeks
- 42:50Speaker 1: and all of a sudden yeah six seven.
- 42:53Speaker 4: My heart would kill me right now he's like come
- 42:55Speaker 4: on dad you're being you're being cringe um.
- 42:58Speaker 1: But yeah it's not always it's not always that it's
- 43:02Speaker 1: going to be better next year so um i.
- 43:04Speaker 5: Would push back a little bit i mean bro.
- 43:06Speaker 1: That narrative of like it was a successful season like
- 43:09Speaker 1: I wouldn't, I wouldn't hang.
- 43:11Speaker 4: I thought I had a successful season. My last year
- 43:14Speaker 4: got fired. So like it gets a little, it gets
- 43:17Speaker 4: a little hairy there. If you don't make it, everybody's somebody.
- 43:21Speaker 5: Yeah. I remember in 2015, we weren't really, I mean,
- 43:26Speaker 5: I thought we were going to be good and we,
- 43:28Speaker 5: we make it to the NLCS. And when we lost,
- 43:30Speaker 5: I was heartbroken. Right. It was.
- 43:32Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 43:33Speaker 5: And when you look back, like, yeah, it was a
- 43:34Speaker 5: great step stepping stone to winning the world series the
- 43:37Speaker 5: next year. But, I hear what you're saying. You would
- 43:41Speaker 5: feel it, but when you look back, you'd be like,
- 43:43Speaker 5: all right, this could be the start of something good.
- 43:45Speaker 1: I just love that these young players are going to
- 43:47Speaker 1: get an opportunity to prove like, no, no, no, we've
- 43:51Speaker 1: been good all year, we are good, and they'll get
- 43:53Speaker 1: that experience of a tight race because I think that's
- 43:55Speaker 1: fun baseball for them and it's needed for your career.
- 44:00Speaker 5: White Sox playoffs, Cubbies playoffs, Bears back in session. Football?
- 44:06Speaker 5: Are you kidding me? Chicago in October is going to
- 44:08Speaker 5: be a vibe. Speaking of vibes.
- 44:13Speaker 4: Oh, nice. That's a good segue.
- 44:15Speaker 5: That's a good segue.
- 44:17Speaker 4: I was going there.
- 44:18Speaker 5: We got our boy Kenny Chesney going on tour next summer, Rossi.

- 45:15Speaker 1: He always ends in Boston at Foxboro. He always starts
- 45:17Speaker 1: in Tampa. I've been to that one. Maybe we'll have
- 45:20Speaker 1: to have a meeting in Chicago, maybe a podcast from Chicago.
- 45:25Speaker 5: With Kenny on it?
- 45:26Speaker 1: 626.
- 45:26Speaker 4: With Kenny on it?
- 45:27Speaker 5: 626. That'd be nice. Hey, again, Ross and Rizzo 10
- 45:33Speaker 5: for 10% off your nest set of tickets. It's SeatGeek.
- 45:37Speaker 5: Ross and Rizzo 10.
- 45:39Speaker 4: SeatGeek.
- 45:40Speaker 5: Rossi, the Roberto Clemente Award nominees are out. And this
- 45:47Speaker 5: is my favorite time of the year. A lot of
- 45:49Speaker 5: guys getting awarded for their charitable contributions. That's a tongue twister. Contributions.
- 45:57Speaker 5: For the year and for over the years. And to
- 46:00Speaker 5: get recognized as a nominee for your team is a
- 46:03Speaker 5: big deal. And to win it, I had the honor
- 46:05Speaker 5: of winning it one year, it's the best award I've
- 46:07Speaker 5: ever won.
- 46:08Speaker 1: Is that the coolest trophy? That trophy, I remember being
- 46:11Speaker 1: in Houston, I was working for ESPN, and you got that.
- 46:13Speaker 1: That's like the coolest trophy. And the meaning behind it, obviously,
- 46:17Speaker 1: like all the things that go into that for you,
- 46:21Speaker 1: you deserve that and been a big part of that.
- 46:23Speaker 1: But that's got to be a great feeling just to
- 46:25Speaker 1: get nominated.
- 46:26Speaker 4: And our boy Kyle Schwarber. Our boy Kyle Schwarber.
