A 26-year-old man, Jarvis Terrell Owens, just pleaded guilty to felony murder and assault after a high-speed police chase in Lipscomb ended in a fatal crash that killed 18-year-old honor student Hajsun Jermale Hudson Jr. The pursuit began when officers tried to stop Owens for speeding — he fled, and the chase was called off quickly.