- 46:28Speaker 5: We got some good vets on the list this year. Schwarber, Verlander,
- 46:32Speaker 5: Dansby Swanson, Pete Alonso, Carlos Rodon, Springer, a lot of
- 46:39Speaker 5: first-time guys. I believe Julio Rodriguez is on there for
- 46:42Speaker 5: the first time. So, Rossi, I actually got a call
- 46:46Speaker 5: from Major League Baseball on behalf of the Roberto Clemente
- 46:49Speaker 5: Award to be part of the voting committee. So, I
- 46:53Speaker 5: will review all these guys now and put in my votes. So,
- 46:58Speaker 5: Are you going to be biased?
- 47:00Speaker 1: Are you going to be biased? There's got to be
- 47:03Speaker 1: some heartstrings in there.
- 47:05Speaker 5: There will be some heartstrings. The top two that come
- 47:09Speaker 5: to my mind right away is Carlos Rodon and what
- 47:12Speaker 5: he's doing for infertility, him and his wife. Their foundation,
- 47:17Speaker 5: I believe it's the Willow Foundation, raises a ton of money.
- 47:20Speaker 5: They're committed to women not being able to get pregnant
- 47:25Speaker 5: with fertility issues. What they do is amazing. And then
- 47:29Speaker 5: I'm biased to Kyle Schwarber, obviously with the neighborhood heroes,
- 47:33Speaker 5: he raises so much money for first responders. He comes
- 47:36Speaker 5: from a family of first responders. Kyle looks like the
- 47:39Speaker 5: blue collar guy and he goes in back to the
- 47:41Speaker 5: community and gives to the blue collar workers. So, I mean,
- 47:45Speaker 5: those two are off the, off the top are probably my,
- 47:48Speaker 5: my top two, but I got to go through the
- 47:50Speaker 5: whole list and see, because there's a lot of guys
- 47:52Speaker 5: that do amazing work. And, you know, when you put
- 47:54Speaker 5: on a you have a platform to really do good
- 47:58Speaker 5: in this, in your community that you're in. And to
- 48:02Speaker 5: all these guys, congratulations on being nominees. And hopefully it's
- 48:06Speaker 5: many more years, your nominee and raise as much money
- 48:08Speaker 5: as you can for a cause that means dear to you.
- 48:11Speaker 4: You know, firsthand. That was great. That was great.
- 48:15Speaker 5: All right.
- 48:16Speaker 1: Now we're at the back end of our show where
- 48:19Speaker 1: we get favorite part, Tim bus, favorite part, Tim bus
- 48:22Speaker 1: ball bag segment. Brought to you by, we don't know yet,
- 48:26Speaker 1: but somebody. We're going to get this thing sponsored.
- 48:29Speaker 5: Not an ad. Wish it was. Wish it was. Shout out, Bob.
- 48:33Speaker 5: Part of the segment, part of our show where we
- 48:36Speaker 5: take questions from our fans. You can leave a comment
- 48:40Speaker 5: on our YouTube page or email rossandrizzo at gmail.com. Our
- 48:46Speaker 5: first question is from Doug Heffernan. For you, Rossi.
- 48:50Speaker 4: Dougie. Dougie.
- 48:53Speaker 5: Rossi, do you think catchers get enough credit when they
- 48:55Speaker 5: catch a no-hitter for the pitchers who throw the no-hit games?
- 49:02Speaker 1: I mean, I think we're part of the process for sure.
- 49:06Speaker 4: I've caught one. Thank you, Jake Arrieta.
- 49:10Speaker 1: And I always thought it would be this amazing moment
- 49:13Speaker 1: for me that I just navigated the lineup.
- 49:16Speaker 4: Like I saw this, I saw that. It was nothing
- 49:18Speaker 4: like that.
- 49:19Speaker 1: Jake Carrieta shook me off so much because he felt
- 49:24Speaker 1: like he didn't have control of his secondary. He later
- 49:26Speaker 1: told me. So he went to a lot of just
- 49:27Speaker 1: two seamers. He said this two seamer was working, was
- 49:31Speaker 1: really sinking, and he felt like he had the most
- 49:32Speaker 1: control over that. And the Reds just beat it into
- 49:36Speaker 1: the ground. I remember being so nervous because it was
- 49:38Speaker 1: like 16 to nothing, 16 to one, something like that.
- 49:41Speaker 1: So all I was thinking about was there's no hitter.
- 49:43Speaker 1: And I really felt like Jake walked me through that.
- 49:46Speaker 1: I got a little bit of love at the back
- 49:47Speaker 1: end and I was so happy to add that to
- 49:49Speaker 1: my resume. And obviously catchers have a big part of it,
- 49:53Speaker 1: but you know, we're not throwing the baseball. We're a small,
- 49:57Speaker 1: we're a small part of it, but yeah.
- 50:00Speaker 5: How's that Rolex he got you? Yeah. Is that it
- 50:04Speaker 5: right there?
- 50:05Speaker 1: This is the one Lester got me for 200 wins,
- 50:08Speaker 1: but I've got it.
- 50:09Speaker 4: I was showing it off.
- 50:10Speaker 1: I had my daughter was in town playing FSU in
- 50:13Speaker 1: college volleyball, so I had all the people over, and
- 50:16Speaker 1: some fans were from Chicago. Some of the parents were
- 50:18Speaker 1: from Chicago and were fans, so I was showing them
- 50:20Speaker 1: that and the rings and stuff.
- 50:22Speaker 4: But the no-hitter, I think.
- 50:24Speaker 5: Oh, memory lane.
- 50:25Speaker 4: Oh, back in my day, I was.
- 50:30Speaker 4: Okay.
- 50:31Speaker 1: But no, the catchers give the right amount of love,
- 50:36Speaker 1: I think. They always should be in there. And then
- 50:37Speaker 1: they get a little hardware, like Riz is talking about.
- 50:40Speaker 1: You know, we got that watch. All right, here's one
- 50:44Speaker 1: for you, Tony. Do the Cubs have a strong enough
- 50:46Speaker 1: bullpen to win a close one-run game in the playoff series?
- 50:50Speaker 4: I am concerned. This is from Tony.
- 50:53Speaker 5: To Tony. No, to both of us.
- 50:55Speaker 4: From Tony to Tony.
- 50:57Speaker 5: You know.
- 50:59Speaker 5: Yes. Do they have a strong enough bullpen.
- 51:05Speaker 4: To win a 1-1 game? It's scaring me right now.
- 51:08Speaker 5: Yes, they do. Yes, they do. But yes, I am
- 51:11Speaker 5: concerned as well. It is their weak point. It is
- 51:15Speaker 5: not their strong point. They lead the league in offense
- 51:20Speaker 5: and defense, but worst in pitching ERA. And their bullpen
- 51:25Speaker 5: and the back end is a lot of question marks.
- 51:29Speaker 5: It is definitely the Achilles heel for the Cubbies. And
- 51:33Speaker 5: guys are going to have to get hot. And they
- 51:35Speaker 5: have an opportunity to get hot. And on special run teams,
- 51:40Speaker 5: on championship teams, where I do not think the Cubs
- 51:43Speaker 5: were the favorites to win the World Series. If they
- 51:45Speaker 5: win the World Series, they're going to have to go
- 51:47Speaker 5: on a really good run, especially pitching-wise. They have the offense.
- 51:51Speaker 5: They have the defense. But this is an opportunity for
- 51:54Speaker 5: someone in that bullpen to get hot, a couple guys,
- 51:56Speaker 5: and carry them to the promised land.
- 51:59Speaker 4: Well, you touched on it.
- 52:01Speaker 1: Hitters get hot, pitchers do too, and the bullpen can
- 52:03Speaker 1: start rolling. Craig's learning his bullpen right now. Danny Palencia
- 52:11Speaker 1: was supposed to come back and be that guy.
- 52:13Speaker 4: He hasn't been.
- 52:14Speaker 1: He needs more reps and get into that mode. Maybe
- 52:16Speaker 1: a little bit of postseason adrenaline gets him there. I
- 52:19Speaker 1: think he's the kind of linchpin to them being successful.
- 52:22Speaker 1: If he's dominant like he has been to the start
- 52:25Speaker 1: of the season in the WBC draft, I think they've
- 52:28Speaker 1: got a chance. But it's definitely, like you said, the
- 52:30Speaker 1: weakest part of their game right now. And like the
- 52:34Speaker 1: kids would say, it's sus. A little suspect. A little sus.
- 52:39Speaker 5: All right. One more.
- 52:41Speaker 4: This is for you. So I'll read an email from
- 52:43Speaker 4: Nolan Todas. Todas.
- 52:46Speaker 1: Anthony, I was listening to your 14-pitch at bat that
- 52:49Speaker 1: ended in a home run on the radio. What goes
- 52:52Speaker 1: into your mind while in the midst of a super
- 52:54Speaker 1: long at bat like that? Ooh.
- 52:58Speaker 5: That was a special one. That was the first game
- 53:00Speaker 5: in 2021 where we were at full capacity at Wrigley. Cubs, Cardinals. Cards.
- 53:06Speaker 4: I was managing.
- 53:07Speaker 5: What a great question, especially after Peters had the 18
- 53:12Speaker 5: pitch at bat yesterday to spark the rally for the
- 53:15Speaker 5: White Sox. That was an epic at bat. When you
- 53:20Speaker 5: get into those long at bats, you usually see every pitch.
- 53:25Speaker 5: And for me in that at bat, I was waiting
- 53:29Speaker 5: to see, I believe, his slider. And I saw it.
- 53:33Speaker 5: So once I saw that, I knew I can keep
- 53:36Speaker 5: fouling off pitches. And I knew he couldn't beat me
- 53:39Speaker 5: with anything. And when you start really believing when you're
- 53:41Speaker 5: in the box that there's nothing this guy can throw
- 53:44Speaker 5: that can beat me in this at-bat, it's powerful. So, yeah,
- 53:50Speaker 5: the crowd starts getting into it after the 7th, 8th,
- 53:53Speaker 5: 9th pitch. It starts getting louder. Wrigley was... insane because
- 53:57Speaker 5: it was the first day back at full capacity after
- 53:59Speaker 5: covid and then to hit the home run it was
- 54:02Speaker 5: and then to hit the home run and put us
- 54:04Speaker 5: up too right.
- 54:05Speaker 1: Yeah it was yeah it was a big at bat
- 54:07Speaker 1: it was like well i've got a picture that uh
- 54:10Speaker 1: with me and andy green were standing on the top
- 54:12Speaker 1: step and you hit that home run and we're both
- 54:15Speaker 1: hands up like this it was like it was an
- 54:17Speaker 1: epic at bat because riz went into his two strike
- 54:20Speaker 1: approach and just you were on it the timing was
- 54:24Speaker 1: was there you were on everything And you connected with that.
- 54:28Speaker 4: It was amazing.
- 54:29Speaker 1: The one, it was Dodgers-Cubs with Cora in 2004, the
- 54:34Speaker 1: one that I was talking about earlier. It was also
- 54:36Speaker 1: an 18-pitch at bat that ended in a home run.
- 54:38Speaker 1: And Cora didn't hit homers, you know, and it was
- 54:40Speaker 1: at Dodger Stadium at night. So that was the one
- 54:45Speaker 1: last night, yours, and then Cora's are the three that
- 54:48Speaker 1: come to mind.
- 54:49Speaker 4: Long at bats, you know, ended in a walk last night.
- 54:54Speaker 4: You know, Peters.
- 54:54Speaker 5: Walking a rally. Yeah, walking a rally. Most important win
- 54:58Speaker 5: of the season.
- 54:58Speaker 1: That's the kind of players, man, those kind of at-bats
- 55:01Speaker 1: and what he did on the bases, you know, not
- 55:02Speaker 1: to get off track and extend this thing, but like
- 55:05Speaker 1: that at-bat, what he did on the bases, a true
- 55:08Speaker 1: baseball player, a grinder, those type of guys win baseball games.
- 55:12Speaker 5: It's a momentum.
- 55:12Speaker 1: You know, if they go, if the White Sox make
- 55:15Speaker 1: the postseason, that game is going to be a big
- 55:18Speaker 1: one that they'll point to that was a huge, huge
- 55:21Speaker 1: moment in their season.
- 55:22Speaker 5: No doubt. No doubt. So, all right, Rossi, well, I'm
- 55:26Speaker 5: excited to see the rest of this Guardians White Sox
- 55:30Speaker 5: series play out. We are back Friday. We are extending
- 55:34Speaker 5: our coverage of the playoff run, the road to October.
- 55:39Speaker 5: Cannot wait. I know you got some ESPN coming up.
- 55:42Speaker 5: I will be on the NBC wildcard round games, but
- 55:47Speaker 5: we are coming back Friday. We're going twice a week now.
- 55:50Speaker 5: I'm super excited. Thank you everyone for watching, listening. I, we, Please, please,

- 56:04Speaker 5: and we will see you all on Friday.
